Everybody, if you have been watching Big Brother this season, you know that today's guest
doesn't exactly do quiet.
And me either.
Okay.
Me either.
He gave us one of the biggest personalities of the summer, found himself at the center of
just about every major house blow up, kept one of the biggest secrets in the game, and even
after his eviction, people are still debating everything from the tea party to whether
he was actually the biggest threat in the house.
Today, we're getting to all the business.
behind-the-scenes stories that you didn't see on TV, what was really happening on the live
feeds, and his unfiltered thoughts about how the rest of the season is playing out.
I am. Please tell me how you pronounce your last name, by the way.
Okay, it's French, so it's Dupuy.
Dupuy. But Dupuy is what my parents say.
Jason DePuze. Yes.
Oh, that's chic.
Isn't that kind of hot?
It's really hot.
I'm used to as tittyes, so like I'm adjusting back to Dupuy now.
I like it. It's nice. Okay.
One thing that I found fascinating is that you intentionally walked into the house
as Jason, not Selena.
Why was that so important to you?
And I'm sure you're answering questions
that you were like,
okay, for the 20th time, but...
No, first of all,
this is my first podcast
and being out of the house.
And like, you know, before,
it was always about drag race, drag race.
This is the first time getting talked
about Big Brother like this.
Oh my real.
So, yeah, I kind of, in my audition process,
I've been, I've auditioned maybe
for Big Brother like three or four times
in the past seven years.
But I auditioned for, like,
Survivor was always the show I wanted to do,
but I never submitted a tape.
So when I got the call for this, I was like, you know, I'm 35.
I'm a little older.
I'm kind of exhausted with drag.
That's oversaturated market.
There's not a lot of money in it.
It's uncomfortable.
So I was like, I don't really have time to like be myself a lot of the times, like outside
of drag.
And it's always about her.
So I kind of was like, this is an opportunity for an entire summer, well, three weeks.
That's okay.
Kind of discover who I am, you know, and not have to worry about the drag queen so much.
in the Big Brother House, I thought, you know, even talking to the producers, they're like,
this is the perfect place to do that.
Well, I was just thinking, I'm like, three weeks of just, like, figuring out who you are is a long time.
You know, but it's like 24 hours of complete isolation of by yourself thoughts and, like,
trying to communicate with these random strangers.
So, like, yeah, three weeks, but also three weeks of not having your phone, not being in the world.
Like, that really does give you time to really figure out what you're about.
Even if you are living with a bunch of random strangers and you're constantly,
like talking about it. You still are isolated at the end of the day. Yeah. And I mean,
and like leading up into going in the house, there's like a detox that happens too, you know?
So that that didn't help. I mean, that did help, but like also. It also makes you get in your head.
Exactly. I was like, oh wait, who am I again? They do that on The Bachelor. Before you go into the
mansion and get in the limo with everybody, you have to sit in a hotel for like three days with your
thoughts just to start letting it all stir. Is that the same thing? Yeah. I don't know if I'm not to talk
about it, but it's like, it's a long time.
I'm pretty sure other people have said that on the podcast.
Yeah, it's like two weeks worth about yourself.
Two weeks? So that really
made me
forget who I was a little bit.
Yeah. And just with my own thoughts, I was like, okay. And then you get into the house
and you're like, wait, wait, okay, wait, who am I? How am I playing this game?
Wait, I had a whole strategy that's out the window now. I was going to say,
does your strategy? Because you do, you sit there and think about it for so long
before you go in. Does that blow up as soon as you walk in?
I think for me, yes. Because, you know, I
I went into the house and I think it really, your strategy and your game depends on the people in the house with you.
Yeah.
So if I had like you in the house, you know, like it would be a different game than if I had like, you know, Taylor or D in the house.
So like it depends on the people.
And I think when I saw the people, I said, oh, okay, how am I going to maneuver through these particular types of people?
Yeah.
So it does change.
And I actually had like a moment like, sorry.
Right, right, like right when we first got in the house, I like broke down because I was like, oh crap.
I'm the oldest.
I'm the biggest.
I'm the weird, no, you know, like weird, and I started getting my head.
And then all the girls started, like, crowding around me and, like, comforting me.
And in that moment, I thought, oh, my emotions are my superpower.
Bring people to me.
Yeah.
My vulnerability is kind of like, maybe that's how I'm going to play this game.
And that's why I chose to play, like, emotional warfare.
Look, it worked for Josh.
What is his name?
Josh, what was his last name?
Martinez?
Martinez.
I mean, I feel like we're cut from the same cloth, low-key, like kind of crazy, boisterous.
Yeah, high-key.
I feel like I, when I watched him, I'm always in Big Brother Pools, too.
And when I watched him, I, on day one, week one, I was like, he's not making it.
Like, he's gone.
He was like, I miss my mom.
He was crying.
And then all of a sudden he won.
And I was like, oh, don't underestimate those people.
Yeah.
I mean, and he lost his first season, I believe, and then came back and won his second season.
Is that correct?
I don't think so.
No, it was just his first season.
Okay, never mind.
Yeah.
So he won his first season.
Yeah.
Oh, God.
Okay.
He was the original.
banging on the pot. Did you get the inspo from him or did you even know that was a thing?
I know the bad girls club reference. Like the girl, I'm getting sleep up in here, y'all
and sleep. I remember that. But like also, I just had the tea party. So I was like, I'm going to grab
that damn teapot and see what happens. It's iconic. Like some people can make a big splash in a
short amount of time and you did, which is what the audience wants. Like we're finally,
finally having Big Brother being played right now with a couple little blindsides and the
power shifting.
I'm like, yes, finally.
And that's, I do love Devons and Dee for the reason that they are like, we're here to
shit up.
And they are.
And they are calling the shots, which is so wild.
And the fact that no one's coming onto them.
I mean, Taylor's starting to now.
Yeah.
But Dee's on top of it.
And she's like, we have to get Taylor out.
Like, that's the conversation right now.
Dee is so, you know, she's, I saw a live feed where she's like, you know, I'm just playing
dumb and these people are buying it.
And I really thought she was dumb in the beginning.
Really?
I watched your scenes.
survivor, no, she's not done. But in the house, I was like, you guys, she does not understand the
culture of Big Brother. We have to teach her. So I spent the first week, like, teaching her the culture
of Big Brother and she was like, I'm an idiot. And like, of course she knows what she's doing.
So I'm like, what a disadvantage for the rest of the house that she is so iconic and smart.
I mean, she's played before. That's the hard part, you know, and which even me coming in as a reality
TV icon, like, I mean, I don't have the same experience as Devon's DNA.
I did drag race. I had to pay money to participate. They haven't had to do that. Then they got to
actually play those mind games before. That is, I loved your gameplay. I like messy though.
But that's it. I feel like Big Brother viewers love messy gameplay because it is the entertainment.
Sure. It really is. And I like when those people go far because then everyone's like, well, we can get him out
later because he's such a big threat and he's so this that we can do it. Is that what you thought would
happen? Yeah. I mean, I didn't think I was going to be messy.
I mean, I know I'm a messy person.
Like, I always get myself in trouble.
Like, when I talk, I always put my foot in my mouth.
And so, like, I should have anticipated that.
But I thought I was going to go and play good.
Like, I thought I didn't know Drew, I didn't know there was an eight-person alliance
the first day that I wasn't a part of, right?
So, like, I thought I was setting up all my ducks in a row, but then I just kind of,
I set up too many ducks and, like, trusted too many ugly ducklings.
Yeah, you sure did.
That's okay.
You didn't know.
I mean, keeping a secret, like being on such a big,
reality show and what you've done in the past.
Did that get exhausting keeping that to yourself?
Or were you like, I'm happy to do it?
I was happy to do it.
It wasn't very exhausting.
I thought it was kind of fun, lying to everyone.
And when everyone would bring up drag race, like Drew was the one who was the biggest
drag race fan in the whole house, I would say, which is so funny.
Because of like, out of all people, it's Drew.
But none of them knew who I was.
So, like, I feel like that even made me feel a little like, well, no one knows who I am.
Like, how icon, a reality icon, am I?
So like, but also these people don't want, you know, they're from all walks of life.
Yeah.
In the U.S.
So like, yeah, not everyone watches drag race.
Sure.
What did lyric say when she found out?
Oh, apparently she's like, I knew he was famous or something.
Really?
Yeah.
Apparently she like, really, she had a feeling because I would tell stories.
I mean, I lived in Hollywood and I was 17.
Yeah, you get a lot of stories.
I have a lot of stories about working entertainment.
So they think they kind, she kind of, and she also works, you know, she's a singer.
Yes.
On top of being a lawyer?
What the heck?
I know.
So.
Crazy.
Yeah.
When you found that out, were you like, huh?
I was like, oh, of course she is.
Because she had this very big flip.
Like, she'd be like this sweet thing.
And then she would be like super fierce.
Yeah.
And the fierce part would come out.
Sometimes I'm like, that girl is someone else.
Like, I know she's, that's not.
That's more than what she gives off.
Was there anyone else in the house that you found out something about that you were shocked at?
Oh, Mallory, being a freaking like rocket scientist.
And of course, the blockbuster, she's this like aerodynamic blockbuster that she's going to freaking slay.
Yep.
Oh, my gosh.
That stressed me out for you.
Me too.
You were so close.
You know what, too?
I kept doing this in the game.
Like, I would hesitate a little bit.
And that one hesitation will cost you.
It cost me every time on Vito with Devons when I like hit that button right after him with Mallory.
She got that.
Like, I was hoping her tower would tumble, but it never did.
Yeah.
So when she would get a tape, I would grab mine and just go.
And I was like, oh, I could have grabbed it the whole time.
I know.
God, all the coulda woulda should us that must go through your brain after coming out of that show.
Constantly.
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah, it really is crazy.
if you played again
which I would love to play again
I just love when they do like an all-star season
or bring back like when they brought back
Rachel Riley last time
I cannot this was the season I tried to get
one of my friends to watch and I'm like
she's like somebody just got killed by a T-Rex
and fell into lava and she had a life jacket
and I was like ha ha ha that's a tough start
but that's the camp of Big Brother that I love
like I live for the campiness
people have to just go in accepting that
So if you were to play again, would you, well, I guess in hindsight, would you go in and just tell them the truth?
Or I guess, looking back, what I have told, maybe it would have gained me some traction, maybe even with the icons.
Because that's what Julie even said.
Like, why didn't you tell the icons?
Right.
Oh, I didn't think about that.
But I had already, like, you know, thought I had Angela in my pocket at that point.
So I was like, I mean, I don't know where to go from here.
But I feel like maybe it would have helped me in the long run.
And also, like, I don't think drag race being a drag race personality is, like, threatening in the game of Big Brother.
I agree.
I feel like maybe I should have said something now that I look back.
I think moving forward, if I get to play again, people will have this perception of me being this messy, chaotic person.
So I feel like either people would want to jump on board to work with me because they like that.
And or they would be weary of me because of how most emotionally messed me.
But that's such a good shield.
Yeah, that's what I would think, right?
I know.
for market days, which is like a big gay event.
Yes, my hairstyle was there.
Yeah, of course he is.
Yeah, I love him.
Walking through the streets, they're like constant, every kind of person, like old men and,
you know, straight men and then the women and the weirdos and my gay babies.
And it's like, it was just so insanely great.
And it's like they don't even want to just be like, oh my God, it's Jason.
They're like, they like want to hold and protect me.
Yeah.
That's what's been so like wild to me.
It's like they're there like, oh, it's Jason, but they're like, hey, are you okay?
Totally.
They went on an emotional roller coaster watching me.
Like all my friends did as well.
Like I came back and I was like, I'm going to the gym.
And my friends are like, what are you doing?
Going to the gym.
I need to like hold you and coddle you.
So that is great.
Do you know who Krischel Strauss is?
That sounds familiar.
She was selling sunset.
She was on my season of dancing with the stars.
She went to war for you online.
She is an angel.
And she boycotted watching the show after you left.
Oh, man.
See like that kind of stuff.
Like I don't even know what to say.
Like, it's just, you know, it's, I mean, y'all were watching a bigger picture play out.
And I was stuck in the fishbow of like, you know, the game.
Yeah.
And I had to play the game.
And I had to speak the game in the tea party with Kamu and stuff.
So it was about the game?
Right.
But was it about the game is what I learned after the fact?
And even there, I felt that.
But I wasn't allowed to necessarily comment on that.
Yeah.
We're playing a game.
True.
So to come out and hear that, I'm like, oh, cool.
I'm not crazy.
Yeah.
No, not at all.
And did you realize because I love, first of all, I usually, sorry to say this, hated the block, but or the, what did they do on Fridays?
The, oh, the unlocked?
The unlocked, BB unlocked.
I was usually like, this is such filler garbage, but I love Taylor and I love everyone that was hosting.
I just was like, what are we doing?
I love it this season.
It's, I feel like they're, they're found, they're still finding their way.
Like, I think it changes every week kind of like finding what it wants to be.
Yeah.
And, you know, this, it's been like nice to get new foot.
footage on there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And a chance for me, I was just on their last week.
Yeah, I was.
To get to like speak on certain things too.
That was like super awesome.
Yeah.
And you get to see stuff you've never seen before.
That was cool.
Yeah.
It's really cool.
And I love seeing like when they were behind the double-sided mirror.
Isn't that creepy?
I was like, oh my gosh, people could just walk by there.
And do you realize when you're in the house, when you're like doing the dishes,
that somebody could be right there?
I, I, I, hmm, I didn't know.
I mean, I see the mirrors and I know they're like two-way mirrors,
but I would imagine there's like steady cams or something.
That's what I thought.
I didn't know there would be a person like right next to the freaking mirror.
It's crazy.
The way I would be plucking chin hairs in those mirrors and then being like, oh,
someone's just like, ew.
Oh, and we are.
You know what I mean?
And we are.
It's gross.
Like popping zits like in the mirror.
Everyone's gross to some degree.
And on Big Brother,
you're going to see it because there's live feeds all the time and people watching 24-7.
Did you realize like, did you forget the cameras were on 24-7 on live feeds or were you very
aware?
I think, okay,
the live feeds.
idea didn't phase me too much. I never knew when the life feeds were on. I didn't know if,
you know, there's only four screens that show. So I never, there's so, there's so many people in the
house. I'm like, it's not going to be on me. And my friends were like, no, girl, it was on you.
I was like, I never felt that in the house. I always felt like it was, every time I try to give a shout
out, the camera would turn away. And I'd be like, well, it's not on me right now. So I never felt like
the life feeds were on me, but definitely felt the cameras in the room, 1,000%. Yeah, it's so
creepy. I just did a show where they had big brother cameras in the rooms. And I didn't know at first.
and I was talking shit.
Uh-oh.
And then I realized and I was like, oh.
They got me, gal.
Yeah, big.
And then I nerded out because I was like,
it's like, this is so fun.
I loved it so much.
Now you said you're,
and we all know,
because I see on social media
now that you and Frankie are such good friends.
Frankie Grande,
of course,
everybody knows that.
But my favorite was when Kamu was like,
Frankie,
tell your sister,
I said,
what's up?
And he was like,
absolutely the fuck not.
Oh my goodness.
The way he has no idea
about anything in the world is,
oh,
And the way that like, I don't know, it's, it's hard to watch Taylor, like, jump to his side now.
I know.
I'm like, Taylor, what the heck?
Because she's so smart too and you're like, no.
I mean, I mean, great for her.
Like, you know what I mean?
And like, to be honest, Cammy was playing like a very good game in his defense, like in the house.
He's handling business.
And like, Taylor, I don't know.
It's hard to watch because I'm like, oh, damn.
I love Taylor.
You know what I mean?
You just want to jump in and shake people.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I guess people want to shake me too.
Of course.
So I get it.
Yeah.
But we also wanted to rock you in our arms and hold.
you at the same time. There was that too. It's so crazy. I really can't imagine be, I mean,
yes, I can because I was isolated with no phones, but I can't imagine people watching 24-7 and then
not knowing if people love you or hate you. That's the wild thing. Like with Drag Race,
we film it a year in advance. So like All-Stars was airing while Big Brother got announced this summer
and my season of All-Stars, like, I filmed that last summer. So like, you have an entire year
to process and then kind of anticipate how the fans are going to react to you. They're not watching
you in real time.
And forming their own opinions and people online are crazy.
And if they're watching you all.
Well, I'm one of them and I am a passionate live feeder.
And so I see on TikTok people saying what you guys are seeing in an edited version on
the show is so different from the live feeds.
Did you feel that way?
I mean, I think they're, you know, I'm a big coming from drag race, it's all about
to edit.
Oh, my edit sucks or my edit bad.
I suck.
My edit made me look this way.
when you guys aren't only getting half the story with Big Brother,
you're getting the full story on live feeds.
But there's people who only watch the edited show.
A lot of people only watch the edited show.
Or they watch clips online or they just watch, you know, whatever's on TikTok.
So like, it's, you can consume Big Brother in so many different ways.
I think that's what's so fascinating about it.
But I live for the live feeders because they get the real story.
And like, there's more context to what you're seeing where like when I came out and I
heard that people hated me the first three episodes.
I said, oh, crap.
Where's the context?
Like, please someone put context to out.
out there, you know, but like you can't control people
are going to think whatever they want. My mom was mad at you.
I mean, a lot of the moms hated me, apparently,
which is so wild because the moms love me from drag race.
It's because of the moment with Angela, of course.
I still haven't, that mother thing, I just saw it unlocked.
Like, that was the first time I saw it.
Oh, yeah, of course.
I still haven't watched the episode.
It made you feel a little sick to your tummy when you saw Angela's reaction.
Yeah, totally.
But like, we weren't fake tears.
Like Drew had said that they were fake and I was putting on a show.
And I was like, it wasn't a show.
Like my feelings with Angela were super real.
My mom died of cancer.
Yeah, I'm so sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I come from like recovery.
So I've been sober for 14 and a half years.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
That's big.
It's crazy, but it's just my way of life, right?
Like, I'm just sober.
And what I learned, but in recovery and 12 steps is like I'm very vulnerable with like,
I'm very honest with my emotions.
And I think that's kind of a superpower of mine.
And I'm able to flip flop.
I can cry and the next second I can laugh and like fart.
Like it's like so easy.
I'm not recovery insane.
It's so easy for me.
So to utilize that in the game is just kind of who I am.
I thought, you know, I didn't know that would be my strategy of sorts, but I did see how
that was helping me in a way to get people on my side.
So weird gameplay, different gameplay, sure, but I'm very comfortable in my emotion.
So I can see how that can be off-putting or polarizing for people who maybe, you know,
what are you doing with that?
Right.
Sensitive topic.
Yes.
I hear what you're saying.
And I, well, first, I actually giggled because I was like, I just love a big brother.
moment, like a messy big brother moment.
So for you to cry and I did, I was like, I think those feelings were real.
1,000%.
But then the wink and you're like, got her because you, but you didn't.
I did.
I sure.
I mean, I think that's more embarrassing was the fact that I thought I had Angela, but girl,
she didn't have, I didn't have anything the whole time, you know, and she knew the
whole time.
I think even at that point, maybe, or me, I don't remember.
But like, yeah, that was, yeah.
Are you mad that Drew told her?
Yes.
The more think about it, the more I'm like, well, watching him now.
Yeah.
Like, he, you know, he's kind of formed this foul.
alliance with Barrett, Melody, and Mallory right now.
And he just went and told Devons about this alliance.
And like, he's throwing Mallory and Melody under the bus.
And I'm like, well, he's just telling what he's like, I'm getting very irritated with the super
fan in Barrett and Drew that they're just like kissing and sucking off D.
and Devons.
And it's like, I mean, great for Dean Devons, but I'm just like, you guys are just ratting
out everything to everyone.
I know it is.
That's messy in a different way.
So if you were to explain as a live feeder, you're watching the live feeds now, what, what
What is the difference right now between what we're seeing and what's actually happening in
live feeds?
Oh, interesting.
Oh, okay, like from being in the house.
From being in the house and now watching live feeds.
Like, what are the viewers just watching the edited version not seeing?
Oh, I mean, I think you're missing social dynamics between everyone.
Like, there's a, it's where we literally have nothing to do.
Like, we're laying around trying not to fall asleep the entire day.
And like, what I'm noticing is there's a lot more game strategy talking now from I feel like
when I was in there.
Like when I was in there, maybe people just weren't talking to me, but like, I felt like I was like, who's playing?
No, I feel like it's just starting to happen.
Right.
Like, I feel like everyone now is talking game where like when I was there, like Haley, Chuck and Common were talking game with like whoever they were talking with or D and Devons having side conversations.
But like melody, they weren't talking anything.
Everyone was just kind of getting to know each other still.
So that was like the weird thing for me was to see.
Like, now they're playing.
I'm like, I wish I was there so I can talk game too.
I don't want to be a Haley and add to the mean girl energy, but I don't, I'm not her biggest fan.
Haley's biggest fan.
Dog.
Yes.
Dog monster.
Yeah.
She's, she, it was really, like, I clocked her from the beginning.
You did?
I mean, it was hard because that first day before Life eats came on, she was the one to like kind of coddle me when I was having a little breakdown.
So it was cool.
But then I started to see her shift and then shift without me.
Yeah.
And then come back to me.
And I felt that that was strategic.
And then she used that against me.
And then the T, not the T party, the first nomination, egg fight.
I was like, Haley, everything they're saying is stuff I've said to you, girl.
Like, I've seen you.
And then she became my best friend the next week.
And I was like, and then I see her, you, I don't know.
She jumps to whoever has power, like is what I noticed.
She becomes friends with whoever has power.
Does she have a crush on Kamu?
Yes.
One time in the H-O-H room, when during Kamu's not, X-O-H, there was a baby photo of
Kamu, and she's like, this is what my babies are going to look like.
And I was like, but I thought you had a crush on Chuck.
Like, I'm so confused.
And then she had like been flirting with Rome as well when Rome was in the house.
So I never knew with her.
She is really.
I just, I just don't like how mean she is.
Yeah.
She's just mean.
She's in, yeah.
But what's crazy is how she thinks she's not.
Yeah.
That's what looks crazy.
And how hard she's had such a hard week.
Hard four weeks.
I'm like, yes, now you're on the block.
Yeah.
Now you will know what a hard week is.
And she's kind of MIA, I feel.
I'm like she's just kind of sitting around and like flying under the radar now.
I know.
I'm like very not like her.
Well, I think because she was like,
wait,
Yeah, yeah, totally.
I love it.
Sucker.
I love it so much.
Face crack.
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh.
It's so good.
I don't know what happened.
I guess it's age, but all of a sudden, everyone in my life has either had babies or on their
second baby.
There's just a lot of babies.
So between baby showers, sprinkles, trying to figure out what to buy, I've become weirdly
invested in baby registries.
And let me tell you, there's one thing I see on every single registry.
And one thing my friends who are parents will not stop talking about.
that is Nanit. Now, I swear I'll get text saying the baby finally slept through the night,
followed immediately by a screenshot from the Nanit app, which I love. Every time I see a screenshot
from that, I'm like, send me more. They're obsessed. I'm obsessed. Honestly, I get it. The Nanette
smart baby monitor system gives you crystal clear HD video, breathing motion monitoring, sleep tracking,
real-time safety alerts, and personalized sleep insights all in one seamless system. It's basically
like the smart watch or like smart ring, so many of us wear, except it's tracking your baby.
sleep instead. I love it. And the picture quality is really unreal. You know how ultrasound
picture is like they're kind of grainy and everyone pretends they know what they're looking at.
But Nanit is the complete opposite. It's so crystal clear that you can literally see spit up
on a baby's one-see and then watch their little eyes flutter while they're sleeping. Adorable.
Now my favorite part of seeing my friends actually enjoy a night out because they can check the
app, see everything's okay. And then get right back to being present and I love it.
It gives them that little peace of mind. So you can learn more about Nanit on their website.
at nanit.com, that's n-a-n-n-ti-t.com, because they have so many really cool features, and it would
take me an hour to talk about it here, to be honest, but if you're expecting, Nana is definitely
the number one thing that you're going to want to add to your baby registry. And if you know
someone who is expecting, trust me, you're going to be their new bestie when you get them
a nanit. So do yourself or someone you love a favor and check out Nanit at nanot.com.
You won't regret it. All right, you know, it's kind of funny. We spend so much money trying to make
life easier. We have robot vacuums, meal delivery, smart water bottles, but I don't know who needs
to hear this. You don't have to spend your period worrying about leaks anymore. It took me far too long to
discover this, but seriously, one of the best little upgrades I've made is switching to Nix leakproof underwear.
They actually do what they promise, and then once you try them, it's really hard to imagine going back.
That's how I feel. They look, they feel, they wash just like normal underwear, but depending on
the style, they absorb anywhere from your lightest days all the way up to get a load of
this six super tampons worth. So whether you're sleeping, traveling, just outrunning around the next day,
you can stop stressing about leaks and just get on with your life. And Nick says done it again with their
new super leakproof mini dream boxer. Oh, they're so good. I love these because they're mini but mighty.
That's what I keep saying. They come in really cute prints. They have pretty lace detailing. And
this one absorbs up to eight super tampons, which by the way, tampons make my cramps worse. So this is helping
that too. Head to nix.com. That's k-n-I-X.com and you'll see why I love Knicks. Don't forget to use
code Vine 15 for 15% off your order. Grab some leakproof underwear, their amazing bras, and definitely
check out the new super leakproof mini dream boxer. Again, that's K-N-I-X.com and use code Vine 15.
Was there a moment that you knew I'm probably going home?
There was a little bit of hope leading up to eviction night my week, but
The minute that Taylor told me that she cannot vote out La La La La, I was like, I don't have the votes then, like, if Taylor doesn't do that.
Did you scream when Lala won head of household the other night?
So I was watching the live feeds and I was proud of her.
But when I watched the episode, I like started crying.
I cried.
I cried.
I was so proud.
And I was like, I was like transported back to being with her.
And like she was like my, you know, she was my mother in the house.
Yeah.
She really was.
And that was also like another thing.
It was like this Angela Lala mother thing.
And I like, Lala was my mom in the house.
So I felt so proud of her.
We needed that power shift.
I mean, the minute she won, though, too, I was like, okay, Taylor has an actuation now because Taylor's running her game.
Which Taylor said to.
And she's asking her, she's like, what do I do?
And Taylor's like, okay, you got to do this.
And that's why I'm like, oh, no, I want her to make her decisions.
But I know that Taylor is trying to help her.
Taylor's handling business, though.
She really is.
I loved Taylor's win, too, on the veto competition.
I love that.
Are you so sad to miss out on some of these comps?
It's so hard.
I wanted to play ball comp so bad.
I want to play Otev.
Like I wanted to play.
Otev is my dream.
I just want to like go in.
I just want maybe I'll just make an Otev in my backyard one day.
Okay, make my own wallcom.
Yeah, and then we'll do it.
I'll just like get all the people who are sent home too early to play and we'll get together.
Let's go.
Let's do it.
I would.
Okay, there's players who play quietly.
There's players who everyone talks about.
I feel like you're someone that again, you were there three weeks, but everyone's going to talk about you.
Would you rather leave early making great television or make final three playing
quietly.
Playing quietly as in like a Barrett?
Yes.
I don't feel like that fares very well for people.
So I guess make a splash is good, but I wanted to go far.
Like I want to at least make jury.
That was my dream.
I know.
Of course.
Every day I kind of like become a little like I'm not a sore loser, but I'm competitive
and I don't like losing.
Yeah.
So that's been hard for me to deal with since being out of the house because I'm like, I want
win.
I know.
I was broke.
Like, I want to be.
I want to stay.
I'm a drag queen.
Drag queens don't make money.
I know.
If you're RuPaul or Trixie, sure you make money.
But I'm like, I want the money.
We've got to get you some brand deals.
I think it's time for some good brand deals.
It's time for you.
You've lived with these people 24-7.
Who right now do you think is getting the best edit?
D.
Hello.
I mean, that was something I've, you know, I come from reality TV.
I come from Drag Race.
Yeah, you know edits.
I've been in productions many, many, many years for all my entire life.
So I was very confident.
just to be like, oh, I see where the cameras are pointing at.
I see who's disappearing a long time.
So that was very obvious for me.
Yeah.
Do you think other people see that?
I don't think these kids did.
And I would try to like, yeah, I'm not, yeah, you're not supposed to use production of
strategy.
So I learned that lesson.
But I was trying to figure out a way to frame it for the kids.
I'm like, don't you want to be a star?
Like, this is your moment.
This is your show.
Look who, you know, who show it is right now?
It's the Devons and D show.
Absolutely.
So we've got to get them out.
It absolutely.
That's so funny.
when they're like for example when Mallory went into Mallory's the rocket scientist yes when she went
into the BB time capsule can people hear her scream when she goes in there no or is it soundproof
room I think it's completely soundproof in DR like DR is like the safest place you can be in the
world I felt the most safe in there to be honest yeah because I was like don't scream I was like what if
they hear you no they can okay okay who do you think is getting a bad at it oh um
I guess I got a villain at it
like my first couple episodes
I don't know bad edit
I mean some people aren't in the edit at all
like we just heard from Chuck last episode
I know I was like who Chuck
who is that?
Dude I can't stand that guy
he's yeah there's a man baby
he's like a man child
like it's very interesting
like a conversation with him is so interesting
he'll just be like
yeah yeah
say something to me
say anything to me say anything to me say anything
you like to watch Big Brother
Big Brother yeah I like to watch
Bro, like, that is every conversation with Chuck.
I'm like, I don't know how.
I don't understand.
I don't understand.
Oh my gosh.
Him thinking he's got Camus figured out right now too.
I don't understand.
He has Intel.
That's what he keeps saying.
I have Intel.
I have all Intel.
I'm like, okay, okay, dude.
It's too much.
I just can't.
I love the shift right now that's happening and that those three are like in trouble.
Yeah.
It's so good.
Who's way funnier than America got to see?
Oh, I mean, Drew is hilarious, to be honest.
Drew's like.
He's one of my favorite.
He could be a Disney star.
Like, I can see him, like, killing it.
Like, to be honest, yeah.
Do you think there's real romantic things between him and melody?
Okay, so it was always a joke in the house.
Yeah.
And, like, Melody was like, loves for the bit.
Yeah.
She was playing along, but she's like, he's too young.
But I feel like the more emotional that she gets and the more he jumps to her rescue,
she kind of like leans in a little.
So I don't know.
I feel like low key there is a little bit of something.
Yeah.
But I think it's a, is it Munchauser syndrome?
Or like just like being alone in there.
No, I get that.
You might as well.
I feel like it's just giving.
All right.
Yeah, yeah.
On board.
Yeah.
very that. That's so true. They are cute though. Um, when he cried because she cried.
Oh, that was really sweet. That was very sweet. That was sweet. D is running the house. But who's
secretly running the house that viewers weren't and aren't paying attention to?
Ooh. Um, I mean, I think it's like being in the house, I wouldn't have known D was running
the house. I had a feeling, but I feel like other people wouldn't imagine D was. Yeah. And then in the
edit, you see that D's controlling everything. Um, but in the house now, I feel like Taylor is kind of like
leading the charge on the other end, which is fun.
Yeah.
Which is interesting to see how she's really in Kamu, who was like a part of the other side.
Right.
Because she was kind of part of the crew where I was like, oh, they are not showing her at all.
And now she's like, I think she's being very strategic.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She's been in bed the first three weeks.
Yeah.
Whose social game is impressing you?
I think D's, to be honest.
Again, she played dumb the first couple weeks and like just became like I told Taylor,
oh my God, like week one, I was talking to Taylor and La La.
And I was like, Dee's a millionaire.
She does not need to be here.
You guys, she's won these games before.
We had got there.
And Taylor was like, no, no, please.
I love Dee.
I love her so much.
And I was like, come on.
Like what?
She's like, no, no, no.
She's like, she's like kind of the kind of girl I would hang out with in Miami.
I was like, well, yeah, she's from Miami and I get that.
But we're in a game here.
That's her social game.
Like, she convinced me to like be good with Dee.
Do you think they're going to get her out?
I mean, the thing about Dee is that she's not good at puzzles.
And each blockbuster is a puzzle.
So I kept saying if we get D as a renom, like she will not win a blockbuster and you can vote her out.
So I just think they need to get her on the block.
Yeah.
And they have a chance to get her out for sure.
Who is impossible to read?
Hmm.
Barrett, I think, because he wouldn't like share anything.
But he's so cuddly and he's like always just there.
So it was hard to see where he was like aligned.
Yeah.
I can see that.
Okay.
You've had your phone back.
You've watched everything, I'm assuming.
You watch everything back?
Not every edited episode.
Really?
I watched up to Unlocked episode one.
Oh, my gosh.
Or maybe the third episode, actually.
Yeah, I was called up to the third.
I would go back and, like, study everything and watch everything.
Because I know that episode four is kind of like the Angela thing with me, I was kind of avoiding it.
Yeah, that's fair.
Do you think you and Angela will be friends outside of the house?
I think so.
Yeah.
Even in the house, like, she would smile at me.
And then I'd be like, girl, please.
but also we like we get each other.
She cracks me up.
I love seeing her riled up and emotional.
It's just so funny.
It's hilarious.
When she was in the diary room the other day,
or no,
not the diary room when she was voting
and she was like,
I'm playing to the wheels fall off Julie.
I'm like,
you freak, I love you.
She loves it so much.
She's such a fan.
It's so delicious to watch.
It is.
And her during the wall comp,
she's like, I'm here to wait.
And then she was like,
out my knee.
Those psychics edits are always my favorite.
I know. When they start talking, I'm like, oh, no.
She's going to fall. Yeah, 1,000%.
I mean, I just saw this video the other day of the lie feed when I was in the house with Angela.
And she's, like, mad because she's like, Jason knows how to cook rice.
Have you seen this video?
She's like talking to Haley.
Like, she thinks that she caught me in some big lie or something.
And like the premise is I cook rice, like, at home.
And I don't, I don't know.
It was just hilarious.
She was so mad about it.
Just overthinking to everything.
Yeah, exactly.
Paranoid as hell.
I love it.
It's so funny to watch.
I'm obsessed with it.
If you were still in there, who'd you target next?
I mean, I was always coming for the icon.
Yeah, yeah.
That's what they have to do.
I mean, as a fan of the show, you watch and you're like, you have to get the icon out.
Otherwise, they just go to the end and everyone's like, how are they still here?
Yeah.
That's what's happening right now.
Yeah.
Do you think the majority alliance has gotten too comfortable?
I mean, it's not comfortable now that always in hours.
That's fun.
And it's interesting, too, to watch D and Devin's trying to like, they're bored.
So they're implementing things.
And now they're backtracking.
So it's interesting to watch that, too.
Yeah, that's so true.
Who do you think, I feel like D's the answer to all these questions, but besides D, who has the best jury management so far?
Ooh.
Jury management so far.
I mean, I think, I don't know.
Is it like a Camu or Lala?
Not Camu then.
No.
I don't know.
Maybe Lala.
That's what I'm thinking.
Like everyone that kind of loves Lola.
I mean, apparently people don't love Lala is what.
Really?
That's what I was interested to learn.
Like in the house, I was like, oh, everyone loves Lala.
but apparently Devin's didn't like her. Drew doesn't like her. Mallory apparently doesn't like her
like up until before this situation. There a lot of it had to do with like she's always hogging the
kitchen. She's always cooking too much. Oh. But like if she wasn't cooking, no one would be eating.
Yeah. So I don't know. It was just a weird, I think a personality thing. Interesting. Who do you
think is playing for second place right now? Oh, lokey devons. Yeah. A little bit. I, I saw a tweet that
said like if Dee wasn't in the house, I don't know how Devons would play because.
Dee's kind of just telling him what to do.
Yeah.
Like, okay, playing along.
Which is crazy.
I didn't see that coming, but I'm noticing that as well.
Yeah, she's kind of like running the ship for sure.
What is the funniest DM you've gotten since coming out?
Oh.
Oh, yesterday.
Yeah.
This girl got a tattoo, like, based off my egg fight.
When Angela drops her hat and I go, pick up your hat diva,
she got like, pick up your hat diva and an egg tattooed on her leg.
Stop it.
Isn't that crazy?
That's crazy.
Pick up your hat diva.
Like, I would have thought.
Tell me this wasn't her first tattoo.
Is she like covered?
I don't think so.
I mean, I don't think, I didn't see a lot of tattoos, but like.
Oh my gosh.
I'm like work.
That work indeed.
That is hilarious.
It's so cool.
Shout out to you.
Also, doesn't Rihanna watch?
Does she?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure she watches Big Brother.
Big Big Brother fan.
Yeah.
Is that why?
Oh, some people were shouting her out in the like in the house too.
No, my, I was geeking out last season when, um, who's the girl that just hosted the
cocktail poison drink competition. Morgan and Vince and Ashley who won. They were talking about
off the vine and they were like, I heard Caitlin Bristow from Off the Vine interviews people from
Big Brother and I was like, come on my show. And they're like, imagine we got to go on and I was like,
did you have them? Yeah. Oh, fabulous. Not Vince yet because he was, I think he was going through it after.
I heard he was. Yeah. And I think now it's changed a bit because obviously people get over it all so fast.
It's also so, yeah, totally.
Like, it's interesting, too, if you're not in entertainment,
like how long, it's interesting, too, to watch, like,
past house guests, like, hungry for clout and influence.
And, like, it's very, I don't say it's cringe because, like,
do your thing, diva, but it's a little, it's a little, like, I can tell.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
That's the hunger, the hunger is interested.
Oh, yeah.
It's, it's funny to watch.
I think Vince now is like, oh, actually, I shouldn't say, I think.
He told me that the Big Brother fans are like, oh, we're a little too hard on you.
I'm sorry.
And he's like, kind of a lot.
I'm like, I told you.
They're coming around.
They're coming around.
Have any former Big Brother Legends reached out to you?
So many, so many that I haven't even got to answer their DMs yet.
Like, it's really wild.
And then I'm even learning that some of them were talking a lot of shit about me and then switched up when the tea party happened.
So that's been really interesting to look at too.
But so many, like Rubina, Izzy, Taylor Hill.
Yeah.
They've been so awesome.
Yeah.
Morgan's reached out to me too.
Really?
Oh, that's awesome.
Okay, so you wanted to play Survivor originally.
Are you like undercover?
Like, you can just like chill in the woods and hunt for shit and like swim?
I don't know why that's what I think Survivor is.
Honestly, I think I could handle it.
You do?
Yes.
Like if Devons and Dee could handle it, I can totally handle it.
Fair enough.
I don't think I could.
But if these three show asks you tomorrow, come on, what would you choose?
Survivor, Traders are amazing race.
I mean, I think Traders is probably the most comfortable.
So Traders would be fun
But I think maybe Survivor would be like the checkbox of my dreams
Yeah, I want to do Traders so bad
They do, they put Big Brother people on
They do, yeah, totally
I want behind the scenes rapid fire questions
So I can just get this for myself
What is way different in the Big Brother House than you expected?
What is way different?
The comps, every episode has comps
In the Big Brother House, like day to day
there's like a comp every other couple days.
So it's a lot of waiting around.
Like when's the next comp?
And the comps go by really fast sometimes.
So it's like...
Are they like late at night early in the morning?
Depends?
Are they different?
They're usually in the afternoon.
Yeah.
For the most part.
Okay.
What's the weirdest rule?
Viewers probably doesn't...
The viewers don't know exists.
No napping.
Like we're not allowed to nap.
And you would think we could just like take a nap somewhere
but no, we're not allowed to nap.
Why can't you nap?
Well, we have to make TV.
I guess so.
They want us talking, you know.
That's true.
Totally.
But then I feel like I've seen past seasons where some people all they do is nap.
It looks like it, but you have to pretend or like what I would do is like like, like, like,
like, like, like, just do like this for a while.
Make sure your foot's tapping.
Yeah, yeah, just to make it look like I'm awake.
That's so funny.
You know what I'd be so upset about is my wordal streak would be so dead.
Oh, done.
Yeah.
Duolingo.
Doleingo.
Goodbye.
Yeah.
I don't know.
My aura ring wouldn't be catching my sleep scores.
Oh.
What time do you actually?
go to bed and wake up?
At 10 p.m.
we're allowed to go to bed.
But sometimes you don't want to miss out on conversations.
And sometimes you get called to DR.
So it kind of depends.
And the lights don't go out until everyone's in their beds.
That's another hard part.
Oh, so you know people are up chatting if the lights are on?
Yeah, for the most part.
And it depends on which room you're in.
So like if you're in the pod room, if everyone's in their pods,
those lights will go out in there, but not in the other two rooms.
So like depending where your room is.
Interesting.
The pods were hard too because there's a light inside of the bunk bed.
Yeah.
So that was like brightest crap.
Gosh.
That's, I would go, that's where I would lose my mind is sleep deprived.
Lala was really not happy about that part.
Gosh.
How often does production talk to you over the speakers?
Like in the house?
Yeah.
Not very often.
Really?
Mostly if you're napping.
Like stop, no napping.
Or singing.
Yeah, no singing, no napping.
Yeah.
No quoting.
Any copyright, you know, production stuff.
Yeah.
What is the funniest thing production yelled at you for?
yelled at me personally well I had my own
voice thing because I have tattoos
that are copyrighted characters
and they have breasts because they're in drag
so like SpongeBob and Patrick with breasts
so they're explicit and they're copywritten
so I had one that said please cover your tattoos
oh interesting what did you have to cover them with
I had special effects makeup so I would cover myself
like every Thursday and it would last pretty long
but I would have like sleeves or like little compression sleeves
too to cover them up that's great
crazy. Can you actually whisper without production hearing you? No, they always hear. They hear you, right?
I used to do that on Bachelor. I'd do this. Oh, and drag race. We would cover our mics and like speak.
But they still hear you. Not on drag race. Really? Yeah, we can cover them. They'll tell us to stop, but
you can sneak something out. This is my question. I just asked you like 30. This is my question.
when you're in the diary room,
is production like swaying you a certain way
or bringing up things that you don't necessarily know
or are they really just letting you have your experience?
For the most part, they're letting us have our experience,
but they'll ask a question about something
that I thought was so irrelevant in the house.
And then you're like, oh, shit.
Being someone who's been on reality TV,
I'm like, is this a storyline?
Is this a plot?
Yeah.
Is this for the edit?
Is this going to make the edit?
Let me go delve into that a little more.
So like for me, I thought my relationship
with like Barrett and Dee, we'd always cuddle all three of us.
And me and Dee had this like little feud about who Barrett loves the most.
And I thought that was just like a cute thing between us.
And then one time they asked about this flirt manse.
And I was like, is this a thing?
Let me lean into it, I guess.
So I started leaning into it only to realize Dee was just playing me the whole time, you know.
That's crazy.
But you can probably tell when producers think a storyline is juicy.
Maybe.
Yeah, totally.
I have no idea.
Because also I have no idea what's being shown.
Okay, that's true.
What food do you become weirdly upset?
within there.
Oh, we have a lot to eat.
I've never had that much food in my fridge ever.
So it's so nice to be fed and not have to worry about groceries.
What was I eating a lot?
I was trying to be healthy.
I was trying to really, I was like really working out.
Rome was like really transforming my body.
Like I was working out every day.
I was eating very clean.
But okay, I think the most amazing thing was like the ginger tumor shots.
Like those are so expensive when I buy them in the real world.
They are expensive.
But we, I take them.
every morning they always restock them.
Oh, that's great.
That was the greatest thing.
I do love that.
Who actually did the most cleaning?
Lala and Taylor, for sure.
They were the only ones cleaning.
Really?
Yeah.
Oh, is the bathroom as gnarly as I think it is.
Disgusting.
And, like, I always watch the show.
Like, why do people hang out in the bathroom?
That's so gross.
But that sofa's comfortable.
It is.
And I guess it's like a good meaning spot to see, like, who's walking through.
And, like, you can kind of tell, like, it's a nice little private area.
This is how you know, I'm a live feeder.
When Yash brushes his teeth, I want to throw.
up. What is he doing? He brushes his tongue like 80 times and his tongue goes down to like here and he gets
right to the back and he's just like, it goes ham on it. The way that you know, this is so funny.
It's so crazy. Yeah, that's wild. I would be so scared to you like when I was flossing. I'm like,
I don't want anything to hit the mirror like when I'm at home. It's so gross. So we walk,
we walk away from the mirror and that can't be good either to first hang out on here. Is it crazy that
everyone could just walk in on you in the shower too? Yeah, the shower actually is the most private.
I feel like air, like, the more me time I get by myself.
Like, I don't even feel like the camera is like too invasive in there.
There's a camera in the bathroom.
Yeah, I heard that.
You never see that.
Right.
Just in case of an emergency.
Sure, just for emergencies.
I remember Victoria on season 16, Frankie's season.
Like, she passed out in there or something.
Yes.
So, yeah.
But the bathroom is in the shower, I think, in the most private areas you have in the house.
Oh, gosh.

how long after a competition ends is it before we as viewers see what happens I think it's pretty
quick it is I mean as soon as we back in the house as I'm watching now I'm like the life
feeds kind of turn right on is Julie Chen as iconic as I think she has
Honestly, I didn't realize how iconic she was until she, like, I was sitting face to face with her.
I was like, wait, this is a bigger deal than I'm making it right now.
Yes, I just love her.
What is the first thing that you want when you are finally out of the house?
For me, I wanted sushi.
Like, I went to sugarfish, like, right away.
It was my first destination.
That's what I do as soon as when I didn't live in New York.
That was my first stop in New York.
I was like, give me sugarfish.
That in L.A.
What's one edit slash storyline from your season where you're like, that is actually not how it happened?
I guess the like
I mean honestly the Angela mom thing
that was more like the smile to camera
was a nod to my drag race experience on All-Stars
like everyone who watched drag race
I went viral for smiling at camera
after crying in this girl's face
so that was more of a nod to that
more than anything for my fans who were watching
my mom will love to hear that
yeah that's like honestly what it was
like it was no it was no shade to Angela truly
it was more like you guys didn't play big brother
oh my god yeah yeah it was I was excited
and like I thought I was being a big brother player like I don't know she cried I was like Jason I know I saw that and I was like oh god yikes that was not good that's fair what's something viewers constantly criticize houseguests for that now you understand ooh what do you have a criticism that I could I hate the shoutouts oh during the live episode I mean okay but except for Josh saying shout out to to pollie to pollies my life I hope he gets that brand deal
He has to.
I don't think they're being clever enough
with their shout-outs.
I mean, that is what you're supposed to do.
You know what I mean?
Like, that's why I shouted out Ryan Murphy.
I was like, I want to be on a Ryan Murphy show.
Hello, Ryan Murphy cast me.
Yeah, that was funny.
No, that I like, Josh's, that one was funny.
But it's like, when they go in, they're like, hey, Julie,
what's up?
What's pop?
And you look gorgeous.
And they're like, I sadly vote to effect lyric.
What out family?
Shout out.
I'm like, what the hell just happened?
It's so crazy, the flip-flop of it all.
It's hilarious because I'm like,
What just happened?
And they're rehearsing their shoutouts
like in the house too.
They're like,
did I get it in in time?
Like, it's super cute.
But I mean, I guess it's the one moment
where you for sure know.
I did it.
It just drives me nuts.
And what, but if I was to go in,
I shout out all day long.
1000%.
Yeah.
I would be like,
what would I want to shout out?
Sugarfish.
Oh my God.
Shout out, sugarfish, my life.
My next shout out was going to be
Beyonce, drop back three.
Like, Mother, we need you.
Mother.
You would be surprised how many people celebrities watch Big Brother.
I still don't know, and I already know that I'm already nervous about that.
No, it's crazy.
I want to do Big Brother superlatives.
Okay.
So you can only pick one.
Okay.
Most likely to win this season of Big Brother.
You know what?
If they don't get her out, Taylor.
Yeah.
Okay.
Most underrated strategists.
Hmm.
Underrated strategist.
God, I'm like, who's even in the house?
You know what?
Oh, God.
I mean, I think Camus really on to like what's happening, to be honest.
I think so, too.
Okay, best liar.
Best liar is D.
Worst liar.
Ooh.
Drew.
He was so bad in that.
Drew, sure, yeah.
I feel like he's so transparent.
Sorry, I just answered for you.
Most likely to accidentally expose an alliance.
Drew.
I mean, no, that's not an accident.
He does it on purpose.
I feel like melody maybe.
Yeah.
Most likely to become a BB legend.
I mean, I think Angela's legendary just for who she is, not necessarily for her gameplay.
Yeah, yeah, it's true.
Most misunderstood.
Oh.
I don't know.
You can say you.
I was thinking that maybe.
I think for sure.
I was thinking you.
Who would you trust with your life?
I'm gonna cry, Rome.
Really?
Oh, no, I love that.
It's so corny.
I hate that I cry.
First of all, it's my favorite.
I cry all the time on, I just cried on a podcast like two days ago.
Weird.
No, it's not weird.
I don't know.
Like, it's so weird.
Like, I trusted him more than I trusted my own friends at a home, like being in that house.
You know what?
It's so weird.
I don't think it's weird.
You know what sweet is I was expecting, and this is on me.
I was expecting people.
come out with shit stories on Rome Online.
Oh.
And I've heard people come forward saying he's such a good person and he cares about his community.
He's a little sweetheart.
He's such a little sweet.
He's just a little sweet man.
You know what I mean?
Like he's not a super game strategist.
He's not this conniving anything.
He's just like a sweet boy.
He's also like a mama's boy, you know?
Yeah.
He's a gentleman.
So are you rooting for him in Lyric?
I am.
I really am.
Like I was, I felt a little weird.
I was hoping people weren't going to think it was weird that I created the love
triangle.
But I was like, I hate it.
that showmances get targeted.
And I was like, you guys are so sweet together
and it's so clear there's a connection.
I was like, I want to encourage this.
That wasn't good for anyone's game,
especially not lyrics.
Unfortunately, I realized that after the fact.
Because in my mind, I was like,
why do people care so much about showmances?
Like, let them live.
I know.
So I was kind of like encouraging and instigating it all.
And like, I'm rooting for them.
Yeah, I am too.
But I'm just, I love how Rome means that much to you.
I think that's really,
I like hearing this stuff because, again,
I, and I'll say it, I'm, I am quick to judge and I shouldn't because.
Well, he gives douchebag, right?
He gives douchebag.
And he's not and I love that.
He gives frat boy douchebag, like, not the kind of guy to ever want to, like,
fucking be next to you.
I want to, like, taste him, but, like, never, never, like, have a relationship with him.
But I think that was part of it.
Like, the fact that he, like, and he trusted me and, like, was there for me and, like,
was training me.
You guys did have a cute little bond.
It was, it was actually very, very sweet.
And, like, still to this day, like, when we, like, when we literally, when
Lyric was still in the house, he would, like, call me crying.
Oh, sweet.
You know, and he's very scared to be emotional.
Like, he's very bro in that way.
And, like, I encourage him to be emotional.
Totally.
And we did that in the house.
And even through text, like, after the fact, I'm like, girl, like, cry.
Like, let it out.
Like, that's what's going to make you stand out even more lyric.
You know what I mean?
Like, just be, like, be emotional.
Because I feel like lyric is in tune with her emotions.
Oh, yeah.
What do you?
I saw on TikTok, it was going around because she released their first text message with each other after.
I can even read that all.
It was too much.
It was a novel.
It was a scroll, but he FaceTimes with her mom every day before she came off the show and people
thought that was crazy.
What do you think?
Oh, I was in the group chat with Lyric's mom and Lyric's best friend and Rome.
And we would just chat about what's going on if Lyric was going through it.
We'd even be honest.
We'd be like, lyrics doing too much.
Like, she needs to freaking stop talking.
Like, you know.
But her mom is amazing.
Her best friend is amazing.
Shout out to them.
And yeah, we were in a group chat already.
It was cute.
That's so sweet.
I love that.
The group chat.
Rome already got the blessing from the family before Lerick got out the house.
Yeah.
That's so sweet.
Okay, who would you never want to play Big Brother with again?
Devons.
Wait, why?
I am just not a fan of his.
Really?
The reason, again, I loved Rome was he actually came and became, like, he tried to be my friend.
Where none of the other straight bros or guys, other guys, they're all straight.
None of them did.
And Devin's, like, his whole thing was like getting in with all the boys.
He was the cool dad, but he never once, like, talk to me, like, ever.
And it's not that I was, like, jealous.
I was just like, it's very clear that you don't vibe with me.
And so like, F you know what I mean?
So that's why also you're an icon.
Let me get you out too.
I'm going to target you.
Totally.
But also I think Drew told him I was targeting him from the get-go.
So that's probably part of it too, to be honest.
That's true.
That's true.
Yeah.
Besides you, who deserves America's favorite player?
You're mine.
You know what?
It's going to be so weird.
I don't know.
Because like, does America vote for their best game strategist game
or do they just vote for the person as a person?
You know what I mean?
I think America always votes for the person.
Person, right?
So, like, that's what's interesting to me
because right now we're getting to learn more about their people more,
and we're seeing more people now.
Like, if in the house, I would have thought, la-la,
but I come out the house and people are, like, not really living with her as much.
Yeah, interesting.
You know, so, and then I love melody in the house,
not her game at all.
Like, there's no game.
But Melody is a person.
I live.
And I feel like people loving how blunt she is and her DRs.
It's her D-Rs.
are hilarious. So like, I don't know, for that reason, though, I don't know. So I have no idea.
Yeah, that's fair. I don't know either. I'm going to ask you a few questions from listeners.
Oh, how fun. Yes. How listeners. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I forgot we're on camera.
You see, I was just so used to cameras on me. It's very, like, very normal.
I forget about these things all the time. Someone wants to know what is your least favorite part about
Big Brother? Um, being in the house, like playing the game. Yeah. I think not knowing.
I mean, I didn't know that first aid alliance got made the first day.
So not knowing, knowing, but not having confirmation and then not having anyone talk game with you.
I think that's the part that I hate the most in regards to the game.
Like, no one talking game with you sucks.
I was like, I just wanted to play.
And like no one wanted to play with me.
Were you ever have not?
Yes.
And was the slop just terrible?
Honestly, I feel like I made like slop rice crispy treats.
And then Mallory the next week started making slop like cookies and muffins.
And those muffins that we made in the house were delicious.
Really?
Have not wasn't that hard to be honest.
And are you actually taking cold showers?
Yes.
How did they,
did they come in and test to make sure you're having cold?
Oh,
well,
a little hack that we were doing is we take showers outside during the day because it was hot outside.
And then one time they were like,
Hey, Lyric, is that shower cold?
And everyone had to go check to make sure it was cold for her.
And it was cold.
But yeah,
the cold showers weren't that bad.
Oh.
Someone wants to know what your biggest regret in the game was.
Being outside of the house and seeing,
the reception, like I wouldn't have played Angela.
Like, I wouldn't have smiled to camera, like honestly.
Like, I probably would have maybe teamed up with Angela harder.
You know what I mean?
I think, I think, I think I would have taken her more seriously as an ally as opposed to, like,
just this thing that I thought I had or she had in her pocket.
Well, it's nice to know the context that it was a nod to.
Yeah.
1,000% was.
That does help.
It totally was.
How did you meet Frankie Grande?
Oh my God.
He judged a drag show.
when I was a baby drag queen, my first competition.
It was like week six of this big long competition.
And he was the judge and I won that night.
And then two days later, I was at one of my 12-step meetings and he was in the back.
And he was like, I have two seconds of sobriety.
I don't know what I'm doing.
I was like, oh, come with me.
And like, these are my friends.
Sweet.
And we've been best friends ever since.
And sober sisters ever since.
Oh, I love that.
That's so nice.
Who will be your best friend when the season wraps?
Rome.
Yeah.
Rome is my best.
That's so nice.
Someone said, do you regret banging the kettle and doing that to the house?
No, good.
I was very, I'll be honest, I was a little nervous because I was like, I was like, F this.
I'm going to do this.
Yeah.
Like you, Kamu, like all this.
Everyone in here too who just let me like get attacked by Kamu and had nothing to say.
I was like, except Lala.
Like she was standing up for me a little bit.
So I was like, you know what, F everyone.
I don't care. I'm going to wake everyone up. If I'm going to go home, I'm going to read on and go home because no one's going to speak up. I'm going to wake it up.
Yeah. But then the next morning when I started doing the stuff, people were getting very nervous around me. And I'm not a threatening. I don't think I'm a threatening scary person. So when I felt people start to be a little scared. I'm not going to hit nobody. But I think people started to realize that like it was funny. And Angela started laughing at like, she was, I remember I was in the loft and she was down the stairs and she was looking at me because I was just sitting there with my pot. And she smiled. And I was like, and she was like, and she was like. And she was.
like, so like, oh, everyone's in. She loves the shit disturbing. So I leaned into it even more.
And then I feel like everyone's kind of into it, but Haley was very irritated. So I didn't mind
her being irritated. And not Haley being irritated and then blaming Taylor, like you, you guilty
by association, you laughed when he was banging the pots and pads. So did Angela. So did everyone else
was sitting at there.
First one to laugh. I was like, but again, she's, Haley's a mean girl. Like, she's a mean girl.
Stop. I want to keep talking. What, is there anything that we didn't touch on that you were like,
we need to talk about this. Oh my goodness. I mean, do you have any questions about it? I mean,
I feel like you need to play, Big Brother. Like, would you play? Would you do it? This is what all the
brother people tell me. Yeah, I would do it. It's, I think you'd be so fun. I would do it. And you're
hot. Like, that was, I think that was one of the things too that I realized this season. They put us in those
cave outfits, the first freaking episode. Yeah. And I was like, oh, they're, okay.
This season was wild because when they were doing all the intros, my sister and I always talk about
the show. And when they were doing all the intros, she was like, why is everybody jacked
hot. Everyone. I was like, I'm the chubbiest guy before Devin's got in there. I was like,
I'm the chubbies guy here. And I'm like, you know, I'm not a horror. I've been working on a little
bit, but I'm not like, but I was like, what the heck is happening? Everyone's in a speedo.
All the girls are banging. Like, crazy. Mallory has an eight pack. Oh, Mallory's,
her body is tea. Everyone's so hot. And I feel like that's kind of what I loved about Big Brother
in earlier seasons. It was like, it was like this sexy summer of like fun and sex and romance,
maybe. And I felt like they kind of brought that back and then putting us in those slutty cave outfits.
Roe was
Roe and Chuck
Chuck was like
I've never worn a speedo before
Chuck was like
in the Speedo
it was so funny
but I think that was
super hot about our season
and like again
you're gorgeous
like you would fit in so well
thank you
is also so hot
she's the more
and because I love her so much
she's getting more beautiful
to me as she plays the game
and like seeing how smart she is
behind the cameras
that I'm watching them now
I'm like hot even hotter
I agree
I think I would have
become like
you know
a little straight for her
that's hilarious
I think so
that's no I
I actually was saying the same thing.
I said it, I think, two nights ago.
I was like, because I always say on Bachelor, I always noticed girls get prettier as the season
goes on.
And then I realize it's because I like them more.
Oh, yeah.
And I like their personality more.
And they become more beautiful to me.
And that's how I feel about Dee.
Like, I always thought she was gorgeous.
And the more I watch her play.
Yeah.
And again, I thought she was a dumb dumb in the beginning.
I was like, she doesn't know anything, you guys.
We have to teach her about the culture of Big Brother.
I'm obsessed.
She's, she.
And I think she's.
She's watched plenty of seasons because she gets it.
Right.
Yeah, she gets it.
I see that now, but in the house, she really fooled me, to be honest.
Great, great gameplay.
What is the most misunderstood about being a drag queen?
Oh, in general.
Yeah.
That, I mean, I think the most misunderstood about being a RuPaul's drag race drag queen is that we're rich.
Like, everyone's too scared to say it, but like, it's hard out here.
There's not a lot of money.
Why don't you get money?
I mean, we get money, but it's not like, we're not like RuPaul.
We're not making millions of dollars.
Yeah.
I mean. So I think, and I think a lot of drag queens are afraid to say that because they,
especially RuPaul Drag Race Girl, like, they don't want to be like, I'm broke or I'm poor.
Don't bite the hands. I do. We're artists. You know what I mean? We're independent artists at the
end of the day. And I think a lot of like the administration has taken a lot of funding away from
a lot of our events and pride events. So we don't have a lot of opportunities even now. Like a
a lot of Prides aren't even booking a lot of drag queens sometimes. So it's just a rough time.
And, you know, it's over saturation. Everyone wants to be a drag queen now too. And for me, it's like,
I don't even want to be a drag queen anymore. Like I'm an, I'm an,
artist, you know, I'm a performer and I kind of found myself in the drag lane. But like,
I think what's cool about drag is that we can go away from the bars and the clubs and
like we can find our own lane. Yeah. But that's just, you know, any other artists or
independent person is trying to make it work out here. It's just entertainment industry in
general. Did you learn how to do your own drag makeup? Yeah. Does everyone do their own drag
makeup? Yeah, totally. Everyone does it themselves for the most, unless you're RuPaul, you know.
But yeah, it's been a journey. I look horrible. The first, I would say the first eight years.
The evolution of Selena. I've just now gotten to the hang of it.
to be honest.
Wait,
what made you choose the name,
choose the name Selena.
Selena can thenia,
like,
I figured.
I figured.
I figured.
Of course,
that's my queen.
And honestly,
it was like a stupid name
I came up with
when I was like 20 years old.
Yeah.
I didn't even,
I wasn't even doing drag then.
But then when I started drag,
I was like,
I said this name once.
I'll do this.
Yeah.
Like, yeah, silly.
No, I love it.
I think it's wonderful.
And tell everybody where they can find you
because we gotta get you them,
brand deals.
Please.
Oh my God.
My following has been growing since Big Brother.
That's been so cute.
Yes.

And I love that this was your first Big Brother podcast.
You're so iconic and you're so beautiful.
And, like, you are the kind of podcast I get nervous to be on.
But the fact that you're such a Big Brother fan made it so easy.
So, like, I thank you.
Oh my gosh. I geek out all the time. Like as soon as you got sent out, I reached out to my producer.
I was like, get him on now. It's so crazy. It's weird too. It's like been two weeks. You know what I mean?
I was just in the Big Brother house and then just what a whirlwind. You're like thrown back into life.
And I'm like, no, you get chewed up and spat out. I miss the house to be honest. Like I want to be back. I want to be back to play. I want to be back to play. I want to be back to play. I want to be back to play. I want to be back to play. I want to be back to play. I don't. I know.
Oh my gosh. Well, how long are you in New York for?
I can leave on Thursday. I'm going to go to Florida. I'm going to go see Rome.
