Well, I will say this will be the only podcast that Gino and Joey, my sons, will be like,
yeah, Ma, like maybe they'll actually even listen to it.
What's up guys, it's Melissa. Welcome to another episode of on display. All right. So it's my favorite time of the year and it's Christmas week. So it's my favorite week of the year. I'm sure
you guys are all really like feeling the holiday spirit right now. I know I am. I have done all the things
leading up to this week. I have gone to every Christmas concert I possibly could. I had my
cousins weekend in New York City. I went to Mariah Carey, which Christmas doesn't start until you
see Mariah, right? I've made cookies. I've made sprinkle cookies. I've done it all, I've done all the decor.
Now I am ready to kinda, this is when,
you know, when you see on Instagram
and they're like, slam laptop shut.
Like I am slamming the laptop.
Am I saying that right?
I'm slamming the laptop shut until for two weeks.
Like literally for two weeks,
I want to slam the laptop
shut. But no, I'm very, very excited about Christmas. I'm hosting Christmas Eve
this year and I have a lot of fun things at my sleeves. I am not cooking. I'm doing a
little bit of the cooking. We did order, we did order from an awesome, awesome caterer,
awesome catering company here in New Jersey shout shout out to B&M Catering.
They are like top notch.
So thank you so much.
I've been planning with them my whole, you know, the whole entire list from appetizers
to my seven fishes to the eggplant.
You name it.
We are, we're doing it all.
So I've been, you know, working hard behind the scenes to do that, but I'm super
excited. I actually have my mother, my sister, my cousins, like everyone is coming to my house this
year. So I'm very excited about that. And I have a couple tricks up my sleeves. So I bought a huge
karaoke machine. I'm going to make, we're doing karaoke this year. So I'm sure that'll be all
over Instagram. So make sure you guys tune in to watch us sing like dead birds on karaoke
I also I kind of don't even want to say this because I don't want them to hear it
But I secretly hired Christmas carolers that are just gonna like and they're gonna be fully decked out with like full
Like I want them holding the lanterns with like the lit candle with the hats and all the things. So I'm
surprising my fam this year. Don't tell them. And you know, the Christmas carolers are going to knock on
the door. I bought Joe Gorgah, a Santa costume off Amazon the other day. And I am literally like
going to fill up a bag of toys for the little ones that are gonna be here. I have some of my friends coming to you
that I have little kids.
So we're gonna fill up a Santa bag
and I want it to be old school,
like my grandmother used to do and my grandfather.
It has to be a pillowcase.
I don't know why it was always a pillowcase.
So I'm making this Joe Gorgas Santa Claus
coming in with a pillowcase,
probably full of dollar dollar store toys,
but that's what we're going to do. We're going to do all the things this year.
And you guys know on Christmas Day, we do Secret Santa. So do not miss that. We always end up
posting that all over Instagram too, where we do our wraps about our cousins. And I know you guys
all look forward to our Secret Santa wraps. So I'm not gonna lie, I have not prepared mine.
And I actually have someone this year
that I don't normally get,
and I'm very, very close to you.
So I feel like I should start writing my wrap
or I'm gonna be disappointed in myself
because I didn't perform the way I wanted to.
So I'm gonna get on that tomorrow.
I swear, I'm gonna start my wrap.
But I just really, you know,
before we get into this episode, I just want to say, you know, another year is gone.
Goodbye. I love you guys so much. I cannot thank everyone enough for all the support.
And I really, truly hope you have such an amazing holiday. Mary Christmas to all of you guys.
You're absolutely like the best. I read all your DMs. I love you guys so much.
But don't go anywhere because right now
we're gonna have such an awesome episode.
I'm so, so excited about these two girls.
I'm sure these ladies need no introduction,
but here we go from being the main divas
for years in professional wrestling
to being on their own reality show,
to now hosting a dating television show,
I have with me Nikki and Bri, the Garcia twins.
Yay!
Hello!
Hi, thank you for that.
Of course.
Well, you guys have done a lot.
Like, I feel like there's a whole long history
and career of the two of you guys, like, working together.
I'm so happy that you still like each other.
That's the name.
Oh, I guess we have to because we're stuck with each other.
We love each other.
We do.
I love that.
I love that you guys are so close.
I feel like my first introduction and I know, you know,
I feel like we haven't really had like a proper
introduction where we've met in person,
but we've definitely been at NBC
events together. So I've seen you guys in passing, but I feel like I know you guys from when
my children, my little, I have two little boys when they were young. It was like the WWE
and the Bella twins. And that's how I felt like I knew you guys from that. So I love that.
I do. It's so funny because now well, her and I were
Christmas shopping yesterday and we'll get so many boys to come that will come up to us in the
big. You are my childhood crush. I'm like gosh. Even a girl. That Oh yeah, I mean, it's funny
because now at our age, we're getting the oh my gosh, I grew up watching you when I was like a child.
I'm like awesome. Yeah, we're there. We're there.
It's been a long time.
Well, I will say this will be the only podcast that
Gino and Joey and my sons will be like, yeah, Ma,
like the exciting.
Oh, I did.
Maybe they'll actually even listen to it
because they don't listen to my podcast, my boys.
But they will be so excited.
And I know I get that too, where it's like,
we grew up watching you.
And I'm like, how old am I?
Like, what's happening to me?
And it's like, it's wild to hit like that midpoint, you know?
It is wild.
And it's sometimes a hard like to swallow for me.
Yeah.
Because I just like, I look at them with like,
they have 10 heads and I'm like, Melissa.
And I'm like, oh, you grew up watching, I get it.
I've been on TV for 14 years.
I mean, you girls have been on TV for how long?
16, 17.
Yeah, yeah, since 2007.
Yeah, I guess.
Oh my gosh.
I gotta fix that.
Yeah, so it makes perfect sense that a six year old
is gonna walk up to you now at 20 something
and say, I've been watching you,
you know, the whole time I've been watching you, you know,
the whole time I've been growing up.
And so,
Well, you know what, really messed me up?
Yeah, is our mom had us young.
And when we graduated high school,
my mom was 38 years old, and we're 40.
And I'm like, what?
It's hard for me to even comprehend that,
because I feel like I'm way too young to have a high schooler.
I feel like I'm like cool like a high schooler
So that always like just puts so much in perspective and it trips me out
But I think like to your point like when you were saying how it's like hard
I think when you have been on television for a long time like we're just kind of like
I mean, I feel like I'm an old soul, but like we're younger in the way. I just don't think any of us feel our age, right?
And we stay very young and hip and cool, at least that's what I think.
And so I might challenge you on that.
No, but meaning, so it hits a little harder when I'm like, wait, are we almost the same
age?
And you just realize, no, you're becoming 20 years older than a lot of these people.
And I'm like, whoa, it's an act crazy.
It's a very, it's like a hard nut as well for me because I feel like we're kind of on
the same, we're kind of on the same era there, right?
So it's like, I definitely, I feel that as well.
I didn't realize, wow, your mother, your mother was 38 when you graduate in high school.
That's really young.
Yes. Can you even believe that? No, I felt like I was young when you graduated high school, that's really young. Yes, can you even believe that?
No, I felt like I was young when my daughter graduated.
It was, I mean, I was 43, but 38 is definitely.
Well, it's funny because my mom's like,
the my favorite decade was my 40s.
And I'm like, yeah, because all your kids
are out of the house.
Oh, literally.
They were all in college.
I'm like, I got young ones. I'm like, I do feel like the 40s are gonna be one of the greatest. Oh, literally. They were all in college. I'm like, I got young ones.
I'm like, I do feel like the 40s
are gonna be one of the greatest decades for us.
But it's funny because I'm like, yeah,
I'm still in the fog, that mom fog,
like trying to catch up on sleep.
Yeah, I'm on four hours right now,
but not even his fault, my fault.
Yeah, he slept, my little one sleeps,
which is great, but other things make it fun.
You guys have time.
I will confirm that I do, I am in my forties, and I do love it.
It is an awesome decade.
I do like, so far so good, so far so good.
I like that.
Like if I think about it from back in the day, did, you know, how they say, you feel like
it's old, but now I'm like, what?
I'm thriving.
Oh, totally.
I agree.
I agree. We just got into it a what? I'm thriving. Oh, right. Totally. I agree.
We just got into it a few weeks ago.
So.
Oh, wait, how old are you guys?
We just turned 40.
Yeah.
Number 21.
Oh my gosh.
Okay, well, there you go.
Welcome.
Welcome.
Thank you.
But this, so I have a question because so many people
will tell us like it's the best decade.
What, why do you feel it is?
What makes it the best?
I think I have to be honest.
I think, and for me, being on the reality show
helps me realize these things sooner
because I get to reflect and watch myself behave.
But for me, it's definitely just coming into your own.
It's your financial status, I would say.
It's your been there, done that.
I know what I want, I know what I don't want.
It's not about, who are we gonna be friends with?
What's my friend group gonna be?
What the moms at school?
Like, who do I wanna talk to?
Who don't?
Like, nothing matters except for what makes you happy
in your 40s, literally.
Like, friendships, the food you wanna eat,
if you wanna exercise, whatever you to do, it's literally to please
yourself a lot more in your 40s than it is in your 20s and your 30s. That I will definitely say. So
yeah, it's so far so good. So happy birthday. What are you guys? What's your style? So we're the
cusp of Scorpio and Sagittarius. Yeah, that's year. So November 21st, she is full on Scorpio.
I feel like I'm more Sagittarius.
Wow.
The cattail, like ready to like,
tch, all right.
You always like make everything a negative with me.
No, yeah.
But she, it is, I will say being twins.
It is crazy how I do feel like we split that sign though.
No, totally. Like the cusp. We do. For sure crazy how I do feel like we split that sign. No, totally.
Like the cusp.
We do.
For sure.
And I have to give a shout out before we get into this.
To Olivia who does my hair.
Oh, yeah.
Also, also works with you guys, right?
And does hair with you guys.
She's the one who was like, you need to have the ballad to its on you.
We love them.
You guys are also similar.
I was like, oh my god, I want them.
Yes.
Yes.
She's my favorite person.
Yes.
Me too.
She's the sweetest.
She's so nice.
All right.
So before we dive into your brand new show,
I want to get to know you to a little bit more as twins.
Obviously, you guys are identical twins,
and you're known to have so much in common, right?
When there's identical twins, but I
want to know all the opposites.
So tell me the things that you guys are absolutely
very obviously like polar opposite on.
I feel like a couple different things.
I mean, I would have said fake boobs,
but you got some, so.
So I feel like for sure style.
Like definitely like, yeah, our style for sure.
Bring what you're style. So I have to say, I feel like I yeah, our style for sure. I really want your style.
So I have to say, I feel like I'm boho chic.
And it right?
Yeah, your boho chic.
Or I can be boho grunge.
But like definitely boho in there.
I've always loved home moms.
Yeah, boho moms should try to put it together.
But I definitely feel, yeah, my style,
everything I'm always gravitating toward by is very bohemian.
And I guess me, I go from like edgy to sheet to like,
feel like rhinestone cowgirl.
What are they called the sweat pant look?
Oh, and then I'm just, I'm very like, like,
aethglam.
Okay.
Aethglam,, elevated athletic wear.
I mean, I've always been like a sexy tomboy.
Whether, if I was in the running or outside the running or when I was young or still at
my age, I'm still buying outfits.
I feel like they're trying to promote to women in their 20s, but I just love a good spaghetti
strap tank top and big old sweats.
Same.
Same. Like, everything I see on Instagram is like the hat with the tank top and big old sweats. Same, same.
Like everything I see on Instagram is like the hat
with the tank top, with the rolled sweats
with like sneakers, that's all me.
I agree.
All right, so you guys have a little bit different.
Who's more like who's type A?
Who's more of like the planner?
That'd be me for sure.
Yeah, but we have it like in different ways.
Like that's true.
Yeah, because I plan a lot, but you will too,
but in how we are with our closets,
like color-coordinate and goes from tanks to long sleeves,
we both are extreme when it comes to organizing
all those different things.
I agree.
Yeah.
Okay, so Breeze more of the planner.
What about who's more social?
Like, which one of you's more an introvert?
Which one of you likes this world that you're living in?
Like, the world knows you guys when you walk down the street.
Who enjoys that more?
And who could take it and who could leave it?
I could, I feel like out of a spout,
I could definitely leave it.
Yeah.
I could see that.
Yeah, I think she enjoys it.
She's more social in the mom world.
She's really good about play dates and doing all the things within the community, where
I'm more an introvert in that way.
I just kind of stick to myself and my son and Artam.
Yeah, when it comes to social, you think, oh, dinner and parties, that's it.
Yeah, exactly. I'm more, yeah, dinner and parties, that's it. Yeah, exactly.
I'm more, yeah, I do everything, like in the community,
different events for sure.
And she's very much like a,
a caller like an Etsy Pinterest mom,
like she's great with DIYs and all the seasons and the holidays
and all the stuff.
Like before you're more domestic,
you're a little bit more.
Very domestic.
I'm so domestic. And I am not. And I keep thinking I'm in, you're more domestic. You're a little bit more. Very domestic. I'm so domestic.
And I am not.
And I keep thinking I'm in a catch on.
And I just, I don't think I will.
It's not me.
I'll tell a style.
Not for everyone.
Yeah, right.
Like, I'll tell her, I'm like, hey, maybe like,
you should do this or that.
She'll tell me.
So, like, just some mom shit and wifey shit.
But I mean, my son loves every
I mean I make a lot of things special for him and he's just more my vibes too
So he doesn't you know, so he's chill with it. He like yeah, yeah, totally okay
So I need to know have you guys I mean you've always been identical
Has there ever been like a man swap that has happened or like someone that you both dated, like any fun juicy twin hot twin girl info.
We have never never, man swap.
It's crazy because we've heard of twins doing this
and we've been like, ew, really?
Like gross.
Like thankfully we don't have the same type.
Well at least we feel like we don't.
And growing up we didn't,
but we've never had a man swap at all.
But we know of twins that have, which...
Trip man.
Trip's me out.
I'm sure.
I feel like I only read about that in movies, but I know that has to be real, that they actually
do.
Yeah.
Oh, for sure.
Well, there was someone who had interviewed us and she told us like she dated one twin
for a bit and they broke up and then after a little
bit she started dating the other twin and I was like oh and maybe that's more they were
guy twins so maybe it's more guy twin thing. I feel like girls get too emotional about things or like
get grossed out and get the egg but I could see maybe Mel twins doing it more. That's so weird
though still. I think so. Mel twins I can definitely see doing it more? That's so weird those still. I think so. Oh, male twins, I can definitely see doing it more.
Yeah.
All right, while we're speaking about men,
what are different things you guys like and men?
Do you guys have totally different tastes than men?
I mean, your husbands are opposite, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, we thought they were.
Because you know, you hear professional ballroom dancer
and a professional wrestler.
So you're like, yeah, they're different.
That was my thought exactly. Right. Yeah, And then we're like, well, wait, they both have beards.
They both, well, Brian, her husband doesn't drink at all. Mine barely drinks. They are very
into health and wellness and fitness and healthy brains, like all of it inside and out. So sweet,
so, so sweet, very sweet men.
They love the outdoors.
So when we started to break them down and this just happened recently because of our show,
we were like, oh my gosh, they're so like we never thought we'd ever marry guys that
were really what feels different as their profession.
Yeah.
Of course.
Very different.
And for my listeners that are listening right now and don't know, Bri is married to a professional wrestler,
and Nikki is married to a professional ballroom dancer.
He's on Dancing with the Stars, right?
Yes, he does.
Yes, so opposite, but you're saying their personalities
and their love for family,
and the way they treat you guys is very similar.
Yes, sure.
And how they look at life and how they live life, it's why.
And you even think when it comes to their careers,
they're very like, they can't do too many things at once.
They have their one career.
One thing they focus on.
They can only focus on that, nothing else.
I mean, when you think about it, it's crazy
that it's the same.
It's the same.
And I mean, you know, as women,
we can handle like a lot.
So we give them one task.
Because we both will be like, oh my gosh, we can only give them
one task.
They can't do it all.
But when we were growing up, we were in a very different guy.
She was like rockers, skaters, and mine were like hardcore jocks.
And so if you looked at like all of our exes and like from middle school on up, they were
night and day different.
They were.
Yeah, right?
Tattoos would have been the only same thing with some of them. Right.
You know, Mark Owen Richie, like they were so opposite,
but yet they had like covered in tattoos. For sure. Yeah.
Love it.

All right, well, let's talk about twin love for a second.
It is a new show that recently just came out on Amazon
Prime, right? It's a dating show. I love this for you guys. It's a dating show about twins,
though. Correct. Give us a little talk to me about this. So it's a reality dating show
with twins also as a social experiment. So what's really neat about this is
it's from the creators of Love Island. So you're gonna get those Love Island vibes
but take it up and notch and make it more of a social experiment. So we bring on
10 sets of identical twins and what they don't know until they arrive to
Bri and I is that we split them up and create two identical houses. So there's a
Nikki house and there's a Bri house. And where we wanna see the social experiment kick in
is do these twins fall for the same twins
when they're in the house, do they date the same?
There's all these different studies with twins
because when Archer started to learn about the science
behind it, they realized that identical twins,
and there's a difference between identical and paternal,
but they get married later on in life.
They just feel like they're born with that soulmate.
So an identical twin is never yearning for that partner that you would have to live
the rest of your life with.
And then it's fun because we bring in the reality dating aspects.
So you get a lot of the sexiness and the drama.
But of course, we have to throw in twist and turn.
So we bring in bombshells, what we call.
So we will throw in twin bombshells during the show.
And when you get towards the end of the show,
the twins that have fell in love separately,
we throw them all into one house,
then to see how these twins are with their twin back in the house.
So there's so much to take in every episode, but you're so hooked.
And the show's been out and you can binge it on prime video.
And people have been so hooked on this.
Like, our reviews have been incredible and our ratings.
And we've been really, really pleased.
But even we were obsessed going to set every day
because I was like being an identical twin.
So, Bri and I have been through this journey
where these twins are, but not just to see the love aspect
of it, but to see these twins like find their individual growth because we're bringing in younger twins and
When we give them the news is separating them like when you watch that first episode you cry almost with some of them because they get so upset
Like they cannot believe we're splitting them up, but it's it's fun and I'm like a reality dating show person.
And so then I get all those fun sexy vibes.
Like we made them do challenges and stuff
and it gets pretty sexy.
Yeah, I love it.
I love it.
Well, studies do show.
I did see that you guys mentioned this too,
but that identical twins, they do start dating later.
They lose their virginity later.
They get married later in life and everyone else.
And that's for the rate. That makes sense of what you said that they just feel like they have
a companion before they were even like entering the world, right?
They're like totally good.
Yeah, even when you're married and sorry, I breathe in, I want to talk.
Even in our marriages and we still have to work on this at 40, like your spouse naturally
is just the third will.
And that's like a lot of these
issues when these twins start talking about their exes and stuff. That's like what happens and a
lot of people can't handle that. We're lucky. Our men can, but our mom will still call us. And like,
are you guys putting your men first? Make sure you're putting your husbands first.
And it's so bad. But there's not the only one who does that. That makes me so happy.
But mother's not the only one who does that. That makes me so happy.
To not have marked out, literally, we'll just check in constantly.
Like, are you being good to Joe today?
He worked so hard.
Like, are you, like, he's, she's always making sure that Joe is like number one.
That is so funny.
I love to hear that happens.
That is so good.
I love that.
Yeah.
Why do like a strong women, we have to get the reminders, right?
Yeah. I feel like that's like we're all very strong.
But the best part is like when we get the reminders, we're always like, I
browse up like not as hard as me, but sure.
Yeah. I want to know what I want to do.
Exactly. My mother will be like, why are you sitting? Did you get your husband,
a plate? Your husband's tired. Give it like I'm like relax
I'm tired. I actually worked five jobs. Yeah, it's well, but it's always yeah about Joe. It's so funny
I mean, I guess it's better than her hating them right then
Exactly right way better that one our mothers want us to take care of our men. It's it's cute. It's a good thing
It is yeah, But you know,
it's so funny though, like you talking with the twin love stuff is we've been interviewing a lot
of the twins on our podcast and it's crazy because when we asked them all, what was your favorite moment
filming? How many of them said reuniting with my twin? Wow. Because we split them up. And I was like, but twin war, some like liked their individual part, but of course,
when they reunited.
And I think that's when you just, when it comes down to it and the social experiment,
aspect of it all is that crazy bond twins have.
Yeah.
It's sometimes better, not better.
It's all we know.
Yeah.
This is all we know in the world. This is this other person.
You know, that just started from the womb.
And so, and especially identical twins,
like when you break it down, it's like one egg split.
So there's that, there has to be that energy there, you know?
That's where fraternal is different.
And identical is like get like why they were like Amazon
or Prime Video was like only identical twins in this.
Like nothing else. What was ITV? They're like, no fraternals. We want the identical bond of
these twins. And now I get the difference. After doing this show and like watching, I'm like,
oh, that was smart. Because I was like, why not fraternal? Like, you know, they're twins.
And I'm like, oh, I get it. That's the scientific part of it. Yeah, of course. And it makes sense. I mean, and you guys can confirm there. Is there,
I mean, are there identical twins out there that are probably not close or have not bonded? I mean,
I'm sure it's not just like a must, right? In every situation. Are all the ones on your shows
very bonded and closed? The one that's on your show? All the people on your show.
Insane.
Yeah.
Crazy close.
Yeah.
Live together, not all of them, but majority of them live together.
Some, at that point, had never been a part.
One was like, well, yeah, I mean, for a bitch, she was sleeping upstairs and I was sleeping
downstairs, same house.
And then I was like, I don't know if that's really being a part.
But yeah, I mean, a lot of them went to college together, dorm together.
It's separable.
It's worked together.
Yeah, inseparable.
And so that's why this was a big deal.
And they all had a quarantine because when we shot, it was still kind of in that stage
where you had a quarantine before you came on the show and all the things. So I was like, oh my gosh,
she's going to be extra hard for them because they all were in a hotel just
with their twin by themselves. Yeah. For like 14 days before entering our villa.
And then there's no cell phones, there's no, no communication. Every now and then
we would tease them with videos so they could see what their twins up to
because if we saw one twin
Finding love and the other one wasn't because we would do eliminations and our eliminations were sad
Yeah, if someone got eliminated in the house
They would have to go to the other house and everyone be standing there
Like who's gonna walk through the door and then whatever twin walk through the door?
How to grab their twin even if they were in a relationship and take them away?
I love this. What a relationship and take them away.
Wait, I love this.
What a great concept for a show.
I absolutely love this.
You'll binge.
And that's me.
I like when I can binge and watch every single thing,
like on a Sunday.
Yeah, I love that.
That's my favorite kind of TV.
So this will be the one to visit.
It is a perfect Sunday.
And we should have had more episodes
because there was such great content.
So they get a lot in and is it eight or nine episodes nine?
Where everyone has said it since they've watched series like wait, but we wanted more because
It's just there was so much more you could have had but you know, you only have your episodes that you get purchased in the beginning
But it's a quick binge. Well, you know what this honestly this isn't your first
You know venture into reality TV
because you guys have been doing reality TV for so long.
You had total bellows, that aired for like six seasons, right?
Which that was more focused, I would say, on your lives,
but now you're out there hosting Twin Love,
and I have to ask, like, what was it like to be on the other side
and hosting opposed to having like what was it like to be on the other side and hosting
opposed to having it be all about you and the stress of like showing your own life on
reality TV.
Yeah.
Right.
You're like, it would have made me.
It was fun.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But you know, I have to say it makes us better host in a way because we won. We know the things to say to them,
to bring out something and just help guide them.
I think they thought it'd break down the walls.
Yeah, and I think they felt safe too,
knowing Nicole and I've been there, done that.
Like we've had to put our feelings on the table.
And so we kind of would remind them like,
hey, someone's gonna watch us
and feel exactly what you're feeling.
Like you're not the only person in the world, so don't hold back. Yeah. And it definitely helped,
but it was nice to sometimes be back. I hate saying backstage, but kind of, and watching them all live,
and I'm just like kind of like sitting there, sitting there, sitting in my tea, like,
like, what's next? We go sit in the producer rooms and just watch them all like live their life like when we'd come on to set
But yeah, it was nice the the one heart thing for me because I also
Sparmageddon which is on USA with Blake Shelton and Carson daily and yeah, it's been an incredible show
We have season two out right now. We are episodes our Monday nights
But when I go and do twin love like when you are host of a dating show like this
You have to come in and be very serious and you have that one chance to deliver your lines because if you mess it up
Then you're messing up their emotions now. They're they're out of it
But so whatever news you're gonna deliver them deliver to them
You have to just get that one take to them and you have to be serious because if you come in smiling,
hey guys, then they're more,
then they like kinda like,
oh yeah, you like whatever.
It was fun.
Yeah, but that would be the hardest for me
because I would wanna like smile
or like just wanna like hug him or something,
you couldn't do any of that.
You had a couple of mis-comal colds
so they'd be like, what is she about to say?
You had to go very slow or pause,
have like two minute pauses,
and you know in TV,
and that's a long time,
with people just staring at you.
You're like, okay.
But it was amazing.
Yeah, it was funny,
because for me, it was easy.
I was able to come in,
like very cold,
and they called her bad news, Bree.
I gave bad news too,
but I couldn't help
give my times little way. I had my stern times. Yeah.
But then my other times, I was like, well, who better
than to get? I mean, when you've been on reality TV and you
know the ins and outs and you kind of know, you know, how
difficult it is sometimes to share your personal life or
your stories, I'm sure there was a sense of comfort with all
of the twins on your show knowing, and you guys were able to make them feel safe,
basically, and at home.
So I can imagine how to do it.
Totally.
Well, like, I have a question for you.
How is it when you guys always go into your dinner parties?
Are you just like, okay, I don't even know
what shit's gonna go down the night, but it's crazy
because when it's a dinner party
and you're showing up, which I say dinner party
or it's a full cast event, meaning you're not just going
to meet one girl to talk about what happened yesterday
or you're not going out with the family to like, you know,
pick pumpkins.
When there is a full cast event, you just know it's on.
Like, you know you're walking in,
someone is dropping a bomb somewhere,
something ridiculous is gonna get said,
or even if there was no pre-planned situation
with any of the girls, I'll give them a benefit of the job.
Someone's gonna act a fool at the table
because there's just too many people there to like sit
and everybody wants to be a star or whatever it is. So someone's
going to say something that's going to, you know, piss you off or send you off the edge or whatever
it is in every sense. Like, so it's actually really good question. We do know that when we're
walking into like the dinners or the full cast events that like it's stressful. It's so stressful.
I can see that. Or like your reunions? Oh my goodness.
Yeah, it's kind of like our pay per view event.
Like you guys, like you guys.
Yeah.
Who's getting ready to rumble?
The Royal Rumble, who's coming out.
Wait a second, the funny is I was in glam
before one of my reunions and it's on my Reels on Instagram.
But like, you know, my glam's glad
it's like glowshing me up and glowing my my chest and I'm just playing Rocky in the background.
I'm like, yeah.
I'm just like, I'm crazy.
What? Let's go, bitches.
Serious. Honestly.
You know, it's been incredible to me to watch like, especially like the past decade. And I don't know if it's blown your mind, but like how huge this franchise has become
like Bravo Con and the following.
I mean Bravo is such a powerhouse now.
Has that blown your mind?
It has blown my mind.
And I feel like I've been there
since they weren't a huge powerhouse.
They had cloud and it was the house wise
we're getting known.
It was the first couple years and to watch what they have done in the last decade is it's
pretty insane.
And sometimes I do sit back and say, wow, Melissa, like, you know, I was a 32 year old girl,
31 actually put on to this like reality show.
And I just do knew that I would have this opportunity to be on a network that blew up like this.
And it is crazy. And sometimes I say to myself, I'm like, is it ever gonna end?
Like every year, it's like, here comes the renewal. We're gonna do it again. And I think about things like you guys are doing right now, right?
Like, what would I do next? What would I want to post next? What would I want to do?
Like in the TV space after this, like what's next?
But like it never ends.
So I don't know, I don't know.
I just like, I like to have this podcast
where I get to like talk to people like you guys,
I get to be unfiltered a little bit
and like speak my mind.
I have a clothing store, so I have envy
that does awesome.
So I, you know, that's a big thing for me.
But I do always kind of think about like, how long and the fact that Bravo has blown up
just the way it has.
Do you guys watch Housewives?
Do you have like a favorite Housewives show or franchise that you guys like love?
You know, it's I, I'm, when I have time, like in the past, I mean, I feel like I never
watch reality shows anymore.
It's been like love Island. Like I got I feel like I never watch reality shows anymore. It's been like
love Island. Like I got really hooked on that, but UK. Love Island UK and maps Australia was like my
like my thing I'd go binge and I'm trying I watch a few episodes of the Beverly Hills house wives
because Bree and I like I love Garsell and we got close with Garsell. But I'm like how every time
I've watched I go oh my gosh I need to get intosell. But I'm like, how every time I watch, I go,
oh my gosh, I need to get into this.
And then I feel like because I was already so far behind
and there's so much to watch that I'm like, I can't catch up.
Like, they're so into it.
Like, I don't know where to even begin or start.
Like, I feel like I have to be like,
just out of this one franchise and start there.
And like start from the beginning.
Because there's a lot now.
But I feel like that's all I see on social.
I feel like I catch up with all of you.
I feel like I know everything because of social media.
You guys run it.
And I love it.
That's where I feel like I get all my tea on everything.
Oh, look at what's going on now.
We're, you know, that's a crazy part of how.
You can literally sit back and watch Instagram
and be like, oh, that happened, that happened.
You're caught up watching Instagram.
Yeah.
It's frustrating, but it's actually really what goes on.
Like, they'll like replay the scene.
The important scenes, right?
So you're like, oh, okay, I just saw that happen.
You'll know where everybody's at just from that.
This holiday season, Peloton is your stage
to work out your way.
I love my Peloton so much.
It's just the convenience of being in your own home.
You save the drive to and from the gym.
There's nothing like it and it kind of gives you no excuse.

You don't even have to leave your house to break a sweat.
Peloton bike is like my absolute favorite thing these days.
The Peloton bike gives you the freedom to move,
how you want to move, how you want to ride, spin, sweat,
and sing like nobody's watching, which we all know I do each and every day.
Why not bring a Peloton bike plus home for the holidays
so that you can work out your way?
Have you ever wanted to try a climb, a hit, or a low impact ride class? Well, now you can work out your way. Have you ever wanted to try a climb, a hit,
or a low impact ride class?
Well, now you can.
Wanna hop off the bike and pivot the screen
to do a bar, strength, or yoga class?
You can do that too.
Make yourself uncomfortable in the comfort of your own space.
You'll find classes and instructors
that'll keep you coming back for more.

Well, before I talk to you guys about the holidays and Christmas, I just want to, you know,
go back to twin love for one second. I want to talk about that there's like a twist, right?
There's a little twist at the finale. There's like a twist, right?
There's a little twist at the finale.
There's like, you know, we could tease the finale a little bit without giving it away,
but I did hear that there's like some fun twist at the end, you know, without spoiling it.
Can you talk to us about that a little bit?
Can we kind of say?
I mean, I think.
I mean, were you surprised of what went down and like how it ended, were you guys in shock by it?
A little bit, I was in shock who won.
And then, but the twist, I loved it.
And I'm like, oh, ITV is so genius.
I mean, you could pretty much say.
I feel like it could be so.
They, you got to win money, but it went like where we handed them two different
cards. You didn't know who was going to get the money from the winning couple. And then whatever
couple like flipped it, then we stepped in and we go, so now you could decide, do you want to
give half of that to your twin or to your new valve? And you have to think twins like they know
what each other are going through.
And like think when you're your young 20s
and like struggling with stuff,
like I think I'd be like a breed.
Right.
And so that would mean it's shocking.
It's really good.
And you can see the twins really thinking about it.
They're like, oh, like it is a big moment
and it is really hard.
And we're not going to say who they what they picked, but you'll have to watch that.
We want to, yeah. It's good. Especially their reactions are so good because they're like,
we're like, all right guys, well, you guys, all my listeners, you guys need to check out.
There's nine episodes. They're available, right? On Amazon Prime right now. I have to ask though, is there going to be like some type of reunion?
Do you guys do anything like that? Is there anything like that in the works?
We've been hoping for that, but I don't know. I feel like so much times pass because we got
affected by the strikes on like our drop. So I feel like the twins have been out of the villa too long and our last ones
just broke up and we're like, oh, and I feel like there's just, if you don't have your reunions
quick, too much happens on social media. And it's not. And it just makes networks go. Yeah, they're
like, I mean, all this has already happened and they all did these things. So we've been just
interviewing them on our podcast and trying to create in our own reunion there. But look, I still think there's money
in putting them all in the same room because as you know, like you just never know what's going to
happen. And it always takes for one person to say something where someone else gets triggered.
And then you're like, oh, right, we got TV gold now. So so we'll see. All right, good. Well, I think
you should fight for that. I love a good reunion on every show. So, so we'll see. All right, good. Well, I think I should fight for that.
I love a good reunion on every show.
I love a good reunion.
Me too.
I love a good reunion.
I know.
All right, well listen, you guys are my episode right
before Christmas.
So everyone right now is prepping for Christmas.
So tell me what Bri and Nikki do for Christmas.
Ooh, yes.
So we do a really Christmas Eve.
Our grandfather started this tradition when we were like babies, but we do a drummer boy
dinner.
So we cook up a real nice Italian meal, which is my grandmother's recipe.
And then before we eat, we line up the kids and we even get in line.
Yeah.
Youngest to oldest.
And we put a beancaus Bing cosplay drummer boy on repeat and we march around the house pointed all the nativity sets and
Then we called her drummer boy dinner and that's like our yearly tradition
Yeah, I love that. It's just so special. I've never heard anyone do this before
I have like some crazy ones, but this is great. Yeah
And then we thank you and then then we sing Happy Birthday to Jesus,
blow candles, and it kind of just makes us,
our family, realize like what the holiday means for us.
And the importance.
Oh my God, guys, I love that.
Which one of you cooks?
Either of you cook for Christmas or no?
Shh.
She's a better, a better, a better, a better.
She's a better, a better, a better, a better.
Yeah, a better, a better, a better.
She's a better, a better, a better, a better.
I have some good dishes. Like when I do get in there, I'm not bad. So that's better. That's better. I'm not saying that. Yeah, I'm not saying that, right? I have some good dishes.
Like when I do get in there, I'm not bad.
So that's great.
Well, I told you, this year you're making your cheesecake.
Yeah, I make a good cheesecake
and just made it for like a decade.
Oh, I love it.
So it's back in my like single era.
Yeah, I make a hell of a cheesecake.
But you know, yeah, it's been a long time.
No excuses.
Okay, I'm gonna do it.
As long as I can drink.
Yeah, I do it.
That's okay.
Of course you can, no.
Unheard of taking.
Wait, Nikki, real, real or fake, Trinicky?
Fake, brie.
Yeah.
I have a real one.
You have a real one?
I do.
I get a mini-real one for my son.
Because I have to at least go do the tradition.
We have to go to Tril tree lot but for mine it's already
with the lights and everything. And and so I have a fake one from
the first year Brian and I moved in together we had our like
first Christmas in our apartment. So the tree's like over 10
years old. My gosh, don't worry. Yeah, that's we got in San
Diego and Pacific Beach. Wow. That one definitely doesn't have
this thing where you just click it and it turns on then.
Oh, no, no, it's all done.
Oh, I doubt it.
Yeah, no, I can't.
I still keep that one.
The lights need to be pre on the tree now.
I don't know, back in the day,
we used to wind them up and they didn't,
I don't understand how we did that.
But, oh, because I got a real,
because we did a real tree this year,
you have to see how mine are so lopsided because I'm like
What the like just throwing it behind the tree and trying to catch it and so hard?
It was so hard, but you know what I let go this year because I'm one of those who like I like to decorate and I have a spot for everything
This year I let my kids fully take control of the Christmas tree and I didn't move an ornament or nothing
I'm like, you guys
go. And they did a great
job. They did. They did a
really great job. But you
know, I'm one of those
moms who can be like a little
fidgety. Like, I want this
decoration here. Where? But
I let them do it all. And it
was so much fun to watch
them, even though they got
in a big fight towards.
Oh, my God. But that's the
fun of it all. That's the
best part. Wait. So you guys big on Christmas? So is Christmas
Eve like the big night and Christmas
days more chill and the sweatpants?
Yeah, totally staying Christmas
pajamas as long as you want.
Just eat leftovers and
not even though I want to get the
tamales at the farthest market.
There's a woman that always has her homemade tamales.
And so that's like the fun Christmas day stuff.
Watch football, just enjoy, play outside, go on walks.
That's exactly what my family does.
We do a secret standout between me and my cousins.
And we have to make up a wrap about who the gift is for
because we pick out of a hat.
Nobody knows.
We pick them.
Oh my God.
We each take a turn standing up and sing this rap. And then you have to like about
the person we're giving the gift to. It's actually historical. All of my, I'd say all
of my followers tune in every Christmas to watch the, the, the rap with my cousins.
That is amazing. That is so we might have to still well, you know,
we're drummer when people look forward to this,
I'm telling you they get me.
They're like, oh, I got a tune in.
I'm gonna tune in and watch because when we,
before we all got spouses and had kids,
our cousins, we all did drummer boy together.
That's yeah.
And we did a secret Santa.
Yes.
But we never wrapped about each other.
I know.
We'd roast each other.
We'd roast each other.
But we know what our wraps are kind of like,
they start off as like
a roast and then we end up being nice towards the end of the wrap.
And then there's like, then somebody wins.
So like the adults, I say the adults, but the older adults, they will.
The aunts and uncles and the parents of us decide who won the wrap every year. And like, you know, who, oh my God, it's, your family sounds just like us.
Yeah, we are a party, like, enjoy the moment, live life, take the memories to,
we are that family.
Like, that's us.
I love that.
You all live close.
Yes, we all live.
I'm a little more up north.
I'm like next to New York City where my family is all closer to the beach
like by the shore. But it's only within like an hour, hour and 20 minutes.
So it's close enough that we're all together all the time,
especially because I'm like in New York.
So they just come to New York all the time and see me, which is, yeah,
which is great. How fun.
Yeah, so much fun. So much fun.
Listen, girls, I absolutely love having you guys on today
You're as sweet as I knew you would be guys are awesome
Set of sisters. I love how you guys work together. You support each other

Well, Mary Christmas guy.
You see you kill it on your wrap.
I know.
I bet. Can we get a little bit of cheese of your wrap?
Have you written it? I mean, no, because I haven't written it yet.
I'm the girl who writes it while we're driving down.
Like as I'm driving to my
cousin's house, I'm writing while everyone else has been doing it for weeks. And I just
like, but this year I swear I'm going to take a couple days before and I'm going to win.
I want to win. Yeah. Honestly, it's your year. It's my year. I'm getting hyped up now
here. And you guys talk about it. I need to win. I'm going to do a wrap on you.
Go.
I'll roast the heck out of you.
Oh, you guys, you guys, we would all tune in to watch you guys
do a little secret channel wrap.
I love it.
I love it.
All right, girls, thank you.
Mary, Chris, with you, with you, with you.
Maybe there'll be an NBC event.
Yeah.
I hope so.
And then we can all get some wine and chit chat. That'd be fun. have a lot of fun. I would love that. I would love that. All right.
Thank you, girls. Thank we're gonna miss our flight.
We didn't finish the promo.
Can we just record it on the plane?
I will not be that person.
What if we record it in the bathroom?
Yeah, no, that is disgusting.
