It's major time here It's fucking beautiful out though We're recording this Thursday the matches start up in like two hours two and a half hours and we're underway for the third major of the year i'm excited man i i'm curious to see how our tournament goes i think we just immediately talk about that talk about optics first round matchup and then we kind of go into dinner last night how the city's been so far i'm down for that let's get into let's get right down the business once again we play we play today and i think our matchup is going to set the tone

for the rest of the weekend. I'm a little worried, I can't lie. Like, when I listen to Breach's Coms compared to ours, I think they have better comms through and through just consistently. We need to show up today in order to make this run. Because I just, I think if we fall to breach here in the winter's bracket and go down to losers. We would fall to Vegas.

So, we'd fall down to AG. That's scary. After them beating us online, we didn't think it was going to happen. And then it happened. Everyone was cooking our shit. But, like, I see our match versus phase. and if that round 11 goes differently, like I don't think we looked bad against phase.

No, not a don't. I think you look at that phase series and you take away certain highlights and you try and just run with that. We could have done this. We were right there with them. Let's go take care of Breach. Yeah, I hope we come out and we win, man.

I think playing Breach first, I think we have one of the easier round one matchups just based off all the other ones because Miami and Ultra both look great, surge and phase of both. Both look great. Obviously, thieves have looked good. Ravens have been all over the place and then...

Well, Ravens, I can't even tell because they have one match with Dylan Rex. They get 3-0. They got destroyed. And now they're playing thieves first round. So I kind of feel bad for the guy because this guy can't even try and get any type of momentum or confidence. He's just getting railed by crap every fight. I mean, it was their decision, you know? So, like, fuck, I mean, if they were to play better, they wouldn't have had thieves.

But shit. They made a decision. They made a change for a reason. and now, fuck. Dude, surge phase. I mean, it's going to be tough. They never said the road was going to be easy. Surge phase is an absolute banger.

Dude, the matches day one are just so good. I love majors, man. They're just so good. I mean, Miami Ultra Surge phase. And then you look at the losers bracket, and it's a bunch of wild cards. You have Falcons who very well could have got to win his bracket spot. They're pretty gross at a hard point.

Their comms are hype. Those guys are all playing for their longevity. Every single player on Falcons, they all know, listen, we're not going to make champs. we need to secure a spot as professionals going forward, and that's what they're playing for. And honestly, I've been seeing it. I think all four are playing well stepping up.

I fucking love Exited. Yeah, I'm a big egg thing. I love how happy he is when he gets map wins or series wins. And it's just like a... It's a beautiful sight to see when he's playing well. Seeing that, just pure passion. Getting a 1V3. Like, he's doing his thing.

Well, Vegas was one reverse sweep away from a... them being in winners bracket and us being in losers bracket. If they don't get reverse sweeped, if everything happened how it did, I'm pretty sure we're starting in losers. I think every team is a wild car besides gentlemen's. I think Rocker can turn up at any given time, Falcons, and then Cloud 9 too. I agree. But we would fall to Vegas, 100%. Yeah.

And honestly, if we were to lose. Let's just hope we don't fall, man. I think we need to feel the win. Take care of breach. Breach the season. Feel the wind or feel the wind? Feel the wind. And the wind.

We need to catch that wind. We need to catch that wind. breach so far this year have been way better online and they have been on land and I'm hoping that kind of repeats today my worry is and I was talking to Riley about this like breach is pretty

solid online their comms are great they haven't been able to translate that to land but how long is that going to last? Is this a team that's just going to be bad on land every single time they travel? I personally don't think so I think they'll find it I think just as you get more reps just not against us they have a young team

purged exactly so let's let's hope I think our searches need to be good versus breach today? I think that's very important. That's the only thing I'm worried about is that regardless, if breach falls to us first map, they're pretty good in search. They have a good search roster. They hit shit out together.

I know purges that S&D kids call the strats. So it's like if I think if we want to beat these guys, we need a guarantee, obviously, take a respawn. But I think we need to win our searches. I think it starts map one, man. We've got to come out hot because we lose that map one. Now they're up. now they're up 1-0.

We go into probably like, what, Hossi search or, I don't know, what other maps have breached been playing. Hossi. We're at the point in the game where you have to rotate. That's what I'm worried about our hard point. Because when we rotate,

we play great and we don't rotate. I don't care. Like, at this point, every team is good enough to hold hills. So if you don't rotate, a team like Breach will punish you. A team like Rocker will punish you. Like, it's not,

it's not like you're going as walk through on these teams at this point in the game. Everyone knows what they're doing. Everybody knows where you're going. You know, you're going to hit well to break P2 first, then you're going to face slam front. It's readable now. So that's why we have to be on top of rotations.

And I think if we're on top of rotations, our heart points should be fine. Like Mark said, the only thing I'm really worried about here is search and destroy. Hopefully we get a skyline hard point in there as well. I would love a nice little skyline nap one bang out. No, Breach loves it, but we've been playing it as well. So maybe we get it. I kind of, I do like playing skyline. I'm worried about a first map skyline against Breach.

Unbiased opinion. What do you think we place? Unbiased. Okay. If I'm being honest, and I... I would love to say top four, but I would say top six. Top six is what I'm thinking. I honestly think right now there are four clear better teams than us, that being

phase, surge, thieves, ultra, and I have Miami above us right now as well. So I would put us in like six, seventh area. But see, the thing is we beat Breach. We're already top six. Exactly. Oh. We win that one series against Breach. We're guaranteed top six.

I mean, dude, if you want me to be completely honest, if we beat Breach, I think Faye's or Surge is going to be a tough, a tough battle for us. Either one's tough. I think it's going to be Faye's. I struggle to see Faye's losing first round against Serge, but those guys always give us great series. But you know me. I've always preached.

It takes one match. It takes one map. It takes one series. And hopefully that could be the series against Breach where we get a win. and it just transforms the team into a different beast than we've seen. Because right now... See, I don't think it's the Breach series, though.

I think it'd have to be, like, round two. That transformative win? Like, if we were to beat Breach, we'll be like, all right, we beat them. But if we beat, like, Phaser's search, then it's like, oh, shit. Yeah, but if we beat Breach and just get that... We get the day break.

We play on Saturday. I just think that could catapult us a little bit forward compared to where we are right now. We just have to feel that win on land. Hear the crowd. and then get this roster going the way, hopefully this roster can go. We got to hope Snoop is playing a little slower than what he does. That's Snoop.

We have a search roster, though. Like, that's where we have to be great, because Caesar's a solid search player. That's where we have to, like, we need that one game mode search to be consistent win. 9 out of 10 times, 8 out of 10 times. But, I mean, 9 of 10. That's the thing, no, is, like, search players as, as AR players, they can have the knowledge, but they're not really in the mix as much as Shati and Hook are on the map. That's what he's running the game.

All we need to do is just be directing them. Like, you have Shati and Hooke, bro. Well, Shotsie, Shotsie play. Shotsie play calls to, like, set up the ARs to look over. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, play with that. That's like what he does. He's like, yo, I'm going to do this.

You watch over me. That sounds so lovely. Yeah. He played calls. That sounds lovely. So, yeah, it's going to be a fire major, man. Hopefully the boys come out. They have a good tournament.

After the last tournament, obviously, we didn't really have any reps with, with Bueno on the squad. So hopefully they come out. I think top four, I think top four would be great. Top four is like a good. I think top four is like a solid tournament. And then we, because we need CDL points. I mean, I think we're getting safer and safer with the way Cloud 9 and Rocker have been playing, especially them both starting in losers' bracket.

Of course, you want to secure a better seat for champs. A top four here, I think, is a, it's not a win. We all prefer a win. Don't get me wrong. But I think top four, given how we look right now, I think other teams have us, Once again, phase thieves, I think. Top four of the team should be happy with that based on. Like top four, okay, we got top four.

Let's go back online and let's have a good stage four change. I don't want to, I mean, top four, that would be great. Based on recent events. That widens the gap for points. It kind of takes the pressure off a little bit going into the last split. Last thing we want us to come out here and get like eighth. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then we'll listen.

We get 10 points or whatever. I don't want us to peek now. I don't want us to peak now. I want us to peak at the end of stage four. And then you have a, great tournament stage four and you'll roll right into champs. Different teams peak at different times throughout the year. I'd much rather it happen next stage than now.

If right now we place top four at top six and everyone's like, this team blows, blah, blah, blah, and then we go out there and place top two at the next major, it's worth it because all that matters is the tournament before champs and at champs. Because there's no matches in between stage four major and champs. Nope. So you go out there, you have a great major. You're riding crazy momentum. Yeah, it's a long time, but I think top four for this current iteration, the way they look right now, would be a solid weekend, to be honest.

That had to have felt so good. To see Matt, even get like after all the times he's won, to see a mean lap much to someone like that is just, it's kind of inspiring. I think the way it happened to definitely makes you more emotional. Like, to be tested and go to that final map and the final best of seven. What did legend say? He said we're just being tested. Yeah, that is.

They got the revenge on Nemesis who beat them in pool play. Shout out to them, though, because Nemesis came out and they were playing unbelievable. Yeah, they looked good to. Nemesis? Yeah. They got six. They almost knocked us out of the tournament. They might have got seventh-eighth.

It was either fifth, sixth, seventh-eighth. Like, it makes me worry, okay, look at that bracket, right? Let's say Nemesis played Space Station instead of us. I think we probably would have met Nemesis and losers semis with the way they were playing. Yeah, they looked good. Those guys were playing good. They looked really good. Yeah, we reversed up them, right?

Yeah, reverse swept them. I was watching that on the couch like, holy shit, please don't lose. Shout out the Halo, though, man. Go to that. And then they got it done. Shouts out Halo, man. Congratulations to the boys. Absolutely.

Yeah, I think it's the first. But so like, I see Michelin Star and I'm like, okay, we're about to be eating like birds. They're about to be bringing gastronomy and fucking bubbles coming out the drinks and shit. Yeah, we're about to get a quail egg this big. And there's, I was like, I want to be fool when I leave this.

I want to be absurdly fool. And I left that place. Oh, stuff to the brim. Underedly full. And bro, everything was fucking good. And I ain't going to lie, chat. I'm the type of guy that does. and eat certain shit, like even that tartar right there, I was like, eh.
