Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi everyone, welcome to another episode of On Display. I'm so happy you guys are tuning in with me today. I mean if you're listening to this, we're about to hit a three day weekend, which who doesn't love a three day weekend, right? And if you're from Jersey, a lot of you ahead and down the shore. So as you're listening to this right now, I am probably packed up in my car driving down the shore with a bunch of children and a little white dog and like food that was gonna expire for the next four days because I don't know if anybody else does this, but I have issues.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Like I go through my whole entire fridge when I know I'm not gonna be here for the next four days because I don't know if anybody else does this, but I have issues like I go through my whole entire fridge when I know I'm not going to be here for the next four days and I want the strawberries, I want the grapes. I'm like that chicken cutlet's still going to be good. I'm going to the kids will snack on it. I last minute I literally start like packing up the car with random food. The peaches are going to go bad. I'm going to bring the peaches. I'm a psycho with that. I don't know why. But yeah, Antonia is having, she's the senior. So I feel like she's been getting seniority around here this year, which, you know, the boys will get their turn, but they all ask all the time, like, can they bring friends for the weekend to the showhouse? And, you know, they're always
Starting point is 00:01:21 able to have friends come and go, but like as far as sleeping over and like taking bed space and taking my extra rooms in the house. I only allow like one at a time to really do that or else it's complete chaos. So in 20th Decided that she's bringing five girlfriends this weekend to sleep over for three nights straight. So cue that like snacks, the cooking, the I'm hungry and the towels. And I have all white towels guys in my show house. And they're full of makeup and like tanning whatever they put on when they're laying out. And I lose my mind. Like, you know, that episode of Beverly Hills, when she got like the tanning lotion or something on the couch, like like that's what happens to me And I literally told Antonia this year like your girlfriends that wear that one Maui lotion that's like it comes out of the bottle brown to make them glow
Starting point is 00:02:17 They are not allowed to go near my outdoor furniture or sit on my couches have I'll tell them to leave that home and I will give them any other lotion that they want to use because that's what happened last time. Okay, so that's just like some of my mom news, but in all, in all honesty, I'm going to miss this. I kind of have a feeling it's the last time she's going to ask to have all her little girlfriends over. She's officially going off to college. So it's,'s it's it's
Starting point is 00:02:45 going to be better sweet. So don't let me completely bitch about the whole thing. I am happy about it. And I do love when I see them all like hanging out my pool all day. And I'm like rocking on my rocking chair, watching them. I'm probably going to cry a lot this weekend because I feel like all of this stuff with Antonia has just been like hitting me lately because it's all becoming real. Her graduation's coming up. We just hemmed her prom dresses. She's going to two proms because don't forget I pulled her out of high school halfway through. So she's going to go to the first prom in her original high school and now her second prom in this high school. So we had we're doing two of everything. But yeah, it's just, you know,
Starting point is 00:03:25 it always gets a little intense having all the friends over, but it really is so beautiful to see like the woman that she has grown up to become. And it's great to see how much she's loved by her friends and family. And so it's going to be a cute little weekend with Antonia and all her friends. And also, I just have to add this in. If you guys know Memorial Day Weekend on the East Coast for all like my New Yorkers and my Jersey people listening, you know, you California people, you always get nice weather. But let me tell you what happens over here. We like never know how it's going to be from a Memorial Day weekend because it's hit or miss
Starting point is 00:04:01 every year. You either get lucky or it's like freezing. It's usually never warm enough yet. And like all week we just stare. We stare, we stare, we wait to see if we're gonna cancel barbecues, we wait to see if we're gonna cancel things. But this weekend actually is turning out pretty nice. Like 72 to 75, I can deal with that with no rain. So I'm happy, but that's that's the life of Memorial Day three day weekend. And I have one other confession. So they have off school on Friday. So of
Starting point is 00:04:31 course, we're going to go down Thursday night, right? But then they have school on Tuesday and the traffic going back on Monday is so insanity. Do any other moms want to like pull their children out of school on Tuesday? or is it just me? I'm also thinking about just sending in Tonya and Geno back and I'm like Joey, you're still young, we can miss one day school so we could just enjoy the nice weather and not drive back on Monday in the traffic because that's complete torture. Anyway, in other news, switching gears a little bit, other news, switching gears a little bit. The house wise reunion trailer. Oh my God. Wow. Just so you guys know, I did not see that either until, you know, they played it out on the TV. And before everybody started to Instagram it, they did not give us a heads up on that trailer. So I did not see it like, wow, wow, it was intense. And first of all,
Starting point is 00:05:26 I just want to say thank you so much to all of your messages, all of your DMs. I am reading them. I am reposting a lot of you too, but it's, it's sweet and it was rough. It was a rough day. I think you can see it in my face. I think you can, you see it shine through. And it's not always easy to persevere, right? It's not easy to come out and try to put your big girl pants on and do the right thing and say the right things. And you know, I was also, I was, I was giggling at myself because I forgot that I said that as I was putting my lip gloss on. I forgot I forgot that I had some snarky one liners in there. The lip gloss thing was funny and I saw a lot of people re-re- making the little Beverly Hills comment that I made and oh I don't know it's just intense.
Starting point is 00:06:16 It looks crazy. Part one guys is airing next week on Tuesday which is May 30th, you do not want to miss it. It is a three-part reunion. It takes, we could have probably did a seven-part reunion, but I think three will just be just enough of your time. So thank you guys. I see you all. I do want to say that honestly. I feel like this is my platform to really be able to like, you know, it's one thing if I see you on Instagram, but when I'm literally speaking to you for all of you that have supported me for so many years and back me up and see my side and certain things, like I do appreciate you and I do love you from the bottom of my heart. Like I could get emotional. I don't want to get emotional, but it is a lot.
Starting point is 00:06:59 And sometimes when I watch it, I stress for myself. And I'm like, wow, Melissa, like, how did you through that day? That was a day, you know, so thank you to everybody who always has my back. Okay, so let's get into this because we're about to go into one of my favorite things a three day weekend. I figured let's share some clips from some of my favorite episodes over the past few months. So this one can be one of the kindness in our cast and she knows how to take care of family
Starting point is 00:07:28 and even friends that are feuding. I had Dolores Catani on the show back in March and in this clip, we talked about how trust in relationships has changed and how modern technology isn't really helping any of the cheaters out there. And guess what, if you don't think Dolor knows how to bug a car, think again. This whole generation is a lot easier on their men. They do allow them to.
Starting point is 00:07:53 They really are. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do. They do caught. So maybe not as many people are quick to do it I don't know or if it's just the the confidence. I'm not sure. I am gonna say that that's a great point I feel like with social media with tracking with find my iPhone with the cell phones that we can just FaceTime you at any time and you got to answer or you're dead meat, right? It's like, you can't cheat easily like they could back in the day. Like for instance, if my father decided to go take a ride, but there was no cell phone, maybe a beeper, like you can't find them until they come back, you know? They were using a phone booth to call whoever they were calling.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Exactly. They have to drive to the phone booth to like call their Goumade. They were calling their Goumade from the phone booth and saying me at the hotel. Yeah, at the motel, the parking lot, a lot of parking lot going on back then. Oh parking lot, they were meeting in the parking lot. All right. Yeah. You know what? I guess what their wives could not FaceTime them could not track them could not call them and that's you just wait for them to get home. So let's just give a positive to social media because it did help
Starting point is 00:09:16 graduation. Yeah. That is the only positive I'm going to give to these iPhones and social pictures. How about pictures now? Right. Now there's a picture on every corner. You're caught. And now I see one of my girlfriends man out. My girlfriend's getting a picture before he sees me. That's top girl, top girl's girl. I am a girl's girl. Same.
Starting point is 00:09:39 If I'm out and somebody you're with comes into a place, I don't care if he walks in alone. I don't care if he walks in alone. I don't care if he walks in with 10 guys. You're getting the picture of your man being there because you're my friend and I got your back. I love it. That's my kind of girl. You know me, Dolores.
Starting point is 00:09:55 I love it. And you know me, I'm an investigator and so are you. We will find out anything. Don't try to cheat on us because we're gonna get you. I thought, I mean, I don't know how many people know this. Probably not a lot because we don't talk about it that much. You know, I know how to bug a car. I know how to bug an off.
Starting point is 00:10:14 I can I will trace anybody. I never tell you who my friends are so that when I find something out, people are going to tell me, so it gets back. I'm telling you. I know you're like that and I love it about you. I love it about you. You're like a little PI or like a detective. And I'm the same.
Starting point is 00:10:33 I find out everything I see, everything. Let me ask you this with Paulie. I never asked you this because this would be serious. Do you have each other's password for Instagram like with DMs and stuff like that? Do you guys see each other's DMs or no? No, so the password no. It's not like his is hooked up to my phone, but we have full access to each other. Right. If you wanted to see it, right? If I wanted to see I could pick it up. Paul helps me
Starting point is 00:10:58 with my Instagram like he he loves to make real. He loves to take pictures. So, helps me a lot with that stuff. So I'll just hand them my phone and go, okay, I am so clean. I am so not worried about a thing and it feels so good just to hand the phone over and be like, here. And you know what, he has no problem. I have never been with anybody who is,
Starting point is 00:11:24 who I could trust like Paul Connell. He's not a, he's not a screw around. He's not a freak. I don't know who got to hit before me. He, he don't even look, he don't do not, that that I know of, like he don't even kid around like that. Wow, I love it. That's, that's perfect.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Isn't that how you want him to be? I mean, it's okay Paul. You could tell me it goes pretty. It's okay. You know, but he's not even not. He's not that guy. No, and even if like one of my girlfriends are in a room with him by himself, he's like, where's the Lord's? I think she went upstairs. You can go upstairs. Oh, yeah. Oh, I love it. I love. Look at this. You don't even have to use any of your skills on this guy. What the hell. They're all going to waste. Oh, you're good. skills. I know, right? Okay. SpotMe eligibility requirements and over job limits apply. cchime.com slash spotme. So guys I had this couple on that I really loved chatting with. They talked to me about how it felt being on Watch What Happens Live, catching up with Andy after a few years. And they also asked me for a little advice on how to handle your kids being on reality TV, which I think may be a hint at some of their future plans. Ladies and gentlemen, former Vanderpump rule stars, Jackson Brittany. How did that feel to come back and see Andy and be back on TV?
Starting point is 00:13:47 A little emotional actually, but whenever we were behind the scenes and stuff like backstage, I was like, well, this is crazy because you know, that was such a big part of our lives. Highest rated, highest rated watch what happens live episode. The season. You know who you had to beat out, right? So I have to beat you out. I think if I'm being on it, somebody tweeted at me, somebody finally just trumped or Melissa's watch what happens live.
Starting point is 00:14:13 And it was you guys. Yes, so congratulations. We've heard that you were going through a lot of crazy stuff right now too. So I understand. Oh my god. You don't even know. Yeah, so much. You know what? I get so much shit for being normal. I know that if you,
Starting point is 00:14:30 if, like, if you think that's like, no, if you think I'm lying, I'm not lying. I could shit for being normal. If that makes any sense. I'll only imagine like housewives just as much drama as a vaner pump. So, oh my god. Yes. Go through and like just like being a parent on while you were on that show and going through that drama because we will be if we come back on TV ever like we'll be parents now before it's kids. So it's a whole different challenge for us. I feel like
Starting point is 00:15:03 I mean, it's challenging now even just the stuff we're getting back into now, like making sure we have babysitters here for this and that. It's like, you know, what do we want to involve? That's probably a great question that I'd like to ask you actually, what do you choose for them to be part of and what do you not choose them to be a part of? Do you allow them to be in the limelight or do you not? Like what is okay and what's not okay? How do you
Starting point is 00:15:25 juggle that? That's probably a really good question. I think people would want to know too with that are in reality. How do you juggle the kids? Yeah, you know, that's all of my kids basically. So Antonia, my oldest, she was like four when we started and my middle was two and Joey was pretty much born. He was two months old. So it's it was rough because with housewives, it's not so like you guys get to go to that restaurant, you get to be out of the house a lot. Housewives is a lot in the house right? Especially the Jersey. It's about your kids, it's about your family, it's about our in-laws, it's about everything. So our kids are just as known around here as we are. Like,
Starting point is 00:16:08 yes, like sometimes they'll notice my kids in the mall before they notice me and then looking for me. So it's crazy. And it's like with us, I didn't really have a choice. I had to make that choice as a parent where I was like, if I'm going to do this, I have to know that my kids are going to be on TV right now. And I've been on TV for 13 years. So it's like their whole lives have been on TV. So they're like the little Kardashians. It's great. It's seriously. But I can tell you this and you can take this advice from me if you want. What you have them and your obviously your son is like too young right now right to have to deal with any of this but what they participate in and if they decide I don't want to be part of this conversation and I don't want to be in the room they never have to right so and that's my advice I mean you won't have to deal with any of that for you know as of now. But if that's always how I handled it.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Like, and if it was a situation that I was like, you want to see my kids and everyday life with me in my house. Fine. If it's about drum, but they're walking out the room because this is not what their life is about. I chose this life, not them. I love that. That's exactly how I, that's a good, that's really good advice. Like, let me see you with your child and let me see you go
Starting point is 00:17:23 onto the playground. Let me see you making dinner for your kid. Let me see your family life. But when you're having a conversation about, you know, the asshole who did something at the bar, the kids out of the room, not a boss. Okay. I agree. They don't need to hear that stuff.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Right. And that's how I have handled it for as long as I could. I mean, not every single time because someone will roll the tape right now and find somewhere where my child was in the conversation. But my child, you'll never hear, they don't comment on things like that. They're not part of the conversation. So I feel like if you just show us you as a family with the kids on reality TV, it could be okay. Yeah. Keeping them out of that. That worry, that worrying about like just using my kids against me or talking about my kids in a negative way, because I know one of these days is going's gonna happen. The trolls. We're gonna use my kid or say something.
Starting point is 00:18:09 And it's nine times out of 10, Bernie's different. Nothing bothers me. I have thick skin. I go, I'm like, you go fuck yourself. I don't. But you know, there's always that one thing and I'm gonna see that's gonna hurt me or something like that where they're going to use my kid against me or say something and like, has that happened to you where like they use, yeah, I feel like, right? You went in a mom mode and you went to parent mode and you're like, forget this. I'm a parent and now you're using my kid. That's not how kids below the belt. For sure. For sure. It's below the belt personally. Oh, duh. And you lose your shit. Right. But they're going to. Yeah. personally. Oh, duh. And you lose your shit. Right, but they're going to. Yeah. I hopefully they don't because now everybody, they're becoming parents, right? You guys are really talking like you're about to be back on reality TV. I mean, I'm just
Starting point is 00:18:55 staying here. I don't know. All signs are lead into your gearing up for it. But I'm not going to say anything because I don't want to get in any kind of trouble. But like all signs sound like you have a lot of conversations over there. I mean, obviously, okay, I hear this. You guys are asking me for a lot of advice about kids on reality TV. I'm just going to say that right now. Maybe this is for all the parents that it possibly could be having on TV or going. Oh, you just want to help a friend out. You want to help like a random couple that's coming to LA that says, maybe we want to get into reality.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Yeah. Okay. Well, I don't believe that for a minute. So I had Margaret Joseph's on a while back and we talked about the reality of reality TV and how social media for all that it's worth can sometimes be pretty nasty for the realist people on the shows. I think certain people see you in the public eye and there's one thing I think about you and myself, we make this look easy and that it comes easy. So people
Starting point is 00:19:56 like, why can't I have that too? And I never thought of that, but you're absolutely right. And it's not easy. This isn an easy. So of course, I've had some relationships that are going to play out on this season that you know about that has unfortunately come out against myself, you Jackie, this one friend who I couldn't deliver her to be on the show with us. Unfortunately, I couldn't deliver what she wanted. I, and that's very, very sad when people jealousy really gets people.
Starting point is 00:20:27 But I think what happens is when we make something look easy, people want it. People think, well, if, it's so easy, why can't I have it too? Well, it's not easy. This is social media. No, social media and being a housewife is very intense for us, right? A wrong. I mean, this is a very for us, right? Or wrong. It is. This is a very, it's not an easy job.
Starting point is 00:20:48 I mean, there's only been 100 something housewives. In the history of the last 15 years that housewives have been on, not Jersey has been on, we've done 13 seasons, right? But in the history of housewives with those things, everything else, I think it's 15 or 16 years. It's been less than 200 housewives in the history of housewives. So out of all the women in the United States, so the truth is,
Starting point is 00:21:12 it's not a easy job. It's, you are in the public eye, it's, it's grueling, and it's fantastic as it is. It's, it's as hard as it is. And I think people think it comes easy, and they want it for themselves, and people unfortunately get a taste of the spotlight and want it also. You know what I think, Margaret? I think that sometimes the realist people on reality TV
Starting point is 00:21:35 are often open to the deepest attacks on social media, because people know the real us. Do you know what I'm saying? They see it, they real us. Do you know what I'm saying? They see it, they know us. They, I feel like without seeing a lot of the dark side or if we don't have a lot of the dark side, social media sometimes wants to create a dark side. And lately, I mean, I know you know, and like people, you know, there's definitely social media out there that are just, they wake up in the morning, right? And they start from 9 a.m. until midnight, just trying to say
Starting point is 00:22:09 the most horrible things they can. And what I found recently and, you know, is that they're now pulling clips from 2010 that are not that bad. I'm like, what if you pull the other side of the clip to see why I'm reacting to something that was happening to me, it's almost like it's just such bullshit that people have zero so they have to go back 10, 15 years to try to find something and anything that they can possibly dig for. It's like, give it up. Move on.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Yeah. That's what I don't understand. Why people cannot get over the past. And I think we'd still be in a civil war if we didn't move forward. I mean, we wouldn't be able to go to Florida, the North and the South. I don't understand how people cannot move past things. You have come so far and you are not a grudge holder. You don't bring up things from a long time ago.
Starting point is 00:23:04 You have forgiven so much in life in general. You move forward. I don't understand why people cannot move forward in life and keep bringing up things. Because that's not a way forward. Nothing gets done or settled if you can't forget things. Or just move. You don't have to...
Starting point is 00:23:22 I can't get my words up, so I'm like in shock when I look on social media and I see these things coming up, well this happened. I even saw people pull up clips of your friend Jan who that happened and I'm always in shock, like why are we talking about this? There's so many things that are much more relevant to today and it's as my friend Jen shot me a text the day
Starting point is 00:23:46 that aired and said, I'm so sorry, I lied. Like she honestly shot me a text explained to me, I lied. I just, I don't know why I got dragged in by the producers in your sister-in-law and all these people and Kim D and yada, yada, yada, and I did it. And I'm sorry. Literally she texted me that. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:24:02 And I mean, it's so old already. And the show has changed so much. And people have evolved. And I don't understand why this is so bad. I think people Margaret, when you, did you used to watch? I mean, back in the day, there was, there was a lot of different character. There was a woman Penny who came through, right?
Starting point is 00:24:19 That used to say she was a social media like, like she used to go hard on social media. Then she came out and said, I don't know why I did that. I was just trying to get out the show. And I was influenced. She came out and said, I was influenced by your sister-in-law on Kim Day. Everyone is always influenced by another someone else on our show to do bad to others. Yeah, it's all people trying to get their moment. But I mean, people are so invested, which great they keep us on TV, but be invested on what's going on now. Be invested in the moment and what's happening.
Starting point is 00:24:52 We're here for entertainment. We're not here to, we're not here in cancer, okay? Right. It's not that serious. Exactly. Which I write, and that's what it is. Yes, exactly. Which I write and that's what it is. Starting point is 00:25:54 And I played a game with them a couple months ago about all the recent happenings in the Bravo universe at the time. Ladies and gentlemen, it's crossing the T's with the two T's in a pod. All right, ladies, I need to play this little game with you and I'm going to call it crossing the T's. Because listen, you guys don't hold back on how you feel. So I'm going to ask you about certain probable happenings. I want you to get your thoughts together and I want to find out which ones made you angry and who crossed the T teeth. Okay, you ready? Yeah. Did Jen Shaw cross the tees with her outburst in San Diego after not receiving the master bedroom?
Starting point is 00:26:32 Of course, you're a proctor, cheese pouring alcohol on somebody's new blown out hair is very upsetting. It's like the worst thing ever. No, just a special. I thought it was gross. All right. What about Meredith? Did she cross the tees when she talked about her opinion on Lisa's businesses? Meredith talked about Lisa.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Yes, she crossed the tees. Um, I think she did. You know, after somebody's business. I don't think she crossed the tees. I think she did what they do in Salt Lake and they all talk about each other's businesses. I think just like they talked about children businesses is off of it. I don't think she was necessarily talking about the business. She was talking about a different business.
Starting point is 00:27:10 I don't know. I think Meredith did what she had to do because otherwise Meredith is smart. Okay. We're going to talk about OC. Did Noelle across the T's when giving Heather's daughter the R rated card game. I think she just bought a card game on Amazon. And didn't know. I didn't know. I think that she was just trying to be really think she didn't realize what she was doing. I think she's
Starting point is 00:27:30 trying to relate to relating to be supportive. But yeah, I mean, I didn't know. I don't think she knows that. Yeah. All right, with Vanderpump. I know we spoke about this, but with everything that's coming out, who like what is pissing you off? What is crossing the T's the most about Ariana, Raquel and Scandival? The amount of time. I think that people, I think everybody's human. Everybody will make mistakes. But, Keene, you're friends. Boyfriend is crossing the line.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Well, that's crossing the line, but especially for seven freaking months. I mean, you can make a bad decision. It's one day. If you're a fucking my husband, I'm gonna beat your ass. Tamra is now the time to tell you. Tamra, I'm gonna have to agree with you on that one. Tamra, I hate to break it to you, but... I mean, it's gonna do a different job. Take that off my list of things.
Starting point is 00:28:21 I do try humming Eddie for weeks. Ah, shit. All right, regarding castmates, do you guys think that Brandi Glanville crosses the line anytime that she says, like, shut the fuck up or bitch when she starts yelling, is this crossing the tease? Well, on an ultimate
Starting point is 00:28:37 girls trip, we had to talk with her. You cannot do that. You should not do that, but she continued it. But does Tamara ever do that? Um, I don't know. I don't talk to people like that. Now, you don't. Is that what she's saying that seriously? No, you don't. She doesn't. She would never. I
Starting point is 00:28:54 don't feel that extreme. I do not go to this. I don't like, she'll tell you to fuck a duck, but that's what you do. We do something wrong that I won't be 30 you as shut the fuck up bitch. Like, oh, yeah, I don't be 30 you as shut the fuck up bitch like I Yeah, I don't know that that's not the way I roll that that's the way She ran the wrong I've been told to shut the fuck up on camera. Yeah, but you don't just casually talk to people shut the fuck up
Starting point is 00:29:17 No, I mean, no, I didn't do it to anybody else. I cried. Of course she did Oh my god Like when I worked with her. I mean, I do love her, but working with her Reynolds and make girls trips, that was her go-to. And we all had to tell her like, you can do that. Just don't do that. We feel like you have to mother her at some point
Starting point is 00:29:37 and teacher. Yeah. Okay, last one. Did Rena cross the tease with her new bowl haircut she received last weekend. I got the dumb, dumb, or what? The guy from the kid from Stranger Things. I was like, for fear's sake.
Starting point is 00:29:52 We want that. No. It was Willie Wonka. Who just said that? I agree. Willie Wonka. That Willie Wonka and the chocolate factory. Yeah, the remake of it with what's in it.
Starting point is 00:30:04 But hold on, did she just do this for a look? Or it was like, I know, but here's the thing. I'd rather be a basic bitch in my standard like tank and jeans and boots. I don't get it. I can't do it. She's really into fashion and maybe that like, maybe I just missed that. But I'm barely getting into high-rise jeans.
Starting point is 00:30:23 So what's just right there? Brandon Lasco Coachella, everyone in their mother called me, what's Johnny Depp from? Johnny Depp. No, they called me, what was it? I had this hat on in my short hair and everybody called me whatever his name was.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Charlie and Charlie and Charlie talk like that. Yeah, so I, you know what, I've been getting that. Johnny Depp, but I didn't know I was doing a look. Unbelievable. All right, guys, thanks for playing cross the tees. I knew you guys would I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding.
Starting point is 00:30:47 I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding.
Starting point is 00:30:55 I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding.
Starting point is 00:31:03 I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. show and how it truly helped her recovery that she bravely showed all of us on camera. Guys, here's my friend, Jackie Goldschneider. Love you, girl. It was the right decision for me to take a step back the season. It was a hard decision. And I came to terms with it by the time we started filming. But then that first few times we were filming,
Starting point is 00:31:28 I was like, what am I supposed to do? Like after all these years, what am I doing? What does a friend do? Like how am I in the room, but I'm not really in the room. So last night, the first thing I'll say is that last night, I was happy to be surrounded by so many people who I love and who I wanted to celebrate with
Starting point is 00:31:51 because I wasn't home going, like watching by myself and like, you know, just grunting, you know, which I probably would have been because- When you had so much love. Right. Yeah, it was like weird, but I did like today, you know, I try not to go down a rabbit hole with social media, but today some of the comments they were like, oh my God, Jackie must have,
Starting point is 00:32:12 Jackie obviously felt like unimportant because she told Rachel you're not looking at me and like, you know what, I'm gonna fucking own it. Yes, those first few times I walked in and I'm like, I'm not important anymore. And like after a few times, I was like I'm like, I'm not important anymore. And after a few times, I was like, oh wait, I'm important. And I got into the groove and everything, but when Rachel wasn't talking to me, and I love Rachel, but when she wasn't talking to me
Starting point is 00:32:36 during that conversation, I was like, I was so angry. I was so mad. I know. I was the one standing there, and you know how much I love you, right? And Rachel was a friend of mine, like obviously from our kids at school and everything. And I'm like, I kind of, I felt your pain for a minute because I knew where you were coming from.
Starting point is 00:32:55 It was like the first time you've ever entered a situation and been like, wait a second, what actually, what's my role here, right? And I get that it's like a little sensitive and a little like, it's like odd, I get it. I totally get it. And I do love and appreciate this is why I just introduce you as the realist real housewife of New Jersey, because I love that you just said that. And it's Jack, it's the truth, right?
Starting point is 00:33:18 It's on offer. And I'm good with it now, but it was really awkward. And like when I said that, I was hurt and I was like, I didn't know what I was doing. And like, I went home from that scene and I told Evan, like, I'm not important. I'm not important. And like eventually, like, I realized, like, I'm just in a different role, you know? And so I got, you know, I actually had a great season, and I loved this season. But that those first few rounds of filming, they were like weird, you know. I get it. And I feel like that was our very first all cast event that we were all at.
Starting point is 00:33:53 And that was the first time you were ever meeting Rachel or... No, we had the roller skating. And they were all so though, I wasn't even in that many conversations. So I was already on edge, you know. But you'll see, I think I mean, I haven't even in like that many conversations. So I was already like on edge, you know, but you'll see, I think I mean, I haven't seen any more episodes, but within the next few episodes, like I like warm up. And then I really forgot like the whole friend thing by like the middle of the season. No, I think you rock it whatever this friend thing is
Starting point is 00:34:19 or whatever, I don't, I didn't sense it from you all season. Like I felt like you were there the way you're always there. You were in every scene. You were at every, like you were on, you were just, you were with us the whole time. Like I didn't sense you not there anymore than I ever did before. I know personally, you're probably not filming as much.
Starting point is 00:34:40 No, I, yes, I had no personal storyline, which was probably better for me personally. This season, just to give me time to recover privately, you know, but, um, but yeah, by, by after like the first few weeks, I was, I was rocking it. So. And you're taking this time. I mean, is it, there's a little bit of a relief? No, to have like like not the pressure of like the personal thing breathing down your neck during the season. Yes, although I will say I was so happy to put my story out there, but it was more effective for my recovery to be able
Starting point is 00:35:18 to do all my therapy privately. On display with Melissa Gorge is brought to you by progressive insurance. Most of you listening right now are probably multitasking. You guys know this would not be a best of without featuring a little bit of my funny husband Joe Who not too long ago got in the hot seat with me because I caught him looking at some not so PG rated things on social media. So we had them check it out live on the podcast and well, you can probably guess what happened. I'm in a haasi right now. I want me to talk about it. I want to know for all the women out there that are marrieding up boyfriends, right? And if I was sitting on a couch and would tell a little story, I was sitting on a couch the other night. friends, right? And if I was sitting on a couch and we'll tell a little story, I was sitting on a couch the other night. And I was scrolling through TikTok, right? And.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Oh, you're going to tell this stupid story. There was a girl. There was a girl. Yeah. Oh, Zara on TikTok. You know, I can't help it. This is where the world we live in is 2023. There is a girl. So I see a picture of a girl. I'm like, whoa, look at this one. And I just, I'm looking at her. My wife is sitting behind me. She's not sitting behind. Well, whatever she walked up behind me. I didn't even know she's sitting behind my shoulder. And she goes, I can't believe you. And she starts flipping out. I mean, losing her shit because I watched you. I saw what you were doing. You were scrolling through TikTok and then you were clicking on all the girls and when I, that's not how it happened.
Starting point is 00:38:09 I happened to show, I wanted to show you something on my phone, right? And you're like, staring at your phone like a savage and like a savage. Yes. Every time I look at my phone, she says the same thing. I went over to you to show you something on my phone. And I noticed like whatever you were watching, the girl was like almost pulling her pants down to she has a little underwear on. And I'm like, I don't show you.
Starting point is 00:38:32 And I'm like, what is TikTok? It's TikTok. Is this like, what is this? Like, what are you watching porn? Like, what is this? So I look at it, he's like, it's TikTok. And I'm like, wait a second. So like in your algorithm, like all the girls who are trying to be sexy
Starting point is 00:38:47 and like pulling down their pants to show you their perfect little ass, that's what you're sitting on the couch watching with your immediate, like I'm like, me and Antonia are sitting right here, like you're staring at another woman's ass. For all the girls out there, sorry. You guys know that annoying as hell
Starting point is 00:39:02 and it's just stupid. So I sat there with a bunch of my friends who's married and I said, listen guys, you guys look at the girls on TikTok. I got bitched at it. I mean, we had a fight. She ripped me apart. She yelled at me.
Starting point is 00:39:14 I was like, you are gross. I was like, what is this? I'm going wrong. And every girl is like, you're looking at other women while you're sitting on the couch watching TV with your wife. There's not one guy that didn't say, no, I look at it, I even show my wife.
Starting point is 00:39:25 Some guys like I show my wife. I talk about him, I get out of here. You do. He goes, yeah, and he goes, and you know what they say? I'm sure your wife, if there was a hot guy on that TikTok, she looked at him. Right? Is that true? Is that true? Have you look at hot guys?
Starting point is 00:39:40 I know. I don't click on the ones that are doing some freaky shit, like pulling down. Like I don't click on the ones that are doing some freaky shit like pulling down like I don't do that. No, no, if there was a sexy guy, you know, this girl was pulling down her pants in a very sexual manner. At first I thought it was like he was on the live and she was it was like I'm like, what is this? Like only fans? Like what's happening here right now what am I catching like I by the way totally caught him off guard because I just jumped over to the couch like not telling him I was like a gazelle. No, she shot over like she was going to eat that like her. I didn't you're missing the point here. I didn't even do it purposely. I was really just like, oh, Joe, look at this on my phone. Caught the mother of my car off guard.
Starting point is 00:40:25 He's like, oh, oh, oh, my God. His little finger, his little finger, what's X out of it so fast. And then I grabbed this one with, what the hell are you looking at? Sure enough, the girl's like, oh, I'm like, oh, it's ticked off. You can't look at nothing.
Starting point is 00:40:38 It's ticked. The world is watching. Why are you watching that? Because it's ticked off. It's meant to be looked at. Just like you look at. I'm sure you look at now. If I walk by, she's looking at a guy.
Starting point is 00:40:48 I just look and keep walking. It's because I'm confident. Now I'm going to have her mission secure. Now I'm going to look. I'm going to look. I'm sure you do. Why not? I'm sure you look.
Starting point is 00:40:58 I'm sure there's one that I was told off to the side. What you were watching was like half a porn. It was like like I can watch a guy who pulls his sweat pants down. And then there's just like an underwear and a bulge because that will you want me to look at it? I want to hear from all everybody. I want you to DM me, shoot me some text that if it's okay for men to look at TikTok, it's no big deal. It's not like now if I was messaging her, but what if I was in on a
Starting point is 00:41:24 live, that is a. Why were you going to like, but I was messaging her, people won't know why if I was in on a live. That is a why were you going to like, but I have eyes. I'm allowed to see. Mm hmm. I am why are you sitting there looking at that on the couch? Why? Because it was it showed up.
Starting point is 00:41:37 I like to look at animals. I really do. I like to watch animals. I do. In each other. I do. And then I like construction. And I also like to watch that like in each other. I do. And then I like construction. And I also like to watch
Starting point is 00:41:45 that like in India and all these crazy countries, how they make this food and these big tubs. I'm like, and all of a sudden this hot woman popped up. Boom. I don't know where I'm like, well, what is this? Yeah. Okay. I'm sure if they're in your algorithm, like if I look at your homepage, it's all just like pretty girls workout. I'm like, what is going on? Open up your home. Open up your let's, let's look at yours right now. I'm dying to see your TikTok home page. Okay. Let's see what comes up. Okay. It's not. I never go in her phone. I don't look over her shoulder. Hold on. So the explorer page. Well, don't. So the oh, all women. Oh wait. Oh, pretty girls. Look. What is that? I'll just like dancer. I'm on tic-tac.
Starting point is 00:42:27 I've never seen it like that. This is the explorer page. So okay, so go to your, go to your, go to your like you normally go on. I don't know how. What do you mean? Tic-tac. Go to Tic-tac. Like you normally go on and look at stuff. Oh, this is what I'm for you. Oh, I get it. This is what I'm for you. Oh, I get it Hard dash and like this this way me. Yeah Okay, okay, all housewives stuff No, no keep going I scrolled for 10 minutes like Charlie scroll for five five five years now now if we open hold on if we open yours right now Let's see girl girl girl girl girl girl girl Watch this watch this.
