Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story.
Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge,
there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice.
And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am.
It's not just any audiobook.
This is a full cast performance.
So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry,
brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads sing is Mr. Darcy.
And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything.
Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix.
Talk about a dream cast.
Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics,
and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy.
And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels
so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
So whether it's your first time experiencing Pride and Prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again.
So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash Jane Austen.
This week's grape therapy is sponsored by Geico.

Caitlin Bristow is going to answer your questions, drink to your confessions, and hear what
you have to say about anything Bachelor.
Let's shake it up some more.
Here's Caitlin.
All right, welcome to Grape Therapy.
I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow.
Your session is now starting.
I had the privilege to sit down with the two cele-obsessed ladies, which I call them angels.
Pretty much, I think, one year ago I podcasted with them.
So I was excited to catch up.
They run the insanely popular celebrity-focused Instagram accounts and have a pop culture-inspired podcast as well.
Their original account at Comments by Celebs has over 1.5 million followers, including Chrissy Teigen, Andy Coe and John Mayer.
Don't know if you've heard of them.
They're a constant source of entertainment and laughs in what can sometimes be a weird, dark world.
So I love nothing more than to be cheered up by their content.
I hope you guys enjoy this podcast.
We talk all things, celebs.
We play a rapid fire game.
And we talk about my run in with Kanye West right off the bat.
So enjoy this podcast with Emma, Diamond, and Julie Kramer.
Okay, I have to tell you guys right off the bat what just happened to me.
Yes.
Okay.
So I was taking, I'm in this condo, like apartment buildings in Hollywood.
And I was taking my dog Raman out to go to the bathroom.
And I'm like in my sweats, like mask on, going down the elevator.
And I was looking at my phone.
and the door is open and I look up and I was like oh shoot is this my floor and then I look it's
freaking Kanye West just standing there yes with two other guys he's just standing there and I was like
um and then I was like oh yep this is my floor and then I like took ramen and ramen like
kind of like was like like because he does that to everybody and then we like kept walking and I was like
oh my god I like physically almost ran into him and he was just like standing there like so
con like he he just was like straight face oh my god i know that's amazing i'm like that's a crazy one because
i mean two things if he was like walking across the street and like with you know his people
i'd be like well cool that's conier west but i think it was like the fact that i like it was unexpected
i like jolted out of the elevator and he was just staring at me i was like hey
Oh, my God.
That's a good one.
That was a good one.
Quick question.
Did you know that right now,
GEICO is offering an extra 15% credit on car, motorcycle, and RV policies?
That's 15% on top of the money GEICO could already save you.
So what are you waiting for?
Your dog to make you breakfast in bed with Belgian waffles and a fresh fruit compote.
As nice as that sounds, that's probably never going to happen.
But at least there's never been a better time to switch to GEICO.
Save an extra 15%.
When you switch by October 7th, visit guycoe.com to learn more.
Where are you guys?
Are you both in New York?
No, actually, I'm in New Jersey.
And I'm in Connecticut.
We're both at our childhood homes.
Oh, my gosh, fun.
Like, is your room still decorated the same?
You can see a little bit of turquoise in the background.
So, yeah.
That's amazing.
I was thinking, because have you guys been there for the whole, like, quarantining?
Yeah.
My gosh.
I was thinking about that for people in New York.
Like where did everybody go?
And a lot of people just went back home to wherever, you know, they're from or where their family is.
What has that been like for you guys?
You know, it's been, I liked it.
I feel really lucky.
The city is so small and so confining.
So it felt good to kind of be, you know, in more of an open environment.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's good being here for the summer.
Like, I hate being in the city during the summer because it's so, like, stifling.
But as it's getting cooler, I'm like ready to go back.
Yeah.
No, I feel that.
Um, even just like, like Nashville, I have my house there and it was nice and I have the dogs in a
backyard and a neighborhood and I wasn't like really complaining, but just coming to LA, I've only
been here for two days.
I'm like, this is a really nice change of pace.
Like, this is a change of scenery.
I haven't traveled in a while.
So it's, um, and I have one dog here who, by the way, if he like starts making noises, he,
I can tell he has an ear infection this morning and I'm losing my mind because I don't have a vet here.
But anyways, anyways, do you know that it's been.
like basically a year since we talked
I know yeah I was just thinking about that this morning
it's so crazy to think about it think about how many things have happened since then
so many things it's literally the weirdest time and I was wondering actually for you guys
like the direction of social media accounts because you guys talk about like celebrity gossip
too right on like your podcast has that been hard to come up with content because I feel
well probably not but I feel like everything has slowed down like people
aren't really out and about and getting into trouble or doing things. So there's not like as many
things to gossip about. But I mean, I'm sure there's still everything going on. But what has been like,
what have you guys been talking about on your podcast? It's so funny you say that because in the
beginning of quarantine, Julie and I had not even going to like not to sound dramatic, but we were
fully panicking. We were like, we have a podcast that really exists based on what's going on
in celebrity news. How can there be news? No one can leave their houses. And we very quickly started to
realized that that wasn't a case somehow there just is always things to talk about whether it was
you know chris and cavillari and they're getting divorced or demi lavato getting engaged
there's been a lot of relationship news a lot of baby news jgd got pregnant or we found out about her
pregnancy in quarantine that was huge so we're not we're getting and we were like i don't know how this is
happening but we're not going to even go around like we're not going to second guess it we're just
blessed and thank you yeah that's true yeah once we realize that uh quarantine led to a lot of divorces and a lot of
babies we like figured we were in good we were in a good place isn't that funny is it's like it
went one of two ways everyone was either getting pregnant or getting divorced it was like it made
and it either made or broke that's not the same make or break you know make or break made or broke
yeah past tense but that's i feel like it was so um are you two in relationships
i'm not i like i like kind of am i don't know i wait a second let's let's
dive into that. What do you mean you don't know? Well, no. I mean, so I have been seeing someone
on and off for almost two years now and we kind of broke up in the beginning of quarantine
because I think something that happens a lot or what started to happen in the beginning of
quarantine was it was kind of like a reset for people. You really had to figure out what was your
priorities, you know? And I kind of was getting the sense that our relationship wasn't for him,
which was totally fine, but I was just like, this is not going to be it right now.
I didn't see each other for months, and then, like, a couple of months ago, we just started
hanging out again. And I don't know, there's a sense of intimacy that comes from this time
because you have nothing else to do. There's no distraction. So you get to know someone quicker
in a way. And, I mean, like, I haven't gotten my eyebrows or my nails done since March.
I haven't done a thing. So this is me in my raw state. And as someone who's, I don't know,
I can be concerned with that type of stuff.
stuff it's almost freeing to just be like hey this is me and so here i am that's so true i like
that you said that it is free and i for a while there i was doing the same thing i was like i am not
going to blow dry my hair i am not going to do my eyebrows i'm not going to put on any makeup i'm
okay i lied i did get a couple spray tans but like actually i couldn't even at one point and then
i did my own like little bronzer which was always a fail but i felt the same way like it was
almost liberating to just like be yourself and like as raw
as possible. And we're all going through, excuse me, we're all going through like this vulnerable
time together with the world. So I feel like it would be weird if we were like glaming ourselves up to
go through this. You know, like it was kind of our time to just be who we are. Yeah. That's definitely
how we talk. I have just, I know that you're interviewing us, but I have a quick question that I have
to ask. Oh my gosh, please. I feel like when we were on your podcast last time, which like you said,
it was almost a year ago you were in it with jason but it i don't know it was still still at least
felt new and now i feel like in it in it like i need to know what that has been like through quarantine
like the way that you spoke about him when we were together was so just beautiful like you couldn't
believe that men like him existed and i obviously would imagine that it's the same but i'm just
curious like how has that been i like think about you guys so much that's so cute yeah honestly
it's i always like to like
because we're not perfect of course but like he still is that
like he is he just never has let me down in any way like from
you know when you first meet someone and you're like when's the other shoe
going to drop like what's going to happen he can't really be this good like he is not
once disappointed me in who he has who he is as a person wow that's such a
beautiful thing that's incredible he's he's he's really great and like
I think it's helped me because I just get so, you know, like anxious and down sometimes.
And he's just such a level-headed human who always makes the best of every situation.
So even in like a pandemic, he's just been so solid for me.
And like he's just, he's just like a rock.
He's great.
That's so great.
Wow.
Yeah.
Okay.
And that you guys have your main account, obviously.
But did you start an influencer one?
Yeah.
okay because so now you have the comments by celebs you have the bachelor one and now you have an
influencer one is that it or do you have more no we have bravo athletes influencers tick talk
all those athletes yeah oh my gosh this is amazing how do you have like a whole team of people
that help you with this no not really stop it how do you keep up well julie and i run the main one
and then isabel pretty much primarily who's our third member of our team primarily runs
And then we hire more to run athletes, but we do the rest.
My gosh, you hardworking women.
That's amazing.
That's a big job.
Like some people might not understand how much effort is put into that, but that's a big
job.
Thank you.
Thank you.
You guys freaking crush it.
It's like my favorite account to follow on Instagram.
I'm not even lying.
And your captions are always so clever.
Like every, I'm like, damn, that captions is the part that got me.
Like the comments by celebs are hilarious.
But then your captions, that's what gets me.
It's so funny.
You guys are great.
And you obviously have a Bachelor-focused page.
What the heck is going on in the Bachelor world right now?
Listen, I got to be honest, and honestly, this may be a good place to say this podcast.
If you are someone who is a die-hard Bachelor Nation person, I'm not going to say we're
definitely hiring, but we very easily could be because I pretty much run that one.
And I can't lie.
I'm not that deep in the Bachelor world.
So it's really hard to kind of keep up.
I watched a little bit of Paradise,
so I know some of the players.
But it's just, it's crazy.
I mean, this whole thing with Tasia and Claire,
we're like trying to keep up,
but don't really know what's going on.
It's like the one area of celebrity
that we're not that well versed in.
That's funny.
Well, it is hard to keep up because they're so secretive.
So, yeah.
It's hard to, like, figure out what's going on
when they're trying to keep it all a secret.
Like, all I know,
I'm seeing Becca,
K tonight, and I'm like, she was on set.
I'm like, I'm going to pick her brain and see what the heck's going on because I,
like, nobody will talk to me.
I literally sent producers messages being like, look, I'm under contract with ABC again.
I'm a vault.
I won't say anything.
What the hell is going on?
And they're like, yeah, we know better than to tell you something in your big mouth.
Never forget.
Exactly.
Hashtag never forget.
Let's take a minute to talk about clothes because.
Guess what? Fall is here, and I absolutely love dressing and all the cute fall trends and styles.
And one place I've loved shopping lately for Fall and Beyond is Express.
If you haven't checked out Express lately, you need to because Express is all new and all about you
with a fresh assortment of casual, versatile, and super comfortable styles.
I'm all about dressing cute, feeling good, but also being comfortable at the same time because
being comfortable is key.
You can't look good if you don't feel good if you ask me and you don't feel good if your clothes
aren't fitting your bod right.
I love that Express has really quality styles,
but also has a focus on comfort.
They have this lux comfort knit denim
that literally looks like high quality,
really nice jeans,
but are soft and feel like you could legit
just be wearing leggings or sweats.
I love that feeling when I'm all put together,
but secretly I can also feel like I'm just wearing pajamas
because who doesn't love being comfy?
They also have a category on their site
called Art of the Essential,
which is just beautiful classic pieces
that you know you'll wear.
forever. They're also just perfect items to keep in your closet because you can grab any one of these
essential tops and you'll look cute and put together whether you want to dress it up, keep a casual,
and hey, if you need to throw on a cute top for Zoom meetings, look no further. No one will even know
if you're not wearing pants. You guys have to check out Express on their website and their social
media for some inspiration and right now you can text Vine to 397-737 to receive $25 off your purchase.
speaking of going on i'm under contract again but going on dancing with the stars i want to know
who you think would be good celebrities that would be on this season of dancing in my head i'm like
well conier west is staying in the same building as me so he's probably on dancing with the stars i'm just
kidding i would die there's no way they couldn't they would he wouldn't ask for like shmillions of
dollars to do that yeah no never oh that's a good one julie who do you think would do it like i heard
Carol Baskin is on it.
Carole Baskin would be amazing.
Yeah.
It would also be amazing Peter's mom.
Yeah.
Oh my God.
Peter's mom is for sure.
Yeah, right.
As if she's not on this season.
That's a great call.
That is a good call.
I can also see,
I'm not necessarily her,
but I could also see someone like,
you guys may totally disagree with this,
but I can see them bringing on like a tanamojo
or someone in that, like,
like if David Doverick would do it,
someone like David Dobrick, not that I think he was just thinking it would be like somewhat of a missed
opportunity and not have like at least try to get some TikTok star on. Right. Yeah. That's so true.
That would no, because then they'll beat me. They'll get all the votes. That's so smart though,
though. That's like Taylor Swift getting TikTokers to be in her video because you know those people
that are all following them are going to watch. Like it's genius. That would be super smart for
rating's purposes and
people to vote.
Dang.
Yeah.
Addison Ray, I saw that she was just vaping.
You're thinking of Charlie.
I just saw that video.
Wait, who is it?
Charlie.
Oh, Charlie.
I just saw that video literally right before we started recording.
That's so funny because people are like, it's an anxiety pen, but isn't it like
full-blown a vape?
You know something?
I don't know.
I have this like very maternal sense of, I feel like,
a sense of protection over Charlie because she's 16 years old and she just blew up in the course
of six months. And I just like want to, I want everybody to just like leave her being. So I don't
know. I'm like the person. Leave her alone. Totally. I completely agree because when I saw that,
I was like, oh my gosh, people are going to be all over her. But what 16 year old doesn't try stuff
like that or like anything she does now is going to have to be watched. And she's like any
mistake is going to just be out there for her to get you know i hate the cancel culture how do we feel
about the cancel culture if it's like really bad okay but you know like it'd have to be something that
is like unforgivable for somebody to be canceled otherwise i hate it sorry that's the thing that
we always talk about is we're like well there's a difference between like accountability and cancel
culture like some people just need to be held accountable and they do shitty things and it's okay to
like not it's okay to not want to be a fan of somebody after they do something like super super
shitty but if somebody says something wrong or does something wrong that can be like taught
and fixed and educated like why don't we try that instead of just like like i just think that
it like we are so quick to just get rid of anybody that we don't agree with i totally agree
it's like people are allowed to make mistakes and learn and grow and a lot of people who do
make like look at hannah b who made that mistake on on instagram live
And now has, like, completely educated herself and is like, like, she's taking courses and, like, really getting into it and, and making a change in from, like, you know, not understanding anything about that world.
She really, like, really went over the top with educating herself, which I love.
And I think that deserves some credit.
I just think also the other thing is that people, the goal that people are trying to reach by,
canceling anyone automatically, you're doing yourself such a disservice because then the people
that actually do things that are, like, really dangerous, you know, that'll never hold the sense
of, like, legitimacy there. So I totally agree.
You just have been accountability.
That's a really good point.
We'll be right back with more off-divine, grape therapy.
It's a little chico pit bull, Mr. 305, but it said, Mr. Worldwide, Amandito Gritiam Peres.
I had to use the real name.
Why? Because now it's the podcast, from negative to positive, which you can catch on Apple Podcasts, Podcast, Podcasts, Podcasts, and Spotify.
Flow to the Rider.
Woo!
I don't even know if you know how much they play you around the road or anywhere, my brother.
No matter how much bread we make, dog, you can't take it with us.
No matter how many houses, cars, whatever we acquire, can't take it with us.
With that said, anything we make is always to give back, dog.
Why are we starting a podcast?
Well, it's real simple.
With the times that we're living in right now in the world,
I think you need to be motivated, inspired,
educated, aware, positive.
So what I'm here is just to motivate the world
and let them know when we talk.
We call a spade to spade.
So you're going to hear the truth.
So I look forward to the podcast.
I look forward to showing y'all,
teaching y'all how to take it from a negative
to a positive.
So get ready.
From negative to positive,
which you can catch on Apple Podcast,
podcast, podcast one, and Spotify.
Now back to Off the Vine,
Great Therapy.
Would have been some of, like, the wildest 20-20 celeb stories you've come across this year?
Or, like, most memorable.
Oh.
Well, that's a good question.
Good.
I mean, we can go one in one.
I have to say, okay, I know I mentioned it earlier, but, like, I wish you could have been with us when the Kristen Cavalari J. Cutler News broke.
And let me clarify, for anybody who doesn't know, you know, they announced their divorce.
It wasn't so much that they were getting divorced.
I think anybody who watched the show wasn't floored by that.
It was more so the way that it came out, the fact that they were stranded in the Bahamas,
they get back from the Bahamas, literally the day they get back, the divorce is filed.
The statement is weirdly colds in a way.
And we just knew that there were so many unanswered questions.
And I think the curiosity of it was like overwhelming.
And so that's, I think, what we, like, that was probably one of the biggest, I feel like for us.
Yeah.
Yeah, that was a strange delivery.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Huh.
Interesting.
Okay.
What else?
Well, I just, at breaking news, I just got the people notification to my computer that
Lori Loughlin was sentenced to two months for the college admission scandal.
So there's a good.
No.
Really?
Yeah.
Just now?
Yeah.
Stop it.
So she has to go.
So she has to do time for two months?
Yeah.
It says, um, confess the one kind of conspiracy to commit wire.
male fraud. She's getting two months and her husband's getting five. She also will pay a $150,000 fine and
serve 150 hours of community service. 150 hours of community service. Wow. Is that like picking up
garbage on the side of the road? Something like that. Oh my gosh, Auntie Becky. What happened?
I'm just laughing because they had to do it over Zoom. Like it had to be a Zoom meeting. I was like,
what if you just like X out of the Zoom before you get your sentence? Like, oh,
Bad connection. Bye.
Okay.
Wait, wait.
I love you.
Okay.
Bye.
No, thank you.
That's crazy.
I thought to be today.
It was like, what if someone told you that in 2020, it was like five things?
Like Donald Trump would be president.
We'd be in the middle of a global pandemic and Aunt Becky would be in jail.
That, it like freaks me out for like what's to come.
I'm like, what the heck?
Like what else can happen?
I was talking to a psychic who predicts the future.
And he's like, he's like, mark my words, there are aliens coming in the next five years.
A lot of people say that.
I remember when we were on the show last time, you and I were talking about how we are both
very much like believers in the universe and spirituality and all that kind of stuff.
And if you look at, and I'm not honestly that well versed in it, but I've just kind of
perfectly been following it.
And apparently right now, the astrological aspects going on, like astrologers predicted this
time to be so wild because it's just, it's almost like uncharted to,
territory, I think, in a way. It's a lot of what I've been reading.
Is it going to be over?
Like, where do you get this information? I need to read up on it.
Oh, I'll send you some really good astrologers that I follow.
Oh, my gosh. That's crazy.
I mean, did they say when it's going to be over?
Okay, so I asked him. I said, like, when is this going to, you know, calm down?
He said, things are never really going to go back to, like, exactly how they
were, but it's going to start, like, being okay in 2021. Yeah, you know, I was thinking about that
a lot. I don't think, and who knows, obviously none of us know, but I think that if things went
back to the way that they were, we would all be doing ourselves a giant disservice. Like,
clearly something is going on here that had to stop us all in our tracks and be like,
something wasn't working. So clearly we need a reset. And so, like, I don't think that the goal is
to go back to, quote, normal. I think there's like, not to use the term so overused, but almost a new
normal in a way. I do think that there's, you know, I hope that this time made people recognize
certain priorities that maybe were lost. And that's not their fault. Like you, we all get so caught
up in the things that are going on. And then when those things are taken away, you really focus
in on like, wait, this is what actually matters for me. So true. That was my hope for, because I think
that's what brought Jason and I even closer together through a pandemic was you just, you're going
through something together and you're realizing like your whole, your whole, what is the word I'm
looking for perspective changes and into what's what's important and I feel like we both have
been really like focused on that and you know we're focusing more on like family time and quality
time with friends and being in the moment and like not taking certain things for granted like just
enjoying the little things so I think that's a good point I hope I hope that stays and I hope all
these like big movements that we're going through stay I which I think they will I actually love
you guys were really involved in the black lives matter movement because you know there's accounts
out there that are you know more like afraid maybe afraid's the wrong word but they're cautious to
change their feed or lose followers and i was just like how crazy is it to live in a time
where followers mean more to you than black lives like or like keeping you know your content
you know like you know what i mean it just it made me so sad but for the majority i think
people are doing you know a lot of people with a platform are doing what they should be doing
and i really respected that you guys were taking part in that too oh well thank you i mean i like we
would say you know i don't i don't feel like you are fortunate enough to have a platform that's what
you have to be doing this is i don't know people are you know it's normal to get caught up we all do
it's normal to get caught off and like want i'm wanting uh to grow your brand you know for us it's
obviously not personal. We're like behind the scene. We want the brand to grow. But when something
is going on in our country, like the tremendous racial inequality, you have to, if you have the
ability to say something, what are you doing by not? You know? I feel like people were just,
people were so scared to say something wrong. And that's where I learned like, who cares if you
say something wrong? You're saying something. You're learning. You're using your platform for things you
should be doing but I think people get scared that they aren't educated enough to say anything but
it's like that's not the point that's it's a movement and it's not the point about how much you know
it's about just saying something being involved yeah I mean 2020 what the heck okay we'll get back
to the podcast in a moment if you're like me and the majority of people out there stress and exhaustion
are pretty much your normal we're always so busy and on the go and we often forget to take time out
for ourselves and to focus on our wellness. You guys know I've been extremely busy lately and I've
been really getting into using CBD as a way to calm down and relax with everything that's going
on. It's just such an easy thing to incorporate into my day that truly does help, but I've tried
multiple CBD brands out there. And let me tell you, they're not all the same. It's important to know
what is in your products and the brand behind your CBD. Healus Naturals is a new 100% natural,
vegan and clean ingredient, CBD-based brand that truly works. I seriously feel like I might be an
expert now and I've got to say that this brand you need to try. One thing that makes Heelist
different from other CBD brands is that Heelist has taken the highest quality US-grown organic
CBD and blended it with other clinically tested natural ingredients that are known to work with your body
to help you find calm without the brain fog or help you fall asleep, stay asleep and wake up
without any of that morning groginess.
Like, for example, they're sleep drops.
They have lavender, camomile, and lemon balm essential oils to help you settle down for the night,
which is one of my favorite times to take the CBD after a long day.
So for a limited time, Heelist is offering a trial size of their bestselling calm and sleep drops for free.
It will last between 5 to 10 days depending on your personal dosage.
So head to Heelist naturals.com slash Vine to sign up and get your free sample today.
again that's he list naturals.com slash fine and last time last time we spoke you were
explaining which I really liked how you ask celebs sometimes before posting questionable comments
do you guys still have um do you still do that for people or have you changed that in the past
year no we've definitely still done that it's it's like I just feel like now especially
and Julie tell me if you agree with this and I think you will but
like now especially people are I think quicker to criticize than they ever were and so if anything
I feel like we're trying to be even more sensitive now to that of things that like previously may have
just been seen as a joke and still are but if you aren't the intended if you don't know the
celebrity you don't know their sense of humor you don't understand the background you may not
understand what's going on and I'm not even talking about something like offensive that's not what
I'm referring to I'm more so talking there's a lot of dynamics that you pick up on when you analyze social
media between different celebrities. And so if you don't know those, you don't understand that
like Chelsea Handler is joking with 50 cents because you don't know that they were in a relationship
previously, kind of thing. So we try to be even now more cautious about not painting someone
in a bad light unnecessarily. Is that accurate, Julie? Yeah, definitely. I think that, yeah,
I think that people are really quick to want to find things that are wrong with certain celebrities
or certain people.
I don't know if that's the culture
or if the, you know,
boredom of being in quarantine and alone
is just making people look for something to do,
but I think we've noticed that now
more than any other time.
So there are times where like
there's something that is like maybe questionable
or maybe like not great and we just won't,
it's not even like we'll ask and then post,
we just like won't even post
because it's easier to stay away.
Because people in our comment section,
I think most of them are like really like well-meaning,
but I think a lot of times
it like ends up going too far where they like attack a celebrity without really knowing the
backstory of what they're saying so you're to either like not included or make sure we give like
as much context as possible so that they understand like the joke there yeah yeah I see what you
you guys are it's so funny because like there's so many funny celebrity comments and things like
like Chrissy Teagan just never fails ever to make people laugh and say certain things but you
you too still seem like you stay so sweet and like with what you're doing like
I think it would, you know, it could go the other way where you're just like, I don't give a shit and like posting the most hilarious stuff.
But you guys care. And I think that's so sweet.
Thank you. I mean, I don't know. You know, we, one, I think it feels good when you feel like you're putting out that's, that's positive.
But also, Julie and I, like quite literally, our biggest fear is being famous individually.
We want the brand to be famous, but we don't want to be.
So I think we also put ourselves, like, we reject it. And I don't mean, I don't think necessarily in a bad way. I think we're like, oh my God, that would be my worst nightmare. If everybody was coming at me. This celebrity just like meant to be funny. It's literally our worst nightmare. Like I don't even like I say this all the time. And I, you know, you have built such a brand where I feel like people are really root for you. Of course, you have your haters. Everybody does. But like people root for you. They're excited about your relationship. They're excited about your new jobs. And that's like a beautiful and incredible thing. But even someone like you,
who I think is really well-liked, you're still going to have people that are so unnecessarily mean.
And I just, we just feel like it's not something we want to open ourselves up to.
So we try to be, I think, extra cautious because we're like, oh, my God, we can never do that.
Like, you know.
That's sweet.
I like that.
The other way I feel also is when celebrities comment and they're really good at commenting,
like, I don't want to, I never want to do anything that's going to make them stop commenting.
Like, I feel like we're so indebted to them because, like, we, there would be no comments by celos if we didn't have the comments by them.
So, like, I think we both really want celebrities to be able to comment and comment on things without feeling like we're out there to get them.
Because once it, once it, like, switches over to that kind of culture, then there's no reason to, like, have the account anymore because they're going to be too.
Yeah. No, it does not come across that way. It's, it's just always so lighthearted and hilarious and funny. And I think, I think people, like, want to try and get on there. Like, like, if they say something funny, they might be like, ooh, that could end up on comments by celebs.
That's what I think. I have a little.
a rapid fire name game for you guys. So I'm just going to name off some celebrities and you have to say
the first thing that comes to mind, okay? Okay. Okay. Okay. First one, Megan Fox.
Sexy. Totally. It's a good one. I'm like so caught up in the relationship drama. I don't even
know like I just like love triangle all in my head. I know. I saw you guys what or I thought of you guys
and then saw it on your page when they did that whole like you have my heart or whatever and he posted
about his kids saying you have my heart did you like that or was that too petty um i wasn't a fan
we spoke about this on the podcast and we were kind of saying like it's not so much about it being
petty for me it was more like i didn't like the insinuation that like just because she was happy
in her new relationship somehow insinuated anything about her kids like i felt like it should have
been kept separate yeah i agree i didn't like that he involved the kids yeah um okay
Adam Sandler
hilarious
Good guy
good guy
really
just like a good person
I love that
I love that I love Adam Sandler
I've always been a fan
yeah we've heard the best
I've never met him but we've just heard the best things about him
from so many people
I'm like I love that
Haley Bieber
I like I don't have one word
I have a million words
all good I love her so much
much love her like if i could be one person i would take her life in a heartbeat yeah i'll husband
i have a huge crush on justin bieber so yeah yeah i was gonna say gold hoops because i just
always associate her with those gold hoops i love her she's always julie and i always say like
her styles are number one in terms of oh it's everything it's everything um lindsay lohan
you know what spontaneous i'll say that this scroll comments you will never know you'll be
scrolling some random picture, and the next thing you know, it's a Lindsay Lohan, five random
emojis. And I'm like, I know that you just woke up, saw this post, and decided to throw
these emojis at it. And I appreciate and respect your commitment to spontaneity and not
thinking too much into it. He's been active with her Twitter likes recently, too.
Yeah. Like that one tweet that was like, um, Lindsay Lohan's fake band and Freaky Friday
didn't have to go that hard. Like, I only saw it because she liked it. Oh my gosh. That's
amazing um okay chloe Kardashian oh like heartbreak over the fact that i think that she is back
with tristan which respect her decision want her to be happy but can't fathom it for the life
of me yeah i know i don't know i guess i could fathom it
i mean you just never know with the Kardashians i'm like are they actually are they
actually together yeah you really do never know no you don't know although i got to
And those pictures of them from the airport at LAX with his hands around her when there
wasn't, they didn't know they were being paparazzi.
It was one of those moments where you could tell it was just like an automatic reaction.
And I just, I don't know, just seemed a little bit like they're having sex to me.
Oh, yeah, yeah, I could see that.
Ryan Reynolds.
Good comments.
Yeah, witty.
Very witty.
That's true.
Gwyneth Paltrow.
Mims.
Yeah.
memes she loves a great meme comment oh that's hilarious um jennifer anison oh god it
yeah that was going to be mine too she is she's just perfect i love her so much
we we never even wait katelyn we never even oh my god what you're when she joined i think it was
what when she joined instagram really or no it was the it wasn't when she joined it was the
joined. It was the Ross one.
It was the one with
first joined. It was like one of
the second comments that we posted of her
joining Instagram.
Okay. So for anybody
who doesn't know, basically
there was a conference, there was a Jennifer
Anderson post and we were literally sitting there
praying for a comment and you came through
with the comment saying like, but were they
on a break or something like that? And I forget exactly
her response. We were like, oh my God,
Caitlin, thank you. I love you.
We can now post this. We posted it. It went viral.
you posted it but we were sitting there like we were literally like I do not understand this is the best post any celebrity could come through right now and nobody's coming through and then you came through you gave us the opening she responded we were literally singing hallelujah so thank you have to call it yeah I died I freaking died when she because I'm like like she has however many comments like so many actual celebrities follow her and never in a million years did I think she'd ever respond to me
but I just said something like, but where's Ross or, but are Ross and Rachel still?
Oh, do you have it?
Yeah, it's, it was on the first selfie that she posted and you commented, are you and Ross still
together?
And she responded, well, we're on a break.
Ah, ha, ha, so good.
It's so good.
I literally said there was no, uh, no going up from there.
Like, that was my peak and that was my happiest moment in life until dancing with the stars.
Congratulations.
I was just so, like, beside myself.
I still think about that sometimes just to fall asleep at night.
Okay, today's episode of Off the Vine is brought to you by Seedlip,
the original distilled non-alcoholic spirits that are delivered right to your door.
Thank you, not trying to leave my house.
Made from globally sourced botanical ingredients, seed lip offers three variants for you to try.
There's aromatic spice 94, herbal garden 108, and Citrus Grove 42.
All three variants are without alcohol, calories, or sugar.
These flavors make crafty non-alcoholic cocktails at home so simple and easy, not to mention absolutely delicious too.
You can simply top two ounces of your preferred beverage with a premium mixer or test your bartending skills to make a more elevated drink.
Okay, so personally, I've been finding my inspiration from the cocktail section of their website.
I am on a couple painkillers right now for my ankle, so this is perfect for me.
They have so many fun drinks like an espresso martini, margarita, spice mule, and even a cold brew.
You're going to feel like an absolute pro once you make some of these, even though they're super simple.
I mean, we all know I love having a drink, but sometimes with early morning rehearsals or like I said earlier right now being on painkillers, it's not the best idea.
This makes me feel very sophisticated and I get to drink something refreshing and delicious without any of the consequences that come with having a couple drinks.
Seedlip enables you to have an evening drink any night of the week.
no hangover or buzz necessary, and you can get them conveniently delivered direct to your door from

but just so everybody can like take note right now all at once, name all of the things you guys
have going on. Okay. So we have, of course, our main page, comments by celebs. And then we have
our podcast, which is the same name, comments by celebs.
And anybody who's never listened before, on Monday, we basically do a giant pop culture
breakdown that includes a Bravo, debrief, Kardashian recap, all the stories.
We also do an award ceremony where we shout up the funniest comment, the best clapback.
And then on Thursdays, we do our Kardashian bonus show.
So in season, we recap the previous nights keeping up.
We just like dissected and analyzed and literally transcribe the episode.
And right now we've been going back to season two.
in recapping old episodes.
And then we have comments by Bravo,
comments by athletes,
comments by Batchelor,
comments with TikTok influencers.
I don't know,
a lot of comments.
And that's kind of what we have.
That's your thing.
And you guys never want to take pictures
after podcasts or do anything
because you like,
like you said earlier,
you like to kind of fly under the radar
and have your accounts be,
you know,
the ones that blow up.
And I think that's so cool.
How fun is that to be like the faces behind it
that nobody knows?
it's like thank you it's the best thing ever i don't i just a lot of people ask you're like oh
when you get to a certain amount like you guys are going to make your profiles public right and have a
whole persona we're like no no no you don't understand this is this is it we're not in it for some
sort of a long game like it's my dream to just i leave my house in i mean you would not imagine
what i look like and i just would never ever want to be recognized ever so to be able to not
it's just incredible that's so funny because some people
would dream for that but then once they have it they'd be like I want to go back to normal I want
to go back to normal so good for you guys for knowing that's not what you want um well I just I love
everything you guys are doing you're such sweet freaking angels too at the same time so thank you so much
for being on the podcast and um keep up the good work because you're my favorite account to follow
on social media thank you thank you we love you can I wanted to can I take the picture of you
for our story I'll send it to you first you look so pretty great yeah I swear
Are you? Yes, you do. And I think people would be excited. I won't post it without your permission, but I want to. Oh, you can post it. That's totally fine. Wait, that's so nice of you. Can I hold up my coffee? Yeah, it doesn't she look cute, Julie? Oh, cute. Yes.
What? I love it. Okay. Yay.
That's so funny. I literally, okay, this is my trick. I woke up this morning and when I rolled out of, like, I'm still in what I slept in. And because I'm like on this weird time change from being in national.
to L.A., and I went to bed really late, and then I was up at, like, six this morning,
and then I went back to bed. So I rolled out of bed at, like, 11, and then had my little
run-in with Kanye, and I came up, and I just put on this, like, it's a shimmer sunscreen
that just, like, it's like the perfect sunscreen. It's by color science. It's amazing. I swear,
it just makes your skin, like, even and glowy. Thank you. See, sweet angels. You're sweet
Angels. Well, thank you so much. And then, you know what, a year from today, let's do it again.
Yes. We're having you on our stove. We love you. Thank you. I would love to. Thank you guys so
much. And we'll talk soon. Bye. Bye. I'm Caitlin Bristow. Your session is now ending.
