Starting point is 00:01:46 Merry, Merry Christmas. Oh, crap. Merry Christmas. Let me clear my throat. No, it's not Christmas anymore. Hey guys, welcome to Off the Vine. I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow. I'm starting off a little pity party here.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Okay? Ready. It's hard to podcast over the holidays, traveling everywhere, and get guests. So I'm left with a last resort, my sister. I feel so special right now. So special. You know what? Thank you for being here on grape therapy.
Starting point is 00:02:22 You're welcome. I had no other options. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. people people actually really like when I podcast with people I actually have good conversation and like banter and chemistry with but it's hard because I'm like could you promote this podcast to your my 55 followers if you could that'd be great just really get those extra downloads really good you're going to need to put the microphone closer to your
Starting point is 00:02:48 mouth oh yeah it you feel uncomfortable but it sounds better okay I'm basically eating the Mike? Ew, that sound in my ear. Gross. That actually bothered me. Ew. How are we related, by the way? I don't know, because I'm drinking water. Like, what is it? You just don't enjoy... I don't enjoy just a casual drink.
Starting point is 00:03:12 You need to get f***ed up. But, Caitlin, I haven't got f***ed up in a really long time. It's just not my thing anymore. I'm over it. Is that called growing up? Is that what growing up? Yeah, is that what that means? You don't enjoy wine or... No, because all my girlfriends do.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Yeah, what is it? I don't know. You like beer? Yeah, I do. You like the vodka. Oh, it gets me a little crazy. Oh, me too. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:03:38 Have we talked about this before? I think so, yeah. I cannot drink vodka. It makes me loser drunk. But whiskey makes me loser drunk. Vodka just makes me super hungover. Mm, whiskey makes me pretty fun. I'm a little whiskey girl
Starting point is 00:03:55 A little whiskey and a teacup Whiskey girl Mama's such a whiskey girl Oh yeah Oh yeah I'm trying to make it So not Canadian So not Canadian
Starting point is 00:04:07 No be as Canadian as you can be We're in the homeland But vodka makes Okay whatever Vodka makes me crazy I always warn people when I hang out with them They're like oh I got you a vodka I'm like no no
Starting point is 00:04:18 Is there vodka in that? Don't give it to me Yeah, crazy Katie comes out. I will roundhouse kick your ass. I will, you will be mad at me because I'm mean. Yeah. Yeah, stay away from the vodka. I'm still lingering on my cough.
Starting point is 00:04:31 I noticed that earlier. Which is really frustrating. You know, when you have like a, everybody knows I was really sick because I was really searching for attention on Instagram. I feel sorry for me. I was like, you know when you're like alone and sick, all of a sudden you're like, I think a little, you have a bigger pity party. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:04:49 for sure oh my god you didn't even mean to do that no I didn't um but I was like I was looking I wasn't looking for attention on Instagram I was just so bored yeah I couch by myself and no one was taking care of me that I was just trying to entertain myself fair enough did you did you see about the NyQuil yeah I did I love me some NyQuil I well I don't it makes my legs go numb really yeah not me it makes me like does do like opposite for you yes oh yeah I drink NyQuil, and all of a sudden I'm like, and my body wants to shut down, but my mind's like, n-uh.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Really? Yeah. Oh, that's weird. It's anxiety central. Anyways, did I introduce you? Nope. Oh, okay. It's in the description of the podcast, but I'm here with my sister,
Starting point is 00:05:37 Haley Bristow. Haley, Jane, Bristow. Hi. Hi. I love podcasting with you because you have the same sense of humor as me. Yeah. Well, no? Oh, that was.
Starting point is 00:05:49 was not convincing I just I think you're more witty than I am oh yeah yeah definitely oh yeah for yeah for sure for sure I'm definitely more witty than you a I was talking to one of my friends on the phone and he goes you are so Canadian when you get home around your sister oh really yeah and I think people said that on my last podcast with you I think I I just like pick it up you just that I pick it up it's that it's that when I'm in the states I'm I'm really adapting and and becoming I'm really channeling my like Miley Cyrus like hey y'all for sure I wish I had that kind of like a southern draw I love that I'll tell you there's this one time I really nailed it um this lady called me I got off the pedal tavern in Nashville where you just pedal down the streets of Nashville and drink
Starting point is 00:06:43 and I got off the pedal tavern obviously a little tipsy yeah and I went to go back to the hotel that my friends from out of town were staying and I called what I called a cab or an Uber I called someone to figure out the address or something and I'm talking and she goes well now here's what you're going to have to do
Starting point is 00:07:02 honey you're going to have to go back just take a left because honey you're right at the hotel the pedal tavern drops you off right at the hotel okay and I was like could you say that again? Yeah please that was
Starting point is 00:07:18 I just love a southern accent. I'm secretly hoping, you know when people go to Australia and all of a sudden they come back three months later? Our cousin did that, yeah. And she has an Australian accent. Well, she doesn't anymore, but she did for the longest time. But are they putting it on or is that real? Because I've been in Nashville for three years now
Starting point is 00:07:36 and I still can't bring myself to say y'all. Really? Yeah. So I wonder. Anyways. And I'm the type that would look for attention, you know? Well, I wouldn't pick up a southern accent and just for people to be like, oh, isn't she darling?

Oh, we love having you home. It's just, Sydney said the cutest thing today. Twice, actually. She laid there and we were, you know, we've, we have a lot of fun at this household.
Starting point is 00:09:38 If you guys can't tell from Instagram stories. We have a lot of fun when we're around family. Our family's pretty nuts. You're not very nuts. You're not the nuttyest. No, I'm not the nuttiest of the nuts. I would say I'm the nuttiest of the nuts and mom's up there. You think mom's up there too?
Starting point is 00:09:54 Oh, Sydney's right up there with me. Do you think mom's nuttier than me? Yes. Okay. So mom, me, Sydney. Yeah. And so when we're all together, oh, look out. It's just a bag full of nuts.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Just a bag of nuts. And you know how people say like, oh, you're two peas in a pod? Sydney and I are two nuts and a sack I just came to me wow yeah that's good well I was we were thinking of nuts and then I was thinking I was saying two peas and a paw and I was like huh two nuts and a sack we're two nuts in a sack
Starting point is 00:10:31 Brody would kill himself laughing at that really oh he loves anything to do with penis jokes pretty much and farts today I said happiness and he died yeah yeah yeah see so we're dancing we're having fun we're playing the drums we're being crazy and then we lay to have a good little like quiet time Christmas movie and Haley and I grew up watching Pee We Herman's Christmas yeah we did holiday special it was our jam I remember taking out all the boxes from the basement to get the decorations out and we were like where the where are the
Starting point is 00:11:02 VHSs because we need to watch Pee We Herman's Christmas which is how we opened to this podcast podcast I haven't even had to sit in my wine yet yeah oh that's Ew. Why do I do this to myself? I was just trying to bug you because you're my sister. I like to push your buttons, but really it bugs me. And that was just like backfired. A backfire.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Sidney would say instant karma. Instant karma. That's what that was. Mm-hmm. Anyways, that's what we were singing at the beginning of the podcast. Yes. Peawee's Christmas. Merry, Merry Christmas.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Meway's Christmas. Potato-eatery. If you guys don't know, Peewee's Christmas, do yourself. Go watch it on Netflix. It's on the flick. And so we were dancing and we lay down and we were just having this moment of quiet time and watching Christmas movies. And Sydney said, Mom, I'm just so grateful. Thank you for everything.
Starting point is 00:11:56 I kind of, I feel like I'm going to cry because I'm just so grateful. And I'm like, yeah, she's amazing. She is. She's amazing. She is such an amazing kid. Both of your kids are amazing. And then she said it again on our way home. You know, we went, we took them swimming tonight with their cousins.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Yeah. And we have pizza. and on the drive home, she goes, I'm feeling that grateful feeling again. And I said, you know what, Sid? Being grateful is probably the best feeling you could feel every day of your life. Absolutely. If I could feel one thing for the rest of my life, if you had a choice, what's one thing you would want to feel every day for the rest of your life?
Starting point is 00:12:34 It would be gratitude. No, for sure. For sure. No, it's okay. You say Frigg and for sure, and it's hilarious and I love you. But I thought that would be an interesting podcast to do. is on the same note as gratitude and being grateful is everybody makes these crazy new year's resolutions and i'm always like new year's resolutions i hate them too and i talked about this on another podcast
Starting point is 00:12:59 of just having better intentions for 2019 i like that way better even just even saying that just just that thought of just having better intentions better intentions for 2019 and so my last two podcasts were kind of like actually there are a lot of therapy you can tell you know you can always tell what I'm going through my life from my podcast this is true you know and I'm clearly going through a time of self-reflection and self-love and which is awesome yes and that's it's just the healthiest thing I could do right now and I'm feeling a lot of gratitude and I'm going into 2019 feeling excited for my intentions right that's good that's such a good thing and to be excited about And people have these unrealistic expectations of this,
Starting point is 00:13:47 what are your New Year's resolutions for 2019? And what I've always said, and what I always think to myself is setting small goals. Well, there's nothing small about a year. No. So we're going to break it down now. We're going to break it down for you, okay? So instead of you feeling overwhelmed with 2019,
Starting point is 00:14:10 we're going to break it down for you. And Haley and I will be discreet. 12 months of 30-day challenges. So each month will be setting a goal for yourself to do every day and 30 days, which they're small goals. Yeah, they are small and very reasonable. And they're all about just waking up, they're attainable. And they're about waking up in the morning and saying, this is my intention today. And I'm going to do it for 30 days. And then I'm going to reward myself and I'm going to feel good that I just did something for 30 days. And I'm going to reset. And I'm going to move into the next month with different intentions and then each month you can feel good about
Starting point is 00:14:45 what you've done that's right and and not disappoint yourself yeah not have these huge expectations on yourself but all while all while is that a saying all while all the while all the while it doesn't really apply to this so i'll just restart my sentence maintaining your expectations in small goals like all showing up each day for yourself right okay so So let's start with January. No, actually, we encourage everybody to take, take a minute. Go get yourself a pen. Pat of paper.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Pad of paper. Old school it. Because you know what? We old schooled it. We old schooled it. My laptop is dead. So Haley brought me a pad of paper and a pen and I said, you know what this is very appropriate for what. It is.
Starting point is 00:15:30 It's perfect. Who doesn't like crossing something off their list or writing something down? I'm such a list person and I don't use my phone. I use Post-it notes all the time or a pad of paper. something about it. Even my grocery lists I do on paper. Oh, me too. And then you wrap it around the little buggy handle. Well, yeah, you do. Yeah. What else would you do? Uh, hold it. Stupid. That's what that's for. That's what the handles for. Not pushing. It's for wrapping. It's for wrapping your grocery list around. Mm-hmm. So, okay, yep, I don't know. I don't know. There's
Starting point is 00:16:01 something I think, oh, actually I did a podcast on this with Ben Nempton from the buried life. Yeah, I listened. Where he said, you got to write things down. Yep. Because that's the first step to achieving your goals. So we are encouraging everybody to to write these down instead of putting them in your notes on your phone or getting on your laptop. Kick it old school. Kick it old school style. Break it down and and wiki, wiki, write it down. Y'all. So let's get into January. Okay. January is always tough. January's tough. So we wanted to ease you guys into the new year. Okay. So we're going to we're going to start it off real simple for you. But you know, quite challenging for us. others you're going to set your alarm 10 minutes earlier than you usually would and you're going to
Starting point is 00:16:45 make your bed you are going to make that bed you're going to make the shit out of that bed and you are going to do it for 30 well 31 days January yeah no 30 oh you know the knuckle trick January yeah um 30 days January would be yeah what actually January is 31 well that is a big Wow. What a mind f***. Wow. We're smart. Okay. S.M.R.T. January, you're going to make your bed every morning.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Love it. Because, you know what they say? A messy bed is a messy head. That's deep. Deep. It's pretty deep. Especially for this podcast. It's true. Actually, lately, this podcast has been pretty deep. Yeah, suck it, Ian.
Starting point is 00:17:30 I'm still clearly hanging out to the one guy on my season of the bashwet that said I was surface level. like, who the hell is Ian? Thank you. And you know what? Who the hell is Ian? Yeah. Anyways, if you wake up every morning and you make that bed, number one, it's just going
Starting point is 00:17:47 to start your day off, right? You're going to feel organized and you're going to feel a little motivated. Yeah. And you're going to know that at the end of the day, you get to come home to that freshly made bed. Totally. Wash your sheets a few times. How often do you wash your sheets, Haley?
Starting point is 00:17:59 Be honest. This can be a confession for me. Oh, I don't like it. I don't like it. Once a month. That's gross. Really? Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:14 Think of how much dirt and grime and grease you drag into your bed every day. And I'm not a big shower guy, so I like to make. I shower every day. Okay. Okay. Then I forgive you a little more because I despise showering. But I do eat in my bed before bed. Oh.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Before I go to sleep. So you got crumbs going on in there. Yeah, but I like, you know how you try and brush crumbs off? off of like your bed. Yeah, and then it just goes on to the floor and then your floor is dirty. I vacuum my floor a lot,
Starting point is 00:18:41 okay? Once a month. Is that a lot for you? Anyways, gross. I wash mine at least once every two weeks, but that still is like, I just love, I sleep better in fresh sheets.
Starting point is 00:18:54 No, I totally agree. Totally agree. But how much of a bitch is it to put the duvet covers on? Oh my God. I hate it. I would rather shit in my own hands and clap
Starting point is 00:19:05 then wash my duvet cover and put it back on i agree we just did that last night i actually make randy do it yeah yeah you got to make somebody else do i make my house cleaner do it she's a saint every time she's like oh weird that your duvet covers in the dryer when i need to put the towels in there i need to get me a cleaning lady mine is a she's just my hero she's my hero oh and her accent her southern accent she always goes girl oh my god i love it girl i I eat pizza every day. Oh, girl. I like her.
Starting point is 00:19:38 Oh, no, she's awesome. She's awesome. Okay. So, Jenny, right, and you know what? We're going to hold you guys to this. We want you to report back to us every 30 days of your month challenge. And you need to say, Caitlin, Haley, I did this? I felt really good about it.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Yeah. You can tell us the truth. Did you miss a couple days? Yeah, and that's okay. Forgive yourself. Totally. Not a big deal. It's about your intention.
Starting point is 00:19:57 And we're doing these, too. Yes. Oh, are you kidding me? Well, I always make my bed. I do not. That is something that I will. say starts my day off right and that's why i'm suggesting it and that's why we're starting off easy in january let's get into february okay give someone at least one compliment a day i love it
Starting point is 00:20:15 which is so simple it really is standing in line at target yeah welcome to target oh my god oh my god i love your shoes where'd you get them that's my target lady i just woke up your kids for sure oh for sure i did that on purpose uh give somebody a compliment yeah you know reach out i do that um it's so simple but if you set those intentions every day you wake up and you have an alarm each month you should send an alarm for every day of the month do this and then it'll remind you yeah like lots of the time i'll just be scrolling through my facebook and you know there's friends on there that you you know you haven't talked to or seen for quite a long time and lots of the time i'll just you know what i'm gonna send them a message because you know
Starting point is 00:20:57 and i'll just say hey um you're looking really good in your pictures or you know what your kids are adorable and you know and every time people come back and say you know what that's so nice like thank you for even like taking the time to say that that's uh darra and i on the last podcast we're talking about um how weird it is for somebody if you just look them in the eye and actually want to know how they're doing yeah right like people are like mind blown by it they're like oh you really want to know like you really care so don't just say and a compliment to somebody just to say it pick something out and mean it like you really don't be mean girls and go oh my god I love that skirt where'd you get it oh my mom oh my god it's so vintage oh that is the ugliest skirt i've ever seen
Starting point is 00:21:38 in my life yeah not cool no actually mean your compliment tell somebody compliment be genuine about it yeah love that be genuine uh march spend five minutes focusing on your breath every day now people are like five minutes like people can don't people do not have time to watch a one minute video on instagram i know i know i don't i'm like oh minute video good luck getting through that gil i know randy always tries to show me these five minute videos i'm like are you serious see no but it's not that again set your alarm five minutes early wake up and this is what dara taught me is to um maybe i'll make an instagram video about what i'm about to do because it's this cleansing motion of a meditation that you it's like you're scooping water
Starting point is 00:22:25 and dumping it on your head and scoop and dump and scoop and dump and you do that for three minutes and you focus on your breath. Three to five minutes, let's say. Okay. Focus on your breath every morning before you look at your phone. Yeah. Before you, for sure, pee. Do whatever you've got to do there, but don't look at your phone.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Don't, just, just pee if you have to. Go right back into your bed and sit up and do the scoop and dump motion. An Instagram about that. Yeah, I will. So that you can, yeah. For three to five minutes and focusing on your breath every morning. And then again, report back to us at the end of 30 days. and tell me if you feel different at the end of your month.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Yeah. You know? Yeah. I love that. And commit to it. This is the challenge about, you know, we're not giving you a year thing. We're giving you 30 days every month to focus on one thing and challenge yourself to not. You know, even those days you're like, no, I'd rather sleep for five minutes.
Starting point is 00:23:21 No. No. Sit up and you scoop and dump. That's March. This is why you guys need to write this down because you need visuals for everything. month. Okay, April. This is Haley's favorite. Donate. Donate or toss something every day. And that sounds crazy to people, but I did this podcast with the home edit ladies who they're mega organizers. And they say the people who feel cluttered, it's just starting with, you know, getting rid of
Starting point is 00:23:53 something. Yeah. Whether it's a blanket, a big bulky sweater that you never wear. A casserole dish that you don't use a casserole dish you got a couple of those laying around I'm a mom I do a strainer you know yeah I just bought a new one and I had two other ones see get rid of that clutter girlfriend of the two other ones yeah it's but that's so easy and you can take it to second hand stores absolutely they love that Google your local people will come pick up things from your house um there's um I can't remember what there's donation bins all over yeah yeah Whether it's a bag of clothes, a blanket, no matter what it is, a plate, just something, get rid of something or donate something every day. And maybe it is trash.
Starting point is 00:24:40 And maybe you do need to just get rid of it. Someone's trash is someone else's treasure. I disagree with that. Why? What if it's like something sentimental that you're hanging on to from a relationship like five years ago that you just need to get rid of? You just, you burn that shit. Yeah, you burn and turn. That's right.
Starting point is 00:24:57 You burn it and you turn the page. Love it. Yeah. Mm-hmm. And on that note, what? Did you have something else to say? No, I did not. But I'm trying to think of something better.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Like, okay, not a blanket. Like, what else could you... Ooh, look at your Christmas trees. It's beautiful. So pretty. That's a nice one. I know. Except it has glitter on it.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Oh, so you have glitter. There's glitter. Puking all over your house. Puking all over my house and I hate it. Glitter throw up. Yeah. Ew. Oh.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Hangers. Look all those hangers you got. Now I'm like just going to look around your house and pick apart the clutter. Cups. Look at all those. cups you have you don't need all those cups look at that stupid book you got laid right
Starting point is 00:25:35 give her that stupid that's my favorite book Caitlin okay keep the book keep the book um what month are we on may this is a good one because we decided this is a nice month to get outside every single day there's people out there who suffer from depression anxiety
Starting point is 00:25:54 from anything if you just get outside oh it does so much it's it's crazy it's crazy even if even if it's you're going to get groceries park farther away and then just walk and just breathe in that air yeah breathe in the air it's it does wonders it's the simple things in life and that's one of them is fresh air yeah fresh air does so much that's that was one thing I loved about having Tucker is that it forced me you know I had to take him out to go outside and each time I did I was like wait why was I dreading that I feel so much better yeah and every time he had to go out I'd be like, you know, you're going to feel better when you get back inside because you just went for a nice little walk.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Yeah. May, not too hot, not too cold. Just right. Just right. Just right. Get outside. Move. Breathe in the air.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Five minute walk, even. I mean, I'm going to go ahead and say a little longer than five. Well, you got to start somewhere. Day one, start at five. Day 30. Yeah. Yeah, like keep moving up. 30 minutes.
Starting point is 00:26:53 June. June. This is my favorite. Hey, May, get outside. That you really like that one. that's your birthday month June my birthday month laughter journal oh I love this one laughter journal like everyone says like oh a gratitude journal or a thought journal or whatever but my god a laughter journal what made
Starting point is 00:27:11 you laugh today just anything think about that if you wrote down what made you laugh for 30 days and then you go back and read each day something that made you laugh in it like that is good for the soul what made you laugh today um Sydney's four night dance oh my god that she's intense she's hilarious she is hilarious yeah i the one thing that sticks out to me not from today but not long ago um i had to say to brodie brodie brodie take that cheetah out of your belly button no like it's stuff like that right that i just like i write those things down so that i can look back and laugh moms would have some real funny laughter journals oh man this is what i heard this morning lane lane downstairs sidney's upstairs talking to her friend on face
Starting point is 00:27:57 time and she goes you know what i used to think poop was your butt throwing up ice cream like what it doesn't even make sense i was like oh my god she doesn't know i can hear but i want to write that see i should i should i'll have that down you write it down yeah you write that shit down and you laugh about it later what's that from well i don't know anchor band veronica i wrote it down in my diary and i was going to laugh about it later veronica I made a very funny joke today. I love it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:33 So that was June. Laughter Journal. 30 days. Do it. You will not regret that. 30 days. I love that. Laughter journal.
Starting point is 00:28:40 I mean, look at all these things. We're only half the month through. And imagine what you would feel every day and at the end of the month. And I'm so sick of people making excuses. Yeah. Do these simple things for your own freaking soul and your own happiness. Think about how you'll feel at the end of all these months. Are you speaking right to me right now?
Starting point is 00:28:56 Right. to your goddamn crystal blue persuaders. Your eyeballs. Okay. July. July. July. You know on Saturday Night Live, when Will Ferrell does Robert Goulet,
Starting point is 00:29:21 Robert Goulet, Goulet, Shibang, shibop, pop, thong, stuff like that. July. Anyways, July. This is going to be a tricky one, but it's going to bring everybody a lot of joy. Zero gossip. Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:39 We all do it. We are all guilty of it. Definitely. Oh, way to transition. I know, right. I didn't say for sure. Yeah. Good for you.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Yeah, I know. Good for you. Zero gossip. Like, it's hard. That's so hard. And even, like, you can take it next. level and like no negativity. Right?
Starting point is 00:30:00 Like, no? Well, that would be, I mean, imagine a world. Well, we can all dream. But I happen to enjoy a little negativity every once in a while. You're the devil. I'm just, I just, I don't know. There's something where I'm like, no, I, you know what? This is who I am and I'm a little negative right now.
Starting point is 00:30:21 So I need a more realistic goal. Okay. Because I think it's impossible to not be negative for 30 days. I mean, I love where your head's at But come on Good effort There's no way Like I'm like today I woke up
Starting point is 00:30:35 Had a freaking moment about the wrinkles under my eye Did you? Yeah, I did I was like Yeah Botox can only do so much But I just I was like You know what I have to embrace this because
Starting point is 00:30:48 There's no fighting aging I mean there's fighting it because there is Botox But I mean there's no You can't help but get older and I've really tried to work on my mindset of you get to get older but I was negative for a hot second and that's okay you're allowed so the no because then it makes you no gossip yeah it's realistic but the negative thoughts almost make you human oh yeah but I mean oh oh yeah yeah yes but it does it it it makes you appreciate other things you know it does it
Starting point is 00:31:25 does let's say let's go with that okay but no gossip yeah wow that's gonna be and you're gonna catch yourself and that's okay right as long as you're aware yeah like be aware and then do better that's one of my favorite sayings do better do better just do you hear me I'm actually having notes on to the next page do better yeah along with the no gossiping just every day think do better yeah I love that that that's usually my intention going into the next year is do better than the last yeah just be a better person yeah you were last year yep Yep. August.
Starting point is 00:31:58 These are getting a little tricky, but they go back to... But you're going to be a pro by August. Right. And you're going to be so... Because what was the stat we looked up? It takes... 21 days. 21 days to break a habit.
Starting point is 00:32:11 To break a habit. And 66 to form one? Yep. So if you're doing all these challenges every month, August, you're going to be like, give me a new challenge. Your new habit. Your new habit is going to be forming new habits. Your new habit is going to be getting...
Starting point is 00:32:25 addicted to your 30-day challenges. Yes. August. Yoga or 30 minutes of meditation every day. That's a lot. That's a lot. But why not challenge yourself? That's 30 days of 365 days.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Mm-hmm. 30 days. And you're going to feel damn good after it. Oh, your mind is going to be so clear. So fresh. So clear. So fresh and so clear, clear. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Ain't nobody. Fresh as me. Just so fresh and so clear, clear. Oh my God. But seriously, think about that. Yoga for 30 days. Okay. Do it and tell me you don't feel better.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Number one, I've never done yoga in my life. What? Never. Why? Never had the desire. But I think you'd really like it. I think I would too. But I'm so intimidated to go into yoga.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Everybody knows all these friggin. Yeah, but there's so, there's other places for you to go. You don't need to go. And I get intimidated going into yoga. I used to be the yoga queen. When I lived in Newfoundland, I would do yoga every day. Yeah. And I loved it.
Starting point is 00:33:34 And they wanted me to instruct there because I was there every day. Yeah. And I still get intimidated going into yoga studios. Yeah. Because I haven't done it a long time. But there's, there's yoga for like just stretching or just like your mind. And meditation is so huge. I do it all the time.
Starting point is 00:33:52 I've actually started to do it a lot more. more yeah which i love it i can't believe how clear yes my mind is after and you get excited to do it you're like i'm feeling a little anxious throw on a meditation and then you feel better after so do it for 30 days you little assholes what is wrong with me right now i'm getting in a weird zone no i know and i've only had two sips of the i mean i had wine before this but yeah but only like a glass like that's nothing what's going on i don't know it is the season to be crazy la la la la la la la la la la la la la ha i tried to harmonize horrible little pitchy dog little pitchy hey guys we're going to take a mid show break it's a new year and another chance to bring some magic back into your

Starting point is 00:36:46 September. Learn a new word. I love this one. Whatever you do, don't download that stupid app that makes you learn a new word every day because the word, let me just show you. The words are insane or? They don't even, they're so. They're just something that you wouldn't use in everyday language. I don't even know how to pronounce them.
Starting point is 00:37:05 Oh, word. See, I deleted my app. I did. It was like word of the day. Shundalasias. Come on. No, that's. Sympati.
Starting point is 00:37:18 skinned. Wow, that went on way longer than I should have. I just looked at my Google history and it's Connor McDavid GQ magazine. Oh, he looks good. Yeah. I feel like I'm robbing the cradle saying that, but he looks good. He looks good. You look good.
Starting point is 00:37:38 I mean, really good. What was I going to? Oh, word of the day. Okay. So learning a new word of the day, I think is, and applying it. Applying it in a sentence That's the real tricky part That's right
Starting point is 00:37:51 Word of the day Okay So like So like sufficiently saffonsified Pardon What's that mean? Use it in a sentence After you finish a meal
Starting point is 00:38:02 I am sufficiently sophonsified I am sufficiently full I am Oh so just say satisfied No Okay Because you want to expand your vocabulary You say
Starting point is 00:38:12 What do they say it was Sufficiently sophonsified That's like when on Clueless, remember when Cher tells her to learn a new word and she gives her the word sporadically. Yes. And it's like, what does she say? It's like, oh, not very often. Like sporadically, like once in a while. Oh, once in a while.
Starting point is 00:38:34 Yeah. And then she has a, this girl has a crush on her brother. And then the brother comes in and she goes, he goes, yeah, hope to see you soon. And she goes, yeah, hope it's not sporadically. Word of the day. Word of the day. See, this one is. Oh.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Is this? What? My phone listens to me. What do you mean? How do you say this? Canoris? Oh, it's. Canoras.
Starting point is 00:38:58 Yeah. Conoris. Pleasant sounding or? What? How do you say that word? Melodias. Melodias. Melodius.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Melodias. Like a melody? I think it's melodious. Melodias. Melodias. No, no, no. We need the other word. This is where I struggle with the word of the day, because I'm like, I can't even pronounce the definition.
Starting point is 00:39:23 Okay. But I think I know. We were talking about pleasant sounds earlier and what satisfying sounds. Yeah. Anyways, so canaurus. I'm going to use that in a sentence later in this podcast. Canorris. Pleasant sound.
Starting point is 00:39:42 Okay. Learn a new word, September. Conoris. Yeah. That was just today. Now, think about if you learn 30 new words and applying them. I would sound like the Vienna who is on my podcast, the therapist. God, she's well-spoken.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Oh, my gosh. I was like, this girl's good. You know, like on Billy Madison when at the end, he goes, we are now all dumber for him listening to that. She talks. I'm like, I am dumb. I am. I'm dumb.
Starting point is 00:40:12 Dumb. Because I can't speak like you. October. Right. This is easy. My health and wellness coach, Aaron Trillor, maybe if I was ever like having a panic mode where I was like, oh, Aaron, I'm feeling on it. She's like, go to sit at your computer and send me a hundred things you love about yourself.
Starting point is 00:40:29 A hundred. Yeah, that's crazy. One freaking hundred things. One thing is hard. Well. Yeah. Well, I mean, I got down to like, I was like, I really love that one freckle on my back shoulder blade. It's pretty sexy.
Starting point is 00:40:44 It's the perfect shade of brown. it's the perfect circumference and diameter is that in radius yeah it's just good it it is good stuff anyways did I mention my one eyelash that grew overnight that thing's good too that's like I had like that's where my mind was going by the end of it but 30 should not be hard every day no one a day yeah yeah okay so by the end of it you only have 30 things you love about yourself, like that should be peanuts. Mm-hmm. It should.
Starting point is 00:41:20 It should be. So October, write down one thing you love about yourself every day. Next to your laugh journal. Maybe it's a canaurus sound you make. Too soon, too soon. Way too soon. Okay, November. Now, this one's going to be a real bitch for me.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Okay. Drink eight glasses of water a day. Oh, me too. drink eight glasses of water a day i know and that's that's just the norm that's what you're supposed to i drink one a day and i'm like gagging i drink like one a day and i'm like oh i am doing good yeah i like have what i'm like i'm so hydrated yeah i am so healthy healthy a f i'm like peeing every eight hours i'm so hydrated today i peed once what pardon me well actually twice i woke up this morning okay last night the hell
Starting point is 00:42:17 Last night I peed, sorry, everybody, but, like, I don't know what time, like, nine before we got into bed. Yeah. It was an early night. And then I didn't have to pee this morning until, like, 10.30. Yeah, you really need to drink more water. And then 10.30. And then until, like, I don't know. Have babies.
Starting point is 00:42:37 Then you'll have to, you'll pee a lot more. Well, soon enough, my friend. We were joking today. I'm like, oh, my gosh. I have, I have. eight nieces and nephews on dad and Kathy's side. Is that what it is? Well,
Starting point is 00:42:52 going to be nine. Going to be nine. Going to be nine. And no, I'm not pregnant. No, I'm not pregnant. Oh,
Starting point is 00:42:59 yeah, you're drinking water. I'm definitely not pregnant. One of our stepsisters is pregnant. Yes. And I was like, God, my poor kids,
Starting point is 00:43:08 my poor unborn children, because they're going to have all adult cousins by the time. But then we figured that they'll be already second cousins coming around. Right. So really, the timings, it'll be fine. Couldn't be more perfect. Everything's fine. Everything's fine.
Starting point is 00:43:21 Everything's fine. We're fine. Everything's fine. Everything's fine. I'm not worried about it. Don't worry about it. No, there's nothing to be worried about it. No, no.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Not worried at all. No. October to write one thing that you love about yourself. Yes. That was a poor sentence. What's one thing you love about yourself right now? I love my freckles. I love your freckles.
Starting point is 00:43:43 I used to hate them. Oh, I love them. I used to like, dread the summer because they come out so much more in the summer. Freckles are so beautiful. But now I like don't, I mean, I should, but I don't want to put on like sunscreen on my face because of my freckles come out more. I mean, that's excessive.
Starting point is 00:44:00 Okay, fine. But I just love them. Yeah, they are good. I love your freckles. They've inspired me to freckle tattoo freckles on my face. I know when you got them, I'm like, that's right, Caitlin, you want to be like me. Yeah. Because you're probably like your whole life, you're probably like, oh, Caitlin doesn't have
Starting point is 00:44:14 freckles. And I was always like, oh, I want freckles. It's true. And now you embrace them. Always. Yeah. Who doesn't want what they don't have? I mean,
Starting point is 00:44:22 I'm learning and I'm getting better. Yeah, but I think it's just human nature. That's just how humans are. Yeah, the grass always looks greener, right? Yeah. Even though it's not necessarily because they say that grass is watered. No, it's fertilized with bullshit.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Oh, that's true. We like that. Right? With bullshit. Boshit. That's bullshit, bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. Um, drink cake glasses of water is also bullshit. But that's what we're doing, guys.
Starting point is 00:44:46 for November, December. Now, this one, you have to, we have to clarify. We have to, um, no expectations in December. Yeah. But within reason.
Starting point is 00:45:00 Yeah. You can't just, you can't, you can't just throw everything away as a crutch. No. You can't use it as an excuse. Oh, well, I don't expect it.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Oh, I don't expect this. You have your morals and your values, but also don't expect things from people or like, Like with my podcast with Vienna. It's like your boundaries with family at the holidays. We thought December would be a good month for no expectations because it's like if you go into family stress or you're like, someone's going to do this or someone's going to do this. Go in with no expectations.
Starting point is 00:45:34 You go into work. You're Monday to Friday and you're going in every day. I'm like, my boss is going to piss me off. This person's going to get on my nerves. I'm going to eat this bad. I'm going to not work out. Go into it with no expectations. So, you know, my boss might piss me off today, but I'm going to, it just, is that?
Starting point is 00:45:53 Yeah. Yeah. Like, don't expect it and don't look for it. Like, throw out the negative, like, I'm a big believer in whatever you put out into the universe, we'll come back to you. Yeah. Right? So don't throw that, that negative energy.
Starting point is 00:46:09 Yeah. Oh, don't have those expectations of negative things. That's right. Oh, that's what it should be. Yeah, that's it. Don't expect negative things to happen. happen to you that's right because then negative things will happen to you yeah and that's not bullshit that it's bullshit it's just not cool bro but that's it's it's just having
Starting point is 00:46:28 yeah no expectations in into into certain situations in your life and I feel like December's very hectic for people it's nuts it's nuts it's it's supposed to be like the most wonderful time of the year but it's hell that's bullshit that's bullshit We calm ourselves down with Christmas happy movies, but really, we're all very stressed out. Oh, and as a mom, I feel like there's just so much more expectation to live up to almost. But you know what? When it comes down to it, you're doing that to yourself. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Right? You really are. You are. You're putting that all on yourself. Don't do that to yourself. And then you're also putting that on your kids because they're going to have high expectations every Christmas. That's right. Mom.
Starting point is 00:47:16 You know what? You know what, Mom, if you're listening, you really set the bar high, okay? Because now every Christmas, when I don't have 80 presents under the tree, I'm like, what the hell gives? Like, this year I put up a Christmas tree in my big empty house, and I was like, oh, shit, there's not one present under there. But I love it. I was like, you know what, good for me for even putting up a tree. Absolutely. That's awesome that you did.
Starting point is 00:47:39 Yeah, it is. Because I'm my own soulmate. And if I want presents under that tree, I'm going to work hard. I'm going to put them under there myself. Not a girl. But I would love if I found a man who wanted to put a lot of presents under the tree. Well, you did ship your niece and nephew's presents to your own house instead of my house. And your present.
Starting point is 00:48:02 And my present. But you told me. That is classic Auntie Katie right there. Oh, it is. Like to a tea. To a tea. Mm. Mm.
Starting point is 00:48:10 Mm. Should we get to some Q&A's? Oh, let's do it. We did the 12 months. So Haley and I talked about doing this podcast, and we were trying to come up with what to talk about. And we realized that it was a perfect time to talk about 2019 because we're just getting into it. But we also wanted to answer some questions from listeners because my Off the Vine Facebook group or just my little Vinoes in general, they're just the best.
Starting point is 00:49:42 There's gems. They're just rare. gems and they are just so supportive and and they're like my kind of people like I feel like one girl said to me the other day she tweeted me and she goes I was rocking a power pony with a do in my hair and some girl came up and said scrunchy gang and they fist bumped oh that's oh I was like you know what life made there was any reason I went on the bachelor that is it it was to create my own scrunchy line and have girls feel like they're part of a gang and fist bump That's so awesome.
Starting point is 00:50:15 Yeah. I really, look, Mom made it. I really felt good about that. Okay. Okay. What kind of questions we got going on here?
Starting point is 00:50:23 Well, lots of people want to know about our childhood and some of the, yeah, the crazy stuff we did as kids. But, I mean, I was an angel compared to you. Really? Well, yeah, I guess. Yeah. You think you're an angel compared to me? uh well in different aspects yeah um you were more of a little biotch to mom and dad correct
Starting point is 00:50:50 but you were more of like a rebel and like a yeah but i was but i was like a mom and dad's girl that's more of a second child thing to her like the baby of the family yeah i get i got away with more anyways yeah you oh you oh i definitely got away with more with more um Okay, so favorite TV shows growing up, what did we always watch? Full House. T-G-I-F. Oh, full-house, step-by-step, family matters. And the last show always like, switched.
Starting point is 00:51:27 It was like, Sabrina. It was hanging with Mr. Cooper. She could put up to do that hanging to Mr. Cooper. Sabrina was in the mix sometimes. Yeah, which I liked. Oh, I know. Today's special Come join in the fun
Starting point is 00:51:45 Today's special It's for everyone There's magic everywhere A world for us to share With friendly faces hoping that you'll want to meet us there Oh today's special It's about to begin
Starting point is 00:52:09 It's about to begin. Today's special. Sing it loud and clear. Today's special. Today's special is garbage. There was a different special every day. Oh, and it was trash, not garbage, but trash is...
Starting point is 00:52:27 It was also a Canadian show where a mannequin... Then why would they say trash? Because it's garbage here, not trash. Who knows? They're probably Americans, but it was a Canadian show. It was. Anyways, love that show. but we were big full house people huge full house guys oh wow full house family matters oh sorry
Starting point is 00:52:45 not family um today's special and there's one there's some mom used to watch her shows she called it her shows and she'd watch like days of our lives and all my children yes and i'd call today's special my show i'd be like i have to watch my show today and it would be today's oh and lots of the elephant show like Sharon losen bram Sharon lous and bram this is all Canadian is that Canadian is that Canadian is Mr. Dressup Canadian too mm-hmm Fred Penner all Canadian Haley what about Mr. Rogers that's definitely American Red Rogers R-I-P Oh, I know
Starting point is 00:53:14 I gotta pour one out for him Don't pour that on my table Yep, just did You're a bitch I just poured red wine on my sister's table To pour one out for Fred Rogers everybody For my homie For my home boy
Starting point is 00:53:27 My home boy Fred What were the biggest things We fought about as kids Who got the bathroom to get ready For us before school The Hot Rollers We fought over those hot rollers. I hated you over the hot rollers.
Starting point is 00:53:42 I won all the time. You had to get mom to put in your hot rollers and I could do it on my own. Okay, Missy, who tried to curl her own hair when she was in kindergarten and fell off the bathroom counter and broke her arm. Yeah, well, you know what? That's called determination. And guess who became a hairstylist? Yeah, me, not you. Yeah, because I didn't need to make money off of it.
Starting point is 00:54:01 I was just, I was too good. Oh, God. Definitely broke my rest, though. lots of people want to know like what's the hardest thing about having my sister in the public eye oh yeah what is it and that's a good jealous bro get right kailin you set it on your podcast a couple there's no way you would like that i would not i am happy with like being in la duke alberta and just live in my life and just there i i know i know that for a fact i wouldn't have joked about it if I thought that was a trigger.
Starting point is 00:54:38 You definitely would not like. It's so true. But I, you know what, having you like in the public eye, the hardest thing is as much as I try not to is the negative comments. Like I try not to read them. But don't you see that like it doesn't really affect me? No, it does not affect you. But so I mean, sometimes it pisses me off, but don't, doesn't it make it easier that I'm like
Starting point is 00:55:02 yeah, but I understand because if people were talking shit about you, I'd get so mad. Right. Right. And that goes into another question. Who's, who's most, um, you know what I'm trying to say. Sensitive? No, not sensitive. Like, I don't know. I like, who has each other's back more? Oh, you know what I mean? Like, who's more protective? I think I'm more protective of you. Yeah. Yeah. I think that goes with being the older sister. That's true. Yeah. I'm a protective of you, but I'm also like, I want to challenge you where I'm like, oh, you challenge me so much. And I'm like, Screw off, Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:55:38 But it's because I care. I know. If I didn't care, I just would ignore you and I would avoid you. I like to challenge you. Please don't do that. I like to challenge you because I think you're capable of a lot. Yeah, I am capable of a lot. It's just doing it.
Starting point is 00:55:53 It's the execution. Yeah, I have a problem with the execution. You're capable, but your execution is lacking. My thoughts are like amazing, but then the execution. Yeah. I hear that. Favorite summer memories? Oh, driving road trips up to our cabin at the Shuswap Lake in B.C.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Where mom would pack us like the best goodie bags for the road trips. Oh my gosh. Like flashlights for the tunnels. Yeah, because when you drive through BC like around like golden and stuff, there's all these like tunnels that you have to drive through. And I think we would get scared. So mom would get us little mini flashlights. Oh, I just thought she did it for fun.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Oh, I think you were scared. I was scared. I was scared. I was scared. but yeah we'd have flashlights yeah and uh what was it oh the the um the tapes oh the story tapes yeah there was like um when you hear this sound ding yeah turn the page oh turn the page and then we would go to our cabin that had no running water yeah no electricity yeah no phone lines no there was a party line there was a party line finally oh yeah where you could pick up the phone and like if it was three beeps
Starting point is 00:57:08 you would hear it through all the cabins but if it was three beeps it was your phone yeah but if it was two it was a neighbor but you could still pick up and listen yeah god i love our child i love our childhood memories too but you know what i got to bring up at the cabin oh i already know two things that you could be talking about right now okay either me pulling down my pants yes that's exactly what i was going talk about you just went to the bottom like right by the dock right by the lake and just frigging whip down your pants and just stood there you just freaking stood there but i know why it was my move where if i was angry i would pull down my pants if i was mad sick move kate yeah thanks if i was mad at mom or dad or you pulling down my pants in my brain in my three-year-old brain
Starting point is 00:57:50 told me that i'll show them i'm gonna whip down these pants right now i remember being in a cookie monster pink pink sweatpants yes and i remember going i'll show them and i walked down the steps of the cabin and i pulled down my pants and i crossed my arms and i remember thinking i was proven a point oh yeah i should still do that there's a picture of that you have it i could probably find it i need to find that it was my move when i got mad i would pull down my pants that is so funny and i remember We were thinking like that was like a logical, yeah, it made sense to me. It made sense to you in your brain. Yeah, and pull down your pants and you're going to teach them a lesson.
Starting point is 00:58:28 Yeah. But really, everybody was just laughing at me taking photos. Absolutely, we were. Too bad there wasn't boomerang back in that day. That would make an epic boomerang. Yeah, I would. Um, okay, what's your favorite thing about me and then I'll tell you my favorite thing about you? Your sense of humor.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Your sick, twisted, weird sense of humor that like aligns with mine that sometimes I can't even. Yeah. portray on the podcast it's true it's uh it's pretty it's pretty pretty up um really that's well i mean that stood out immediately but i would say more of you have a very generous heart i don't i mean i do do i'm getting better you are getting a lot better because you didn't before you don't know how many times well and even to like even presents for mom and dad um even well like you know when i was not a gift giver though I would put your name on every goddamn gift that I gave them.
Starting point is 00:59:25 Yeah. And I wouldn't ask you for money. You're right. And now I put. But you're getting a lot better. I am getting better. You did put your name or my name on flowers for mom. Yeah, I did.
Starting point is 00:59:37 Right? For her birthday. I mean, I forgot, but I had to call them. I mean, I totally forgot to put your name on them. But then you were like, remember all the times? I was like, I'm going to call them and put your name on it. And I did. And he did.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Okay. You made good on it. That's good. Um, okay. And my favorite thing about you. Okay. Are you ready? No. What? No, nothing. It's just, I already think I know. What? No, you go. How I am with your kids. Oh, well, of course. That's obvious. No, but the amount of self-respect you have for yourself. Oh. I love that. Cool. Yeah. I love that. I aspire to be like that. Oh. I do. That's really nice because that's something I work really hard on. I know you do. But it's, it's. It's. It's. It's. It's something that I am not jealous of, but I do strive to be like that. That's really nice. Yeah. I feel like I feel like I went through, I mean, I talk about this all the time,
Starting point is 01:00:32 20s of like not knowing who I was, but I always wanted to get to know who I was. And then I got to a point where I was like, actually dig deep, Caitlin, and get to know who are. And that from getting to know myself and going to therapy and being open and honest with the world. and looking at myself from a different place than like a judgmental place which I've done definitely a lot but where I am now is I do I have so much self-respect
Starting point is 01:01:01 you do I mean I am like there's things I need to work on but I know what I deserve I know I deserve happiness I know I'm like so unique and I know that my heart is cheesy but it's pure I know I want good things And we were raised with good morals, good values, and we do have peer hearts, even though we have sick, twisted senses of humor. And can I be a huge bitch? Absolutely. Everybody can. And that's okay. But it's all because, you know why? Sometimes I'm a huge bitch. Yeah. It's because I'm, I'm, I say no to things. And because I'm like, no, but saying no is okay. Right. That's what I'm saying is I can, I can go through life and go, this doesn't make me happy. And maybe it's a little bit selfish too.
Starting point is 01:01:46 but but this doesn't make me have this doesn't fill my soul this isn't what I want to do being selfish in that regard is okay yeah that is so okay and so good for your soul yeah you you have to do I am all about taking care and you know what I do think that came a lot from going on TV because I think I realized how you can get caught up in social media or yeah some level of fame and reality fame is very short lived and I think I was like I need to stay so grounded and I need to do a lot of soul searching and I need to do a lot of work with professionals and I need to always work on self-love but I remember coming off that show and crying about my hair being thin or crying about that or throwing fits about like being this person and I just worked so hard on
Starting point is 01:02:36 that and three years of hard work on yourself will go a long way so imagine if you start now and you know yeah no it's very noticeable that you have self-respect which I think is huge that's nice yeah yeah thank you you're welcome that's probably one of the best compliments i've received oh yeah okay well i'm glad but it's it's the truth i mean you can only be told you're pretty for so long i mean come on i'm just not more than i used to get so annoyed at like dance competitions the judges would always be like you you girls are so pretty you know we're always as dancers i feel like you're always looked at for your appearance yep you are and getting older realizing like I think I talked about this with Dara too, like with Victoria's Secret models.
Starting point is 01:03:19 Like it's a dying breed because women are so much more than their appearance now and people know it. Oh yeah. It's very, it's made very aware and it's made very like it's acknowledged. Yeah, it's acknowledged and it's embraced and it's okay. And I think too like seeing how much I can like accomplish like I'm like, what else can I do? What else can I do? Because I'm my own person and I can do anything. Yeah, that's great.
Starting point is 01:03:49 Bree is one of my favorite things. She always says, um, she calls herself super Breer, super mom. And Seb, her little boy started calling her that because he's like, you can do anything, mom. Oh. Okay. So the note that Sydney gave me the other day says, dear my lovely mom, I love you and always remember that we all appreciate what you do. and it shows a lot. Stay strong, big girl.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Stop. Swear to God. And then it says, we love you. That's like when on a stepbrothers, when she says, stay golden pony boy. Stay strong, big girl. That's awesome. That's amazing.
Starting point is 01:04:32 Sidney. I know. Okay, bless her little soul. Oh, she's got such. Bless her heart. Just bless her little soul. She's got an old soul. She does.
Starting point is 01:04:41 Okay, one more. Okay. Do you think we have time? Yeah, one more. Perfect timing, actually. Okay, good. Weirdest family tradition. Oh, do you know what this is?
Starting point is 01:04:49 Yeah, ready? Wait, wait, wait, wait, I got to think. What is our whole family do? Oh, okay. One, two, three. Hanging spoons on your nose. Yeah. That is weird.
Starting point is 01:05:00 See, that's just like in my mind is kind of normal. But it's like all of us can do it. And I did it for at work the other day. And no one else can do it. No one else can do it. Nobody else. Oh, that's how we should. excuse me promote this podcast yeah let's do a picture of hanging spoons okay yeah I'm full of
Starting point is 01:05:18 weird weird talents that's definitely one of them it is and it runs in the family it's like the whole mom's not like we have big like scoopy noses like they're actually quite they're quite well I got a little bit of a piggy nose oh see I wish I did mine's a little bicky yeah see mine kind of tilts up a bit but it's weird because everybody has different noses yet everybody can still do that It's the trick. It's going, oh, I hate that noise. So do I. And on the spoon and then hanging it.
Starting point is 01:05:45 Yeah, but no, but other people try. Yeah, but no, but yeah, but no, but no, yeah, but no, but no, but, yeah, but other people try and they can't. They can't do it. It's a skill, you know what? It's a life skill. And my kids can do it, too. What? It's in our blood.
Starting point is 01:05:59 It is. It's creepy. Whoa. Some people are athletes. We hang. Motherf-fitt. And some people are spoonhangers. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:08 And on that note, let's tell a joke to end this podcast. All right. You ready? This comes straight out of Brody's mouth. Straight out of Brody's mouth. Why did the smartphone need glasses? Well, I know the answer, but please tell me. Because lost all its contacts.
