Starting point is 00:01:37 so many times. It's not like it just slipped. It didn't slip. He kept saying it. Okay, also coming up, we have Kendall calling in. I think this is Kendall's first interview. Is it? I mean, I'm going to tell myself it is.
Starting point is 00:01:54 I love. You've got the exclusive. I've got the exclusive. I'm in. ABC doesn't hate me anymore. It gave me the green light. Okay, let's breeze through this. Women tell all main points. Okay, glam-shaming is a thing, we've realized.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Right. But I realize I did. I glam-shamed Ashley I on The Bachelor when we went camping. It was a thing before it was a thing. It was a thing before it was a thing. And I just didn't know it was called glam-shaming. Well, yeah, no. Who did?
Starting point is 00:02:22 No one. Not until... Was it Chelsea who coined the term? Yeah. She's pro-glam. She's pro-glamm. I am too. I am too. It was so funny, though, because I think about this camping date I went on on Chris's season, and I was, like, so greasy, and I stayed up all night just, like, running around,
Starting point is 00:02:40 doing fun camping things. I was, like, so gross in the morning, and Ashley was, like, in her tent with the little flip mirror, like, doing her makeup, like, full-blown glam on the camping date, and I'm like, well, I think there's a way to be pro-glam, but pro-glam, but pro-glam, appropriate proclam. You know what I'm saying? Like there's a time and a place. There's a time and a place. And maybe I think Chelsea's point was that I can't remember her name. What's the other one's name? Um, I can't either. Anyway, she, they were hiking in the middle of the woods and she's pulling out the compact. Like, you know, there's a time and a place. Right. Not hiking and not camping. Glamping. Ashley I is the definition of glamping. That's true. Yeah. And I love myself a glamping trip.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Me too. Yeah. I should probably mute my emails so they don't keep making noises. Next up, Crystal. Okay, so the girls are still not big Crystal guys. No, they are not. My favorite was that. Neither is lots of people.
Starting point is 00:03:39 No, and I really tried to stand up for her voice, like, through the whole thing because you know how we were talking about people attacking voices. So I tried to, like, stand up for it. But then she's like, yeah, well, I lost my voice. And I'm like, that's your reason. Just say, like, yeah, shoot, I was nervous. I put it on. Like, she's like, I lost it.
Starting point is 00:03:54 And Chris Harrison's like, for six weeks. Uh, no. Like, you should probably see a doctor about that. I don't think of a doctor about that. Yeah. She was like, I never got it back. Yeah. It was just funny. But I will say, at the end of it, I got kind of emotional, like, with her family coming together and her brother.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Oh, I did too. You're right. I know. Oh, that was a good story. It was. I was like, oh, if, you know, if that's what came out of this. There's a reason. There's a reason.
Starting point is 00:04:23 I am a firm believer, and everything happens for reason. And I did stalk her a little bit on social media, and she seemed like she was taking all of the crap, like, really well. Yeah. And I think that's because her family kind of came together through this, and I think that meant a lot to her. So that was nice. I think that that's the most important part. Yeah, that was a precious moment. You know what, this will all disappear someday.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Exactly. It might not be right away for her or any of these girls on the season. Yeah. But it will disappear. And so if her family is intact because of it, I love that. Exactly. Me too. I'm a big crystal gun.
Starting point is 00:04:56 you know I was too I said on did I do an interview and I was like you know what Crystal doesn't bother me that much like I get it that you know this is who the villain quote and quote is this season but I wasn't
Starting point is 00:05:12 super bothered by her I wasn't either I could see how she rubbed girls the wrong way and but it was kind of funny like how she was called Aria Needledick that's hilarious like she obviously didn't see it but she was just like that was just a funny term for her to do not yeah i thought that was
Starting point is 00:05:31 hilarious that was i mean and ari calling crystal out was pretty funny too he's like ah you're on the bachelor i know way to stand up and she's and i think all the girls were like yes yes everyone the whole audience like cheered it was so funny because she was like yeah i thought um the exit like the way we ended it was kind of cold he's like yeah thought it was pretty appropriate yeah it was cold because it was supposed to be cold. But what I, at the end of that, like, I loved the fact that she knew that she had been put in her place.
Starting point is 00:06:03 And she said, oh, yeah, by the way, I just wanted to tell you that I just wanted you to be happy or whatever she said. I'm like, oh, really? I'm like, maybe start with that. That's all you wanted when you came up to the couch. No, I don't think so. That damn couch.
Starting point is 00:06:14 Oh, the damn hot seat. The damn hot seat. Sien, I felt like it was kind of getting set up for Bachelorette. I thought so, too. I was like, what's going on here? I actually would love her for Bachelorette. I would too. I think she'd be a great bachelorette.
Starting point is 00:06:29 I agree. Yeah, she's got it all going on. She does. Everything. Check off the boxes. But you know how they set up the girls in like a specific order for Women Tell All and Tia was in the Bachelorette's seat? So I was like, I'm confused. True.
Starting point is 00:06:42 But you know what we need to do is go back and look at old women tell all and see who is in the seat? Yeah. And see if it is the Bachelorette seat. It is. I did my research. Yes, I was in it. And I did my research when I was in it. I was like, does that mean something?
Starting point is 00:06:56 Okay. Yeah, but you know what? Well, I told you this last night. What? On Instagram. Yeah. Ashley Eyes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Did you see it? No, I still haven't watched it. Okay, you need to watch it because Ashley I was doing interviews for Access Hollywood. Yeah. And she interviewed Tia. Yeah. For the Women's Hell Al. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:16 And she said, so what do you think of all the hype or something about her being a bachelorette? Yeah. So I've heard that you are thinking, you're being thought of for the Bachelorette or that you would be a great bachelorette. She was like nodding and saying, yeah. Like agreeing. Like I need to pull it up because it was so. Pull it up. It was like, wait a second.
Starting point is 00:07:39 We need to coach Tia. I know. I'm like. Into some humble bragging. I'm hoping that she just didn't hear. And she was just like doing the awkward nod. Like, yep. Totally doing the.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Oh yeah. I completely hear what you're saying. Yeah. Because you got to kind of play it like, yeah. You kind of got to play it like... How does it feel... She's just Sien. You can do better than Ari.
Starting point is 00:08:00 You're she smart for Ari. I feel like you may be a frontrunner for The Bachelorette. She's nodding. Do you think tonight helped your odds, hurt them? I feel like you might be a fronter for Bachelorette. And she's nodding. Yep. Yep.
Starting point is 00:08:14 I am. That's going to suck if she isn't. She's like really put it in her mind that she is. I mean, she's my pick. Like, I. said, so last week, I was in New York with a bunch of our girls, um, Bachelor of Girls. Yep. And everyone was asking who I think, you know, should be next Bachelorette. Yeah. Tia was my number one answer. Yeah. I think she would be great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:34 But that in interview, I'm like, no, just don't say, yes, me, I'm the frontrunner. You got to play it cool. Yeah. I agree with that. But she's my pick too. Yeah. Um, unless, I don't know what's going to happen. Obviously, something big. Totally. And then I'm like, well, maybe they're going and pick that, you know, someone else to be the Bachelorette. You're right. There are three girls left. Well, two, now, but. Right. But Tia totally got up there and had, like, you know,
Starting point is 00:09:01 she looked bomb. She was the right amount of being emotional. Right. Not too hurt that she can't find love again. Completely. That's key. And I think her humor is so, I love her humor. Me too. I love a girl with a sense of humor why I love you. Well,
Starting point is 00:09:17 one of the reasons. Well, thank you. I'm the same way. Like, I just found her, she's pretty funny, and she's got, like, a mouth on her, but she's also, like, really sweet. I know. Small town girl. Love the small town. The weiner girl. The weiner girl, I love. Oh, my gosh, that's a terrible nickname.
Starting point is 00:09:32 I mean, what they would do with Bachelorette, like, they would play that up so much. Oh, weiner. Yeah. She'd be driving around in the, like, what's the hot dog car? Oscar Meyer Weener. Yes, the Oscar Meyer Weiner car. Oh, my gosh, that's amazing. And then there, Becca, okay, I could not concentrate on what Becca was saying with those earrings.
Starting point is 00:09:51 oh my god they were bigger than her head i was like okay what well i can't see fast i know you're right you're so right they were bigger than a head those were bold the only person who could actually even close to pull them off is her because of her hair yeah which i was like okay you know you just totally she pulled it off they were just distracting yeah completely i completely anyways her age was still a thing and that's all i basically got from oh whatever it was just still I think it's so silly. She showed on the women's all-all that she is so mature. She really is. She really is. She is so good at like stating the obvious and calling people out, but in a really kind way. Yeah, yeah. I agree. I agree. I'm actually just, I'm always impressed with her. Yeah. Like,
Starting point is 00:10:38 I keep waiting for something like her age to show and then I'm like, I'm that person judging her on her age. Right. I don't think it, I think she is way beyond her years. I agree. I completely agree. And I like that she pointed out. She's like, I think Ari's insecure about his age. And that's what it was, it was just, like, being projected onto me. I was like, boom. When they were laying in the bed that Bibi had set up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:00 And she was like, you're just scared because I don't need you. Yeah. I was like, whoa. She was like, you're blowing my mind right now. I'm like, yes, that's so smart. Yeah. It's so intuitive. I think she's really wise.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Yeah, absolutely. Completely agree. Caroline is feisty. Oh my. Yurt. I was like, whoa. Her one eyebrow was coming up and she meant business. I was like, oh, like, her one eyebrow needs to be a Twitter handle. Oh, it really does. I can't believe it's not. We didn't see enough of it. That's why. But oh my gosh, I was like, okay. So she said she knows what he did. I know. I need to know. And I texted you and I was like, what the heck is going on? And he goes, oh yeah. And I think that will play out next week. And I'm like, oh, boy, this is going to get good.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Yeah. This is going to make up for the whole season. true which is sad because it's probably going to it's going to be someone getting really hurt but i'm not happy about it i i'm always so maternal with all of you people yeah you're so sweet i'm always so maternal i just don't want anyone to have broken hearts i know it's going to happen yeah it's going to happen every time yeah but it's just like all this talk with something shocking happening like i'm pretty sure i know what goes down i just don't know with who okay um i'm always the person who doesn't Well, no, that's better. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:17 It just makes it so much more fun to watch when you don't know what's happening. I mean, that's my, that's my M. But, okay, so then the bloopers, it made me sad that they didn't show Ari's personality because you see in the bloopers that he's, like, funny. Yeah, like, whirp, that was funny. That's hilarious. And you see his personality on women tell all and in bloopers. And I was like, oh, that's too bad.
Starting point is 00:12:41 They didn't make him more like a lovable bachelor. Maybe he didn't show it as much as they. needed to be able to air the important stuff. You're right. There's so much that ends up on that in the room floor. Oh, my gosh. I mean, 90 whatever percent. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:12:54 I always say this, because you think about it, they're filming all day, every day, seven days a week, almost the whole day. They're getting everything, but they're only airing. With multiple cameras. Multiple cameras and only airing like an hour and a half when it comes down to it every Monday. And it used to be an hour in my season. That's another evolution.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Oh, yeah. It's two now. And the finale is three. Oh, good Lord. Holy cow. That's too much. I need to find a sitter. Yeah, seriously.
Starting point is 00:13:19 It's too much. It's too much. I'm like, no. I like the hour. I think that's... It was very like... I mean, it sucks for... They couldn't fit everything in, though.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Yeah, that's true. That's true. Closing notes. Yes. Chris Harrison does not age. He does not. What's he doing? Botox?
Starting point is 00:13:36 I don't think so. I don't think so either. I don't think it's makeup. Gina does a great job. Gina is on it. Yeah. She's awesome. And she knows him so well,
Starting point is 00:13:46 She's been with him from the beginning. Yeah, before his bachelor days. Yeah. She knows how to work his face. She does. Right. And Carrie Fetman does not take away from that. He's amazing.
Starting point is 00:13:56 He's amazing. Makes him look amazing. What I like about him, Carrie, too, is that he doesn't, like, he sticks with the times. And he, like, I don't know if he does his research or he just gets it. Oh, he just gets it. He just gets it. He does. It's in his blood.
Starting point is 00:14:08 I mean, and he's around it all the time, even though this is where we know him from. Right. He's been in television. Joan River. I know he's with Melissa. Right. Oh, that's amazing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:19 Okay, on to The Bachelor. All right. We are whizzing through this. I love it. Um, Ari's overnights. I'm funny. I'm like, even when I'm writing out his name, I write it Airy by accident. And then I'm like, Ari, Air, oh, it's Eric.
Starting point is 00:14:32 All right. It's. Murt. Uh, I just can't with the metaphors on the show all the time. Like, Kendall and Ari are dune bugging. And he's like, dunebugging is like a relationship. it's good it's ups and downs but it's exciting I'm like oh my gosh and all I see is the producer yes in the other trip can you say yeah or being like how is dune bugging like a
Starting point is 00:14:58 relationship and then you're like don't make me answer that but you have to and then they air it and you're like damn it was the same so I've been trying to catch up on celebrity big brother yes and I heard Meta World Peace say something and I was like that was totally a producer like isn't that funny how you can call it out now yeah oh because before like As a Big Brother fan watching, I was like, how are all these people so witty and funny in the diary room? And now I'm like, oh, there's a producer on the other side of it, feeding them the lines. Right, completely. Okay, but I'm mind-blown that Kendall at this point is still managing to stay level-headed.
Starting point is 00:15:31 I know. She's like, if he proposed, I'd say no. I know. Well, wait, maybe I saw a different part. In the beginning or the end? Beginning. Okay, because the more it went after their fantasy speech, she said I could see it. Okay, yes, you're right.
Starting point is 00:15:45 but she like really needed that fantasy suite to get there and have this like all this off camera time but she was like yeah that's important so real like because a lot of girls in that situation would maybe just kind of be like completely yeah I totally see it yeah which I do feel the other two girls really do see it yeah but anyways Kendall just always level-headed I I really want to ask her when we talk to her we're going to talk to her later and I really want to ask her about the taxidermy stuff like is that real because remember we were talking about it and we're like I don't know we'll find out. We'll get to the bottom of this. She might lie to us, but that's okay. Yeah, she might be told to lie to us, but it's okay. It's okay. We'll forgive her and get the bottom of it

Right. I'm like, what does that mean? But why? Why does she
Starting point is 00:17:54 have to be where you are? If you know how much further along you are with the other two girls, why do you need her to be where you are? Completely like, why don't you just say I have strong relationship with the other women and I'm going to respectfully like have you go home because I think that I don't want to waste your time anymore. Like if you're not there, it's a two-way And everyone always says that the bachelor is doing the choosing or the bachelorette is doing the choosing. I totally don't agree. I am on your side. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:23 It's they both have to feel the same way for a relationship to work. It's a two-way street. So if you're feeling stronger for the other women or Kendall's not into it, then that tells you something. Yeah. I mean, and she was into it. I guess just not as ready. As far along and. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Yeah. Which is, there's nothing wrong with that. No, nothing at all. It's such a short period of time. I get it. Yeah. I get it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:45 I laugh so hard. I don't know if anybody noticed this, but before they cut to them in the morning, Kendall and Ari in the morning, they did like Broll shots of birds and bees. No, they did not. Yeah. It was like, it was like birds sitting there, and then it was like, and I was like, oh, I see what you did there. That is so, oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:04 It was clever. I can see that being completely thought about by the producer. Yeah, it was genius. If anybody caught that good for you, because I, I was like, I was impressed with myself that I caught it. I'm like, good job. I'm like, good job. And I rewind it, I'm like, that's good.
Starting point is 00:19:20 That's good. Also, I always. Very insightful. You know, that is one word people would use to describe me. Yes. I always find the women so beautiful in the morning. Oh, like seriously. Every time.
Starting point is 00:19:33 And it's like you get to know them so you like think they're more and more beautiful. And then in the morning you're like, oh, that's really how you wake up. I thought that when I saw her, you know, making breakfast or whatever with him. I thought, wow. Like, if I could look that way in the morning... What you do, I saw you in the morning. Not true. She lies.
Starting point is 00:19:51 I don't lie. No, but I thought, wow, if only to be that, I know. I always think about that, too, with, like, being in just, like, the morning light and having, like, no makeup. I'm like, gosh, that's, you got to have some confidence for that. Oh, well, yeah. I know. But I feel like back when I was on. the show, I did have that confidence.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Like, I was like, I don't care if I have no makeup on. Yeah. Yeah, that's... You know, like in the house when the girls are all together and they're hanging out and Chris Harrison comes or a day card comes and I'm like, wow, they are so, you know, not ready for this day. Yeah. And they're totally cool with it.
Starting point is 00:20:31 And I love that. I know. It's great. I love seeing the girls like that. I do too. Just all about it. And I actually reflected like, oh, I used to be like that. I need to...
Starting point is 00:20:40 We need to get that back. I need to get it back. We need to get it back. A little bit. So they both. both say they're falling in love. Yes. But it's clear in this whole episode that he is just further along with the other two. Clear. So it was not shocked when she went home. Right. No. Lauren B. It's so funny because whenever people say Lauren B, I think of Lauren Bush.
Starting point is 00:20:55 I know. Me too. Okay. I know. I mean, I just need to stop me. I don't even know what the B stands for. But do we ever? No. Not until later. When we follow them on Instagram. But this Lauren B, I feel like she just lives in her own head. Like, she cannot let go. And it's really tough to watch. It's really hard to watch for me. It is. I feel bad for her, but I'm just like. I don't feel bad for her.
Starting point is 00:21:21 I just really wish that she would open up. Yeah, I just get to a certain point, but where I'm like, okay, I really need to see your personality. Yeah. And I think I want to see her personality because I, as I said maternal, I want to know that they make a good match. I don't know if what we're not seeing is ending up on the cutting room floor. and that's why we're not seeing it.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Yeah. Or it truly is because that is her personality down to the core. And if that's her personality down to the core, I just, I just, you know, wonder. If she can ever let go. Let go. Let me be able to open up. Yeah. It's tough to watch.
Starting point is 00:21:59 And like Ari said, he wants her to just soak it in. Like, you're in these crazy moments and you're, like, supposed to be romantic and falling. And she's just not. It's taking away from everything. It feels like all they talk about is her being worried and him having. to reassure her and yeah I'm just over it I am too and I'm and I'm wondering like if he chooses her yeah um is the is like was he pushing it because he likes her so much and he wants it so bad he wants it so bad with her is he overlooking the fact that she can't get there and you need
Starting point is 00:22:31 to get there to have a successful relationship exactly it's just it's just never fun with them yeah you know I know and and she just seems a little bit like a like a pessimistic like she's a little bit negative. Yeah. And she always, she says she needs to know that he's the only girl he sees, but that's like so much pressure to put on someone in that position. He can't. This is not the show to do that. But he also does. Yeah. True. That's true. He dies. He looks at her right in the eye and says, like, I see this with you. I love you. And then she says, I love you too. And then he's like, I love you. I really got there with you and I love you. I'm like, oh, man. Sweet baby Jesus. It all gives me so much anxiety. I know it. And then like, then they play, how do I live without you?
Starting point is 00:23:12 What the hell is that about? I don't know. I'm like, this is not Bachelor music, and why are they giving, like, that was weird. Right. It really threw me off. I really threw me off. This is not Bachelor music. Stick to the good stuff.
Starting point is 00:23:26 Yeah, I'm like, you're throwing me off. Yeah. But watching this date, I'm just like, okay, this will be really effed up if he doesn't pick her because he's telling her, like, you know. And then he tells. Exactly. It's hard when you care about someone that much that you do. want to just keep reassuring them so they don't leave but it can end up screwing everything up well completely i mean that's why i didn't tell ryan that i was falling in love with him because
Starting point is 00:23:51 of what happened to me on the bachelor like alex told me he was going to pick me he didn't pick me i was heartbroken and then you're like became the bachelorette i'm like i can't do that to somebody yeah so and i just don't get i just don't get why ben goes through what he does and he tells both Jojo and Lauren that he loves them. Mm-hmm. Yep. And there's all this heartbreak and, and people were pretty open about it after the show. I feel like Jojo and Lauren were very open about their heartbreak and how difficult that was. Yep.
Starting point is 00:24:23 And how do you not know that, Ari? Like, Ari, please, like, why are you telling multiple people that you love that? And like I said earlier, it's not like it slipped. Like, he is looking them in the eyes and he keeps saying it. Right. And he just keeps saying like, I love, and saying, like, basically that they're the one. I know. With both girls.
Starting point is 00:24:40 I know. Oh, God. I know. It's just, it really scared me for both of the people. Like, whomever he chooses, they are going to question the fact that he was telling someone else when they watch the show. Yeah. That he loves them. And then the other one is going to question, like, did he make a mistake?
Starting point is 00:24:59 Yes. Was I supposed to be with him? Especially if he picks Lauren, her biggest fear is, like, all coming true. Right. You know, like you said, and then there's the date with Becca, and we're like, okay, he's picking her. Completely. That's what you think. And suddenly I forget I've been on this show, and I know how it works.
Starting point is 00:25:18 But every season. But I mean, bless you. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. We were just talking about that. I've been sneezing this whole freaking time. It's the damn altitude. Blame it on.
Starting point is 00:25:29 I love how Becca asks, is there any doubts or hesitations with us in our relationship? And he's like, nope, not one. And I'm like, oh. Or how about the fact that you told Lauren that she's the one I love her? Well, maybe he was thinking just with her in general. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:44 But that plays into his relationship with her because there is another girl and he's going on. He loves her. And I will say I do empathize with Ari. Like it's such a mind F to like compartmentalize all these relationships. And you're taking two relationships as far as they possibly can go to really be sure at the end that you're making the right decision. So it's like,
Starting point is 00:26:06 He's really putting it all in with both girls and really taking it that far, but I'm just, like, of course, thinking how hard it's going to be for the girl. Right, and I think you have to play a really fine line between those two. Like, yes, get in the moment, be there, and give as much as you possibly can, but also still speaking about what is going to happen after the show. You have to be mindful. You have to be thoughtful. You have to really take into question what you're saying because it will affect you.
Starting point is 00:26:36 everyone in the end. And words are powerful. Very. Yeah, I was going to say we're both words of affirmation. Yeah, they're very. I mean, and I wonder what these girls are. Yeah. Yeah. And if they are, it's going to suck even worse. It's going to suck. Yeah. The overnight spot that he had with Becca in Peru. Oh, I just, so I just got back from Peru. Right. I am in love with Peru. It looks just incredible. I know. It's a beautiful country. I definitely want to go. Yeah. You need to put it on your list because I want to go to where Kendall. He and Kendall had that date because we did not go.
Starting point is 00:27:13 We were in Kusco and Machu Picchu and Lima and all of those places are just gorgeous. You're so lucky. You do so much traveling. I mean, I try, but also at the same time we have kids. Right. But you do a lot. We try and we do travel a lot with the kids. I think it's really important to travel with them.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Oh, it's amazing. They're getting so many life experiences, like, and seeing different cultures and, you know. I think that's really important. I do, too. So we take them wherever we think. I think it's great. I want to do that with my kids. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Oh, the overnight's, oh, yeah, it's like a tent in the middle of nowhere. Where do they pee? There's no, no bathroom. Probably in the same. That's funny. Or maybe they have, like, a little, a little hole? I'm sure they do. You know what?
Starting point is 00:28:05 I just got sidetracked, but I have to tell you a funny story. In Bali, when I was very confident thinking I was staying and I wasn't, I was like having drinks and I had to pee, but in Bali, it's like, when you're out in the temples, like, there's no bathroom, there's just holes in the ground. And so I was standing over a hole, lifting up my stupid, like, little sarong skirt, and I peed on it? I peed on my foot. So, no, wait, that's not even the ground.
Starting point is 00:28:35 was part. So I pee on my foot and then I get sent home and I'm devastated. I'm crying in Alon Gail is sitting in the opposite side of me on the car ride home, you know, doing his interview producer thing. And he's like, grabs my foot, no idea. And he put it in his mouth. Yeah. And he goes, well, this make you feel better? He's like, I'll stick your whole foot in my mouth because I kept like putting my foot up on him. Like, forgetting I peed on it. And he put it on his mouth. And I was like, this makes everything. better. I told him I'm like, I peed on that foot. Yes. I peed on it. What did he do? You know what? Now that I'm thinking back, I'm like, wait, did I tell him I peed on it? And then he put it in his mouth to make me feel
Starting point is 00:29:16 better. Alongale, everybody. He would. He would. That's true. Anyways, that just made me think of that. Holds in the ground for the bathroom. But anyways. I know. Well, it's true. And what if you God forbid have to go number two? Right? You'd hold it. You would have to. Yeah. You'd have stomach aches for days but you hold it because you can't especially on that overnight yeah so anyways he tells Becky loves her so anyways this is going to end up really bad for someone it's so sad but I just don't even think he realizes that there's someone else when he's with each girl and that's good you need to do that right but again at the end that's just so hard for somebody else to watch and then Becca's boyfriend Russ comes back and
Starting point is 00:29:59 gets his five minutes of screen time but we were laughing so hard I started watching this last night. Ross, Russ, oh, Ross, it was Ross. He looks like a Ross. He does look like Ross. Actually, he looks more like a Ross. Although I love Ross Matthews. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Yes, right. I'm like, wait, who's that? But we were laughing watching this. Remember, he was so contradicted. Like, he'd be like, I want to be with you. I think there's love in our hearts. And then he's like, I have no business being here. And he's like, I shouldn't.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Why are you here? Yeah. And he, like, brought a shitty little bouquet of flowers. Yeah, and she left it that last, like. It's like that scene where it was. Yeah, it was so funny. Let's zoom in on the flowers. Like, that situation was just so, I'm like, oh, come on, man.
Starting point is 00:30:40 When do you ever think that's going to work out? Like, it's just not. And you know the producers flew him out. Of course they did. There's no way he would be able to find her otherwise. No. Yeah, how do you think that happened? Did he reach out and was like, I want my girl back?
Starting point is 00:30:55 Oh, gosh. Well, how does he reach the producers? Like, how do you do that? I don't know. If you're not, I mean, I guess Alon is pretty vocal about it. being a producer on the social, she'll maybe, so maybe, but I don't know. How do you, like, reach them? How do you say, oh, well, Becca's my ex, and I want to put up a...
Starting point is 00:31:10 That whole situation was just... I felt bad for Becca. She was so funny. She's like, you think things happen, like, out of the notebook. This is so you. That was perfect. Her reactions to Ross was, I was like, I like, I like you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:23 I like you now. I went and followed her on Twitter after that. You did, yay. I don't think I've ever heard of the word kale before, like, 19 years.
Starting point is 00:32:55 Same. I used to work at a Cajun restaurant, and we put a piece of kale and a lemon wedge on every plate. It said, lemon and kale make the sale. I was like, I'm going to eat the damn garnish, that waxy plastic that we put on the side of the crab salad. Join us for Forked Up a Thug Kitchen podcast every Thursday, exclusively on Apple Podcasts, or download and listen at podcast.com or on the new Podcast One app. Now back to Off the Vine Grape Therapy. Um, okay, so, Rose ceremony happens, and Kendall gets sent home. I think we all saw that coming because they just weren't there.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Right. Or did we, I don't know. And, well, and I think they played it because it was constantly, that was the storyline for this show, is that she wasn't there yet. Yes, exactly. And so they had the out. Exactly. So I think we should call Kendall.
Starting point is 00:33:46 Let's do it. I'm just pulling up her number. I'm going to do like a little FaceTime audio. I almost said her number out loud as I was typing it. Oh, yeah. That was stupid. Sorry, Kendall. Yeah, whoops.
Starting point is 00:33:56 We just blew up. Hello. Hi, Kendall. Hey, how are you? I'm good. How are you? You've got Tristan, Caitlin, here. Oh, hello, guys.
Starting point is 00:34:07 How are you? Hi. Oh, I got to turn you up. Your little, okay, there we go. Okay, so we're just sitting in my little hotel room, just did a little recap. We are huge fans, big Kendall guys over here. Oh, thank you so much. Oh, my, but we have questions.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Questions, questions, questions, and more questions. Okay, yes, I can answer all the questions. all the things. I'm sure these are going to be very like standard questions. You're going to like be like, okay, I get it. I'm done with these questions after a couple weeks. But I'm going to be the first one to ask you. So you can't be sick of me yet. Right. Okay. First off, taxidermy stuff. Is that real or is that a long gale's idea? No, I actually do collect taxidermy. I collect taxidermy. Can you bring me over and prove it because I really need to see this? Yes. Well, the warehouse that was in the episode wasn't mine. That was actually a property prop house called Bishops. Okay. But I do own some pieces. Um,
Starting point is 00:35:00 I collect cruelty free and vintage taxidermy. I love that. So I'd go to like vintage stores and I'll just find, you know, weird things. So we know what to get you for Christmas. Yeah. We definitely know what we're getting you for Christmas. It actually, it actually does intrigue me, because I'm sure you're sick of people like, um, picking at it and making jokes because it is like something you love to do. So I'm not trying to. It's just like interesting. It's fascinating. Totally fine. I 100% know that it's a weird thing, and it takes people some adjusting. Yeah, some adjusting. So this whole season, you've been like someone that stood out to me as you always managed to say very level-headed and not get, like, caught up in the process,
Starting point is 00:35:39 and you were always really honest, and you just know how to talk about your feelings, and you seem very self-aware to me, but how did you do that through the whole thing, making it that far? Right. I guess the main thing that I promised myself is that I would always be. be true to myself. Before I left, my dad, he always says, remember Betty, be true to yourself, and Betty is my grandmother. So it was always something that. And so I guess during the entire experience, I just wanted to be honest. So I was. And you were, but I'm telling you, that's, that's hard to do, because I said the same thing to myself, like, I'm going to say true to myself, which I think I did. But also, you get so lost in it, like, um, on Chris Solseason. Like, I really
Starting point is 00:36:16 thought I was in love with him when I was not. And I, you know, you don't get to talk to your family you don't have a phone you have just producers and they're making you think this guy is like what dreams are made of god's gift to women and and so for you to stay that way the whole time i thought i was very impressed by you yeah same yeah and i absolutely loved there was definitely a level of love that i had for ria i really appreciated the experience that i had with him and um he did open me up to so much more of like knowing more of myself oh but i think in the end looking back at it i i do know that we weren't meant to be right he was just a really good good friend we did had a fun time And, yeah, watching back, are you like, oh, my gosh, what are you doing telling both these women, like, I love you?
Starting point is 00:36:57 Are you just, like, wanting to jump through the TV screen? Or are you like, that's him? He really puts it all out there. Oh, yeah, I can totally understand why he loved those two women. I mean, I love those two women. They're, like, amazing, strong, beautiful women. Yeah. They are, but we've been talking about the fact that, you know, I don't know if you watched any of the shows before.
Starting point is 00:37:16 But Ben Higgins' season, he told both Lauren and Jojo that he loved them. And it kind of blew up for everybody. You know, people were hurt, feelings were hurt, and there were a lot of questions. And so I just, I wonder, I mean, I don't doubt that it can happen. Right. It's just whether or not you share completely. Yeah. You know, if you.
Starting point is 00:37:38 I mean, I think each girl probably brings out a different level of love himself. Yeah. You know, I mean, I think it's very possible to love more than one person. I mean, I love so many different people, but they're at different levels. And I'm sure that. That's a good point. Yeah, he just chooses the one that is maybe just a stronger level of love, but I think there's no doubt that he does have love for both of them.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Oh, I have no doubt. It's just a wonder, could he maybe, maybe, no, could he maybe not say it so. Or maybe just keep it off camera? Right, totally. So that the other girl doesn't see that you're, yeah, yeah, yeah. Once you open the floodgates of saying, I love you, it's something that feels so good to say. Yeah, see, we need you, Kendall. We need you.
Starting point is 00:38:21 I always said this. I'm like, I always want to have deep conversations with Kendall and because she'll open my mind to other, you know, other thoughts. And that's a great point, though. And he's just being honest with his feelings, I guess. And you have to be in that position. Yeah. Or else you're not going to be successful.
Starting point is 00:38:37 Oh, Kendall. Always cut into the core of me. Oh, my God. Okay. What would be your thoughts on being the Bachelorette? Yeah, I mean, because I have. had such a positive experience with the bachelor, I feel like I would definitely be open to it. Yeah, I think you would make a great bachelorette. Oh, so good. You had to choose some weirdos
Starting point is 00:38:59 for me. Well, yeah, of course. Of course. And they, and you know they would. Well, and that's what we want to see. We want to see. Yeah, and I want to see you fall in love with a weirdo. I think it would be magical. I mean, that's what, why everyone fell in love with Carly and Evan. Yeah, exactly, Carly and Evan. Oh, I love them so much. Oh, seriously. A unique, beautiful couple. We really are. Oh, I just love them. Love them. I mean, Caitlin knows them very well.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Yeah, they're very dear friends of mine. But I could just see you, like, I mean, you could carry a show. I think that's really important to find in someone to be the lead. Like, you have to be able to carry the show. And I think you would bring out, like, I think you'd make men really get to know themselves and be vulnerable, and I think it would be really magical to watch. Oh, thank you. I love that.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Yeah, we're putting in our votes. Yep, we're putting in our votes. also I'm sure like now you said time has passed and you realized like yeah you two weren't meant to be did watching the show back give you closure because you got to see his relationships developing with the other two a little faster yeah no it 100% did it's so funny like when I left I felt like I didn't know I didn't know why I just felt like our relationship was so strong I couldn't imagine any relationship as strong as ours yeah because you don't see the other ones I love you yeah but after watching back it just makes so much more sense
Starting point is 00:40:16 I just see how beautiful the relationships are that he has developed with Becca and Lauren. Right. And in no way was I in the same boat as they were emotionally. Right. Right. Yeah, that's, yeah. I felt the same way watching back. I was like, oh, I did not have what other people had. And again, you don't see it.
Starting point is 00:40:32 That's the only way you get closure on the show. It's true, just watching it back. I love being able to see that. It's like a blessing to be able to see that. I agree, yeah. You would have a positive outlook. I just love you. And so how, like, what are you doing now?
Starting point is 00:40:44 What's next for you if you are not the bachelor? paradise obviously but what's next for Kendall um right now i'm still working in the art department of film and television so i'm doing like creative directing design so um on movies tv what um yeah just mainly for television that's that must have been so interesting to be on the bachelor scene art department do their work for you hey it was so weird it was so weird only because i'm so used to being behind the camera yeah in some sense it almost felt like i was almost felt very comfortable because, oh, this is just another day at work. And it felt like I could be more open and show more of myself
Starting point is 00:41:20 because I just knew that the experience is whatever you give to it. And so I just gave everything of myself to it. I was like, okay, to hell with it. Let's go for it. Okay, both. Kendall for a bachelorette. Oh, my gosh. And you live in L.A., right?
Starting point is 00:41:36 I do live in L.A. Okay, well, I'm coming out there next week, so I'll hit you up. Oh, yeah. Oh, for sure. I would love to hang out with you, absolutely. Okay, great. Well, thank you so much for being on the podcast. and having a little great therapy session with us. Of course.
Starting point is 00:41:49 Thank you so much for having me. I would talk longer, but, you know, I actually have to check out of my hotel room. Yeah. I feel you. I know how the hotel life is. Maybe, actually, maybe when I'm in L.A. You can come co-host with me on a podcast when I, when I introduce someone. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:05 I absolutely love that. I would so love that. Okay, great. Okay, I'll text you. Okay, girls. Okay, thank you. Bye, Kendall. Bye, Kendall.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Oh, big fan. love her. I just, she's exactly what you saw on TV and that's what I really appreciate. Oh, I, yeah, no fakeness. Like, she is a digger. I dig her. I love her. I'm definitely having FOMO. Like, I want to go out to L.A. with you. Well, feel free. I know, right? I feel free. I haven't gone too much. It's not like you have a family or anything. It's not like I have children. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And I got the cutest picture of you in Blake's Lee last. Really? Oh, send it to me. I just adore her. Okay, so thank you for being. part of great therapy too. And thank you for having me out in your city town. I just, I don't want you
Starting point is 00:42:51 I know. I'm like, that's okay. We'll rebook another flight, bring Sean back. That's right. And we'll have another. A proper vacation. Exactly.
