Dylan with a big mouth.

She lives right here in Austin, Texas, though she's constantly on the go and exploring
new destinations, as you can see by following her on the gram.
So excited to catch up with her today, please welcome to the podcast, my friend, Olivia.
Hi.
Hey.
I thought you say Jason.
Jason and Olivia.
We decided to do a little reunion because just over a year ago, it was the three of us.
so weird and we made it so weird for you look how far you all have come and so I was like that'd be so fun
to do a year review and like I will never forget that from that day how awkward I felt to this
day dad you felt awkward it was really awkward yeah why did you feel awkward I was like should I
leave like Jesus you need a minute yeah I it's so funny it's so funny now to think back and
listen to that podcast because obviously I brought Olivia because I was like I don't
on it was like a what buffer yeah you're a bit of a buffer always but i also love having you on
the podcast so that that helped too yeah um and then it's just so funny now that it's like that's how
we met plus it's not like that was like a set-up dater like it's not like we knew that we were gonna
hit like kind of hit it off and even thereafter like yeah it was like flirty but like i don't know
there was like a long period of time before anything really came from it but sparks were flying
which i didn't even realize until people listened back to the podcast and
And everyone's like, oh, my gosh, the chemistry, the chemistry needs to.
And I was like, I think the funniest thing is that people kept writing being like,
you set this up.
And I was like, no, I didn't.
I was there when it happened, but I had nothing to do with that connection whatsoever.
Yeah, I didn't even think they, because I remember when I brought the wine, I brought
wine and I brought two glasses because I thought it was just like that was your thing, having wine.
And I didn't even bring a third glass because I didn't even know you're going to be there.
No.
So it's not like you set that up.
Yeah.
And then I drank a lot and was supposed to.
That's a full coincidence.
I ripped shots before the face.
It was so fun.
That was fun.
And we have to take another photo because I'm wearing the same beanie today that I was that day.
You did tell me this was a recap.
Oh, I didn't wear the same thing by any means.
Well, that's because you were in a full-blown suit.
You were.
It's also tough to live out of a suitcase for a month.
I remember that.
Yeah.
Oh, thank you.
We're at a studio in Austin right now and we sent out somebody to get us wine because the three of us together are just kind of like pieces of shit.
No, we're shot.
Is anyone, everyone turned it off by now for sure because there's no energy.
Yeah, we really got to stop up.
But this is real, relatable to you know, I just like, you know, when we're traveling, I love traveling, but traveling as often as we are.
Like, it's really tough when you're doing like 48-hour turnovers.
I didn't realize you guys hadn't been home like at all.
Like you're still just going.
So I haven't been home since October 31st.
Let's, I don't know when this is going to air, but it's the 21st of the.
November today.
21st November, yeah.
So, and I've been gone since the second.
And then between the two of us just doing all this traveling and drinking and not
sleeping properly and eating whatever we want, you've been really good actually about
working out.
But between that and Olivia works at 4.45 in the freaking morning.
It was not like I wanted this.
Yeah.
No, nobody asks us for that shift.
Let's just, I love my job.
I love you, Delta, but they operate on seniority, not like merit.
Right.
So if someone bumps you and they want your shift.
shift you're bumps you're bumped you're bumped so your shift starts at what time i'm there about
430 but i clock in at 445 so what time you have to wake up then i wake up at 3 30 wow my gosh
every day it's when you go to bed 7 630 which is why i got all these messages being like how did
why did you not go to kb's live live show are you guys in a fight and i was like i wish it was something
exciting like that but it's because i'm in bed right now yeah we're really fighting all right so
Chris Harrison was telling me about this crazy party Hulu through in Beverly Hills with all the
biggest reality TV stars from like every show. And now I have to watch the commercials to see what
happened like everyone else. Extreme FOMO here. Luckily for you, Hulu has the reality TV you love.
So start your free trial today at Hulu.com. Okay, last time we recorded as well, we were, it was
Colton season was airing. Oh, man. And we, I think we had theories or anything. Yeah. I'm just curious what I
thought. We thought it was boring at the time. It got really good, but we were all a little bit
bored with it. Yeah, I actually was very excited by the end. This is not the time we first met. This was
in Seattle, right? When we recorded it again? What was going on at that time? Oh, was that it was
no, it was you had just been on the season. Oh, yeah. So that was, that was late October.
So Colton's season wasn't airing, but it was filming. Oh, so it was the second. It was not as we were in
Seattle. Yes. We were in Seattle. And you guys were like established as a couple. Oh, okay. Okay. That's
when we were watching it so what uh what do you think that he's still with cassie are we surprised
because i'm not i'm not either he's like committed i just think it's funny that last time we
podcast we were talking about how boring it was and then it got really good and i remember the first
time i met them and the last time i met them was at your podcast in denver yeah and i was like wow
i kept looking at her being like you're so pretty i know and colf is really pretty too they're both
very very pretty and very into each other like i'm very they're so in love we were just with them
at the People's Choice Awards and I just like sometimes sit back and watch couples just because
I like to just see how they like body language, how they communicate, how like, you know,
I like to sit back and watch it.
And they are just like the way they look at each other and just they're, I feel like they're
very, very much in love.
Yeah, I think so too.
Yeah, it's cute.
It's cute.
It's pretty cute.
What's going on in your love life, Olivia?
Tell me, crickets.
Jason
Okay
Really quickly
You know that interview that just came out
Where the guy farted on live TV
That's what it sounds like Jason's doing right now
On this leather couch
Yeah you keep moving down
We'll have to move up because the microphone's in front of me
No no
It's the fart gate
As someone who like did news anchoring
He could have easily just dropped his phone
On a table or something
And it's not it could have been a fart
I don't know
I mean
I just
I did a lot.
I had to fart many times probably as an anchor and I never, like, ripped a fart.
I can't imagine.
Let's, but listen.
Yes.
And also, if you're going to rip one, like, I wouldn't, you can definitely do like a silence or
P.P.7.
Totally.
But you don't know what it's going to be.
I don't know.
Can you replay it?
That wasn't even the one.
Oh.
That's not a fart.
I don't even think that was the interview.
okay that's enough has has anyone like interviewed the guy been like did you fart it's
wait we can we can talk what is that oh white white white white pino grigio code red code yes
pino grigio or no so sorry preferably from the new zealand region anything but if it's
i mean we prefer spades three but of course anyway from new zealand yeah that's i was thinking
about it that well that guy when he did fart i just was like that's more but you could tell in his
face he looked uncomfortable maybe it was his body language was very tense and then he was more relaxed
after anyways your love life don't think you're don't think we're getting well there's nothing to
talk about so let's keep talk about farting we're good um i think you can control the sound like if it's
i think you can control whether you're going to like let one go you're going to like slowly
stomach issues i think you can still what was y'all's first fart around each other
i don't know but it was really funny when jason i remember you're
I feel like you've told this story before.
Probably.
I've probably asked you this because I'm 12.
We're very open in that world, though.
Really?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Remember last time we did the podcast with Ben?
Ben was like, yeah, I've never heard in front of Jessica.
Oh, yeah.
And I was like, Jess.
Jess.
She's so cute.
No, we're not getting past this.
There's nothing to say, honestly.
As if you don't have a crush on someone.
That's a crush.
Are you dating?
I mean, I was before I had to wake up at 3 a.m. every day.
Yeah, that kind of.
Yeah.
That dampers things a little.
I did one, like, brewery afternoon date, but I'm just like, well, no, I'm not.
I was.
I was.
Unsuccessfully.
Unsuccessfully.
What was that?
Unsuccess.
Do not have the name names unless you want to.
Well, I'm sure it's in your Facebook off the vine group so that I don't actually have to say anything.
Is there some discussions going on?
Well, unfortunately, a podcast guest that I had on whenever this comes out last week,
maybe before.
Everyone was like, that was like Kaylin and Jason, but with you.
But my only question is, did the podcast come out yet?
Yes, it's out.
Oh, it's out.
And everyone in their mother, if you, my Facebook group, well, I mean, I don't know,
but every comment when I posted the link to it, it was like.
In your instincts, were there some, was there some sparks flying?
I mean, yeah, but I'm dumb as a rock.
Like, no, you're not, do not say that about yourself.
Like, sometimes I think my dog is flirting with me.
Like, I don't know.
what flirting is anymore so um my dog but yeah every comment was like screw the content that i worked
so hard on it was only like oh it was like a first date it was like kately and jason he's so into you and i'm
like we haven't talked since the podcast so i don't think he's into me so who who is it
do you want me to say it so you don't sure his name it's a great name is pain lindsay wow
pain that's a power name it's a power name and he does a bunch of
The WWF player?
One of the bigger, you know, forces in true crime, which is my favorite genre.
Mysterious.
That's my favorite genre, too, like, thriller.
And you don't know Payne Lindsay?
No.
Wow.
I'm bad with that stuff.
You haven't listened to Up and Vanished?
I have, actually.
Yeah.
Wait, didn't, oh, no.
That was Cleo.
I was like, didn't we do this on a road trip?
That was Cleo.
Yeah.
Yeah, so you guys, look, he laughed a little, and so I was like, I'm making him.
laugh um is he single yeah is he single i and we're he lives in atlanta he lives in
which we call him right now well cause i do have this number do you want me to pretend like i'm a dating
service here was what i was like trying to do not to like get an in whatever but i just and it's true
um i'm going to atlanta in two weeks for my final flight attendant interview yeah the big day
and then if i get it then i have to go to Atlanta for two months to train so um um
You ready for the interview?
Well, I was like, oh, am I ready for the interview?
I'm totally, that's a total detour.
Keep going.
We'll talk about that because I know you need to like hype me.
Yeah.
But, yeah, so anyway, I was like, oh, you know, I'm going to be Atlanta.
I'd love to tour your headquarters.
Is that what you said?
Stop it.
You should have been like, I'd love to tour your headquarters.
Is that what the kids are calling in these days?
Yeah, Cyril's like, where are you going with that?
What headquarter are you touring?
What an idiot.
But he was like, oh.
yeah yeah totally yeah come and I was like yeah and then that was it so are you going um she has to
well I mean I'm going to Atlanta I don't know if I'm gonna have the balls to be like hey can I do her
your head but you must have done some some creep a leap in like as he's okay so well I don't know
he was married and then he admitted on my my podcast that he's not married anymore which I already
knew oh okay um but I don't know if he's single I have no idea well in case he is and he's listening
Oh, gosh.
Wait, what's his name?
I'll find out if he's a real here.
Oh, no.
Are you tweeting him or something?
Yeah, we'll find out.
No, I'm just going to do a little research.
I'm going to do a little deal breaker.
I think I owe you something in return.
I think he's dating someone.
You do?
I do.
Oh.
Well, in case he's not, what if he follows some revealing girls on Instagram?
What if he's, you know, we've been there before?
He kind of, not really.
He follows a lot of bachelor people.
Oh, but like a lot of Bachelor people listen to up.
vanish so he's probably
But what if he's following the girls who have their tities out?
He doesn't.
I know it to be true.
But also, I didn't think that What's his name was one of those people.
So I don't know.
That's true.
Actually, don't know.
But anyway, yeah, I don't.
Payne Lindsay, right?
Yeah.
I mean, I'm not seeing any type of evidence.
Nothing.
But he's also not, he's not like entertainment.
Like, he's not someone who's going to talk about.
But you would have a, if you're dating someone, you would have in your last 30.
Post, you'd have one.
It's like, it's not like light-styley and kind of hippie.
I don't know.
What if he doesn't like your dogs?
Is that a deal breaker?
One of our friends, Brandy posted a video of Gemma last night, and one of our friends
commented it was like, is that a squirrel or a rat or a duck?
And I just commented back and I was like, if you can't love my dogs, you can't love me.
Yeah.
I agree with that.
I mean, it would be a huge deal breaker for me.
I can't imagine any guy would be like, yeah, a hairless dog.
Great, yum.
But they are so cute.
Yeah, but they don't have to.
You don't have to.
You know, you spent the day with Gemma.
I love Gemma.
She's a little, like, great.
Yeah, she was great.
And she's like, for some reason, I kept thinking of her as, like, a Nicole Kidman.
I don't know why.
That's just who she reminds me of.
Like, I don't know.
Nicole Kidman.
Wait, who was just telling, oh, is it Brandi was just Nicole Kidman, right?
She was with her?
Wasn't someone just Nicole Kidman for Halloween and Nicole Kidman followed him back?
Oh, no, that's Paris Hilton.
Oh, Paris Hilton.
Very big.
Yeah, Brandy and I call each other Paris and Nicole and we were like a scene from The Simple
Life and of course, Paris Hilton commented on Brandy's photo and said, that's hot.
Oh, I love it.
And she didn't even see it.
I was going through the photo like four days later and just stumbled upon Paris Hilton commenting
on it.
And I was like, Brand, did you realize?
So then I go to Paris Hilton's page
And I look at who she's following
Numero uno is Brandy Cyrus
I was like
Are you kidding?
Of course I followed her
commented she didn't follow back
So it's fine
Even though I was Paris
Oh
So it's fine
I forgive her
I forgive her
Paris Hilton opened my Snapchat once
And I got very excited about it
How?
Why did you tag
Can you do that on Snapchat?
I don't know
I sent her a Snapchat
Maybe she was a bachelor
She's a bachelor fan
Oh you sent it to her
Yeah
And she opened it.
And I was like, oh, God.
That's so cool.
And I, you know what I said?
11-11, make a wish.
Because she always does that on her Snap-Jet.
She always, it's 111-11.
Did she respond?
I have not been on Snapchat in a long time.
I don't really snap anymore either.
Not a snapper.
All right, Vino's, I want to tell you about a new brand from the co-founder of Jimmy Chew.
I'm talking about the next generation luxury footwear by Tamara Mellon.
These shoes are redefining luxury and breaking rules.
They're handcrafted in Italy in the same factory as other luxury designers.
There are no retailers they just deliver directly to you.
They also offer complementary shoe care with every single purchase.
Everything is guaranteed with repairs for up to two years.
They also offer free shipping and returns and no limit to when you can return them.
Zero financing available through a firm because luxury should not be exclusive.
I believe that too.
Their fit quiz makes it so easy to find your size based on other brands that you wear.
celebs like Michelle Obama, Naomi Watts, and Chloe Kardashian are already wearing the shoes.
So my question to you is why aren't you?
Shop Tamaramelon.com slash vine for $100 off your first pair through the end of December and use code vine at checkout.
That's T-A-M-A-R-A-M-E-L-O-N dot com slash vine.
We'll be right back with more off-the-vine, grape therapy.
You're listening to Off the Vine, Grape Therapy.
that we've publicly talked about something super embarrassing.
It's not embarrassing.
Like, this woman I work with today, she is like the all-knowing about men.
She's just, she's like, oh, he's not a guru.
He works in medical sales.
He's not the one for you.
And I'm like, how do you know?
You just, you don't even know.
So what did she say?
Well, she, well, she listened to the podcast.
And she was like, I think he is in a relationship.
And I was like, great.
Based off the podcast.
Yeah.
Off the photos.
I'm not seeing any evidence of.
But did you go to tagged photos?
Yes, I did.
Okay.
Interesting.
Would you date anyone from Bachelor Nation?
And if so, who would it be?
That's a good question.
Peter Weber.
Well, no, that's off limits.
Yeah, because he's probably going to be engaged.
Damn.
You're right.
Unless he pulls a Brad Wilmack.
That's true.
Also, that would be really cute because, like, the whole flight thing, Delta connection.
I just, like, my dream is not my dream, but it would be super great to marry a pilot just so that we could travel together.
Oh, a pilot?
Yeah.
I could see that.
And, I mean, for any airline, but preferably my airline.
I'm, like, trying to think of, like, do I know any pilots?
We chatted, not, like, romantically, but we chatted a few times before he left for filming
because I asked him to be in my podcast.
And, of course, ABC wouldn't let me, obviously.
But I just said, oh, I'm a bachelor person.
And I also work for Delta.
And he was like, no way.
We went back and forth talking about our bases and, like, all that stuff.
But it was just so great to have, like, an airport.
It was really sexy.
I mean, it helps that he's cute, too.
Well, yeah.
I'm surprised you haven't met anyone in the Delta Sky Lounge.
All the traveling and interactions with people.
I've given my number this month to three people.
At the SkyLunch.
At the Sky Club.
No call.
What?
It's the purple pantsuit.
And the fact that I can't put makeup on at 3.30 in the morning.
I find the purple pantsuit endearing.
It has a nice shape to it.
I like it.
I think it's like really cute and classy.
and, like, I think you rock it.
It has a lovely shape.
The peplum is very slimming.
So how does, you know, walk me through this a little bit, though?
So at what point, like, are you writing it on a receipt?
Are you, like, how can I refill your coffee?
The last one I got.
Put it under the coffee mug?
Like, this guy just walked, he walked in and I was like, whoa.
And he kept coming up asking kind of dumb questions for, like, a diamond.
Like, you know what you're doing.
You're a diamond medallion, my friend.
You know exactly.
You know what time your flight's boarding.
or what terminal you're you know things like that and of course my friend was like he's just coming
up to you on purpose and I was like quiet and anyway I wrote my number on the back of a boarding
pass that he didn't need I was like oh I printed your boarding pass for you and he was he kind of
looked at me on his way out like I didn't ask for that but I was like oh here you got an upgrade
he didn't but um I wrote out of tea do you think he saw the number I have to think he didn't
because why would he not call me right just kidding do you ever look for the ring on the
finger always constantly yeah there
was this actually there was this one guy who also my co-worker was like he's super into you and he
was a regular afternooner on Thursdays flying up up to the west coast and uh he hadn't been there
in a while yeah and it turns out he was like oh sorry i just got married that's i've been gone for a
minute so we were like great job that's why i'm kind of questioning her when she's listening
this podcast being like he has a girlfriend because i'm kind of like you've been a little off
lately so yeah that's i'm now i'm intrigued now i want to do some digging couldn't you just
ask him i fear rejection i fear rejection but it wouldn't be rejection it wouldn't be like
rejection would be him being like i don't like you and this is never going to happen that's rejection
if he has a girlfriend we're not even friends so it's like it's weird well what if you just ask
him to get like coffee when you're in Atlanta that's what i was thinking yeah
Because either way, my friend was like, even if it's not romantic, your brains or just like bing bong, bang, bang, bong with podcasting and true crime and stuff.
Like, I would love to just pick your brain.
Yeah, totally.
So when I'm there for my interview, I should be like sleeping and studying, right, but I'll probably be like, do you want to go to?
I really hope you get the job for being a full attendant.
I hope so, too.
I think you'd be great.
Yeah.
I mean, I feel good about it.
It's been a really long process.
Yeah.
Like, who would have thunk?
oh yeah four four months of interviews and like waiting weeks to hear back and everyone else is hearing back and you're not hearing anything are they behavioral based interviews so it's basically like situational yeah so yeah so this happened tell me about a time what did you do what what actions did you take how did the situation resolve itself whatever which are actually like quite difficult like you have it's all about preparation yeah
And you have so many examples, especially working in the airlines, like a time when you made a customer's day.
I was like, I feel like I do that every day.
That's like my goal when I walk into work.
So it's hard to pinpoint, like, one moment, you know.
So, but I've gotten this far, I don't know.
And then you go to Atlanta and it's like this seven or eight hour hard day.
And no one really knows if they're doing good or bad until you get it or you don't.
Yeah.
So I feel like Jason's really good at giving advice for interviews.
For interviews, yeah.
Well, for behavioral-based interviews, what you're supposed to do is take the company's core mission, which I'm sure there's like five values.
And then you want to think of exact examples that align with those values.
And then what you could do is you can modify it based on the question.
And it's okay to fib a little bit in those scenarios.
But you have to be prepared with like five power examples of like leadership, customer service, execution, you know, being like on task, like whatever it is at the core.
values are that's a big one then the big one I always say is like first impressions are
imperative if you screw up a first impression it takes 17 acts of remedy to cure that
17 is that true 17 acts scientifically like you got to nail that first three to five minutes like
who's your story what's next why you want to be there the value bring to them and how you can
help make the organization better especially like your your alpha has to be on even just your
especially as an FAA when you're like the face of Delta like your hair I'm getting my hair
like blown out the day I leave I'm going waking up and then leaving so I'm like
and so nonverbals are so important too right the way you walk the way you sit how you shake a hand
are you shaking a hand palm up palm down um you know there's there's another thing out there
if you're fidgeting with your watch or you're taking lint off of your jacket that's a sign
that you're highly frustrated with like where the conversation's going um there are like so many
the eye contact, especially today, is so important.
No one when they're talking in interviews and or being talking to looks in the eyes anymore.
But you think there's a such thing as too much?
Because sometimes I'll be doing, like, when I interviewed in Austin, my interviewees, there were a couple.
They were like, woo.
I was like, do I have to look away one time?
Yeah, you don't want to do the whole stare at down.
Yeah, I was like, I was seeing into your soul.
Like sometimes I'll look at their nose or look at their forehead.
But as long as you're making the eye, I take the other thing.
in our world is we say like and um so often yeah and if you're in customer service and you're
starting your sentence with um you're not speaking at all with confidence right and if you're saying
like you're not articulating or thinking about what you're doing before you're doing it so everyone
out there has been it's interview or not try and see if you're saying like or um often because
it changes the whole impact of your delivery and no matter what you're doing it's like i'll do a podcast
and I don't think I said like at all in the moment and then I'll listen back when I'm editing and I'm like whoa I could not listen back I'm so glad I have somebody else that does my editing because I do say um a lot and some people call me up for it I think I've gotten a little better but it's so when you say it says that you don't speak with confidence I'm like but I do I just I just um a lot sure especially like professionally if you're saying the word um it's like you're uncertain about what you're telling you're telling you're
like a customer or client and uncertainty drives obviously a lack of confidence so that was what
they're saying. Yeah, I've just been nervous because I've, every flight that I've taken so far,
I'll go to the flight attendant and be like, hey, how was your F2F, which is what it's called?
Sure.
Can you have any advice? And all they say is, first of all, they say, you'll be fine. I'm like,
what does you'll be fine mean? Right. And then they'll say, just be yourself. What is just,
if I'm myself, like, I don't know how. Do you know who's interviewing you?
No, no idea. All you know is that the day is like filled with.
current FAs but other than that they intentionally they tell people do not tell anyone
else about your experience so I've I've asked people and they're like just be yourself
I guarantee you can find it online like glassdoor.com oh glass door I guarantee yeah
hallelujah oh this is torture I have to drive to Dallas so I can't drink yeah I want to talk
about the podcast yeah you don't want to pull a Sam hunt here you guys you guys have your
moment. I'll pour up. Oh, thank you. I love it. A brown paper bag comes in with red solo cups
and we're like, woo. Here we go. Just like that. True off the vine territory. Just seeing wine
just got me more energetic. That's a little sad, isn't it? A little sad. You can have a little
splash. No, no. Okay, just kidding. Yeah, I'm not going to drink. I know, boring. Unless our
friend, who's your name, Devin? Evan. Evan. So, do you want to
a little splash wine?
Yeah, why not?
You've got a red solo.
How can we teach ramen to drive?
And Dallas is a pretty tough drive.
There's just not a whole lot going on.
You go through Waco, which is kind of cool because most people stop at Magnolia, which is
Chip and Joanna's store.
Yeah, if you had a minute, but Jason's probably not down.
It's right in Waco.
Yeah, he's like, no, we're good.
Maybe.
I'm so shot.
I just love that you're not flying to Dallas.
Yeah, because Delta doesn't fly there.
It's because Delta. I'm so, I heard.
And we need ramen, yeah.
I heard.
Like, just to come, so we went Phoenix to Austin, which should be a very quick, easy flight.
But with Rahm, we had to go all the way up to Salt Lake City.
Does Phoenix have a direct to Austin?
No.
No.
Yeah.
But I don't care.
It's so funny.
Jason's dad said to me, like, just, you know, like, you shouldn't be taking all these connections.
It's just like not worth your time.
And I'm like, no, I am so committed to Delta.
All right.
So I've obviously.
been open about my anxiety. I do encourage others to do the same. I think mental health is
so, so important. We should all be open about how we're feeling, should be no shame. When I'm
feeling anxious and on the verge of a panic attack, there's really one thing that helps me, and that's
ramen, my dog, obviously, and that's what an emotional support animal does. I know he even
brings comfort to Jason as well. Madison, who is part of my podcast team, opened up to me recently
about her anxiety after hearing me talk about mine.
And she really wanted to get her dog, Eleanor, an ESA letter, but doing so wasn't easy.
And that's because while therapy is essential to mental health, it's also difficult to come
by for a lot of people out there.
Raman is my emotional support animal.
That's how I travel with him.
I wanted to help Madison make Eleanor her emotional support animal, too.
So we did some research online, came across surta pet.com, which is a telehealth company.
it connects you with a licensed therapist who does a mental health evaluation and issues a clinical
treatment plan. So if you qualify after your session, you can have the documentation necessary
for your pet to be an ESA within 48 hours. These are typically letters from a licensed mental
health professional. It was really important to Madison to have her ESA letters as soon as possible
with the holidays coming up since she plans to visit her family on the East Coast. So with an ESA letter
from her assertive pet therapist, Madison can keep Eleanor right on her lap to help her with anxiety
during the flight. If you guys are struggling with mental health issues and want to see if you
qualify for an ESA, get connected with a therapist online now by heading to surta pet.com slash vine.
That's C-E-R-T-A-Pet.com slash vine. Or use code vine at surta-pet.com for 15% off your
evaluation. I saw your diamond now.
I'm diamond, yeah.
Congrats.
Wow.
I'll never forget.
I'll never forget.
If we want to talk about recap, you want to talk about recap.
Yeah.
First time I met Jason, he was a silver.
Ew.
And when I swiped him in, I had to be like, thank you for your silver status.
Oh, boy.
That's so funny.
And now he's a big diamond.
You're in the big leagues now, babe.
Uh-huh.
Talk about a year of change.
I remember, like, after that date we had in Denver, I would go back to their.
airport and and Olivia would be like so where are you traveling and I'd make something up and
be like I'm going here here because I wasn't sure like would Kaelin and I like how would it
work would it not work but also like and then Olivia's not easy to lie to me because I'm like I actually
am looking up your flight and I see that you're going to Nashville oh I'm like can you see I'm
she knows I said nothing that's so funny no I really don't stock you guys but you were coming
and I was like what time are they arriving we were planning dinner and I said I they don't
think we don't have a direct flight so they're obviously coming in from
like a later so anyway it's crazy the reward programs like that like they get me so bad i check
my miles as much as i check like my bank account i'm so proud of you guys though i love it
us too i'm proud of us too we're already racking up the miles for next year next year yeah
it's just makes such a huge difference we'll be right back with more off the vine grape
therapy from the lady gang network and podcast one i dated a lot of gay men in my life maybe it's i
I didn't know it's gay and still you like you.
It's Showmance with Kevin McAil and Jenna Ushkowitz.
How romantic.

Hope you find friends as good as us.
This is Off Devine, Grape Therapy.
So do you have any good?
Confessions for us?
Oh, you should have reminded me to think about these.
Well, you can save it for the drunk dial.
We can confess on the drunk dial if you'd prefer.
You know, is the drunk dial we're drunk?
Yeah.
Okay.
We still got a bottle left.
We got to get to work.
We're a bottle two girls.
Jason, you keep talking and I'll keep chugging.
Okay, you chug.
Jason, do you have a confession?
Oh, I don't.
I am so confessed out.
I have we what has been the best confession on the tour okay go ahead last night there was hula hoops at the bar
oh you were at unbar-leavable yeah thank goodness you went there I meant to tell you to go there was awesome
yeah I'd love that down rainy is so fun but that's my favorite place on rainy it's great it's great
yeah um Jason was trying to hoop and I'm really good I don't know why but I'm a really good
hula hooper i could swing it from my neck down to my hips and back up yeah and i looked over and jason
was youtubeing how to hula hoop that totally was and and you're swinging your hips around like
really trying it's all strategy and i just i'm gonna learn and he was youtubeing and i've never tried
and you wouldn't let me put it on my story yeah because every time i can't do something or i'm
screwing something up kately wants to highlight it to the world i'm like did this one time not be out there
What?
Did you get mad about the influencer series?
Oh, when she was like, cheer for me.
What irritated about, so first of all, I thought it was, okay, you want to set it up?
Well, just in case people didn't see the story of mine, I did a behind the scenes of Jason Tardix, Instagram, and him trying to do an ad.
And it was very funny because you were getting very frustrated with yourself, and you'd put the phone and be like, all right, so we all know.
And then he put the phone down and be like, okay.
and then he'd like work on his lines and then he'd put it up and I caught all the
behind the scenes of him doing this and people thought it was so funny but here's the thing
with Jason is you you're very um you've you're very smart you're very intelligent you're very
well spoken all of your stories are very you know like you know what you're saying and you mean it
and you say it well where I'm like people love the little like um Jason flaws so what people
really loved was watching that and being like oh my gosh we love this side of Jason
So I thought it was funny.
I thought it was really funny, but my only comment to that is, like, the same reciprocation.
Like, literally, right before that, Caitlin was filming stories for Vancouver Candleco.
And I was in the bathroom dying because literally, like, if you give Caitlin a script, it will take her 30 times to do it.
And this is like, shit.
I hate this shit.
In my head, I kept thinking, I'm like, I got to film this.
This is hilarious.
But the way my brain works, I'm like, I know.
if I did that she would be upset with it so I don't want to like hurt her feelings so then I go
and do one for a company and it literally yeah I took like four or five turns but it was a no joke
like one tenth of what I just had to listen to and of course she's on there fired it out not even
like asking it was really it was really great my mom wants to be an influencer obviously
yeah who wouldn't want to be an influencer right but she always makes fun
of how everyone starts their influencing.
Hi guys!
I should go over.
Hi guys.
Everyone's been asking me.
All right.
So true.
It's so true.
So I'm like, Mom, you make fun of influencers and yet you're, she's constantly like, will
you tag me?
How many followers do I need to get?
She is set.
She wants Hello Fresh so bad.
So it's so fun.
I don't want to bring brands into it.
So, but I think when with certain brands, it should just be like organic places.
of like, hey, this is like, I'm really using this, and this is how I want to do it.
But then they give certain brands, give you these scripts that you have to adhere to.
And they want you to redo it and redo it.
And I just don't think that's the way to do it.
And Kailen always says to the branch, like, listen, this is the way I'm either I'm going to do it this way or like, we're not going to do it.
Because it's just too, Billy Mays like, hi, here's a dang for $2.99.
Hi, guys.
All right.
So.
That's so funny.
It's so true.
Man, what losers we are.
I hate it.
I love it.
I mean, Brandy was really getting on me.
About what?
She was like, you have not posted in a month.
Oh, really?
It's been a while.
What would it?
I just don't care.
I just like done with it.
It's amazing.
I think that's great.
And I also don't do things that where I'm like, yeah, take a picture.
What do you think about this whole?
I think there's going to be a big change in Instagram.
Yeah, the numbers thing you mean.
Yeah, what do you think about the numbers and likes?
I'm thrilled about it.
I stopped, I've fallen into the trap of like carrying very deeply about numbers and comments and then I fell out of that.
So it doesn't really affect me that much.
But I think it's really good for people that I know who are addicted to likes and comments and follows and comparing and all that.
So it doesn't really affect me.
Because when I was talking to Lauren and Molly from the kind campaign, they would say that girls at schools now are saying you can only hang out with us if you get a certain amount of like.
Oh, get out of here.
Girls are doing that 100%.
Oh, my, that's terrible.
I randomly was going down a rabbit hole, and I ran into some girls who go to my high school.
And they're all getting like 700 likes on the pictures where I'm just like, what the heck?
I was lucky to get 25.
And I didn't.
No, I'm just like, exempling myself.
Like, you know, we all had Facebook at the time.
And it was like, oh, wow, Billy said nice pick.
I know.
And now it's like, it's just so different.
It's crazy. I don't know.
So, yeah, I read some articles.
I heard some of the reasons they're doing it.
One is that pictures are no longer the future of Instagram and stuff videos.
So doing this is going to allow them to further compete with, like, Snapchat and TikTok
because people will be more emphasized on stories and videos as opposed to pictures.
So that's a big one.
And then I heard they were saying that because there is no measurement of likeness,
people will post more often as opposed to, like, worrying about, like, the perfect time or the
perfect photo or things like that they'll post more often knowing it's not like a competitive
thing it's just so funny that because like they'd release this whole IG TV thing and I don't
ever look at that ever yeah it's tough and I've never done it and so I don't maybe video is taking
over I don't know to anyone at home everyone's like like well we don't get paid on Instagram so
I'm so I think everyone is dealing with the change of social media just in general and like how
it impacts their life totally because it's made like dating so
much harder too you know it's just awful wait why is that why is that this is a naive kind of
why is that i think it's like the paradox of choice like okay i see what you're saying you know
why would i choose jenny when i can swipe tomorrow and billy is going to be hot as hell and single and
blah blah that's why i do that we talked about this is why i like the video concept just like
like it's not an influencer but anything i like the video concept it's so much more raw yeah
like it's like real like today i was scrolling and i saw an ad for
for Face Tune 2.
Oh, this is bad.
And I, and it's showing you the comparisons of what you can make yourself look like.
You can make your eyes bigger, your, like, your lips bigger.
You can do, change everything about your appearance on Face Tune 2 to be more beautiful.
And it was like, the way they did the ad was really, really tacky.
Ew.
Yeah, it was, it was not good.
I mean, I'm all about a face tune with whitening and brightening, but to actually go in and like
make your eyeballs bigger.
Like someone's real face, essentially.
positioning it like you're unattractive and then they do all these changes to it to make
her attractive it's just disgusted like what a bad ad that was that was the first thing I said
there was this girl I don't I wish I remembered like her handled this was a while ago so probably
people like I know this already but there was this girl who photoshopped herself onto a bridge
in Paris and posted like loving Paris like it's so great and the Photoshop job was like so bad like
it looked like she was hovering on the and everyone called her out and she like she didn't even delete the photo she's still like oh now I'm famous but it's can you imagine you can literally edit yourself to be places that you're not now like it's just it's stupid as every google it was really it was I do think the face tune too you can do that for videos though probably very unfortunate because you're saying it's a lot more raw but you can actually it's coming up all right so during my fall crawl tour this month I was telling the audience that I was on my period and that guys just don't
realize how awful periods can be that every single month you guys every month you have to deal with
it why don't more people understand periods and want to do something that makes it better you know
i mean 50% of the world has one that's why i love the sponsor because they're actually
making that time of the month something i do not dread so thinks is period proof underwear that
absorbs your flow up to four tampons worth it can back up or even replace tampons pads cups anything
you're using and they look and feel just like everyday underwear plus they're washable
and reusable so you can feel good about switching to a more sustainable period too.
Thinks is on a mission to empower everybody with innovative solutions and social change so every
purchase gives back to their give rise program where they're fighting for better access to
puberty education, menstrual equity, and more. That's pretty amazing if you ask me. I'm trying
to be more open about my period. Like I said, people just don't get what women go through
each month. It's harder for some. Things is making it much easier for me. Their undies are
super cute, super comfortable. I swear they feel like an everyday normal pair, but they're allowing
me to go about my day as if my period isn't an issue because it isn't when I know I have back
up in comfort. So to learn more about things underwear that absorbs your period, visit period better.com
and use special codevine to get $10 off your first pair. I need relationship advice from you guys.
Like what's one tip that you've learned if we go through this year?
But so you're starting about, are you saying like in general relationship advice or for someone
that's like in the market trying to find someone today and I was mentioning it was the woman who listened to the podcast and we were kind of talking about it and she's like you have to stop looking and I was like if I look any less I will literally be like concave I'm not looking yeah how could I look any less right than I already am like I you're just open to it yeah like if it I have chemistry with someone sure you're on dating apps I am but I'm I'm I go on them and I never answer any messages and
you should see my inbox it's just a travesty of guys being like well nice knowing you because
I'll answer one time and then never respond really yeah so but yeah I guess just like you guys
weren't obviously really looking when you found each other and yeah I think my opinion is I think
that I was always I've always been attracted to people that are like very confident within their
own skin and I think that comes back to looking at yourself and saying am I like just happy with
where I'm at in life and who I am and what I'm putting out there because I do think you attract
what you are. So I think that's one big thing is like got to take care of yourself. Whatever that's
going to make you mentally happy, confident in what you are, what you're doing and how you're
doing it, I think just brings out a different type of energy and light that'll find something.
Yeah, I agree with that. It's the, the, what is that, the law of attraction? Like, you really do
attract better relationships, no matter what kind of relationship, if, if you're, you
you're in a good place with yourself like yeah yeah you'll get the job you want yeah you'll get
the guy you want i think i'm like getting there yeah like i'm making the right moves um and maybe
it's like right like right now i'm kind of realizing that i'm getting there and so i'm like
thinking about it a little bit more just trust me i've been in moments where i'm like i don't even want
get away from me yeah yeah not in the mood right but kind of maybe it's because i'm feeling like
i'm getting there where i'm thinking about it and then yeah obviously like bran has her man now and
And I'm like, we, shit.
They're so freaking in love to.
They're so cute, too.
And that, she wasn't looking.
It just, like, happened.
Yeah.
So I'm kind of trying to keep my, you know, anytime I leave anywhere, like,
dress like I am right now, even Brand and my mom will be like,
are you really wearing that?
But I love that because then you'll attract the right people.
I don't know.
I'm just overthinking it probably, but I just like to hear from.
I was like, I was like, dead ends are such a bad idea.
Like, I think so I was talking to Blake about this.
Just like, if you're.
he's like yeah it might be going on a day with this girl but i know it's not going to go anywhere i'm
like why at this point in your life you know that you want to find someone why for her sake
for your sake it's doing no one good right like why even but then you don't know but if you do i'm
saying a lot of people like we'll make comments like i know it's not going to go anywhere but
it's fun or whatever well i think i just have to get like out i'm paralyzed i think by fear
of rejection failure and failure yeah i get that because like you know i
I think I'm kind of old-fashioned, and then I'm like, I wish that one day, like, I would feel like, you know, pursued or whatever.
But, like, realistically, that might just not happen the way that it does in Hallmark movies when I watch all the time.
Oh, God.
Don't ever believe in those.
So sorry.
But I don't know.
Jason, you always have good advice for people who are afraid of failure.
I feel like we can end the grape therapy.
Yeah.
With advice on failure.
I just think that, like, failure is this.
There are so many people are driven by like intangible things that don't exist, that drive their life.
So like failure, in my opinion is just this, it's this like fake intangible thing that controls the decisions we make, what we do, how we do it.
And I think once you can have the confidence to just break through that and realize nine out of ten times, this imaginary anxiety you have, there isn't really tangible reality to it.
It can change your life completely.
I think that's really awesome.
your life, right?
Like, we think about how things are going to go before we actually, you know, know,
you know what I mean?
Yeah, totally.
Like, I have this, I'm a text pain.
I like you.
And he's going to be like, get away from me and, like, restraining order me.
But what if I said, I like you and he said, cool.
Right.
Let's try this out.
Why would I, why would I, why do we assume that he's, I'm going to get a restraining order?
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
And my thing is like putting.
That's what you were saying, right?
That's exactly what I'm saying.
My idea is like if you're afraid of failure
Put it like everyone thinks like okay
They come up with these ideas their brain runs
Put that on paper and then look at the reality of the situation
Like is that actually real
And if that does happen what are the actual consequences of it
Likely it's nothing
Right
People let that drive their happiness their career
Everything in life is based on these false
Like pre-concepts and notions they put in their head
Which is just
That was really
I do believe in that though
you are a little buddha i feel a lot smarter and like more at peace yeah yeah from this thank you
well anyway yeah i can keep going i know i'm like it's okay because we we are going to go everybody
can listen more tomorrow on the drunk dial so i don't i can't believe i'm going to be on the drunk dial
on the drunk dial i have to think about a confession all right i'm going to give you one challenge
i want you to live in two days 48 hours 48 hours without it all being afraid of failure almost like
liar liar you know how he couldn't lie that for two days whenever you're afraid to do something
because of failure you absolutely have to do it so someone if my co-workers like go over to that guy
and say hi just do it I have to do it just go do it 48 hours for 48 hours and see the difference
wait let's challenge everybody out there to do that yeah 48 hours let's all like right in and
okay how it went and did it go as badly as we thought it did probably not probably not
that's it then if it did you probably learn something you're probably a better person because
you still have great friends and family who will support you through this and you have
Your health.
$48 challenge.
Let's go.
She's still beautiful.
I like that.
Okay, 48 hour challenge to everybody listening out there.
And then write in and let us know how it went for you.
Did you find a man?
Did you get a job?
Did you?
Imagine we just changed so many people's lives with that one piece of advice.
It started so poorly and it's gone so much better.
Olivia is dating someone next week.
Meets the man of her dream.
Talk to me in two weeks.
Okay.
I like how we totally reversed this podcast.
The first podcast we had were like,
like okay Olivia don't talk
Caitlin and I just Caitlin and I drill
in Olivia with questions like tagged even
This is good though because how many times
have I done your podcast and I'm like I'm so sorry
I feel like I've just annihilated your entire podcast
No but you never do
But this is really peaceful
This is this is good
I'm really glad we have so much
We had this together
Let's do this same now let's drunk dial
Yeah absolutely
