So, welcome to either off the mind or great therapy. We aren't sure which day this is going to be on yet. So either happy Tuesday or happy Thursday. Yeah. I never know what day in the week it is, do you?

No. Yes. Well, yeah, because you guys are counting down Friday. To Christmas. But you want to know when it's Friday. So you're probably like, oh, it's Monday. I'm not Tuesday today. That's good.

I didn't. And I think that's the right kind of mentality. I just got Friday energy, weekend energy all the time. Anyways, I want to know what is your favorite part about, the holidays. Like what holiday? Like any holiday or Christmas? Christmas. Oh, uh, probably spending time with family. And opening presents. Well, yes. Priorities, though, family time first, present second. Food. And food third. Okay. What did you ask for for Christmas? This year? A PC. What? A PC, personal computers. Like one of those big things. Oh, okay. Is that to play games or do you homework? Both. Okay. He's not going to do one. I swear I don't. Okay. I believe you. And like small things like hats.

Okay, Sid, what's your favorite part about the holidays? The food. The first above family? Oh yeah, family too, but like the food is something part of it. What's your favorite food to eat at the Christmas time? Mashed potatoes. Do you have any old memories of us as a family that are some of your first memories around the holidays? Or Christmas.

My favorite memory. Oh, I remember we all decorated the tree when we were living with Emma and Papa. Yeah. And Papa lifting me, you have to put the star on. And then he dropped me. He was coming to put me down and he accidentally missed my foot

and I kind of fell. I don't. It explains a lot. Wait, that's so... Why do I keep... I just black out of the bad thing. He fell everything ever you had something bad and I'm like, I remember you putting the tree on the top.

I don't remember you getting dropped on your head. Did I say tree? The tree on your top? Star! I don't remember the star. I don't remember the star. I don't remember any any dropping your head. Is there any tree on the top? traditions that we have as a family that you like to do.

We like to play games. We're a big cards family. Big cards. We love cards. We love games. We never really get to you. I'm just going to cry now. Depress.

Every time I'm hungry, I don't grab anything healthy. That's a bad habit of mine. Okay. Well, I think we all have that bad habit. Yeah. There's an Instagram account called Eating in Color and it's a really cool perspective on eating because you can still eat the junk. Yeah.

You can still eat whatever you want. about what fuels your body and what makes you feel good. And eating breakfast. Holy moly. And junk doesn't always make us feel good, but it may be at the moment. So you just, you know, prioritize the things that fuel your body. Yeah. So that's good.

Okay, we're going to prioritize what fuels us. And what else? You have a goal with cheer. You're a really good cheerleader. A sepper! No, we don't do that. Don't do that. Well, they do in the movies, so I thought if you see some movies or movies.

Must be real life. There's actually some movies that are based on real things. That's true. Some movies are based on real life stories. Exactly. Another goal is I want to get all my certifications for coaching. And get your driver's license. Nope, no, we're not talking about.

Sidney driving a car. No. How are you old enough? He's going to need a car seat. It's your sweet 16th birthday. So, like soon, like in a week and a half. So what? I do the math.

Okay. 13 days. 13 days. Bro, your big mascot. What do you want to do for your 16th birthday? Okay, so I'm supposed to act surprised for this, but I know my surprise already. I already know my surprise. Okay, what is it?

Mom's getting me a limo. No, not to drive, not to drive. I know. Obviously. Not to drive, not to drive. And then I'm gonna, she's gonna invite some of my friends, and then we're gonna go to Earls, and then we're gonna go to their back room. Am I coming? No.

I did not forget to walk me. Yes, you did. I did not forget. I actually was really looking forward to it last night and I was like, we're gonna go get hot chocolates and get a drink and I set my alarm for 7.30 in the morning and I even double checked it because sometimes I do PM instead of AM

and then I woke up this morning all bright eye, bushytail and I was like, why am I waking up naturally so early? And then I looked at the clock and I said, oh, Shish gabs. You did say. I said shish kebabs. I said, Shikabobes. I said, Chicago.

I said no. Shosh and redemption. I'm just quoting Ace Ventura that you guys think I'm funny, but I'm really just quoting a movie. But I really was upset with myself to do that, so I apologize. I don't care if you have a flight. Oh, okay, tomorrow I can actually. Okay, so we tried to do this podcast yesterday. But emotions get in the way.

Let's talk about it. That's not talk about that. We don't have to bring up anything specific. But I think during the holidays or in life, we all get very overwhelmed. And sometimes we don't know how to control our emotions. I do it. You do it. Bless your little cotton socks.

You do it too. We all do it even as adults. So what do you think it is that we need to learn about feelings? Do you think in the moment where everything's going so much and we go, well, now I'm upset about my friends and I'm upset about my grades and I'm upset about this and I'm upset about this. Why are you quoting what I said yesterday? No. You're quoting what I said yesterday. I feel like this is very understandable and very relatable.

We all get very overwhelmed. Do you think in that moment you were upset at anything else and it was just all coming out or is it just like the stress of being 15? Because you couldn't pay me to go back to being 15 years on the tar. I'm serious. A 15-year-old female hormones? Not it. You didn't have to put taxes, probably. Probably.

I mean, always look on the brides. I don't like, do-do. Okay, that's enough. That's not. Oh my god, I am my mother. I am your grandmother. Yes. Turn everything into a song.

Okay. But what do you think, even as children or adults, what do you think we need in the moment when we want to scream and yell and cry? What do you think? No, but I mean, it's hard to. Sometimes your emotions are stronger than you. No, and I believe you, because I have those moments

too where I can't control them. But what do you think we do in those moments when we can't control them? Like do you think deep breaths help? Do you think of meditation? Do you think writing things down? Take a shot. Brody!

they talked to you about, like, dissecting frog. They talk to you about, like, the perimeters of some bullshit shish-sh-sh-bop. Do they ever talk to you about anxiety about feelings in school? No. And then it's a start of the year for health, but for, like, two lessons I did. I've never been taught about anxiety or anything. Like, never. Do you think you have resources, whether it be a podcast or a meditation or a TV show,

you like to watch or a YouTube channel that helps you with anxiety or emotions? I play games. Okay. That's it? I call my boyfriend and rant. They're just yell. Well maybe that's something we could look into is some other things that we can do that help us express our emotions. Okay, juicy stuff. It's good.

Finally! Fun part. Brody, do you have a girlfriend? No. Do you have a crush on your girl? No. What about... Elsa?

I'm just trying to guess girls Maybe your schools I just mean it's like the Disney character Who's a girl in his school day? Oh I have no idea I couldn't tell you. Somebody told me you brought two girls home for lunch the other day

And then, no, and then we were both in BC at the exact same time. Yeah. And I looked on snap maps. I don't hate it, but okay. And I stalked him, because I, I stalked people. That's not in July. Um, and then I saw it. He was like 15 minutes.

15 minutes away, so I made a bold move, dude. I texted him. Oh, you didn't! Yes, I did. You texted when you said, I'm 15 minutes away from you, I stopped you on Snapchat. I want to go to date? It is not what I said.

No. And then I said, oh, I don't even remember what I said. Oh, my good, you can go back and hide it. No, I didn't see it. Okay. Well, I just had to hang up, really. And then you guys hung up with my mom. No, where was that?

No, I'm not. Just calm down. Just. Just sit down and relax. Maybe I need to take the deep brother and grab some popcorn. Okay. And then he said yes and to bring Brody.

I'm like, we're not Raymond. How do you know me? Well, he said to bring you so that his brother and you can hang out. Like, that is not happening. No. Okay. But I didn't. Okay.

The next day, me and Papa, see-dood. Is it Cidoo or Skidoo? Seedoo. Seedoo. Because you're on the sea, on the water. Not skeed, because you'd be in the mouth. Not skied. So we seeded the 15 minutes when we got lost.

It's fine. And Papa almost still off the back. Classic Papa. Yeah. And then I got there and I brought his mom a bottle of wine because I had to be a good impression. It was. It was the Rose one.

Yep. Yes. And then we hung out on the water for like seven hours. Did you kiss? No. Oh. They wanted to. We were not there yet.

And then we had a sleepover. Bam! Okay, it was 10 o'clock at night, we just finished eating. And I'm like, he's like, do I want to stay over? I'm like, well, obviously I do. So we, at like 11 o'clock, nothing happened, I promise. At 11 o'clock, we went outside, we went outside and sat on the dock.

Okay. And watched the stars. No, we weren't even eating yet? No, we weren't. And watched the stars and ate snacks. At this time, I was starving, but I don't want to seem like a knee. A pig.

Yeah, a pig. So I didn't, so I didn't really eat. That's silly. Would you want me to, if I went on a date with the guy, would you want me to not eat because I don't want to see him a certain way? I'm gonna show, I'm gonna eat wings. I'm gonna get sauce all over my face,

and I'm gonna show them, what's up? The next day, we woke up. We fell asleep while, watch something really weird. He was on the couch with his brother and I was on the floor. Okay, okay, great. We woke up to like an elephant. It was.

An elephant? Yeah, I think, premium man on the TV oh got it okay like in telephonic like in desert it was whack mom and Ammon all them picked us up from his house and we went on the boat for the day and then we went back to Ammon Papa's house went out for a supper and then he slept over you guys really moved quickly but you had adult supervision yes I was there okay Brody was there so not adults but but then Brody and Josh fell asleep uh-oh this is where I'm I see it.

And then we cuddled on the couch. And not even going to lie, I was scared to have my first kiss. So I pushed into the other coach because I was scared. Like, I don't know. I just didn't. I know after that we talked and he wanted to kiss either. Like we wanted to wait. But at the time, my anxiety just got ahead of me.

And I was just scared. Now, you need to learn how to control it. I'm not control. Understand. Understand. He had to go home. So his mom had to come up on the way home and stuff. So you never had a first kiss, till when the next day?

Until we got back, until he got back. And then he asked to be his girlfriend. And then... I love that you don't mind, that's nice. You want her to be happy. And then he asked him to be his girlfriend. Well, he didn't really ask me. It was like...

Yeah. But he like did ask me, but I was acting really dumb. You could even ask him. I was acting. You weren't. Don't talk about yourself that way. You were acting not smart. You were acting like flirty and like...

Yes, exactly. But then we just started dating. Okay, but anyways, you kissed. Like later when I got back. So what made you get to... I want to get to the promise ring. So you met. You really liked each other.

Lime wire. A what? Wow. Oh! A wire that's lime color. Oh! You put it around your drink and when you sip it tastes like lime. Like, that's because it's a wire and it goes around.

It was a definitely illegal way to download music when we were there. Oh. We didn't have things like Apple Music. Aim or MSN. A TV network. No. Uh... Mountain Standard Time.
