Old Gods of Appalachia - Old Gods of Appalachia presents: Goth Prom

Episode Date: August 28, 2026

There’s a story whispered in these hollers that speaks of the ones who never got their proper prom — how they wait, patient as roots, for the night the veil goes thin enough to try again. This Hal...loween, that night comes to Asheville, North Carolina. On October 31st, Old Gods of Appalachia drags Eulogy down into the dark for a night unlike any other — fog curling low across the floor, candlelight flickering like it’s afraid of something just outside the door. DJ Poltergeist commands the decks, spinning deep cuts that sound like they were pulled straight up out of the mountain itself. Prom Royalty will be chosen and crowned by the hedge witch and yours truly, in a ceremony older and stranger than any homecoming court you ever knew in high school. Keep your eyes on the crowd... members of the Old Gods of Appalachia cast may creep among the revelers (as schedules permit). Before you leave, the merch table waits, offering the opportunity to carry a little piece of the dark home with you. The doors don’t open until 7pm, and the night doesn’t truly begin until 8, but for those who want to kick things off early, a pre-show meet & greet begins at 5pm. Extend your evening with early access to the venue, and enjoy the exclusive opportunity to chat with the cast. Meet creators Steve Shell and Cam Collins; the voice of Granny White, Betsy Puckett; the voice of Polly Barrow, Tracey Johnston-Crum; the voice of Granny Underwood, Stephanie Hickling Beckman; the voice of Glory Ann Boggs, Allison Mullins; and the voice of Conrad Barrow, Cecil Baldwin. With special appearance by season six cast member and New York Times bestselling author Don Martin (Verity Vox and the Curse of Foxfire). Tickets are limited and sold as an optional add-on to your general admission ticket. So dig out the taffeta, the lace, the fishnets, and all your black t-shirts. Dress in your finest and most fiendish. Because down here, the mountain remembers every monster who never got to go to prom — and tonight, they will.Tickets are on sale now! https://dice.fm/event/v3l3ov-goth-prom-old-gods-of-appalachia-takes-over-eulogy-31st-oct-eulogy-asheville-tickets Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/old-gods-of-appalachia.
