Starting point is 00:00:00 From each perspective, it was insane because Iz is in the car trapped with him circling it. I'm inside not knowing what's going on. I get a text that there's a shooter. Like, it was just, it was just, it was horrifying. What's going on, everybody? Welcome to the Optic Podcast. Episode number 145, brought to you by Center, Factor, BetterHelp, and Shopify. We've got the normal suspects, Zinni, Maniac, Damon Barlow, DB3.
Starting point is 00:00:32 What's going on? we feeling. We were talking about this before Seattle yesterday. The podcast started, but we all walk in. Everyone starts complaining a little bit. Zinny doesn't feel too well.
Starting point is 00:00:44 My third hurts. Seth's Uber here. His driver was shitting himself the entire time. Ripping them. It was actually insulting. Like usually if you, if you shit your pants once,
Starting point is 00:00:55 it's like, ah, you know, whatever, let it out. One squeaked out. No, it was a barrage. That's the worst, dude. I hate a stinky fucking Uber.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Because I'm like notorious for that. Yeah, this one was extra stinky. Not even like fart stinky. Just like if you get in their car and it's just like just a general odor. See, it's like, dude, that's the thing with Uber's. It's like a 50-50 chance of like, so it's like half the time you get a good ride, nothing's wrong. And then the other half it's like the car smells like SIGs or he's ripping ass or he's been driving for eight hours. No, the worst.
Starting point is 00:01:26 I hate the cigarette smell, dude. Like I just can't stand like sitting in like a car where it just wreaks a boat. Oh, wake up at like 10 a, well not wake up again. in the Uber 10 a.m. You haven't eight yet? You ever do that, though? Let's like, you go to like, rip silent ass, and then it's just catastrophic ass,
Starting point is 00:01:39 like, you're just like, fuck. Yeah. I mean, that was, that was high school. That one's bad. That was all the highest place. Play video games till, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Then I'd go to sleep at, like, 2.30,
Starting point is 00:01:53 or I'd eat a huge meal. Go to sleep at like 2.30. Wake up at 7, like, hit the bus, and I'm just instantly starting. I don't even get a shit out in the morning. It's just all coming out on the bus. Those kids. Those kids.
Starting point is 00:02:03 knew it was me too. Get the school. Because no one could blow it up like that. And they knew it. Start drinking the milk. They knew there was a certain... You were making your own fried Oreos. That's a different brand.
Starting point is 00:02:13 I was a big boy, man. That aroma. But we were in Seattle. Oh, shit. And a fucking terrorizing city. I think... It's fucking the most unsafe city. I have the video.
Starting point is 00:02:26 I should post it to Twitter to show people like what happened. I think it was crazy. I think opinions of Seattle have changed a bit from last year. It's only 30 seconds. It's only like 20 seconds. Hold on. Let me show you this shit. But go ahead. Start about your world's experience, then. Well, no, I was saying I think some people may have a different outlook on Seattle now compared to last year. Because going into this weekend, we were just like, we can't wait for Seattle.
Starting point is 00:02:50 City's beautiful. You know, Seth got engaged there. Skyline, food. Everything was perfect last year. And then this year, apparently, well, dude, the homeless situation is just really bad over there. And, like, it is, I'm not sure if we just didn't experience it last year. Like, if we weren't walking around much, I don't really remember. I feel like it has to be that because all the Uber drivers are telling us that the homeless situation is actually improved.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Really? Which. I don't remember it being, like, really bad there. Downtown Seattle, it's hard to believe it improved because it was, like, there are certain areas downtown where it is pretty sketchy. Third Avenue. It is, well, Third Avenue especially. That Ross for less. I would have told you, I would have told you you shouldn't, because all the locals last year were, like, just don't go on third and you're fine.
Starting point is 00:03:34 My thing with, like, I always think, like... And Seattle rains a lot. Dude, when it's like 10 degrees out, I always just think, like, dude, I feel so bad for homeless people. Like, it's brick inside my house. I can't imagine being out there. But, um, the event was still a fun event. Like, it was great.
Starting point is 00:03:51 We had some good food. We had a great location. Shouts out to, shouts out to HCS. They put us, like, fucking front row, full view of the stage. Like, that was probably the best. location we've had as a watch party since we've been doing the watch party. Love the weather too. I just love the Seattle weather. At just like, at least right now, like it wasn't too rainy. I feel like last year was a little more rainy. I think it was a little
Starting point is 00:04:14 rainy the last day we were there or the day we arrived. The last day we were there, tiny bit rainy, but other than that, it was just like beautiful fall weather, perfect walking weather. Yeah, I think I love the weather now. In like a month, it's probably going to, I don't know how someone was, who was saying Seattle like doesn't even get that cold. I think it was like best man or something. You were saying Seattle doesn't even get that cold. I was like, there's no way in a month from now. It's not like 30 degrees. Yeah, that bad is there.
Starting point is 00:04:38 It's snowing, like the wind from the lake or ocean, whatever the fuck it is. I mean, even outside in Dallas today, 57 degrees, beautiful. I walked here with a smile on my face. The air is different. I think from the water. Dude, here or, you're talking to Seattle? Yeah, like the Seattle. When I was like going on my runs and shit.
Starting point is 00:04:59 I don't know. The air just was like so fresh. Well, and the altitude is different, right? Isn't the altitude, isn't like the... What do I look like a topography map? Yeah, I don't know. The fuck you talking about what's the altitude. I didn't know what the fuck topography is, dude.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Topographies, the maps that are like, they show the altitude. The altitude of the actual fucking things. You know, even walking here to the office today, just like the fall weather, it just makes me a happy camper, dude. Yeah. Like you just inhale, it's like, it's not hot, fucking humid air. Hot, just air.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Dude, the three months... Three months summer in Dallas, holy fuck. You just inhaled sauna. Every time you walked outside, it was like, dude, what is that? Like, that is... Dude, you don't love it. You don't go outside. If you do, you go in your pool.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Stop talking like you walk the streets. I love it. I'm getting tired of it. He goes, I love it, dude. I just go in the pool. That's like an anomaly experience. Not an anomaly, but like you can't just justify four months of hell because you have a pool. Oh, I love it.
Starting point is 00:05:57 I got the pool. I felt the same way, though. I was at the pool five days a week for three. months I feel like. But when you're not... If you like pools, you like the summer. I like pools, but when you're not at the pool, daily activities just
Starting point is 00:06:09 aren't normal. You can't walk to the grocery store without fucking dying. You're just like, oh my God, I can't breathe. I'm dripping. But right now, as beautiful is my point. And Seattle was beautiful. And the event was fun. Streams were great. Watch party was great.
Starting point is 00:06:24 A lot of love and support, as always. And it felt good. I feel like that was like the perfect in-between. because I feel like it's perfect timing. Now we have a couple, like a few weeks, and the call duty drops, and then it's just full-on, like, grind time.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Because I kind of feel like, even though we're full-time content, our off-season is kind of similar to the Cobb players where it's like most of our content's call-duty-centric. I've been streaming. Yeah, but still, but our most hype content is call-duty-centric. I'm not saying you haven't been streaming,
Starting point is 00:06:54 but a lot of people would rather watch you play. We have 50,000 viewers on the watch party. If you don't think we're called-a- that's crazy. I don't know what to tell you. Do you just like to argue? Is that what you're trying to do? I was trying to guess ourselves up.
Starting point is 00:07:06 No, I'm, I'm, we, you've streamed a lot of apex. We're working. But. Yeah, we're grinding out here. What else? Dude, shut the fuck up. Finish your sentence. My point is once MW3 drops, it's like fully into it.
Starting point is 00:07:18 It's like a, just a nose dive into like, it's, it's wagers, tournaments, eights, watching stuff, like talking about community drama, roster changes, watch parties. He's like, I can't wait for, we're back. Yeah, when cod drops are going to be, it makes making content so much easier because you just know what you're doing every day. It's like during the off season, you actually have options, and I feel like having options actually makes it more stressful. It's like, what the fuck am I going to do today?
Starting point is 00:07:45 I'm not sure if you guys can relate, but also like- Cod, Cod, Cod. I feel like my overall content, like, if I go live and I play Cod for six hours and then I want to transition it to something, I'm not sure what it is about it, but like, starting with Cod and going to something, is just such like a different feeling than me playing like Apex or... Yeah, you're going to have more viewers going into whatever you're doing. Or playing God of War.
Starting point is 00:08:08 And I'm just like more energy. I don't know how to explain it. Maybe it's the viewers. I don't fucking know. It's got to be. I don't want to watch me. I don't think anybody does. I don't want to watch you play Apex and even I was fucking gagging.
Starting point is 00:08:21 I wasn't that bad until... I was like, what the fuck was that? I wasn't even that bad. I wasn't even that bad. He just turned on me when Dalton was starting to get in another game. No, Tush made him quit. That's actually comedy. Tush yelled at him one day.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Dude, if I was Zinnie playing with you and Dahl Tush, I'd fucking lose my mind. No, dude, because Tush started gagging on my dick by texting him saying, yo, Zin's awful at Apex. It's like, well, I mean, Tush made him quit. No, no, it's just like, well, Tush, you're an actual professional. And this kid plays it and acts like he's at champs every day because, like, if he's not going hard, the whole world's ending. So I'm sitting there trying to have a good time. I'm like, oh, yeah, dude, let's fucking go fight. Let's go fight this day.
Starting point is 00:09:00 doing out my heirloom and I just go get fucking slammed and then oh my god Zinney's terrible costing oh my own. That's where Hate Zineland came from. He calls my chat Hatesinneyland. No, that's been like that dead. That's open. No, that started that started the wild. That's actually comedy that Tush made you quit. I wouldn't say Tush, you're part of it too. I wouldn't say Tush made me quit. You started ditching me dude. You started just making plans with teams without me not telling you. You wouldn't hit me up at all. You knew it was you knew that
Starting point is 00:09:27 you knew that I was ditching you. He's brain dead man. You wouldn't hit me up We're talking about somebody who Bro I would say meet us Meet in the hotel lobby in five minutes He's gonna go up and change Ten minutes later
Starting point is 00:09:41 He'll text me what we doing And I'd say dude Are you fucking stupid You know where we are I told you where we're gonna be I don't like to be the first down there Why to make sure someone else is down there So then I can come swoop in
Starting point is 00:09:52 Catch a vibe I don't want to be down there Just sitting down there My AirPods in maybe I guess that's kind of a good excuse Just looking at people. Either way, call duty. The bar's always there.
Starting point is 00:10:06 The bar ain't walking away. Oh, you want to go viral? Yeah, my money different. Yeah, what's not? Money, Bose, man. Money mark in the building, ladies and gentlemen. He said, searching destroy, I destroyed a new bitch. What he said in that new track by Arnold Bose called viral.
Starting point is 00:10:24 I wish we could play that song right now. Yeah, that song goes hard, right? That was getting us through some low times at the, there weren't any low times at the watch party, but when there was nothing going on we play that song what's it called? Viral.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Viral. When we play viral it pumps us up for a few minutes and then we get back into it. Did you put a PC beta? Yeah, how did it feel in comparison?
Starting point is 00:10:44 Was it like different? Oh, no, I mean, it just just felt good. Yeah, it felt better than PS5. I mean, it was nice, so. Was it sweatyer, like lobby-wise? I feel like it'd be less sweaty.
Starting point is 00:10:56 I feel like more people play on PC now than they do on like... Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I was like, I was playing by myself, like, not yesterday, the day before, just, like, chilling. Like, it wouldn't crazy. Because the PS5 lobbies were, like, sweaty. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:11 Yeah. I would figure if you have a PS5, you're a complete casual. Well, I feel like, because it was the closed beta, and it was the first beta that dropped. So it was, like, only people that pre-orders. You know that they wanted to get on. They wanted to get on that. Yeah. Like, kids.
Starting point is 00:11:26 It wasn't just like, oh, beta's live. Yeah, I'll hop on. It was like, I've been waiting for this. this fucking shit. Oh my god, I'm at scum. This is my year. Yeah, no, it's not. Dude, it's not your fucking year.
Starting point is 00:11:37 The last day I played, I only played search and I was just messing around. The lobbies were fun. I saw people were playing the 6 v-6 beta tournaments. Like, I don't know, man. I mean, I'd probably be doing that stuff too. Yeah, I think they just wanted something other than like a normal pub to play. Yeah, I saw, I saw Davis hating on that. Yeah, I mean.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Bird's nest bitch. Yeah, what did he say? Let the kids play. It is what it is. That sounded personal. That sounded like it had some... Let them play those beta tournaments. I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:12:06 It looked kind of miserable, like watching it. I'm not going to lie. Three, two, six, one. Six to be six. Yeah, and they were queuing for like hours, but I mean, I don't know, I can't knock it. They wanted something. Just that competitive itch. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:19 I'm sure you're excited, though, too, because this is your first year where you're starting the game with, like, as a coach. Yeah. It's like last year, you probably weren't as like... No, I didn't. didn't really feel anything towards it. No, not really. I'm like, oh, new cod.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Now it's like, time to grind. I was like, I mean, shit, I hope the best for you guys. Yeah. Now it's like, let's fucking get into it. No, to what you guys were saying, it was like, you know, I've actually like been enjoying streaming lately. Like, I mean, I didn't play MW3 a whole lot, but like CS. I've actually been loving it.
Starting point is 00:12:50 I want to wake up and play CS every day. I saw you playing yesterday. Yeah, I was going to play all day to day too, but. Yeah. I heard that. I'd watch. Yeah, right. They got everything going, throwing on my mojo. Not counterstrike.
Starting point is 00:13:05 So I'm going to try getting as much as that as I can in because, I mean, when the season starts, I don't even know if I'll be streaming or anything. It's going to be. I'm not going to have time. I'm not going to have any time. Because I can tell you firsthand, whenever you get into the season, you start scrimming and those streams turn off while you're scrimming, you got eight hours before you can even start streaming. That shit's like, you have to be, like, dedicated.
Starting point is 00:13:26 That's why like whenever ant was like grinding, last. That's why whenever Ant was, like, grinding last year, I was, it's, like, impressive because yeah, that much, that much every single day is, it's just a lot. It's a lot of, it's a lot going on. Like, if I were to do it, it'd probably be like how Crowder does. I'm going to have to, like, wake up early. But then the thing is, like, if I'm not playing Cod, it's, like, it's so hard to find people to play with. Yeah. Because, like, I know D-Gens. No D-Gens are up at, like, eight in the morning, seven in the morning. I think it'll be easier in the beginning because eights will be popping. and like that's that's pretty much all the pros play is eights
Starting point is 00:14:00 and then if there's ranked out but ranks not could be out until I believe season one I think season point or something season one reloaded which is like yeah the halfway point of season one it's like January yeah I'm expecting it to drop around when it always drops like February February March at the latest I hope but I'm expecting like February if I that's just what I'm expecting even when the game drops you don't think you'll as a coach you don't think you'll like have time to stream or anything?
Starting point is 00:14:27 I mean, I don't know. I don't even know when the season starts. I don't know when they're to start scrimming. So the game's going to drop. There's going to be like probably two weeks of like kickoff tournaments, like little shit like that. And then they'll probably start screaming. And that's when ever. Hell no.
Starting point is 00:14:40 I guarantee you a week tops before scrimms. A week? A week tops before scrims. I was going to say two weeks. A week? A week. But a game's not even playable right now. Are you guys crazy?
Starting point is 00:14:49 A week tops. Yeah. The game is not playable. I'll play that broken shit. If it starts. I mean, I don't know when it does. Well, think about last year. If it starts in December, early January, which is when it's going to start inevitably.
Starting point is 00:15:01 Yeah, I mean, they can't start it any later than that. People started scrimming three days in last year. Like three or four days in, scrimmed started. Really? Yeah, dude, people start screaming quick now. I don't remember that. As soon as the kickoff tournaments are over, every team is just like, let us start screaming. Because scrimming is fun in the beginning.
Starting point is 00:15:18 Everyone's learning the game. And that's like, there's no actual tournament tournaments until late night after like the first few days, I feel like. I don't do. I'm telling I think it'll be weird. I think the spons are so bad. Oh, dude, the hard point sponsor crazy. I think it's actually unplayable at a competitive level right now. Really? Unplayable.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Is that not to 6B6 now? No, I don't know. Of course. It's going to be dog shit. I feel like we always say that though. And then whenever you learn the spawn system, it's like, you don't think so? Another bad year. No, I just think right now.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Well, I said, I've talked to people who, like, have played, like, fucking at their studios or something. Like playtested. Yeah. I think they. I think they're trying to do something, like, but it's bad. The spawn logic right now, it's bad. I don't even know if there is one. I don't think there is.
Starting point is 00:16:06 That's the problem. Like on a state, whenever you're playing a state, they just keep spawning at the boathouse just over and over and over. I feel like a state's a big map with a lot of room that like it should be pretty easy to be like, okay, nobody's here, spawn them here. It's like not like that time. Isn't that the purpose of the beta? They put that out.
Starting point is 00:16:21 They get that in. But it's never been like that. No, I feel like the purpose of the beta is to. That's what it should be. Put it out I see what's fucked up. Get the information, change it. I think it's the 16th year I've played a beta, I think. I wish I was in the war room.
Starting point is 00:16:34 From 2007, I swear it's never been this bad. I feel like the beta is like a stress test every year. That's a crazy thing to say. Everything else is fine. Wait, did you say it's never been this bad? These are the worst spons since 2007? I swear to God. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:16:47 I'm not joking. I wish I was in that room, like the war room where like they're deciding like certain aspects. Like what was so difficult about the old spawn system that like we're changing it drastically. Like, there's got to be, like, actual reasons. I just want to know why. Like, it's got to be to appeal to, like, the more casual fan base.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Or it's got to be something, like, nude-friendly, where it's like, we don't want these guys getting farmed in spawn trap, so we just made them fucking sporadic. Maybe. So, like, I don't know. I think, like, said, the positive, though, I think there's a lot of positives with this game. TTC is not a lot of shit that they, like, we, like, are like, you know, they need to fix this, change this. It's like, it's a very small list, I think, right now.
Starting point is 00:17:24 TK is honestly, probably my favorite. favorite part of the game right now. I think I think TTCK feels perfect. I think it'll add for a skill gap where it's like games where you get zapped and die quick, the skill gap is just marginally lower because anybody can hit a few shots. Whereas when you look at a game like Black Ops 4, there were like obvious skill gaps because it takes longer to kill people. You got to hit all your shots. Good players have time to react and piss all over your head. I wonder how like TTCK. I wonder how it's going to be when we have all of the like the clothing or the equipment. I don't know what you call them.
Starting point is 00:17:56 The boots and stuff. Yeah, at least what I read it, you know, there's like some weird things. I don't know. That could get really weird, but I don't know. We'll see. I'm hopeful. It's going to be weird, like, finding out the maps. I can't wait to see them decide those.
Starting point is 00:18:11 That's what I'm curious about. They maps with the game modes. I guarantee you there's going to be a few that aren't expected. It's not just going to be high-rise scrapyard terminal, Karachi, and, uh... Oh, yeah. Invasion. The maps just play completely different. Invasion better be in there.
Starting point is 00:18:26 I think invasion will probably be the best one. Invasion for search is a lock. Invasion search is godlike. High rise overrated. Invasion search. Dude, oh my god. On a competitive level,
Starting point is 00:18:34 high rise overrated. Permanental search good. Yeah. Scrap, I like scrap yard a while. I think scrap yard was a good map. You can't play search on it. I mean,
Starting point is 00:18:42 you can play search on it, but it's fucking. Well, because that one. Remember when you could go to the top windows and just snip them off salon? When you just run up the stairs and shoot through the window? You don't like scrapers is also a map
Starting point is 00:18:51 with like how fast you can move now, dude? like that map could be like fucking crazy because it was already crazy. Yeah. Whitewall. I don't know. It's going to be weird. They're going to have to.
Starting point is 00:19:00 I can see Skidrow Heartpoint being in. Hell no. I could see Skidrow Heart Point being in. 4B4. Seattle Hard Point. I mean, if that's in, I'm just glad I'm not playing. Seattle Hard Point.
Starting point is 00:19:08 I'm just glad I'm not playing. I don't know. Skid Row is like fun, but the two story and like how you get funneled into certain areas. I just don't really like it. Well, I'm pretty sure they're going to be releasing like original maps too, like just new maps.
Starting point is 00:19:22 And I, I pray to, pray to fuck those are good because that's my my one worry my one of my few worries is like the old maps is getting stale it's like as cool what it is to see these maps remastered we know these maps at the back of our hand that's why in the beta I was kind of upset because there's only like two or three maps and I'm like I understand previous betas where it's like you only give us a few maps because you don't want to show everything off like we we know all these maps like it's not going to be you're only thinking about yourself right now there's a lot of people that have not What if the maps like don't like work too well with control? Do we see CTF back or no?
Starting point is 00:19:59 Dude, if CTF comes back, I'd be so salty that I didn't play. Dude. Because you know, someone brought it up the other day when I was talking and dude, even Austin was like, dude, I don't know how these maps are going to be like we might have to play CTF. Dude, CTF is like if Litticoat saying that, like that's pretty crazy. I hope to God we get CTF. I hope if we get to watch CTF on those maps, I'll be in challengers full time with you, Bose. I love it. We're playing CTF.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Mark, pull the flag. That's the best flag runner of all time. I've never seen anything like it. Back a day, I got this. You'd be like, what the fuck? Mark's got the flag. You're like, where is he?
Starting point is 00:20:33 No one on the map's dead. It says, Bose. Fragg kill, knife kill. You're like, what? He stamps somebody while running it. He gets a frag kill across the map. It was impressive every time. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:20:47 But overall, I mean, the beta, the beta seemed fun. I liked it. It was solid. We'll see. When the game drops, it's like, I feel like it's going to be so much fun.
Starting point is 00:20:57 At least for a couple weeks. It's going to be so much fun. Just because that hit of nostalgia, we're going to have all of the maps. Starting point is 00:21:24 reduced the slide delay by like 200 milliseconds? No. I think it felt a little better, I think. That had to have been on PC. Like the delay from when you initially press down or if the delay when you like, you don't even know? I don't even know. It looked like people were sliding faster on the PC
Starting point is 00:21:40 beta. Like the slide cancels? It was like a 200 millisecond delay they like removed or something. Yeah. Starting point is 00:26:41 That's a good change. It felt solid, though. I will say, I feel like we did talk about it on the podcast, but, I trust Sledgehammer because I do think Sledgehammer with AW in World War II gave us like two, what the games were, and I'm talking strictly as a competitor, those were good competitive titles, like strictly like fundamentally and I feel like they implemented changes kind of quick. Like Sledgehammer doesn't seem very hardheaded in like their ways where it's like Sledgehammer seems a little more open to changing things quick, which I like because they took battle rage out quick,
Starting point is 00:27:13 which that was pretty drastic. They're changing slide features. Like, I do think Sledgehammer actually really does care about the competitive scene, so I'm excited that they're running this upcoming year because I do feel like, once again, we're going to have this influx of viewership because every year when call of duty drops, it's still call of duty. Everyone wants to play it. Everyone wants to watch it.
Starting point is 00:27:33 We have this influx of viewership. And if they're listening and making changes quick and tweaking things that need to be tweaked, it's only going to make the game better and keep people more involved. The one thing, the one thing that's probably the most important, is anti-cheat. Like there has to be. There won't be. There won't be. Well, it's not. There has to be. Before ranked, there literally has to be. Like, MW2 ranked was
Starting point is 00:27:54 ruined by cheaters to the point where every single lobby was essentially a cheater. I stopped playing it. Dude, Counterstrike sells like 40 million cases like a month. And I'm getting stiff-armed by Derek Henry on overpass. What does that mean? I don't know what the fuck. I think that's a cheating. Derek Henry, there was all their names.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Derek Henry, Mark Sanchez. Like, they were all just fucking running around cheating on me yesterday. What's cheating on Counterstrike? We played that optic Oh yeah. There were two wallers in it. But that's not Premiere.
Starting point is 00:28:24 Well, I was in Premier. And they still were cheating? Yeah. Like we played, that was my first game like playing CS competitive at Holland. That was insane. There was two wallers just dropping 40 on us. Like what are the chances? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Now the anti-cheat though, that shit's not going to happen. You're just going to have to deal with it. I just don't understand how they can't just hire four people and be like, look. It shouldn't be that's not going to happen. Every pro that complains about this person cheating, look into it, like these motherfuckers should be getting banned. Maybe get a few, maybe get four hours of gameplay in, but just banned. No, they do do that. Like, if we, if I message an ID to the right person, at least last year, they'll ban them.
Starting point is 00:29:02 But there's just too many. Well, a lot of the devs would, like, be in the rank play streams too. And like, or if you message them and said, hey, this guy's cheating, they'll come, like, right away. And they'll, they'll, like, they'll see it. And they'll go that guy's obvious to cheat. And they'll ban them in real. time. I think they do need something like that. I don't know like maybe for big creators or like pros like they need some avenue they go to but they as long as it's like they're doing background
Starting point is 00:29:25 checks because like you never know with some people do they may be like nice guy and fucking cheat and you guys are saying like oh they're not going to and like you might be right but like it's literally a must like I don't understand how it's not like known to be 100% we literally need this because it ruins our game. Well they try and it turns people away. Well they need to fuck and try harder. Like they need super ricochet. It is the most important thing going into this year. It makes rank play go from people playing
Starting point is 00:29:52 it for a month instead of like four months. Exactly. So let's knock on what. I'm praying for a good anti-cheon. It's so important. I'm going to have to grind this fucking game so I got something to talk about with this office for the next six months. Yeah. This game is going to
Starting point is 00:30:08 take over this and fire. It's going to develop everything. And then especially when the CDL, dude, when the CDL starts back up, we're back. Like, I can't wait. Oh yeah. Dude, we're gonna be, it's gonna be great.
Starting point is 00:30:17 I'm being challengers fucking. Bose, you got him? No, you won't. Yeah, I will. We will be doing the watch party. You,
Starting point is 00:30:25 Hector, and then Hector already told me after my match, after Optic Nation competes. I'll hold it down. Dude, you guys, you guys low-key should,
Starting point is 00:30:31 like, you should do what I did in Cold War and fuck around and try like a challengers or two. No, no, we are. No, I am. I'm doing,
Starting point is 00:30:39 my goal is to play challengers outside of watch party. So as long as it doesn't conflict with the watch party, I'm going to be like playing challenges cups and all the Those like those like first three We haven't discussed yet We haven't discussed salaries, none of that show.
Starting point is 00:30:52 Dude those those first three like Cold War Churnies I played If this fuck wasn't live I'd have like 10 to 20,000 viewers Oh yeah Like it was insane That's the way it goes though Just getting dope fucking ripping these kids
Starting point is 00:31:06 With the sniper dude it was crazy When I was playing the Cold War Challenger's I only played three Late didn't scrim I was like yo I'm not scrimming Such a high line I'm saying if you weren't live, dude, like, the viewers were fucking insane. Like, they love it. It's such a hive mind, because, like, I remember, like, oh, because we'll just troll too.
Starting point is 00:31:23 We'll, like, take it serious, but then something goes wrong, we're trolling. Yeah. Like, we get clutched on. What the fuck was that? Like, you know. But then you, if you, like, beat some people who are, like, nice right now, dude, they'll be, like, gas in the fuck out of. You're like, you're crazy. I could be dead the whole time.
Starting point is 00:31:39 What the fuck was that? It's raging, but it's, like, funny. I've been watching you. It's trolling. I died first. I got blooded. Zinn, where were you? Dead.
Starting point is 00:31:47 You piece of shit. It's always Zinn, where were you? But no, it's such a high mind in the beginning where it's like, let's say, like, if you had 10K viewers watching you Frye, they would have been Reddit post saying, holy fuck, dude, Damon's got to compete, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. They were they all gassing me. It was great. That's the way it goes.
Starting point is 00:32:02 And it's great. Felt the dope. At least for a little bit. There's nothing better than like, I remember when I played eight after I retired this past year, my first ever eight series and I was like, what the hell? my chat's going crazy, Ans Gassing me up. Like, the amount of dope I felt right there
Starting point is 00:32:17 was like, oh my God, dude. Like, I fucking need it. You were loving it? That's a big news too, by the way. Microsoft acquires Activision, possible MLG return. Dude, I mean, please. Let's fucking...
Starting point is 00:32:32 MLG is not returning if the CDL, HCS. HCS might be more down to, like, allow that. If the CDL's a thing, that's not happening. So, don't get too hopeful. I think it's best to both worlds. I think it's best of both worlds, man. I think CDL, the CDL's original idea of what the CDL should be didn't pan out.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Like they wanted like the super sports-based model, home series, location-based. And like a lot of people hate him for that. I actually, I don't mind the initial attempt. Well, they were just following what Overwatch did as well. Exactly. Like, I think, I don't mind all what the CDL's plan was. Like they wanted to try. CDL's goal was to make this all bigger.
Starting point is 00:33:12 They had sports owners involved, big buy-ins, big money. Players started making a lot more money. So the CDL for players has been a lot better. I'll just put it like that. Which is a great reset has hit this year. Yeah, well, yeah. Now things are starting to go back. But, like, I don't mind.
Starting point is 00:33:25 The initial attempt, I don't mind. I mind, like, being hesitant to revert things like ASAP. Like, I think right now... Well, they can't. People have given them millions of dollars for the model to be like this. Well, not for... They can't just fucking be like, well... It didn't work.
Starting point is 00:33:42 They can do pro-am-style tournaments. They could give money back to the owners, but the owners aren't going to allow that to happen. You don't get what I'm saying. I get what you're saying. No, you don't. They can do 16-team tournaments by pro-ams. All the owners don't argue that. All the owners vouch for that.
Starting point is 00:33:56 They want, like, the old-school model back. Not all. At least if this just happened, though, it wouldn't happen. And if a couple of them say no. Wait, this wouldn't even open-basket. I'm going to tell people that gave $20 million. Because these... Chill out, buddy.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Because these 10 people also gave $25 million. So you two can shut the fuck up. Wait, all that stuff you're talking about, though, I don't think whatever happened for like a year or two anyways. Nothing would happen this year. What, going back to MLG? I don't know. Like anything involved with them would not happen this year.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Yeah. Oh, yeah, no, it wouldn't happen this year. I think if the CDL is a thing, if something happened in the future... Personally, from what I've seen, we will not see an MLG event. Unfortunately, I'd love for it to happen. I would love for old school style tournaments to come back. It would be all go back.
Starting point is 00:34:31 Yeah, I mean, look how hard it is to even just have like any sort of... You can't have an event. You can't even throw a creator attorney with more than two pros on it. Like, what the fuck are we talking about here? I'll tell you what was cool, though. You think they're letting MLG events happen? No. Phil Spencer is the head of Xbox and is now the head of Activision Blizzard.
Starting point is 00:34:47 Like he oversees all of them. Oh, did you high-five him at the event? No, I didn't see him. No, but it was cool to see him there and do like an interview there. I'm pretty sure he lives in Washington. I'm pretty sure Microsoft is based there. But still to see Phil Spencer show up to a Halo event, like that's a good look for e-sports, where it's like... But I also feel like Halo is more connected to, like, Microsoft.
Starting point is 00:35:07 Yeah. And like that than Call of Duty is. Yeah, but that's Halo. That is Microsoft's baby. Yeah, but now Call of Duty is their baby too. It's not their baby. It's they just adopted. It's still their baby now.
Starting point is 00:35:19 I mean, it's not like they want to see Cole of Do. They got it so they can see it flourish. They didn't get it to watch it die. I don't even like get it though. Do they own Activision? How does it work? How does it work? How does it work?
Starting point is 00:35:28 Do they like buy Activision? Like what would even happen? They bought all of Activision Blizzard. So Microsoft. They run the show. 69 billion dollar acquisition. They own everything under Activision. Do you want to tell your story real quick?
Starting point is 00:35:42 Overwatch, call of doing. Maynick, that could be sweet in the future. Yeah, I can tell my story real quick of Seattle. Then I got to hop off because I have a call. That cannot be missed. But yeah, so basically, I'm going to try to keep this as short and sweet as possible. JP's actually here as well. He was involved with it too.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Survivor. But so we just got done taking mine and Isabelle's engagement pictures around the city of Seattle. We went to like a lighthouse. We just went to a bunch of sites in Seattle and took engaging pictures. So JP was. was with us. Shalston was with us, and then we had a driver driving us around from location to location, and is needed to like change. So that's why we had a driver. Stop saying Falka diva. She needed a change in the back seat. She had multiple outfits, all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:36:24 So we're pulling up to dinner afterwards. And J.P. and Shaw are still with us. They were about to, they were about, they were dropping us off and then dropping J.P. and Shaw off after. And we were going to have dinner, me and his, you know, engagement pictures. We were having dinner. So we pull by the Ross for Less, which was on third. Like I said, that place, there was probably 150 homeless people outside of it. And then I, so we were about 15 minutes late for our reservation. So I didn't want to lose it. So I ran in first to like secure the table.
Starting point is 00:36:57 JP and Shaw were outside of the car. Is was changing in the car. The driver was outside the car. And so apparently he walked up to JP and Shaw, threw a pill bottle at them to start. And he had this like butcher's knife like this long. Like there's a butcher's knife. have the video. Like you can see when he hits the window. You can like see it glisten. It's like a fucking,
Starting point is 00:37:14 it's a big ass knife. And so he walks up to the car, circles it a couple times while Is's in it. She's changing in the car and there's a homeless dude with a butcher's knife circling the fucking car. She didn't know if the doors were locked, which if they weren't and he tried to open the door, I mean,
Starting point is 00:37:30 and people are like making a joke out of it. It could have went very bad, very fast. What the fuck? And then he stabbed the front tire of the car, pop the tire. What? And then he's walking past like the restaurant that I'm in trying to get our reservation. I don't know what's going on at this point
Starting point is 00:37:45 because is texted me. Is it a random guy? Yeah, it was just a homeless guy. But is texted me, there's something really scary going on outside shooter. Because she thought there was a shooter because she was like in the car
Starting point is 00:37:58 and all she heard was him hitting the window. Then it was hell aloud. Like he hit the window with a fucking knife. But so he hit the window twice and that was like the first window. Then there was the front door and then the second window where I was at. But so I hear him hit the window and I'm like, what the fuck was that?
Starting point is 00:38:14 And I look at my phone and I'm like, oh shit. So he's walking past the second window where I'm at. And then he just like points the knife at all three of us. And he just like keeps walking down the street, points it in again, keeps walking down the street. And there's like ladies on the street just like, there's like people on the street. And they're like not even reacting. And he's just walking by him with this big ass knife. And then JP after he was like down the street, JP and Shaw like ran after him or JP,
Starting point is 00:38:40 whoever, JP and the GM, whoever it was. They ran down the street after to make sure he didn't get away and they saw where he went. And then the cops came, tased him, got him in the car. Dude, it was crazy. He'd shoot his ass. It was literally crazy. But like, that's really the story.
Starting point is 00:38:57 Tell his driving in front seat, running his ass over. From each perspective, it was insane because Iz is in the car trapped with him circling it. I'm inside not knowing what's going on. I get a text that there's a shooter. Like, it was just, It was just, it was horrifying. And it is like, we didn't even end up eating dinner there.
Starting point is 00:39:14 She didn't want to eat there. She's like, I just want to go back to the hotel. And I was like, okay. So it ruined our engagement picture night. We still got good pictures, but yeah, it was definitely super sketch. Meanwhile, at least all parties are safe. That is insane. What?
Starting point is 00:39:29 What? You're making jokes. It's hilarious. Dude, you're upset of me and Hector for making jokes. Anything. But in the begin, like, when we first got the text, all you sent was the video. So Seth sent us a video of the guy with the knife
Starting point is 00:39:43 Like hitting a window It's already pretty fucking sketchy No but from our perspective Like you just took a video of a guy from down the street Who took the video? You JP? Like, so like that was the scope of it Like we just received the video with no context Of a homeless guy hitting a window with the knife
Starting point is 00:39:57 So we just figured you were on the street And you took a video of it So we start fucking around Once we realized that it was a serious thing We didn't make jokes We like I didn't know what was he saying He was yelling some shit
Starting point is 00:40:08 But I was inside so I couldn't hear it What are any of them saying? Fighter flight? Fighter flight mode. Yeah. Yeah, it was fucking sketchy. Everyone that was there thought it was sketchy. I mean, obviously people are going to joke about it, but it was not a fun situation.
Starting point is 00:40:22 If you were there, that sounds definitely scary. It was sketch. If he opens the door and Is is in there, it's like... If I was the person in the car, I'd freak the fuck out. Yeah, Iz was like traumatized. She was like, it was sketchy. But other than that situation, Seattle was cool, but I got to go take a call. All right, man.
Starting point is 00:40:39 Those you want to hop on? Oh my God. Over time. Mark. Play a song, Jewish song. Here he comes. No, he's starting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:51 That's why you stay strapped everywhere. 15 minutes or something. Yeah. That's why you stay strapped everywhere? You do? If you were to shoot him, would that be allowed? Like, say you're in the car
Starting point is 00:41:04 and he's fucking slashing your tire. I don't know. You get his gun at him. I do not. He opens the door, yeah. He opens the door, yeah. Yeah, not like, but what if you get out, like, get the fuck away from my car? No, car.
Starting point is 00:41:15 You can drive off. You can drive off. Like, you have your choice to drive off. You can get away. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know any. If you can avoid it, then. I saw another woman, like, like, I guess it's a taser, just one of those, like,
Starting point is 00:41:30 going up to some homeless dude was just, like, all in her face. And she just started, like, scaring him with that. Like, I always said this, and I stand by it. I rather get shot before I get stabbed. I'm not getting stabbed. Straight up. Getting shot just, I don't know what's worse.
Starting point is 00:41:44 That is so scary. I would prefer neither happen to me ever. Yeah, obviously. But I'm saying, bro, I do not, bro, his knife is scary as hell. Like,
Starting point is 00:41:55 ah, how I try to. Yeah, but like, what's going to make you, like, bleed out more? I just want to, whatever.
Starting point is 00:42:01 I don't want that dirty. However I can survive the best is what I want. Yeah, whether it be gunshot. Through the other side. And that's in the patch up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:10 I mean, like imagine getting like stabbed in your neck or something shit. Exactly. It's what I'm saying. Okay. Fuck that. Dude. The knife.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Yeah, Seattle was, I don't know if it's always been like that, but I don't remember it being like that. Apparently it's gotten a lot better. They were saying a lot of the homeless have moved like 40 miles away. But I was like, I think just in that particular area downtown, it's pretty bad. But. Where we were literally. Yeah. I remember walking around Seattle, bro.
Starting point is 00:42:41 It smelled great. Like, everyone was chilling. Unless I'm delusional or I have memory loss, last year of Seattle was like, I didn't have a single complaint about it. I'm just not sure if we were even. When we went back in the day, it was like,
Starting point is 00:42:57 I forgot what we went for. It was like, oh, so yeah, I guess that place, Third Avenue is just not a safe place. Yeah, third avenue is the worst.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Some shit, we went there for, I think it was like a... Four times as much crime. Oh, yeah. No, it was just like, it was bad, but it was like more like homeless people just doing drugs in the open. I mean, that's kind of what it was, but then it was like,
Starting point is 00:43:19 random people were screaming on third. Between Pine and Pike. It was like zombie land. Yeah, it's pretty bad. I mean, that's three years, but that's still a lot of shit. Yeah, like compared it to Dallas to where like Seattle was, Dallas, it's just like they ask for money and that's it. But over there, it's just like, I don't even, none of it's, them asked me for money they just like look at you fucking like freak you out like they were just
Starting point is 00:43:47 on mars i guess it's just like it's a huge they're just all doing drugs they were all fucked up well i'm pretty sure it's legal there i'm pretty sure i'm pretty sure it's like one of those places where like they'll legally also administer it so they called i give you the needles and shit right like they'll like go to a place you can go to a place and they'll i think it's safe for you yeah because i guess in their their their thoughts processes it'll stop ODs, I guess. I mean, how, though. I mean, it's just like if they're going to do drugs regardless,
Starting point is 00:44:19 so that's trying to make them do it as safe as possible. Someone told me that. I could be wrong. I know Vancouver had that. I remember learning about it when I was in school. Like safe place for them to go. Which, I guess like they're going to do it regardless, so they want to help them make it safer.
Starting point is 00:44:37 If that's true, because someone in Seattle told me that. That is insane. I don't want to be speaking misinformation. Wait, what is it? Past a bill that decriminalized the possession of a small amount. Dude, those are like some pretty bad things. So in Oregon, you can legally have a small amount of heroin, methamphetamines, cocaine, fentanyl. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Three years later, public drug use has wearied even the most tolerant of Oregonians. Oregonians. Wait, what does it mean? Wary. Like, it's gotten better? gotten worse since they like made it legal yeah
Starting point is 00:45:12 hell yeah people probably think they could just do whatever now I want to know like when I think about it they announced some shit like that well we motherfuckers just automatically assume it's legal bro if Dallas like in 2020 if Dallas announces like you can just buy Adi off the streets like
Starting point is 00:45:25 I would have been I would have been like fuck yeah or they invent some new shit like I can only imagine what these fucking people are thinking like fentanyl like I can legally have fentanyl now I want to well I don't want to know but like when they're just like slouched over like
Starting point is 00:45:42 like literally standing up but leaning down it's like what feeling are they going through that's big timer William Johnson's here I just saw him walk out of the door well god damn what is that feeling that they're feeling that has to be amazing no one wonders this like
Starting point is 00:46:01 oh I mean yeah I mean surely in the lean dude this has taken a deep dive and I think we have some things we have to do so we might want to wrap this up. Are we good to go? Yeah, boy, it's crazy. What time we're going on? I think it's 12-09.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Logan Paul beats Dylan Danis. Does anyone care? I mean, that was like... That was a beat down. That shit was awful. That was just a money grab, dude. KS. I versus Tommy Fury. I was boring.
Starting point is 00:46:27 It's crazy how much they get paid for this shit. Oh, yeah. Six rounds of just like no damage being done. They did 1.3 million buys. 1.3 billion they bought that? I heard that was not true but I think $80 million.
Starting point is 00:46:41 I do believe that it was probably the most Got to think They're not getting 50 The most pirated pay-per-view KSI definitely got 20% 25 Logan got 25
Starting point is 00:46:52 Yeah but I doubt it's all based off that too There's probably sponsors involved Or like there's probably like He came out like a fucking Lamborghini or something They're getting a percent of it I'm saying they're getting more than that too Like they're getting a percent of the pay-view And then more on top
Starting point is 00:47:04 and, oh yeah, oh, yeah. So they're, they probably... 20 million each? Easily. Damn. That's crazy. Damn. Tommy Fury says he wants no more parts of the shit.
Starting point is 00:47:13 No wonder, Dylan Dennis was in the club that night. Oh, yeah. Looking unfazed. Be so embarrassed. I wouldn't go outside. I would be embarrassed until I realize I'm now a millionaire. Oh, yeah. He probably made like four or five million.
Starting point is 00:47:26 It's great. He's definitely. That's amazing. That's nice. And he's been inactive and shit. That's not a bad payday. He was. He just made all his cans.
Starting point is 00:47:35 I don't even know who the fuck he is. I don't know where he came from. Like I apparently he's a jujitsu guy, but it's like what has he? Well, no, he's. He's a good graphic. If I was Dean White, I would immediately say, all right. You obviously want to be in the UFC. You got all this.
Starting point is 00:47:51 We saw what you just did to sell a fight. I'd give him a fucking fight. Yeah. I would. Yeah, to be honest. Dylan Dennis, I'd give him a fight. As much as I like, some, I don't. There's something I don't like about the guy, but give him a chance.
Starting point is 00:48:04 I mean, he just literally promoted this whole thing. The only thing he did was talk shit about this guy's wife for like months. Yeah, that is, that is, sure. That is, like, I don't even know if, like, if it comes to another person. But, like, I don't know. That's a boundary. Like, if he's fighting another fighter, what's he going to say? Like, go after his wife, like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:48:24 It just seemed very convenient for him to. I don't even know he was from Jersey. I also, he is. He's old buddy, he said, we need back to Jersey or a dead man. Really? He's from Jersey? He's a really good grappler, apparently. Like, apparently boxing's not his strong suit,
Starting point is 00:48:43 but if it was like a UFC fight, if it was a UFC fight, I mean, if you fight in the UFC against someone who's good at jihitsu, they're going to fuck you up. Like, you can't just go, like, grapple against a jitzut. Yeah. But there's definitely ways around it. I mean, if Logan Paul trained for a year, Logan Paul's done wrestling.
Starting point is 00:49:01 He can either take the fucking pro-chie. to Parcipany. He's got a little, he got an approach. He could either do another boxing match for someone. His jiu-jitsu. Hey, go, he was in Bellator. He was like the money to fund his UFC career and get it going. No, he should be in UFC.
Starting point is 00:49:19 I think he should do some UFC shit. Try to sell a fight there. Well, no, he wasn't the UFC, wasn't it? No, he's in Bellator. What was he in? Bellator. I'm sure, Connor, bro. Connor could get this guy in there.
Starting point is 00:49:29 He's only had like four fights. Joe Lozon. Like, you got Connor Regerger. You're going to get a fight. He can get a fight. I saw one of his UFC fights and he just like went to the ground with someone, put him in a fucking arm bar or something and it was just over. I can't even blame the guy.
Starting point is 00:49:45 Like I was watching, we watched a bit of the fight on the watch party. And he was like barely throwing punches. I'm like, this is just such a money grab where it's like. Fuck yeah. Oh yeah. Like these guys, these guys don't give a fuck. Once you're getting paid this much, unless you're like, there's a difference between like people I think that are getting into it now
Starting point is 00:50:01 compared to like people who grew up boxing. If you grew up boxing, you're boxing because you're a fucking boxer. Whereas, like, if you just do a one-off boxing fight, it's like there's an obvious reason for it. Like, this guy's about to make a bag. It looks like all his jujitsu stuff was like 10 years ago. Logan's huge. Yeah. That guy is ginormous.
Starting point is 00:50:19 I guess he's definitely on steroids, but like, God damn, he's fucking big. His body fat percentage is probably insane, too. It looks like he had no fat. Dylan definitely set himself up, though, to like. That shit pisses me off to see. get something else after this that shit infuriated too this promotion was so good
Starting point is 00:50:36 I hate seeing people big like this Bill like this I hate I get pissed off Low body fat huge taller than me Way more than me I mean this is this is how I'm trying to fucking get to me dude
Starting point is 00:50:47 I'm 5 8 That's how I'm trying to fucking get But my diet shit You gotta think he's in the WWWB bro He has He's got nutritionists I mean brother He has the best access to everything
Starting point is 00:50:59 You got that much money He actually puts his mind to it I would like to see what his testosterone levels are at. That guy, like, I walk into the store and I see, like, cut up fruit. I'm like $12. I walk past it. That guy fucking. I'll take all the fruit you got.
Starting point is 00:51:11 They're probably eating clean as fuck every day, training like crazy. Chefs. Like chefs. Nutritionist, blood work. Two workouts a day. Activist fuck. That's a different world, man. That's how I'm trying to look, but.
Starting point is 00:51:24 That's why. He and Jake could have a fucking, I mean, next brother. You got to set a goal like that. You got to go fight. and then you won't because if you know you're about to be on camera fighting
Starting point is 00:51:34 you're gonna stick to it well I would get shredded I mean not get shredded for the fight and how to look a certain way but just like to lose weight yeah I mean I feel like that's the only
Starting point is 00:51:44 you need to get shredded to about yeah no you really don't but no look at I feel like I would because I want to I want to fight a small motherfucker
Starting point is 00:51:52 that guy's ginormous you want to fight someone like me yeah I'll get down to your way where are you at 170 right now I think I could get down to, like, I think, 185, 180.
Starting point is 00:52:05 That'd be like where KSI and shit's at it, wasn't it? Guinea as hell, you're gonna get, you don't want that. I'm getting knocked out. You don't want to be trained that bad. Yeah. I mean, I don't know how this shit works. I don't know what, like, people would advise. Butterbean.
Starting point is 00:52:20 Butterbean didn't give it shit. He probably tried to gain weight. Butter bean. Butter. Butter. Oh, man. Man. Is that going to do it? Everyone to look at each other.
