Starting point is 00:01:38 therapy. It's your pal Kate. Oh, that was kind of aggressive. I kind of sounded like your pee. Who's pee? When you pee in the middle of night and it's so loud. Welcome to your session I just I feel like I just came out of my session with my therapist So I'm feeling all therapists like today Nice this is my first session of therapy for the day So I'm excited Okay well I'm here for you Sean B
Starting point is 00:02:09 Sometimes just hearing words of encouragement can help you You know I was at a boot camp class this morning And I said this on my Instagram story So sorry for repeating my content but the instructor said, how bad do you want it when we were doing something? And I was like, to be honest, like, I don't want it that bad. I said that.
Starting point is 00:02:31 He was like, oh, that's not what I was looking for. It's tough. Even me as a personal trainer or somebody who works out a lot, when somebody asks me that question in a class, I don't yell because I'm so focused on working out and I'm working so hard. I find it so weird when, like, a few girls in the class today, like, they'd be working out. And all of a sudden they'd be like, whoa, come on, guys.
Starting point is 00:02:54 And I'm like, what? Who is that enthusiastic about near-death experience? I like it, though. I like the enthusiasm. Do you? I don't. I love that. If I'm teaching a class, I want that and do the enthusiasm.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Enthuthiathom? That's a tough word. It is a tough one. You got through it. But yeah, I said out loud. I was like, you know what? I honestly don't want it. I had a pretty good class overall.
Starting point is 00:03:16 It's the end of the hour. I'm good, thanks. It's pretty funny. So what I'm basically saying is I'm here to tell you that it's Thursday, and if you want to just quit now, do it. You know, screw Fridays. F it. Yeah, Thursday is the weekend, officially.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Yeah. So there you go. You know, I wanted to give up in the last five minutes of class, and I did. You actually gave up. A little bit. Classic. Well, okay, weekends almost here are coming up on the Bachelor Recap. We do hometowns.
Starting point is 00:03:49 We've got Sean B, obviously. in, I was going to say studio, but it's our bedroom. And we've got advice with Sean B. Since everybody seemed to think Sean has good life advice. And we've got... Who thinks that? Apparently the Twatters. Jeez.
Starting point is 00:04:04 And towards the end of the podcast, we're going to have Tia on. So that's exciting stuff. Absolutely. Big family interview. Sean's convinced that they're long-lost cousins. We are. Booth isn't like a crazy last name like that's unheard of it. How many booths have you met in your entire life?
Starting point is 00:04:19 How many booths are in your family? What do you mean? How many booths are in your family? I don't know. Like, there's not that many booths out there. But how many are in your family? My immediate family. There's five of us.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Okay, I've met five booths. Exactly. Exactly. And you're a well-traveled lady who has been all over the world and you've only met now to sets of booths. No, I feel like I've met booths before. Never. I don't know. I don't know why I feel like I have.
Starting point is 00:04:45 But anyways. So hometowns, we have Kendall, Tia, Becca, and Lauren B. So at Kendall's hometown, we meet her stuffed animals. Stuffed animals sounds so cute and innocent, but we all know what I mean by stuffed animals. They end up stuffing their own taxidermy during the romantic one-on-one time. Nothing says romance like stuffing a dead animal. How do you feel about taxidermy? I just watched a docu-menary the other nights.
Starting point is 00:05:15 That's one word. It's not hyphenated. It sounds sophisticated to you. So I'm not a big hunter. I'm not a big hunting guy. I love the animals. And I don't like trophies as people hunting for trophies. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:34 She's not a hunter. She just appreciates the beauty of the animals, I think. So she doesn't hunt anything. She just does that work. Like, that's her job. So people will bring in the animals and she does a taxidermy for a client. I don't think it's her job. I think she finds passion in taxidermy where she thinks animals are beautiful.
Starting point is 00:05:49 I don't think she finds it like morbid or right if you think they're beautiful but they're more beautiful when they're living I agree completely agree I understand everyone has their own passions in life but yeah I can't get behind the taxidermy but I respect her so I respect it seems awesome yep and I'll use my favorite saying good for her not for me yeah I love that same that's what they say thanks Bree for that one and then of course she compares taxidermy to falling in love. Of course. A nice line from the producers, I bet. What do you think she says? How is falling in love like taxidermy? Uh, you fall in love when somebody, they suck the soul right out of you. You're basically dead until they stuck you. Whoa. That was dark. It's like stuffing you and hanging you on
Starting point is 00:06:35 the wall. Okay. Now I'm insulted. Is that what she said? No, basically that it lasts. It's something that lasts forever. Oh, a little more romantic than, a little off. Gosh, I am. I don't even know what to say right now And that's a rare thing Ari keeps saying quirky No, he keeps saying corky instead of quirky Is it quirky or quirky? Quarky
Starting point is 00:06:59 Quarky What? Corky. Corky. Corky? Yeah, like she's spelled quirky. She's a quirky girl. He keeps saying quirky.
Starting point is 00:07:07 As in what? She's a quirky girl. Oh yeah, quirky. But now I'm just questioning... Corky is a pig. I'm questioning my whole life because I've always been called quirky and now I'm like, am I quirky?
Starting point is 00:07:17 Quarky. quirky. Quirky. Yeah. Corky's the pig. Oh. Okay. So she's quirky.
Starting point is 00:07:24 And if you listen carefully, each woman and Ari will always say what I hope for on dates. And my biggest fear, so then they can pick. If things go bad, it'd be like, my biggest fear is blah, blah, blah. And then if it comes to, you know. Anyways, that's another thing just for me to put in your heads. Just for the storyline. Give away all the secrets. I know.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I just need to shut up. So we meet Kendall's family. Sean and I instantly notice that no one acknowledged the dog. The dog was not introduced. That was the first thing that I looked for. I saw the dog come across the screen and... Yeah, I want to know more about the dog. What's his name?
Starting point is 00:08:01 Yeah, what is his name? I can't believe they didn't show. Ari pet the dog? Is he a dog... Ari looks like a cat guy. I'm going to throw that out there. What does a cat guy look like? Ari.
Starting point is 00:08:13 What makes somebody look like a cat guy and a dog guy? He just seems like a cat guy. guy to me. Two hands in the pockets means he's a big cat guy? Right. One hand in the pocket, dog guy. Absolutely. Okay. Well, I always love the dads in these situations because, first of all, I feel like
Starting point is 00:08:28 you know, the American dad, like they're so different from my dad though. I love all these dads. The dads are the best part. But they're so opposite of my dad. I know. I feel like they're all like, my baby girl, don't hurt her, I'll kill you. And my dad's like, so let me get to know you, let me understand
Starting point is 00:08:44 you, support everything you have to say. Yeah, your dad's incredible. But like we were saying during the show is we feel so bad for the family members that have to get involved with this. It's like they didn't ask for it. Their daughter or son signed up for this ridiculously insane concept of a show. And then you're all in a sudden your families are just there in it. Yeah, and then they don't even know how it's going. You don't talk to them for about nine or ten weeks.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Then you get a call from ABC saying, hey, we're coming to your town. We're going to invade your house. and then they're on camera in front of millions of people in this insane situation. So shout out to all the families and especially the dads because there's no, if I was, if my daughter came home with a guy from the bachelor. What? Yeah, just being like a normal person, like all these dads were awesome. I loved all of them.
Starting point is 00:09:36 They were all like raising. But wouldn't you trust your daughter? Exactly. That's what they all said too. They were all like, you know, this is very weird. and I don't know about this, but ultimately I love my daughter so much, and I trust in her opinion. So whatever she's, whatever makes her happy, I'm happy.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Yeah. But it's a weird freaking concept. I know. I feel bad for the families. Every family involved I always do. Even if they're great about it, like I'm still like, oh, that's so tough for a family. And then you're blasted. Like, people will find you on social media, and if they don't like you, they'll tell
Starting point is 00:10:06 you, and you're like, wait, I didn't sign up for this. Yeah, and then they'll edit them too. It was like my dad, my dad, um, when, we had our hometown and the most laid back guy of all times laid back and I finally got a little long time with him one-on-one and then
Starting point is 00:10:22 he sits down and he's laughing and goes what the hell is going on and he starts cracking up we're laughing and then of course the previews the show yeah they just show that and everybody's like oh man he's not happy that's true these dads are probably the biggest gems
Starting point is 00:10:37 so Kendall has a twin sister just as gorgeous and intelligent as Kendall I could listen to those twin sisters talk all day. She had such a good question. So when Ari said he was falling for Kendall, Kendall said she just felt the urge to kiss him, which is a big part of the season, not much conversation and were this far along,
Starting point is 00:10:57 and conversations seemed to always be distracted, distracted by a kissing. So her sister said, so did you kiss him to rush the moment? I was like, oh, these sisters are deep. But she was right. In this, it's a rushed environment. everything about the shows and relationships are rushed.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Yeah. So I just feel like in these moments, yeah, everything's rushed. And I'm not sure Kendall has really taken a step back and be like, wait, what do I feel about this guy? Because it's like, is it just because he's The Bachelor that he seems so enticing? I'm sure. That's a big part of it. I'm just, so film me on this whole kissing thing because that was the first full episode I've watched from start to finish. I don't know if I'm just noticing it.
Starting point is 00:11:39 And I don't know. I just feel like. No, but that was the first episode I watched and I was just like, wow, there's a ton of kissing. And it's like the conversations that they have. It's always just like, mm, oh, this is so nice. And then make it out. And then it's like, oh, I'm falling for you. Ooh, that's so nice.
Starting point is 00:11:55 But is ABC just like playing that up? I know, I don't know. He's a kissing ban it. So that's like trying to be the thing this season. Because there could be so much more conversation we're missing out on. Either way, it's very uncomfortable. Yeah. I think all people in the.
Starting point is 00:12:09 the situation do that like but that's all we're seeing but it's not yeah i get the people that are in the situation doing the kissing because you're in the moment you don't care about the cameras but from everybody else watching it's like okay that's a lot of kissing yeah and her sister's like do you look that like is this undeniable love because like to me i you know the feeling if it's this like undeniable thing and also we were talking about this earlier i have it in my notes to say that i'm so glad i only met too for the same reason that doing this to all these families Yeah, because he's going into these final four knowing that he's going to be... Exactly.
Starting point is 00:12:44 He might know that two of them. That he really cares about two of them. That's what I said. Meeting two of the families is still overwhelming, but he probably already knows he won't see two families again. So you have to sit there and bring this family's emotions into it knowing you're going to hurt these women, but telling them all like, no, I'm not going to hurt them. And I'm falling for your daughter, but really you're like, oh my gosh, three families. are going to be really disappointed at the end of this, which sucks.
Starting point is 00:13:12 What's he going to say? The dad asks, well, are you really falling for my daughter? Do you see this working? You can't be like, no? What is he going to say? No, I just have to do this because it's the format of the show. Yeah, exactly, exactly. So I do feel for Ari in the hometowns.
Starting point is 00:13:24 P.S. Kendall's twin name is Kylie. Did you notice that, Kendall and Kylie? Oh, nice. Nice? Cool. Okay. I just felt the need to address that. We can move on.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Cool, beans. So the end of the date, do I see a connection? Yes. does it seem like undeniable love no i'm saying this right looking from the outside in out of all four dates out of the whole entire episode i did not leave going oh yeah there is a really strong connection between those two me either so tia's hometown finally we get a glimpse into weiner weiner arkansas that's right welcome to weiner population 716 people was it said it on the side yeah i haven't been there for last family reunion was about 12 years ago, so it's been a while. It's funny that
Starting point is 00:14:11 Tia doesn't remember these family reunions. She was young. Oh yeah, she's so much younger than you. I love it. I love small towns. I love people from small towns. Maybe I'm a little biased, but I just love that there's nothing to do in Wiener, so they're like, let's make Ari look good and go racing. Yeah, that's perfect. Let's do something that Ari loves to do. A great moves Tia, too. Like, hey, let's make him feel comfortable. Little things make me think that she's going to be the Bachelorette, though, because he keeps. saying she's the full package, the total package. They're giving her the fun, playful
Starting point is 00:14:41 edit, but she has a history of dating douche lords, so we, like, all are rooting for her to find, like, a good guy. Yeah. It was still, like, a hint of being America's sweetheart, but, like, with some sass. Little edgy. Right, because they're showing her swearing. Uh, Tia's
Starting point is 00:14:57 dad, what was his name? Ken. Uncle Ken. Uncle Ken was great. He says, airy. Oh, that's the best. That's the best part of the episode. And Sean and I were like, oh, well, we're calling him Airy from now on. This is hilarious.
Starting point is 00:15:11 We have, there's a guy about to meet him with his daughter and asked for his hand in marriage and he doesn't even know how to say his name. That's just a classic. That shows how ridiculous to show is. Yeah, exactly. And Tia's brother sits down and talks about the weather first member. God, I hate Weather Talk. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:26 He's like, so it's pretty windy out. I'm like, oh no. He was great. He jumped from Weather Talk to like, hey, I heard you are a playboy. Yeah. Like just wanting to be the tough brother. Then Ari's like, oh, yeah, well, you know, I was single for a few years and traveled and... He's a smooth, polished politician, that area guy. He knows what to say.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Weren't you a little bit of a playboy when you were single for a few years? Yeah, I'm just saying, like, of course, like... Yeah, so he, that's what he said to him. Oh, Tucker, look who decides to join the party! Hey, buddy, speaking of Playboys, Bachelor of going on 11 years right here. Tucky. Coming in hot. How did he take him this long to be in the... the same ring as us. Hi, Bob.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Well, yeah, the brother asked the right, hard-hitting questions, and Ari answered them great, and then they were... It's like he knows. We could have conversation, and he'll just sit here quietly, but it's like he knows there's something... Yeah. So weird. What were you saying?
Starting point is 00:16:28 I was saying that the brother asked the great, hard-hitting questions that the brother should, and Ari answered them perfectly, and then all of a sudden it was like, all right, everything's cool. Right. Yeah. And her dad said the same thing. He's like, I heard you're a playboy.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Yeah, that's like the term they're using. Obviously from like tab boys. I'm like, so you Googled him. Yeah. But I will say Tia, if she's going to be The Bachelor, she does need to raise the romance bar. It's clear she doesn't have the best ex-boyfriends. When they were leaving her family, she was like,
Starting point is 00:16:59 you know, he held my hand in front of my family. I'm like, oh, the bar is officially on the ground, Tia. It's on the ground. needs to be raised That's right You gotta start somewhere Well yeah But it's just clear that she doesn't have the best ex-boyfriends
Starting point is 00:17:14 Holding hands in a relationship Who does? That's why their ex is No We both have nice things to say about ours Yes But holding hands in a relationship Should just be like Drinking water
Starting point is 00:17:26 You just do it Actually I hate what I don't like drinking water Yeah you need to drink more water Anyways Also if she is the next batch right, you know we're going to have another bad chat on because she'll be attracted to that one and then he'll
Starting point is 00:17:41 last longer and he'll be the drama of the season. Can't wait for it. So overall, Tia's hometown? Tia's hometown was solid undeniable love? No. Cute, flirty
Starting point is 00:17:57 thing going on? Yes. Yeah, I think it was a perfect hometown date. It was like a, because I love the small town feel. I love that. It wasn't over the top with all these theatrics it was just perfect and it's like here's my hometown a small cozy place and here's my home town do a quick 30 second lap and you've seen it and here's my family yeah so that's i thought that was perfect and next our favorite hometown minasota minnesota i'm sure do you think
Starting point is 00:18:26 she rolls her eyes of people who say it like that like people saying Canada eh Minnesota i always just think of how to make a murder not how to make a murder making a murder when he's like what Brennan, and the mom's like, well, did you do it or not, Brennan? Minnesota. Was that a little Rick Minnesota accent? Oh, was it? I was trying to be Brennan's mom. Anyways. What was I saying about this? Oh. Oh, don't you? Okay, the running and the jumping into the arms.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Every girl has done it. And I'm like, they don't tell you to do that. Yeah, I know, because you didn't with me. Yeah, because I hate that. I thought it was so stooped. Well, you said you thought that I was going to run up to you And then you were And that's classic Caitlin and Sean Both being stubborn I was like
Starting point is 00:19:13 I was like he better run to me And you're like Why isn't she running to me? So we just slowly awkwardly walk up to each other I just hate it But I'm just over the girls running And jumping in the swinging I'm like oh god
Starting point is 00:19:26 Can't we do like Let's find something else to do You know Next time maybe like do like a weird skip Into like a chest bump Yeah Switch it up What's up?
Starting point is 00:19:37 What's up, man? Anyways, what else did you in Minnesota other than pick apples and eat them and continue to give me misophonia? The apple crunching? The apple-picking was hilarious. I just felt like it set us back a few generations. It was like, you got the good-looking man at the top of the tree. No, it was her at the top of the tree. He was catching.
Starting point is 00:19:56 No, he was on the top of the tree. He was tossing them down. And she was catching them. They're carving their initials in the tree. Oh, boy. Classic romance right there. no how none of them said neither one of them said i like them apples is beyond me i said it yeah that landed with you that did uh uncle gary i had high hopes for uncle gary and let me tell you same here he delivered
Starting point is 00:20:22 he was great he delivered that guy is terrifying a hard ass yet soft and protective he is he's like everything you'd want in an uncle gary yeah he was great beck's family is a bit skeptical um As they should. I really liked, is Becca the one with Uncle Gary? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, Uncle Gary was great.
Starting point is 00:20:44 I want a T-shirt with Uncle Gary's face on it. Ooh, great idea. Yeah. And what would his slogan be? What did he say? No, I went with Uncle Ken saying, Erie. Okay, and then I'll get one with Uncle Gary on it,
Starting point is 00:20:57 and it'll say... But I love all the dads and uncles, because then even Lauren B's dad. Mm-hmm. And he was, what, a veteran, right? But he was a badass, too. Yeah, it's... We'll start a clothing line with all the dads.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Yeah, that's a good idea. Okay. Wait, we can't say that. People are going to steal our idea. Yeah, they are. Remember that Minnesota shirt that I have when there's... I said it had like a duck on it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:25 And everyone freaked out. All the Minnesotans were like, it's a loon. They were, like, offended. Yeah. But Uncle Gary even talked about carved ducks. And I was like, those are loons, Uncle Gary. Were they? I don't know
Starting point is 00:21:37 That's just where my Mine went Oh, good boy Good boy He's like the size of the bathroom Anyways Uncle Gary Best part of that hometown
Starting point is 00:21:48 Becca's Group or group date Hometown date overall Undeniable love No No No Super hard crush
Starting point is 00:21:57 Also no Yeah I can't tell I don't see it I don't see it I don't see it between those two Sean Caitlin
Starting point is 00:22:05 How many La Croy's have I been crushing lately? Quite a lot because every time you have one, you ask me to go out to the garage and grab you want. Oh, I'm sorry. Am I inconveniencing you? Nope, get my steps up. Cool.

Starting point is 00:23:30 That's L-A-C-R-O-I-X-Water.com. Not pronounced Lequois. Next up Lauren B They're in Virginia Beach Riding horses On a beach That's actually a dream of mine Yeah
Starting point is 00:23:44 I really want to ride horses on a beach I think it's so romantic Plus she had flannel around her waist It's a classic Caitlin B outfit right there I just called myself Caitlin B I didn't even mean to Every time I see Lauren B
Starting point is 00:23:57 on my screen I want to jump through it Mess her hair up a little Give her a little shot of tequila Tell her a joke Loosen her up a little bit Yeah, loosen the old Lauren up a little bit. But then you meet her family and her aunt said, like, first thing, like, I hope he knows we're a conservative family. Right.
Starting point is 00:24:13 Then I realized Lauren's just reserved. And that's okay too. Not everyone has to be obnoxious like me. Yes, that is correct. But Ari said something that stood out to me. I love what he just said that. I thought you're going to. I thought you just did it.
Starting point is 00:24:26 I did. I did. That's why I laughed. Otherwise, I would have committed to that if I had it in my notes. He said when I walked in to meet Emily's family with her on my arm They could tell right away that I loved her But when we walked into Lauren's home it was stiff And they felt far away
Starting point is 00:24:42 Again she's reserved so probably holding back on affection And I really want to root for these two Because he seems the most in love with her But I'm just having a really difficult time rooting for any of these couples I don't really see The only thing I saw with them was making out I haven't seen any deep conversation between the two or like any like i just don't feel like it's love i feel like i just think that it's a bad sign that we're
Starting point is 00:25:12 this far into the game and there's not at least one person who really sticks out yeah usually every season there's like one right everybody's like oh yeah that chemistry right is is legit but here each one you're like are we gonna see it no still no okay that's oh the awkward silence Remember with the family? Yeah. Well, I'm sure that was probably played up a little bit. Okay. Well, then I'm going to cancel my next joke.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Cancel it? Cancel. And Lauren's dad was like, hey, so, do you play golf? Or he's like, no, no. And you could just hear all dad's hearts around the world break, thinking of a son-in-law who doesn't golf. That was the first question, both your dad and stepdad asked me. both my dad and stepdad are like like golf is their life yeah and rob sat down with me and he
Starting point is 00:26:07 was like all right listen you know what all i want to know do you golf did he really yeah that was a very first thing he said i think yeah my dad wanted to know about your heart but then golf yes that's so funny i just feel like now i keep wanting to say airy i just feel like Ari is going into this date and all dates with Lauren like really wanting everything to be perfect and And it's putting, like, way too much pressure on them both and him and taking away from a beautiful love story. And why in all hometowns is it a thing to lay in your parents' bed to talk about? Like sitting Indian style on the bed?
Starting point is 00:26:44 Or even some of them were laying down. Oh, yeah. In the, like, is that really the place we choose for this conversation? That's great. Okay. Anyways, I thought the conversation between Lauren's dad and Ari was going to go downhill. But he won him over right away because he was like, oh yeah, I flew overseas to hang out with troops.
Starting point is 00:27:02 You can tell he's like trying to tell her dad that. But then he's like, oh, yeah, I know, a little off topic. Yeah. And I'm like, no, that was not off topic. That was perfect. Yeah. Anyways, his dad, her dad was easy on him. Lauren's mom, on the other hand.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Yeah, the dad was easier than I thought. Way easier. He talked. He talked a big talk, and then he was like, eh, you know, okay. Yeah. But Lauren's mom was a little, I mean, rightfully so. It's always just interesting for me to see different family dynamics, like, even on all seasons or between ours and my family, like, it's just so interesting to see how
Starting point is 00:27:35 everybody's raised and how all families are so different. Right. But Lauren's mom, obviously, everybody right to be nervous, but it must be especially bizarre for a conservative family. Absolutely. To be having these conversations, especially then surrounded by cameras. I don't know. But at the end of giving her blessing to Ari, like you can tell she didn't want to, but she shook
Starting point is 00:27:56 his hand. Like, gave a blessing to marry her daughter. and then shook his hand. Yeah, that's tough. Yeah, again, every family's so different, and I understand that it's uncomfortable. But it's just so hard for me to watch people not, like, open their minds or, like, their hearts
Starting point is 00:28:13 to the possibility of, like, quick love. I'm like, at least open your mind a little bit. Yeah, but it's not about quick love. It's also the fact that they all know that there's three other girls still. It's like, oh, you want to ask my daughter's hand in marriage, but you're going to be going to Wiener, Arkansas tomorrow with this other girl. Yeah, I know I hear you.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Anyways, Lauren B. Is it undeniable love? It's a no for me, dog. It's a no for me, dog. But I do think they're falling for each other. I just don't think it's undeniable love. Yeah, I don't see it being a marriage-type deal. Maybe like a fling? A fling.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Oh, wow, that is not what the bachelor looks for. A fling. I don't know. But who am I to judge? right? I don't know. You've been there. The rose ceremony. He did the old...
Starting point is 00:29:03 Can you give me a second? Steped away. Yep. We've all been there. He didn't know what he was going to do. Had the little heart-to-heart with Chris Erison. Do you know what you're going to do? I really don't.
Starting point is 00:29:13 All right. Well, go get him. So he took Kendall aside, and I kind of forget what he talked about. Do you remember? No, because you were jumping around, having flashbacks. Oh, yeah, I totally had flashbacks. Because everyone knows on Chris Sol's season I was very cocky
Starting point is 00:29:32 He took Becca out to say like Hey can we have a quick conversation I thought she was going home She came back and I was like Oh well I guess Whitney's going home Because it ain't me And then he gives Whitney the road And then he called Whitney's name
Starting point is 00:29:46 And I was like Oh I got it got it all Anyways You've seen better days That was a low point for me Anyways, I can't remember what him and Kendall talked about. Maybe, like, if she was serious enough?
Starting point is 00:29:59 I don't know. Is that what? You don't remember it? Kendall. Yeah. When he took her aside from the Rose ceremony. Oh, yeah. Kendall's a tax Derma girl, right?
Starting point is 00:30:07 Yes. Yeah, I think he was asking if she was ready for it. Oh, okay. Anyways, it doesn't matter. All I want to get to is how he sent our girl to you home. I was 110% convinced that he was sending. Becca. Yeah, Becca home.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Me too. but I'm kind of like I was shocked but I was also okay with him sending her home because I just feel like she's the kind of girl we need for the Bachelorette strong sassy funny and sweet so here to answer some of my questions
Starting point is 00:30:40 Miss Sassy Pants herself Sean B's cousin Tia Booth who who who you're supposed to hoot hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo that was the most what is it
Starting point is 00:30:55 what's the word of like a board not enthusiastic anti-clomatic anti-clomatic yes exactly Tia how shocked were you when Mr. Harrison came and did his stupid little hand gestures
Starting point is 00:31:07 to say Tia I'm sorry please say your goodbyes because the connection between you two seemed I mean one of the strongest in my opinion and to us as viewers so were you shocked
Starting point is 00:31:19 first off thank you so much for having me on your past. I'm so, so excited. It's actually very rainy and cold in Arkansas right now, so this is like a high point in my day. Yeah, I was very surprised when Ari sent me home. Even though everything happened, you know, months ago, I can still remember exactly what it felt like when he called Kendall's name instead of mine. heart just sank and it was very unexpected. But what's funny is being back in the mansion that day felt very strange, like something felt very off. And I feel like I have a pretty good intuition
Starting point is 00:32:11 and I just had a feeling in my gut that something was weird. But even when he pulled Kendall aside to talk to her, I still convinced myself, okay, maybe you know he's telling her that like this is the end of things and when he came back in um i could tell he couldn't really make eye contact with me and yeah i kind of knew at that point but it still didn't really ease the the shock or the hurt so yeah i was quite surprised you can come on the pod anytime we can hang out you can co-host with me whatever you want until you start filming for bachelorette are you still angry sad hurt any emotion from being sent home or has there been enough time for you to move on now at this
Starting point is 00:33:00 point i don't still feel angry or sad um obviously when i watched it back um and at women to all too it made me emotional seeing myself so emotional and heartbroken and i'm mad at myself for you know going back to my worth and feeling like I wasn't good enough and it's not about that and like I'm glad that I see that now and no as long as Ari is happy then I'm happy obviously he knew who he wanted in the end and yeah I mean you don't want to be with a man that you know want someone else so yeah I think I have moved on from it, and I'm happy for him and happy, you know, for future opportunities for me. I will never forget what my mom said when I called her crying, saying Chris sent me home.
Starting point is 00:34:00 She said, oh, honey, he did you a gracious favor. And looking back, he sure did. So do you feel like Ari did you a gracious favor? Long term, yeah, I think he did do me a favor, even though it was surprising and heartbreaking to go home when I did, I feel like it would have been even worse and even harder to go home after, you know, a fantasy sweet date or even at the end of the thing. And I did have very strong feelings for him, but I am a person who believes that everything happened for a reason, and I felt like it happened at the exact perfect time. We were in LA, so I was actually home with my family
Starting point is 00:34:47 and my dog the very next day, and it didn't show me saying it, but kind of after I got my emotions out with Ari at the mansion, I said, oh, my gosh, I get to go home and see my dog. I cannot wait. And I even told him, too, like, you've got some amazing girls still in there. He would be incredible women to marry. So, yeah, anyways, I think ultimately he did me a favor by, anything home when you did.
Starting point is 00:35:18 Now, if you aren't The Bachelorette, I will start my own reality show called Tia Tequila. Oh, wait. That already happened. Okay, I'll start a March. What are your thoughts on being The Bachelorette? Because no matter what, we are all rooting for you to find a good guy, no matter where that happens. If you did a March for me to be a Bachelorette, I would definitely have to be there. But honestly, the response is overwhelming.
Starting point is 00:35:48 I've gotten so many messages and so many comments and tweets about, you know, people wanting me to be the next bachelorette. And it, you know, it means so much to me to see that, you know, people would want to see more of me. And I would love the opportunity to get to do it. I feel like I would definitely have to really think about it because that is a lot of pressure. to be in control, but, I mean, I would also get to be the one in control. So, yeah, if the opportunity presents itself, then, yeah, I would definitely consider it. I think it would be a blast, and I think I would definitely take some lessons from you and your season.
Starting point is 00:36:32 So, yeah, and P.S., Raven taught me how to block certain keywords from Instagram, like, from my comments. so to all the haters I have you blocked I have your nasty words blocked so I've actually only seen like the positive responses from people and it is it is very nice to see so thank you all so much for all the kind words okay and I saw on your insta story a pick of you and Raven and Adam and Ari like yesterday are you guys friends now or something or is this an old picture you're confusing us Okay, so me and Ari and Raven and Adam all got to hang out during my hometown. I wish they could have shown it, but I didn't find out until that morning that Raven and Adam were going to surprise me and be in Arkansas. And I was just beside myself because they were the first people that I got to see after, you know, being home. I hadn't even seen my family yet. And we, you know, did the racetrack thing.
Starting point is 00:37:37 and then we went to one of my favorite restaurants in Jonesboro, and Adam and Raven flew in that day. They could only be there for about an hour, and just hung out with us for a little bit, and Adam pulled Arias got to talk for a little bit, and me and Raven got to talk for a little bit, and we had a few fireball shots, and it was just really good catching up with her. Her and Adam are very protective of me, and so it was good for them to see that, you know, I was happy with Ari and that it had been such a good experience so far. Yeah, that was for filming. That was not just casual hangs, but it was good to see them. Okay, well, thank you for coming on the pod.
Starting point is 00:38:25 We are big to you guys, right? Huge. Huge to you guys. Do I get to ask questions? No. All right. Nope, that was it. All right, Tia, tell the family I say hello,
Starting point is 00:38:38 and I'll see you at the next holiday party. And if you are the Bachelorette, I expect you to invite me to sit there with Uncle Ken on the couch when you bring your final two back to Wiener. Until then. See you, Tia. See you, Tia. Thank you so, so much for having me.
Starting point is 00:38:57 I appreciate it so much, and I love you guys. and even if you became a fan of me, just because we have the same last name, I'll still take it because y'all are the sh**. And I know you can't edit cuss words, but I didn't cuss that whole time, so I really had to throw that in. Okay, thanks, bye.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Let's take a mid-show break, shall we? Yes, we shall. I am not in the market looking to buy a car anymore because I got myself a Jeep, but if you are looking to buy a car, you're probably familiar with terms like MSRP. You might even know what it stands for, but what does it actually mean?
Starting point is 00:39:30 The same goes for invoice, list price, and dealer price. It's enough to confuse anybody. All you're really looking for is a price that actually means something. So introducing true price from the true car. Now you can know exactly what you'll pay for the car you want, including fees and accessories, before you even get to the dealership. True car dealers will show you the true price on cars like the one you want, all from the comfort of your own home. And how do you know if true price is a great price?

And your certified dealers know this, so they set their true price competitively so they can win your business. Gosh, it's such a game out there, isn't it? It is. It's a fun game, though. Fun game. I don't think I've ever heard of the word kale before, like, 19 years ago. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:40:43 I used to work at a Cajun restaurant, and we put a piece of kale and a lemon wedge on every plate. It said lemon and kale make the sale. I was like, I'm going to eat the damn garden. It's that waxy plastic that we put on the side of the crab salad. Join us for Forked Up, a Thug Kitchen podcast every Thursday, exclusively on Apple Podcasts or download and listen at Podcasts1.com
Starting point is 00:41:03 or on the new Podcast One app. This is Austin Vine. Grape Therapy. So final predictions, as of now, is it going to be Becca, Lauren B, or Kendall? Yeah. I don't want to know your predictions,
Starting point is 00:41:21 actually, because I think you've seen a spoiler. I've heard some things. I don't know the official spoilers. Well, no predictions from you then. My prediction is my prediction is Kendall taxidermy yeah yeah that's what I'm going with
Starting point is 00:41:34 I don't know I have no idea and I haven't read any spoilers and I don't want to know any well I haven't read any spoilers yet either so but you've heard things and I what if the things are true in the bachelor world you hear the little rumors being tossed around now and then but it's time for a segment
Starting point is 00:41:49 all right it's time for a segment called help me shambi I like this I knew you would Where Sean B gives you his life advice
Starting point is 00:42:03 Please explain again why there's a segment I don't know like three people said you were good at it So I round with it I like it Eight people said you were terrible But I went no I'm just kidding Just kidding Are you ready? Sean has not seen any of these questions
Starting point is 00:42:18 All right Shoot them to me straight Ali Brew Brew My husband and I travel for work constantly and he works crazy hours. As a dude, what are some of the best simple ways for your girl to show you some love while you're away from home? Do dudes like flowers, baths, chocolates?
Starting point is 00:42:38 Hashtag help me, Shambi. All right, Allie. Well, I appreciate you reaching out, and I'm going to do my best here. The quick and shortest answer is nudies. That would be great. If you want to send your husband some nudies, well, he's on the road. Yeah, I agree. That will keep him, you know, in high spirits.
Starting point is 00:42:55 and who doesn't like nudies from their significant other. So he can thank me later, but yes, that's my advice. Okay. Definitely not flowers, baths, or chocolates then? Nope. Kelly Bruto, my workouts are on point. I eat healthy about 50% of the time, but put garbage in my mouth the other 50% of the time. I know that if I got my nutrition on track, I'd really bring out those muscles.
Starting point is 00:43:23 I work so hard to build a gym. I need easy nutrition hacks. Hashtag help me, Sean B. Easy nutrition hacks. Okay. Well, sounds like what? Keep a bag of almonds in your purse.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Yeah, I mean, there's a million of them. Okay, give us five. Give us five. All right. There's a million. Make sure you're eating small meals throughout the day. Let's try and aim for four to six meals. Make sure every meal has a good amount of carbs, fats, and protein.
Starting point is 00:43:52 Don't worry about the fats because fats are a good thing. It's going to give you energy. Have good fats. So don't be afraid of fats. Don't be afraid of carbs. The good ones, you need all that stuff. What are bad carbs? Like chips?
Starting point is 00:44:03 Yeah. You don't want any of those. So keep some light snacks in your purse, like a granola bar or some almonds. Yeah. And make sure before you go grocery shopping, you want to eat a nice healthy meal so you don't go buy junk. And make sure there's no junk in the house. Because if there's something in the house that tempts you, you're going to end up eating it
Starting point is 00:44:23 when you get hungry. Once on the lips, forever on the hips, ladies. All right. That's what they say. J.B.J.S. Favorite at-home exercises? Not a big gym guy over here. Oh, inquiring from Wiener, Arkansas.
Starting point is 00:44:43 Oh, the Wiener, Arkansas, Canada, Regina, Saskatchewan. Nice. Favorite at-home exercises? I'm actually working on something right now that's going to be launching in May. That's going to cover all of that. All at-home workouts. He's been testing it out on me. Yeah, I've been testing out a ton of different workouts and exercise on.
Starting point is 00:45:00 I have to be the guinea pig. So stay tuned for that. And if you want some, you know, at-home exercise, go check out my Instagram right now. And I'm doing four new moves, trying to do four new moves every week that you can do with little or no equipment. I'm telling you guys, it was actually one of the most sore I've been just from doing the, like, at-home living room workout with you. I was like, oh, dang, why am I paying money to go gym? Love it. Jordan Taylor Wilde, how do I meet Caitlin Bristow? Help me, Shrombie.
Starting point is 00:45:30 Yeah, just shoot me a DM. I'll send you our address and our number, and then you can just show up at the house sometime and surprise her with wine. She usually lets people in the house with wine and puppies. Okay. Oh, I like this question. Jill P. How has Caitlin's life improved since working with Aaron Trelaw, the health and wellness coach? I'm a life coach, and I love hearing Caitlin talk. about her experience with Aaron.
Starting point is 00:45:56 Yeah, I think that's been a huge benefit for Caitlin. She's really in tune with her feelings or her emotions, and she's always, you know, trying to better herself emotionally. Do I have breakdowns? Yes. There are breakdowns, just like every other human. But she, for what she goes through and the responsibilities that she has, and this following that she has and that she supports and encourages and motivates. She's done very, very great, so it's tough, but she's handling it all well.
Starting point is 00:46:37 Between my therapist and health and wellness coach, Aaron, I do feel like my overall mental health and self-love has definitely improved. Absolutely. Like, a lot. I still have moments of weakness, but. You do. But so do we all. Yeah, it'd be weird if I didn't.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Yeah. It'd be weird. But thank you for saying that. You're welcome. Oh, this might be a tough one. Anna said, I suffer from severe chronic pain in my feet due to trauma. I have always been an active person doing boot camps, et cetera, and now I'm not allowed to run or do high impact. What can I do instead of, instead to incorporate cardio that's easy on the feet?
Starting point is 00:47:21 You ever tried swimming? That's a hell of a workout. Most people don't think to do that, but swimming is a full-body workout, and it is very, oh, you're in water, so it's easy on. That's a great call. Yeah, thanks, babe. I'll be here every podcast if you need me. I'll be here every podcast if you need me. Swammy is like one of the craziest.
Starting point is 00:47:53 I got really leaned out, and it's very easy on your body. Diane McCollum says, Sean, what do you guys do to ensure the other person knows they're always appreciated, and what are some ways that you are able to surprise each other after all these years? Well, if you listen to the last podcast, Caitlin woke up the other day, and I was butt-naked wearing an apron cooking her pancakes, so... Yeah, but that's Valentine's Day. You got to pull out all the stops on Valentine's Day.
Starting point is 00:48:23 Oh, you listen to that podcast? Yeah, my goal was to make her laugh when she woke up. I think I accomplished that. Yeah, I definitely laughed. It was hilarious. I think it's just, you know, spending quality time and putting down the phones. Something we struggle with. Yeah, I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:48:41 I was like, we should take a page out of our own book skis here. But that's your advice? You know, write little notes for them, come home from a grocery store. Oh, you used to do that. Come home from the grocery store with flowers, even if they hate them. You know, little things, just to let them know that you're thinking about them. Can you read, can you start doing those little notes again? Yeah, sure.
Starting point is 00:49:01 Yeah, little notes are always the best, I think. Um, hmm, Becca Gulian, how do you chase your dreams when you're scared of failure? Going deep. Help me, Sean B. That's deep. Well, our friend Hugh Jackman. It depends on how bad you want that. them, right? Because I promise you, if you're chasing your dream, your life is way more fulfilling
Starting point is 00:49:26 than it would be doing something that's not your dream. Even if you fail. Even if you fail, you're going to know you tried it because if you look back in 20, 30, 40 years, you're like, son of a, I should have at least attempted that. Give it your all. You can't be scared. Go out of your comfort zone. You need to go out of your comfort zone. Hugh Jackman said in The Greatest Showman, remember he's like, ah, comfort, the enemy of progression. Yeah. Absolutely. It is. You just got to do it. I think you can, what's her name? Becca. Becca. Becca G. I believe in you. Becca G. Listen to Sean B. Yeah. I get, it's a scary thing though. But all the best things in my life have come from doing something that I was afraid of. Every single great thing. Right. And the oldest saying, and it's so cliche. And people like, oh, well, when you're doing something you love, you're really not. working. It actually is pretty true. It's very true. Alex W., my New Year's resolution is to learn
Starting point is 00:50:28 to say no when I don't want to partake in something, but I'm already struggling because I want to keep people happy. How in the world can you say no without feeling bad about it? Keep yourself happy. The older you get, the more you realize that you need to keep yourself happy and stop trying to please others. Oh, but look, she's a kindergarten teacher. Of course she is. I know. And that's why she's a kindergarten teacher and she helps people every single day she helps mold the youth into great human beings she puts all her energy on a daily basis for these little kids so she needs to take time to herself and realize what makes her happy is not a it's a good thing so it's not bad if you say no i've learned to say no over the years too but i was the same way i'd say yes to everything yeah don't feel
Starting point is 00:51:08 guilty saying no you're already doing so much great in this world by teaching our children so take a little time you deserve to do anything you want to do anything you want to do yeah and the people who aren't going to support you then they're not good people and they shouldn't be your friends if they don't want to let you do what you want to do there you go boom shackalaka that's pretty good no thanks I'm like I want to think of some questions for you while I've had while I have your attention I'm like so uh Kate Lynn Bryce Toe
Starting point is 00:51:51 Wants to know Love languages What is? No, I'm just kidding Okay, I won't go there Yeah, I think that Sean's looking at his phone now So I've lost him
