Starting point is 00:01:31 Caitlin Bristow is going to answer your questions, drink to your confessions, and hear what you have to say about anything Bachelor. Let's shake it up some more. Here's Caitlin. Welcome to Great Therapy. I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow. Hey, minehouse, I have a great combo to share with you this week with the one and only host of Love Island USA entrepreneur and one of the best follows on social media. I'm talking about my friend, Ariel Vandenberg. I friggin love her, and we were long overdue for a little catch-up on the old mic.
Starting point is 00:02:01 At the end of 2021, she launched her very own brand, and we got to talk about Rel Beauty, what the process was like for her to start and launch her own company. I'm really proud of her. We're also talking about 2022 goals, sharing and rating some confessions and doing some minor, minor wedding planning. This is such a fun and also informative episode, since she shares a lot about behind the scenes of starting a company. I know you will love it, so please enjoy Ariel. You look hot also I look okay I was so late to this because look at me what you look great okay Caitlin get your winged eyeliner and perfect face out of here I was late because I did a wing
Starting point is 00:02:44 eyeliner so first of all we've already talked about some of this stuff on our Instagram live but so many people when I said I was podcasting with you wanted to hear the behind the scene story of you meeting Justin Bieber over Halloween while you were dressed as Justin Bieber because it's just kind of like a full circle moment. You dress as Justin Bieber every year, but tell everyone the story and how much Justin really means to you. Oh my goodness. Caitlin, I don't even know where to begin.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Justin means the world to me. So here's the thing. I want to say that I might be like one of his very first fans ever. So when I was in high school, I found a video of Justin Bieber. on YouTube. I'm telling you this video had maybe 200 views. Stop. Like, and I remember sending it to my friend and being like, this kid is so cute. It was like first when like YouTube was like first a thing, right? Like no one was like searching YouTube's. And I love when little kids can sing really good or like little kids can act really good. I think it's the funniest thing to me because
Starting point is 00:03:53 you're like, how? How are you so good at acting? How are you so good at like singing? It's just like the cutest. So I find this video of Justin Bieber on YouTube and I sent it to my friend and we were like, oh my God, he's so cute. And he plays the drums. Okay, little did we know. He's literally the biggest pop star on earth now. And now that same video has like a trillion views not actually but it has like one trillion views 13 trillion views no it really has like I don't know like 10 million anyways and you were there from the beginning I've been there from the beginning and then about five years ago or maybe six years ago I decided the best costume ever would be to be Justin Bieber for Halloween because like I kind of feel like I look like him just in general and then when I put
Starting point is 00:04:48 the wig on and all the things like I can really do it but I was him one year and I confused a lot of people every girl was attracted to me every boy was attracted to me I was like wow I'm living my best life like everyone liked me and then um I decided to keep it going and I've been Justin Bieber for the last five years of Halloween and it's it I decided to dress like him every single year like that version like that year is Bieber so like Last year, I was Drew House Bieber. The year before that, I was wedding Bieber. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:22 So, like, every year, I just do that version of him. Yeah. This year, I was Holy Beaver from the Holy Video. Yeah. And I walked into my friend's house who's close with him. And Justin was hiding under pillows waiting for me because he knew I was going to be there. And he knew I was going to be dressed like him. And I walked in and I saw from a distance.
Starting point is 00:05:43 I was like, I knew he was dressed as like the bear, his, like a teddy bear. Yeah. I knew he was dressed like that because I saw his Instagram before we had gotten to this party. We had, yeah. And so anyways, I walk in and I see like a bear jump over the couch. And I was like, oh, I was like, no. Anyways, that was the greatest thing ever. And then I met him, posted a video.
Starting point is 00:06:05 And the next day I had my first text message on my phone was from Caitlin that said, what did he smell like? I really wanted to know. I just feel like he would have this certain scent of like, oh he does like is it like a little bit like of a musk that's like very masculine but also fresh and i feel like a sweet fresh scent like a fresh man he smells like a fresh man out of the shower yeah oh not us talking about justin beaver's scent no not us that wouldn't but also us not gilin texting you first thing in the morning like what he smelled like gosh why am i so creepy because it's beautiful it's
Starting point is 00:06:47 being creepy is fun and I feel like more people need to be creepy that you probably shouldn't be more creepy but like I feel like more people more people need to be like less who gives a shit like right we're all like I can fan girl I'm 35 and I'm such a fan girl it's fine yeah I agree it's fun wait and then oh yeah and then you told me on our live but the song holy came on and you guys were in a circle yes dancing obviously did just something come over you where you're like this is my moment it's time to shine i thought to myself this may be the only time i get to really live my truth yeah and so holy came on and i everyone was literally in a circle and i just decided to go full fever moment and i i did power slides on my knees
Starting point is 00:07:40 oh my knees were wrecked the next day yeah and worth it but committed oh i i committed to just like actually performing as him for him and it was perfect and he was like laughing and pointing at me and I was like this is this is my day oh my gosh I wonder if not what happened for me one day hopefully I honestly like just need to say too like he's truly such a sweethearted person and like such a nice guy and yes he's like probably the most famous person in the world right now yeah but the thing is is like I feel like for so long he probably had so much shit that he had to go through. Now, I just want to say that he's actually like the nicest person on Earth. Well, he's Canadian.
Starting point is 00:08:28 He's Canadian, Ariel. Of course he's the nicest person on Earth. Yes, of course he is. Oh, I love the Canades. I love you. I love the feeds. I love Jim Carrey. I love Sean Mendez.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Oh my God. I'm such a Canadian freak. Yeah. That's I am too. I feel like Canadians really like. Do me proud every time someone, like Ryan Reynolds is Canadian. Ryan Gosling, everyone else you just said. I'm like, name one terrible Canadian.
Starting point is 00:08:55 I honestly can't. I can't. I want to find a terrible Canadian, though. I don't think there is one. I'm going to look up the worst Canadian. Are you kidding me? Oh, she's perfect. It's perfect.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Hold on a second. Googling terrible Canadians. Worst Canadian ever. This is going to be. Imagine my name came on? It's all Caitlin Bristow of the Bachelor of Franchise. Ranking Canadians best. Oh, this is weird.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Okay. You know what? I'm going to leave this one alone. Okay. But now I'm curious, but I'm going to do my research after this. Wait. People should just do their own research. It's actually funny.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Is it really? Wait, tell me. It's kind of funny. Well, I don't know. It's like prime minister stuff. Oh, political. Okay. That's a political thing, which I have zero clue about any Canadian prime ministers, but
Starting point is 00:09:50 Oh, wait, yes. Wait, my podcast producer came up with one. Nickelback, Chad Kroger, worst Canadian. But is he like, is he the worst Canadian? I feel like we can all get down with nickel back. He's not bad. He's just the worst out of all of them. Like Celine Diolemy top and Nickelback would be bottom.
Starting point is 00:10:10 That's all I'm saying. He's not terrible. Oh, we have Pamela Anderson. She's right in the middle. Oh, Emily Anderson might be the best Canadian. Yeah, she's up there. And she was discovered at a CFL Canadian Football League game. She was just in the audience and she got put on the Jumbotron and people were like,
Starting point is 00:10:30 she has to be someone. I love all Canadians, even the bad ones. Even the bad ones are just still America's best. What? Does that make sense? You know what I meant. You know what I meant. Okay, if you're a fan of romantic movies like I am,
Starting point is 00:10:45 and love films with beautiful cinematography, then you're going to love redeeming love in theaters January 2022. Okay, let's talk about what you've been up to lately because you launched something pretty exciting, something you've been working on for just a casual like three years. REL beauty. Okay, first of all, REL, so smart. You told me that you've been called REL for a long time because REL. But tell me and tell everyone what REL is. Well, REL is my beauty brand that I just came out with last month.
Starting point is 00:12:20 And it's going really well. It's super fun. I've never launched a product before. I feel like this has been a long time coming. It's weirdly taken an embarrassing amount of time to launch. I launched, you know, right after the craziest time of any of our lives, the pandemic. Yeah. And so, yeah, during the pandemic, I was working non-term.
Starting point is 00:12:44 stop on this. And to be honest, I told zero humans about it. Yeah, I had no idea. And not even my best friends knew that I was doing this. And I had a reason for that, which maybe we'll get into. I don't know. But REL basically started because I was constantly getting approached by people asking to, you know, go 50-50 collab on a product or they already had a, they already had a product and they want to put my name on it or you know whatever and in my mind i was like sure that sounds amazing and these products are great and these people like i'd love to work with them but i always knew in my head that i really wanted to start a line and so i wanted to just do it by myself and so i did and now here we are i have rel beauty and i started with the uh it's called the no da essential lip balm
Starting point is 00:13:35 and it's basically six different lip bombs there's five shades and one clear one and I started with those because I knew that I needed to create something that I couldn't leave the house without. And this is a thousand percent that product because I'm such a chapstick theme. Like I have to have chapstick at all times in every pocket. And I was like, I could never find a great tinted chapstick with with natural and organic ingredients. I couldn't find one that didn't dry my lips out or smelled like weird and gross and medicinal. I just wanted an all around like 10 out of 10 lip balm with some tint. And I made it. And I really feel so proud of it because I like did not let anything slip when it came to like the scent of it. It took me so
Starting point is 00:14:30 long to actually love the scent. I went through like hundreds of sense in like my sample. Oh, I saw your samples. You've got like thousands of samples that you went through to come up with the perfect one. Dude. And that was like, that's like formula, colors, like, cruelty-free, vegan. Oh, yeah, it's cruelty-free. It's vegan. It's gluten-free. It's like, it's everything that you want. And it's, it's honestly my favorite product. And I'm so excited that it's mine. And I get to put my name on it because it's mine and I made it. Yeah. Isn't that the best feeling when it's like you didn't put your name on somebody else's product like you actually are so proud of all the hard work that you put into it and made it exactly what you wanted it to be
Starting point is 00:15:13 and you can stand behind it and be like, I did this. Why did it take you so long to come out with it and to not tell your friends? I'm curious. Okay. Well, it took so long because I saved up for this. Like I truly did. Like I had to like save all of my money and it took so long for it to like actually happen because I wanted to fully fund it. I didn't want to. like have people you know putting money in and having a say in it because it's so important for me that it was my perfect product and that i'm going to stand by it because it's because i tested it non-stop and people like for me i believe in the product when the person who created it put their money behind it and create it i'm like nobody that does that is going to put out something
Starting point is 00:16:00 that they're not like fully proud of or like like yeah it's going to be the best of the best. Well, thank you for saying that because that's how I feel about other people and my product because I'm like, I would have never put this out if it wasn't right. I mean, I could have put it out two years ago. Yeah. And it just wouldn't have been perfect. I don't know. But yeah. So, no, the reason why I didn't tell anyone about it and I feel like this is like why I love it so much is because, okay, I have a weird thing with. telling somebody what I'm doing because then it takes the magic away from it. And I feel like I'm constantly coming up with ideas and things. But then I tell someone and then once it's out of me and
Starting point is 00:16:48 someone else knows about it, the magic is now anyone's. So like where I really kept the magic of rel all to myself, my mom knew and Matt knew. And then, you know, obviously the people I'm creating it with, which is one person. And it was just like my little baby that I needed to like nurture to life. And if I would have told anybody about it, then all of a sudden it's an annoying thing. Like, don't ask me. It's not ready yet. I don't know what's what time it's coming out. I don't know if it's going to be ready by Christmas. I don't know if it's a lot of pressure on you. Yeah. I don't know if there's going to have like if there's going to be, you know, a freaking whatever. The question, even when I started telling people
Starting point is 00:17:34 the questions were never ending and started to give me so much anxiety like I started freaking out like I told a few friends and they were like wait so wins the launch date and I was like please don't ask me anything like the magic is still there
Starting point is 00:17:50 but I told people like literally two weeks before it came out and even like my best best friend who knows me like the back of her hand had zero clue that I was doing this and she was like, you have a secret life? Like, what the fuck? She's like betrayed.
Starting point is 00:18:09 I was like, I'm so sorry, but I don't know. And I'm so glad I did it that way. I feel like if you have something that's near and dear to your heart that you are putting your heart and soul into, keeping it to yourself just makes you want to do it that much more. I don't know. I like that because I'm, you know, obviously thinking about things that I've done and it did put so much pressure and have so many extra like added voices asking questions
Starting point is 00:18:37 and then you start self-doubting and being like, wait, am I supposed to know that or when I don't know yet? And when you have it to yourself, you're like, well, it's up to me and me only. And I'm going to take my time and I'm going to make it right and do it right. And everything's going to fall into place when it should because it's up to me. Yeah, exactly. And like, look, like so many times. I wanted to be like, look at what I'm making and testing on people. But like the people that I did have, I was like testing shades on mat. Like my fiance had freaking every single color on his face at all times. I'm like swatching his arm. It was so fun because like we just, I had to do it with the only person that knew. And so I'm putting this like pink chapstick on him. And he's like,
Starting point is 00:19:24 this feels good and he's like smacking his lips is perfect well that's i mean you know it's good if your fiance can put on shades and be like wow i love it yeah he is addicted to obviously which is the clear one um he is addicted he never doesn't have it out putting it on i'm like he's obsessed i'm telling you i'll never forget um talking to my girlfriend who she went on like a skin journey of trying to get rid of her acne back like this is like 15 years ago and the medication that she was taking would dry out her lips so bad and she never once could find the most moisturizing and like all natural lip chap that we call it lip chap in Canada chapstick um to put on her lip she just couldn't they're like literally isn't one that exists out there that there's
Starting point is 00:20:21 so many things in other lip chaps that sorry I call it lip chaps. that either like make you addicted or dry it out or like do more harm than good and i've tried all of your shades now and every i get the addiction to this one because it really is and i'm not just saying this to like toot your horn well i would do that but like it genuinely is the most hydrating lip balm i know that you're not toot in my horn because it really is and like my friend my friend called me this morning she was like hey i like am putting on my rel lip balm right now and she goes i had to call you while i was putting it on she goes i never don't have dry lips and she goes ever since i've been using rel my lips aren't dry and i was like score i got
Starting point is 00:21:10 full body chills i was like that is literally what i wanted to hear because like i don't know that's that's the point of it it's freaking lip chap yeah it's lip chap it's lip chap it's so awesome I love that you took something that you know you needed every day, and it's beautiful packaging. Thank you. And now other people are going to benefit from it. Do you have any other products? No, this is probably a question. You're like, don't ask me that.
Starting point is 00:21:34 But are there other products you have on your mind for the future of REL, or is that going to be a secret? Oh, yeah. So there's a formula that's already done that now all I just need is the packaging for it and to kind of, I really want my next packaging to be completely eco-friendly. Like, I don't, I want, and like, we have great packaging right now, like PCR, you know, FSC packaging, which is great. I want it to be completely eco-friendly next time. So I'm looking for, like, the right tube for it and all of that stuff. Yeah, so that'll probably come out hopefully in the next few months.
Starting point is 00:22:11 I don't know. It's hard to say because there's all these, like, weird delays with the freight and all these things are happening. Crazy. Absolutely bananas. Yeah. But, yeah, once we get the packaging and everything, like, set, I'm going to put that in the tubes and send it to your house. Yay, put it in the tubes. Let it to me.
Starting point is 00:22:31 That's, yeah, there's, like, definitely so many products that I want to make. I just have to, it's hard to formulate, you know, like, I'm definitely going to have a lot more stuff in the pipeline. That's amazing. I'm so proud of you. I, like, what's your dream for a row? Like, what do you hope for? I mean, we're going to talk about 2022 goals. So what is your goal for REL?
Starting point is 00:22:52 Honestly, just that I see it in the wild. Like, I want to see REL at the grocery store. Like, not at the grocery store being sold. Like, I want to see a girl sitting at coffee next to me. And she pulls out Rell and puts it on and has zero clue that that's my company. Like, I want that to happen to me so bad. Has that ever happened to you where you're, like, walking down the street and you see, like, a girl wearing your sweatsuit or something? I've seen it with the scrunchies.
Starting point is 00:23:16 And, like, I just, like, in the airport, I remember seeing it in the airport, a girl was wearing a do scrunching her hair and one on her wrist. And I was like, do I say something or do I just enjoy this moment? And I just like took it in. I was like, I love that. Yeah. That's like, that's so cool to me. And I think that's like a sign of, oh, it's out there. Like that's just like such a cool moment. I feel like that you'll never forget. Like I'll never forget a friend of mine who came over. She was like, she knew that I was putting this out. And she was like, I really want to try it. I can't wait. And I was like, I'm going to let you try it. And she was pretty much like the first person to put it on because I finally had my products, um, that not my samples. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:23:59 I can't believe I'm about to watch like the very first person put it on. And so I was watching her and I'm like, this is so surreal. Like I'll never forget that moment. It was just like such a silly moment, but I'll never forget it. And it's like that where you'll never forget like seeing like scrunchies in the wild. Okay, your health goals shouldn't focus around a number on a scale or fitting into a certain pant size. What matters is that you feel good

This is Off the Vine, Grape Therapy. Well, you think about like all the. the people that are listening right now. I bet so many people have ideas or things that they've thought of that they want to create. But obviously, one, it costs money. You have to like put your heart and soul into it. It takes a lot of time. But what advice would you give to people
Starting point is 00:25:59 if they're thinking about doing something like this? And talk about your fears around launching something because I think people are probably afraid of failure. Oh my God. I thought I was going to fail like 20 times um i guess i guess like the only thing i can say is like keep going because and i this stuck in my head a lot um there is some entrepreneur i probably should know who said this but like some entrepreneur out there was like the people that make it are the people that end up actually doing it so like because it is such a long process and it is so hard and it's actually heartbreaking. Like, I've had meltdowns over random things being like, this isn't right. And you want it to be perfect, especially like me. I'm a total perfectionist. And when something
Starting point is 00:26:52 would go wrong, I'm like, well, this is just going to, you know, perpetuate, like, whatever. It just like makes everything worse. And so anyways, I think it's just that, like, keep going because if you don't do it, it's not going to get done. And then there's not going to be a company. I know that sounds so basic and but it no i i actually like that because it's sometimes it is just some a thought that's so simple that means so much more like it's not going to get done if you don't do it it's it's a simple phrase but it's a powerful like action yeah and i think like there are so many companies out there that have started and never made it to the finish line and if you're one of those companies then you're one of those companies and that and you know
Starting point is 00:27:38 know at least you tried and then you have to try again or whatever but like you just have to keep going you have to push through all the crap that it takes and and then it will turn out great and also like even on launch day like i something went wrong you know and it's like launch days are not going to be perfect no they've got every lunch day is hectic launch day is hectic yeah on my launch day i was supposed to launch like oh i was supposed to launch 50 times in december launching the day that i did i was like well maybe there's a reason for it like i take everything like that and i go hopefully it was just that it was meant to happen that way and that's all i can say oh but i will say here's another piece of advice because i feel like this this would have helped me is go with your freaking gut dude yes go with
Starting point is 00:28:25 your gut that is also another basic like simple thing so go with your freaking gut okay so this i'm holding my lip balm if you're not watching this but if you can see this Okay, this is my, my chapstick is blue. The tube is blue. The packaging is blue. It was not blue from the get-go. It was going to be pink and sandy colors with like black. And that was not really super trendy back like four years ago when I wanted to do this.
Starting point is 00:28:57 And then everything started becoming sandy, you know, pink and like fenty beauty and freaking skim. whatever. I was like, oh my God, I can't do that. So I have to do something else. And then I came out with like the blue and everybody on my team, I have a very small team of like one person. And I was like, I want to change it to blue. And they were like, oh, Ariel, like got to be careful. Like that could look weird. And I'm like, no, I think it's going to look sick. I'm not going to make it look weird. It's going to look cool. And I believed in it. And I'm obsessed with it. Like I wouldn't want it any other way. I love it. First of all, I love that, that shade of blue. and then the pink or like the shades when you you know open it with the blue is perfect it's so
Starting point is 00:29:44 pretty thank you it's like it reminds me of like um like there's something comforting about it i don't know how to explain it like it's like a like a little fluffy cloud well i have my little cloud guy on top of it but like really so am i allowed to like just keep going about this and just do you what happened okay the day that i decided i hated the pink i was like i i was driving through Malibu and Matt and I were in the car and I was I was in the passenger seat and I was like I wanted to be something different and I go I wish it could just be sky blue. I love the sky and I was like looking at the sky and I was like I just wanted to feel like the sky with the clouds. Those are my favorite things. I'm always pointing out clouds to Matt. I'm like look at that cloud. Look at that cloud.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Because you're a dreamer. I'm a dreamer. And so I was like I was like I wish I could just take that and put that on my face like the clouds in the sky make me feel so good and they give they like feel refreshing and I was like why don't I just do sky blue with clouds and that's my whole packaging is sky blue with clouds and um I wanted it to feel like very like surfer 70s vibe and I feel like that's what I got it's like you know you wanted to see a blue duck because you've never seen a blue duck before so that's why you exactly do you know what I'm saying no oh a cute up. I drew the duck blue because I've never seen a blue duck before. And to be honest with you, I wanted to see a blue duck. Well, it's an excellent blue duck. Congratulations. You just passed the first grade. Oh, Miss Lippy, that's so great. Billy Madison. Yeah, it was like that's just what came into my mind when you were talking about, I saw the sky that's blue and I wanted to make a blue packaging with clouds.
Starting point is 00:31:33 Wait, so I just passed the first grade? You just passed, congratulations, you just passed the first grade. Wait, how did you just nail that? I'm not sure. That was crazy, but like, how did you do that? People are going to think that was edited because it was such good timing, but I really was queuing it up because it was in my brain, and I just, I had it. I don't think you guys understand, like, this is not edited.
Starting point is 00:32:01 She just, like, came up with that. like a psychopath. You are perfect. Well, like, how did you just do that? I'm really impressed by you. My brain's weird. It's Billy Madison. I could honestly relate anything in the world to a scene from Billy Madison.
Starting point is 00:32:18 It's just my brain is just weird like that. Stop looking at me, Swan. Yeah. Yes. Everything like, Billy Madison. Yes, it is. Yes, it is. I'm really proud of you.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Okay, so you have these visions for REL. Let's talk about your visions for 2022, because I, always like to think about what I'm going to do and then I don't really do resolutions I just more think about what I'd like to accomplish and to try and be like a better person that I was the year before um but I know like the other day you asked me like what are you doing about wedding planning it's so hard and I was like I know it's so hard are you and Matt like in full blown wedding planning right now no I wish I like I'm not even joking you I like have nothing planned and it's so sad. I think it's really cool. I saw this post. I follow like this feminist account and it was like
Starting point is 00:33:08 people always just want to ask women about their weddings and having babies and we're not celebrating their like big career moves and like things like that. That's allowed to come first. Whenever you're like doing something in your life, marriage and babies doesn't have to be the top of your list because you're a woman. Like you can put your career first and then talk about the wedding after and that's what you did and I love that and um I'm here to help if you have any wedding questions no I can't help because I don't know anything well I think like I something that I feel like just friends in general giving any type of advice like where did you get your plates I don't know I don't know what you do I mean you're not even married yet so I don't know why I'm asking you where did you got your
Starting point is 00:33:54 plates but I feel like even those little details like oh well give me a vent a vent a vent for flowers or a vendor for like I don't I don't even know what I'm saying right now but I can't wait to do that with all my friends and get all of their people's vendors I can't wait to find out what linens you use so that I could use the same ones I am the worst at podcasting apparently you're like me I'm like this is this is classic Caitlin behavior over here wait I want to talk about predictions for celebrity couples for 2022 Do you think Kim and Pete go the distance? No. Me either. They're probably already done by the time this airs. I want to say maybe, and I only say that because, I mean, I love a funny guy. And I feel like Kim, we haven't seen her with a funny guy.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Maybe she really needs a funny guy. And what if that end, I mean, we all know Pete needs a Kardashian. So, you know, I think, what if they, like, end up just being the dream and just, like, the best couple ever? I think that'd be great. I mean, I'm really inspired by Courtney and Travis, so there's hope for everybody. I don't know. I love it. What about Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly?
Starting point is 00:35:22 Oh, I mean, they've already gone the distance in my book. They're so, I think he is so hot. And then. What he's same? his nose I want to kiss the tip of his nose I would like to poop it I want to boop it and then kiss it
Starting point is 00:35:37 and then boop it one more time for good luck A perfect little nose like it just it's like a cartoon character nose and I'm into it and then she is literally the hottest and you are her
Starting point is 00:35:51 I'm a Craigslist Megan she is so hot so like I mean they're literally perfect for you And, like, I know that Megan says they're, like, the whole twin flame thing. I'm like, they literally are meant to be together. Like, if you, like, just the two of them and who they are and how they are the way they are, are meant to be.
Starting point is 00:36:10 I feel like it's like, I mean, like Billy Bob Thornton and freaking, uh, and Luna Jolie. I feel like, I mean, not in the day are them, but like that, like, I wear the blood around my neck vibes. And you're like, okay. Yeah, not for me, but good for me. you. Yeah. I mean, these are just filled with Matt's blood. That red one right there, Matt's blood. The yellow one, his urine. Stinky's blood. Matt's blood and his urine. Oh, that's so romantic. What about Justin and Haley? Are they going to have babies in 2020?
Starting point is 00:36:54 Yes. Are you kidding me? Um, they are going to have babies. I feel like she she's like focused on like career vibes which I appreciate but she's got her man and she's like okay I'm gonna like she's so young like she's got all the time in the world but I feel like
Starting point is 00:37:15 I feel like I'm acting like I know them but like they're I feel like no wait and like she'll do her thing and then a couple years from now have a cute baby beaver. Oh my gosh a baby bebs I can't. I can't The talent and the beauty that's going to come out of that vagina. Seriously. Wait, are you, do you want to have babies?
Starting point is 00:37:36 Oh, I can't wait to have a baby. Me too. Oh, I can't, but let's get pregnant at the same time if the world is going to let us do that. Please, God. Yeah, please God. For babies inside me and Caitlin together. At the same time. And then have Ariel move to Nashville and then we can, babies can be friends forever.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Oh, that would actually be the dream. Well, I'm going to manifest it. I'm going to put it out there. I'm going to, yep, Mindy goes, enjoy your kid-free time, ladies. I do. I slept for 12 hours last night. I'm really soaking it up. Okay, obviously you're very familiar with the old confession thing that I like to do. But this time I've made my vinos give the confessions and you're going to rank them on a scale from 1 to 10, how good of a confession or bad, I guess. You think they are. They really delivered on this. So I hope you're not like a gaggy person. Because I gagged a few times reading them. You gagged while reading? Yeah, but that's because I have a throw-up phobia. So anything that has to do with throw-up, I'm like not okay. Got it. Okay, I'm ready for you.
Starting point is 00:38:40 I'm pretty good with stuff like this. When I was 10, I was in the shower, and I had to poop. So I pooped in the shower thinking it would go down the drain like pee wood. And it ended up getting caught in the drain. I started to shove it down, but it didn't at all fit. So I had to pick up some and put it in the toilet. Okay, she picked it up and put it in the toilet. After shoving some of it down the drain.
Starting point is 00:39:09 I mean, what am I supposed to be ranking here? Like how gross it is or how awesome the confession is? Like, it's so gross that it's a good confession. Like, would you rate that a 10 or would you be like, that's a 7? You were 10 and that's kind of, you didn't know any better. Yeah, I mean, I would say it's like a 7. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like when you're 10 years old, that's like I probably would have done the same thing. Now as a grown adult, I would give that a 10. But when you're 10, exactly. Like if you're picking up poop out of the shower at 35, you should honestly no more stuff. You know? I was moving when I was younger and my mom made me laugh so hard and I jumped in a cardboard box and just peed in it. Because I was young and I was like, I have to pee. I'm not going to pee. I'm not going to pee.
Starting point is 00:39:57 on the carpet and I had my mom laugh so hard, I just jumped in one of the moving boxes and peed all over it. And my mom was like, you couldn't have just walked to the bathroom. It's right there. But I was young. I was like, no, I couldn't. And this seemed like a better option. So I didn't poop in the box, but you know. There you go. That's, but could have if I wanted do. My husband and I had sex on my boss's desk while he was on vacation. Okay. That's cool. Yeah, that's like bucket list. I feel like that's out of a movie. that's so cool like did you shove all the papers off you swipe all the shit off the desk and like the paperweights go flying and you just like just wreck each other oh um well I would give that I'd get that a 10 for it being in your boss's office yeah that's that's like if it was in like his office or her office like I'd be like scandalous and kind of sexy but on the boss's table that's dangerous that's dangerous that's dangerous that's That's a confession right there.
Starting point is 00:40:58 Yeah. I poop my pants at Costco with my two kids under two almost as soon as we got in the store. A shirt gone wrong, if you will. I couldn't take us all into the bathroom and I was there by myself and we really needed diapers, not for me, L.O.L. So I just walked around in my shit pants and continued my shopping trip. Sat in them on the drive home too. Thankfully, if anyone smelt it, they probably assumed it was one of my two kids.
Starting point is 00:41:21 So embarrassing. Oh, no. Also, walking around in my shit pants. I like that part. So it got me. Walking around in my shit pants. Oh, wow. I'm going to rate that as a nine.
Starting point is 00:41:37 Okay. Because that's a great confession, but you did have two kids with you so that docks you a point. Yeah. If you were alone, you'd get a pretty 12. Yeah. Yeah. Like, yeah. That's fair.
Starting point is 00:41:50 Okay, that's a fair rating. Okay. When I was a teenager, I was having some issues with my butt. And then she put in, what are these, comma, parentheses, the whole part. There was a Vaseline chapstick in the cabinet, so I grabbed it and rubbed it in there. Then, of course, I put it back. And the next day my younger brother was using it on his lips to this day, he has no idea. That's a 10.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Yeah, that's a good one. That's a good. That's a good. That's a good confession for sure. I'm giving everybody really good ratings, but these are great impression. I know, I know. That is, that's bad. That's bad.
Starting point is 00:42:31 Oh, that's really bad. Why would you just go? No, why? I would never grab anything out of anywhere, rub it on my bottle. Like if it was, I know, I'm trying to think of what I would do in her situation. Yeah, and then put it back. Yeah, I'd probably just throw it in the garbage after. But if you're just having some issues, that's more of like a go-to-see a doctor.
Starting point is 00:42:54 Yeah, yeah. Not like open your boyfriend's medicine cabinet or brother, especially your brother. Anybody, anybody's medicine cabinet, then grab something. Come on. Oh, gosh. Oh, wow. This one's good. Once I got frisky with my husband before work and ended up with a vibrating egg stuck up in my hoo-ha and had to go to work with it because I was late. It kept going off at the most random points through the day, including meetings, and I had to try and act like nothing was wrong. Oh my God. Well, that's your fault. Yeah, that... I don't even know what to say. I'm like, didn't you have a bathroom break where you could just go, like, get it out
Starting point is 00:43:34 or was she enjoying it, baby? But also, like, how does... I almost like, don't... Do I believe that? I don't know if I believe it. It seems like a made-up confession. I would never go to work with a vibrator in my vagina.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Right. I'd rather just be two extra minutes late and get it out. Yeah. I would be like, hey, guys, I'm sick. I'm going to stay home for half the day. I would need to feel better. This is why we are our own bosses because we can do that if we wanted to. Yes, Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Yes, Caitlin. I'm so weird. I just feel like that one is not real. Yeah, I feel like someone made that up. And good job because it made it in the episode. Yeah, look at you. Look at you now. Look where lying gets you.
Starting point is 00:44:22 on and on off the vine we're giving you a two for making that up she's like so sad she's like oh but it actually happened she still has an egg in her vagina she actually like got an infection and it went really poorly for her and we're just like you liar yeah oh no oh no i hope you're okay i hope you're okay i'm going to give you a five for effort yeah well that's all i've got for you today that's it that's genuinely it i just wanted to talk about your freaking bomb lip bomb and i think people like to hear from you because well first of all it's not like we get to do a lot of interviews or hear a lot of interviews with you and matt and so we don't get enough on instagram we need more and so i feel like it's nice to hear
Starting point is 00:45:14 like your little business ventures and what you're doing and how proud you are like you just light up when you talk about it and it's really cool and i'm just proud of you and everyone needs to Where can people get it? Oh, my God. Keelan, you actually, like, I might cry. This has been a long time coming, and I feel like I'm like, first in tears. People can get it on relbeautcom,
Starting point is 00:45:35 at rel beauty on Instagram. That's where you can follow along and see when, like, new things are going to come out and all that good stuff. I do have something I want to say to you. What? I was talking to someone two days ago. I went to lunch with a friend,
Starting point is 00:45:50 and we were talking about, people starting podcasts and like how you know like you like you've had this podcast for a long time and how good you are at it and everything and I was talking to my friend and she was like she was like yeah um you know a lot of like I'm just going to like call out people right now but she's like a lot of like bachelor people start podcasts right and I was like yeah I was like they definitely do I was like I think a lot of like just reality in general like what do you do after that right and and um she don't know if she knew that I was like friends with you or whatever but I really don't think she did but she's like didn't that girl Caitlin Bristol start a podcast and I was like yes and she's
Starting point is 00:46:29 perfect and I like went off about how good you are at literally everything and I felt like such a proud friend of you in that moment when I was like naming like all the things that you've done and he was like she's like I wonder why like you know it's it's so interesting like how she's so good at that but like you know, why, why don't other podcasts succeed or why doesn't this and this? And how come I've never heard of that and whatever? And I'm like, because they're not Caitlin. I was like, if it was a Caitlin thing, it'd be huge. Like, she makes things big. And I was just like singing your praises. And I was so proud of you. And so, like, I just look up to you in so many ways. And you're such a rad, like, person and entrepreneurial, an entrepreneurial woman. And I just was so
