Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story.
Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge,
there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice.
And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am.
It's not just any audiobook.
This is a full cast performance.
So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry,
brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads sing is Mr. Darcy.
And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything.
Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix.
Talk about a dream cast.
Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics,
and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy.
And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels
so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
So whether it's your first time experiencing pride and prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again.
So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash jane Austin.

Podcast One presents off the Vine with Caitlin
Bristol.
Caitlin is creating a space where girls
and gents can feel empowered to be
themselves. Get ready
for lots of last, tabby topics,
on filtered advice,
and wine.
Lots of wine.
Get ready to shake things up.
Here's Katie.
Lynn. All right, today on the podcast, I have the pleasure of talking to Jason all about my experience
on DWTS, our life, what's next. Jason, I feel like you're really good at summarizing things.
So why don't you take it from here? All right, I'll take it from here. So I think what we talked about
is what your expectation was versus the reality. We get into the weeds about other celebrities,
judges, stars on Dancing with the Stars. Who my biggest competition is? Your competition. We talked
about Artem as a partner and just a person, which is really cool.
cool. And then I think what we do is we have what I would call is just a nightly chat over wine.
For one of the first times ever, we talk, I think just like we normally would, whether we had
microphones in front of us or not, about what's next for us, what your big dream is after this
is over, and what plans may look like. And I feel like we get just pretty raw because it's
a Sunday night that we recorded this. And we're both pretty exhausted and just speaking from
the heart. Yeah. We weren't very on on this podcast. We were just a little more real. Just a little
tired and real, which is good. Which I love. Yeah. Okay, let's get into it. Welcome to Off the Vine.
Mm, that's a good sound. I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow, along with my co-captain.
Co-captain. Well, I don't know. Do I usually say that? Usually say guest. No, I usually say
co-host. I'll take either one. Let's go. Co-Captie tan. My glass is full of spain, spay and sparrows.
Cheers, baby.
Oh, cheers.
I always get awkward after we do cheers because I'm like, oh, we both have to drink.
Okay, wait.
What did I start my day with today?
A couple toots.
I mean, are we being honest?
Oh, my gosh.
I ate something off yesterday.
Was that a fart?
I don't know.
I can taste it.
Dating you for a year and, what, like, I don't know, nine, ten months.
Those are the worst toots I've ever seen from you.
Seen.
You saw it.
It was that bad.
You saw the gas coming out.
It was like green eggs and ham like with a little smoke coming out.
Okay.
This is embarrassing.
I don't get him proud of those two.
No, no, no, no.
I don't get embarrassed easily and I am blushing right now.
This is literally the start to this podcast.
Like I might have new listeners from Dancing with the Stars who they don't know me yet.
And they're going to listen to this and be like, wow.
They are savage those two.
disgusting and by the way from anyone who are new listeners like i was very buttoned up polished
and would never say anything like that two years ago and now here i am what how'd the day
star while you freaking toot it all over the place and it was brutal i didn't toot all over the
place i kept it in my little bubble of a room hot boxed it you stayed in the other room anyways
moving on from the toots i was getting at her day starts with coffee it ends with a wine
Oh, pitchy.
Mine was too.
It ends with a wine.
Oh, no, you're trying to.
Forever getting ready.
No, that's not the lyrics.
I'm not throwing off because you're calling me pitchy.
Okay, but my day starts with a coffee and now it's ending with a wine, which is the Luke
comb song that I will be dancing to.
Well, I guess when people listen to it today.
Mm-hmm.
I will be dancing today, tonight, Tuesday.
No, Monday, Caitlin.
I'm off.
Geez, tomorrow.
Yeah, but when people listen to this, it'll be Tuesday.
So I hope you enjoyed my dance.
Yes, I can't wait.
So I didn't know about Luke Holmes until I went to a concert with Blake, actually.
Blake got me backstage with Luke Holmes.
I'm like, who is this guy?
And I saw him live and he was, first of all, him and all of his boys backstage were the coolest guys ever.
Oh, yeah.
Most down-to-earth humans that I've ever met, went out to watch him.
And he was unbelievable, and he played beautiful.
Beautiful crazy.
And for me, I'm like, this is Caitlin.
like this is like you to a tea
do you feel like all girls think that though
because everyone's like oh I'm crazy
but this is you this is like you do wake up
with a coffee you do every night go to bed with a wine
I'm never on time you're never on time
you admit you willingly admit
you have a little bit of crazy to you
but it's Caitlin crazy it's you it's identifiable to you
and so there's so many things about that song
that just I don't know it literally just hits me
in these like soft places
and I always just think of you
and our memories and dancing
And, yeah, I can't wait to watch you tomorrow night.
Hits you right in the soft peen.
Exactly.
Anyhow.
No, I'm so excited to dance because I'm going to...
I mean, it's so sad that you can't be in the audience.
But I'm just going to picture...
I'm going to get like a little cardboard cut out of Jason
and put it in the balcony
and then I'll dance for your cardboard cut out.
Oh, thank you.
That's probably the worst thing about this whole thing
is the studio is literally a mile down the damn road.
And I can't even be in Caitlin's...
What do you call that?
trail not trailer
you call it a trailer
yeah
your star wagon trailer
I can't even be in there
to like hype her up
and do a little dance
before she goes out
I can't be in the audience
or on set or anything
and they said originally
we could be
no I think they said
originally they were gonna look
into it but they obviously
have to take
all of the most
proper precautions
for COVID
and just putting
extra bodies anywhere
is not
fridge your fucking
oh my god
that's from
alone which we watched today
I was home alone
on TV today
what a treat
I don't know but it was great
I'm still in, like, hocus pocus mood.
Would you rather watch Home Alone or football?
I'd watch the Buffalo Bills over Home Alone every day of the week.
But not other teams, just Buffalo.
Would you rather watch Home Alone or Stanley Cup?
Stanley Cup, because it's like a once-in-a-lifetime with, you know, different teams
where Home-Lone you can throw on any time.
Okay, would you rather watch, you get one of the other?
You have to watch Home Alone or you get to watch Hocus-Pocus and,
any other October Halloween theme movie.
So you get a two for one.
I don't even know what you just said,
but I love Hocus Focus.
What would you rather watch Home Alone?
Yeah.
You could either watch Home Alone.
Yeah.
Or you get Hocus Pocus plus any other.
No, home alone always.
Okay.
Good answer.
Yeah.
Anyways, a quick question and then we'll get back to the pod,
but how do you banish high rates on car insurance?
I know.
I know the answer to this.
You switch to Geico during Geico ween.
October is their favorite time of year.
and the folks over at GEICO have been working even harder to cast out high rates and craft just the right policy for you and your family.
Switching to GEICO isn't so scary, especially when they could brew up spellbinding savings just for you.
So get a quote today at GEICO.com and see just how much you could save.
No eye of newt needed. Happy GEICO ween, everyone.
I haven't done a podcast in a while because I've had so many in the bank.
Well, I did a couple with Lowe and you, but I feel like I haven't done a podcast in a while because I've just had so many saved up
so that I could really focus on my dancing.
And now here we are.
We get to talk about some relevant things.
Yeah.
Like how my ankle is so much better.
I think I got a new ankle in my sleep.
Exactly what happened with your ankle?
Because I think I see the pain that you're going through,
but I don't think everyone gets to see it.
And some people are like, was it dramatized for TV?
It was not.
Why don't you explain like the whole ankle thing start to finish
and how two weeks later it's like great.
Okay, I'll make it a short story.
Yeah.
Because I think a lot of people know.
But nothing specific happened to it.
I didn't fall on it.
I didn't step on it weird.
It didn't sprain or something.
Like there wasn't something I can pinpoint of how it happened.
I believe it was just wearing tear on the tendon of wearing three inch heels for practice.
And they were a little bit too big.
So I think my ankle just wasn't stable.
But why it happened to the right ankle and not the left, I'm not sure.
I think it has a little bit to do with how I have a tiny bit of scoliosis.
And that just throws off your whole hip into your knee, into your ankle.
Every, you know, this bone's connected to the.
that bomb. And so I think that's what happened. But now I have a shoulder injury and I'm just
done complaining. I'm like, I don't even care. I'm not telling, well, I guess I'm telling my podcast
right now, but I'm not, I'm like, I just have, I've accepted the fact that my body is just going to
feel like shit through this. Why is that? Why do, do people understand, do you think do people really get
how much of wear and tear dancing with the stars is on all the contestants? Or do you think it's just
you specifically? Oh, no. I think it's ever. I mean, there is like a line.
up to go to the physical therapist today oh really so there it's not just me because they don't talk about
that then I know that's it made me feel like a baby for my ankle even though I really did not think
I was going to dance that one week but I was like okay suck it up Caitlin everyone's going through some
pain everyone's coming out of there all taped up and wrapped up and it smells like icy hot in those
hallways it's bio freeze galore yeah bio freeze galore so it was but it was like your dream to be on
this show take a couple steps back dream to be on the show and now like
Like, now it's your reality.
So my question is, like, what is the difference between what you expected as, like,
this being your dream and not living it?
Like, what's the difference?
It's still a dream.
Every time I'm out on that stage or even in the dance studio and just learning, I genuinely just,
like, I feel like it's not true.
Like, it's not real.
Like, I'm...
But what has been your biggest, I guess, difference from expectation?
Like, you come in after dream, right?
I say it's going to be a dream to play in that NHL
and then you go play or whatever
and obviously the dream, right?
What is the biggest challenge
that you never expected?
What is something from this show?
Anything, it could be production, people,
it could be the dancer.
What is the biggest challenge
that you've had to overcome
that you didn't expect
that you would have to overcome?
I think the pain.
But you didn't think that.
I mean, you knew that was an expectation.
I guess I did know that because I've talked to so many people
who've been on the show that are like your body
goes through absolute hell.
And I think I was just like, oh, well, that's, you know, I've been training and doing all the right things and I'll be fine.
But I think the pain that you actually do battle through and every person does just to dance is like very impressive.
And but the hardest, you know what I think it's that I'm just not picking it up as much as I thought I would.
See, what I think is that, oh, it's my mama Kulich.
Can we bring her on?
Sure.
She might get nervous.
Yeah, she does get nervous.
Let's see.
Mama Kaluch.
Calooch, I got you on speaker, and you are now the triple co-host of Off the Vine Podcasts.
Say hello to everybody.
Hey, everybody.
I'm here tonight.
Everyone is doing good, and what is going on in your world over there?
Not much.
Just enjoying the night.
And so what has been the best part about watching Caitlin on Dancing with the Stars?
Oh, not to put her on the spot.
Oh, my gosh.
First of all, she's so beautiful.
beautiful, eloquent, classy.
I can watch Caitlin dance all night long.
Wow.
All night long.
Just absolutely stunning.
Thank you.
All right.
I'm going to put you on the spot.
Who do you think her biggest competition is?
Oh.
Oh.
I know.
Jenny wear.
Oh, okay.
All right.
That's good.
Yeah, I hear that.
He's a really entertaining person to
watch and he's like grateful and humble and like you can tell he's really working hard and
getting better each week yeah exactly he's disciplined yeah he knows what he has to do
um i think he's gonna i think he's gonna be tough i think he's gonna be one of those sleeper
yeah sleeper favorites like under dog your silent thunder yeah exactly i'm um you are i can't
believe i put you on the spot like this but i'm gonna continue to you are a woman of
word. So to, what would you say? The majority of your demographic is probably 24 to 44 year old
females. So if you had to say something to 24 to 44 year old females, majority of the
demographic or anybody of 2020, anything you could say, what would you say? I would say, be your
authentic self. Yes. Be who you are. Because you have to love yourself. You have to believe in
yourself and if you do you will have the confidence to go out and do whatever you want to do
but be you not everybody else yes just be yourself i love that queen collooch queen
calooch coming out anything so what did you originally call for talking about the bills
go bills all right i'll call you when we're done podcasting or tomorrow
have a good night hey bye love you love you too
she's like me like she just goes right into the okay she's like your presenter voice that's funny
oh my gosh have you ever heard my mom's voicemail voice oh yeah it's so funny hi i'm like what
where did that come from and her podcast voice anyways we're talking about dancing with stars
i want to ask you another question is from a production standpoint obviously you've been on two
huge um television shows with ABC the bachelor bachelor betcherette and dancing with the stars
from a production standpoint are they similar different and what are the differences
Um, I think so different.
I mean, they still, it just feels like Bachelor, you know, it's, it's, it's,
there for drama.
Mm-hmm.
And that's what they're trying to stir up.
And it's easy to do as a producer where this show, it's like more family-friendly and they
just, you know, it's not as like deep.
You know what I mean?
Like, no, what do you mean by that?
Like, you're not talking about your childhood and traumatic events that have shaped you.
and do who you are.
Sure.
Actually, you kind of are.
I mean, I talked about how traumatic.
COVID.
Stop.
I've been sneezing all day because of hours.
I see what you're saying family friendly,
like the audience, right?
Like your knee,
you're like your niece can watch this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Exactly.
And it doesn't feel as like, you know,
manipulated for drama.
It just feels like I can go in there
and completely be myself and like,
obviously I'm not,
there's just no drama.
It's different in that way.
Okay.
Yeah.
Is there someone from the,
the star's perspective. I say star because there's obviously the dancers and the dance
with the stars, the stars that you've clicked with, um, exceptionally or someone you're close with
for that matter. Um, I really like Anne and. And, oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I'm obsessed with her.
Um, but, heesh, heesh, right? And heesh. Hish. Hish. I always thought it was Anne Hesh. I know
that. I know that. I literally, she's one of my favorite human, Ellen DeGeneres is X, right?
Yeah. Okay. And also a very well-known.
actress and her resume is impressive okay so she's her she is a firecracker she's so funny she's so
full of life she's so kind amazing yeah she's amazing i really love chichelle because i think she's one of
she's just a sweetheart are you guys friends would you say we were like social media friends before this so
yeah now i feel like we're friends but it's hard because we can't hang out with anybody like what a
bizarre thing ardom was telling me how after dancing with the stars you know every whatever night it
used to be on tuesdays that they would just go to this place across the street have drinks eat
and watch it on the East Coast time.
And I was like, oh, we're just missing out
on so much bonding time that it's like,
because it's not like, even for like the celebrities and the stars,
we go in there and I feel like Ardham and I are very disciplined with dance.
Like sometimes I almost even get in my head.
I was telling you this last night.
Like, are we doing enough social media?
Are we doing enough like funny TikToks, Q&As or Instagram stories?
But it's so hard because we both go in there and like,
we want to just work so hard.
and make sure we have everything perfected,
and we want to make sure that even when we do get the steps down,
we're then finessing every other move possible.
Like, I don't, I just feel like we're so passionate about dancing
that we forget to do other stuff.
What do you mean by other stuff?
Like I see all the other celebrities and their pros doing, like, funny TikToks
or, like, more behind the scene stuff,
which I know I would love to give people,
but I genuinely, I'm like, we only have this certain amount of time.
My dance was not clicking this week,
and I want obviously it to be perfect
because I'm dedicating it to you.
And I'm just like,
I don't have time or anything else.
Yeah.
Yeah, I feel like my perspective is that you could think,
I don't know what people think is like,
at the end of the day,
what is going to determine whether you guys continue to do well,
I don't think it's going to be the TikToks.
I don't think it's going to be the behind the scenes.
I think it's how are you going to perform in front of like,
I can't believe how critical these judges are every Monday night.
Do you think that's important?
me because they see I have a dance, air quote, dance background. Because if I think about my
dance background, like, okay, you know how the show, you know how the show does, what was your job
title? Was it accurate when you went on The Bachelor? Kind of sort of. It was Jason Tardick.
It said senior corporate banker, which is pretty right on. So mine was dance instructor. And I'm
like, I guess I taught three-year-olds when I was 16. Like I really was never a dance instructor.
And there's just been so many funny titles
But I was like
Oh, that's what they went with for me
Okay, weird
So people I think
associate me as a dance instructor
With Dancing with Stars
And some people are like,
It's not fair
And I'm like, well, really I
The reason I didn't make it as a dancer
Is because I genuinely wasn't good enough
I think it's been
I think they're pretty hard on everyone honestly
And I think it's been
I think you could probably find small inconsistencies
But I think like,
I don't know if that was the same
They all got AIDS
But in general, I think it's been pretty consistent.
And they have, listen, it's not like they're afraid to dish out dog shit ratings.
They gave Carol Baskin last week a three.
Well, her performance was dog shit.
That's what I'm saying.
It was. It was cute.
She went on top, living her best life as a cat.
Yeah, I mean, she had a, would you think she was turned on by Pasha while he was in a lion suit?
No, I don't just kidding.
Don't say turning turned on.
Oh, yeah, sorry.
All right, quick break while I'm recording this, I'm actually wearing.
a crew neck skimming tea and some spaced eye ankle socks from one of my favorite places to shop for staples
and more express the new express is full of comfortable super high quality versatile styles for whatever
your lifestyle might look like i was just browsing their site today like i do many days they have
everything from blazers and tops for video calls jason you like blazers which will definitely come
in handy to party tops and sweatshirts and hoodies so basically no matter what you're looking for
you're going to be able to find it on their website.
You can even shop for your style, whether that's modern romantic or polished minimal.
I would say I'm a bit of both.
I was checking out the satin v-neck cammy in this really cute soft beige color
because I feel like it's perfect for work halls and meetings,
but also for going out to dinner.
You know when that happens ever again?
I don't know.
My favorite part about Express is that a ton of their clothes are versatile,
which makes life a little easier when you're getting ready in the morning or at night.
You can dress up their styles or dress down and you'll always feel put together.
They have a huge focus on the comfort of their pieces, and let's be real.
We've all been in those situations where we look really cute, but we feel pretty much awful.
This is seriously never the case with Express.
You have to go browse their website and their social.
And right now, you can text Vine to 397-737 to receive $25 off your purchase.
We'll be back with more Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow.
Now back to Off the Vine.
With Caitlin Bristow.
Let me talk about behind the scene stuff.
We're in the same building as Carol Baskin was.
I don't think she still is.
But it's so funny because you see her and she is so on brand.
It's insane.
She's always, always, always in tiger, lion gear had to toe.
Huge backpack had a huge tiger on it.
Her face mask was tiger.
And then I was even laughing because Caitlin had, it was like a behind this,
not behind the scenes.
It was like an all cast member meeting.
And you guys all had to come in your Zooms.
And what does everyone do?
they're in like their sweats they're coming to zooms whatever carol baskin has like her the head gear on and then she has the background and this background says hey are you cool cats and kittens and then has two big tigers next to her head i'm like you got to be shit
those zoom cast meeting calls are like unbelievable so entertaining i always have to mute myself because i just burst at laughing that's where anne goes hey i just listen and okay you think about these these these producer uh cast calls are they're supposed to be like five minutes and you know just like get in here's
what we have to tell you be done and just has all these thoughts questions comments she's also like
a director it's unbelievable it's amazing so funny it is absolutely amazing i'm i'm genuinely like sometimes
can't sleep at night because i'm so scared to go home because i love this ride so much like i even
i'm ready to go home i know this is brutal one thing i will say okay no i was going to say one
thing i will say i asked you the same question so i'll bring it back to me like what is
the difference between your expectation of this versus the reality. My perception is I am absolutely
shocked at how much time you guys have to put into this. I mean, you think about it. Like they're
practicing for four to six hours a day. Then they have to go get, you know, whatever. So it's for it. But
time you leave, you get up, you get ready. That's like six hours. And it's going to increase. You think
about the time you have to put into like the outfits and then camera blocking. Then if you get a spray tan,
If you have glamour makeup, if you have interviews, interviews for the show,
interviews outside the show, then the other thing, which people obviously don't realize
is that most of you guys are hurt at some capacity.
So you have, like, you have physical therapy on the show, physical therapist off the show.
You have a chiropractor coming tonight at 8.30.
I'm like, how the, like, how are these people doing anything but this show?
It is crazy to me, how demanding this show is.
Crazy.
I know.
And I think that's why, you know, like, it's a competition.
and you know I'm so competitive
it does my competitive side does
well it has not come out yet
because I'm genuinely rooting for everyone
like I love watching everyone dance
I don't sit there and go
oh God their dance was better than mine
like I sit there and I genuinely am like man
they put in so much work in that dance
and wow they've improved so much from last week
and like I find myself genuinely rooting
for every couple out there right now
yeah I think actually to your point
I'll be honest it's like you
I would cover, maybe we'll do a recap or something about The Bachelor, it is tough for me to
get through a Bachelor episode start to finish. It is. This show, I thoroughly enjoy everyone's
performance. It is really, really, you could see how much work is put in. And I think it's,
it's really, it's just a cool show to watch. So what have you found the most challenging?
Everything. Just like, get me, I am here strictly because you are living your dream and that's it.
And anything I could do to support you, I will do it.
But this being here is absolutely miserable.
Oh, wow.
No, it is.
It's miserable.
It's like, so we're in L.A., right?
I mean, just to set the picture, we're in a high-rise and about a 900-square-foot apartment with two dogs who are 50 pounds, right?
And they need to go out.
They need to play.
They need to do that.
So every trip is about 20 to 30 minutes.
And you got to, I got to get these dogs out.
They have too much energy.
They're puppies.
So we got to get them out a minimum of like seven to nine times a day, I would say.
And then on top of it working, but also the other thing is that we're so cognizant of what's going on with COVID and who we're with.
And I think we've really tightened it up lately.
It lasts like a few weeks.
So it's just, uh, this is all work.
Yeah.
There is no fun in games.
This is all work.
Plus, I'm like gone during the day and then it's a little bit dangerous for me to be walking the dogs alone at night.
So you're doing like full dog dad duty.
Yeah.
Well, but I mean, how, okay, let's look at this from a, you know, just cracks the shit.
No, I don't, like, shouldn't be.
complaining, but I'm just being honest.
No, no, no, I want real. Hey. Yeah.
I love hearing Jason not be missed or positive and being real. I love that because I would find
this so challenging as a partner. But what I will say, silver lining is that it is so temporary.
So temporary. And that you have so much going on for yourself that that also helps. Like, thank God
you just have so much like work that you do and so much that you put into your businesses and things
that you do that like you have such a busy day it's not like you just sit here and wait for me oh my god
yeah no it's non-stop so but the thing is like my day is work non-stop and then i'll get out for like a run
and then take the dogs out and that's it right so it's just like i think if we just were in a place
where we had i don't know just even grass where i could let the dogs out and a little uh
i don't know how people live like this apartment life full time with dogs oh my gosh i have no
dogs anyways. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But listen, in the scheme of things of what's going on today,
this is not, this is awesome. Is there something I could do to make it easier for you?
No. I mean, we're just, we're battling. We're just, we're not, I think we're, you realize,
we're here just so like, we're here to do this and let's kick ass and let's have a hell of a chapter
and then move on to the next one. So, um, this is just part of the ride. It is what it is.
LA has been like surprising, I think, to both of us because you were a little excited to come
here. Super excited. And then now that we've been here, it's like a little bit.
like, ooh, it's like a little bit dangerous.
It's dirty.
It's, I don't know.
It's just not like a lot of questions that, uh, when I asked people to ask questions for
the podcast, they were like, they were like, oh, would you ever move to L.A.
from Nashville?
And I'm like, hell no.
Nashville is like one of the greatest cities.
I would have thought about it before coming here.
After being here, there's no chance I would move here.
Yeah.
No chance.
Zero point zero zero percent.
I mean, unless you like bathing in garbage and.
I think we're just in a tough.
area. Yeah, we're in a tough area. Great building, though.
Interesting. L.A. is, I just want to talk about this for a second. It's fascinating
this city, especially, so we're in downtown Hollywood, which I know the surrounding area
or whatever, but the income disparity here is just absolutely mind-boggling to me.
It's wild to, like, get out. I feel like I'm living in a different world where I go downstairs
because we're in this, like, super nice building. They put us in and dance with stars.
It's incredible. But there's these, like, people have these, like, custom, like, Maserati's in
Lamborghinies and just like every Aston Martins and they're like all custom made.
And then there's like this 19 year old that gets out and you're just like, what?
You know, it's probably some like YouTuber, TikTok or something like new money.
It's just like, but then you literally turn the corner and there, and I'm not kidding you,
like 40 tents in the, you see the homeless and there's like a little, I think about the things
we've seen here.
We've seen fire in the streets.
We've seen helicopters due to protests because some people were shot and then some
other people were run over, we've just seen a lot. Like, it's just, the income disparity is right
in your face here. I'm pretty sure I put my hand in human shit. You did put your hand in human shit.
Can we talk about that? Yeah, though that's one other thing too, the trash situation. I don't know
if it's the people or the area. I don't understand it, but they're trash everywhere. As a result of that,
when we walk the dogs in this confined area, there's always, because there's a chicken wing wing place over
here there's always bones people don't throw their stuff in the trash so there's bones everywhere
as anybody with dogs knows bones digest it for dogs can be tragic if not catastrophic so when
we're walking them if we get in those areas we have to like be very careful like I'm like you know
eyes left to right making sure no bones are on the ground and not you know very often our dogs
especially because they're from the streets they'll get a bone and we will have to do the process of
getting our getting our hands in their freaking mouth they're like thriving on the streets here
in L.A.
They're like,
I'm home.
They're like, I'm home.
Give me that.
Everything.
So tell the story.
That being sad.
Oh, my gosh.
So we were walking.
You had the car.
So you drove the car home and Lowe and I were walking the dogs.
And again, I'm just like, they'll grab a chicken bone.
And I will not even think twice and put my hand down.
It's usually Pino.
Pino's throat and grab a chicken wing or whatever kind of garbage he gets out.
Well, he decided to eat.
What I'm pretty sure was human shit.
I keep telling myself it was dog poo
but I saw that log
and oh my God I'm gonna barf
I'm gonna barf
I'm gonna barf it was the most grotesque thing
and I saw Pino go after something
so I went oh and I reached into his mouth
and pulled it out and I just looked at low
and I said I think I might be able to laugh
about this later but right now get me the
and I wiped my hand on the streets
and I just ran home with my hand out
just shaking like
upset and I came upstairs and I bleached my hand I washed it like and it smelled and it smelled and
and then in the middle of the night Pino burped and it sounded like he was going to vomit no and it was
and it smelled like he shit the bed but it was his breath oh my why are we sharing such disgusting
stories right now so the 41 days that I've been in L.A., not that I'm counting to watch
Caitlin dance every Monday night has been absolutely worth it.
Okay, good.
But in between and outside, it's been, it's been a grind.
But to be honest, I do hate complaining because, again, I cannot stress this enough
that it actually feels like a dream come true.
And I think you could see that when I'm out there.
Like, I'm smiling ear to ear.
I'm just like thrilled every second.
Even each injury or each sore muscle or each joint and things that are bother me, I'm
like great part of the journey yeah and it's surreal that you have since the day i met you you've
talked about this and i always thought it was a pipe dream and now it's happening and that's so cool
yeah so got to take it so what we're saying is vote text katelyn to 215 23 no it's too late now

So tell me a little bit more about Artem, how are things going with him?
What's the partnership like?
I call Artem the Velvet Hammer because, first of all, I didn't know this,
but I guess other pro no I didn't know this sorry I found out the other pro dancers call him
velvet because he's like so smooth when he dances and even when he like walks out of a building
I'll see paparazzi photos of him and he's like somehow gliding like he's just a smooth dancer
yeah and um but he he lays down the law like he is he means business in that dance studio
um and sometimes he'll like you know like forget a step or do something and he'll just look at me
like how are you not getting this yeah and so I call him the velvet hammer because he's so
he's so lovely he's so nice he's so smooth he's such a good dancer but he's very disciplined
but that's why he's one of the pros and honestly I'm such a perfectionist that I appreciate it because
I mean it might be hard in the moment but by the end of it like remember I came home one day and I said
oh my gosh like I thought I was doing it and then it was like nope your foot needs to be turned out here
when you walk and then you saw the two differences you're like well I'm not going to lie it makes
a huge difference when you do that sure but he he really does like I mean he
he's a pro for a reason and it's it's sometimes I want to cry but for the most part I like love
it so much because I want it to be that good and I want to work that hard but he um it's so
funny because he he of course he's Russian but I think he's been in America so long that sometimes
I'm like are you faking that accent because he uses such big words and like like he's just so
intelligent that I'm like there's literally no language barrier there yeah
It's interesting.
I love to hear more from the dancers about their kind of how they got to where they are
because Gleb, when we had dinner with Gleb, he was saying him and Kio.
I had dinner with him and Keio.
And Gleb was saying that at 14 years old, he remembers, I think, in Russia, riding, like,
the train to dance with Artem.
And they're at two different studios.
And it's my understanding that, like, a very young age, this is like, this is, like,
this is what they do, this is how they do it, they're 100% in, there is nothing else.
It's, it's, I will do everything and anything to be the best I can do it at it.
And think about how far they've come and how long they go back.
Yeah.
And so you just put in perspective, they work so hard for this.
I was like, Ardom, did you like, like, fox trot your way out of the womb?
Like, have you been doing it since then?
And he was, and he was like, I actually played hockey until I was 14.
He said in Russia, you either play hockey or do you dance?
Uh-huh.
But no one else in his family danced.
Really?
Yeah.
His dad's like a rocket scientist.
So he wasn't like pressured into being a dancer or anything.
Was this always his dream to like go to America and become a professional?
Yeah, I think it eventually became his dream.
I think his first, his first dream was hockey and then his second dream was that.
That's really cool.
But yeah, he's.
And I think honestly, I heard him saying this in an interview that having the year off that he had last year made him appreciate it so much more to be back this year.
That's good.
Plus he's a dad.
that he is so like i think their baby i'm not i think it's the the best looking baby i've ever seen
in my life honestly like the hair the head of hair oh my god it's like oh my god it's the cutest baby i've
ever seen it's so cute like nicky will i've learned that Nicole is what she goes by
Nicole okay um but Nicole will send him like such cute videos and like pictures like during rehearsal
like oh he just did this because obviously you know he doesn't he doesn't want to miss
a second with that baby and so when he's at the few hours of rehearsal she's sending him stuff and
it's just like I literally melt and my ovaries burst every time because I'm like oh my god
that's the cutest baby and somehow Nicole still looks like fire and she's she's doing like
I don't think they have help she is like full time podcasting filming stuff for a show being a new
mom and obviously like Artem is so hands on when he's there but I know he wish
as he was, you know, but this, I, I feel like every dance.
Have you talked to her since?
Because obviously we've podcasted with them and stuff.
Yeah, yeah, we've talked to her like Instagram and stuff.
Or FaceTime if she FaceTime's Artem.
But he said that every time he dances, he just thinks about Nicole and Mateo and how he's
doing it for them.
And it's so sweet.
So I'm like, God damn, I'm doing it for myself.
I'm doing it for myself.
And he's just like, yeah, it's so cute.
they've they're just they're just a really sweet little trio family yeah it's amazing it's very
cute but yeah but i think i get soft artem like i think before he was even you had less velvet
more hammer wow hey that's what you need yeah so of all the dances and like themes right you just
had disney theme and and like there's i know there's different style of dances what are you
most looking forward to from a dance perspective and a theme perspective i am really
excited for the week after because it's 80s night okay so what's the theme for that 80s no i'm saying like
don't you have a actually i don't know if i can talk about that yet oh i'm not sure just know it's 80s
and i might be wearing headgear wow cannot wait to see that i'm so excited you know what i'm really
the most excited for is the argentine tango i think that is like the coolest dance because it's edgy
and it's like fierce and sharp and like it's what um jena and neve did last when he was a pirate
uh i love it so that is awesome so i know like people there's a lot of rumblings about how this show
is difficult i mean even people to me were like how do you feel about katelyn dancing with someone
i'm excited for her so i know you're friends with jana we podcasted with her before we came
out here and i know jana kramer had a really tough time or at least she alludes to the fact that
this show created a lot of stress on her life and her relationship and all these other moving
parts. Do you feel as though that kind of like, I guess, her experience has it all, even in the
smallest bit correlated to yours? No. And I think that's, it's so different for everyone because
one, I think, I don't think it's, it was Jana's passion to be a dancer. I don't think these
people who have gone on and said how hard it was. It wasn't a dream.
dream come true for them.
Maybe it was, but as far as I know, it's not.
And Jana was going through such a hard time.
I know that she just, you know, her book, The Good Fight with Mike just came out and she
talked about how during that time she had a fling on dancing with the stars, how it was like
such a stressful time in her life.
But that's because she was going through a really hard time with her marriage and she just
had a newborn.
So she's the culmination of everything.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I think for me it's just like everything just feels so surreal.
and I haven't I mean it's challenging of course but I like love the challenge or I'm like embracing every second of it where I think it just depends on the person like I mean it can't be easy watching your partner dance with it's but it's hard because we're not jealous people I've actually been jealous in other relationships and this one I just feel obviously the most confident in because we feel so safe together that I feel like we don't really.
have jealousy issues but I feel like it's still no matter if you're the most chill human being
on the planet it's got got to be like a little challenging because you're like well I wish I could
do that out there with you you know what I mean sure oh I would find it hard if yeah I wouldn't be like
oh my gosh Jason's going to cheat on me if you were dancing with a beautiful lady out on the
dance floor doing these hot moves I would just be like I wish I could do that with him I don't know
why I don't get, yeah, like, you know, people say stuff all the time, but I just genuinely don't
get jealous of that. I don't know why. And maybe it's too, no, it could be to a fault, honestly.
It could be to like, like, you should be a little bit. Okay, well, now you're worrying me. No,
I don't feel so safe anymore. You don't even give a shit. No, I just like, don't, I don't know.
I don't, I don't, I look at it. I think, I take the emotion out of it. I'm just like,
they're dancing. It's, it's a, it's work. But I think, that's how I think, bother you. Like,
not in a jealous way, though. I think sometimes I come home and you're a little bit resentful
that you've just taken care of the dogs all day and worked your butt off and I come home
and nap. I think you're probably like, okay, help me out here. Like, I think you get a little
resentful. And that's okay. No, no, I don't think. I really don't think I. Let's be honest. I really
do. I don't think I get resentful. If you come home and nap, I could care less if you come home
Okay, well, there's something. I can just tell.
No.
Something you get like a little bit irritated.
I mean, I think every human, I don't think my irritation has anything to do at all if I ever do with the show.
It has nothing to do with the show or anything.
My irritation is just being like in this smaller place locked cooped up, not being able to pretty much do like anything.
I can't, you know, like for example, Tyler Cameron's in town.
They're going to do a workout.
He calls me.
can't go to the gym like things like that i'm like what the hell like i wish imagine how bad you'd
feel if you got co-bidding me which is why i don't go wait which is why i don't go no i know i know i told
you know told tyler or this and then but he's like no i can't you know blake's coming in a couple
weeks and he just asked me hey what's our plans i'm like i can't make i can't pretty much do
anything so that's not resentful towards sneak on the football game what's that when did you sneak on
this football game in the background this football game has been on the whole time stop it literally the
whole time. Before we started, I'm like, don't put on the football. It's been on that since we
started. Oh, that's so funny. Okay. I didn't know. I still know. But yeah, I think that's,
you know, that what I alluded to earlier, but nothing related to the show. And you're talking about
jealousy stuff like that. No, I know. I know. Yeah. Of course, I don't, I've not felt an ounce of
jealousy. No. But I think that's because I've such a respectful partner to. You know what I
mean? That's probably, honestly, that's probably true. Yeah. Like, I mean, from every, I've only
met out of them very briefly, but from everything I've seen and heard, just seems like an
absolute professional full of class and character. And I think that's it. Like you show me the
videos and you see everything. You could hear like behind the scenes during after. It's work.
Yeah. He's like one, two, three, one, two, three. It's done. Boom. Get off. You missed this turn.
You can just tell he is locked in just like I am when I wake up and I start analyzing the market
and looking at it's like he is so focused on what he's doing. It's work. Exactly. I
don't know that that's the case for every dancer right and I think that I agree with you
if it was maybe different it would probably irritate me a little bit more right that's very
fair yeah okay because I because there are sometimes I do see some of the other dancers and some like
the moves they do I'm like shit that guy's married like what that's pretty intense so that's fair
but again that's the style of dance like that's yeah and chemistry is how you get great at it
yeah that's part of it plus I think artem and I have such good dance chemistry and a friendship
chemistry that it translates like I think you know for like single people or whatever when
they're it's in a lot of times you know people get a little fling or certain things happen and I could
see that but I think I think that's why I feel so blessed also to have Artem is because we both
not not saying the other couples don't do this but like artem and I go in there and we're like
how do we work our asses off today and do this for ourselves and for our significant
and others at home and, like, it's just like, we're different parts in our life.
It's fun, but yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
Anyways.
No, I think that's, that's good.
All right, I think we all know we're pretty much living in a constant state of stress,
anxiety, exhaustion, and that is simply not okay.

with Caitlin Bristow.
This little chico pit bull, Mr. 305,
but it said, Mr. Worldwide,
Amandito Gritamperes. I had to use the real name.
Why? Because now it's the podcast.
From negative to positive, which you can catch on.
Apple Podcast, Podcast One, and Spotify.
Flo to the rider.
Woo!
I don't even know if you know how much they play you around the world or anywhere, my brother.
No matter how much bread we make, dog, we can't take it with us.
No matter how many houses, cars, whatever we acquire, can't take it with us.
With that said, anything we make is always to give back, dog.
Why are we starting a podcast?
Well, it's real simple.
With the times that we're living in right now in the world, I think you need to be motivated,
inspired, educated, aware, positive.
So what I'm here is just to motivate the world
and let them know when we talk, we call a spade to spade.
So you're going to hear the truth.
So I look forward to the podcast.
I look forward to showing y'all, teaching y'all how to take it from a negative
to a positive, so get ready.
From negative to positive, which you can catch on Apple Podcast,
Podcast, Podcast One, and Spotify.
You're listening to Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow.
Should we get to a little Q&A from the Instagram world?
do a little Q&A. Oh, wait, I have a question. One more question for it. So this was like one of your
kind of like pipeline, pipe, what do they call it? Piped dream. Piped dream dreams. Am I saying
that right? I don't know what you're talking about. So being on Dancing with the Stars was one of you like
what I'm trying to say is like far fetched dreams, right? And then it came to fruition. So now that
you've accomplished this, what do you think is like the next thing on your bucket list? And I know like,
I know what you right now, your answer. I know what it's going to be. I really want to
to be focused on like a family and babies and I think that's amazing but I also know you well
enough to know even if you have a family and a babies you always are like what's the next like
I know you always have these dreams and aspirations and even if it's something like what it could be
anything it could be anything but you know mom is a dream and an aspiration so do you think that is
the next if I win if I if artem and I win the mirror ball I will I will poke holes in your condom
But I do feel like
I feel very proud of myself
and where I'm at
and what I've accomplished
that I genuinely have always wanted to be a mom.
Yeah, absolutely.
And that is such a full-time job
that I'm, I mean, I'm 35.
Yeah.
And I'm like, wait, are you ready?
Oh, hell yeah.
Oh, okay.
Oh, for sure.
I'm like, okay.
I'm like, absolutely. I'm totally, totally ready.
And of course I will continue to grow all of my businesses.
And I want spade and spares my wine company to be such a focus.
I want my podcast to just grow.
I feel like I get so in my head about the podcast because there's so many podcasts out there.
People aren't commuting anymore.
So like I get worried if downloads go down that I'm not being good enough.
I've been getting in my head.
I want to just make sure that this is always a place where people can just like,
have a good 45-minute, like, escape.
Same thing with Dancing with the Stars.
I'm like, I feel so dumb when there's the biggest election coming up,
and I'm like, vote for me.
I feel so dumb, but I'm like,
I also want this to be such an escape for people to just get away for an hour
and watch people dance and, you know, live out their dreams.
And I want to be in their living room every Monday.
Yeah, I mean, that's the cool thing about this show,
is that it's going to continue to build your platform.
and then with your platform, you can do with what you will to make whatever impact you want, right?
And obviously so far in five years, you've made such an incredible impact on so many people's lives.
I mean, I've told this story before, but I have literally walked in an airport with you and someone comes up out of nowhere and starts bawling their eyes, saying like you've changed your life.
So doing stuff like this allows you to continue to be yourself and build your platform to inspire people the way you always have, which is amazing.
Yeah, I just want to do good in the world.
yeah
and be good
so in five years from now
where's Caitlin Bristow
she is
let's here
because you're a manifester
we are inspired
I usually don't like this question
because I'm like
but in five years from now
so you will be
35 four years old
I would like to have a little
wait I never thought I would say this
put it out there in the world
what is it going to be
in five years from now
I'm going to have a little girl
I already know her name
well we are going to have a little girl
I already know her name
is something burning
do you only want to have one
do you only we've talked about this your answer is not what i think you how many kids you want to have
two yeah okay well you said i'm going to have one little girl well because that's just starting
baby steps here five years yeah because i'm not against having one kid this isn't even a podcast
this is like just you and i talking in a random night on sunday that's good i like that you want to have
in five years from now you only i want to have one kid see no i'm here's where i'm at like you and i
taken our steps and i think we've done it like the right way right like we dated long distance we
moved in together we got two dogs we've like gone through crazy um chapters of our lives and then like
for me i see the next portion of our lives being like a blitz like like get engaged get married
kid kid kid kid kid kid like just like kid kid kid kid that's three yeah two or three right yeah just like i
see it being like a blitz like
okay actually while we're talking about this
can I address something oh god
so I think people a lot of people
this is something that's interesting
I think a lot of people speculate
on us to like oh they want to get engaged
oh because like the kid
kind of like oh they're talking about their kids or whatever
and they like make assumptions or whatever
I think the thing is is that
9.9 out of 10 times
people those are usually these like clickbait answers that have no context to what the conversation is
and someone picks up on one little thing that might attract clicks so then they will ask you a pointed
question right so like some people will be oh I didn't like your answer to that or this but imagine
I want anyone listening you're just like you're going about your day you're at work you're get back
from work you walk in the house and then someone and I know this is not at all like fair but someone's like
right there. So when are you getting engaged?
Yeah.
It's like you don't even know how to, like, it's like there's no context,
there's no conversation, don't flow.
So a lot of these conversations, you get these answers that become headlines that just
are totally relevant to even like what's realistic.
That's why I guess, first of all, I have to address this.
You said 9.9 times out of 10, which doesn't make any sense because they're,
you said 9.9 times out of 10.
But if there's only 10 times, you can't have 9.9 times out of 10.
you just have nine out of ten yeah well the idea is 9.9.9 out of 10 is 99% so 99% of time but
why didn't you tell me I had broccoli in my teeth I just picked it out I didn't even notice you did
I sat down in the interview chair to do something and they're like you have chocolate all in the
bottom of your teeth anyways um that's the same thing like I get so frustrated when people still
ask me you know obviously I went through this for years with people would ask me about Nick and
then everyone's like stop talking about him and I'm like wait but you're not just like
just like just imagine you're walking on the street and someone's like so
Oh, tell me about your ex-girlfriend,
whatever her name is.
Like someone says to me,
I'd be like,
I think she's good.
She's in Buffalo.
I don't know.
She's well.
Yeah.
Like, I don't, like,
you just get hit with the question.
Yeah.
I don't know.
But what are you getting in?
Oh,
I wanted to give context because we're talking openly about like how many kids we want
and what we want in a relationship.
But I don't think people usually,
before we get married.
I don't think usually people get this conversation because the reason they don't usually get it
is because they have a reporter that's asking you one quick question.
And as a result of that,
you don't have time to actually.
say what you're thinking.
Yeah.
Do you think I'll get pregnant before we get married?
I personally would hope not.
Oh, what?
Mr.
Traditional over here?
Yeah, that's traditional.
Oh, so should we not have sex before we get married and should we not live together before we get married?
That's not what I said.
I said I would hope, in a perfect world, I would want you to be pregnant after we get married.
Well, guess what?
My body.
I'm not saying.
Wait, wait, wait.
I'm not to, I'm not to man.
Yeah. Wait, I'm not demanding. I'm not like, no, we will be married. I would prefer that we
were married. Okay. Why? The reason I'd prefer that we were married. It's a great question,
but I'll be honest with you. The only thing I could think of off top of my head on a random Sunday night
when I'm pretty tired is that, like, I think that for my kids, not that it's right or wrong,
if you have, like, if things happen, they happen. But in an ideal world, like in a perfect case scenario,
I think I would want my kids to be married before they have kids.
And as a result, no, in a perfect world.
I'm not saying it's right.
Why is that a perfect world?
Because the idea is that you have a fully committed partner that you two are committed
your lives and you gave each other's vows to one another that through that through
all, I'm blanking on like the words you use when you get married, but through sickness and
and health that like you have a committed part.
Can you just commit that without signing government papers?
I mean, that's very, very, very.
fair statement yes you can i get what you're saying the idea you get what i'm saying you right the idea is
like i think it is in the kids best interest to have a parent that like that are like i mean i disagree
but that's okay i'm also not even yeah i guess i haven't really thought about that why do you disagree with
that because i just think it doesn't matter i think if you are two grown adults who love each other
and know you're committed then i just don't think i i think it's i think it's showing the kids
The commitment, not the paperwork.
Correct.
I think that's fair.
Okay.
So it's now a good time to tell you I'm pregnant?
That's right.
I'm like, fall in the sleep.
Got the sports game over here, having a class wine.
I'm like, shit, we're getting into real talk.
We're just going to finish this with some questions from listeners.
And then I'm going to go to sleep.
So Restoros says, when you have free time together, what do you love to do?
What do we love to do?
We love to watch movies, watch shows, play games.
We like to go on, we like to do active things.
Like we golf, sometimes we hike, sometimes we just go for walks.
We work out together.
What else?
What did I miss?
That's pretty much it.

Samantha Bray says, where do you picture yourself raising kids?
Right now, if I have to answer that, I would say probably Nashville, Tennessee, honestly.
Wow.
Yeah.
The South.
How about you?
What do you think?
Alberta.
Vancouver, possibly.
Montreal, Saskatchewan,
Winnipeg, Newfoundland,
Northwest Territories,
anywhere in Canada,
which leads me to my next one.
My girl, Kate's,
one of you coming back to Canada?
I'm serious.
That's another conversation.
That's for another podcast.
Okay.
Samantha Bray,
wait,
didn't I already just read a question from her?
Yeah, I did.
Well, she's getting two in.
Do you have baby names picked out one?
have one one great freaking name it's perfect beautiful okay um ms miss forney would you guys do your
own reality show yes no okay next question why wouldn't you i just i i i um i understand
i understand you've done 8000 real you've done several reality no i'm saying i'm saying you've been
well you've been on the bachelor you've been on the bachelorette you've been on listen to your heart
You have been on, that's a reality show though, but you're on it.
Okay, so yeah, would I do a guest appearance on somebody's reality show?
Yes.
Yeah.
It freaks me out to, it freaks me out to put my relationship on blast when you know that drama sells and I wouldn't, I just, I don't know if I could handle that pressure on the relationship.
Maybe if it was something like.
What do you mean?
We put everything out there.
Yeah, our choice and.
Oh, so you're saying, well, if you own creative.
I don't know.
Um, you're going to like this one.
Emily Pye says,
how do you manage and share doggy responsibilities while juggling busy schedules?
Jason just rolled his eyes.
I,
I took out ramen tonight.
I do when I can.
But you have really been a true American hero when it comes to doggy dad duties.
Um,
okay.
BMAX 6187.
and says, well, you teach Jason how to dance with you?
I tried once.
You weren't happening.
No, that's not true.
What are you talking about?
We've danced several times in this living room.
No, we dance.
But, yeah.
No, no, no.
Of course we dance.
I just talked about that with Artemhow.
We danced to our song in the kitchen and everything.
But I'm just saying when I try and teach you like the one, two, three, one two three.
It's not that I'm not having it.
It's that we're in this like a little place.
I would love, are you kidding me.
I would love to learn how to dance like that.
Well, then I'm going to teach you on Instagram.
And I can.
I can do it too, I feel like.
Oh.
Yeah. Oh, 100%.
That you're dismissing and discrediting everything I work so hard for.
No, I'm not dismissing. I'm saying with practice, I think I could be a very good dancer.
Soccer, most soccer players, I feel like it could be very good dancers because you have to be good on your feet.
Right, but that's what you learn. Form and feet.
Your arms. Ardham was a hockey player too, so hockey soccer.
Your arms are everything.
I realize that it is so damn hard and it's, I can never be as good as you. That's for sure.
No, I'm not, you probably could.
There's no chance.
Alex Bain says, honest opinion of Carol Baskin.
This is going to be controversial, but I.
My honest opinion is I'm like, my God, like, I know how reality TV can work sometimes.
They've painted her as a murderer that she could possibly do it.
What if she didn't?
And she has to walk the streets knowing everybody thinks she murdered.
to her husband. What if what if she has grieved this loss or like I just don't know if she did that's a whole other story but I'm saying the what if she didn't and you're known in the world for being a murderer. I feel sad for her. What did you think about the she was very nice? What did you think about the family putting out the commercial in certain areas saying that they would pay a hundred thousand dollars if someone came forward on dancing with the stars. You didn't know about this? Yeah the family of the husband who is still has yet to be found.
or any trace or evidences to be found,
they bought a commercial spot
for Dancing with the Stars,
and they put out a $100,000 reward.
That's psycho.
Well, you know what?
I hope...
It's not...
Why do you think that's psycho?
See, I think that means,
like, they just want to find out
where their son and brother is.
Oh, it was the family.
It was the family.
I mean, that's very fair.
I mean, it was very pointed.
Ah, God, it's just so messed up.
Oh, what a...
2020, man.
She's gone, though.
You know what?
RIP to the dance floor, because Carol Baskin killed it.
By the way, we found out the other day that we're in this little 850 square foot place,
and Carol Baskin had like the penthouse.
Oh, I know!
Because she's probably like, you know what?
If I'm going to put myself back on TV after what I've been through, I better live large.
Do you know the other thing?
I was eaves dropping a little bit.
Oh.
The way that you could find the way, I was like, how would they even know that?
apparently actually this question for you apparently there's like a little apartment in this apartment
thing there's like a little facebook for the apartment oh boy you know what i'm saying yeah and she had like
her picture up there because one of the guys was like i heard him saying like yeah i saw her on this
apartment thing and i knew a unit when she was in and she's in the biggest unit in the whole place
and i'm thinking what the fuck her in a closet we're not in a closet this is actually quite a nice
space for it's really nice okay i'm going to end this podcast with two things
One, I want to genuinely thank everybody that votes and watches.
And I am like flabbergasted at the kindness that I have felt during the show.
You should.
It's amazing.
I'm, I really was preparing myself mentally for the worst.
I would see my therapist to be like, what, how do I, you know, handle the hate?
And I have been just beside myself with the amount of kindness that I have received during this show.
so I mean obviously the vinos that are listening are like well duh and I'm like I just I just love
you honestly every bit of support that you have received you deserve every bit of it
you have gone out there every day and worked so damn hard when your ankle you called me that
Monday morning crying saying I'm not going to be able to perform tonight and found a way to do it
and through all this adversity you continue to fight and you do it with a smile on your face
and you are coming out every night.
Like, I can't even imagine what the pressure's like when you cut.
Like, I can't imagine the nerves.
My nerves, my heart's coming out of my chest watching you.
I've been on national television.
I've been on live national television.
I know how just nerve-wracking it is sitting in a chair being yourself.
I can't imagine how hard it is being in front of like three professional judges
and seven plus million people watching every move you make,
every bit of support that you have earned.
You deserve.
and all of us in every single person your supporters your mother your family your father everyone
is so so proud of you and everyone should be and you should feel that love god thank god i'm
dedicating this dance to you because you deserve it no i've and i've had a i'm on a you guys
it's rare than a podcast in an off night where i'm in a bad mood i feel like i'm in like a little
edgy mood tonight oh my god thank god i just it's rare i'm just like a yeah mood
Sunday scaries. I'm just like, I don't know. I'm just like, you know, Sunday scary. I'm just thinking
about all you guys. You know what I mean? We all have. Everyone has like off days. I mean, I have
off days like five out of seven days a week. And I'm PMSing right now. So we know, I was like trying
not to cry. Can we end this on a good note? Are four or no? We just ended us on a great note.
No, I know. But I said there's two things I wanted to end on. And my other one was thanking you.
Oh, before you, I would love the thank. But before you do, can I just bring up something that's near and dear to my heart?
Sure. Would you consider your sense?
Bill's Mafia?
Yes.
Do you know we're four or no?
Yes.
Of course I know that.
Who's the number one Bill's player right now?
James McCoy.
His name is Josh Allen.
Josh Allen.
He's a quarterback.
Yeah.
He, Josh Allen and his girlfriend watched The Bachelor.
Okay.
So we're going to go party with him one of these nights.
Him and his girlfriend.
Okay.
Double date.
And I just need to hear Buffalo, those small portion of Buffalo fans out there that are
listening to this podcast.
I need to hear it from you that you could.
couldn't be more excited that the bills are right here, right now, four and no, leading
the NFL.
So stoked.
Come on.
Give me some,
give me something.
Eh.
No,
I am.
I'm really happy for you guys.
And all buffaloons.
And all of the buffaloons.
And the fact that Cody from Big Brother live didn't know that Buffaloans or New Yorkers or
Floridians was a thing is the funniest thing ever.
Okay.
But anyways,
I'm so.
I'm glad I got to dedicate a dance to you.
You are one of the most supportive people in my life.
I'm so lucky for you and my family and my friends
who have just been nothing but like the best to me
because otherwise this experience wouldn't be as enjoyable.
And I think that's why the timing was right this time
and it makes me appreciate everything so much more.
That's awesome.
And I can speak for your friends and your family
and the dogs and I saying we are just no matter what happens.
No matter what happens, we are so freaking proud of you.
And every Monday night, you make our day because Mondays aren't the best days sometimes.
And it's a weird time in the world, but you literally are putting a smile on our face.
And we are so excited to see you so happy.
I would put my hand in human shit for you any day.
I'm Caitlin Briscoe.
I'll see you next to you.
Thanks for listening to Oscar Vine with Caitlin Briscoe.
