Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story. Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge, there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice. And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am. It's not just any audiobook. This is a full cast performance. So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry, brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
Starting point is 00:00:25 And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads sing is Mr. Darcy. And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything. Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix. Talk about a dream cast. Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics, and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy. And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
Starting point is 00:00:58 So whether it's your first time experiencing Pride and Prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again. So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash Jane Austen. get ready for lots of laughs tabby topics on filtered advice and wine lots of wine get ready to shake things up here's katelyn welcome to off the vine i'm your host katelyn bristow so excited for today's episode with dancing queen tic-tok kelly i know you've probably heard of her if you don't follow her you need to you've definitely seen her super catchy fun vibrant amazingly edited videos that constantly go viral on TikTok and IG. Her Instagram is at Keladactyl, which I get to the bottom to. And her TikTok is at Happy Kelly. And they are both filled with so much feel good content that you just need to follow her.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Her husband Freeman is her right hand man who helps come up with lots of the ideas, does a lot of the editing. So he's here to help us get some inside scoop on how he makes these amazing vids that so many of you had questions about. And P.S., my sources tell me that she danced behind Britney Spears in a commercial, and I may have asked for what Brittany Spears smells like, because I'm a fan girl. I can't wait to ask a million more questions, so let's get this started and meet Kelly and her husband Freeman. I hope you enjoy. How cute are you guys sharing your little headset? That's so cute. How are you guys? We're good. How are you? So good. Thank you for joining me today. I just get, do you, do you want me to send you an extra head?
Starting point is 00:02:55 head set or a splitter or something. We just need to buy one. I'm just kidding. I actually think it's quite cute. Thank you so much for coming on the podcast. I have obviously an infatuation because I'm obsessed with anything dance related. And do you guys, have you guys, have you guys ever done an interview or podcast? I'm sure you have.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Not together. No, not really. We have smaller ones in the past, but not recently, not within the last month. Because I was like, I always see you dancing, but I never get to hear you talk. So I have so many questions for you. where are you guys right now? We're in L.A. You are. Okay, that's where you live permanently. Mm-hmm. And how did the two of you meet? So we met on, we matched on a dating app, actually. Uh-huh. And do you want to, do you want to go from there? Sure. Yeah. So we matched. I was living in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Kelly was dancing in New York. Yeah. But we had matched because we had like our settings set to limited or whatever. And I happened to visit a friend.
Starting point is 00:03:55 in New York one weekend that was for my birthday weekend, we did like a little trip out to visit him and told Kelly that I was in town. So we met up on my birthday in Times Square and Kelly fell in love. And Kelly was the one that fell that night. That's so cute. How long have you guys been together? Three years almost? Not very long. Just over three years. Yeah. No, three is a good amount of time. I feel like I've been with my boyfriend for two years now and I feel like two years is where you're like, wow, we really know each other. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Yeah. So three, and you guys are still looking at each other cutely. So that's a good sign. So my understanding is that long before you're insanely cool TikTok videos, you guys, we are acting, several shows, including Hairspray Live, Glee, you're on Broadway and a ton of commercials. Are you still acting? Yeah. So I am still dancing, mostly dancing, a little bit of acting.
Starting point is 00:04:49 But just since the pandemic hit, everything shut down, Hollywood shut down. And so I kind of pivoted because I had nothing else to do. But yes, I'm still pursuing all of that. But it's still kind of slow as things are starting to pick back up. Yeah. Well, I feel like everybody is kind of feeling like the slow thing. But TikTok is not slow right now. So you're in the right industry.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Yes, very busy. It keeps me busy. Yeah. Was there something like that you notice in your pivotal time with a breakthrough role that like, actually maybe it could be before this? Like what was your breakthrough role that that you were like, wow, that I really did it? I think definitely when I joined the cast of Wicked, that was huge just because, I mean, I'm a little dancer from Washington State and, you know, I was auditioning in L.A. And I had been working on different jobs and things. But to be cast in a production so huge was really exciting. It was not, it wasn't even really a dream of mine because I didn't realize I could be part of something like that. Which is kind of crazy. So like a dream I didn't know I had. And so when I first joined, I joined the touring company. And so I toured.
Starting point is 00:05:51 all over the U.S. with the touring cast. And that was really, really huge for me to, like, have this, like, to be part of something so exciting and big. I was just listening to the Wicked soundtrack, like, four days ago. I'm obsessed. I'm obsessed with anything, like, musical song and dance. But, okay, before we dive into everything about TikTok and everything that you've got going on, I have to ask because I'm such a huge fan, but you danced for Britney Spears.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Yes, kind of. Yes, I did. I danced behind Britney Spears. Oh my God. What did she smell like? I love her so much. She was great. Yeah, it was a Twister dance commercial.
Starting point is 00:06:30 It was like a kids game toy commercial. And she was like super. It was one of my first big jobs in L.A. And so that was super exciting too because it was, you know, right when I was starting out. But yeah, she was super great. She like introduced herself to us and was like so kind. And yeah, she was, I mean, dancing behind her was obviously a dream as well. She's amazing.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Because it's Britney Spears. Oh my gosh, I love her. You were obviously, were you a fan when you got to dance with her? Yeah. That's what besides Brittany, who are some other incredible, like big people that you had the opportunity to work with? I saw the Derek Huff thing, which I don't know if you know, but I was on Dancing with the Stars and Derek was my favorite judge and he's so incredible. And you guys, well, because, okay, are you guys married or dating? We're married. Married.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Okay. And so I saw you obviously dancing with Derek Huff. How did that come about? Yeah. So when I was in Hairspray Live, Derek Huff was one of, he was Corny Collins in the show. And so we kind of stayed in contact and he just reached out after he found me on TikTok, I think, one day. And he was like, let's collaborate. And I was like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:34 And so we went over to his house and made a few videos. It was way fun. He's so creative. And Freeman, you're so creative. And you're the one behind the scenes that does all of the, do you do the editing and the filming and the everything that goes on to make these. pick of TikToks. Yeah, exactly. So when the pandemic hit, I have a little bit of background in videography. I worked as like a student sports videographer at my undergrad. So I kind of knew how to edit a little bit. And when Kelly wasn't doing anything, and I was bored because I'm in law school now
Starting point is 00:08:07 and school was all remote, I had a little extra time. Like, let's just start making videos. And yeah, so most of the creative concepts I come up with because I have the editing mind, I guess. But Kelly also comes up with a lot of creative concepts and has really good input and stuff like that. I feel like that goes hand in hand. When you're a good dancer, I feel like you're just naturally creative in so many ways. And that's so cool that you have the background with doing stuff with video because like, how?
Starting point is 00:08:35 Every time I watch, I'm just like, how the hell? Because, okay, they're one minute like TikToks, but how much work goes into making those one minute stand out the way they do? Yeah. I mean, it's definitely, it depends on the video how long, like the prep or the editing takes. And we've definitely gotten faster at it because we used to have like a super old laptop that we would edit on or he would edit on. And we finally got a computer, desktop. Like we're moving up in the world. It's really exciting. That's level up. Level up. Yeah, we're leveling up finally. But, but yeah, I mean, how long would you say it takes for a video? It depends. It's part. Because a lot goes into it as I'm sure you know, like the choreography, Kelly takes care of all of the. Unless it's a dance trend, that's already a trend. Then I have to learn it, you know, things like that. Probably from idea to completion, probably like six hours of work at least.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Wow. It depends. It varies. And sometimes I'm working on multiple projects at a time. And you're in law school? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm spending more time doing this than law school.

Starting point is 00:10:15 You're listening to you. off the vine with Caitlin Bristow. I just keep picturing, you know, there's always like bloopers or when I do a TikTok, like the behind the scenes is probably so much funnier than what it actually turns out to be because I try so hard and then I'll like screw up and be like, damn it, Caitlin, and then I have to start over. I just picture you in like the middle of the road in like New York City or L.A. and like traffic stopping and you like blowing it mid, me like, damn it, got to wait for the next red light. Has that happened? Definitely. I mean, when I'm
Starting point is 00:10:47 on the spot i definitely get nervous at times and when we're out in public too obviously distanced away from everyone yeah and people stop and watch and i i i panic too and so we're like oh we got to wait for the next light or the next time you know the traffic stops um so it's yeah and now kelly's gotten like we're no by me by no means like famous or celebrities or anything like that but she started yeah you are you're like some big stuff okay go on stay humble but she's starting like getting recognized when we're filming because we film in like recognizable place and she has like a very recognizable look yeah um so it's always awkward when like people see her and they just stop to watch for like 10 minutes and it's just like sneaking at their phone but not wanting like i don't know it's just weird like
Starting point is 00:11:32 are you like don't steal my content this is my time that's so wild and you like the color switches and everything that's going on in your videos if anyone's listening and hasn't seen them stop everything and go watch how do you switch you outfits or is that editing tricks or what is this a secret that i'm not allowed to know about tell me no it's not a secret no no at first when we first started making videos we did a lot of like where i would change my outfit and we would do match cuts um and it was a lot of outfit changing and it was kind of annoying because my yeah the room would just be a mess every time after we finish filming but then we realized part way through that i have this green jumpsuit that i was started
Starting point is 00:12:12 wearing in videos and because it's green it works like a green screen and so we're able to like seamlessly change the colors. So it looks like it's a bunch of jumpsuits, but it's actually just a green screen. Wow. Yeah. That's freaking wild. I always laugh thinking about technology because I remember getting a flip phone
Starting point is 00:12:32 when it was like and it had a blue light. And I thought that was so cool. It was like this flip foam with a blue light. And I was like, I am so cool. And then they got a color screen and I go, how in the world could it get better than this? it's a colored screen and now you can like do anything on this phone and create these videos and use your jumper as a green screen like I'm it's just mind blowing it's so wild where like
Starting point is 00:12:58 is TikTok your favorite platform yeah definitely I love TikTok so much because I was I was first like kind of a hater of it like I didn't understand I didn't know what it was all about I think kind of everyone was like that yeah yeah I was like oh like yeah but it's super fun because you get to see like there's so much opportunity for anyone anywhere in the world to for their stuff to be seen um nowhere can you just post a video like we did one day with 12 followers and overnight it's got over 200 000 views and you know keeps growing and that just doesn't happen anywhere else and so it's really exciting that TikTok you have that possibility especially when you're so creative and so good at what you do i always thought i was a creative person until i got on TikTok and i was like oh no i'm just
Starting point is 00:13:42 actually super lazy. Like I couldn't ever do all this stuff. It's so incredible because these people, like there's so many people on TikTok, they're so wildly talented. And then people like Freeman, who are just so wildly talented at the editing and doing all that on top of it. And then you two together. I'm like, you are this TikTok power couple here. I love it. Where's the weirdest place you've ever done on TikTok? Oh, that's a good question. We kind of have our like go-to places that we go often. I'm trying to think. I mean, probably the middle of the road was a wild one. Yeah. Yeah. In Hollywood, there's like a four-way stop where like you can cross diagonally or whatever. So going and filming there is probably the craziest and cars always honk at you because they're like, I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Yeah. Everyone's always like, what are you doing in the street? But I'm like, it's a four-way stop. Like, don't worry. We watch the lights. That's probably the craziest. But luckily that spot, so we go to Hollywood and Highland, and it's like the middle of the walk of fame. So you're never the biggest spectacle on Hollywood and Highland. So luckily, there's like a lot of other distractions. Take other people's attention, yeah. Have you ever ended up on influencers in the wild? Not that I know of. Not yet. I'm nervous. I just picture because, you know, people always in the streets do it. But I feel like that would be good for you because it's a good platform and people would be like, well, shit, she's really good at dancing. So where do I find her? So let's try and
Starting point is 00:15:08 get you on that we'll like fake it you go out in the middle of street and do it and I'll like send it and be like look at this girl huh yeah jokes on them it like helps you so much yeah we planned it I guess we also filmed in the grocery store once I like did the worm down the aisle I saw that that was I was very nervous I you I don't know maybe not maybe watching our videos you don't think I get nervous or maybe you do I wouldn't I get nervous I'm surprised by that actually because I I just I'm a weirdo and I feel like I would do that on a Tuesday. So the fact that you get nervous doing it when you're so good, that's so funny to me. Are you more of an introvert? I would say so. It depends on the setting. Like I don't like
Starting point is 00:15:49 being a sudden retention. I don't like, yeah, I don't like the attention. So yeah. But then if I'm like with my close friends, then I'll get wild and silly. Yeah. I'm the same way. I always call myself an extroverted introvert because I'm the same way. I can go both ways. Is it okay, the camera work. Is this something special? Are you doing it from your iPhone? Or do you have a different system that I'm not aware of? Yeah. So you're probably talking about like the face tracking, like how it follows her face as she's dancing, right? So that's actually in an editing software on our computer. But yeah, it's just through that. It's actually much more simple than you'd think, but that's after you film the video? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And while you film it.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Well, that's what I was like, is there some little, adjustment or like attachment that you put on that like follows because i know what is that one camera called where you can like plug it into your phone and it has a little thing that actually will follow your face i'll i'll tell you about it later i'll show you to the latest technology a lot of people think that i'm just like doing the dance with her and like following her but that's not the case unfortunately i'm not that coordinated yeah i feel like then you'd really be on influencers in the water because that would be super entertaining um okay and then i feel like a creep because i know everything but tell me about your tell me about how you come up with well okay now do you
Starting point is 00:17:14 use the jumper all the time now not all the time we probably use it more often than we should people are probably sick of it um no but i just love it it looks it's fun it's unique i think and it's cute yeah it it is really cute no i feel like it's almost become like a staple like it should be your staple suit where it's like your green screen suit. Yeah, totally. Yeah. I mean, people are, people are always like, you need more clothes. I'm like, I'm making videos every day. I can only have so many outfits. You're like, let's talk about this for a second. We put six hours into this one minute video. Okay, I don't have time for outfit changes anymore. Yeah. That's, if you have the technology to switch your outfit color, use it. Yeah. That's, okay, also very interesting and important question.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Crocs. Okay. I love it because Justin Bieber, was a big crock guy and I'm a big Justin Bieber guy, but what, what is the deal behind the crox for you? So honestly, okay, so I was able to be in a crox commercial like, I don't know, five years ago, four years ago. And I was, I wasn't a huge crox fan, but I was in this commercial with Drew Barry Moore and it was for Crocs. And I was like, and I wore the crocs and I was like, holy moly, these are so comfortable. They're life changing. And as a dancer, I have like a lot of foot issues, foot injuries all the time. And Crocs literally the only thing that ever make my feet feel good.
Starting point is 00:18:33 And so I just jumped right in. I was like, I am a Crox girl wearing my crocs with no shame because they feel amazing. And for anyone that hasn't tried them, like you've got to because they're so comfortable. Well, and if you look at the style just that's happening in our time, it's comfort is key. And it's like sometimes it doesn't even matter what you look like anymore. comfy can be considered chic so crocs fall into that category of being comfortable so there you go throw them on with a sweatsuit and you look trendy a f yep don't be shy they're good no i'm i'm i'm into it i actually remember it was like months ago now my girlfriend said she ordered crocs do you know um ariel
Starting point is 00:19:17 vanderberg is yes okay so she we were going to get crocs with each other's faces on them and crocs had like reached out and said they were going to do it for us so this is me holding them accountable because we never got them and I'm like I want crocs with her face on them so badly that would be amazing wow off the vine with Caitlin bristow this is just so rude of me to put you on the spot like this but can we do a TikTok together yes I would love to okay great I don't know how we're going to make this work but we'll make it work sometime I come to L.A. for well I used to come all the time before this pandemic but I feel like I would come there to do a TikTok with you
Starting point is 00:20:05 because look I'm not a great dancer but I'm okay I'm an okay I've seen you dancing on on your TikTok it's good it's okay it's definitely slowed down and then look to speed up and it makes me look like I'm better than I really am but I feel like you could give me like one of your cool little moves I could work on it for like a year or something and then come to LA and then And then by the time the pandemic's done, it'll be a year and we'll be able to, like, hang out in our crocs and do a TikTok.
Starting point is 00:20:33 I would love that. I love that more than anything. Okay. Okay. And then you also do instructional videos. Like, yes. Yes. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:20:41 I would just die for that alone. Like, I would just be so happy doing that. I'm in quarantine right now and I would be very happy. Okay. Now the question is, if we can't do it together, Freeman, do you have the editing skills to just piece us together? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I can do that.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Wait, you really can? we have a green screen we have a green screen we could it wouldn't look great direction on like we could do match cards we can do something creative we'll talk about it yeah okay that'll be cool don't don't get don't get don't get too excited no let's do it
Starting point is 00:21:12 no let's get it okay because you know I just held Crocs accountable and I'll do it to you too every podcast I obviously make my guests confess something to me I guess you can go first, Kelly. Okay. Okay. So I would say my confession is that I had this weird fear of ladybugs.
Starting point is 00:21:40 Okay. Most people think ladybugs are really cute, but for some reason, they just freak me out something about the red with black dots. And then when they land on you, they're just kind of creepy and sometimes they pee on you. And that is just weird. I do not want to see an insects pee. They just really freak me out. It's just like this weird a version. I don't really know.
Starting point is 00:22:07 That's a great confession. Yeah. That's so funny. Okay, Freeman, you're up. Okay, so my confession is a little different. I'll just tell you about probably my worst moment. Perfect. So Kelly and I, we mentioned a little bit about how Kelly and I met.
Starting point is 00:22:24 I had flown into New York and we met one night. And that night I went back to the hotel with all my friends and they're like, dude, you got to ask her out to brunch. And I'm like, okay, because I guess the New York thing to do is brunch. I don't know. Oh, is that the thing? I don't know. I'm a West Coast guy. I guess brunch is like a brilliant thing over there.
Starting point is 00:22:42 It's a thing. Okay. So I do. I text her and she's like, yeah, of course. She's like excited. I'm excited. And we said it for what, 1030 or something like? that and I wake up the next morning we'd flowed a red eye the night before had the blackout
Starting point is 00:22:56 curtains drawn and I woke up at 1045 like 15 minutes after I'm supposed to be at the date and I'm all the way down at the end of Manhattan she's like up the west upper west side oh no you were there waiting and I was there waiting and I was early because I'm always early so I've been there for like 30 minutes you punctual little angel that's so cute Kelly is an angel um but But for many reasons, because I ended up being an hour and a half late to our first date, didn't know Kelly. She didn't know me. And she still waited around for me. That's sweet.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Was that par for the course? Like, is he always late? Or was that a one-time thing? No, I think that was a one-time thing. How did you make up for that? Like, when you got there, how did you make up for it? Yeah, I'm still making up. I don't know if I'm out of the dog house quite yet.
Starting point is 00:23:44 Like, she married me, but I don't know. that's so funny because first impressions are obviously everything and you're like I'm going to show her that she has to wait for me I'm maybe an hour late and see if it still works so it did yeah for some reason I was I really wanted to hang out with him so I was like it's okay yeah there's construction at the stop that I was supposed to get off at so I had to get off like three blocks earlier and I hadn't changed I'd slept in the close I hadn't showered and I'm sprinting to this place and I'm just like drenched and sweat and so smelly, but she still had a good enough time, I guess. That must have been a really good brunch. The food was great. The food, the food overcame everything else. That was a good brunch. Then we hung out later that day, and it was great.
Starting point is 00:24:31 That's so cool. Oh, I love, I love those stories. That's a great confession and a great love story at the same time. So thank you for that. Okay, I've got a little rapid fire game for you guys. Okay. Doesn't matter who answers it, but who is one person on your bucket list, want to collaborate for a TikTok with?
Starting point is 00:24:50 Shaquille O'Neal. Jack Black. Oh, I did not see those coming. Okay, Jack Black is hilarious. Are they on TikTok right now? Jack Black is for sure. He is hilarious on TikTok. Oh, good to know.
Starting point is 00:25:04 I kind of, now that you say that, I am getting like a memory of him in a pool doing something. Yeah, on a TikTok. Shaquille O'Neal, tell me more. I don't know if he's on, I was just the first name that came to my mind. I love Shaq. I love it. He's like my favorite celebrity.
Starting point is 00:25:18 I grew up a Lakers fan. Oh, that's awesome. The early 2000s were like very formative years for me. I just love Shaq. That's good. I love it. It came right out and you're very confident with it. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:25:30 What's your favorite TikTok trend at the moment? I love the Rasputin dance. The Rasputin dance. Have you seen the Rasputin dance? I haven't seen it yet. No, Kelly's done it. You should check out her page and you can see it. Okay, I'm going right now.
Starting point is 00:25:43 My favorite trend right now, I think, is the tiny arms. Have you seen that one? I don't know what it's called. I love anything with a tiny arm. What is it? It's like people film from below and their heads like forward and their arms are back and they look like tiny. Oh. That's just what it is.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Okay. Well, I'll look that up. Last rapid fire. Who have you been the most excited to see that followed you or liked one of your videos? Oh. There's a few. I know. There's a few.
Starting point is 00:26:11 Oh, tell me all of them. I was really excited when Reese Witherspoon. I just finished little fires everywhere. I love her. So good. She's a nice. So good. I love her. Wow. That's cool. Yeah. We were also stoked when we saw. So Natasha Beddingfield follows Kelly. And we sing unwritten at our wedding reception. So it was like kind of like we didn't we didn't sing it. We didn't sing it. We danced to it. It was like a very like big like everyone was singing along to the song. Oh how fun. So it's kind of fun to see her follow. Yeah. Wait, that's so fun. Wait, that's so fun. Do you guys have. have a video of that? Maybe. Maybe our videographer does. We have to get the footage. Yeah, because it's all like edited together.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Yeah, I need to see that. Okay, wait, I actually have this one. I really wanted to ask this. When you're not on TikTok, what would we find both of you doing? Scrolling TikTok? Fair. No, I mean, we love going to the beach and just hanging out at the beach. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:13 We also started playing pickleball. Oh, yeah. We started playing pickleball. Okay, my mom. and stepdad are like pickleball champs and they play like in a tournament and they're like so legit. So I've been waiting to visit them. But I really want to get into pickleball. I heard it's amazing. It is fun. I'm not very good at it yet. I'm very uncoordinated when it comes to sports. But I don't believe you. It's no, it's bad. It's really. But I'm working on it. We got our own
Starting point is 00:27:40 paddles now. And so, you know, we're going to practice and it's fun. Yeah. Kelly's super. Kelly's very coordinated when she dances, but it's shocking when she plays sports. You always think a coordinated person would obviously be coordinated at sports, but I get it. I'm not the most coordinated other than, like, if I learn a dance, you could think I'm coordinated, but I'm the same way. Sports is not really my thing. Okay. And then the last game we're playing, before I let you go, the last game is called the last for you each to tell me the answer. Okay, so postmates or whatever delivery app you use, last delivery you got. Might have been Kava.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Kava? I think it was Kava. Do you have a great choice? It's like the Mediterranean like Chipotle, right? Yeah, so good. Yes, we do actually have it. We got, I think it's new in Nashville. Last time you were star-struck. The most star-struck was probably when I saw Schmidt from New Girl.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Oh, I'm telling you. Such a crush on him. Max Smith. Oh, my goodness. I saw him at a restaurant once, and I was so Star Trek. I love Schmidt. He's the most lovable douchebag on TV. He's so great. What about you, Freeman? Mine was when I went to a Lakers game and I was sitting close enough to like see Kobe and like the sweat on his shoulders and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:29:02 He was my hero growing up. So it was like a spiritual experience. It was like a religious experience to see Kobe Brown. It was like an out of body experience. That's so cool that you got that. That's so nice. Okay, last person you danced with. My friend Kasha. We make videos together. Kasha Campbell. Oh, that's fun. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:22 She's a dancer too, obviously. Yeah. Or I guess me and you danced together yesterday. Yeah. So, Freed me and it was Freeman. We danced. Oh, that's fun. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:29 He's trying to get into the TikTok game, so we dance. I love it. I love it. Yeah, I'll see how it goes. That's like Jason when he tries to dance. It's actually not bad at all, but it's fun. Last time you laugh so hard that you ride one time on a plane we watched um central intelligence it's this dwayne the rock johnson and
Starting point is 00:29:49 kevin hart movie oh and something about like the setting and the movie we laugh like the entire time for an hour and a half yeah on this flight and people were probably so annoyed in the flight because we're just like dying laughing at kevin heart and dwayne rock johnson i think that's i love when i hear people laughing so hard on a plane i'm like they're having a great time i have anxiety I'm like, look at them laughing. I need a Xanax. Okay. Okay. And then last Netflix series that you binged. Basically, I'm just looking for new Netflix ideas because I'm out. Call my agent. I don't know if you've seen that. It's a French show. I thought you're like, call my agent. She'll tell you. No, I would never say that. I was like, oh, wow, your agent has some good, uh, uh, so funny. Okay, that's the show. The show, yeah, the show is called Call My Agent. It's a French show, and it's really good.
Starting point is 00:30:44 It's about actors. Okay, but here's the thing with French shows. Do their words match up with their lips, or is it French? And then they have an actor dubbing over. So they have dubbing on Netflix, but we just listen to it in French and read it, which sounds annoying. But it's actually really nice because then you can't be on your phone. You have to, like, be fully invested in the show. And it's a lot better, I think.
Starting point is 00:31:07 No, fun fact. I actually watch all shows with the closed captions on TV, movies, everything, because it makes me more in it. Like, I'm more present in the, so that's a good idea. Okay. Yeah, it's great. I think the French shows are really good, surprising. We're kind of on like this French cinema kick, yeah, which is kind of weird. We're not like, Kelly's never been to France.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Oh, you haven't? No, you must go. It's beautiful. Let's make a TikTok in France. Oh my gosh, you have to. I mean, I know you could just like edit and. an Eiffel Tower, but the real thing is so much better. That's, wait, there's
Starting point is 00:31:42 another French show that my girlfriend told me about. It starts with a P. It's like one of the most watch shows on Netflix. That's French. Is it Lupin? Yeah, that's what it is. Sorry, doesn't start with a P at all. It doesn't have a P in it. Yeah, there's a P in it. Oh, yeah, did you see that?
Starting point is 00:31:59 Yeah, we watched it in like a night or two, maybe two nights. It was so good. Yeah, that was our introduction to the French shows on Netflix, and now we were stuck. That's so funny. We actually got into that one, too. Okay, well, you guys are just such a delight and you're so cute and so entertaining and just keep doing what you're doing because it's working for you, obviously. I'm sure everyone already knows, but where can they find you to watch your dance moves?
Starting point is 00:32:23 They can find me on TikTok at Happy Kelly or on Instagram at Caledactyl. I love that, kilodactyl. Like, how did you come up with that? In high school, I was like a Teradactal fan. and for some reason, I just liked pteradactyl. And so the nickname came about because I like taradactyl. So caledactyl. It works.
Starting point is 00:32:46 It works. I think it's cute. Well, and is there anything else that you guys wanted to share that we didn't touch on? I don't think so. That was great. Thanks for having us. Thank you so much for having us. You're so welcome.
Starting point is 00:32:57 I will keep on you about us doing a TikTok together. And once I get my crocs, we'll do the damn thing. Yes. I can't wait. I'm so excited. Thank you guys. so much. I'm Caitlin Bristow. I'll see you next Tuesday.
