I love your mug. I was just watching your stories. Your mug says boss-ass bitch. I love it. And you are one. And I wanted to get into it. But first, I love how open you are about getting your period twice a month and that you've been suffering with these, all these hormones and early stages of PCOS. Now, I don't know about it, but I have my own struggles with hormones and everything. But is that something that you have to kind of just rule out certain things and get down to the point like, okay, maybe I have this? Or is there like a certain test you could take? Like, how did you figure that out?
Yeah. So I was honestly just listening to tons of stuff about it because I'm so intrigued. But a lot of, if you go to the right person, like a hormone specialist, usually they can tell off the bat if you have it. They like can ask you a couple things. Like the main things is like, are you growing hair in areas? You shouldn't as like a woman. So like for me, like I'll get like chin hairs and like a little bit of chest hair, which is like not freaking right. And then acne is like another one and then weight loss and then weird periods. So really they can like ask you a couple.
couple questions and be like, okay, I can tell. But for me, to really see if I had it,
I went and got a blood test where she could see, like, my hormone levels. And that's how we
kind of figured it out. Yeah. Yeah, I thought I had the same thing. I had to go and get all my
hormones checked because I was like, something's going on with me. And it wasn't that, but I'm
still convinced that's what I have. But anyways. Someone said that it's that the tests aren't
always like, you know, these freaking tests. Like, I mean, we could go all day. But the test
aren't 100% so I would if you're like kind of feeling in your gut like I think this is it
and symptoms that I would probably like kind of run with it yeah it's like if it walks like
PCOS and talks like PCOS but I'm so good to comment and shout about it I just don't know
like so much about it yet because I just went out but I'm so open to talk about whatever
yeah I'm the same way I mean me too I don't know too much about it but I just know I have so
many hormonal issues. And I like when I come across somebody that also is open to talking
about it. But I just wanted to talk about getting in the right mindset when it comes to fitness,
because fitness, of course, involves a lot of training your body, working on your physical goals,
but it's also such a huge mental game as well. Like for me, the hardest part is getting my shoes
on and going and staying in the zone, especially while being at home. But I wanted to know some of the
ways that you push yourself and all the people who follow you and who you train to do their best
and try their hardest because it's really hard to stay in that mindset sometimes.
It's so freaking hard.
And even me, like, it's my job, which I think it's so funny that I pick this job.
I'm like, I pick the job to work out all the time.
But I love it so much because it's changed my life.
But even for me, like truly this morning, especially like I said, I'm having some periods
a month, TMI, welcome everyone.
But I'm like exhausted.
I'm not like feeling incredible.
And this morning I was like, I need to get a good work cut in.
And I know it'll make me feel good.
I can tell the difference of when I shouldn't and when I should.
And truly during the workout, like I sounded like a crazy person, but I was like,
let's go, Samantha.
Like I was like my own cheerleader while going through the workout because, I mean, there was,
I didn't want to be in there.
I didn't want to do it.
But I think I just always remember that I don't want to be at day one because day one is a rough
day.
You know, day one's like, okay, here we go.
Let's get the shoes on.
Is this even going to work?
like you know so i think i just remember that consistency is key and like you feel will feel
incredible after you're done working out so i think i just really based off i don't want to feel
that day one so let's keep it going and then usually it just like pushes me a little further
that's a good point actually just keeping that like momentum of not going backwards like always to
push forwards because oh i've been there so many times i get in the zone for like months at a time
and then i completely stop and i'm like eh i'll get back to it tomorrow
and then tomorrow comes, oh, I'll get back to it the next day.
And then, you know, right away, you're like, oh, wait, I'm back to square one.
Why did I stop?
So that's a good, because I always tell people that have small goals, too.
Like, instead of just like, okay, for a year, I'm going to do this.
Or for six months, like, it's like take it day by day, push yourself, set those small
goals to just keep going, you know?
Right, right.
And like you said, it's about how you feel after a good workout.
And I'm definitely one of those people that it helps me mentally to work out.
Or I'm just on a high.
I feel like I can take on anything the rest of the day if I get up and get up and do a workout.
A hundred.
Yeah, you feel like some type of accomplishment.
You feel good about your body.
You feel accompanying your skin, which then also goes across through, you know, meetings,
whatever it is.
Yeah, I completely agree.
So what, you've got to remember that feeling for sure.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
And just when we first started talking, you said that you picked this job and that it has
changed your life.
How has it changed your life?
I definitely grew up in.
a healthy household, but getting, moving to L.A. by myself, it was kind of the time for me to
choose, either to go the healthy route or kind of mess around and do another way. And I definitely
dabbled in both. And I mean, I just went through stages of like mood swings and not feeling
incredible and my energy towards other people, my energy towards life and my energy towards
myself, my connection towards myself. And I really like had this epiphany of like, wow,
when do I feel my best? And I feel my best when I'm taking it?
care of my body. And that is through food, that is through working out. And then I also kind of wanted
to do it in a way where I enjoyed it more because I also grew up where my dad would go to the gym
for two hours. Like he was that guy and my brother's still that guy. And I'm like, I am not that
girl. Like I don't have time for that. I have some of the other things I want to do. So I think
it was like, how do I actually enjoy it a little bit more and not make it feel like this is such a
short. That's where I kind of tried to make less time, but still have great results.
Yeah, because I was seeing on your story that, you know, a lot of people don't believe that
you can see results and feel results and really get what you need to get done at the gym in
only 30 minutes. But I found that very inspiring because I'm like, I too like to go 30 to 45
minutes. And so I was like, okay, you're telling me there's a chance. So why is that such a
myth that you have to go to the gym for like two hours to see results? I mean, again,
It's kind of what goals you want.
Like what results do you want?
What lifestyle do you want?
My brother who goes to the gym for two hours is in the bodybuilding space.
Of course, that's where he does need to be for two hours.
But I know that for me, I could be at the gym for two hours,
but I'd be taking way long of rest.
Like I'd be like in the corner on my phone for 10 and then, you know,
maybe playing around with the other gym equipment.
So I think actually a lot of people can have shorter workouts.
if they didn't have as much rest time, they were really strategic of what exercises are doing,
repetition, and really just confining the amount of rest time and distractions.
Like I think we're so distracted in workouts that the workout ends up being an hour and a half
because we were talking to a friend, we're on Instagram, whatever it is.
So I think I just like get in the zone.
I also do it like on a time base.
So I'll do 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off usually.
So I'm on this clock where I'm just like, let's go.
I don't have time to, like, do other things.
Yeah, I mean, the phone is always a main distraction in my life.
And I use it as an excuse.
Like, I'll stay on toilet longer just to be on Instagram longer.
Like, I find places like the gym.
I'm like, oh, okay, I'll stay at the gym for an hour.
But like 20 minutes of that, I'm just like scrolling Instagram like an idiot.

I think one perception that some people have is, you know, that fitness is pretty much about
looking your best. And I mean, you look pretty dang amazing. Don't get me wrong. But it's also
so much more than that. So what do you feel like are some of the parts of your job that
really give you the meaning and energy to keep going? Like I'm sure you've had so many interactions
with followers and people that you've trained. But what is it that that gives you the means and
energy to keep going? Again, I think truly actually, I haven't had any crazy health issues and
figuring out so many things now that are going on with my body. But I do think I haven't had a lot of
crazy health issues because I take care of myself and seeing a lot of people around me that have
gone through severe health issues or have had to change their diet routines at a younger age or
an older age and just seeing how much it affects your life. I think I just keep going with like,
yeah, I look good, but the inside is the best part because, you know, I'm maybe not getting sick as much
or I, you know, I just feel, my posture is up more straight because I'm feeling confident.
I'm feeling sexy.
You know, I'm eating so my skin looks good or my gut feels good.
Like, I feel like it just all plays out to overall well-being.
And I feel really great.
That's so true.
It is.
It's so I've had so many conversations with health and wellness or life coaches or anything
about how food becomes fuel, like how good it makes you feel what you're putting
into your body, seeing it for energy.
So I think that is really important.
And obviously it's 2021, we just went through, like, the craziest time where everybody's at home and most of us are still at home out of our typical routines and going to the gym or whatever.
But do you have any recommendations for people staying healthy, both in terms of working out and eating while while at home?
Because I think one thing I think has been really helpful during this time is sticking to some sort of routine or structure.
Like, that helps me feel more sane in my day and working out has become part of that.
So do you have like a typical routine each day?
And what does that look like?
Yeah, I'm a crazy routine.
person and it's gotten even crazier, especially in quarantine, because I think we needed that
structure to feel like we have things to do. It's like, you know, we're not, we're in our house
all day long. So for me, I have a crazy morning routine just because I think that's like the first
part of your day. And I feel like everyone's talking about a morning routine, which is amazing.
I'm like, I love that we're all talking about morning routines because I think that they are the
game changer. Like if you don't have a morning routine, like we got to get it going.
Because, you know, I just think that sets the tone for your day.
It's the time where we at least get a little bit of silence before the chaos happens
before the whole day comes out of.
So my morning routine is super structured and super important to me.
I have a journal routine.
I have a meditation routine.
I have a walk.
I have, you know, time with my partner.
Like, because him and I don't see each other.
Even though we're in the same house, we don't see each other all day because we're in different
offices.
I'm in the living room.
But so, yeah, I feel like having a morning routine is really important.
and then that workout routine.
I think that's also really important, too,
if you know for a fact,
you will not work out in the afternoon.
That's for me.
Like, I know for sure,
if I don't get a workout in the morning,
your girl is not going later.
So I just feel like I have to get it done in the morning.
So, like, that's for sure part of my routine.
But a routine is definitely something I need.
I agree.
I think it's,
I don't know why it is so hard to get into a routine
if you're a person.
Like I used to not have any routine
and I kind of functioned.
way. Like I was like, oh, wake up with my body lets me. And I'll just do this and I'll just go day by day.
But I don't know when that's shifted, but it must have been over quarantine where I actually am just in a
better mind space for the whole day if I get up and do a morning routine. And I think it is so important.
And part of that is, you know, eating a healthy breakfast, working out, all those good things.
And you mentioned that you have a partner. You guys are obviously living at home. You're in a relationship in
quarantine. That's always stressful. But you also started a business together, which is,
a huge move in, I mean, in a relationship and your career, and it's called reset and aims to
bring wellness and performance practices to today's generation by merging them with a twist
of our style and some pop culture. Okay, I love this. Explain reset to me and how people can
get involved. Yeah. So this is kind of like a better sweet moment because reset, my partner and I
did start last year. And it was a, we kind of started it because after we kind of wanted a place.
we have a lot of different friend groups.
So not everyone's into health and wellness.
But we wanted a place where everyone could come.
And instead of like drinking at the party, they could, I mean, I love a good drink.
But another type of party could be like, okay, let's all take care of ourselves and leave feeling
freaking amazing and trying new products, new brands, all that.
So we kind of started to do it after festivals.
So we would hop up a tent and like have pretty much a spa day on steroids.
So it was like facials.
It was cryotherapy.
It was IVs.
It was different types of massages that are supposed to make you feel better.
It was all these different food brands, everything that you could imagine in one place that
everyone got to try and truly feel leaving after the festival feeling incredible.
So our last one, our biggest one was to see after Coachella of 2020.
But then obviously Coachella did not happen.
And it is an event.
So it is on a slight hold, sadly, because it's in person, but it will continue when the world does.
Yeah, of course.
that's what is it like running a business with your partner gosh yeah it's it's a journey i mean i think
communication is obviously everything in all ways of relationship but especially if you're running a
business uh we had to have so much communication and also understanding of each other's roles
because i think if you both try to play the same role it could get you could butt heads so i knew
what his role was and he knew what mine was and then also i think having times to shut it off like
when going to bed we probably shouldn't talk about it as much even though you want to but we needed
that separation of like work even though it was our baby we also need that separation of like
play and not talking about our business all the time yeah i hear that that's jason my boyfriend
his mindset is just always business like from the second he wakes up to the second he goes to sleep
and when he can't sleep in the middle of night his brain is like on business mode and i'm like
I'm really lucky that I can shut it off and separate it,
but that's something that we've talked about that we need to do a better job
at is putting the phones down,
separating work from our days like at time,
because I mean,
I say we.
I'm being kind.
It's him.
I'm very good at being like,
I'm done with work talks.
But it's just,
it's such a,
you know,
it's such a typical thing to talk about in a relationship,
even if you're not working together or you are because it's,
your day is kind of consumed around that.
So why not talk about it,
you know?
Now back to Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow.
One thing that you, they're both passionate about or is it just you about cooking?
You love to cook, right?
Yeah, I love to cook.
He used to love to cook.
When I first met JT., he loved to cook.
And now that I've taken the role, I mean, I haven't seen the guy in the kitchen in ages.
So he did love to cook and now it's me.
But yes, I do.
I really thought people at home would benefit from hearing some,
maybe easy snacks or meals that you recommend for people who are getting into cooking,
who want to stay healthy, who, you know, I think people get intimidated by cooking.
But if you have any insight to that, I think people who are listening would love it.
Yeah.
No, it's such a good question because I actually wish I had this back in the day because I didn't,
I think, find anything like this.
And I actually just filmed a whole YouTube video on like healthy eating like 2.0,
like let's go really, really deep of how to even start because it is intimidating.
like you read some of these recipes and they're like so long you don't even know some of the
ingredients it's a lot for me it's finding recipes that i connect to so meet my dietary needs i find
all of these recipes on instagram i'm like no chef that's like cooking up in the kitchen from
scratch i'm like oh okay i save this one from becky and becky loves onions i hate onions so i'm going
to take up the onions and then i'll just start to create and make it my own um but finding recipes
from like people you love that like meet your needs that look tasty but also look really
convenient like I always say look at the prep time when you go to look at a recipe if it says
this is going to take two hours like probably pass so I think like reading really understanding
the recipe if it meets your needs I always tell like my clients everyone do like a one sheet pan
was like the easiest thing so I'll like turn the oven on I'll put a vegetable I put a carb and I'll put
of protein and I'll literally stick that one sheet into the oven and I won't have to see it for
25 minutes and it's the easiest thing but it tastes amazing like I'll switch from sausage or
chicken or chickpeas whatever it is so I think it's finding those like alternatives that are still
so easy and quick but really healthy and as far as I could go on food forever I love it but as far as
snacks I love protein balls I feel like everyone talks about them but they really are my dream I'll
make them with like oats, coconut, chocolate chips, honey, protein powder, and you roll them up
in little balls. And they're like the perfect dessert taste, honestly, but you can have them
throughout the day. So I love things like that. It's probably my favorite. I used to never be
a big shake guy. But lately, I've been like, like, what was it? Two nights ago, I was craving
something sweet. I made it like chocolate protein shake. And I was like, that was really satisfying.
I'm really into like peanut, butter, banana, chocolate protein smoothie. That is, like.
It sounds amazing.
Delicious.
You said something about how when you wake up in your routine, you journal.
And I talk about that a lot because I think journaling is important.
And I try and do like a five-minute gratitude journal every morning.
But what are some things that often come up in your journaling?
Is it like a lot of gratitude?
Is it about your day?
Is it about like your thoughts on what's to come?
Like what does your journal look like?
Or is that a private question?
No.
I don't know something so funny is I literally posted my journal like,
boomeranged, like really quick on my story today. And someone literally paused it and read
what I wrote. And one of them said ultrasound because I have to get it for my hormones. And
someone literally messed me like, are you pregnant? And I was like, how did you read that? Like,
never posting my journal routine again. But anyway, I was in my journal routine consists of a lot
of gratitude. I cannot say enough of like what gratitude does for my soul. I feel like perspective
and just remembering, you know, the small things is so, so crucial, especially in a time like
this. You know, I think we can have so many things that we can't complain about. And I'm one of them.
I can have those days where I'm just like, Samantha, be quiet. But when I go and I remember, like,
wow, I have a healthy body. Wow, I get to breathe. Wow. Mother nature. Like those small things really
grounds me and brings me back to just being so grateful. So a lot of gratitude in my journal.
Also something that I really love in my journal is the send love.
So I pick like free people every day and I'll just send them like a sweet message or a little voice memo, something like that.
But it makes it kind of easy where you're like, okay, I'll get it done in the morning.
I send them the message.
I'm a huge voice memo, girl.
So I'll literally be like, hey, girl, I love you.
You're the best.
Whatever it is.
And I truly see how much it makes their day and then it makes my day.
So I really love that one too.
That's sweet.
I should start doing that.
Bailey made me a jar of like a hundred little pieces of paper of things that she loves about me.
And so when so Bailey, right?
And so when I, she's like, like I'll be Marco Polo in this app.
We have where we like video chat.
And I'll be like, oh, I'm having like just such a crap day.
She goes, go home and take a thing out of your paper jar.
And then I'll like go and read it.
And it's just more like saying something nice to me.
I'm like, oh, my God.
And it just changes my whole mood around.
It totally. It's such a, it's crazy. Like when you give back and then when someone you know that
they felt the joy and then you feel the joy, it's something, it's something about it. And I'm not a
gift giver like Bailey. I know she's unreal at that. So for me, it's like the quick voice memo to
know someone I'm thinking about them. And I think it does a lot. Absolutely. And before I make you
confess something embarrassing to me, where can people find you and how can they become involved in
getting your recipes and falling along with your workouts and everything? Yes.
They can find me at Sammy Clark over on Instagram and YouTube and TikTok, but it's Sammy Clark across the board.
Love it, simple.
Okay, it's that time of the pod where you have to confess your deep work secret to me.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, and everyone around.
When I think of the most embarrassing thing, you know, kind of.
of recently. I feel like we have tons of childhood, uh, whatever, Sammy get to it. I'm embarrassed
already. Um, so I feel like one of the biggest ones was my partner now, Katie. I, we like went on
one day and it was so freaking great, whatever. So then the next time he asked me out again,
but he's like, let's go out with all of my friends. And I was like, oh, okay, cool. So at this time,
I am on an antibiotic, which, you know, uh-huh, I'm on an antibiotic. And
He was at a hotel, like next door to my apartment, actually.
So I was like, okay, cool, I'll walk over.
I didn't eat lunch or it was like kind of like a weird time.
It was like almost dinner so that I didn't eat anything.
So I took the antibiotics.
I was like, I'm going to be out all night.
I'm going to forget it.
I took the antibiotic.
I show up to like the balcony where all of his friends are.
There's like truly like 10 to 15 people.
And he's like, hey, this is Sammy.
And I'm like, hi, guys.
And they like hand me a drink.
And all of a sudden I'm drinking this drink.
And I'm like, oh.
budge like this is going to be so bad when i tell you i go to meet his friend lexie like i literally
i'm like hi sammy and puke comes out oh my i'm literally holding it in my mouth holding it in my
mouth and i'm like and i just book it i literally just book it i head to the elevator i get in
the elevator i'm yacking in the elevator like throwing up in the elevator i'm walking through the
And this is like L.A.
So I'm like, they think I'm drunk.
They think that this girl's just puking all over the lobby.
Also, I'm like, please no one follow me.
I have no idea of someone's behind me.
I'm running.
I run to my apartment complex.
My sister lives with me.
I have puke all over my shirt.
I look like a disaster.
And I met like all of his best friends night one.
So I feel like that was like definitely.
And then I met up with them right after I got changed.
And they were like, yo, hi.
Like, I was like, I'm so sorry, you guys.
Like, I'm not this kind of girl.
Like, quick, puke, and we're back.
Was it was better that time?
You have some food in your stomach?
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah, it's definitely got some food in me.
And then I was ready to party, you know, anything for love.
I was ready to go down.
That's, you're a trooper because I have, like, the most unrealistic fear of throwing up.
Like, I turn into a child and need to, like, get in the fetal position and cry and, like,
call my mom and I'm not okay and then I like like I'm so dramatic if I'm going to throw up
and I would never be able to just like change and go back and party like if I threw up I'd be like
I'm out for the night I am unwell I need to go the hospital that I would just lay in bed and
cry and get my mom to fly to me yeah I hear you I mean again I think what we do for love because
I think if it wasn't love I think I would have been like F this I feel disgusting but I was just
so excited about him that I totally got changed and act like I was so okay
Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow.
Okay, I'm going to play a quick game with you before I let you go.
It's called Sammy's Top Tips.
So I want to hear your best tips and pieces of advice for the following questions and topics.
You ready?
What is a good first step to becoming more active when you haven't exercised in a while?
Walking.
I agree with that.
Okay.
What are a few pieces of at-home workout equipment you would recommend for those trying to get fit at home?
A resistance band and some dumbbells.
Okay.
What are some of your favorite ways to motivate yourself to get going when you're not feeling it?
Look at inspiration.
There be another one.
So, like, find someone that inspires me that works out.
And I'd probably go to their page and be like, get me pumped.
Yeah.
Okay.
What are your favorite snacks to eat before?
and after a workout. Is it the protein balls? Before a workout, it matters like what time, but I love
anything like peanut butter. I feel like, I don't know, peanut butter just, I literally will take
like a spoon sometimes and just eat a table spoon to peanut peanut peanut butter. And then after I'm definitely
a smoothie girl. Yeah. Oh, me too. I'm into it. I want on right now. Are you a fan of meal
prepping for the week and do you have any advice on how to get started meal prepping? I am such a fan,
but I do understand realistically it doesn't fit for everyone's schedule. But if you ask,
actually really wanted to crush the game, meal prepping would be a game changer and at least
even meal prepping snacks because I think snacks are the number one thing we go to the pantry for
and like kind of grab those like not the great ones for you. So I feel like having prepping
at least like celery, carrots, apples, all those things chopped up and ready to go is really
important. Do you do any like meal propping stuff on your Instagram? I don't have like a segment
or anything but I'll share my meal prepping on like a Sunday. Okay, cool. Yeah. And then
what's your favorite journal or just overall tip that people can start with if they are new to
journaling? I think the five-minute journal on Amazon is unreal to start with, but if you did not
want to purchase that, then I think starting with gratitude, like three gratitude a day.
I've been trying to get my mom on that gratitude train because she's, she suffers from fibromyalgia
and her bones and like joints and muscles are always sore and she's just like in constant
chronic pain i feel so terrible and so we're trying to like talk about things that are really
positive in life and like things we could be grateful for every day so that helps her a bit but
oh it's it doesn't be different though in in your life i i can really attest to that any advice
for getting out of a self-confidence funk that's either caused by comparing yourself on social media
or just generally feeling down the comparing yourself is such a real thing so for me i only follow a
certain amount, like I follow a lot of people, but I only go and look at the stories and
feed posts of people that when I leave, I feel amazing or I feel inspired or I feel
laughter or I feel happy. So I think paying attention to how you feel when you look at people's
content is really important. And if you do feel like you're comparing, then I probably
wouldn't go to their page as often. And then also like daily affirmations. I feel like truly
they're lame to say, but when you repeat over and over again of I am beautiful.
I am caught all these things. I do think that you start to believe them. I agree. I agree completely.
And then what's the best piece of advice and worst piece of advice you've received when it comes
to health and wellness? Something I think I would take like I don't know if I heard this for anyone,
but doing my own research, I think, and doing your own research by even if that's watching someone
else that knows what they're talking about, but at least researching and understanding because
I think I've dabbled in so many different things. And I wish that I would have done my own
research before, maybe buying that product or before, you know, going on that, whatever thing.
So I feel like doing research is advice. And then the worst advice is that skinny tea work.
Yeah.
Preach. Yeah. What the heck is in that stuff? Does it just make you poop and then you feel skinny or something?
I don't even know. I don't know. It's not good, though. That's good. That's a good,
that's a good worst piece of advice. I like that. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I know it's 2021. So like we don't know.
if you'll be able to do your events and stuff.
But what are you looking forward to in 2021 personally and professionally?
Yeah, professionally, which affects me personally as well.
I'm actually coming out with my own platform, which will be really exciting at the end of March.
So I'm doing it with my partner, Sana, which if you guys do all of our workouts together,
she's Pilates, and then I'm more like fit strength training.
So we're coming out with that, which I'm really excited about because it's just going to be everything
that I wanted to know, like I said, in the past, is going to be here.
So my goal is for girls to actually succeed, not to just, like, go by a program.
It's to have workouts, meals, everything, mindset, all of it, journaling on one platform.
So we're coming out with that soon.
So I'm very excited about that.
And then hopefully when it does open up some, like, tours to travel and have some fun
workouts with everyone.
Yeah, absolutely.
Gosh, I am not going to lie.
I used to do the workouts with the trainer here in Nashville and my act.
I used to like dread.
And I was even doing the workouts.
I was just like they're DJing and partying.
And I would I would just dread like the because I was like, oh my gosh, it's all
these like it's fitness.
And I feel like I'm just getting drunk up there by myself.
And it's all these people.
And now I'm like, I would give anything to go back and tour around do live podcasts, see
people, be in crowds.
Like I used to be like, crowds and I get overwhelmed.
And now I'm like, I will like, like,
like just throw me in to a
I know. I know. I know. Is Nashville open?
Yeah. Nashville's pretty open. Like
Jason and I went to a restaurant the other night. We got
absolutely torn apart on Instagram for it. But
the restaurants are open to Nashville.
And we purposely like, okay, obviously wear our masks.
And then we go and we pop our head in to see like, is it busy?
Or we try and find like a really good dead spot where we like have the whole
restaurant to ourselves.
off our mask to eat, put it back on, leave, and it's like, well, I mean, we still get in trouble.
But yes, things are open in Nashville. I do feel bad, though, because there are so many, I mean,
what's LA like right now? Because I know it was getting pretty bad there.
Yeah, LA's a, LA's a ghost town. I mean, no one lives here more and then nothing's open.
So I actually went to Arizona this past weekend and Scott still with my partner. And we actually
had a work out there, but it was pretty crazy to see everything was open only because I haven't been
around life in so long that it was really refreshing to actually see that because here in
LA we just got dining outdoor dining back on Friday and it's been it's been it's been months
like nothing's been open so yeah it just makes all the difference um when you can just like
even just hearing other people's conversation or being around people like sometimes I even just
enjoy going to the grocery store lately because I'm around people for sure no you forget I forget that this
has been like feels like the new normal so then when i saw this like life of people laughing and
interacting and groups larger than two i was like this is amazing so yeah i get it absolutely
well hopefully i keep saying i've been saved for a year hopefully soon
there's light i think we pretend there is any ways up here but um i appreciate you taking
time to come on the podcast today and talk about everything that you have going on and hopefully
people leave here feeling inspired and go follow you on Instagram and I want to. I want to find
your cooking stuff. Tell me about protein the balls recipe. I want one of those.
It is on my page. So I'll send it. Okay. Okay. Thank you so much. Thank you. I'm Caitlin Bristow.
