Yeah, it's Saturday.
What's up everyone? Welcome to another episode of Melissa Gorga on display.
First and foremost, happy new year everyone. It's 2023.
Never thought it would be 2023. Remember the song like,
we eat a party like it's 1999.
1999.
Yeah.
Yeah, you just got time right in again, right?
Never let me introduce you.
Oh, here we go.
It's just like such you're a ham.
You're such a ham.
A ham.
I love ham.
Guys, I got Joe Gorgah with me again today.
Hi, Joe.
Hey, hey, hey hey happy new year to the
listeners.
Melissa nurse. Yeah.
The Melissa nurse. No, I know. Wait, what about that song though? Wasn't it so good, Prince
gonna party like it's 19. Yeah. And it felt like 1999 was never gonna come.
Who would it's like 2023? I can't believe how fast the months and the years
are going.
I know.
No, really?
No, it's me and we're getting old.
We're getting older.
We're getting older.
We're getting older.
Everybody's getting older.
It just happened so fast.
Every week, I'm like, it's already Friday.
It's Friday.
I will say that the weeks like really go.
Fly.
Yeah.
They like fly now.
Yeah.
Every time I turn around it's Friday.
Sucks. I don't know. It is crazy.
But you know what? You know what I think? I'm just getting better with age. I'm just it's like a fine
one. I'm just aging nice. You are aging pretty nicely. Pretty good. I bet. Yeah. I get
hotter now than when I first met you because if I look back at like old seasons of housewives and
stuff, I'm like, yeah, but but but but I'm going to say the same thing. Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on.
I'm going to say, I'll hold on. Joey Gorgas calling thing. Hold on, hold on, hold on.
I'm gonna say, I-
Hold on, Joey Gorgas calling us.
Let's see if he says anything interesting.
Hello.
Where are you?
Oh, really?
How about, hi mom, I love you.
No?
I am filming a podcast.
Where are you?
Joey, say hi to, just say hi to everyone.
Say, happy new year to everyone too.
Happy new year. I'll be home in like an hour
or two. Say bye, my listener. Joey, Joey, who's the favorite, who's your favorite
parent? Mommy or daddy? He? Ah, he's smart. You see? I'm believe it. You know, my
parents just do that to me all the time. Do to me and my sister who who do you if who you
Want to be with you know mommy and daddy get divorced who you're gonna go who do you want to stay with who you like the better and
We always put us on a spot unbelievable. Yeah, they would never none of them really answer
I will say that I think you know
I know who your favorite is I feel like you have a favor
I will say it because they listen like if they listen to this
No, you're you're you're you're all think you have a favorite too. I know that you have a favor. I won't say it because they listen like if they listen to this No, you you're you're you're you think you have a favorite too. I know that you have a faith no because I
Love all my children the same. I know you do you do love them all I do all tend to like like if they're two sports activities
Going on. I know which child you would pick to go it depends no
I
The she's gonna say listen my son
Well, it depends. No, I, and she's gonna say listen, my son,
Gino had a wrestling match. He's a freshman in high school.
Joey is 12 years old. He's a lacrosse game.
And he had a let, but it's not lacrosse season.
And it's only like a Friday night. It's no big deal.
It's, it's actually, it's, it's, I don't care.
It's really not that kind of lacrosse game.
So it's like, almost they just put it together.
So my son,
hold on. Let me finish with Gino sport because he's a freshman. And Gino constantly calls
me and says, Dad, you're coming, you're coming. My matches at this time might, you know,
he's he's into it. He's into it. He wants me there. Joey basically, this wasn't really,
if it was a football game or let's say lacrosse season and he was into a
Big lacrosse game. Yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go save Joe good
No, but I am I'm even more and when Joey's a freshman
I will be there everything every game on a freshman just because you know
I got to support him. I got to be there and every time they it's so important to support your children
to be there. And every time they, it's so important to support your children in sports because every time they do something in, in a, they make a great player, they always look for
you. They do. That is one thing I always remember. That's what I, like one of my vivid memories
of my father is that he was at every one of my, and he only had girls. We were three
girls. He was at every one of my cheer competitions with a big one of those big VCR like those camcorders
Yeah, back in the day he videoed every one of my cheer comps which to me
I remember that is like something that I'll I remember yeah, it's like even like you know
Would you know the other day in wrestling and we just make eye contact if he does something wrong or if he's your kids look for your approval
Doesn't matter if they they let's say they beat the best kid or they scored touchdowns or they they hit that goal
They turn around and they look for their parents
So parents out there is so important go support your children. It means everything to them
It really does, but where are you gonna say that your parent advice for the day?
I do I mean I mean because it's so important. When I was in sports, I looked for my parents.
Well, I do think that's great advice. The truth is kids are always going to miss out on their
kids. And some parents, they can't be at everything, right? Because they work nights or they work
weekends or and it and that hurts them. But like, yes, the more things you can attend to watch
your kids, especially when they're in sports and activities.
Obviously, yes, the better.
You know what else was great?
I showed up to this, um, um,
Frank Alex was, was wrestling mop, though.
And we, we came from mop, though, we were there for 16 years.
And I was, I was a wrestling coach and a football coach.
And I came up with all those kids.
They're on high school now.
They all knew you.
Oh, it felt so good. They all come up
They came up to me coach coach. They shook my hand gave me a hug coach was kind of like oh look at you
I don't recognize look how big you got what are you doing now?
It's just they gave me so much respect because of coach. It felt it felt really good
I know why don't you coach anymore, Joe? What happened to coach Joe because it changed we moved to another town and it's harder
Because once you're not in from the beginning
They don't like light yet. Yeah, right? I mean, I could have got in but it's they they have their
They're their their siege and and I got to work too hard to get in so it doesn't matter
Well with wrestling jumping on 2023, right? We just went to a rubah. We had the best we had the best vacation
Would you say I love it? I love a rubah. It's so beautiful, the weather's amazing,
it's a safe town, city, whatever you want to call it.
Yeah, it's like a tradition for us now.
We have like a small group of like friends
and some of my family that we go with every year
and the kids have an amazing time,
the adults have an amazing time.
We rang it in right, right?
We were on the beach, we were drinking champagne,
the kids were dancing. You know what was great is that when you get with a group that
all gets along and it's like we're gonna go, let's say we're gonna go surfing. Okay, let's all
go surfing. We're gonna go to this restaurant. Okay, let's all go to this restaurant. It's like
no one. Well, you have to, this is what, this is a good subject, right? You need to travel guys with
people who are like you. So there's always like different types of travelers, right? You need to travel guys with people who are like you. So there's always
like different types of travelers, right? But you need to find your group of friends who travel
like you. You can have a set of friends that you guys go to dinner with on like a Tuesday night
or a Saturday night and like, but they would never be your travel friends. The travel friends
are a whole different beast. Trust me. Like that's a very serious topic
in conversation. You do not want to pay money to go on a on a vacation and
travel with people whom are not like you, right? Because what is the worst? It's
the worst. So like, and we've had to wean out people, I would say throughout
the years, who if we if we get if we allow one or two in that are not like us or that are a little
There are no any shit in her
Or like can't get themselves together and hang all day and get up and get dressed and go to dinner at night and just keep up with our speed
We're like, yep, you're out. You're not in like we listen. They're still our very good friends
They're just not our travel friends travel friends are are important. I mean, come on guys, listening out there.
You guys know what I'm saying.
Like, you have definitely picked a couple or two
to go on a vacation with and you loved them,
but by the time you spent those seven days with them,
you were like, you know what?
We're gonna see them on a Tuesday.
We're never going on vacation with them again.
There's always like, either the,
and it's hard, right?
Because with us, it's like husbands and wives.
There's always like, it's two people. And it with us it's like husbands and wives. There's always like it's two people and it's kind of just like well
how do you handle your children on vacation? That's a big thing. We all need to be in agreement as
to like tonight's a kids night. Tonight's not a kids night right and it needs to be on the same page.
You can't have the one couple that's like oh no I take my two year old out to the fancy dinner
every single night while they
cry and wish they were in bed. Well, no, then you're not for me. You need to go on a trip
with someone else.
Yes, yes, yes. Like, we have our children's nights planned and we have our adults nights
planned.
Can we just talk for a second? So we go to a rubah by the way? Yes, we have the best time. We really did enjoy it
So we get back from a rubah, okay, and Gino has because I want to jump back since we started talking about
Wrestling for a minute Gino has like a bunch of wrestling matches this week, right?
So we've already went to he had at least two or three I go with Joe to the first one
Just to get on this subject of
wrestling for a second, it is like one of those things where and you just saw what just happened
with this NFL guy. Yeah, Demar Hamlin, for the Buffalo Bills. Exactly. I mean, so sad.
Wow, that was crazy. So sad. I've never, we happen to actually be just live watching the game.
Yeah. And I have never seen anything like that. And my heart and my prayer go out to him
and his family to everyone because that is so so so so scary. I mean see how your life can change.
Oh yeah instantly. And you know what I you know what I respect. I really respect the coach
of the Buffalo Bills and the NFL to stop that game. I respect that. Right. I really think
God they stopped. I mean the way to coach acted God they stopped. I mean, the way to coach
acted, he was like, listen, I'm not no way the players were upset, crying. I respect the NFL for
doing it. I really do. Yeah. Well, they had to stop it. They could never in a million years keep
that game going. It would be that would be horrendous. First of all, and that guy was majorly,
majorly. He was really hurt. And he still, I think he's doing better now.
Right? He's doing better.
He's cardiac arrest.
Yes.
Took it to a heart.
You know, they say in baseball and hockey, if you take a baseball to the chest, that's
the same thing happens.
Your heart can stop.
It's scary.
No.
And that just goes into like parents and sports, by the way.
And the fact that we even let Geno wrestle and Geno and Joey both play football. And you know, it's scary. Listen, it's always a risk.
It's always scary as a parent. And I have to say just I can guarantee you just watching that game.
How many parents decided my child is never playing football. Yeah, but it's the same thing you put
your son. He gets on that lecture scooter to say that he can fall. It's always dangerous. A bike just in a car with us driving, it can happen any day.
He playing in the playground.
You have your voluntarily signing a child up, right?
They need to do something that is dangerous.
Football is dangerous wrestling, by the way, is dangerous.
What I was just going to say to you about that is going to watch Gino the other day.
I literally did not enjoy it.
Like I don't enjoy watching wrestling.
It's like a mini heart attack.
It's at first of all to see your son
who no matter how strong or muscular or whatever he is,
Geno's a pretty tough kid, right?
To see him go head to head with another kid
that looks like they're about to fight.
I don't know how else to say it. I literally
put my hand literally right, Joe, my head is in my hand. I barely watch. I'm panting
the whole time. Do I enjoy it? Do you think I you don't know? I don't enjoy it to the
point that I didn't come back with you this week to the second one. I know. Rip his
arm off. I kill it. I kill it. Let's go. No what you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you
yell all the moves. Well, yeah, I'm yelling the moves. But what happens is it's a one on
one sport. And it's kind of teaching you to go out there in life. And that's what it is
about. It, like, wrestling taught me had to have more confidence. Oh, for short, listen, it's not a team.
That is like a one on one.
That has to, they say it makes a man like no other wrestling
because it teaches you had a battle, something or someone,
one on one opposed to having a team back.
You have to.
100% I agree with.
And you're out there by yourself.
When they have his arm wrapped behind them in this thing
where I feel like it's going to pop out of the socket at any moment and
I can't I just can't watch it. I'm like
I'm getting to the point that I'm like not and I used to enjoy when they were little
But then you have some moms there going insane like they want to fight they want to fight the other parent
Oh, yeah, there is and they're so put together the moms
They just get into a mel when their son's wrestling. Then you have
moms like you, you can't even watch it. It's just it's a crazy
sport. It really is. But every sport is we have one mom friend
on our team that she screams so loud. Her son's name like a
savage. Like she just goes in the mode. Like she doesn't, she's
in a different, like she doesn't even know what she's doing.
She's just screaming the whole time.
I love every sport.
I love soccer, football, baseball, everything.
Cause you have a coach, you have to go,
you have to be somewhere at a certain time, you have to do,
you have to run laps, you have to do this,
you got to respect, you got to listen,
you got to, it's just sports are very good for everyone.
Of course.
No, listen, we are huge advocates for raising athletes. I mean, that is what we are we've done all of our children have been in some type of sports since they're two and a half years old from
even including in Tonya, whether it be gymnastics or we had the boys by first grade in flag football. I mean, we always we truly believe in that and makes them, you know, instead of playing the video games all day, they have to be somewhere, they have to answer.
I like the way that they also have to speak to another adult properly without it being
their parents.
They have to learn how to, you know, talk to their coach, how to negotiate with their
coach, how to shake their coach.
Right, respect them, shake their hand, look at them in the eyes.
Like, I'm a huge, and I know that I'm not saying sports
or everything. And there's some kids out there that are just not sports kids, right? But there is
just something about sports that is so great for a sense of leadership. It brings you back to
business, which is another thing that I want to talk to you about right now because it's 2023,
right? And it's like, I wanna talk about some business goals
that you and I have and maybe some business goals.
Listen, by the way, Joe, a lot of people, okay,
talk to me about you with real estate.
They, I don't, I think they forget a lot of the time
that you know you're not just a reality star
or like a reality husband.
So I would like to get into it
Just a little bit with you today
About like what you do outside of being a reality star because I think people forget and myself included like yes
Like I do own envy right and I have business goals like it's 2023
So my my business brain is thinking okay, envy is doing well, right?
It's doing this this this, and this.
But like, how for the next year moving forward,
how do I elevate it?
So how do we take NV up one notch
from what it already is?
What do we do?
What do I do with that?
So like last year, what did I do?
I opened a larger store in a better town, right?
That's what I did.
So now, what am I doing this year to level up envy and expand
it or make it a little bit better this year?
I can tell you. Here's what you do. You gotta find another location. Find three, four,
five, ten locations. This is what it's a lot of work, but this is what an entrepreneur
does. You take risks in life. While you have something good, which envy right now is
very good, you got to
start growing envy every you don't want to have a job the rest of your life you want something that
you can take and sell like you want a company you want to take this company one day and sell it
for a hundred million two hundred million three hundred million that's your goal or you want to
get up every day and have a job I don't want to have a job you know when I first started uh
and have a job. I don't wanna have a job.
You know, when I first started flipping houses,
I was a landscaper and I got up every day
and I was, you know, I cut grass, I cut trees,
I did beautiful landscaping,
ponds and waterfalls and pools
and I did all those backyards and I said,
listen, one day I need to retire.
I need to get, I need to make monthly income.
So I started buying two family homes
and and and I took the risk and when I bought my first house I didn't have the money. I didn't have the money. I borrowed the money
or for hard money lender, which I paid at 20 something percent, but I took the risk just like the guy that created Starbucks, you know,
I want to sell a cup of coffee for six dollars. Who's gonna buy a cup of coffee for six dollars? Go to Starbucks right now. There's lines down the street. Now you go you go
Yeah, you go to about you buy a cup of coffee and and and a bun over there. You spent 19 dollars. I mean, it's insane
Right, but he had a vision and he made it happen now that he wanted the booze the booze coffee right and and you
But you have to an entrepreneur is an entrepreneur, you
got to throw enough things against the wall, not everything's going to stick. You might
throw 10 things against the wall, nine of them for, but that one at sticks. Here you go. You're
making money. So now you have. I get on you. I actually do get on you a lot for that because
you are that guy who will listen to ideas. If someone presents something
to you, you are like wide open. You do listen. You've actually listened. And we've kind of
queues on the real size of New Jersey a couple times for this. Like people actually not believing.
Like they think that you're doing things as fake storylines opposed to like no one really
knows you. And it's like no, no, no, no no no no don't get it twisted Joe was really opening every single one of these
businesses and the thing is sometimes you hit and sometimes you miss and
sometimes you you what I will say you've done wrong is maybe rushed it once or
twice because we do it so that way the cameras can capture like the gist of it.
And it wasn't the right scenario.
Or it wasn't the right situation.
We've had bad business partners at restaurant.
Right.
But people think that that was like just a made up thing
that we like sat down one day and said,
let's fake that we're going to like they believe that.
They also believe that like you remember in the beginning,
there was something else. I don't remember. There was something else that we were going to, like they believe that they also believe that like you remember in the beginning, there was something else. I don't remember
there was something else that we were going to do that they just don't believe that you're guys. Let me be the first one to tell you that this man is going to listen to you. He is an entrepreneur in every aspect of the words toolfault. Joe, where you're like sometimes he needs me to step in and be like hold on., like, who are you? And what are you trying to like sell us right now?
Because I'm a little rougher, I'm a little tougher
where Joe will listen to you quicker than I will.
Is that fair to say?
Well, when I first met Melissa, I would talk to like,
let's say this loser guy, let's just say,
and he would talk to me about a business idea or a real estate deal
And he was really a loser and Melissa come up to me and she's like listen that guy is a bum that guy
I know that guy. He's he's garbage. He's a but I'm and then but then I said I said no, no, no
No, those are the guys you want to listen to because they don't have the money to buy that deal
So they're gonna give you those good deals and every loser and bum that I listen to, I buy that
deal that they can't afford and I give them a finders fee. So don't ex anyone out. You
listen to everyone and I'm see I'm an entrepreneur. Melissa likes to keep the money in the bank.
She's like, what are you doing? She fights me. Keep it tight. Yeah. She likes to see money in the bank. I don't like money in the bank.
I don't want to, if I get $10,000, I'm rolling it. I'm going to put it on the street and I'm going to
make 20, 30, 50, $100,000. That is my goal. He likes to invest. Joe wants to take, he doesn't want to
see money sit there. He doesn't believe and that's the way to make money. Joe likes to take the money and invest it into something
that's going to make more money constantly. Oh, it's constantly. Where I'm like, I just want
to watch the money pile up. Yeah, but watch the money pile up. It sits in your account, right?
And the bank only pays you 1%. 1% out of then you get taxed on us and you make no money.
What's this? You make no money. So then hold on choosing your vacation partner
This is this is where we're different, but let me finish yeah, but you know
You'll sit there the money makes no money
But then what happens in 10 years things can change things change business change life changes
Then you dip into that money and you're paying your bills and you live in life and your business
I might not be making what it does I look at, take that money and let that money make money every month.
I like that passive income.
I like monthly income because, you know, when I, again, let's go.
Well, that's what you do for a living.
That's what I do.
But you, you, you own apartment buildings and collect rent.
Yes.
So everyone out there should apartment buildings would do you own right now? I don't know. I'm not, that's not that. You don't want it to scut. Oh, so everyone out there should- There are apartment buildings would do your own right now.
I don't know, I'm not, that's not that.
But you don't want it to scut, oh, look at that.
No.
Shy, finally.
No, I got big balls too
but
But listen what you have to do I so me and my wife we fight all the time stop it
Why are you buying another she's the first woman that complains about buying real estate buying?
I'm making her more money. I'm making a richer. I'm I'm giving you a foundation in life
Like if I passed away, you're good. You're good right now. You're good off me as well. No, you're good.
What did you say to me the other day that you're going to get a life insurance
policy on me. That's kind of I should know. I mean and then we go on vacation
or maybe not. No, no, no, no. Because I've always had one on you, but you don't have one on me.
So let's just because that for a second with couples Like is it that do you guys both have one let me know in my deans?
Yeah, what both have insurance life insurance policy on each other?
I got I got to touch this subject because when I first met my
Policy's not enough. I need to up it the one I had. When I first met Melissa, she moved in.
I think we were together.
Wait, were you married yet?
We were, I was pregnant.
Okay, she's pregnant.
Well, you're married.
We were married.
She's pregnant.
I come home and I, there's a nurse in the house.
I go, who's this?
Oh, she's ready to take my blood.
I'm going to take my blood for what?
Oh, life insurance.
I said, what are you?
She was setting herself up.
She's like, this guy, I'm going to get a life. I was shocked. I go, look are you? She was setting herself up. She's like, this guy, I gotta get a life I was shocked.
I go, look at this woman.
I am pregnant.
I lost my father.
I watched my mother suffer.
I lost my father at a very young age.
I was like, this is probably seven.
I had a pretty big belly.
He walks in from work.
There's a doctor, a little, no, she was a nurse.
Just waiting to be there to prick his little
Vains and he looked at me like I had ten hands. I was like what is there a problem? We're gonna get you a little life In short, but you see what I do. I know no argument guys. I said okay
Here you go easy with me that way. I will say I mean that way we've always worked good together like we don't
We don't argue about like major things. We argue about the stupidity.
I tell you, I tell you the difference
between a man and a woman that just starts making money.
Hold on, no, let's talk about this.
Melissa was just staying at home at stay at home mom.
Right, came into my life, whatever you wanted here.
I was a college girl, whatever you came in.
What? And no, and you were, you were gonna be a teacher you were a teacher
You're about to be a teacher what I'm trying to say is like I as a man
This is what a man has to do because we have children we have wives. We have to start our life, right?
This is for me. I'm talking about me. I don't I'm talking about every other man out there woman
I'm just a me as a man
So because yesterday my wife goes what are you doing?
It's Sunday. Go what do you mean? I want to relax. She goes no you're not. She goes you're
going to put all the Christmas shit away. You're going to I'm like way way way. I want a chill out.
Can I have a cup of coffee and chill out? She's like no no no. I said well let me go I don't
want to go outside and organize my truck and cleaning because I'm in business. It's a little messy. She goes no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no goes, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. This is not about you.
You go to work every day about you.
I go, no, no, no, no, no, no, let's straighten that out.
I don't go to work about me every day.
I go to work for my children and my wife every day.
But my vision is you leading to go to work, right?
To go to home depot.
No, there you go.
He loves the home depot. I don't know how you are not advertising for them yet because you love them. Yeah.
Yeah. Um, but anyway, so you go to work for me. You leave 6 a.m. Honey. Yeah.
And for me, you're going to work all that. I don't know. You're not, you're not doing anything at home.
My work is a grind every day. You you know what the kids have at home work?
I'm building my family and empire.
And it's not like I take my money and I go and join myself.
I don't, I'm not in a bar, I'm not in a restaurant,
I'm not buying myself all these things,
I buy my family things and I buy them more real estate
for you guys.
Right, so let me get back to where I was then.
I was making you do something on a Sunday. Yes, she was making me do something on a Sunday. I wanted
it to put around put down the Christmas because first of all, once I got back
from a Rupa, I no longer wanted to see a Christmas tree in my house. So I told you
that you were trying to tell me, now I'm going to go outside and organize my
truck, my truck some mess. So when I met my wife, I had the house, I had the
cars, I had the business had the money, right? I had the business, I had the money, right?
So you come in, stop it, let me talk.
Yeah, I had it all.
She was, you were a college girl,
you graduated, you're about to be a teacher.
And what did I have? Hold on, hold on.
I did, I have three jobs.
Let me finish, that we gotta stop.
Don't, we're not talk putting you down.
We're talking about what I had.
And it's okay, it's fine.
You met a man I had, right?
So listen, so I met you, you came in, here you go.
What do you want?
Here, you get the nicer car, you get the credit cards,
go buy whatever you want.
I took care of this as your home.
Oh, you want life insurance?
I'm gonna get, pull some blood, here you go.
I gave you everything.
Never said was mine, never said my money, I do,
never put you down, because I want everybody to listen,
is I want, because the men, listen,
men that go out there and rest, that are successful,
don't act like they're successful.
I don't act like I'm successful.
I don't always look like a hot mess. Yeah, that number one, because I'm very humble, but what I like is to enjoy my wife, my
children. It's all about them, and I go work for them. Now, Melissa starts. Wait, are you
doing this? Wait, wait, wait, what can you start ripping on? I'm not ripping you. I'm
just giving you a difference. It's not ripping. This is this is because you don't you really don't mean it
And this is this is everybody not just you
Now now Melissa starts making money many many years later. She starts
She starts making money. So only she starts making money
Another account opens up a little she starts making money? Another account opens up, little, she goes, my money.
Now hold on, stop it, stop it, stop it, stop it,
she goes, it's mine.
Then Jen, she starts questioning me, where's your money?
Hold on, stop, let me finish.
Let me see, I go, what do you mean, where's my money?
My money's here, where's your money?
I said, I just bought this building
that it's gonna make this and make that and you hold on.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Let me finish.
Hold on.
Mine is always right in the joint account.
No, no, no, no.
You have other accounts too.
That you can see.
No, no, but she's not.
We're not going to discuss.
But that's it.
No, but it's funny because.
Why can't we both see mine?
But we can't both see yours you can know because I'm investing mine to make it ten times the amount I would like to see I buy building my money my money's my money I buy buildings the size of blocks and then and then you collecting come on
I'm for the rest of your life. So that you know, so
collecting, come on them for the rest of your life. So that's my life.
So what's funny is I want to hear about,
let's DM, DM us and we go, DM us,
when you start making money.
Well, no, I think Joe, by the way, the world has changed, right?
So the millennials, the new, like,
or not even millennials are getting old now.
It's the new, I'm a millennial.
There is the new disease or whatever.
I don't know, the new generations. But zero disease or whatever I don't know the new generations
but I'm just saying the people
who are starting to get married
now are they do do it different.
They have their bank accounts.
They don't put them together.
A lot of them have two separate bank
accounts now.
It's like they make their bank
account together when they have
like a wedding that they're getting
shared money that they put it
together, which is very normal.
And they kind of work off each others. They buy each other gifts or they like both split the rent,
right? So they'll like take a little from yours a little from mine, put it together. That's the
new wave, babe. I don't know. I'm so on the old wave where what yours is mine and what's mine is
mine. Well, you're smart. You should you're smart. It's like one of those things where your
grandfathered't.
Do you know what I'm saying?
When you bought the gym membership and it was 20 years ago and it was 29.99, you don't,
you no longer have to pay the 79.99.
I am grandfathered in to our old ways.
Well, you bet you should be.
I'm an earner.
I know how to build that money and make it.
And if I was a guy, if I was buying cars and watches and spending all
that money, I'm not saying I invest a lot of my money with you too. So there's that, let's
say. Okay. So, so, so that's one topic. Anyway, how do we get on this subject for these
poor people listening about like our, because we're trying to discuss business investing for 20 to right. I'm trying to see if it's just when I'm trying to say a real dad like me
we have no life we have no life because I go to work I give it all to my wife I
buy I flower her I make her look I want her to look like you flower me what's
flowering some may you look good you look I close because I wait a star here we go wearing an envy sweatshirt no but a real man likes his woman to
look great likes his kids to look good invests his money does it say that
you're not selfish which you're not like they're buying yourself the top of
everything and not buying nice things for your kids and your family I get it
but but sir you're like that but right But what I'm saying is people when they, you know,
and couples, you gotta work together. And you have to don't always go spend money on nonsense
invest your money because today, because tomorrow, every 10 years, things happen in life.
Businesses change, the world, you know, COVID hit. That was a big dramatic change. We're going
into a recession, you know, things change. It's not always like, let's say if you're making a
thousand dollars a week and you think that's never going to end, things change. Now you're making
$500 a week. So you just, you always got to prepare yourself for that rainy day when it's coming.
Well, that's why I like to watch the money pile up.
But where's your rainy day?
No, no, no.
The money's fine.
Don't worry about that.
You have to create investment.
You need money coming in at every angle.
You need monthly income coming in.
Where are we now?
We're in your office.
You're paying rent to someone to this office right now.
This building here will stay here while outlive, while live your children, their children, this
building would be here for hundreds and hundreds of years
collecting rent. So what you're saying is that if people can
invest in real estate, that's the humdinger of the world.
Best thing you can possibly do. Okay, which is fair, this
building like right now, I'm sitting here, I write a check
right to pay rent here at my podcast office. And whoever owns this is going to be the best.
You know who owns it, right?
No, no, whoever owns this, their parents left them to this.
Right, left them this.
Yes.
And they're working here.
We know that, right?
So, and this, they'll leave it to their children.
You're going to leave all our buildings to work with.
To our children, of course, that's what I'm doing for them.
Okay, but why can't you?
My parents, they sell them in one of your ships and a I'm doing for them. Okay, but why can't I sell them in my parents ship in a yacht like so?
No, no, no, my parents passed away and rest of the show,
they worked hard.
You know what they taught me?
But they gave me was to be a man and go to work.
And they didn't have any money, but it's okay.
That's okay.
But they gave me so much love and work ethic.
And that's what I'm proud
But I have to touch on one other thing that I we were at I did this really is bothering me so much What and we were at a we were at our our our daughter and sons football and cheerleading dinner yesterday
And we're sitting and we're sitting online right we're getting the coffee. Okay, we're gonna start talking about sex. Hold on. This podcast today was about
business and everything else. This is business. This is business. This is not
business. I know exactly what you're gonna say. I don't see how that has to do
with this topic of conversation because we're talking about relationship
about investing and real and how to be in family in this and then this is driving me crazy all day
I couldn't think I woke up during the night and I thought of this
You're just gonna embarrass yourself because you're wrong anyway. I'm wrong
You are and I would guarantee you that if we did a little DM poll, which I will do on Instagram after this episode,
you will lose and I'm gonna make it public.
I'm gonna say team Joe, team Melissa on this one
and they were totally say team Melissa.
I know it for a fact.
She's not talking to one of our online waiting
for the food you're at the cheer banquet yesterday
for both your banquet.
And Melissa was talking to a woman in an eye.
Well, she's like kind of like a woman. Our a friend our friend. We never heard her son. Yeah. And her
husband was not there because he wasn't feeling well. So she was there without
her husband. We were just chatting with her waiting in line for our
eggplant roll and teeny. I walked in on the conversation. But go ahead. You did?
Yeah. I wasn't there. When you guys started. I was just saying about her husband.
She's like, oh, you know, and he reminds me yesterday.
Like, he reminded me that it's Saturday.
And I'm like, huh?
She's like, you know, how did you start the conversation?
You remind me.
You know, he listens to this podcast, right?
I just want you to know because he tells me when I see him
on the bleachers, I love your podcast.
I got that.
I want him to hear this too. So then
how did that conversation start between you two? Like how did you get into it? We were just talking.
I said, where's your husband? Yada, yada, yada, yada. I don't know. We started getting into that.
Oh, we were talking about another mom. We know who is single that is dating someone in town. We're
doing a little gossip thing. Okay. So now you're single and you're dating and then I'm sure she's
going around. So she got into the fact that her husband's sick
and she wasn't mad at it because he reminded her
that it was Saturday and that, you know,
what happens on Saturdays.
So I started giggling and this is when Joe gets walks
right up to get his eggplant roll and teeny as well.
And he's like, wait, wait, wait, he jumps right
in the conversation and I'm giggling at her because I was like,
oh wait, so you guys have like a set day for sex?
Like it's Saturdays.
She's like, oh yeah, it's like once a week,
every Saturday and she's like, and you know this guy,
and she's funny the way she talks.
She's, she's a great woman.
She goes, I could cut my arm off.
She's very funny.
She goes, you know, and he has to remind me
on Saturday morning, like, it's Saturday,
like I know it's Saturday. She goes
she goes I don't want it. I don't care. I don't care. Less if I if I ever got for big
out of the boys I would never remarry like a lot of women say that though. And I go
wait wait wait wait I go stop it stop it you're telling me if you got a divorce you would
be all alone she goes no no no no I'd be with my dogs and I'll be happy
And I I'm gonna call bullshit on that I am what I'm gonna say is my point to this conversation as I hear this all the time
When people in relationships they complain about the other people
It's men that could plan about their wives and
wives can plan about their husband and to me I
Get very upset with that because let's I'm sitting here across a woman that I've been together
I've been we've been together for 18 years and I cherish every moment because I look at you
I'm like wow I've been with you 18 years and I'm looking at her guys right now and looking at her
18 years and I'm looking at her guys right now and looking at where she's smiling and I'm like I've been with you
18 years so I cherish that every moment. I don't sit there as she sucks. She nags which Melissa nags at everything I know she you do you now you're a typical Nacker if you break my balls
She says the weirdest shit sometimes you're a a typical. I say it's a weird thing. You'll say nasty things, but I still look at you.
I'm like, hi babe, I love you.
How about saying hello?
How about being like, and then I kiss her and I grab her
and I touch her and I grab her.
You put my bag guys on, I let you rip me.
Hold on.
I want to rip them back, but I'm trying to.
But you can't because you listen, that's, it's typical.
Listen, it's in your nature.
It's in them.
It's no, but it is.
But we were talking about the way that we finished.
Let me finish.
You got off some.
No, because then what I try to do is I keep it cute.
You do, then she goes, she does the flow.
And I like sex, you know, normal is four days a week.
No, we know what you do.
You need, and what it does, no, three to four days,
and what it does is it keeps you do. You need and what it does. No, three to four days. And what it does is it
keeps you closer. It keeps you walking by each other, holding, grabbing each other in
the kitchen. It's cute. Okay. Ladies, I'm going to interrupt him for a second because
I know you want to grab him by his neck right now. Joe, why? But if three to four days a
week is not acceptable, it is way too much, especially for a working mom. And even if you're
not a working mom, a mom with children, it is way too much for not all for most women
would tell you you are out of your freaking mind. Okay, hold on. So now let's say you were
single or you got divorced, right? And now you're alone in your own. It kind of sucks.
You go out and everybody you're trying to to go out with somebody and you can't go out
because the other girls are out with,
or they're married, or your friends
or they're with somebody on a date.
And you're all alone.
So now you're starting to get lonely, right?
So now you meet a guy.
You meet a guy.
You go on that swipe, you go on that Tinder
and you swipe, swipe, swipe, until you meet somebody.
Or you cut it apart and you meet somebody,
somebody hooks you up.
Now the guy, you're like, oh, he's cute
He's nice. Oh my god. Oh, yeah, and you have a fun. Now he wants to have sex. You're gonna have sex
Eventually if you're attracted, what is half to do with that?
I am talking about a husband and a wife that are married with children and possibly
But why should the husband suffer?
But why should the new man get sex three days a week or four days a week? Why not keep that really if you're together 18 years 20 years 20 years 20 years to 55 years
Whatever
Each other I'm just gonna go on with
Isn't a little nicer once a week because it's like one that really counts. It's definitely like
Quality over quantity. No, sometimes you need to listen.
Here's what it is.
Like you'd rather just have like a hold on real quick one, two, three.
Sticky, because the little quickies.
And over, go to the side.
What?
Yeah, because the little quickie things are like, you know, if you're, you got to remember, you got to go back to the single days.
Did you ever have a quickie somewhere with someone?
Yeah.
I'm still thinking about our friends who literally the guy wakes up on a Saturday morning and he's like
Funny, but you know what that feels like for a man to say all right, I gotta wait till Saturday
I gotta wait till Saturday. I know a lot of people just you know close to us as well that also wait till Saturday
No, my sister will tell you my one sister and she's so obsessed with her husband
So she will not care that I'm talking about her
She doesn't have sex three or four days. She does. Yeah, she does. She has quality
One sleepy twice and she's very happy
Yeah, but she when she when she gives the sex it's crude. Oh my god
Shut your mouth. Yeah hold on. I pulled up statistics. I just want to say according to a 20 she's on a Google right now guys
According to a 2020 USA today article, okay?
How much sex should a couple have three days? Okay
once a week is a common baseline
expert say that's
statistic to pen slightly on age
40 to 50 year olds tend to fall around
that baseline of once a week
while 20 to 30 year olds tend
to average around twice a week.
So there you son of a bitch.
You are way out of the ball
part with three or four,
whether you're 20, 30, 40 or 50
twice a week average for 20 to 30 year olds.
That's why I say, that's why I look what you just said to me.
You're looking good.
The women should know when they say your husband, he loves you so much.
He's so good to you.
He's obsessed with you.
You know what?
You know what?
I'm too good to you, I think.
I give into you all of your like, honey,
I love you, honey, why aren't you, honey?
You try, and you don't have to start to notice about you.
You used to fool me, you don't fool me anymore,
I got your number now.
What?
I'm noticing, I think it was a fool as a child.
Shut up.
Yeah, I notice what you do now.
I know what you're gonna say.
I notice that, I've been calling you out on it too lately
and I'm getting very annoyed at this, actually. You're ass. You, okay, by the way, you know what you've been calling you out on it too lately and I'm getting very annoyed at this actually you
Okay, by the way, you know what you've been doing lately. We'll be sitting there having dinner and he knows it's like
The every other day type of thing where it's like if he gives me a day or two then he'll be like oh, it's definitely time
He'll just look at me and be like you are so beautiful
You are but he says it at that moment. You are.
You are.
You are.
You are at that moment.
You are at that moment.
You are at that moment.
You are at that moment.
You are.
You are.
You are.
You are.
You are at that moment.
You are at that moment.
You are.
You are.
You are.
You are.
You are.
You are.
You are.
You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are. You are, you are so horny. But see that's my point. See what you just did
I've been complimenting you since a second I laid I
But hold on stop it. No, no, no, no, but see this is what couples do
This is what this is what I want to stop and I want to help everyone. They don't want your help
No, you see what you just did look at you
The way you open the fidget and you said that because you wanna have sex. No, how about saying my fucking husband just said to me.
And I've been married to this man 18 years,
we grunt every day.
And this fucking guy just said to me,
wow, I'm so beautiful.
Oh, I love him.
I hear the stories with all these girls,
they talk.
You have to stop comparing us to people
who are dating.
That's your biggest thing.
That's right.
So that's, there's my thing.
Keep dating. People keep dating people keep
Dating for the rest of your life dating according to the USA today means once or twice a week
Therefore you and I are gonna adjust our schedule. You want to kill me? No, I don't I want you to learn how to be self
Happy what's the word? What what are my looking for here?
You need to look for listen. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you that we've been 18 years. We've been so cute together
We have we have a great relationship and part of it told me and I told me okay
Well now now list is gonna start taking charge and it's gonna be okay good
We're gonna go we're gonna divorce in two years because we're gonna be so mad at each other
We're gonna be like we're gonna we might as well just be roommates. We'll just be roommates hang out
I don't want to be roommates mad at each other. We're gonna be like, we might as well just be roommates. We'll just be roommates, hang out. I don't wanna be roommates.
I'd like to look at me.
I'd love to have sex once again.
I'd be very happy to do that.
Love is beautiful.
Being together every day,
let's say I gotta be with you anyway, right?
No matter what you control me,
you tell me what to do.
You want this, you want to do this, do that.
Well, we might as well do it together in happiness.
All right, it is happiness once a week, like Saturday, at least I know that I'm, you know,
I'm 48 years old.
I'm staying in shape.
I know I'm still dating.
I'm dating.
I'm not married.
I'm dating.
I'm dating my mental for you.
Like, what do you need?
Like, why would you like, and we're going to jump off this subject in a second
because I want to talk about that.
The tease just came out for the real size of New Jersey.
And we need to discuss that.
But just to jump off, is there's a reason like you think three days is I feel like you're
pushing the word for from being totally honest for you.
Honestly, in your ideal world, you're more, you're like in every other day, you're like,
oh, it wasn't yesterday.
So that means today, do you know normal girls would laugh at you?
Like any people with laughing? There's not a Joe
I promise you there is not a ton of girls who would like jump on that train
No, because if you're not married to me, I keep it young and fresh and cute
We don't care. You're not the end goal. And what's what we do?
And that's why we we are who we are and we have to continue that we can't we can't fall
Okay, well
I think all couples should know
that whatever you're doing, you could always spice it up and try to do a little extra.
Oh my gosh. That's our advice. Our advice is not to say half more. I mean, maybe one more
day. I'm just saying, if you're looking at that guy laying on that couch, you're like,
look at that son of a bitch. Oh my god. But you fell loved one for a reason. You know, right? Come on.
All right. Well, anyway, dropping subject, because you know, it wouldn't be a podcast with
Joe Gorga unless we discuss some sexual. Well, this happened yesterday. I wouldn't
put it like, you know, you can't resist. You can't resist. But't resist but anyway guys in other news holy shit the
tease for the real housewives of New Jersey came out it's it comes out
February 7th season oh February 7th it's yeah it's like less than a month
away or exactly a month away pretty much a little less than a month away so
it's not that fun for us right I mean I'm not looking forward to it it's not it's not that fun for us, right? I mean, I'm not looking forward to it.
It's not, it's not, it's not, there's so much I want to say that I feel like I can't,
right?
And I have to refrain from saying right now because.
So let me ask you something.
Not a lot to say too much.
Can I ask you something?
Now, when this show airs on the seventh, are you going to do like recaps on it every week?
Recaps here on the screen. Yeah, going to do like recaps on it every week? Recaps here on my task.
On display. Yeah, will you talk about it?
Yeah, so I think I'm going to try to do as many as possible where because this, you know,
I come out every Thursday morning on display comes out every Thursday morning, our show
airs on Tuesday nights. So yes, I am going to try as much as possible guys because then
I will be able to recap
RHO and Jay so you will hear a lot of recaps coming up after
The premiere because it just works out well with timing and everything So we'll definitely we'll definitely do that, but it was kind of sad to watch that
It's hard for me because I hear things like at the end, right?
Like how they ended it and it's so conflicting and it makes fans think of things and it's like at the end
It's like she finally got what she wanted, right? And it's like really?
Really what I wanted or like that's kind of like what what someone has created and literally placed in our hands
That's kind of harsh words because you do come from the most loving family.
You really do.
You, you, you, you, you,
the Marco family, they're pretty amazing.
And they really, from the cousins to the nephews and the,
everybody and it's a, it's a,
I married into the most amazing, amazing, amazing.
I'll say 10 times family that love me more than a son and they
love it they all love each other and they love my best friends that I
introduce them to you that I say or like family what I can say is that that
whoever is trying to make you out to be who you are not because it's
impossible you come from this you're just It's not even your blood. It's not even your bloodstream because you come you were born this way with this
Amazing family. I'm gonna have to say it the ants the uncles they could it's it's I don't know
I'm getting chills the way I talk about it
It's just and then the brother laws brother laws that just come in from other families.
And, and, and now we've all been together and we all get along and we all love each other.
It's, it's just beautiful, man. And sometimes I think like your father, you know, really,
he passed away and he brought, like I always say to, um, you sisters, no, no, I know.
I'm not talking about, I'm not talking about I'm not talking about the problem. I say that I always think that your father brought these great men to
these great men because everybody's so cool.
And everybody respects one another.
Like who if I do better or someone else does better, no one looks in your
pocket. They they they they talk about you.
They envy you. They tell their friends, you know, and it's, and
they bring you up, which is what I'm saying.
That's why it was so hard for me to hear those words come out of her mouth saying like
she finally caught what she wanted when it's such a joke to me to hear those words.
And it was everything opposite of what I've always wanted.
And what I've always tried to do and move forward and
forgive and you'll even this season. I mean there's gonna be so much that you guys don't know until the end to be honest and
that's gonna be the hard part for me this season is you guys trying to figure out where Joe where our head is at
for Joe and I because the truth really comes out the very last episode I
would say. But it's, it's very hard for you guys to
understand. I mean, you're very upset the whole entire season,
Joe. You don't have a very happy season. I would say you
don't have a very, you're not with your family at all,
actually. It's so funny when people like to't have a very, you're not with your family at all actually.
It's so funny when people like to say like, oh you guys the Tariya Sapphire story like like we didn't even film with her this season.
It's like no, we don't even, I don't even think there's, there's maybe one scene possibly to like it's like, it's kind of funny that people just don't, they just get stuck in these like realms of like jumping on a bandwagon
and saying certain things when they have no idea what they're saying.
What cares about those people? Those people really don't, they're really miserable.
Yeah, honestly, and you, they're noise to us now. No, it's less, less, less.
You keep, you keep wasting your time. I love it. Just keep saying. That's noise.
But like, just for, for, for, for, let's just just say is there anything in the trailer that we can
address a little bit besides that that to me was annoying to hear those words because you know I'm
anything and I'm saying I'm perfect by any means or I've done nothing wrong because I have but
I've definitely been smacked around and come back for more and try it again and And when I tell you when I erase, this is one thing that I can say. When I wipe
a slate clean and say, truths were good. Like, for instance, the one thing I'll never forget is,
you know, that one Christmas that we showed when your sister got out of prison that day.
And they came right to my house for Christmas Eve. we had your parents there and Joe Judice was there
and then her and I had a talk like washing dishes in my kitchen
and I said like, we'll never,
let's never let anyone get in the way of us again.
Let's never do this again.
You know, I meant that.
Like I'm done.
That means I'm done.
I'm not mad at you for what you did last year.
Don't be mad at me for any decisions I've ever made in life.
Like I truly, that is like the one thing I'm gonna say.
When I say I'm gonna move on,
I'm not gonna be mad at you in two months, right?
For something that you did three years ago
that we already talked about,
and that we already cleared up.
It's baffling to me that so many things
are getting re-broad up right now on Instagram,
on this, of things that were from 10 years ago that that even like
Theresa and I or we've put a button on we've discussed and we've moved on
How do you like reopen them 10 years later like what world are we living?
Well, that just shows you the the type of people that are doing that are that can even bring that up is it's our misery
It's misery. No, it's their misery, it's misery, no it's sad.
There's no way.
Right, just looking.
If I sat and looked at you right now,
and said, you know what?
I'm gonna bring back up something that happened
with your sister 10 years ago that pissed me off.
I know we've talked about it 20 times already
and we've had a discussion about it 20 times already
and we know you're side and my side,
but let's discuss it again right now.
I'm on on I must be unhappy. I'm not living in a happy home because I'm looking for a problem.
See that you're miserable. You want to fight somebody you're just angry. That's what that is.
Angry and I'm not going to lie like from a lot I hear a lot of anger. A lot of anger in that
in that tease. There's a lot of anger. I'm for both sides. I see you angry. I see you upset
I'm I'm not angry. You're you're getting your miss you
You got that wrong. I'm disappointed
Yeah, I think I'll give you that I'm not angry. You always truly look disappointed. You're never angry
You're never what am I gonna get angry to me mine is disappointment
So I act a certain way because I'm disappointed. Yeah. And and even
when I hear clips come out, it's just I'm just like, why are people are just
listening to like anger? It just sounds like an angry person. But what you're mad
about what was said, what was said to you? Not mad. I'm saying the very last line. Yes.
Of the the teaser
was basically obviously,
because we did not go to the wedding.
And it said, now she, my brother and I are not together.
Something along the lines of like,
she finally got what she wanted.
Meaning you guys are not together.
Yeah, I got you.
And how, that's pretty disgusting.
So let me ask you something.
Immediate family.
And you're immediate family,
right? Uncle John, like listen, all your uncles, your aunts, how many of them, people?
My, oh my god. I don't know. There's like 30 of us. No, it's no, it's more. 40, 50. I think it's like
60. Okay. And in that number, immediate direct family. Yeah. Okay. 60.
What I have experienced at it, oh, 60 people, there is not one argument.
There is no fight with anyone.
There's no cousins fighting.
There are no aunts fighting.
There are no uncles and there's no one.
No, there's disagreements, but then there's a family that whirls around each other to say,
Oh, listen, she's upset with this.
She's a guy's talking right now. You barely heard it. And it's very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, say, oh, listen, she's upset with this. She's a good guy's talking about it right now.
And it's very, very, very, very, very, very,
because we're supportive.
We don't believe in that.
It's not how we are built.
Thank you.
You just said that.
And you, what you have taught me, being married to you,
is you have taught me to forgive.
Because as Italians, growing up in the old school,
you kind of hold grudges and you're tough in the beginning. You were. Yeah.
Yeah. Your whole family is that way. I have to say you're, you know, you're parents also did that
with your with their, they did, they were siblings, right? You were born up that way. You guys
were brought up this way and it took me a very long time. Yes to break you and I don't
You know, did you take a long time? It was you're breaking now
The last I would say last five years the first 10 years it was rough
You would hold a grudge with me when you were mad Joe. It was three days of like yeah, I would see
Yes, red for three days straight in our home. Like we just wouldn't speak for three days
and I couldn't understand that.
Like I had to teach you this.
Right.
And you wanted to talk, right?
Right.
So what you know, I have to say,
I respect you for that.
I respect you.
Well, thank you.
Yeah, I did.
That was nice.
But that's who I am.
And you know, and I know that you've watched me do that
throughout the years with your family as well. Oh yeah you took it you took it on
a chin and and you accepted it but you got you got that good heart you really do
you know but like me and you if we are you're fine you're nasty. Oh you'll fight me
boy but then you're good and you five minutes later you're gonna I'm like I
want to kill you I hate you but now I don't care now I think I'm gonna say you're gonna, I wanna kill ya, I hate ya. But now I don't care to, now, I think I'm better than you.
I am better than you lately.
I'm like, would you stop playing me?
Don't you join horn too much.
I am so.
No, but the bottom line is, I truly, I believe in forgiveness.
I've always been that way.
I believe in faith, maybe that I'm very close with God
and I have faith and I truly believe in like
When you move on with someone and call a truth you call a truth and you're gonna see
Not just pertaining to your sister
I know everyone loves to talk about real house eyes of New Jersey and just do the Gorg a Judas thing, right?
But like there's other cast members that you're gonna see this season that I get close to that I open up to that
I let in again and really truly truly truly try and once again I get slapped in
my face and it's like at what point am I the asshole right and what and so I
think you and I and I'm proud of us in so many ways and we'll get shit for it and
we'll get and there'll be plenty of shit we get, but plenty of praises that we've gotten also,
that we, it's a very different season for us guys,
because we have finally just,
we put on our big girl panties,
and we're just done with taking the bullshit.
And you will see that from Joe and I both.
We don't hold back this season.
We speak our minds.
We don't worry so much about like, oh well, what's
going to happen if we say this? We're going to cause problems. No, instead we say there are truth
more than trying to put a blanket over it. I feel like finally, because it was affecting our lives,
right? And our family, and we're just done with the toxic. And it's sad. It's like I I have learned that you can you know I'll take an
apology but it doesn't necessarily mean that I'm ever going to let you back in right so it's like
I'm fine with someone wants to apologize now. I'm fine forgiving but I I'm never going to really
want to sit down at the table with you again. I'm just not, but I'm going to be okay. I believe in forgiving,
because if you don't forgive, right, in your heart, it makes your life miserable. It keeps, again,
I'm not that way. I will forgive you. I still don't want to be near you. I don't want a relationship
with you, but I will forgive you. See, I don't like to argue with anybody anymore. I don't want to.
I really don't. I just want to be happy. Life short. I realize it's a fun time. This is the fun time. We should all be
joining life together. You know, we should be a big happy ball of fun. Yeah.
Excitement. Everything that we thought it would be when when when there was
new new husband in the mix and there was a new guy and everything we dreamed
it would be was not
what we thought, right?
So my perspective on life when I lost my mom and my dad and I saw them the shrivel
away in the hospital.
I'm like, my God.
Life is too short, man.
Let's go get along.
I don't want to be mad.
I don't want to be mad at you because I am, if I'm mad at you or I'm angry, if I'm saying
something nasty about somebody, right?
That makes me a miserable person.
I don't wanna be miserable.
Right, you know?
I don't.
But could you imagine though, even like watching
your parents all the, like then,
then fishing for reasons to be mad at,
like your other family?
For me, it's on, I'm imaginable.
Like I can't even,
I can't fat.
I can't fat, I can't fat.
It's just to me so baffling to the point of like,
I give up and I've decided our kids are getting older.
There's a lot going on in our lives.
We're picking colleges for our daughter.
We're doing all, it's like, we need to,
it's time to worry about us.
That's it.
That's it.
So on that note, guys, I'm sure we'll talk a lot more
about the Real Housewives of New Jersey every single week. We got a couple weeks to
let airs. I know that you guys are all so excited to see season 13. I can't
believe that it's still going on. Joe, thanks so much for coming on my show.
Oh, you're welcome. I'm glad I could make it a parent. I'm so
excited having you. I'm dying to have you. How about taking me out for sushi now?
How about, yeah, I'm mad.
How about taking me out for sushi now?
I'm definitely gonna take out sushi.
Okay, thank you.
All right, everyone, we love you so much.
We love you.
We will see you next week, happy 2023.
Guys, make it count.
It's a new year.
Just think if you already own a little business,
if you own something, if you work somewhere,
how could you get up to the next position?
How can you level up in 2023?
Have balls and go do it. That's what you got to do. Don't be afraid.
It's time to level up. Love you guys. Bye. Oh Yeah!
