Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story. Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge, there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice. And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am. It's not just any audiobook. This is a full cast performance. So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry, brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
Starting point is 00:00:25 And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads sing is Mr. Darcy. And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything. Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix. Talk about a dream cast. Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics, and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy. And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
Starting point is 00:00:58 So whether it's your first time experiencing Pride and Prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again. So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash Jane Austen. We're on with OTV. Podcast One presents Off the Vine, Grace Therapy. Caitlin Bristow's going to answer your questions. Drink to your confessions and hear what you have to say about anything Bachelor. Let's shake it up some more. Here's Caitlin.

Starting point is 00:03:37 All right, welcome to grape therapy. I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow. Your session is now starting. I'm sitting down with Nicole Williams, a fellow Canadian, Newfoundland, which is where you were born, right? Yes. That's amazing.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Who now lives with her husband in California, where she works as a model and entrepreneur with her very own swimsuit line. Nealyn. Nealyn. You likely also know her from wags. Do you pronounce it wags or is it? Wags. Okay, I was going to say, because, I mean, it's wives and girlfriends of sports stars. Okay. But I always say, I have a new fee slash Canadian kind of a little bit of a twang to my voice. So when I say wags, it's like, wags.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Wags. I do that too. I mean, I'm kidding. Yeah, I do the same thing. Bag. I do the exact same thing. And that's on E network, right? It's on E.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Yes. Well, it was on E. We did three seasons. It's off air now. Okay, okay. Yeah. And you got, that's where your relationship started with your husband, right? well no we were together before we were okay yes oh right because you've been with him for eight years
Starting point is 00:04:34 married for two yes exactly and his name's larry yes and um and your wedding was on the show right my wedding was the season finale of uh season three okay what was that like having oh my god was it like um because i know you know bachelor world people do the the um televised weddings and stuff and i've been to some of them and it's i mean they can make it the most beautiful weddings but i know it's also somewhat produced a little bit was it tricky to honestly everything is a little bit trickier when you know you have cameras on you all the time right right so i was miced for we made a deal and i was like we're gonna mic me for the first portion and then when i start drinking and the party happens we're taking the mic off and they were like
Starting point is 00:05:15 that's so funny because i would want to be miced while drinking i'd be like yes i don't trust myself i don't know what i will say what i'll do that's when i'm the most entertaining oh my god i'm definitely entertaining when i'm drunk but i just don't i don't just i just don't trust myself. I remember, like, season one, we went to Vegas. And I was running around naked. I got pushed in the pool by Natalie and Olivia. We were hitting each other with pillows naked. And I watched it and I was like, devastated. And I was like, oh, my God. Oh, yeah, but that's great TV. It is great TV. But that's so funny. Oh, my gosh. Wait. And so, okay, so you're from, you were born in Newfoundland. Yes. Which, so now you tell me that story. I'm like, well,
Starting point is 00:05:51 yeah. Like, okay, and I have a question because I've talked about Newfoundland a few times on my podcast because I did live there for a little while and I it's one of my favorite places on the planet I think it's amazing that you lived there by the way I was obsessed with it like I want to go back I want to take all of my friends and family just like tipsy Eve do you do tipsy Eve there or is that not worried were you from Newfoundland so I was born in St. John's but I was brought home from the hospital and I grew up in Paradise so I was called yes it's called Paradise I was called Paradise I live on Paradise Road oh that's cool so when I say I'm like I always say Newfoundland except I'm like from paradise.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Right. Wow, that's so tropical sounding. Like, I'm like, I'm like, it's like, good opposite. Yeah. Okay, that's crazy because, um, Tipsy Eve. I don't know if it like came over time, but when I was there, Tipsy Eve is on December 23rd and everybody just goes out drinking and dancing. It's Christmas Eve.
Starting point is 00:06:40 It's, it's the night before Christmas Eve. Oh, so. They call it tipsy Eve. Well, we have mummers. Okay. You know, mummers? No. So it's like, I never heard a Tipsy.
Starting point is 00:06:50 That's so weird. Yeah. That's very strange. It might be a new thing. Maybe it's a new thing. Yeah. I might have did that, like, after I moved. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:56 But mummers are basically, like, we'd be at home, me, my brothers and my mom and dad, and you never know when they're going to come to your door. And usually it's, like, family members or next door neighbors. You know, everybody in Newfoundland's so close, you know everybody. So you get dressed up and, like, basically, like, really shitty clothes, like, bags. And, like, you put a bag over your head. You put, like, multiple pairs of pants on, basically looking, like, hobo chic kind of, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:07:21 But they're very, like, rips in your clothes, like, just, like looking like crap yeah and they come in and they play the mummer song they help like hold a they hold like a stereo yeah um in their hand like this is so old school by the way and they just bang on the door yeah and the song goes any mummers loud in and they like bam bam bam on the door and then me my brother's like oh my god mummers are here and you don't know who they are because they're hiding and they have like that's so fun they were like either ski masks or like bags on their head with holes in the eye so you never know who it is and that's the whole fun in it you don't know at the end then you know at the end like my uncle would
Starting point is 00:07:54 like take it off after but it's that's why the mummer's song oh my god i have to like play it for you after okay it's so crazy no we'll pull it up i'm gonna pull it up all my phones here but i wanted to ask you because um i got screeched in which is what you do if you are going to be like an honorary or what is it an honorary newfee okay so i was on um the bachelor canada after show okay and there was a girl from newfoundland on the show and i kept saying the newfie is my favorite and I got in trouble from not the network but people like said to the network she can't say that it's that they don't like the term new fee they don't well isn't is that is that like why i don't know i feel like maybe because of all the newfy jokes like newfi jokes are basically
Starting point is 00:08:38 calling them stupid and like we're slow and but but i mean when people say oh you're a new fee like new fee to new fee i feel like we're that's like cool like i'm like yeah i'm a newfi like i'm a new i was like so proud to say i'm an honorary newfie okay Is this it? I hope this is the real It's got to get back. I don't sing like Christmas If the mommers are not here
Starting point is 00:08:57 Granny would say Is she made her in her chair? Okay, here comes I'm just going to kick in. Christmas is not like it's lost. Hey, Mom are there. Wait, what's the size? What's the noise out by the board store?
Starting point is 00:09:19 Runny, there's mummers, there's 20, Oh, yes. Okay, everybody needs to go watch this on YouTube. Everybody has to go look at it. Do you see how they look? Isn't it crazy? Okay, this is amazing. Like, to me, that's just so classic.
Starting point is 00:09:34 I'm like that people in Newfoundland would do that. They have all these fun traditions, but I feel like, I feel like over all the years, people just stay the same there. Like, everyone's very traditional. And they're very kind, and nobody cares about certain things. Like, they just all are about having a good time there. They're all about having a great time. like I can I was just back for a wedding yeah and I haven't been back in like 20 years oh my god
Starting point is 00:09:58 the weddings there are insane it was like at my it's like at a bowling alley basically and perfect it was like you know just family fun newfi music uh beers like just turning up and nobody cares nobody cares nobody cares about how you look your style or shoes you're running like nobody cares like it's just about being together yeah and everybody having a great time it's crazy I actually love that so much. That's one thing I really took away from that was living there. I'm like, nobody cares about anything except having a good time. Right. And I just loved it there. I have to go back more often now. Honestly, when I was growing up there, I never really like appreciated because I didn't know. Right. You know, I was dreaming about moving to Hollywood and, you know,
Starting point is 00:10:40 making it out. Yeah. Yeah. And now that I'm where I am, I look back. I'm like, oh my God, like I love being from there. Like I really, really appreciate now how I grew up. You're proud of it. I'm very proud. I like that. Okay, guys. It's 2019, everyone needs to get a great pair of wireless earbuds, but before you go dropping hundreds of dollars on a pair, you need to check out the wireless earbuds from Raycon. I've got them. They're super sharp and comfortable. Raycon earbuds start at about half the price of any other premium wireless earbuds on the market, and they sound just as amazing. The company was actually co-founded by Ray J. And celebrities like Melissa Etheridge, Brandy,
Starting point is 00:11:16 even Cardi B, are already obsessed. Racon's E-50 wireless earbuds have totally changed the game for me. They're super comfortable and so easy to take anywhere. Unlike some of your other wireless options, Racon earbuds are both stylish and discreet with no dangling wires or stems. And of course, they don't just look great. They sound great too. I was using the E50 eardrums other day, actually, and they are some of the most comfortable and best sounding headphones I've used. I really love the perfect fit tips. They don't fall out when I'm running on the treadmill. They're probably the only earbuds that stay in for me. Raycon offers their wireless earbuds for everyone in a range of fun colors and at an unbeatable price.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Go to buy raycon.com slash fine to get 15% off your order. That's buy raycon.com slash fine for 15% off Raycon wireless earbuds. If you've been eyeing a pair, now's the time to get an amazing deal. One more time, buy raycon.com slash fine. You're from there, but when did you move, you moved to L.A. from there? No, actually, I moved from Newfoundland, 14. Okay. With my mom and my two brothers, she, like, packed up the car and put, like, a trailer hitch on the back.
Starting point is 00:12:23 Stop. And we sold our house, and we drove to Toronto. No, wait, that's how far of it? Honestly, we had to take a ferry. And when I was that young, it felt like we were driving for a week. Yeah. But I know it was only like a few days. Okay. But you take a ferry across.
Starting point is 00:12:38 And then what did you do in Toronto? Did you start modeling there? Yeah. So as soon as we, because I've, you know, growing up in Newfoundland, I had just big dreams. Right. Big, big dreams. And my mom just wanted. wanted more of an opportunity for us to be able to, you know, achieve those dreams and you don't
Starting point is 00:12:53 get those, you know, there's nothing really like to, they don't have like, you know, big buildings and like magazines and you can't go on, just, just not for that lifestyle in Newfoundland. So when we got to Toronto, my mom found a place like a house for us. And the minute, we were still unpacking boxes and I was on the phone in the kitchen. I remember on the house phone. And I was just calling all the agencies downtown Toronto. I was like, hey, do you? have open call castings? Are you accepting new models? And I literally got the bus downtown in Toronto and I went to every single agency. A little hustler from a young age. I really did. And I went to every agency and I had a lot of doors closed on me saying, you know, you're just not yet or, you know,
Starting point is 00:13:35 you're too short or you're too skinny and your eyebrows are too thin or, you know, just like literally, like it's crazy, the feelings that. How did that shape you into who you are today? Because if I, I mean, I get it to some extent because I grew up in a dance. world. And I remember, I mean, it was always about your body type and the way you looked and certain body types for being a ballerina and all that kind of thing. And it was really tough on me. And even just, even just people saying, you know, like being too skinny, there's body shaming in every different way. But people think being skinny or too skinny or being told you're too skinny isn't body shaming, but it is. It is. And so growing up in that, and that was,
Starting point is 00:14:15 you know, that's a crazy time to be told those kinds of things. You were in your teens. I was going, like, I was going to, you haven't even, like, gone into your real body yet. I know. I would go to school with, like, double pants on and double shirts so I could look, like, bigger because I would get teased. Yes. But honestly, um, there was one agency next who I'm still with now. Yeah. Um, they were like, gave me a chance.
Starting point is 00:14:36 And they gave, they signed me. And I've been with them ever since. And from then on, obviously, I have more and more agencies in every, you know, city in different countries. But they gave me a chance and they signed me when I was like 14. Wow. Wow. Yeah. You've been with them since 14.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Yeah. I've been with them. them forever it's crazy they're like my family so yeah I mean it definitely tore me down like hearing a lot of you know the hearing a lot of the things that were wrong with me in other people's eyes but I was so hungry to you know reach my goals and like achieve you know what what I've always dreamed of yeah so I just kept going even though I was like for you you know I mean that's tough to do at any age let alone that age it is it really is it really is it really It really is. Good for you. That probably has like shaped you in so many ways. It has. Yeah, you get thick skin and, you know, you grow. And I'm still growing. I mean, I still have, you know, things that, you know, I might be uncomfortable about or, you know, insecure about. But I definitely have so much confidence in myself because I see how far I've came with just, you know, that drive of wanting to, you know, get there.
Starting point is 00:15:41 You know, you have to be driven and have thick skin and, you know, I'm such a diva right now. I'm putting on a warm towel. So, I this is kind of funny because I just did a podcast. Hold on. I need my warm. It's so nice. Oh, my gosh. It looks very warm. There you go. No, I'm okay. I don't know why you're so cold. I'm freezing. It's like 100 degrees outside. I know. I think it's, I've just been sitting in this AC room for too long. I did a podcast where I was saying I was, I'm not like a high maintenance person, but I have like weird things like with my my boyfriend just moved in with me. And I, I, love a warm towel out of the shower and I tried to explain that to him and he was like okay that's kind of like a high maintenance thing but whatever and so I was telling this to my girlfriend on my podcast and she was like you are a strong woman get your own warm towel and I was like okay and it was so funny because my boyfriend bought me for my birthday a towel warmer that goes beside the shower and I'm just reliving like this insecure moment of mine right now where I'm like oh my god I just got brought a warm towel in this cold AC room is it a warm towel yes they warmed it for you
Starting point is 00:16:48 I'm pretty sure it was just out of the sun, but it's a warm towel and I just can't tell you how much comfort it brings me. Oh my God. I love that. I didn't even know there was such thing as as towel warmers. Get yourself a towel warmer. It's honestly the best thing in the world. So after Jason made fun of me for all this and I had my moment, he got me this towel warmer and now he uses it all the time. He's like, I get it. Oh my God. I get it. Because who wants to be cold when you get out of the shower. No. That's the worst feeling. I'm telling you, get yourself a towel warmer. So tell me about your swimsuit line and the journey and what it's been so far and what made you decide to start that?
Starting point is 00:17:19 So I've always wanted, I've always been in love with fashion, number one. My mom, I grew up watching my mom sew. My mom could make anything. Like if you gave her this bikini top and said, here you go. Here's the material. Go for it. Which, by the way, we're wearing the same bikini right now. So you're wearing the same bikini top.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Yeah, so she, yeah, she, I knew how to like a thread a sewing machine. And so since I was like six. Yeah. Wait, that is a skill I've always wanted to have. Oh, my God. I took home at class and I couldn't sew for the way for me. No, I can't do it. I would like buy like I'd be shopping and I'd see like a pair of pants and they were large and they didn't have a small so I'm like it's okay I'll take them I'll just bring them home and make them smaller. That's cool. I've always yeah I've always loved fashion especially like I've always wanted to model and that's you know been my job on fashion's forever part of that yeah and then a fashion's a part of that and I've become you know I just I did a lot of swimwear and a lot of lingerie modeling and that kind of just made me you know I just got to a point of my life where I was like you know I'm ready to bring something else
Starting point is 00:18:18 into this. Like, I'm ready to add something to my life. I mean, it makes sense for you to have a swimline. It makes sense. I feel like I'm somewhat of a professional and like how things are supposed to fit and have supposed to make you feel. Right. You know, so, and swimwear, I feel like is the hardest thing to shop for. It's the hardest thing to shop for. It is. Yeah. So you really, I really take pride in, you know, making my pieces fit well. And so that way you feel like, you know, if you go for a cannonball in the pool, your top's not going to fly off or, you know, You know, if you're not feeling like you're most confident. Like, I have high waist.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Yeah. That's high waist is where it's at. High waste is where it's at. Even today, like, you know, I'm going down and we're with Revolve here in Mexico. And so there's, you know, you're a model. There's a lot of models and ever. And I'm going down there and I'm like, is it bad if I just go to a cannonball? Like, you know, just like live my best life.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Because I, I'm, I can not. I don't know how to post for photos. I somehow can, like, if I need to, I'll make it work. Right. But I get awkward. I'm like, how do I? I just need to. direction like so being here with revolve everyone just knows exactly their like angles and like where
Starting point is 00:19:22 they need to be in this background and I'm like dang can I just do like a big cannonball in the pool and like get a shot of that that's fun though I like I try to do more of that I'm like I need to bring life to my photos I need to show people what my personality yeah I love that so much that's so funny I'm like yeah you're Canadian you would do a cannonball in the pool I love that you just said that but yeah that's I think that's such an important part of swimwear is is feeling good in it Feeling good and feeling confident. I mean, not everybody wants to be, you know, basically naked in front of strangers and like pool parties. Like you want to, you want to feel your best.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Yeah. So I just, you know, I listen to my customers. I listen to their feedback. Yeah. And each collection, I take all that feedback and put it towards, you know, putting that in my next collection. Yeah. So where can people buy it online? Like, what's the website?
Starting point is 00:20:11 It's Nielin Collection.com. And that's N-I-A, right? N-I-A. L-Y-N-N-N. Okay. Amazing. And can they find that through your Instagram as well? Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:20 So it's in my bio in the Instagram. And I also have an Instagram page for a Neal Lynn collection on Instagram. Okay. Great. And what is your one favorite item from your most recent collection if you had to choose? Ooh. I love my extreme high waist bottoms. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:35 They're like the perfect cut. And I wear them more than I wear like any of like my string bikinis. Really? Yeah. Because I feel like you can, with my new collection, the thing that I love about it the most is it's mix and match. Yeah. So I only have like, how many styles? I think six styles.
Starting point is 00:20:52 And they're all, there's only like four different colors. And so you just mix the top with a different color. Like in my campaign, I was wearing like a black bottom and a white top or wear orange bottom. Yeah, I love it. That's cool. Is that that one that you're wearing in your Instagram, the white one with the, did it say your label name like right here or something?
Starting point is 00:21:09 It was like, oh, so that actually is my new collab that I did with the blonde Republic. So I designed those. Really? Yeah. Okay. Yes. Your Instagram is fire. Thank you. Yeah. And now when I was like, oh, that's something I can get down with. Yeah. Oh, I just, yeah, I did a, I did a small, like, sporty collab with this amazing line from Australia at the Blount Republic. Awesome. I designed all those pieces. Yeah, it looks, it looks badass. I like it. All right. You can own iconic luxury items at unreal values with the Real Real.

Starting point is 00:22:51 But together a lot longer. So not quite newlyweds anymore. But how's your relationship changed and evolved since you got married? Is it any different? Yeah. I feel like, I mean, we've always been so close. Like, Larry and I are best friends. We do everything.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Oh, I love that together. Really? Everything. Like, when you see me, they're like, you wonder if Larry's not with me, it's awkward. It's like weird. Really? Is he here with you? He's here.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Oh, yes. awesome yeah so we're always together he's best friends with all my best friends like if i'm not in town i'm traveling for work like my best friends are like still with him like hanging out like they'll go to dinner they're at the house yeah it's like a family he my friends love him he's just so cool i've never had a relationship like like like like this before that's so it's very special to have someone that is your partner and best friend that you want to do everything with like a lot of people are in these relationships or they're like god can't wait to get away yeah like guy strip or girl's trip like totally i feel like that's healthy too oh yeah sure we'll
Starting point is 00:23:43 definitely do that but honestly like you know my best friend shenina she's here on the trip as well so i took her and like 13 girls for her bachelorette to jamaica and larry came uh really he did because shenina wanted him there like she's just like out of every like he's my best friend what's your favorite thing about him oh my gosh um he i feel like he's so nurturing oh wow he just cares wow right so if i'm like is he canadian he's not he's from chicago oh he's from chicago Yeah, but he's just very nurturing. So, like, if I stub my toe, he's like, oh, my God, baby, are you okay, do you need ice? Like, he's just, like, cares so much.
Starting point is 00:24:18 Wait, that's, like, not a typical trait in a man. That's usually a woman's, like, nurturing. Like, you don't hear about men being nurturing. I know. When I, he got here before me because I was in Miami working. Yeah. And he was already at the welcome party. And I went in, I got my bags, and I went into our room.
Starting point is 00:24:33 He had an intent burning, and he had a note on the bed that said, I love you. Are you kidding? And he didn't unpack his stuff because he wanted me to feel like it was still my room. and he didn't want to, like, mess it up. I'm like, babe, you are so thoughtful. Like, where did I find you? Are you kidding? He's so cute.
Starting point is 00:24:47 And this is eight years later. Yes, eight years later. We don't want to cry. I know, me too. I'm really emotional right now because if I'm telling you the truth, I'm on anxiety medication and. Oh, my God. I was going to last hard on me right now.
Starting point is 00:24:58 And I'm sorry. I'm so honest. But what happened was I forgot to pick up my refill before coming here. So I've had to lower my dose to, like, save it and I'm with so much more emotional so I'm like literally trying on to cry right now that's probably the funniest thing I've heard all day yeah I know I'm like you know what see this is a thoughtful boyfriend of two Jason was like babe I'm worried about you like what can I do and I was like could you actually go pick up my prescription and send it to me overnight it
Starting point is 00:25:34 to me in Mexico so he did that and he was like he looked at the milligram dose it she was like oh yeah Babe, I could see how you're not feeling right. Oh, my God. Because if I'm being honest, I actually had a huge meltdown the other night and I couldn't figure out why. And then I was feeling dizzy the next day. And then Cleo was like, well, I was like, I missed two days of this medication. And she was like, yeah, that'll do it.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Oh, no. Were you having like sweating? Yes. Like, I was having withdrawals. And I couldn't figure it out because I'm just not used to like being on something, I guess. But like it goes to show how much it's helping me. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Oh, my gosh. Sorry for the like... Seeing a difference, huh? Honest moment right now, but I, you know, you know me. I'm an open book here. Anyways, that is so freaking cute. Yeah. Like, that just gives me so much hope because I always have this fear of people falling out
Starting point is 00:26:23 of love and like that happening to me. And to know that eight years later, he's still being that thoughtful to you is so romantic. I know. Starting point is 00:27:22 And it better be good. This is Off the Vine, Grape Therapy. Where did you get? Where did you find this guy? I don't know. And honestly, like, he loves our dogs. Like, there are children. And to watch him with, I know, to watch him with my, with our.
Starting point is 00:27:39 dogs it's just like oh my god like to ever i feel like if a man loves animals oh it's the biggest turn on he is that's it's a keeper it's a keeper yeah animal lovers yeah we jason is so cute he called me the other day because i'm i'm like a little bit um crazy about training our dog raman right now because he's a rescue from south korea and he like is he wasn't taught and he's already won so now you know trying to teach a one-year-old dog things that he doesn't know it's really hard and I'm very specific about how it needs to be done. And I go on my furbo cam the other day and I'm watching Jason train ramen and he did it wrong. Did he just talk through it?
Starting point is 00:28:17 Yeah. And I was like, hey! Hey, you cannot do that. And then he called me like later and he goes, do you think I'm a bad dog dad? Oh, no. No, you're trying. You're so cute. Oh, how cute is it when you watch them through the dog cam?
Starting point is 00:28:30 I love it. Honestly, it's like it's become a little bit of an addiction. I know. Where I just go on and if they're not there, I'm like, what am I going to do with my life? I know, me too. I love watching my dogs on the dog camp. I just stare at them and like,
Starting point is 00:28:42 and then I try to like talk to them, but then I feel bad because I feel like I'm teasing them because they're looking around for me and I'm like, Mommy loves you. I know. Oh my gosh, I love when I meet other dog people. You're a fellow Canadian and a dog lover.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Okay. I'm obsessed with dogs. Wait, so, okay, I need to go back to this relationship stuff. So how has it evolved? How is it at the beginning if it's like this now? Yeah, so honestly, he gets better and better and better. But when I first met him,
Starting point is 00:29:06 he was really young. Um, you know, and like anything when you first meet somebody, you know, you just have to get to know each other. And, you know, he, he was a little bit of a bad boy when I met him. Yeah. But, you know, he tells me all the time, like, I feel like I fall more and more in love with you like every day. And he's like, I can't even believe like I used to even be like different. Like, you know, it's like, we have such a strong bond. And he's just like, I love being married. He's like, I don't even like, I can't even believe I used to be like, you know, like a type of. But that's because he probably, like, lived that life and then realizes true happiness is, is commitment and, like, being with your best friend. Right. Sometimes you don't know what that is until you have it until you find it. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:49 Because, I mean, I was a bit of a wild child in my 20s. And now I'm like, oh, my gosh, I'm so glad I did that because now I love commitment and I love loyalty and, like, being, I agree. I think Jason, he feels like one of my best friends that we do everything together. And once you have it, you're like, okay. Yeah. this is this is a happier place to be then right then before yeah I'd rather have it go that way like okay it's rocky at the beginning but now you're like amazing yes rather than the reverse where
Starting point is 00:30:15 you try to act amazing and try to be so good and then you get to a point where like wait I missed out yeah I want to work through so much together already yeah and now you that's so great wow I love you guys relationship I need to meet Larry oh you definitely have to meet him he's out there with Chenina waiting what so what was um what he's an athlete what did he do uh football football okay he was a linebacker on the chargers for about five years and then he played with Tampa Bay for his last two. Okay. Cool. Oh, that's awesome. And now he's retired. And how has that been with your relationship? Because I know from, you know, I was, I still have so many girlfriends that are married to hockey players just
Starting point is 00:30:51 when I dated a hockey player that I know that's a really tough transition for some athletes to, you know, that's your whole life from when you're a baby to like, you know, you are so routine and it's the structure and you know what you're doing every day. And as an athlete, it's a tough transition. And I know, and sometimes that can be tricky for relationships to come out of that. Yeah. So how has that been since he's retired and, or is it nice because now you get to spend more time together? Well, yeah, it's so nice because I get to be with him all the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:17 You know, when he was playing in Tampa, I had to spend a month. Like, you know, sometimes we didn't see each other for like four weeks. Yeah. Because, you know, it was too hard with me with work. And I would travel with two dogs. I'd buy an extra seat. Oh, my gosh. And I'd travel with the dogs to go to Tampa.
Starting point is 00:31:29 I'd stay there for a couple weeks and take the dogs back. It was stressful. Wow. Yeah. But, um, I would say, like, I loved. every minute of, you know, that the football life, you know, going to the games and like, supporting him and just being a part of that world. It was so fun. But, you know, after a while, like when he decided he was, you know, going to retire, because his body was, like, really broken up.
Starting point is 00:31:50 I can't get over what, what, he's had like two, he's had like four knee surgeries. He's had, like, when I met him, actually, when I met him, he was in a boot. Really? Yeah. So he broke his foot. He broke both feet. His like, everything is just, we had to go to like, you know, we'd fly to a Germany to get like his knee treatments. And so he's just happy, you know, he's, he played football since he was nine. Yeah. And, you know, he was just, it was time. He was, he was ready. And now he's doing, you know, he has a passion, he has another, other passions. And he has, you know, he's in real estate and, oh, that's cool. He has a private investment firm. And he's just really, happy about his life right now. And it's going really, really well. Okay. That's great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Yeah. So there was a rocky moment. Of course. Like there's a gap in between where you're, like you said, there's like, he's so used to waking up, working out. And so there was a moment, there was like a good year where he just didn't work out at all. Yeah. Because he's like, okay, now what? Right. I don't have to. But he's back on track now.
Starting point is 00:32:43 But it did take a little while. Yeah. Yeah. No, that's, that's typical for, you know, when you come out of that. But that's great that he has other passions that he can go after and stuff now. What is your guys' favorite date night activity as a couple? Ooh. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:57 I think that I was going to say going to the movies. Yeah. We love going to the movies. We like going to either I pick or, um, Sunset 5, the AMC, because they have wine. Yes, it's like the VIP theater where we can drink. So we get like a bottle of red wine. Stop flirting with me.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Yeah, that's amazing, yeah. You get a bottle of red wine, we have blanket, and we just go to the movies. And then we like to, if we go to one of the close movie theaters, we walk home together. So, yeah, we just like, I love your guys' relationship and I don't even know that much about it. But I just feel like it's so, like, I'm like, that's so sweet. Like, how do you guys keep it like that? Like, just because you are best friends? I think that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:33:36 I just, honestly, I've... You just respect the hell out of each other. Yeah, we just really love being around each other. And I mean, if he annoys me, I just, like, you're annoying me. Like, go over there. Yeah, which is so normal. I'm glad he said that because I'm like, please tell me he annoys it at some point. No, definitely, he annoys me.
Starting point is 00:33:54 But we give each other space and we know when we need to give each other space. We have a question. Do you guys go back and watch the episode of your wedding? Actually, I don't even think I've watched my wedding episode yet. Okay, well, I'm going to. I can't wait. Let me know how it was. I was actually like, that night was such a blur for me.
Starting point is 00:34:10 I feel like my wedding was over in like two hours. It was like that. Right. And it was over. And then when it aired, I think we were like on our, I don't know if we were like, we took a really late honeymoon. I feel like we were out of town when it aired and I was just like, I'll watch it later.
Starting point is 00:34:23 And I don't think I ever watched it. Really? Oh my gosh. That's so funny. I've seen clips of it like on the internet. Yeah, I'm like, I'm definitely going to watch it tonight. I like, can't wait to see you and Larry together. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:34:35 I actually am thinking now, were you down in the pool? Were you guys in the pool together? We were not at the pool. Oh, I just saw a really cute couple in the pool being all loving. Oh, really? I was like, that must be. Oh, honestly, like, I'm not even really like a lovey-dovey person. He's the lovey-dovey.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Really? So, and when I drink really heavy and I wake up in the morning, I get like, if he starts being too lovey, I'm like, get depressed. I'm like, I can't, I need to. Oh, really? I'm so needy when I'm home over. So I'm like the most loving, needy. I'm like more loving.
Starting point is 00:35:02 Really? I'm not super loving, Devy. Cleo, do you think I'm lovey-dovey? Like, I don't like being lovey-dovey in public. No, me either. You're not? I'm, no, I'm not really a super lovey-dovey person, but when I'm hung over, the loviest doviest of them all. Like, yes.
Starting point is 00:35:18 I am like, touch me and I'm going to vomit. Like, that's me if I do an edible. Yeah. Oh, my God. I'm like, I just don't feel sexy or like, I just feel like such a weirdo goofball. I'm like, don't touch me here. We're just like, like, he's a bro to me when I'm high. he used to get so offended because he'd be like okay fine you hate me okay cool i'm just gonna walk away
Starting point is 00:35:42 but now he'll like he'll reach over to give me a hug him oh no okay okay okay she's hung over yeah i'm not gonna touch her and so then he'll just butter me up and get me a tea and give me some advil anything you need like be extra nice and like just stay away that's so funny oh my gosh all right so hog andaws they know your best moments are made even better with a side of their most extraordinary ice cream. Yeah. She doesn't. Yeah. God. I want to do, I don't want to do work with Chloe.
Starting point is 00:38:33 Oh, she's the best. She's always been my favorite. Her and Courtney are my favorite Kardashian. Oh my God. Courtney is hilarious. Did you get to meet her too? I love, yeah. Yeah.

We're, um, we went to obviously the dinner and we were doing tequila shots when we got back and I'm like let's go for a drunk swim and so we went swimming in the pool yeah and I'm getting clear to do all these stories she goes I think this is enough and a really great story okay because I kept trying to do more and I was like yeah let's do this now and she's like overkill overkill was like nope yeah this is the perfect amount of stories you need to stop and I was like okay totally get it so like me I can't stop like Larry has to like put me in like a straight jacket after like a certain time

Starting point is 00:40:08 If the sun's not coming up, I'm not that long enough. Do you have like an alter ego like a Miami name like person? Because I'm Hurricane Katrina. You are? Yeah. That's me. Oh, are you big into yoga? I'm trying to be. Cool. I mean, I don't do yoga as right now, but Larry's very big into it. And so I always listen to him and watch documentaries and like, I want to be like that. Yeah. I just need to be able to like calm myself. That's me. I'm like, I want to be this like Zen yogi who I'm like, I'm so calm, but I'm on anxiety meds.
Starting point is 00:44:53 And I'm not mom at all. I'm Hurricane Katrina on Selexa. See, that's what I need. I have, like, bad anxiety, too. So I need to be able to, like, find some inner peace. And so that's a book. If I had time and I had to read a book, I would start reading that. Okay.

Two T's. You know when you, like, start a name, like, when you don't think Instagram's going to be serious. You think it's going to be for fun. You only have, like, one follower. Yeah. I was like, just Nick. That sounds cool. Totally. Two T's. And now I want
Starting point is 00:47:34 my name. And God, like, I cannot. I've offered money to get my name. And nobody's responding to me. I'm, like, DMing them like crazy. Like, whoever has my name, please give it up. I like to think of myself as a creative human being. But when I thought of my Instagram, I was like, at Caitlin Bristow. And I'm really happy about it now. People know that's your Instagram. A lot of people can't find me. Like, you couldn't find it. Well, I mean, you're doing just fine on Instagram.
