Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story.
Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge,
there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice.
And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am.
It's not just any audiobook.
This is a full cast performance.
So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry,
brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads Sing is Mr. Darcy.
And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything.
Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix.
Talk about a dream cast.
Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics,
and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy.
And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels
so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
So whether it's your first time experiencing Pride and Prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again.
So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash Jane Austen.

So put your feet up, pop a cork, and get ready for some great therapy.
You little cuties.
Hello.
What is going on?
I miss your faces.
I miss your face.
Oh, it's been so long.
Wait.
I know.
My heart is so full.
My heart is not only full.
It is overflowing.
Wow.
That's so special.
wait what time is it where you guys are 10 p.m. We're exactly 12 hours ahead of you.
Oh shit. And you're in Bali. No, we're actually in Thailand. Oh, you're in Thailand.
Holy yeah. I mean, just for 10 days. It's like we can all keep up with the Kardashians. We cannot keep up with the fries.
No. Yeah. We, yeah, we're only in Thailand for 10 days. So we just left Bali. So I haven't posted any like Thailand content really yet. So that's probably why you're confused.
are you just like on a high at all times just like going from place to place and being like it's just always so new and exciting and like you're going to these incredible spots yes and no I feel like before here yes and it's funny because literally today was like the first day where we just were like man I like miss normalcy I miss like comfortability like just routine and
And so that was, it was funny.
I was like, man, of course we're finally, like, talking to Caitlin the day.
We're just like, wah, want, want.
Oh, I will, I totally get it.
You're allowed to be want, want, want.
And I will try and lift your spirits because that makes total sense.
They are lifted.
But then, like, at dinner, we were, like, talking and we're, like, looking back on what we've done and, like, looking forward to where we're going.
And we're like, no, like, we still are so appreciative and so excited about what's to come.
It was just, we had a few little mishaps today.
And I think that kind of, like, set us over where we're like, all right.
we're over this right now like i just want to go back to our Airbnb and chill like i want to not do
anything yeah no that totally makes sense before we get like into everything and i get ahead of myself
we all know blare and luke we did the blaret she found the love of her life you're married
you're traveling it we all know that but tell everybody like what made you guys have this
itch to just get up and go and have you always planned on doing that or was this something that you're
like you know what let's just go and made it happen a little bit of both so our original plan was
we were going to go to australia for six months because luke was going to be a travel nurse there so
he was going to still be working yeah and so we were going to go to australia for six months live
there uh but they were still like on a hardcore lockdown when we were supposed to go all this
stuff so we were like kind of just switching gears a little and i've always just wanted to do like a long
long-term travel trip where it's just traveling for an extended period of time to like experience
new cultures and see new things whatever and I kind of just brought it up to Luke like I was like so
I know you want to go skiing a lot this winter I was like what if we went skiing in Switzerland
like that was how I kind of like pulled him in and he was like okay I'm listening it's been the top
of my bucket list to go skiing in the Swiss Alps yeah so she like knew that
And she, like, she knew that from the get-go when she was putting this plan together.
I was like, how can I say no?
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that was kind of it.
And honestly, he was like, okay, like, it sounds awesome.
Give me logistics, you know, so I kind of researched and was like, okay, this is like how much we would be spending on rent in each place.
This is, you know, average of this, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, because he wouldn't be working.
It would be seven months of vacation for him, basically.
Right.
Which is amazing.
Yeah.
So it took a little bit of convincing, but not too much.
and it kind of all came together within like a month like from the idea we had it to the time
we like booked everything and we're ready to go it was about a month it probably didn't take
much convincing it just took a lot of like figuring out logistics to make it work yeah well
no he like he loves being a nurse so he really like that was his one thing he was like I don't
know like most people you're like hey how would you like to not work for seven months and they're
like let's go yeah like he was like oh I'm gonna miss it that's gonna be tough and I'm like
yeah but like think about you know you can work on your music and this and this and he's like
you're right let's do it so maybe five seconds of that is so incredible that you love your job
that much like i don't know how many people can say like i love my job so much that i like it
would take me some convincing to go travel the world and miss out on working that's awesome
that you have found that in your life yeah definitely like looking back on it i still feel that way
because I definitely do miss nursing.
But the first couple of months, I was like, I don't know what to do myself.
I feel like I'm kind of lost and like I got to find things to do and I got to do this and
that while Blair's working still while we're traveling.
But yeah, today we actually talked about it was like I'm kind of feeling the itch to like
really get back and like work again.
Well, you guys have been out of like your routine for so long and your jump into all these
different places.
And I remember when I lived like in Europe for six to seven months.
I remember after three months, I was like, get me out of here.
I want to order just like normal food.
I want to just be like home, have that home feeling.
Like I just felt so out of place like after the like excitement of it wore off.
But how are you guys feeling?
And this is good too because you've been feeling like all these highs and lows.
And right now you're having a bit of a day.
How are you feeling today in a movie title?
Um, I feel like mine would be like, um, the movie Home Again with Reese Witherspoon.
Have you seen that movie?
Yes, I've seen every Reese Witherspoon anything.
So cute.
But yeah, I think home again, like, I don't want to go home for like ever.
But I think if I could just have like a week just to feel normal, cook dinner.
Like being in Asia, we've pretty much like you just eat out every day.
Yeah.
And I'm like, I would love to just be home again and cook a nice meal.
and be in my own bed.
Seriously.
So that's mine.
And when is it for one?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I want both.
Oh, yeah.
Well, like, since we were in Europe for the most of our time here and we're going back
and I'm kind of feeling that vibe of like, I actually really want to go back to Europe.
So I'm going with Euro trip.
Oh, yeah.
That's good.
Oh, good.
I'm going with Euro trip.
I like that.
I like that.
So do you guys have like a time that you're going home?
Are you, like, bouncing around being like, we'll go home.
when we've like seen all we need to see or is your whole trip planned out and you know when
you're going home yeah our trip is fully planned out we go home like the first week of
august so we have one more week uh one week in thailand and then we're in scotland
uh edinburgh for one month and then we go back like how the hell like people are listening
probably being like well how do i do that like how does one afford to do
this are you being smart about like where you're staying are you doing brand deals are you like
roughen it out with like you know what i mean in like hostels like how are you doing this
a little bit of both like i'm definitely she's the ultimate planner i'm about saving money i like to
save money but i'm also not about to i cannot stay in a hostel because one my anxieties
would just be out of the roof but also it's like i still especially because we're doing slow travel
so we're in each place for like a full month and we're working and cooking like I want to be
somewhere that I feel a little homie. So we're kind of meeting in the middle. But to be completely
honest, like, because Luke's not working, what I've been making on this trip is pretty much
just getting us through like paycheck to paycheck. But we, I mean, before the trip, we had like
saved a lot of money last year. So we kind of had that to fall back on. And at the end of the
day, like we kind of looked at it in the viewpoint of like, okay, when we get to the end of
23, would we rather have like this much more money in our savings account or like all of
these memories and like a trip of a lifetime? And so that was kind of, yeah, it was just like
a priority thing to us. Like I think people think you have to just be like making so much money or
this kind of thing. It's more just like, would you rather save all of your money or like, you know,
have experiences and you know obviously not everyone does have this opportunity and we're very
thankful for it but we did have the opportunity and it felt like a now this is like the perfect
time to do it kind of thing well and i love that you say that because a lot of people worry so
much about like what they have in the bank or you know but i read this thing and i don't know if
i've talked about it i think i've talked about it on the podcast it's a hundred and three things
that this guy wished he knew all his life and he was on his like 80th birthday or something and he put
out 103 things and one of the ones he said if you have money and like you have these desires
to do things like spend your money make the memories and he goes your last paycheck should go
to your funeral and it should bounce. I love that. That's so good. I love that. I love that you're
doing that. Yeah. No, I always say I'm always like when I end my life, I don't want to have a bank full
of money. I want to have a heart full of memories. So that's how we look at it. Let's ride into
The sunset.
I think that's really incredible because, you know, and some people don't have that itch to travel and they want to spend their money on other things, which is great.
But I feel like you two as a couple, I just pictured you traveling the world.
Like, I feel like you two are, well, I mean, this is from the outside in.
But I feel like you have such a, your foundation of your relationship is so solid where you're like best friends.
And then you're also married, like your best friends happen to be married.
And you guys like can travel like that together and make these memories.
and have the same outlook on life,
which is so important to be on the same page,
and I feel like you two are.
So that's,
you are never going to regret all of this travel, ever.
No, I don't think so either.
Absolutely not.
Okay, I'm going to say something a bit controversial here, okay?
But hang with me.
I actually want people to judge me.
When they look at how incredibly efficient I am,
going through TSA, I want them to gasp.
And when I pull my bag off of the conveyor,
I want them to be shooky, okay?
And I feel like they will because I just got too,
new travel essentials from base that I cannot wait to take with me next time I travel. So I was
familiar with base and I always was a fan of how like chic their products are. But until I had it
for myself, I did not understand the full picture and now I'm just in love. Bass was created by
actress Shay Mitchell to make sleek and affordable bags, luggage and accessories designed to help
you travel effortlessly while still looking fashionable. For shorter trips, the weekender bag is
so functional. I got this bag in beige and I love.
love the bottom compartment. It's designed for like shoes and toiletries and your essentials and
it just makes it so much easier to get organized, which is something I actually struggle with.
So if a bag can help me with that, I'm happy. I also got the carry on roller and beige.
It's my go-to color lately. And it's perfect. I'll probably post about it actually. Whether
you're packing for a quick trip or looking to breeze through the security line, Base has your
personal items covered. So right now, Base is offering my listeners 15% off your first purchase by

do as long as you guys are doing well i mean you have it how much do you miss waffle your dog oh my gosh so i'm
flying back to get him in 11 days so he'll join us for the rest of our trip yeah exciting news
oh holy trip yeah it's been very tough like lou yes even at the like at the beginning of the trip
luke legit and i also did not know if we would actually make it this far because of how
much I was struggling and it was still a constant like all the time I cry about it but once we
finally figured out all the paperwork and everything and figured out how we could get him to come to
Europe for the rest of our trip I've it's it kind of gave me something to look forward to but yeah
it's been the hardest thing and I was like we will never do this again like we will do everything
that it possibly takes so that he can come with us when we traveled long term because yeah I
has been awful. I mean, it's not like you gave him up and sent him away. He's with your family, right?
No, no, no. Yeah. He's with Luke's parents. They have a dog. He's living his best life. They,
I tell them to like send us a photo every day and they do a really good job. So I'm really
and everyone's like, he's fine. I'm like, I'm not worried about him. I'm worried about myself. Like,
I'm a freaking wreck. Yeah. I feel that that happens to me all the time when like,
I leave the dogs with our amazing house sitter who stays here. Like, so the dogs aren't like,
leaving they're still in their own home and they're so happy and they love this woman who
watches our dogs and she's like you know what the great thing is like they don't miss you
as much as you miss them i'm like don't tell me i know i know don't remind me dogs don't know time i'm
like yes he does he's a smart boy he knows everything well time is man made but they still
understand that it's a long time exactly that's my thought too i'm like he sleeps he eats he eats again
he sleeps he knows what a day is
Like, it's clearly a lot of days.
But, yeah, you get it.
I wish they, like, understood FaceTime, too, because there's something about dogs in FaceTime where they're like, what?
I don't get it.
And you're like, look at me.
I'm right here.
Yeah.
So true.
That's the one thing I wish.
It would make it so much better because it's like, we're away from our friends and family, too, but we can FaceTime then.
Yeah.
And I'm like, Waka has no idea.
He's such a dirp.
Oh, man.
I totally get that.
I understand and feel your pain.
I've been there done that.
So hard.
But I'm glad, okay, 11 days.
The countdown is on.
Yeah.
Luke, for a nurse, are you able to just take this time off and then go back when you come
back?
Like, that's just allowed?
Yeah.
So with what I, as a travel nurse, so I've been, I've been travel nurse for three plus
years.
So actually right when I met Blair, that's when I started traveling down in Nashville.
Yeah.
So, but yeah.
So with travel nursing, I do contract work.
So I have an agency.
I tell them where I want to be.
and then I work for three months
or I can add on time if I want to
but yeah so
I'm not missed
they don't need me
once my contract's up
I can do whatever I want to do
with that time and then I can always come back
so which is perfect for our situation
yeah yeah he's not like at one hospital
he bounces around so
he has the freedom to just leave and then
come back yeah so it works out perfectly
and like not only do you have a job that you love
but you also have a hobby you love you've
in still doing music and releasing music.
How the hell are you doing that in all of these random places?
Like, do you, how do you record and release music while you're, like, in Thailand?
Yeah.
So I actually went, I worked pretty hard before we left because I knew I wasn't going to be able to
bring my instruments and all that stuff.
So I got most of my recording done before I left.
And then I do my own mixing and producing while I've been here.
So that's pretty much what I've been doing is working on music that way.
Just getting it all polished before.
or I send it out.
So, but yeah, most of the music that I've been releasing, I've either had for a while
and, like, kind of banked up or I just did it right before I left and then put it all together.
And now it's, I'm able to release it.
So it's pretty cool.
Yeah.
That's so fun that you're, like, traveling.
You're like, oh, and also I've just got, like, an album I'll put out once in a while.
Like, that's so, that's such a fun hobby that you can do while you're still traveling.
And, like, you guys are just so good at Instagram.
Like every time I can, I for the life of me, cannot put together a reel.
Like, I don't know why I struggle.
I always think I'm so creative until I try and do a reel and I'm like,
like, I can't do it.
And every time I see you guys post, I'm like, holy shit.
Like, this is magical and the music and the like views and like the camera angles.
Like, do you have one of those, what is it, what are the things called?
I don't know.
You're weighing your hand back.
Like the thing, the thing that flies up and like takes...
Oh, a drone?
Yeah.
Yeah, we have a drone, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, I figured.
Do you have one of those?
And you just flop your hand back and just...
Yeah, we do.
You know what I mean.
That's, um, Jason, every single day, he thinks of things in his brain and then he'll
say it out loud, but with zero context.
So he'll be like, did you know that with those four people?
And I'm like, what?
Are you talking about?
Like, it makes zero sense.
And then I'm like, you forgot to say out loud what you're.
thinking and he's always like oh shit i totally did it again every day it's bizarre um yeah because your
social media is just so fun to follow along right now like i'm like a proud mom or like i don't know
like fairy godmother or something just like watching my two little children who i introduced to
like travel the world together and have this happy marriage and i'm just like what a perfect
scenario now as we see perfection on instagram give us the tea do you guys are
argue like do you get into fights do you have healthy arguments like how because you went from
like you didn't live together before you got married we like hung out all the time basically but
you went from like you know hanging out doing your own thing to moving in and getting married to
traveling the world together and that could make or break a couple that and they usually do that
before they get married now you've done that while married and i want to know what does an argument
look like for Blair and Luke, because I can't picture it.
I mean, this trip in so many ways has challenged us and helped us grow and all the things.
Yeah.
Because, yeah, like you said, like when you're together, like, we literally are together pretty
much 24-7.
Like, there might be the occasional time where, like, Luke would go surfing and I would be
at a cafe, but, like, pretty much together 24-7.
And so, I mean, you definitely have to, like, prioritize, like, date nights because, you know, you kind of, like, one of the biggest things is this trip.
I'm like, I miss the feeling of missing you.
Like, yeah.
Because we're together all the time.
Like, I used to, you'd go to work.
And I'd be like, oh, he's coming home.
Yay.
Like, totally.
I hear about his day.
But it's like, hey, how was your day?
Oh, yeah.
I was with you the whole time.
So, yeah.
You know, but no, I mean, we definitely have had challenges.
Like, I think being in small.
studios, especially after going from like, I mean, it's not like we were in a giant house.
We were in a one bedroom apartment, but still going from one bedroom to a studio, it's like,
I definitely struggled with not putting my clothes away.
And Luke is a very neat person.
But luckily, we like, we don't fight.
Like, we never raise our voice, yell, get angry.
Like, we have a conversation.
So anytime this trip, like that something's come up where it's like one of us isn't feeling super loved that day or like Luke is frustrated with how I'm acting, which is usually how it is because I'm the worst.
No, you're not.
We all have our moments.
We all have our moments.
Then we really just like sit down, have a conversation.
Like one of our biggest things, which I mean so many people say like never go to bed angry.
But like we really try to live by that.
And, like, if anything, even if it's the smallest thing is bothering us, like, we bring it up, we talk about it.
So that we can fully move on and not, like, it be in the back of your head, like, the next day, the next week, whatever.
I mean, y'all are just so ahead of most relationships.
And it's like, how?
Like, you two are just, like, meant to be together.
It's so bizarre.
It is.
It's crazy.
It really is just crazy how, and you work so well together.
Like, yeah.
But no, life is definitely not perfect.
Like, we definitely did.
disagree we definitely have moments of not feeling super loved or this but yeah i mean at the end of the
day we just try to talk it out and always express exactly how we're feeling so that we can move
forward and be stronger and better moving forward yeah i love that that's i mean we learned
this in the pandemic that two people are not supposed to spend that much time together like we've
all learned that you're not supposed to spend that much time together it's it's healthy to miss
each other it's healthy so you of course you face challenges and you know things are going to build
up or bug you or annoy you but i love knowing that you're just like but we talk like two healthy adults
i'm like wow we're definitely lucky in that aspect to be able to do that and actually yeah like
she said at the end of the day figure out what's going on and go to bed give each other a kiss and say
i love you and then go to bed you know that's see i am i've said this before i'm the pod too like
I, I'm okay with going to bed angry.
I know that sounds terrible, but I, it's actually more beneficial to me because sometimes
I just need to rest and I'll wake up and realize it's actually not a big deal where if I
try and like address it in the moment of feeling mad, I like can spiral or I can like go
dark.
I'm like, you know what?
I just need to go to bed and I'll wake up and feel so much better.
So I am the opposite of that.
Yeah.
No, I mean, everyone, that's the thing.
Like everyone is so different.
different because, yeah, for me, like, if something upsets me, it's like, I will be so
obvious so that Luke will ask, like, what's wrong?
Like, he'll be like, hey, do you want to go here for dinner?
And I'm like, I don't know.
And he's like, okay, what's wrong?
And I'm like, thank you for asking.
So earlier, he said this.
Yes.
So it's like, if I go to bed thinking about something, like, I'll not, I won't go to bed.
I'll just toss and turn and be like, I should wake him up.
Yeah, I'm going to wake him up.
not like yeah yeah yeah oh my gosh i may not remember the conversation but i'll talk to her for sure
i'm very good i'm very good at talking in my sleep and not remember conversations at all i fall
asleep on an instant so like it's i mean even your subconscious i'm surprised i'm awake right now
to be honest i'm usually by a bed at nine o'clock yeah i feel you on that
hopefully i remember this tomorrow so you're like sleeping right now even your subconscious is like
good at communicating that's annoying what is jac
Is Jason a go to bed angry or talk it out before he goes to bed?
He's okay with it too.
What is he like?
I think he knows maybe he's not okay with it, but maybe he accepts it because he
knows that like I actually am probably better to talk to the next day.
So then he's like, oh, God, I would rather not go to bed angry, but it's probably going to get
worse if we just sit here and talk about it where we could wake up tomorrow and it's actually
not an issue at all.
So, hey, that's all that matters is y'all are on the same page with it.
Exactly. Exactly. Blair, we both did something for the first time this year, and that is ski.
Oh, yeah. I saw you in skiing. You're freaking shredded it, dude.
I was so impressed with myself because I was like, you know what? I could definitely die, but I'm going to be fearless as hell and just like, go for it.
And I loved every second. Did you love it?
Well, I watched your video, and I was like, screw her. Like, I skied for a month.
and did not look as good as you steed in it really oh my gosh because i'm the opposite i think when
you ski you have to be fearless like i'm on these little slopes with these kids who are just like
whew and i'm like excuse me you do you know how to stop on that and they probably don't but they're just
they'll figure it out i'm like slow turn oh pizza pizza pizza pizza okay okay slow turn pizza pizza
Like, I literally curve by curve down the mountain.
And you were just gliding now.
And I was like, okay.
Well, but she sucks.
I have an advantage, though, because I grew up figure skating.
And so I feel like a lot of that felt very similar to stopping on skates.
And that is something that's really hard to learn is how to stop on skates.
And I feel like that really helped me with doing the, like, the side to side motion.
I run into the wall to stop when I'm skating.
So that's probably where my struggle came in.
Yeah.
See, that's a big part of it.
I really actually do believe that's why I picked it up easier than I think most people later.
I was like, I was like, what the heck?
This is her first day.
Are you kidding me?
I was like, I feel stupid.
I left that.
No, I'm just really freaking good.
It's okay.
You're born natural.
You're born natural.
Makes sense.
No, I actually, it's 26 Olympics.
Here you come.
You know what?
That's my next manifest goal.
Or whenever the Olympics.
Sorry. Honestly, now it's going to happen. I would not be surprised. You're like dancing with the stars. Yes. Host the Thessler. Yes. Olympics. All right. Let's do it. I'm like, what's the most impossible thing I could do. Let's make it happen. Yeah. Gosh. No, I stuck to the greens and the easy ones. Is that what it is? The greens? Yeah. Yeah. I stuck to the easy ones. I went down one blue a couple times. They tried that Jason tried to like trick me down like a black.
diamond i was like real funny man like so okay so not really a fun fact but it's a fact i when i was
younger i went skiing one time and i did like the literally like bunny slope like where they just
teach you like not even a slope at all and then my friends legit they were like we're going to do
the next slope it's like the next level and i was like okay and it was a black and i i hiked
down the entire mountain the ski patrolskied next to me holding
my skis and I just had my poles and just walked down the whole thing and I was like I'm done like I
had a legit panic attack on the mountain trying to do it fell over and was like nope so yeah that happened
to me it's not a funny joke no I did that that's um that was when I quit snowboarding I went
snowboarding in Austria and really hurt myself and I was like I am never doing this again and
then I took like I don't remember I think that was when I was like 20
seven and or maybe 26 and then I was like I'll never be on a mountain again and then I went skiing and I was like oh this I can do this I can get used to yeah skiing is nice you know skiing is where it's at it's where it's at oh I love that you got yourself out there and did that this week's episode of grape therapy is brought to you by progressive insurance now most of you listening right now as you know you're probably multitasking that's just what we do while you're listening to me talk you're probably driving cleaning exercising maybe grocery shopping I don't know what you do when I'm in your ear

What made you want to go to Portugal?
Because I feel like that's like, doesn't stand out to me as a place where I'm like, oh, bucket list.
But tell me why and convince me to go.
So, same.
Portugal was not even on our radar.
We were kind of still in the process of deciding our locations.
And we were thinking Spain.
So we were trying to decide, okay, Barcelona or majority.
where do we want to go for a month and I posted on my Instagram about it and had so not so many
probably like 10 people say like Lisbon Portugal over both it's my favorite city in Europe and
I was like really and then like the next week someone else was I think it was actually one of the
girls that works for you at the Boston podcast oh yeah it was either one of them or I don't know I went on
two trips back to back that weekend and somebody said Lisbon, Portugal was their favorite
place in all of Europe.
And so I was like, okay, I looked it up, didn't really do any research, but I was like,
you know what, let's do it.
So we just kind of did it because other people were recommending it.
And it is by far our favorite place we have done this trip.
It's the best city ever.
We've talked about wanting to live in Lisbon for like six months next year.
Like we love it.
The vibes are just 10 out of 10.
Like, everyone's so chill, so cool.
You got great brunch.
You got great nightlife.
You got the ocean.
Yeah.
It's just an amazing city.
Okay.
It was very, like, our way of life and what we enjoy was, like, Lisbon.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
It was not on our radar, and then we went, and now it's our favorite place, and we're
trying to figure out how to go back.
And it's so dog-friendly.
Like, oh, cute.
And the temperature is, like, 50.
to mid-80s, year-round.
Like, it's in the perfect range, you know.
Gosh, okay, well, you've convinced me.
Now I'm adding it to my list of places to go.
I'll go with you.
I'll meet you there, girl.
I feel like I get so overwhelmed when it comes to planning.
I mean, I'm trying to plan a wedding right now.
I am so overwhelmed.
I'm not a planner.
I'm not organized enough to, like, even have the confidence to go, like, oh, I'm going to book a trip around Europe and go here.
how would you like give anybody advice who wants to travel who just feels intimidated by the planning because that's who I am how like what would you recommend take it away expert travel planner I don't know because I like love planning so yeah you do it's hard to be like oh if you don't like planning just go plan it you know because it's like yeah I was going to say like there are travel agents like I think too like my biggest
the way I plan is I just like look at other like travel blogs or research like
taught places to do this you know that kind of thing but yeah it's tough because I I do
genuinely enjoy it so maybe just ask me if you want to go somewhere and I'll do all the
research for you because she genuinely enjoys planning trips yeah I love it like she should be a
travel agent you should start a little side hustle of like being a little travel agent and like
Telling people where to go.
But I'm such a like worry war and people pleased it that I'd be like, oh, my God,
what if they don't like it?
Oh, my God.
What if they hate it?
What if, you know, I feel like I would get like that.
Like, I know what I love to do?
But I'm like, what if they don't like to do that?
Yeah, yeah.
Or what if I find a restaurant that looks incredible and they're like, wow, food sucked.
I'm like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry.
I take it back.
Don't do that then.
That sounds so stressful.
I don't want you to, yeah.
Yeah.
But yeah, I would say just.
I don't know. I feel like blogs are my go-to for trying to find the best places.
But also, I think, like, when we get somewhere, we try to just, actually, a good idea is to book, like, a tour your first day there.
Because then you can kind of, like, see all the different, like, neighborhoods.
Or if you do, like, a food tour, usually it's like, it'll take you around to different parts of the city.
And then you kind of have, like, a general outline of, like, okay.
Yeah, that's true.
This is where I want to go back.
different and enjoys different things so it's hard to say like go here do this if it's like not up
their alley or something that's that makes sense what do you think the most important thing that
you two have taken away from your travels so far um i honestly think especially this last these last
two months being in bali and now thailand i think it's just shown me how appreciative i am
for like the small things like just so like our our Airbnb in Bali fun fact you actually had to
flush the toilet to make the shower work so you would literally turn on the shower and it would
just trickle and then you flush the toilet and it would just boom like burst like so powerful
the first night we got there and Luke went to take a shower and was like wow this is the worst shower
like trickles.
And it was cold.
And it was cold.
And so the next day, next day, I was like trying to like figure it out because I needed to
take a shower.
And I'm like, what the heck?
Luke came in and peed and flushed the toilet.
And it legit was like, boom.
And we were like, what the heck?
So that's how it started.
That is so interesting.
But the water would get cold after like five minutes.
And the day we got to Thailand, we were actually in like a really nice hotel that we
kind of were like, all right, we're going to treat ourselves.
And I kid you not, I took a 20 minute hot shower and I was just like, oh, it's just the little things that you like take for granted.
And we've, I mean, so many times on this trip, we've talked about that just like, especially, you know, growing up in America.
Like, you really don't realize how privileged you are until you like see other countries and see the way of life.
And it's like, wow.
Like, I feel like that's the biggest thing I personally will take away is just being more grateful for the smallest things.
Yeah.
I think for me, especially with our relationship, I think it was just patience.
Yeah.
Especially with the fact that living in studios where we don't have our own space can definitely
be wearing and just like having to work with each other has definitely taught me a lot.
And also just like, again, being so close and not having our own space.
I think just patience is one of the big.
And like I said, I can be the worst sometimes.
It's just like it's literally the biggest thing.
So, yeah.
That's an important takeaway.
I think like traveling the world makes you grow as a human being like tremendously.
And if you do that with your partner and get through all that and do it together, like I feel like you two would grow so much as a couple and learn so much about not only the world, but each other.
And like exactly patience and gratitude.
And I just think it's like one of the most important things to do in life is travel.
because I mean it also it gives you like like you said like appreciation for the little things and things you have in your life but also it makes you feel more empowered to like like once I traveled I was like I can do anything like I can find my way around the world I can do whatever like and you just like become more of a I don't know evolved human yeah yeah no for sure it's definitely like I've been out of my comfort zone so many times on this trip and
And like I'm almost, yeah, it's like I knew going into this that this would be life-changing.
And so I've tried to kind of like embrace it.
Like tomorrow we're going rock climbing at this beach that's like known for rock climbing and
I've never rock climbing terrified of heights, but I knew Luke would love it.
And I'm like, all right, I'm probably going to cry.
I'm probably going to freak out.
But like I want to challenge myself and do something that's not in my comfort zone.
And yeah, it's, I mean, I'm still.
Which again, I have so long.
like a long way to go before I feel like I can do anything like I'm like no I can't I can do that
but yeah but the thing is you do it you like you know like how one of my favorite sayings is if
you're scared to do something just do it scared so it's like you're still going to do it and you're
going to come out of that being like I can't do anything you're going to I have to show you
this because I found it my camera roll somehow really quickly talking about Bali and like
fleshing the toilet this is me in Bali and how I had to pee
in a toilet
Yep
Looks about right
Literally
What part of Bali
Were you
Is that a urinal
No it's like
It's one of the like
I know it is on the
It's a floor toilet
And I had to pee like that
Before a rose ceremony
And that's when I got sent home
Oh wait y'all came to
Y'all were in Bali
That was in Bali
Yeah
Yeah that was in Bali
I was stuck in one hotel
And then had to dress
In like a sarong
And my hair had to be up
To go into the temple
And I peed
on my foot in that
picture and then I got sent home
and one of the
producers was trying to make me laugh
and he put my foot in his mouth in the limo
on that like sad limo ride home
where they're like I'm like crying and he's like
I'll make you feel better he put and I was like
I peed on that foot so
I didn't know you had peed no
oh my gosh I thought that's why he did it was like to be funny
because you had just peed on it I mean he would
if anyone would it would have been him
but yeah it was it was
it was pretty disgusting um that's hilarious i know what uh what do you both miss besides waffle
what do you miss the most about being home oh i think i think structure for me yeah i think
structure is the biggest thing for me because again i was working i knew i worked three days a week
but outside of that i was going to the gym i was working on music i was like yeah and we had a place
to come home to you know yeah like we were
still do have that but it's like it was our place so i guess like definitely structure for me that's
what i miss the most yeah yeah mine would either be kind of similar in the sense of like i miss
having our own space because like he said it's like this whole trip everywhere we come home to
even though everywhere did start to feel like home after a couple weeks like i missed like oh
these are our sheets this is my pillow these are our like pictures on the wall you know it just
like felt homey.
Yep.
And then also probably just like Chick-fil-A and Zaxby's or something like that.
But, you know, I had Chick-fil-A yesterday.
Oh, don't rob it in.
I know.
But I'm not going to lie, gave me a bit of a tummy egg, so don't worry about it.
Well, speaking of that, fun, this is a fun fact.
So just tummy-ache stuff.
When we left, I'm talking mostly for Blair in the sense, but when we left from the
States and came to Europe, we traveled around, we, we really.
realized that whatever we eat in the States is not what we eat in Europe and it's so much better
on your GI track in Europe right in Europe yeah yes I know I've had a few people that were gluten
free in the US come to Europe and can eat all the gluten and have no issues but yeah I like
they like legally can't have certain ingredients that we do here right and it's everything is just so
fresh and like it really it like i when i went to italy i ate so much pizza pasta like everything
and my stomach was fine and i didn't gain a pound yeah legit like i yeah i was having i mean i've had
stomach issues for a very long time we got to europe three months no issues amazing we got to
bolly a little bit a little bit of a little bolly belly but yeah i'm it's a little bolly belly but yeah i'm
It's crazy how bad the food is for you.
Like, isn't that interesting?
Yeah.
It's wild.
Well, you can tell me about your bawly tummy issues because it's time to do confessions.
Oh.
You've got to have a good confession from traveling for three months.
So we were like, we were talking earlier because we're riding our little motor scooter.
through Thailand and I was like okay I was like let's try and think if Caitlin asks us a confession
like let's try and think about it so we're not put on the spot our bike ride was like an hour
and we're like what just crickets could not think of anything and I was like we're so like
if anything our confession is that we are like totally not as cool as we might appear online
because I'm like we go to bed at like 930 nothing crazy happens before 9.
30 p.m. I'm like, we are such losers. We have nothing crazy to tell. Well, that's okay. You don't have to
have a confession. I know, but we were trying to think. I was thinking hard. Trust me. All I was seeing
was a black slate. He goes, I mean, I guess this could be a confession, but it's really like,
this just shows how, ooh, crazy. Like, Luke was like, I mean, we could say we had shower sex
for the first time about my birthday. I was like, yeah, that'll make us look really cool, like, two
years married and we're like we finally were able to do it in the shower finally didn't need to
lube up or anything here we go oh my gosh wait I have to say and tell me the truth did you enjoy it
because I think it is the most overrated thing on the planet I think it's more the fact that
oh I did but yeah you were more like it was just because we hadn't done it yeah I think it was
kind of like it was very not really planned like it wasn't like it wasn't like
like oh let's go you know it was just we were in there and it was his birthday and I was like
you know what let's just try and I think we're both like whoa yeah this happened like what it's
happening we're like high-fiving in the shower yes wait that's amazing I love this confession
because yeah like usually people are like you know what we had anal for his birthday you're like
we did it in the shower yeah like I feel like our sex life like you were saying earlier like
we're like best friends so like it's more funny half the time and we're like making jokes and
laughing than like ooh sexy like I really don't think I know how to be sexy so yeah I've I've always
been labeled as like you know the sexual bachelorette the one who has sex and oh she's probably
so wild and I'm like quite vanilla and like boring and like I feel the same way like it's really
hard for me to get in a mood like having sex for me to be like woo yeah I'm sexy like I'm
Saddle up.
I make jokes more of the time.
Yeah, like, I'm like, yeah, it's like,
yehaw, and we go crack up.
Like, I can't be serious because I feel like I don't,
I feel like I'm more of like the cute route
rather than like sexy.
So that's, you know, I'm like, own it.
I'll own it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You're sexy and cute and everything in between.
That's a great confession.
I'm into this one.
I'm into this one.
I'm glad.
That was literally it.
That's the wildest thing when we've been traveling for four,
four months is finally
did it in the shower
because, you know, I'm proud of you guys.
Thank you.
I've started to, will you do it again?
Or was it like a one-time thing?
No, I think we'll try again, maybe.
Okay, great.
I love that for you guys.
Okay, thank you so much.
I'm happy to.
I've got a little game for you guys.
It's called favorites.
I just want to know from the entire trip so far, each of your favorites from this list.
So, favorite meal you've had this whole trip.
Ooh.
Not Valentine's Day in Switzerland, that's for sure.
I don't know.
Favorite meal?
I mean, that's tough.
Yeah, because they're so different in so many ways.
Well, pizza in Italy does taste better.
I was going to say off the top of my head, I was going to sell pizza.
Pizza pasta.
I feel like we had a really good seafood lunch in.
Lisbon, our last day.
Portofi now.
That was really good.
That was really good.
I'm going to go with that.
It was seafood and it was amazing.
I'm going pizza pasta, Italian style.
I have not had breakfast yet and I am starving.
Okay.
Favorite climate, I know that's weird, but you know what?
You're all over the place.
No, of this trip, though.
Right?
Yes.
But I'm with you on fall.
Same.
It's been that.
It's been there.
What's the mean girl?
April.
not mean girl no what's up from miscingeniality the date thing April 30th or whatever her thing is that
was you right then oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yes I do yes I love that one over my head so um so far
Bali because I just love summertime Portugal then if we're saying yeah Portugal's weather was
fantastic well you never know because some people love the snow and maybe you loved the snow
in the mountains or something I do love the snow I did learn to love this now okay
I hated it.
But like, I realized once you actually have clothes that are meant for snow, I was like, oh, okay, it is enjoyable.
I'm not just wearing a long-sleeved t-shirt because it snows once every five years in Georgia.
Yeah, that's true.
Okay, favorite city out of all of the places you've been?
Lisbon.
You guys are cute.
You both raise your hands at the same time and say it the same way.
Oh, my God, I love you.
Okay.
Why did you love it so much?
It's just everything about it was who we were, I think.
Just like we said, like the lifestyle, the chillness, you're right by the beach, the weather.
This was the good brunches, the good scenes.
Yeah.
And we also like made friends there, like right when we got there because we like started going to a church there.
And we went.
So like we had a friend group.
We had a community.
So it like felt like our life was actually there for the month.
We were there.
you know like other places it's like we may make a friend and see them like twice and for the
most part it's just us adventuring but like there we actually like felt like it was our life and
we like belong there like it felt like home honestly that's nice oh i like that um what was your
favorite l-o-l laugh out loud moment the shower sex i'm just kidding
right when we were doing it in the shower l-o-l um favorite l-o-o-o-l
Oh, for me, I'll wrap the top of the head here.
I actually got one.
Woo!
Let's go.
So when we were in Switzerland and Blair was learning the ski and she all of a sudden
just like falls and just, I was videotaping her and all of a sudden you hear.
And like just coming across the screen and she's just laying on her back sliding down the hill.
That was my LOL moment.
And the thing is?
And the sound was so like, I don't even know.
screeching seagull that was getting impaled by a by a pencil i don't know luckily he was filming it
because i was like i had my lesson my first lesson all day and i'm like oh my god i did so good
i'm like luke come watch me and i it wasn't even like halfway down the hill i started falling like
i was trying to start going and i just fell and went down half of the freaking mount you sent me
this video yeah 100% yeah because we're definitely going to post this on off the vine
that's a good one i i can't really think of anything i feel like there was a lot of l-l moments just
skiing in switzerland because i just it was a disaster anytime it's like yeah anytime it's
like your first time doing something and something goes wrong it's an l-ol moment like shower sex
and skiing on a hill yeah exactly same same same oh my gosh i love it well we're going to wrap up
here. I just am so I love following along with everything you guys are doing right now. I love
your whole love story, obviously. And that you guys are just like. I mean, we have you to thank.
Yeah. Thank you for that. Our godmother. Thank you. I am. I am your little godmother. Like,
like, you know the one from like Shrek. That's how I feel. Like a little bit, a little bit evil, but
very sweet also. Yeah. 100%. But I'm just so happy for you guys. And I can't wait for you to see
Waffle. And you just you're going to like, you're going to look back on this time. And I
I know you know this and be like that brought us together and made us stronger and you will have
zero regrets about it. And I just like love, I'm going to say it again, following along because I'm
like, oh my God, where are they now? Oh my gosh. This is beautiful. Holy shit. I am so jealous.
So you guys are amazing. Tell everybody where they can follow along to see all your travels because
people will probably get like recommendations and inspired. And it's just like magical.
Oh, yeah, so my Instagram is at Fresh Prince of Balear with an E.

Yeah.
There's a lot of laughs out there, apparently.
