Starting point is 00:00:00 They're really good again. If I'm Call of Duty, if I'm Halo, if I'm any developer in the fucking world, I steal that idea. It's okay to steal that one. Steal everything from Fortnite, bro, besides the building. And you'll probably have a good game. Yeah. God. Welcome, welcome, welcome to episode of 42 of the Optic Podcast.
Starting point is 00:00:22 This episode is brought to you by Hello Fresh and BetterHelp. And we'll tell you a little bit more about them later on. Let's talk a little bit about the face collab event that happened. We got to talk about the party. Are we, should we ask Paige before the last? can't talk about the party why the after party oh no don't talk about just talk about the part the party the pine park party you went you went you went how did you like it it was exactly what i imagined which was what it's like like like low key so it wasn't like i didn't want it to be like
Starting point is 00:00:51 too much where i'm like i just want to go back i feel under dress like i need to go back to the hotel it wasn't like that it was like i was in a hoodie in like shorts and i was definitely underdress for the occasion but like i don't think so it didn't feel like i was no you weren't everybody was just five everyone was just chill and like i don't know the entrance, it felt like, I was like, it's so quiet. What the fuck? It's like, no one show up? Is it so fucking loud?
Starting point is 00:01:11 And then, and like, I got to the back and it got so loud. I was like, what the fuck? Everyone was in the back like a bunch of ants. And then we were all, okay, this far was sick. I walked in the back and like outside, because there's like a bunch of garagers that were open or some shit. And like, like, you go outside. And in the middle of the room, you just see four just ten tens.
Starting point is 00:01:29 Four tens rolling jays. And I'm like, walking past, like, I've got to be fucking faded. There's no way that's happening. I see like Lamar standing there asking for Jay's again too please I'm like wait what the fuck I'm like is he asking for J's and they were just like yeah sure rolling them and shit and they were all 10s I was like that oh yeah oh you're talking about the girls yeah like where'd you find them I didn't I did it where did you find them you give me the ad dress hot ass like joint rollers that was crazy it's crazy but overall it was fun as fuck hell yeah I could smell it because
Starting point is 00:01:58 like I'm losing my sense to smell again but I could I could smell I could smell a little bit like a weed whenever I went back there. And I was like, I don't see like, I just saw two bars. I was like, I guess people are like just brought their own weed. I didn't see anything. And I saw everybody like just in different huddles. And then I saw the picnic table. And I was like, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Just it was the whole table. Just jars. You guys were just roll. And the talk was great too, by the way. I was in the corner. You didn't either. Me either, bro. Everyone was telling me like, yo, they're so good.
Starting point is 00:02:30 They're so good. I was sneakily eating tacos. like two here, too there. I'm gonna get some water. Lying. You go get two more. Somebody told me, he was like,
Starting point is 00:02:40 yo, somebody just ate 19 tacos. And I was like, what the fuck? That was me. Omen's. No. Omen's at 19 tacos.
Starting point is 00:02:49 He's like, yo, I just fucking knocked out like 19. I was like, you're a fucking legend, dude. Everybody's fucking wondering. I was talking about it.
Starting point is 00:02:57 I heard somebody ate 19 in these things. How did you like it? I had a great time. I showed up. Yeah, I was the same way. When I came in, I'm like, ooh, I don't really hear nobody. I got to put a tweet. We got to, like, collectively start tweeting.
Starting point is 00:03:10 I was gas in the art. I was gas in the art. I was gas in the art. I was like, I mean, the art's dope, though. Like, I don't know. I know when it will come. Like, as soon as I instantly. Let me set it up.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Let me set it up. We ran out an art gallery, a, a parking lot of a sort of a small little club. Right. So when you walk in, you walk in through an art gallery. And in the art gallery, you had pictures that we had taken. as we were harvesting as we were growing as we were shooting the announcement, and we put all those up.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Then you get past this little room, this little gallery room, and then you enter like the back room, which is where all of the Pine Park packaging was displayed. There was the apparel was displayed. And then you go through the secret room and then you get into that little club area where we had a DJ.
Starting point is 00:03:53 And then you go through two bay doors and then you are in the parking lot. And the parking lot was sealed off and it was just like a party in a parking lot. And all the way in the back, we had tacos. In the middle, we had a picnic table with at least like three pounds of chronic. And I'm not talking about it. More than that, bro.
Starting point is 00:04:11 It had even more than that. No, no, the more was in the back. It just kept on the table. I saw that table. That was like six pounds of getting that. There was a lot. There's like bags you get cotton candy in. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:21 Giant bag. It's filled to the prim with coach. I'm like, bro, what is? I'm like, I got to be fated. I'll be able to be back. I didn't have you I fear this. And a lot of people came. A lot of people from the cannabis industry came.
Starting point is 00:04:36 A lot of the craziest thing about that is like the buzz around it is insane. Like I keep getting text from my business partners, Max and Tyler. And then that it's just like there's this massive buzz around Pine Park. Massive buzz around Pine Park. And then the text that I see in from the people that I was seeing, I was just like, bro, this is this is like fucking blowing up. I'm so happy, man. Are you going to throw a party each state you launch? Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:04 So the Seattle party and the Vegas party? The Vegas party, yes. I was going to say, it's next. But yeah, so it'll be, it'll be. You have more of those? I don't run it back now. We're going to run it back. What happens next time?
Starting point is 00:05:16 I am not drinking next time. Like in Vegas, like dolphins rolling jays. I'm like, how did you fucking? How did you get this at that happened? You're just like just gab it, dude. Just ask him for a joint. You're going to be like, you're going to look up. You're going to see people swing.
Starting point is 00:05:27 What is this? Like, oh, is Cirque, so pine. Pine Park. Turkey, so, Cush gods. Yeah, that's the,
Starting point is 00:05:35 that's the thing. I'm trying to figure out a way to just be, like, open to the public. Like, I know that we're going to have,
Starting point is 00:05:41 like, a, so that's the launch party. The product itself isn't available until sometime in early October. We'll give more
Starting point is 00:05:49 information on that, but once that happens, that's going to be. You didn't even say about the goody bags. You didn't see the goody bags? I think it was kind of like
Starting point is 00:05:55 spontaneous. Instead of someone, I see this guy, I'm like, waiting for my Hoover, this guy comes, by with like a giant bag of Cush and he's like fucking he's heaving it
Starting point is 00:06:03 along I'm like holy shit and then he's just handing handfuls to people I'm seeing people put it in their pocket yeah it's grabbing in just putting in their pocket I'm like what the fuck I was like walking out like the Uber's here I'm seeing that at the corner of my eye I'm like what the fuck it's so savage I gotta get the fuck out of here look what the fuck yeah it's like
Starting point is 00:06:19 people people were actually surprisingly were very respectful and on that which I wasn't expected it's free it's free you know it's free crush you can grab a much as you want and just take it yeah I just see Nick get every time I said and he's like you're high out of your fucking mind okay so we had we had two bars did you have a good drinking time no I didn't drink at all too I mean either I was
Starting point is 00:06:45 cool like two or drink all drinking is water and I would only like smoke every every so often like what one of our one of our grower partners who used to be a member who is a member of the green wall from the jump who's now like this artist grower like he He grows like, knows everything about there. There's no, like, he brought me two gold leaf blunts as a gift, the celebration. You were in the pick with. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:08 So that was super cool. But, you know, I, working with people that are in the green wall in different businesses, like, that to me, was like super dope. Because he, like, because you can imagine them. Those, like, three people that were green wall members that were in that industry that got invited. One of them was from Oklahoma, our friend. what's the name? Split the wig. Yeah, split the wig.
Starting point is 00:07:30 And then we had this dude named Redbeard, who does concentrate out of, I believe, maybe Arizona. Anyway, they were there. They're like, dude, like, I'm seeing Seth. I'm seeing form. I'm seeing Bose. I'm seeing Nick.
Starting point is 00:07:44 The wig is cool. If you ever met him, you'd fuck with him. You see everybody, and they're like, because you can imagine them, right? Like they watch every single day, and then all of a sudden they're at a party and shit. Yeah, yeah. But overall, like,
Starting point is 00:07:57 from what I'm hearing, it was a great, great success. More to come, bro, that shit is that more to come, and that's the craziest part. I know those are going to be more. That's what's crazy about that is that, obviously, we all have fun there. I was a social butterfly every single time, because it was my party and I've never had a party like that. Yeah. You know what I mean? So how did that feel?
Starting point is 00:08:14 You were running around. Like, did you feel like you had to like, one of you one, talk to everyone? Like, you had to give them a little like, yo, what's good? Like, how you doing? Thank you for coming out. Absolutely. Everyone you saw probably. Everybody that I saw.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Do you know everyone there? 99%. Yeah. The only people that I didn't know was some of the cannabis influencers and some of the business people from the cannabis industry. But I got to meet everyone and every single time I spent too much time with someone immediately I'd be like, I'm like, you're neglecting other people. So I'd be like, oh, I'm up.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Yeah, that's what I'm saying. And I was just like, you were like not being fair to everyone. No, yeah. So I feel like you came over to me one time and I was like, look at you giving me your little like, my little piece. I'm like, that's good. You have a good time? You have a good time?
Starting point is 00:08:54 I'm just like, I know what you're doing. I really did. I was like, I fuck with it. Yeah, no, it was good. Like Jude was there, so I felt like I was like, I was like, every, I'm like, go there, got to go see Jude. Jude was something, like, Jude would, with Nate and his girl, with Seth and his girl, with, with, uh, ice and his, his girl.
Starting point is 00:09:14 We were just all over. Oh, yeah, I saw ice. I saw ice. I forgot about that. Yeah. He's funny as hell. Yeah. I was seeing mad people.
Starting point is 00:09:20 I'm like, I haven't seen you since MLG did. Yeah. Yeah. Bro, everybody. What's dope is that people that don't even smoke showed up. Yeah. That to me was like the dopest part. You know,
Starting point is 00:09:29 I saw a lot of old machinima people that I knew that showed up and like some of them don't smoke. They were just there to support and, and have fun, which was like the dopeest part about the whole thing. But I did feel like I was ignoring people and I'm like, I don't know, but it was like fucking 350 people. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:09:45 You know what I mean? So I'm like, it was crazy. At first, like within the first hour of opening, because I was there to do press, a lot of people showed up and it was all of, everybody that I knew. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:09:55 I was like, because I was nervous going in. I was telling Jude in the cab right or in the Uber, I'm like, I'm nervous, I'm nervous, I'm nervous.
Starting point is 00:09:59 She's like, why? I'm like, what if nobody shows up? Yeah, that'd be so lame. It's the worst part. That'd be so late.
Starting point is 00:10:04 It's just us. It's just us. Imagine. Yeah, but it's like, I was, I was nervous about that. I was nervous about that for two reasons.
Starting point is 00:10:12 One, we required like, obviously for safety reasons, we have the COVID stuff. Right. Right. They might scare some people away. So they might scare some people away.
Starting point is 00:10:20 And also it's cannabis. Not everybody smokes cannabis, right? So I figured I'm like, whatever. But at one point, I remember seeing like everybody that I knew. And I'm like, all right, cool. If nobody else shows up, I think we're still good. It's still a fun time. Yeah, still a fun time.
Starting point is 00:10:30 Then it started. It felt like you got crowded hella fast. Bro, I remember. I remember one point in that party. I was like, oh, my God, this has to end at some point. I was just like, fuck. I was so salty. I feel you.
Starting point is 00:10:42 But it was good. I had a lot of fun. So you and Nick had a lot of fun. I saw Nick dancing. to some point, I'm like, Nick stopped doing it because I had the mic at the point. Yeah. Yeah. I got really, really drunk.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Because I was, I was thinking, like, should I smoke or should I drink? I have to split the two. So I was like, I'll just drink because I knew it was going to be like a long night. Yeah. And so I just started drinking and then I started mixing alcohols all night. And that was, I don't know why I did that. You know better. Because you were drunk.
Starting point is 00:11:14 You were like, it's fun. Yeah. If you convince yourself, it was fine. You always do. You're like, you just drink whatever. If you drink vodka, you drink vodka the whole night. Yeah. But then I was drinking vodka and then they ran out of vodka.
Starting point is 00:11:25 And I was like, no. I was like, they only had tequila. Jen is fine. Yeah, that's disgusting. I know like Jen is fine. That's disgusting. And then they ran out of it. Or then we left and went somewhere else and they, everyone got tequila shots.
Starting point is 00:11:38 And I was like, it's still light. It's still. Yeah. Dude. No wonder. Oh my God. And you know that tequila is security. Tequila, when you drink.
Starting point is 00:11:48 when you drink tequila after you've been drinking all the other shit tequila security tequila will get in there and kick everybody out yeah vodka fucking jeep it really well it really will tequila is a whole different night tequila's a different night than like normal
Starting point is 00:12:02 I turned into a monster and that's right what happened the shot like you just feel to go through your veins you're like fight somebody that's Hennessey makes you funny anyway so the next day we had to go do the land
Starting point is 00:12:14 tournament against Faze and we had to take a two hour drive from where we were staying to e-sports arena in somewhere in the West Carolina Santa Ana. And you know, shout out to them for hosting. Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:27 It was a cool facility. It was like a really dope vibe in there. It was like, you know, I was like, I fucked with it, bro. I was like, this feels weird but cool. Like it was anywhere else I would have been going. I mean, I was going through hell anyway. Yeah, you went through it, bro. Dude, we showed up in Davis.
Starting point is 00:12:42 This first thing Davis does. I'm smoking a cigarette outside. I just see Davis like a couple like parking spots down. Yeah, just like just walking. Like looking at the floor, like kicking dirt. He's like kicking dirt, just like just reflecting on these like horrible decisions. I was like, oh my God. I talked about in the summer cast, I felt like I was trying to find Jesus.
Starting point is 00:12:59 I was just walking around the parking lot and I really didn't even have thoughts going. My thoughts were like, I'm going to get sick again. And I was, but it was just like the like pacing and like feeling the fresh air like was some sort of relief. I just kept walking. You looked miserable. day. Oh, it was horrible. It was really bad. Nick, too. Nick, bro. Nick had a good night. I'm just like sitting there like, you had a good night.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Everybody is all both head down and scared. I was like, bro, come on. I think Nick was still drunk when he woke up. Yeah. Hell yeah. Yeah, what? Yeah. And I think he was drunk on the way there. Probably drunk the whole day. Yeah. I think I saw him taking shots out of that mini bar, no cap. I mean, if anything, that would have been the right move to do. Well, I woke up on the plane, like from the window and Nick was in front of me. And then like, I woke up for like two, three seconds. And then, and instantly.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Like I peeked through the crack. Did you see what Nick was doing? Instantly, I got a with alcoholics. Ew. I'm like, damn. You're like, you're like, you have to shake that out.
Starting point is 00:14:00 But it was a dope-ass event, man. Like, uh, it was, it was all Battle Warfare too, which you never played. I never played it. Like, I've seen,
Starting point is 00:14:08 I've seen the maps before just like through the years. Like, I don't, I don't know where the fuck I'm going. Yeah. Like Rust, I can kind of understand. That's the sand one, right?
Starting point is 00:14:15 I could understand that one. Yeah. But like the other ones. bro, like, remember when Adapt was up top? Yeah, I mean, I didn't even know that. I was like, what is this? I was looking to all you guys. Like, you motherfuckers? I knew about that. I just forgot.
Starting point is 00:14:24 I knew he was doing some shit like that. That's how I know I play. That's how I know he plays it like not frequently or he played it within the last few months. Dude, I got throwing knives off spawn and went on four. Oh, yeah. Rain throwing knife on spawn. They all got hype. I got so mad.
Starting point is 00:14:37 I got so mad. I sat back in my chair. I was like, I try to hold this, dude. I must just say that. Yeah. They're all freaking out. Like, clip it. Clip it.
Starting point is 00:14:44 I'm like, huh? Dude, I was so, man. I sat back. I was like, yeah, they're all B. I don't even know what the fuck. I'm like, it's off spawn. Yeah. Like, they're all B?
Starting point is 00:14:54 What? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I did not know what to expect into it. Because I remember, like, I played a lot of Mono War II, but I stopped like mid, mid-year in Mount Warford, too. Anyway, I thought it was like an excellent event. We sold the, look, I don't want to say it here because it'd be crass. So I'm not going to say it, but boy.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Did well? Oh, yeah, it did well. That's good. fucking it fucking bang so that was the phase optic collab this year and next year we're doing the optic phase collab yeah the optic phase collab next year and I told them there yeah what's the difference face face optic yeah optic yeah well they're gonna come here but I'm gonna take them straight to the ranch where we have the the long distance shooting range that's where I shot 925 yards you did I did and then we have a you guys have you guys started away let me tell you again but but they made more quarter you want to do you want to record it you want to do you want to do you want to record it you want to do you want to do it you want to record it you want to Want to see it? It's like, it's like, this dude, one of my business partners, his name is Toby Thomas, is like successful entrepreneur, has this like massive, massive ranch, which is where we do like Googling camp.
Starting point is 00:15:56 You're funny as hell too. You're hilarious, bro. Somehow I came across his Instagram the other day and then I'm looking, I'm looking, and I see him post with his crib. Yeah. Then I see your comment download. You're like, that's a nice mega church behind you. That's his house.
Starting point is 00:16:11 You look like a church. I'm like, yo, what church are you at? Like, oh, man. So anyway, so we're going to go there and we're going to do like all of. We're going to, we're going to next year's is going to be fucking ill too. It's going to be sick. Because we were thinking about it. I'm like, obviously it's a successful thing, right?
Starting point is 00:16:29 Like, and it's not like we overdid it. Like we're still competitors. Obviously, when, when the lights come on. But I don't know. I thought that that was cool to do from a, from an influencer perspective and, you know, that, that player perspective. It went well, too. It was definitely a fun time. Like even going back there the last time, like in doing all the paintball stuff and going back and doing like an actual call duty event.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Like hopefully next time we can do it all in one week. Yeah. Oh, we will. We will. No, it's just the worst timing. These past couple of months have been the worst timing ever, period, just on everything. Back to disrespect. Oh, no, it was myth.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Myth comes out and says something along the lines off. I'll never put any controller player in my top. What? He's he's a savage for tweeting that. Yeah. Knowing how many people follow him that are from the cops. That shit got Twitter around of. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Everyone was up in arms. I didn't say shit. I was like, you know, he'll get tweeted about it. You know, you know, crum was tweeted so funny. Yeah. With all due respect, suck my, you know. The thing is, like, why would he tweet that, though? Like, was that myth?
Starting point is 00:17:37 Like, why would he tweet that? He means it? I don't know. He just like, look, what am I just, have that thought? I just don't underthink. like, all right, so I played Cod for a long time. Yeah. A long-ass time.
Starting point is 00:17:49 I just don't think, I'm just going to say people like him. I don't mean no disrespect, but I'm just going to say it. People like him, I don't think they understand what it takes to kill someone like formal skump. Yeah, yeah. Or even to go, like, I don't like. I don't think he played, like meant it in that way or, but I'm just saying in general. He meant it. I'm just, he said top 10.
Starting point is 00:18:10 So that's what I'm saying. Like, bro, they're like, it's. like it's different like until you're running around controller or whatever versed them you'll understand like it just seemed like a really naive tweet like I was just like where are you getting that from yeah I was like do you even follow like console east sports at all that no he does though he does he does he's he does he does he he's he does he's he does he's he watching I don't know but he used to watch something up until that because he's like I think he I mean he he he was a fan at one point of the scene he obviously came up in fortnight and then did he he he did he he he he's like he obviously came up in
Starting point is 00:18:40 Fortnite and then did he But before that though. I don't know. I feel like Fortnite kids could just be Fortnite kids No gap. No, no, no. But that's before that. I'm saying that's when he blew up. Yeah. And then he was like trying to compete. And then didn't he play like Apex?
Starting point is 00:18:54 Like basically what I'm saying is, is he played games where they're, where they're against cod player. There was controller versus keyboard stuff already. So if he loses to a guy that got really good aim assist. Yeah, Fortnite right? Then it's like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:19:08 Fortnite was a, what's it called? So maybe that's where it's coming Where it comes from He may follow up He did follow up and say I'm gonna keep it real I was talking out of my ass As someone that's nowhere near Qualified enough to be spreading that type of slander
Starting point is 00:19:20 Sorry all Nate Chad made a perfect point And I can't disagree with it As I believe in that shit myself Can't talk about shit I don't know I don't know what Nate said though What did Nate said? Your opinion went out the door
Starting point is 00:19:30 When you slander some of the best players In the world just because they play in controller If you didn't match up on main stage Against them yeah That's exactly what you just said On top of that you haven't been around long enough Yeah you know what's crazy I know he didn't mean it in a mean way.
Starting point is 00:19:42 He was just, I don't know, it's just one of those moments. He was just bullshitting, but. He was just bored or something. Everyone was bullshitting, because I said some crazy shit too. No. What you say? I just said I've never seen a keyboard, I've never seen a player that plays a mouse and keyboard pick up a controller and do well.
Starting point is 00:19:59 But that's because it just doesn't happen. Yeah. It's a good point. I haven't seen anything. No. Go like the other way. A lot of control players try. Try a mouse and keyboard eventually.
Starting point is 00:20:08 like get bored on warzone like teep i think plays on like pc you yeah i mean you you play valourine yeah i know a lot of cod players a lot of cod players like a lot of them played ts as well yeah a lot of them played c s when that was popular it's like and it makes sense i mean i was just bullshitting but it makes sense why i i i believe that a mouse and keyboard player could play on controller but why would they want to because they're never yeah it's harder they're never gonna play a game that requires control dude i just think the biggest thing i just think the most like pointless pointless part of all of it is just the argument in the first place. Controller versus mouse and keyboard.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Like you're never going to get the other side to switch over. There's just no way you're going to convince the other side. Like, bro, trust, we got the best shit. They're like, not we got the best shit. It's just going to be running in circles forever. I've never. I'll tell you what my attention. I wasn't offended because I know what I can do in Battalion 1944 with a mouse and keyboard.
Starting point is 00:20:59 So I wasn't offended. If someone's nasty and they're gifted, then you're just going to notice it regardless. Whether they're playing a mouse keyboard controller. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? I've seen my montage. I have seen it too. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:21:10 that's a good point. That's how I wrap it up right there. If you haven't checked out, Hector's montage. No, like you said, it's hand-eye coordination at the end of the day.
Starting point is 00:21:21 And some people having some people down. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. How often are you asked, I don't know if I've asked you this on like a podcast. How often are you asked about Halo on your stream?
Starting point is 00:21:33 A lot. A lot? Yeah. Just because there's a lot of hype around HAL right now. I'm sure it's driving a lot of like Halo viewers just to my stream to ask you know what's your opinion on the top 25 you know I'm sure you guys have all seen that it's been a big thing. What is your opinion on the top 25?
Starting point is 00:21:45 I think it's pretty there's a couple things I disagree with like I think Ogre 2's number one for sure just by default I think Ola's number 2 but that's because when I played it was in 2011 and lots happened since then you know like lethal and Royal 2 and snake fighting them they want a lot
Starting point is 00:22:00 so like how I viewed them like they were like coming up with me it felt like me and lethal were like boys like Like we were both like trying to win our first event and shit, you know what I'm saying? But then like as I was gone, it seemed like he'd start winning everything apparently. So like I guess like you can make an argument for TJ being number two. I just know when I played, Bistola was a fucking, that guy was fucking talent, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:19 I give that guy a hell of respect. And just like how I team with him too. I know what that motherfucker brings at the table. Well, that guy's gifted, bro. Yeah. But some of the ones are a little skewed. Like it's just hard to put value. Like how can you weigh a Halo 5 event versus a Halo 2 event?
Starting point is 00:22:32 You know, like in 2006, that doesn't, it's not the same as like a 2009. you know, 19 event. It's just, and both, both generations are going to argue their points. Yeah. It's another thing where they're not going to side with each other. They're not going to be like, you're not going to convince me over who's number one. They're like, pro, lethal's been winning everything.
Starting point is 00:22:46 You know, I'm sure there's someone out there that does think he is number one. Yeah. I'm sort of glad that that happened because it always goes back to like if Jordan was playing in this day and age. Everyone just argues just to argue, really. It's just something to talk about. It's like something like everyone can let their like fandom come out a little bit, give like background facts about so and so, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:23:04 You must want to watch the 2006 Orlando. You don't know what the fuck's saying did. I'm like, you're right, I don't. They're crazy for even doing this on the official Twitter in the first place. Yeah, that's a lot. I really like the videos, though. The videos in the top 10 are sick as fuck.
Starting point is 00:23:17 I watch all of them. They look sick as fuck. The videos are really dope. Were you in top 25? No, you know, I wasn't. We talked about this. Did we really? I don't trust me.
Starting point is 00:23:25 I'm just kidding. Yeah. Like, I don't think. So here we go. Number one, 923. Okay, so two is who? They don't know yet. T.J.
Starting point is 00:23:32 It has to be T. If it's not TJ, then they're just trolling. Who's number one? Oger 2. Okay. Yeah, it has to be. Like, where's Oger 1 at? He's like 11, right, or something?
Starting point is 00:23:41 I got on my glasses. I've seen lunchbox. Like, a lot of people would argue that Oger 1, Oger 1's like top 5, right? Like, see that... They were the twins, like, Ogar 1, 2. They were just like the ones that won, everything, right? So what separates Ogar 1 and 2 from, why is he...
Starting point is 00:23:56 It's like a couple of minutes? Because O'G1 retired. No, because O'R1 retired, like, really early. And he moved off a couple minutes. Oh, like. He just dipped, like on the HALO-HALOCE completely random. And his brother kept playing. His brother kept playing and kept winning a lot.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Oger 2 is hell of good, bro. Like, hell of good. He's like, obviously, he's definitely the goat and halo. But like I said, I think Pistolo was number two, brother. That motherfucker. It's going to be crazy to see if there's another, like, the same way that like Shotsie and Frosty and that whole like new age Halo scene came in, it's going to be interesting to see who from the top 10 keeps going.
Starting point is 00:24:31 Because now all these guys are getting pretty fucking old. Let's see. Like, like, even like Roy and lunchbox, bro, there's some typical ass duos like twins in that scene. But Roy and Lunchbox, bro, two of the most nicest guys ever met in my life. Yeah. Like if I wanted to fucking pick teammates and clone them all, I'd pick like them too. Yeah. They're exactly what you'd want as a teammate, bro.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Like, and they were all teaming with pistola and over two. Yeah. It's like when I played, that's what I was going up against. I was like, you know, wonder. You're fucking God's life. You know what I'm saying? I got Nick. I got Nick.
Starting point is 00:25:01 And I got Nick. And I'm battling them. I'm going to war with them on main stage, bro, and just losing every time. I'm like, dude, this is so annoying. They were so good. But yeah, I mean, like, it's a pretty good top 25. I don't know where they put Shotsie,
Starting point is 00:25:15 but that was definitely kept. If, like, the one they just threw Shotsie in there, number 14, like, it just seems so random and it just seemed like so like, it was just like, oh, what are you basing your list off of them? If this is what it's up to until Shotsie, you're just like, Shotsie's 14. Like, nah, there's no way Shotsie's 14.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Like, he should definitely be able. He only played Halo 5. He's 16, right? You think, I don't know that deep in ALO, but I feel like, from what I know, I feel like I would put Ace. Nah, no. No. No. No.
Starting point is 00:25:42 Like, I love Aaron, but, like, he just hasn't won enough. I think Shotsie won a world championship, I guess, and, like, a bunch of other men. He was dominant, you know. Who's the most impactful player for the scene on that list? Pistola. I was supposed to say Ola. Pistola, bro. Not Walshi?
Starting point is 00:25:55 Pistola, and then, like, maybe number two might be. Not T squared? No, number two might be steak, bite. I was going to say, I was going to say the two, the three people I knew. like without touching HAL, I've never played Halo besides 60-50, so I didn't watch it or anything. But the people I knew just from just knowing is T-squared, Walsheet, and Pistol. Yeah, T-square and Walshiel were like the staples of like, they were like the first like MLG like superstars. Remember when Tom was on the Dr. Hupper bottle?
Starting point is 00:26:20 Yeah, it's worth it. What? Was he actually? Yeah, right there. He's like holding the controller and he was on like, like a shit ton of bottles. It was cool as fuck. Like how many? You could go to the gas station, like no cab.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Cap like we were at an event when it happened it is crazy how went to the gas season right there how far ahead that's fucking phoG halo like Halo like e-sports up to Halo 3 was so far so far ahead of its time oh dude I'm almost you guys I was talking about with my shoot last night there would never be anything unlike MLG events ever again bro yeah it's walking in that venue and you hear like crowds like cheering from like other games the doctor pepper booth you know I'm saying she the dr. pepper girls like you never you know you're never gonna get one but you always hope you know
Starting point is 00:27:01 You're just like, God, who is that? You're like, 13? Yeah, yeah. I'm just like, I got a pro pass on. I'm trying to flash it when I'm walking in. Here comes fucking Mason. Yeah, here comes neighbor. Dude, one event, one of it was like Columbus 2011.
Starting point is 00:27:14 I'm in the lobby, like, I'm just like, I don't know, just trying to make friends or something. Like, like, a second event pro. I see that like all straight rip in, like, one of the best looking teams I've ever seen. It was like T squared, Elamite, fucking legit and neighbor. And all just like walking with the Dr. Pepper girls around their shoulder, no cap. I'm just like, that's so fucking cool. I was like, that's going to be me one day just talking like, too, or something.
Starting point is 00:27:37 He was like, yeah, whatever, dude. Yeah, I mean, the list looks good, I guess. Are you gonna play when it comes out? Yeah, I might try the beta, bro. I mean, I'm pretty addicted to Vow right now, but the beta's supposed to come out tomorrow. What rank are you in Valor? Immortal.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Like, Immortal 3. Is that what's the highest? It's close to Radiant. Radiance the highest, yeah. Like, I play against Radiant players all the time and, like, pros every now and then. Shit on them? I don't really know until after the game.
Starting point is 00:28:00 because like what I put on streamer mode a lot of people play a streamer mode so like I only see like their character name until after the game you look at the stats you see who you played against and that's like it's kind of cool you think oh my god I fucking show on this guy you know that actually play is on PC tomorrow or do I need a system what halo oh I don't know I think you can play on PC you yeah you have to sign up for like Halo insider I don't have a controller they don't think I might fucker what do you play it I think like an Xbox stuff but I have we have a bunch of we got a lot yeah we have a lot of I have one on open brand new I'll bring it to you.
Starting point is 00:28:30 But you got to give it back because it's an optic Chicago one. I got to do it. All right. Take care. Nick. Have a good meeting. Actually, we're going to go on a quick commercial break. We'll be right back.

Starting point is 00:32:17 Thank you so much to HelloFresh and thank you so much to BetterHelp. Now let's get back to the podcast. podcast. So thank you again to Hello Fresh and Better Help. Maniac replacing Hitch Hitch at a meeting because he is of course a businessman. He's not just a businessman. He's a businessman. Nick, you played Halo.
Starting point is 00:32:34 What do you think of this top 25 list that was put together by the official account? I mean, the list is good. I would say who did you take out? Shotsie. Shotsie's not there. I was like this just does not go with this list.
Starting point is 00:32:51 What are they basing this off of you though? Shotsi was prone for like two years. Yeah. And Halo 5. Like, yes, he dominated Halo 5, but like... If you put him on this list, you can't put Shanty in the same list with Walshi. Yeah. Like, why? That doesn't make any sense.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Yeah. Like, Shotsie was obviously gross. I would take out Shotsie. I would take out... I'd move pistol up, though. No God. I'd put him in number two. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:13 I have Oger 2 number 1. And Ola 2. Ola 2, then lethal 3. Yeah. Ola's definitely not below Snake 3. fight like why is he squeezed in between snake fight and royal two why is he between them winning ffas and halo two winning events in halo three dominant from the rib like dominating too he was he was he was he'll v like different bro in a halo three which like it's hard to make a
Starting point is 00:33:35 p o'v look different he did yeah his p ov look different and then it wins in halo reach like dominating dominating winning h2a dominating wins in halo five as well like he squeaked one out i think so in halo four we did that way me and him dominated in Halo 4 together, no one really cares, but we dominated the six other teams. Yeah. The six other teams. Like, fucking hotel ballers and shit.
Starting point is 00:33:58 I don't know if Justola did win a Halo 5 event, but regardless, I'd still put him over. He's number two. You put him number two, number one, Tuger. Yeah. And then... You have to, right? Yeah, you have to.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Yeah. I don't know at what point you don't. Even though, like, 35 of his wins for from like 2004. I mean, like... No, not really. Like, Tuger's winning events in Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3, Halo reach like H2A or I don't know what he did in H2A and then he was on a he was
Starting point is 00:34:28 teaming with snakebite and royal two for Halo 5 really but he got what a choke but he got dropped what a choke so it's like he got like 50 yeah yeah who'd he get replaced by was it frosty that's such an upgrade for Halo 5 over shoot of Frosty wrote to snake bites yeah I guess that was Yeah. Now, Letha was with Roy and lunch, wasn't he, on EG? I think in the beginning. He was with Roy and lunch on EG, C-E-G, C-L-G?
Starting point is 00:34:59 I don't know. But yeah. Either, anyway. He had royalty and snakefight in his fucking corner. He choked for a halo five. That little duo, it's like auto-dubs. Like, for that period of time, that's like auto-dubs. Those guys are gross.
Starting point is 00:35:12 Got to take Shotsie out. I'd probably take Mickwin out. Yeah, I don't know what Nickwood was doing. Wait, where is he? 22. 22? Mick one's a judge for a. Mickwin, wait.
Starting point is 00:35:21 Mickwin's a judge, and he's also, all the judges were like, he did vote on this? All the judges are like kind of three, four, three people. Yeah, like Wes. So it's like, there had to be some guys with Mickwin. Like, Mickwin snuck his name in there. He took out, he took out like, like, neighbor. He just, he just proved Mason's name.
Starting point is 00:35:41 Nah. Nah, he was 22. He was, trust me, he was. Micklin started doing good and, damn. I think H2. I think he might have won a H2A event And then I think he won a Halo 5 event Like is Ryan really 25th too?
Starting point is 00:35:58 I think he only has like five wins You think Ryan is 25th? Because I'm basing all my shit off of like 2011 beforehand Like I didn't you know what I'm saying I didn't get experienced the Halo 5 dominance from like PJ and them So like other people might look at them like they're pretty fucking final
Starting point is 00:36:12 And they're like yeah these guys are definitely all top 10 But like I don't really seem like that I just know they gross There is definitely recency bias Is Aaron at 16 good too? You think Aaron's above T2? I don't think Aaron's about T2 I don't think Aaron's above any of that row
Starting point is 00:36:28 Well actually maybe karma but About Strongside? Well Strongside only did good for like a few years Yeah but three years But it felt like he was like legendary He was legendary His name though it's so sick Strongside
Starting point is 00:36:42 That's a sick ass fucking name That's a sick name I think just shots see, I don't think I'd, I wouldn't put Mcwin there. But I don't know Mickwin's exact, exact stats. I'd put, I'd put, like, Roy and lunch like six and six. Like, you can't be up there. I'd put Roy in lunch, lunch six and seven, bro.
Starting point is 00:37:02 Like, I'd put Roy lunch six, seven. Eric probably like eight, Walsh nine. You know what I'm saying? Eric would be so salty. You said that. I mean, like, Eric thinks he's like top four. Oh, he definitely does. He definitely does.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Maybe top five. I think the fact, I'm going to give props to HALA for not putting Ninja up there somewhere because I would have totally put in an 11 yeah I would have been like yeah just to get the retweet yeah of course yeah 100% it's like a half and half split with him and ogre one yeah like they could have instead of fucking shotsy yeah it's shotsy it's not like shots he's like 25 like he absolutely dominated 805 like he's gross obviously he's gross just like not on this list but like it doesn't fit on this list he i don't even think he was pro when i played halo 5 the first He wasn't born when you were fucking playing for.
Starting point is 00:37:49 He really wasn't. Yeah, he really wasn't. He was like in second grade. You forget that you're fucking old. Well, the point is this. I think Shotsie was pro for like, yeah, no, I got to. He's been a Halo Pro for like.
Starting point is 00:37:59 He's been playing Halo 5 for a while, right? He was a pro for like two years or something. They've been playing Halo 5 since 2015. I think there was three seasons. So, I think it's four. I don't know. Like a half. But I don't think he was even a pro during the season I was playing.
Starting point is 00:38:13 Yeah, I don't think he was there. So it's just like, how the fuck is he up there? over like these people that were like well like I'm telling you looking at some of these dudes like they're fucking legendary Roy lunch walsh like look at that little combo snipe down like it just doesn't for to me it doesn't look like like I know Royal 2 I know Snakevite against him
Starting point is 00:38:31 those two are fucking disgusting but I'm looking at like Roy and lunch like look at those two yeah they look so fierce and it's like yeah that's Roy and lunch like Titans like Snakefighter real 2 I don't see them like that yeah there's so much like say you flip flop
Starting point is 00:38:45 Snakebite and Royal 2 with Roy and Ludge. Say like Roy and Lunch started dominating Halo 5 at the end. It's like would they flip flop on this? 100%. Yeah 100%. Yeah. There's some recent bias, but like they are like that's the top 10. Yeah, no, 100%.
Starting point is 00:39:04 100% that's the top 10 probably. Well, I don't know about Frosty. I don't see like I don't know how good Brad was like wasn't he only put in HAL5? He was probably the best Halo 5 player. I know he was nasty. I would watch him be like this guy's different. I think he was the best Halo 5 player. But like you see it deserved 10th over Ogre one? Like you know what I'm saying? That's the argument.
Starting point is 00:39:19 Is the best Halo 5 player better than the best Halo 1? Exactly. And he wanted to met in Halo 3? Like who the fuck knows? It's two different, completely different generations, bro. Like that's, Halo 5 style of Halo is not what they were playing. Like yeah, it's like, of course. Frosty is more skilled at gaming than Ogre 1.
Starting point is 00:39:39 And more skilled at Halo than Ogre 1. But is he though? Like how skillful was? was Halo 1, Halo 2, because I played him, right? But I wasn't like a pro. Like, I was just as young as these guys, like, snake by world too. Like, do I think I could have been a pro if I was 18 in Halo 1?
Starting point is 00:39:54 Probably. But, like, how hard was it to go pro in Halo 1? Like, with the three-shot pistol. I mean, I feel like you see it with how fast those players would drop off. I mean, yeah. Like, once competition started coming in, those, a lot of those players that were just like, like, I feel like they'd be, like, casuals and there's not really
Starting point is 00:40:15 cat. No, they're not casual. No, they were grind in that shit. You never know who's like, you know what I'm saying? They're like, how good was saying? You know, how good was saying really? I don't know. Ogre too says he's nasty.
Starting point is 00:40:25 I didn't even play against Pistola, so I don't fucking know. Yeah. Like, yeah, I've, I've tipped pistola a lot, bro. I think that guy's disgusting. I think Sankbites, I think Sankbite's really good because his play style is similar to Pistolas. Like, I think that's the only the player ever played against. So I'm like, this guy's kind of doing shit.
Starting point is 00:40:39 He's like playing, he's like playing, he's like, DJ. Like, I'm like, why am I chasing you so hard? And then I'm like, oh, that's why. Oh, my God, I fell for that shit. I mean, say in one, I think it was like 21 events in three years. But they were also having 17 events per year. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:57 With like. Like, they're not even profiting. Who knows. They're losing money on plane tickets and hotels. Yeah. It's crazy because there's about with obviously living you and Mike, there's probably on this list. I've never heard, I've never heard of saying. You probably never heard of Victory X.
Starting point is 00:41:14 I've never heard of Victory X. She's like, yeah, and Victory X is like for me. See, I know Heinz. That's like one of my favorite, top five teammate from me right there,
Starting point is 00:41:22 Heinz. Bro, you know what's crazy? I never, like I watched maybe in my career, in my life, I've watched maybe three tournaments total, but I know every single one of the players.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Yeah. That's good though. That's a good thing. That's how I feel too. Yeah. I know that for fact. APG is you guys. You guys know APG,
Starting point is 00:41:36 you guys know APG, yeah, of course. Bro, Brad loves that he's a 13. He was so hyped that day. He was refreshing his mentions. I saw someone get pissed.
Starting point is 00:41:43 I forgot who it was. About APG? Was it too? Oh, about, uh, Rangy. Was it AP? Shook one. Someone like tweeted a middle of fingers.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Shook one tweeted. APG roasted him too. Like he was like, quiet down. You said some shit like a total Brad response. Quiet down 26. Yeah, like you get into talking to me. Shook one tweeted APG like,
Starting point is 00:42:04 uh, I wish you looked much success, G, top 25. APG quoted him as like trash SoundCloud rapper wrapping about 100 milligrams of Atterol who never even got top four, fuck you
Starting point is 00:42:18 or something like that. Of course, bad names and dirt on this guy. Like, bad nos and dirt on everyone. Yeah, that's the most APG response. It was such an APG response. I've been reading it and thinking like that's fucking hilarious. Square is pissed. What I like about it is that he was going to piss if he's not top five though. That's how
Starting point is 00:42:34 square it. Who, T, T, too. Yeah. T. Yeah. T. That's what we That's why I call you know, I didn't finish. I was going to say squared. Anyway, so for me, obviously Walshi is number one. It's most impactful for the scene. T-square B number two, even after he, even on the amount of bottles he was in, I think, I think Walshie was a, I don't know, he was the face.
Starting point is 00:42:56 Oh, he was the guy. Yeah, the person in Haleigh. You see him in real life, bro. You're shook. You're like, that's Walshie. What the fuck? Like, you're like shook. And he's so nice, too.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Like, you meet him, you're like, too. You're exactly what I wanted you to be like. And he's like trolly. He's like funny. He's like outgoing. Like he'll make you feel welcome. You know what I'm saying? Like he's never like,
Starting point is 00:43:17 he'd always give you the time of date to like every time I talk to him. He'd be my number one draft pick. You got to get a podcast to one of them. People are saying. But Walsh, he'd be a good one to get on. Oh yeah. He's just never been in the same place.
Starting point is 00:43:28 But yeah, 100%. Yeah. He's already agreed to it like in DMs. Super cool, dude. Yeah. Again, to me, if I'm building a team, a brand inhale,
Starting point is 00:43:35 I'm picking Walshie every single fucking time first. Now? He's like 38. Oh, he's been like a legend, a legend draft. A legend draft. Yeah. Like from the beginning, 100%. It was like, he is what you would expect a superstar player to be.
Starting point is 00:43:49 Dude, even when he trash talked, you remember when there was one event when like... The lollipop shit? Yeah, he was on final boss, right? Like, he was part of that like FB shit. Like that was like super final. And then eventually they dropped him and it was like huge thing. And he went to Instinct. And then they played him the next event.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Instinct beat him. and like his trash talk is so Walshy nice like he was like forget the girl's name and she was like interviewing him after the match Julie Alexander Yeah yeah she's like she's like What's that like for you? And he's just like he's like taking candy from a baby
Starting point is 00:44:18 And you're just like I want laughing it because it's like Walshie has like three moments Like he could have taken that and been so like Mean or like imagine how Nick would have like answered that so different than Wals Like you know what I'm saying Walsh's too nice to be like the motherfucker Which Nick? He added Nick or Nick Halo
Starting point is 00:44:35 Nick. Halo Nick. Yeah. Halo Nick was uterosis. Pretty toxic. Yeah, this motherfucker was taught. He made me like, he made me toxic. He made me, he made me discover parts of myself. You early, you don't see it. Early I was. You, I mean, I, I see it too me. Oh my God. I can hold you. Halo 2 me and Halo 3 me. I was pretty toxic. But I feel like
Starting point is 00:44:56 probably at probably 2010 is when I started chilling out. Yeah, anyways, uh, I don't get talk about your career um yeah so like is ryan new 25 does that make sense to you though kind of really well where is neighbor i feel like there's so many players i'm forgetting though like neighbor is he trash i feel like neighbors no i'm asking because i actually no i heard me my top 25 thank you at what spot um like 17 i bet well i don't even i think you want to be cool with them still look at you you were like no mason's definitely no i think i think i
Starting point is 00:45:33 had like neighbor, I think I had neighbor in hysteria, like a, hysteria. No, no way. I've heard it. Because he didn't have that same like, like, Titan factor. Like, that's what I'll call it. Like, where you're on main stage, you're sitting across from like neighbor, it's different than sitting across from hysteria. So I did them both. Like, I was like, damn, this guy's God, like, you know, just like being like, damn, that's neighbor. Maybe she's, maybe I'm just saying, like, maybe I'm just dick riding one more than the other, I guess. So to move, to move on from the halo, can we agree that halo is the most weird? anomaly-esque esport that's ever lived because there has never been any
Starting point is 00:46:08 esport in any fucking world or or or dimension where it's plagued and filled with brothers and twin brothers yeah there's hella twit sudd's bro the suddhs it's like hella god like twins you got the ogres roland suds uh royals think about right there fucking uh ace and his brother like think about that Yeah, dude. There's so many brothers. That's the one you forget about because they're so different. Elamite. Elemite. I feel like that is kind of crazy.
Starting point is 00:46:39 Yellow White Warrior. And then Roy and Lunchbox. Roy and Lunch were twins. And you would know they're twins too. You'd see them both. You can tell them apart, but that is kind of weird. And Ogre one and Ogre two look really fucking similar.
Starting point is 00:46:48 I feel like Hilo was the first game where friends would get together and like play in their garage. See, that's what I'm saying. And that's why like brothers and stuff would play. Yeah, hell yeah. Split screen Hilo won't you? I did that show with my brother. And you could play like there was stuff like two v two v two.
Starting point is 00:47:01 It's like you're not getting on cod and playing a 2 v2 in your friend's garage. It's like only if you're GBing, I guess, you know? But like back then there's a rank in HALO 2 that you're craving, dog. That shit was so addictive. That's actually funny. Like, yo, you're getting on it? You're about to get on that? Yeah, 100%.
Starting point is 00:47:16 So, like, 100%. We're, we're going to go. Yeah. They just wake up and they know their brother's on. One does, you just, you can just like smell like, you can smell, like, faintly. You know he's already showered and he's on the fucking toy. And you're like, God, damn, he's early. I'm going to hurry out.
Starting point is 00:47:31 Yeah. Yeah, I got to hurry. I was fucking probably losing full. All right, let's move on. Let me see here. New Warzone. Iron trial. Have you played,
Starting point is 00:47:42 war zone? What is that? What's Iron trials? Iron trials. Does anyone know? I don't know. No one here knows. But apparently it could be a precursor for rank play, whatever that means.
Starting point is 00:47:51 What? Like rank play for war zone, Matt? I've been seeing people saying it's better than me. People have been saying it's better than, I've been seeing my timeline. I forget you tweeted it. But they were like, it's better than buybacks. And buybacks was what I thought was the best word on thing. Bybox, we were for sure, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:03 That was how I think Wordson should have been from the first place. I agree. The Gulag, as cool as it was. Super cool, but it's so cool. I don't care when nobody's. Rebirth is sick, too. I love that shit. I only play rebirth with my friends from Chicago.
Starting point is 00:48:15 It just makes sense. Yeah. Like, you guys all go down and you out the game. Yeah, small map. Yeah, you get as many lives until, you know what I mean? I like that. I like that idea a lot where like you can just get a respawn unless your whole team gets wiped. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:27 That makes sense. It provides like the coolest games and the highest-kill games. and like, like, clutch-ass moments. You're like, nice. It's a small map. Exactly. Like, you're finessing a little house. I'd rather, I'd rather have that map with, I don't know, 60 players.
Starting point is 00:48:40 I don't know how many players. Than the normal one? Than the normal one. I agree. It's so big for no reason, though. It's so big. Why am I walking? Like, Hutch is driving again.
Starting point is 00:48:48 Oh, my man. Right? Like, flying into a side of a building. Like, I'll be finding myself in buildings today. Where I'm like, I don't know where the fuck I am. Yeah. Like, can I die in here? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:58 Like, and then just die by someone. I'm like, I don't know. spot, whatever. This is, you know, it's great, I wanted to talk about this specifically, Fortnite collaboration with Balenciaga, okay? Now, this is both an in-game and live-average. Well, you haven't seen it? No.
Starting point is 00:49:12 So Balenciaga, you're familiar. Fortnite, you're obviously familiar, but they did a, like a merch collab in real life, and obviously in-game, that's an easy one. But the, I don't know. I don't know how I feel about it. I don't know how I feel about it. The reason I don't know how I feel about it is because. That hoodie.
Starting point is 00:49:30 They definitely drop prices, though. You think? How much for a hoodie? A thousand? It was more. It just says four-nine out of it. It was right. It was like, that's it.
Starting point is 00:49:39 Maybe. Yeah. It was like 50. They thought they had something here. No, no, the thing is this. What's written on the back? Of that?
Starting point is 00:49:47 Like that. What is that? What does say? What does that say? What does that say? Because like that looks like a lot. Looks like it could make a break the hoodie. What is that saying?
Starting point is 00:49:54 Is that like a bunch of different? Is it like four nine in different languages or something? All right. Retail. Oh, no, I did not fuck with that at all. I don't fuck with that at all. Via the Reha-Holeco. I mean, I think that this is like-
Starting point is 00:50:05 It's spots on the map in different language, obviously. But like, why is like, you can't have like retail row at the top and me take that serious. I'm like, this is trolley, right? I thought it was going to be some cool shit. Package with all the type. I'm not, I'm not hating on it. I'm not mad at it. I just don't know if the way that it was done made sense in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:50:24 It seems that it has missed it. If they would have used art, like actual artwork, like in-game artwork. I don't know what the fucking sunglasses. What are those sunglasses? Not for me. I'm not hating on it. What did you came in all? Let me see the steppers?
Starting point is 00:50:36 Let me see those. Stepers. Go to the little bit. Woo-hoo. You see those steppers? Oh, shit. Do you like those?
Starting point is 00:50:41 Yeah, not me. Not me. It's like, it's like, what's a little backpack? I fuck with that little backpack down there. She's probably two grand. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:50 Yeah, that's just I was going to say. The one thing. One thing. One thing. I like, I fuck with the backpack. You like those right. You like those right.
Starting point is 00:50:57 That's a lot. Yeah. Dude, I don't know. Who's that? Again, there is potential, but it's literally Fortnite and Balenciaga on the hoodie. Yeah, that's not cool. You can't have, it looks like they didn't put any effort night on t-shirt or hoodie
Starting point is 00:51:09 and it's, it'd be cool. They had to be Fortnite subtly, like, and have it look cool, you know? You can't just be Fortnite. Okay, look. If they would have put her, if they would have put her on it, like at least just like a silhouette of her with like fucking Balenciaga. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:24 Like something. That would have been fine. And then a small print, like somewhere like a small hit that says Fortnite. Like cursive or some shit and you're like, this is kind of fire. Yeah, again, I'm not hating on it. What I love about what Fortnite does and has always done is that they literally aren't afraid of fucking anything. And if somebody comes through with like an idea that might work, they fucking do it. Yeah, those motherfuckers are slutty as fuck.
Starting point is 00:51:44 I wonder how much stock they had in that red shirt, that white hoodie. Yeah, probably too much. No, I think I think that big is print on demand. Like, do Fortnite's, four and, you own your own factory. It's print on demand 100%. I wish I was more into Fortnite because like think about how awesome those events were when you could be Thanos.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Yeah. Like when that shit was like pot, what I'm saying? Like the Marvel movies were like hitting at that time and like you could be Thanos. They don't miss. And look, I'm a fucking noob.
Starting point is 00:52:15 Call me whatever, okay, not a fan. Call me whatever. But I loved Fortnite until I just couldn't keep up with the building. Yeah, I think everyone has the same story. Besides like the small percent of crackheads.
Starting point is 00:52:24 I love it. First Gen Fortnite fire. It seems so fun. It came out to press. Yeah, yeah, low key, you might be right. You might be right. Yeah. Once you could practice building, I feel like kids are rematch it all day, dude.
Starting point is 00:52:34 Dude, at first of all that, I don't get a fuck about building. With a controller too, how people do it. It's like, I got shit mapped out. My left hand can't do that. No, no more. Props to fucking them because fuck me, man. Some of the trial runs that I've seen? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:50 Impossible. I'm like, how are people that fucking crime? No one is the most crack game of all time. Like, by far. Like, watching those motherfuckers go out of my, bro, this is like different types of. Because that's just like, I see that. I see impossible. Think about the ending of the games.
Starting point is 00:53:02 Like, you're watching 40 people in the same tower and the circles as big as your thumb. And they're all finessing, like, just trying to survive. And they're just going editing and like just making little little tunnels and shit. I'm like, bro, this is so cracked. Like building, then editing. They have a little pencil out. I'm like, what the fucking? I'm like, watching the first time.
Starting point is 00:53:20 I'm like, wait, you can edit? I was like, what's editing deal? I was like, that's useful? And they're like making little doorways and tunnels and sneaking through it. I'm like, this is a different game. Yeah, they're crack at it for sure. Yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:53:32 Again, I respect them for trying everything and anything that sounds cool because they've, they've hit homers, like, since they came out with the BR, they've hit nothing but homers. Yeah. Like, everything that they've ever done has been dope. The fucking concerts. The concerts are so sick. That's it so sick. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:49 I remember it might have been the first concert, like the marshmallow one in game. Everyone's like all their characters. are sitting there waiting at the spot where it's going to be at. And I'm there. And I'm like just jumping around, like, getting on top of the speakers and shit. And then the concert starts and my guy just starts floating to the fucking sky. And I like, yeah, my guy like glitched. And I'm just floating away.
Starting point is 00:54:12 And I can't watch the concert. I'm like, you're fucking kidding me. You hear the concert faintly from Nick's TV. Like it's actually down there. Wait, why? I don't know. My shit just glitched and launched me to the sky. Of course it happens to Nick.
Starting point is 00:54:23 Or it just kicks him out of the concert. What? I think maybe like, you should have started. to go viral. How was the concept? The clip was good, I thought the clip. It was a pretty good clip.
Starting point is 00:54:34 But yeah, that's life is near right there. That was hilarious. I think like when the concert started, it like kind of brings everyone into the air. But then like everyone starts going down and I'm just still going up. It's like still going to the sky. They went to the clouds,
Starting point is 00:54:49 couldn't see it. You see everyone down below like, yeah, yeah. Having a good time and you're just like, wait, I have to pull up a shirt. You're trying to build and shit?
Starting point is 00:54:58 I'm like, well, you can't build that. I like, I like the storyline aspect of it too. Like one day you're playing, you look up and like, wait, I've never seen that star before.
Starting point is 00:55:05 Imagine what didn't know about it. Like, I didn't know about the like the live events. Manly there's playing. They're just fucking farming. That crack has never been in the sky like that. Yeah. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:55:15 Bro, but think about that. That's never, ever happened. That's, that is an RPG game in a fucking live multiplayer. You know what I mean? That's never had.
Starting point is 00:55:25 Like, that is the most genius shit. And the fact that, look, if I'm any developer, I say, engineers. You had everyone talking about that shit remember two. Bro. Everyone's like, what do you think is going to come out? Like, everyone was talking about what the fuck they thought was going to happen.
Starting point is 00:55:38 When the burger statue disappeared in game but appeared in Arizona. Yeah. Bro, genius. They're really good. If I'm Call of Duty, if I'm Halo, if I'm any developer in the fucking world, I steal that idea. It's okay to steal that one. Yeah. Steal everything from Fortnite, bro, besides the building.
Starting point is 00:55:53 And you'll probably have a good game. Yeah. God. I mean, shit, man. And there were like, analysis. Like, yeah, we made $425 million this month. $425 million this month. And then it kept getting bigger and bigger to the point
Starting point is 00:56:05 that they got embarrassed and they didn't want to share it. Everyone knows about it. I can't tell you. I can't tell you. That much? That's like, it's not about the money. Don't ask me that. They start getting like fucking smart cars because they don't like material things don't matter.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Yeah, right? He's like, what do you drive? A rap for? He's like, I don't care about Ferrari. So I can buy 17. but I'm driving a rap more. I don't fucking care. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:27 What? You have a Ferrari? No, that's four. Do they, they have to have like the best developers and engineers or whatever, right? Wait, what? Like, Fortnite,
Starting point is 00:56:39 their engineers or whoever's, like, coding the game. I mean, that has to be insane, right? I think that came later. Once they realized their game was exploding, they just started hiring the best of the best. And they were like,
Starting point is 00:56:49 yeah, we'll come there. Because look at your fucking game. My grandma knows about Fortnite. Because Fortnite, for how much goes on, it's smooth, like, the ability. It's like super smooth. Think about the fact that they throw these concerts and shit where like who knows how flooded their servers get, but they run smoothly.
Starting point is 00:57:02 You know what I'm saying? Like if a card did like this type of event, I'm sitting there waiting to connect online services for an hour. And then just getting off once it doesn't work. Your 3080 graphics card just explodes. Like I'll tip that, bro. They're prepared for anything. They have to be, right? Like who, I wonder what number they go into their meeting and they're like, listen, we got to make sure to do this number.
Starting point is 00:57:20 Yeah. What number is that? They're like 50 million? They're like, yeah. Because of 50 million. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:27 I don't talk to them. The most typical fucking developer, in my opinion, in all the video games. Yeah, they exploded, dog. And imagine, like, if they, like, as they get better and better, one time, it's going to be Halloween and the scariest shit fucking happens in game that you don't even know. Yeah. You know what I mean? Just like, I don't know where zombies are there or like the devils there.
Starting point is 00:57:47 Like Jason's chasing you or some shit. Yeah, that's hard. Yeah, they do do crazy shit. That would be funny in, like, you know, how on Fortnite they have, like, they'll put random zombies on the map. Imagine they just have like mini. Yeah. Like on Halloween.
Starting point is 00:58:00 They'll be like random zombies you can kill and like I think get loot. Imagine they just have little jasons. Yeah. Like even even just the dances like I would buy every fucking dance in the shop because every fucking dance was so goddamn catchy and looks so like vibey and like they nailed the dances. What I liked about the dancing is that it made kids not like literally come out of their shows and dance.
Starting point is 00:58:23 Yeah. In my generation, you didn't dance unless you knew how to dance. And you didn't know if you knew how to dance. You know what I'm saying? It was like, that shit. I feel like that game was good for like anyone of any age, no gap. Before the building, because like obviously anyone about 20 is not playing after that shit. What was the other one?
Starting point is 00:58:42 There were so many good dances and so many good skins. Football players were doing the fuck. I'm sitting there buying everything in my shop every day. Like you guys did it fucking night. Like ninjas playing with drinks. Drake and Drake's just Yeah dude
Starting point is 00:58:55 You just see Drake Yeah You just laughing And that's fucking Travis Scott Like those people That's shit sick bro Yeah I wish I was more into Fortnite
Starting point is 00:59:06 So I could have like Seen those concerts And been like super immersed in it I was in so But I think that I stopped playing Right as the cool shit started to happen And I was still appreciative Of it obviously
Starting point is 00:59:16 Have they had any world championships Since that Buga guy won? Really? They just had one Because COVID happened So he's just He can walk around like, I mean, like, we saw what happened on land. Like, he's just saying that shit for like, he's like, these guys are so fucking bad on land.
Starting point is 00:59:29 Yeah. Oh, my. He's probably, he's really, that kid's probably so toxic. He only has a camera of his hand on his mouse, like that type of stream. Yeah. We're like, this guy's toxic as fuck. Like, he just, here's geek. How much shitty one?
Starting point is 00:59:41 Three mill, a lot. Walked away with like 1.5. Some shit. Nah, about family? His org took a shit ton too. Oh, yeah. He was some shitty ass org. Yeah, nah.
Starting point is 00:59:49 It's sentinels. He's still with sentinels. Is that how sentinel? Oh, my bad. no send those they're pretty good org um i honestly didn't know yeah honestly didn't know but um is that how they been paying their players like they with his winning to this whole time
Starting point is 01:00:05 like sentles me too no disrespect I'm gonna resist the joke uh stream elements receives a hundred million dollar investment good for them uh you know you can't explain it Tim the tat name is the way you said that you're just like
Starting point is 01:00:18 I don't give a fuck no i do I do uh what's they i don't understand why Tim the time went to complexity dude I that kind of shocked me too the Dallas yeah he loves the cowboys have you talked to Tim at all
Starting point is 01:00:30 that makes sense no not really I mean not I mean we're gonna really talk like that anyway but not look whatever whatever whatever whatever gets them more is like good good on like if complex if complexity offer him the super bag and he gets to work with
Starting point is 01:00:46 his favorite fucking team in the world he also no brain it must be it's gonna be a dub for like Everything about Dallas, like, Cowboys. Think about this, too. He just signed YouTube, just on complexity. That motherfucker is loving life right now. Yeah, he's loving life right now.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Yeah, he's looking at Lambos on stream and shit. Yeah, he's like, I might get one, but I don't know. It's like, uh, but if I'm going to get it, like, I'm going to get like the full package. I just don't understand. It's only like another 200 grand. Is someone that big? Is that smart for them to sign with like someplace? Like, is that smart, you think?
Starting point is 01:01:16 Because he's massive. Massive. Yeah, look. Dude, you, I don't know. he he I can't speak from but he gets to work and I don't think that he needs to join complexity to still work with the cowboys
Starting point is 01:01:27 but keep it all the family that direct yeah yeah I don't know like he just wanted to feel part of a team who the fuck knows that too yeah that too so congrats to him congrats to complexity that's who us dude and then we have a couple of questions but you know they're not that good
Starting point is 01:01:42 so we're not even gonna go what is on all levels except physical what is your spirit animal says Eric Galindo dude I want to be like a line but I feel like I'm more like a sea otter or some like fucking little pussy shit Except physical
Starting point is 01:01:55 Except for a little Then I'm Wait what? Or on all levels except physical Because I'd be like Yeah I'm a lion But then people would look at me You're like
Starting point is 01:02:05 You lie No one that we know is a lion Maybe I'm a bad boy No one's a lion A bad boom Hello Yeah Yeah
Starting point is 01:02:13 Yeah Yeah he's brother Maybe he should not be a lion No cap Bro he should not be ducking like that Dude that That motherfucker's a lion Brol listen
Starting point is 01:02:20 Did you see You know how I mean you see no right he's like a big yeah he's not like a he's like a solid fucking Yeah, it's like a fucking star linebacker. I saw him fucking dunk I couldn't believe I can he's right Tomahawk look like like a monster oh like space jam no yeah yeah yeah bro still to this I've still to this day and I've I've played ball all my life and I've seen gyms and I've seen dude start bro I could not believe it you had a savage ass tongue like motherfucker like how are you have no business yeah he's like a solid tank Like you're like a superhuman.
Starting point is 01:02:52 That's what you probably thought. You're like, God damn, you're a fucking tank. That guy's super cool. Super, super cool. Anyway, one announcement before we go, sometime this month, the month of September, we're going to be releasing the mechanic drop for optics. So I don't know, keep an eye out. That's where all of the super exclusives, what are these called?
Starting point is 01:03:14 Air fresheners are going to be? Obviously limited editions because you know how I feel about collectibles. But we have Minty Mayhem, which is the green one. there is only a few. There's less of these than there are of the Semtec cinnamon red ones of the optic van. And obviously- What are those, bro? Huh?
Starting point is 01:03:29 What are these? What are these? What are these? What are these? Yeah, you have. They've been there the whole time. And just back here? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:35 I don't go digging back there. Yeah, right. They smell good? Yeah, of course these. Don't open it up, blah, blah, blah. Don't know it. It smells like you right now. They're collectibles.
Starting point is 01:03:45 You smell good. Well, I had those on my crotch. Yeah, and that's what I'm saying. They were warm. That's what I'm saying. I like accidentally put it on my lip too and I was like, Oh, come on. Anyway, so obviously super some of these,
Starting point is 01:03:58 this is the only one that you need to fucking try to go for, the green one because there's only like 1,500 of these as opposed to like 2,500 of the red one. So there's something for everyone. And then obviously the mechanic shirt, a couple of shirts, couple of hats is going to be dope. I haven't seen that shirt. I was actually going to wear my mechanic shirt.
Starting point is 01:04:14 What's that? Wait, is there something on the back? Yeah. It's like a button up. It's the optic coffee coat. sometime later on. What the fuck? Like, you know, we have coffee. You've seen the coffee. Nah. You've seen the optic coffee.
Starting point is 01:04:26 My brain's mush, bro. All I'm thinking about now even while talking to you is Valoran. So, like, I don't know what coffee you're talking about. There's going to be a random drop of coffee. Let's go. I don't know. But yeah, guys, that's going to do it for the podcast. We'll see you next. Yeah, all right. See you later. Okay, I'm good to go.
Starting point is 01:04:40 Goodbye. Bye.
