Did you miss us guys?
It's feel like it's been like a minute here.
I have been vacationing and so have you.
And I just feel like there's been a couple of weeks since I've had a podcast.
So I'm very excited to be back with you. And of course,
if I'm coming back to you from a long break, I know you must be missing my hubby, Mr. Joe Gorgas,
as well. Yes. What's up, everybody? And so I got Joey G in the house with me tonight. It's been a
minute. Say hi to the people. What's up peeps? I love you, man. I miss you. Where were we?
We were in Florida.
We went away on Easter vacation.
We had a little dark week.
We needed a little break.
We've been working a little bit.
So we've been traveling.
We've had a dark week.
So I feel like they haven't,
we haven't talked to the people in a minute.
We always work.
We work a lot.
We work.
You gotta work.
I know.
Are we working too much is really sometimes the question. Like I wonder sometimes like,
why do we work so much? Like I get it, but I don't.
It's called life, baby. Life. Pills don't stop. They don't ever stop. You just got to keep it.
We created this life now, right? So it's like-
You got to keep that machine oiled.
Yeah, because we work a lot. Like some people look at me sideways, like my good friends
and people who know me, or even business associates
that I meet for the first time and they're new in my life,
they are flabbergasted by how much I work all day long.
They're just like, OK, call us back.
Well, you got to work.
I mean, listen, one day it's going to end
and you can't work anymore.
That's it.
But you got to work now. It's it, you know, but you gotta work now
It's crazy. We got kids. We got bills. We got life, you know, yeah
I know so whatever you got up early this morning, right? What times you got up?
I got a body at a show last night came home late last night. So I got up early, too
I think I got what time did I get home last night? Do you remember? Um, I was asleep. You were out probably party
What do you do after these shows? Well, first
off, let me ask you, how was your I was supposed to go to Joe's Joe had a comedy show last
night on Long Beach, New York, which is like somewhere out there, Long Island, right? Pretty
far out there. I thought it was closer to Jersey, but it really wasn't. So I had total
plans on going and then my Navi said something crazy like two hours or I was like, alright, I'm not gonna meet you there
It's not happening. It was took you forever to get there. Right? It took us three hours, but why it's not
It was all traffic. Yeah, it was it was it was it was a ride, but it was what a beautiful area
I tell you what a beachy area real nice. They had the Bay. They had the beachside, you know kind of remind me of a
Jersey Shore. Yes, real nice.
What's it like you and Frank Catania, three hours,
where were you, would you have a driver,
what was the deal?
Yeah, we had a driver, it was a nice van,
we were relaxed, we were laid out, we got some vodka,
we got some drinks on the way.
You were drinking vodka on the way there?
Oh, see, I don't even wanna know,
that leads me to my second question for you
Like okay, so you're drinking vodka on the way there with Frank Catania
This is one of those nights where you had two shows in a row, which you don't do that often
But you do do that sometimes I do that often. What are you talking about as much?
I prefer you not to do that always
So you're on the way there. you're drinking vodka with Frank you get there you do your first show
Are you little tipsy like how does that go like and it's the second show shit?
Because like you're tired from the first one or you have more. How does that go? No, no, I'm not
Listen, you get it. I don't ever get tipsy. I get a little you know a little bit
I guess it's a little buzz not really because you can't be tipsy
So you would you used to do your interviews on the Real Housewives of New Jersey guys fun fact
Oh, he's to sit down in the chair
you know those talking heads that we do and
I never needed a sip of alcohol for that like I was like, I had my notes and my receipts
and I wanted to keep my head clear
and remember every single thing and all my comebacks.
Joe sits there with a full, sometimes it's like Brandy,
what is that called?
Johnny Walker is like a scotch.
Sometimes it's Vodka and him and the producer
and Joe's drinking during his interviews
and it makes him not give a shit
He don't give a fuck. He says whatever he wants. He's like that was a great fun interview. I'm done
I'm like Jesus Lord help me. What did you say? Yeah, he doesn't give a shit
I don't give a shit you take it to the heart too much, but I'd be honest back then
You know, it was a little rougher, you know, right? It was with the family thing, it was crazy. So I had a drink.
Hell on earth.
Yeah, it was nuts.
Oh, you couldn't bring me back to those years,
which I get it, there's a reason and a season
for everything in life, right?
Ha ha, get that, a reason and a season?
But like, you couldn't bring me back to like,
first of all, I'm not the same girl,
so like, my answers would be very different right now. But also,
like, couldn't pay me.
Why? What do you mean? You're not different now?
Yeah, I took a lot of shit. And I did. And I know why I did it.
I'm proud. You know, I'm like, it's okay. I grew up, you grew
up, I grew up. And now I would be like, No, sorry, actually, I'm
not going to just say things to please your ass. Nope. Not
pleasing you not pleasing her not pleasing. She he but what do you think it was?
Were you just very nice? You didn't want to hurt people's feelings a fight. I'm not a fighter in the long run
I don't want to fight, you know
But but now and I would like you know, I don't want to get into this cuz a lot of this has to do with your family
Obviously, it's like I didn't want to I didn't want to keep it
going.
And I kind of had to, you know, someone has to be the bigger
person a lot of the time.
And it was a lot of times me that I would just take it, suck
it up, move on.
And like now, no, like I couldn't do that show that we
did then now because no, not happening.
Right.
We would fight till the end because I'm no shit. I'm the same way.
For all my life, I let people walk all over me because I really don't give a shit what
they're saying.
You know that, right?
I'm just so like, all right, I don't fight because of shit.
You piss me off a little with that.
You do.
In one ear and out the other.
I'm like, what did he just say?
I'm like, who cares?
Why?
Why do I piss you off? Because why?
You're passive when it comes to that because you're, you're just
you're not like you're not a pushover that I'm not calling
you, but you're very much so like, you take it from who is
coming from, which is mature of you, but also pisses me off
because like, someone will do something you're like, Melissa,
it's because they're jealous or because this, this and that.
And like it doesn't heat you up because you're like, look where it's coming from.
They just want this or they want to be like that.
Or they're saying that because of this or where I hate when you do.
I'm like, Joe, fight back.
They're saying it right to your face.
And like, it's not true.
Like it's lies and fight back.
And sometimes you would just let it roll off your shoulder
and almost let it seem like you were lying
or like someone else was telling the truth and you weren't.
And I used to get so mad.
You used to let a lot of shit go.
I don't really care because I'm very secure myself.
So they can say whatever they want.
I'm like, okay, just keep it moving.
I fight all day, argue all day.
I work all day, it's a pain in the ass.
I don't wanna argue. So I just keep it moving, babe. Yeah, all day argue all day. I work all day. It's a pain in the I don't want to I don't want to argue
You know, so I just keep it moving babe. Yeah, but not all time then sometimes you just freak out of nowhere
Yeah, because then I hold it in I hold it in I hold in and one day I just snap, you know
Yeah, it goes all right the shows last night shows last night. We're great shows are last night
I mean listen two shows are good. We don't want you to just like
Fluff it all.
Like, are you tired the second show?
Are you a little gas?
Do you have a little, are you a little less funny?
Because I know you, your eyes get red,
you drink those stupid things that I can't stand.
What are those things called?
Five hour energy.
Oh my God, the five hour power.
And first of all, it's bad for your heart.
Your brain is working faster than your mouth does.
So I can see your brain, if the people who know you,
like I know you, I don't think people in the audience
who don't know Joe Gorga personally,
they're probably just like, oh, he talks so fast
and he just gets it all out.
And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
he never speaks this quickly.
And he's talking a mile a minute.
It's part of my act.
Have you ever asked my life?
All right, but have you ever accidentally pushed
like the talk fast button on a podcast?
Oh my God, that's what Joe sounds like sometimes on stage.
No, I gotta keep people entertained.
I gotta get them in the mood.
You know, that energy up there, they love it.
And I get them going, you understand?
Oh my, don't have me.
No, but it was good.
The show was great. Listen, when you have two shows the first show is sometimes the second show comes
ever you know you're popping or sometimes you're tired you're so tired that you just
you're like all right I want to get this one over with right or but you do remember things
that you add in on the second show you definitely get a little
bit better because you're like I forgot to talk about this why didn't I bring up
that yeah you just bring up crazy stuff but every every show is a little
different because everyone in the audience is different so I was going on
this guy last night the first show was like almost all women all women is that
had to be you know it was only like three guys in a whole show I couldn't
see the other ones but there was one guy right in the front row.
His name was Corey. Well, so Corey, I don't know if you're out there
and you're going to listen to this, but I was tearing up Corey last night.
Well, that's not nice. No, no, not in a bad way, but in a good way.
He was he was part of my act. Oh, but he liked it.
Yeah, he loved that brought him on stage, too. Oh, my God.
You love to bring people on stage. show loves to bring people on stage. How about that's that's funny
Actually when we were in canada guys, we had
Such a great moment with jersey dolls. I don't know if you guys follow her on instagram
Oh my god, she was in the audience because she lives out in toronto and we pulled her up on the stage
It was so sweet and so cute. She sang for us.
She's just a doll.
You love to pull people up and have like little moments.
And I do like that.
I think it's very sweet.
And the second show, I tell you what happened,
this never happened to me.
I broke the mic.
What?
I broke it.
You yourself broke the mic?
It was a wireless mic and I'm holding it.
And you know me, I'm really, I'm active up there and I'm doing things and I
Actually our power is kicking. Yeah, and I accidentally broke the mic cuz on the bottom of the mic
There was this charger and it broke off and I'm like, oh shit
And then the whole the mic there was no other mic in the whole place. Oh, yeah. Yeah. No, so I think was it
What do you mean? How big was the place? It was big. It was big. But I'm
just saying he said one mic. So I just started, you know, I now
I have to get more louder, start running up and down the state.
Where people screaming like we can't hear you. No, no. Some of
it sometimes. Sometimes they were like, can't hear us. I
started yelling even louder. So I had to work. Thank God I didn't come. I would have like an attack. I would be like, you can't hear us. I started yelling even louder. So I had to work. I would say thank God I didn't come.
I would have like an attack.
I would be like, you know what?
This is stressing me out.
Yeah, no.
So I had to work a little harder for the second show.
So I lost my voice.
And then the show was ended.
When the show ended, everybody was partying,
like taking pictures.
And you did all that too?
Yeah, we took all pictures.
I knew it. I looked at the I was falling asleep.
I look at the clock. It's like 12.
It's like midnight.
I mean, his show started at 730 or something.
I'm like, I call his phone. He doesn't answer.
Call his phone again. He doesn't.
I'm like, this guy right now is standing at the bar
with the crowd, having a shot.
I'm like, he needs to get his ass back in the van.
Get home, he's gotta get up early in the morning.
Sure enough, he calls me, hey, yeah, I'm coming.
I'm coming, I'm like, uh-huh, come on, let's go.
This one's always attached, attached at the hip.
Well, what the hell, you gotta come home, it's late.
Yeah, so we got in a van we were starving.
What'd you guys eat? We stopped for Burger King. No you did not. We were poutin. Frank's like
give me four cheeseburgers. I go four cheeseburgers. You ate four cheeseburgers? I go dude four cheeseburgers.
I said yeah and two fries. I go holy shit shit, buddy. I mean, he's a big guy.
I could see him eating that.
Yeah, so we ate.
I ate a double cheeseburger.
So we had a, and then we passed out.
I think we were laughing a little bit.
We were saying a couple jokes,
and then I don't remember anything anymore.
Oh my God.
And then you ended up in my bed rubbing my legs.
I'm like, get off me.
It's one o'clock in the morning.
Yeah, it was late. 1.30 in the morning, you had to be. Was it 1.30? I, get off me. It's one o'clock in the morning. Yeah, it was late.
1.30 in the morning you had to be.
It was, was it 1.30?
I think it was later. It had to be
because I talked to you at midnight
and you were coming home
and you said it was like an hour and a half to get home.
So you probably got home
two o'clock in the morning last night
and you got up at what?
5.30 this morning?
5 a.m. yeah.
And now you're on my podcast.
So how tired are you?
And you haven't even eaten dinner yet.
Haven't eaten dinner.
I rocked.
That's what we do. And the night before I left at 430 in the morning
Go down the shore. We're working on the shore house times open the shore houses
That's how it goes in Jersey soon as May hits
We all start getting into the summer grind because we're not as blessed as everyone in you know
California and Florida and all these states where you just leave your outdoor
furniture out all year round.
It's like, oh my God, it's mine.
It kind of sucks, man.
It just so much work.
Are we going to move to Florida soon?
I'm feeling it in our souls.
This Jersey thing with these homes every year, the winter beats them up.
Then you're constantly working, putting money into these houses nonstop. I mean, it sucks, I'd be honest.
I like the change of seasons, but it's like,
all right, let's go, come on, season's here,
let's get working, put the money into,
close it up, close it up, now it's winter time.
It's a fucking pain in the ass, man.
It's some bullshit. Really?
It really is.
I mean, you know?
Do you smell my spray tan?
No, I wanna see.
Cause it's the only thing I hate about getting a spray tan.
If anyone could see me out there, well.
I wanna see if you got some tan lines.
I have, I have.
I love tan lines.
Man, we love tan lines.
We do.
You know my father used to say that to my mother.
He loved a tan line.
Well, I have some major ones right now because I had a stranger spray me today and I was
like, I'm not showing you the nips, girlfriend.
No?
No.
My girl who comes to my house all the time, I'll show her the nips and I'll show her the
whole shebang.
Show me the nips.
To be honest.
You show the whole shebang?
Yeah.
Shut up.
I show everything because I don't want tan lines.
You never know what kind of baby it is.
Next time you do that and you're showing a shebang
Call me over. I want to see you've seen the shebang many times. You've seen plenty of the shebang
I want to see the girl looking at you naked doing your show Joe. That's what appropriate what that's inappropriate
Yes, it is. I want to see it appropriate is what you said to my gynecologist when she was checking me and how
it is. I want to inappropriate is what you said to my gynecologist when she was checking me and how for my when
I was pregnant, very inappropriate things you need to
stay home. What did I say? I'm not repeating it. No, repeat
it. I want you to definitely now you put it out there. Now you
got to such an embarrassing story. I'll tell you the story.
Let me know. Please don't. I tell you the story. Oh my god.
No, guys, I was having my first child at the OBGYN.
You go to your first time where you're like, she's actually gonna give you the exam with
her gloves on.
You know, she has to go in a little bit, like whatever.
Joe's sitting there, the father on the chair and this is like, I'm a young-
Wait, wait, wait.
Explain the doctor, like very proper doctor.
She's a very proper, nice, explain the doctor very in it like very proper doctor proper, nice put together doctor. There's different
doctors in the world. This was a very put together one very quiet.
She wears her glasses. She dresses smart. She's not one
that you would ever like joke like you would never think this
is gonna be funny. I mean, there are definitely some doctors
like that. But this one's not one of them.
He's sitting in the chair.
She's doing the exam.
I'm 25 years old.
My first baby laying on the table.
She does what she has to do with her fingers, goes in to check.
She goes up there.
She goes up deep.
Shut, Joe.
Joe, this is inappropriate.
Checks the cervix.
Whatever she's checking, I think the word is cervix. All
you hear from Joe, the other side, sitting where the dads sit, making me jealous.
I go like this.
I want it. You think that's funny? You think that's funny? I want it to die. I'm a 25-year-old
pregnant girl.
No, no, tell them how I do it. Tell them how I really did it. I go like this.
Ooh, you're making me jealous, girl.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
She almost, Melissa almost died.
I was on the table.
She was like, he doesn't mean it.
He doesn't mean it.
That's not what I said, actually.
What did you say?
I was laying on the table and I froze.
I completely froze.
There was like silence in the room.
She didn't say a word and I just kind of laying there
and I like make eye contact with her
and I go, he's such an asshole.
My producer, Brett, he's on the,
I see him through the screen.
He's dying.
He fell off his chair.
No, that was probably one of the most,
that's when you were still,
I haven't trained you enough to be like a normal human.
Because when I first met you, you're a little like, different
like you I've definitely trained you.
How to be a little bit more what's the word proper?
What are you talking about? Do the same thing today?
No, that is so not cool. Men at home or anyone listening, girls, you would die.
Trust me, I wanted to die.
It was so ridiculous and the silence was... Okay, so next time you, a tip to the guys out there,
stay silent at the gyno appointment.
Don't speak and especially don't say, you're making me jealous.
You're making me jealous. You're making me jealous.
Please.
Oh Lord.

I feel like people were in my DMs.
People were kind of shocked that I reposted the flyer
that they're looking for their casting
for the Real Housewives of New Jersey
and I reposted it on my story.
Oh, you did?
I didn't even see that.
Yeah, I did.
Because you know what?
I'm just like sick of the producer.
I'm sick of everyone like we're searching for more people
We're searching we need to add we need to let me help you like let me help you
because like I think I have the biggest platform to help y'all because
Whatever everyone's doing is just taking too long. So I'm like what I'm like we're in Jersey. You can't find
Italian families in Jersey like sisters cousins uncles
So maybe I'm just gonna cast it today here on my podcast and listen guys
This might be getting me to lose my job for all I know but at this point, I don't even care
I'm just like make a decision ready cast the damn show
Let us know who's in and who's out so we can keep
it moving. I want to help you at this point cast the new show. As crazy as that sounds.
But like, I'm just like, okay, a couple people have sent me the flyer. Like I guess it's
starting to like pass through TikTok now and Instagram. But I'm like, wow, I know that
they've been casting this show for well over like they cast it six to eight months
I mean when did they put the flyer out? I'm telling you it's well over six to eight months
This is big and I'm like, how is this the first time? I'm seeing this or that like anyone is seeing this
I'm like it obviously wasn't out there
Good enough. I'm like here. Let me help everybody out
What is the flyer say it basically says like calling all I don't know, crazy lunatic
loony tunes, crazy calling out Come on, loonies. No, it's not
they're not gonna they're not doing that this time. Let's go.
They're not doing this time. I said, No, but the truth is they
I do believe they're looking for like, you know, energetic,
energetic, outgoing women with big families. And, you know, energetic, energetic, outgoing women with big
families and you know, they don't necessarily have to be Italian, but when
you think of Jersey, you do think of Italians and like, whatever, like who
cares just if you're good for TV and you're not shy, you're outspoken, you
want to share your life, you have a cute story, like go find that flyer guys and reach out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's why I posted it.
Not because I'm casting for a show that I know I'm going to be on.
So I don't care at this point.
Just cast the show.
That's why I reboasted it, which I think is kind of funny.
You know what I wanted to ask you today?
I heard something on the radio too. But like, can I ask
you this? What? I don't think I've ever really asked you this.
But and you can be honest, don't feel like I'm gonna be honest.
Go ahead. You ask me don't feel funny. Like talking about it.
Let's talk about fame for a second. Okay. And the not so
bright side of fame. Okay, right. Like, be honest, what is
the main thing that you have to,
that you can honestly say has changed for you
since becoming famous?
Like for good and for bad, like what can you say this 100%?
Cause I know you, the God's honest truth is
Joe has not changed much guys, you haven't.
There's really not a lot, there isn't,
and I would vouch for you for that.
But what is it? Like if you had to pinpoint something you're like, this is so different
because I'm famous. I am different? Well, you can give me a little bit of both. I want that. I want
to know what's different in your life. Like what do you notice that you're like, this is, do you
want, like I can be honest with you about mine. I want to know, you help me in. So like things that are different for me that I used to enjoy that I no longer
enjoy and it's because I'm on a TV show. I loved to walk the mall, right? I always walked the mall.
First of all, I saw it as cardio. Second of all, whether I was shopping or not shopping, I was a mall walker, right? I live in Jersey. I took my kids to the mall. I used to put
them in their strollers and when I first got married, I didn't have a
job for, you know, I worked for you or whatever, but like I was raising babies
up until Antonia was four. I did not get on the show, so I had Antonia and Gino
always just, I can't really do that anymore. I can't just like, I can, but like it's not the same. And that bothers me. And here's the biggest
reason why. Because I love to sit at the food court. Like that was, I always spent an hour at
the food court and I love to be at the food court. And I like to sit there and I feel like I can't do
that anymore. People look at me weird, like I'm crazy.
And like, they're just like, why is Melissa sitting alone in the middle of the
food court? Like, I feel weird doing that. Just being honest.
The other thing is there's a bathroom problem now.
So, okay, like not a lot has changed for me,
but this has changed for me. Now that I'm Melissa Gorga,
if I'm going to the bathroom, right, in a public space,
even at the gym, and I walk into the stall,
and there's pee all over the seat, okay?
There's pee on the seat.
I didn't put the pee on the seat,
but there's pee on the seat.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
When you go into a woman's bathroom,
and there's pee on the seat, like how does that happen?
I'm explaining.
Doesn't a woman sit on the seat? Oh no, they squat. A lot of women don't wanna put their butt pee on a seat. Like how does that happen? I'm explaining. Doesn't a woman sit on the seat?
Oh, no, they squat a lot of women don't want to put their butt cheeks on the seat
So we do a lot of squatting, right? So we squat
Well, let me ask you so we don't have to sit unless you really have to go to the bathroom
Then you have to like line the line everything up and sit down
Yeah, but but if you're sitting on a seat, let's think no missing the point. I get it. All right, good
I get it. But I'm just saying what are the germs that your legs are touching?
Joe my throw up what what are you saying? No, I line it too, but I'm just saying but we let's think about this, right?
What are the germs?
It's hitting the bottom of your legs
What are the germs? It's hitting the bottom of your legs and your skin.
We don't know.
Oh my God.
Where are you taking this, Joe?
Where are you?
Can I get back to my point for a second?
Oh my God.
Okay, so I'm just getting back to an issue that I'm having now that people know who I
am.
All right.
So when I walk into the bathroom stall
and there's multiple stalls, like at the airport,
that's a perfect example.
At my gym, that's another perfect example.
I walk in, there's already pee on the seat.
I know there's other people coming in after me.
They're gonna see me walk out of there.
The pee on the seat is not from me, right?
So I then go squat and pee and then I end up taking paper
and cleaning their pee that's on the seat,
like you should wipe down the seat before you leave
because when I walk out, I don't want other people
to be like, ew, Melissa Gorgas gross,
and she just left pee all over the seat for the next person.
So I have to clean their pee off the seat
so that they're not saying Melissa Gorgas gross
and that's messed up.
I would just walk out and say, oh, it it was disgusting somebody just peed all over the seat. I'm not going that's
No, like it's messed up. I get so mad and I'm like I can't walk out there. I have to wipe
Girls do this like you wipe down the seat when you're flushing after you wipe you take the little extra you wipe it down
And people who don't do that then I have to do it for them.
You know what I don't like is I don't like
when you go to a urinal and you go to take a pee
in a man's bathroom and there's like pubes there
and they're long and I'm like, holy shit.
Like, yo, don't you groan.
And there's just these pubes everywhere.
I'm like, my God.
I don't care.
I can't.
Yeah. That is gross. I mean, so it looked like, you know. I don't wanna know, but yeah,, I don't care. I can't. Yeah. I mean,
so it looked like, you know, I don't want to know. But yeah,
sometimes I create a weave with same thing with girls, by the
way, sometimes we see some and I'm like, Whoa, really? Okay,
70s. Baby. But yeah, so that's one of the one thing and we're
gonna still hear what has changed for you. I have one
thing the same thing, honey. You told us again.
What, what's your thing?
I have one thing that I did not change.
What?
That I think people always get shocked to hear.
I don't know why, but I still, so since I was 18, I went to
group fitness at the gym.
I love group fitness classes.
The reason why I love group fitness is because the music's loud.
You can kind of move at your own pace.
You can't bow out. You can't answer your cell phone. It's 45 minutes straight of hard work
with a trainer in front of you. Everyone's doing their own thing. The energy in the room
is high. The music is loud. And I refuse to give that up because I'm on a TV show. So
I still go to group classes at the gym and I love them.
And I've had a couple of ladies at the gym say to me like,
I can't believe you're here.
And I'm like, and they're like, you're doing this.
And I'm like, yes, I love it.
And it's one of those things I am not giving up
and I'm not willing to give up.
So, okay, your turn.
I had to give up my girlfriends.
That shit sucks. Wait, what?
I had to give up the girlfriends, the go-go bars, the no, no, no.
You definitely, one thing you did have to give up is those fun nights out at a strip
club because I know you had random ones when we first got married.
Not really.
Yes, you did.
You've had a couple.
I mean, not really.
And now you'll get caught in three shakes of a lamb's tail
Bitch man, there's like no privacy. You can't even do anything anymore
But I can't even go to the goddamn Starbucks their DM and Melissa Joe's at the Starbucks mind your goddamn business
I love when they tell me where you are
I love when they tell me where you are. I love you. I love you. Why were you? Tell my wife where I am. I'll be like, why were you in
Woldwick? Why were you at the Woldwick Dunkin Donuts?
I had a mother, man. I had a mother and a father for a very long time.
You know, you don't want to be married.
You know, she questions everything. Why are you there?
Why are you there? Why right, hold on Joe, tell me.
Why'd you put that hat on?
Why you doing this?
I got questions.
Tell me what you feel like you,
what do you do different, you personally?
What do you do different?
What do I do different?
Yeah, like is it something you do with the bank?
Is it something in your everyday life
that you no longer do that you wanna do?
Did you used to burp in public and you don't now?
Like what?
You do everything exactly the same.
I do it all, I'm not changing.
I'm who I am.
Nothing feels different.
Nothing.
Do you pee on the seat when you pee?
I mean sometimes because, you know,
sometimes a man tries to pee straight
and it goes to the side and it goes to it goes double
You know, you'll you start paying like you're doing double. What? Yeah. Yeah comes out two ways like you got to
Yeah, you're like shit, you know, yeah
Things happen, you know
What do I do different? I don't know baby. I just you know, nothing. All right, Joe is just Joe. Nothing has changed for you. Yeah, you know.
Well, I'm cleaning people's pee. That's the biggest thing that's changed for me
in life. That's that's that's that's never told me that. That's that's
I never told you that it's I mean, it is you know, I do things like that, too. I
mean, I really do because you don't want people thinking, you know, everybody's
watching you no matter where you are. Everyone knows you do, because you don't want people thinking, you know, everybody's watching you. No matter where you are, everyone knows you,
even if they don't say hi to you.
Yes, those are the worst kind.
They don't say.
I rather them say hi.
When they don't say hi, they're just watching
and they're paying attention.
At least when they say hi, I'm like,
oh, they know us from the show, like whatever, hey.
But when they don't, you just kind of think,
oh, they don't know me.
You just go along with your own self
and you're like, oh no, they're watching, they're't, you just kind of think, oh, they don't know me. You just go along with your own stuff. And you're like, oh no, they're watching.
They're listening.
They know.
I was just, I was just,
just came from a meeting.
I just met somebody.
We met at a coffee shop and we hung out.
We had our coffee.
We walked out and he goes, man,
it's the first time that people didn't recognize you.
He said to me, I go, no, no, no.
I go, they knew I was making eye contact.
They knew I was there. They just didn't say nothing.
Yeah, I appreciate that sometimes too, though, when people just kind of let you do you. But
I never mind when anyone says hello. I think it's fine.
Yeah, it's all good.

All right, you know what else I wanna touch on with you
that we haven't had a chance
because I haven't done a podcast since,
but I gotta ask you about this.
I mean, what did you think about the Kathy Waukele thing?
Like, can you believe, can you even believe she did that?
I told you.
You know what?
My wife, you know, she told me she was gonna sit with her and talk to
her. Right? You did. And I told you don't do it. I said, you did.
He warned me and I said no, I was seeing positive in it. I and
he knows he knows. Let me tell you something. I grew up with
Kathy and I love I really did love her. I did. And you do love her. And you love Rosie. And I love you something. I grew up with Cathy and I really did love her.
I did.
And you do love her.
And you love Rosie.
And I love my cousins and Cathy was very nice to me.
She was like a little mom to me.
She really was.
And I'm not saying that she's old.
I'm saying that she took care of me all the time.
I'd go to her house and she would feed me.
Like, you know, she was very, always so sweet.
But she did change.
And she changed, you know, when she got off the change and she changed you know when she got
off the show she got very angry and there's nothing that we did we don't
control the show and when they get angry they get and I'm gonna say it you they
get jealous if I got kicked off the show I'm off the show I got to move on I'm
not gonna get angry I'm not gonna get jealous I'm not gonna hate the person that stayed on it's just my time is over I just got to move on that's. I'm not gonna get angry. I get that, but- I'm not gonna get jealous. I'm not gonna hate the person that stayed on.
It's just, my time is over.
I just gotta move on.
That's it.
You know, we are not the network.
We don't control anything.
Yeah, but she truly, like I told you from,
and by the way, guys,
I would never even be saying this on my podcast,
but just to like bring you up to date
for anyone who doesn't know,
Cathy went out there and told the whole story of how we sat together, we had lunch, we had a whole
conversation and then tried to act like I was lying on other podcasts, not being honest
and not telling people that we had this lunch together.
When really all I was doing was respecting Cathy's exact,
very precise wishes that when I was sitting with her,
she said to me,
because I'm the one that called the meeting,
I'm the one that reached out to her,
so I wanted to respect whatever she wanted to do.
So we had lunch together, it was actually a nice lunch,
we talked a lot, I will tell you my side of the lunch now,
because I was very, very shocked
at the things she was mad at. And when I tell you, you're going to be like, oh, you guys
should not be fighting. It's so ridiculous. To me, it's so stupid. It's so ridiculous.
But to her, it wasn't. It was very serious. So I hate, I almost don't want to say it like
that, but this is just, I guess how people take things differently, right? But I really wanted to, I said to her,
listen, you're moving across the street.
This is what triggered me to do this.
We saw each other at an event.
She swears she didn't see us.
She did, we all saw each other.
I don't care, okay.
And then she threw in another little dig saying,
well, if Joe saw me, I can't believe
he didn't say hello to me.
Well, lucky he didn't. I mean, geez, if Joe saw me, I can't believe he didn't say hello to me.
Well, lucky he didn't.
I mean, geez, like this didn't go very well.
That's number one.
Number two, she looked at me at the end of this lunch and said, do not ever talk about
this.
This is between you and I.
I had this lunch with you.
Please do not ever discuss this in the press and never talk about this on your podcast."
And I granted her, I said,
"'Of course, if that's what you want, I will never.'"
And I thought it was maybe my way of showing her like,
"'No, I'm serious, this is a serious conversation.
This is not for clout.
This is not for the show.
This is not for anything.
This is because you're my husband's cousin
and you're gonna live across the street.
And I'd love for you two to say hello to each other or like, hi, or like have a coffee,
have a tea.
But I don't think she, maybe she didn't believe that at the time.
She thought I had another agenda.
I don't know if she thought I was trying to get her on the show.
No, definitely wasn't trying to do that.
There's a reason she's not on the show.
They didn't want her on the show. I'm'm not, I'm not here promoting for the like recruiting for the show. I was. And would I have called if she wasn't moving across the street for me? Maybe not be right. No, you would like I don't know if I would have. Right. Maybe because I saw her out maybe. But like I always had a little soft spot for Kathy. I never had a big knockdown, drag out fight with her.
My family is very good to her, still always very good to her.
Always would say hello to her, tell her she looks beautiful, comments on her pictures,
everything.
Because I never had a fight with her that I can recall that's this big.
You know what I mean?
So I think I really said, what happened? her version of what happened and my version are just too
This is why you can't really judge people when they're mad because you just don't know what people are mad at
but like she was very mad that
You know and and I'm just gonna go ahead and say this because now I don't give a shit about anyone
About anything not just Kathy
I don't give a shit about anyone, about anything, not just Cathy, anyone. I don't give a shit.
I don't care.
The truth is, and I have people to vouch because they were sitting in the room, Jacqueline
and Loretta and Cathy Walkeely were pissed when Teresa came home from jail and I told
them both, I sat them both down and told them, this has nothing to do with either of you. I'm still gonna be friends with you
I'm not gonna call you two out on anything
I'm not this is not gonna change our relationship
But I'm letting you know that I am letting my sister-in-law back in I am going to try to rekindle my
Relationship with my sister-in-law now is the time she's hit the lowest of the low
I feel that she's gonna come out and be humbled
and want her family and do the right thing.
I feel bad.
She's been through a lot.
I'm gonna open my heart to her and my in-laws
and my mother-in-law, for my mother-in-law,
for my father-in-law.
You know, I'm going to welcome Teresa
and I know that we all gossiped about her before.
I know we all did what we did, but I'm being honest with the two of you and telling you
that I don't want to do that anymore, okay? Because she's coming home and she's home and
I'm going to have a relationship with my husband's only sister for Joe, but also because I feel like
this is for the cousins, for the kids, and I feel like it's
the best time to move forward.
They were not happy, either of them.
So if you pay attention, the two of them that season both turned on me and that is what
happened.
Okay?
And they were not happy. And I love it how, you know, everyone tries to say,
and then on top of that, on top of that,
and I never said that out loud,
but they did not want me to do that.
Jaclyn turned on me as quick as she could.
Everyone saw that.
Everyone went, and I never to this day on the show
said one bad thing about Cathy or Jaclyn ever.
Go watch it back. Because I was making up with Teresa
Did not mean I didn't want a relationship with them
Do you remember all of this show like when this was all good?
I do and you know the story they both turned on me because I forgave her and I still stood up for my sister-in-law
Real I'm not gonna deny that I'm a loser, like real far that got me, right?
Because you know, I'm not saying that my sister-in-law wasn't having this fake relationship with
me because obviously she was for TV and she needed to come home to somebody, right?
I'm not saying that I was being genuine at the time.
I really thought that this was going to be the turnaround in my face, right?
But also in my face with the other two who couldn't remain true
friends to me because I was forgiving my husband's only sister, like shame on them.
And Kathy's story was like, um, I came to a photo shoot.
This was her main thing.
I came to a photo shoot with the producers were there and she
knows how this goes.
Like it's a tv thing
and and they made they probably made her like say something to me about Teresa or like not made her
but you know she approached me about Teresa like in a negative way and she had always been there
for me when she wanted to vent and I just said to her Kathy I was in the middle of a photo shoot
and she kept bringing up she's doing a photo shoot like she's some
Superstar like no, I was just doing a photo shoot. But whatever she's gonna make it sound crazy and
And she was like she brought it up to me to talk negatively about Teresa that she was and I said to her
I don't want to do this right now. It felt weird. It didn't feel right like either
It felt very forced if I know Cathy if she was really upset
I probably would have felt it. I didn't feel that it just felt like force and I was like Cathy
I'm not doing this right now, which I'll take the blame for I'll 100% take the blame for that
I'll say, you know what Cathy you're right. You probably I probably should have said, you know, stop the photo shoot cat
I don't know. Maybe I could have said that I I don't know. But that's life, right?
I had no idea that's that's angry. She's very, very mad at that still right now. And she's very mad that feels like we came together, I guess with Teresa and took her and removed her from the show.
When you know Joe and I know Joe, that is 1000% on true. I won't say that's on true for Teresa.
Teresa had an agenda, Teresa went in,
she did tell the producers, it's me or her,
she did that whole thing, she did.
But I did not, and I'm getting all the blame for it.
And it's so funny, because I wouldn't have even told
this story, but Kathy wanted to just like take the cat
out of the bag, so like, let's go,
let's have a conversation, because it's all bullshit.
You're not gonna sit and make me look like a liar when I'm actually telling
the truth and you're lying about our lunch because you failed to tell page six.
Well, Melissa did nothing wrong.
She's actually honoring my wishes because I asked her not to say it and she didn't.
But I got no credit for that. Right. That was totally ignored. I got no credit for that right that was totally
ignored I got no credit for doing the right thing all I got was she's a liar
we had lunch are you fucking kidding me right now it's like am I in the fucking
Twilight Zone like and then the whole conversation for me seemed very like pro
Teresa like Teresa's my cousin so is fucking Joe
meanwhile Joe's not the one who called you cancer hello she called them cancer
and she's talking negatively about me for having a photo shoot and not hearing
her out like is everyone okay like I don't even understand like and at this
point I don't want to understand. Bridge is closed. Street is
closed. I tried. Nope. Done. Done. Well I you know and I'm gonna I'm I'm gonna get a little deep
here because I told you so and the reason why I told you so. You always tell me so. I'm gonna be
you know and you were very sweet and you were very nice and you met good. You did. Now I'll tell you what happened with me.
Find out they're moving on the street was nice.
I go to the plumbing supply.
I'm buying some plumbing material and I'm up on the dock.
This is a true story.
I'm up on the dock loading my material and there's a guy below me it's like a big garage door I'm
up there loading I accidentally fall I fall back and I fall back so when I fall
back the guy down there and below and the other guys are like oh my god are
you alright so I got up and it was Richie Wachile. So I'm looking down on Richie and I see him because I'm sitting up on his dock and I instantly
was being very nice.
I go, hey, Wachile, what's up, man?
And I was going to say, yo, buddy, welcome to the neighborhood.
I know you're bored.
I was really on my parents, going to be so sweet and nice to him and say, listen, you
know, I was going to shake his hand right right there bury the hatchets and move forward and you know what he said to me
He looked at me and he was very angry and he goes. Oh, yeah
That's mr. Waukele to you and he gets in his car and he takes off
And no, I didn't the guy almost just get canceled by the way
It's like yeah, and then I just sat there and and I was confused about that
So I call one of my best friends I say but I just saw what you are killing and this is what happened
I said, well, how do what do you how do you take that?
He goes he was basically telling you to fuck off in a way. I go where he was I didn't realize
It's like people who hold on to anger. They're mad. We're not mad anymore. That's the problem
We get over being mad so much quicker than everybody else
Everyone stays mad. The moral of the story is that I was gonna be nice. They're moving on our street
I'm let it go let bygones be bygones you were being nice
So then when I found that you were doing out my what I said with Kathy, I said don't do it
I said dirt they're just angry. They're mad
They hate us for some reason, you know, they're just envious
so if you cannot be around people that are in
Competition with you and I'm gonna say because I'm not in competition with it
They are and and you don't want to be around people that are in competition with you because then they get evil
They get angry and they want to hurt you. I don't want to be around people. are in competition with you because then they get evil, they get angry
and they want to hurt you.
I don't want to be around people that want to hurt me.
Did I want them in my life?
Yes, my family, my cousins, I would have been nice.
Let's just take a different scenario for two seconds.
Say we went to that lunch, we left, I came home to you.
I would have said, you know what, Joe?
She was very upset.
I heard her out.
I feel bad that I ever made her upset.
I didn't realize that these things that are little to me are big to her, whatever it was, right? Yeah.
And I said, Listen, let's have them over for a drink. Let's have what would you have said?
Okay, listen, I'm not gonna, I'm not mad at I'm not mad. I don't hold grudges on life
is too short. Let's go. Let's have a drink a drink let's move on let's be friends done you know we maybe we wouldn't have broke bread every weekend
or whatever but at least we're we're humble we're sweet and we're we're
cordial you know have kids you know you guys everyone can you know I don't know
it's weird when you go up with people and you watch their kids grow up they've
seen my kids grow up we've seen their kids grow up and now nobody knows each each other. I don't know your whole family, by the way, sorry. They did that with your father,
your father did that with their mother, their sister. Listen, it's just fucking weird. Can I say, but I'm gonna say,
but I'm gonna say, and I'm trying to be nice, but Kathy won't kill he proved herself. She did it. And you know, you were such a woman about
it and a friend and a cousin and you kept it to yourself. But she went out there and
she tried to get some clout or whatever she tried to do. And she embarrassed herself.
You know, and it was another thing that she did.
Because you know what a lot of people were saying? You know what a lot of people were saying?
A lot of people were saying, like reading it,
and when I had put out there, like, well, I didn't lie.
She asked me not to, and it was very obvious
that like Kathy was totally doing this
just to make me look bad.
Or like, first of all, she would have,
why is she even on a podcast?
Like, I don't get it.
So you go on Page Six podcast
to have a whole conversation about me me but like you can't stand me
like it's just when people do that it'll always baffle me but you know Jack
Larita used to do that shit too she was going on podcasts just to bash me like
nobody cares bro nobody cares like everyone has an opinion and you could
hate me the next one loves me the next one can hate me this one loves you who
gives a fuck what anyone says anymore it's like such these people think
they're like changing the universe they're like I'm gonna say this about
her oh okay that's gonna just change everyone's minds like it's just crazy
it's like so weird when people do this and listen I had good intention so if
you hear a little now I'm now I'm like, I'm mad. I'm like, you know what my best friend, the moment he heard Kathy on that
interview, he did call us. And he said, Joe, because that night,
we one night we were going out to dinner, right? And we were,
we were out to dinner. And we told the story. And and I said,
in the car, I said, Don't do it. it I said she's gonna stab you in the back you'll
see and that night when our best friend heard that he called us up right and he
group texts us and he calls and he goes Joe Joe said it he was right

Clocking out of the content factory. I'm Tucker and I'm
Becca. And this is a podcast where we take a break from
climbing the absolute corporate ladder that is being a
tick tocker. That's right. This is the most corporate podcast for the least corporate girlies.
In this pod, we're in the break room with you guys, our gorgeous gorgeous coworkers.
And you may be wondering what goes on in the content factory.
Give us the agenda, Tucker.
Well, each episode starts with a performance review.
Where we talk about what's going on in the week, content we're making, DMs we're getting.
A little peek behind the curtain of the content creator life. We also will be doing an HR report.
Where we ask you guys during the week,
what is some workplace drama you got going on?
And we'll end each episode with a rapid fire and hire.
Things we want to get rid of and things we want to keep.
For example, Becca, what do you want to fire this week?
My IBS.
Absolutely.
Okay.
And before we go, we have some action items for you. Please complete by end of day. Um, my IBS. Absolutely.
And before we go, we have some action items for you.
Please complete by end of day, follow, rate, and review the Content Factory wherever you
get your podcasts.
And as always, we'll circle back soon.
We're leaving out one other small part.
After I had lunch with her, I said to you, you know what would be nice, Joe?
She kept mentioning, well, you're here, but my cousin, my cousin's not here.
Where's my cousin?
I'm like, well, I'm just trying to connect.
So then I said, Joe, why don't you shoot her a text so she knows it's not all just me.
Oh yeah, forgot about that.
That you actually were okay and would love to like, you know,
so she doesn't just think I have some bad intentions for trying
to do this.
You shot her a text, just something nice.
She never even answered you.
So it's like, who's fake?
Who's do?
You know?
And let me tell you something.
That incident that happened on the Real Housewives
in New Jersey at Rails when my sister actually
called her cancer and cut her out and I was trying to make peace.
You felt sick over that.
I was sick because I'm really not a bad person.
Not bad.
I'm not evil.
I don't want to cut anybody out.
I don't want to fight with you.
I really don't want to cut anybody out. I don't want to fight with you. I really don't but I'm it was my sister and I'm
Trying to make peace with my sister and this is and it wasn't that it was both your parents to and it was my parents
it was the whole family and and
And I just walked it dead at that moment. And what what was I gonna do go against my sister? So
And what what was I gonna do go against my sister? So?
Kathy and Rosie they had to understand where that like if that was Kathy and Rosie and
Rosie picked Kathy over me. I said okay. That's your sister. I'd move on you know or they picked their brothers
Okay, that's what family is I'm old enough to understand that for them to hold the grudge that I'm going against my sister Shame on them
Shame on them. They say they still can't they're mad about that. It's my only I feel like she keeps trying to say also
I get it that that they know but she did together but she gets it but she doesn't get you but it's almost she was
Making it very much. So like but I'm she'll be more forgiving to
But it's almost she was making it very much so like but I'm she'll be more forgiving to Teresa not to us I'm like girl. She's the one that
Orchestrated it made it happen and actually said the word which is so funny
chill
Relax be nice. Everybody gotta be nice
Angry or nasty and angry. Well, you know how I'm gonna end this podcast with something that I heard Tyler Perry say
today, that I feel like fits in so perfectly with this.
He said, this is so crazy.
And I remember I was like, wow, he's so, because obviously he's reached the top of the top
of the top of the top, right?
And he said, you can't take everyone with you on the climb or on the boat.
He was basically saying like,
when there's too many people on the boat,
there starts to get holes on the boat.
He's like, you gotta keep your circle tight.
And he's like, and you know what?
You gotta start cutting off the people who are mad.
They're not clapping and they're seeing your elevation
and you're feeling the jealousy.
The second you start feeling that way cut them off get them out
And he said he said you're gonna then get all you think you're too good for us now. You're too big for us now
You're cutting us off. He goes. Yep. Take it. It's lonely at the top
This is like I was listening to him and he was making so much sense
He was basically saying that's right
And when they start getting on you for cutting them off,
saying you think you're too good and who you think you are,
he's like, take it, take it and keep walking
because nobody who, if they don't clap for you
and they're not happy for you, get them off your boat.
And so, you know, I don't, not quoting him exactly,
but something very similar to that.
And I just thought it made so much, so much sense, especially when he said like, and when
you try to get him out, they're going to call you out and they're going to say, see, he
changed, he's different, he's got too much money now he's at the top, he doesn't need
us anymore.
And take that he said, let them say it and who cares, take it, be lonely, do what you
have to do because he was saying it's Be lonely. Do what you have to do. Because he was saying it's very lonely.
And and and the waters are could be rough for everyone.
The waters are going to be rough for everyone.
So it's about building a crew that will be brave enough
to be in those waters with you. Right. Yeah.
I mean, honestly, we have we we have built a an amazing crew, we
have an amazing bunch of friends that we call family. And they are truly our family. And
they they they they clap. I was gonna ask you clap for them. Right. You know, anything
I could do to help my friends, I do and anything they they could do to help us, man, it's unbelievable.
We are very lucky in that space.
Yeah.
No, I know.
We have a great boat.
I love our boat.
Yeah.
And I will say we're very lucky that we have our boat.
And when we find a hole once in a blue moon, once in a blue moon, we find a hole and we
get them out very quickly.
Talking about a boat, babe. I'm telling you, man. I have to, I'm very proud of you, man.
I'm very proud of you and I have to congratulate you. I saw that.
On what?
Your New York Times article.
Oh, thank you.
You killed it.
Thank you.
That was, let me tell you something. That was a beautiful article and I'm so proud of you.
I really am.
Joe, it's so nice to hear you say that.
I'll be honest, that was a big one.
I taught you very well in everything.
Oh, you got to take a little credit.
I knew you did.
You got to thank... I did really well with you.
I really didn't.
No, but I got to say that was really like a crazy moment because the New York Times
is a big deal and I do I realized that and when I first got the email and you know they
said they wanted to come out and they wanted to talk to me all about like my businesses
and being a woman in business and just you know climbing my way up to where that business
is right now and then they wanted to do a whole photo shoot at my house I really I I think I told you this but I was alone
when I got the the info and I just started crying in our bedroom I don't
know why I just got very emotional it just was a very because listen I I know
it's an article but the New York Times is a big deal. And especially if they want to write about me in business, for me, that was huge.
And I started crying and I started praying.
And I do that when I get overwhelmed.
I just basically started praying.
And I said, thank you, God.
And it was a moment for me.
And I really do love the article.
And I'm so grateful for everyone that's supported
Let's Sprinkle and the podcast and Envy you know they were talking about Envy as well like
just everything and sometimes it's crazy to see where your life can go and I hope it's like a
aspiring story for any moms out there with young kids right now that have little kids and your
husband goes to work all day which is not that abnormal and you're there with young kids right now that have little kids and your husband goes to
work all day which is not that abnormal and you're home with the kids and you have hopes and dreams
and want to do things and just know that it is possible. I mean I'm not going to say this
happened overnight guys. I always go by the age of Joey. I mean I started, let's just go by Envy. Envy's 10 years old. So it took me a decade to get here and it was a slow climb.
And you know, my question to you, Joe,
which I first of all, thank you for congratulating me,
but like, just be honest about a lot of this.
This is not funny questions.
This is honest questions.
But when we first, and which we know we saw a lot
of your reactions on The Real Housewives
of New Jersey.
But did you really ever think that I would, because I didn't, honestly.
Did you ever really think that this is where I'd be?
Were you going to say to yourself, in 10 years, Melissa's going to be in The New York Times
about business and have two very, very successful businesses that make very legit amounts of money.
Would you ever, were you ever thinking
that was gonna happen, honestly?
You wanna know the truth?
Yes.
I did.
No, really?
Okay.
You didn't act like you did.
You're like, you make the crumbs, I make the cake.
That's because who I am, it's just my personality.
But, I always, when you were singing,
I thought you were, I said, she's amazing.
And I really know that, yes, everything you can do
is I look up to you, I say, yeah, she can do it.
It's because I would have never married you anyway, babe.
You know what I mean?
I had married the best. Oh the best. You are the best. I see that you're a hard worker and people,
there's no trick to being successful at something you do. It takes work. Hard work every day, get up and it's a grind.
And people that think it's gonna be easy,
you put your 30 hours in a week and it's not gonna happen.
You put in 80, 120 hours a week,
you're gonna get successful.
And that's it, and that's what you do.
Gotta work at it.
Do you remember me 3 a.m. on my computer
during Christmas time with Let's Sprinkle,
literally losing my mind sending emails because we
exploded in December.
We couldn't handle it.
We had no idea it was going to happen.
Joe would go to bed, and I'd be on my computer fixing things
at 3 o'clock in the morning.
So that's what I'm saying.
It's not easy, but that's why I'm proud to get this notice.
And what I'm even, you know, this was, Let's Sprinkle came without the Bravo platform.
I mean, I'll always thank Bravo for the platform, but I did this without the show, right, while the show was on a break.
And I just think that it's been surreal and I feel like this was a testament to Melissa Gorga, not the housewife,
but the mom and businesswoman, you know, the woman who I am 24 hours a day outside of the
show.
That's what this was a testament to.
So that's why this touched me a little bit more and I really did appreciate it.
So thank you to the New York Times for
the beautiful article. I appreciate it so much and thank you Joe for teaching me
that you can never work too hard because you can't and the truth is I did learn
from the best too. I had three jobs when Joe met me but Joe there's no one I mean
the only person who works harder in the room than me would be Joe
so I've learned from the best and
You know here we are. Let's just hope our kids get some of this. Let's hope our kids feel the vibes
So far we have one that definitely but I want to drink. Let's not even say anything
Let's just see what happens just remember that life is a roller coaster and you'll be you'll be on the you'll be
making it and then breaking it.
I know you're going up.
You're going up.
You're making money.
You're making money and things change in life.
You know and bang whatever you were making money and changes and you got to reinvent
yourself and and there's certain people you, yeah, they constantly can have that business and they make money and they keep doing it. But the real successful people are constantly reinventing themselves and constantly working.
You got to pivot always. It's always about pivoting. And there's the most successful guys and women and people in business out there that they were in this business, not this business but whatever business they're in, very successful.
Something goes wrong, something drops, the world changes, they got to pivot.
So you always got to be ready to pivot.
I never know how long either of my companies are going to be alive, but you just got to
be ready to pivot when you need to.
So I think that's so true, Joe.
You know what?
You're right.
Life is a roller coaster, but you get to choose who you sit next to you. I love you Joe. I'm so happy I get to sit next to you
Oh my girl
Baby, oh god, please don't start singing. That's our cue guys. We love you. Thanks for listening
I'm sorry. We got a little deep, but sometimes I just got to get shit off my chest
