Starting point is 00:00:51 crazy day, then there's no other person to help me tell you about my crazy day other than my crazy husband, Joe Gorga. Welcome, welcome to On Display with MG, honey. Yeah, always, always welcome, babe. Say hi to my malicenters What's up? Everybody do they could talk closer to the mic? Why are you shy? You're so far away Because I'm trying to relax at the same time always telling me what you're really far from the mic. How about that? Is that better? Fix the mic, you know, he's like an amateur here and there Are you how about this? I'm gonna lean back and hold the mic. Is that alright he's like an amateur here and there. How are you? How about this?
Starting point is 00:01:25 I'm gonna lean back and hold the mic. Is that all right? Can I do that? Yeah, that's good. Fix your shirt. Oh my god. I don't know if we should start with the crazy day that I had today. Like I can't believe I'm smiling and laughing right now. It's taking everything in me to smile. Yeah, you might as well start with that. There's a couple things that have been going on, but yeah, I think we need to start with the very obvious. I mean, my day, I'll start with how my day started, actually. You, I got a call from Margaret early this morning while I was working out.
Starting point is 00:01:55 I was at the gym working out really, really early this morning and Margaret just rings my phone. I'm like in the middle of a set. I'm like, uh-oh, here we go. What was she gonna say? She's like, hi, what are you doing? You know, she was like in the middle of a set. I'm like, uh oh, here we go. What was she gonna say? She's like, hi, what are you doing? You know, she is like, I got a little gossip and she just starts like talking to me or whatever.
Starting point is 00:02:11 That's Margaret. She's like, your husband was just here. He's so cute. I guess you had to do something with Joe with like plumbing or whatever it was. So she was like, he's so cute. You know, he told me I gotta sell this house. This house is too big.
Starting point is 00:02:23 What am I doing with this big house? And I don't know, he's just so cute at 630 in the morning walking around I'm like you were up at 630 in the morning Margaret's never up that early like I wake her up at 9 like she's never she's out She's got her boobs out walking around holding her dog. Her dogs got the period her dog No, she picks her up she she shows a little bit of, I'm like, come on. Oh my God, really?
Starting point is 00:02:47 I saw what the dog just leaks over her whole house. She goes, ah, little big, it's a little bloody. Her dog has to wear a diaper like me. So cute, the dog is cute, but it's got a period. No, her new dog is really cute. I didn't know dogs get periods. Yeah, it's a girl, honey. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:03:01 They get their period. Damn. Of course they do. Damn, that's why I just keep on getting boy dogs. I think they get it twice a year only though, like every six to eight months. That's a dog period. So they get in the, what do you call that?
Starting point is 00:03:17 I mean, they're lucky. We got to bleed every month. They're like just six to eight months. Like that's when they're in heat and then they want wanna make a baby, they get all tingly probably. I can't believe that. Remember when my dog freaked out once,
Starting point is 00:03:29 like he was in, just needed to get outside and he was like crying and crying and moaning and it's like he wanted to see the dog across the street. That means they're in heat, I think. I'm in heat every day. I'm crying every day. You really are in heat every day. It's like sick.
Starting point is 00:03:44 It's like it's really a sick, sick, sick thing. No, I'm ready every day. You really are in heat every day. I'm in heat right now. Sick, sick, sick thing. No, I'm ready to go. Oh my God. That's gonna end eventually, right? I mean, how long are you gonna be like this? Yeah, see, if I do slack a little bit, you get crazy. Well, can we talk about what just happened to me
Starting point is 00:04:01 two hours ago? The fact that I'm doing this podcast right now, guys, shows you my, what's that word? It's, you know, my drive. The fact that I, my motivation and my dedication, that's the word I was looking for. I'm dedicated because this podcast comes out tomorrow and you and I had a crazy, had a crazy week,
Starting point is 00:04:24 so I'm really throwing this one in last minute and I know that I have to do it because my podcast comes out tomorrow but I just got into a, I got into a terrible, terrible car accident today guys. Like the worst one I have ever been in in my life. So scary. I don't know, is that the worst one? Oh my God, in my life. So scary. The worst one. Oh my
Starting point is 00:04:45 god. Oh my god. I've never had airbags explode on me like that before. I was I was trapped in the car. Like airbags exploding on me. I the powder was coming out of the airbags. My car guys I was frantic. I got t boned.. I got T-boned. T-boned. And I was not, you know, thank God that car, I was in my Lamborghini, which I have to be honest, I don't always drive the Lamborghini. I only drive it when it's like nice out,
Starting point is 00:05:15 and I was going to lunch with a couple girlfriends, and then after lunch, I stopped. I literally went to the dry cleaner. I was picking up my dry cleaning. I was pulling out of the dry cleaner. I was picking up my dry cleaning. I was pulling out of the dry cleaner and this intersection is really, really bad. And I was crossing and he was coming at the same time and he hit me right in the front, but he hit me hard. I felt like I was in shock.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Like I felt like I was in complete shock. I felt like I was trapped in the car. All of a sudden my car starts talking to me. The person starts talking to me. I didn't even realize that that happens because I've never been in an accident that bad. They were like, hello, are you okay? We're calling an ambulance.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Everything's okay. Like the airbags were spitting white shit at my face. I thought I was dead. I was like, am I alive? Like I just was frozen. And my legs are so bruised up and so sore. I don't know what happened, but I guess my legs hit the steering wheel, both of them.
Starting point is 00:06:09 So both of my thighs in the same place are so sore. I can barely like sit or walk, but I'm just gonna say thank God that that's right. That that's all that's happened. That's like, I called Joe, I was panicking. He was like, are you, he goes, are you yelling at me because you got in a car accident I was like no where are you just hurry up and get here no let's let's tell the truth no that's what I know after after what I say when you first called me no you said are you
Starting point is 00:06:41 okay like okay don't worry about it yeah he only a car. I know I'm upset about my place the car I can't replace you and I'm coming nervous. I want you to be more nervous. I was scared You were talking to me sounds. Okay, you know, I knew you weren't I said are you hurt your cup? You did I never an ambulance, they had to check me, they had to check my pulse. I've never, guys, I'm in shock. I'm in complete shock. This has never happened to me before in my life.
Starting point is 00:07:11 I've hit a tree before, but going slow, because it was icy out, and I've hit a tree, and it went right, and I had my three kids in the backseat, but it was nothing compared to this. When you are just driving down the street and someone comes out of nowhere, bam, it's like the loudest noise you ever heard. Joe, it's fricking scary.
Starting point is 00:07:33 No one's ever hit you like that before. No, I've been in some major accidents. Hit like that? Yes. No, like I didn't think I was gonna walk out of there. I fell asleep literally nine times in one year when I worked so much. Well that's just stupidity, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:07:49 And I had nine accidents and I hit telephone poles the same way. And I know waking, I know what the airbag does when it explodes and all that white stuff goes everywhere, it kind of freaks you out a little bit, right? Freaks you out, I was also shocked. You know when you're gonna crash that white stuff goes everywhere, kind of freaks you out a little bit, right? Freaks you out? I was also shocked. You know when you're gonna crash, maybe you could see,
Starting point is 00:08:08 like I'm sliding, I'm skidding, I'm going. No, this is just me. Do do do do do, like mining my own business, and I'm like, boom! Like I was like, oh! Like it was like, came, I didn't even see, it wasn't even like, oh my God, I see this car, it's gonna hit me.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Like I knew nothing. I just got slammed. It was a For it was very scary. I felt like my life went right before my eyes. They towed my car away They told the other person's car. We thank God the other person's fine, too. It was a couple They were Italian Joe. Definitely. They were speaking Italian. No. Yeah, I was a little I was getting mad at first though Honestly, because they were they were yeah Yeah, I was a little I was getting mad at first though honestly They were they were yeah They're a little older like they're probably in their 60s or set late late 60s early 70s You know, but they were like hip they she was fine. She goes
Starting point is 00:08:54 Oh, you need a cocktail like you need a cocktail after this. I was like, oh my gosh We were sitting on the grass just with the cops like I was waiting for you It was scary guys, it was a scary day and I have huge bruises on my thighs We were sitting on the grass just with the cops. I was waiting for you. It was scary, guys. It was a scary day. And I have huge bruises on my thighs that look and feel like shit. They're all lumpy. They're huge.
Starting point is 00:09:14 But I have to say, for that two minutes I sat in that car where I felt like I couldn't get out, where the live person was talking to me, I almost told him, stop talking to me. I'm like, I need to get out of this car. My car is gonna like explode. And like the adrenaline kicks in
Starting point is 00:09:31 and you are just like, whoa. Like I was like, what is happening right now? Joe, I couldn't open the door. I had to like slide one leg out. Why, the door doesn't open? No, it wasn't opening on that side, on my side. It was so weird. Ruined my car. And you No, it wasn't opening on that side, on my side. It was so weird. Ruined my car.
Starting point is 00:09:45 You know why it wasn't opening? Because the airbag was blocking it from opening. Oh, you ruined my car. Is that what you, yeah, okay. I was just, yeah, the car is probably totaled. Thank God you did it, because if I did it, I can't believe you. I would not care about the car
Starting point is 00:10:03 if I saw you get into an accident like that This is it was the word. I've never this was scary then I'm driving. I could have broke both my legs God forbid Then I'm an hour away from you. I'm an hour away from him driving. She's like, where are you? I'm like, I'm coming I'm coming. She and is your call me Say you were an hour away. That's the problem. You're like, I'm on my way there like that way So I was like 10 minutes later 15 I'm like I the cops like just sit in my car. It's a hundred degrees outside. She's young. I mean I go Melissa I don't have a helicopter. I'm coming. I was freaking out. I was freaking out. I was like scary

Listen, I tell you, one year, literally, I had nine accidents in one year the same way I used to work so much and when I tell you 18 20 hour days 18 20 hour days when I was cutting trees down I was in the landscaping company where you know starting my company working and I would just remember even I first met you I used to fall asleep all the time you did when I first met you you would fall asleep I said all the time. You did? When I first met you, you would fall asleep. I take around a date.
Starting point is 00:13:26 We're sitting at a restaurant, right at the restaurant. I'm falling asleep right at the restaurant. What'd you say? At first you thought I was on drugs, right? You're like, is this guy... No, because I just met you. So when you were sitting there at the table with me and your eyes closed, I was like, first of all, what's happening here?
Starting point is 00:13:42 Are you into me? You were so into me and couldn't wait to have this date. So I was like confused that you were like sitting there and your eyes started to close a little towards the end of the night. And I'm like, is this guy falling asleep at the table? Like what is happening? And then I said to myself like, maybe he does drugs.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Oh my God. Like maybe he's on drugs now come to know you. You've never even tried a drug your whole entire life. But it's like, I was definitely thinking maybe you were on something What would you have thought if your date start and you weren't falling asleep your eyes were like closing and an opening? Yeah, but how could you fight it? I was so confused. I was so tired. You don't get tired like that anymore I never see you like that anymore. Really what's in the blue blue but not at no I used to so much I kill I used to kill myself. I wonder why you were like that back in the day.
Starting point is 00:14:28 I don't know man. So I fell asleep and I I would fall asleep and I had nine accidents in one year the same way falling asleep driving about 4050 miles an hour swear right off the road and hit a telephone pole. I mean I hit nine telephone poles in one year. Waking up with the airbags, all that shit, you know, it was crazy. That's scary, it's scary. Like, and all I thought about,
Starting point is 00:14:53 this was the first thing that went through my mind, that intersection is where my son goes to the gym every day. And I know this intersection, it's a very scary, tricky one. There should be a light there and there's not a light there and it's just one of those things where everybody's just trying to get out. Joe, I swear my first thought was like,
Starting point is 00:15:11 I don't even want Gino going to this gym because I don't want him to be at this intersection. It's such a bad intersection. It's like, this is the first thing I thought of, is like my kid. And I was looking for him too, because I'm like, let me see if he's gonna like pull out of the gym or something because he's always at that gym and
Starting point is 00:15:28 It's just scary you guys know that an average of 11 accidents happen per minute 11 car accidents happen Wow per minute minute. So like this is all cops. I'll be honest. I swear Why are you saying that? I don't want to cut you off But I'm driving to come see you to come get you right now And I hear a eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Next to me car just slides and starts hitting the divider. No, I swear to God and I just kept on driving. I'm like, oh my god right on the highway and three other cars hit it boom boom boom boom boom boom boom. Oh my god And I just kept on I looked and I just kept on driving. I had to get to my wife, but that happened behind me, right at the second, so there you go. On the highway.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Look, 11 minutes, you just had one, and then it was four right there. You know? That's crazy. Yeah, it's pretty wild. Well, one other thing I wanna say that I was kind of baffled about, I don't think they realized how, so after I got hit, I'm in my car in a complete shock. My legs
Starting point is 00:16:26 are like killing me. I was thinking, Oh my God, I think I broke my legs. You know, I'm in the thing. Airbags are there. Not want there was a busy intersection. People are walking. No one walked up to the car and I was just shocked. Like I was almost insulted. Like no one walked over to my car to help me get out and I was like couldn't believe I was doing that and then as I was trying to get out of my car I was like slipping a foot through like trying to get out and I'm like and there's people standing around I just looked at everybody I was like was no one gonna try to help me get out of the car like if I were there, I would have ran over to whoever was like there and I would have been like, are you okay?
Starting point is 00:17:12 Let me help you like they just stood there. Did you get out of the car by yourself? Yes, and there was people out there watching. Yeah, and the people who hit me were both out of their car and Like walking around looking at their car and I was like, hello. Does anybody care that I'm in this car right now? I don't even know. Wow. This is something, sometimes we have the cameras in the car with Bravo.
Starting point is 00:17:40 This is something that would have been interesting footage. Oh my God. Like this is something that would have been interesting footage like oh my god this could have been a whole episode in itself because I was just Shocked how do my legs look you got bruises? I can't look at it. It's getting bigger and bigger Your skin you bruise right away. I'm such a bruiser. I'm anemic so I bruise To begin with so this is a suits for you. Well, perfect. And so I have an event on Saturday in Brooklyn. I have a gay pride event. If anybody wants to come to that, that's on my that is on my Instagram.
Starting point is 00:18:15 You can get all the details. It's a pool party. So I don't no longer know what I'm wearing to the gay pride event at the pool party in Brooklyn on Saturday because I had. What were you wearing? A cute shorts, it's hot out. Like now I need to cover these bruised legs. People are gonna think you beat me.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Like what am I gonna do? Walk around with huge bruises on my legs? I'm gonna have to find a long dress to wear now. Make a fake tattoo on them or something. Or make it color your legs the rainbow color. Oh my God, the rainbow color. I might have to make my makeup artist draw something. I love Joey Gorga on it.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Oh my God. That's exactly what I'm going to write. So see how nice your husband was. You call me. You're in my beautiful car. We go see how nice my husband was what husband wouldn't run there a million miles an hour I'm like you stupid ass you don't know how to drive you crash my car you're
Starting point is 00:19:16 gonna raise our insurance I can't believe you all jokes aside I'm pissed about pay attention when you drive you Husbands would, they'll rip you apart. Some husbands would be like, nice, like me. Not every husband's bad or mad. Let's think about it, guys. When you go through this, who do you call, right? Who's your first phone call? My first phone call was to Joe, of course.
Starting point is 00:19:40 I'm like, oh my God, where's Joe? Gotta come get me, what am I gonna do? And then when I thought you were too far away, I was about to call Gino I'm like Joe, are you gonna take a long time? So I'm just gonna call Gino, you know, like I don't I don't know But really like who do you call guys when your biggest tragedy happens? Like think about that for a second. Like who do you pick up the phone and call Joe? Who would you call? Would you call me me? I probably I just get it done I just do what I gotta do and get get to the next
Starting point is 00:20:06 He's that guy he would have came home and be like so I got a huge car accident today Look at the bruise on my arm. Yeah, my car is totaled But my guys picked me up and I went back to work like that's what Joe would have done. I'm wrong truck. I am Completely tortured by this like I am, oh my God. I rolled in a truck down a cliff. In a truck, rolled, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, it landed like 10 rolls down a cliff. Every truck was looked like a tin can.
Starting point is 00:20:39 Oh my God, that's like crazy. Got out of the truck, got out, went to work, and climbed a tree that day. Your evil Knievel. You know, it's just, you just gotta keep on going. No, but I can't keep on going. That was scary. Like, I am shaken from it.
Starting point is 00:20:54 I was really shook up. And the fact that I just keep rubbing my legs and feeling huge lumps is pissing me off. The fact that I'm thinking about the car is completely total. Thank God the other couple was okay. I mean, it was scary. It's messed up. You just got to thank God that, listen, you walked out of that accident. You could be
Starting point is 00:21:11 in the hospital. Some people don't walk out of these accidents and, you know, or it can be a lot more serious injuries. So whenever you need to thank God, pray to him tonight and say, thank you. That's it. That's true Do you know I almost have a little anxiety though about like going back there because I go back to that spot Every single day I live there. I'm like I go to the gym there as well So now you're gonna I am there that is like I go to that shopping center all the time And I'm already like having anxiety about having to do that little crossroad Now you got to take it very slow and wait that is no car. I got I did wait till there was no cars
Starting point is 00:21:49 And this guy came out of freaking nowhere. I'm like is this real life right now? Like this is how life is it's scary You know, it's crazy. I'm gonna tell you we live on a street. It's not busy at all. Nothing It's just a neighborhood and what's is, I say this all the time, no matter what time I pull out of my driveway and there's not a car in sight, all of a sudden pull out, there's a car. About to hit the car. Always the same time.
Starting point is 00:22:17 I swear to God, I'm like, holy shit. You know, you just wanna pull out of your driveway and you just keep driving. And I guarantee it happens a lot. It's like, always a car. I even car I even say to my kids look car comes out beep because I'm just rolling hell. It's Murphy's law. It's crazy. It's Murphy's law. Isn't that insane? What kind of day did you have? What's new with you? Talk to my talk to my listeners about your life a little enough about my car accident
Starting point is 00:22:42 guys I'm depressed about it but thank God I'm okay moving on I got ugly bruises on my legs I'll probably show you guys I'll probably show them to you guys on Instagram but enough about me Joe. We don't want to talk about me my my my you know I deal with life stuff interest rates insurance. Oh my God I want to talk about work. Materials through the roof, tariffs are coming to play. Gas prices were raised. Did you see gas prices already? No, did they go up? I mean, everything's like $4 back up. I'm sure the gas prices didn't go up. It's just an excuse to raise the price. Yeah, because now they can. You know, just whatever, man. They say California gas prices will hit $8 a gallon.
Starting point is 00:23:31 $8? $8, like it's normally what, two, $2, $3 a gallon, tops $3.50? No, it's like three, three. $3.54? It was like $2.80. So it's gonna double. Four bucks today.
Starting point is 00:23:43 There's a tax increase on gas in the state of California. How insane is that? Like it just makes people not wanna travel for the summer and not wanna go anywhere. Everything's double, like it just sucks. Just keep working everybody. I know, what the hell is going on? What is going on?
Starting point is 00:24:01 You're like a diesel engine, just start up and just keep on trucking. You just got to keep on keeping on. Keep working, make that money and pay those bills and there's nothing left. And just keep on making that money and keep paying those bills. Oh my God. The pharmacist says, I'll compound one for you, come back tomorrow. So Phyllis uses the cream for three days, goes to her dermatologist appointment, the doctor just looking at her thinks she's gotten work done.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Phyllis tells everyone about the pharmacy and the pharmacist who made the magical cream. And that's, believe it or not, how Genucel Skincare was born. So you wanna talk about how, well we're going to BravoCon. I'm very excited about that guys. Let's mention how BravoCon is on
Starting point is 00:27:35 and they mentioned a couple of us Jersey girls are going so I'm gonna be there. I'm very excited about that. And Joe, you're gonna be there also cause you're doing Jimmy Kimmel's comedy club that he has out in Vegas. And you're doing three nights, right? Doing BravoCon.
Starting point is 00:27:52 What day is it, you know? When's BravoCon? I think it's November 3rd here. I'm gonna look it up. Yeah, Jimmy Kimmel, I'm gonna have 11.30 shows. So right after BravoCon, come hang out. They're all 11.30 at night? I think so, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:03 Really? Oh, it's Vegas, baby. I know. You don't sleep in Vegas. I'm like, geez, that sounds so late. You're not gonna get home till two o'clock in the morning. I'm tired just thinking about it. Two in the morning, I'm not getting home
Starting point is 00:28:13 till like six in the morning. I mean, yeah, I guess so, right? Oh, BravoCon's the 14th, 15th, and 16th. November 14th, 15th, and 16th. So Joe will have two, three shows. One each night or two a night? How's it going? One each night.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Jimmy Kimball Comedy Club, come check me out. Come laugh your ass off. Make sure you have insurance because when you laugh so hard and you crack a rib, I'm not responsible. When you say that, I wanna die. You have to stop saying that line. Why, why? Okay, so you going to be at the Caesars Forum
Starting point is 00:28:47 actually. Oh no Bravo Con Bravo cons at the Caesars Forum. I'm sorry. November 14 to the 16th. You're going to be I don't know exactly where Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club is but guys, you can go on is it Ticketmaster they can go on to get those tickets. I don't know. Yeah, it's Ticketmaster. So go to Ticketmaster for that. November 14th, 15th, 16th, Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club, Joe Gorga, you know I'll come stop by and say hi
Starting point is 00:29:13 at that point too when I'm done having lots of drinks and dinner. So it's kind of good, because even if you bought a ticket to BravoCon, it, you know, the Bravolebrities like kind of, after BravoCon's over, and I think it closes by like maybe eight or nine I don't even know but they kind of all go do their own things they go to dinner
Starting point is 00:29:30 So like that gives the fans something to do if they want to come and see you after and take a little take a little Comedy moment with Joe Gorga after so you're extending their Bravo con experience. Oh, yeah Oh, yeah, and that's who's going what girls got invited? Um, I think it's just me Margaret Dolores and Teresa from from Jersey. Oh, wow Yeah, I know we're gonna do I think we're gonna do something fun with on display too. So I'm excited about that Display. Well, listen, when are you gonna come out with another song? I mean, come on Would you have I just came out with another song? I mean, come on, would you have the balls to do it? I just came out with a whole sprinkle cookie line.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Who cares? I'm booked and busy, honey. Let's go, do a song. Do you want me to work more? Yes, everybody wants you to do a song, and you should. I think you're ready, come on. Oh my God, I'm a song. I just want you to just do it, just to do it.
Starting point is 00:30:21 I actually love my songs. I'm not just saying this, the five songs that I have are really good like you could listen to them like I get the housewives do these things with the songs and I'm not saying they're amazing but they're pretty damn good like when they come on in the clubs or wherever we go and people just go ahead and they play them your son's calling your phone Joe. He's gonna be like is mommy okay? I hope that's what he wants to say cuz hey I couldn't get in touch with him. So guys but no really you should come out with another song I don't know what you're waiting for really. What should the song be about Joe? Me? What? No I already dedicated a
Starting point is 00:30:58 song to you we already have one how many times remember? How many times is you know what I would really like to do, guys? Not even... I would come out with a cover. Oh my God, a cover song would be awesome. And just so you know, speaking of cover songs, Joe and I were watching last night, America's Got Talent and Tom... I always call him Scandival, but Tom Sandoval was on and I have to say it was kind of funny to see how the judges embraced him he sang take on me which is like an Old-school really great like old-school 80s song, and you know, I love 80s music. He was pretty good, right? Yeah I thought he did pretty well. No, but listen, I got to give it to him. Listen, he's
Starting point is 00:31:44 He he's got balls. He's out there. He's good and he's entertaining his band He took a lot of shit this guy. I mean, he's not a great guy. Obviously he did what he did He's known to be like very into himself like people say all of that but I have to say the fact that I think traders really saved him a lot in the public eye because he you know he He like got to step out of Vanderpump rules and just not just to be known as the cheater guy because that's all he was he was the cheater and like she Flew to the sky and he's been being dragged on the floor, you know for for the whole cheating scandal
Starting point is 00:32:24 So she does she's the host of love island, for the whole cheating scandal. So she does. She's the host of love Island, which is like the biggest show on TV right now. Everybody's crazy over it. So she's hosting that and she is a new man and all of that. So she's doing great. I mean, shout out to her for sure to Ariana. But my point is that he's kind of trying to come back around and recoup everything because, you know, through traders and he even said, guys, I saw him say he point is that he's kind of trying to come back around and recoup everything because
Starting point is 00:32:45 you know through traitors and he even said guys I saw him say he was like I was New York Times named me the most hated man in America and I'm like wow that's come on that's hard that's hard. The most hated man. I mean for cheating you know for cheating and so then half the men in America should be the most hated men in America sorry but it's true. Why why why why yeah it's then half the men in America should be the most hated men in America sorry but it's true. Why? Why? Why? Why? It's not always the men. OJ Simpson was actually on that same list. Which okay makes a little more sense we're talking murder right like
Starting point is 00:33:18 we're like so it makes. So did OJ do it? I don't know what do you think? What do you think? You think he did it? I kind of think he did yeah and got away do it? I don't know. What do you think? What do you think? You think he did it? I kind of think he did. Yeah. And he got away with it. I think so too. I mean, remember that?
Starting point is 00:33:31 I can remember being so young and my parents just like on the TV watching the Bronco drive and we're all just watching the Bronco chase. Like that's like iconic. But then he got locked up for stealing memorabilia, right? No, I guess he did. OJ Simpson? I think so. After?
Starting point is 00:33:49 After? Why would he even do one thing wrong after he did that? 15, 20 years later, he got locked up for that. It's like he got his, I don't know, he got karma. Really? Yeah. Yeah, karma's a bitch. See that?
Starting point is 00:34:04 Like if you did it, you did it so that was that why you think yeah You think karma is a little bitch. Yeah, I mean it's true that you believe in karma me. Yeah, I do Sometimes though, but you always tell me this don't so I say oh, I'm having bad luck What do you always say like don't talk about the fact that you're having bad luck Don't believe you have a bad luck because the more you you think and you believe that you're having a bad day You're gonna have a bad month. You're having bad luck. Don't believe you have a bad luck, because the more you think and you believe that you're having a bad day, you're gonna have a bad month, you're having a bad year, don't believe it.
Starting point is 00:34:30 You're bringing your own bad luck onto you. You just gotta say, nah, I'm good. I'm gonna get through this, I'm getting through this. And just keep trucking. You can't talk about that. It's like you're bringing your own, the Maloik on you, the Italian Maloyk. Yeah, but is that true? You think you can bring it to yourself?
Starting point is 00:34:49 A hundred percent. And you know, you do, it's all in your mind anyway. If you constantly tell yourself you're doing bad, you're not doing good, you're depressed, you're going to make yourself depressed. You know? So yeah, I don't think, I don't think you should talk about I'm having a bad day. I'm having a bad month. Something's going on. Hell no. I'm going to get through all this and just keep doing it.
Starting point is 00:35:11 Listen, you're not going to not every day of your life is going to be good and everything's going to work out. It's going to be bumps in the road. It's it's a life's a roller coaster. You got to get through it, you know. Well speaking of karma, here's a question for you that I've thought about before. If you do things purely for the sake of gaining karma instead of doing it just out of like doing good, does that still work?
Starting point is 00:35:34 So it's like, oh, I'm going to do this so that good comes back to me because I think people sometimes do good things purely to gain good things back and like good karma back. Do you think that that's true? No, I just think you just got to be a good person in life and just keep going and just do what you can and that's it. I do what I can. I deal with it. Yeah, but I think some people just literally do it purposely.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Well, some people do. Yeah, but I'm not like that. I'm always trying to do the right thing and be a good person. And, you know, and I'm always grinding for myself anyway, you know. I wanted you to start crying. Like for instance, when I called you today and said, Joe, I've been in an accident. There's an ambulance here. My airbags exploded.
Starting point is 00:36:18 I wanted you to be like, I wanted you to hyperventilate. For what? I don't know. You're too calm. Like you're like, okay, I'm coming. Where are you? I'm on my way. I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no, like an ambulance airbags.
Starting point is 00:36:31 I'm stuck in the car. I'm on the ground. I'm bruised. Hello. Do you hear me? Do you got to? You got to remember something. I've been, I deal with this almost on a daily basis.
Starting point is 00:36:43 I know you get so many phone calls like this, but not your wife was in an accident phone call. Yeah, but I was able to talk to you. Hello, are you okay? Yeah, I am. You're just calm, I'm like a panicker. Like I go into complete freaking panic mode. You do, bro.
Starting point is 00:37:01 And when she panics, she gets mean too. You do, yeah. I was scared. I get, she gets mean too. You do, yeah. I was scared. I get it, but when you get scared, you get mean. You gotta chill, you gotta relax. Okay, let's reenact the proper reaction to my call when I called you today. All right, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Okay, let's see what you, reenact it, what you think I would have wanted you to say. You said everything right, you didn't say anything wrong. You're like, are you okay? Don't worry. Now call me right now. I'll call you. Okay. Okay. DT DT. Okay. Joe, I was in an accident. My airbags. I gotta say hello. Oh, all right. Say hello. Okay. Joe, I ring it ring the phone. Ring ring ring. Hello. Joe, I was just in an accident my legs are all bruised I
Starting point is 00:37:47 couldn't get out of the car my airbags exploded there's powder shooting at me my car is totaled there's there's gas dripping and oil dripping out of my car my legs are think I'm scared I don't think you said all that yes I did yes I did yes I did bro yes I did bro, yes I did. I don't think you said it all. What do you think I would've said, hi babe. No, no, what you did.
Starting point is 00:38:09 I'm sitting on the side of the road. Oh my God. I was like, Joe, Joe, I got an accident. And I couldn't breathe, like I couldn't breathe. That's what you did. Hello? Oh yeah, Joe, I got an accident. Yeah, like that.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Uh huh, and I said, my airbags. Yeah, my airbags. I go, wait, like that. Uh-huh, and I said, my airbags. Yeah, my airbags. I go, wait, like, okay, hold on, are you okay? Yeah, I'm okay, I'm scared, I'm this, I'm that. I'm like, but listen, the car's totaled, it's totaled. I'm like, are you, are you cut? Anything broken on you? You okay?
Starting point is 00:38:41 My legs, I hit my legs, what's the matter with your legs? I don't know, I bruised them, I hit all right so you're good yeah oh my god she's like scared I'm like okay just relax I'm like now now now cares about anything the car's totaled all right honey don't worry you're good yeah all right okay now reenact that again with the way that you think I would have liked you to react when I called and said those things. Like what do you think I would have wanted to hear from you? Exactly what I did.
Starting point is 00:39:14 No. See he's going to be like I'm perfect. Hello, ring. I got a call. Okay, no you didn't honey. You didn't. Where are you? Yay, you should be like where are you? Oh my god, my wife. I love you so much. Are you okay? Are you okay? I'm on my way. I'm on my way. Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Oh my god I'm on my way. Like that's what I wanted to hear. Really? Well shit. I wanted you to be like oh my god, Melissa I love you. Oh my god, are you okay? Are you okay? Oh my god are you okay? That's how I would have reacted cuz I'm a panicker. How about if I called you up you stupid dumbass
Starting point is 00:39:48 I would have never married that guy. Crash the car you My insurance is gonna go through the roof. I can't believe you You paying attention when you drive you're so stupid that guy's a prick. You see I don't like that guy I can't believe it, you dumbass. Pay attention! It sounds he'd be like on that list, the New York Times list, the most hated men list. That's the list he's in. The police want to talk.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Fuck the police! I don't want to talk to nobody! Tell them don't touch my car! Where's my car? How about that? Progressive Casualty Insurance Company and Affiliates price and coverage match and limited by state law not available in all states I will say the cops were that pulled me over pulled me over they I got I did not get a ticket but the
Starting point is 00:41:54 cops that came to help were great it was so hot out they kind of felt bad for me they were like you you know go sit in the cop car they were great I was like sad because I was waiting for you and like I was dying of heat. It was so hot outside. I pulled up to the cop car. I opened the door and she sat there. She looked like a little poodle, like a lost poodle. She was like, I swear to God.
Starting point is 00:42:17 She was like this. I opened the door, I'm like, you're right. She's like, ah, ah, ah. Like you lost your daddy. I am still in shock. Like I am definitely fucked up over this and my legs are killing me. And then on top of all of that and the nerves, I'm so pissed about the car and the insurance. Like that's a whole nother separate pistol.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Like I keep thinking about my car. I loved that car. I love that fucking car. Oh my God. Like I'm so upset right now. I'm just pissed. I'm pissed. I tell you man. I don't know. Ty, I just have to get it. You know what? My dad, my dad when I was younger, you know, he bought me a really nice car. Well, I bought it. He helped me, right? And I got a car accident. Somebody,
Starting point is 00:43:00 I was coming out, same thing like you, bam, hit the car. I only owned the car in three months Three months and he didn't have a lot of money. He was a shoemaker. I Called my dad up. I said Bob. I just got a car accident He goes it I go the car is pretty bad. He goes are you okay? I said, yes He goes don't worry about the car. I said, all right, I'll never forget that. That's a nice way for your. He goes, don't worry about the car.
Starting point is 00:43:32 He goes, I can replace the car. I can't replace him, my son. Yeah, I always remember that. See? Hardcore Italian guy. You know, the people who hit me or whatever were like old school Italian, like your parents. They were speaking Italian,
Starting point is 00:43:50 they had the accent and everything. I was like, where's Joe? He needs to talk to these people for me. And nope, you just kept coming far, far away you were. Thank God you weren't. Usually, sometimes you work like even further away. Good thing you were like halfway on your way home already, right? Were you on your way home? I was coming but I was 40 minutes away
Starting point is 00:44:10 Oh you were and you lied to me. See this is what is so funny. I call him and I'm like Joe come He's like, I'm on my way home and I'm like, okay, how far are you? You're like 15 minutes 50 minutes. Oh, well I heard 15. I would have called Gino. So that's why I started getting like frustrated because I'm like, where is he? Then she calls me, she's yelling at me. I go, you yelling at me, I'm coming.
Starting point is 00:44:36 No, you go, are you mad at me because you hit your car? I go, well, where the hell are you? I'm sitting on the grass. Like the whole world's driving by. Like five people called my kids. They're like, your mother got in a car accident. Your mother got in a car accident. My poor kids are calling me.
Starting point is 00:44:51 They're like, are you okay? Like they know that I got into a car accident. It was a hot mess. Well, you know what? We move on. That's it. Now we move on. I deal with all the pain.
Starting point is 00:45:04 I deal with the high insurance. I deal with the high insurance. I deal with the problems in the car. I deal with everything. That's it. I deal with it. It's going to be me dealing with it. That's all right. But you're okay. I mean, listeners, does your man do this to you? They underestimate their time for everything. I mean, I think it's such a man thing. You guys will be like 60 minutes from something and you'll always say, I'll be there in a man thing. You guys will be like 60 minutes from something and you'll always say, I'll be there in 20. You are the king of that.
Starting point is 00:45:28 No, no, no. You are the king of that. It's the same with you ladies. Are you ready? We're going out to dinner. You ready? Yeah, be ready in 30 minutes. She's like an hour and a half later.
Starting point is 00:45:39 We're always late, late. I could be gone from 5 a.m. in the morning, I come home, you're getting ready, I take a shower, I get ready, I'm sitting downstairs waiting for you while you're bitching at me, where are you, you're not home yet. I come home, I take a quick shower,
Starting point is 00:46:00 shape, boom, bop, beep, ready to go, and I'm still waiting for you, we're late. Oh, yeah, it's not true. The other day I did a whole Instagram waiting for you. So you just basically casually lie, is that like a thing? Like you're just like, if you're running late or how long it's gonna take you to get dressed or if you're on your way,
Starting point is 00:46:18 like you just casually lie about it. That's called a casual lie. I don't lie, I'm gonna just tell you, listen, I've been there 25 minutes, but I can't help this traffic. But you damn well know you're not going to be there for 45. So why are you saying 25? No, because it just got to shut you up in a little bit because you don't stop. No, you got to stop doing it. See, that's where I get nuts. Like, I'm a very type A, I need exact timing. No, because if I told you 45 minutes, then you're like, Oh my god god 45. I'd rather tell you 25 minutes
Starting point is 00:46:47 You hang up the phone and I'm on my way. Okay. How long does it take you to take a shower? Me? Take a shower? Literally five minutes. No, it's 25 max 25 and then you come down the stairs and then you forget something go back up the stairs Then you answer a phone call with another 10 minutes. You're talking about yourself. How long does it take you to take a shower? Oh, I need like an hour for not a shower But like to get myself done an hour and a half hour and a half, right? I say we're going to dinner. I say about two hours and 15 minutes. No way No way, and if we're just going to like very casual I could be done in 45 minutes. Yeah, bullshit
Starting point is 00:47:25 That's that's that's three hours, which weird is when you go casual you take longer All right I got one because this one pisses me off to how long does take you to go to the gym Joe? We for dinner you like hold on. I need to work out. I'm just gonna run to the gym I'll be right back and do a 30-minute pump. I'll be right back You know how long does that take you Joe the most annoying thing is with you first of all it takes 15 minutes to get to the gym. No it takes 10 minutes. Then you gotta work out and warm up a little. You work out. I mean but I'm not even done the phone starts ringing. Where are you? What are you? When are you? Like
Starting point is 00:47:58 give me my time. I need my time. No but this is what happens. Just give me one hour. I don't call you when you go to the gym. Do I call you and bother you? No, because I go to the gym at a normal hour during the day. You go at dinner time. I go to work. You have the luxury of going during the day. You're blessed to go during the day.
Starting point is 00:48:20 But when you go to the gym, I don't call you when you're in the gym because I know you're in the gym. Because you're not waiting for dinner. You're not sitting there with hot food like let's go. It's time to eat It's like sometimes I get done with the gym. I'm just get in the car bang the phone rings It's like you time me. It's like you what do you just time? Okay, let me see guys are 48 minutes. Let me call them There you go. Hello. Yeah, I just got in the car, Melissa. I'm coming home, relax. That's crazy, whatever. But you see guys, I know I'm not the only one
Starting point is 00:48:52 that your husbands or your partners, they lie, they lie about how long they're gonna be. That is a white casual lie. I don't care what anyone says. Melissa, you said you're such a liar. I'm like, I'm not a liar. Or you lie, I don't know. That's a lie, that's a lie. I don't like a lie, that's a lie. Why, just don't tell what you say. You're such a liar. I'm like, I'm not a liar. You are. You lie.
Starting point is 00:49:05 That's a lie. That's a lie. I don't like a lie. That's a lie. Just don't tell you everything because you're gonna annoy the shit out of me. Anyway guys, thank you for joining me today. I am so happy that I was able to jump on even though my podcast producer Brett tried to talk me out of it.
Starting point is 00:49:21 He's like, you just got in a car accident. You're tired. You're shaking up. I'm like, it's okay. I didn't wanna leave you guys for two weeks with no episode because next week we're dark. It's 4th of July and I hope everyone has an amazing 4th of July. I love 4th of July.
Starting point is 00:49:35 I'm a big 4th of July girl. So, yeah, everyone enjoy it. We should go upstairs and do our own 4th of July. Oh my God, that's exactly the mood I'm in right now. Like, oh yeah. I think you need to massage my legs if you have any brain. That's what you should do. You're rolling my car and now you're gonna roll my knife.
