Podcast One presents Off The Vine with Caitlin Bristow.
Caitlin is creating a space where girls and gents can feel empowered to be themselves.
Get ready for lots of laughs, tabby topics, unfiltered advice, and wine.
Lots of wine.
Get ready to shake things up.
Here's Caitlin.
All right, welcome to Off the Vine.
I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow.
Flying solo today, also flying extremely hung over.
because the champagne was flowing last night for the live premiere of The Bachelor.
I'm a bit of a mess today.
I can't stop coughing.
I already spilled coffee all over myself.
I actually can't believe they asked me to go live in the first place for a few reasons.
One, because I'm a hot mess.
Two, because I'll say whatever I'm thinking.
And three, I thought I was done.
I thought I was old news.
But here we go.
I'm going to have Blake and Jason call in pretty soon here and talk about their opinions on night
how they felt about being on live TV,
who they think's compatible for their boy, Colton.
And then I'm going to take a few calls from listeners to answer some questions.
So I still have been able to actually watch the full episode,
but I'm obsessed with a sloth.
I got a lot of tweets about how Canadian Caitlin looks like me,
which is wild, because I actually see it.
I think Colton's going to be a great bachelor.
I threw out some chirps before I know that.
I didn't mean to throw Colton shade about him being the bachelor,
but I always thought it should have been Jason, but I take it back.
I take it all back.
I'm glad Jason isn't The Bachelor.
And I think Colton deserves this chance.
He can maybe find his girl.
I mean, does it concern me at all that they're super young, including him?
Yes, but that's only from personal experience knowing I had absolutely no clue who I was at that age.
That doesn't mean these girls don't, but it's just my opinion.
My podcast, my opinion.
So I'm allowed.
Doing a live show is really fun.
Mixed reviews, which is going to happen when.
when the internet is involved.
I think one lady told me to like shut my big mouth a couple times actually.
So, you know, just another day on the internet.
Two hours of Bachelor is already such a time commitment, but three hours was aggressive
last night.
Anyways, let's have Blake and Jason from last season call in, see how it went for them,
and what they're up to right now.
Hi.
Hi, Caitlin.
How are you?
I'm good.
How are you guys?
Good.
This is Blake.
We're kind of, we're changing as we speak.
Oh, my gosh, you guys are naked right now?
You know, we might be changing together.
So what of it?
I am looking at Blake in his boxers right now.
Picks or it didn't happen.
That's funny.
Where are you guys right now?
We are in L.A.
We're doing some media today.
So we're just running around.
We literally just touched down here.
We're getting, we're changing and running out the door.
but we wanted to call in and say hello.
Well, I appreciate it.
And, Blake, how nervous were you last night on live television?
I mean, so the weird thing is that was actually my third thing on live television
because I did the after final rows where I brought off the horse.
I ended the after the final rose meeting Becca after the season.
And then that was actually my third time.
And you're still shitting your pants.
Yeah, still hella nervous.
Oh, I'll tell you a lot, too.
I had to loosen them up.
We threw a little M&M, lose yourself on.
Yeah, we were.
Once I got that going, Blake was back in Blake mode, and it was great.
Sometimes you just need to throw in a little gangster wrap and get on with your day.
Amen, of course.
Well, how do you do?
Jason, I feel like you'd make a really good, like a game show host.
Like, you know those cheesy game show hosts, like, for like, the love connections?
I feel like you'd be really good at that.
Yeah, you know, I kind of say, I had a lot of fun with it.
I was a little nervous at first, but then, like, you know, they did the mic came out.
And I kind of whispered to Blake actually,
I said, like, how cool
is this? Think about, like, where we were a year ago
and, like, how much fun this is.
So I was like, you know what? I'm just going to have a great time
doing it. And, you know,
it was great. It was fun time.
Would you say that you're happy you weren't The Bachelor?
You know,
Caitlin, I think that, you know,
once one chapter closes, a new
one opens, and because
of that, I would say I'm thrilled
I'm thrilled
I might be thrilled as well
what do people say about your hair
I feel like people always had opinions on your hair
and now you've got the new do
what did the internet say about Jason's hair
so good things
it's all good things you know a lot of mixed
feedback some people say bring me
bring the flow back
some people say the new look sharp
but at the end of the day
you know mom likes the new hair
and mom's got a lot of say
yeah moms matter and thinking back to your guys's season and your night one what time did your guys's
rose ceremony end like was it light out for you guys yeah so it was um it was probably so here's the thing
they told us to be ready we were in to be ready around like 545 yeah and then we um i remember
getting back to the hotel room back to the hotel room around 9 a m yeah and then because of that
i actually i don't think i could sleep until like 12 because your adrenaline's just
Yeah, the adrenaline.
Blake, if you do go on Paradise, which I'm going to put all my money on that you do,
was there anyone that stood out to you last night that you'd want to see in Paradise?
You know, I go back and talk about Paradise because I do want to see more of this season,
but I'll admit those are some, I mean, those women are gorgeous.
They're young, but honestly, that doesn't scare me as much.
I mean, to me, age really is just a number.
I know a lot of 30-year-olds are actually like they're 21 and 21-year-olds direct like they're 30, you know?
so yeah but yeah there's some gorgeous women um i just got to see how the season plays out
okay that's fair that's fair um what what were you going to say
no nothing i was like that was a pretty political answer right there you like that oh yeah i know
that really was i was looking for more juice than that but anyways i'm going to be seeing you
both in uh in colorado this weekend uh jason are you finally going to ask me on a date
You're making me blush over here, Caitlin.
I mean, if we're going to be in the same city at the same time,
I see no reason why we shouldn't go to dinner and grab drinks.
What do you think?
Okay, I've been.
Imagine I said no on my podcast.
I just shut you down.
Wait a second.
That was such a nonchalant I'm in.
Are you in or no?
Oh, I'm all in.
We're going on a date.
You heard it here first.
My heart's right here.
My feet per minute.
are off the chain and it sounds like you're it so let's do it we'll leave it at that maybe we'll
do a podcast after and let everyone know how it went all right hopefully does well my fingers
across i'm going to say it later tonight don't don't f*** it up i'm just kidding okay thanks
you guys for calling in i'll let you go um and have a good day i'll tell you what i'm going to be
there to watch this date go down so um yeah i'm going to sort of wheel that i'll be at the other
the other table watching you guys
We'll let Blake do the interview after for the podcast.
There we go.
I'll do the ITMs after.
Perfect.
Okay.
Okay, guys.
Thank you.
Thanks, Caitlin.

Now back to Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow.
All right.
Well, that was fun.
And now we're going to take some calls for listeners, maybe see how people felt about last
night's episode.
They probably have opinions, questions for me, whatever you guys want to talk about.
I'm taking calls now.
Can't wait to talk to you.
Hello, Aaron.
Hey, Caitlin.
Hey, how's it going?
It is going good.
How are you?
I'm good, thanks.
What did you call it?
Did you have a question for me?
Are we talking bachelor talk?
What do you got for me?
Well, I didn't finish the bachelor last night.
I had to go to bed.
Three hours is quite long.
Yeah, I hear you.
But I just wanted to know if we will be seeing you more throughout this season.
Do you think?
Or?
Well, I don't think so.
Unless they do more live viewing parties like that, I'm all in.
But that's all I know of is from last night.
That was it.
And I don't know if my dolphin sex joke,
blew it for me and they won't have me back but we'll find out no your dolphin joke was great and i wanted
to say that i last night when i was like obviously lurking on twitter during it but i was like i oh my gosh
i'm like i hate that she has to defend this like you know like obviously i'm pop of colton like
i mean you're not somebody i know i always have to defend myself but that's i'm starting to get
used to it um but you know it's i said something earlier in the podcast i said you know i did get
like some some heat for saying that about Colton and I understand the whole double standard
thing but it's also my sense of humor so I won't apologize for my sense of humor but I will
apologize if I offended anyone right and you're a comic girl own it I mean yeah so all right
well yeah it was so much fun seeing you last night you look absolutely stunning oh thank you so much
yeah so I just I hope that we continue to see you throughout you know the bachelor franchise
and the events that they have going on
I appreciate you. Thanks for calling in.
Thanks so much.
Okay, bye. Hi, Heather. How's it going?
It's gone pretty good. I'm pretty excited. I've never been on. I never get phone calls.
Oh, well, here you go. You're on off the vine.
I am. This is so exciting.
What's going on? Did you watch the show last night?
Oh, yes, I did. And the snark was flowing. There was a lot to snark about, I felt.
Yes, yes. What was your favorite part?
I kind of liked all, like I wasn't a huge fan of doing the, um, the prolonged live show sort of thing.
Yeah, yeah.
But I did really like all of the little proposals.
I got really teary-eyed.
I thought, I felt they were really genuine.
Yeah, I agree.
And like the Chris Harrison tribute really got to me.
Oh my gosh.
That was the sweetest.
And especially, I feel like I know him so much better from your podcast.
Yes.
Like, not to me more than I think it would have.
that's so true yeah that's what i really liked about um for interviewing him it was one of my like most
downloaded interviews because i think people usually just get to see tv chris harrison and do his
little hand gestures and say it's the final rose but he's actually such an interesting smart
well-spoken hilarious guy and i was just so happy to be able to like share that side of him
yes he really he impressed me so much i kind of like just had that stereotypical view of like oh who's
this smarty guy that's been around all these young ladies for forever and he's not like that at
And that was so cool to get to see through your podcast.
That's awesome.
Yeah, I talked to his mom for a bit last night.
She said she loved listening to that, be able to hear that side of him too.
Because, again, like, you just get the host, Chris, all the time.
So it was fun to be the host and actually talk to him.
Who is your favorite from last night?
Oh, I kind of, well, Hannah kind of reminds me of one of my husband's best friend's fiancée.
So I'm a big Hannah G-fan.
She seems so sweet and she seemed like so sincere.
And also, of course, got to love Demi.
She's such a spitfire, and I feel like she's going to give us a lot of good TV this season.
Thank you for saying that, because people always want to hate on those people,
but you've got to take them for what they are and appreciate her spitfire and be like,
wow, this is going to be some great TV, let's go.
Yes, it's been awesome.
Also, hot take.
I kind of feel like she might have framed her mom for embezzlement.
I just got that vibe.
Really?
Yes.
I think I created a more interesting narrative from my head.
that is so funny i'm going to take that with me and i'm going to maybe uh look into this a little further
oh please do let me know i love that you said hot take oh hot take um well that's so funny
any other opinions you want to talk about um i did want to i kind of wondered and i know i'm
like people over talking about colton's virginity a little bit but i do want to know how far do you think
keeps on. I don't know, but I definitely, I definitely think he's going to lose his virginity. And I think
that's why they're talking about it so much. And that's why they're hyping it up so much,
because I think it's going to be a big part of the season. I hope he does. I feel like it's just
got to go, you know? Yeah, it's time. It's time. Yeah, it's time. That's so funny. Well,
thank you so much for calling in. I'm so glad I got to talk to you. Yeah, it's so great talking to you
too. Okay, have a good day. All right. You too.
Bye.
Hello.
How are you?
Hi, Olivia.
I'm good.
How are you?
Oh, my gosh.
I can't believe.
I'm walking to you.
I have loved you since, like, day one.
Oh, my gosh.
Thank you.
That's so sweet of you.
That's funny because now you're on the podcast.
You're a guest on an awesome.
Oh, my gosh.
I know.
When I saw your season, I was like, oh, my God.
I know.
I mean, I liked Britain and everything, but I really wanted it to be you.
Okay.
Okay.
So, um, so Catherine, can we talk about how she's all
if she makes the Miami Real House Life, like...
She totally is.
That's a...
She would make a great housewife.
She is.
I mean, she has so much work done already, and she's so young already.
I just feel so bad for her.
I'm like, honey, slow it down.
But maybe she's living her best life.
Like, maybe this is the life that she wants, and she's just living it.
Yeah, I know.
No judgment, but it's just, it's going to be rough later on.
I wonder how long she will last.
Yeah, I know.
I don't think she's going to last very long because she seems like she's setting up to be the villain.
I don't know.
That's how the producers are setting her up.
Yeah, but the villains always last longer than they should.
It is true, true.
And I heard from the other caller, y'all are talking about Colton and his virginity.
I definitely think he is just technically a virgin in the technical sense of the word.
Like, I can just tell, like, you know.
What do you mean?
Wait, what do you mean?
He's definitely had a few blow jobs.
I mean, you can just tell, like.
You know, like, he just has that vibe of, yeah, I get a lot of head.
He gives off blowjob vibes.
Like, he's definitely got a couple in his life.
Totally.
Well, okay, so from what he's insinuated from his life, he grew up in a very Christian, religious,
how cold, and I have two.
And he seemed like the classic, like, douchebag youth group boy that I grew up with where they profess, like, oh, yeah, I love Jesus and everything.
And I'm a virgin.
And I'm going to save myself for marriage.
But they totally, like, get all the blow jobs and manipulate the shit out of girls.
So no, he's not innocent.
Oh, no.
See, they don't make them like that in Alberta, Canada.
They're good ones over there.
So I don't know what those guys are like.
yeah well that's just my experience i can totally tell he's exactly like that i don't know you know what
everyone can have different opinions and that's that's what makes the show interesting so
yeah whatever oh that's awesome thank you for calling in yeah thanks so much for talking
bye okay bye hi i just wanted to know seeing last night's episode obviously there's so many different
entrances on the first night do you have one you remember the most from your season um like from
when i was the bachelorette yeah um i think my favorite limo entrance was the i actually sent him
home night one i think but he had my favorite entrance he was a canadian guy his name was sean and
he drove in in a hot tub car and he was just like so uncomfortable and like in a full suit sitting in a
hot tub and the hot tub was a car do you remember that they they seem to stick out the most
unique ones yeah i like the unique ones he was like driving up and there's like water spilling
everywhere out of the car it was hilarious and then my other favorite one was uh chris stramburg
when he pulled up in a cupcake car so apparently i like a funny comical cars oh i definitely
remember that one yeah so funny what was your name again tally
Haley. Okay. Thank you so much for calling in. Hi, Caitlin. Hi. How's it going? What's your name?
My name's Alex. Oh, my God. I'm such a big fan. I love you so much.
Oh, thank you. I love you too.
I just wanted to ask you if you knew Caitlin from this season. She looks just like you and she's from Canada.
And it's so crazy because you have the same personality. Yeah.
Yeah. I was laughing about that because someone sent me a screenshot and I actually thought they like
meshed our face together.
Like I thought they had some sort of app that made my face like on hers, but it actually
was just her.
And so no, I don't think I know her, but I think we have some mutual friends from working
at the same restaurant.
But I'm definitely going to reach out and maybe make a new friend.
Oh my God.
You totally should.
You should hang out with her.
Yeah.
Well, she's in Toronto and I'm in Nashville.
So, I mean, we are close.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's true.
There you go.
Okay.
Well, thank you for calling in.
Yeah, of course. Bye.
Okay, bye.
True TV has announced the season two premiere date for its highly anticipated and completely unapologetic comedy series, I'm Sorry, from creator and writer Andrea Savage, hailed by critics as brazenly funny and razor sharp.
The scripted series follows seemingly confident and together comedy writer, wife and mom Andrea, played by Savage, who comically exposes her inner maturity and neurosis as life throws situations no one could have prepared for.
This season, Andrea lands herself in new cringe-worthy scenarios, as she questions her theoretical market value as a prostitute, learns the downsides of having a child that can read and discovers that comedy bits can sometimes go too far.
Through it all, she is joined by her husband, Mike, Tom Everett Scott, their inquisitive daughter, Amelia, who's played by Olive Petucci, and her divorced parents, Kathy Baker, and Martin Mall.
Joining the cast in guest-starring roles for the series' second season are Adam Scott, Lenin Parham, June, June.
Diane Raphael, Scott
Ackerman, Rob Heuble,
Anne Ramsey, Kurt Bronler,
Rose McGiver, Brian Steppenick,
and Rich Eisen.
Returning guest stars include Jason Manzuka's,

I'm sorry, is executive produced
by Savage Joey Slaman,
A-24's Ravi Nanden,
