Starting point is 00:00:00 Dude, I would lose my mom. Listen, listen, listen, listen. Referee, meet your mic, please. Fair enough game. He's playing Phase Clan. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to episode 164 of the Optic Podcast. This episode is brought to me by Cheez-It, Very Heel, and Do. And we'll tell you a little bit more about them later on in the podcast while we let maniac who's been hitting the gym.
Starting point is 00:00:33 Y'all, this is what happened. Earlier as he sat down, he unscrewed it so that it would fall so that he can have a moment of flexing his muscles. Look at him. I don't doubt that. He goes to the gym for a week straight and he's flexing. I'm only on week two. And quite frankly, I know y'all are sick of, I'm sick of talking about it.
Starting point is 00:00:52 I can't stay committed. I've just accepted for the rest of my life. I'm going to work out for three months and then it's over. And then I'll just black off. It's been three weeks now. I still have, I don't know what's wrong with me, but I still have this, like, sick fantasy. I was like, I'm just, I'm jacked, I'm shredded, I'm tatted, I grow two inches, like. It's not happening.
Starting point is 00:01:11 But it's just so hard. And I'm like, I haven't come to terms with that won't happen because I still feel there's a chance. But I mean, it's like, it's been 15 years. Well, how old are you? 32. Okay, so it's only going to get tougher. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 00:01:29 And, you know, you're going to start losing, look at me, right? I'm disintegrating right before your eyes. he do look tiny today Thank you Well it's not That's fat Yeah Thank you
Starting point is 00:01:40 Yes thanks Thank you thank you Thank you thank you Tiny plus fat Is that what you say Thank you Thank you Yeah that's
Starting point is 00:01:47 I too have Think about this man To give up tacos Give up beans Food is hard To give up rice I think I can do the gym
Starting point is 00:01:56 I feel like I need the gym Just to like stay sane A little bit Feel productive Like It just gives me like a free On the day is what I always say like even if I had a shit day I'm a lazy sack of shit I'm just not feeling it my mental health you get that pump though yeah you get a little
Starting point is 00:02:13 pump you get a mental health you get a little pump you get a little pump you hit the gym you you actually push yourself you just like I don't know I feel better afterwards then I think I like need that I just need that little bit that little w food food I don't know. Even last night I had my girl made cookies so I had like three cookies then a little bit with chocolate
Starting point is 00:02:43 milk and then literally probably an hour and a half later I had a brown sugar cinnamon pop tart with chocolate milk fire and it was like neither then like neither time was I hungry you were just like bored yeah I shit three times this morning
Starting point is 00:03:01 I usually do two But were you under the influence of anything? Or you just were fucking... Yeah. Actually, I had a borderline, not panic attack last night. But I smoked last night. And yesterday, I wanted to talk about this on the pot. I smoked last night.
Starting point is 00:03:19 And yesterday I tweeted, I was like, a fakesist member in Optic. Yeah. And I put like, Seth, Bose, Zinny Hitch. And of course, everyone voted for Zinni. And, but it, like, popped off. And, like, hell of people were, like, like just replying and shit.
Starting point is 00:03:36 And then like how the like grimlins came out of nowhere and started like talking shit to Zinney. Oh boy. And it got like, I think it almost had like half a million views and like almost like 40,000 votes. Like I was like this shit. Like I thought like that's why you had a pay. Bro, I thought like I expected it was just like some random shit.
Starting point is 00:03:55 I thought like I've made random polls like that before and I like barely get attention. Like no one cares, whatever. But like this one. called on and like Zinney was just getting fucking verbally annihilated like it got to the point where people were saying like maniacs fucked up for this yeah and I was like but the thing is I tweeted it and I didn't look at it I did like the sponsored stream I don't know it's just like distracted never looked at the tweet and then like later that night I smoked and then I laid down and looked at it and then I saw like saw all this shit and you feel like scump replied and he was like damn this or
Starting point is 00:04:34 this poll was crazy. Hitch replied. He was like, this poll was great. Like, and I was like, I was like, wait, is this one of those moments where I'm like not self-aware? Like they're sitting back and they're saying like, why the fuck would he tweet that? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, I was like overthinking that. I was, I was kind of losing my mind. I like, at first I texted Hitch. I texted Hitch. I texted Hitch. I texted Bose. Like, yo, we good? I was like, yo, was this fucked up? Like, I'm like, I'm losing my mind over here. because people were adding me and they were like, what they say? Or they were just saying like maniacs.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Man, you're not going to bring it up for us? Oh, I deleted the tweet. Oh, I did see it. I did see it. I did see it. I deleted the tweet. I did, listen, I voted for the, I voted for. I voted for myself and I was still winning.
Starting point is 00:05:21 I voted for Seth just because I knew that the least amount of people were going to say that, just to see like where was saying. And I saw Methodist win it. I'm like, oh, man. And I did it. Method's had like 50%. Yeah, yeah, 52. The thing there, though, is that like, it's, I know how you've done it before on the watch
Starting point is 00:05:44 party. And it's not like I'm saying who's the most hated in optic. I'm saying who's the fakesest in optic? That has like no substance. Yeah, yeah. It doesn't, who's the fakes in optic? It really got 40,000 votes. But yeah, people were, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:58 It like popped off randomly. like all the, a lot of like ex-cod pros or whatever, like Clacer and Aix and a lot of people were just chiming in on it. What were they saying? People were, I think Clacer said like, this is the easiest vote of my life. I guess he voted for Zinn or something. And then Ake said like, damn, the people really know their stuff or something. I've done. People were saying like maniac or maniac's weird as fuck for that and like tagging me and I was, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Did you? You felt a little bit bad? Yeah, Texas Zin. I was like, yo, my bad. Like, I don't, I didn't know. And I saw Zin tweeted like that, that emot that goes like. Yeah. And then people were replying like, yo, don't worry about that poll.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Yeah. I saw all of that. And it just not smoked right before. So it just made me like go into this like kind of a little freak out. And I like text it's in. I was like, oh, my bad. Like I noticed like how look people start coming at you. Like I don't even.
Starting point is 00:06:59 remember what I said to him, but I basically apologize. Because I like know he got, he just started getting fucking verbal. In the mentions from a tweet, I'd like, heavy. I know he I'm assuming he's like good with the hate. Not that he brings it on himself, but like he
Starting point is 00:07:17 trolls about it as well. Yeah, yeah. He calls himself the anticlick. Yeah. Here's proof that he isn't that. Yes. So I know he's not like crying over it. But it might have, I don't know. I just felt may have fucked up his night. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Maybe. I would have smashed some cookies or something too after that. To be honest, I wouldn't have to be like what the fuck? Like I got it. As I was saying, I apologize. Yeah, no. But you didn't like, just like directed hate at it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:45 But it didn't come from a negative place from you. Not at all. No. Because you know, when I saw that. When I saw that, when I saw that, I'm like, oh, he must have gotten kicked out of the of the streaming team for that one day or some. Right. So that sort of thing. And also like I've done that on the watch party before and people do go a little bit too far and not they're the ones that are not self-aware.
Starting point is 00:08:05 I'll be like, who'd win in a fight chat? Zini or scump? And everybody's obviously like scum, scum, scum, scum. He's like, well, I know who they're going to fucking vote for. Like, you know, that sort of thing. And that never comes from a malicious place, right? Also, also, it is, you know, Zin is the newest member of Optic, right? Like, he's, if I wasn't to like, I wasn't even throwing a jab.
Starting point is 00:08:26 I know. Like I was including him because I like him. Yeah, yeah, of course. You didn't include me because why? Well, I was going to include you. There was not enough for a room. That might have been crazy. People were like, why didn't, why didn't you include yourself?
Starting point is 00:08:42 All my mentions were, I knew Moneybee was going to win. Yeah. Oh, because you were released? Oh, you were a little bit. I felt bad. I had a little. Oh, that's what you meant by win. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Okay. Yeah. Not in the good way. Yeah, the good way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Got it, got it. That was my fucking. That's a crazy night, bro.
Starting point is 00:09:03 Yeah, that's crazy. I deleted, texted him, apologize. Like, I couldn't go to sleep. Yeah, no, you know what's crazy about that is that that is one of the, one of the medicinal practices for me with cannabis. Is that like, I like to, and I say it, I like, I like to reset my, my paranoias. Yeah. When, when you're in that state.
Starting point is 00:09:24 date. For me, it's mostly when it's an Indica or like an Indica dominant hybrid that I get like those those little hints of negativity and and all that. Hence, I get overwhelming negativity and paranoid. I go out of my way to put myself in those positions where just like if everything's going to go wrong, what, where are the potholes essentially as I'm driving down this road? It really will make you think about life like from a different perspective. Like you're outside of yourself and you're like, yeah. So what I like to do is I like to write them down, right?
Starting point is 00:09:58 See, I don't. See, no, you should. That's like you have you have to though. In my opinion, you have to because that's a really quick way to sort of re-center yourself and say those are just bad thoughts. Like thinking about them logically and arguing against them. So when you're sober, you don't look at them and think like, oh, this is reality and this is. No, no. And I've done that like a lot.
Starting point is 00:10:21 like uh you know obviously um and and i just like with logic i have answers for everything and i write them down and then i fucking look at them and i'm like okay like for me it might be unhealthy like i don't know what happens inside of my body like when stressed like what i what it does to my to my intestines my heart you know that sort of thing yeah but for my mental afterwards it's really fucking relieving i'm just like well just give it give me everything that could go wrong right now it's relieving when you break down what could go wrong experience the negative, but like battle through it? Well, no, not battle through it.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Like, just, just, I just go through. Examine it? Yeah, I just go through a process of examining it. And it's like, I don't know, I've always done that. Always, my entire life I've always done that. You really like write, like, you'll experience like some negative thoughts and you'll start writing shit down. Well, no, those thoughts, not my thoughts around those thoughts.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Like that very specific thing I write down. And then the following day, I'm just like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Or even later that night when I like, you know, go go watch a show or have dinner or whatever. Like I'll come back. See, this is why I stop smoking. I don't want to deal with this shit. Yeah. It's too much, but I have to.
Starting point is 00:11:32 I don't know. It's so annoying, man. I used to love it. Would you rather be, would you really be caught off guard? Oh, bro. Summer 2015? It was all day all night. But what happened?
Starting point is 00:11:43 I don't know. Huh? What, like, why? I'm still in there. I guess I'm, I know. Pose is still in it. He's fucking loves his shit. Do you get panic attacks during it?
Starting point is 00:11:52 Only time that, the only thing that happens to me is like, let's just say if I, like, over smoke, I'll kind of feel like I'm getting like a fast, heartbeat and just like tweaking in my mind. But I'm not thinking, like, I'm going to die. No, in those moments, though, those are the, that's like when I. Yeah, my natural instincts kicking. I'm like tweaking. Like, I hear something I look.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Yeah, yeah. But, like, I'm not like in my mind. Like, but I told you, the only thing that happens is like when I'm parking late at night home, I'm like, I'll fuck a hops out of one of these cars. I'm a shit. myself. I would just die like a cat. Dude, I swear like I used to be like that.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Like I used to, when I was like 17, 18, I used to smoke, go to work. On my lunch break, smoke, go back in. I was like cash. I was a cashier dealing with just people at a grocery store, dealing with people like left and right. And I have no, I don't know what happened. I don't know if like, I don't know. I can't say it's like if I just like gained awareness about the world and started
Starting point is 00:12:49 and fucking like wondering what the fuck's going on. Like I really just don't know. Or I don't know if it's, it started. I noticed when I was probably like 21 or something, I would smoke and then I would start getting like a little paranoid. But it's almost like I didn't even know what that feeling was. And then I went to a T-O-N and had my first like full-blown panic attack. What?
Starting point is 00:13:14 T-L-N. T-L-N, the LA Network. Where if you guys don't know, it's where. That just brought back like a flood of memories. All the Halo teams used to go to this dude's house in Chicago, Mr. Pee. Pinocchio. Yeah, the Pinocchio's in his house. And they had much better weed than not.
Starting point is 00:13:33 See, I had the Hagerstown Brown. And then I went there and they had some shit from Chicago. The Shaitown Brown? And I smoked that and it's just fucking freaked out. Like I thought I was going to die. I literally came to the terms that I was like my heart. like I could die here. I was like, should I go to the hospital?
Starting point is 00:13:51 Like my heart was beating crazy. I'd people feel in my chest and be like, what the fuck? And I'm just like, oh, so it really was doing Adderall at the same time doing those? Yeah, I was on Adderall. Not that you need Adderall to create that when you smoke or when you get into it. I mean, Adderall will create like heart palpitations as well and just makes you. But then you feel it more when you smoke the weed.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Oh, yeah. I mean, I felt everything. You're just more aware. Think about everything tastes better. Like, everything feels better. waiting to die. Listen, everything tastes better. Everything feels better when you're, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:22 and this is not a PSA for you guys to go and pick up anything or go do anything. I'm just, that is how I explain weed to people that have never smoked. It just amplifies anything you're feeling. So good food tastes better, good music sounds better, but like it will amplify the negative. Bad moments feel bad, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:38 It kind of just feels like when you're like super tired, like you're like, not like dozing off tired, but like the hour before you're about to go to sleep. I'm just like in a troll laughing. mood like giggly and that's kind of how it is you're hungry as fuck you just want to eat everything unless you post a poll on twitter and then 40,000 people respond to 500,000 you're like this one you're saying your friend into depression yeah right you post me I win in the bad
Starting point is 00:15:08 win and I just missed a podcast today even even the drive here this morning when I there's traffic there's a hov lane I don't even know what that stands for Do we know what? I think that's if you get, if you have a passenger, right? Like if you're like like a passenger
Starting point is 00:15:22 to work, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's who it's for. But, but there was hell of traffic. So you got, and I was already late
Starting point is 00:15:28 so I hit that shit. It was a no man's land. Like no one else was on that shit. Watch this. And I was skipping, I was skipping all the traffic. But like, it put me on the,
Starting point is 00:15:40 like, I'm driving this way. Yeah. Or the roads this way. The other cars are coming this way. And it's putting me right beside the other cars coming this way. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:47 And like, the side was kind of high up, and I just see, like, a huge tractor trailer coming around the, like, I thought I was on the wrong side of the road. Yeah. Well, the reason it was a nomads is because of the expensive fines that they give you when you break.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Oh, really? No, no, I was just sort of panic you. Instead of, like, normally going under, like, on the highway, like, cents is probably like $250, $350. Really? Worth the risk. You know me? I took, you took that shit?
Starting point is 00:16:11 Oh, dang. Well, you got tests. I took it. I was scared. I thought I was on the wrong side of the road. No, that has a lot. I used to think that too. I'm like, why is no one taking this?
Starting point is 00:16:20 Until I figured it out, like, these motherfuckers better not have that. Like, it better not be open on this side one. It's the other way. Oh, yeah. That's how you determine me. You know what I'm saying? They wouldn't do you like that.
Starting point is 00:16:30 No. No, no. That would be really, really, really bad. Uh, CDL ref was washing dishes during the game. You just like I did. Dude. What? Actually?
Starting point is 00:16:41 What was he doing? You didn't see it? Yeah, he got me? Got me? I got me. I got to see a bitching guy. Yeah. Dude, I would lose my mom.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Listen, listen, listen. Referee, meet your fucking mic, please. They're in a fucking game. He's playing Phase Clan. Oh my, my, God. No, this was... They're playing Fingers. Wait, why does this say after Texas and Los Angeles Thieves?
Starting point is 00:17:09 Just all things. Let's not be distracted by that. I want to hear it because I want to hear, what does he say? Referee, meet your fucking Mike. Meet your fucking mic You know that refree, meet your fucking mic, please. Grasimbing up fire, tough fire, tough fire, how are we? Oh, you hear the ref came.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Like, the ref. Like, the refs found out they could hear shit and probably. It's hard drop. As soon as he said, referee, meet your fucking mic. Yeah. Ref's standing there with like, not watching the match. Wireless headset doing dishes.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Yeah, yeah. Not reffing. Yeah, well, the thing, bro, what do you expect them to do? Right? They, they went from 72 ESports employees. But I said they got a multitask. Now you've got to watch dishes.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Now you have to do a whole bunch of shit. That is a good point. You know what I'm saying? Like it's not, it's, and you know what I'm saying. Neither here nor there. It's just, it makes, it's, it's, it's, it just, it's just, I mean, it's the state of the game right now. I mean, NYS. This is the state of the game right now.
Starting point is 00:18:07 This is the state of the game. I'm not. The state of Call of Duty. I mean, I didn't just make up that a ref was washing dishes during a fucking match. That literally just like, this is, this is what's wrong. This is what's wrong with like today's reality, right? Like everything is so absurd. Everything that's going on is so fucking wild that it, you're desensitized to it or desensitized to it.
Starting point is 00:18:31 Where you're just like, eh, like me saying it's like, this is the state of the game. You laugh. Like, ah, ha, ha, is the state of the game. It sounds goofy. It literally just like, we just witnessed it. And we, we shouldn't just brush it off as if it's. I mean, yeah, I would have been pissed about that. Um, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:46 And again, this is not, this is not no. blame on anyone, especially not the ref, right? Dishes do need to be washed at a certain point. And he ain't got nothing. What's he going to? Maybe not during the match. Actually. Is there like a rulebook to what they ref?
Starting point is 00:19:01 Like, what do they watch for? Probably like just if there's a dispute in the game. Yeah, if somebody calls out like, like, ref my controller, my controller, my controller, my controller. And then the ref goes and like, you know, pauses it. And then writes down the report as to what happened. And then at the end of the week, we get a report saying like, oh, this match started late because of this, or this stopped,
Starting point is 00:19:18 because of this and they can fix and blah blah but you know oh the halos have been around the corner i didn't even realize yeah yeah march 15 to the 17th i've been watching a little halo lately who's the who's the top dogs we still the still phase phase yeah once a who is it renegade royal two snake bite frosty oh that's phase now once they drop lethal and they started a little slow but once they drop lethal and picked up lethal and picked up renegade. I was like, man, they're going to be nasty. But then they got like fourth, third, second. I was like, okay, maybe not. But then now it's just, it seems like they're,
Starting point is 00:19:57 they've caught their stride. And I would say by far the best, like, first of all, how is complexity higher seed than us? I didn't know that. I would, I'm, I mean, I'm still saying where it's still a top, the top three teams are phase SSG and us. But phase is looking really good. She's looking really good. I guess. Who did Lethal go to play for? Lethlethal's playing for Sentinel's actually. Who does APG play for?
Starting point is 00:20:25 He didn't even make pool play. What team did he play with? It's like him. He has a pretty good team, too. Him collect Mickwin and Barcode. I don't know. I heard of Micklellan. Yeah, they're like, I look at that team and I was like,
Starting point is 00:20:36 oh, they'll be pretty good. Like, they could probably, like, randomly get, like, a top four or something. Like, they could be nasty. But apparently on the Cups or the online. Cups, they're not doing too good. So, APG went from a top two, top three team to not making
Starting point is 00:20:52 pool played. That fucking sucks. But I mean, I still think, so now they're playing through open bracket at this event. And if there's someone you don't want to play in open bracket, it's APG. Like, he's just,
Starting point is 00:21:06 he's probably going to shit on everybody. They're probably going to shit on everyone. So I don't know, hopefully they do well. I did not know we were fifth seed, though. Yeah, I was about to say, Who did we pick up and place APG? I can't read the. Penguin?
Starting point is 00:21:19 Okay. Now, no, it's dead zone. Yeah. Now notice dead zone. I want to hear, if you want to learn about him, watch my eaves rod podcast with him. Oh, you just had one? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:27 He too comes from the, uh, from the UPS. From Juarez? Uh, no. No. No. Can you imagine just blonde dude? Fucking six, six foot three blonde dude out of Juaritos? Wait, is he tall?
Starting point is 00:21:39 He's not that tall, is he? No. But he is tall. He's taller than you. Bigger than you? Faster than you? stronger, better looking, better in Halo for some reason?
Starting point is 00:21:49 I don't know about better at Halo, but everything else. People think I'm short? I'm like... People think you're short? They're like, damn, Bose, I didn't know you were this tall. I think people just always expect like 5-9, 5-10. I hear it at like every event. Damn, you're taller, I thought. This team was ultimately going to be a fucking contender
Starting point is 00:22:07 regardless. They were a contender before with lethal, obviously with a new... Renegade, potentially the best in the game. Yeah? I would say Wait, did I see him beefing with someone? Probably.
Starting point is 00:22:22 With you? Probably Motsker or allowing or something. I could have sworn Maybe I'm chirping. I could have sworn he had a Spartan the dog always beefing on.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Their arguments are hilarious. Spartan the dog and flame sores. They'll tweet each other by not tagging
Starting point is 00:22:41 each other anything. The most random shit. but like I'm still in the dog's head and yeah little pebble going like a pup
Starting point is 00:22:51 or something somehow Mike's flame starts so it's like beef in the halo community Jesus
Starting point is 00:22:59 Christ that's funny it's so hilarious I can't picture Mike having beef for anybody in the halo community
Starting point is 00:23:05 no Mike right somehow yeah he's like he's a piece that's me either that's what you imagine but like
Starting point is 00:23:12 he's an argument there's I think he just, I think he's an arguer. Yeah. I don't know that we know. Bows knows. Yeah. Because like, yeah, like what he would do, what I would hear out of you to is like what he would
Starting point is 00:23:23 apparently do. I feel like I never really saw it. But like people always had something to say about flame. Really? Yeah. Well, not people didn't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's on their fucking mind.
Starting point is 00:23:36 But like they were, there would be like words said about Mike. What? That's crazy. He likes to play a devil's advocate. Like if you say something as a fact, like he'll just challenge whatever he said just for the sake of challenge. He'll go on Google right there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:53 Well, says. Yeah. Like if Mike disagrees with something, he'll like say it. He won't just like let it slide or. And then, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:02 No, he's good. That's hilarious. I can't, because I can't picture it. It's like. I didn't realize it either until I like team with them. And then I would,
Starting point is 00:24:11 I'd notice it more. And then even since. retiring like I've noticed it he's like still somehow beef him with people on Twitter and like you wouldn't expect that at all with like how like chili is but what the hell it's hilarious
Starting point is 00:24:26 this guy Bose and Mike were arguing at the what was it the MGM lobby and shit I don't even know what it was but I was like I was like man these guys are literally like fucking little brother and little brother just like you carry this fucking bottle water and then he'd be like he'll throw it and shit
Starting point is 00:24:43 Flirt and constant. Yeah, I was just like, Jesus. That's what I used to tell. Oh, man. So that's good. So just as a public service announcement, March 15th through the 17th, we are having the Optic Halo major
Starting point is 00:24:57 here in Arlington at the ESA facility, usually where we have our events. The ticket promo and the Team Pass promo should be link in the description down below. But as always, it's going to be a good one. I don't think that I'm going to be at this one. unfortunately
Starting point is 00:25:13 we're gonna be I don't know if I will either I don't even think we will watch party yeah watch party you come with where the watch party
Starting point is 00:25:22 the watch party oh because you're doing the watch party I thought I was doing like I got my content sheet and everything and I thought we were doing or Seth was doing a watch party
Starting point is 00:25:34 I was going to be on his show I know we were going to be at the event and everything shit is during this no there's cod matches yeah apparently there's
Starting point is 00:25:40 all of her you should just do it on your own then still. Yeah, that's what I'm going to do. Yeah, so we don't know whether or not we're going to Miami, but I know for sure that I have, that I'm doing Idiots season three in the Florida Keys from the Miami what?
Starting point is 00:25:57 Cod Major. Bermuda Triangle all the way. Certain men. Huh? Certain. Do you go to the Bahamas and shit? Yeah. What?
Starting point is 00:26:09 Caribbean idiots. Hell yeah. You know, be, be, be, be, be, be. Oh, you love Cuban food. You want to come? Cuba, say less. I'm there. Listen, you, you, I'll put you on.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Bro, I will literally turn into a fucking hog after I leave. Yeah. After all the pork I eat. Bro. You know, you like Cubano? Like, like, you like pork? Lechon. Pork?
Starting point is 00:26:32 Yeah, I love. Oh, my God. Cuban food, pork. Cubano's, I'm not a huge fan of the sandwiches. I mean, they're good. Cuban sandwiches. I don't eat none of the sandwiches. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Everything else besides. Yeah, yeah. The rice, the beans, the fucking lechone. Oh, my, with the pork chunks in it, whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, Matt, you heard that he's coming with to Idiot Season 3. We're going to be gone for a little bit. It's going to be like a week.
Starting point is 00:26:55 All right. Wait, you're saying Miami has a cod thing, too? Yeah, the Miami major, is that, that is, that has, yeah, that's happening in March also, March 21st, March 25 through the 26th. Yeah, so the way that we predicted the thing is like, Since I'm already going to be in Miami for the Calduty Major doing the watch party, then we might as well just do the Florida Keys. Originally, we're supposed to be California.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Then it was Mexico. But, you know, just making sense of the time. We figured we do, we do this. So cool. I'm looking forward to it. Don't be, if you back out. No, I'm down. All right.
Starting point is 00:27:33 So we're gone for like a week. All right. Okay. And we eat four times a day. Yeah, what is that? What's this behind the scenes like? Yeah. Matt.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Because I don't know, like, if y'all are just doing, like, one or two meals a day. If you go, go to the season finale on my channel. It's live now. The season finale of idiots in Chicago. That one, bro, like, that one was the most grueling. Like, season one was, like, there was space in between them, right? This one, because we compacted it into a nine-day trip. I mean, let's-
Starting point is 00:28:06 Day nine. Nine. Jeez. You're doing that nine-day straight, doing nothing but eating. Bro, nothing. Turn that down, man. Turn that down. Turn it down. Right here we are at 11 city breakfast. Fire. But yes, dude, I'm telling you, like we, this is breakfast, right? From here, fast forward a little bit, man. Actually, no, no, no, no, right? From here we go to, just fast forward, man, just keep scrolling, keep scrolling. I just want to see where we go to after this. Looks fire, though. That looked amazing, right? So this is all going to be one day. Yeah, so we went from there, we went to the distillery where they sent.
Starting point is 00:28:42 where they sell this thing called Marlote, Marlote, Malort, Malort. Yeah, and it's made out of that, it's made out of that seed, huh? You got the arm up on the truck. You were full as hell. I was so full, I was letting my stomach have some room to the sides. I already know. Obviously, you know, these. So there we go.
Starting point is 00:29:01 These are tacos that are from the spot right down the street while we were painting. So, Pam, we ate that. And then from there, we go to this place called Omar Citos. Omar Citos is this Puerto Rican. and they fucking hooked it up. It was fucking crazy. Okay, so look at this, right? Is it omaritos?
Starting point is 00:29:20 Yeah, there's omaritos. That's platano. Platano? Yeah, the banana. Platano macho. And then we ended the night. So right up until this point, we've eaten three times. Okay, we ate breakfast, we ate the tacos.
Starting point is 00:29:33 We have omarcitositos of Puerto Rican food, and then we ended it at Kimski. This is Omarsitos? No, this is Kimski. This is Juan's restaurant. Your boys' restaurant? Yeah, I saw you post. I want to try it. this spot.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Oh, bro. It's crazy. He came up with this very viral woman. Right there, right there. Go back, go back, go back. This is the Asian guys place. Yeah, yeah. What's his name?
Starting point is 00:29:50 Juan. W-O-N. Juan Yupp, Kim. So right there, this, what you're, pause that, pause that, pause that, pause that. What you're looking at right here, actually let it play. Maybe I'll get a close up over it. What you're looking at right here is the, um, the puff daddy. The puff daddy is two pizza puffs as bread for a burger, a wax, a wax,
Starting point is 00:30:12 Bagu Burger. And obviously because we were celebrating, you know, the success of idiots and how great of a time we had, I told him that this had to be like the thing. And up until this point, he hadn't made this. I'm swallowing saliva right now. Up until this point, he went away with it because he won, like the guy that invented Flappy Bird. Do you remember why he stopped doing Flappy Bird?
Starting point is 00:30:36 It just got too crazy. People just... Yeah, it's just making too much money. $14 million a day too much. Shut it down. Shut it down. He got viral because of that. He's like, I'm not going to be known as the chef.
Starting point is 00:30:48 The pizza puff guy. He's probably having lines out there every damn day for the pizza pub burger. But you're talking about like a good like 800 calories per burger. Those look fucking amazing as well. Wow. Are those fries? Yeah. Truffle fries.
Starting point is 00:31:01 So he's as legit as it comes. You know, he comes to food? Oh yeah. He's been on like an impossible. I can tell the way he talks. Yeah. But he's been like an impossible kiss. He's got obviously a successful restaurant.
Starting point is 00:31:14 If you guys are from Chicago and you guys haven't visited Kimski, please do. Yeah, it looks fire. Is it downtown? Ask Roger. Ask Roger where the best fried rice he's ever had was. You can't, like, is this one of the spots where, like, they're going to be booked up every weekend? I would just call ahead just to make sure. He's always the one cooking?
Starting point is 00:31:31 They get Keith Lee here. No, he's got, he's got his kitchen. Those are all the boys right there. My high school buddies. That do look far. Bro, that puff daddy was so fucking. So this whole thing is just all one day. One day nine.
Starting point is 00:31:44 Yeah, I wouldn't eat this. And this is day nine. Wait, why? It's Wagyu. Oh, it's Wagyu. Yeah, I eat it. He's like, two red? Not your thing, huh?
Starting point is 00:31:54 Dude, it's so good. Yeah, so day nine, bro. Like, I'm talking about like eating and eating. And then we went to, bro, the problem with the restaurants is that we're not going out and trying new things. We're going to restaurants that he has, you know, that he knows because he's in the industry and in the, in that, in the community. So every place we go to is like a Michelin Star or a James Beard Award. And then obviously we'll try like all the local stuff. I am salivating looking at this.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Bro, that that truffle garlic butter. Jesus Christ. That thing that he squeezed on? I'll literally throw up after I eat that though. No. It's so heavy. Dude, it was so far. Truffle butter wagg juice.
Starting point is 00:32:37 That was diesel right there. Look at the, like obviously there's the truffle. Isn't that hell of expensive? Yes. Yes. Yes. Because I'd be seeing people get truffle, but they're just like little flakes. That just looked like a half pound.
Starting point is 00:32:49 Those are fucking slices. That's like a slice of truffle. We're there to eat. Okay. We're there to eat. This isn't this isn't for for rookies. You know what I'm saying? This is for people who love to pig out.
Starting point is 00:33:05 I mean the name of the spot one last one? Kimski. Kimski. K-I-M for his last name. Ski. Originally it was like a Polish, Korean fusion restaurant, and then he just said, fuck,
Starting point is 00:33:14 I'm just going to do my own shit. And, you know, he's Korean. So, like, some of the stuff. John, that one down for the next time.
Starting point is 00:33:21 My family shows. These are, these are, uh, carrot fries with row. Oh, okay. I thought that's what that was.
Starting point is 00:33:27 There's May and Diesel back there. Nice. They still live in Chicago? Yeah, they just, uh, they're like, there's six month living there.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Oh, they love it. They live in Chicago? Yeah, Diesel's like, this is the best city I've ever lived in. Obviously. It is.
Starting point is 00:33:40 That's what's up. And I'm like, how's that winter? He's like, fuck that snow. I would like to go back to Chicago and like live in the city though. Yeah. Because I didn't get the like, I can say I truly have like gotten the Dallas city experience. But like back when we lived in Barrington, it was like 40 minutes from the city. So it's like I would say Chicago was like we would go there at like midnight and I miss it every day.
Starting point is 00:34:04 Yeah. So good. Yeah. Yeah. Well, this guy had fucking lake views and shit. Yeah. I miss it too and I wasn't even then I can't say I had the real
Starting point is 00:34:14 Chicago experience I was waking up to that view in the winter Lake Frozen wasn't even real I think back on it and I'm just like I can't believe I lived there It was good for a year but I like to move around a little bit You never got the rope climb
Starting point is 00:34:27 I'm sorry the climbing rope right Oh no I got it oh you did Yeah it did six six stories Six stories long Well if there was several fire I'm like yo you gotta break this window tight To this fucking pillar So I got a six story like rope That you throw out the window.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Wait, you actually got that? Yeah, I got it. It was like a hundred bucks. Is that like a known thing for people to get? No. Nope. No, no, no. That was a risk.
Starting point is 00:34:48 They would have been out there. No. Don't kill me. Just take the stairs. I'm like, no. They would have been mind. They would have been mind-blown once they saw that or past people's windows.

Starting point is 00:37:21 and ends 1 5th, 2025. That is January 5th, 2025. Void were prohibited. Back to the podcast. Yeah, that's a, that is crazy. Yo, what is this Vonderhar project? I love it already. I'll read something out a few months ago, but... Blackout. I love it or what? Blackout. They were? Has T's a cryptic video?
Starting point is 00:37:41 That's what Seth said. Well, is that... Maybe Seth has some insider info that maybe we shouldn't disclose. No, we were on true. Oh, okay. He's like, you see the letters? Blackout. Told you out.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Wait, black out? What's that? What's that mean? Because there's a... You see like the... Yeah, yeah, yeah, the farm. Yeah, there's like letters on the... You see it.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Wait, where? As this image keeps going, there's going to be letters. You'll see it. Oh. J. L. Oh, this is a video. Yeah. So, so he's, he's, he's back?
Starting point is 00:38:13 Is, is he, is this call of duty? People were saying far cry, blackout, okay, okay, okay. So it could be far cry, could be called duty. As to where he's working at? He left Traiart. That's what I was saying. I was like, I mean, it could be any game, like at this point. I mean, if he left call duty, like what makes people think he's going to be working on
Starting point is 00:38:31 call duty again. Dude, I mean. Maybe it's his own fucking game, which would be a problem. I hope so. If it is, I will support. Yep, same. Gladly, gladly support. That guy had always the best intentions
Starting point is 00:38:43 for Call Duty e-sports. All right, fast forwarded, man. I want to see these fucking letters in the end, man. What is it like? Start him. Oh, okay. So what does it say? Wait, what's that?
Starting point is 00:38:55 What's a website? Attract screen. Attract screen info? So what do you do? He just tweeted this out? Yeah, and there's people who like, you know, if you go under the tweet. I make video games and other things.
Starting point is 00:39:06 I live in a van. Does he actually? That's some shit. Dude, he was a racer. He was a DJ. Yeah, no, I could see him actually doing that. Fucking, a modern day. He made Black Ours too.
Starting point is 00:39:21 That's all I need to know. Blackout. Yeah, he made, well, yeah. Oh, right here, right here. Do you know what I'm saying? Like how people are like trying to decipher him and shit? Pretty pleasing, not going to lie. Oh, it's just shit that happens.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Like what it looks like at night. If he's got his own game, That's crazy. Well, he would have made that shit pretty fast. When did he leave, Treyarck? Like, six months ago? Like, what did he? No, when did he leave?
Starting point is 00:39:48 When did he leave? After an incredible 18 years called, he moved and not to explore any opportunities. What, eight months ago? Yeah, eight months ago. He could get some shit done eight months. He was probably working on that. 18 years?
Starting point is 00:40:00 Prior. He's like, I'm going to know what I got planned. Yeah, I let them know. Good. I hope it's successful and nothing but good comes to that, man. I can't wait to. Damn, imagine what kind of people probably message him on LinkedIn?
Starting point is 00:40:14 He's like, you want to come work for fucking Trump? This dude, this dude had security surrounding him everywhere he went because he was that important to the bottom line.
Starting point is 00:40:27 It was Vonner. He was the first one at Dallas, 2011 that came in and like just saw the vision for what it could be. And he says, why do they spin where they're refusing?
Starting point is 00:40:37 And now it's like, oh, it's because it doesn't make a noise. He's like, oh. You four fucking as a time. Anytime there was a kill camp, he'd be like, yeah, look at that animation. He's like, look at that animation. Yeah, OG as OG as they come.
Starting point is 00:40:57 And I say that with obviously being the OG, you know what I'm saying? What are you? Who's more OG than you? Sundance? It depends on what you. mean by that. Or maybe the Call Duty World, I would say. Listen, I've been playing Call of Dutton since 2005.
Starting point is 00:41:17 My everyday sense I started making videos in 2007. The majority of my life has been love it. It's my life's calling. That's almost 20 years. Yeah, dedicating yourself to something that you believe in and that you want nothing but the best for, yeah. All right. Weather in Texas 90 degrees. Why is that a topic?
Starting point is 00:41:36 Look at the outside. It's gloomy and shit. Near freezing Wednesday morning. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, whoa. Tomorrow? Is that right, Matt? Let me look this. We're gonna go from 90 to near freezing.
Starting point is 00:41:45 Bro, it's been nice out. I've been barefoot grounding in my backyard. Did you, do you clear? So when you are about to do that, do you walk every foot of your, of your backyard? When I first moved into mine, I walked every inch because I wanted to see where the fucking ant hills were. You have to, because them things will buck you up. You walk barefoot to find out where No, no, no, no, no. I just walking
Starting point is 00:42:13 everywhere you walk. Yeah. Don't walk in a inhale. You still have the hay back. You still have the hay, right? Yeah. My, only like, only a little bit of my grasses growing in my back here. Well, your dogs keep digging in. Yeah, it's fucking annoying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:29 I'm literally, so I got my yard, the sun kind of stops like halfway because the sun's on this side. Yeah, yeah. So, like, the back towards the fence, the grass is growing. And then the other half, it's not growing at all. It's about to look dumb as shit. Like, I'm going to have just, like, full-grown grass and then just mud.
Starting point is 00:42:50 And, like, where the mud is and dirt, because, like, no sun's getting to it. So it's just, like, always wet. Like, chewy's always fucking with it, just digging holes. My yard's going to look stupid. I'm going to put your... But where there is grass, I've been out there grounding. I'll literally just stand there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Look into the sun. Do you look into the sun with your eyes closed? You should. I mean, not for long. No, you should. You look into it with your eyes closed. I look at it for three seconds open. That is pretty much what I do.
Starting point is 00:43:18 Yeah, your eyes are close and looking into the sun. Just let the rays. Yeah, let's just let the rays. And what's crazy about that is that there have been studies that have said that, like, if you're sun tanning, like, if your activity is laying on a bed, letting the sun overtake you, and you're wearing sunglasses, then what you are disallowing your eyes to measure is the amount of rays that are coming in,
Starting point is 00:43:48 and therefore your melanin doesn't get, you know what I'm saying, doesn't release the amount of. Your body doesn't fully know because you're blocking off. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Now, if you're out there driving and shit and all that stuff, then obviously fishing for sure, for sure.
Starting point is 00:43:59 We're looking cool for sure where your sunglasses. But if you're literally at the pool, sun tanning with no other activity, and you're not moving, then you should not be wearing that. And also you get a more even tan all over your body. You get tanner if you don't wear sunglasses.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Yeah. I don't tan. Yeah, I just burn. Wear your sun. I did a little bit. Because I was in the sun a lot last summer. I go through. And I got darker.
Starting point is 00:44:27 Like I had even like up until I think a few months ago, so I'd like tan lines. I mean, right now I'm just pale. But like, I just got a little. Take a screenshot. Take a screenshot of me right now and then watch on the next podcast.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Wait, where are you going after this? I got the fishing trip that I got to go film. Oh, shit. Real? Yeah. I'm going to go from Chihuahuanse, which is Chihuahua. Chihuahua man to a Yucateco.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Mexican. You're on deep in? Yucatan. Yeah, just dark. My grandpa is from Yucatan on my dad's side. Is that a peninsula? I feel like I've heard of the Ucaton. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:07 This is the boot, the tip of the boot. Yeah, I just burn. It kind of sucks, too. Because, like, you never really got respect for burning. Like, back in school... All I got was cancer. Back in school, like, the girls would go after the tan dudes in the summer. You don't want one of these, bro.
Starting point is 00:45:24 I got, like, three of them. I got scars over here. Wait, from burnt, from summer? Basal cell carcinomas, like, from being burned when I was a kid. Really? Yeah. Wear your sunscreen. So you had cancer?
Starting point is 00:45:37 Say what? So it was cancer? Yeah. They're like, they're skin cancer. They're relatively like, they're not the serious, like melanoma that kills you.
Starting point is 00:45:44 But it's like, but it can develop into that. And they said it was just from like, as a kid being burned and stuff. Yeah, they say all it takes is like one, one time? Like a bad burn?
Starting point is 00:45:53 One bad burn. It was probably, it was Austin. Remember those shit? Yeah. Oh yeah. Fuck. You were a fucking lobster.
Starting point is 00:45:58 Dude, it was so bad. Yeah, it was, bro. Austin was, Austin? Nate's fucking Bachelor was bad too. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:08 I was like a lobster. Nah, yeah. So we went to, obviously, when we won the gold medal, he came out just to support because at that point he was just creating content. Yep. And he got fucking burnt to shit. Because the area in which they held it in
Starting point is 00:46:28 is at the circuit of the Americas. If people don't know, the circuit of the Americas is that racetrack in which everything happens. NASCAR, fucking. F1 and all that. It is, I believe, wholeheartedly, it is the worst place on earth
Starting point is 00:46:42 because there's only one way in and one way out. And to get out, it is the most obscene thing ever. To get to play your match, you got to leave like where everyone's eating, drinking, walk across a parking lot, go into the grass, walk up a grassy hill. It's literally just like on a huge hill, and they had all the tents that were out there.
Starting point is 00:47:06 You're sweating bullets before you can play a match. That was X games? You're sweating and the sweats is drying off instantly at the same time. It's like your skin is literally boiling. Unless you're me. Like you're walking to your match. You get sweaty. Like you're, then you get into what, like air condition room.
Starting point is 00:47:23 Yeah, it's cold. Oh my God. So bad. That's, uh. There it is. I mean, but X games shit, they always had a minute. Yo, we saw Mac Miller perform there. We watch Mac Miller and Kanye like this close.
Starting point is 00:47:35 This close. That's where that was. Yeah. I was like, whole shit, Kim's here too. And Boz's, Bose and boz and bozzo. I'm going to go. It's Kim. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:47 He started singing my Nike's on my feet. I took my shoe off and I'm like, and I'm looking around. I'm looking around and I'm like, these little ass kids don't know how to fucking go to a fucking concert. And I'm fucking sitting there. That's old school. No, I actually did that. You know where I did that at? I did that at the Mavs game.
Starting point is 00:48:02 I was at a Mavs game. They're like, shoot, camp. Yeah, yeah. Everyone started going crazy for this, do with some designer shoes, I had the Travis's on. I'm like, yeah, they didn't catch you?
Starting point is 00:48:10 No. I'd be trying to get on the Jumbotron. Well, I mean, I think, have I been to one or two of the Mavs games? But like every time they're doing some Jumbo Trine, they never put it on me though. Yeah. I just want my five seconds of fame.
Starting point is 00:48:27 They put me on and start getting booed. No. That's life. No. What if Rinaldo do, obscene gesture? Doesn't sound like, Ronaldo. It sounds like something he'd do.
Starting point is 00:48:38 He's a clean, he's a clean, he's a, oh. Damn. Oh. He started stroking? You're not going to like that. Oh. Oh, they're not going to like that. Dude, I bet you.
Starting point is 00:48:52 Not good. He's going to pay some money for that. They all jerk him off. It was a very popular. Damn. But I mean, that's crazy that he does it upside down, right? Like, it's like, you're, you just got an, you just got an, you just got an, you just got an insight as to how he does it.
Starting point is 00:49:06 That's how he does that. You know what I'm saying? Most people are going to do, you know, they're going to hit him with the... Most people do like a low motion. Yeah. That's actually insane. I bet you that people would have been more mad if he would have done this instead. That's what I thought he was doing at first.
Starting point is 00:49:24 Bro, I'm, I hate to be this. I'm so confused of like how soccer works. Like, I understand how the game works. I get like everything that goes on like, whoa, the goalie and how you can. But I don't understand the league. So many. Oh, yeah. It's the most popular.
Starting point is 00:49:39 And the same players will be playing on different teams. Different leagues. Like, Messi will be in, I don't get it. I don't understand it. Well,
Starting point is 00:49:44 Messi is from, he's in the World Cup and then he's in the first go. He has to play for his country of Argentina during the World Cup. During the World Cup only. Or unless there's like a, he probably loses the people.
Starting point is 00:49:54 That I understand. It's like the, that's like All-Star. If you're on West, I understand that part. Yeah. But I'm saying like, okay.
Starting point is 00:50:00 So Renato's in the Saudi, pro Saudi league, right? Will he ever play? Messy's team at all? They just did. Okay. They just did?
Starting point is 00:50:11 So they played other... They just did. He couldn't play? I thought Messi only played for the Miami team though. That's what... See what I'm doing? So you can loan players to certain things, right? No.
Starting point is 00:50:23 What? There's just so much going on. Yeah, you do. You do. But it makes sense. It'd be like this, right? It's like, you play Call of Duty for Optic, right? But at the...
Starting point is 00:50:33 But there's an all-star game. You get to play for the... For the East Coast, because you're from New Jersey. Yeah. Or if there is a 50 team tournament where every player from every state represents their own shit, like you would be on that and it would be allowed for you to be there, right? Like you show up with your fucking New Jersey jersey. That would be a fun tournament.
Starting point is 00:50:55 A New Jersey, Jersey. But yeah, and also like if you... Yeah, it's... Because there's the Euro Cup also, right? So if you're in Europe, there's like, I don't know, it's fucking, it's crazy. Soccer enthusiasts, football enthusiasts. So what, let's just say, Chris, Ronaldo wins, like, whatever the last tournament is, the biggest one, he outbeat everybody. Like, what's the one tournament?
Starting point is 00:51:21 Like, at their cod champs. What's worlds, yeah. World, the World Cup. Okay. But it, the World Cup, don't they have to play for their country? Country, yeah. Like that part of the process I understand I just don't get how league ranking work
Starting point is 00:51:38 If there's a Saudi league And then Like how do you know who's in Miami Yeah Let's put it to like this If there was a World Cup of Call of Duty Predd would go play for Australia Yeah
Starting point is 00:51:49 And get destroyed Yeah No Former NFL MVP Cam New You heard about this Oh he was working them boys He had one in the fucking Headlock
Starting point is 00:52:01 He was being another Yeah you don't He was just yoking them all. That's exactly what I would do if I was him. No need to throw punch. The duty has by the hair is like a youth coach. It was like kind of talking crazy about Cam before all this. It's so it's funny because like bro, if he wanted to throw punch.
Starting point is 00:52:15 That's a professional athlete. If he was throwing punches, bro, bodies would be dropping like flies. Oh, I didn't know what happened at a football game. It was like a kid's football game. How do you get into a first off, where is his? Security. Or his boys. He's just yoking him.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Look, come here, young bull. Like how are you, Cam Newton with not like an auntie? attarage or something around you. Damn. Yeah, that's a big dude. Yeah, fuck that. And he's used to, like, he's used to 300-pound linemen coming after him.
Starting point is 00:52:46 Like, you're not... Yeah, there's 300 problems, but imagine the other force I succeeded. No, the question is, how is his hat still on? His little top hat just staying perfectly on his head. That means he came out unscathed. Like, you got... This is mob action right here, right? Like, you have this.
Starting point is 00:53:04 You have this, like you're with your boys and you feel unstoppable. But that's a fucking professional football. Football, athlete. Football. Just wondering how that even happens. Like, what are they arguing about? Is he getting a fan?
Starting point is 00:53:18 Cam Newton jumped by TSP crew? And the dudes he beat up. That's a TSP crew? Not beat up, but those dudes are getting roasted online. It's at his own 7V7 football tournament. Like, nice, you jump Cam Newton, bro. But they're, and the guys are getting roamed. They found all their like Instagrams.
Starting point is 00:53:36 One's like a youth coach and some and people are like trying to get a fire, contact into organizations. Yeah, like bro, why are you fighting a quarterback? You're jumping a guy doing no damage and then losing practically your life over. Right there. Stop. Look at the second comment on this thing. Right?
Starting point is 00:53:55 Like that is what people should be fucking focused. You can make the screen a little bit bigger, Matt. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Can't really tries to help us these ungrateful asses with his. cams and some nonsense always happens I wouldn't be mad if he just left and stayed rich not worth this
Starting point is 00:54:09 yeah do you ever see Marshawn Lynch's like at his like football there's like a lady who's like telling him like please don't use that profanity with the kids he's like ma'am do you have a man here I could talk to
Starting point is 00:54:25 he's like do you have a man here I can talk to he's like explaining to her like this is how this shit works if that was my girl I'd be like you fucking idiot Like, great, now Marshaun hates us. Now I got to squabble with Marshaun. I don't know if Seth ever told the story between him and Marshawn and what happened at the Vegas bar? That's what I'm doing.
Starting point is 00:54:51 It is a thing, though. Ask him. Ask him. It literally happened. Really? Yeah, yeah. All right. I heard some about Marchand.
Starting point is 00:55:00 I'm going to say when his camera's off, though. Yeah He's one of my favorite players Same same same And Pac-Man Jones Shout out Pac-Man Jones If you watch the podcast I fucks with you
Starting point is 00:55:12 Yeah come on the podcast man Shout out Pac-Man I wonder who the most random person To watch this podcast is Like celebrity-wise Like someone just randomly chat Like if LeBron John Rom
Starting point is 00:55:25 John Rom that's what I would have said That was the most That caught me But who's John Rom Romm Best golfer in the world Oh really When he won the Masters two years ago, they asked him during the interview,
Starting point is 00:55:36 he was, what was your day like? Obviously, you just won your first Masters. What was your day like waking up and blah? He's like, well, I woke up and watched, this is going to surprise a lot of people. I'm actually like literally quoting word forward. It's got a lot of people, but I got up and I watched my favorite team, the Optic Chicago, play their Call of Duty game. What the hell?
Starting point is 00:55:58 Had breakfast with the... And no one had any idea that he was like into it? Bro, Matt Kendrick and one of my other business partners, Brian, they texted me immediately and I'm like, and I'm press play. I'm like, who's this? He just won the Masters and I'm like, oh shit. Then I started doing my research. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:56:17 Bro, there's still, no matter why, I know there's still that little thing that lingers. Like, people are scared to say they watch video games still. Yeah. That's why he's probably like, you know, it's going to shock a lot of people. Let me throw this out there before you start freaking out. Like, I love video games. Not around with it. Right there.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Play it. That's fucking crazy. Shout out John Rom. Right when you wake up where your mind starts going. I got woken up by crows. I don't know why. That's what I was thinking. I was thinking, man, those birds.
Starting point is 00:56:47 No, I mean, I did the same routine, you know, for people that follow this, and I'm a shock a few people. I woke up excited because I could watch a match that a Call of Duty tournament, you know, which was e-sported. you know, which was e-sports that was going on. Fuck, yeah. Which is Optic, Chicago, had just played. And the night before, and I knew I could watch it. It's about an hour and a half, so I had an amazing morning. And I went downstairs, you know, got my water, my coffee.
Starting point is 00:57:15 The chef was making breakfast, and I was just watching my Call of Duty event. That's simple as that. Then Kelly came down with it. The chef was making breakfast while I watched the Call of Duty event. I know, shocking for some people, but yeah, that's what I was doing. And then he proceeded from there to win. He won the U.S. Open. Oh, this is after he won.
Starting point is 00:57:33 What a fucking stuff. I'm saying that was his morning. He did all that and then he goes and wins the- won the U.S. Open. That's crazy, right? He's like, he's like, all right, it's like fucking, fucking dashing and scump.
Starting point is 00:57:45 Yeah, no, I wonder if that gave him some dope for the match. Did you know the ass? Scump? Let's go. Don't look up this day in what we played because maybe we lost that. It's just let me.
Starting point is 00:58:00 But yeah. That was pretty cool. To me, that one was random. That one was random. Another time where I got caught off guard was when Ben Simmons, the first time that I interacted with Ben Simmons, I had just done a vlog because I was doing like a like a sponsored, not a sponsored thing, but me and the guy that used to sell a sponsorship at the time, me and him were out in New York selling sponsorships to like brands and shit.
Starting point is 00:58:27 We're at this brand event and we were talking. And then that night, we went to. the NBA draft. And that's where Ben got drafted number one. And, you know, I have him on video. I'm like, in my vlog, I'm like recording him
Starting point is 00:58:40 getting drafted, blah, blah, blah. And then JCap, he's like, yo, follow that dude. Follow that. He follows all of you guys. Follow, follow him. I follow him. And then that's when he said, he's like,
Starting point is 00:58:48 I can't believe you didn't let me join Optic when I was 13. Yeah. I was like, damn. That's crazy. That's fucking nuts. Yeah, that was fucking cool. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:58:58 If you're, if you are of, of if you're a professional athlete or a superstar and you watch this podcast, don't be shy. You know what I went through down a little rabbit hole people who are like do shit in the world like celebrities, whatever they do. And they put like Reddit posts out there for people to just ask them whatever,
Starting point is 00:59:14 but you don't never know who the fuck you're asking. It could be fucking a doctor or it could be an AILA. There's people that figured out who it was too. Oh, really? Yeah, there's people who've gotten called. Yeah. Yeah. Wait, what do they do?
Starting point is 00:59:25 I'm a movie actor. I'm not going to tell you who I am, but ask me anything you want. That's dope. Have you been in that of that? It's like a true like AIDList celebrity movie actors actually like sitting down there doing it. It's pretty cool. You got to be bored.
Starting point is 00:59:40 Yeah, you got to be. I'm wondering like how bored. A little celebrity Reddit there. But also it's probably like, I don't know, it is interesting. It's probably interesting to do. There isn't a single thing that you can do. Well, I mean, there's one thing, right? But there isn't one thing that that you can do over and over again and not get bored of.
Starting point is 00:59:57 right like if you're waking up every single day and just going out into the beach laying down having a corona having a margarita right after that having some tacos brought to you. You get used to everything. Yeah you're just like uh... sick of the shit. First two weeks in my house I was like this is amazing.
Starting point is 01:00:13 I feel like I was a way to slisted off my shoulders. There's so much open room. Now you're back to square one. Now I'm just like, now what? It's like same actually not really because I do really fuck with it, but... Have you guys watched Dune the first one? You saw it.
Starting point is 01:00:31 I watched the first one, yeah, it was dope. Have you? No. You don't watch movies, right? I didn't watch Dune, no. Dude, Dune was... I'm starting Marvel. I just watched the first Captain America or whatever.
Starting point is 01:00:40 Yeah. And then I watched... Chronological Order? Yeah. That's smart. Then I watched... I wish I could go back in the girl one. I think that came out.
Starting point is 01:00:48 That was next. Captain Marvel? Yeah. That's what I'm... Wait, so you are going in chronological order. Mm-hmm. When does Iron Man one come out for you? Probably next.
Starting point is 01:01:00 I think the Hawk. I think next it might be the Hawk and then Iron Man. Yeah. Dude, Iron Man one is one of my favorite videos of that series. The probably my favorite one. It's really good. So Doom Part 2 just came out. Hutch went to go see it.
Starting point is 01:01:17 I love my guy, but I can't. Some of the shit he says is like he thinks, He thinks that Aquaman was one of the greatest fucking action food. And it was I, you know? I didn't say. And he like, you know, for this doing one, he was going above and beyond. It's the highest rated. I haven't seen a lot of people.
Starting point is 01:01:39 Yeah, say it's really good. So what is it about? It's a post-apocalyptic. Ooh, my favorite. This is after AI destroyed worlds and all this stuff. There's no computers. I haven't read the book. And the only thing I know about this is what I saw in the first movie.
Starting point is 01:01:53 Yeah, it's based off the books, which were suburban. Super popular back in the day. Are you reading anything right now, Will? Reading? No? You don't read? Not books. I went on a kick for like a couple months
Starting point is 01:02:04 where I was doing the audiobooks. I listened to, what was it, Matthew McConaughey, he did, I don't, it wasn't, maybe it was like his biography or something. It's good. It's titled, All right, all right, all right. Dude, he narrates it.
Starting point is 01:02:16 It's so good. Listen to that and then Atomic Habits. I listened to that, but that's been a while ago. I need to, yeah, maybe I knew. Yeah, that was it, Green Lights. That's the man. man right there.
Starting point is 01:02:26 Yeah. It's super good. Is the first Dune good? This is Dune 2? Yeah. Like it's Dune a movie I need to watch. Yeah, it's so good. I love post-apocalyptic stuff.
Starting point is 01:02:37 Oh yeah. Yeah, well, this one's on, this one's really, I mean, it is it is sci-fi, so you are spaceships and aliens and that sort of shit. Fire. You don't believe in aliens? No, I do, but I don't really watch
Starting point is 01:02:49 that kind of shit movies. I'm the same way. Like sci-fi stuff. Like I can appreciate it, but I just, Once it gets unrealistic, even action movies. When I see people, besides like John Wick, I love John Wick movies, but besides that, when I see one dude take on. So like Marvel and shit, you don't talk with it? But like, I watch that and I'm just like, you're fucking dead if five guys come at you.
Starting point is 01:03:09 And like, you're just not. Like no Marvel movies and stuff? I kind of like Marvel movies. I kind of like those. I'm a documentary guy. Same. Yeah. Everything documentary, everything.
Starting point is 01:03:19 Have you watched that man who built America yet? That the one? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Not all of it, but I saw the One of my favorites. The Racafeller. The Men Who Built America?
Starting point is 01:03:28 The movie. It's a... Documentary. It's not a documentary, but it's a show about how it's... Like a historical... How it happened. Really good. Are they still running it?
Starting point is 01:03:40 No, it was just a... It was a mini-series. Who was it, Rockefeller's? Rockefeller, Vanderbilt. Are they still running it? Carnegie. One of them just died. Rothschild.
Starting point is 01:03:50 Rothschild, dude. Oh, they have us... I saw... I think it was like a... TikTok or something. Isn't it crazy how our bank is their pockets? Yeah. So like they when they go take out money at the ATM it's like our money is our money. We're so controlled we'll be in the middle of nowhere and like it'll be light out to where we can see but there will be a stop sign and we'll just stop. No cars coming at all. Not me. Not me. There's no car anywhere in here
Starting point is 01:04:18 and we'll still stop. We'll still listen to that red light. Not me. It's like it's just crazy. Like they were just pointing out little like things of just like how How he systematically put us in how we're that how we're that systematically put us in such Control there is that but imagine no structure and yeah that would give it three days it's fucking chaos Imagine if the grid went down no red lights Grocery store is done three days people are killing each other The card's not working nothing I would have you'd have to immediately start robbing That's why when you text it out the other day you were like yo EMP on the US I
Starting point is 01:04:54 literally I started Googling. I'm telling you, if they hit that grid, it's over. No, well, you don't think that they just did. The FBI was investigating whether or not there was a cyber attack. What else would possibly the entire cellular network for the U.S? No, no, no, no, here's what people just, even you just now by saying the entire cellular, no, think about that. They just took down the cellular network, not the internet worked.
Starting point is 01:05:16 Yeah, I didn't even notice it. Just cellular. So to have the capacity to pick and choose what gets taken down, that's crazy. Yeah. I didn't notice it. I mean, yeah, I mean, that's how they would collapse us. And I have AT&T. I looked at my phone as at SOS and it happened at 2.30 in the morning.
Starting point is 01:05:32 Oh, really? Yeah. And I was like, I got up and I was just like, I'm like, what the fuck? And it gave me things like cellular network is down and about. And I woke up, same thing. And I started texting people. And there was a couple days before that the, the U.S. said there was some, what did they say? Solar flares?
Starting point is 01:05:48 No, not solar flares, but they were just saying there was an imminent like. Attack. not attack but they just to be aware national security threat is what they called it and then a couple days after the cellular network goes down was it the NATO guy uh I think so and then it came out they were talking about Russia wanting to put a nuke in space or something which would
Starting point is 01:06:07 definitely it would do so that's another thing is we have space like literally space fucking security because if they knocked down our satellite in space it's really over that's worse than the grid it'll be for real like we might as well just start killing ourselves we might as well just start killing straight up I'm going down with a fight
Starting point is 01:06:28 I like I say this like I'm like confident about it but like I fantasize about like the earth shit hitting the fan fantasize not imagine he fantasizes about it about like shit hitting the fan
Starting point is 01:06:43 and it's just like back to bro it would be back to the year 100th of it with COVID like the smallest taste like the grocery stores just started getting kind of like you walk up and you're like, damn, there's no fruit.
Starting point is 01:06:55 No toilet paper. Yeah, no toilet paper. I kind of love COVID. I mean, that's because I was, that's because I was cracked out playing Halo 3 and I didn't have to do anything. Yesterday we were just having a conversation.
Starting point is 01:07:07 I'm like, people were talking and I didn't know where I blurted out. COVID was low key fire. That was like, who was lit. Whoops. I was like, I mean,
Starting point is 01:07:15 I was a victim of it, but it was a, it was like a met and way more. I met people that are still in my life today. had fun, like, I hate to say it was a bad time, but like... For me, economically speaking? 2020 and 2021, I'm crushing. I feel bad, but this is great.
Starting point is 01:07:34 You know, definitely, what is it just like, home-owned businesses? Yeah, fuck. But besides that, I don't want anything like that to happen. But, I mean, if shit does hit the fan... Well, this... I kind of... Not that I look forward to it, but...
Starting point is 01:07:50 We're good here. I imagine what it'd be like. Can you grow food? Yeah, can you grow food? I can't grow food. Do you have a water retention? I'm not ready. You don't have a water retention?
Starting point is 01:08:01 I'm not ready. You are homeowners. I go to my brother's house. He's like not a doomsday prepper, but he has like a full. My kind of guy. And he's like with a number pet. If he don't let me in, I just got a robber killing. Good luck.
Starting point is 01:08:15 I'm just going to let you. No, we'd be good in Texas. Think about it. Some crazy shit happened. We'd have people portray. on the streets everyone got firearms for sure it would take a week and you'd have like a little neighborhood militia
Starting point is 01:08:27 like until the leader of that militia was like you know he's like oh I want what he has you know how that it sets you set you up we can moves you out but then we don't want to listen to them so we start our own there then there's a little war in Texas exactly how I go
Starting point is 01:08:45 just remember man prepare yourself then you got to reproduce every day just getting girls pregnant nothing right Every day. But I can't, I got a girl, so I hop down. I'm not even interested. No, of course not. We are, we are, we are men of honor here.
Starting point is 01:09:03 That's disgusting to even think about. Yes, we are men of honor. We do not discuss these disgusting things. Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, that's going to do it for episode 164 of the Optic Podcast. We will see you guys next week.
