Starting point is 00:00:00 And if anyone's seeking anyone for money in this relationship, I'm using him. Let me be real. I took everything. What's up everybody? Welcome to another episode of Melissa Gorga on display. I am so excited about this one today. We have this beauty is in the house. You know her from the ladies of London
Starting point is 00:00:31 and the newest housewives franchise, the real housewives of Dubai. She also hosts her own podcast, Divorce Not Dead, which is a circle. And I was just a guest on that as well. Ladies and gentlemen, today I have Miss Caroline Stan Barry. Woo!
Starting point is 00:00:50 That was a deep answer. Thank you, Mrs. And she has the cutest little palm in her hands. Oh my God, he's adorable. She's her key. The test. Oh my God, so, so, so cute. I'm obsessed with palm ingredients.
Starting point is 00:01:02 All I can, he's totally black and all I can see is his little pink tongue. He's so cute. I'm obsessed with pomeranians all I can he's totally black and all I could see is this little pink tongue He's so cute. How are you? I'm really good. I've just had the most bizarre day of literally come back from tick-tockin with Jason Gerulo Which is exactly what anyone does at 47 in Dubai First of all, he's like the tiktok king He's like he like I feel like he invented it. He made us all start watching it, especially during the pandemic.
Starting point is 00:01:27 What TikTok did you do with Sergio and Wilderness? Cool, Sergio was involved in it. Actually, I mean, hold on to your hats, but I mean, I don't wanna speak out of turn. You never know, but he did say he's gonna post it first tonight. So he's like, okay, he's gonna be a TikTok king. But if not, if he doesn't, but whatever reason, he did take all our handles, if he doesn't, then we're going to post it, but I'm waiting,
Starting point is 00:01:49 but I think he will. Um, which we might become tick tock famous. Very picture for sure. First of all, how did you meet him? Do you know him? Is he a friend of yours? No, never met him before my life. Um, He is business partners with one of the other housewives, Sarah. Okay, so you set it up. Well, listen, it's kind of funny because we were joking when I was on your podcast that we do wear many hats, right? That the housewives just wear so many hats. We're business women, we're social media influencers,
Starting point is 00:02:21 just by, it just happens, right? So I have to ask, ask, which hat is your favorite to wear? Because you're so many things as well. You know, it was funny because we were doing the sort of chit chats and producers about what our stories would be if we had a season two. And I was like, well, last season, it looked like I didn't even have a business know it was so focused on my marriage and everything else and actually I have a shoe line. I have a podcast. I have, I'm working on a massive project in Bali, I'm working on just all these different things and I've got kids and I'm just always so manic. I'm the face of many different companies here in Dubai and I don't know then like they're like, well, how do we follow any of those?
Starting point is 00:03:05 Because there's so many. And I'm like, you're right. So I've got to come up with which one's my favorite. I don't know. I love them all for such different reasons. I mean, who I'm the face of one of the largest hotel groups in the world. So I get to see luxury hotels all the time
Starting point is 00:03:19 when you see me traveling around the world. Which girl doesn't want to have a shoe line, and I'm in sacks and revolve and Neiman Marcus. And it's so exciting. I don't know. I don't know. I should really say motherhood. Should I?
Starting point is 00:03:33 I mean, I think, you know, that's like the typical answer, but we're trying to step outside of the lines here. So I think having a shoe line probably is one of the most exciting things, right? That's like, first of all, I don't think I knew that. So that's news to me. Congratulations, that's awesome. We'd like to send them to you then. Yes, please, please do. My husband and I are actually secret wannabe hoteliers. We've been working on one for ages and it's sort of, we got the land, we got the money, we raised the money, then they took the land from us and then we had, so we, we're getting we didn't have the money, then they took the land from us, and then we had, so we, beginning we didn't have the money, then we had the land, then we got the land,
Starting point is 00:04:07 and sorry, then we got, then we raised the money and lost the land. So we're still, we have all the project, now we're looking for land abroad to watch this space, but I feel like we're always working on a new project, we get super excited by, and I think the hustle is life, isn't it? Yes, yes't it? Yes, yes, it is actually exactly just that. Hey, let me ask you this, what was the difference for you?
Starting point is 00:04:31 Is there a huge, what do you like better? I mean, obviously you're on the ladies of London. What is the biggest difference between the two shows with now being on the Real Housewives of Dubai? And I know Dubai is such a new show, but have you filmed the second season yet? No, no, we're at the end of, we're in talks for second season. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:51 I get asked this question all the time. I think the immediate thing is the backdrop is completely different obviously. I'm a completely different woman, so that's the new life. And I'm a huge business back then. And I think, you know, I was sort of drowned with sort of, I had 86 or 7 employees. It was a nightmare. You know, now I think I'm a much nicer softer person. And I was doing it, we talked about this when you came on my, my podcast. I was doing it with my family. And as much as we all love, or our families, it's very difficult because if you have any skeletons,
Starting point is 00:05:30 they know where they are. If you have any buttons, they know where they are. They know how to push them. They say now. And I don't think there's anything like family that can make you go from zero to 1,000 faster. So I think at the beginning when I started this, I had many holy fuck moments where I was going to all shit, you know, I'm back. And then
Starting point is 00:05:52 suddenly I relaxed into it and I was like, what do I care? I don't care about these women. Like, I mean, you know, I like them, they're my friends, but what do I really give a shit? What they think with my marriages fake or my this is that, you know, I know who I am. That's it. So I think it's different, it's easier. Well, speaking about your marriage, for those who don't know, Caroline is 46. 46.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Okay, and she is married to a 28 year old, a very nice handsome 28 year old Sergio. I actually got to meet him at Bravo Con for the first time and Joe got to meet him. It was so funny. They definitely had like a bro man's right right from the start. I feel like they're very similar with their outgoing personalities. really, really well. Did you get a lot of slack for having married a 28-year-old? Do you get questioned about it often? How does that go? Well, what do you think, Melissa? I think you do. I think you do, but you know what? Now in today's age, like, no, it's not that odd. Women sleep with 28-year-olds. They don't marry them. That's the thing. I think everyone's year olds, they don't marry them, that's the thing. I think everyone thought I was having a midlife crisis, you know, I was married to a man one year older than me, and a very normal family, not that I'm not normal now, but like, you know, it was just, you know,
Starting point is 00:07:17 a typical sort of with Jewish family, very nice, and then, you know, I was in Bali just now on the back of a motorcycle with Sergio going across Bali and we were laughing because I was videoing it and I was going can you imagine what my kids must think when they watch this, their mom's gone mad you know she's riding across Bali on the back of her motor cycle with her 28 year old husband because I'm going if any of my girlfriends did this, I'd be like, what the actual fuck, they're all like normal.
Starting point is 00:07:51 And I am riding across Bali on the back of my 28 year old husband's motorbike, having the best time in my life, by the way. And I just think, I don't know why I am the way I am, but obviously we got everything. He's with me for money. Well, he definitely had a good job before. He was at Real Madrid for seven years paid.
Starting point is 00:08:11 I used to add on what other girls on the show would like to think. He was paid. And no one can just turn up and sit at Real Madrid. And then he got his masters. And he was, then he got his masters, and he's clever, he got his masters, he got his degree in business and marketing in UCI in America. And that's when I met him.
Starting point is 00:08:36 So he looked, look, he was 24 when I met him, and I was 43. Would I advise many women to do this? No, it's not normal. I get that, but would I say to all women that all men are the same? No, they're not. Sergio is a different kind of fish. We've been together for this. If he was just here for money and for fame, he could have gone a long time ago. He lived in LA for Christ's sake. There are much more famous women with a lot more money than I have. When he met me up in the late night, yeah, I was in an eight-year court case, almost with him
Starting point is 00:09:09 or me going bankrupt, not Sergio, me or the guy I was going across. If I had lost, I'd have gone bankrupt. So frankly, he was dating a woman that was in an eight-year court case with, who just got divorced with three kids. So I hardly think I was the catch of the centrooms, you. Now, well, listen, more power to you guys. I love it. I love, I hate that you would even have to defend it ever. But I can, especially being on a housewives show, I understand that they definitely have no choice,
Starting point is 00:09:38 but question you and ask questions. And that's obviously the platform that we are on, drama, drama, a lot of the time. But aside from the show in your personal lives, like was it difficult with your children to accept that he was so young or for his parents to accept that you were this successful rich and famous, like older woman to him, was that difficult within your families? Yeah, I mean, obviously, look, I have sons. And, you know, when when his mother and his father weren't over the moon, I it never really upset me not a horrible way because
Starting point is 00:10:11 I totally got it. If my parents, if my parents, my sons came home with a 43 year old, age 20, when you know, then he's like the prodigal son really, isn't he? Like, you know, he's a golden boy that went to Real Madrid, got his, you know, spent however long getting his masters and his green card and then, you know, meets this old, old woman in their eyes and moves halfway across the world and she's not even divorced yet. So, you know, I mean, I wasn't really expecting a big hug and a kiss. I was actually handled it pretty well considering the way it could have gone. So I'm actually impressed by the way they've handled it.
Starting point is 00:10:52 Obviously we had a few Rocky months. My parents on the other hand, I think, are, you know, they're sort of at the end of their lives. But they're older than wise, they're just sitting there and they're like, you know, whatever today makes you happy. Do it. Exactly. You know, so they never really, they know that I'm normal, normal. And my kids, you know, my kids are the same. They know that I've never really been normal. And I think they expect all of this rubbish from me and kind of find it,
Starting point is 00:11:23 you know, they're normal. And they have a very normal life, but they love mommy's crazy too. See, like I think that's a beautiful thing and I think it's funny when you say your parents are older and wiser because it's true. I feel like the older we get, the more we're just like whatever brings peace, right, and whatever makes you happy. And I mean, I've seen you two together. I am now following you on Instagram and Sergio and you guys really do seem like such a happy, authentically happy couple. So you guys are are so great. Do you get slack? Like on your show, do they come for you guys a little bit with with his age? Do they do that? Because I haven't seen it. So I don't know, are they coming for you that way? More than the age, it's, we get, you know, he's a good looking guy that always wants to be with me. So because he's good looking and always wants to be with me, clearly he's gay. Well, I mean, I can assure you, as you know, he's, no, uh, as of this morning and every other morning, no.

Starting point is 00:13:48 Well, that's the thing we talked about that a little bit on your podcast, which I absolutely loved and I would love for you to explain it to my listeners as well, because I obviously have a husband as well that wants to be with me all the time, right? Wants the spotlight. Not that he wants the spotlight, but he doesn't shy away from it. Yeah, he enjoys it. Not that he wants the spotlight, but he doesn't shy away from it. Yeah. He enjoys it. He looks at it like. So for my husband to come to the events with me, if we're everywhere together, if for him, it's like it's an experience we're going to do together in life and we're going to have fun together. That's the way Joe looks at it. And I know that Sergio is very similar and he's around. So they give you slack for him being around or explain to me how you pretty much explained it before on, people
Starting point is 00:14:30 just don't trust it. They almost don't want to trust it. I think what happens is because it's so rare. And it shouldn't be rare. But I think, you know, the way we were all brought up that to show emotion and love for someone is a weakness and I want to change that for my sons and show them and it's okay to cry and okay to tell a woman that they love them and it's okay to do all of these things. That our age group, maybe not Sergio's age group, really distrust it And there must be something wrong with him. So clearly he's hiding his gay obsession and clearly, you know, we're in a we're in a, and what did they call it Sergio? We're in a collaboration relationship. That's oh my goodness. I've never even heard of, which is I don't even know how you would get that, but okay. And you know, Sergio, they went for that more than they did everything else because, you know,
Starting point is 00:15:29 Sergio just wants the line like, well, again, as I've said very, very clearly, with or without the cameras, we live the same way. We're always together. So that's not true, it's just the way we live our lives. I think, you know, and because they don't get that, and they don't feel, they kind of want that, it's easier to distrust that and say, well, it's, you know, it's a collaboration.
Starting point is 00:15:50 They make money from being a couple. They do this, you know, so they don't really love each other. Well Sergio would have to be a bloody good Hollywood actor just to lie in bed with me for four bloody years now. Take on three children who it was very hard at the beginning. I'm sure. Like, you know, to change his life and be with me if he didn't love any of us at all and was just here for that.
Starting point is 00:16:12 So it doesn't make any sense. And if you know us, it's to love us. And I think people now, actually at the end of this as season, has really, really seen who we are. And that, you know, it's not true. You can't make this up. You cannot. I mean, I'm not that good of an action.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Well, with you saying that the women on the show distrust it, that is where you resonate with me because I've never really heard it said that way. But it happens with, you know, not all of the girls on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, but definitely there's a few that have always gotten on me because my husband backs me up so much or because he's always in the room
Starting point is 00:16:51 or because he, you know, has a say or he's by my side or if I go to an event, he's with me and, you know, we don't really travel too much apart, Joe and I, we want to travel together. It's not because we don't trust each other. It's because we don't really want to experience things without each other, right? We travel together whether we're on or off the show. That's just how we've always, and to be honest, the real housewives of New Jersey is what caused us to really sometimes have to not travel together.
Starting point is 00:17:20 That's where I'm doing these girls trips without him, which is, as always, been odd for me and weird for me. I've been with him for 18 years, right? And we never really, we never really did that. And I think sometimes the girls who don't have that are the ones who don't understand it or the ones who almost want to poke fun at it because it's something they don't have. There could, it could be a form of jealousy in a way or something that they secretly vulnerability, right? They want it and they don't have it. And you know, if they're if they're having a hard time and their husband's not by their side, they almost want to give you a hard time that your husband is because it's something that they don't have so they don't get it and they don't understand it.
Starting point is 00:18:05 Which to me always baffled me because it's just one of those things where I can, I've seen it literally live on our show that they will get on my husband for speaking up for me, but then they will also in the next scene be sitting down with their husband saying like, why don't you open your mouth? Why don't you defend me? Why aren't you here? Where are you all the time? So it's a huge double standard
Starting point is 00:18:30 and I think it's a true thing of, they just don't trust it because it's like, why do they wanna be around? They must be some type of fame whore, right? To want to be on camera so much. And I will say with Joe, he's just there when I'm filming on the show because it's real life events
Starting point is 00:18:48 and he's truly just with me, you know, and we spend a lot of time together. So I really do love how you explain the distrust in that because I feel like that's the best way to explain it. Well, I've been both sides of the coin. So I've had a husband that didn't want to be on it, on part of it's talk. He would literally come once the season ago, I'm off on a business trip and to explain
Starting point is 00:19:12 it, you know, and that would be it. Also that lived in another country two weeks of every month, so, and I used to watch, even you and Joe, to be honest, on TV and other people go, does that really exist? That's a load of bollocks, that's on, you know, for TV. Because I grew up in England, so in England, you know, men, men have brought up to go on boys nights and, you know, you definitely wouldn't choose your wife over the pub. You go to the pub. And that's just the way it is. And then I was like, maybe it's just an America and the movies and all this. And then when I got a Latin lover who literally from the day I I mean Sergio let's be clear from the day that I met him said I'm going to marry you pretty much that I'm going to be with you and I thought
Starting point is 00:19:58 he was joking because obviously I mean I know a lot of women in their 40s that sort of have a midlife crisis and sort of at the end of their marriages and then they find either the gardener, the poor boy, or God knows what. And if anyone's seeing anyone for money in this relationship, I'm using him, let me be real. I take everything. You got it all, you got it all.
Starting point is 00:20:20 He's assisting with his pretty face. I love it. Ha, I love that. I take everything. So I get it. I get where, why? They'll never admit it because it's like saying they're kind of satisfied with what they have.
Starting point is 00:20:38 But I know because I was there. And I was like, is that real? Does that really exist? Is a guy really want to hold you a hat 24-7? Does he wanna smuggle all the time? Let me tell you, there are, they do. And I found one. And as much as I sometimes go,
Starting point is 00:20:55 God, get out, give me a minute. I still love it. I love what I have to tell him to give me a minute. Right, exactly. And that's how I just happened to find one of those very early on at 24. So I think it was intimidating or interesting to many women because they were just like, why are you guys like, is this real? Do you really love each other this much? And, you know, I've been, I've definitely seen, but I love that you kind of have two perspectives on it.
Starting point is 00:21:23 So, um, you,. So you definitely know. You know, I always wonder why. I feel like, like, for real, girl to girl, let's just talk about this and let's be real. It's crazy how the housewives shows. There's housewives shows everywhere, right? There's not house husbands. I mean, why do women rule the reality TV world?
Starting point is 00:21:44 What do you think it is? Oh my god, no. I have just like whoever's watching out there, Bravo listening to this, there needs to be an ultimate boys trip. Oh my god. I agree. We have, honestly, I think they're going to do it eventually. If they just have to put the right personalities together
Starting point is 00:22:01 because they don't need to have too much security around. I'm going to have to say said, you're husband, Theresa, I mean, all of these men on, oh, it would be hysterical. I will say that. It would be TV gold. If they just handpicked the certain ones that are like, you know, that are a little bit more of the hams
Starting point is 00:22:20 than the other, right, with the big personalities, I think that it would, and don't doubt it. I know I've definitely said this to Andy before as well. So I don't think that it's totally ruled out. I don't think they would do it as drama based as I think it would be more of like a funny, fun, like, watch the guys, like, kind of like play with each other type thing. Yeah, can you imagine if they mix them all up and wanted to drama, because someone would end up in hospital. No, it wouldn't work. It wouldn't work. But this is someone's going to be end up in the pool. That's what would happen. But really, I mean, why do you think females run the reality TV world? Why? Do we open ourselves up so much more than
Starting point is 00:23:02 men do? Because women are ridiculous as well. And as much as I love my female friendships, they're ridiculous. Men don't walk into a room and go, look, I just got this last night. What do you think? It's sound wrong. I mean, they continually don't.
Starting point is 00:23:18 They don't go, they don't do, did you see? They don't gossip the same way. The only way men really gossip is if we're already in a fight, right? And they have to get into it. But guys aren't competitive as competitive with other guys. You say, look, Joe just bought this building and just heard you were going, what? You know, that's great.
Starting point is 00:23:38 That's great for him. A woman would go, how did they afford it? Who got it fair? Where did she get the found payment?? How did they fool it? Who got it fair? Where did she get found payment? Which fountain she go to? Here. It's ugly. Why did they paint it that color?
Starting point is 00:23:50 Those chandeliers are horrid. And they fraudulently got the money from the bank. Like, you know, I know her husband's fighting something else. So this is probably a sorry. It's like, you know, that that's what happens and if a piece of gossip is handed to a man it ends with that man. He doesn't then call six friends and go I've just heard this where's women do and that's just you know
Starting point is 00:24:16 the way we're wired. I'm guilty of all of the above two so it's you know we are a shame. Say that's the way we're wired. And we do things for other women, you know, when, when does a man say to you go and get Botox and go and get your hair done? Or I want to see you in that new YSL campaign look. They don't, okay? They just don't. Sergio says, my favorite is when I'm in a gene gene and a t-shirt, which is just,
Starting point is 00:24:44 you know, can you imagine if we just went around housewives and genes and t-shirts, I mean, that would be a disaster. And now, I mean, look how I'm doing this podcast today. I literally have a ponytail with no makeup on in a sweatshirt, see? This is the favorite. This is how he fell in love with me, see? Most men, most men do like it tone down. Most men like that. They like the no makeup. They like the ponytail. Joe for sure wants me in like a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt each and every day. He would like to take me out to dinner on a saturday night and a sweatshirt.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Like it was up to him. It's strange. I don't know why men. I think it's just, they don't like makeup, right? When they're touching you, they don't want to get it on their shirts. They don't want to get it on their clothes. They just like a messy bun.
Starting point is 00:25:24 I do believe most men, not all, but most men prefer a natural, more of a natural situation. And like when you wake up in the morning and you, you know, they like that. I don't know why, but they do. And it's actually convenient, right? I mean, you'd rather be that way. I'm going to just learn.
Starting point is 00:25:50 Hey, Fred and I lights bands. It's not only football, Friday Night Lights and Beyond, is an episode by episode discussion of the hit TV series, Friday Night Lights. Hosted by your truly Scott Porter who played Jason Street on the show, and my two wonderful co-hosts. Me, Zach Gilford aka Matt Saricin. And me, May Whitman, aka someone who wasn't on the show, but really, really loves it a lot. We will also bring on some special guests to answer your questions and tell you
Starting point is 00:26:11 about what's going on in our lives today. It's not only football, Friday night lights and beyond, coming soon wherever you get your favorite podcasts. Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose! But real quick, before we jump off the subject with Sergio, there was a question that I wanted to ask you and it might be a little personal. Is Sergio okay? Do you want to have any more children?
Starting point is 00:26:39 Well yes, we did, we froze our eggs a lot on my eggs. Well, at Embria, we froze an Embria last year. So we have a little baby boy on ice. And he really wants to go. But because, you know, if we start filming it up in January and I did last year, I look huge on screen and let me tell you, it's very hard to do housewives when you're hormonal. So I think I'm
Starting point is 00:27:06 going to wait and do another round and try and get it another egg or a little girl after the next season if we get it and then and then you know look at it then but yes he does of course he wants one but the great thing about him is he has said, if for whatever reason they don't, it doesn't work, he's okay with my children. So, well, that's a beautiful thing. I had no idea. I have you said this before?
Starting point is 00:27:36 Have you talked about this and that you had the little boy? No, no, no, they asked me at BravoCon, but yes. So we're very excited. We would like, we've made a baby room in the new house. Are you ready to like pull out the diaper bags and the strollers and do the whole thing all over again? Would you are you comfortable with that? No, I'm giving you such a, such a baby. You have it. You do it with surrogate completely. No, I'll do it, but it's gonna be his baby. He'll be doing all the work. He's gonna have to change his diapers late at night. He's gonna. Sergio, Sergio, you have to do it all. Been there, done that. It's your turn in life to experience what it's like when a baby has gas in
Starting point is 00:28:19 the middle of the night and they're screaming at like one a.m. three a.m. middle of the night and they're screaming at like one a.m. Three a.m. I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm
Starting point is 00:28:29 I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I love I had I was I was I was I was
Starting point is 00:28:37 I was I was I was I was I was I was I was I was I was I was I was I was I was I was I was
Starting point is 00:28:43 I was I was I was I was I was I was, when I met him was 24, so he's never been through any of this. So his first experience of making a baby is standing in a room by himself and jerking off into a pot. So he's like, this is not how, this is not how I picture baby making. Oh, so, I could romantic day. Like, if you see me, I made him romantic and then I was sitting in a room just, you know, yeah. This is modern day baby making.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Honestly, it's so much more common now, but that is, that's, I love that. I'm so excited. So like, even though he's going to do a lot of the work, honey, you're still going to bust out those, those diaper bags. You're still going to have the strollers. You're going to feel young. I always say that like having a baby is going to make you like I always said that because I at 40 was like, do I want another one? Do I? I don't know. I was very confused. Joe and I and I thought it would make me feel just you keeps your youth a little bit to have like babies around the house. I feel like you're going to feel pretty amazing having a little baby around. If, you know, I guess it doesn't want to do any other world basketball. I see see that like the
Starting point is 00:29:49 little baby face. I know it's going to pretty low. I'm just going to do it. Oh, for sure. 100%. Unbelievable. I love that. I did not know that good luck with all of that. Joe never helps me do anything. By the never changed the diaper never babies that never even knew where my children's school were like he was the worst but you have one of these one of these new generation guys lucky you that they literally do laundry they fold they do dishes they know how to use the dishwasher so you know my kids I literally come away to like like carry the papoos that thing here in the front just with the baby my when my kids. I literally can't wait to like, like, cut it with a papoo stuff thing here in the front. Just with the baby.
Starting point is 00:30:27 Like, when my kids want to come home at one o'clock in the morning, they know not to call me. I am not picking them up. They call him. Oh my God. Yeah, like see, we're missing the memo here. I think the best thing you could have done in life was go young, right?
Starting point is 00:30:40 I mean, cause it was all I'm tired. He's like, he's got energy still. He's 2080s. Like, I'll run's got energy still. He's 20, 80s. Like, I'll run out. No problem. I'll run out. I've got them in my daughter's. It's like 2 a.m.
Starting point is 00:30:49 It's 3 a.m. I just say I don't like my play. My seatbelt. I don't like my seatbelt. But I'm like, it's 2 a.m. How you looking right now? It's just that. Wait, and do you know Joe and I have the same fight
Starting point is 00:30:58 at one of my daughter calls at midnight. And she's like, a man of party picked me up. I look at him. He looks at me. I'm like, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, we're both like fighting over who's going to get in the cold car with our slippers and get
Starting point is 00:31:10 out of bed and go pick her up. It's drives us crazy. Never. She manipulates. That's like, I'm doing your five minutes from here. I ain't nothing about one hour. I'm like, no, please, sir, you, you take me, you take me because you're
Starting point is 00:31:22 so cool in the car. And then he's like, of course, his ego. His ego. You want me to take you to see your friends. And then, of course, and I'm like, she's like, when they get there, she's like, drop me to block down the road. She knows he's going to put the good music on. He's going to like, you know, he's going to have
Starting point is 00:31:39 a little jam session on the way there, right? I love that. Listen, this seems very convenient. I'm just saying, I'm just saying for all of the divorcee women out there, it doesn't sound too bad to go a little younger, right? It's 18 years. That's quite a lot. That's kind of funny. You were married for 18 years and then you found someone 18 years younger. So I know it's a double standard and obviously it's working amazing. So congrats to you too on that. You guys are like such a fun couple and so cute and beautiful. Like one of the most beautiful couples you really are. So I absolutely
Starting point is 00:32:19 love that. And what you guys success, I want to know as soon as you have babies cooking because I think that's so amazing. All right, we're going to end with this little bit that I do. It's called grilled with gorgah. OK, it's just some rapid fire questions. Just give me your answers. So that my listeners can learn a little bit more about you.
Starting point is 00:32:37 OK, who was your first celebrity crush? From Cruz. Who? Tom Cruz. Oh, of course. Yes, like when he was like in a commercial with the underwear that hall. Yeah, who doesn't love Tom Cruise. What is your favorite 80s song? Oh, goodness, probably some Tina Turner song. Really? Did you love did you go see her on Broadway? Did you see that show? Starting point is 00:33:06 Wow. She used to play in the front. And I met her a few times. Love Tina. Wow, that is like icons that is right there. That's pretty amazing. What is your biggest regret? I don't regret.
Starting point is 00:33:23 Good, good answer. I like that. What's the best decision you ever made then? Moving on. What is your pet peeve? What drives you crazy? Being interrupted when I need five minutes peace, just like a bananas. What's going? Daily, yes, daily ice cream at him. When you're in the bathroom and they just start knocking on the door. You just need, you've just had one of those days and you just put five minutes with nobody saying your name.
Starting point is 00:33:55 And then that's when he starts to download. And then the phone rings. Well, obviously before Sergio, what was your worst date? Did you have a date that went wrong between your divorce and Sergio? Yeah, I mean, over four surgeo, no, I went straight into Sergio, but before Sergio, I've had, I think being asked to share a pizza with a very rich ex-boyfriend,
Starting point is 00:34:17 pay for half at pizza heart, I think it's just like, what the fuck, thinking back now? Pay for half the pizza at pizza heart? Mm-hmm. Oh, Lord, I hope you got the deep dish. I know self-esteem, that's for sure. That's as there go. Okay, what was the first concert you've ever been to?
Starting point is 00:34:36 Oh, God, back in the day, would they go? Should probably like, prince or something or... Oh, you do all icons, status. I love it. Give me something about you that would surprise us. I'm actually quite emotional. Really? I see you so tough. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Do you cry a lot? Sometimes, yes. No, really? Ready? Yes. Okay. What is your favorite late night snack? Like if you're watching TV at night, what is in your hands?
Starting point is 00:35:10 Do you snack at night? Yeah, we do, unfortunately. Haribo, Jellies. We have a terrible addiction, both of us. Really? I haven't seen those in so long. Those are addicting. Okay, what was your first job you've ever had?
Starting point is 00:35:25 I, oh, you know, I came out of school and I went to a nightclub and I wanted to be a shot girl. My parents were furious. And where are you the shot girl? Did you pass the roses around to sell the rose red? I had a belt and then, you know, it was brilliant. It was so much fun. The little test tube shots that come out. That's funny. What is your favorite show that you're binge watching right now? Like what are you watching? Private members club in Chelsea is not what a private members club is in America.
Starting point is 00:36:00 I need to make that very dear. Very, very, very different situation. Very different. There's a lot of people who are Henry's, which is like, you know, posh kids, where we all grew up. We, it wasn't a private to debar. You can't.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Got it. I, you know, I'm the one that's been accused of being a stripper, so we're good. I got it. I believe you. I'm about myself. What is your favorite show right now that you guys are binge watching? Well, we've just started Yellowstone due to Patty Stanger. I told us to watch that. So I've just started that. And I'm about to watch, um, bling, but, but Dubai bling. I'm, because I've got a lot of friends on it. So I'm dying to see it. And I want to see if they're I can outdo us.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Okay. And then what I always end with, so I'm dying to see it, and I wanna see if they're out, do us. Okay, and then what I always end with, if the day is all about Caroline, how do you treat yourself? Like, what do you do to make it the best day just for you? So, get surgery, get surgery, to do everything you said. Yeah, I love to work from my bed. I will put my feet up, I will have a massage,
Starting point is 00:37:04 and I will have everything served to me in bed because I'm the least lazy person. So when I am lazy, I like to be extremely lazy. Like to the other side. All right, we'll listen, Caroline. This has been so much fun. I had a fun filled day with you today. We're just podcasting all day.
