Starting point is 00:01:39 I know it's going to be a little tougher over audio, but visually, I think this is going to be really fun and really helpful. It is going to be a, well, obviously I'm already ready, so I'm recording this after, but very soon you'll see me with a bare face on. And we're going to start from the beginning, skin products, into makeup products, into what I think is my favorite, what I would get rid of if I had to. what is worth it, what isn't worth it, how to get under eye more smooth and not crinkly. I try to explain how to do individual lashes. I definitely fuck up my wing liner, which happens almost every time. But I think we got there. And, you know, it was kind of just like a fun.
Starting point is 00:02:17 I feel like you're in the bathroom with me right now except it's my podcast studio. And it was kind of difficult to like see myself in the mirror while making eye contact while talking and all the things. But here it is. You're about to learn all about my skincare and my makeup on my day to day basis. this is literally my everyday glam. Hey everybody, welcome to Off the Vine, a little bit of a different Off the Vine podcast today.
Starting point is 00:02:36 For folks listening, I am going to do my best to explain in full detail what I'm doing and what I'm using because it is a get ready with me, a groom. Anytime I see the GRWM, get ready with me. I'm always like, a groom. Get stupid. Anyways, groom with me. For today, we are doing DMV makeup. okay, because I have to go renew my driver's license.
Starting point is 00:03:03 So it's, I say DMV makeup, but it's my everyday makeup that I do literally every single day. And I think I've got it nailed down to maybe 15 minutes. Obviously, it's going to take a lot longer for this because I'm going to be explaining as I go. We're going to start with skincare. And first, I'm going to look into the most insulting mirror that I've ever come across. It's just rude because I just looked before we started recording and I fully have a nose hair. like, Ow!
Starting point is 00:03:34 Didn't even get it. Ow! Got it. You know how people wax their nose? Like, also, by the way, my assistant Kelly is here with me, so I'm talking to Kelly, not myself. But I do talk to myself all the time. But, like, they have those waxers, but then I heard that if you do that, you're actually removing nose hair that is protecting from, like, bad bacteria getting in your system.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Yeah. I'm like, okay, I'll just pluck the weird ones. Also, I can see one right now. Dude, this one. Sick. Hot damn, okay. All right. Cool.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Off to a great start. Okay, skincare first. I've already washed my face. So I just use a gentle cleanser in the morning. If people think you don't need to cleanse in the morning, you're crazy because do you not, do you know how much bacteria is just on your pillow? technically we should wash our pillowcase every single day with clean laundry detergent and have a silk one but whatever cleanse in the morning and then my favorite thing to follow up with
Starting point is 00:04:49 is cogee pads cogi pads basically like brighten and gently exfoliate your face without like wrecking your face i love them because i just feel like they also give you another layer of cleansing and it just helps with brightening it targets hyperpigmentation i genuinely believe that this Koji pad got rid of my malasma. I used to have like black spots all up here of melasma. And I still use the sauna like three times a week, four times a week. And I don't get the melasma anymore. And I really think it's from Koji pads. It's cogic acid,
Starting point is 00:05:29 which actually slows down melanin production. And I just feel like it gives you that good, like I'm minded my own business. While I look like I got some rest subtle vibes. You know, Anyway, what am I doing? Okay. So on top of the Koji pads, my favorite ones are from Skindy. Sorry, my favorite ones are from Indy RX, but they're called SkinDy. That's her skin line.
Starting point is 00:05:53 They're indigo pads. Just their high potency. So I would just like try them a few times a week. See how it's making your skin feel. And then on top of that, I like to then add vitamin C from skin suiticles. This also contributes to helping phase. dark spots. It smells like hot dogs. Don't be afraid. It also can help soften fine lines, which is amazing. I mean, it's not Botox level, but it's noticeable. I have the best skin I've ever
Starting point is 00:06:23 had at the age of 40. And it's because I started using good skin care. Like it's, it's crazy how much better your skin is when you use good skincare. It is pricey, but I will say it's one of the ones that I would consistently use if you're on a budget. Like you don't have to get all the shibangs that I'm giving you, but vitamin C is like one of the most important ones. Okay. Next, I'm just going to use a tiny bit of this peptide drench. It is glass skin in a bottle. It literally is peptides in it.
Starting point is 00:06:54 I don't even know what that really means, but I know that peptides are all the hype and it makes my skin look like glass. But the only thing is I really soak it in at nighttime. But in the daytime, if you use too much, it does pill your skin when you put on makeup. I just use a tiny bit and then I let it really dry before I put anything else on on top of it. But like, doesn't my skin look like glass? Zero. Don't zoom in.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Okay. I should have brought up my little fan. Ow. It's downstairs. It's fine. This TNS advanced serum, it's got a double pump. Now, this is the mother's milk, I always call it. It's basically like the good.
Starting point is 00:07:46 grown up, get your skin back on track serum. Less about an instant glow and then more about like remodeling and repairing over time. It uses growth factors and it really helps firm your skin. And again, not instant but very noticeable over time for fine lines and wrinkles. What I find is it really helps with like, why is my skin looking blah phase? No I'm saying? I usually use this morning and night. So I do cogi pads into vitamin C into a little peptide drench, but you can just use that at night if you want into my TNS advanced serum. Again, a little bit goes a long way. So just one little pump. I've been forgetting to put it on my neck. My neck is looking real old lately. And oops, my bad. I should have put on my
Starting point is 00:08:36 eye cream first, but it's okay. This is AGE advanced eye cream. I love it. I feel like it just tightens, brightens, makes you look rested. Again, a little bit goes a long way. And then finally, a moisturizer. And shame, shame, double shame on me. I am not putting on a sunscreen today, okay? Because I'm going to get my picture taken and I feel like it will pill my makeup. So this moisturizer is just skin medica.
Starting point is 00:09:15 It's the ultra sheer moisturizer. Honestly, I don't think there's a need to get really expensive. Just a nice lightweight moisturizer in the day and then a really thick heavy moisturizer at night. All right. So again, that was KojiPads from Indy Skin Care, Indy RX. That was the peptide drench from the same place. Vitamin C from skin suiticles, TNS advanced serum from skin medica, and then an ultrashire
Starting point is 00:09:44 moisturizer also from skin medica. You should put on a sunscreen after this. My favorite is Alaskin. I really like that. And color science. They have good sunscreens. Okay. Also, I'll be linking everything in the show notes.
Starting point is 00:09:56 I know that sounds overwhelming too for people who are like, I just want to slap on one thing on my face. I hear you. I see you. But if you want to invest in your skin, I'm sorry, you gotta do it. Rami's licking my back. It's really cute. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Now I'm going to put in Lumify eye drops. Again, I don't do this every day, but since I'm getting a photo taken, it just really brightens the old white. balls up. Hello. I got dry needling done yesterday on like the inside of my like groin and up my hip and around into my back and today. And then I also had the hardest workout of my life the other day. And I just feel like an 80 year old man right now. I can barely move. It hurts so bad. Okay. Let's talk about, um, squishy, squash is what are these called? Um, no,
Starting point is 00:10:51 beauty blenders, beauty blenders. You guys have to get this is, this is, the best, they're called pawpaws, the best hands down beauty blender out there and you get it as wet and you keep, you put it under the sink and you let it wet and then you ring it out and then sponge it until it gets bigger and bigger and bigger and then you really ring it out. These I will link. They're from Amazon. I've never had a better blender and they're cheap. They're inexpensive. They're inexpensive. I don't like things that are cheap. I like things that are inexpensive. Okay. So I'm going to start with this COSIS.
Starting point is 00:11:28 I use color, I don't know. What is this? 05W? Whatever that means. And I go dark circle, dark circle. We lift. We lift. We lift. We line.
Starting point is 00:11:45 I don't know what this does, but everyone does the three line flower there. And I never know why, but I just do it because everyone else does. Apparently, I jump off a bridge if everyone else did too. Okay, there and there. I guess it depends on where you have, you know, if you have, like sometimes I'll get really bad, like a one cystic acne if I'm on my period or something. So cover up wherever you want to with this thing. Basically what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Now I just use this little wee brush to blend it out. Perfection eye tightening. I don't even know where I got it. I'm sure I can find one similar for you though and we're just blending it I love how every influencer thinks they're a makeup artist like get ready with me
Starting point is 00:12:37 now I'm going to go in with this shade and I'm like it's like you talk like a makeup artist it's so funny um okay I feel like I have extra bags under my eyes today because your girl went out last night and had some filthy martinis that really were salty. I had an event for shop bop and Levi's and it was so cute. It was like a Y2K event and everyone was wearing like butterfly clips
Starting point is 00:13:05 and they had like VHSs and for those of you who don't know, that's like a tape that goes into VHS and they had really fun martinis and then they opened an earls. They opened an earls in Nashville and I'm dying over that because my big move from my small town to Vancouver, my first job was at Earls and we were the Earl's girls. And that's where I really built my solid group of girls that I'm still friends with to this day. Like such a solid group of girlfriends from Earls. And Earls is like, anytime I go to Canada, it's Earls and Cactus Club because I started at Earls and then I went to Cactus Club. So Cactus Club, you're next. If you're in Nashville, got to go see Earls. Think of me. Okay. Now I'm going to do my luminous silk by Armani.
Starting point is 00:13:56 This, I've been using this foundation for years. I just find that it's not too full coverage. Like it's sheer still. But a trick is, and I found this out, as soon as you put it on your hand or face, you've got to move it around quick. Otherwise, it gets sticky and it doesn't blend the same. So you've got to move.
Starting point is 00:14:17 You got to go quick. Just put this in fast forward. Um, I even put some on my eyelids because I use that as a primer. Make sure you blend it into your neck. Eat your nose. Okay. Does that look blended? A lot of people will do like their eye shadow and everything before their face makeup.
Starting point is 00:14:46 I do things a little backwards. I do face and then I'm going to do blush, bronzer. You'll see. I don't know why I'm telling you what I'm going to do when you're going to watch me do it. A quick message from today's sponsor the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance Program. I feel like if you have a pet, you get it. They're not just pets. They fully become your personality, your life.
Starting point is 00:15:08 We all know that about ramen and peanut. They run my whole world. I will rearrange my entire day around them. Their schedule is my schedule. If they're happy, I'm happy. If something's off, I'm absolutely spiraling, trying to figure out what's wrong. And if they get into stuff, like, I don't know, the amount of times I've had a wait, what did you just eat moment with these two?
Starting point is 00:15:25 which is why something like ASPCA pet health insurance is actually worth looking into. I tell everybody that when they ask for advice when they get a dog, I'm like get pet health insurance. Those random vet visits, they never happen at a convenient time. And their plans are customizable. You can really fit it to your pet and your budget. And it just helps take some of the pressure off when something unexpected comes up. They've also been around for almost 20 years and have covered nearly a million pets, which has honestly made me feel better, just knowing it's something.
Starting point is 00:15:55 people actually trust. And when you enroll, you could get a $25 Amazon gift card, which I mean, I'm always ordering something for ramen and Pino anyways, so that works. Starting point is 00:16:42 Okay, blush, I love this. I swear it's not just because she's my friend, but Ariel's blush, rel, I actually need to get a new shade. This one's Leo. I'm obsessed with, I think the one's JTT that I love. God, talk about Y2K. Now, I know people. are supposed to go on the apple of their eye, but I'm like really into the more lifted look lately. So I'm going to go on my cheekbones. And I like a little on my nose. So it looks like, oh, did you get a little sun or something? Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:14 And then I also put bright on my forehead a tiny bit. Okay. Am I shaking? This is my second coffee. So clearly I am a psycho and I'm disgusting and I don't clean my brushes. I probably should. Don't do what I do. But I'm going to blend that for the lift.
Starting point is 00:17:33 not so much down here, more out. And I even go into my eyelid and up here. Do that on the other side, into the eye, swipy McSwipersons on the nose. Blush always goes the fastest. So right now I might look like super blushy, but I feel like it goes away quick, especially when I add my bronzer on top.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Okay. Then I don't know what I want to use. This I'm really loving, clearly. It's the Chanel. um, hey, le beige, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:18:12 It's a cream, healthy glow bronzing cream is what it is. I just find that this is more of a warm tone, but I also love the Charlotte Tilbury wand, but it's more of a cooler tone. So, um, I would say,
Starting point is 00:18:27 what do I want to do today for a photo? I'm going to go warmer today. Um, but I do love that Charlotte Tilbury wand. But just so you know, No, it is a cooler tone. If you're into those kinds of things and you want to like even ask the internet, like, what is like take a picture of yourself.
Starting point is 00:18:43 What is my skin undertone? Okay, does that work more with? Like if you had like a more peachy, you might want to use a cooler tone. If you have more olive, you might want to use a warmer tone. Just ask the internet, you know? That's what I do. And I just like a cream everything actually. But again, I'm just trying to go lifty.
Starting point is 00:19:12 and not so heavy down here. And then we'll go. I swear this is why my hairline just keeps moving back and back and back because I just keep like pounding makeup on it all day. And then it's just like not giving my scalp any time to breathe. Now I'm going to put a little bronzer on my eyes because I like to work smarter, not harder, even though I'm still going to use eye shadow.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Okay. Okay. Now I'm going to do, well, I'm going to blend it a bit more just because I can never blend something too much. Oh, my eyebrows. Where is it? Oh, different feel. It's nice to have my makeup laid out like this because I feel like in a makeup bag,
Starting point is 00:20:04 it's always like right in front of your face and you're just digging through being like, I lost it. And it's right there. I have so many different pencils that I like for eyebrows. This is the Anastasia, Anastasia, Anastasia, Anastasia. whatever you want to, I don't know. Anastasia, I think how you pronounce it. Brow Definer.
Starting point is 00:20:26 This is an ash brown. I feel like I have very ashy brown eyebrows, but I also have my brows, which I'd like to laser off at some point because she did such a wonderful job. And I actually would go back to her to do it again. But it's just like blended too much with the ink. So shut up and do the brows. I use the little tip. I put a,
Starting point is 00:20:50 Oh, it's hard to do from here. I put a couple little extra swipes, so that looks like hair swipes. And then I just basically even everything out. I'm going to pull my mirror a bit closer to me. I just fill in the gaps, you know what I mean? And then just take that out a little extra. I feel like with brows, like a little bit goes a long way
Starting point is 00:21:20 because sometimes I see people's brows and I'm like, ah, I mean, hello. This I like to add on top of the, blush. It's Midnight Berry baked powder blush from what? I don't even know this brand.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Catrice. C-A-T-R-I-C-O-C-R-I-C-O. Catrico? I don't know. I'll link it. But it's like the shimmer-y-est, shimmer-ish-pink. And I just want like a little bit. Boop. Because it's almost like a highlighter in itself with a little blush.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Okay. Are we having fun? Okay. So I'm feeling like I should go in with a little powder. So I like this dibs brand. Love Beam. Love Beam setting powder. And then I just used one of these little poofs.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Poofs. And I, so this side's brightening and this side's setting powder. And I just like to do the setting powder and go under the eyes. Like, look at this difference. Hold on. Boom. Boom. Now look at this under eye compared to this one.
Starting point is 00:22:33 It's like, yes, we love the dewy shiny look, but at the same time, right under the eyes, like it just feels like takes away the greasy look. Then we're going to do the T zone. I always get dog hair in my face when I'm doing my makeup. Okay. A little here. Then I'm just going to sculpt that a little more. I don't bake.
Starting point is 00:23:03 I don't bake. Is that what it's called? When you, like, set the powder and you don't rub it in. Yeah, I don't do that. I don't know why. I just feel like I don't really have the patience because I'm always like, just go. Okay. Powder on.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Now, oh, eyebrow gel. This stuff is the bomb. Rare beauty, Selena. Shout out to Selena Gomez. Your brow gel is the tits. It really does the damn thing. And it's just little and cute. It holds the brows in place.
Starting point is 00:23:38 I go back and forth from loving the brow freeze, like spiked up brow look. Go back and forth. Okay. Also, my eyebrow hairs are terrible. Like they go spiky here and then they grow straight across here. And then these ones go up here and then straight down. It's really something. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:59 I shadow. Okay. Sadly, this was only a limited addition to Faced palette. But you get the gist. It's just like warm. pinks, almost like maroons, reds. This turnover is what the color is called. This solid seemed intimidating to me, but then I used it the other day and it was actually
Starting point is 00:24:23 really pretty. But I typically just use like a light caramel brown and then a little pink. And I just blend those two together. So I show you. And this, I wish everybody could smell this. I'm going to do this. do this light brown everywhere. Excuse me.
Starting point is 00:24:49 The second coffee is really getting to me. Excuse me. Light brown everywhere. Of course there's dog hair. And then, oh, there's a mirror here too. And then let's do this pink color. It's like a warm pinky color, and I just go in the crease here and do that on the other side. Again, sue me I don't wash my brushes.
Starting point is 00:25:25 I probably should. Now I'll do a darker brown, darker brown. And I'm just going to go kind of in the, like the winged area here on the outside corner of my eye. And I'm just going to blend that into the middle. Okay. And then other eye. That looks more brown. then this one now. Okay, so let's go back with some pink and just go over it. Sure. Sure. Why not?
Starting point is 00:26:06 And then I like to look really bronzied and brown in the drop. I do drop shadow where it's just like, this eyes more oval and this eye's more round. I do get Botox for that because I'm a cemetery freak. But I also round out this eye under here with the shadow. Tricks of the trade, you know? On the other side, dog hair. So for those listening and not watching, I am so sorry. I feel like this is going to be one of those ones where you just need to watch. Before I do that, I'm going to curl the lashes. I've never done that before.
Starting point is 00:27:01 I just clipped myself. I don't feel like, I don't feel like there's like any good or bad eyelash curler out there. Like just whatever works best for you to curl your lashes, I don't, I don't care. That coffee's cold and I probably shouldn't have. anymore because I'm getting fired up. We all know this. Pino and Raman are very well taken care of. Their snack situation alone,
Starting point is 00:27:39 out of control. I'm over here just eating whatever's in my fridge and they're the ones who have options. Most of it comes from Chewy because it's just too easy. They have everything in one place. Food, treats, toys, things I didn't even know existed, but suddenly feel necessary and it shows up at your door in just one to two days.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Which is great, but also a little dangerous because I'll go to order one thing and somehow there's like five extra things in my car. but they just love everything I get from there. So it feels justified. And it's not just the fun stuff either. Chewy does prescriptions, vet services, even telehealth visits, which is actually really helpful when you're trying to figure out if something is a big deal or not. And their customer service is really good. Like if something doesn't work out, you can return it within a year, which is crazy and makes it's so easy to try new things without stressing about it. I use Chewy, and it's pretty much my go-to for anything ramen and Pino. Chewy has everything you need to keep your pet happy and healthy.

Okay, here comes the wing. here comes the wing do do do do I'm scared okay don't don't this up I'm shaking okay so I don't know how to explain this this so I start at the corner of my eye I don't know if a lot of people do it right down into the
Starting point is 00:30:01 corner but I I do and then I just follow the line of my eye I just a lot of patience here. I just feel like they're kind of like eyebrows in a sense where it's like they're supposed to be sisters, not twins. But sometimes mine just looks like like a distant cousin. And then I'll see it like in the mirror. I'm like, oh, that's amazing. And then I see it in a photo and I'm like, so again, something only I would probably notice or trolls on the internet who know that bother me. Sometimes they know that it bothers me and they'll like point it out in photos.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Okay. So here's the thing. You don't close your eye when you're doing a wing. You got to keep it open. And I start from like right here, like the middle of and I just try to keep eye open. And we go down. We commit. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Commit to the bit. And then here's the thing. You now go from that corner and you just swipe it straight across. You kind of just let it go. I'm shaking so bad. Okay. Let it go. Let it flow.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Here we go. And no. And I want to yonk. Nope. Nope. Don't worry. Okay. Now I just put it right in my eyeball.
Starting point is 00:31:37 Oh no. This is bad, guys. Okay, that's bad. Don't worry. I brought Q-tips. So then we're just going to clean it up on the bottom and we're just going to make it look a little more of a clean line. Whoops.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Oh, no. I knew this would happen. I knew this would happen. Okay. Serve. Now we've got to do the other one like it. I think it's all about like knowing that you can clean it up with a Q-tip after. Okay, let's try this one.
Starting point is 00:32:18 This is usually my good one. And the other one is usually my bad one. So that tracks. Okay, here we go. Swoop. And there. And then you fill it in. See, this one's so much better.
Starting point is 00:32:43 You know, and like, sorry, we're late. And then you blame something. I'm like, sorry, I'm like, I did a wing line. I did wing liner. Sorry. Like when, when, you know when you take a poop and you wipe and it's a phantom wipe and there's nothing and you just go, wow, that's a great poop. That's like when you get it in one swoop, you're like,
Starting point is 00:33:05 shooop, swoop. swoop. It's just like, you read about it, but when it actually happens, amazing. Sorry for that visual. Something for the listeners, which, oh my God, this is, people either love me or hate me for this. I was doing an interview last night for this shop-op event. And, you know, everyone, like, I saw a girl go up. It was just like a quick Q&A. Like, yay or nay, do you, in Y2K, did you like Christina Aguilers?
Starting point is 00:33:38 Like, um, the thong line. showing and it's like, yay or nay, just really rapid fire and fun questions. But one influencer was like, she went up with her manager and they were like, she needs to know the questions before she answers. And I was like, oh, I was like, I'm there. No manager just like rolled up with a couple friends already had a cocktail and then said, they're like, if you were a country album, what would your album be called? And I was like, she's a, re girl. She's a country girl. And then she was like, I like it. And I was expecting a bigger reaction. I was like, you get it because I said, and she was like, oh, no, I got it.
Starting point is 00:34:13 And I was like, okay. And I walked away from the interview and I was like, damn it, Caitlin. And I go, that's why people either love me or hate me. They're like, that's funny. Or they're like, God, she is so blasphemy. She's so trashy. I'm like, I'm sorry. I am who I am.
Starting point is 00:34:31 Okay, I like to use two different mascara. This cover girl, I think I've showed you guys this on live so many times because it's tubing mascara. and I did not think I liked to be mascara until I used cover girls. It's so good. I might only, do I start with this? No, I'm going to do that on top. So YSL, this is just, it's a brown one.
Starting point is 00:34:54 And I don't know why I start with brown if I'm going to just put. Nope, that's what I'm going to do. Nope, I'm going to do this first. Shut up. Okay. I'm putting on a little brown mascara. I also like brown mascara on my bottom lashes. and I feel like it's such a flex that I have good bottom lashes.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Sorry. Okay. Also, Obaji has a great eyelash serum. I'll link it in the show notes too. That is what I use to get like just really full. I was just filming something and all the girls were doing false lashes and they're like, what lashes are you wearing? They look so real.
Starting point is 00:35:36 I'm like, they're mine. And I was like, Obaji. Should sponsor me because I sell everybody on it. It's so good. They have a brow growth serum. That's really helped my brows. They actually have a scalp serum that I started using too. It's just,
Starting point is 00:35:55 I know people get scared as do I have like stuff you put on your lashes to change the color of your eye, but it didn't do that for me. Okay, now I'm going to finish it off with the tubing mascara. I also love this bottle. Excuse me. I feel like this wand, look at that. It really separates the lashes and then gives it that almost like, um, what?
Starting point is 00:36:25 Wow. Keep hitting my microphone. It really just separates lifts and lengthens. That's good stuff. You know what my favorite thing about tubing mascara? Pulling it off at the end of the night. It's just like, so satisfied. Oh, you know what I forgot.
Starting point is 00:36:59 This is one of my favorite. What does it say what color? It's, I don't know. It's Victoria Beckham. I can't see what color it is, but it's like a maroon, merlo-y color. And I should have done this before mascara, but I like to put it on the upper. Oh, my God, one weird breath.
Starting point is 00:37:21 And it's game over for me. Okay. Okay. Now we look. What do I need? What do I need? I am going to add a few falsies in there, which, okay, I like to use black lash glue. Just a little dabble do you. And then I do long. I already douched that one. I doched another one. Okay, Caitlin, you got to grab it at the right spot. Okay, there. Okay. A long. one and then I just look for where I have like big gaps. I see one. I like to put glue right on like the edge, not on like the tip and then you pop it. I like to put it like along the back so that you can lay it. Do you know what I mean? Like put the glue along the back of it and then lay it down instead of pop it on like this, lay it down like that. I don't know if that made any sense. Okay.
Starting point is 00:38:32 right here is there's the tip of the lash where it's like the very bottom people like to dab that part in the glue and then just pop it on but i like to lay the glue on like from almost like three quarters of the way down till the bottom so that you're like laying it more flat on the lash instead of popping it on like that so you can kind of see that the glue and then i'm just going to go right here. Lay it on. You gotta kind of play around with it. I've been doing this for years
Starting point is 00:39:11 because of dance competitions from growing up. I like learned at a very young age how to do lashes. This eye is done. Now we're going to go over to the next one. Okay, Kelly's going to ask me a couple of questions about makeup.
Starting point is 00:39:25 And I'll try and answer them as best as I can while I finish this off. Okay, biggest game changer product out of all the things I'm using, gosh, I would say the tubing mascara and the cream rel blush. I feel like if you just have like a little glow of like you look like you have some color and some lashes, I think those are like the two main things. Bronzer blush and mascara, I think.
Starting point is 00:39:52 But you know what the look is right now? A lot of people are doing is not much mascara at all. Like just a few swipes out to the side. And I think the biggest waste of money would just be like, sorry, but like name brand mascara, even though I do love them, but that if you're trying to be on a budget here. And again, you don't need to get Chanel cream bronzer. You can just get a cream bronzer. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:25 And a brow. Damn it. Okay. Let's go brows, blush. Browse and blush. That's it. Those are my, if you want two products that to splurge on, browse and blush. One thing I stopped doing that has helped is like really overdoing the like coming down here for the bronzer.
Starting point is 00:40:42 I feel like you got to like just do the like snatched up here, the more lifted look and not so heavy down here. Like even right now I'm looking and I want to just like blend this out even a bit more because I just wanted to be more up here than down here. like always do like right the top of your ear line should be where your bronzer goes okay i don't know what it is about the combo of this kosis concealer i don't feel like it makes it creasy i feel like it's just more creamy and then i don't i usually hate powder under my eyes but this dibs powder i feel like doesn't like look i don't feel like it's crinkling under there and it doesn't like even doesn't like even at the like in a few hours. I don't feel like I think that also has to do with the really good eye cream underneath.
Starting point is 00:41:34 Underrated habit is definitely how you sleep. I have trained myself or maybe this is just how I enjoy sleeping, but I sleep like this. I don't really move. I sleep like this straight and it's great for your skin and it's great for wrinkles. And otherwise there are those pillows out there that like hold your head in a cradle so that you're not smushing your face. Because when you wake up in the morning, like everybody looks tight. Everybody looks like who times two. And even this morning, I was like, whoa, the bags underrides were wild.
Starting point is 00:42:03 Okay, I have a couple tricks for a lip combo. I actually can't find the lip liner I usually use, but I love pillow talk. Who doesn't? I feel like it's the classic basic bitch combo. But the other one that I have, it's from tart, I think. Yeah, it's tart and it's just like a more berry. This is more pink and that's like more of a berry one. I'll link the one that I love.
Starting point is 00:42:34 I just can't find it right now. Okay. So I am still the girl who overlines her lips. I feel like that trend comes in and out. And I am still, it's an in for me. It's a yes for me, dog. Also, I have such weird. I look like I'm a smoker on this side because I've got like three very intense
Starting point is 00:43:00 lines here. I don't know why. And then I just kind of fill it in. Pillow tuck is the best color. Okay, what I usually do, which I can't find it, but Rudy Berry has this, where am I, okay, let's put this here. Rudy Berry has this freckle pen and I'm all out of it right now. So I'm going to have to go buy a new one. But you do little freckles and your face look so sunkiss and you just kind of blend them in. But what I also do is use it as a bit of a lip liner. because it looks, even if I do self-tanner, I go here, here, haphazardly, just all over here, neck,
Starting point is 00:43:43 and then I do around my mouth because there's something that, like, makes your lips look plump when you shadow them almost. It's like contouring your lips, but with like, it's almost like bronzer. You know, it's crazy. Okay. Now I am just going to do a tiny bit of this Merlot color
Starting point is 00:44:02 is on top because if you have, blue eyes and you use any sort of purples, that really pops your blue eyes. Like, look how much that just did that. And if you have, yeah, greener blue eyes, I would do purple. And then brown eyes, I know this sounds crazy, but I'm so jealous. I've always wanted brown eyes. I feel like just, that looks so good with like just black, like a black liner and like dark, dark, dark. I love. I feel like it pops. Okay. One of my favorite things. This is Victoria Beckham's contour. It's like just a little Victoria goes, shing, shving, shving, shving, shing, shing, shing, shing, shing, shing. And then she's done. I need more than that. So anyways, I'm going to contour my nose. You kind of bring it up from
Starting point is 00:44:56 your eye bone underneath your eyebrow down and down. And then I go down here. And then I go down here. put a line across there and then I'm going to blend it. You can also just blend it with your fingies. I always call fingers fingies. Okay. One thing I wish I knew 10 years ago is just contouring. I remember like looking back on myself on TV on The Bachelor, I'm like, it's kind of sweet because it's very innocent. And I'm like, I just remember like, I didn't know how to do my makeup at all. I just did some mascara. My brows were never touched. They were just like little tiny brows. And I'd throw on like a bright lip. And that's pretty much it.
Starting point is 00:45:48 I wish I knew about contouring. Especially for TV. Also, you know what I love is REL's lip oil. She's got a bunch of d. Actually, I like this color, but like I feel like my lips are a bit pinky today. So also this color, what is this? Oh, this is expensive, but it's Prada. Monochrome?
Starting point is 00:46:09 That's the color? I don't know. Anyways, it's pretty. That and then I love just. putting on her lip oil after because it's so hydrating. And it's not like sticky oil. It's more, I just, I love a lip oil. It's really pretty.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Okay. I think that might be it. Okay. Let's talk about taking off your makeup after at the end of the night. I, in my 20s, I never did. I used Mac face and body, which like does not have any breathing room for your skin.
Starting point is 00:46:49 I'd go to sleep in that. I'd wake up. I'd add more and I'd go to work. I wash my face. I double cleanse. I double cleanse. And then I use my cellar water or my cellar wipes. That's the easiest way to get off your makeup.
Starting point is 00:47:02 And then I cleanse again. And I'm obsessed with these towels. They're like clean towels. Is that what they are? The clean towels that I order on Amazon, I'll link those to. Because even your dirty like towels to dry your face, you're just now adding more bacteria to your face once you just washed it.
Starting point is 00:47:20 So yeah, clean towels will link. them. Have just those beside, dry your face with those. So just make sure everything is off your face and neck. And then again, I only use cozy pads in the morning. At nighttime, I use, it's called P-Tox. So Skin, Suticals has this really good serum. It's called P-I-O-X. I call it P-T-T-O-X. And to me, I'm like, it is literally Botox without a needle. Like, it is so good. And that's what I use on my skin every night after washing. I do the P.T. Ocks, whatever the heck is called. It's almost like a Paris filter, not like a freezer face from Botox, which I also love.
Starting point is 00:48:06 It just really softens expression lines. It improves skin texture over time. I'm just really loving that product right now. So that and then I go back into it with the peptide drench. I'm like almost scared to share the secret because she's. already sold out of it all the time and I'm like, but don't like make sure I could be stocked up. Then I do the TNS advanced serum again. And then I do, uh, sometimes like maybe twice a week.
Starting point is 00:48:37 I'll do a retinal before I'll do a 0.05 retinol. Um, skin medic has a great one. Uh, and then I do the triple lipid moisturizer at nighttime from skin suiticals. that moisturizer is so, it just seals everything in. It's so thick. It's so perfect for nighttime. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:48:59 I love it. And the eye cream again. Also, one of my favorite products ever. Okay, this, it's like a copper peptide, dewy spritz. I mean, sometimes I just, I probably even shouldn't right now, but sometimes I just spray it because I'm like, I, this is one of the most genius things that my girlfriend Elizabeth did. It's copper peptides, but it's a dewy spritz. but it literally like it heals skin if you have like red or burn or you've got a treatment and you just
Starting point is 00:49:25 want to like it's just like really but it also has again peptides so it's smoothing it's hydrating it's amazing I love this stuff clearly almost gone I will say like you guys saw my skin when I came in here I had no makeup on and not to toot my own horn with the skin but like I do feel like I take such good care of my skin I'm not like the best at hydrating with water and I've gotten better, but I do think just skincare is, if you care about skin the way that I do, it is such an important part of your routine. And I feel like you just wake up and you just feel like, okay, my skin looks better every morning because I'm taking such good care of it every, every am and PM.
Starting point is 00:50:11 Some of the treatments, we can talk about treatments of what I like to do. I love, what's it called? Lymphatic drainage. I love, you can even just like put on a YouTube video and use your fingers. Like you can just lymphatic drainage every morning is so helpful. It literally just snatches your face. I love a facial. I try and get a facial once a month.
Starting point is 00:50:39 I love, I actually love hydrophacials. I feel like it really gets the gunk out of your skin. if you're going buck wild you go honey child because i like a h2 oh and that's intense like very much downtime there but it does a significant amount to your skin um you got to be careful with doing too many lasers because i do feel like that like makes your skin thin out every time um but what other treatments do i love honestly i think lymphatic drainage is my favorite treatment out there and it doesn't have lasers or needles or anything. You can literally,
Starting point is 00:51:16 I also love microneedling and doing what they call the, I think it's like the diamond glow facial where they mix the tiniest amount of Botox into the microneedling into the microneedling. And it goes all over your face. And it's just like, after three treatments, it's amazing. Also, I do love a face mask.
Starting point is 00:51:38 I feel like some people are like, is MediCube really worth a hype? is actually doing something. I love it. I use a Medacube mask and go to sleep in it probably three times a week. I love it. It just feels nice. I feel like there's something. What is it? Like salmon DNA or salmon sperm or something? I don't know what it is, but it's doing something. I really want to get. This is definitely not, you know, Korean skincare, but on my bucket list right now, there's three things. I want to go to Japan. I want to go to South Korea, maybe rescue more dogs, but also get like all the skin care and skin treatments there and see what they say,
Starting point is 00:52:18 because I want to get more invested into Korean skin care and African safari. Those are my three bucket list items right now. Okay. So yeah, I do love a face mask. I also love, I think it's skin 111. I think that's what it's called. They are pricey is, but they have the best under eye patches. Oh, they're the best.
Starting point is 00:52:40 So yeah, if you have any more questions, you can leave them in the comments or wherever you leave your reviews. I don't know. I've only been doing this for eight years. I don't know what you do. But yeah, if you have more questions, but I link to everything for you guys. And, oh, finishing spray. I like, I don't even know what brand this is. OS, oh, slash S, I don't know, until dawn.
Starting point is 00:53:10 It's matifying waterproof settings, right? I'm out. Oh, here we go. Kosis also has a great one. Sometimes I use this called Cloud Set. Sometimes I actually use this on my beauty blender. Like I'll give it like a couple sprits. And then put my foundation on with that because it kind of sets it while you do it.
Starting point is 00:53:37 Okay. Okay. I hope that was informative and fun and helpful. and I also hope that if you were listening, you don't leave and never come back. I'm Caitlin Bristow.
