Episode Date: August 13, 2026

#971. Two years ago, Taylor Strecker came on Off the Vine, and somehow she's packed some of life's biggest milestones into the time since. She catches Kaitlyn up on becoming a mom, why she nev...er actually wanted kids (at first), and the surprisingly honest conversation she and Teddy are having about baby number two. She also pulls back the curtain on House of Stassi—from what it's really like filming with your best friend to why she believes reality TV can actually strengthen relationships instead of destroying them. The two also get into internet trolls, friendship insecurities, and whether Taylor is just getting started in the TV world. Plus, the conversation takes a wildly unexpected turn into whether eggs are... chicken periods. (Trust us, you'll want to hear how they got there.) Starting point is 00:00:29 and Apartments.com, the place to find a place. You're listening to Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow. Hey, everybody, welcome to Off the Vine. I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow. And today's guest is someone that I really enjoy, I really enjoy talking to you. You have the gift of Gab. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:00:50 And you're hilarious. Like, people at home, I feel like, are going to watch this and feel like they're just hanging out with their friends. Oh, I love that. Yeah, you have a good aura. Thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. The last time you were here, we talked about,
Starting point is 00:01:03 one of the biggest turning points in your life. The fact that you left radio, you found love with your wife, having a whole ass marriage with a man before that. But life has changed even more since then. We talk about that. You've officially stepped into reality TV. How's Estasi become a mom. You're navigating an entirely new chapter of life career.
Starting point is 00:01:21 I feel like we kind of hit everything today. Totally. Even chickens having a period and how we eat eggs. You'll see. Now they're like, actually, I'm going to exit out of this podcast now that you say that. But so everybody, welcome back, Taylor Strecker. Let's talk about reality TV. Let's do it!
Starting point is 00:01:38 I feel like you're like saucy where you're like, I was born for this. Oh, girl, thank you. Yes, I feel it in my soul. I was grounded my entire junior year of high school because I was bad. And all I did was watch, oh no, no, she's still more coffee. Anyways, you're born for reality TV. Thank you so much. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 00:01:57 I watched a lot of in high school. So it was kind of like my addiction. and then, yeah, I mean, I just like, I was like, I'm, I'm a woman of a certain age. I was like, OG, what was it called? Hello, real world. Oh, real world. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Road rules?
Starting point is 00:02:13 We didn't have that in Canada. I don't think. People can correct me on that. I don't think you did. I really don't think we did. So I remember my first reality show I ever watched was The Bachelorette with Trista Sutter and then Big Brother. Those were my two first reality TV experiences and I still am committed to those shows.
Starting point is 00:02:29 That's how it happens. That's the loyalty. There is. Who's I talking about this with somebody the other day where we were saying there's such a loyalty to the Bachelor, Bachelorette franchise. And then there's a whole other Bravo world. Yep, that's my space. And that's your space. I'm obsessed. Now you're literally bravo, like you're in the Bravo world. So it is a Hulu world.
Starting point is 00:02:51 But it feels very Bravo adjacent. Yes. Right. Because Stasi's from the Bravo world. Yes. So I feel like she's built that. audience into this. Totally. And also like just for the record, like the way I would love to go on watch what happens live. It's a life long dream, Andy. So I was, Andy totally watches this podcast.
Starting point is 00:03:11 So you, no, I'm just kidding. Hey boy. Hi. But I feel like that's going to happen. I hope so. I don't know. I don't really know how much like synergy there is. Like I will, I will give credit. Hulu is very cool. Because we were filming House of Stasi and then Stasi got this offer to do her podcast like the video component on Netflix and they gave their blessing. Yeah, that is cool. Because they understand the benefits of and a lot of people like I always say ABC is ABC is affiliated with Hulu technically. Yes.
Starting point is 00:03:40 But the Bachelor franchise kind of has been very short-sighted until recently. Recently. Yes. I have to say something because otherwise I'm lying to you. Your tongue matches your outfit. Oh my God. I told you. I knew it.
Starting point is 00:03:51 I knew it. I had a tumor latte downstairs. What was I thinking? No, you can't see on the camera. It's more just like, I know because you told me, so then I looked at your tongue, and it matches your outfit, and it's kind of chic. Oh, my God. Thank you. I actually do that on purpose.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Roll with it because it's working for you. It's working. But yeah, you really were invested in the whole Bravo world. Now you're a part of the reality TV world. Yes. And that must be a very bizarre experience, but I do, like I said, feel like it's probably shocking. and you're like, and it's supposed,
Starting point is 00:04:29 like I'm supposed to be here. Yeah, it's a weird thing. It's very surreal. Because it's like, I've watched it for so long. So like, I get it, but then also like, I don't, like what I thought it was. Also, what we're doing is so different. So it's like the breaking of the fourth wall.
Starting point is 00:04:43 So, and like we were filming. Which, thank God, it's about time. It's about time. Like, audiences are smarter than this. They really are. It has been. Yeah. And so, but we were all kind of holding our breath.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Like, are people going to get it? Is it going to, like, throw them off? Is it going to be too different than what they're used to? And it's been received so well. So I'm, like, so happy because the audience gets what we're doing. And that's, like, a beautiful thing. So it is like, it's like same but different. You know, I think I came in very, like, guns ablazing.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Like, I remember thinking that, like, I was going to be walking into the lion's done, a la bravo. Yeah. You know, and so I was scared. I was like, relationships are going to be torn apart. Friendships ruin. Marriage is like, is my wife going to divorce me? Am I going to go to jail? Am I embezzling it?
Starting point is 00:05:24 I don't even know it. Those are the fears. It's true because you do become a target for all of those things. But I was like, no, this feels different. And listen, we're in season one. So like, toy, toy. I don't want to jinx anything. But like, it just, I actually said this to Stasi when we were during press week.
Starting point is 00:05:40 I was like, okay, go with me in this line of thinking. So back in the olden days, actors were considered like one step above. Back then they were called prostitutes now sex workers, right? Back in the old days. They were one step above? One step above. Really? And then like Hollywood came about.
Starting point is 00:05:56 I mean, listen, I don't know how olden days I'm talking, like Shakespeare olden days. I don't really know. I'm not history. Me either. I'm not history. But, I mean, now fast forward or even like in like the Hollywood golden era. Like, I mean, they're their deities. They're like God.
Starting point is 00:06:12 And that's kind of stayed true to form. I feel like for a long time, reality TV, like even Christina Kelly was on my podcast, talking about how when she didn't want to be on Vanderpump Rules because she was like acting and her boyfriend was like a legit DJ. And they were like untouchable. in Hollywood. It was like you couldn't get to a club if people recognize
Starting point is 00:06:29 that you were in the real world. And now it's really, it's come a long way but I feel like maybe House of Stasi maybe this is gonna be a time where like you can be on reality TV with like maybe the audience understanding that you're allowed to have integrity.
Starting point is 00:06:43 Like we're allowed to live our lives and yes, they'll be fighting but they'll also be resolution. Yeah. I'm just hoping we're entering like a new phase where it's like we provide entertainment for people as do actors. Right.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Like we should, quite frankly, be on the same wavelength. Entertainment's entertainment. Like, why should our lives be so... I feel like sometimes people talk about reality, like they can treat us however they want. And I don't know, maybe I'm hoping we're moving into a time where that starts to kind of shift. Well, I love that thought.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Is it? No. You're like, that's cute. I wasn't trying to like pop your balloon. No, no, no, no. No, I love that thought. I just feel like the people in this world, world are on fire and I'm scared.
Starting point is 00:07:27 It's a scary time to be alive. But I will say this show is doing something different and it is opening up a new perspective to the audience. I do agree with that. My girlfriend, my best friend since I was like little, Bree, she is obsessed with the show already. She's like, it's really good. And she's a reality TV connoisseur.
Starting point is 00:07:46 She was the reason I even got on The Bachelor and she watches it in Canada. So I'm not. Yep, that's why. But they don't have Hulu. Maybe it's so Disney Plus. Oh, Disney Plus. Yes, they have Disney Plus. They're divvying out the episodes differently, like in different parts of the world.
Starting point is 00:08:02 I know for sure. Okay. But I also, I don't know. I mean, as somebody who loves reality television, I love to binge, but then also I, like, mad at myself because then it's done. I know. But I will say this is a very rewatchable show. So if you've binged it, like, go back and watch it again.
Starting point is 00:08:18 Keep us in the top three forever. Well, that's the thing. Can't, don't you need, like, people to watch everything twice for it to? Yes. Sure. Because I think it, well, I remember talking to Jeff R. Curry, who's a comedian. I think that's how you say his last name, Arcuri. Arcuri.
Starting point is 00:08:33 And he was saying, like, how everyone needs to watch twice for, but it doesn't count after two times or something. Interesting. Well, I will say, the first time I watched it, I was watching through my fingers, like, scared. Like, what's going to, what's going to happen? Then I was like, okay, good. Like, I mean, listen, I did some cringe things. But, like, I was like, okay, it's not like, like, I felt good about it. We are all cringe.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Thank you, right? We are all cringe. Let's normalize cringe. I mean, it depends. There is a line. There is a limit. There is a limit. But there is, but we all.
Starting point is 00:09:04 A toot. We all, yeah, but we all are cringe in some capacity at some point in our lives. So when you have cameras following, following you around all the time, they're going to get some cringe moments. Yeah, I was like, I was very hot and heavy when Katie came in, and I got my back really up, really hardcore. And that was one of my cringe moments. I say it in the train. I'm like, you're going to push me out. And I, you're here to take my spot.
Starting point is 00:09:32 And I was like, oh, you weak, bitch. I don't say that. It's like, I literally, when I watched it, I was like, I did not say that. Well, but I fully did. Wait, so you. Very insecure way of thinking. I'm embarrassed.
Starting point is 00:09:43 What was your insecurity with Katie? Um, okay, so Stasi brought something up that I didn't even think of and like, my girl has my back, but it made so much sense. She was like, I have been like throughout this process. I've been here since the beginning. of like the conception of house of Stasi. Okay. So it's been four years in the making.
Starting point is 00:09:59 So I've been here every step of the way as like, I'm going to be in the cast, blah, blah, blah. Katie was a last minute edition. I didn't realize Katie was the last minute edition because Dossi wanted her so bad. I kind of guess I thought Katie just came back and was like, I want to be on it. Right.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Sossey was like hot and heavy trying to get her on the show. I didn't realize that until I watched it. So I was like, oh, I thought Katie was coming in. I don't know. And like she's like, she's a reality TV veteran. Maybe subconsciously I felt like she was going to, I don't know, like, come in and take my spot. But that's silly because there's enough room for everybody.
Starting point is 00:10:31 And Katie and Stasi have such a different relationship than I have with Tossi. Yeah. And also, like, it's very immature to think that your best friend can only have one best friend. We all do it. Baby shit. We all do it. So I fell victim to, like, that kind of middle school mentality. And now that we've filmed together, first of all, I have such an incredible respect for the craft
Starting point is 00:10:54 that is Katie Maloney in reality television. She's one of the goats. She's amazing. And she's such a natural. She really is. She's just so herself. It's wonderful. And then watching it, I'm like, oh, I get it now.
Starting point is 00:11:10 But thank you for being honest. Because that's a real thought that we all go through. And then the benefit of hindsight, looking back and being like, oh, I was just being insecure. And saying that out loud, that's not a lot of people could do that. Thank you. Yeah. No, so I actually really like that you said that. The self-reflection is beautiful. Thank you so much. Yeah, I really, I'm like self-aware after the fact.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Same. Yeah, but same. Not the moment. No, no, no, no. But that's also, I mean, we as viewers want that because we're all going to see ourselves in that where we go, oh, man, I've had that thought. How many girls out there, I want to know the answer to that, have best friends who you really believe they aren't allowed to have other best friends. friends, but you know that's ridiculous. And the thing that's crazy is Stasi could not be cooler with me having other best friends. So it's the most hypocritical thing on planet Earth. Like even like, she was with Morgan Stewart, who I think is just the coolest. She is the coolest. And I was like, you like this. You like this. You like this. You love Morgan. You like this. I have to like check it with myself. I'm like, oh my God, stop it. No, I do the same. My girlfriend, literally, because I moved out of Nashville and I was like, I'm going to get replaced. She's finding her other best friend who
Starting point is 00:12:22 has kids the same age as her kids and I don't have kids and she's going to play mahjong with her every weekend. Mahjong is a cult and I love it. I'm part of the cult. I'm learning. I'm in my enthrons and do it. Same. I've literally done it twice, but I know I'll be addicted very soon.
Starting point is 00:12:41 I know like you got your dots. Dots. I already forget because it was like two months. Yep, flowers. You got your dragons? Yeah. Ferries, dragons. Totally fairies.
Starting point is 00:12:54 It's not. I'm not a monochem. I literally had two practice rounds played once. Kind of got the concept, but the booklet with all the patterns really stresses me out. That's where I get. Like, what? Yeah, it really stresses me out. It's a lot.
Starting point is 00:13:08 But we should take play. Okay, I was just kidding. Because we're all new at it and we're in New York. No, honestly, can we please go take like have wine and take lessons? Yes, yes. Will you schlep to Jersey City? Yeah, of course. Okay, great.
Starting point is 00:13:20 So just come over and we'll, we met these incredible, women who are like are going to introduce us to really good coaches in the city and so and I guess you can play with three but we should probably get a fourth let's go my wife me you who okay Katie Thurston she wants to get into it okay great Claudia Osri yeah is she's so good she has no time to no she has no time for newbies like us although she would kick our asses what she loves to win she does love to win so maybe when she's back in the city but she's in the hamptons right now okay well she's in the hamptons we'll get like some practice rounds in and then we'll play with her and our girly swirl it can coming. If we don't actually do this, we're doing it. Okay. No, no, we're doing it. Okay. Talk about
Starting point is 00:13:57 self-awareness. What's what the social climbing that you were talking about the other day? Um, so, I've been saying this for years. Okay. Yeah, because I'm a professional social climber. Which, again, did I say that weird? Professional. Professional? Professional. Professional social climber. It started with Stasi. Yeah. But it actually really started with Kate Bosworth back in the day. Oh. Okay. Now, she did not let me social climb her. And I will never forget it, Kate. how do you like me now? And Kate also watch. Kate, I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 00:14:24 I've been like, this has been like a one-sided obsession for years. And if you go way back into Taste of Taylor, I did a solo podcast, maybe like a year or two ago, where I went on a full, I fully broke down my Kate obsession. And we share a best friend.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Shout out to Chris. Ooh, one degree of separation. Sent it to her. And so she fully knows how insane I am. Did she comment? She's very kind about it. She was just kind about it. She was just kind of like, oh, I always thought Taylor was cool.
Starting point is 00:14:52 And then I'm like, she didn't say dot, dot, dot, dot, but I'm like, and now you know I'm not. And then she was like, oh, my God, I didn't realize that I was such a big part of her story. And then it moved to sausage. And my first real boyfriend, Kate set me up with. Oh. Because she dated him. How do you know Kate? She moved to my town.
Starting point is 00:15:12 I grew up in the small town, coastal town outside of Boston called Cohasset. Okay. And like no new people came to town. Okay. So it was a big deal when someone you came in. And then Kay moves to town. She'd been in the Horse Whisperer. And I was like, I was Annie in the community theater production of Annie.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Like, I'm the star. And then she moved in so gorgeous. Hollywood, like, under her belt. And everyone just fell in love with her. And I left to go to all-girl Catholic school. So I left town and I felt like she replaced me times a gazillion. And clearly I couldn't get over it. So I tried to be your friend.
Starting point is 00:15:42 But I was a freak. So she rightfully so kept distance from me. And so you moved on to Stasi. and you're like next. So I moved on Stasi. But honestly, this sounds so I'm conscious. I have lots of famous friends. I'm clearly good at it.
Starting point is 00:15:57 That's the joke. Is that like, it's because I worked at Sirius for so long. And I use Serious to make friends with famous people. No, I do it with, this is my obsession with Big Brother. I'm a live feeder. I watch the live feeds. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:13 I then pick out who I'm going to force friendships on. Love, love, love. From Big Brother. and then they come off the show and then I podcast with them and then I show them how cool I am. Birds of a feather flocked together. I love it. So I understand. But I never thought of it.
Starting point is 00:16:27 It's social climbing. I think it's just you want you. You are fascinated by these people and you feel like you get to know them and then you're like, I want to be your friend. Thank you. Yeah. Maybe I should let that trope die because the thing is it's ultimately networking. No, I know social climbers.
Starting point is 00:16:40 And social climbing is such an ick word. I know. So is networking, though. But I think it's necessary. And I think it's such a beautiful thing. It really is. Yeah. And like we, in this business, it's so cool that we get to like be friends of people we do business with.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Yes. So it's how we make friends. It is. Yeah. You know? No, I think that's so true. So actually I went on this like press tour for Real Housewives of Rhode Island. And she kept saying like there needs to be Real Housewives of Nashville.
Starting point is 00:17:07 Well, I got a phone call. Stop. And then I came up with a list of people who I'm friends with in Nashville, like who I think would be good. And they were like, they're all famous. And I was, they're like, we need, they want people who like, you know, have history and a background and they've been friends for a long time. And they're not. But I was like thinking, they're like, wow, are those all your friends? And I'm like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Yeah, actually. Because I came off the show. And then I was scared to trust people because I had one friend, ex friend, who literally was just a fan, pretended not to be, became my friend. No. And then was like a, yeah. And so I got scared. Of course. But then I made friends of people who were like.
Starting point is 00:17:46 high up in the country music world who also douched me. So I was like, you just can't trust anybody. You really can't. That's the lesson. Don't trust anybody. But I see what you're saying. But yeah, let's drop the social climbing because I think it's okay. Okay, now I'm social climbing myself.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Yes. Now you're, now people will social climb you. Yay, Harkalese. Hercolese. Full circles. I love it. What a beautiful moment. Okay, I can handle a lot of things.
Starting point is 00:18:14 I really can. But being hot when I'm trying to sleep is now. one of them. I get so grumpy. But once I'm uncomfortable, it's just game over. I'm throwing one leg out of the covers, flipping my pillow over every five seconds debating whether I need to turn the AC down, another two degrees. It's just a whole production, you know? And for the longest time, I just assumed that that was part of summer, but turns out, nope, a lot of it comes down to your bedding. Sleeping hot, I don't know about you, but I think it's miserable. You blame the thermostat, the mattress, even the person you're sleeping next to, but it's none of that.
Starting point is 00:18:43 It's your betting. I promise wrong sheets, trap, heat, bowl and branch, is the cool side of the pillow, you know what I mean, but everywhere. Bull and branches' summer bedding options are breathable. They're lightweight, designed to keep you cool all night long. Their sheets are made with 100% organic cotton that's woven specifically for airflow, not just softness. Unlike synthetic, quote-unquote, cooling technology or chemically treated fabrics, the cooling is structural. So it's literally how the cotton is woven, and 94% of Bowlin Branch customers say their sheets got softer with every wash. And I'm in that 94%.
Starting point is 00:19:16 It's true. I've had the Bull and Branch on my bed for years and years, and honestly, I don't think I could go back. Well, I haven't and I won't. The first thing I notice when I climb into bed is just how cool and crisp those sheets feel, but they're still unbelievably soft. I love it. It's one of those little upgrades that makes such a difference. Genuinely, I sleep so much more comfortably and then I can't wait to get back into my bed when I travel anywhere. I swear. And that says a lot because hotel beds are comfy. But sleep cooler this summer with Bull and Branch. Starting point is 00:21:27 That's Nutrafol.com spelled N-U-T-R-A-F-O-L dot com. Promocode Vine. Did you have any hesitation about putting your life on TV? No. Love, thank you. Just straight. No hesitation. I've been in radio for so long.
Starting point is 00:21:48 I started it serious. You already shared a lot of your life. In 2006. And I kind of called it, like, I'm like, if I can't get on a reality TV show, I'll make my radio show, radio show, reality radio. So I've been sharing my life for years with my audience. So it's like same, same just with like a bigger platform now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:02 But what about boundaries? Did you have boundaries or rules when the cameras started rolling? No, no, no. You can't. I agree. You cannot. That is your, if you have boundaries, you're not good at your job. Like, and there are plenty of people who do come in with boundaries.
Starting point is 00:22:15 And that's a thing, though, it's like you put a target on yourself when you come on with boundaries. Yeah. You think you're controlling the narrative, but you're actually fucking yourself. Okay, explain that to people because I fully agree and I kind of did this where I was, I'm at such a different place in my life from when I went on The Bachelorette. And I just filmed this new show for this like reality retreat with a bunch of housewives and other people from Bravo World and from Netflix. And I went in being like, I have boundaries. No, girl, no. I know.
Starting point is 00:22:47 And I said they're like, we're going to get you. Yeah, but then they, I completely forgot about those boundaries a weekend. Fabulous. Yes, because I was like, oh, I can't do that. So I agree with you. But break it down for people to not have boundaries because I think some people might think that's not good, but it is. When you sign up for reality television, you're signing up to share your life. So if you're like, well, I'll talk about this, but I'm not talking about this.
Starting point is 00:23:08 That's just like you're, you're sucking at your job. Yeah. Also, I mean, you're going to piss off producers. your castmates, executives. And so I feel like you don't want to do any of those things. Yes. And your punishment will be people not respecting your boundaries. It's almost like saying, hey, here's my Achilles heel.
Starting point is 00:23:27 Yes, I agree. Just lean into all of it. It makes it confusing too. You make it a big deal. You make something that maybe isn't that big of a deal into a big deal. That's like when you go on The Bachelor, they ask you what your biggest fears are and then they put you in those situations. One million percent.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Yeah. That's always joked because the date that I had with The Bachelor, We went to Costco and like, kind of a dream. Yeah. And I was like, I shouldn't have never told them my fear was Costco. But that's what I went on. We went to Costco and like rolled around in one of those like bubbles that you like can't get hurt in. Now that's a nightmare.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Oh, it kind of was. It was kind of awkward. My hair was all staticy and going everywhere. And we were like in the ball together and like. And claustrophobic. Yeah. It was not good. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Yeah. But it was fun. Working with Tossi. Now you guys have been friends for how many years? God. I'm going to say if I've been with my wife for 11, I guess Dost. and I've been friends for 15. You've been with their wife for 11 years.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Which is insane because literally I also had a whole ass marriage before her. I know. Okay, we'll get there. I'm 102. Yeah. How many lives have you lived? A lot. But being friends with someone, I mean, you guys already kind of work together with the podcast.
Starting point is 00:24:32 Yes, but that's very new. I was going to say, but that's new. So what was it like working together? That's completely different. We really put all of the eggies in one basket simultaneously. So for years, we've been friends that support. each other in our podcast, but we are very separate. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:47 And then I'd say after like, I don't know, six, seven, eight years of friendship, she was talking about going on tour. And we were both repped at the time by UTA. And so my team was like, you should also go on tour. And I was like, you know what? I don't think I'm going to sell tickets out the way like I need you to keep me on tour. So why don't you guys pitch that I open for Stasi? Because I don't want to bring it as a friend because this is business.
Starting point is 00:25:11 Yeah. But we also were blessed. We were at the same agency. And so they did. And then you call me like, why are you being so weird? Just like, call me about it. And I was like, I don't know. I'm so weird.
Starting point is 00:25:18 And so that's when we started to actually work, work together. But it was very, you know, it's like you're three months on and then you're off for another, like a year and then you go back on tour. But like we've baby stepped it in because we love each other so much. We don't want to shit up with work. Totally. So we've been talking about joining forces for podcasting for years. And then like right as House of Stasi was getting greenlit, that's also when we were like,
Starting point is 00:25:42 let's like let me join stasi so it was straight up with stossi then it was just stossie and now it's stossie with tay but the whole Netflix thing that I didn't even know about until we were midway through filming house of stossie oh that was like a total surprise that's i just thought i was going to join her podcast and just like business as usual right but that really like leveled up so when katy said i was on the payroll initially when we started i kind of was like i go into her every now and then. Like, I'm doing this podcast. Like, it's not going to really be that big of a deal. And then all these huge things were happening. I was like, yeah, bitch, I want her payroll. And I love it here. And I like me on her payroll. I don't know why I got so defensive. It's
Starting point is 00:26:22 fucking great. I don't stop you that. I was like, I actually think that's so cool to have your friends on the payroll and then just keep everybody in one because she's an empire. Really? And like, she loves Chris Jenner. And she's like, I want to be that. I'm like, I will be any of the Kardashians. I'll even be Rob. I would. No, I did. You know, I didn't. I didn't. I take that back. I love you, Rob, but like, I want to be like, you know, public. But like any, anybody in the family, like, they're all thriving. Yeah. So, so you can really handle the criticism. Like if you were, you can. Okay. Because the Kardashians also get absolutely ripped apart. And I think they're, I think they're very smart. I think they all have good reputations
Starting point is 00:26:59 of being kind. Yes. And they're, they're very hard workers. And they are billionaires. So, well, that's the thing to be. You could like throw poo at me. the street if I'm a billionaire. I don't want to be. I don't want to be. I want a lot of ends. I'm not a lot of ends. I'm not well.
Starting point is 00:27:16 I just, I've met a lot of billionaires and they are f-up humans. The majority, but I actually feel this is so sexist. I feel like male billionaires, horrible, monsters. Female billionaires? Okay, you're right. Amazing. Tushé because I'm only, I'm only thinking of men.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Of course. Well, as a lesbian, I try not to. You right. You're right. You're right. Also, if you're a man and you're gay and you're billionaire, fabulous. It's just for straight male billionaires, really. Older, white, straight billionaires.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Okay, okay, correct, crack, crack, crack. Okay, we got there. Now I understand. Okay, I'll take a bee. Right? Fine, I'll take a bee. Where were we? Kardashians.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Oh, yeah. Yes. So, yeah, the whole payroll thing I thought was so funny because I was like, yeah. But I feel like filming that much with somebody when you are friends. Yeah. It can strengthen your relationship. It can test your relationship.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Absolutely. What did it do for you guys? I think because I've watched Raleigh TV for so long and like, you know, I mean, I love Housewives, but it's toxic A.F. I walked into filming with a lot of fears. Like these are my most important relationships. Dossie is my best, best, best, best, best, best friend. And my wife, Teddy is the absolute center of my universe, love of my life. I mean, I was doing an interview for press and I said it was a joke, but it's the truth.
Starting point is 00:28:35 The only thing I love more than fame is my wife. life. Okay. What a beautiful foundation to live off of. Thank you so much. Because that's... And now my child. I'll add my child to the name.
Starting point is 00:28:46 But that's how it has... That's how it can work. But these are like the most important things in my life. And so to put them out, to put them in a place that feels dangerous by nature is a scary thing. But I'm, you know, again, we're only season one. But like, Stasi and I are so strong. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:02 And so am I with my wife. And I really feel like reality TV exposes the cracks and weaknesses. but I actually think it can strengthen solid foundations. I agree. At least that's what I'm telling myself. No, I actually agree. Stasi and I were actually talking about that, how it brings everything to the surface and it does.
Starting point is 00:29:20 It forces you to repair the rips in all friendships and all relationships because you're facing it head on. You can't just leave. That's ruining a storyline if you just leave it. Absolutely. And you bury it down and then you move past it. You have to address it. And you have to repair it.
Starting point is 00:29:36 And then you move forward. forward quicker. I feel closer to Stasi than like ever before and we are have always been very close. Yeah. The thing with me is that like, and I've explained to Stasi because when she's like, we're closer, I feel like we're always that close. And I'm like, no, this is not about you. This is like a, as Stossie loves to say, a me burden. Like I, I had a lot of toxic, toxic friendships growing up. And like so much so that when I fell in love with my now wife, my mom was like, do you just think that you're not a lesbian and a girl's being nice to you? If that's any indication of how toxic my friendships were.
Starting point is 00:30:12 I know. So I have like these, I'm carrying around like baggage from past trauma with girlfriends. So I'm always waiting for the other she to drop in female friendships. And that is no bearing on Stasi and how she's, she's a wonderful friend. I'm just like, I'm also a little bit of a catastrophist. Like I'm like, doomsday thinking. Totally like, when's the shoe going to drop? Yeah, I need that too. Like, like, when is, toss again and realize I'm a big loser and like, you know, not want to be my friend. Like it has nothing to do with her and everything to do with my own insecurities.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Again, self-aware queen. We, we, we, I think it's the therapy. It's got to be the therapy. It is the therapy. It's age. It's therapy. It's having a child. It's all the things of the life experiences where you, you, you, and being able to look
Starting point is 00:30:57 back at your childhood and seeing how much that formed and shaped. Totally. Totally. And then knowing that that's not right. Right. And now this is what somebody on my podcast told me, we just have to get to the place now where you don't even have the thought of this is what's going to. Because you're like we said, you have the catastrophe and then later you're able to reflect and go, oh, that was wrong. We got to get to the place where that doesn't even happen.
Starting point is 00:31:23 But you're on your way because therapy. Yeah, on the way. Yeah, I love that. Always evolving. Always evolving. What's something behind the scenes of filming reality TV that blew your mind that viewers would be like, what that happens? God. I'm trying to think.
Starting point is 00:31:35 well, I've said before, and I'll say it again, like, I didn't realize that I had a bad side. Like, let me be very clear. I didn't, like, it's not like I'm like, I'm gorgeous. I have, both the sides of my face are beautiful. I didn't realize how deeply bad the right side of my face was. Welcome to television. Oh, my God. Also, carotin.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Oh, girl, the first few episodes, I did not have a carotin treatment. What's carot? And I look like Richard Simmons's hair. Oh, like de-frizzing. like sleek, wait, do I need this? Well, your hair looks great. Well, it's fake. Same.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Is it? Yes. Oh, it looks so good. But no, keratin is like, it's a kerosstos. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think Lisa Barlow talked about it. She was like, carastas thermatic or whatever it is. So, yeah, that was necessary.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Okay. And also, like, it's easy not to think that you need glam every scene, but guess what, girl, you don't need glam every thing. Yeah. Yeah. Like I really, and I'm not very good at doing my own makeup. So did you have glam for filming? Like 50-50. And you can tell when I'm not and when I am. Yeah, that's, we didn't have glam. Well, some people had glam at the show I just filmed and I didn't. I die. And I feel like you're good at doing your own makeup. Thank you. I think I am too. But I was, we were going in the water. We were doing that. I didn't even do glam half the time. And I was like, this is going to be, it's going to be very healing for me. And that's what part of the show was. It was about a healing journey. And part of. of my, I get so insecure on watching myself back. Me too.
Starting point is 00:33:09 And not just my looks, how many times I say like, um. Okay, fine. That's the one. That's the one. What is my problem with like? We all do it. I want to call us out, but they would do the same thing. I want to kick my television.
Starting point is 00:33:25 When I'm in my interviews, it's like, like, like, like, like, nonstop. Because it's a flower word. I like, get it together. Like, it's crazy. I enjoy hearing other people. talk when they know how to fill the space with something else than like. So I'll listen to somebody like a professional speaker or somebody that goes, you know, and I go, I got to integrate that.
Starting point is 00:33:45 And then I hear a clip back and I'm like, you know. You know what actually speaking of you know, I say you know a lot in the show. Or I say I know. I know. I know. And that's my empathy. Like I'm relating to you. But also like Bo at one point says that Stasi and he's like Stossie and I are like,
Starting point is 00:34:01 I feel like we're roommates. And I go like this, I know. And then when I watch what I'm like, no, you don't, bitch, it's his news. I know. No. We all have our things. Oh my God. You know what I do all the time?
Starting point is 00:34:14 One time I said, tell me you listen to my podcast without telling me you listen to my podcast. So people would do things that I do or say what I say. And I realize I do this all the time. Really? I do it all the time. Really? I die. You'll probably see me do that a million times out here.
Starting point is 00:34:28 But it's so I'm, I like finding out things that I do. My greatest gift in life would be if somebody mocked me on SNL. Oh, me too. Wouldn't that be cool? I loved you. Or I want to be booed in a stadium. No, couldn't handle that. Oh, I couldn't handle that.
Starting point is 00:34:44 I'd be like, oh my God, I'm getting out. It's on my bucket list. I want to get booed in a stadium. Yeah. That is wild. If they ever show me on a big screen somewhere and you guys are there, boo me. No, don't boo me. I'll crumble and die.
Starting point is 00:34:54 People booed Taylor Swift. I guess so. And she's like, and then she moves on because she has a B. Because she's a baddie. Yeah. I know. because she has a bill. If I have a bee, you can boo me.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Yeah, okay. B is for booing. Okay. Okay. That's fair. That's actually fair. That's the rule. How did your wife feel about filming?
Starting point is 00:35:13 Because she doesn't necessarily sign up for the public life. Yeah. So what kind of conversations did you guys have before agreeing to do this? How did she feel? Years ago, like when I was just like, I want to be on the house live. She was like, absolutely not. So she worked for years in tech. First was production, and then she shifted over to tech.
Starting point is 00:35:32 So when she was in that world, she was like, absolutely not. But she worked at a tech company that, like, everybody got, it wasn't even, like, laid off. They, like, went into, like, whatever. It's got, like, everybody got furloughed, basically. Yeah. And so she was going to get another job in tech, but she's like, this tech life is just very intense. Yeah. And she said, you know what?
Starting point is 00:35:51 I think maybe I'll come over and try to run your, our business. And I was nervous because I'm like, we're putting all of our eggs in one basket. Also, she was our health care. So I was very nervous about that. But she said, just give me. six months. Give me like a test run. And she made her salary that she lost in tech in six months of working for my business. Hello girl. So she now works full time. She runs everything. Wow. And so she saw the value. Because she was working so closely with the business. So that's really what got her
Starting point is 00:36:22 on board. Okay. That makes so much sense. Yeah. I didn't know this. So now watching back, nervous at all or no? No. She really is kind of a natural, it's super annoyed. because like I've been doing this for 20 years and she just gets to float in with her long legs and blonde hair and her six feet tallness and just oh god she looks so good on camera the camera loves her isn't that amazing I feel like that always works that way doesn't it so annoying she gets more Instagram followers than me she's gonna now but I said that everybody go follow her and go follow me please God Dossie's going to never let me live it down if I don't get more Instagram followers oh how many do you have right now well
Starting point is 00:37:02 Well, not your eyes lighting up. I was at 134, not that I was counting. And like a week after the show came out, like so actually not even. It's been like a weekend. I'm at like 143. Oh, let's go. So we're going. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:37:18 We have so far to go. No, but that is, it's very hard to grow these days. Whatever. You guys all have so many. Yeah, but I was on the Bachelorette in like the height of Bachelorette and that, that helped. But I used to be at 2 million. I'm at 1.8, girl. I'm dropping.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Girl, it's okay. I'll give me anyone. It's just sometimes it's scary the level of like hate that this one man has towards women in general. You can just tell. Right. And it's scary because I'm like he's the guy you will find on a Netflix documentary and he when he murders me. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:37:49 I also have the doomsday thinking. But he was like, I did a video of my hotel room the other day and he was like, people can barely afford to live and you're making fun of this hotel room. And I was like, no, I got the hotel room. I chose that hotel room. I'm not making fun of, oh, I'm making, I'm laughing at it, but I'm not saying, Ew, I'm so much better than this. And I can't believe I'm in this hotel.
Starting point is 00:38:11 I was laughing because I had a massive jacuzzi right next to the bed and like a really terrible little. How 1980s. It was hilarious. And then I looked out the bedroom window and there was like a man smoking crack next to a truck. And it was right into the parking lot. And I was just laughing at like, but look at this view. And I was just, that's my humor. And he was like, calling me a stupid, disgusting bitch and tell.
Starting point is 00:38:32 me he hopes my dogs die. Yeah. People are wild on the internet. It is crazy that like I'm like chicken or egg where people always is hateful or did the internet give them license to be. Also please don't get me started on the chicken and egg conversation because I have been doing a lot of research on that.
Starting point is 00:38:48 And? So an egg is technically a chickens period. I died. I love egg whites. Is the period the yolk? Because I can't stand a yolk. It is because it's and it's Then what is the white?
Starting point is 00:39:05 Because you have to... I don't want to know. It's one of my main sources of protein. It's discharged. Oh, my God. Discharging period. I'm dead. But you have to have a rooster to fertilize the hen.
Starting point is 00:39:18 That's where the chicks come in. Do they have sex? Yes. Stop it. Hens, chickens just lay eggs every month because it's their period. And so technically, the egg came first because at some point an egg had to be laid by a like, let's say a dinosaur, chickens are actually dinosaurs. You get out of my face with this.
Starting point is 00:39:38 This is insanity. And then so the egg came first because the chicken had the hatch. So the egg came first is what I'm getting at. So we're eating chicken dinosaurs. Yeah, periods. Periods. With discharge. Hi, Dye.
Starting point is 00:39:54 Where were we? I don't know. I love it here, though. I don't know if you can hear Pino and Raman behind me. They're literally play fighting. They have completely different personalities. and they somehow manage to make me giggle every single day while also keeping me on my toes, I swear.

Since you're on my podcast last, last you guys became parents. I think so many women listening, like whether their moms or trying to become moms or just curious, can relate to this journey in life no matter what.
Starting point is 00:43:17 But at what point did your conversation go from like maybe someday to, okay, let's do this? I was really trying to hold off for as long as humanly possible. I did not want to have children. Okay. But I knew that my wife would resent me if she didn't ever have children because it's like her destiny to be. a mom and she's so maternal. But were you scared that you would have resentment by having children because it wasn't something you were interested in? Yes. But if someone has to be resentful in the relationship, I'd rather be in control of the resentment. Resentment. Like I need to be the captain
Starting point is 00:43:56 of the resent train. Got it. You know, a boat in this case. Yeah. So, yeah. But like, I am so in love with this baby that there's zero resentment. There's zero resentment. I'm so grateful. Like I can't imagine not having her in my life. But I want to be very clear. To anybody who's like listening, watching who doesn't want kids, I'm not one of those parents like, oh my God, you never understand the love if you don't do it.
Starting point is 00:44:21 It will be that big aspect out of your life. I still can hold space for like people living their fucking best life. Yeah, absolutely. Without kids. I'm not going to say that I'm jealous because I love baby Bow so much. But like I, like, that's a very valuable life as well. Yeah. And that was a life.
Starting point is 00:44:40 that I thought I was going to have. And so like, but I also kind of feel like I have found a loophole and it is one. One and done? I would like to be one and done. Yeah. My wife does not feel the same. Okay. So we will deal with that at a different moment in time.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Right. We're just kind of like, like she's seven months old at this point. Like we're not discussing it now. I want to enjoy her. Yeah. But I think this is where I'm going to really dig my heels in. And I think there was a part of me too that thought, I don't want kids, but I am concerned that I might have regret if we don't, like I might regret one day not having any and not
Starting point is 00:45:14 experiencing that. So I'm so happy that this is what we decided to do. Yeah. But I do think I will regret having another. I don't think I'm going to be a great parent too because I always joke that I'm the dad and Taze the mom, which is super insulting to dads and I don't care. But like, although I do, you know, I am best friends with a dad who is such an incredible dad, Bo Kark.
Starting point is 00:45:37 So maybe I do need to kind of back off that like dad joke because it's not fair to the dads that are insanely involved like a beau. Sure. But, you know, I just, I feel like Teddy, she deserves to be put in a pedestal. By the way, Teddy is your wife. Teddy is my wife who is also named Taylor. Yes. It's highly confusing. Yes.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Well, that's like the Lottner's. Taylor and Taylor Lerner. Yes. And but they share a last name. We at least have different last names. But there was a moment in time on the show where like all the sudden people were calling me Stracker. And I was like, that needs to stop. Oh.
Starting point is 00:46:05 But I've also seen accusations online that I may. made my wife change her name because of the show. Like, girl, take many seats. Wait. She, her family. It's wild. I also got a DM recently like, you weren't there for the birth of your child. Where are you people?
Starting point is 00:46:22 Are you? Yes. Oh, they're just making shit up. Barely. Isn't, oh, okay. It was like six days. What do you mean? I got home six days before the baby was born.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Oh, it was supposed to be two weeks, but she decided to come early. So I was worried about. missing it. But I wasn't like that. I wasn't like on track to miss it. I want to clarify that. Thank you for that. And I also want to clarify my wife's whole family calls her Teddy and have her whole life. So Stasi and Bo and our L.A. fam have been calling her teddy for years. So it's not, she didn't just do it for the show. Got it. I selfishly love the branding of us being the Taylor. So that's why I'm kind of like pushing this agenda. If anything, I'm making her still be Taylor. People are crazy. People are crazy. It's someone sat here and I'll never forget.
Starting point is 00:47:07 I forget who it was, but I'll never forget what they said. And I've repeated it on the podcast before because it makes so much sense. But when you're in reality TV or you're in the world as a public figure and people think they know you, they fill in the gaps where you, where there's space to do so. Totally. And so they will make up their own story and they will believe it and then they run with it. And if people catch onto it online, then they believe themselves and then it becomes a story. I know. It's really crazy.
Starting point is 00:47:33 Yeah. I feel like for queer couples, you have to think about so many different things. that straight couples never have to think about. 100%. How did you decide who would carry the baby? So I, aside from not wanting kids, I also did not want to be pregnant. Oh, so it was an easy conversation. Very.
Starting point is 00:47:49 And she, Teddy was like, all I want to do is carry. So I was like, girl, you go Glenn Coco. You live your best life. You go Glenn Coco. But I also, there was a conversation of like me also fertilizing my eggs with our sperm donor. So our children would be like half siblings. Yeah. But I, first of all, I'm older and I'm cheap.
Starting point is 00:48:09 So I didn't want to waste money. And also, I really like am crazy to the point that I was scared that if we had one of Teddy's and one of mine, I would be mean to mine and be like, you're not like your sibling. So I was like, just for everybody's mental health. Sure. Let's just stick with Teddy's baby. So even if, so if we end up having more than one, the embryos will be fully Teddy. and our sperm donor. Oh, that's nice.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Okay. Again, so many things to think about. But I had to adopt baby bum. Oh, really? Well, I didn't have to, but we're living in crazy times, like Handmaid's Tale feels threateningly close. I can't even talk about it. So just for safety, we like crossed all the T's and dotted all the eyes. Got it.
Starting point is 00:48:56 But yeah, but it's kind of a wild thing to have to adopt your own child. Wow. Was that a crazy process? It really was a lot easier than I expected. but we had really good lawyers and we really were ahead of it. But like that is my number one recommendation to all queer couples. Like definitely go ahead and make sure that whoever the biological, whoever isn't the biological parent, make sure to adopt your child.
Starting point is 00:49:18 Okay, that's, I wouldn't have ever thought about that, but that makes a lot of sense. Yeah. Wow. What was it like watching your wife become pregnant and like carry a baby? It happened so much faster than I thought. I really was like, okay, we're going to try. It's going to take like a minute because IVF tends to do that. And we're so lucky and blessed, but like it happened like a little tough. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:38 Like I was like, wait a second. Yeah. I thought it was going to take like in here. So it was crazy to watch. But I, it was, it was like, it's very much a miracle. It's kind of crazy. Like I look at her our baby now and I'm like, you were literally in mom's, mama's tummy. I know.
Starting point is 00:50:00 When we were filming. Like Baby Bo is on the show. She's just, you know. It blows my mind every time I think about it that a woman's body can literally grow a brain, kidneys, lungs, fingernails, eyelashes. In all the right spots. In all the right spots. What? What?
Starting point is 00:50:17 And a personality. And like your uterus just expands and this baby just grows and it's just living in this little cocoon sucking liquids through tubes. What? What? And how was it breathing? One time I said that babies had gills. That was wrong. That was incorrect.
Starting point is 00:50:30 I don't know where I got that from. Well, because you would think, because that's how fish breathed. How do they breathe? I don't know. And then how traumatic for them to just be in this cozy little space and just come out to the world and be like, wow. Kind of a vagina. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:45 It's so insane. It's one of those, like it makes me feel high when I talk about it because I like can't wrap my head around. No, it like makes absolutely no sense. Oh my gosh. That's crazy. Who is who, well, I guess she's only seven months, right? You said.
Starting point is 00:50:59 Yeah. Who's like the stricter parent. the warrior who's the softer? Like are you, do you guys have your roles yet or? Yeah, is. Teddy is the stricter parent because she, so I always say that I'm like 33.3.33.3%. I'm like a third.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Yeah. And also my job is to support my wife. Yeah. That's my role is like I am the Sherpa. I get whatever she needs me to get. That's nice. So, but like I don't know the baby schedule. Like last night, Tay was taking a nap and I was with the baby up with the baby at like 6 p.m.
Starting point is 00:51:28 And, um, because Teddy loves to sleep. So I try to like whenever I can let her. sleep because she's with the baby so much. I want to try to let her get her little nap sign. I will need someone. And also we work from home so we make her own schedule. So it's really nice that we're able to do that. Also this baby sleeps 12 hours and then we're beautiful. She's unreal. Weeks up in the morning has a bottle and goes immediately back to bed. So if we're like a little hung over, we can go back to bed with her. And sleep 12 hours. What? That's amazing. It's wild. Wow. But I was with her at like six and I was like, what do we do at 6 p.m.?
Starting point is 00:51:58 Yeah. Do we eat? Do we play? Like I don't know the rules. So I guess I would make Teddy the boss. Walking around with her like this, like, ah. Are we going to go to get ourselves in the mirror? What are we going to do? Tommy time. But I am more anxious. Like, we were at Stasi and Bo's hotel room when we were here for press weekend.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Baby Bo came one night. And we ordered like chicken fingers and caviar. And everybody was like, let's give Baby Bo caviar. And I was like, she could go into animal life shock. Yeah. And they were like, that's not a thing. And I was like, but it's like fish and like fish allergies. They're like, it's not a thing.
Starting point is 00:52:29 Oh. And I'm like, but no. But absolutely. Absolutely not. And then it was like, well, what about a French fry? No. Like, I'm weird with her. Like, and also she was born during flu season.
Starting point is 00:52:40 So I was insane. I mean, everybody wore masks. Yeah. No, I'm like crazy. That's okay. You're being protective. I'm so protective. That's sweet.
Starting point is 00:52:48 But like, I'm not really in charge. So it's like fraudulent. Yeah. Tay like lets me think I am. But you're still apparent. Yeah. But like, if push comes to shove, my vote, like, Tay wins. And she deserves to.
Starting point is 00:53:02 Okay, I love that you know that, though. Yeah, 100. Whoever carries is ultimately the winner. Yes. That's how it goes. Wow, good for you. Whoever's a primary caretaker is the boss. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:12 That's how it goes. Wow. Yeah. Beautiful partnership you have. Thank you. Yeah, that's really nice. Okay, so I'm curious where you draw the line with reality TV. So I'm going to ask you, would you let the cameras film?
Starting point is 00:53:23 Okay. Blank. A huge fight with Teddy. 100%. Beautiful. 100%. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:29 Let's go. Marriage counseling. A million percent. I love therapy. I want to share it with the world. Okay, same. A family holiday. Ooh, no.
Starting point is 00:53:41 Okay. She has a boundary. Because they have boundaries. Okay. So like my brother-in-law, who is like I die for him. He's very private. Okay. He doesn't even really love to have his picture taken.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Actually, my other brother-in-law, like on Tays side, my brother-in-law doesn't love, like, anything public. And my sister's husband also, was very private. Like he doesn't, he, I've never posted a picture of my niece and I respect those boundaries. Okay. So for that reason, I would say no, just because I like love and respect my family. That's very fair. Okay. Would you let cameras film a baby birth? So we filmed the birth. You did? Yeah. Where is it? I want to watch. Okay. Well, when you come over from Mangon, yeah, we'll watch it because everybody's seen Tay's vagina at this point. Okay, great. Um, but, But like if we get a season two and if they want the footage, I mean, ultimately it's my wife's behina.
Starting point is 00:54:39 Yeah. So it's up to her. But like I would totally be down for everybody to see that birth. It's beautiful. It is. It's a fucking miracle. I sob every time I watch it. I bet.
Starting point is 00:54:51 It's crazy. That is crazy. Okay. Would you let them film your Google search history? That's embarrassing. Mine is so weird. Mine is so weird. Mine just, like, makes me look dumb because I can't type with my thumbs.
Starting point is 00:55:07 So, I don't know. They're just chubby. So I, like, there's a gillian misspellings. Oh, okay. That's pretty innocent. But also, like, I feel like I'm, like, usually looking for clothes. Oh. Or, like, is my baby going to die?
Starting point is 00:55:22 That sounds very reasonable. Like, she does this thing with her tongue where she's flipping her tongue. And I'm like, my baby's flipping her tongue. Is there something wrong with her? And? I don't know. Unconfirmed. We got to ask the doctor. Usually Google has like, we found one of eight million searches. But for that one, they're like nothing. It's too. Well, it's like, they're usually doom and gloom. So I just like, oh yeah, don't do that. I don't like that. Don't do that.
Starting point is 00:55:44 Yeah. Last question is what is next? Are you one of those people that have like a vision board and you have a goal that's really big that you want to do next? Terrible at that. That's okay. The answer could be no. Well, the answer should be yes. That's like maybe you're very content with where you're at right now. and you just hope to continue this journey. I feel like we've laid the foundation of our business for so many years. I've been in this business for 20 years. Yeah, that's great. So I feel like what I want is for like Taste of Taylor to get bigger. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:13 I want, you know, my social media to get bigger at Taylor Streckel. I was going to say, tell everybody. At Taste of Taylor. Yeah. daily show on Patreon. So it's patreon.com slash taste of Taylor. So if you, if Monday's just not enough, come over to Patreon. And then my social media at Taylor Strecker, like, I mean, it's a business for us.
Starting point is 00:56:44 It is. And so please, please go follow me there because I have a lot of catching up to do with my friends and peers. And that's pretty much the bulk of business. But I definitely like, I want, I want skies the limit when it comes to this, you know, this industry. And I want so many more seasons of House of Stasi's like whispers of spin-offs, but like kind of
Starting point is 00:57:09 all a Kardashian. Like Courtney and Chloe take Miami and then come back to the, yeah. So I'm like, Teddy and I could, we could do an NYC spin-off. Totally. I will join. Exactly. I will play Mahjong with you. But like not to leave House of Stasi. That's all, that's the home base always. Right. But like, yes, like I want to be like on your
Starting point is 00:57:28 fucking TV non-stop. That's so great. And I don't know, I really want when, okay, so we work with Disney now, right? So they like, they kind of give you a questionnaire like a wish list. And they were like, if there was an article written about you, what would that headline be? So I was like, God, Taylor Shrekker is a billionaire. But I decided to say America's favorite lesbians. That's the headline. I want to be America's favorite lesbian couple.
Starting point is 00:57:54 Yeah. And we're also in scary times. So I think we really need a favorite lesbian couple. Yeah, we do. You know, it's time. So I really want to be just like Inescapable but in a good way Unavoidable but like people are happy to see our faces
Starting point is 00:58:10 Yeah not in a way you're like them again I want to be famous you are No we're not there yet oh I want to be like you're recognizable I am notable notable I think yeah recognizable fair enough I want to not be able to leave my house No I'm joking that was a joke that was a joke oh god careful what you wish for That would be terrible actually yeah I think about Taylor Swift didn't like be I'm not saying that I'm anywhere near.
Starting point is 00:58:33 But you'd want that? No, I actually wouldn't. I would want it to be a little bit more civilized. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's like too much. I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it either. But then you have bodyguards, so you feel protected, but still.
Starting point is 00:58:44 I know, but that's just expensive. Yeah, well, they can afford it. They absolutely can. They probably don't even bat an eye at that. I know. Well, I could talk to you all day, but we're going to wrap it up. I love you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:53 Because we both are booked and beze today. We are indeed. But thank you so much for coming on. And congratulations on everything. Thank you. Everything. It all happened at once. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:02 But it's great. You're living your dream. Thank you. Yes, I am. You've arrived at your destination of where you've wanted to be. It only took me two decades to get here and a lifetime. That's patience and manifesting. It doesn't happen overnight.
Starting point is 00:59:15 It's true. Yeah. Keep going. Thank you so much. Thank you. Have fun today. Thank you, you too. Yeah.
