It's good. It's just him in theory because there are the two teammates.
And they're just, I'm just like, what's good?
I thought I was about to get dropped.
And then I hear theory, he's like, we got to get rid of Nesla, man.
And like right in my head, I'm like, yeah, fuck, yeah, we did.
I'm like, yeah, dude, I was feeling the exact same way.
I was like, dude, dude, he's pissing me off.
We haven't lost this scrimmon shit.
It's like so good.
But I was just like, it's either him or me.
Like, I was like, dude, right?
Fuck, we fuck that guy.
So then we dropped him.
Oh, you just not even trying to be funny.
He was fucked up.
Lucky 13.
of the E of the Optic podcast.
We have a new host, guest host today.
His name is Nick Mania Christianer.
Hello, hello, hello, I'm here.
You guys know who he is?
Do you want to introduce yourself?
No need to.
Here's a question.
I want to hear your opinion on this.
And this is from the comments.
I told you.
Nick read these things.
He's like, I don't have anything to say about any of this.
And I said, yeah, you do.
I didn't even look at him.
Here we go.
Those backlash over unpaid internships
in e-sports.
Are you kidding me?
What?
Nothing.
Keep going on.
Crying out loud.
So, anyway, I'm not going to say the name of the org because I think that's a dead issue now,
and I don't want to add on to that because it's already late and there's only to rehash it.
But the topic still stands, right?
Like internships in e-sports.
I thought internships were unpaid.
They are.
Some.
There's paid internships.
Okay.
But some are unpaid.
And people were like super anti-it.
They quoted me in the,
the article that DeSERdo put out is like, you know, this this hustle porn is what it's called.
Hustle porn?
Yeah, hustle porn.
Essentially what you do is like all you talk about is the hustle, the grind and like getting,
you know, getting the work done in order to get ahead and be successful.
They quoted my 24-7 thing.
What's up?
You're good?
I'm just selling a church, go ahead.
You heard porn and then your mind just went directly there?
That's a yeah.
A lot of other places, yeah.
It's still going.
It's still going.
Stop.
He's like, don't look out here.
He said all casual?
Anyway, so they quoted me, and they said that this is not the, this is not the message that we should be sending people.
And look, my comments on that and my, the way that I live my life is not for anyone.
It's not for everyone.
It's not about, you know, working every shit.
Like, it's, it's what?
It's 737.
All of my guys are still here.
They're mostly because there's no heat at their apartment.
But either way, like, we're here.
Well, except for him.
Hustling?
Hustling.
not for everyone and not everybody should take that approach but like i said in that don't get mad when
somebody who is hustling harder than you gets that gig over you facts sorry it ain't for everyone
you don't have to listen you don't have to like it i don't give a shit period quote me all you
want it's not like it's it's as simple as this if you don't want to work hard don't work hard
if you want to work hard if you want to talk about working hard talk about working hard
what else shit you're mean anyway so what do you think how do you feel interest is paid and
unpaid, what do you think?
I, to my knowledge, I always thought internships were just unpaid.
So you fucking get in there, you earn your spot, and then you get paid.
Yeah, but their point, now, for the record, Optic has never had any unpaid.
I wish I had an example of what they're even talking about, because I have no idea.
So there's this org that put out a post that said, hey, we're hiring an intern,
unpaid internship.
come learn the world of e-sports.
You know what I mean?
You get credit for that, for your college.
Now, one of my best friends ever in life,
his name is Hutch, Sean Hutchinson.
He's a super liberal.
He is anti all that.
One time I posted a contest that said,
hey, we need a new logo.
Whoever wins gets $1,000.
A bunch of people submitted their logos,
and Hutch is like, that's wrong.
You shouldn't have done that.
You should pay every single one of the people
that submitted that.
He said, you should pay every single one of the people
that submitted the logo
because they're putting in the work.
I don't agree with that.
And you can afford to whatever.
And I was like, ah, I don't know.
I thought it was like a contest.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
But I sort of get it.
But at the same time, I sort of don't because of the where, when I grew up, how I grew up.
Then I don't see it that way.
I don't agree with that at all.
No?
No, not at all.
That's like, I mean, I feel like an internship is like your foot in the door and in a certain space.
And then what you do with that, like, with your foot is up to you.
You know, you could, you could branch out and become something because of your internship.
It's just an operational.
opportunity in my head. That's how I view the
You just bust the whole door open? Yeah, it's just like
It's a free like you know what I'm saying? It's like getting picked up by a pro
Yeah, like a trial. It's like getting picked up by a pro team and you're either going to
clutch up or you're drop. Mm-hmm. And you pretty much get nothing out of it. Yeah.
Maddie wanted to work for free for me for a long time, right? Maddie.
Anyway, I don't know. I, I, the point was that this organization has like
large backing like billionaire backing, right? So they have the money to pay
somewhere. So that was like the main issue. And then they turned it into something else. They sort of
twisted into something else that wasn't. They quoted my shit in there, which I understand.
Like I get it. Like my lifestyle is not for everyone. But I don't know. My intent was more to,
it wasn't put out there in a negative way. So, you know, it is what it is. All right. I'm going to
give you guys a question. Oh, by the way, that question, it wasn't a question. It was a topic.
We got a question from the, what do you call it? From the common section.
from Brandon M.
who was essentially just last week talking about
what would fix the current state of war zone,
the current state of competitive Call of Duty,
the current state of not having the developers be as,
I don't know, I don't want to say ear to the ground
or in tune with the community
because I feel like they are,
but something in the background is like shackling them
from allowing them to do what we want.
So his simple fix, Brandon's, is Infinity Word works on Warzone,
Treyarch works on the Base Call of Duty.
and Slashhammer works on the competitive.
They made World War II rank system.
Do you think that would work?
I mean, it's tough to say, but, I mean,
the underlying problem is that in war zone,
there's no anti-cheat, and it's even, you know,
plagued our competitive scene now, too.
There's people cheating in these tournaments.
Until the anti-cheat.
I think the anti-chee is the first step
to growing war zone and competitive,
or not so much competitive, but mostly warzone.
I don't think it really depends on if Infinity War's
if it felt like pushing all their time to it.
I think it's more so the industry needs come out
and then having a better bridge between us and the developer.
You know, and just like, it sucks because, like,
I know that they care, but it's just like,
it's just like, I don't complain on Twitter and stuff
because I really don't feel like it's going to make a difference.
And, like, that is, like, one of the problems.
It obviously doesn't make a difference.
And I don't blame them for that.
You know, I understand why it's like that.
It's just, I think that's just, like, another problem
that we can maybe solve.
But since it hasn't been solved,
since I've been competing for 10 years now,
like I don't have my hopes up you know thoughts just no anti-cheat no mom like the same wave
I mean it's driving like every single like big content creator like out of the game from it yeah yeah
yeah because I don't know like like what games are even especially from a competitive standpoint what games are
even like popular that don't have like a good ranking system they don't have one not a single one
yeah yeah not a single one not a single one and I guess that goes to show like the importance of it
And the thing about that is that it would solve all of the negative PR, right?
If you put out an anti-cheat and if you then put out a rank system and remove skill-based matchmaking from the main game, right?
Now, again, we don't know.
I mean, I wish I would have read or watched the video where they say the patents on what it is that they have to continue to keep people like playing the game.
But I don't think, I really mean, I don't think that that would affect anything.
If they remove skill-based matchmaking from it, someone that goes in there and gets his ass kicked,
not going to walk away from the game forever.
You know what I mean?
Like, I don't think that's the case.
Especially when everybody that's good,
it's not going to be pub stomping.
They're going to be playing on the,
on the league play side of it.
So I think that that's...
Are you guys pulling something?
I think Dashy.
Dude, oh my God.
That scared me so much.
Like, my microphone started moving.
It was like tanged up with my shoe.
Okay.
So, I don't know.
I think that there's a lot
that needs to happen before we split up these things.
I think it's a good idea to split them up.
I think that it would be good to have like one
the same way that you have like your three options
you have zombie or you have multiplayer
war zone zombies they should
also have the second one that is
league player competitive yeah just like
something that you get that vibe like okay
I'm about to fucking go hard in this shit
you know because I want to because I want this rank
because it looks cool I'm interested
in because I ranted
about this on the flycast and I was just like
I haven't played the new call of duty
but from what I heard and from
what Hitch told me it's
he was like after your first like five games
there's really not a point to play.
And it's also how it is ranked.
It's like you get basically rewarded for statoring.
Like it's like the better you do in the game, the higher.
It helps.
It helps.
Yeah.
I think like the rumor, excuse me,
the rumor is like your score per minute is what helps a lot
and like your five place in matches.
But one thing I did notice though from,
because I played when Lee Play first came out and I played it recently too.
One thing I did notice is they changed something to where the second time around
because there's like three days per season or ladder or whatever.
The second one, I was matching basically all Masters players, like, constantly.
They might not be that good or whatever, but the first couple days, it was like anything goes.
I was matching anyone.
Is Masters the highest?
Yeah, yeah.
Now, would you say it's way too easy to get Masters?
No, I don't think it's that easy to get Masters.
There was a lot of pros that didn't get Masters.
Oh, okay.
And they won all five games.
And I don't know what that's caused by, but I got Masters.
All of us got Master's, I think, in our team.
There's no incentive that would go for it.
You don't get anything cool?
of it.
I mean,
you just get like that flex,
I guess,
you know.
I mean,
but like,
you can't really see it
on your profile.
What makes it,
like,
stream?
What makes it not worth to get?
Because if you look at,
like,
League of Legends,
I'm guessing
Ballerance the same way,
but like,
you,
for whatever reason,
I don't know if it's to look cool
or what,
but like you want to get
that high rank.
Yeah,
you want to look high.
So why is it not,
like,
cool and cod or like,
because you can't flaunt it
the same way.
Like,
league legends,
right?
Say you play an A-RM game, you still get the borders in the pregame lobby that show your diamond.
You know what I'm saying?
In Cod, it's like, if I'm playing a pub, they have no idea what rank I am.
Yeah.
But if I play league play, they can see my remaster's thing, but that's really the only time you can see it.
See, I bet something like that has never been brought up to them.
Tell me why this isn't a thing, right?
Every single pro player and one team owner get a badge that says you're part of the CDO.
You're a professional call-of-duty player.
Like an authentic one?
Like an authentic, only 60 people.
Yeah, like 2K has that.
How many people?
48, 48 total pros?
Yeah, 48 starters.
Those 49 people, right?
The 48 starters and the one team owner that still plays college duty on a daily basis.
Yeah, I remember that.
And his could go pro if he applied himself.
To add on to your part right there, I remember when I was playing 2K, like, if you were in the NBA, like, you would have a logo when you're walking around in my park.
So, like, KD would just be walking on in my park.
And then you would see his, like, NBA logo.
And then everybody knew, it's him they just fall.
Oh, that's, I thought it was a cool thing.
So you could tell it's like, it was actually Katie.
Yeah, he was playing it.
Yeah, because on his account,
just following him around in the game.
Everyone just following it to park and stuff like that.
It was actually pretty dope.
Yeah, that's genius.
I saw Kyrie in person once, like,
last two years ago.
Really?
That's not the same as seeing Katie in the game, you know?
She's logo?
Yeah, it's more hype.
And I don't know where I was going with that story.
I mean, I was not telling the story about how one,
one guy, like,
Kyrie was on his way.
to go to Jay Z's like little private area.
Yeah.
This is where I saw him for the first time.
Were you on your way to that little private area?
I was, but I got in.
I didn't get stopped.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
I had all access, but he got stopped.
And the security guard knew that that was Kyrie, right?
The security guard knew and he says like, dude, you don't have a badge.
I can't let you in.
He's like, look, I know who you are, but I just can't let you.
And I'm like, shut up.
That's so like, you're trying to.
And then he got fired.
And then no, no, and then he says this.
He's like, I'm going to let you through, but just so you know, you need to have a badge.
And I was like, I'm like, you're just trying to make it seem like you did Kyrie a favor
And he's going to invite you to go play ball.
Yeah.
Like, get the fuck out the way, man.
Maybe not that far.
I know.
The favor part I was with you.
I was with you on the favorite part.
I don't think you was trying to score a one-on-one set.
I know.
I was thinking to that place.
But I almost said, I almost said, I'm like, yo, you know who he is?
Just let him through.
You know what I'm like, I'm like, here.
Take my badge.
You go.
I'm going to go over here.
You just bring it back whenever.
He wanted to brought him back.
Because you want to play one-fee one-
Right?
Because I wanted to play ball.
And you're just telling what he was like, what do you call that?
I was like, I was the security guard trying to play ball with Cairo.
I was the, I was the best white night ever, right?
I was like, I played it so good.
I'm like, dude, this is Kyrie, dude, here, take my stuff, man.
Hit me out, here's my phone number.
I'm going to put in the back of the thing.
Hit me up.
Text me when you're ready to give it back to me.
And if you want to play ball.
But.
I tweeted you, bro.
Just follow me back real quick.
On Instagram, too, just in case.
Anyway, wouldn't that be cool if you guys each got it?
Because look, that happened to us in advanced warfare.
In advanced warfare, every single one of us got an exoskeleton that was white.
Yeah, that was sick.
That was sick.
And that's because I made it a part of my deal to allow them to use our logo in the game.
And I guarantee you they made a shit ton of money selling the black ones.
People had a shit ton of those.
Yeah.
You know what I'm like, all right, well, this is what I want.
And then I also want 19 of these white exoskeletons that we're all going to have.
So if they had 49 logos, like a CDL globe, you know what I mean, next to your thing, like you, obviously you reach master prestige, right? You're a professional call-dry player.
Imagine getting like something even crazier. If you're a ring, if you got a ring to have the ring.
If you have three rings to have the ring with like three, three emeralds or whatever.
That separates you from the rest?
Well, two, because one of them was one on land. I'm kidding. I don't know.
Everyone has one and three should be the same. I'm just going to know.
That'd be lame.
But I think that there is something to this thing, right?
There is something to be said that if the same way that you have a group allocated,
all 10 of these guys, all 20 of these guys work on zombies only,
they should have the same thing that says all 20 of you guys only focus on competitive
and only focus on the academy stuff.
And then we're off to the races.
I can't, man, I can't even tell you how.
All right.
So here are the other two topics.
And they try to put a whole bunch of topics here,
but they put the same topic twice
to make it seem as though they had.
Roger?
Don't make me crumble this up.
Every fuck.
Why doesn't Hector pick up an Optic Chicago Academy team?
Mostly because you misspelled Optic.
No, I'm kidding.
Imagine Wester under the leadership.
I don't know if it would work for like us, right?
No, it wouldn't be like that.
It wouldn't work that way for us
because we already have the team.
I would have an academy team
if the Academy or the Challenger's thing
was a little bit better
and there was more exposure
but it wouldn't be like
an Optic Gaming or an Optic Chicago team
it would be like an Optic Nation
team you know what I mean
like something that...
You know what I mean?
Something like that I think
so I would it's just that it needs to be
displayed more and there needs to be something
that there's actually rewarding for the org
to make that sort of commitment
the snow
can we talk about this?
Yo we got to talk about this shit bro
I'm freezing right now I don't want to talk about it
I didn't sign up for this shit
I didn't sign up for this shit
I didn't sign up for this shit.
I didn't sign up for it.
I moved here because of the...
I moved here from Canada.
It's colder here than back home in Canada.
How does this make any sense?
Uh-uh.
I didn't sign up for this.
All I've realized, I'm surrounded by fucking bitches.
I got guys from fucking Canada,
Chicago, fucking bum-fuck Maryland.
Fucking everyone, like Dylan's from fucking Chicago.
I'm from Cali.
I should be the one that's bitching.
I'm sitting here, like, I'm just sitting here chilling.
Because it's cold, but like...
No, it's fucking cold.
How about I should be the one bitching?
You're always bitching.
No.
Why should be?
bitching even more because I'm the only one
without fucking power.
That's a good point. That is a good point. Fair point. I was arguing.
I was arguing with people.
You don't deserve. Everybody that was talking shit to like Texans about
them like it's like 19 degrees woo. I'm like it's 19 degrees
inside also you asshole. Like all you northerners, Midwesterners,
all you people that are like what's 19 degrees?
I've come negative 56 degree weather's has been experienced
by my 40 year old body. All right? Yeah, I've been
negative 56.
It was 2013.
It was 2013.
We had just gotten off a plane from Philadelphia.
Scumpy had just left.
We walked out of the airport, O'Hare, and it was negative 56.
We got in an Uber, got in the car.
I look at Seth behind me.
I'm like, too, you're such a little prick.
And then that's it.
Didn't talk to him after then, so he came back.
That's my boy.
Yeah, I made a tweet like just how we got four inches of snow or whatever the fuck it was.
And like Texas is just like a podcast.
Yeah.
But it's not, that's nuts, yeah.
That's fucking insane.
And I kind of made that saying, like, this isn't even that big of a deal.
And then I go home and I don't have these.
I don't have power.
I have nothing.
My apartment's cold as shit.
And I'm like, wait a second.
It's like a mini pandemic in Texas.
Fucking suck.
Literally looks like an apocalypse.
The only reason I kind of understand why it's like this here is because if this
were to happen in Cali where I live, it would be the same exact thing.
Everyone wouldn't know how to act.
Like, when it rains in California.
Callie, people don't even drive.
Like, when people drive,
it just looks like everyone's, like, stupid.
Same here.
You know what I'm saying?
So, like, people from Chicago,
if it's snow, it's so normal there
that they, like, know how to, like, operate.
But then when it happens here...
And then what happens here...
Yeah.
It's like, when it happens somewhere like here,
if it were happening in Cali,
it's like, everywhere shuts down
because you don't know how to act.
You know what I mean?
There's no snow plowers, like...
No salt.
There's nothing.
There's nothing. It's a difference
between having that winter
every single year for the last ever,
and then having this sort of winter
once every 50 years.
Wasn't it 100 years he said?
It's 1899.
Like, we're not, that's the 18%.
Of course, y'all just moved down here.
Is it possible?
I was going to say, it's possible for someone to be old enough to, like, experience both the one in 1899 and now.
And, like, two, this was so.
120 years?
I know it's happening again.
Like, just 120.
At least you guys had DoorDash is what he'd say.
Yeah, but now it's closed.
Nothing.
I'm so ungrateful for Dornash.
Like, that's what we needed resources.
That's why for the past two days.
I'm ungrateful for.
The thing is this, it's like you knew.
And heat.
The thing is it's like, you knew it was bad when you didn't say I'm going grocery shopping.
You said, I'm going to go get some rations.
You know what I mean?
You've got to go get some rations.
Right?
And again, it's not about how cold it is outside.
It's how cold it is inside.
I don't care where you're from.
You're not sleeping in your house comfortably if it's 19 degrees inside of there.
You know what I mean?
And that's like everybody's going through that right now.
My brother and his family, like, didn't have power.
so we were like, yo, come, you know, sleep at sleep at the house.
And my brother's like, my brother's like, no, I offered him too, but he's like, no, I got a cat and you got eight dogs and seven dogs.
I don't know how many.
He didn't offer me.
Yeah, it did.
But you did offer me two other places.
The cat's here in your garage.
The cat's really here right now.
It's hiding.
Yeah, my cat hates X.
He hates you too.
Feelings fucking mutual.
No, my cat knows.
And say, yo, you should tell him.
You should tell your cat to look around.
I can't tell him nothing because he's fucking hiding.
Junior quarters.
It's the hex quarters.
So you tell him to fix his attitude
or he's going to be out there in the cold.
He ain't doing shit.
He's hiding.
Yeah, it's right.
Because he don't fuck with you.
I alphaed him.
I look at him.
You haven't even seen it.
What are he poops on your setup?
I swear he's out.
He's out.
He's up the team.
Thank God.
Let's like, I'm going to put like fake poop on his setup
just so you can get him booted.
I'm like, what is this?
Just a Snickers bar.
Get the fuck out.
Microw wave from over there.
I don't know.
I, I, I am kind of
glad that it is like that we're experiencing something that hasn't happened in a lot like a long
ass time.
But at the same time, like, it is effed up that I don't care about the roads.
You know, let the roads, like, you don't have salt, you're using sand and they don't clear.
I don't care.
But the state of Texas should have had something better on the power grids.
Yeah.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Yeah, nothing.
No one should be.
It's like, we're going to take electricity from this grid and then give it to these people
over here. And then, look, I know
it's super unfair because we have
white people. We have electricity
here at the hex quarters. Or here,
this whole building has electricity.
No one is here besides us.
In this whole building, you know how much
electricity goes through this to keep, yeah,
five floors. Move
whatever electricity is here and move it to somebody
who needs it, who's got a family
and kids, man. No, it's facts. It's just being wasted
here. I need it here. The hospital doesn't have
electricity? That's
why you have power. Oh.
hospital. Oh. Okay.
Well, why don't you guys live near a hospital?
I'm caring.
Still, like the Toyota Center.
You know what I mean? Like, if you're talking about conserving, you know, energy, shut
that shit off. I can see lights right there at Bowler.
What is Bowler? Like, shut that shit off.
We don't need that.
Like, why is this light on? Do we need it?
Roger.
Strikes again.
One of the topics here says that Logan Paul's move to Puerto Rico.
I don't want.
Yeah.
I don't even know.
Cool.
I don't even watch the shit.
Cut.
Sweet.
Have a good time.
Another loss for the U.S.
Oh, no.
Okay, so the reason that I brought up the snow.
God damn it, Rod.
The reason that I brought up the snow is because Attach made a video about G.A.
and scrimms this week.
Because, like, the majority of the CDL lives in Texas in a time in which Texas is not Texas.
It's crazy.
Right?
We keep saying, during the election, we kept on saying,
keep Texas, Texas.
or don't California are Texas.
You know what I mean?
Who said that?
Not me?
Anyway, Paige just moved here from California.
You just moved here from California.
I mean, Toronto, like, I guess you're like me or him.
Like, we don't really care about whether or not, like, it's cold outside.
Brandon cares.
No, like, okay, no, I care, but I just care if it's cold inside.
Yeah.
If it's cold outside, like, whatever.
Like, you can just go inside and perform.
Yeah, exactly.
Like, in Canada, like, it's, like, not 19 degrees inside.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's like, it's normal, like, for it to be cold outside.
You just go inside and just warm.
I hope this occurs up by the time we play our next match because.
Yeah, like Attra is obviously joking about Ging scrims, but like it's kind of serious because we can't practice and obviously we play Toronto, Florida and like, I don't know, like L.A.G and they're all three teams are not located in Texas.
That's kind of crazy.
So like they're all three teams.
You're welcome.
Yeah, but all three teams are just practicing nonstop and they're not getting affected by this whole like snowstorm here in Texas because they're just playing LA Toronto.
So basically what I'm trying to say is they should postpone these matches.
You think that they should push?
I think they'll get pushed.
You think?
Because we can't practice.
And then all three teams that we're supposed to be playing against this week and next week.
Yeah.
Because they're getting reps.
I've heard that they're doing a call tomorrow to decide.
We are.
Yeah.
And if you got seven out of 12, that's already majority vote.
And they're all going to side with their players.
And the players are going to tell them to postpone it.
Yeah, we are going to, I mean, you guys want me to tell them that we want to postpone?
Yeah.
Absolutely.
I have both.
We, like, look, I want to say that this is no excuse.
This is no reason I'm just saying that this building has a really good AC up until 6 p.m.
Yeah.
But the heat is not something that this.
that this building needs.
So when something like this happens,
you guys have to play with fucking cold hands.
And warm, yeah, that's like so annoying.
Like in between maps, I'm literally not even looking at my screen.
I'm not even touch my controller.
I'm putting my hands in the hand warmer.
Yeah, if you see it's on the cam,
I'm just like there, just trying to get any type of heat.
That was just, dude.
Yeah, it was bad.
And then we took it from Matt.
So Matt's over there editing without his little heater.
And then Josefo stole my heater.
So I have to steal it back from Hosefo.
And then I put it in the middle.
And then you guys are fighting.
over little
fucking RJ D2 over there
or R2D2. R2. RJ.D.2 is
DJ. He plays
Ghostwriter, my outro song for the vlogs.
It's a real person.
RJD2, yes. DJ. New York.
I thought you were saying the Star Wars. No, no, no.
Anyway, so what do you think? You think
Yeah, they should 100% postpone.
Postpone? That pushes the league, what?
Just a week, I think. Can I ask you
guys a question? Be honest, okay? And then you two
actually as a spectator, and everybody here can
nod their heads. Not ex-pro.
As a spectator. Well, that's here the question.
Okay, the question is this.
Do you guys agree that it should be Friday, Saturday, Sunday?
Only instead of a fucking Thursday?
Why is there a random match on Thursday?
Why is a spectator getting so hype about that?
I'll answer.
Hell yeah.
I'll answer.
Yes, Friday, Saturday, Sunday is the way to go.
You're not a player, so.
I'm just trying to help you guys out.
And, you know, looking back at my 15 years of being pro at the top of my game.
Yeah, it was always.
That's true.
It's not always.
He spent the last 12 being an M.
Trying to make it back.
That's not true.
But yes, it should be.
I didn't like the way that on Thursday, like I felt wanting more.
On Friday, I felt that I wanted more.
On Saturday, I felt that I wanted more.
There should never be a day where we're playing two matches.
Like on Thursday, we have a match scheduled for Thursday, and there's two matches that day.
What is the point of that?
No.
That is so dumb.
I'm sorry.
I agree.
I don't think, I mean, luckily, I mean, we could make some adjustments, I think.
like I'll bring it up
but I wasn't the only one
that's like yo like this feels like it's
like there's no reason she's being milked
you know like way milked literally
yeah I don't know I think Friday
Saturday Sunday to have
Junior just jumped up on Hitcha station
Oh I see his tail. Oh he's shedding
No he's not oh my god
On his Sharsarsards
On shitsards
On shitsards
They've got their cases for some reason
It's worth more now
because it's got
Charzar's real shit in it.
You'll be like,
yo, it's got Charzor's real
just a little smear.
Like a signature.
The cat's just like
three cloths.
The pot front.
Stamps it.
Because those
old wax stamps.
You know what I'm talking about?
Yeah.
You see all the envelopes like,
yeah.
It's a courier.
Take this to ye master.
Too ye master.
On horseback.
Oh, man.
First weekend on the CDL, man.
what really happened
besides cold hands
shitty weather
what happened
on the matches against phase
because we were
I mean
I mean like obviously like
at the end of day
it was just a league match
but to take away
like anything from that match
or just like
S&Ds obviously
like just got to improve on that
I don't even think our S&D is that bad
I just think it was those two maps
I think the other three were pretty good on
like really good on
but it was just like that was just a batch
like 12 1 like it looked like we just didn't even know
what we were doing
but other than that I'm actually like pretty happy
with how we play it because like other than that we should have won like we should
want the series three one just by our response yeah yeah but like me and brand we're
talking about after like it's honestly better that we didn't just three won them because if we
were to three won them we would have looked at that Miami like it was a fluke yeah
been like I mean dude what this was random match with three one them but because we lost both
searches so bad like it made us take a step back and be like okay we got obviously got
improve on search on those mass specifically or just at search in general um you see
what I'm saying though like it's it's better for the long on because it is a league match you
know like if we play them in the playoff thing or the the major we beat them there
We're going to obviously talk shit or something, you know what I mean?
Or feel good about that.
But it's like, it was good to get like that match under our belt.
Because if we were to just be like four and O, then play them at the end, like, it would just be different.
Yeah.
We have a lot of time now to prepare for the major and like, you know what I'm saying?
See what's wrong with our shit.
Because I'm super confident I respond.
I don't think like, especially like that.
Like it took them beating us by five points and like a couple gunfights like going their way.
Like that usually never happens.
And a couple like lucky timings after looking at the Vod back to like beat us by five points.
You know what I'm saying?
A lot of things that was going Tyler's way.
Abizi.
Like just winning, I mean, he was obviously playing really well.
Yeah, he was.
He was just winning gunfight after gunfight.
And it was all important as hell.
Like, there was one early in the match that I would have gotten streaks if I killed him.
And then he saved another one.
And he killed Seth.
And he killed fucking Brandon killer.
I got to talk about this because I'm getting tweets that I got shit on or some shit.
I kind of did get shit on.
But like, so it was at the very end of the game.
This one, Abizi popped the three piece.
And then I was the third guy.
And then it's like, I think we're calling him about a week or something.
I was like, I whatever.
I just shot at him.
I shot three, four bolts.
I thought they were like four perfect shots.
You stopped shooting.
And I stopped shooting the goal, like,
you're getting ready for the next guy.
And then I was like, oh, shit, he's not dead.
And then he just fucking, like incinerates me.
He hits a good shot.
It looks like you stopped shooting.
I watched it.
But it's whatever.
Like I said, it was just a good, like,
match to get, like, under our belt.
You know what I'm saying?
It was good to play them.
Like, I'm happy to play them.
But it's just like, these are all just league matches.
Like, it's all just receding, right?
So as long as we just don't blow it in the last three matches,
like we should be in a good spot still.
Because when I looked at the pools beforehand, it was going to be us in phase number one, too, no matter what.
Regardless of where we were, like, who was one or who was two, it could still switch.
It doesn't matter.
But it's like you're looking for empire and thieves on the other side, and we know that we're going to play one of them.
So, either way.
Yeah.
What did you guys think about Dallas losing to Rocker?
I'm interested.
I called it.
Did not call it?
Matt did call it.
I did call it.
They lost the same way we did.
They lost both searches and I think offense on control or something like that.
Yeah, control.
That's just how it was.
Like, I mean, I guess it just happens how, like, because if you're, if you're, if you're, if you're,
you're like the better respond team going into a series and then like your s and d's not like up to par like with your respond then you lose one of those response and you're just forced to win like one of the s andes and like they just didn't and that's just what happened i was like kind of like i don't know like i feel like our sndi was was pretty good good i sndt was pretty good i was pretty good i i'm sorry
to be i'm i'm sorry i'm i'm sorry i'm sorry to do try to work on stuff but the end of you i hate how i hate the pro community for the fact that search practice is so hard to come by good search practice is so hard to come by yeah because we'll schedule scrims right and like you play rs and d'n d off stream and like you do try to work on stuff but at the day like playing s and
in a match is just so much different.
Yeah.
It is so different.
And I, like, I don't really know how to, like, describe why it's different.
It's just people don't take the same chowls.
There's a lot more team pushes.
It's, like, the things you see in the scrims, it's like, you can play as much as you want,
but you're pretty much playing, like, to get timings or learn timings and then situational
clutches and stuff like that.
But, like, we were just getting smoked.
So it was like, I don't know.
But I didn't even feel like we, like, could have prepared for that type
S&D because it's like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, first time we played Miami wrong or whatever because we just got blown
through.
but I don't feel like we got good Miami practice the whole time.
We probably played the map like 11 times in different scrims, you know, just across the board.
Against pro teams, top end, Westar, you know what I'm saying?
Like we play these teams a lot.
We practice search a lot, but it's just different when it's in the match.
So, I don't know.
I just hate how it's like games two and five, but you can't even really practice for it.
We're getting on every day and we're screaming hard point and control, like going hard.
Every team's going hard and hard point.
Everyone's playing eights playing hard point.
It's like there's no real good SD practice.
You can play as any attorneys and stuff, but then they have different rules.
The S&D kids play differently, way differently than pros.
They do.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's like...
Like in what?
Like, so when I watch Brandon play like S&D 8s or something randomly here,
he's playing with like Mohawk and like those are,
Ali and those type of kids, like that whole group,
they just play S&D different than pros do.
They play a lot of like single childs.
They play a lot of like clutches.
It's just different mindset.
There's a lot of credit angles.
It's a whole different mindset.
It's a whole different way of playing.
What is like a credit angle?
Like just like an off angle or just like playing to where like the guy has to like push
you and then you're like, what the fuck he's right there?
They play literally the opposite of predictable.
What it is what it is.
When they told me that I did that on Moscow?
Yeah, I was like, I was like, not insulted by it either.
I was just like, yeah, yeah.
I didn't know what it was.
Not being a cretie is like really good.
It's a good thing.
Like, Dylan, I consider him a credi.
Like, he doesn't really like-
It's like Rattie.
Yeah, it's almost like another word for like Rattie.
Yeah, exactly.
It's a good thing though.
Like, you get a kill and you just hide.
Yeah.
You just don't even see the guy again for the rest of the round.
You lay down in a corner, like that's like a cruddy.
Like that's like Cretty was.
Like someone who sponsored someone with her internet?
Yeah, that's where like, like, it's where it stems from.
Just a shit player.
It's where it's from because you're like, wow, why wouldn't he chow me?
He's playing like a credi.
He's hiding, he's hiding.
But like now it's like good.
Yeah, because that's that annoying.
I always looking back at my 15 year career as being, I would get, the people I got annoyed at, I guess,
the like Ryan Noobes.
Yeah, he was a credi.
Yes.
Ryan was a cretoy.
Pistola was the best credi.
Yeah, those type of place that like piss me off.
are like low-key, like, good plays.
Yeah.
Or just like, God, this guy's so fucking annoying.
I can't even fight him.
Yeah.
Just running away.
Yeah.
You played against Pissola?
Yeah, I played with him, too.
He's on my team.
Did you play against Pissola?
Yeah.
I don't know if I've ever beat Pistola.
He hasn't.
There's no way.
There's just no way maniac beat Bistola.
That's those things that just don't line up.
If Ace can beat him in a 1v1, it was 400,000?
Was it 400,000?
300?
How much Ace won?
It was 250,000.
I think I only beat us all at one time, actually.
I don't know if I have.
Do you think somebody like that?
I beat everyone else then.
Did you ever play against him?
Have you ever beaten me?
Did I beat you?
I don't think you beat me.
Have I played you?
Yeah.
Wait.
Weren't you on the team that I beat for top three?
I think it was like you.
It was like...
My second event?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
When it was like you, Ryanube, was it?
I think you guys beat us once when it was like you
Clutch. Me, West, ABG, and Cloud.
Yeah, I think you got the, like, first event.
Columbus, I think. I don't think you beat us.
I think we lost the Dynasty of Dallas.
Oh.
No, no, no, we beat Dynasty.
You guys might beat us that event.
Yeah.
When did you start?
What year?
2011.
Damn.
That's a long time.
And you went to every single MLG event?
Who was cock riding?
He was cock riding me by like the third event.
Yeah, right.
He was like, please save me.
All my fucking teammates left me.
I don't remember that at all.
And I was like,
All my teammates left me.
You know, the only reason, the only reason I wanted a team with Nick was I wanted,
because back then all the gamer pictures on Xbox, you could have BTH is your thing.
And I was like, I got to go on the team that has one of those, right?
So I was like, okay, BTH triggers down, like one of those.
And I was like, BTAH, holy shit, he needs help.
I was like, I'm just going to go there.
And he needs to change my gamer tag to BTH formal, like, or he was like believe in formal.
And then had like the fucking, the picture.
I was like, this looks so sick.
That's the only reason.
But, like, he would turn out to be, like, my best friend.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
time, but it was just a good teammate.
Yeah.
Well, there's a different between a good teammate because, like, anyone can be a good teammate.
You know what I mean?
Like, I'll nap you up, I'll hype you up.
In game, though.
Like, that's a different story.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
I mean, Nick was good when I played with him.
He was good.
I did leave his bitch ass, though, and then beat him the next event, though.
You know what I'm saying?
And then won that event with Dynasty.
Yeah, you guys were good as fuck.
Yeah, we got really, really good.
Do you think somebody like Postola could make the switch over to call?
I mean, maybe not now.
Yeah.
Not now.
I wouldn't say not.
No, not now.
He had to deal whenever we did it.
Yeah.
You think he would have been up there?
If he really wanted to, yeah.
I think he's such a diehard Halo fan that he wouldn't have ever switched.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
So, like, I don't know.
But that kid was gross, dude.
Yeah.
Truly, truly like playing against a robot.
Do you not have a secret handshake with him?
That's weird.
No, it's not.
Why is that weird?
Because one of you talked to pistola.
When he played for me under instinct.
On Eon?
Yeah.
Wait, what?
Yeah.
He played for us under...
The long story short, the handshake goes like this.
What, you and Pistolola handshake?
Yeah, we still have it.
That is.
Such a fistola handshake.
Yeah, he's like, yeah, that's a good kid, yeah.
Yeah, I like him a lot.
I just like the amount of people that, the amount of talented people, I mean, even now, to this day, you have the, the snake bites.
I mean, everybody that, that's right now on that team, like, do you think people like that can come now?
I mean, I came over with Snake Bite back when I first played, and it was me.
him ace and enable and like snake fight was good i don't remember why he stopped playing but i think
snakebite could probably play but it's like i said it's just too late now you had to come over whenever
like we all came over especially not with the league yeah it's like it's like impossible just be like
naturally into god like you have to because i feel like a lot of people made this
or made the switch and tried to make this switch but i guess maybe if they really saw they were
successful there were no events there were no halo events or worth really going to and i went to um
MLG-Anaheim 2012, I want to say, with like a couple buddies.
And, like, we just watched the event.
And I was like, this ain't that hard.
I remember sitting in the stands watching the final.
And I was like, the shit ain't that hard.
I could probably play the shit.
Yeah.
And I was like, let's just play the next one.
And then we were like, all right, we're down.
And we played it.
And then, like, I realized people weren't that good.
I was like, these people were not that good.
Yeah, I remember y'all were making, are you talking about when it was like you enable snake bite ace?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Y'all were making, I forget who y'all were beating.
We were beating a lot of good players.
a few yeah there was like a few halo teams or halo players playing at that cod event but like you guys
were the only thing people were talking about and even the cod player cod players like they kind of looked
at halo players like they had really good shots yeah or something or like communication was like the one
thing that we knew yeah and i just remember like hearing about your team i think you guys we were doing
good i think you guys beat was just a team name just yes yes we beat on like winter ground thursday we beat on like
Winter Drown 3.
On like Maystay?
Was it on May?
No,
no, no, no.
But they got third that event.
It was like Chino,
Tibson, Gucci.
Yeah, they got third.
What the fuck.
And we beat them like fucking,
it wasn't like super easy,
but it was like,
they were a good team.
And what?
Like Am bracket?
Yeah, an Ambracket.
It was like Winters Round 3.
Damn.
Yeah.
And then we played,
obey.
Remember them?
They were like a pretty good team.
And then we played
the number one seed in Ambracket,
which was like,
Fisurp, Dito,
Shills, and realized.
And like, that was like the match
on Friday night that everyone was watching,
like people were behind us and shit,
which two of them.
And like, I dropped like 17 in the search
to beat them.
And I was like, I didn't know there was a lot of kills
back then got like 10,000 followers.
I was like, what the fuck?
I said, it's hype, it's easy.
Yeah.
And then I played pool play the next day.
And I was like, these proteins aren't that good.
Like Unite.
It just weren't that good.
And then they beat us and shit,
but it was like really close.
Well, Unite wasn't good
because Maven was coaching them.
Yeah, but that team was still really good.
At that time, they were like a top three team.
But it wasn't because of Maven.
I'm kidding.
Probably may even.
But yeah, I mean, and then after that event, I kind of knew I had to leave them.
Because I was like, I was like, yeah, we're pretty good, but I think we need to split off and like find our own little cod homes and like learn which is what I did with Daddy Moho.
AKA because you got offers.
And you're like, yeah, guys.
I went for the offers though.
Yeah.
Like all my career, like I've done that same shit.
It's like you shouldn't stick by people that you know that you're like, you know, not holding you back.
Because I wasn't that much better than them at the time, but it was like at least give yourself an opportunity to become something.
You know what I mean?
So, like, I was swapping teams left and right.
So many people hearing that right now probably think they relate.
They think they're that guy.
Maybe.
I mean, most people who are thinking, like, dude, he was such a snake.
You're still just loyal.
But, dude, back then, like, loyalty didn't get you anywhere.
It never gets you anywhere in the scene.
Like, you got to know why you're here.
You know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying?
It's just stupid, too.
Yeah.
Like, if, for instance, fucking cloud, after we won 2009 Nats,
Cloud left our team after we won the biggest tourney of the event.
But like, it was a smart decision.
Yeah.
Yeah, he got an instinct, right?
Yeah, he got on instinct and then like one.
Because any of you guys would have taken that offer too.
How?
Exactly.
Like, that's the thing.
People always like, dude, like, it's so like not loyal.
Like, fuck.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So loyal to this org or something.
But like, I mean, why you're loyal to that org?
Like, you know what I'm saying?
That's not even like an org.
Like, I want to say like anyone in particular, but just like, you know what
I'm saying?
It's like, and anytime I would leave, I would end up playing my teammates like the next
event and I would beat them.
So I was just like, just even more assurance.
Like, nice.
You did. I have proof right here. March 31st, 2014.
Right?
It says, you guys aren't making a team change, I'm guessing, correct? And I said, no. Are you guys?
You say, not too sure what I'm going to do yet. What's seeing what's up with you guys.
And then in August.
Yeah, Twitter DMs. They never go away.
So on August, you said, hi. You're around brother. I'm here.
Hi.
What are the odds of the squad
We want happening do you think
And I'm like I don't know too many moving parts
But here's the proof right
You did go
Trying to make a move
Trying to make something happen
You know what I mean?
Yeah
You guys are my number one option
But EG needs my answer by tomorrow
I'm like I'd stay with envy
I don't have a spot for you man at the moment
And they'll do more with you
They can build a franchise around you
Like I was legit being honest with you
I do think that you know
They could have
But, you know, it ended up working on in the best, best possible situation ever.
Just like the S&D players reaching out to coach you guys.
No.
Yeah.
But one thing I was going to backtrack on, when I said it's like super hard to people again the scene,
like Neptune is like a brand new player in Cod, and he kind of got on a progenre make right away.
So like there's no reason that Sankbike couldn't do the exact same thing.
But there was a lot of hype around Neptune being good and then he actually was good.
And then he got his chance and he was doing well with that opportunity.
So it's like if you get that chance, you've got to show up.
But do you think that was more of a time?
Ryan Ogre? It could have been, right? But like at the end of that you don't really know,
I haven't really talked to them like that. I'm with it, man. I've said it from the beginning.
I've said it from last year from the beginning. Like, I like the moves that Ryan's making,
like bringing people in from somewhere else and putting them into his thing. Like, I like that.
Why not? I mean, yeah, I like that. People are talking about it. That, that org is getting a lot of
coverage because of Neptune. That is a fucking solid move. So he's good. Yeah. He's good. Yeah.
good. I mean, you got picked up by the mutineers because you couldn't fucking wait 24 hours.
I love that. I've explained this too many times. So, so have I. Yes, I was on the mutineers.
Yeah, I know. Shout out to Ben Spoon. That's my brother. I like him. Yeah, who doesn't?
That dude's likable by all. I don't know. I think, and look, but when any single time I talk about
people coming in here, like, I don't want any cod player out there to think that I would rather have
somebody else than them. I'm just saying that
no one spot safe.
I wasn't thinking that in case you were wondering.
No, not you.
I'm kidding. I don't know.
It's one of those things where
if you want to make impact, if you
want to be the talk of the town, you've got to make weird
moves. It's going to make you to happen.
When TK picked me up, they had no reason. I had no reason
thing on that fucking team. Yeah. Like, I was
literally coming off two top 28 places. So you
your first team was fear. It was fear. And then I
left them because, holy shit.
Um, they were horrible.
But TK, my, the options for TK, they needed a main AR because Gunger left for envy.
And the choices were me, proofier Stainville.
And back then those two were really good ARs.
Um, but then like, I like, just put my name in the hat.
I was like, I mean, I can fucking try the AR, whatever.
And the only reason I picked up by the team was because of Neslo.
And then, what do you mean?
Okay, so here's what happened.
Let me just tell the story.
The story is pretty funny.
You know the story?
You told me.
This story is pretty funny.
So, Nezlo puts in like, a good word.
because he was like a dick rider of mine from HALO, right?
Like a real big fan of me, like he watched me play and shit.
Like, it was just like, all right, yeah, I'm down.
I'll play with you guys.
And like, they told me I got picked up.
I was like, what the fuck?
I was like, all right, let's go.
And like, four days go by, we're screaming.
We're actually doing really well, right?
I'm running an AR and I'm just like sitting like caution on Soverem just like, mom people down.
Like, this game's so easy.
And then like, I get a fucking Xbox party invite from Sharp.
And he's like, yo, can you get on real quick?
I'm like, yeah, I'm like, it's just him in theory.
Because other are the two teammates.
And they're just, I'm just like, what's good?
I thought I was about to get dropped.
And then I hear theory, he's like,
we got to get rid of Neslo, man.
And right in my head, I'm like, yeah, fuck, yeah, we do.
I'm like, yeah, dude, I was feeling the exact same fucking way.
I was like, dude, he's pissing me off.
We haven't lost his scrimmon shit.
It's like, so good.
But I was just like, it's hard to hammer me.
Like, I was like, dude, right?
Fuck it.
Fuck that guy.
So then we dropped him.
Then we dropped him a big Gujarre back up.
But it's like, basically swap places with Neslo.
But, like, that was the story.
It was fucking comedy.
but, like, looking back on it, it's comedy.
At the time, it's kind of fucked up.
Yeah.
But, I mean, like, I had no business being on that team.
I don't know if it's fucked up, man.
When you're making those sort of moves, you have to play the game holistically.
And that includes the political side of it.
100%.
That includes the networking side of it.
100%.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Like, it's all encompassing all the time.
Like, how are you going to expect to get picked up by a pro team if you're not even friends with them?
You know, you got to put yourself out there and, like, you know, go out of your way to, like,
play with these people that you want a team with.
You've got to meet them.
Yeah, yeah.
They're not going to really be like, dude, just play with formal.
I don't know.
He's good.
I don't know.
I'm talking about.
I've been playing an A's with formal.
Like, he's nasty.
Like, we should maybe try this guy.
Like, that's what was happening.
I was involved in everything that I could be.
Yeah, that's lucky how, like, all the pros.
That's lucky how I got picked up on Optic in 2018.
I was, because we remember we had that boot camp with you guys when I was on
complexity and then I was just frying.
I'm not going on.
I was frying.
Zinny, Sam, just absolutely torching them.
And Seth was like, dude, this guy's kind of nice.
And then I was like, I went the champs.
Then they lost.
I was talking to Seth after he's like, yo,
low key, we'd be nasty, right?
And I was like, yo, for sure, right?
I was like, we'd be so gross.
I'm gas-geted in there.
I remember the off-season, Doug was like,
yo, we're team with two going into next year, right?
I was like, optic or Doug?
I was like, yo, Doug, I love you, bro.
But I'm out, right?
He's like, like, what?
Like, I thought we were teaming.
Like, and then he was just trying to, like,
bribe me, like, dude,
we're going to be so good next year.
I'm like, yo, like, I'm out, bro.
Yeah.
It's a good, bro.
No, you know?
Imagine how I would have stayed with Doug
Because like loyalty
You know what I mean
Like how like you guys were talking about it
You're not sketching
Fuck loyalty
It's like Optic or
Fuck loyalty in that sense
Like there's no choice there
Because even though we were in too
With Doug and be loyal to him
Or just go to optic
But like even though y'all are friends
It's like he
Unless like people
Certain people just don't have the awareness
Like you'd
Like it's kind of fucked up
That they would want to hold them back
Or like selfishly
He lowkey did try to shame me into joining
I was like
What?
I was like,
no,
that's a good point,
though.
Because I remember when I left Nick
on BTH and went to Dynasty,
like he knew that was a good play for me.
Like,
he knew we were about to be nasty and like,
we won the next event.
And like,
he was pissed with initially when I was like,
bro,
I'm fucking out of here.
Like,
obviously gonna be mad at me for like a day or two.
But he knew deep down that was what he,
like,
that's a good play for me.
You know what I'm saying?
It varies person to person.
Like,
yeah,
I feel like any time that's ever happened.
Or even like,
I'll see shit on Twitter.
If people make a team change and it's just like,
gonna get met because 99% of the time it like kind of makes sense and that person's like doing
the right decision for them yeah so it's like you can't even like get mad at you have to people
I feel like the saltiness either comes from them not getting an offer themselves or them just
like damn like he's gone we're fuck sometimes people are just like delusional though and like dude
I should be on that fucking team yeah like no you fucking shouldn't you're not that good yeah
you know what my man uh nameless asked you if you really thought you were better than him
he was like you think crim's better than me I was like you think crim's better than me I was
like yeah and he was like sonny dear and i was like okay uh what's up cap like i was like i was like
was like was that france or it was literally in france it was literally in france it was in france
at a dinner table i'm standing there and all them are sitting down and there's i'm just like going
one by one like because they found out thursday night i was going to like try to leave them and
that event was fucking awkward as hell dude i never played a match where we played a dom a domination game
game one of a series and i was i told them like before the series i was like listen i know you guys
They're pissed, but like, let's try to win the shit.
Let's go home with 5K.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
And they were, like, no one respond to.
I was like, fuck.
All right, I'm going to start frying or something.
So I come out.
I'm like, one shot, one shot beat on.
I just realized no one else is saying this.
And I was like, okay, this is shot.
I was the only one calling out for a whole side of Dom.
And I was like, this is so fucked.
Wait, what was that for an actual event match?
Yes, it was in pool play.
That's so weird.
At the start of the event?
Start of the event.
Yeah, they were so mad I was going to leave that.
Like, no one called out and we just like,
up and just lost and I was like okay and we could have easily won the event the team that
that one that event was like eG and they weren't that good we were the best team at the time like we
could have easily won they were just like tight they're over it but now I'm so I'm assuming maybe
you never know are you over it over what I'm leaving you back way back way back one I don't even remember
shit that happens told you my brain's fried I left him in the fucking dirt
I said peace dude I think I had the XBL message him and just said you're an FAA
You're an FAA
Like telling him
Like listen
You don't have any teammates anymore
You are an FAA looking for three
Yeah
You're an FAA and you're not going to succeed
Honestly I would just retire
I mean good luck
I don't know
Look was fun
Again you got to play the game
From from beginning to end
I think that they
I don't know if they
I hope that they postpone it
But I hope that they
postponed it to the following week
and we play more matches on, like, we try
to pack two weekends into one weekend.
That way we have like, Call a Duty action
the whole time.
Think about playing three games a day.
I would love that.
Yeah, I'm probably even like in my realm of possibility
anymore, so used to like the structure now.
Yeah.
But yeah, that shit was lit, bro.
Back in the day that was so fun.
Like, we'll play on Friday.
It was so fun.
You know, you're going to play three matches guaranteed.
Yeah.
That shit was lit.
Yeah.
You're like, dude, yeah, we lost one or like we won one,
but you know you have two more matches that day.
You're still in it.
And by the third match, you're so warmed up.
Like, I don't know.
It's just fun, dude.
Playing all day and having a loser bracket run is fun as fuck.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, you play, you're literally at one station for like seven matches.
And then you go to the main stage because you're in top three of that point.
Like, that shit's fun as fun.
Those are like my favorite.
Having a fun loser bracket day, you play from like 10 a.m.
Yeah.
Oh, shit.
I know.
I, man, I miss.
I will always, always, always miss those days.
And I'm not looking at them through rose-colored glasses or I'm not putting a little bit extra sugar on the past.
They were just better.
They were just so fun.
It was just way better.
The community was like so lively.
Like there was, it was an actual event.
It wasn't just like competition.
It was like there was a fan interaction and then there was the bar and then there was the party
and then there was like you go to bed.
There's Nick on the ground over there.
Three girls trying to wake him up.
One's robbing him.
Once robbing him and Mike.
Dude.
See what I deal with every?
Such fun games.
Dude, events were so.
Anaheims.
Oh my God.
Those were so fun.
dude.
So fun.
I know.
That's why I was surprised
when the LA
guerrillas didn't throw
their event in Anaheim.
It would have been cheaper
than, yeah,
it would have been cheaper
than what the money
that they spent there
and everybody would have gone.
Like,
if they would have marketed it,
if they would have marketed it,
it's like,
full venue.
Yeah, it's like,
yo, come watch Calduty
at MLG or at Anaheim.
Show that picture
of like the Hilton
and like the roundabout.
Oh, dude.
Everyone would go.
Everyone would have gone.
I would have gone.
I would have won.
I would have won.
I would have won.
I would have won.
We would have experienced that one last time.
I'm telling you right now, Matt, Nate shot,
and if you're watching this, which you are,
I know because you text me pictures all the time,
he doesn't.
If I don't see an LA Thieves event at the Anaheim,
dude, that's what they should do.
You don't know.
Don't know what you're doing.
Period.
I don't want to see it at the Paragon or the Aragon.
I don't want to see it at a staple center.
No, no, no, no.
How many Anahms did you go to?
Actually, you know what, all right, time out.
Three?
I take it back
My first ever event was in her
Same
The staple center
The staple center
Has the Ritz
It has the Marriott
It has that
The whole little like court
Has the LA live there too
LA live yeah yeah
That's what I mean
I mean that shit's sick
We played it before I think
Yeah yeah
Yeah we did something there
Two champs
I don't know that
Anaheim I just
I fucking
Anaheim is where it's at though
You can order Portilloes
Every day
Like everything about it
Checks
There's Disneyland right next to it
Like Disneyland
That shit was just
It was such a vibe
You go like mid-summer every year.
And it's always Godlike weather.
Everyone's so hyped to be there.
Like everyone's just fucking the stands are great.
Like fans are great.
Everything's just such good vibes.
Such good vibes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dude, the amount of people that are going to show up to this next Anaheim event
wearing fucking green screaming, let's go up there.
Wait, that was so hype.
Played one, what's this thing?
Anaheim event with like optic fans.
It was like a rush, bro.
I was like, oh my.
Well, pretty much every event, to be honest.
But Anaheim, I don't know.
It was just because it's so nostalgic and something like that.
I was like, here, this is different.
Yeah.
Then we got third.
And nobody double connector.
Did we ever win Anaheim?
Did we ever win Anaheim?
Yeah, you guys did.
No, we did.
Black Ups 3.
I got MVP.
It's right there.
That event was so fucking fun.
Yeah.
Just frying the whole time.
I'm like, whole fucking terrific advantage.
I'm just tucking everyone.
And I'm just like,
too, this is so fucking fun.
Oh my God.
It's so fun, bro.
It was fine.
Anyway, I hope to see in the future, near future,
whether it's L-A-G or L-A-T, to throw it there.
You know what I mean?
That's where I want to go.
Let me know ahead of time so I can...
See, now this sucks, man.
Because that means that nature's going to get
the presidential ahead of me.
He ain't going to do it.
He can do the event.
We'll split it.
It's only one bad, though.
So I don't know how that works.
Anyway, I think we've gone on long enough.
If you guys want to be included in next week's podcast,
