Starting point is 00:00:57 Get ready to shake things up. Here's Caitlin. Welcome to Off the Vine. I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow, in the studio today. We have Lowe, my favorite co-host. Jason Tarduk, my second favorite co-off. I'm fine to be second-mind, Lowe. I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:01:12 You are both my favorite. And Tommy from Big Brother. Oh, my gosh. I'm literally. The one and only. We were so excited to meet you today. Like, your energy and just you and, like, you were our favorite person to watch. I hope Jackson and.
Starting point is 00:01:27 Oh, I didn't hear me. They just left, but I'm in, like, such a big brother mode right now from talking to them. But I'm so excited to meet you and talk to you and just like, let's talk about all our connections. I was on Broadway. You're on Broadway. Jason's brother works in Broadway. Lo. My brother works.
Starting point is 00:01:46 I love Broadway. Oh, my gosh. And Lo loves Broadway. I do love a good Broadway show. I love Broadway too so much. This is so exciting. So tell us about your background in Broadway, how you got there, what you do, and stuff. work at a stage.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Yeah. Oh my gosh. This is, first of all, like, let me just say, I'm so happy to be here, you guys. This is my first podcast ever. Ever? So I'm so, I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just, I'm talking into the camera, I guess, and that's it. That's all you do.
Starting point is 00:02:09 I love you guys. This is amazing. We love you. So, yes, thank you for having me. Of course. Okay, but, yeah, so I started, I'm from Staten Island, New York. Yeah. And I grew up going to a dance school out there, starstruck dance studio.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Shout out to them. I love them. I danced my whole life. Oh, it's the best. And your hometown student. there's nothing like it. LA Dance Academy. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Except Leduc, Alberta in Canada. Not L.A. No, yeah. Go on. So you grew up dancing. So, yeah, I grew up dancing, and I, like, loved acting, too. And then I, it was my teachers in junior high school that encouraged me to audition for the Performing Arts High School.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Like, it's the school that the movie fame is based off of. It's LaGuardia High School. So I wound up going there for acting, and I was dancing at Starstruck still. Yeah. And then my teachers in LaGuardia high school convinced me to put those two together take some singing lessons and then just jump right into auditioning and that's what I did after high school.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Oh, wow. That's amazing. How old are you right now? I'm 29 now. I turned 29 in the house this year. Oh, you did? Happy birthday. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:03:12 And so you're doing, are you, do you get to go back to Pretty Woman now? Pretty Woman closed while I was in the house and I had no idea. Oh, yeah. I found out on finale. Wait, we just skipped 18 to 29. I know, I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:03:24 So what were you for your first show? I just got excited. I know. It's going to happen. I guess how. I want to know your story. Yeah, of course. So after high school, I just started auditioning.
Starting point is 00:03:35 I was booking work. It was, you know, in the theater world, there's non-union work and union work. And non-union work is really tough. They don't pay you a lot at all. You're working really tough hours. There are no rules. They can overwork you, right? Because there's no regulation.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Yes. At some point, I was doing high school musical. in New Hampshire making $125 a week. Not-uh. Yeah. But that's what you do. Like there are hundreds of people that would sign up to do these shows. Wow.
Starting point is 00:04:06 And just so much talent. Does it look good on a resume or something? Yeah. What's the point of that? I'd rather go work at Chipotle. Well, listen, I know. I hear you. He gets some free meals.
Starting point is 00:04:14 I know. He's probably passionate about it. I'm sorry. I do love Chipotle. Yeah. It's all about the passion. There are like literally thousands of people that would still want that $125 a week. week paying job. It's crazy. But it's about building your resume. So I did non-union work for four
Starting point is 00:04:32 years. I wound up doing the beauty and the beast tour. That was so fun. I got to tour the country. And I feel like those, it was four years that I was doing non-union work. And those were kind of like my college years. A lot of people go to college for musical theater. I didn't do that. It was a little less traditional, conventional, whatever my journey. But I feel like I learned from doing. So after that, I booked Newsies, which was my Broadway debut. So cool. It was amazing. It was like, oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:04:59 What theater was that in? It was in the Niederlander theater, which, funny enough, was fast forward. Again, I'm skipping ahead, but that's the same theater that Pretty Woman played in. Oh, no way. So there are 45 Broadway theaters, and the two Broadway shows I've done have been in the same theater. Like, literally, what are the odds? So, yeah, that's kind of me. After Newsies, it was a few more years of working, teaching.
Starting point is 00:05:23 I love to teach so much. Oh, teach what? Like theater? Okay, amazing. Yeah, it's amazing. I'm just as passionate about teaching as I am performing. Oh, that's cool. So I dove into that.
Starting point is 00:05:35 I opened up a company, lionauts with one of my best friends. So cool. And then Pretty Woman happened. And then Big Brother happened. Yeah, we're going to get to that. Do you know Brennan Hunt? Yeah, he was in my show, but I didn't get to work with him. Okay, so he's one of my friends in Nashville.
Starting point is 00:05:53 And we write songs together. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, he's amazing. I love him and his wife and their family so much. And I was so proud of him for getting that because he did, what was the live show he did where he broke his leg, rent, and he ended up having to perform the whole thing in a wheelchair. That was insane. Yeah, but he was so good. The whole theater.
Starting point is 00:06:11 Well, I mean, I'm sure they would have preferred it differently, but. Because I would think, isn't that where you get the understudy? Like, you hope someone breaks a leg. That's a good. Literally, right. And they put him on still. he was that good. What did they mean when they say break a leg in theater?
Starting point is 00:06:26 Oh my gosh. What is that from? And I know this story. I do too. My mom told me and I can't remember. I think you're saying good luck. It's bad luck to say good luck. It's saying, right.
Starting point is 00:06:36 So they say, break a leg. There's a song about that. Like, I hope you hurt yourself. No. So I get the roll. That's so funny. When you are, can I ask? Of course.
Starting point is 00:06:47 Of course. It's not your podcast. It's not your. Freaking podcast. But I'm glad we went back to that the last 10 years. Got the role for Pretty Women. Did you know an audition? Like, I nailed this.
Starting point is 00:06:59 I always want to know like, or newsies, were you like, okay, I got this in the bag. They're obsessed with me. Or were you shocked? I think that everybody has different experiences as far as that goes. But for me, I always have a feeling when it's going to go my way. There's just something. And you can have great auditions and not get the job. But there's something that happens in the room.
Starting point is 00:07:21 when you know you're getting that job and it is a feeling it's the way that you communicate with the creative team it's just an energy in the room that I mean a pretty woman happened and I knew I was gonna get it I felt it and I got the call like an hour later
Starting point is 00:07:35 so can I tie that to Big Brother when you interviewed for Big Brother did you have that same feeling or were you completely shocked well it's it's a little mixed because Big Brother I've actually been trying to get on the show for about six years now oh no way I auditioned since season 16
Starting point is 00:07:50 You got to go on They don't take Canadians What? Yeah That's a thing Yeah they don't take Canadians But can't we get you a dual citizenship? Well if Jason would marry me
Starting point is 00:08:01 That'd be I don't go on the show though They have the celebrity big brother And I'm like I don't consider myself a celebrity But I've seen who they put on that show And I could totally be on it Yes a thousand percent Yes
Starting point is 00:08:14 But it's not as hell as what you guys go through Yeah but it's kind of the better version Honestly It is in certain But you get the true Big Brother experience, you know? I'm happy that I had that for sure. Absolutely. So yeah, how did you end up, you did six times you tried to go and the seventh time
Starting point is 00:08:30 they took you? Well, let me think. I tried out since season 16 and I, so it's 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, over the top. But there were two years that I couldn't make the audition. So it was four times that I had auditioned, gone to the open call, whatever you want to call it. Because they don't really call it auditioning for Big Brother. They want regular people, real people.
Starting point is 00:08:50 They don't want actors, which is one of my struggles, like, throughout the process. It's kind of like they passed on me a few times. Oh, yeah, I'm sure. Yeah, but so, yeah, I can't even call it an audition, really. But the, you know, the whole trying out process. Casting process. Yeah. It was four times that I had tried out.
Starting point is 00:09:07 What do you have to do to get into Big Brother? Make a video? So much. And everyone's experience is different. Some people like. I didn't try, but I made a video. I remember that. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:09:17 You have to be on this show. I mean, hello, CBS, listen to this podcast, put her on the show. Are you kidding me? Yeah, but I think it's like, because I came from ABC, then CBS is like, nah, hard pass on the ABC. Listen. After Bachelor. No, this is before.
Starting point is 00:09:35 They got to bend the rules a little bit then. I wonder if they have my audition tape. Do you have the audition tape? You got to release the audition tape. Oh, I should. Yeah. I was cleaning files out today this morning on my computer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:47 And I ran into the J.C. and Bachelor folder. Oh, my God. It is nauseating. Like, oh, it's so bad. I'm sure that it's crazy from the videos. Oh, it's so bad. Yeah, I can imagine.
Starting point is 00:10:01 I'm sure it's very similar, the process for these reality shows. You got a lot of paperwork, a lot of videos, like. Oh, my God. Literally hundreds of pages. It's insane. Because they probably have to prove that, like, you know, do criminal record checks and background checks and make sure everyone, yeah. No joke.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Literally hundreds of pages. writing, writing, writing, answering the same questions over and over again. Do you have to do psych tests? Yep. And do you have to talk to a therapist? Yep. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:27 So same thing. Yeah. It's crazy. We need to take a 600 question psych test. Yep. Same thing for you probably. Yeah. And the questions are like, do you ever get so angry that you want to punch somebody?
Starting point is 00:10:38 And I was like, yes. I know. And then the therapist was like, so I read here that you get so angry you want to punch people. And I'm like, don't you? Wait a minute. being honest here oh my gosh i'm not saying i'm i do punch people but yeah i get angry no yeah we get angry we're human we're normal we say things it is so hard to go through that process of like being honest with yourself over 600 questions yeah all right do you guys ever buy something online
Starting point is 00:11:05 and then find out that you could have gotten it for less it's pretty much worse than when you think you look really cute but then you go to the bathroom you look in the mirror and then realize you have something in your teeth not to mention once that happens you feel like you could be overpaying every time you shop. Luckily, I have Honey, the free browser extension that saves you time and money when shopping online. Honey scans the internet for coupon codes and other discounts. Then like magic, it automatically applies the one with the biggest savings to your
Starting point is 00:11:34 car at checkout. Just shop like normal and Honey finds you savings and believe me, it feels amazing. Like when you get out of the shower and you have that warm towel to wrap yourself in, you guys all know how I feel about warm towels. Honey has been saving me money pretty much every time I shop, so I know I'm getting the best deals. Just a couple of days ago, I was running low on a few beauty products, so I was shopping online, and when I checked out, guess what, honey saved me $37.84. I was like, dang, I'm thrifty.
Starting point is 00:12:03 It's no wonder that Honey has found it's 10 million users over a billion dollars in savings. Listen, there's really no reason not to use Honey. It's free to use. It installs on your computer in just two clicks. You get Honey for free at joinhoney.com slash bind. Again, that's joinhoney.com slash bind. But anyways, you got on. So crazy.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Is Julie Chen as snacky as she is on TV? Like, she's just a snack. I wish, like, the listeners could see even my face when you bring her up because I literally melt every time someone. She's just a presence. She is a goddess. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. I'm attracted to Julie Chen.
Starting point is 00:12:43 she's like even like when you're on the show you're working with her alongside her whatever you look up to her still like every single one of us in that house were just mesmerized every time she would come on the screen she also grills you guys too you know like freaking love me too like when you come out she's like she hits it's business yeah she's like chris harrison's the same way like he has such a confident energy that when you're around them you're like damn But I feel like she's like that. Julie Chen probably loved you, though. Oh, Julie Chen,
Starting point is 00:13:15 me invests, probably loved you though. Because you're... Everyone loved Tommy. Who didn't love Tommy? Apparently, like, I didn't, I don't know this because I'm in the house. I'm not watching what you guys are, but my family was like, Julie hugged you and she didn't really hug people the way that she hugged you. I was like, what?
Starting point is 00:13:31 Oh, my gosh. Because you're very, you're an optimistic, just like, positive guy who's always happy. You brought so much good fun energy to that house. I don't know. what the house would have been without you. And you were just like, I don't know, you were just the light in the house to me, in my opinion. And I want to be friends.
Starting point is 00:13:52 That's so sweet. I want to be friends. And I want to be friends. We are friends. Yes, this is great. Okay. All right. Sign me up.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Check. Do you want me to make an audition tape? Because I'll do it. I will audition to be your friend. I will take a psych test. I will do whatever it takes. Anything. Anything to be your friend.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Now I'm getting creepy. But I think people have like just like natural. You have an aura of energy that's greater. just what your physical presence is that I think in the house this is the first time I've ever watched the show I think you were one of the only people
Starting point is 00:14:18 in the house that had that just positivity A to Z start to finish and you're extremely likable the whole time I think you're gonna win the America's favorite player I was like well Nicole was I really but I thought about Nicole later right like it wasn't from the beginning that I'm like but Tommy was consistently the best
Starting point is 00:14:34 yeah you killed it wow you killed it thank you guys that's just like I really am I'm just being myself yeah Yeah, isn't that nice? You didn't go on a few, you know, you're in theater, you're in acting, you're in singing and dancing, you're on as a performer. You were just, like, loved for who you were on that show. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:14:51 I know. I really do love that. Like, even in the theater world, I never really get hired for playing, to play a different character. People know that I have a very specific energy, a very specific personality, whatever. You know what you're going to get when you, when you hire me. is what I've been told in the theater community. And that's kind of what I wanted to do on this show, too. I just want to be myself.
Starting point is 00:15:18 I don't want to play a character. You know, I'm an actor, but I don't really know if you, it's a very tricky thing with me because I think I'm more of, I'm just being myself. I bring myself to these roles. But that's probably why you're so good. Thanks. So now I got to challenge. Stop complimenting me, Caitlin. But now I got to challenge all that, right?
Starting point is 00:15:39 Because you are all that. But then you walk into the house and you see 16 individuals and one of them is someone that dated someone in your family. Yeah. So now you have to play a character. Like, what are you thinking when that? Because you have no idea, right? You have no idea that she's going to be.
Starting point is 00:15:53 I have no idea. I mean, that had to be a shell shock. And how do you adapt? And what was your strategy there? Honestly, I feel like that was my whole game. Yeah. Balancing my relationship with Christy. I love her so much.
Starting point is 00:16:05 So it wasn't, there was no negativity between you two from a break. makeup so you or if there was you could get past it for yeah we can get past together it was play the game between us but my family is everything to me so right you know I'm on this show and the whole time I'm thinking about she dated my aunt and my aunt my my aunts are like second mothers to me yeah my my my family's everything to me yeah and I am just thinking about my aunt the whole time I'm in that house and it's it was so rough to think about how is this being perceived on the outside is my family okay that's real like but yet i'm here to play a game and christie and i are great i love christie so much and i was never
Starting point is 00:16:51 going to turn my back on her in that house right but we also played very different games yes and it was the toughest part of my game was navigating my relationship with her or balancing my relationship with her while navigating my relationship with the other house guests just because i love somebody and trust somebody doesn't mean that she does And that was what the tough parts were in the house. Right, right. Man, it was tough. I mean, and what a wild thing to come out of that and then be like, hey, because your aunt probably didn't know that she was going to be on, right?
Starting point is 00:17:22 Or did you? We knew that we were both auditioning, but we didn't. We have to stop speaking after at a certain point. So once we hit semifinals is what it's called, we stopped speaking. Okay. And, you know, I didn't know. I had no idea. But I'm sure your family ended up being so proud of you because you guys did so well.
Starting point is 00:17:42 You know, like, it's not like you weren't malicious. You weren't using each other. You were generally like, like basically you were family for a little while. She's kind of part of the family. Whatever happened happened. But now you two can come together and the end goal is, and at the end of the day, it's a game. Yep. So the end goal is to get to that end.
Starting point is 00:18:00 So you, everybody knows in the big brother game, you do whatever you have to do to get to the end. Yep. And if you can have someone to. keep you sane to go along with you to you know like that they can I'm sure your family could understand that yeah they they could I got out and they were all really supportive yeah um but yeah it was it was a rough summer for my aunt who of course I can imagine it was really rough that's got to be really and I I said to her like you are my number one and I will spend the rest of my life apologizing and making it up to you if I caused you even an ounce of pain right
Starting point is 00:18:36 And it did. It did cause her that. And I feel terrible, but I couldn't control the situation I was in. It was what it was. That's kind of makes me angry at like production in that way because I'm like, why are you doing that to people? But as a bystander, I think given the situation, you handle it so well because there was no at all dirty laundry exposed about the relationship. Until we just said, had this conversation, I didn't know that there was any type of like grief between your family. I didn't know it was your aunt.
Starting point is 00:19:04 I didn't know any of that. So kudos to you guys for just saying, like, let's put the past behind us and just protect our family if you protect me in this house. Yeah. So that's wildly impressive. That is. But I can't imagine, like, you know, even in our world, we're on the show where everybody dates each other and then you have to go watch them date other people. Like, and you barely, it's not like you have this eight-year relationship, right? Was it eight years they were together or something?
Starting point is 00:19:30 Seven years, yeah. So I can't imagine how challenging that would be for me to be rooting for somebody in my, family and be watching my ex at the same time she didn't watch she couldn't watch yeah okay so that makes sense yeah yeah yeah i get it yeah oh my gosh yes i could i i i truly i couldn't imagine yeah the first thing i thought was oh my gosh when when i saw christie come in it's funny because in the house we liked like down the line like when we were into the whole entire you know day 45 whatever it was day 52 we like to talk about our first impressions of each other day one what we thought and I
Starting point is 00:20:07 would never have anything to contribute to that conversation because once Christy walked in the door I completely blacked out I don't remember anything from the first day nothing at all just blacked out that's it yeah and what's crazy so you went from day one and what day was it
Starting point is 00:20:24 that you released that information it was day 70 something yeah let me think so I was evicted you're amazing big numbers guy this is the first time I've watched this show the way that's impressive this is my 20 first season watching I think it was day 81 actually
Starting point is 00:20:40 that's it's 81 days no one knows and their alliance the whole time low clearly has not watched the show he's like sitting there yeah yeah but I want to now but think about the 81 days 16 strangers and no one knows that they've known each other forever yeah that's how crazy is that
Starting point is 00:20:54 she was like an aunt to you too no she's okay so Christy is my age she's 29 but she dated my aunt and my aunt's you know it was yeah anyway well she said on the show She said on the show.
Starting point is 00:21:07 My aunt's 50 years old. So it was a big thing for the family at first, but the family was very acceptable. But it was seven years. It's like obviously something serious. It was a divorce really. Like, you know, it was a big deal. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:21 That's so hard. You know, we spent, I spent so much time with Christy. She was like, you know. And so now moving forward, you guys are clearly going to be close. And that's got to be challenging in itself. We'll figure that out. Yeah. I got to get home and, no, no, I, but you're 100% right.
Starting point is 00:21:39 Like, I got to, I got to figure it out. Now that we're out of the house, the game is over. Sorry, Chris. I'm sorry, Chris, we're done. You heard it here first. That's how I roll. Oh, my gosh. I'm just cut throat.
Starting point is 00:21:58 No, that's amazing. Sorry. No, no. I'm obsessed. It's so upset. It's so funny, because I love it. Because I love Lowe's inputs, no matter if you're like, you know what's going on in the conversation or you don't. Your input is just so important to me.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Life coach by Lowe. Life coach by Lowe. Lowe needs to start trending on Twitter. Give us the low down because Lowe needs to have a podcast. I love that. Okay. It starts now. Yes, we need to get it trending.
Starting point is 00:22:27 It starts a campaign. Anyways. Thank you, Queen. Yeah, you're welcome. King. I've said it before. You know I have, and I'll say it again, we need to be more open about periods. 50% of the world's population has a period, people, okay?
Starting point is 00:22:43 So how come we're not super comfortable talking about them? It's time to talk about periods, and specifically, it's time to talk about thinks. So what is things? Thinks is period-proof underwear that absorbs your flow up to four tampons worth, and here's how they work. Your period goes in, no leaks come out, you stay fresh, dry, comfortable throughout your entire cycle. You can use Thanks as a backup or as a replacement to tampons, pads, cups, anything else you're using today. They look and feel just like everyday normal pairs
Starting point is 00:23:14 of underwear. They're washable, reusable. You can feel good about switching to a more sustainable period too. Things is on a mission to empower everybody with innovative solutions and social change. This is the part I love. Every purchase gives back to their Give Rise program where they're fighting for a better access to purity education, menstrual equity, and more. I was, I will say, skeptical about period-proof underwear because I just didn't think they'd be able to hold up or make me feel normal, but I can definitely say that they do both. I can feel confident that I won't have any leaks during that time of the month, and I feel like I am just going about my day in a normal pair of undies.
Starting point is 00:23:52 So to learn more about things underwear that absorbs your period, visit period better.com and use our special code vine to get $10 off your first pair. Starting point is 00:24:18 My wine label, yeah. You made a wine label? That's amazing. Oh, my gosh. I love it. I did. I did, yeah. It is quite good.
Starting point is 00:24:27 Thank you. Oh, my gosh. We'll drink up. We'll send you home. Yeah, yeah, of course. I'm going to send you. I can't believe that. Wow.
Starting point is 00:24:35 And do you live in L.A.? I might be moving to L.A. I live in New York. Yeah, because I was going to say, do you have plans of, like, wanting to go back to Broadway and, like, what, now, that's very different gear switch there. I know. I know, I don't know what I'm doing. I didn't, listen. It's okay not to know.
Starting point is 00:24:51 It's okay. Nothing. Yeah. Before you go into the house, all you're thinking about is the house. The game, the game, the game. Yeah. But when you get out, there's a whole new world. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:01 And I'm, I didn't expect that and I'm not used to it. So I'm just like, I don't know what I'm doing. But all the previous house guests are like, you got to move out here. That's what you do. Yeah. I'm like, okay. Because there's so many opportunity for you right now to be in L.A. And do things that you could do.
Starting point is 00:25:17 And also from your previous resume and what you've done for yourself in your whole life, you can probably go back to New York, you know, and continue to do that. Just take this year to figure it out. Right. Yeah. that's my favorite thing is after you come off a show you're chewed up you spat out you don't know how to deal with this world you take a year to figure it out don't put pressure on yourself don't pigeonhole yourself as if this is who I'm going to be and figure it out take a year to just like get to know you yeah you probably learned a lot about yourself on the show yeah that's for sure and take a year in in LA to just be Tommy from Big Brother and go do all the shit you got to get so I think one of the most practical smartest individuals I ever met is my older brother a thousand times smarter than me and so he's got to kind of see this world with kately and i and the bachelor but he runs a company that does all broadway in marketing
Starting point is 00:26:06 advertising for every show oh my gosh like Hamilton they created the logo i need to know this guy so i think it would be he would offer some great advice as far as like capitalizing monetizing but also like working in the all the other stuff that you've gone on yeah and you should he's a great guy and he's awesome and he's in so easy to talk to you too yeah so we'll we'll definitely connect you guys because I think you could offer a lot of insight, especially after what he's seen from you and I in like the last year, et cetera. Yeah. He's, he's a, he actually helped me a lot with the wine label, too, with certain things. He's just a marketing genius. Yeah. And, and we should definitely connect you to because, yeah, Steve and Tarduk. You'd love him. Hi, Steve. Nice to meet you.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Hi, Steve. I had a question. Are you single? Yeah. I mean, I'm sure he's got a lot. Oh, yeah. He's the guy. He's like the gay mayor in New York. York we got to bring low too he's got them all I mean those two him and his husband have been together for how long for seven or eight years I think oh they've been married for four years yes I think they've been
Starting point is 00:27:10 together for 10 they might be big oh okay it's a long time that is so funny that you know the information sorry calling you out that's hysterical I could be wrong I could be wrong and so you watched obviously Big Brother in the past because you were trying to get
Starting point is 00:27:26 and you're probably watching and being like trying to figure out. So did you take people's strategies or were you like, I've got my own. I'm going to go in and be Tommy. Well, I do think, okay, so I think that there's no right way to play this game. I think that you have to, funny enough, I did the most learning about myself before I went into the house because you have to really know who you are, what your strengths are. Every single person is unique and would need to play a different game. I can't play the game that Jackson played
Starting point is 00:27:57 I would never I wouldn't make it I had to play the best game for Tommy so you have to really know yourself going into that house so I did so much soul searching literally just like writing notepads about who I am what my strengths are what my weaknesses are and I forgot what the original question was
Starting point is 00:28:17 but uh oh um just like watching people's um strategies back and strategies and going into it and so no you're on the right no yeah but um thanks you know it 10 out of 10 right now you got it um but i did love casey's game last year i thought that she was amazing i loved how you know it was for me it was more about the social game than it was winning comps yeah um but i got to win some comps which was so cool yeah how good is that feeling oh my you know like what was the one that you won oh the car
Starting point is 00:28:48 when the car oh yeah was that a boat the boat boat when you were to say yes yeah i was so excited And I started freaking out when, like, because you could tell the last one and it registered to you that you had won. And you got so emotional. And I was like, I know. And apparently I needed to win that week. People were after me and I didn't know at the time. But my family was like, you needed to win that week. So are you watching it back?
Starting point is 00:29:12 I watched the first two episodes. I haven't seen anything else yet. Oh my gosh. How do you stop it too? Is it too tough? It was 2 a.m. That's the only reason why I stopped. But I wanted to keep going.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Yeah. You have to. I was living with, I got a place. with Jack, Christy and Kat, so the four of us were watching last night. Shut up.
Starting point is 00:29:30 You guys all live together? We just got an Airbnb. Okay. Christy went home this morning. Okay. But me and Jack are probably going to be moving in together.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Okay, cool. Awesome. So cool. Yeah. And then I think Christy and sis are going to move in together too.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Oh, great. Amazing. I know. It's amazing. Keep it in the fam. I love it. I love them so much. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:29:47 you got to. It's so crazy. We were talking about that with Holly and Mickey about just how like you just do really become family. Oh my God, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:55 relate to what you've been through nobody will ever understand unless they go on the show and even then it's a different experience for everybody like you you just really cling on to those people that you've gone through something so crazy with i i miss them so much i was so happy to see yeah yeah i know i just now you like i saw them like you know when we were walking in between meetings or whatever yeah and oh my gosh uh i missed them after 24 hours yeah that's it i really miss them even holly was saying she goes to the bathroom and she like runs back to Mickey because she's like I miss you I know I know see and I credit you because so Mickey I only saw him on TV and me him in person I really enjoyed his company yeah and Holley's but how are you not a little like disgruntle of what Mickey did because that could have that really probably cost you half a million bucks a hundred and what he did essentially so he made up a lie of what Tommy
Starting point is 00:30:52 said when Tommy didn't say it yeah and him convincing the rest of the house on this lie essentially got the house to vote Tommy out and otherwise Tommy would have gone through and in my opinion Tommy would have won and that's 500 grand I cried when you cried I couldn't believe she was crying I saw her tears
Starting point is 00:31:08 can I get a little top by a little appetizer of what the lie was yeah so when you do you know the premise of the show or no okay cool so I was it was a the week that it was we were fighting for fifth place we you know it keeps going
Starting point is 00:31:25 on. And I was on the block next to Holly, who was just in here. And Jackson was H-O-H. If you're H-O-H, you can't vote. And Holly can't vote because she's on the block. And they're dating. And they're dating. They're a couple. And Jackson is an amazing competitor. He's insane. It's insane. He won the most competitions out of any big brother player in a single season ever. Yeah. That alone is legendary. but then on top of that he also had a sick social game the fact that he like honestly the lie that he created about me is actually what ultimately made me vote for him I thought that it showed that he was the full package and I respect this game so much that I was like he he got me evicted and that
Starting point is 00:32:13 was a sick game move so I'm gonna vote for him no matter what I actually asked her manipulator we were we were shocked when you voted for him but at the end of the day you always talked about how like gameplay it's about gameplay and nothing's personal And what he did, he just did what he had to do to get himself further. And that's what you do in the house. I would have got him out if he would have. If he would have loved, though, or is he an amorosa vibe? He's polarizing.
Starting point is 00:32:37 Some people hate him. Yeah, he's polarizing for sure. Definitely polarizing. Listen, being in that house is so tough. There's so many things. Like, it brings out, I've done things that I'm not proud of in that house. And I'm hearing about him now. And it is what it is.
Starting point is 00:32:51 You know, all I could do is apologize and move forward. You get hate on? Oh, absolutely. What? Yeah, I know. I can't even imagine that. Thank you. I know.
Starting point is 00:33:01 I'm probably you have anybody today. I just can't, because if I'm thinking of anyone on the show, I'm like, I just can't imagine you getting trolled at all. But let me bring that back real quick. So they're 16 people, 15 people, and then the top two are in the finals, and then they rely on a jury of what, 10? Yep. The 10 people have to vote who should win. And so Mickey made up this crazy lie about Tommy, and then Tommy got voted off as a result, but Tommy saying that he still had so much respect for Mickey's game, he voted
Starting point is 00:33:26 Mickey to win. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's where we were surprised. We were like, he voted for the guy. I would have never. That's what, that's my point. That's the whole guy. I was like, I would be so What's his name again? Mickey. No respect for him. You're dead to me. My God. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Oh, but to continue about what the lie was. Yeah, yeah. So he, uh... I know, I know. It's so juicy. So I told Cliff and Nicole. Okay, so Jackson's HOH, Holly's on the block, they can't vote. There are two other people left in the house, Cliff and Nicole. Their vote is the deciding, they're going to decide who stays in the house and who goes. My whole pitch to Cliff and Nicole was, if you vote to keep me, the three of us can band together and go after Jackson.
Starting point is 00:34:15 That means Holly will be gone. She's an amazing competitor also. I think that her and I actually played very similar games but Jackson needs to be taken out or he'll win this game so if you choose me then the three of us can go after
Starting point is 00:34:31 one person it makes so much sense not only that I know not only that but I will throw the H-O-H competition so that means that one of the two of you are guaranteed to go to the final three and they were all gung-ho
Starting point is 00:34:47 about the deal Yeah, it's great. But the problem was they had a final four deal with Jackson and Holly. And Cliff had voiced to me, he said, honestly, we didn't even expect to get to this point. We thought someone would have taken him out earlier. But no one got the opportunity because they're that strong of competitors. So ultimately, Cliff and Nicole were, you know, Jackson made up a big fat lie that I was playing both sides. I was telling Cliff and Nicole that I would work with them and be a three, verse one.
Starting point is 00:35:18 but I was telling Jackson that I wanted to work with him and that it was actually a two verse two if I had stayed. And they, Nicole didn't believe him, but Cliff, Cliff was on the fence, but Cliff had a final two with Jackson that he thought would go through, which I can't believe he thought. I know, like even Cliff after he got out, it was like, what? I don't know. He's amazing, though, too, Cliff.
Starting point is 00:35:44 I love him. What a jam that guy is. I know. Yeah, you know, it was a crazy week and it ended in, you know, honestly, that week in the house, I knew that I was the fifth person in a house with a final four the whole week. I cried myself to sleep every single night and I was, I felt very alone, but I did the most growing that week. I felt like I, I'm proud of the way that I played that week. I'm proud of my pitch that I came up with.
Starting point is 00:36:11 But by the end of the week, I had nothing left. I couldn't like it came to a certain point when we were fighting fighting fighting two minutes before the eviction is when they decided to change they changed their minds and decided to vote me out instead of Holly literally Julie said all right the show is started the show was already on air it was a half hour into the episode because it's a live eviction so then we're literally a half hour into the episode Julie says all right guys it's time to take your seats we sit down and I see I see the truth I see it happen And Cliff and Nicole go up to Jackson first, then they go up to Holly.
Starting point is 00:36:48 And I'm sitting there, and I'm like, they just switch the votes again. Those muddha effers, they put the votes. And I'm going home, R and I. And I didn't know for sure, but, you know, it was emotional. You can only imagine. It was insane. Oh, it killed me. He had one tear coming down his face, and I was just like, no.
Starting point is 00:37:05 But it was so Jackson, who's like an aggressive, like, out, like, great. It seems great guy. We just talked to him for an hour and a half. But he's in his face saying, you're lying. And Tommy's like, you know, 4V1, like crying. I'm not lying like you're making this up. It was the most heart-wrenching scene I've seen on TV in a while. It was insane. It was insane.
Starting point is 00:37:24 But I said to, we just podcast with him, I said, I go, Mickey, that was a $550,000 lot. Yeah. I know. Oh, my God. I just met him. Yeah, that was him. I just met that snake. Yes.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Jackson, you're a snake. What a fucking. A really good one. Please enter a little snake noise. But a really good thing. Oh my God. No, it's amazing. I love this game so much.
Starting point is 00:37:54 I fell in love the show. I'm a huge big brother guy now. I'm on board. It's the best show in the world. I don't know how it's not the number one show in America. I don't. I'm obsessed with it. So Batchelie, all my best buddies are on Batchezer in Paradise this summer.
Starting point is 00:38:08 I have to watch it and support them and stuff. I was on shows with them. I couldn't watch a show because I was so. best in it, Big Brother. I was so into it. Honestly, I've been into this show since, I don't, like, 2003? When was the
Starting point is 00:38:24 first one? Oh, yeah, I don't know when the first one was. That sounds right, though. I was obsessed with her. I used to try and stalk her on. I'm trying to find her on. MSN messenger. Oh, my God, MSN. I'll pull her up. And I remember it while you're looking that up.
Starting point is 00:38:38 Was she season one? I think so. So Caitlin's convinced me to what. We just eat dinner. Calan's convinced me to watch so I'm like I'm not I don't want real idea I know I know we start watching it and it's the cheesiest noise in the world this guy's like welcome to Big Brother and I was like I can't and I walked off the couch I'm like I'm not doing it and I got suckered in hard it's good this is the first season you watch first season I've ever watched
Starting point is 00:39:04 season though yeah that's that's why because I've watched her season but I literally tried to find her on MSM messenger because that's how the internet worked back in that yeah I know that's crazy I did you get to meet the guy that does the voices we did oh he's amazing he is I've googled what he looks like and I'm like what yeah he's just so funny and what did he say the one episode he was like yep get ready for it I'm gonna say it legendary or something like he was funny this season I haven't seen I'm so excited oh my god please I wish I could just like live with you guys and watch all the episodes with you and it's so scary and so much more here's the thing like I pride myself on being a fan of the show. One of the things I'm getting ripped apart for right now, actually, I never watched the live feeds. Do you watch the live feeds or not? I was a live feed nerd once in my life.
Starting point is 00:39:56 I would wake up and have coffee with Paul. Yes. I was like super intuitive. I know, I know. The only time I watched live feeds this one time was when I saw Mickey Popping Holly's zits on her back. And I was done. That would happen often. And I was done.
Starting point is 00:40:12 I was like, you know, I'm not going to watch, I'm not going to watch Live Feeds this time. No, yeah, I get it. I caught Caitlin falling asleep to White Live Feed, so she's telling her what the hell. Is that that time? Was it that one? No, it was that one. That's so cute.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Okay, so what are you in heat for? But I didn't watch the Live Feeds. You were part of a conversation. What do you mean? Is that what you're saying? Like, what are people mean? Oh, well, that's another thing. I'll get at that too.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Sure. I, you know, I get it. I do. But one of the things that is people, like, you can't call yourself a fan if you don't watch the live feeds. Oh. And apparently that's it. I believe it, honestly.
Starting point is 00:40:48 My family, they're saying the same thing to me because they watch the live feeds because I was on the show. So they're like, no, honestly, Thomas, you don't see half the things that we see on the show. It's insane. The live feeds are amazing. And so now I can't wait to watch them next year. I'm so excited. Yeah, especially like given the position you've been in and to watch, to watch live
Starting point is 00:41:09 feeds next year for you, you're going to be like, first. of all take a Xanax or something because I feel like that's going to give like some post-traumatic stress there like it took me a long time to be able to watch The Bachelorette again just because knowing everything you know and knowing that editing is a thing and knowing you know that who would not go on a show where you're being watched 24-7 and not make one mistake I know I know I know you know so maybe I missed it but you said you're getting a lot of pushback or criticism and you've mentioned four live feeds but what was it that's why I'm still lost to yeah so what Well, no, just the fact that I called myself a fan, that I call myself a fan, that I call myself a fan, but I don't let's the right.
Starting point is 00:41:50 Oh, Tommy. No, but listen, there's other stuff. Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, Tommy. Yeah, but if people call me a piece of shit, I'm here. Oh, my God. I'll take it. I mean, I mean, you're on, you're obviously on Twitter and Instagram. You must get, like, 90% love.
Starting point is 00:42:05 No, it's, it's mostly love. Yeah. And I'm so grateful. And it's so overwhelming. Like, like I said, like, I've, like I said, like, I, really i didn't go into this house to for the you don't think about what's going to happen after you leave the house you think about the game you think about that experience that summer but when you get out it's a whole new world honestly it's it's really hard it's really hard to come
Starting point is 00:42:28 out because you're not i mean you you're in theater and you're performing and stuff but you might get like what a broadway critics saying something but that's to be expected right When you have the whole world watching your every move 24, 7, and you're being criticized for just being yourself, and then you're, you have so much fun, you don't have any, you know, knowledge of what's going on in the outside world? And then you come out and you're like, what, people don't like me for this? And I just was trying to do this. And it's a whole other new ballgame to try and navigate after the show than during the show. Like, almost harder, would you say? Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:43:06 A thousand percent. Yeah. Because now you're dealing with stuff that you were ignorant to, not, but like oblivious. That's perfect. Yeah. What I noticed was after the show, my anxiety had never been as high as it was ever because you're under this microscope that you've never been under and the smallest things you do, you don't realize how it like affects or criticizes or offends people and you're just saying
Starting point is 00:43:27 things that typically, I don't know, you're just being yourself. So it's a lot. But with, you know, with a lot of, I guess, like respect and following comes a responsibility, right? So it's just Absolutely It's overwhelming I love that It's 100% true
Starting point is 00:43:42 But yeah One of the other things That I'm getting pushed back for Is being in the Grateful Alliance And one of the Yeah And one of the nicknames People actually are calling it hateful
Starting point is 00:43:54 Instead of grateful Which is so Which is kind of funny actually I can respect a good pun That's really clever I'm like I started I started it If you want to know how to deal with trolls
Starting point is 00:44:06 Let's take a lesson out of Caitlin's book. I need a lesson of two. She crushes troll. I love it. My next bottle of wine is called Patty Juice for Patty the troll. Oh my gosh. Patty juice. Yeah, she hates Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:44:21 Yeah, but the thing is, you have to know that she hates me so much that she's like made up eight different accounts for the last three years. Patty, love you, praying for you, honey. Come on the podcast. Let's talk about it. All right. Starting point is 00:46:29 seen clips of what went on in uh the room that day when we kept nicole out of the room and Oh right Yeah that's like That's like a big thing That's being brought up And I totally understand it Yeah
Starting point is 00:46:41 The one thing I would Like you know Here's the thing When you're on the show You are not see America sees Has all the information Yeah
Starting point is 00:46:49 We don't have the information Yeah We thought that Nicole was the snake And that we caught her And we didn't allow her To split us up Yeah And we used it as an opportunity
Starting point is 00:47:01 To ban us together Yeah We were on the verge of splitting up when that happened. We thought that our grateful alliance wasn't going to work out. And then we found a common denominator or so we thought. Yeah. And it was her.
Starting point is 00:47:15 Yeah. So we were, you know, okay with keeping her out of the room. Yeah. Because we thought that she was doing something. And then of course it looks like, oh, we're, you know, bullying and then that's a time. Well, Nicole, she didn't do what we thought she did. So what does Nicole think about that all now that you've been able to tell her? I love Nicole.
Starting point is 00:47:35 I literally couldn't speak more highly of her. I'm obsessed with her. I love her. Nicole and I, like, in the end, when it was, you know, the last week, my last week in the house, and even like a few weeks prior to that, here's the thing, Nicole and Nick are really close. And me and Nick were really close, yes. Were they through the game? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:54 I don't know if that was shown. Again, I didn't watch. But Nick and Nicole are really close friends. And me and Nick were really close in the house. but once Nick left me and Nicole got even closer yeah I love Nicole I'm obsessed with her she's an amazing person yeah she's extraordinary she is she's exceptional she's everything we really um you and Nicole were probably our two favorites I mean I liked I liked everybody to be honest this was like one season where I was like wow I actually don't hate anybody yeah I actually
Starting point is 00:48:26 really enjoyed watching all of you guys but um you and Nicole because she's just such a sweet angel like I feel like she's a little angel who just has a heart of gold who just like really grew in that whole process to believe in herself and she proved herself like oh yeah over and over just just to herself yeah and that was like her journey and it was like that was bigger than a half a million dollars in my opinion and like completely agree yeah oh I just love her I know she that's awesome like you know we get out and we see the response that that that America has to the season and the positive response that America has for her she deserves every bit of that because she is that and more she is she is that person she's amazing I love
Starting point is 00:49:13 her she won America's favorite playoff yes so all of America votes money do they get for that 25,000 yeah 25 grand that's nice yeah yeah yeah yeah not bad it can really it can really get you out of a couple jams yeah oh my gosh yeah so Nicole and I were close and especially in the end though like but um but yeah i i i i did apologize to her and i'll apologize over and over again and she of course she she forgave me and everybody she she's amazing yeah and also when you it's so nice this is why i love having a podcast too is being able to give other people a voice for like what viewers don't see because a lot of people when i do big brother podcasts um listeners that i don't usually get will tune in to hear big brother people so i always love that i can give you guys
Starting point is 00:50:00 an opportunity to speak and be like, look, they didn't show this, but here's what really happened. And God, I would never want her to feel that way. Right. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, uh, we didn't know, we don't know. We thought that it was her. Right. And then I think, because you don't know in that world. We don't know in the world.
Starting point is 00:50:17 We don't have all the information. Right. So, listen, I, I, I, I haven't seen the clips. I, I, I saw a few clips, but I haven't really watched it. But I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, again, like, you mentioned before, I'm ready to take responsibility like I did do those things and I feel terrible about it and I'm sorry for it I mean and it's you know it is what I all I could do is move forward you're the sweetest but I just don't I just I've seen a couple of the clips and to me I just it makes so much sense you're in
Starting point is 00:50:46 that house you think somebody is targeting you you think something else nobody really knows the truth because you're all kind of and maybe lying lying to each other yeah so you think oh is Nicole part of the problem keep her out then it turns into America being like they're bullies and it's it's just nice that you can have an opportunity to speak on it and be like no this is what I was feeling and this is what I thought and we love Nicole dearly and she's like one of my favorite people great things change in that house every hour it's insane it's like it's it's on it's life on steroids I don't know it's just like it's all sped up really quickly how do you transition back into the real world from that well I'm figuring it out I honestly don't know I have I How long have you been out? One week today. Oh, shit. I know.
Starting point is 00:51:33 It's insane. We just got out. And we went right to Vegas after. I saw that. Oh, my gosh. I've never been to Vegas before. Oh, jeez. And not only.
Starting point is 00:51:43 Did you love it? Yeah, I did. It was, I think so. No. From what I remember. I'm so confused still about Vegas. It was amazing. I just love being part of Big Brother family.
Starting point is 00:51:57 It's crazy because, like, there's so many previous house guests. that like just welcome you with open arms afterwards and you're like oh my gosh i didn't even like i feel like i know you because i watched you on the show right but we're just meeting for the first time and we're acting with with best friends it's insane welcome to the club i totally get that though yeah it's amazing we'll be back with more off the vine with kately bristow off the vine with kately bristow and living in the house and you know one bathroom i'm I'm sure you've got a confession for me. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:52:41 I feel so, it's so hard for me to come up with a confession because I really am so open and honest and not embarrassed about things. That's my problem too. I've been here about this confession for like a few days and I'm like, I don't know. I literally texted my friends. I'm like, I have to come up with a confession. What do I say? And Christy, she was like, talk about how you freaking ruin the kitchen over and over and over again
Starting point is 00:53:05 because the way you cook is, it's so horrible. I'm like, really? That's what we're talking about. I'm messy. I'm messy in the kitchen for sure. That's your confession. We can have it in the kitchen, apparently. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:16 That's all that she can come up with. And I can't come up with anything. You know what? That's totally okay. Low always brings the heat. No. I can't. You can't think of one?
Starting point is 00:53:25 No, I can. I've got a lot of shit that I've done. But here's the thing. think that one is like oh he's messy in the kitchen it's like it's not a good confession at all can i ask some questions about the house that like did did people fart in front of each other did someone have like like toots that just ruined the hot oh my god like do they're the snorer that like i hope that's what jackson talked about because that should be his confession no he didn't say that well i'm gonna i'm gonna confess for jackson that's what i'm gonna do
Starting point is 00:53:55 No, Jackson's, you know, Jackson had some really stinky slop farts. Yeah. That was rough for all of us. Oh, my God, I can't deal with it. Slop was, okay, oh, I have a confession. But he doesn't know what the slop fart is, though. He doesn't get that. Okay, so slop, let's talk about slap.
Starting point is 00:54:11 Yeah. Slop is, there's something called being a have-nought. When you're a have-nought in the house, that means you have to take cold showers. Okay. You sleep on a shitty bed. Sleep on a really shitty bed. And you have to eat this oatmeal. with protein powder that has zero taste and you can only eat that the whole entire week that is
Starting point is 00:54:31 torture wow that's it showers slop and shitty beds i would lose my fucking mind it was torture yeah torture i like listen when you watch the show they make it like the editing it's like oh you're have not for the week la la la so funny and bubble gum no it's it's truly hell these these punishments too was so torturous i had a few punishments anyway the slop was so bad that I actually started shitting blood at the end. Literally.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Are you okay? Yeah, now I'm okay. I'm okay, but at the end of the week, I was literally ripped my insides out. It was like I was shitting blood. And I was not the only one. That is a confession right there.
Starting point is 00:55:17 There were multiple people shitting blood. Oh, my God. First of all, Big Brother, maybe let's take away the have-nots. Because we don't see the competitions anymore. Can you put like hot sauce or peanut butter or something on it? Yeah, you can use condiments.
Starting point is 00:55:32 Like what we did was we tried everything to make the slop edible. Yeah. We, you know, would... A week. A week. We would try and like take the slop, whatever it is, it's oatmeal and protein powder and a bunch of vitamins. We would put seasoning in it. Then we would mush it together with water and fry it.
Starting point is 00:55:50 And we called them slop nuggets. And that's what ripped the insides out. because it's just deep fried slop the slop nuggets gave you the sloppy nuggets and this is a good yes oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:56:03 I love that was genius I did it I did it I did it standing up so what this is my first season
Starting point is 00:56:16 watching so this I don't know but how do you become a have not and what makes you actually have to eat the slop for you yeah so it's different
Starting point is 00:56:23 sometimes there are competitions for it and whoever loses the competition the four people that lose it are usually the have-nots. This season we didn't do that. They just had the H-O-H choose who the have-nots were. Oh, I missed that. Oh, yeah, because they don't really highlight that
Starting point is 00:56:38 on the shows anymore. It used to be big competitions. Yeah. So that's got to be a slap in your face, right? So the H-O-H says like, oh, you're a have-nots. But some people volunteer. Yes. Some people volunteer. I was one of them, and that's because I was part of the six people that voted out Cliff and then he came right back for Camp Comeback.
Starting point is 00:56:55 So, and then one H-O-H. So he was H-O-H. I was like, I voted you out. Just pick me. I'll be on slop. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll take the blood off your hands. Please.
Starting point is 00:57:03 Give me all the slops. Give me slap. Don't put me up. Yeah. Okay, that makes sense. Low, give us your confession. Oh, shit. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Is that a Kanye West jacket? It is an Alpha Industries jacket. Okay, yeah. Go on. But, okay, well, something quick that I've done. He always has the best one. I will say this, and I'm sure everyone's done it. I've said to someone that I had lost a family member,
Starting point is 00:57:30 and that's why I couldn't go somewhere. I said my uncle died. He's not dead. Do you have an uncle? No, I have an uncle. He's still kicking. Is he well? Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:57:41 He's looking at me. He just had a guy lie about him, and he lost a half a million bucks. I vote for you. That's great. That's right. Thank you. You should go on the big brother house. Who's the real snake?
Starting point is 00:57:56 Oh, my God. Jackson is sick. Yeah. I wanted to get out of something and I couldn't think of, and I just, on the spot, I was like, my uncle's dead. And then what was the response, though? What do they got to be like, I'm so sorry, they buy you flowers. It was. It was really nice.
Starting point is 00:58:12 And the flowers were great. I felt so bad. But then I was like, you know what? You just, it's a sort of. survival mode, you know, I just have to think of something. You got flowers. Yeah, but now I'm always like, if my uncle really dies. Yeah, that's on you.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Yeah, it's on me. That's on you. This is five years ago. And he's still strong. He's so strong. That's great. So I actually, this brings it back to a big brother of that confession is I remember, remember when Christy said, I swear on my sister and she was lying.
Starting point is 00:58:42 Does she have a sister? Yes, she does. Oh, so she was just, so she did the same thing. Oh, I thought she made it up. I thought she didn't have a sister. Yeah, I thought she didn't have a sister. No, she has a sister, yeah. I swear on my dead sister.
Starting point is 00:58:55 Like that is heavy. Somebody's done that in the Big Brother House before. That was one thing that happened. That was part of the whole Nicole blow up is that Nicole's, it was a misunderstanding, of course. Now we know Nicole was the most innocent angel out of anyone. But at the time there was a misunderstanding. Christy, okay, Nicole said to Bella, I swear on my grandma's life. and Christy said
Starting point is 00:59:23 honey her grandmother passed so that's why she's saying that but it was a misunderstanding she just said she said something else but it was about her grandmother but it was pretty nuts
Starting point is 00:59:36 and that was part of the whole thing we were like Nicole is the snake this is nuts all a misunderstanding we found out but that was part of it too so we thought that that happened in the house for sure
Starting point is 00:59:48 do you miss being in the house yes I want to go back in right now I feel I really miss it. It's insane. Literally as soon as I finished, I was like, put me back in, please. Because it becomes a comfort, you know, like you don't have to answer to anybody. You know what you're going to do each day. Like, even though there's a lot of crap going on in between everybody, it's like this bubble that you get into that it's all you know for a while.
Starting point is 01:00:09 That you don't have to deal with the outside world. You don't have to deal with news, politics, anything else. Nothing. Just being, you know, in the house. I get that. I get that. Wow. And I love the show.
Starting point is 01:00:20 Like I love it so much I love competing Oh here's what I was going to say earlier They do all-star games Yeah Okay so you're obviously Going to come back for Big Brother Oh my God you say obviously
Starting point is 01:00:30 I hope so I would be so lucky Stupid to know I think people on amazing race Yeah Tommy needs to go on a race Oh yeah I want to start that campaign day Right me and Christy want to do it
Starting point is 01:00:42 Oh yeah you guys would be great You need to go I mean it would be so great to be on a show And competing and not have to keep a secret Totally Like to just get to be ourselves, to be vocal. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:53 Because listen, there was a lot of, there was a lot of Christy, Christy, please. Yeah, yeah. You know, a lot of that in the house. But I'm not like that with her in real life. So if you would have put us on the amazing race, you would get a whole different time. Okay, well, then I want amazing race and then I want Big Brother All-Star game. Oh, my gosh, who would be ideal to be in the All-Star team? Dan.
Starting point is 01:01:13 Daveon. I love Davon so much. Oh, my gosh. She's amazing. She was such a feisty. So. feisty. I love her.
Starting point is 01:01:21 It's funny because I always said, I know you guys have to go. I'll be quick. No, we're actually okay. We're okay. Okay, cool. But I, you know, in my interviews and stuff, I respond to women who are very intuitive. I loved from last season, Caitlin. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:36 I loved Dave on. I loved Jess Graff. Like, these are strong, powerful women who always know what's going on in the house. Yeah. And that's who I gravitated towards in this house. I probably would have been with Christy regardless if I knew her or not. Right. Because I love her so much.
Starting point is 01:01:52 She is. She's a strong ass. Every time I watch, I was like, she knows what she's going. Taco Tuesday? Yeah. That was amazing. Oh, my gosh. Holy Toledo.
Starting point is 01:02:02 Wait, what was? Oh, Taco Tuesday. Oh, when she got Nick after her. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Holy shit. Amazing. It was amazing. Amazing.
Starting point is 01:02:10 She was great. Okay, we're going to play one quick game and then we'll wrap her up. Would you rather play the last or hypotheticals? what's that what do you mean just pick one hypotheticals what do you think yeah you like that yeah yeah okay if you could go back and change one thing about your season hypothetically what would it be about my season or about what i did hmm season in general yeah season in general i mean it would be get out mickey get out mickey yeah a thousand percent okay if you could change one thing about how you played
Starting point is 01:02:48 I would watch the live feeds for a season before I went in I wish I did that Okay If you could have any job in the world What would it be? Oh my God What I'm doing now Just literally being myself
Starting point is 01:03:01 I freaking love this That's amazing I literally love my life I'm obsessed I want to just I would love to host I would really I would love to like host some events
Starting point is 01:03:11 Red carpets whatever Totally I'm not picky But I just want to be myself Yeah sure you should host a podcast and on big brother yes I would die I feel like there's one out there that Rob has a podcast that's the one yep but other than that the Jess Graff but she talks about more things than just Big Brother but if you did like a a big brother
Starting point is 01:03:37 podcast yeah like on big Tommy this is actually good I'm kind of into this we'll talk we'll talk I'm into this. I love that. I have a creative mind and Jason's good at executing. So if you need us. What's escuting? Executing.
Starting point is 01:03:54 Oh, executing. Oh, God. No, you said it right. If you could be the best person in the world at one thing, what would it be? Like if I could pick one thing to be the best at, um, emailing. Like managing my freaking life.
Starting point is 01:04:10 Oh, God. Yeah, that's funny. What a great answer. Oh, my God. That is Kate. You know what, touche. Touche. I, too, would want to be good at that.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Oh, my gosh. My best friend always says that my life is like I'm driving on a highway and I am driving horribly. I'm swerving all around. Everything's a mess. And instead of me crashing and burning, all the cars behind me are crashing and burning. And I'm flying and getting to my destination safe. That's literally what my life is.
Starting point is 01:04:37 So I guess I would. Something to be said about that. Yeah, I would want to be a better driver. That's what I would want. That's my best thing. If you could go on any other reality TV show, what would it be? It would be amazing race at this point. I love to travel.
Starting point is 01:04:52 I would love that. I think I'm really good on depression. And you're probably in the competitive mind zone right now. You know, like you're like, oh, I could do it. Yeah. Redemption. Oh, my gosh. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:03 When do they make that decision? They're actually casting right now. Because we met with Nicole and what was his? I didn't watch that seat. Victor. Oh, yeah, Victor. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:12 Yep. You know what? Let's get time. Yeah, let's do this. I know. I love them. I love them too. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 01:05:18 We're going to see them soon. If you had the ability to time travel, where's the first place you would go? Probably the 80s, just because I love them so much. I'm the 90s, but. I know. Well, I was born in the 90s, so I feel like I got my fair share of them, but I never experienced the 80s. That'd be fun. I like the music.
Starting point is 01:05:36 I experienced four years of the 80s, but I don't remember it. If you could get a ticket or, what? If you could get a ticket to any show or event in the world, what would you want a ticket to? I would love to just, like, have a free ticket to see Wicked every night because I love that show so much. Me too. I have literally seen Wicked over 30 times. I'm not even exaggerating. So good.
Starting point is 01:05:59 Wow. Here she goes. I love it so much. Popular. I'll help you be popular. Oh, I'm obsessed. I love it so much. Did you see Hamilton or no?
Starting point is 01:06:09 Yes, I love Hamilton. It's amazing. It's amazing. Everyone loves him. Yeah, it's so good. It's ridiculous. This is the girl that played the role in Wicked, who's so funny. Kristen Chanaway.
Starting point is 01:06:22 Yeah. She's amazing. I love her. Somebody got to meet her the other night that I know and I was dying. No, yeah. She's so good. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:06:31 We got to wrap up because we have to catch a flight. I've done, I think, 10 podcasts in two days. I'm very proud of myself. You're amazing. Nothing like 99 days in the Big Brother House. However many days, what was it? Yeah, 99. Well, I did 86, but, you know.
Starting point is 01:06:44 It doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. I can't complain. I do one thing at the end of my podcast. I give away an Instagrammy. Somebody, everybody should go follow that's inspiring. My Instagrammy for this week is actually one of my friends, also a fellow Canadian and podcaster. Her name is Aaron Toulor.
Starting point is 01:06:59 She has an Instagram account, which is at Rob Beauty Talks. She's been on my podcast a few times. It's very inspiring. It's centered on self-love and from images that she shares to the captions that she writes. It's so powerful. It's also a great reminder when I'm on. Instagram to take a moment to just scroll and feel like refreshed and good in life, feel some self-love.
Starting point is 01:07:19 Everybody go follow her. She's winning my Instagrammy. And Tommy, I'm just so thrilled to have you on the podcast. I am so grateful. Thank you. You are. I'm so happy to be here. My first podcast.
