by August 14th, which is this Sunday. At 1159 Pacific time, right? So free agents can sign new contracts on August 22nd by 12P. three-year deals are now allowed and the salary has increased to 55 so which ones are, oh, must distribute at least

50% of the price pool earnings to the players. What that means is that there you know how some price pool, you win $100,000, the organization gets a little bit of that, right? You don't know that because Optic has always given it all back to the players. But now obviously

with some orgs that take, that took more than 50%? I don't know. Damn. I don't know. Maybe. I don't know. I see that.

I'm like, here we know. Yeah. Yeah. What the fuck? Do I tank your team this season? Yeah. The good thing, listen, and this is something that I get to give up to Hasbro, too, because he, I mean, obviously he took a price pool at one point. to the players which is cool I don't think that it should apply I mean there's there's a lot of there's a lot of a lot of intricacies to that too because you don't know if if somebody's guaranteeing these players like a mega fucking salary so they got to make some of that back at some point especially if they're not selling t-shirts or being able to monetize the the player so I think this should be on a case-to-case basis you know what I mean it's got to be fair At the end of the day, if you lead with fair, it's fair. And I understand how 50-50 might seem fair. But some people, you know what I'm saying?

Like, we take very, very good care of our players. Always, always have. So I don't know. We'll see. It's good. I don't know how to feel about the three-year deal. But again, I'm not in an organization that needs to worry about that sort of stuff because obviously we have our players and they all want to stay.

but I don't know I think it's good for the players to get a little bit of security what do you think as players over there I mean three years Locking to happen in three years yeah I don't even feel like those kind of like regardless like if I was a player

and I signed that like I still know something could still happen like I'm not sitting there thinking I'm stuck for three years like something's going to come up yeah but think about the alternative right on year two you get the illy thumb and you can't play for that and you're just sitting there
