Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story.
Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge,
there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice.
And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am.
It's not just any audiobook.
This is a full cast performance.
So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry,
brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads sing is Mr. Darcy.
And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything.
Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix.
Talk about a dream cast.
Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics,
and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy.
And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels
so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
So whether it's your first time experiencing Pride and Prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again.
So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash Jane Austen.

Podcast One presents Off the Vine, Great Therapy.
Caitlin Bristow is going to answer your questions.
Drink to your confessions and hear what you have to say about anything Bachelor.
Let's shake it up some more.
Here's Caitlin.
Welcome to Great Therapy.
I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow.
Your session is now starting.
I'm pretty excited about this one.
I got some time today to talk with the man, the myth, the legend, Matt James, the Bachelor.
I've been wanting to talk to him for a while.
Pretty excited that ABC.
Let that happen.
Finally got the chance to do so.
We dive into this week's episode.
What his favorite moments are so far.
I remember asking him, I'm like, okay, where is the ear tugs with Abigail?
Remember those?
He said at night one that he was going to get some ear tugs.
We hear about if those happen throughout the season.
We rapid fire a bunch of questions because I only had him for 40 minutes.
Why does he have a beard right now?
Does he believe Victoria has a big heart?
Would he go on another reality show?
Would he go on another dating?
show, which tells you a lot, what's his favorite date so far? And what does Tyler bring to the table next week? And he answers the most important question. Matt, are you happy? I hope you guys enjoy my chat with Matt James. Oh, P.S. He totally shows me his feet. Hi, Matt. What's good? How are you doing? Oh, my gosh. I was so good. I was just having to full-blown, like, PA panic attack because I bought a new computer and I was like, oh, it's perfect. The screen's bigger. I'm just going to set it all up. And then right before I
came on it like shut down and wasn't going back on and I'm like what the hell so I opened up my old
computer and now I just seem to be having problems but that's okay I only have you for a short amount
of time and I got to make the best of this because I can't believe ABC is letting me do this and I'm so
excited um first of all you are doing an incredible job as the bachelor because I can't even imagine not
having that little like like season of kind of understanding what's going on to jump into being the lead
There's so many things that you realize as the lead alone, like if you have been on the past season or not, but it's, you learn so much from being on as a contestant first. And I was going to ask, do you wish you had that opportunity to be a contestant first? Or do you feel like it was better for you to go in a little bit blind and naive?
That's a great question. You know, I think that, and first of all, congratulations, I hadn't talked to you since you had won Dancing with the Stars. That's awesome.
you. Oh, this whole thing?
That's awesome.
You know what, Caitlin?
Having had Tyler go through it, I felt like I was a little bit more equipped than the normal person anyways because I had seen how he had maneuvered through everything and what he had to deal with.
I don't think that going on the Bachelorette would have been necessary, having had those conversations with Tyler, Hannah, Sean Lowe, everyone that I talked to before.
but if I didn't have that relationship with Tyler
or I hadn't had those conversations with former bachelor,
bachelor, vassarette alum, then I would have been eaten by the parents.
Yeah, I know.
I mean, you do regardless.
So it's nice to have someone to prep you going into it.
But what was the one piece of advice that Tyler gave you that really like,
while you were going through the season, you're like, thank God he told me that.
He just, and this is so generic, basic, but whatever.
He just said, always be where your feet are, which is just like,
remember where you're at and don't make more of the moment than you have to.
So when I'm dealing with these things, I'm just like, I'm just going to approach it like I would
any other situation.
It doesn't matter that there's other women here and cameras here.
Like, that doesn't change who you are as a person.
So I try to take that.
I mean, you're not dealing with a lot this season.
So my gosh.
I feel like there's certain times where this is where I'm like, I don't know if you've watched
the show before.
I'm sure people ask you this all the time.
if you've watched or not before, but like, did you know what you're getting yourself into?
Because I don't know if every season I say this, but this, the bullying and the drama,
I'm like, I know there's usually drama, but I don't know if they're just focusing more on it this season,
but were you like surprised at how much was going on, especially watching back?
So I don't think any conversation I could have had would have prepared me for what to expect going into that.
So the conversations and information I got before was the best that anyone could have done.
and I'm extremely grateful for it,
but you can't learn how to drive a car
by someone telling you, just got to drive it.
Oh, amen.
That was, like, when I came off my season,
I was like, why the shit did no one prepare me for this?
And then I talked to Andy, who was The Bachelor before me,
she's like, do you really think I could have, like,
put all this in your head and, like, told you really
what to prepare yourself for?
Like, it's almost better sometimes to not know the full extent
because I don't know.
I think it takes, it's like you want to watch somebody maneuver
through these relationships the way they would in real life.
You don't want them to seem fully prepared.
Like that's kind of the fun of the show is it being so relatable to somebody's dating
life on steroids.
So I have to ask also, I'm so into facial hair.
The beard looks killer on you.
And I have to say that when I came off my season, I had a full like PTSD panic mode.
I had midlife crisis and I dyed my hair black and I went all like dark on everyone.
And I was like, I don't even know who I am anymore.
What's with the beard?
You know, the beard is, the beard is in right now for the Nets.
The Nets need to bring a championship to New York.
And until they do, the beard stays.
Nuh, like forever until they do it.
Yeah, so I'm banking on it being this year, you know, it's in the summer.
So maybe a few more months.
But if they don't, then it's going to be a long year.
Do you have money on this or just a beer?
No, this is my fanhood.
This is more important than money.
This is for the city in New York.
I love it.
Oh, my gosh.
That's awesome.
Well, I appreciate a good beard.
okay do you believe well i'm just going to touch on her for a second because i don't want to spend
too much time on victoria i'm sure we all have enough already do you believe she really has a
big heart i think everyone does it just it just has to be tapped into it's a it's and and i felt
like kind of at fault for that you know it's like i did i not prod enough in terms of like really
getting to the root of why she was acting out like that and um it could have been a a great learning
and teaching moment for her, but you can't want that for someone who doesn't want it for themselves.
That's so true. I actually said when I was watching, I was like, something in me just wants to
hug her and be like, what is actually happening and what, like, what is hurting inside of you to make
you act this way? Because it felt like kind of a protective thing or she was like, I'm going to
go in as queen and I'm not going to get hurt that way. And then she, I mean, obviously got hurt
Anyways, but I wanted to know if like, I love that you said everybody deep down has a big heart because I
definitely believe you and I agree with you on that. But it is about how you can tap into it.
I just, you don't have time, right? You don't have time to, to, you want to see the hearts right from
the get go, not have to tap in. And you want that to be later when you're like in love, right?
You know what I mean? And yeah, to that point, it's like you don't have the time because there are
women there who are ready to open up and have that heart that is going to be
is going to be open to being loved. And you don't have enough time to work on and mend some of
those hearts that have been broken. Especially if those hearts that are broken are being
projected in a nasty way, you know? Yeah, that's tough. Yeah, it is. I applaud you for the
toughness that you're going through. But I was going to ask you because of all the, I mean,
you've handled the bullying so well and all that crap that's going on. And it seemed very genuine.
And you're like, what is happening? I'm hearing this. Like, what's going on? What if,
I don't know if you're engaged or not, and I know you can't tell me, what if your fiance
that you picked at the end was part of that drama during the season? What would that look like
to you afterwards? That's another good question. You're bringing the heat today.
I only got half an hour.
I'm like,
whiff,
boo,
it would look something like grace and humility
and trying to take the larger picture and pick out if this was a moment in time
or if this is who and what this person is about.
But ultimately,
uh,
you hope that you have a good sense of character and what's going on and
hoping that the truth will ultimately bring itself to the light.
And it did in this case and I'm confident that.
it does in most situations that's good yeah because i mean it would be you don't really know right
you're you're watching some of it back for the first time and also you don't know as a viewer is that
like you said a moment in time was there something we're missing was that like an edited moment
where we don't know the real truth because we all know that has to happen for tv so yeah that's
great answer matt um and you mentioned on this last episode that you were falling in love with rachel
And that's usually like a later in the show kind of thing.
But I saw it.
But like while I was watching, I believed it.
Usually I'm like, shut up.
But I was like, I believe you guys in that moment.
But you've said that you've never been in love before.
So how did you know that feeling of falling in love?
I think it came to a surprise to a lot of people.
And partially because a lot of those moments that we had shared with each other hadn't been, you know, aired a lot of what was being showcased.
in these first few episodes was we saw come to a halt last night.
So I'm hoping going forward that it's a more cohesive story that makes sense when things like
that are said.
But, you know, it's, it just feels right.
It's not something that someone told me, like, are you got to go in there tonight,
like tonight's tonight.
It's like, I hadn't felt that before.
And when you feel something like that, you want to share it with somebody.
and it's a good feeling.
Yeah.
Someone reciprocates it.
So, yeah, now that was, that's, I mean, that's like a little bit over the halfway mark.
And I'm really starting to form relationships with women.
So that's why I needed Tyler to come in like he does next week to just reaffirm with me that I'm not crazy and that what I'm feeling is real.
All right.

This is Austin Vine, grape therapy.
So nice that you've got someone like him who's like a brother to you to be able to come in and keep you grounded and talk to you and understand your body language and really know how you're feeling about these people.
because I would have done anything to have that.
That's all I felt like I needed at a certain point.
And it usually is during the halfway mark,
like somebody to come in that really knows you and keep you grounded,
and be like, are you sure you're feeling this way?
I could see it in your eyes in here and like kind of remind you what you're here for.
Is that kind of what he does in the next episode?
And do you discover anything from seeing him?
Just affirm what I'm thinking and just can keep me on that right track.
because someone who has, again, been through it and seeing the highs and lows of what comes
with being in that position, I just needed to talk to somebody who wasn't a producer,
you know, and I had that opportunity.
And it's everything I needed.
Yeah, that's so nice.
I feel like that's a game changer.
If you can talk to somebody like that, that's, I'm really glad that you got that.
And as you said, you're halfway now.
Are you more relieved that the love stories are starting?
happen and the drama's kind of like washing its way out or are you like more nervous for the
second half of the show because look I'm only saying from experience but if you're with somebody
it is so hard to watch back and and relive all these moments that you're probably past by now
because it was recorded however many months ago um so are you more nervous for the second half coming
up I think that everyone's ready to move past I think everyone's ready to move past the pettiness and
and showcase a little bit more of the romance.
And I sure am.
And that's why I'm excited about having all that behind us and moving forward.
Absolutely.
Yeah, it's exciting because this is where I really start.
Like I get excited for Mondays or usually on Mondays like the first half I go,
oh, okay, I have to watch.
I have to get through it.
And then this was the episode of Monday where I was like,
you really, now how do I say this?
Did you shine?
You shone.
You shined.
I'm trying?
Fine. I like it.
You were just really like, Jason said it too.
He was like, you're just a very well-spoken bachelor.
You're very humble and you treat everybody with so much respect and it really comes
through.
And it's really nice to see.
So good for you for doing that.
And I was wondering because everyone felt such a instantaneous connection with you
and Abigail from the beginning.
Obviously, she got the first impression rose and she's.
a fan favorite and we all love her, but we haven't seen any hidden ear tugs like you guys said
you would. Now, did they happen? And we just not seeing them because we need the ear tugs.
The ear tugs are there. But again, there's so much that I'm assuming that Post has to deal with
that we're probably missing it. You know, it was something that was between us and we would sneak
them to one another. And I don't think that it was so subtle that we might have been able to evade a camera
here and there. That's so funny. Is it strange because you've never had this experience on TV? And
I mean, the first time I stepped foot out of that limo for my first time, I was like waiting for
music to come on and like, I thought it was just going to be exactly what you saw on TV. But then
you realize how many people are behind the scenes, how many people are picking these dates,
how many people are watching you make out? Is that just like something you got used to through the
season or the whole time, is that why your eyes were open? You're like, who the shit is watching
me right now?
you know what that you couldn't have been more spot on like when obviously i haven't gotten
out of the limo before but you think that there's some like DJ who's going to be like all right
like next up it's like no it is dead quiet like it's like it's like I'm coming out like
it's just this drawn out process that you're just like building this anticipation and
I wouldn't have traded it for the world like it was such an incredible experience
but in that moment, I'm just like extremely nervous, making sure all the right things, but
it's so much, it's just so overwhelming. And then you have this like such a long pause that
feels like the longest pause in history when people are coming out of the limbo or when
you're waiting. What, what, how awkward was it to watch with your mom when dildo girl came out,
who by the way is probably my favorite girl this season? Um, to be honest with you, it really wasn't
that awkward because she, she broke the ice. Like, I was so nervous. And,
And when she came out and did that, I couldn't help but, like, how do you not laugh?
Like, how do you, like, it's just, like, yeah, people take themselves too serious.
And when she did that, I was like, like, what, why am I so nervous?
Like, this is going to be fun.
Why am I nervous when girls are coming out with dildos in my face?
That, like, that is a good icebreaker because I have, like, such a dirty sense of humor.
And I'm very offside.
And I just like that kind of humor.
And I had that kind of humor coming out of the limo in my season.
and I said something very inappropriate.
And so when I saw her do that, I said, I tweeted.
I said, mark my words, this girl's going far.
And she might even be the next bachelorette.
And I think my tweet is going to age well.
Hey, listen, I can't deny or.
Confirm.
I know that I have had an incredible time with Katie.
And I think that as people are patient, they're going to see more of her.
Good.
I love that.
She's incredible.
What has been your favorite date?
far?
My favorite day, hands down, was that first group date, the Bradzilla, just because I saw
the women, like, had been super reserved and they're just, like, trying to, everyone's
trying to say the right thing to one another.
But when it became a competition, like, the gloves were off and they were just their true
selves.
And I saw how much of a competitor everybody was, which was, which was nice, you know.
I think that's good.
I like when the competitive side comes out, although I'm sure you got all the trolls or
people coming after you when it was like a violent date and they act like you were like,
hey, guys, what I want to see is women punching each other in the face.
That's my idea of romance.
And then the world thinks that you came up with that.
And then everyone gets mad at you.
And why the violent dates?
You're like, okay, it's not my idea.
I don't even need to say anything else because you said it all.
You just said it off.
I know.
It's been happening for years.
I made my guy's box as well.
and one guy ended up in the hospital and I was like so bothered by it but everyone came after me like
I came up with the date but yeah some of us know Matt it's okay uh with your experience now and
going through all of this and overnight basically would you ever consider another reality show
like it could be like dancing with the stars like something like that or are you like
I mean I need to take a knee well after watching you on dancing with the stars I don't know if
there's a space for me on that.
You're kind.
I don't know if I'd be able to do a dancing show,
especially after the credits of that episode a few weeks ago.
But never a reality dating because this has been incredible.
And I don't think that I'll need to go on another show.
Okay, great.
But no, I hadn't even thought about it.
There's so many things that interest me outside of that.
Like, I want to get into hydroponic farming.
and there's a lot of things that fascinate me about the time that we're in in the world.
So I don't know if I'll be back on TV.
I was going to ask you that just because, you know, people don't really realize the opportunities
that they can get from coming off of the show and you can, you know, really take the wrong path
sometimes and sometimes you can be smart about it.
And I feel like you're a highly intelligent man.
I wanted to know because I feel like you're the kind of guy that would go after something
you're passionate about something you'd want to learn more about something to give back.
So I was going to ask what your plan is for when this whole thing is over.
You know what?
And these are conversations.
I had a bunch of conversations with Jason and Evan.
And they've been incredible mentors and making sure that I'm staying in the right direction
and not doing stuff that makes you look like a cheeseball.
But in a perfect world, I would have my own hydroponic farm.
And I'd start to put them in a different earth.
urban areas across the country and start to develop a sense of food security for places that
don't have access to healthy organic food. So that would be the goal because I just, I think
it's important. And I think hydroponic farming is the future of agriculture. So if I have that
opportunity, that's where I've been focusing a lot of my energy right now. That's, well, then you
did the right job with the manoeuring, shoveling, and get all that stuff. A little did they
know.
Seeing who could hold down the fort and a farm life, that's, I mean, the bachelor, when I was on
the bachelor, he was a full-blown farmer.
So we had, like, dates like that, too.
It was pretty funny.
But you want to see, like, I mean, that's the kind of beauty of not traveling to all
these exotic locations is you kind of get a little more of a realistic expectation of
dating life or being with somebody.
You're not, like, blind from all of the romance and extravagance.
So I kind of like that aspect of it.
I mean, I don't really notice a difference on the seasons because they always come up with
these incredible dates and none of us are bored watching okay right right yeah no they they do a really
good job and the emphasis for me uh was never the travel because that'll always be there but
get how many like when are you going to have 30 plus single highly intelligent qualified
women to pursue in one area like yeah like I don't know I don't never again there's science
behind it too I mean there they know you
you know, they've got your psych and like they take tests and personality tests.
Like I really do think that there's a science behind it that could make some relationships work,
which I think is really cool.
And did you have these kinds of conversations with the women?
Because I know we see a lot of like the, you know, we're getting to know people,
what makes you you, all these things.
But did you have like the important conversations or will we see some of those later in the show of
how you grew up and how you treat money or where you want to live?
about the farming like do you have those kinds of conversations or maybe that happens in the fantasy suite
so those questions were answered throughout after parties cocktail hours and one-on-ones i have no
idea if they're going to be part of the story that's that's told in the end as you got them i got them
yeah and that's really what uh after it was like it was similar to the prayer you know the prayer uh when
i prayed for the women that first night i i didn't know if that was going to be something that
they put on the show. And I didn't really care. What was more important to me was for the women
there to know where I stood and, uh, and where I go to when I'm feeling how I was that night.
And, um, I took that approach to everything. I'm like, if this makes TV, if it doesn't,
whatever, but like, you need to know where I stand on XYZ. And I have, I have a feeling that all
the important things will be, uh, be expressed. So I can't wait. I love the important stuff. I've done
with the petty stuff we all are you are i feel like the girls are we're all ready to like start
the real relationships and get down to it and hope okay i mean i know you maybe can answer this maybe
you can't i'm sure everybody asks you but that's just part of the routine but are you in love are
you happy how can you answer that question in a way where you don't get in trouble i am very happy
good good okay very happy is good i can see it in your eyes you're not lying to me you are very happy
We don't know what that means, but you're very happy.
Okay.
Okay.
If there is one thing I've realized this year, it's that there's no place like home.
From hanging out on your sofa with a glass of wine to a candle that brings back some memories,
home is just such a special place.
And Jenny Kane is here to help you turn those everyday moments into something truly special.
I will say that a candle is something so simple and small that truly makes my house feel like a new home.

I'm thinking lately about self-care and what we can do to take care of ourselves, both
mentally and physically. And one of those things that I've personally incorporated into my daily
routine and actually have for a while is taking a multivitamin. Simple, easy, makes me feel at ease
knowing I'm putting some good into this bod, but I will say not all multivitamins are made equally,
and that's exactly why the one I take is ritual. They're the brand I actually know I can trust.
Plus, I just enjoy taking their vitamins because they're minty fresh. Definitely a bonus. Ritual is
pretty much the multivitamin reimagined. It contains all the key nutrients and forms your body can actually
used to help fill those gaps in your diets with no shady extras. You'll also always know what nutrients
you're taking and where they come from thanks to their transparent and traceable supply chain.
It's super easy when it comes to ritual. They're delivered to your door with free shipping always
and you can pause, start or cancel your subscription whenever you need to. They also now make
vitamins for different life stages like ones for teens, which I think is cool. I actually sent
some to my niece. Do yourself a favor and get on board the ritual train like I have key nutrients

now we're going to get to the fun stuff I'm going to play one game with you um it's it's called
how do you proceed and I play it on every podcast lately it's it's um it's basically it's
straightforward I'm going to put you in some hypothetical situations and you tell me
you would proceed okay love that let's do okay you're having an intimate one-on-one with a woman
you're really starting to have feelings for when all of a sudden she asks if she can have a moment
off camera with you she proceeds to explain that one thing that's really important to her is her
man's feet and she needs to see her's close up and personal before she accepts a rose how do you
proceed so um staying off property um i had to shuttle everywhere i had to shuttle from my house to
the chateau where a lot of the women were staying. And I became very friendly with the drivers and
with the transportation. So I was friendly with Reggie. I was friendly with Pedro. And I would just
reach out to them directly and have them have her leave because my feet are, it's a non-starter. I have
bunions. I have like my big toe sideways. My fourth, it's, it's, it's. It's, it's. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's,
It's a tragedy.
And I wear socks to the pool.
Like, I'm that guy.
Like, water shoot.
Yeah, it's bad.
So you won't show me your feet right now is what you're saying.
I'll show you my feet.
Yes.
I got to see.
Oh, yeah, that toe is a little crooked.
It needs to be like this.
Yeah, but that's not bad.
You made it seem, what size are your feet?
Is that personal?
It is bad.
It's really not that bad.
No, you're, you actually have quite nice feet.
Really?
Well, maybe just over Zoom.
You're being nice.
camera is not and has enough pixels it's not picking up that bungee maybe maybe the camera is very
forgiving because those don't look terrible and did you know oh maybe you're about to find out now that
there's a site called wiki feet or celebrity's feet are on them you know what's funny i had never heard
of it but i heard the women being like i don't want to end up on wiki feet wiki feet and then now
all i'm seeing is wiki feet it's like it's i'm actually terrified because i lost a toenail
during dancing with the stars and my one toe is like I've lost a toenail it's not cute
oh no I don't have pants on so I can't show you actually you're going to pass you're going
to pass and everyone knows that's how that's that's what podcast seats for this is why it's such a
beautiful thing to work from home I don't have to put pants on and now I don't have to show
you my gross toe that is hilarious well played well played uh thank you
Um, okay, next one. Tyler Cameron comes to visit the house to give you some advice and lead a group date with some of your remaining women. The date leads to an awkward realization that Tyler has had a one night stand with one of the women you're falling for. He tells you this has happened. She confronts you later that night to speak about it further. How do you proceed? Um, it, you know, it's, it's easy. You have to send them home because that's a person who really cared about you, uh, wouldn't do something like that. And, um, it honestly helps.
you make the decision-making process easier because it's one less person you have to try to
figure out that's your person because if they're willing to be so drawn to the next shiny
object, then there's going to be something shinier than me at some point.
Ooh, I like that.
That's been like my biggest fear throughout all my relationships in life.
And I feel like that's finally what I don't feel with Jason.
Like I'm like, he's not looking for the next best thing.
Like, he's got it right here.
I love that.
Yeah, it's amazing.
Okay, next one. It's fantasy sweets, and you obviously could not be more excited. However, when you're spending some time with your first lady, she admits to you that she actually came on the show with a boyfriend back home, intending to get some IG followers, but now is really, truly, sincerely in love with you. How do you proceed?
Dang, that's a great question. Why does it happen?
Does not happen to me. Okay.
It doesn't happen to me.
God, man, because you want to get people of the doubt.
And if they came there with a bad intention,
but you've changed their thought in your falling form and they had a boyfriend,
I've got to assume, I've got to assume that I would be that boyfriend at some point.
You know, I would be, again, that gets back to the shiny object thing.
And when there's quality women that you're courting, like, it just makes it easier.
It's like you, that would mean that you had two other women that didn't have boyfriends,
hopefully that you would be able to focus your energy on.
So, yeah, that would be tragic.
I can't imagine.
That would suck.
Wouldn't that suck?
I always am very honest about this with why I went on The Bachelor.
And it really was not to find love.
Like, I was like, I'm open to it.
Like, if that happened, that'd be great.
But I was so, like, I was like, I'm too tough for this.
I'm not going to cry.
I'm not going to fall in love.
I'm just here for an opportunity and then like week two.
I was like, I love him.
But my intentions, I didn't have boyfriend or anything.
My intentions were like, I'm open to it and I hope that happens.
But I'm here for the opportunity.
And then like literally week two, I was, they had me.
You know how those producers are.
Okay, last one.
It's night one and you were waiting for all your beautiful women to arrive halfway through
the first limo.
Your most recent ex-girlfriend gets out of the car and asks if you'd be willing to have her
join your season as part of the cast. How do you proceed? Oh, man. I'll say this. If it was
an ex-girlfriend in like college, high school, I'd probably say no just because the way I went
about dating back then, didn't really leave for a very amicable breakup.
Like, it just was very immature relationships.
Yeah.
But the older I've gotten, the relationships that I've had at this point, I feel like maybe not
to the extent of like social media followers, whatever, but I feel like women came there with
that very guarded, like, I'm tough, I'm not going to do this, I'm not going to do that.
And like you said, like you fall victim to the experience.
experience, like there's, you're going to crack because you have to be vulnerable in these
situations or it's not, like, why did you come? Like, it's, you put too much on hold to not
give it your all. And when you give it your all, you really open up and put yourself out there.
Say you didn't get engaged at the end, but Sarah came back and that's who you are in love with.
Oh my God, that just came to me. What if that happens? We met Sarah. Okay, I'm putting it out there.
know spoilers but that's just a thought that came to my head okay obviously you can't say anything
whatever moving on my last question is what are you the most afraid of post show with your person
if there is one hypothetical here i guess and what are you most excited for what i'm most afraid of
is that is if if that person or if it just becomes influenced by like what
society wants our relationship to be opposed to like going at our own speed uh because i've seen
it happen and uh that would be my biggest fear the thing i'm most excited about is potentially
live in that time out with that person uh potentially hypothetically and just being able to
enjoy time together with someone you know yeah absolutely that's it's really fun it's a fun time
after to be able to, especially now, it's like you can do all these Zoom calls. You don't have to
be pulled in every different direction. You can actually just like spend quality time together.
I'm so excited for you. I think you are just an incredible person. You're doing an incredible job
as The Bachelor. And we love watching you. And Jason and I are going to force you and your
hypothetical partner to go on a double date with us when you're off the show when we're ever in
the same city. But are you doing anything fun for a Super Bowl or are you into it or no?
I'm going to see Jason in a few days.
Oh, you are?
Oh, good.
Okay.
Well, make sure he's behaving and.
Yeah, he's going to, yeah, he, he'll know.
I'm missing out on the, I think he's going, he's going to be playing golf and doing
something that I wanted to do with them, but I'm going to get dinner with them when I get in.
That's awesome.
Yeah, I'm like, all eyes are going to be on you, Jason.
You better watch what you're doing.
I'm just kidding.
I trust him so much.
But, yes, okay, you guys have fun.
And is there anything else that I missed that you wanted to talk about or that you wanted
to say are you like katelyn get off here i want to eat my good no you i mean this is this has been so much
fun i could do this with you every day i appreciate you having me on okay well you know what let's start a podcast
