Starting point is 00:00:00 When you talk fragged, I think that's the most of the noise. That's the most of the noise. Because I'll be like, I'm going to get spoiled. Because usually I talk frag. And I just like let you stewing it. It's the worst. It's so toxic. Yeah, it's smirk and everything.
Starting point is 00:00:11 It's so toxic. Well, anyway, welcome, welcome, welcome to episode number eight of the Optic Podcast. Thank you. Our super good production team in the background, we have three people just pointing cameras at us. Hitch and the TST boys have joined us. Thank you for stopping by. Thank you. It was a flight.
Starting point is 00:00:36 It was nice. It was easy. George slept the whole way. I played Pokemon and Farfetch slept in the middle seat. Yes, sir. So. So what happened with Farfetched is that somebody tweeted out, I don't know if it was Hitch.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Hitch is like, yeah, it's going to be me, me, Blake, George, and Farfetch. And I'm like, well, who the fuck is that S&D kid? I'm like, I don't want people coming here unless I know that. You were bringing to S&D kid here. Yeah, I don't know who you guys picked up on the way. Who was hitching a ride and you guys picked up on the way here? Was it like a little pillow? A little...
Starting point is 00:01:06 I buckled him in. Is he like a little stuffed animal far fetch? No, it's a card. It's an actual card. Oh, it's a card? Yeah, it's like a first edition. Yeah, it's a PC 10. It's almost a rack.
Starting point is 00:01:17 I don't want to make him feel bad, but like as far as far fetch go, he's worth it. What's the highest grossing card right now? I think it's like, well... Is it Charzard? It's basically Charzard. I feel like all I see when people are pulling Pokemon cards, I know nothing about the infrastructure or market of them, but all I see is, Charzards. Yeah, it's basically Charzards. I saw a Mew 2 yesterday. I forgot how I saw it from,
Starting point is 00:01:38 but is that worth a lot? Oh, you probably saw Wildcats. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that one was worth a lot. That one's worth like 6K. But like some, there are like some, uh, cards that in the right condition is they're like, like go up to like 500K. Wow. Isn't it the car that logic bot still the most expensive one? The card that what? Logic buy a one, a single card for like 200. Yeah. Yeah, that was the first edition of Charzard. He bought a card for 200. And a not worth 500. Oh, really? Hopefully.
Starting point is 00:02:09 That's a good investment. Maybe. Things are worth as much as somebody's willing to pay for them. I don't know anything about Pokemon. I'm mad that I don't know anything because I just know that we could have, I don't know. Like my brother-in-law has three Zions that are worth like a shit ton of money. And I'm like, you'll sell one of those? Sports cards are different.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Yeah. He said Zion. I was like, is that first-gen? Is that Kanto? Is that his name? Zion Williams? Yeah, that's basketball. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:33 Is it Zion Williams? I don't know. Yes, I'm having a brain fart. I know. William? Dude, how do I... I'm having a brain fart. I know who it is.
Starting point is 00:02:40 I... Somebody that big should not be able to levitate the way that he does. He reminds me of... He reminds me of Big Joe or Fat Joe. From the Terror Squad. Big Joe. Yeah. Fat Joe, the rapper?
Starting point is 00:02:52 The rapper? Like, lean back. Yeah, like, dude, you're too big to be levitated like that. That's crazy. Yeah, that's no way. I don't know what you're talking about. It's a little out of our age, but you... You know what?
Starting point is 00:03:04 I asked him, but you're super into hip hop. Did you ever listen to MF Doom at all? I only listened to a few songs. Yeah. Because, like, with that really lyrical stuff, like, I obviously really appreciate it, but it's hard to just sit down and casually listen to. Unless you're like, I like watching them rap it, like before it, but I never got a chance to.
Starting point is 00:03:23 So I, yeah, I went the complete opposite way. If it's, I can't, I can't do the, you can't do the casual stuff. Like, I never. You can't listen to them. Yeah. More often than not any single time that he put, like, I've never. ever heard a single song from the baby. I've never heard a song.
Starting point is 00:03:37 If you guys have suggestions, Rodney Rich. Yeah, no, never. The baby. And not for any, I'm not,
Starting point is 00:03:43 I'm not retro actively trying to not listen to it. It's just not something that I'm, that I have on rotation. If I, if I'm in a car listening to something, it's either a podcast or news. Right. And if I'm listening to something,
Starting point is 00:03:57 I'm going to listen to, you know, Wu Tang, A Soap Rock. A son of a rock. Yeah. Look. I got all his first two albums right there.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Appleseed and music for Earthworms. Weird. Flex. We got to get a weird flex counter on this guy. You can't. You're the, we got to get a weird flex saying on this guy because anything is.
Starting point is 00:04:19 I have a very nice cup of tea today. Do I? English breakfast? Weird flex. You want to water? Water? Yeah, would you like something to drink? No, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Why? I'm just asking because, you know, we got help. You know what I'm saying? No, that's okay. We got people. We're a team here. I have a gatorade. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:04:35 That's very cool. Enjoy. Anyway, let's get started with the topics. Obviously, you guys have been a part of Optic for now close to two months. I just got my patch yesterday. Well, that's one of mine. That's big. I'll take that.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Yeah, because I got the other two. I think Hitch stole this jacket for me at UMG Atlanta in like 2015. Did that mind? No, no, you got it from the booth. They were selling them at the place. Yeah, because Hax came over and said, you guys or yeah you could you could grab something for them and then he's like can I get two for them and I was just like yeah too I'm like trying to run business yeah he was like I thought you were
Starting point is 00:05:14 gonna say shirt t-shirt yeah the amount of times me and George have worn this shirt together yeah that's one of my favorite yeah like I wear this all the time I've just never had a patch on it yeah so we we have similar ones coming out for the optic essentials uh like my my apparel strategy for this year is the rawest it has ever been. No one's going to be doing what we have been doing. Seth, what do you think about this? What?
Starting point is 00:05:40 Right? In April. Yes. For example, we're going to be doing which one should I tell him? Which was the dophest one that I've told you guys so far? I mean, the first one's pretty solid. Yeah, the executive?
Starting point is 00:05:51 Yeah, so the executive, at the end of this month, we're going to give everybody that bought the founder's hoodie like first dibs and a discount to be able to get the limited edition, you know, collectibles. So I'm doing 12 collectible. this year and the people that bought the founders hoodies that you know whatever they get a discount and prefers dibs uh and essentially what it is it's it's like i don't know like topical stuff uh this year
Starting point is 00:06:14 or this month is going to be uh digs are like polo shirt but that's not collectible collectible is going to be the notebook and whatever that we print limited amounts but the one that i'm excited about that i was telling blake because blake is a big coffee guy true is the optic coffee coffee like actual coffee beans i'm so ready really coffee beads you're like moka jo coffee that would Yeah, coffee mugs. It's called the barista, you know what I'm saying? Super Raw. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:37 Oh, yeah. Limited edition. A toboggan that you roll out past your years. Because we are going to have the essentials. The essentials being the bomber jacket, the tech jacket, a hoodie and obviously like all the old school stuff that we have. We got to get more merch, bro. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, we do.
Starting point is 00:06:51 I mean, none of my shit fits anymore. Why? Why? Yeah. I mean, word to Taco Bell, you know, Poppies. Word who is who is who cooks for you. single night. Word is she made a nice spaghetti last night but yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Spell it. Spall it. S-P-A-G-G-T-T-I. I'll never forget it now that I've been publicly shamed and humiliated. Dude, one of the hardest merch photos of all time is you in the booth with like the, I don't know what you call that jacket. It was like a very sporty looking jacket. It looks like a patagon. You're right? Yeah. That one. Yeah. It's not like a
Starting point is 00:07:24 gray tech jacket. Okay. So it wasn't that one, was it? No, it's the first iteration of it. It was the black. It had like patches on it. We got, we got the black one. the one that you were wearing in there was the same sort of style jacket from Astro that came all the way to the top and gave you like...
Starting point is 00:07:39 Yeah, yeah, I remember those. Yeah, you look very World Cup. Them were hard. Yeah, yeah. So obviously me thinking at the apparel game and seeing people do drops and then them selling out and they're not having anything else,
Starting point is 00:07:49 I'm like, well, why are people doing that? So we're going to have the essentials, which is going to be available year round, and then we're going to give everybody the super, you know, street, supreme-esque sort of drops and collectibles that we're doing. And I'm a genius when it's.
Starting point is 00:08:02 stuff like that. I've been doing high school, you know what I'm saying? I love that. I love merch is my favorite part. Would you ever sell an optic chain? Yes, that is November, I think. There you go.
Starting point is 00:08:14 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen, no, well, I'm sorry, that's what's the month before November? Damn, that's crazy. It's so far away. It's October. November, we're selling the, what do you call it?
Starting point is 00:08:26 The Christmas thing, which is two Christmas sweaters, and then there's the ornaments. The ornaments, like, Another drop is going to have the optic van in it so you can hang on your shoes. It's going to be sick, boys. Don't give it all the way. No, no, no. Yeah, they don't even know about the dog stuff.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Yeah, so we got to. Whoa, dude. Whoa. The pet. I didn't say pet. I meant like my dog, Sethington. Buzz is going to be going crazy. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:51 He's going to be swagged out. What's up? Borum of a man. Look at him. The Pope Lay is. Yeah, buddy. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:59 One of a guy. After the, oh, dude, did you see? The reactions to the video that we made on the ranking on the S-tier. Oh, man. Oh, God. I knew it. I knew. If you make a video.
Starting point is 00:09:12 It was not that bad. It was not, no. If you make a video like that, though, people are going to get tight. That's just how it works. People are going to get upset. But like the people that got tight didn't really get tight, but maybe kind of. They got tight. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:25 Yeah, they were tight. I think Ray was a good sport. I haven't seen Killetweet about it. I don't know. Oh, you wait. Yeah. They were mad. But you and I were talking about that.
Starting point is 00:09:34 I would be mad too, but I mean, it's just gonna happen when you make that kind of video. That's why I don't like those kinds of videos. I don't want to miss all. I love those videos. We were talking about this yesterday, right? Like, we would have never- Would you like being the subject of the video? If someone was telling me I was trash?
Starting point is 00:09:51 Well, you see, that's the thing. These guys are, they weren't saying anything bad about us. So that we get on, we're like, see. Yeah, that is true. It's different beat on the other side. I guess we're from like a goofy point of view, so we can kind of say anything. It's like, well, they're TST.
Starting point is 00:10:05 You know what? Yeah, well, it just hits closer to home because we're like colleagues, you know, we've played against each other. So it's like, it actually, when we say that shit, it hurts. You said there are S-tier guys. Yeah, but they don't care about that.
Starting point is 00:10:18 They like, they hear like, we give them a C and Cod, and I'll be like, oh, I love them though, and then they don't hear that. What would you give me in Cod? This guy tried to do. This guy tried to plan on defense yesterday. I saw it all.
Starting point is 00:10:31 I said, this is last map. You just tried to play it on defense. I get it. It was 10 p. It happens all the time. I go to bed at, I watch my, I start watching programs at around nine. I could be up for 48 hours. I don't think I'd ever try to play in a bomb on defense.
Starting point is 00:10:44 You are a professional player. I love, I love playing with him because like, like he's in the, obviously, in the, in the S tier category telling, like criticizing me. You know what I'm saying? All right. You know what I'm saying? Like, you don't see when you guys were doing the graffiti, uh, scrabble joint thing, whatever you guys were doing.
Starting point is 00:11:02 You can see me saying like, we guys only the can. Well, technically, you weren't here that day. So you probably would have been. I am, I am, I am. You and I were talking about this yesterday when it went live, that we would have never done that sort of video ever. Not in the scuff house now. No, because we know and we know and understand that, you know, with what we have, that's
Starting point is 00:11:26 what I sell Seth all the time. Like you have a lot of power in your tweets because of the amount of people that listen to you guys. and sort of the same thing on, you know, false on our end. So we've never tried to be that funny or try to do something like that because it does carry a lot of weight. And at times, it will seem as though it's bigger than it actually is because of how many people are, you know, we've got eyeballs on that.
Starting point is 00:11:47 You know, but from the beginning I thought that, you know, I set the tone or I try to set the tone saying this is for entertainment purposes only, you know, when, when Naval. That doesn't matter. It's like saying it's like with all the respect, fuck you. But that's like a good content. I feel like good content is like tennis. Like if you hit it to them and you're like,
Starting point is 00:12:08 you can hit this back. If you want. If you want. I react to the optic tierless video. Yeah. I mean, you can crush it and then nobody can play anymore. And it's like,
Starting point is 00:12:15 I don't want to play with that dude. Yeah. You just had some head at shit. But it's like, it's like when we're playing an element of optic and and you try to go up whiz. Like you won't hear the end of it until the, you know,
Starting point is 00:12:27 until everybody shuts off. Right. So more often than that, nobody talks shit. I mean, does but aside from that like nobody wants to go total to tell with quiz you know he's just too much so
Starting point is 00:12:35 I thought it was good I thought it was entertaining we do make fun of ourselves obviously with the spelling bee so I don't you know if people got offended you're fucking soft every day yeah every every every I mean every week we do a trivia video and we get destroyed
Starting point is 00:12:50 in the comments yeah that's all I mean that's the point of those is to be like self deprecating right I came home and I was like I will not ever know anything about Halloween like I don't need to Oh, do we be yes to Halloween Trivia so bad Like we were terrible at the Halloween
Starting point is 00:13:05 We didn't know anything I got the Halloween town one The taxi driver though That's about it We got like three Nasty Oh I think we did Who I think I did that
Starting point is 00:13:12 You guys missed Jason And I was like This is gonna be rough My mom was upset about that one My mom's upset Yeah She likes Halloween I don't know
Starting point is 00:13:19 I think Again It's if it's entertainment Like we do Gosh we do Like a really good job At like censoring A lot of the stuff
Starting point is 00:13:29 But now they're Rogers here. He's like pushing and pushing the Rogers here. And now that formal's here. It's like, Oh, yeah. You gotta just let them. Matt didn't give a five. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:38 That was my favorite part of the video is formal. Literally no has he telling them exactly what's here. Well, he was like, oh, that's a D. That's it. That's it. Just put it down for now. That was literally my very part of the whole video. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:48 We haven't had that sort of unfiltered opinion on any video in a very long, I mean, ever actually. Yeah. So I'm, I don't know. I'm super proud of that, that video. Not from the creative standpoint, but because of how funny it was, how good of a time I had doing it. To get paid to do that, that's awesome. I love that. Speaking of obviously content, we have TSC in the houses.
Starting point is 00:14:10 You guys can see that they're here once a week every month to create content. We have to figure out a way to get you guys to shoot four pieces of content with you guys so you guys can be in every single piece throughout the month. And then I have to figure out how to convince Hodge that Diesel is also quarantining. and that they can get together and shoot this sort of video so they can be a part of trivia too. I just don't know how to convince Hutch of that because he's very hard-headed, as you guys know.
Starting point is 00:14:38 You know, you played with him. I love Hutch. Yeah, I love Hutch. He's hilarious. I don't think Hutch is hard-headed. Yeah, right. He's the man. He's my movie guy.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Anytime I got a question about a movie, he's the best. You say hurtful things, and I will. At the table. Right. It's just facts. Dude, Hodge thinks that Aquaman is like a fucking S-tier movie. I mean, it's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:15:06 It's pretty good. Not S-tier. I enjoyed it. Yeah, so did I, but I wouldn't give it. Oh, yeah, that was bad. I'm like a serial movie liker. I don't watch them any movies. So when I watch a movie, I'm like in a good mood anyway.
Starting point is 00:15:16 So I'm like, yeah, I like, yeah, I like that movie. And then someone just like craps all over it. And I'm like, oh, well, I thought it was fine. That was one of the three movies I watched in 2020. That's how I am with a lot of my rom-coms. I learned to not watch anything that starts with like the, though. I like rom-coms a lot. What rom-com is your favorite rom-com?
Starting point is 00:15:31 What's the goat of all rom-coms? Probably forgetting Sarah Marshall. That's good. I think sleeping with other people is like the best one ever. I don't think I've ever seen that one. Because it's funny and it's like a little bit like mature, more mature. And it's more real than, I don't know, than the one that you just mentioned. Forgetting Sarah Marshall?
Starting point is 00:15:50 Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I love you, man. I mean, that's not really. I love you, man. It's good. It's not really a rom-com. Slap it a bass. Slap it a bass.
Starting point is 00:15:57 I think you love you, man. Maybe it's not. It's kind of is. I guess so. It's like a friend. It's like a dude. It's like a dude wrong. It's like a dude wrong.
Starting point is 00:16:06 There's no girls in it. Besides. It's Taladega and I, it's a dude. Rashida Jones. No. Taladega and I is not a rough. It's not a true.
Starting point is 00:16:16 It's all about friendship. But there's no. The bacon shake. Shake and bake. Come on. I've never seen it. It was my meat. Sheik.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Shake bake. Shake big. I think you said a little bad. You don't like it. Yeah. My brand. Yeah. It's bad.
Starting point is 00:16:27 It's like, Trans. late. That's the same. Yeah, 50 first days is probably the best
Starting point is 00:16:31 last of thanks. It's the it's hard. What's up with, what's up with Farfetch? What is it? What's up with you
Starting point is 00:16:41 guys in Pokemon? Back to Pokemon. Farvish. So we Which one is? What do you look like? He's a little tiny bird or a little tiny duck
Starting point is 00:16:49 and he's got a stick. Yeah, he's got the skull. No. That's Cuba. No. That's Cuba.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Got it. He's cool, too. That's Hitch's favorite Pokemon. Farfetch is super sassy. Pokemon though. Super sassy. Just like me.
Starting point is 00:17:00 He like got a lot of attitude, just kind of quacksy people, and he carries a like a pimp cane, but it's a leak. So everybody's like, why is he carrying an onion? And I was like, it's a pipk. Come on, dog. It's a pimp cane. It is a pimp tight. If you had, if you were in an alternate universe where you could own one
Starting point is 00:17:17 Pokemon, who would you own? Arcanine. Arcanine, that's a good pick. Then I'm Gerdos or snorlax. Geardos, how are you going to pet Girdos? Yeah, where would you keep? Do you don't understand. I would like.
Starting point is 00:17:27 Just in the back. What about like a magic cart? Just a little baby version? Wait, that's just a fish. You just buy fish? You know how big a magic carp is? Like three feet long? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:37 It's like a... It's like a... ...personal-awn-a-personed-a-personed-commodera? I don't think so. That's what that is? I thought that was that thing where you... You pressed the button and it starts... ...the wiggled.
Starting point is 00:17:52 No, I cut that. I put my hand in his mouth and brought it out, took a selfie, and then... I would probably own I would say either Charzart Charzard or Squirtle I feel like two opposites
Starting point is 00:18:06 yeah that's water in fire You gotta like one One's like a huge dragon was a little turtle Yeah I would squirrel is just cute I would do Pikachu because he's the only one I know I know what he looks like You never I guess
Starting point is 00:18:21 You never got into that right Because it was like 98 Yeah so in 98 I was 18 I was 18 my brother was eight so he was super into right okay And we, we, I told the story before, but like I would, I would be getting dressed in the hallway, uh, my closet, whatever, it doesn't matter. And I would hear him and I would hear something like, oh no, uh, Charzar is about to do his
Starting point is 00:18:40 firepower thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I would go and I'm like, and I'll peek into the living room. Like, is he about to do the firepower thing? And my brother excited that I finally like, am taking interest. Yeah. He's like, yeah. And I'm like, shut up.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Now? Damn. So you're just a bullied her. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Lila, I bully everybody that I love to give them, you know, the strength to take it from those who don't matter. So what was your poker book growing up? Like a rock collection?
Starting point is 00:19:08 Like, no, it was. Like marbles and stuff? Canicas. Yeah, canicas. It would have to be like marbles, I guess. Yeah. We didn't have cool shit growing up. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:19:18 Like, I would have totally been into that. There's no, like, baseball cars, football cars? No. No, I was, you know, we were outside playing basketball and football. Yeah, you were playing sports. Yeah, I was playing sports. But I wish, again, I wish that we had stuff like that. I love collecting stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:33 But yeah, it wasn't. You should get into it, man. There's a few boxes out there you could afford that. Just get my. I don't know. Don't get like plushies. Cards are like, I don't know. I just, I don't see the.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Have you seen one in a PSA graded case though? No. It'll change you a little bit. It will change. So like when you get a card graded, they send it back in like this little plastic case with the official grading at the top. And like, I've always had Pokemon cards. and having the cards cool and even when you sleeve it it feels more important.
Starting point is 00:20:00 But when you get it back in the PSA grade case, it's like, okay. I have a Michael Jeffrey Jordan, North Carolina one in a plastic thing. I would get plushies. You know what crazy about that? What are you like put on your bed? Yeah, he likes plushies. Like jump into them. No, no, not like sleep with him, but like get like a stand, like in the back of the stream room
Starting point is 00:20:18 and just have like a bunch of pokey. And then you can get the little pink cat headset. And then you can play your CD all matches. Hell yeah. The pokey headset. It's got to be different. I know that I would have been a really good Pokemon collector because I keep my shit, like, some of those characters back there are from like 1997. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:20:36 You got a lot of little. I keep, I take good care of all my stuff. Yeah, that looks too. You know, I don't know why. I just, I just like it. I got, you know, some stuff. Let me see. 95,000.
Starting point is 00:20:47 95,000. Yeah, so that. What is it? 10 Charzard. But it's not even English. It's a German. It says gluck. So if that was an English should be worth.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Glouac. So if that was in English, it would be... Glouac. That's actually a hard-ass name. Glouac Charzard? It's like Groome. It's like Grosar. Grobe is cute.
Starting point is 00:21:06 So you never got into Star Wars either? Nah. No, no, no. How did you grow up to third? I don't know. I don't know. I was like... You know what's crazy about that is like...
Starting point is 00:21:17 Again, I would have been like the perfect specimen to be like all into all of that. Yeah. Because, you know, painting trains, like I try to paint as many different kinds of trains as possible because that was my collection. Right, right. Right. That was like I want to see my name in a different car and that was my collectible. You say like pictures of it? Yeah. Yeah, that's cool. That's cool. That's cool. I guess, but again, I would have been like the perfect specimen for that. You should make a print book like a album. I mean, it's illegal. Yeah. I've seen some head ass photo. Let's just put all of my incriminating in a flip book. I say that I didn't but I don't think I really did. You just found them with your name on it. I found him with my name on it. I like that. Like really good. That guy is so good.
Starting point is 00:21:59 You know what I'm saying? Way better than me. All right. Greg F. Or Greg, I'm sorry. Cut that part. G. G., obviously two million viewers yesterday on Twitch,
Starting point is 00:22:08 which set the world record, doubled the world record. Am I right? 2.4. Yeah. 2.5. And then once that news went out, everybody went to his stream.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Yeah. Fortnite retweeted it, his stream. And it went crazy. What was he playing Fortnite? Yeah. He was like waiting for his skin. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:26 He was his own personal skin. Oh, that's so dope. Yeah. Yeah, that's so dope. Do you think it's too late for Fortnite to start doing that? I mean, obviously not because there's this many viewers watching that one thing, but they were there more for the moment. The same way that when Ninja played with Drake, like, I even showed up,
Starting point is 00:22:42 not that I, you know, whatever, but I showed up because I wanted to be a part of that moment. I wanted to see it, you know, firsthand. But you think it's too late for Fortnite or do you think that they can turn it around? For new people to join Fortnite? I mean, I feel like it's not our demographic. is like their main focus because like when you go into Target there's like three lines of
Starting point is 00:23:01 Fortnite toys. Yeah. I mean if you're there like the younger kids got to eat it up and dude you go in there there's like every superhero known a man
Starting point is 00:23:08 I get the Mandalorian baby Yoda follows me around it's like they're so mainstream with what they integrate but it's cool that they're doing like creator skins too. Yeah so am I yeah I mean I agree as well
Starting point is 00:23:17 but that's insane though imagine look you you reach a certain level of popularity on the internet but this is like a whole new level of popularity of the internet. I don't even think you can, like, fathom that.
Starting point is 00:23:31 I mean, how he slept yesterday. You know what I mean? Like, he hit stop streaming. Like, we've all had crazy stream days. How do you stop? How do you stop? We've all had crazy stream days where you're like, wow, that was nuts. Yeah, he was going crazy on a stream.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Like, what is going on? Like, I can't imagine. Like, remember that day, Ninja hosted you? You were streaming here? Like, that had to have felt good, like, after that day. I mean, it did. But you guys also won a 2K. It wasn't like that.
Starting point is 00:24:01 That's what I'm saying. Dude, you had like 80K viewers? Wait, no, 120? It was like 105 or 106. That. Like 20 times. That's nuts. 20 times.
Starting point is 00:24:12 It makes no sense. I mean, if you put it into stadium perspective, right? The American Airlines Center holds, I think, 29,000 people. Think about that. 29,000 people. Let's just say 20,000 people. and then think about how many stadiums that is. Who's got the math going on?
Starting point is 00:24:31 I see both. This is what I'm talking about. I think they're doing. I don't think either one of them are doing. No, they're checking their Twitter. I think they're doing math. I mean, it's two miles. It's 29.
Starting point is 00:24:40 So, I mean, it's like nine stadiums. Yeah, it's insane. Think about the amount of people that do that. Like, it's, and you know what's weird about that? 125 times. You know what's weird about that is that if you think about humanity's a species and aliens, do you think aliens have that sort of popularity? Don't talk to bike about aliens.
Starting point is 00:24:58 Here we go. Why? You don't believe in them? You don't believe in. Here we got time on the Optu podcast. But that's what I'm saying. I think that that's one of the things that sets us apart, right? Like the almost need to create something for other people, you know, to elicit a reaction from somebody else, right?
Starting point is 00:25:14 Like do jokes are jokes? Something that's, you know, that's, I don't know. What was with you in aliens? No believe or yes believe. I'm just not an alien guy. I believe they're in area that's like 23 or something. Area 54 No, it's like 23
Starting point is 00:25:29 I've seen one I captured it on this If I showed you You tried to diffuse a bomb That wasn't playing against He tried to plant On defense I did try to plan on defense
Starting point is 00:25:42 So what I still led the board Carried No you didn't Seth you're a professional player I don't count you as part of that I did better than Diesel And that's what I count
Starting point is 00:25:50 I did better than Hutch That's what I count Yeah You know what I mean I'm the worst teammate when I top frag and then we lose. That's my only. You're a worst teammate
Starting point is 00:26:01 when you bottom frag and stop trying. That's the very weird. George has to stop trying for me to stop trying. If George stops, I stop. When you top fragged, I think that's the most of the noise. That's the most of noise. Because I'll be like,
Starting point is 00:26:14 I'm like, because usually I top frag. And then I'll leave and I just like let you stew in it. It's the worst. It's so toxic. He'll smirk and everything. That's why.
Starting point is 00:26:23 That's my Rocket League is so well. No, we'll play a Rocket League, and I hear you screaming, and I'm sitting there and I, like, press the scoreboard. You all got, like, 48 points. Yeah, Blake's play Rocket League for three years, and Hitch and I just started, so every time Hitch not make a mistake. Yeah, but Blake doesn't tell people he played for three years. Yeah, he doesn't say anything.
Starting point is 00:26:36 You can't just say three years. I play one day a week. He's like Blake is so good at every year. Spawn amazing at Rocket League. I just spawned amazing in video games. Just the prodigy. Yeah, right. That's the issue.
Starting point is 00:26:49 I like that vibe. I feel that way in anything that I do. They have a game that they're waiting to play this week while we're in town. is called Fusion Frenzy. It's old school. So I've never played Fusion Friends. Is that a big party games? The big ass Xbox.
Starting point is 00:27:00 That's a throwback. The original Xbox. Yeah, original Xbox. Like you run on top of the thing. It's like mini games and obstacle courses, right? It's like Mario Party, but way better. Way better. I did have a lot of fun playing Mario Party.
Starting point is 00:27:12 And if Nintendo wasn't such a shit of a company against creators, free melee motherfuckers, we would be playing, you know, Mario Party here with everybody, because it does get competitive and does get like super serious. We can play like Poem Party or or or a fusion frenzy. It would be fun to play like a fusion frenzy. Those games are fun. I can't wait to play that game though.
Starting point is 00:27:34 Yeah. I have to bring it to like my favorite thing in the world. Do Pokemon Stadium mini games? Those are the most left on in the world. Yeah. I always forget Pokemon Stadium even had been in the game. But they're really good. So obviously with, we have YouTube algorithm on this list and I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:27:50 I'll ask afterwards. But it brings me to a topic with you guys. because you guys have been creating daily good good as daily content and you you just hate it you hate that you haven't broken through do you see that you see that thing right there this is one million gold button plaque yeah I've been waiting for 10 years you see me getting mad at the YouTube algorithm now you don't upload every day uh-huh you don't take this like not as much like like I don't know you don't pour everything into it you got other shit going on. Do you make the videos or are they
Starting point is 00:28:26 like stream rips that are we have an editor? We have an editor that we're doing the same thing that Jack, Tim the Tapman, doc, like everyone. What's the same thing? Like you take the stream every day, create like a
Starting point is 00:28:42 highlight of the whole stream. Right. It's not really a highlight, but it's like a narrative of one specific game. Right, right. So it's like if kids talk trash to us and like shoot our bodies then we'll specifically upload a YouTube video about that series. Not just. just like stream highlights January 8th. But our, but our content, like, I will say is really good.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I mean, that's what everyone does. Like, literally, that's what everyone does. Yeah. I'm telling you, like, I don't know. It's just how much effort we put into it. I'm a very judgmental person. And if it was bad, I would tell you it was bad. But it's really good.
Starting point is 00:29:14 You know what I mean? Yeah. I would tell, I would suggest something else. By now I would have told you a different suggestion as to what you guys are doing wrong. But I personally can't find anything either. I mean, we've kind of changed gears a little bit this year. I mean, just like brainstorming over Christmas break and stuff. Because, I mean, call duty has always been where we met.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Like, in terms of a gaming sense, it's always what we've uploaded. And so we've done a variety of things now. We did like a whole game show thing for Hitch's birthday, starting a Pokemon play through. We did, you know, played who wants to be a millionaire and can we name 50 states. Just things that are more, not necessarily clickbaity, but appeal to maybe a more general audience than. I feel like right now the call duty interest is. very the high-skilled players even in war zone yeah i mean you don't see people making crazy content in war zone except for like neo he's like trick-shouting that's like all i see
Starting point is 00:30:04 that isn't like yeah an 80 kill game one of the best place i've seen ever in call of duty was what i just saw from him about a week ago the helicopter thing dude about a week and in the way the way that it was set up was like what made it so dope because he was on on the ledge yeah that allowed for the helicopter to have an extra drop a little bit yeah so i don't Oh, smooth. So smooth. He is insane. Did he keyboard and mouse that dude?
Starting point is 00:30:27 Yeah. He used to be controller. Yeah, he used to play with Nickmarks. Yeah, he's part of the hip-in. Yeah, him, yeah, him, uh, Neo and amps. Yeah. We used to play them in attorneys all the time. Yeah, Fortnite you have to press so many buttons the controller.
Starting point is 00:30:38 He was like, I'm just going to switch to him keyboard and mouth. Yeah. And he's still nasty? He is still nasty. He is still nasty. Yeah, he hits clips and I'm like, what the, the load-out trick shots the one I was like, what the heck. The classic ones to me are like the red and green roof buildings where he wall bangs the staircase. Those are like, because he said like four of those.
Starting point is 00:30:55 I love those clips. I don't know. It kind of like, like, I was like watching some of this highlights. When you talk frag, I think that's the most of the noise. That's the most of the noise. Because I'll be like, I'm like, I'm going to just want to. Because usually I talk brag. And I just like lay you stewing it.
Starting point is 00:31:10 It's the worst. It's so toxic. It's so toxic. Well, anyway, welcome, welcome, welcome to episode number eight of the Optic Podcast. Thank you. our super good production team in the background. We have three people just pointing cameras at us. Hitched and the TST boys have joined us.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Thank you for stopping by. Thank you for having us. It was nice. It was easy. George slept the whole way. I played Pokemon and Farfetch slept in the middle seat. Yes, sir. So what happened with Farfetched is that somebody tweeted out.
Starting point is 00:31:47 I don't know if it was Hitch. Hitch is like, yeah, it's going to be me, me, Blake, George, and Farfetch. And I'm like, well, who the fuck is that? kit. I'm like, I don't want people coming here unless I know that. You were bringing the S&D kid in here. Yeah, I don't know who you guys picked up on the way. Who was hitching a ride and you guys picked up on the way here.
Starting point is 00:32:06 It was like a little pillow. I buckled him in. Is he like a little stuffed animal far fetch? No, it's a card. It's an actual card. Oh, it's a card? Yeah, it's like a first edition. No, it's almost a rack. I don't want to make him feel bad, but like as far as far as Farfetched go, he's worth it.
Starting point is 00:32:21 What's the highest grossing card right now? I think it's like a, well... Is it Charzard? It's basically Charzard. I feel like all I see when people are pulling Pokemon cards, I know nothing about the infrastructure or market of them, but all I see
Starting point is 00:32:36 is Charzards. Yeah, it's basically Charzards. I saw a Mew 2 yesterday. I forgot how I saw it from, but is that worth a lot? Oh, you probably saw Wildcats. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that one was worth a lot. That one's worth like 6K. But like, some, there are like some cards that in the right condition
Starting point is 00:32:52 is, they're like, go up to like 500K. Wow. The card that Logic bought is still the most expensive one? The card that what? Logic buy a single card for like 200. Yeah, yeah, that was the first edition of Charger. He bought a card for 200? And it's not worth 500.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Oh, really? Hopefully. That's a good investment. Maybe. Things are worth as much as somebody's willing to pay for them. I don't know anything about Pokemon. I'm mad that I don't know anything because I just know that we could have, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Like my brother-in-law has three Zions that are worth like a shit ton of money. and I'm like, you'll sell one of those. Sports cards are different. Yeah. He said Zion. I was like, is that first gen? Is that Kanto? Is that his name?
Starting point is 00:33:33 Zion Williams? Yeah, that's basketball. Yeah. This is Zion Williams? I don't know. Yes. William. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:37 William? Dude, how do I, I'm having a brain fart. I know who it is. I, I, I, I, somebody that big should not be able to levitate the way that he does. He reminds me of a big boy. He reminds me of Big Joe. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:50 From the terrorist squad. Big Joe. Yeah. Fat Joe. The rapper? The rapper? Like, lean back. Yeah, like dude, you're too big to be levitating like that.
Starting point is 00:33:58 That's crazy. Yeah, it's no way. I don't know what you're talking about. It's a little out of our age. Did you know what? I asked him, but you're super into hip-hop. Did you ever listen to M.F. Doom at all? I only listen to a few songs.
Starting point is 00:34:13 Yeah. Because like with that really lyrical stuff, like I obviously really appreciate it, but it's hard to just sit down and casually listen to. Unless you're like, I like watching them rap it, like perform it. But I never got a chance to. So. I went the complete opposite way I can't I can't do the
Starting point is 00:34:29 You can't do the casual stuff Like I don't listen to the album Yeah more often than not any single time that he put Like I've never heard a single song from the baby I've never heard a song If you guys have suggestions Roddy Rich Yeah no never
Starting point is 00:34:42 The baby And not for any I'm not retro actively Trying to not listen to it It's just not something that I'm That I have on rotation If I'm listening If I'm in a car listen to something
Starting point is 00:34:53 it's either a podcast or news. Right. And if I'm listening to something, I'm going to listen to, you know, Wu-Tang, A-Sop Rock. A son of a rock. Yeah. Look, look at all his first two albums right there, Apple Seed and Music for Earthworms. That's so. Weird.
Starting point is 00:35:11 Flex. We got to get a weird flex counter on this guy. You can't, you're the word. We got to get a weird flex saying on this guy because anything is. I have a very nice cup of tea today. Do I? English breakfast Weird flex
Starting point is 00:35:25 You want water? Water? Yeah, would you like something to drink? No, I'm good why Just asking because we got help You know what I'm saying? That's okay We got people
Starting point is 00:35:33 We're a team here I have a Gatorade Thank you That's very cool Enjoy Anyway Let's get started with the topics Obviously you guys have been
Starting point is 00:35:42 A part of Optic We're now close to two months I just got my patch yesterday Well that's one of mine That's big I'll take that Yeah because I got the other
Starting point is 00:35:52 I think Hitch stole this jacket for me at UMG Atlanta in like 2015. Did that mine? And no, no, you got it from the booth. They were selling them at the place. Yeah, because Hacks came over and said, you guys, or you could, you could grab something for them. And then he's like, can I get two for them? And I was just like, yeah, two. I'm like, trying to run business.
Starting point is 00:36:15 He was like, I thought you were going to say shirt, t-shirts. Yeah. The amount of times me and George have worn this shirt together. No, that's one of my favorite jackets. I wear this all the time. I've just never had a patch on it. It's got this on the logo. So we have similar ones coming out for the optic essentials.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Like my apparel strategy for this year is the rawest it has ever been. No one's going to be doing what we have been doing. Seth, what do you think about this? What? In April. Yes. For example, we're going to be doing, which one should I tell them? Which was the dophest one that I've told you guys so far?
Starting point is 00:36:50 I mean, the first one's pretty solid. first one. The executive? Yeah. So the executive, at the end of this month, we're going to give everybody that bought the founder's hoodie, like first dibs and a discount to be able to get the limited edition, you know, collectibles. So I'm doing 12 collectibles this year. And the people that bought the founders hoodies that, you know, whatever, they get a discount and first dibs. And essentially what it is, it's like, I don't know, like topical stuff.
Starting point is 00:37:15 This year is, or this month is going to be a polo shirt, but that's not collectible. A poll shirt is going to be the notebook. and whatever that we print limited amounts. But the one that I'm excited about that I was telling Blake because Blake is a big coffee guy. True. Is the optic coffee, like actual coffee beans. I'm so ready.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Really? Coffee beads. You're like Moka Joe. Coffee bug. Yeah. Coffee mugs. It's called the barista. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:37:37 Super Rar. Oh. Yeah. Oh yeah. Limited edition. A tobogging that you roll out past your years. Because we are going to have the essentials. The essentials being the bomber jacket, the tech jacket,
Starting point is 00:37:47 a hoodie and obviously like all the old school stuff that we have. We got to get more merch. bro. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, we do. I mean, none of my shit fits anymore. Why? Why? Why? Word. I mean, word to Taco Bell, you know, pop-I-p-p-I-p-paw-E-T-T-I. Dude, one of the who cooks for you every single night. Word is, she made a nice spaghetti last night, but yeah. Spell it, spell it? Spall-E-H-E-T-I. I'll never forget it now, now that I've been publicly shamed and humiliated. Dude, one of the hardest merch photos of all time is you in the booth with, like, the, I don't know what you call that jacket. It was like, uh, it was very, it was very,
Starting point is 00:38:21 sporty looking jacket. It looks like a patagonia. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's not like a... It's a gray tech jacket. Okay. So it wasn't that one, was it? No, it was the first iteration of it. It was the black, the black... It had like patches on it. We got, we got the black one. The one that you were wearing in there was the same sort of style jacket from Astro that came that came all the way to the top and gave you like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember those. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So obviously me thinking at the apparel game and seeing people do drops and then them selling out and they're not having anything else, I'm like, well, why? Why are people doing that? So we're going to have the essentials, which is going to be available year round. And then we're going to give everybody the super, you know, street, supreme is to supreme-esque sort of drops and collectibles that we're doing. And I'm a genius when it comes to stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:39:05 I've been doing this high school. You know what I'm saying? I love that. I love merch is my favorite part. Would you ever sell an object chain? Yes, that is November, I think. There you go. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:16 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen, no, well, I'm sorry, that's what's the month before November? Damn, that's crazy. It's so far away. It's October. November, we're selling the, what do you call it? The Christmas thing, which is two Christmas sweaters, and then there's the ornaments.
Starting point is 00:39:32 The ornaments, like another drop is going to have the optic van in it. So you can hang on your shoes. It's going to be sick, boys. Don't get it all away. No, no, no. They don't even know about the dog stuff, yeah. So we got to. Whoa, dude.
Starting point is 00:39:46 Whoa. The pet. I didn't say pet. I meant like my dog, Sethington. Buzz is going to be going crazy. Oh, yeah, he's going to be swagged out. What's up, Borravo, my man, look at him. DePo play.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Yeah, buddy. What a guy? After the, oh, dude, did you see the reactions to the video that we made on the ranking on the S tier? Oh, man. Oh, God. I knew it. I knew. If you make a video.
Starting point is 00:40:14 It was not that bad. It was not, no. If you make a video like that, though, people are going to get tight. That's just how it works. People are going to get upset. But the people that got tight didn't really get tight, but maybe kind of. They got tight. Yeah, they were tight.
Starting point is 00:40:29 I think Ray was a good sport. I haven't seen Killetweet about it. Oh, you wait. Yeah. You wait. They were mad. But you and I were talking about that. I would be mad too.
Starting point is 00:40:37 But, I mean, it's just going to happen when you make that kind of video. That's why I don't like those kinds of videos. I don't want to miss them off. I love those videos. We were talking about this yesterday, right? Like, we would have never. Would you like being the subject of the video? If someone was telling me I was trash
Starting point is 00:40:52 Well you see that's the thing These guys are they weren't saying anything bad about us So that we get on we're like see Yeah that is true It's different feet on the other side I guess we're from like a goofy point of view So we can kind of say anything Yeah well they're TST you know
Starting point is 00:41:07 Yeah well it just hits closer to home Because we're like colleagues You know we've played against each other So it's like it actually When we say that shit it hurts You said they're S tier guys Yeah but they don't care about that They hear like we give them a C and Cod and I'll be like
Starting point is 00:41:24 Oh I love them though and then they don't hear it What would you give me in Cod? This guy tried to defy you this guy tried to plan on defense yesterday I saw it all I said this is last map and you just tried to plan on defense I get it It was 10 p.m. It happens all the time I was 10 p. I go to bed at I watched my I start watching programs at around 9 I could be up for 48 hours I don't think I'd ever try to plan a bomb on defense
Starting point is 00:41:46 You are a professional player I love playing with him because like he's in the, obviously in the S tier category, telling, like, criticizing me. You know what I'm saying? All right. You know what I'm saying? Like, you don't see when you guys were doing the graffiti scrabble joint thing, whatever you guys were doing. I didn't see me saying like, we guys holding the can. Well, technically, you weren't here that day.
Starting point is 00:42:09 So you probably would have been. I am, I am, I am. But you and I were talking about this yesterday when it went live that we would have never done that sort of video ever. Not in the scuff house now. No, because we know and we know and understand that you know with with what we have this what I tell Seth all the time like you have a lot of power in your tweets because of the amount of people that listen to you guys and sort of the same thing on you know, false on our end. So we've never tried to be that funny or try to do something like that because it does carry a lot of weight and in time at times it will seem as though it's bigger
Starting point is 00:42:45 than it actually is because of how many people are, you know, we've got eyeballs on that. You know, but from the beginning I thought that, you know, I set the tone or I try to set the tone saying this is for entertainment purposes only, you know, when, when, when Naval... That doesn't matter. It's like, it's like, with all the respect,
Starting point is 00:43:02 fuck you. You know what I mean, I feel like that's like a... But that's like good content. I feel like good content's like tennis. Like if you hit it to them and you're like, you can hit this back. If someone makes a, I react to the optic tierless video. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:14 I mean, you can crush it. And then nobody can play anymore. And it's like, I don't want to play with that dude. Yeah. He just had some head at shit. But it's like, I mean, it's like when, when, when we're playing an element of optic and, and you try to go a FIZ, like you won't hear the end of it until the, you know, until everybody shuts off, right?
Starting point is 00:43:30 So more often than that, nobody talks shit to, I mean, touch does. But aside from that, like, nobody wants to go to toe to with Fizz. You know, he's just too, too much. So, I thought it was good. I thought it was entertaining. We do make fun of ourselves, obviously, with the spelling bee. So, you know, if, if people got offended. You're fucking soft.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Yeah. Every, every, I mean, every week we do a trivia video and we get destroyed in the comments. Yeah. That's all. I mean, that's the point of those is to be like self-deprecating. Right. I came home and I was like, I will not ever know anything about Halloween. Like, I don't need to.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Oh, do we be yes to Halloween trivia so bad. Like, we were terrible at the Halloween. We didn't know anything. I got the Halloween town one. The taxi driver, though. That's about it. We got like three. Nasty.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Oh, I think we did. I think I did that. You guys missed Jason. And I was like. This is going to be rough. My mom is upset about that one. This is going to be rough. My mom's upset, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:19 She likes Halloween. I don't know. I think, again, if it's entertainment, like, we do, gosh, we do, like a really good job at, like, censoring a lot of the stuff. But now that Rogers here, he's, like pushing and pushing. No, that Rogers here. And now that formal's here. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:36 You got to just let them. Matt didn't give a fuck. Oh, yeah. That was my favorite part of the video is formal. Literally no has he telling them exactly what's here. Well, he was like, oh, that's a D. Just put a point down for now. That was literally my favorite part.
Starting point is 00:44:48 The same. Yes. We haven't had that sort of unfiltered opinion on any video in a very long, I mean, ever, actually. So I'm, I don't know. I'm super proud of that video, not from the creative standpoint, but because of how funny it was, how good of a time I had doing it. You know, that's to get paid to do that. That's awesome. I love that.
Starting point is 00:45:09 Speaking of, obviously, content, we have TSC in the houses. You guys can see that they're here once a week every month to create, content. We have to figure out a way to get you guys and to shoot four pieces of content with you guys so you guys can be in every single piece throughout the throughout the throughout the month. And then I have to figure out how to convince Hutch that Diesel's also quarantining and that they can get together and shoot this sort of video so they can be a part of trivia too. Yeah. I just don't know how to convince Hutch of that because he's very hardheaded as you guys know. You know, you played with him. I love Hutch. Yeah. I love Hutch. He's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:45:44 I don't think Hutch is hardheaded. Yeah, right He's the man He's my movie guy Anytime I got a question about a movie He's the best You say hurtful things And I
Starting point is 00:45:55 I will At the table Right It's just facts I go to Hudger Dude Hutch thinks that Aquaman Is like a fucking
Starting point is 00:46:05 S-tier movie I mean it's pretty good It's pretty good Not S-tier I enjoyed it Yeah, so did I But I wouldn't give it Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:46:13 I'm like a serial movie Likeer I don't watch many movies. So when I watch a movie, I'm like, in a good mood anyway. So I'm like, you know, like that movie. And then someone just, like, craps all over it. And I'm like, oh, well, I thought it was fine. That was one of the three movies I watched in 2020.
Starting point is 00:46:25 That's how I am with a lot of my rom-coms. I learned to not watch anything that starts with, like, the, though. I like rom-coms a lot. What romecob is your favorite rom-com? What's the goat of all rom-coms? Probably forgetting Sarah Marshall. That's good. I think sleeping with other people is, like, the best one.
Starting point is 00:46:40 I don't think I've ever seen that one. Because it's funny, and it's like a little bit, like, mature. more mature and it's more real than I don't know than the one that you just mentioned forgetting Sarah Marshall I love you man I love you man is good it's not really a rom-com
Starting point is 00:46:57 slap it a bass slap it a bass I think it'll love you man it's a wrong maybe it's not it's kind of is but I guess so it's like a friend rom-com it's like a dude rom-com it's like a dude rom-chip there's no girls in it besides
Starting point is 00:47:11 it's Halliday United's a dude rom-Rashita Jones no The other day and I is not a It's not a new It's all about friendship But there's no wrong The bacon shake Shake
Starting point is 00:47:21 Shake and bake Come on That's romantic Shake shake Shake bake I think you said a little Spanish You don't like
Starting point is 00:47:27 Yeah my brand It was Spanish I was like Hold on to Translate Okay so Yeah 50 first days
Starting point is 00:47:33 It's like It's a lot of thanks It's the It's hard What's up with What's up with Farfetch What is
Starting point is 00:47:41 What is What's up with you guys In Pokemon? Back to Pokemon Farvich loves Faris. So we... Which one is... What he looked like?
Starting point is 00:47:48 He's a little tiny bird or a little tiny duck and he's got a stick. He's cool. He's got the skull? No. That's Cuba. No. That's Cuba. Got it.
Starting point is 00:47:57 That's Hitch's favorite Pokemon. Farfetch's is super sassy Pokemon though. Super sassy. Just like me. He got a lot of attitude, just kind of quacksy people and he carries a like a pimp cane, but it's a leak. So everybody's like, why is he carrying an onion? And I was like, it's a peekkin. It's a pimp cane.
Starting point is 00:48:10 It's a pimp cane. It is a pimp cane. It is a pimp cane. If you had, if you were in an alternate universe where you could own one Pokemon, who would you own? Arcanine. Arcanine, that's a good pick. Then I'm Garados or snorlax. Geardos, how are you going to pet Gierdos?
Starting point is 00:48:26 Yeah, where would you keep? Dude, you don't understand. I would like. I'm a pool. Just in the back. Like Gerdos? What about like a magic cart? Just a little baby version.
Starting point is 00:48:33 Wait, that's just a fish. You just a bi fish? Yeah, that's, but you know how big a magic carp is? Like three feet long. Yeah. It's like a 8.4 ounce. Personal record best. Florida stream bass from Lake Comedera
Starting point is 00:48:46 I don't think so That's what that is? I thought that was that thing where you You pressed the button It starts to wiggle Yeah, no, I cut that I put my hand in his mouth And brought it out, took itself
Starting point is 00:48:58 And then walked away I would probably own I would say either Charzart Charzart or Squirtle I feel like Those are polar opposites Yeah, that's water in fire You gotta pick one
Starting point is 00:49:11 It's like a huge dragon one's a little turtle. I would do just cute. I would do Pikachu because he's the only one I know. I know what he looks like. You never, I guess
Starting point is 00:49:23 you never got into that right? Because it was like 98. Yeah, so in 98 I was 18, my brother was eight. So he was super into it. Right, okay. And we, we, I told the story before, but like I would be getting dressed
Starting point is 00:49:33 in the hallway, my closet, whatever. It doesn't matter. And I would hear him and I would hear something oh no, Charzar is about to do his fire. power thing. And I would go and I'll be like I'll peek into the living room like
Starting point is 00:49:47 Is he about to do the firepower thing? And my brother excited that I finally like Him taking interest and he's like Yeah and I'm a shut up Damn So you're just a bullied her Yeah yeah yeah I bully everybody that I love to give them You know the strength to take it from those who don't matter
Starting point is 00:50:05 So what was your poker book Growler? Like a rock collection? Like no it was Like Marbles Canicas It would have to be like marbles Yeah We didn't have cool shit growing up
Starting point is 00:50:20 You know what I mean Like I would have totally been into that There's no like baseball cars Football cars No No I was You know we were outside playing basketball And football
Starting point is 00:50:27 You were playing sports Yeah I was playing sports But I wish again I wish that I had stuff like that I love collecting stuff But yeah It was she get into it man There's a few boxes out there
Starting point is 00:50:38 You can afford That I think it did not For a video Don't get caught Like plushies. Cards are like, I don't know. I just, I don't see the... Have you seen one in a PSA graded case, though?
Starting point is 00:50:49 No, I mean... It'll change you a little bit. It will change. It will change you. No, the card. So, like, when you get a card graded, they send it back in, like, this little plastic case with the official grading at the top.
Starting point is 00:50:57 And, like, I've always had Pokemon cards. And having the cards cool. And even when you sleeve it, it feels more important. But when you get it back in the PSA grade case, it's like, okay. I have a Michael Jeffrey Jordan, North Carolina one in a plastic thing. I would get plushies. You know what crazy about that? What are you like, put him on your bed?
Starting point is 00:51:13 Yeah, he likes plushies. Like jump into them. No, no, not like sleep with them, but like get like a stand, like in the back of the stream room and just have like a bunch of... And then you can get the little pink cat headset and then you can play your CD all matches. Yeah. I like that. I know, it's gotta be different. I know that I would have been a really good Pokemon collector because I keep my shit, like some of those characters back there are from like 1997.
Starting point is 00:51:36 You know what I mean? So I know you got a lot of little... I keep... I take good care of all. my stuff. Yeah, that looks dope. You know, I don't know why. I just, I just like, I got, you know, some stuff. Let me see. 95,000. 95,000.
Starting point is 00:51:48 95 grand for that. What is it? 10 Charzard. But it's not even English. It's a German. It says glouac. So if that was an English should be worth. Glouac. So if that was in English, it would be worth. Glouac. That's actually a hard-ass name. Glou-rach. Charzard.
Starting point is 00:52:05 It's like Grohlack. Grogan. It's cute. So you never got to Star Wars either? Nah. No, no. I didn't either. How did you grow up such a bird? I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:52:16 I was like, I, A late bloomer. You know what's crazy about that is like, again, I would have been like the perfect specimen to be like all into all of that. Yeah. Because, you know, painting trains,
Starting point is 00:52:25 like I try to paint as many different kinds of trains as possible because that was my collectible. Right. Right. That was like, I want to see my name in a different car and that was my collectible. She said like pictures of it? Yeah. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:52:37 that's cool. That's cool. That's dope. I guess. But again, I would have been like the perfect specimen for that. You should make a print book, like an album. I mean, it's illegal.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Yeah. I've seen some head-ass photo. Let's just put all of my incriminating in a flip book. I say that I didn't, but I don't think I really did. You just found him with your name on it. I found him with my name on it. I like that. Really good.
Starting point is 00:53:00 That guy is so good. You know what I'm saying? Way better than me. All right. Greg F. Or Greg. I'm sorry. Cut that part.
Starting point is 00:53:07 GrefG, obviously two million viewers yesterday on Twitch, which set the, World record, doubled the world record, am I right? 2.4. Yeah, he played. Yeah, 2.5. Yeah. And then once that news went out, everybody went to his stream. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Fortnite retweeted it, his stream, and it went crazy. What was he playing Fortnite? Yeah. He was like waiting for his skin. Yeah, he was his own personal skin. Oh, that's so dope. Yeah. Yeah, that's so dope.
Starting point is 00:53:32 Do you think it's too late for Fortnite to start doing that? I mean, obviously not because there's this many viewers watching that one thing, but they were there more for the moment. The same way that when Ninja played with Drake, like I even showed up, not that I, you know, whatever, but I showed up because I wanted to be a part of that moment. I wanted to see it, you know, firsthand. But do you think it's too late for Fortnite or do you think that they can turn it around? For new people to join Fortnite?
Starting point is 00:53:55 I mean, I feel like it's not our demographic as, like, their main focus. Because, like, when you go into Target, there's, like, three lines of Fortnite toys. Yeah. I mean, if you're there, like, the younger kids got to eat it up. And, dude, you go in there as, like, every superhero known a man. I got the Mandalorian Baby Yoda follows me around. It's like they're so mainstream with what they integrate. But it's cool that they're doing like creator skins too.
Starting point is 00:54:16 Yeah, so am I. Yeah, I mean, I agree as well. But that's insane though. Imagine, look, you reach a certain level of popularity on the internet, but this is like a whole new level of popularity of the internet. I don't even think you can like fathom that. I mean, when you have to. I wonder how he slept yesterday.
Starting point is 00:54:37 You know what I mean? Like, he hits stop streaming. like we've all had crazy stream days. How do you stop? How do you stop? We've all had crazy stream days where you're like, wow, that was going nuts. Yeah, he was going crazy on what is going on? Like, I can't imagine. Remember that day Ninja hosted you?
Starting point is 00:54:53 You were streaming here? Like, that had to have felt good, like after that day. I mean, it did, but. But you guys also wanted a 2K. It wasn't like that. That's what I'm saying. Dude, you had like 80K viewers? Wait, no, 120?
Starting point is 00:55:07 It was like 105 or 106. that 20 times that's nuts 20 times that makes no sense I mean if you put it into into stadium perspective
Starting point is 00:55:18 right the the American Airlines Center holds I think 29,000 people think about that 29,000 people let's just say 20,000 people
Starting point is 00:55:29 and then think about how many stadiums that is who's got the math going on let's see both this is what I'm talking about I think they're talking about no they're checking their Twitter I think they're both texting
Starting point is 00:55:38 I think they're doing math. I mean, it's 2ML, it's 29. So, I mean, it's like nine stadiums. Yeah, it's insane. Think about the amount of people that do that. Like, it's, and you know what's weird about that? 125 times. You know what's weird about that is that if you think about humanities, a species, and aliens,
Starting point is 00:55:56 do you think aliens have that sort of popularity? Don't talk to bike about aliens. Here we go. Why? You don't believe in them? You don't believe. You got time on the Opti podcast. But that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:56:06 I think that that's was like one of the things that sets us apart, right? Right? Like the almost need to create something for other people, you know, to elicit a reaction from somebody else, right? Like, do jokes are jokes? Something that's, you know, that's, I don't know. What was with you in aliens? No believe or yes believe. I'm just not an alien guy. Yeah, I believe.
Starting point is 00:56:25 They're in area that's like 23 or something. Area 54. 50, no, it's like 23. I've seen one. I captured it on this. If I showed you, you tried to diffuse a bomb that wasn't playing against me. He tried to plant. He tried to plan on defense.
Starting point is 00:56:42 I did try to plan on defense. So what? I still led the board carry. No, you didn't. Seth, you're a professional player. I don't count you as part of that. I did better than Diesel, and that's what I count.
Starting point is 00:56:52 I did better than Hutch. That's what I count. Yeah. You know what I mean? I'm the worst teammate when I top frag and then we lose. That's my only. That's my worst. No, you're a worst teammate when you bottom frag and stop trying.
Starting point is 00:57:06 That's the. I don't know. George has to stop trying for me to stop trying. If George stops, I stop. When you top frag, I think that's the most of the noise. It is the most of noise. Because I'll be like, I'm going to get spoiled. Usually I top frag.
Starting point is 00:57:18 And then I'll leave. And I just like lay you stew in it. It's the worst. It's so toxic. Yeah, he'll smirk and everything. It's so toxic. That's why that's my Rocket League is so. No, we'll play a Rocket League and I hear you screaming and I'm sitting there and I like
Starting point is 00:57:28 press the scoreboard. You all got like 48 points. Yeah, Blake's play Rockily for three years. And Hitch and I just started. So every time Hitch not make a mistake. He doesn't tell people he played for three years. He doesn't say anything. He just allows everyone to think that Blake.
Starting point is 00:57:42 He's like, Blake is so good at every year. Spawned amazing at Rocket League. I just spawned amazing in video games. Just the prodigy. Yeah, right. That's the issue. I like that vibe. I feel that way in anything that I do.
Starting point is 00:57:53 They have a game that they're waiting to play this week while we're in town is called Fusion Frenzy. So I've never played Fusion Frenzy. Is that a big, I forgot. That's a throwback. The original Xbox. Yeah, original Xbox. Like, you run it on top of the thing?
Starting point is 00:58:06 like mini games and obstacle courses, right? It's like Mario Party, but way better. Way better. I did have a lot of fun playing Mario Party, and if Nintendo wasn't such a shit of a company against creators, free melee motherfuckers, we would be playing,
Starting point is 00:58:23 you know, Mario Party here with everybody, because it does get competitive and it does get, like, super serious. We could play, like, Pome Party or, or Fusion Frenzy. It would be fun to play,
Starting point is 00:58:32 like, a Fusion Frenzy. Those games are fun. I can't wait to play that game, though. I have to bring it to more My favorite thing in the world Do Pokemon Stadium Minigames? Those are the most left done in the world? Yeah, I always forget
Starting point is 00:58:43 Pokemon Stadium even had a video But They're really good So obviously with We have YouTube algorithm on this list And I don't know why I'll ask afterwards But it brings me to a topic with you guys
Starting point is 00:58:56 Right? Because you guys have been creating Daily good as daily content And you just Hate it You hate that you haven't broken through Do you see that? You see that thing right there?
Starting point is 00:59:09 This is one million gold button plaque. I've been waiting for 10 years. You see me getting mad at the YouTube algorithm now. You don't upload every day. You don't take the, like, not as much like, I don't know, you don't pour everything into it. You got other shit going on. Do you make the videos or are they like stream reps that are, are. We have an editor.
Starting point is 00:59:31 We have an editor. We're doing the same thing that Jack, Tim the Tapman, Doc, like everyone. What's the same thing? Like you take the stream every day, create like... Like a highlight of the whole stream. Right, a highlight of the whole stream. It's like a narrative of one specific game usually.
Starting point is 00:59:48 So it's like if kids talk trash to us and like shoot our bodies, then we'll specifically upload a YouTube video about that series. Not just like stream highlights January 8th. But our content like I will say is really good. I mean, that's what everyone does. Like literally that's what everyone does. Yeah. I'm telling you like
Starting point is 01:00:06 I don't know just how much effort we put into it I'm a very judgmental person and if it was bad I would tell you it was bad but it's really good you know what I mean I would suggest something else by now I would have told you
Starting point is 01:00:21 a different suggestion as to what you guys are doing wrong but I personally can't find anything either I mean we've kind of changed gears a little bit this year I mean just like brainstorming over Christmas break and stuff because I mean call duty has always been where that's where we met like in terms of a gaming census always what we've uploaded.
Starting point is 01:00:36 And so we've done a variety of things now. We did like a whole game show thing for Hitch's birthday, starting a Pokemon play through. We did, you know, played who wants to be a millionaire and name all 50 states. Just things that are more, not necessarily clickbaity, but appeal to maybe a more general audience than. I feel like right now the call duty interest is very,
Starting point is 01:00:56 the high skilled players, even in Warzone. Yeah. I mean, you don't see people making crazy content in Warzone except for like Neo. He's like trick-shouting. that's like all I see that isn't like an 80 kill game. One of the best plays I've seen ever in Call of Duty was what I just saw from him about a week ago. The helicopter thing?
Starting point is 01:01:14 Dude. About a week. And the way that it was set up was like what made it so dope because he was on the ledge that allowed for the helicopter to have an extra drop. Yeah. So smooth. So smooth. Did he keyboard and mouse that dude? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:29 He used to be controller. Yeah, he used to play with Nick Marks. Yeah. Yeah, him, Neo and amps. Yeah. We used to play them in turnies all the time. Yeah, Fortnite you have to press so many buttons on the controller. He was like, I'm just going to switch to him, keyboard him out.
Starting point is 01:01:41 Yeah. And he's still nasty? He is still nasty. He hits clips and I'm like, what the fuck? Yeah, the load out trick shots is the one I was like, what the heck. The classic ones to me are like the red and green roof buildings where he wall bangs the staircase. Those are like, because he's at like four of those. I love those clips.
Starting point is 01:01:58 I don't know. It kind of like, like, I was like watching some of the. highlights and I was like, damn, that was us in Black O'Ops 4. Like, we were that team. Oh, Black O'Four is our sandbox. Yeah. I mean, that's where we figure everything out. But then I go to play Cold War and I'm like, can't do any of that. Mono Warfare is a more stylish game than Cold War. 100%. I think Cold War is a better competitive game. But Monoer is more stylish. I mean, all I have to do is release league play. They don't come back.
Starting point is 01:02:21 Yep. Until then, it's just like... Did they say Q1? I've heard Q1 somewhere. I don't know from where, but I've heard Q1, so I'm just like hoping Q1. I mean, I scrimmed every day anyway. Yeah, you're fine. Yeah. I don't know why I'm bitched. I'm a blast to watch for competitive.
Starting point is 01:02:39 I can't wait to watch. Yeah, that'd be really good. Oh, this game is, this game is really, really, really good competitively. Besides no dead silence again. I think that's why it makes it a boring game for us in terms of, like, content-wise. Because in Blackwood's 4, there was some, like, the more weird stuff that you can make some person-in-out of. Exactly. You could, like, grabble, try to snipe someone.
Starting point is 01:02:59 Yeah. Wallbeigs work very well. Shotby. Hitch is killing people with harp. or the center darts and stuff. I was slapping people with that all over. Yeah, it was like there was a lot of fun stuff to do. Yeah, I think, I think obviously
Starting point is 01:03:12 as YouTube continues to grow and the community continues to grow, like, I mean, think about it, right? When we started, there was like a hundred creators maybe. Now there's millions of them. And I don't even know how they get to the level that they get to. Yeah. And we have, I mean, we have a, I've always said
Starting point is 01:03:27 that we have a good, I mean, base of people around us, like especially on the cod side, we have always you guys that we can play with or ask advice for. And then on the other side, like the, we play with Marcel and Lupo and Jack. I'm always texting Jack. And they're just, you know, they're like, well, you guys are doing everything right. Like I haven't had anybody say that we're doing anything wrong. So I guess we just wait.
Starting point is 01:03:51 I think you can afford to stress because I don't stress and George has the stress. I stress about the quality of the content, but I don't really stress about the numbers that much. Right. But our quality has been there. Right. quality is there in my opinion i like going back and watching your youtube videos so yeah i'm content i'm just gonna keep trying to make stuff that i like i'm not like overly stressed about it it's just like i can't wait for that the boom yeah that day i just can't like i can't wait to go to a twitchcon
Starting point is 01:04:15 or something all it takes is one one day or the next hot event i can't wait to literally went back to 88 no just one day and then boom yeah yeah I've you know I've been saying it takes one video and the fact that you guys upload high quality videos every single time by the time that the one video
Starting point is 01:04:32 hits like people aren't going to get off your channel because they're going to see all the great shit that you created before and they're going to stick around for the shit that you guys are you know creating after that um four-dye price pools that's weird isn't it they went from 30 million to
Starting point is 01:04:46 three million to three no that heard didn't they allocate a hundred million dollars to e-sports two years ago and never got deployed. Everybody was telling you to switch to Fortnite. Dang. You know what's F-top about that too?
Starting point is 01:04:57 I'm in my own lane. I do my own thing. Like, I'm going to keep competing until I'm sick of this shit. So the, here, my thing is here, right? Like, they essentially pulled in EA. They essentially pulled a battlefield in saying
Starting point is 01:05:12 that they have $100 million that are going to be deployed into it. Now, obviously, they didn't say that it was going to be deployed to price pools or to throwing events, So we don't know the, you know, the way that that tabulates. But going from 30 million to 3 million, that is insane. And look. Well, 30 million is the more insane to be fair.
Starting point is 01:05:32 30 million. I mean, that price pool, shit. We got that. That'd be, huh. What? I'd be playing. I'd be that shit. If we got 30 million prize pool, whew.
Starting point is 01:05:42 What's our price pool? Like, 6 million? I don't know. Last year it was probably like around 6 or 7 million. It's so wild that. So did 2020, like, nobody play other esports besides Cod? Because, like, how are Ian Clay, like, the top, top... Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:00 I didn't... I didn't understand that, yeah. I mean... You think, like, CSGO or... Right. The Empire team was... I always expect, like, Dota and League, like, the games that I... I guess they just didn't play last year.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Because, like, if you think about it, like... I don't know what they do. They made, what, 300 grand from champs? Like, that's not that much relative to other e-sports. that we've seen like before like big tournaments from other e-sports yeah so if you don't know what we're talking about Ian Ian and Clay
Starting point is 01:06:28 and the whole Empire squad are top 10 earnings in East they were like number like one they were like one-two weren't they like well they should have been one and two because Magnus Carlson was number one and he's the best chess player in the world and so I guess they counted online chess as
Starting point is 01:06:44 esports but it's got a section on Twitch it's a game It's a game. Of course it counts. I mean, I guess. I will say this. It's a fucking grand mass. I know that you're pushing this magnet.
Starting point is 01:06:57 What's the name? Magnus. Yeah, Magnus. That's a cool name. Yeah, it's super good. Magnus. Magnus with the Magnens. Rock and Rolla.
Starting point is 01:07:05 Or you, yeah. Anyway, listen, if I'm going to pick up a chess player is going to be the guy named Hodge. Have you ever heard of him? He lost to Ludwig. Okay, very fast, by the way. Wait, did he really lose to Ludwig? Well, they were tied. He won the first game, like decisively.
Starting point is 01:07:24 Then on the second game, he won. Ludwig won on the tiebreaker. I don't know why Hutch did what he did. I don't remember the exact scenario, but he shouldn't have done what he did. He should have gone left. Do you how to play chess? Yeah, I do. I've been played, because of Wu-Tang, by the way.
Starting point is 01:07:39 I know how because of Queens Ghibit. I'm telling you the Queen's Ghibit is based off Magnus. I'm telling you. Really? I'm telling you. A lot of the stuff is like, He said he she was young and did you have she was like a young prodigy yeah she was young she was a prodigy she like used to get up and walk around and like that's all shit he did he
Starting point is 01:07:59 tied like like the like the I think the top player of the world or I don't know I'm sure chess people he'd be it so bad what yeah the video you showed us he was like a little kid and he tied the the best player or the best chess player in the world and he was 13 how much in searching for Bobby fisher the movie I have not I want to watch it though Have you? Searching for Bobby Fisher. So Bobby Fisher is like the best. He was like the best chess player out of America, like really gave us like a spark, I guess, in the chess world.
Starting point is 01:08:28 And then he like went crazy, right? Well, sort of. I mean, I don't know if it was ever defined whether or not he won recluse. And he, he competed against the best Russian one at the time where, you know, the Russians were just owning everything. The U.S. Russian relations weren't they still like the best? I think they still are. Well, yeah. Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:08:49 You know why? It's because in other countries, they literally tell their kids, you are going to be great, period. Here it's like, you're going to be great. But if you're not, I'm still going to love you. There's no like, if you do, you have no father. Right, right. It's real like that.
Starting point is 01:09:08 And it's real like that. And that's what's something happened. Wait, how much money did he win? I think it was like 500. There was like, yeah, it was like 500 or 600. 100,000, I think. But the new chess, the new chess tour is like a million, I think. Dude, we talk about price pools all the time.
Starting point is 01:09:25 Like, we talk about the first event me and Hitch went to for Call Duty period. This is, like, way back. UMG Philly 10K. UMG Philly 10 grand. Damn. Do you remember that event? 10KK and, dude. Got freaking smoked by Miyagi.
Starting point is 01:09:41 Dude, I remember. And then me and Ricky were roommates and we went upstairs and just slept for like hours and hours. just depression, just sleeping You guys got I remember we walked in It was the first time We'd ever been in a venue
Starting point is 01:09:53 And you guys were on stage Playing Faye's first game Of the whole entire tournament And I was like damn Optic's up too low We were smoking them And then we got reverse well See do you remember like every series
Starting point is 01:10:04 Dylan was at home eating Gerber Or baby food Yeah he is in diapers Because whatever I've talked Watches I can't wait Yeah No, he was like this.
Starting point is 01:10:17 I can't wait to play. Oh, no. He's like, I can't wait to play these fucking. I've talked about this before, but if you talked to, like, Halo pros, like, they can remember a map and who was doing well, you know, and what went wrong from, like, 10 years ago. And so when I, I didn't know if you'd even remember getting reversed up my face. I mean, I do remember, like, losing to them. I don't remember, like, how it happened or the maps of the series.
Starting point is 01:10:43 I mean, I've played so many freaking maps. Right. The Halo kids. been meditating on it for six years. That's true. They've had time to think. They got two more years. I feel like we've also, I mean, like over the course of both games,
Starting point is 01:10:58 lives, have we probably played more series than Halo? Because we've had more tournaments at event. We've had more tournaments than Halo, because Halo would have like six a year on the circuit, and we would have like 12 a year. Yeah, yeah. In some years. You guys have played a lot. I mean, AW, I think we had 14 tournaments
Starting point is 01:11:14 or something. It was like ridiculous. Oh, yeah. The W got weird. It was like a tournament every... Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I mean, it was like two tournaments every single one. So it was... So apparently Halo and Riot are teaming up to sue the people that are creating cheats for their games, right?
Starting point is 01:11:30 Now, imagine you're the company, right, that creates these cheats, and then you see two people who don't need to come together because they have bottomless pit of money. And they're just for fun. They're like, hey, you want to split the bill? It doesn't matter. I would be shit in my pants. It would send a good message.
Starting point is 01:11:48 I'd be down to that. Dude, I, I, don't get me sorry. Yo, what is the, what is the name of that, of that one dude? What is the name of the, of the guy that was just cheating with, through wallhacks? What's? Durbin. Derbent. Did you see this little asshole tweet out?
Starting point is 01:12:03 He didn't. He did it. He did it. Someone, he changed his account. Somebody stole his account. Ah, and then tweeted that. That's funny. Okay.
Starting point is 01:12:10 It was funny. It was funny. It was funny. I was about to go in on that. You know what? That's why I stopped. You know? Okay, what was the tweet?
Starting point is 01:12:18 So he, so the guy got hacked or the guy got caught hacking. For the record, fuck that dude. I saw that. Yeah. Yeah. So he exposed that guy. So he changed his at because so many people were tweeting at him. Somebody stole his old, old at and tweeted, I let you down.
Starting point is 01:12:33 And it was a picture of the optic India guy who cheated over a four seconds. It was good. Either way, don't stop me because I was about to talk shit on this Durpin kid. Like, don't be a loser. It's the internet. You're never going to get away with it, ever. You're never going to have a career in Call of Duty or any other e-sport if you are known to be a fucking cheater. So I don't know what this kid was trying to do.
Starting point is 01:12:55 I don't know if he was trying to make a quick buck and get $10,000 and ruin us, you know, whatever, forever. But, man, I would love nothing more than to be an incredible, above average, a detiered Call of Duty player. You know what I mean? I would do any, but you don't see me out there trying to fucking fake the funk. Like you can't be that big You're saying you're not a D tier called D-Dibbler? That's true. That's a good point.
Starting point is 01:13:22 I mean, you think anybody of the pro league cheats or has cheated ever? Oh, dang. All that's a rabbit hole. 100%. Somebody strike-packed or somebody's downloaded somebody in competitive environment.
Starting point is 01:13:37 Dude, what's a little USB that people plug into the PS4? Because that thing is got. Strike-pack. Oh, Kronis. No, Kronis. I don't trust that. Oh, no, we got cheated on for three years in MW2 and Hitch refused to believe it. Oh, he did.
Starting point is 01:13:48 It made us better. But I don't know, maybe someone could have cheated. That would be very interesting. I can't wait for land to come back. I think somebody's cheated. I don't know who it is, because I don't know, but there's no way one person hasn't cheated. They probably got smoked. I don't think it was the top two team.
Starting point is 01:14:07 Yeah, I don't think you'd know. There isn't a world since 2006. Let's do even 2010. There isn't a world since 2010 in which your bullshit doesn't get called out when it needs to and that you don't get caught. Nobody's perfect. You are going to slip and you are going to get caught.
Starting point is 01:14:26 Someone's going to see something. I mean, dude, they did quantum physics and fucking algorithm formulas to say that dream was, you know, setting up his shit. Did you see that PDF? I know nothing about Minecraft. You see how I just saw this? that's how I saw a PDF.
Starting point is 01:14:44 Wait, what happened with that guy? All right. So, Dream. Do you Dream is? Yeah, I mean, I've seen a couple of his Minecraft videos, yeah. He did a speed run. This is, I don't know if this is any of this is accurate, but I think he did a speed run.
Starting point is 01:15:01 It was like top 16th speed run in the world or something like that. Like, not like anything crazy. But the speed running community kind of started to dislike Dream because they thought he was, like, messing with stuff. so they made like a PDF file like a 30. It was like 30 pages. It was like something insane. It was way too many pages.
Starting point is 01:15:19 They like went through his entire stream and like wrote down how like the... They broke down the probability. Probability of each thing happening. It was like his luck would have had to be like won at like 32 trillion or something like that. So like he ranked up like the R&G
Starting point is 01:15:38 because I think he knows how to code. So So people, but now the thing is, is like, why do people care if he did that? If he's not going for the world record. I mean, because he makes the best, he makes like the best Minecraft content. Like he's. When you showed him to me and when you showed me the whole thing, one, the idea was genius. And when he was doing the things that he did, I was like, this is the best fucking Minecraft content I've ever seen, period.
Starting point is 01:16:05 It was. And then, and then when you told me like a week later, it's like, dude, it's crazy how what happens in the. beginning affects what happens later on in the video. Dude, he'll grab like, he'll grab like a, like a, like a pair of shoes that makes you walk on ice or walk on water it turns in ice. And you'll see it in like, like seven minutes into the video. And then he'll use it for something to stay alive like 30 minutes later. It's like, it's really crazy.
Starting point is 01:16:34 So I really, so I really. Right. So it's like, he does so much crazy shit where it's like, I don't care if he's using. using that little tiny, it's not like he's cheating the game. Speed runners are such a specific subsective. Speed running is different because that's like competitive stuff. Those records are sacred to them. So like I understand why they would be upset, but that.
Starting point is 01:16:56 Hey, that's just this. I don't know. I just, what dream is done for Minecraft, like that whole dream S&P, they boosted. I mean, my favorite Minecraft YouTuber, I started watching him when he first started blowing up and he was getting like 2,000 views on stream. He's recently started playing on the Dream S&P, which is Dream server. Now he gets like 13,000 people watching him live. It's fucking crazy
Starting point is 01:17:21 what that dude has done. So, I mean, I guess, props to him. I do, it's a show at the end of the day and if he's not actively trying to compete or whatever. Right. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:17:33 I completely respect and understand the reason why the speed running community is mad at it. Yeah. And he shouldn't have done that. whether he did or didn't, I don't know, I didn't look at the PDF. I didn't be. I didn't know. I saw one graph and I was like,
Starting point is 01:17:48 I'm close 30 pages. YZ minus X, parentheses. I was like, yeah, it's not my language. I'm out of here. No. Not my thing. I don't know. I do love the fact that Minecraft
Starting point is 01:17:59 still reigns supreme, though. I do. It's the best capable of all time. It pisses me off that that's our best video on our channel is you watching Minecraft content. I try to get them to watch Minecraft. I try to get them to play Minecraft. forever and then they got bored
Starting point is 01:18:12 and the problem is is that that competitive itch was always inside of yeah it still is but not specifically for cod yeah yeah that's the problem it is I had to get it out I was like dude no once I got hacked on three times Minecraft's where the views at
Starting point is 01:18:28 they were like yeah but yeah but we have to like Minecraft Minecraft is a game Minecraft as a game has created more millionaire gaming creators than any other game out there in the world period And buy a lot. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:44 Buy a lot. I can't wait. Yeah. Yeah, way more. You know, Fortnite has never passed Minecrafted viewership on YouTube. No, it touched it. It touched it a couple of weeks. It got close, but never passed it.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Yeah. Which even in 2018, which is crazy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, I guess the other one that gets up there to in viewership is GTA. Anyway, I think that that's going to do it for this episode of the Optic podcast. Thank you for the TST boys. will stopping by and be so I do want to sit down with you at some point in and talk about aliens and why it is that you don't believe in them
Starting point is 01:19:16 I mean aside from religion is there a reason coffee and let's talk is there a reason though like I mean is the universe not I just don't need them to exist you know what I mean I don't need a lot of people need them I don't need them I don't need them either but I saw one we can talk yeah I just do you believe it I mean yeah I feel like there's something out there I mean I've seen some crazy videos yeah I think they're they might not be similar to us body
Starting point is 01:19:41 wise on my fucking camera I'll show you it's it's don't show a picture Alan I thought this right I watched the YouTube you believe in aliens that's a yes Maddie
Starting point is 01:19:53 Roger there could literally be like microscopic life like floating through space and we just can't see it like there could be aliens they're just not we could be giants
Starting point is 01:20:04 in comparison to the aliens and vice versa there you go you know what I mean like that's why we don't see them Because you ever seen Independence Day With the little guy What is they're just like size of chairables That is FBI?
Starting point is 01:20:15 That is FBI That is FBI Men and Black That's men in black Probably the FBI too actually Yeah the FBI does that shit I remember that All right everybody
