Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story. Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge, there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice. And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am. It's not just any audiobook. This is a full cast performance. So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry, brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
Starting point is 00:00:25 And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads sing is Mr. Darcy. And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything. Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix. Talk about a dream cast. Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics, and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy. And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
Starting point is 00:00:58 So whether it's your first time experiencing Pride and Prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again. So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash Jane Austen. Get ready for lots of laughs. Tabby topics. Unfiltered advice and wine. Lots of wine. Get ready to shake things up. Here's Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:01:39 And then she goes still to, I think it's Dubai. Okay. And while she's there, she asks her butler to get her a nice warm glass of milk to go to bed. Oh. With a little bit of cinnamon. Oh. So I tried it, and it's awesome. Did he tell her to go get a warm glass of shut the hell up?
Starting point is 00:01:58 No, but not funny. You were asleep when you were cold. Yeah, you're in my world now, grandma. Yes, I knew you'd know that. That sweet, sweet voice you guys are hearing is fellow Canadian. Oh, we're recording. Oh, my God. I like it.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Sometimes I like what we're just like naturally going to something. I'm like, yeah, this is perfect. We both live in Nashville now from Alberta. His career started when he was just a kid. In fact, he was the year. youngest CCMA nominee in history. Apparently. I mean, who's going to check?
Starting point is 00:02:34 Well, I will. I'll do some digging. Please don't. Turns out you're not. And then we have to do another podcast saying we're liars. He's gone on to achieve amazing success in country music, winning the Canadian Country Music Association Awards for both male artists of the year and fans' choice. Something I hope I can say soon.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Yeah, I really hope so. Oh my gosh. At People's Choice Award, I mean, I want it to go to you so bad. Oh my gosh. Keep voting every day, twice on Tuesdays. Twice. Oh, my God, you're so good. Oh, I know.
Starting point is 00:03:00 Oh, I know. Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards and International Artist of the Year at the Worldwide Radio Summit. He has also achieved success outside of the music, married to his beautiful wife. I love her so much. And Father of Three Beautiful Children, you may have heard his catchy new single, Drink About Me. And you better have watched the music video where the stars were none other than myself and Jason. please welcome to the podcast Brett Kissel
Starting point is 00:03:27 Thank you Thank you thank you thank you Did you like that intro? Yeah, job well done on that I always like an intro I love doing it for people Because I'm like listen to all your success And then I love it when it's the other way around
Starting point is 00:03:39 And people are saying everything about me I'm like keep going It definitely does feel special Yeah At the same time I don't know where you found all that stuff But I really appreciate it A little thing called Google Oh yeah the Google
Starting point is 00:03:51 And I've learned that sometimes the Google lies to you. Like, you know, when you Google something and the first thing that comes up in the bold print explains it? I thought that was always the right answer. I always thought that, too, but I find, I mean, maybe this is bad for me to say this, but sometimes I'll Google myself just to see what people
Starting point is 00:04:08 are saying. So I'll Google Brett Kistel. And then if you punch in Brett Kessel, right next is, it'll say Brett Kissel wife. Brett Kissel age. Brett Kisle, Net Worth. Oh. Brett Kisle, all these things. And most of them are hilarious. I know. Because they get like
Starting point is 00:04:24 our wedding day completely wrong. So they can just make up anything that they want to put it on there? Wikipedia, I don't know what the statistic is because I hear that like 80% of statistics are made up on the spot. But I believe that 40% of Wikipedia is probably BS. They're definitely wrong on my net worth. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Way more or way less? I'm not going to say. Okay. But they're definitely off. And are you on WikiFeet? I've never heard of WikiFeet. It's actually a site where people. who are somebody's like if there's somebody that started a wiki feet page and they'll have pictures
Starting point is 00:04:58 i'm going to google it right now see if you're on wiki feet i mean probably not wiki feet it's usually as in your feet yeah like guys who are obsessed with girls feet oh no not those guys yeah my brother is the opposite does not like feet gross him out yeah really yeah i mean that feet are fine to me they don't do anything for me you know no they don't i mean feet don't do anything for me either but uh i'm gonna die if you're on if i'm on wiki feet i'm gonna i'm gonna tell that whole bottle of wine You're not. Good. That's too bad.
Starting point is 00:05:26 I don't want to be on Wiki feed anyways. I am, and you know what? It's the most embarrassing thing ever. You can't really tell in this photo, thank God, but it was zoomed in on my foot. And during the show, I wore so many heels and I don't usually wear heels that my toenail fell off. Like legit or like a fake toenail because girls get toenails done? I don't get fake toenails done.
Starting point is 00:05:45 I don't even, look at my real nails, okay? I don't do my nails. But my actual real toenail had been cramped into heels for so long that, when I don't get One of my toenails fell off. Oh. And then I tried to like make it look like semi done. Yeah, presentable somewhat. Which I was like, nobody looks at my feet anyways.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Well, I don't know. That's the one on Wiki feet. That's the one on Wiki feet. Oh, damn it. Yeah, but you can't really tell. Well, I feel bad for you if that's the case. So, okay, as much as I love the summer, I am really looking forward to fall from cozy sweaters to jackets to jeans and boots.
Starting point is 00:06:18 There's so many things I love wearing in the fall. But honestly, I don't wear these things a ton. especially live in Nashville, where there's only so many days where it makes sense for me to wear a coat. So I want to try false styles and have new clothes for the season, but I don't want to buy a whole new wardrobe, especially when styles and trends change, as we all know. So thankfully, I discovered Haverdash. Havardash is a new clothing service that lets you try and wear new clothes every month. Hey, how was the zoo this morning? It was awesome. Yeah. I missed it because I had a full blown panic attack in the middle of the night.
Starting point is 00:07:45 So tell me what happened. Oh my gosh. I don't know what's wrong with me. There's probably been... Because your text to Cecilia was hilarious. It made no sense. Really? What did I say?
Starting point is 00:07:52 I don't even remember. I was probably still like high on my anxiety meds. It was literally, it was, there was one word that started L-P-Z-A-B-Q. Was I trying to spell Xanax? I don't know what you were. I don't know. And Cecilia's like, is Caitlin okay? And I'm like, I'm sure she's going to be okay.
Starting point is 00:08:08 But we didn't get what it was. Really? Yeah. I'm going to go back and read it. I don't know. Okay. So at 3.30 in the morning, like around there, I woke up. And I've only had this really bad feeling.
Starting point is 00:08:18 Like, I get anxiety here and there. But I've only had this one. really bad feeling like three other times in my life and I could tell this was one of them and I woke up and my whole body just felt like it was burning like radiating heat and my chest was closing in and so I immediately took um it's not Xanax um lorazapam okay and so I was like I saved those for like emergencies because I had a really bad panic attack on a plane once and I was like I'll never not have those like on me okay and so I took it immediately and I'm just trying to come down I didn't want jason to wake up because i didn't want him asking me questions are you like that like when
Starting point is 00:08:51 when you're going to throw up or something you're just like don't talk to me i just need space gotcha i i i know what you're saying yeah i don't know if i'm really like that because i might be the opposite i kind of like to be caressed like it's going to be okay i do not you're going to be just fine breath yeah okay okay but for you you're opposite so you don't want to wake him up so you take the meds yes and i'm like where is raman he can like kind of help with anxiety yeah he's an emotional support animal for me with anxiety so I'm like trying to find him I can't find him well now my anxiety's getting worse and I'm like oh no I'm on like the verge of full blown panic attack like hyperventlating like I know it's coming and so I just laid down and my whole body just felt like it goes on fire and I put my feet up because
Starting point is 00:09:31 that's like a trick that they say to do I found ramen he's laying on the AC vent which is right where I want to be and I laid there with him and I'm still like it's getting progressively worse and I'm just starting and then Jason rolls over and he goes are you okay and I'm like and then it starts and then I said, honestly, this is going to sound so mean. I said, but just if you want to help this at all, I've really bad anxiety right now, just don't say anything. And he goes, well, how can I help? And I'm like, no, just don't say anything.
Starting point is 00:09:58 And he kept asking questions. And I, like, just fully pan. Like, I thought I was dying. I actually thought, like, this is how I go. This is how I go. Oh, no. And it didn't last long. Thank God.
Starting point is 00:10:07 And the lorazazepam kicked in pretty quick. But it just suddenly humor. And then my body started cooling down. And then when I do also get anxiety, I like to put on Ellen tube because Ellen. because Ellen just makes me happy. Yeah, well, I agree. And so I put that on in bed and I felt bad because I was like a little bit snappy at Jason. But I just know that if you ask me questions, it almost is like it makes it real that I'm not okay because you're having to ask.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Well, if you've got a system, you've got to stick with your system. If you've got a remedy and stuff like that, I completely support that. Yeah. And I just, I guess, encourage you guys to have that conversation. Yeah. Now in a calm state to say, all right, this could happen at any given moment in the event that this happens, this is what you do. Or vice versa. So Cece and I have those different things for different, whatever it may be from meeting
Starting point is 00:10:51 people to, you know, any type of physical ailment that maybe she may have or I may have. But I've never really had a panic attack. I don't think so. But I did have a seizure. What? I think that might be worse. I had one in Hawaii. No.
Starting point is 00:11:08 I was at, we had a kind of an afternoon nap. And then I woke up and I went to go use. go use the bathroom and I guess I'm standing and you know going pee and that's what happened and I just went timber like a tree and so I crack my head on the
Starting point is 00:11:27 on the tile bathtub oh my god so smash it in the back and then that's what woke up Cecilia and then she comes into the room and apparently I'm doing like the funky chicken and I'm spazzing out like crazy there's blood everywhere
Starting point is 00:11:43 and so I had to go in to an ambulance was called and i like came too as they're loading me up on a stretcher no yeah full-blown seizure what and so a couple days go by whatever you know i no idea oh no idea and that was like a cleanse for us where it was like we didn't booze yeah and it wasn't that we're taking like cleansing pills or anything like that we're just like we're gonna sleep well eat well no boots that doesn't work for you and then maybe my boss went through withdrawals and says you need to drink yeah you're a cowboy what are you doing to yourself if you're going to do this at least wean yourself off to go cold turkey on me bro so so yeah
Starting point is 00:12:27 so i was pretty crazy so i phone my brother jameson yeah maybe a week after you know i get back i i i agree i love that name too and i says you'll never believe what happened in hawai he says well you believe what happened to me the other day your brother and i said well you go first he says no you go first. Okay, I'll go first. Well, Jamer. So I'm in Hawaii and I'm taking a leak and I go timber like a tree and I pass out and I have a seizure. He's like, no way. I had a seizure. No way. I just passed out and I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I'm sorry. Two. So we both did it days apart. Okay, that's that's insane. What is that some final destination stuff going on? Like what is that? And you both don't
Starting point is 00:13:12 know why and you've never had one before or after the doctor told jamison that he was just dehydrated see that was a night after and it to me his made sense so he went every year my brother and i we've done it now i haven't done it for years but he continued on with the tradition he goes with the boys like about 20 or 30 guys they rent a bus they go watch new year's day or new year's eve in calgary oilers play calgary okay and so buys the tickets they go and it's all a bunch of oilers fans and they go to Calgary. Yeah. So he comes back. It's the next day.
Starting point is 00:13:46 He's hung over as could be. Probably hasn't had any water for a week. Yeah. And so he goes timber like a tree. And he passes out because he was dehydrated. But he has a seizure. And then me, I have the seizure because I'm supposed to be this health night.
Starting point is 00:14:00 That's so bizarre. But we had it literally days apart. Now, what would be crazier if you guys were twins? True. That would have been like, that would have been like a sympathy seizure. I wonder if it would have been.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Whoa. And see, he and I are not really close on anything. Just we love golf. We love our kids. We love the Oilers. Yeah. And that's really all we have in common. Really?
Starting point is 00:14:21 Yeah. That's so interesting. Well, now we're on the seizure topic. I didn't tell anybody this, but Rahman had one the other day. Is he okay now? Yes, totally fine. It was terrifying. So he was at our dog sitter's place who she's also his trainer.
Starting point is 00:14:36 I think we told you this last night, didn't we? I'm just going to repeat it on. No, no, you didn't. And so he was. We were in Yellowstone, Wyoming, and we had zero self-service. So she, what happened was he looked like he was going to get sick. So she took him to the backyard and he threw up. But all of a sudden as he threw up, he like shook a little and fell over and then peed himself and was like not doing him all and throwing up and like didn't know where he was.
Starting point is 00:15:02 And so she didn't even have her shoes on. And she scooped him up and threw him in the car and went to the hospital immediately no shoes and brought him in. And he had gotten a rare spider bite on his ear and had a massive allergic reaction. His face was all swollen. Really? And all of his like, his blood pressure was dropping. Like he had to stay overnight in the hospital. And we didn't have service.
Starting point is 00:15:24 And the poor girl was just like, I mean, she did everything right. And he was fine. It was just like a very rare thing. And so when we went to pick him up, she was like, yeah, I got to tell you guys something. And we were like, thank you for, like, because he was totally fine by the time. Right. That came around. I was like, thank you so much for waiting to tell us because you'd done everything right.
Starting point is 00:15:44 And he was in the best care. And then he was totally back to himself. Like so much energy, eating, doing whatever. Like, he was totally fine. But oh my gosh, if that would happen when I was around. Well, no kidding. I mean, you freak out because anybody who says that, you know, pets are just pets and they're not really family members. I mean, I don't really have time for that.
Starting point is 00:16:02 No. Because I agree that, like, ramen is yours. Oh, my gosh. He's your everything the same way, Charlie. Yes. We always say Charlie, our wiener dog is my first born. Yeah. You know, I always introduce him that way.
Starting point is 00:16:13 That's because you guys are real dog people. Well, I mean, you know what? And I never grew up a dog guy. But I absolutely adore Charlie. And so a similar story. Yeah. We're filming the music video early in my career called for a song of mine called Raise Your Glass. Yeah, I know that.
Starting point is 00:16:30 And so while we're doing that video, Charlie's with us everywhere we go. And he's roaming around. We're kind of in a warehouse district. Yeah. Because we've just got, we're essentially. putting on a giant party and filming it but it's a fake party with fake booze and stuff like that and it's just all you know glitz and glamour for the for the shoot yeah but it's kind of a decrepit old warehouse but he goes and he discovers a wasp nest oh no and so he got bit a couple times in the
Starting point is 00:16:55 face yeah and in doing so he was so swollen his eyes were swollen his lips were swollen and everything and he literally looked like will smith and hitch yeah yeah and so cecilia and i had to pause the video like do other things we need to go to a vet Oh, no. So we go and he gets some, uh, whatever the, the medicine is. Benadryl. Yeah, some Benadryl and everything like that. And he was fine, but I remember just freaking out.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Yeah. What's happening? Because I could see him balloon right in front of my face. And you're just so helpless and you can't explain to dogs like that you're going to be okay. And the worst is when they whimper. And he's whimpering. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Oh, sad. I can't handle that. Yeah. That like breaks, that breaks, that breaks my heart. Because I feel like, well, I mean, kids, too. I'm going to be a crazy. I was talking to Jason's mom. And I'm like, she was like, are you okay?
Starting point is 00:17:45 Like, I saw that you had anxiety. And I'm like, what are you like when you have kids? Like, I feel like I'm nervous to have kids for my anxiety level to just skyrocket. You and Jason are such a great team and such a great pair. Yeah. From an outsider looking in. We are, yeah. Because, you know, in certain areas where, for example, I just don't have a good vocabulary.
Starting point is 00:18:07 So the way I'm going to explain it is in areas where someone lacks, the partner needs to fill in that space and vice versa. And you guys do that for each other. Now, lack is not a negative thing. I'm just saying if you have more this and less that, well, Jason fills in those spaces. And he's really great for you. And I know that you're excellent for him. So it's really great for us to see that in CC. And we're extremely happy for you guys.
Starting point is 00:18:35 And we know that, I mean, if kids are in your. future and that's the path that you want to want to go down which of course we so encourage yeah but that said when or if or especially when that's that's your journey yeah anything we can do to help we're going to do it but you guys will have it together and the biggest advice i give to new parents yes don't take anybody's advice oh ever just do your own thing i like that because because the kids going to survive yeah and all kids are different so different things are going to work for And exactly, what worked for Mila is not going to work for your daughter. What works for my son may not work for your son.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Yeah, exactly. Maybe it does. And if you actually ask the question, we will give you advice. But I'm not just going to give you unsolicited advice. No, you guys are going to be sorry because I feel like, even just watching you guys, like, Jason and I talked about it today, we're like, you guys, too, you're such a good team. You work so well together. You're both great parents and you're both so cute.
Starting point is 00:19:28 And like, everything you do as parents, I'm like, those are the kind of parents I want to be. Well, thank you. Yeah. No, it's just, I can't wait to. like spend more time with you already told cc i'm like next week i'm like what do you guys doing because next time i want to make it for the kids bubble bath time and then like sing and dance it's bath time it's bath time the best time of the day it's bath time it's bath time it's bath time yippie oh yay i i got to register that song lily or i'm my manager he's sitting in he's listening
Starting point is 00:19:54 we have to register that with so can and as cap you really do it's so catchy and the kids love it well and we save it obviously we sing it once a day and they lose it because it's the best time of the day. Yeah. And it's so cute because they like stop what they're doing and start dancing because it's bath time. Oh my God. And thank you for joining in too on that. That was so funny when you're everybody singing along.
Starting point is 00:20:18 It was great. I loved it. I loved our little barbecue last night, which apparently Americans call it grilling, but we barbecue. No, we barbecue. It's really good. Thank you guys for doing that for us. Our pleasure. And it's our turn next time.
Starting point is 00:20:27 No, it's our pleasure. Okay. Thanks. So if you are a vina, which I'm assuming you are and you listen to my podcast regularly, you know that Jason and I are going strong, but unfortunately not everyone can find love through Bachelor Nation, and so now I'm turning my attention to helping one of my good friends Jill find her person to, not Jillian Harris, my other girlfriend, Jill, the old-fashioned way, you know, the dating apps.
Starting point is 00:20:49 I download this new dating app. It's called Ship, and it lets you swipe for your friends, which I've always wanted to swipe, but I can find dates for Jill, and first of all, I love it because, like I said, I never got my own chance to use a dating app, and I still have fun swiping, and it's great because I get to judge the guy too and make sure he's someone I'd want to hang out with myself. Gosh, that's selfish. So here's how it works. If you're single, you invite a group of friends to join your crew and those friends can help you find matches.
Starting point is 00:21:16 The best part, if you're not single like myself, you can still join to help your friends out. You don't need to make a profile pick or anything like that. Don't worry about it. You just join your friend's crew and start swiping. So I asked Jill, how's it going so far? And this is what she texts me. I am so bad at pick-up lines or starting the conversation, so it's been so nice to have you help me come up with cute, funny opening lines
Starting point is 00:21:39 and identify guys with red flags that I wouldn't have noticed myself. Also, our group chat in the app is one of my favorite parts. It's hilarious to see what my friends think of these guys. I went on a first date with someone who normally I want to swipe on, and actually it went really well. So maybe you're on to something, Caitlin. Finding a date is more fun if you do it with friends. Download ship the dating app that lets you swipe with friends.
Starting point is 00:22:02 that's S-H-I-P, search for ship dating in the app store and start swiping today. I guess we should talk about some music. You know what, sure. Let's talk about some music. Let's talk about drink about me because obviously the video, if anybody is sitting out there and hasn't watched this video yet or heard this song, stop everything you're doing. You can even stop this podcast. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:22:23 Come back to it. Just press pause. Go watch the video because it's me, Jason, and Brett. And we're in the Bahamas. And that spot that we were at And blanking on the name Do you know how to think? Seru Lamar
Starting point is 00:22:35 Yes Yeah So Brian and Sarah from HGTV They did Life of Brian And now they're filming their second season Called Island of Brian Island of Brian Yeah so Brian and Sarah Palmer
Starting point is 00:22:44 Good beauties hey They're just great people Love them And there too You can just tell They're a good team And they have four kids And they just
Starting point is 00:22:52 They're running this resort And it was such a cool experience Because we were Some of the only people To stay there Because they were just working on it Yeah. So when I called Brian out of the blue in a panic, because, as you know, all of our locations fell through for this. We needed it to be a tropical location for the content of the song. But I called him about four days before we went. And he's like, look, we only have about six villas ready. The other 34 are not ready. We're building them over the course of the next six months. And I'm like, well, that's perfect. All we need is six. He said, well, come on down. And it truly was paradise. like i honestly i it was of all the places i've stayed and i know that you with the show and then you
Starting point is 00:23:34 with all of your travels and everything that you've done i i genuinely wonder what it compared to for you and jay in all the places that you've traveled especially on the show because being on the show you truly do stay in the best of the best yeah but the thing is for jay when he was on his season he got to go to incredible places my season not so much like really the only tropical place I went through all two seasons of Bachelor and Bachelor, it was Bali, which was amazing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:04 But other than that, nowhere. I went to, I always, people are probably sick of me saying this because I always talk about it, but I went to Texas, New York, stayed in L.A. for a super long time, went to Deadwood, South Dakota, which was awesome, just definitely not tropical. Iowa, Iowa twice, actually.
Starting point is 00:24:22 Like, we really didn't get the tropical vacations. Is it because he didn't want to travel? Yeah, I think on Chris Sol's season, I think he wanted to see, like, if that, what mattered to people and how they could hang in, like, these small towns because he lived on that farm with nothing around. And I think it was important for him to not do all the glam, glamorous, like, extravagant stuff. And then on my season, oh, I went to Ireland, but again, not tropical amazing. It was on my bucket list. So happy we went there. But everywhere else, it was like New York and Texas and didn't really get that.
Starting point is 00:24:54 Yeah, whereas, I mean, when I think about the show, I think about Thailand, St. Lucia, St. Thomas, St. Martin, the Bahamas, Jamaica. I got my parents there like, why did you get married or engaged at the mansion? Like, couldn't we have come somewhere else? It's so funny. Good point. I mean, it's just, so going to the Bahamas for us was, I mean, it was nice because we didn't, obviously weren't on the show together. So for us to have that get away was so special. And you did the hilarious thing where you brought a date card to Jason because he did.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Get his fantasy suite on The Bachelorette. Thank you. I got to post that photo. You have to. I still have, I kept the card and it's hanging in my podcast office. Oh, great. Yeah. I wrote, Dear Jason, should you choose to forego your individual rooms and stay as a couple in the fantasy suite?
Starting point is 00:25:40 Here you are. Like something gets through Lamar and I had flowers and champagne for you guys. It was perfect. It was so good. I was glad you guys got a kick out of that. Yeah. And we got the honeymoon suite. And it was just like actually just that whole time with you guys there in the Bahamas.
Starting point is 00:25:54 Like, I feel like we really bonded over that because the music video was obviously very romantic and we loved hanging out with you and having like the card games that one night was so much fun. And we just, it felt like it really like brought us closer. Yeah. That sometimes my favorite thing when, and we didn't, I wouldn't call that really work. What we did. I mean, it was very special to be on camera. But my favorite parts were the stuff that was off camera. Oh, me too.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Like playing cards. Yeah. The dinners that we had, everybody together. I was very thankful that first and foremost you guys said yes to the crazy idea you know I didn't even hesitate I was like yes I'll be there thank you seriously but I loved getting a chance to go and in when we were driving to the bar I I knew that we were going to be like what I would call like forever friends yeah when I scared you guys in the back seat and you weren't mad and you didn't spill your wine that to me is like I love these people because they could take a prank
Starting point is 00:26:52 Oh, I love pranks. I was like, and I like him more now for doing a prank on us because that was, it's so fun. Like, we just had such a blast. Jason and I were saying that we're like that. It was long hour days and it felt like just like it didn't feel like work at all. Well, I'm glad. You know, and Blake McWilliam, our director is a beauty of a guy from Short Park, Alberta. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:11 You know, just outstanding guy and everybody works so hard on that. But I was, I texted Blake and Earl who was doing her in makeup. Yeah. And I said, look, put me in the back. trunk and i'm going to wait here for like 10 minutes yeah and i'm going to scare so everybody knew except the two of you guys so i got to repost that yeah you post that it's so funny yes send it to me i think jason posted it and i saw it on your page but i want it kills me every time because first of all i think it's so funny when people get scared like when somebody scares somebody
Starting point is 00:27:41 and so i you know for the back roads of bahamas and i'm just like holding this wine glass like in true kaitland fashion just a wine glass and like not even a dixie cup like a no one there's a legit wine glass beautiful crystal from the resort as we're going down to this like on a honky tonk bar and you scares and you say give me all your money and my face was like I know but you didn't spill you're literally like like Julian in trailer park boys yes who like has a car crash and stumbles out of the car and he's got his rum and coke and he hasn't spilled a drop yeah oh my gosh I wonder who out there will get our trailer park boys references i hope people do because what a great show did you see my um my rickieism on my
Starting point is 00:28:29 instagram story the other day no what did you say i said i was telling people that on tuesdays the votes for um for people's choice award counts twice that's right and i said you know you get to just click once and it counts for two votes it's like getting two birds stoned at once that's a great one and i was like everyone's going to think i'm really funny but it was just a yeah it's a rickie I stole it. And another one of my favorites is Worst Case Ontario. Worst case Ontario.
Starting point is 00:28:56 I say that all the time. Worst case Ontario is like nobody likes the music video. Yeah, yeah. Worst case Ontario. Oh, that's so funny. I actually used that one all the time. Worst case Ontario. He was talking about getting caught.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Worst case Ontario, you get caught. That's amazing. And so obviously devastating what happened in the Bahamas. And the one island that we went to was like the one spot that got. The one spot that wasn't affected at all. But you know what? I think it's a great opportunity to plug
Starting point is 00:29:20 what Brian and Sarah Balmer have done. They started a GoFundMe page and an incredible foundation to support so many causes in the Bahamas because not only did people lose everything as far as their possessions and their homes and everything, but so many people lost their lives
Starting point is 00:29:34 with Hurricane Dorian coming through. So Brian and Sarah, amazing philanthropists and businessmen and women in that area, started a GoFundMe page. So I've shared it and... Oh, will you send that to me? I'll send you the link
Starting point is 00:29:47 and so that people can obviously... I love that. donate if it's five bucks great 10 bucks great 25 200 like literally we don't care whatever you can do that be great i always say that when i um whenever i promote any kind of charity thing i'm like if everybody that followed me donated one dollar think of how much money that would raise i agree so it's like even you know if you can't afford to donate a bunch of money throw in a dollar just like and it makes you feel good i love giving back i agree even when i'm like the other day i did something and i accidentally hit $5 to donate to something, which I meant to do more.
Starting point is 00:30:22 And I hit $5 and I was like, it still feels good to just know that you're like, I know. I can't, you will never hear me say no to like the grocery store or at PetSmart when they're like, would you like to donate? I always do. And if there's ever like on your credit card, would you like to donate $2 to Kroger for kids or Canadian tire, this and that or whatever it may be, always do. And I think it's great to do that. I agree.
Starting point is 00:30:45 of all the charity work that you've done now in the past is there a cause that is more important to you if you don't want me asking or have you ever thought about starting your own foundation or do you have one i have thought about that um i think just seeing bunnies buddies where we rescued ramen from like it's gotten me so passionate about dog rescue just because i've seen what what people do in south korea and china not everybody obviously but some cultures like in what they do and i've gotten a little bit passionate about that um but i think the main one and the one that I consistently work with every year is the Covenant House, and that's for homeless youth. Great. And so every year I sleep outside to raise money and awareness for the Covenant House. And everybody's been so supportive with that because they know I do it every year. And even this year, I'll be on my live podcast tour, but I'm still going to go somewhere and, like, safe. Like, hopefully my hotel will have a balcony. Like, I'm still going to make sure I sleep outside that night and still raise money for the cause.
Starting point is 00:31:45 free to do that. Yeah, I still like, what about you? You know what? For years, it was a lot to do with cancer, you know, because of my family and, you know, my mom and now my grandpa, but Celia and I are now doing as much as we can for underprivileged youth around the world, especially in Canada and the United States. Yeah, I love that. You know, kids who just don't have the opportunity to do things, whether it may be sports
Starting point is 00:32:07 or school lunch programs and stuff like that, there are so many things that we, sometimes we don't know. Sometimes we don't know the difference between that kid and that kid, but they know the difference. And if we can make it anonymous and do everything that we can to help the causes, give money or support these great charities, we do that on a regular basis. You probably get so passionate about things once you have kids or once you adopt a dog or you know, you start getting so passionate about those kinds of things. It's so important to do that with a platform as well. It is. I agree.
Starting point is 00:32:38 And you know what? And I'm really thankful that you do that with such a huge platform and that, you know, myself and music, I'm able to do that. I think it's, to be honest, I think it's our, it's, it's a, it's a responsibility. It's a responsibility. Yeah. It's the perfect word to do it. As we achieve status and call this celebrity community, it's very, very important to give back and do everything that we can in that regard. All right.

Honestly, she is through and through Alberta girl to the court.
Starting point is 00:34:16 And I'm so mad because at the CCMAs, guess who sat across the aisle from us and we didn't know it until we saw her story and we're in it? Shut up. She didn't take us. She didn't know us. I just didn't see her because her husband was right there. And then it was her. And we were like two feet away. No, that's so unfortunate.
Starting point is 00:34:41 such big fans because like both me and cc love her platform love what she does have like taken her advice on like what to do with this or what to do with that or travel and kids and recipes she is one of a kind she is just she is she's got the biggest heart and she's such a go-getter and such a good mom and she's such a good friend and i just i just like when i first met her i remember she didn't like me because i was uh the new canadian bachelorette coming through and she was like spelling my name wrong all the time and being like, I don't know about this girl, but I totally get that. And then we met and we're like
Starting point is 00:35:15 the same person. Great. And we just get along. So there's another Caitlin out there basically and like personality and fun. From Alberta. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Okay. Well, I'll tell you, I really hope. Here's a little PSA right now. Jillian Harris, Cecilia
Starting point is 00:35:31 and I would love to meet you. And also, I know that she does this event in Colona. Mamas for Mamas. I'd love to be one where Aaron. Aaron has been there. Dean Brody's been there. I was thinking about you for that, too, actually. We'd love to be there. Okay, we should do that next year because so now I like to be part of that. That was another thing I was going to bring up. Mamas for Mamas for Mamas. They raised, but they've become this community that just helps women in general. And you can donate all these things. They raised, I think it was like $124,000 this summer for Mamas for Mamas. And it's just, yeah, it was me, Dean Brody. How do you tell you the last name, Aaron Prochette? Yeah, Aaron Prichette. Well, I was going to say Pritchett, but it's Pruchette. And Jill, and it was just such a, I mean, when Jill does events, she goes all out.
Starting point is 00:36:19 And everyone donates to, like, do, like, these swag bags. And it's just such a beautiful thing. And everyone just goes up onto the mic and you just feel all warm inside. And it's just, yeah, she raised a lot of money. And she's done so much for that, for that organization and as they deserve it. It's, she's, you should perform at it. Well, I'd love to be a part of it. And, you know, I know, Cecilia would too, to, you know, in, in.
Starting point is 00:36:39 so many ways. What she's always done when people in our inner circle have a new baby. Yeah. Because her best friend Danielle made a box, like a mom box of everything from, I don't know, what was in it, from diapers, baby diapers and special organic creams and certain things, maybe, you know, a bottle of wine if you needed and some breastfeeding tips and what, all those different things to make a mom. with a brand new baby feel better.
Starting point is 00:37:12 Yes. Well, so Cecilia's done that for so many people in her circle now. Yeah. And she creates these little boxes and these little bins that she just sends them, whether it's a friend of ours in the East Coast or in Nashville or in Alberta. She does that. So I think she'd love to be a part of that. I could just see those two getting along so well as well.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Like your wife is just, she's such, like her texts bring me comfort. Like the way she speaks to me and her thought that she puts into her text, messages. Like I told her this morning, I'm like, if I could just read your text messages in like a tough time, I would be okay. So if you could just be by your phone at 3 a.m. next time. Sure. C.C. would be there for you. I know she would. There's something so special about her that's, it's tough to describe. But I do believe Cecilia's like she's a visionary. She's wise beyond her years. It's like she's lived so many different lives in a 30 year old's body. And I, I'm so impressed by her on a daily basis she really is incredible like she blows my mind every time even just being in her presence makes me happy like did you know that you and jason being in the video was her
Starting point is 00:38:20 idea oh was it yeah get it so we're i'm well thank you see you know the the song is you know we're in the studio and everything and she's just what are you thinking about the video and i don't know it's got to be a tropical location but i don't really have a plot for it she says katelyn and jason really I said, oh my God, you're right. Oh, that's awesome. So that was 100% her idea. Oh, that's so cool. The new album is called Now or Never.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Yeah. Her title. Really? Yeah. I don't know, like, if, I don't know what I do without her. Yeah. She's like this secret. And she's like a silent thunder too, right?
Starting point is 00:38:55 Like, she's like, I don't need the recognition. I'm just here to help. And she, like, is so supportive of you in your career. Absolutely. And you're so supportive of, I mean, you guys have that. She posted something today about. the parenthood instead of just motherhood. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:10 And I was like, God, what a beautiful way of putting it. Because you guys really do work as such a solid team and you are such a good hands-on dad. And I see the way that you talk to your kids and communicate with them and how you guys, like, just the level of, like, I feel like you just show them respect and you, you, in some way I can see they respect you even though they're so young still. You know what I mean? Yeah. And we're figuring it out day by day. And in one minute something works. And then the next day, we're going to try to find a new strategy.
Starting point is 00:39:40 But we're very, very lucky to spend the time that we have with our kids. And for Cecilia and I, 99% of the time to be as united as we can be on all of these different topics and issues and how we're going to parent, Mila and Aria and Leo, obviously, as he gets older. And they're all so different. I'm obsessed with your kids. Like I said that to Jason again when we left. I was like, I don't know what, like I obviously love all my friends' kids. and like my niece and nephew but I am like I just watch your kids and they're so funny and cute and smart and their the manners are like like they're just so well mannered and
Starting point is 00:40:17 thank you and just special kids it's it's important manners are very important to us absolutely you know I think that that's kind of it's not an art but it's it's a loss thing because there's a lot of kids that I that I've met and and in traveling so much and you meet a lot of kids in the meet and greet and stuff like that and of course every kid is cute and yeah and everything but You can, you can see some kids if, like, some kid comes up to me and says, Hi, Mr. Kissel. Yeah. Nice to meet you.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Yeah. And you're four years old. I'm thinking like, what a kid? Like, what do you want? Let's take you to the merch table. You want a hoodie? Let's get you. You want a guitar?
Starting point is 00:40:50 I'll give you my guitar. Here's my guitar. Exactly. Here's my shirt off my back. Exactly. You want 500 bucks. Here you go, kid. Thanks for me.
Starting point is 00:40:57 It just doesn't happen any. Yeah. Which is so crazy because that's obviously parenting. It is. And it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, no one wants to judge like literally hands in the air here yeah don't want to judge everybody's got their own thing i'm just going to stay in my lane here yeah politeness manners very important to me and my kids yes and my parents did a really good job with me and my brother jameson yes i remember we'd be
Starting point is 00:41:21 going to restaurants and like restaurants that kids don't go to yeah yeah like in this city we'd go to fancy places we get all dressed up because my parents loved nice dinners that's cute and uh and my mom and dad like for 20 minutes going into the restaurant you know in the vehicle they say remember it's you're not going to be allowed to have any pop yeah it's only water or a glass of milk yeah and remember we're going to order for you and remember you say please and thank you and remember when we say it's time to go it's not in five minutes it's not in 10 minutes it's not in one minute it's not oh can we stay a little longer it's now yeah got it they'll be like you got it so we get in there and we're these like prim proper little kids and everybody would compliment my mom and my dad with oh and my
Starting point is 00:42:06 mullet was great oh he was so spiky in the front blonde and spiky and then just curls and piles of blonde it's the ultimate mallet like the ones that you like google oh yes yeah i got to find some really good pictures because my brother and i would we would wear matching outfits all the time and we had these great mullets oh gosh is your brother into music uh no not at all really no zero percent Uh-uh. Who else in your family? Is anyone else? Nobody.
Starting point is 00:42:33 No way. My grandma played piano and she was good at it. She played piano in church. Yeah. But nobody sang. Nobody played. Nobody this, nobody that. The reason why I got into it, nobody knows.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Really? But my big brother, it was so funny because, you know, sometimes, like, you've been to the opera before, right? Yeah. So a classic country artist goes on stage. They sing their hit, like Charlie Pride. Start singing, Kissing an Angel, Good Morning, and 20. 2,500 people start clapping the minute they hear the song, not just at the end.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Right. It's kind of a courtesy thing for traditional country music. Well, when I was a kid, my brother was forced to come to a lot of my shows. And I would play classic country music in the Bonneville Opry or the Boscom Country Corral or the St. Paul Rodeo. And people would clap for all these different artists. And my brother would never clap. N-uh. hands thinking why am I not at home watching hockey night in Canada and why am I supporting
Starting point is 00:43:33 my little baby brother as he's yodeling like this little Mason Ramsey kid because I thought that was the original Mason Ramsey as a little kid too bad there wasn't YouTube but then uh yeah because I yodeled all the time partially because my voice was changing and so one day I sound like dolly part and the next day I sound like Josh Turner and it's like what am I doing that's so funny and my big brother my poor guy so he like I genuinely believe he he hated music and country music and my career resentment because he was forced to do this like this BS until Caitlin I sing the anthem for the Oilers for my very first time oh which was like recently and then he's like oh uh can I get some tickets it's really cool what you're doing
Starting point is 00:44:17 and then you play big valley jambore he's like uh do you think I could get some uh passes yeah Yeah. And some camping. Yeah. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah, great show, man. Great show. Yeah. Love music. I love country music. That's so funny. We'll be back with more Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow. Congratulations to Caitlin Bristow on her People's Choice Award nomination. We're so proud to have her as part of the podcast One family. I don't even care if I win or not me. I do. Now back to Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow. It's funny how two siblings can be so different. And I wish I would have gotten to know Haley a little bit better. Oh, yes. You know, meeting you're at Big Valley. Like, I, I, I bet you we'd hit it off, really, if we had more time. She is, my sister's just, like, she's so selfless, and she just loves making other people happy.
Starting point is 00:45:31 And she's just, like, a sweet, sweet soul who is just like, like, and she never once has ever taken advantage of, like, anything. Like, she's never asked me for anything. And she felt so bad asking me if she could go meet you at the show. And I was like, Brett, this is like the nicest guy he will happily take you back there. And she was like, well, I just don't want to. ask you for anything like she's just never uh isn't that sweet and it makes me feel almost bad that i'm like god i should do more for her because she's just such a sweet soul who's just a great mom and i just i just love her so it's you and haley is there anyone else in your family just uh
Starting point is 00:46:06 just six uh step sisters he got six of them six bonus stepsisters yes yeah i always call so colton um i remember him calling his stepparents the bonus mom and bonus dad and that's how i definitely feel about um kathy and my stepdad rob I love them both so much, and they're all so happy. And they all get along the four of them. And so Kathy has three daughters, and Rob has three daughters and a son. And so, I mean, they remarried pretty later in life, so it's not like I grew up with six step-sisters. It's just I still consider, like, we're all family now.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Gotcha. Yeah. So it's pretty wild, but Christmases are just all over the place. Like, I go to Jason's now, I'll be with him. His mom is very set on, we have Christmas at that house. And then I'll be going to Leduc to see my dad And then I'll go to Phoenix to see my mom And I get like 80 Christmases
Starting point is 00:46:57 Oh so it's literally It's the Christmas tour Yeah, it's the Christmas tour I should probably like Make it an off the vine tour while I'm at it You probably should if you're going to be in all those locations I'm like so excited for Christmas by the way I'm like oh my gosh it's like soon
Starting point is 00:47:09 Me too And we want to We bought in our in our condo We bought like a Like a what like a 15 16 foot massive tree Yes But we've never been in national For December because we were on tour last year. We were on tour the year before, tour of the year before. So we haven't set it up in about four years. So our kids have not seen this massive Christmas tree. We're not going to be there for like actual Christmas day, but we're going to be there for most of December. Okay. Well, you will be getting us. Yeah, 100%. We'd love to have you guys over all the time. We'd love to have this. We want to have one on one time with you guys. We want to have a massive Christmas shindig. For everybody and their kids, like an open house.
Starting point is 00:47:51 Come and go. Let's party. Everyone bring your own little treat and food and drinks and we'll just share. I love Christmas so much. I always feel so terrible for people who've had tragedy in their lives around Christmas time because it's never the same for them after that. And I'm just like, oh, it is literally, as soon as it's over, I'm depressed and I can't wait for next Christmas. I know.
Starting point is 00:48:13 December 26th, the worst is listening to the radio because you have Christmas music pretty much all December. only Christmas music 24th and 25th. December 26th, it just goes back to regular old country music. And I'm like, no, I still want to hear a white Christmas. Like, please play Holly, Jolly Christmas again. Some people get sick at Christmas news. Like, not me.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Have you ever been a Christmas album? I did in 2009. But I'm due to make another one. Oh, you should definitely. Yeah. Maybe we can do, maybe Cecilia can be a duet guest and you guys can do like a fun family Christmas one that you just. So we've thought about that.
Starting point is 00:48:51 You should. So C.C. and I, we want to rewrite. I heard her sing it's bath time. Yes. She's got a great voice. Yes, she does. So Cici and I want to re-record or do baby it's cold outside. Yes.
Starting point is 00:49:02 But do C-C. It's cold outside. I really can't stay, but C-C. It's cold outside. I love that. Got to go away, but C-C. It's cold outside just for us. Yeah, we'll probably put it on our record and put it out there.
Starting point is 00:49:13 Can I sing jingle bells with you? Yes, you can. Okay, done deal. That'll be my track with your jingle bells. Do you remember as a kid? kids singing the, like, the bad version of jingle bells? Yeah, Batman smells. Robin, laying an egg.
Starting point is 00:49:27 Batmobile lost this wheel. Joker got away. Or Joker took ballet. Yeah. Yes, of course I remember that. I was the little rebel child that always wanted to sing the bad versions of everything. All the time, yeah. Okay, I wanted to talk about your kids, too, just for a quick second.
Starting point is 00:49:45 Because I want to know, people were asking us, actually, how long do you have to go without seeing your family when you're on tour or just? Do they ever come on tour with you? Yeah, the kids and Cecilia come on tour with me all the time. Yeah. In the summertime, we do what we call three, like a three-day turnarounds. Yeah. So if I'm playing on Saturday at the Calgary Stampede, but I'm based in Nashville.
Starting point is 00:50:08 So I'll fly up on Friday, play the show Saturday, be home Sunday and spend the rest of the week. So it's not that bad. Yeah. That's a lot of people, like even one of my best friends, Bree, like her husband has to go away for five, I think. think days every other week and like you know that's it's actually quite it seems crazy to people just because you're an artist and it's not like traditional it's kind of tough for sure but yeah one of the hardest things this year was I went to Europe and the family was supposed to come yeah but uh you know what as as leo was was getting older we didn't want to go to a whole another time zone yeah yeah and to
Starting point is 00:50:47 travel to the UK and be there for three weeks. So I was going for my family for about 20 days. And that was really difficult. And, you know, I miss them all the time. And I set my alarms and I called them at, you know, morning time, bedtime, a bunch of times south of day. But it's just not the same. Yeah. Of course, I have to be very empathetic to soldiers.
Starting point is 00:51:09 People are in the RCMP. Yeah, people were working in the oil field, you know, sometimes 10 days on, four days off. Like that's stuff. And they do that all. year long yeah so for me you know I got a little taste of that and I really want to make sure that that doesn't happen again if I can help it right in my career so with that being said it that was the only time that was the longest I've ever been away from my kids yeah and on the course of our tours that we've done like I did I was on the road for like 320 days in 2018 what and my family
Starting point is 00:51:39 was with me almost every day I love that and what a fun experience it was every province every territory you've yeah your your whole family is just so well traveled in in canada they are my daughters have status on air canada no way yeah they've got elite status both of them i think they're the youngest ones that's so funny it's like they they know and the gate agents know them when you're going to like a ticket counter in montreal or vancouver or edmonton or calgary they know oh here come the kisles because we travel with like a hundred bags yeah and the weiner dog and a stroller and three car seats and everything like it's it's it's It's an entourage.
Starting point is 00:52:16 No, even the way you guys do pool day, I was mind-blown by the skills that you guys have. Like, we went down from your place. And Cici's got, like, a huge stroller filled with floaties, trays of veggies and fruit, anything the kids would possibly need during that time. Then you've come down with a suitcase. Full of booze. A suitcase full of booze and food and potatoes and onions to chop and stuff for the salad. and options for me because I don't eat meat and you've got these mushrooms you filled for me
Starting point is 00:52:49 and I'm like, oh, it was the best thing ever. Oh, thank you. We were just like, what do we do to deserve this? No, you know what? We do love you. There's no denying that. But the reality is, as a parent, my mortal enemy is taking two trips.
Starting point is 00:53:06 I will never take two trips. I will have my arms go numb from bags from Walmart. And creases on my little scrawny little arms because I will carry 40 bags with four liters of milk in this bag and pop and everything like that. Like someone should take a picture of that because seriously, I will not take two trips. Well, I figured that out while I saw you load a suitcase for the pool. I was like, this guy means business. And I respect it.
Starting point is 00:53:38 Oh, thank you. It was actually perfect. I was like, we had everything we needed. And it was just, it was so much fun. I'm like, I'm coming over next week to do it again. Oh, please. Anytime. You don't have to meal prep for me this time.
Starting point is 00:53:51 I'll help. I'll bring food. Well, I do appreciate that. But I like prepping the meal because it makes me feel fancy when as you could see, like I've got Leo in my arms and I like, as Jason, I could tell like, Jason's a good cook, right? Yeah. He's a good griller. He's a good on the barbecue.
Starting point is 00:54:07 See, that's good to know because I could see the way that he was chopping onions. I could see the way that he's doing things. I'm like, okay, this guy knows his way around what he needs to be doing. Yeah. And so I was so happy that he actually took over the pressure of grilling the meat. Yeah, it was perfect. And he's sleeping because I'm thinking to myself, I have actually ruined more dinners by being so distracted by either a kid or Cecilia or my phone. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Or just like chit chatting. Well, yeah. About whatever. And then, damn it, I burn the stakes. Yeah. Like that is the worst. So Jason saved the meal. Shout out to Jason for being the grill master.
Starting point is 00:54:45 But I still, this morning I woke up thinking about that corn that you guys made. It was stupid. It was like queso corn. We kind of stole the recipe from Moss Tacos. Have you been to Moss Tacos here in Nashville? Where is that? It's in East, East Nashville. It is the greatest Mexican spot here.
Starting point is 00:55:02 It's been on, like Guy Fieri's been there, diners, drivers and dives. It's awesome. Cash only, like it's pretty divey. Yeah, I love diving. But it's amazing. I live for jivey. Okay. Is perfect.
Starting point is 00:55:14 Okay. This is so good to know. I feel like over the last, we went out for dinner with one of Jason's friends who's like an absolute whino food. Foodie. Is it the doctor or the surgeon guy? It was their friend. Okay. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:55:25 Gotcha. And I learned about so many new places in national. I'm like, oh my gosh, this is supposed to be my city. I'm supposed to know like where to take you guys. And they're telling me. It was amazing. I also wanted to talk quickly. We're going to get to confession.
Starting point is 00:55:36 So don't think. I remember yesterday at the pool. You said, Cisi, we got to think about a confession that I can say. on the pod. Well, because we've, we've, we've got a few that we could, that we could share or I could share. Yeah. But the biggest thing is like, okay, what, what part of ourselves do we want to reveal to a million people listening to a People's Choice Award nominated podcast here? Yeah, it's called being relatable. I've got a good one that I'm, I'm, I'm afraid to share, but, but of course, like, well, I will share. Okay, let's just get into it.
Starting point is 00:56:11 how much do you want to have another sip of wine before you tell me because that's my whole thing on my last podcast I was doing a podcast with Derek Peth and we were laughing hard because I kept calling it getting someone lubed up before their confessions and now that's going to stick yeah so I got a loop I'm feeling pretty lubricated right now okay great go ahead um I know you're going to deliver I know here here's the thing is that it's um it's a bit of a long it's It's a longer story with a bunch of different parts. Yeah. And I'm going to start. It starts in Vegas. What happens in Vegas ought to stay in Vegas. No. But it's coming out on the podcast.
Starting point is 00:56:53 It lives on Instagram, but this is pre-instagram. Okay. So Cece and I are a very first trip to Vegas. It's my 21st birthday. And so she takes me to a peep show. And it was actually really awkward because it wasn't that great. And there's only dudes in there. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:07 And they're kind of all greasy truckers and grandpas. And I'm not enjoying this. Yeah. But she takes me to a peep show, so I got to take her to a show. Okay. So we go to Chippendales. Okay. And it was amazing.
Starting point is 00:57:22 Yeah. It is. Have you ever seen Chippendales? No, I did a podcast with a few guys from Chippendales in Vegas. And they were telling us, and I was like, this sounds like so much fun. It's the best show in Vegas. It's an actual performance, right? And this is a dude telling you don't see no dick, no nothing.
Starting point is 00:57:37 No dick. No dick. But it is an incredible show. Yeah. it is so funny and entertaining and it's like girls gone wild oh yeah so i buy cecilia these great tickets we're right in the front row furthest to the left on the aisle front row right on the floor right in front of the stage and i'm having a blast i genuinely am i'm three-quarters cut but having a great time and the first song that they sing after they're like sort of the first
Starting point is 00:58:06 routine they do is great and the crowds going nuts the solo crowd full of bachelorettes and everything and everybody's having a great time Cici's having a great time and then the first song they sing is your husband's and your boyfriends aren't here your husband's and your boyfriend's aren't here so it's like setting the mood and these girls and then it's like girls gone wild so girls are flashing and everything like that it's like because they think that there's no other guys
Starting point is 00:58:28 in the audience so me and Cici are we going to watch the show or am I going to watch the crowd because it's a great time so like seriously Caitlin you would chase it we will take you to the Yeah, I would love to. It is so fun. They told us, they said, you know what? The guys come and they're afraid at first. And by the end, they're the ones dancing and having a blast.
Starting point is 00:58:47 They are the ones having the best time. So, Cece gets called up on stage. She's looking fine. She's looking like knockout 12 out of 10. She's in the front row. So she gets called up on stage for this construction men worker routine. Oh, boy. and so it's it's um it's cecilia this other girl and a grandma who's there in like her 75th birthday with like a feather boa this isn't this actually has nothing to do with with this has everything to do this story but another do the story okay so she goes and it's funny so the chippinails are like asking you know what's her favorite position so you know she's got to say and so she says this and the other girl says this and then the and but you have to show on the chippendale and use them like a mannequin or whatever so oh so
Starting point is 00:59:34 you do that so it's funny and this grandma just takes the chippendale by the hair right in between your legs she says this is my favorite position so the crowd goes nuts and the grandma wins the competition but we all get called now backstage shows over now we're all backstage why are these girls because if you're called up on stage you now get the VIP trip you get to visit and mix and mingle with the chip andales so well i'm cecilia's plus one so i'm there it's all girls and I don't I'm not going to say anything, but innuendo here is that these chippend deals are picking out certain girls from the crowd to see, all right, who are we going to spend a little bit
Starting point is 01:00:12 extra time with tonight? Of course. And they're thinking, okay, well, you know, it's Cecilia, you know, but she's got her husband with her. So here I am. So I'm like, I can either be a stick in the mud and fold my arms and, you know, be disappointed that everybody's hitting on CC. Or I can just start chatting with these guys.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Yeah. What's it like? What's your workout routine? Where are you from? You know, so I'm chatting with these guys. I chat with one of the guys. He's the singer in the group, and he's kind of the host, the MC.
Starting point is 01:00:41 Very handsome, very attractive, African-American guy and chiseled as could be and a beautiful singer. So I'm a singer too. So we start talking. It turns out we know a lot of the same people in Nashville. Turns out he lived in Nashville. Turns out he knows this guy and I know this guy
Starting point is 01:01:00 or published by the same guy and blah, blah, blah, blah. He's like, y'all are good people. We're going out. So he takes us out. Okay. So now I'm full like nine and a half, ten out of ten drunk. Yeah. And we're having a great night. And now we decided we're going partying with the Chippendales. Yeah. So we go with like four other Chippendales. And we go to this club. Yeah. And now we're parting. It's like a n's, ins, uns, uns, club or whatever. And I'm this little white guy, five foot six with all these chip. Like, and these.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Guys, they're clothed now, but they're still as handsome as you've ever seen. C.C.'s looking amazing. We're dancing with everybody. Then it's like, okay, 1.30, let's go to the next club. So we'll go to the next club. And it's kind of like a Michael Boubley, Frank Sinatra. Yeah. So now I'm drinking martinis and everything like that.
Starting point is 01:01:53 Fibre change. Pardon me? It's a little vibe change. Exactly. So now a couple of Chippodales leave. And this one guy was kind of hosting us or whatever. It's get pretty close to us. And he's telling us about his, you know, is his life and get to know us and got his arms around me, your arms around Cecilia.
Starting point is 01:02:11 And like, I can pick up on social cues 100%. Yeah. I just can't pick up on sexual cues. Oh, no. At all. He was trying to have a threesome. And he's picking up. He's got his arms on us.
Starting point is 01:02:23 And I'm not picking up what he's laying down. Yeah. I don't know if Cece is. Maybe she knows. Maybe she does it. I don't know. Yeah. But I'm, I'm just happy to be there.
Starting point is 01:02:32 Yeah. You know, just there in the headlights. He's got his arm around me. Like, oh, buddy, great to see you too. And everything. And he's got his, you know, forehead to forehead. He's like, I, you know, I believe in you in your career. I'm like, thanks, man.
Starting point is 01:02:45 And you're going to make it. I'm like, you're going to make it too. So then we go to the next place. So now we go to the third place. And it's this kind of honky tonk country bar off the beaten path. And he takes her for a dance and I go to the back. Because I go to the bathroom And then he
Starting point is 01:03:03 I come back He takes me for a dance He likes to go dance And nobody's on shirt So I'm teaching him To two step and whatever He's like six foot four I'm five foot six
Starting point is 01:03:13 He looks like a wrestler And then he Then I'm like I'm I need to go home Yeah I've hit my limit Yeah I'm at 15 out of 10 drunk
Starting point is 01:03:24 Yeah I'm seeing double Yeah All right time to go home It's like time to go home And he's like all right I'll take you guys home So he takes us home
Starting point is 01:03:31 We pull up in a treasure island. That's all we could afford. So we're at like the base room, $89 a night, Treasure Island. And he's like, you know what? That's fine. I'll walk you guys up to your room. Oh, thanks, man. That's so nice of you.
Starting point is 01:03:43 What a great guy. Everybody's listening to this. Like, Brett, how are you not picking up what he's laying down? And he's so touchy-feely with me. But I thought he's just being nice. He's just a great guy. I just thought he's so nice and caring. So careful with me.
Starting point is 01:03:58 Just an affectionate guy. So we get it to the elevator And he starts to hold my hand No And I'm At that point did it click? Now it clicks Okay
Starting point is 01:04:10 And I sober up And I'm thinking Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh I can't do this I can't go through with this And it's like And it's like I just I don't know what to do I'm looking at Cecilia and he's then he reaches and he holds her hand she looks at me like what what what what what do we do
Starting point is 01:04:33 oh my gosh what what what do we do so then we're walking and we're awkwardly holding hands down the hallway i'm just picturing this and it's incredible it's three in the morning holding hands with a chippendale and he goes in we get to the room and he's like may i come in and i'm like well i i i don't know I, you know, I think it would, I think we just need to go to bed, you know, we're just not feeling good and everything. I don't really remember what I said. And it says, okay, well, very nice to meet you. And he hugs Cecilia, and he kisses her on the lips.
Starting point is 01:05:12 And I'm like, okay, whatever, you know. And then he hugs me, and he comes in. And he, these big, like, beautiful African-American lips. and he kisses me and he kisses me wrong and I I don't have the strength or the confidence
Starting point is 01:05:32 to push him away he's like six foot four and he's got these big bear hands around me and he's just and these big lips just like one is touching my nose one is touching my chin
Starting point is 01:05:45 and his tongue just starts to go away and my teeth are closed and he's just trying to push his tongue into my teeth into my mouth. And I'm like, it's okay, man. It's okay. Like, I'm just, it's okay.
Starting point is 01:05:59 Like, I'm good, man. I'm good, man. Oh, what? And so, he's like, I thought you guys would be into this. And Cecilia's like, no, that's, that's fine. We're sorry if we gave the wrong message or whatever. So that's fine. Don't worry about it.
Starting point is 01:06:14 I just hope you guys had a good night. We had a great night. Thanks, man. Great to meet you. And he's like, well, take care, you know, and everything like that. All right. so wait there's more no no so he leaves and cecilia and i we go in we go in and we just lay down and i remember we both have our arms folded we're laying on this queen-sized bed but we're not
Starting point is 01:06:38 talking and i'm thinking what just happened why did i not see this was happening three hours ago oh my god and then all we could think about was we felt so bad that we let him on we're like what a great guy this whole time i'm thinking like this is so canadian of you guys that you're like i'm so sorry you're sorry that you let him on maybe all he wanted was a little white couple to have fun with and i thought to myself like under no circumstances yeah could i have gone through with it right from just like like like and i'm like i'm not homophobic it's just not my thing right but then i think from a physicality part yeah like what would he have done unto me.
Starting point is 01:07:25 What would have happened? Use your imagination, Caitlin. I am. I am. I'm scared. I wouldn't need it. I wouldn't need in a wheelchair to go back to the airport to fly back to Nashville the next morning. If I went through with this, like under no circumstances, am I going to go? And I feel so bad for the guy.
Starting point is 01:07:52 But, oh, my God. I'm red. I'm red because I'm, like, picturing things. And I'm just, like, it's so funny that you guys felt bad about leading. That's my favorite part of the whole story is that you felt bad for leading them on. Yeah. And it just, like, that's why I'm, like, sexual accused. I just, I don't pick on that all, like, pick on it, pick up on it at all, ever.
Starting point is 01:08:16 Oh, that's so innocent and sweet. I just thought he was such a nice guy. And she didn't see it happening either. Maybe she was too drunk or whatever, or maybe she did. But she thought, well, by the time we get the next bar, Brett's going to shut it down. By the time we get to the elevator, Brett's going to shut it down. At that point, you guys. Shut it down yet.
Starting point is 01:08:34 Well, maybe Brett wants this. Maybe like, maybe we've got to hear Cece's side of the story. One of these things. I would love to hear her side. She's like, well, maybe I'm just going to go with it because maybe Brett wants to do this. Yeah. And that you just needed to figure it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:47 I don't know. Well, that's, she's coming on the next podcast for that. I think, yeah, she's. She's got some stories to share. That is, that's a really funny story. Yeah. I'm really glad you shared that. So I don't remember what season of The Bachelor it was.
Starting point is 01:09:05 Yeah. Because I don't think it was yours. Yeah. But one of the Chippendales that we partied with that night was on the show. Oh, yeah. He was a Chippendale and a professional wrestler. His name was Kenny. Oh, nope, that wasn't my.
Starting point is 01:09:21 He was, yeah, he's African American named Kenny. Yeah. He was on Rachel's season. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. So we see him on TV. He was a chippendale, 100%.
Starting point is 01:09:34 Please tell me he was, this is the story. He was. He wasn't him. It wasn't him. But it was his buddy. But we parted with him all night. Oh, that's so funny. No way.
Starting point is 01:09:45 Absolutely. You see him on TV. I don't know if it was a known thing. Oh. But he was 150. percent a chippendale that's so interesting i'll tell you why why i have his autograph no you don't 100 percent oh yeah can you please send me a picture yeah i will yeah i'll find it in in alberta yeah i've got his autograph what because he was signing everybody was signing cards like
Starting point is 01:10:09 eight by tens i'm dying and yeah kenny oh my gosh that's so funny my favorite was that grandma though and the in the feather boa what's her favorite position i didn't even know and she just He grabs this guy with a ponytail, it just says, boom, and she just wins the contest. What was her name? I feel like it was something sassy, like Peggy. Peggy would have been good. Yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:10:31 Like a spicy older lady named, like Blanche. Blanche. I used to want a golden retriever dog that was a girl and name her, because she's a golden girl named her Blanche. That would have been a great name. But ramen works. Yeah. Our next dog, I want to name Dougie. Oh, that used to be my number one dog name in the world.
Starting point is 01:10:51 I wanted to name my dog, Doug, and then Doug the pug happened. And I was like, oh, that's, but Dougie, Dougie is a great dog name. Yeah, or if I ever had a bulldog, I'd name him Rhino. Rino's great. Yeah. There's a little asshole dog at the dog park today. And I don't like to say this because I hate that pit bulls get a bad rep. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:10 Because there are lovely ones out there. There's lovely, all dogs and mean all kinds of dogs. But, and I think they're adorable. This one was really sweet to me and so mean. to ramen and just like kept brating him in the neck. Yeah. It was just so mean and his owner didn't do anything
Starting point is 01:11:26 and I was so upset. But in like the next few months I'll have dog park can you nots for this podcast because smart. There's a lot of them. We are a problem with Charlie's. We never socialized him early.
Starting point is 01:11:39 Charlie does think he's a human. Yeah. Gets along well with people. Yeah. Doesn't get along well with other dogs. Not that he's snippy or yippe he just chases, chases, chases, chases. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:50 And he'll bark. And it's playful because he's like, oh, my gosh, another one of my species. He just never sees other dogs because we travel with him so much. Oh, yeah, yeah. So he's great. Like, you know, we have them in hotels. Like, the people that Charlie's met is crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:07 Yet he meets another dog and he thinks that he rules the roots. Yeah. It's kind of too bad. But it's kind of funny. We'll do that. Well, I think we'll do better because we're going to be a weaner dog family, I think, forever. I love weaner dogs. They're so stinking cute, too.
Starting point is 01:12:22 I love Charlie. Okay, so we're going to play a game. Yes. Okay. Last time you were on the podcast, we were talking about how we say certain words. Okay. Whether we pronounce them in our Canadian accents or if we've started to become a little more American. Or Don, Dawn, Dawn, Dawn, Dawn, Dawn, Dawn.
Starting point is 01:12:39 Yeah. That lasted for 45 minutes at the restaurant with Jason is like, yeah, if the guy's name is Don, it's Don. If the girl's name is Don, then you say Don. And then at one point he went, Don. Dawn. Dawn. Dawn is this. Don is this.
Starting point is 01:12:56 What are you? Who are you? Where did that come from? I don't know. That got heated for a while. It was hilarious. It still heats me. Did you just see me?
Starting point is 01:13:04 I got uncomfortable again. I'm like, that's fucking Don! Okay. So I'm going to spell words. Okay. And you have to tell me how you pronounce it now. Okay. P-A-S-T-A.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Pasta. Thank you. pasta? Yeah. But you still stick to your... Yeah, pasta. Okay. A, B-O-U-T.
Starting point is 01:13:26 About. Oh, that's very American. Is it? Say it again. About. Yeah. No, we're looking out of the sound like that was right, right? Do you drink about me?
Starting point is 01:13:40 Like, do you drink about me? Yeah. The way I drink about you. P-E-C-A-N. Pecan Or in the south Pecan Pecan
Starting point is 01:13:53 I say pecan too Yeah pecan pie Okay A M-E-R-I-C-A-N-O Americano That's Canadian And everybody say Americana Yeah
Starting point is 01:14:07 I actually get awkward Every time That's my drink at Starbucks And every time I go through The drive-thru I get weird and awkward Because I'm like And I go too far the other way
Starting point is 01:14:16 All the time I'm like I'll get an Americano Oh, yeah. And then to make it worse, I add an inch of steamed almond milk. So they're like, this bitch. Okay, P-R-O-C-E-S-S. Process.
Starting point is 01:14:32 Yeah. It's process in here, apparently. I know. You're like, I know this, Caitlin. I've looked you're longer than you. No, no, no. But it's a, I've got my, the guy who cuts my hair. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:43 When I say, how you do it? Yeah. He's like, oh, dude. He's from Philly. Yeah. Ah, dude, it's a process. Oh, yeah. And I don't really know what that means, but it means like, ah, you know what?
Starting point is 01:14:54 It just is what it is. I'm grinding. Yeah. Dude, it's a process. Yeah. And I'm like, no, no, no. I'm going to process what you said. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:01 And I'm going to think about it. And I'm going to try to articulate what it is that you meant. Right. But process is what I think. I always have to just correct myself before I say it. I have to read my audience. S-O-R-R-R-Y. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:15:14 Ah, cute. D-R-A-M-A D-R-A-R-O-O-F Roof Yeah, that's how it's Oh wait, this is a good one It's not on my list, but I just thought of that G-A-R-G-A
Starting point is 01:15:29 Wait G-A-R-G-A-R-G-A No, G-A-R-A-G-E Yeah Garage We do, I say garage Garage I know, why do people say it wrong in America?
Starting point is 01:15:43 I don't know. R-O-U-T-E route yeah me too that's right wait just do americans say root or is that canadian i can't remember because it's like if you're going down uh okay uh brooks and done i was raised off a rule route three yeah rule route yeah right yeah raise off a rule route three oh yeah yeah right okay i like that oh yeah talking that saying that out yeah um okay so that we're just wrapping it up right now two things one I want to know what you have coming up, where people can find you, where they can do the video, where they can donate, all the great things that you want to share right now. Please tell us.
Starting point is 01:16:24 Okay. The new album is called Now or Never. And it comes out on January 1st. Okay. So while so many people probably like you and me and Cece and Jason will be nursing a hangover on New Year's Day, we've got brand new music that'll cheer you up. Ooh, I like that. So the new album is called Now or Never. It's eight songs.
Starting point is 01:16:43 So it's not a large album, but it certainly is mighty. A lot of great tracks on there. I'm so proud of it. Drink About Me as our lead off single. And thanks to you, like, we're at a million streams in the first week. Not thanks to me. We were the number one most added song in Canada on radio. Not a big deal.
Starting point is 01:17:04 Yeah. So I'm really jacked up about that. Wow. And so now it never comes out January 1, 2020. Yeah. January 1st, 2021, another album. We're going to drop. January 1st, 2022, another album.
Starting point is 01:17:18 We're going to drop. We're doing three albums over three years every New Year's Day. That would a great idea. Yeah. So it's constant content. Yeah. We're really excited about this because I had written close to 80 songs for this now or never album, but we only put eight on them. Holy, how did you decide?
Starting point is 01:17:39 Well, now we don't really have to because we're just going to put out another record and another record. Oh, okay, yeah, yeah. But that's awesome. Drink About Me as a song I'm awfully proud of. And thank you and Jason so much for being on there. It was great that you and I were able to catch up, obviously, in the first kind of third of this podcast in that regard. And anything that I could ever do for you, Caitlin, seriously, you don't hesitate to reach out to me or CC any time. And any parents out there that are listening right now, DM me or Cecilia on Instagram at Cecilia at Brett Kisle.
Starting point is 01:18:13 She is so good with, like, just talking with people and other moms and just creating a community. Yeah, I love that. I guess through social media to talk about this. Yeah. So, uh, yeah, reach out to us anytime. Yeah. And do you have a website that people can go to as well? Yeah, Brett Kessel.com.
Starting point is 01:18:28 And subscribe to your YouTube channel. Please do. Yeah. Yeah, our YouTube channel, we're going to be populating that with some really cool shit. So please do. I love that. Uh, and that one that I got to hear. When will people hear that one?
Starting point is 01:18:40 Oh, she drives me crazy. Yeah. The plan is to. release that on like new year's day let me tell you guys that one's fire you like it oh i'm like still dancing in my head to it nice yeah no it's amazing well we just need drink about me to go number one first okay and then well and then we'll keep the momentum going totally fair okay and i'm doing this new thing on tuesdays where i give out an instagrammy so for my instagrammy segment which is it's still kind of new i mention an instagram account and it can be something that's inspiring
Starting point is 01:19:12 empowering, really funny, weird, whatever. Whatever I'm into at the moment. Yeah. And since I've been traveling a lot, there's this account. It's called At Passenger Shaming. That is really resonating with me right now. Especially with all the, my travel, can you not? So this, it's called At Passenger Shaming.
Starting point is 01:19:31 It's, I'm going to look it up for you right now. So passengers on planes that do the wrong thing. It shows people on airplanes taking off their shoes, socks, painting their nails, eating weird food, not wearing pants, sleeping. being on the floor like just shaming the travel idiots so lady and and guy i've i'm flying standby so i can get home yeah and they're they're they're pretty hefty okay it's just all i'm gonna say right and again no judgment is what it is um i'm sitting in between them it's a husband and a wife okay and first they start arguing okay and i'm i'm a little guy but i'm i'm i'm
Starting point is 01:20:11 scrunch. Yeah. Like, it's as if I'm hugging myself. Yeah. Because buddy on the left and misses on the right are, or, they're going into my seat. Yeah. Whatever, not a big deal. Two hour flight.
Starting point is 01:20:22 I can, I can deal with it. Okay. I ain't going to judge. Yeah. But then they start to argue. Oh, no, they don't. Oh, no, they're arguing over me. Huh.
Starting point is 01:20:28 Did you bring, did you get your credit card out? No, it's still in my pocket. Why I told you before he sat down? Are you serious? Make sure you take about your credit cards. I want some snacks. Can you know? Why don't you use your own credit card?
Starting point is 01:20:39 Get it from your purse and whatever like that. So the guy, he just can't reach his credit card from because he sat down. So there's under no circumstances you're going to be able to reach. So I'm in the middle of this. I got my headphones in and I just want to sleep. Yeah. Okay, fine. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:20:55 Well, my phone dies, so I can't listen to music anymore. And the TV's not working on the flight. So whatever, I'll just try to sleep. Of course. Yeah. Well, they're sleeping now. They had their snacks. They found their credit card.
Starting point is 01:21:07 They've now been fed and water. Yeah. So big mister, big messes, they're fine. Yeah. And then they start to snore. Oh, come on. Mouth open, synchronized snoring. Just like, like louder than the playing engines.
Starting point is 01:21:27 And I'm thinking to myself, I have 45 more minutes of this. Had I known about that Instagram account? Yeah. I'd have probably loaded up my story with these guys. Yeah, well, now you know because. Hopefully you're never in that position again. And like, I get why they bought the A seat and the C seat and left B for me. But like that was a worst flight of my life.
Starting point is 01:21:53 I mean, that's kind of a dick move on their part. It is. But then again, it's strategic. Right. I mean, good for them. Yeah. They know what they're doing. They know what they're doing.
Starting point is 01:22:03 And I'm sitting there and I'm thinking, FML. Oh, that's terrible. there's nothing worse than being uncomfortable on a flight luckily you only had 45 minutes of that no no it's two hours there's just 45 minutes left of snoring it was a two hour flight it was not fun i'm so sorry that happened to you yeah i don't know it was what it was and is there anything else that we miss that you want to put out there that you know i i would just talk with you for another two hours i know i can do the same i'm like looking at the time i'm like should we make this a two-parter can we keep going making a three-parter like what can we do seriously i i would talk about your people's
Starting point is 01:22:41 choice award if i could i talk about more traveling we're going to do i talk about more music i talk about all this stuff but that's fine we'll just do another one yeah i was going to say the good news is however you want i'm just ready to come back to the studio the good news is we can always do more i agree yeah uh would it be of any value to do four as in four people you j me so I would love that. I love double dating on the podcast. Okay, let's do it. I absolutely love it. We did it with Courtney and Dave Wilson. Yeah. And we had the best time. Okay. Oh, yeah, I would love to do that. Let's do that. Okay. That's the next one. Okay. And then we can both come up with couple confessions. Oh. And see where that goes. Okay. It's going to be a little raided arm probably. Yeah, but that's what the people want. You got to give the people what they want. Yeah, I agree. Yeah. No, that's, and we're, are you around in October? Yeah. Okay. But the time. I'm going to be a lot. But the time. I'm not. But the time. I'm not. But the time. You got to I made out with the Chippendale, I can't believe I said that. Well, you didn't actually make out. You just were being polite and didn't open your mouth.
Starting point is 01:23:45 I didn't try not to kiss him back, but the strength of his lips and his tongue, my goodness gracious. I can't wait to, actually, I was going to say, I was, I can't wait to say I can't wait to tell Jason I'm going to just make him listen to this podcast. I'm not going to get that image out of my head, and I thank you for sharing that. Oh, my pleasure. It was my pleasure at the time, but it was my pleasure now. Just kidding. I was going to do my tagline, but. Oh, I interrupted you.
