Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to episode number 144 of the Optic podcast. You may be asking whether there's only four people up here. It's because we have the big three. The last three brain cells. The last one's. Shotsie has the puke sees and he didn't show up. I want to know. What's the last time that you got sick where you were throwing up?
Starting point is 00:00:21 When I'm sick, I do everything in my power to not puke. It's like the one thing I hate doing because it's like it's a filthy act. You're on your knees on the toilet. You feel like you're on. Wait, do you go on your knees to puke? What do you have to levitate? No, I'm not saying, but you don't. You don't hunch over?
Starting point is 00:00:36 Oh, no, I go. Just think about the gravitational pool. I pull the rug. I have a rug under my knees and I'm fucking. You feel like the world is ending. You grab the bull? Oh, yeah. It's a whole operation.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Dude, I don't think I've ever touched the toilet. Do you, how do you puke? Well, it depends on what, if I'm, like, hammered and I'm in shape, I'm holding on for to do a lot. I'm pushing. I think the last time I puked was when I was, like, drinking, like, back home. It was like four or five years ago, and it was just, it was on my boy's front lawn. So, like, that was.
Starting point is 00:01:04 That's all I remember. But I wasn't like, where am I going to kneel right there? I just let it just pull the tree. Okay, one last time I puig had to have been when I either over eight or. You had to be a lot. When I was drunk. I've never once puke. I've been, I'm,
Starting point is 00:01:20 listen, I'm not recommending that this is what you do, right? Oh, Nick. Save it. Save it. Save it. Save it. Save it. Save it.
Starting point is 00:01:29 Save it. Save it. Save it. Yeah. Shotsy sick. Say this Do I have a coffee? We just get kicked out
Starting point is 00:01:38 Seth Seth, Seth, Seth Seth No, we're gonna know No, they get too much of him Let's get Nick on here Yeah, yeah, let's get Come say hello, man
Starting point is 00:01:51 Hey, do you need a ride home In like an hour? Okay I mean sheesh What's up, what it you? You know, you've seen the boy on the sticks? Yeah, man, that boy kind of cold
Starting point is 00:02:04 I was actually, me and dinner on the couch, but like for the first 30 minutes, I was specking. I was peeping. I'll take it. I'm like 60 Hertz beat. I'll take it if you're milk and sugar in it. This shit's like crap. You put milk and splendid and I'll take it.
Starting point is 00:02:16 No, we'd not take good. It would not taste good. If you put milk and splendid in this, it would not taste good. He's not going. Well, what was the last time you puked? Oh, to Seattle? Oh, he's not coming to Seattle anymore? He's not coming to Seattle anymore?
Starting point is 00:02:31 No. I know his plan. I see right through him. He wants to stream the phone. He wants to stream the phone. fucking beta. That piece of shit. Instead of the game? No, instead of going to Halo.
Starting point is 00:02:42 That's such a good... I know. I'm kidding. I remember it. Yes. And so. Page is going in on us. Go in on on page. You think it's your kid. Yeah, that's what it was planning. We were hundreds of thousands of people. He got sick. Like, he literally got off stream and raided me. Thank the fucking Lord.
Starting point is 00:03:00 And you're tweeting him like this? He raided you and you're throwing him under the bus? I've been a raid merchant. People are texting me. Holy viewership. I'm like, yeah. My mom's like, holy shit, 20K. I said, yep. Seth posted. She's like, oh. Huge, huge happy birthday to MoneyBiscuit.
Starting point is 00:03:17 We just got mega interrupted for like five minutes. Bombarded. Bombarded. Seth got here. Nick, Nick's going to join us, hopefully. Is Seth warming up on CS? What? Is Seth forming up on CS?
Starting point is 00:03:30 Dude, he's so weird. He's so weird. Wait, you guys have a video later? CS2 video. They're going to get shit on. Wait, who's playing against who? I don't know. They better play.
Starting point is 00:03:39 I think we're queuing together, but I've never played a keyboard mouse shooter game my entire life. Actually, I played one game of CS and I deleted it from my PC. I was raging. I've never played it. It was like seven years ago. I never played it. I downloaded it because I was watching CS and I was like, this game looks fucking fire. Like, I need to get in and then I just got slammed.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Hopefully I get to use my account because my inventory is worth like. How much do you think it's worth right now? Like actually, no lie, it's probably worth like $7,500? You have a $75 on an NFT inventory? Just worth of knives alone, it's like, fuck. My op is like $1,000. Damn. My rifles, like, a couple hundred.
Starting point is 00:04:13 My other rifles, like... Mm-hmm. I mean, like, guys, guys. Do you use them? And what happens? Like, when you get killed and you drop it, somebody else picks it up? Not my knives.
Starting point is 00:04:22 The knives always stay with me. Yeah, you don't lose them. Yeah. But offskin, they could pick it up if I die. But they pick it up and then they lose it the next round. Yeah, yeah. It gets reset. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:29 If I buy... It's not like Tarkoff for, like, if you drop your shit. Oh, my God. Because people wouldn't use them ever. I think that's... I think if they added some shit like that to Cod, oh my God. Like, imagine if somebody in, and Cod had like a $50,000 sniper skin,
Starting point is 00:04:43 and they were the only ones that used it. And then at events, you'd spectate him. And then you know that guy as, like, the dude that owns that skin. You know what I mean? Or some shit? Yeah, no. And then it's, like, rare. That's one thing Cold Duty really has to dial in on is, like, skins.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Like, there are so many opportunities or there are endless, like, opportunities for Cod to have, like, crazy skins, interactive camos, like, whatever it may be. Like, we've had crazy camels before. We've had good camos, but nothing. But it's like, we need, like. We need to go, like, I'm like, like, I'm like, like, see. levels. We need to fucking just hit the pinnacle. I want to be up there. I want to own a crazy-ass.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Ladies and gentlemen, it'll be very, very tough for that to be a thing. There's just too many, too many, too many departments there that all, it's, it's a, when, when, the way that I understand it, it might be wrong, when we put out a skin, that means that they can't put out a skin. Right? So like, think of shelf space, right? Like, you have these, these super cold. Mountain Dew refreshing bottles This one's warm
Starting point is 00:05:41 And they can only sell three That's just for example It's only three Obviously there's way more Because there's a program around it Right If we put a skin in there Now they can't make money on this one
Starting point is 00:05:51 You know what I'm saying There's limited shelf space So it makes it a little bit difficult For it So basically you're saying If they add like Team Stores Like a Dragon lore
Starting point is 00:06:01 They should add team stores That's what I think That should happen I think that if that picture machinima back in 2009, 2010. You guys may have been like in diapers still. I know machina. Remember machina.
Starting point is 00:06:14 But machinima, what essentially it was, it was a network of creators that they had the ability to sell up, sell against. And also those creators could upload to the main channel, right? I think that if I'm Activision and I want to sell, you know, if they're selling, call it 100 skins a year, and if you tell them, yeah, you have the ability
Starting point is 00:06:36 to sell 600 skins a year would you do that? Yeah, all right, well then sub-stores from there, right? You know how you can go and download your, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:06:47 the cartel skins and all that shit? You've seen those, right? Yeah. If you go there, you can download a skin, you can download a weapon, you can do that.
Starting point is 00:06:54 I think that if they gave teams a permanent store in which we get to the site how much of it we upload whenever possible and they get obviously their fucking massive cut of that. I think that that could,
Starting point is 00:07:03 that could, That could work. Yeah, because at that point, like, we're incentivized to sell as many as we can. They're incentivized to continue to give that to us if they have the amount of shelf space that they do. But it's a lot more difficult, right? I just don't know a lot, but like, I think there are so many things. Like something like that could severely help, like CDL teams. Massively.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Well. The positive. Yeah, severely. Help. Severely help. Massively help. Isn't that an oxymoron severe means? No.
Starting point is 00:07:31 He means like drastic. No. Drastic. That's what you mean. Dastically help. Yeah. Wait, to severely help not make sense? Well, severe is like...
Starting point is 00:07:36 Yeah, but that's still like severely help. What was the definition of severe? Severely drastic. No, Severely helps make sense, I'm pretty sure. Severely help? But, I mean... Severely sounds so desperate. Maybe it's not the best word usage, but I think it makes sense.
Starting point is 00:07:47 It gets the point across. It's so desperate though. Like, something like that, it's like, they're making their money. CDL teams make more money. That way, there's less complaining from like the CDL because it's like, okay, now we have a more, a bigger revenue source. Of something bad or undesirable, very great, intense. Very great intense.
Starting point is 00:08:03 A severe. A severe. shortage of technicians. All right. Well, listen, you know what I was saying. Yeah, no, no, I do. That's why I corrected you. It's all good. But yeah. Listen, maybe, maybe one day. Because I do think the call of duty world in general, like we have such a... Insane.
Starting point is 00:08:16 We have... Caught his life. And may I also say an agree or... This is agree or disagree from pro players? How good... Is this not a fucking excellent movement game? I'm not talking about fucking spawns. I'm not talking about, like...
Starting point is 00:08:29 It feels very good. Just the core of the mechanics? I have been playing it by myself. with no one else in my ear. Just me solo queuing playing by myself. I'm not playing with Hodge, I'm playing with Diesel.
Starting point is 00:08:40 I'm playing with anyone. And I've been having a blast. It feels very good. It feels like MW2, 2.0. MW2, the game felt good. Like the gunplay MW2 felt good.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I like it, yeah. Obviously the red dots and dead style and stuff was like the biggest crate, but this is like MW2 on steroids where it's like, if they were to like the slide.
Starting point is 00:08:59 The slide feels good. It feels fluid. And this is also a beta too. So you got to assume, on PS5. Some positive tweaks, and we've only played PS5. Unnotable for us,
Starting point is 00:09:08 coming folk. We played a Kodnex, but the game feels great. Was there a difference in the weight of felt from PC to PS? That's a Zen question for sure. I mean, we were on 60 hertz here.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Not really. Honestly, I was kind of shocked with how good PS5 felt. I was playing 120 hertz at home, but... So it played better at the reveal than it did here? No.
Starting point is 00:09:30 No. So the PlayStation beta was the past few, days when we were here. Yeah. So at the event we were playing on PC, that's what I'm saying. I mean, it feels pretty comparable. I mean, I can't really, I don't really feel like any differences. Obviously the Hertz difference. We were playing with, I believe, 160 hertz at the event, whereas when we're at home, we'll play on like 240 or 360, depending on what you're playing on. 360, yeah. But the game feels good. The game looks good. I wish for the beta, I wish there were at least
Starting point is 00:09:57 a couple more maps because I feel like in like other betas, it's like you kind of want to keep the maps in your locker. Like, you don't want to show off all your maps because they're new and they're exciting. Whereas, whereas now, we've already seen these maps before. So the beta, the only reason the beta got kind of stale is because it's like a state, Skid Row and, uh, they added Rustley, Estate, Skid Row and Favela over and over again, which are like, nostalgic, fun maps. Wait, they could use better maps for the beta. Definitely not cream with the crop. Obviously, you're not going to put your best shit. But, listen, I, I, for one. We can't get Estated in Skid Row and The favela is the best one?
Starting point is 00:10:33 Skid Row was the best map in the beta by far. But that's, well, Russ, too, Russ, depending on... If Skidro is the best map in the beta, then it's... Skid Row is underrated map. I don't think it's that crazy. I'm gonna... I'm gonna tell you my thoughts, okay?
Starting point is 00:10:44 When I started playing it, within the first hour, I was so annoyed that I'm playing Favela and Skid Row and... Estate. I was so annoyed. And then after that first hour, like, something transported me back to the good old days, and I just started having fucking mega fun.
Starting point is 00:11:00 And obviously, like, getting used to the... The weapon was also, I don't even know what kind I use. It's like the default weapon with like a red, the blue reticle. The blue reticle is clean, right? Yeah. No, the red dots are fire. It reminds me the Vanguard automaton. Like the ACR feels just like the automaton.
Starting point is 00:11:16 If you change the gun sounds, you wouldn't even know. If you change the way it sounds, you would actually think it's like the other weapon. I love that. I think about playing it, I go to this morning before I left to the hex quarters. I'm like, man, I don't have to leave for another hour. I could get a couple of games in and be like, I, I haven't felt like that. I didn't feel about that on the last game.
Starting point is 00:11:34 I didn't feel about that the game before that. So I, for one, love the movement in this one, love the shooting. I love that the maps are, you know, decent. I don't know. Favela is a good, it's good, but it's not one of the outstanding maps from before that I would have. Invasion, high-rise terminal. Scrapiard. Ferellia was annoying, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Strike. Bring strike. Strike. Come on. Strike should be a main staple. Toujean. I haven't played it. Did you guys play Tujain?
Starting point is 00:11:58 What is that? Tujain is a call duty two map. We didn't play that shit, man. No, no, no, no, no. It's because the new, it got remade into something else. Yeah, it got rumors. I think somebody said it. Oh, for the new game?
Starting point is 00:12:11 Yeah, right, Matt? Too Jane got remade, yeah. Well, so they're dropping the 16 MW2 maps, and then each season, they're going to drop more original maps. So I'm really hoping those are good because my only worry is competitively, like, how hard point's going to work. I think search is going to be fine. I'm assuming. I hope it's CTF, too, but my. Assumption is going to be controlled because that's all we've been playing the past few years.
Starting point is 00:12:34 I pray to fuck we get CTF. Because CTF on MW2 was fire. Yeah, at least for COPS. And back then we played demolition too, I don't think we're going to be playing. If you guys would have played CTF in Call of Duty 2. Was that original? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Oh, you were crawling in trenches and shit. Yeah, bro, no, because the thing is there's no tracking it. You would have to find, like, nerdy-ass, like, fucking hiding spots. And no, and it's like, there was no way to game it. You ran at the same speed. If you and I started at the same time, there was no way for you to catch me. The only thing that was changed is like if you pull your weapon, you like walked, sped walked instead of walked. There was no running.
Starting point is 00:13:09 Yeah. But like it's always been my favorite, like CTF has always been one of my favorites from way back then. I used to play more CTF and headquarters than I did Search and Destroy. And Searching the Store, obviously, has taken over that thing. But there's so many maps that I would have used instead of, I'm glad the favelas there. I'm happy that they did this. I don't want to complain too much about it because it's not how I feel about the maps. But yeah, I personally think it's like one of the most exciting things that has happened to us.
Starting point is 00:13:40 And I will say you guys know how critical I am of the not necessarily the game, but, you know, like I'm very critical as to what we do in Call of Duty because I love Call of Duty, right? It's changed my life. It's been my thing for a very long time. Been here since 2005. Have you? No. So, you know, I love that shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:58 And I am very critical of it, but I got to give it props when props are due. Well, I also trust Sledgehammer a lot. Like out of the three, Traiarch, trustworthy. Von dera Hart's Treyer? I think Infinity Award is fucking last. It's, yeah, no. I mean, Infinity War would it come. Infinity Award, dude, to play devil's advocate, because, like, you have to look at it,
Starting point is 00:14:19 like, we have a very unique perspective because we're call of duty competitive-based. Yeah. Infinity Award, they go to their investors and they're like, we have the best-selling game of all time in the Call of Duty franchise and they're all happy. For the casual? So they're thinking like, why the fuck would we change all this stuff
Starting point is 00:14:33 when we have the most, the best selling product to the casual market? That's really all they care about. Because at the end of the day, they're printing. But Sledgehammer and Triarch, they've always, I think,
Starting point is 00:14:42 went the extra mile for a competitive. Like, for example, the battle rage problem. Battle Raiders OPEC, they fixed it. They fixed it within 24 hours. They announced that rank plays and becoming like in the middle of season one, which I feel like is kind of early compared to what we've been getting recently.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Usually they release it in like back March. Yeah, they released it pretty deep into the end of the game. So I do think they have competitive in mind. Granted, is it the number one priority? Obviously not. But I do trust Sledge because I think AW was a good competitive game. I think World War II was a great competitive game.
Starting point is 00:15:12 It was boring. As a player is great. It was good for competition. That's it. You know, to watch it, it just looked dull. If those maps are brighter, if those maps have more to them, it would have been a lot more exciting. That's what I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:15:24 But as a competitor, like, strictly speaking from the player's staff, the game was fundamentally amazing and like it was a good competitive game and then um rank play was good in that game as well rank play was good in war war two never played at once yeah rank play was good more two so i trust sledge and then cod next was fun too so obviously we went to cod next i'm not sure this is our first podcast since cod next right for you yeah yeah no no so uh oh you guys already did one when we got back i think so yeah oh okay never mind right but um no no matt What was Codnex? In the last week?
Starting point is 00:15:57 Oh, yeah, no, we got back Friday. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, no. Codnex was good. It was me, me, Seth, Shotsy. Let me guess, Matt, you want to make the title, things you didn't know about Codnex revealed. Yeah. Me, Seth, Shotsie, and TST went, and that was good.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Warzone, I think, going in the right direction. Warzone, I think this past iteration of Warzone, this past year was miserable, if I'm being honest, just to watch. I played it a tiny bit. Compared to, like, Verdanskin, like, the golden era of Orzone, it just wasn't comparable. This feels like a step in the right direction.
Starting point is 00:16:27 This feels like, I guess, the current war zone, but like times two. Like, I feel like movement's a lot better. They added some good updates, you know, just movement-based that I feel like you need more zone. So I think war zones are going to the right direction. Condex was dope, though. I mean, 250 creators from around the world in one room. Like, if you actually think of that logistically, like putting on that show, it was crazy.
Starting point is 00:16:52 And they always give us fucking great care packages. They gave us a watch. some cool memorabilia. Now you're talking shit, right? Like you're doing this on purpose? No, why? Why? Because you didn't come? No, because I didn't, yeah, that. And, well, I want to understand why I didn't get invited.
Starting point is 00:17:06 I haven't played Call of Duty on stream or made videos on Call of Duty in over a decade on YouTube and then I don't stream that often. Like, me touching Call of Duty for the first time when we did was literally at least seven months since I last touched Call of Duty or a controller. Like, I have not played it. So you can understand my annoying. when I was getting shit on by fucking shitters, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:17:28 But once I picked it up, I was, it's crazy to see the levels of the game, though. I mean, I'm watching the biggest creators in the world walk up to set asking for a pick. I'm like, yeah, that is pretty crazy. That's right. There's levels to the CDL game. And I'm understanding of it.
Starting point is 00:17:42 CDL game. This is my best friend. They're asking Zind, like, can you take the pick real pick? I did take a picture. You did? I do that all the time. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:17:52 But it's funny. I don't care. But it's funny. I don't give a fuck. No, no, it was a. Why didn't you know? Actually, you were invited, you weird fuck used to do. I was invited, but
Starting point is 00:18:00 You gotta be a certain level of cool. Guys, guys, to be, listen, to be radiant in Valorant and also like one of the best CS score players in the world, like, or CS2 players in the world, it's, you gotta like sacrifice something. It's time consuming. Yeah. So obviously the counter or counter strike, Sloke you've been, you know, taking up the time.
Starting point is 00:18:16 So you've been making some sacrifices, not going to the, to, not going to cut next. Because I'm aware that once the season starts, you can have to give it. up you know what I mean so like I'm just making sure that my off season's my off season I love that you're still doing content which I appreciate because my man Pratt like I'm gonna have to have like this guy's fucking traveling the world he thinks he's going to Prague London he's fucking he's like I'm heading to Australia boys that's like yeah listen I'm gonna sit up I mean like hey listen
Starting point is 00:18:43 you're your your your your hefty contract right is it's only a hefty contract because of the content that you're gonna do for us well definitely when you could have had me like fucking weird when I could have had you for what you're retired I'm undefeated against him you know that yeah too
Starting point is 00:18:59 Fred like like Tege love saying that too but like No we actually are me and Teage why did you guys play them when did you guys play him
Starting point is 00:19:07 when did you guys play him a bunch of events I'm like five and I'm getting to the CDL and Tege is like six or seven and now Tej is we're both as Cryptonite that's why if you ever like no
Starting point is 00:19:15 if you ever piss me off like don't worry like I'm like it's not one of those like had like matchups that like I'm gonna be like oh my God we can never play like Teage or...
Starting point is 00:19:25 Yeah, you don't got to worry about... Like you're... I'm on the couch. Hey, that's the best job in the world if you ask me. No stresses of performing. No stresses of... I feel like...
Starting point is 00:19:35 Watch parties is the best. Of leagues. It's the best, but... Dude, I mean, I can't like... Playing this game, like, you can just tell... Because obviously we're still gonna be playing it. We're gonna play AIDS, tournaments, wages. Like, I'm still gonna be playing it
Starting point is 00:19:45 like I'm competing. Otherwise, because that's what I like to stream and I like to compete still. I sound like... Just because I retired doesn't mean I didn't... You're not like playing. Just because it doesn't mean I'm not involved.
Starting point is 00:19:54 I don't know what you're going to do. Everybody that you play against, let's say you play against Teague or let's say you're playing against whoever's in the league right now, when you beat them, you're going to be like, oh, your manager just called me, said, if I want to replace you or something. Well, no, I mean, I do want to play challengers, too. Like, I want to play as much as I can,
Starting point is 00:20:09 as long as it doesn't interfere with the watch party. So if there's a cup, we can't play. But can I give you an idea? Right? Let's say challengers matches, right? Like, how often are they during the watch parties? It depends. In the beginning, I can get away with it,
Starting point is 00:20:22 but once the season developed, There's like no way to really do it. No, really? No way. Why? Because the thing about this is me, Bose, you, Seth, most of the time is just you three. But when it's time for you, Seth, and Mark to go play,
Starting point is 00:20:36 I can step in with two other people and then commentate y'all shits. Like, it is doable. And then as soon as you guys are off, you guys back on it, you give your own fucking, like it can be done. And it will be sick, crowd? No, like the video if you agree. I agree. Getting Seth on board.
Starting point is 00:20:51 He's right there. For something like that. For challengers? The problem with Seth is that you guys ask him instead of tell him. That thing playing John. No, the problem is, and to his defense, I will, I... He's got to be, like, messy playing in the MLS. Well, no, yes.
Starting point is 00:21:03 It's not worth it for Seth the fire. He has a different legacy to where, like, it's not worth it. It would piss him off if he, like, because if we're playing top challengers and we lose, he does have a lot of fucking morons who are like, oh my God, you lose into challengers. Yeah. Thank God you retired. That would piss me off. I guess that would be kind of annoying.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Yeah. But I tell him, I'm like, dude, what the fuck do you have? have to prove. Like, anybody with a brain knows what's going on. I don't know. As much as I would, as much as I sit here and say that,
Starting point is 00:21:29 that'd be cool, I don't think, if I was saying, I wouldn't do it personally. Yeah, but I do want to, me, me and Bose will be playing a lot.
Starting point is 00:21:36 He says he's interested in doing it. I mean, we'll still be playing tournaments. I mean, we're going to be competing. But what sucks is like, if this game is really good and we're loving it,
Starting point is 00:21:44 like, I think this would be the first time. Because I'm W2, it's like, I enjoyed it, but like, I didn't like, I wasn't like, oh my god I need to go compete
Starting point is 00:21:51 and this game is really good I'm gonna be like fuck yeah I even saw like octon tweet that he's like damn like my man's just kind of like pissed that he retired I'm kind of glad he did that team broke up we gotta worry about them which one which was Octane oh yeah
Starting point is 00:22:04 motherfucker fuck is always viewed this shit yeah no I'm uh I I personally think we're in for a good season look if the gameplay and the fine tuning if they just take a little bit more time on the fine tuning of the competitive aspect of this thing I think that we are in for a fucking sick as year The snipers fucking work
Starting point is 00:22:20 I haven't used it at all Because it's just not my thing But have you used it You haven't played it at all You know what I heard You're crazy Snipers are crazy I played yesterday actually for only 30 minutes
Starting point is 00:22:31 So that's the first time you played it He was shooting no Of course I'm shooting It's like surprise Like he was shooting It's like when I was making Those free throws And there was like
Starting point is 00:22:40 Oh my God Guys guys everyone calm down Like this is literally the routine Oh fuck Apparently there's a sniper Apparently there's a sniper that if you buy the $100 edition before the game drops, like to pre-order it, you get like this AK sniper. Oh my one shot semi-automatic.
Starting point is 00:22:56 I can't use that pay-to-win sniper was insane. And then the pay-to-win. And they made it obviously, wait, they're actually smart for this. They made it absolutely overpowered, but like you have to like pre-order the more expensive edition of the game. Striping's back. Sniping is like, sniping's really good. Sniping is quick.
Starting point is 00:23:11 Can somebody send me a text? I want to send an email about this pay-to-win sniper. It's a pay-to-win game. Yeah. They're taking a page out of Ballarine's book. Good. Listen, the thing is, I'm happy that that exists, right? If I don't have disposable time, but I do have a little bit disposable income to buy all the weapons.
Starting point is 00:23:28 I agree. And I should get that. 100%. It's a clash of clans. You can get, you know what I mean? You could buy the gems. Why I spend the time when you can just buy the hands? Craig loved that one.
Starting point is 00:23:35 He's like, yep. That resonated with him. What was I going to say? A lot of times. This is not for me. The nitro coal brew shit? Yeah, no, it's very. It's just pure.
Starting point is 00:23:46 It's an acquired taste. It's pure. It's just caffeine. It's for performance. It's a straight performance drink. It's five calories and caffeine. That's why I drink it. Five calories?
Starting point is 00:23:54 I have the fat gene, man. I'll blow up like a balloon. We talked about this yesterday. Because we have, we may have had, honestly, if they know what's good for him, that one hour should be uploaded to the main channel. Yeah. Honestly, yeah, it was good. It just me and him just spewing the bullshit. We're just talking about the fattasses back in the day.
Starting point is 00:24:12 What? Talk about how we. Were you big? I was pretty chubby. I was like 2.10 not my biggest. But the thing is. Oh, my God. But like, I'm 210 right now.
Starting point is 00:24:20 He wasn't as noticeably like I was. Like, you know, look, that kid can eat. I actually might be 207 right now. Talked about how delusional I was. I was getting away with it, though. Oh, I thought I looked good and shit. I would love going to a steakhouse and just destroying all the bread. Don't talk about steakhouse.
Starting point is 00:24:32 Just the bread. I love bread. I don't have anything against steakhouses. I just would rather go to a creative restaurant instead. No, no, like, yeah. That's fair. Like, what are we doing for, like, let's do you, have you already started to map out? Seattle's.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Seattle? Seattle, we already know. It's a steakhouse, but it's not a steakhouse like that. It's like sushi, steak. Okay. It's like, it's more of an experience than what we've had before. The only reason I say is because like you can make an excellent restaurant steak, steak, steak-house restaurant level steak at the crib. Just with a couple of rubs and a good timer. I feel like what makes a good restaurant is the sides.
Starting point is 00:25:08 Yes. Yeah, no. For a hundred away. The abs of dessert. I'm fucking huge, man. Damn. God, Maddie. Dang.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Seattle's going to be dope. You drink black. coffee? Is this black? No. What color does that look? I said the same as Hector. I thought I was going to... She put milk in mind. No, that's Nitro Colbu. That's just straight crack. Straight performance.
Starting point is 00:25:29 It's that straight performance. I'm here for year. That's what it's called. I might grow up to like this shit. Seattle's going to be fun. I love Seattle. I love Seattle. I can't wait too. I love the halo scene. I'm excited for, you know, to see all the people behind stage. I'm excited to see my man Tashi.
Starting point is 00:25:45 I'm just psyched, man. I'm a little bit nervous for the boys. You know, for him, obviously, I have the closest relationship with him. Defending World Champion. The Defending World Champions. Defending champions currently. Has Matt been at the studio? He was here yesterday.
Starting point is 00:26:02 He was here. He was here. For the very first time I've ever seen him here, I walked past the room. They're strictly business. Yeah, yeah, strictly business. They won't even look at you. Dude, Matt just looked at me. They're in the Cold Duty room boot camp.
Starting point is 00:26:11 Matt looked at me, shook to his head with like a chuckle and said, and that's all I needed to see. Oh. That was like, damn. I'm like, he's like, and then him and the boys. I'm like, then like they were just warming up and shit. But I saw, I saw the cut to his documentary. He has a documentary? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:26 That's like, Hila's doing a, I don't know. Yeah, it's, this public right, Matt? They do this for like several players. So they're doing one on him. Yeah. Oh, that's sick. It's really good. Well, I was in it.
Starting point is 00:26:37 So of course it's good. But yeah, no, it's going to be. It's going to be excited. Look, the motherfucker's a killer, man. Like, I know, I know people are nervous just because he's going to be. No, people don't want to play formal, I'm telling you. That's one thing that I've realized across any FPS and across any community that that motherfucker has played in. Like, that guy is, he's feared.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Have you ever played against him? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Played against him a couple of times. Actually, only one. Huntsman Optic? Actually, yeah, yeah, yeah, a couple times. Yeah, I got booed on stage.
Starting point is 00:27:04 World War II, you probably played him. I played him in when he was on LG or Optic. Honestly, the scariest mad I've ever played against is obviously IW. Like, that was the only time in my cod career, because even now, like, that I've looked at a plane and I was like, holy shit, this guy is different. You were just pissing on you even like even nowadays like people are like obviously there's so many like great players I feel gap since I like IW skill gap was a skill gap yeah like I w like you could you could like the current like right now the 12th place team could fuck with the first place team on any given day that did not happen in a back in a day if you were just one player like Matt was actually legit scary playing at you he's the only player in my career that I was like holy bro I did like loki what me and world war two I used to fucking piss on yeah is in world war two I didn't know I was like Yeah, Zin informal, the only two.
Starting point is 00:27:49 Zinn and formal, holy. Don't lie. I was different. I was different war, too. Can we add me to that sentence, too? Yeah, well, look, with the sniper in S&D. Yeah, so formal, Zinn and Hacks. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Zinn and World War II, though, like, he was. I was different. He was actually untradable. Yeah. I was. Weird fuck. When I Seattle, I looked at the weather, it's like the highest every day is like 60. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:28:12 It's layers. It's jeans. I just hope that you guys all brought your fits, Because I am coming correct. Grippy. I might need to go hit private selection or something, man. I'm more like the same shit. Like, Hector, I'd, like, at least for fall, like,
Starting point is 00:28:23 because he got, you get, you get the layer up, you know what I mean? He got the flannel. He's got the bankroll for it. He does. He was the Kitton shit. I walk in. But the thing is, like, he's got, like, when we go to New York, like, he's going to, like, the stores.
Starting point is 00:28:35 You know what I'm saying? Yeah, he's going to Keth and Amal Leandro. How do you say that? Amelian D. Amelian D. He's, and he has, like, strict rules. He goes, you can't buy a day of day and you... Listen, listen, if we are together, it's like,
Starting point is 00:28:51 the more chances of us wearing the same thing is like, hi. No, I get it. You know what I mean? There's nothing worse when that happens. The other thing is, is like... Other day I was at the bar and I was wearing a shirt and some guy walked in with the same shirt. I was like, that fucking piece of shit. It was like a great, it was a Warren Lotus, like Texas college football shirt.
Starting point is 00:29:07 And I was like, there's no way anybody in the city has this. This guy walks in with it. And I was like, no way. Same city. Think about the odds. He could have gone to any other bar. Yeah, a piece of shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:15 And it just won up to you. Fucking. Was he taller than you? Probably. That's not hard. That's not hard. I mean, anybody's taller than me. Five eight and proud, though.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Just look like the thing. You're long overdue for a trip to the store though. Yeah, usually... And the fucking barber. Who's the man, two row at. Oh shit, yeah, my bad. What's there? Earlier today, I was going to say,
Starting point is 00:29:34 so you sacrificed going to L.A. To get, you know, be one of the best players in Valerant and also countertrikes. So you sacrifice getting haircuts and a shave. You sacrificed probably eat. probably eating showering at least you're showering everything everything you're sacrificing everything everything's gone so what rank are you right now in kind of strike and c s well i just started playing that it was like two weeks ago i'm like uh 10k pretty like 10k on the dot actually the what's that mean it's like actually not even that it's like uh so like the sr the way it works it's kind of like the
Starting point is 00:30:04 vanguard you get like 200 yellow for win 100 for loss i started at 5 000 now i'm at 10 000 so making progress and then number one is at least in n a is like 26 000 And in Valor, I mean like That guy's not getting off. What? 26,000, he's loving it. He just, he's probably hacking. Who?
Starting point is 00:30:21 That's also, because you can still hack in that game. Can you really? Yeah, which is kind of like, what's the, it's the same thing as CSGO. I don't understand how the anti-chee works in that game. I don't think they do have one because everyone, you just spawn in, they literally spawned in yesterday. There was a hack-off.
Starting point is 00:30:35 It was my team's hacker, the other team's hacker. And we went last, we went to OT because they're just bow dropping 50 on each other. I'm like, this is so cringe. Why am I in this lobby? You child the guy, Insta dead, I'm like, this is so pointless. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:30:49 If you don't get a hacker lobby, the game's fun. Yeah. That's the one thing I'll get Val. You can't really hack in that game. Dude, I've always been just a straight-up cod gamer, man. I'll play, like, single player. I'm playing God Award today, later today, but, like I said, I downloaded CS, I deleted it, never played Valerite.
Starting point is 00:31:04 I just never used, I've always been a controller player. Like, growing up, Xbox, PlayStation, like, I've never, the only keyboard games I play are like Club Penguin But that was like That was the extent of my keyboard Yeah that was my extent of keyboard gaming It was like Club Penguin
Starting point is 00:31:20 What the fucking mind cart You're pressing WAA If you would have played Battalion In 1944 you would have fucking loved it Yeah you guys love that game And you said our team I personally love that game Our team was hooked on it
Starting point is 00:31:33 I was the only one I didn't play it Because I was just asked at keyboard games At the time Yeah But Teach T, Daman, Krimm, Seth They were legit getting After Scrims Battalion Really?
Starting point is 00:31:42 It's it's a it's a call a duty 4 slash 2 movement And all S&D Yeah With a good ranking system It's got a little bit of like everything Like Cod CS Like World War II you know type of vibe
Starting point is 00:31:54 And then all in one game Cause you know what I'm saying like Hmm Anyway you missed that Wasn't there was there an economy system To like buy like guns and stuff Yeah so it had like And it legit had everything

As we mentioned, today's M. Bowles' birthday.
Starting point is 00:33:50 It's also Mixwell's birthday, if I remember correctly. But, you know, Mitchell just retired. Congratulations on his retirement, yeah. But Money Biscuit, man, I got, I know you were a size 12. Me and your baby moms are going to get you a nice present. We're coordinated. You know, getting a nice pair of kicks or something. Yeah? Yeah. You want some, you want some Tuesday birthday? No, it was in August. Did I get you anything, huh?
Starting point is 00:34:15 Fuck no. It's all right, though. What was the, what did I get you for your birthday? The last three years? Your contract. My contract is not a gift. It's an exchange of goods. I feel like you've given me like a like a fuck ton of shit. Like, okay, you got me a couple shoes. I know that. Oh, hell now. Maybe three. Wait, when? Jesus. It's not true. Seth. What was the last present that I gave you? He's got me some shoes, I think. He's different. Not the golf cart, see? Matt, I didn't buy you a gift this year for your birthday.
Starting point is 00:34:45 I usually get you a pair of shoes. Right? Shoes. It's shoes. But that was back when he didn't get paid way. You know what I'm saying? Now he can afford his own fucking shoes. He's on the supermax.
Starting point is 00:34:55 This room to grow. It's all right, man. I'm a holder against you. I don't even know what size shoe you wear. 11. Now you know. 11 is the goat number. You're not supposed to say your shoe size, though, man.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Why? What size are you? I'm 11 and a half. Eleven also. Why can you say it? Apparently like you're like this is like a myth but if you say your shoe size and now like you just get robbed now man That's it. Oh So people run up on me. They'll get fucking
Starting point is 00:35:19 Gucci marks in their teeth I got Gucci brass knuckles. I actually do I do I do. Damn that would be AIDS no one wants to wear no I wouldn't hit someone these on The heat that I'd be fucking rocking with you know what I'm saying Matt new balance Well yeah I got those kit new balances I got the the red ones yeah I don't really know what the fuck to wear would I I was you know what I almost gave you you like a suggestion when you went out to go buy it but I'm like look if he wants to step in this in this world of uh into this fashion world then he's gonna have to think about like how do you
Starting point is 00:35:51 buy a pair of shoes not already knowing what you can wear that with yeah I don't got a clue man I just bought him because I liked them well I'll figure it out yeah easy just buy a red shirt white cargos do like you can always go good with like black white maybe like a darkish blue You know what you got on today? Wow. The confies? Just the defaults. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:12 My daughter is crazy that my daughter has better shoe game than a lot of you. What? It's crazy. My actual, if you see my closet, my closet looks tippable. Yeah? I have like 20 pairs of like, maybe that 20, 20 is gas. Like maybe like 12 to like 14 pairs of like shoes. Probably eight Jordans.
Starting point is 00:36:28 They're just all lined up in my car. I just like- You got yeasies that are sitting there? I'm just a collector. You can't wear those. As gamers, like the max you're leaving your house per day is like 30 minutes to an hour. So it's like there's no, there's no point to get this nice-ass outfit on. The only time I'm probably like a really nice outfit, like, or I'll actually like dress to impress. See.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Is if I'm going out for the day or like going out for a dinner. Like I would never like on my way here, I threw on optic hoodie sweatpants. I didn't, I didn't feel the need to. See that's correct. You know what I mean? That's, problem number one, right? You shouldn't wear something for other, but you should wear it because it makes you feel good and you look good. That's the fashion tip right there.
Starting point is 00:37:01 I'm not, I dress how I dress to come to a meeting just because that's it. You know what's a stranger? You wear the clothes, not the clothes wear you. That's right. I wear the clothes, the clothes don't wear me. That's a good. Dashy guys, just beautifully put, beautifully put. So again, huge, huge happy bird.
Starting point is 00:37:21 How old is Bose? Maddie. He's got to be, my guess, is 27. 27? 27? 1995? He was born 1995. He was born in 1995?
Starting point is 00:37:29 He's two years old. No, he might be 28 then. 29? He's 27 or 28. 29? I'm going to guess 29. He's 27 or 28. What's the math on that?
Starting point is 00:37:36 If you report at 1995, 27. 27. Yeah, that's right. That's super right. I wonder if that's updated. No, it's right. I can see it. Birthday.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You're right. 10, 10, 95. You're right. He's 28. He's 28. We're 2023. Man, he's got his whole life ahead of him.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Are we 23? Am I high? Yeah, no, you're high. It doesn't work like that. Wait, what did you say? Yeah, because it hasn't been. He said it's 2023, so doesn't it means 28? Because he's doing 1995.
Starting point is 00:38:05 But you don't, but you don't turn me? You don't turn one full year until 96. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a second, wait a second. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Yeah, because he's zero. He's 28. He's 28.
Starting point is 00:38:15 No, but he's born. He's like zero at 1995. And at 96, he turns one. Yeah, he's zero. He's 20. He's 28? Yeah. It's like the fact that we can't do this math points to the fact that we're doing the right things in life.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Don't say we. It's yaw. This is. I don't got a clue. y'all. Hey, listen, Google says he's 27, therefore he is. You know him better than AI? Yeah, but Google is not updating. Dude, it literally says that October 10th, 1995, and it's 27 years old. Can you get confirmation? Matt, how about you fucking pull up the calculator and subtract? No, the calculator is not going to do anything. Dude, I'm literally, I'm 24 and I was born in 99.
Starting point is 00:38:55 This is the part of the segment where people are going to be like, these guys are fucking morons. Dude, this is not even like this. I don't think it's this hard to like. It says it right there age 27 Go down to WikiFandum Yeah but Bose isn't like Leonardo DiCaprio type of like They're not gonna update it like that
Starting point is 00:39:14 It automatically updates Does it automatically update? Oh right there 28 Gee-ee Wait so Google So Google's wrong If Ryan Wyatt was still working at Google I'd have them
Starting point is 00:39:28 Have them do it Um So happy birthday though To the Good birthday to the mark man Yeah, we miss him. He says, it's my day off. I'm taking the day off.
Starting point is 00:39:36 I'm sorry, it's my birthday. I'm taking the day off. Deal. You took too many days off. Yeah, we were just talking about how, like, if, you know how we're only three because and sick, but I can't take any sick days? No one's going to believe it.
Starting point is 00:39:48 No. You have no credibility. If I'm like 20 minutes, 30 minutes before, like, dude, I feel like ass. Everyone's going to be like, this guy's cap. Yeah. Yeah. My credibility shit.
Starting point is 00:39:56 You say, I got to build my credit again. I got to build my credit. I got to have like three months of just pure, just just being on time. On time. Because then after three months, you'll believe me. Hey, so the second that the game drops, that's when you guys start practicing,
Starting point is 00:40:08 that's what I'm going to be playing a lot. As soon as it hits midnight on November. There's AIDS, there's channels. Are we throwing a $10,000, a 10K? Are we throwing a 10K? Matt, are we throwing a 10K? Probably, honestly. Listen, I'm not awesome.
Starting point is 00:40:23 We're throwing a 10K, figure it out. This is a lot of... Matt, you're throwing a 10K. We have 19 brains here. they can figure out how to fucking do that. We're going to bring 360 icons. He's going to bring back 360 icons. And we're going to get fucking popping.
Starting point is 00:40:42 That's bracket finesse. An optic 360 icon. I've been watching Seth play CS this entire time. Yeah, Seth's been warming out. Well, we're a trio on the podcast. Just let it be known. Well, he's been doing shit since like 10 though. Oh, no, nine, nine since nine.
Starting point is 00:40:56 No. Yeah, you don't think he. His call time was not nine. He will get up before it. Fuck, no. His earliest. would be 10 a.m. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:05 But to be fair, which is still earlier than I would, because I'm a three-minute walk. He's a 40-minute Uber. Which would kind of annoy me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It is definitely annoying. I can't wait to freaking move here. You're moving to my building.
Starting point is 00:41:18 Don't name it. No, no, yeah, obviously. But you says a three-minute walk? Yeah, five-minute walk max. Perfect location. Well, downtown, I mean, just this area. I mean, we can talk about the area. Food everywhere.
Starting point is 00:41:29 It's dangerous, dude. There's food everywhere. Oh, like that. Grocery stores, walking distance. Like, you don't really... Hot bar. Hot bar. The grocery store?
Starting point is 00:41:39 Like, you can go down to Tom Thumb and get a soup, get some... Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Fried chicken, sandwich, sushi. So they have, like, food for that day? Yeah. Yeah. If you guys walk in...
Starting point is 00:41:48 How often have you, like, had that? I don't do it very often, because if I do, I walk to Whole Foods. I love the Whole Foods hot bar. That's like a 10, 15 minute walk. Whole Foods, huh? Yeah. That's not bad at all, though, really. We have so much food around us, man.
Starting point is 00:41:58 Dude, just get a Super 73 and mob around in it. What is that? the electric bike. Or a scooter. Or a scoot. I would do the bike. I got to get a cardio. The bike is better because then you can carry groceries back on the handlebars.
Starting point is 00:42:12 You look cooler too. I don't know about that. But it depends on what you're wearing for sure. Everybody don't look cooler. Don't. Anyway, yeah, I'm excited about this weekend. What is this Fortnite Trophy created by Swarski? What is that?
Starting point is 00:42:28 Sorovsky, sorry. Who is that? Swarovsky. Oh. What is this for? Wait, is that diamond? Is that golden diamond? That can't be real, right?
Starting point is 00:42:37 It's just like a generated... No, it's an NFT. Oh. It's not a real thing, right, Matt? It doesn't look real. No, they should... Video games should do one of ones. The same way that we did the optic whites for IW...
Starting point is 00:42:54 Was it infinite? No, for AW. We did optic whites for 19 people exclusively. 19 exoskeletons, white exoskeletons. Mike, I mean, Maddie, bring those up. White exoskeleton optic gaming ones. So like 19 fans? 19 members of optic only.
Starting point is 00:43:13 And then everybody else got to buy the black ones. You're still on this? What is this? What are you showing us? Yeah, the trophy's still a digital thing, though, right? It's not a... Oh, yeah. How to get a picture with the trophy in Copenhagen?
Starting point is 00:43:26 It was 20 pounds. Damn. That looks dope. What if one kid just wins? I'm going to lift it, I think. I'd ship it, man. I'd ship it. But, but yeah, like, I think, I think that, for example, like, what they did for phase, when phase won, or no, no, when Empire won champs, they put their faces in their team logo at the, at the stadium and Warzone, yeah. Yeah, like, they should do that.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Oh, that was cool. Yeah, that was cool. Like, that's, like, that's an honorable thing to fight for. Like, yeah, the money's going to be cool, but that's fucking legendary shit. And that's back when Warzone was pop. People saw that shit. Yeah. Ben Simmons was running past it.
Starting point is 00:44:06 Yeah, you're right. Booker was looking at it. Right there. Look at that. Yeah. Actually, maybe not Jersey. He played Fortnite, but... Dude, that's fire.
Starting point is 00:44:13 The weekend was looking at it. That is so cool, bro. And then they didn't do it the next year, right? No. Wait, that era war zone was crazy. That era war zone was fucking nights. That crossover between, like, our community and, like, celebrities. Like, I was playing Ben Simmons, D-Book, K-1, fucking...
Starting point is 00:44:29 Like, X-O-C-C-O-O-C-O-C-C-O-C-C-C? crew like there I was all playing I was playing wars with every night I was playing war zone with with Drake's dave Drake's trainer and his engineer no well and fucking rocks that's insane yeah because they all just because think about it during COVID everyone's inside just gaming yeah everyone was bro war zone was the thing at that well right before that it was the perfect storm actually if you think about it during I w it was awful but it was great for our community it was great for it was just good for everyone for war zone the only thing was gaming just because everyone was just gaming.
Starting point is 00:45:01 That was the only thing COVID was good for. It was like a full week where we were playing with Ben Simmons and old men of optic matches on Call 34. Yeah. Is that late? Hey, bro, it was on national news in Australia. Like my voice, me saying, is, go, ah, I'm going crazy. Because he was fucking snapping, though.
Starting point is 00:45:18 Like, he's, you see him shooting lately? With who, Ben? Yeah, Ben. Wait, I actually played with me, TJ, we played against Ben Simmons and some other ball player in a TV two. I had Benson was on my team, we shit on them. I was like, it's good a Ben.
Starting point is 00:45:30 Like, I was gas enough and shit. No, Ben's a good player. But you're talking about his jump shot? Yeah, his jump shot. You've seen it? I'm not going to lie. I've seen that every off season. Oh, yeah?
Starting point is 00:45:37 He's got to, like, I think if, like, this could be a good year for him because he looks like he's got something to prove. Something to prove. That's right. Yeah. Hopefully, you don't know. We're going to see him. Right there.
Starting point is 00:45:49 We'll see him right there. My boy that's got traded to the Mavs. We'll see him. Grant would come on the podcast and Grant Williams. He was on Celtics. He would be here right now if I invited him. He's like super cool to come through. Book him and then book them.
Starting point is 00:46:04 Yeah, all right. That's cool. That's good. So I personally believe that next season, if we just put a little bit of effort. And look, I know that I said that it's, where is it going? Twitch. From what I understand, it's a YouTube thing. That's what I said.
Starting point is 00:46:23 But people that I know were like, yo, that might not be a thing. The assumption is YouTube. The assumption is YouTube. The hope is if it's on YouTube, we could co-stream on Twitch as well. So I'm just thinking about it practically. Like the Cod League, this for Cod Next tweeted the YouTube slash Cod League link. Like to me that says if they're promoting YouTube.com slash Codleague, that to me looks like we're transitioning into YouTube. But weren't they doing that last year still?
Starting point is 00:46:51 I think they're streaming on both last year. Yeah, but they were promoting their YouTube one too. You may be right. I'm pretty sure they were. No, because it was specific to teams, right? Well, last year there was no exclusive deal. So last year... But they would still like...
Starting point is 00:47:04 Yeah, but the talk... Well, the talks is they're going back into an exclusive deal with YouTube, which selfishly, I hope fucking collapses because... I mean, yeah, obviously. In my opinion, we've talked about before. Like, I think the one thing you can never sacrifice is viewership. I don't like...
Starting point is 00:47:17 Like, you are... If you sacrifice viewership for a short-term dollar, you're only fucking yourself in the long-term. Like, you're better off sacrificing a short-term money for the long-term growth. And that way, when the economy starts picking up again, and e-sports starts booming again, which I think inevitably it will.
Starting point is 00:47:31 Right now we're in a really rough spot. Things will work itself out. I think everyone's like panicking right now just because of, I guess, the current like world landscape and the economy, which I get it. I mean, it's probably our first time experience and like at our age, something like this. But we don't know.
Starting point is 00:47:47 Let's hope it's on Twitch because if we lose watch party numbers, like YouTube is short term, Twitch is long term. But like the viewership, or the viewership was insane. you know, even though Mdb2 was, the game was pretty shit. The way I think about it is like, even if you let us go on Twitch for two years, we're going to keep growing,
Starting point is 00:48:05 and then you can sign a bigger YouTube deal or a bigger streaming deal in the long term. Like, why rush? And very, keep in mind, I'm not high-level meetings and I'm not worried about the money on an investor's sides. I don't really know. But I just really hope that for the community, like we just saw our best year ever in viewership.
Starting point is 00:48:24 Obviously watch parties, us, Tommy, like everyone was killing the watch party. game, it'd be a big hit to go back to YouTube exclusively. If we can do the watch party on Twitch, fuck it. I don't care where it is, but we'd be losing a big, big, big chunk of viewership, unfortunately, so let's hope. But to further your point, like old school MW2 maps, that brings, everybody knows these maps.
Starting point is 00:48:48 Like, any celebrity, like this game on Twitch, casual gamer, they know the map, so it's it's seamless. If they have a day off and they're not. This game on Twitch, They don't have an NFL game that day. They could tune in and watch the CDL, and they'll know the maps enough to know what's going on. Bro, if they did, if they brought Strike back,
Starting point is 00:49:07 imagine the S&Ds on Strike, man. He loves Strike, dude. He loves Strike. Yes. You think Strike's the best. Strike is actually, it's a, strike is the best S&Farm out. Hit the top tier S&D map.
Starting point is 00:49:18 Name a better S&D map. Your pro players. All time? Yeah. Probably like a standoff raid. Standoff from Raid are good. Strike is better than both of those. I'm trying to think
Starting point is 00:49:27 top five I mean it's it's all top five I mean if I can go jet packs I think infection as in all right this is let's do an exercise
Starting point is 00:49:35 okay while I ask these guys this question you guys put it in the description on below your top three we're not gonna do five
Starting point is 00:49:40 we're gonna do your top three best S&D maps you guys type it in right now you tell me right now and I'll tell you mine dude
Starting point is 00:49:46 is Arcaden crazy Arcade and MW3 with the fucking with the stairs hell yeah map get the MWV3
Starting point is 00:49:54 a good search maps I wouldn't give you I would go standoff Okay. I would go standoff raid. I think, I think those are locks. Black Ops, too,
Starting point is 00:50:01 search maps are good. And then to top it off, I don't know, Cod4 was, strikes a good map. It's hard to do three because there's like 17 years of 20 maps.
Starting point is 00:50:12 You know what, each year. I'll go standoff raid infection. Infection? I don't even know which. Oh, infection had Tujain on the on the side. Wait, Tugent.
Starting point is 00:50:21 That's what it was? No, no, I'm sorry. Infection? From Bob three? Oh my God. Like the top? Like the top rock? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Really. Don't fucking search a mat. That actually was a good map. Carrington. Sorry. It had Carrington on the side. Yeah, yeah. Like on the wall of...
Starting point is 00:50:35 That's a good map. That's a good one. That's a good one. That's a good one. That's a good one. That's a good map in that game. Damn. Or fringe.
Starting point is 00:50:42 Fringe. Fringe is an honorable match. I was going to say Fringe. Fringe is a good search map. Wait. So which ones are your three? Which one's fringe? Fringe is like the one with the tracks.
Starting point is 00:50:53 There's a barn. Okay. Underrated search map? London docks. Oh my God, don't play that chick. You're only in the search, that's where
Starting point is 00:51:01 Attach got hit with a bunch and still diffuse, right? Yeah, yeah, that was. But that was a good search, man. I don't think it's like in the... Maybe not top three. I'm just trying to take out of the box right now.
Starting point is 00:51:10 I'm trying to be unique. I don't think it's top ten either. Well, I'll give me strike. Well, don't give me. Strike actually might be up there. Strike is way the fuck up there. Yeah, strike. Strike, for me, it's a strike for sure
Starting point is 00:51:21 for S&D only. Strictly S&D. Strick? No. He doesn't like crash, right? Crash is very overrated. Crash is not necessarily overrated, but I wouldn't put it in my top three.
Starting point is 00:51:32 I'll put it in my top five. I wouldn't put it in my top three. Overgrown? Overgrown? You know why? Because with the snipers, man. With the gilly suit? I remember I saw Gris back in the day,
Starting point is 00:51:43 no scope somebody across the map and I thought it was a cool. Bridge to bridge? Wait, hard hat. Yeah, like literally that. And I thought it was a cool shirt. Hard hat was a good search map. Hard hat?
Starting point is 00:51:50 Like the MW through that little tunnel. No. Yes, Hard hat was a good ass search map. Wait, okay, wait, hard hat? I'm thinking of Dome. It's like the construction site. Oh, no, that's not a good S&D map. That is not a good S&D maps.
Starting point is 00:52:02 No, it is not. That's it right there. Hard hat was a good search map. Okay, so mine are, okay, and in order, strike at the number one. Yeah. High rise. Okay, you're tripping. You don't think high rise is a good S&D map?
Starting point is 00:52:19 That's a good map. Like, competitively. Competitively? Okay. It's going to be competitively this year, probably. Yeah. You think I'm only speaking from a cat. Just so you know, I never play fucking multiplayer.
Starting point is 00:52:30 I never going to play S&Ds. I only play game battles. S&Ds. I wouldn't put a top three. I'm not putting it over. Let me take it back. I wouldn't do high rise because I wouldn't do terminal. Okay.
Starting point is 00:52:41 Terminals overrated as fuck. Yeah, I agree. So a strike. Birthday boy, Mark. Hey, we got MoneyBiscuit. Name your three, your three, happy birthday. Happy birthday. Chat, leave a like for his happy birthday.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Your three best S&D maps. All time. We said standoff raids or like... And we'll end the podcast on this. I know Bose is going to give us an answer that's like an S&D like... Standoff, I like... Hold on. Give us a second.
Starting point is 00:53:11 I just thought of... Go ahead. He's going to give us an... And probably like crash or something like that. Crash is overrated. I told you. I told you. Or a strike.
Starting point is 00:53:17 I think Ghost, I just thought Ghost had some good search maps. Like what, Freight? Warhawk? Uh... Freight's good. Warhawk was good. Warhawk was good. Warhawk was good. Soverell was good.
Starting point is 00:53:27 Sovereign was good. The one thing I liked about Warhawk was how. They had like solid, consistent maps. We've had a lot of good search maps. No goat maps. Strike. Standoff. Raid.
Starting point is 00:53:40 I think standoff rate are locks for top three. What's that forest map in three? In Black Ops three? Where you run up the trees? I said infection. A redwood? I think Redwood would have been one of the best. Don't you fucking dare.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Listen to me. Redwood, listen to me. But that afterburn is one of the best Sany maps ever. Yeah. I will. I like that in the beginning. Those are my three. That's why.
Starting point is 00:54:01 You can what? You can just. Run under the map on tree branches. It takes skill to do that and both of you can do it. No, but I think if there's no afterburn, you can't do that. Two players can snake. You can't just say both you can do it so it makes it good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:13 It takes skill. I'm talking about the map layout. Strike is the number one. Strike is the number one. You're so biased to cut. Are you not biased in saying the ones that you say? Black Ops too, no. You mentioned fucking London.
Starting point is 00:54:26 He said London Ducks because that was like, what is the best one? That's a good one. I was thinking. I will stick it out of the box. David, what are your top three best S&D maps? Of all time. Of all time. Just three.
Starting point is 00:54:37 Don't want me. Give us a standoff, Ray. Strike. Okay, he says, right? Wait, you said, right? Damon, Dean. What about Backlott? Backlott's so good.
Starting point is 00:54:49 Backlut. Yeah. That's the goat saying that. Yeah. I don't know, but... Pipeline. He just lost credibility. Pipeline was pretty good.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Damien said I played pipeline. Decently. Yeah, we said over, girl. I think scrap yard is, I think scrapyard's good. Ooh. Scrapyard is good because of the three lanes and easy to see across the map. And it was fast page. The possible MW2 was there was no tack mask and you had two stuns,
Starting point is 00:55:17 so you were just getting fucking just bombarded. Because I like how every S&Mah has own field. If we played currently, like the level of like nerdiness and like playtime now, if we play at MW2 now, you would just get stunned native every single time. Do you think me? I'm going to pick my team. I'm going to pick my team smartly. Do you think me, diesel,
Starting point is 00:55:42 and two other, oh, pack me, diesel, Pac-Mac, and nameless can be you, you, you, and Seth in Caldirty 2? Headquarters? If it was just right now, we got, like, Caldary 2. Like, headquarters.
Starting point is 00:55:55 Two, Jane, up to 200, HQ, 200, 200, 200, 200. Up to 400. You don't think so? I know so. No, no way. I don't think that me... Yalling in the map.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Backman, Nameless and Diesel. Yalling in the... After the first rotation of whatever objective we're playing, we'd know the map, then it'd be done. As soon as we know where we're going, it's done. I don't even know what I'm just going.
Starting point is 00:56:20 I'm just going to run out of... Yeah, just run around and kill. That'd be fun. I mean, I was going to see this and be like, what? Little ass kids. What? I'm like, I'm my...
Starting point is 00:56:27 Wait, no way. Well, listen, my blow. Listen, I am... I am, I'm not saying that I'll shoot better than you, but I'll out strategy. We will out strategize you guys. Anyway. Best three S&D maps of all time.
Starting point is 00:56:42 Come on, man. You got to retire that. It's not funny, dude. You got to retire that. That's pretty good. Best three S&D maps. Of all time. Ever.
Starting point is 00:56:53 We got standoff raid. Sob. Which one? Which one sob? That's the first one. No, I did say sovereign. Yeah, he did say. Which one?
Starting point is 00:57:02 Sovereign. Ghosts with the... Sovereign. Like the underground part? It's like robots and not robots. Standoff, raid. Any of them? Standoff Raid, strike.
Starting point is 00:57:12 Underground ghosts. We just played it at the... Raid. I gave... I did uh... I'm going sovereign, raid. Fringe. Strike.
Starting point is 00:57:22 Lightning C. Arcaded. Arcade. C. Finally. Thank you. Game recognized game. I'm on 4 3.
Starting point is 00:57:30 I think if we're talking bias. I'm putting frequency in that motherfucker for being biased. Fricency was Arcaden wasn't terrible. I just didn't, I just, there's a bad. I actually,
Starting point is 00:57:38 remember that conversation we had about the goat maps? Arcaden might slide, like, not go of goat goats, but like, it's nice. It's kind of remember,
Starting point is 00:57:46 you can remember it. It's a solid eight-tier map across any kind. Yeah. Arcadian was definitely eight-tier map. All right, well, listen,
Starting point is 00:57:52 I'm going down the comments section. I'm going to grade your shit, okay? And if, I just, I would have said, Touje.
Starting point is 00:58:00 I would, like, if I, in my heart hearts, I would have said to Jane for S&D. I would have said to Jane for all the games. Who? No, he's looking at me grinning.
Starting point is 00:58:12 All right. Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, that's going to do for this episode, number 144 of the Optic podcast. You shout out to Moundu for sponsors for the podcast. We'll see you guys next week.
