Starting point is 00:00:00 I remember I did flow my war zone stats one time in the middle of the MW season. There was only one person that was negative KD in Warzone. That's me. I also didn't play a lot. Did you see how many hours I had? You see me play. Don't play me. You've seen me play.
Starting point is 00:00:15 You've seen me play. And I'm also not going to be judged by some fucking world, two-time world champion. What the fuck? Welcome, welcome to episode number 97 of the Optic Podcast. This episode is brought to you by Rocket Money in Ray. and I'll tell you personally a little bit more about them later on in the podcast. Happy Halloween! Yo, so I got here and everybody was allocated certain costumes,
Starting point is 00:00:47 and I'm the only one that's in the spirit always. I'm the only one that always, I'm the biggest tryhard. This guy doesn't even have a microphone in front of him. Right. He just woke up about an hour ago, drove up here from Dallas downtown. It's raining outside. You know these Texas can't drive for shit. No offense, you Texans, but my goodness.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Damn, you just suck that caprice on dry. Bro, it wasn't full. Look at that thing. She's dead. Yeah, it's just sitting there. So what's up? You're not going to put the cat ears on? No, no.
Starting point is 00:01:20 What about the choker? It got from worse to worse or whatever the fucking. What about you? No, Mario? At least put the hat on. You don't have to put the mustache on. Just for like two seconds for the thumbnail. Actually, you know what?
Starting point is 00:01:34 You can do that digitally. but you should still put it on. Well, no, it's like, I have to like stick it on. It, it, and the glue's only gonna be on your upper lip for about 24 hours. I'm not doing that. Everything that you eat is just gonna be stuck in there. Yeah. Formal, I wanna here, let me take this off.
Starting point is 00:01:54 Make serious. It's a fucking pirate. I'm gonna be serious here. Okay. First of all, congratulations. Thanks. Your accomplishment, God damn it. That is, that is, huh?
Starting point is 00:02:07 Champion. Yeah, champion. Let me take this earring off. I'll leave the bandana on because I feel like I look exotic. Got my brown skin. Got this hair, wavy. Anyway, back to you. That was, do you as, I mean, obviously, because you were front row and center, like, you are literally the one doing it.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Do you realize the, the typableness that you did when you accomplished that? Like, do you know how typical it was what you did? Yeah. another or was it another day at the office for you? I don't know. It's still kind of like, it's still kind of setting in. But I mean, I know it's, I know it was crazy. Just because it was like my first year back in Halo.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Yeah. And it was like almost immediate success. Yep. Like we should have won Kansas City. I could have won it Raleigh with Sen. Yeah. Like, I don't know. This is a good year.
Starting point is 00:02:58 It's a good year for, for you, you say, you know what? I'm going to retire from college duty. He's just not doing it for me no more. And a lot of people and fuck those people. A lot of people. were doubting your skill. They were saying, it's like, this dude just doesn't have it anymore.
Starting point is 00:03:14 It's like he's just not what, you know, he's not playing what he used to. They lack the knowledge that sometimes you just get sick of shit and you just don't, when you stop having fun, you stop being the best at something. That's just period, end of story. You cannot be the best of something unless you love it.
Starting point is 00:03:29 And when you lose love with it, whether by choice or just by time being time, you know people people were were saying that about you and you say you know what man I'm retiring you weren't you weren't the formal that you once were in call of duty because call duty had all the mechanics they just didn't didn't fuck with you you decide to retire go into retirement and say uh you know I kind of like HALA I think I'm gonna I'm gonna start competing yeah and then within a year a world not just a champion in HALO a world champion in HALA pretty typical very typical
Starting point is 00:04:05 What was, let me ask you this, though, did you watch it? Yeah, a little bit. Did you see the last match where they, everybody dropped their controller? Brad's face, have you seen Brad's face? What happened there? Well, like, King of the Hill, if the score goes to zero, the game ends, or the time goes zero, the game ends, and we're up 3-1 in, like, the hills, which means they have to cap two more hills to tie the game, and we would continue playing with over time. and when it went to zero they got into the hill
Starting point is 00:04:39 right when we started celebrating and I guess we didn't like notice you on the hill right away so we didn't realize the game was continuing but like the game was still pretty much over like for them to win that it would have been like it would have been like impossible they would have had to like stay in the hill
Starting point is 00:04:55 the whole time like I don't know it would just been really fucking hard so we just like we sat back down and we just kind of like laughed about it and said like let's kill him again and then you just like went and killed him again Bro, no, Brad was like, he was tweaking. Bro, he tweet, like, his eyes were so wide.
Starting point is 00:05:10 He was breathing hard. He was just like, he swallowed. He said, yeah, he gulped. It felt like he was waking up from one of those dreams, those, what are those, what are those called? Those dreams where you're like, you're half awake but you can't move. Sleep paralysis? Yes, to me, it looked like he had sleep paralysis as he was waking through that.
Starting point is 00:05:29 He was tweaking. But what a moment, man. I mean, I was sitting backstage the whole time. So I would have gone to Orlando. You know, we obviously had a loss in the family, and I wanted to stay home with Jude. But also the hurricane, I just was not about to get stuck on there. And you didn't listen to me when I said, get the fuck out of there. No, I want to go to Disneyland.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Here. Wee. And then what? Got stuck. You got stuck. There was water up to your knees. What? You had no water for, he didn't have water for three days.
Starting point is 00:05:57 No food. I'm like, yeah, I hope. He's gassing it. Was it bad? Did it get back? It wasn't that bad. No? I was seeing videos of like flooded parking lots with like sharks in them.
Starting point is 00:06:10 And I was kind of tweaking when I saw that but that didn't happen by me. No. It was happening somewhere in Florida. You saw the alligators and the crocodiles like in the middle of the street? Like they were just like looking for humans. Yeah. They're like where the little kids at? Where the little kids at?
Starting point is 00:06:24 We're about to get in this thing. Yeah, that was make me tweak. But I mean, it was fine. It was fine. It was hard to be like in bad spirits after winning, you know. after winning, you know. After winning Orlando? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:35 And then obviously rolling that into, to Seattle, what was the vibes like as soon as you landed? Like, what did you in the team, like talk about? Was it one of those situations where you were just like, again, another day at the office, or did you guys say, yo, this is where we go the hardest? Like, I mean, like, we just, we did the hard part, which was like winning Orlando.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Like, just getting the first winner belt was like the hard part. And then once we had that, I mean the practice up until Seattle was the same like we practiced more harder than like any team in the game this year yeah which is and it showed a lot so once we got that under our belt we were just like super confident I feel like other teams were starting to fear us and yeah we just like kept the gas
Starting point is 00:07:19 or the foot on the pedal on the pedal yeah pedal to the metal yeah we were pedal to the metal and yeah we took it home what about the first series because I look you guys looked at the entire weekend. The second that I saw, is you guys won the first match, barely.
Starting point is 00:07:37 And then after that, it was a little bit of a downhill stuff. How did you mentally regain for something like that? I mean, well, first of all, you gotta think, like, Cloud 9 was on, like,
Starting point is 00:07:46 they were, like, red hot. They got reversed up in their first round in winners bracket, which means they started losing round one, and they made it all way back to the finals, and they beat, like, Faze,
Starting point is 00:07:55 they beat Sen, they beat, they beat, a couple other good teams. So by the time they got to us They were like on top of the world confidence Was yeah Which is really hard to play like against
Starting point is 00:08:07 No matter what Yeah And I don't know We came out the gates like kind of hot We were like whatever And we got the game one But it was like not very like clean at all And um
Starting point is 00:08:18 They just kind of came out hot the rest of the series And In between series like I mean you'll see it in the process But like we just We just knew like If we just play our game Then we'll win
Starting point is 00:08:28 It was that's like the bottom of line. If we just did what we were supposed to do, we were going to win. Yeah. And we just had to stop feeding and have the way they were playing and, like, you know, take ourselves out of the moment a little bit. But yeah, we regained. It was a pretty big turnaround. Being there live and spectating that thing live, man, like, there was no chance in hell. I was going to miss that. Like, I wanted, and I learned from the first time that, that you guys, when you guys won the, the Call Duty champs, I learned from that. I'm like, I'm not going to run out. I wanted to run out there immediately and just like that, but I want to give the team a moment for you
Starting point is 00:09:00 to one, get your pictures, two, like celebrate amongst each other, and then wait. And I also wanted everybody to be all the way in the front and be distracted before I pulled up with all the chains. Yeah, you did surprise me, yeah. Huh? You surprised me. Yeah, yeah. Surprised everybody. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Yeah. I mean, they were happy, so. Yeah. Not the chains. It was a really, really good moment. Scump got engaged. Yeah, I know. Saw that?
Starting point is 00:09:22 Yeah. Happy for him. Did you know what's going to happen? No. You didn't know he was going to get married? No. I mean, I, well. No.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Well, I mean, engaged, not married. I mean, now you know he's going to get married, but engaged. That whole day was a little bit like, man, we were at sea for about six hours. Oh, shit. Yeah. I'm surprised you didn't. Why, am I lying, page? Pages, all right, guys, just so you guys know, there's an empty seat and I told Page to come sit there so that she could talk and she said no, and now she wants to talk.
Starting point is 00:09:54 So we, did you know he, you knew he was going to propose, right? Yeah. So I guess it was like all a team effort except for Scump. Scump had, you know, literally all he did was pay for it and had a little bit of planning. But he was like, you know, he was a little bit nervous. If I do say so, like he was. I believe it. He was.
Starting point is 00:10:14 And, you know, I was vlogging the whole day. And I said to him as we were sitting down after it was all set and done. I'm like, yo, is it cool if I use your proposal as my thumbnail? He's like, what? that's fucked up and I said all right the sweater that you're seeing on the screen right now that you propose with you can get that that's the other thing I was gonna do I was gonna
Starting point is 00:10:35 reply with that with a link to buy that that sweater that he's wearing I'm like yo he's like legendary no I says legendary no yeah no it's uh it's it's really good it was one of my favorite ones that we were made anyway also but look I knowing scumps
Starting point is 00:10:51 since he was like 17 years old and seeing him get to this point like I've known this about every single one of you To be honest, I thought by night you would have been already roped up. What? What? Where does that even come from? I'm married?
Starting point is 00:11:05 I don't think that. Yeah, that's crazy. No? I mean, how's how old are you? 27. How old are you? 27. Holy Seth?
Starting point is 00:11:12 26. 27? Yeah. By 26, it was a rap for me. I already knew. Yeah. You got no kids. You got no kids.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Thank God. Yeah, so flex in today's day and age. Yo, I actually have an insane story I got to tell you Please do Not insane, but like Please do Well, hold on
Starting point is 00:11:33 Let me grab one of these These Truman bars Dark, no, not the dark chocolate I need the milk chocolate I get the same vape All the time, right? Like doesn't change
Starting point is 00:11:45 So I go to the car wash Right I have one in my car I go through, clean my car Drive to the vacuum part I'm vacuuming You do your own
Starting point is 00:11:55 I mean, it's real quick. It was just got to get cleaned up real quick. So I parked. I open my door. I'm vacuuming. I get the vapes in my driver's seat, like on the seat, so I take it move it to my cup holder. I'm in there vacuum and then I hear something hit the ground.
Starting point is 00:12:14 What I turned around? And then it's my same vape, right? So I'm like, oh, shit. Did I have an extra one maybe? Because I have a lot of them, bro. But it's the same? Yes. Same battery.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Same, no, it's like, uh, disposable. It's a disposable one, so, like, but it's the same one. You know what I'm saying? And, yeah, I mean too, Matt. And, uh, so I pick it up, put it in my pocket. You do what I do. I'm driving. I pull it to CVS real quick.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Then I hit that beep and I'm like, you know, why is it like, bro, you got someone you lit? No, I know, like that. So I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, Bro, this shit feels dead. Then I look at my cup holder and I have two. And I'm like, what the fuck are the odds? No, no, because I heard something hit the ground.
Starting point is 00:13:06 It was bothering me all day yesterday, bro. I'm like, if I hit someone's random vape, I'm going to fucking vomit. Yeah. Like, no, but there's no way. Like, I heard it hit the ground. That's why I look down. But it tastes it weird, right? Yeah, I'm God, it was dead.
Starting point is 00:13:20 Yeah, because it wasn't your flavor, somebody else's flavor. No, it was the same vape, same flavor. everything. So like what are the chances that like that's going to be my vape and next to me to where like I would think it's mine that's there's a lot of vape options. Oh that's what you're saying. You know what I'm saying? You're saying they could have been a random person. That's what you're thinking? I'm thinking that that's somebody else's person that he just found somebody who and just happened to be your same one. How did I hear it hit the ground like that's why I look down. That's what I don't know when you buy your car and just dropped it on the floor. What could it happen? What could
Starting point is 00:13:53 What happened is that when you stepped out of the car, you kicked it over and you heard that shit. And then you sucked up on somebody else's fucking vape. Hey, bro, no way. It's nasty, bro. Bro, there's no shot. And I was definitely yours. It's just old. That's what I was like.
Starting point is 00:14:13 100%. Yeah, exactly. I mean, like, not 100%. Like 99% 99%. I chalked it up to like 85%. 99, bro. I was just walking by your car and just chucked on the room. But a good thing I hit it and I instantly like was like, whoa.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Yeah, but you already put it to your lips to somebody else's. And that dude probably goes, probably like puts his whole mouth in that shit. Dude, I was thinking to all crazy shit, bro. I'm like, I'm like, you're this little dirty motherfucker who knows what he is doing if it's theirs. I'm like, who knows, bro, it's so gross. It's probably one of those, I mean, hopefully it wasn't a homeless person's because if it was a homeless person. Who said that to me yesterday? I'm going to tell you why.
Starting point is 00:14:53 I didn't say that to me yesterday. tell you why because they share oh my god so you probably got like three homeless dude or women yeah you should it's live on your shit you really i would just uh did did you sanitize your mouth bro all we had sanitizer panicking yes no he just sat in his seat and just like contemplated he's like trust me i rolled but i thought in my mind i'm like i remember how i hit the I was like, oh, thank God I wasn't feeling like on the phone like chewing on my shit. I would have been crying, yo. I would have been crying.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Oh, that's so gross. Yeah, that's what I was stressing about all day after. So how much did you guys end up winning individually? In the hiltzormin? Yeah. A hundred thousand. Each? What do you going to do with your money?
Starting point is 00:15:37 Save it. Just save it. What are you going to do with, what am I going to do with my hundred? That's pretty cool. I did find out, though, that because we won, there is going to be some skins available in the game. They're in the shop right now. They're in the shop right now.
Starting point is 00:15:55 So go buy them right now. It's pretty sick. Because that is your way of additionally supporting the players. Even if you don't like us, it's a cool skin. Even if you don't like, I mean, who? I don't know. Even if you're one of the 15 people that don't like us, you're still by it to support the scene. Please, please trust and believe.
Starting point is 00:16:15 The COD release was last night. It dropped at like at midnight. 11. Yeah, it was actually like a hour earlier. Midnight Eastern. So 12 Eastern. Yeah, but it came out like an hour earlier. So it was like 10.20 here when it came out.
Starting point is 00:16:30 I was, this guy, Hutch, really thought that I was going to be playing at 11.30. I was in bed by 8.30, asleep by 9. It's a. You got to bring the vibes back, man. No, bro. I woke up at 6 a.m. and I was ready to bring the vibes. I could respect that.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Yeah. And I don't do snacks. I'm just not a snack guy. Yeah, I'm right, bro. You just busted over the Truman bar. You just busted open. What is it called? A Truman Bar.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Yeah, but I'm only doing that because it's daytime. It's Halloween. So there's candy like everywhere, including the super limited edition no longer available up the green gummy gummy gum drops. So good. Delicious. Made by Alan.
Starting point is 00:17:14 So you played it. You said you played it for a little bit and got super annoyed by it? Like four hours, yeah. For four hours? Yeah. I played some message d turns, played some pubs. You still got it? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Yeah. It's all right. I was doing much better than I thought I would, to be honest. Yeah? Yeah, it was actually frown. But I don't know, the maps are, I mean, I didn't play that much of it. But from like, first, you know, face value, it was like nothing exciting about it.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Did you stream it? Yeah, I did. Oh, okay. How many people were watching? Like 4,000? Yeah, I figured. Dude. I hate about the, bro, there's like, two things I hate, I hate how all the attachments
Starting point is 00:17:50 that's so whacked to me. What do I mean? There's so many attachments, bro. Yo, a lot. Her gun. Like a lot. Is there? And now you can do something else with the attachments.
Starting point is 00:17:59 You can like tune them. You can like tune the attachment specifically to like, it opens up like a fucking pentagram or a Pentagon of, dude, I don't know. No. Dude, it's crazy, dude. It's crazy. What happened to like red dot grip? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Make it easy, bro. Three cents. Yes. Like, what the fuck is all this shit? These dead zones. Yeah. Oh, my. There's so much shit.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Bro, I haven't touched any of them. What is this? That's the tuning shit. I didn't even touch it because I was like, I. So what? So what? Like, you can like, you can like pull it. You see that little thing he's doing at the bottom?
Starting point is 00:18:36 You can like pull it to be like more recoil or like more damage or some shit. But like this is just a head case. fucking central look at this thing and you can do it per fucking attachment it's crazy and what essentially you just try to get everything inside the circle i guess you just keep messing with it until you just end on something you like i can move yeah until you like it i guess during the entire beta i didn't even change my i was throwing like some semptex or what i was i just don't touch that stuff ever i just want to shoot and throw a grenade that's it i just want to shoot and throw a grenade dude I want to, let me ask you about that silence, though, right?
Starting point is 00:19:13 That's what I was going to say. That's my, like, second thing that's, like, when I play, that's what's also on my mind. Yeah, I think, yeah. He's like, bro, I don't want people. You move a bush, you hear me. Maybe you jump, you hear me. I plant the bomb, maybe you hear me. Pick it up the fuse.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Maybe you hear me. There's a lot of other things they could do. Bro, I don't want to be crouching and banging through shit, and you're hearing it throughout the whole map. It's just, well, for, like, what we play, it's annoying as hell. I mean, dude, I've never liked, like, I've never liked in Cod how you can just get kills or make a play based off of what, like, the audio is. Like, if you're just cranked super loud or if one of your teammates is dead and he's cranked super loud, it changes your play. I don't think that's fucking right. No.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Honestly, I think that's so stupid. No. Now, I, although I do think that having it as a field upgrade is personally, I don't mind it as much as just, like, not. having it at all because I do I do find that just having dead silence and being able to run around like a fucking maniac. The other thing is you were mentioning like there's no red dots on those mini maps anyway. And even when you have those spotting grenades and you throw them, if you have a perk that sort of disallows for that thing to work, like what is even the fucking point? This thing is this is what's going to happen. The longer thing and what sucks is that we have
Starting point is 00:20:31 this thing. So let me let me start by saying that I had a lot of fun this morning playing it. I haven't played I haven't played game battles matches. So I don't know. the true annoyance and extent of the nerdy shit that goes on in order to be to fine-tune your weapon. But once you get in there, I do think that not having that silence sort of affects the speed of the game and doesn't make it as exciting as it could be, but it also disallows for the drama of, did you hear me? Did you not hear me? As long as it's consistent across the board, which is what I'm hoping that it is, like I'm okay with that.
Starting point is 00:21:05 But the second that you start hearing something and I don't hear it, when Spectator mode hears it, That means that there's a slight difference in variation. And I don't give a fuck if you're on someone's parrot and just sitting on someone's shoulder as they're going on that. That's the other thing. What's with the third person perspective on the kill camps? Yeah, you gotta click. I mean like, you can change it.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Yeah, you gotta take off. Once you click triangle, it'll go to like... First person? Dude, having dead silence as a per or as a perk would make it, okay, like, an S&D strat should never ever be to sit around the whole round until you all have dead silence. That is so stupid. Like, why the fuck are, is that, that's a, that's a good strat.
Starting point is 00:21:42 Yeah. That's a good strat. A lot of people are doing that. Yeah. Because you feel too scared to do anything. Because people are fucking cranked. Yeah. And like, it sucks how you can hear everyone.
Starting point is 00:21:50 But then at the same time, like, I like, I like, you can use it. It gives you a better chance to clutch. Like, you get what I mean? If like, they don't have it, you have it. Yeah, but like, it's like, it's still like. No, that's not even skillful, though. Like, just because he doesn't have that sounds and I have it, it makes it so like, I'm at a huge advantage.
Starting point is 00:22:08 like a huge advantage running back to shit around yeah like you're just gonna kill the guy you're gonna hear one thing and be like oh so you're left like that's just like not skillful at all and I just don't like how that's like become the thing now
Starting point is 00:22:20 yeah it's really stupid in my opinion yeah I don't know look it's it's literally been less than 24 hours since that came out I do find that it's way different than it was on the beta because there was a lot of clunky shit on the beta
Starting point is 00:22:35 I'm getting text from Hutch and Diesel saying that the party system is not right or that there's a lot of it isn't the lobby system oh my god it was i think it's i think it's fucked up right now play online private mat is a few things you did scan and repair scanner repair was happening so much last night in the attorneys it's pretty much what killed my vibe like every single fucking game that you're trying to get in people's games it's not smooth at all they did the cool i like i like that code thing where there's a code for the private i didn't get a chance to use that that that shit is dope as hell why i like that so like when you create a private match you
Starting point is 00:23:08 have a code like it so you can basically instead of like adding people yeah yeah yeah you can just give them is that what it is that's so join off of it yeah yeah but if it worked properly that'd be sick yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah how do you said to him um i think the host can see it and then he it's super short okay yeah but how do you like for example like on CMG there's like a chat got it got got it got it yeah that's that's where i was going like if you're playing a game battle smash and you don't want to add somebody to the to the party um that that's Cool because I do intend you can just message them and tell them the code join code and then yeah I'm look again it's been 20 less than 24 hours so I am personally excited to try it I have I really
Starting point is 00:23:50 want to play like right now as we sit here yeah I really want to get back home to to play the game I mean yeah it's at the end of the day it's a new cod so it's going to be fun yeah right like it's going to be fun for sure like especially if you're just playing it for fun yeah you know I'm saying but like I just feel for I feel for the pros that are I don't know about to go through two years of this shit. Yeah. Like, there's just certain things
Starting point is 00:24:10 that I think should just be changed so it's just a better league. Like, there's just, I just think there's just a lot of fluky shit right now and it just never should be how it is. That's just dumb. And I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:22 Who cares? I'm a Halo bro. Yeah, that's right. No, no, no, you're not. You are a Halo world champion. That's right. That's right.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Damn. But, for real, I mean, like, I'm not just trashing cod just because I'm not playing anymore. Like, I want it to be a good cod. I would like to play it. Like,
Starting point is 00:24:37 I would like to want to play it. It's just like, I don't know, man. It just seems like they keep doing these weird little things. Like, no red dots. Like, what the fuck is that about? And, like, the one highway map with all the cars. Just like, dude, are you serious? But, I mean, it's only been 24 hours, so who knows?
Starting point is 00:24:54 Yeah, the thing is, like, I mean, this is the final game. Like, yeah, they'll, what can they do, right? You have two years to fix this thing, and they're not going to do the things that need to be fixed until two years from a... If I am going off of historical facts, this is what is going to happen. I can guarantee you that by the time the first major comes along, on that day, there is going to be an update for that game. Oh, yeah. Guarantee it.
Starting point is 00:25:23 It is something that they do. They're just like, oh, when you, would push this updates? They can wait. They're like Apple. They don't want to do USBC because they don't fucking want to. They'll have the same thing. They can do it whatever the fuck they want, but they're just going to choose to do it. at a certain time.
Starting point is 00:25:38 And another thing, too. Just the updates during tournaments, remember? How they'll push like an update for a gun? Oh, no, no, I meant like Apple, but... Oh, Apple is, Apple has... They just announced that they're going to switch over to USBC. Oh, okay. I was just going to say, like,
Starting point is 00:25:55 I mean, the developers, at the end of the day, like, there could be a lot of things wrong with the game right now. It's so far down the priority list. Like, all they care about right now is Warzone and making sure that Warzone 2 is successful, which is what they should care about. Yeah, right? So it's like I don't blame them for that at all. But from what I hear is shit I mean from what I watched it didn't look that great. I thought the better words or the first
Starting point is 00:26:15 wasn't better or it looked better but yeah that's all they care about right now like up until that's released we're not going to see any major changes anything to the game. Yeah, it's crazy because the little changes that people that I guess we asked for are like tiniest shit like bro turn the fucking footsteps down a little bit. Yeah, go there, whatever fucking switch it is, just tweak the knob a little bit. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I don't know. Again, I personally feel that until I play a couple of matches, I'm not going to, I need
Starting point is 00:26:49 to play game battles matches. And I just got the load out from Dashie to see how fun it is. Because it is the only thing that I have fun playing. I was, my first game playing S&D, I dropped 12 kills. I'm like, I can't play against these noobs. Put me against someone better. have fun when I'm losing but there's a hope that I can win that's the only time I have fun really yeah like a three five three six yeah like yeah it's like you can come back because I
Starting point is 00:27:16 choked through those rounds and then you win that round it goes four or five and now you just extra crap yeah the thing is it's like I also I don't know it's I just haven't played pubs since call 34 it's just not my thing I don't go for nukes I don't go for weapons I don't do like any of that stuff so they better they better do something about the the dead silence like ASAP and also like the the Model War for two stuff like they better they better switch it up
Starting point is 00:27:44 the other thing is like people were surprised at the fact that none of the progress that you made in war zone is going to transfer with you none of the weapon unlocks like none of those things are you're going to have to work for them again and I'm like you guys are rookies like this has been a thing from the beginning of time you want your fucking gold gun over yeah
Starting point is 00:28:01 like no I don't know if there's um I didn't see like a leaderboard's thing Like I feel like that's such a cod thing that they just took out the past couple years Like your pub stats Yeah, yeah yeah yeah Like why is that gone? Well, Because of bullying
Starting point is 00:28:16 Because of bullying What? Bullying. They don't want people with bad stats to be made fun of How do you know about that? Well, no, because that's because I'm a bully. I bully people when they have bad stats. Do you have bad stats?
Starting point is 00:28:29 Unless I may not be pro-level good, but I'm fucking level good. I remember I did flow for my war zone stats one time in the middle of the MW season, there was only one person that was negative Kadian Warzone. That's me. I also didn't play the war zone a lot.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Did you see how many hours I had? You've seen me play. Don't play me. You've seen me play. You've seen me play. And I'm also not going to be judged by some fucking world, two-time world champion.
Starting point is 00:28:53 What the fuck? If I went out into the basketball court and I shot a three-pointer and I bricked it and fucking Clay Thompson's like, you suck. You're a fucking pro player. Doug, Clay.
Starting point is 00:29:04 You know what I'm saying? The fuck? You shouldn't miss and you miss all the time. I think we shall see. We have a, we'll take a quick commercial break after this, right? We're hosting a Halo Invitational at Eastport Stadium in Arlington. The dates are, if I am correct, December. Like the 9th through 11th.

And the 9th is going to be a close event while we get the seating and all that stuff done. I literally just made that part up. sometimes like Michael Scott sometimes I start a sentence and I don't know where it's gonna finish but I get there um yo was this Brad's first uh championship not championship world championship yeah uh and then other the rest of them also right um I mean you obviously
Starting point is 00:30:22 talked to them backstage and and in a more private setting how hype were there oh dude yeah best moment of their life real humbling moment just for me to be able to see that yeah really happy. Starting point is 00:34:20 Did you see Elon Musk walk into the Twitter offices? That's so cool. I can't wait for the cool Twitter updates. What did he? what do you think's going to happen bro it's gonna be cool shit yeah a little cool shit that i'll be like yeah let me go back on twitter yo imagine imagine right let's say for whatever reason i invested super early into every single crypto and i became a fucking mega billionaire right how much was twitter 20 billion 40 billion all right let's say for whatever reason
Starting point is 00:34:54 I had $90 billion and I'm the one that bought Activision. Let's say you're the one that bought Activision. What is the first order of business? Wait, you can't just put Activision? What would you do? Well, first I'd need a week. Like, whoa. Okay, first of all, you're not running the business.
Starting point is 00:35:13 You're going to hire a CEO to do that. I mean, I would look out for my people. Like, I would make the updates that my people want the community. I would immediately cancel all, everything. and be like, we're going back, we're going back to Call 34. Immediately. We're not, we're only playing Call 334, period. All the weapons, everything, hex is back.
Starting point is 00:35:34 That's the first thing that I do. But what is one change that you would, like, would you not, would you not just pick one single department to run esports and they have all the say in however they want to run it? Would you not want to do that? Yeah. No? I would combine the three cod studios.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Okay, you will combine the three cops studios. You guys work together now. Okay. Make me a good cod. Make me a good cod. And if you don't, you're all fired. All of you are all fired. Well, speaking of fired, Elon Musk, takes over Twitter,
Starting point is 00:36:09 fires the CEO, the CFO, and the chief of legal counsel on the first day. That's difficult. He literally walked in. Did you see how he walked into that place? With what? He had like a, I don't know what he's holding. He was holding something. Yeah, he was holding like a toilet or something, right?
Starting point is 00:36:25 Or sink. Oh yeah, sink. Why? Why? Why? Because when he knocked on the door, somebody said, let that sink in.
Starting point is 00:36:35 Okay. Right? Let that sink in. I love that. Let it sink in. He just bought Twitter. He's fucking one. I own Tesla.
Starting point is 00:36:45 I own the boring company. I own SpaceX. And also Twitter. The best social media application out there, period. No Facebook, no TikTok. Twitter is where it's at. Twitter is where it's always been.
Starting point is 00:36:59 that. Especially now where if you click on a video, you swipe up and you get all the other videos. Just random videos from other people. That is the fire shit right there. That's what I've been waiting for. Does he have the power to just delete Twitter if he wanted? Yes, it's his. And what if he does that? What if this is all like a huge thing just to delete Twitter? He hates Twitter. Yeah, let me burn 70 million. Billion, $70 billion. Let me burn. When you got that much, when you got that much, you ain't going to care. Yeah. I don't know. Could you do that? He can do that, right, Matt?
Starting point is 00:37:31 Yeah, he can do what fuck you? He owns it. Turn it off. Is he the sole owner? Yeah, right? Did he take it private? Is my question? So how to...
Starting point is 00:37:41 I don't know either. So whether he does it, he could. How does he buy it? So they say, okay, $40 billion. Now tell me what he does. He calls his bank. He cashes in a bunch of shares from Tesla, get some cash, and Elon Musk closed a $44 billion deal.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Where does it go, though? Paypal? That's what I'm trying to let. Yeah, like, bro, we're talking about 44. Like, where is it? Coming in a lump sum of $44 billion to one person? Well, not to all the shareholders. So it's a whole bunch of people there are getting in there.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Okay, so Twitter will not operate as a private company. So anything that you... So first of all, within the next week, guess who's coming back? Donnie. The fuck is on. Big T. Big T. What?
Starting point is 00:38:20 Big Donny Trump. He's back. Speak your mind. This is America. I think Kanye's going back. Kanye is for sure back with his fucking wild ass. He's, wow. Dude, he says wild shit.
Starting point is 00:38:33 He's been saying some wild shit. Look, oh my God. My thing is, I don't have a thing, actually. You know what? I'm going to sit this one out. I'm just going to keep discerving. He's, what a, what a moron. I'm just going to say, I understand the, the wants and the need to elevate your people
Starting point is 00:38:55 and looking at the Jewish people for inspiration as to how they run shit. But he went about it the complete opposite way. Let me let me make them out to be. I'm not saying that they're not, right? I'm sure that there's just like there's bad Mexicans out there. There's bad Jewish people out there. Okay. But for him to just blanket statement like that on everyone,
Starting point is 00:39:19 I'm just not, I'm just not going to get into it because it's just ridiculous. Adidas dropped them. Okay. Nobody wants to work with him. Yeah. Apparently, they removed them from the billionaires list because he's no longer making that, you know, that sort of cash. Who knows? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:39:38 I just don't know how this story unfolds for him or what the end goal is. I think he pushed a little bit too hard in some cases. And I don't know. I don't know. I don't even want to think. And to be honest, I don't even want to fucking talk about it. Wait, this podcast is sponsored by Raycon. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:56 Ray J's stuff. Rage's. I was just smiling thinking about it. Yeah. Ray J is funny. Yeah. I don't know, man. It's ridiculous the shit.
Starting point is 00:40:08 A genius. Obviously, a true genius. But he just fucking wild out. Nobody cares how genius you are when you're just not a good person. Not treating people the right way. That's true. At the end of the day. What do you think, what do you think Elon should do on Twitter?
Starting point is 00:40:23 What's like the first thing he should do? It's obviously unbanging everyone. Well, I mean, I don't know about Benning. I think getting rid of the bots would be like a number one thing. Now that he owns it, I think that, you know, when Twitter allowed, and I'm talking just from what I've seen, or my mentality around my limited knowledge on this thing, when Twitter was selling it to Elon, they say we have a billion accounts. If 500 of those billion, 500 million of that billion is bots, then the value is not there because you can't average. ties to 500 million bots, right, because of that. So I would get rid of the bots.
Starting point is 00:41:02 Now that he owns it, I would get rid of the bots. Like, that's the number one thing. I think that I would put some safeguards around, I think, heavier on hate speech and a clear outline of what is considered hate speech because nobody fucking needs that shit. We should be better. And then just, I don't know, let it evolve over time. He's going to hire the new CEO who the fuck knows who that's going to be.
Starting point is 00:41:26 CFO and Chief of Legal Counsel, like, who knows, I think that the developers who already worked there are still going to continue to work there. They're still going to continue to make the changes that they need to make, make the app better, sort of evolve into what it is, prepare for Web 3, whatever the fuck that is. If you look at Web 3 and what that's going to facilitate for creators is that you, for example, you have 800,000 followers on Twitter, but you don't own that. If Twitter gets deleted, you have, you lost that communication with your fan base now, right? And if that was the only thing that you had there, like that goes away.
Starting point is 00:41:55 Web 3 is going to sort of allow for you to have like this like a true community that you can communicate to and then you would own that relationship instead of having a middleman like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and all these other places and platforms. So I think that I would assume that he's going to prepare for what Web 3 is going to be how it's coming along.
Starting point is 00:42:14 I bet you he fucking knows more than anyone what it looks like. And yeah, I think I think sad. I think overall I think Twitter did need a little bit of an overhaul just simply because of the way that shit's been going on in the past. We'll see. Not saying that Trump shouldn't have gotten banned for lying about COVID shit,
Starting point is 00:42:34 COVID stats and all that shit. I don't know, just a little bit more of a... And I'm not saying that he's the only one that fucking lied on there. I get on there all the time and say, I'm the best sniper that's ever fucking live.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Anyway, Train Rec announces that he is starting a new streaming platform to revolutionize streaming. I want to know what he's, means by revolutionized streaming. What can be revolutionized? I mean, look at him. Look, look up.
Starting point is 00:43:01 He knows what the fuck's going on next. Yeah, he can see the future. Look at him. He's a G. I'm not going to lie. Yeah. He's a man. Look at where he lives.
Starting point is 00:43:10 Yeah. He's got a pillar back there. Every time I, every time I like see a stream or go to his stream or see a video, I'm just like looking in the back like, damn, that shit crazy. Uh, Trayorichy's a revolutionary feature for his Twitch rival. Oh, for Twitch, his rival, for his Twitch rival. Yeah, he make a Twitch rival. He's making a Twitch rival.
Starting point is 00:43:30 I believe so. Trayor opened up on further about his new platform during his October 24th stream, where despite only confirming he has plans a week prior, confirming his plans a week prior, he believes that he could have something announced in early November. There's one feature that I have in mind, where this feature alone, when I announced it on Twitter, that alone is going to revolutionize streaming train set.
Starting point is 00:43:51 It doesn't matter whether you hate me. or love me are neutral with me don't know me that motherfucker is going to blow up wow that's some that should be interesting I hope that he revolutionizes something that'd be sick yeah that'd be pretty cool
Starting point is 00:44:06 what what sort of features can be added to a streaming platform like what's missing right now I mean aside from like I'd being able to set up the stream I don't know how to do that couldn't stream this morning because Matt fucking broke that shit that's a FaceTime Yeah, you saw the video.
Starting point is 00:44:27 I sent you the dude that last night, like Nick. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I don't know, man. I don't know. What do you think about that? What do you think it could be? You stream.
Starting point is 00:44:40 I don't know. I mean, I was just thinking, like, what I would want if I was, like, not streaming on Twitter or something and, like, was like, oh, that's a cool feature, but I can't really think of a cool feature. Same. You know what I'm saying? Like, like something new and cool. I don't know
Starting point is 00:44:55 I guess we'll see All right I think in closing we just Talk about something fun Have you been watching House of the Dragon Never watched it Never watching Game of Thrones either No
Starting point is 00:45:04 Jesus Christ You did right Yeah you watched everything So you did watch it Yeah House of the Dragon Incredible Fountain first season Fucking loved it
Starting point is 00:45:14 Very very I waited until The eighth episode that came out Before I hopped on And watched everything In like a two-day binge I was so So what is House of Dragon about?
Starting point is 00:45:24 House of Dragon takes place 172 years before DeNaris was born. He's no, DeNaris. It's basically before Game of Thrones. 200 years before Game of Thrones. Yeah. I don't know. In Game of Thrones, they always talk about the past. So this is like one of the times.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Bro. Like show you the past. Bro, think about this. Reality. This is a reality that's going to happen. And I've talked about this on the podcast before. There is going to be born someone in the future. Let's say live, right?
Starting point is 00:45:46 When she turns 21, nine years from now. She's going to be like, I want to watch a series. And then she's going to be like, I'm going to be like, watch House of the Dragon. She watches that. It's going to be fucking gangster. Obviously, we already know. Season 1 is fucking incredible.
Starting point is 00:46:00 But then when she's done with House of Dragon, she goes into Game of Fucking Thrones, bro. Into Game of Fucking Thrones. By the time she's, like, older, she might be able to watch, like, the other ones that are, like, I saw TikTok about, like, the other potential shows that they've been talking about doing. Like snow.
Starting point is 00:46:14 Which is, like, I think, like, the next on their list. And there's, like, a couple other ones, like the Golden Empire. And then there's one about, like, like, the Egon the Conqueror, the initial Targaryian conquest. That's what I want to see.
Starting point is 00:46:28 Same. With Ballarian or whatever. Yeah. That'd be sick. Old Valeria. Yeah, she might be able to watch like fucking ten different versions
Starting point is 00:46:34 of the fucking Chargherma. What I'm hoping is that obviously as Game of Thrones continues to evolve and grow, I want them to don't take this the wrong way, nerds. Hey, fucking please don't take this the wrong way
Starting point is 00:46:45 fucking dweaves and geeks. Okay. I want them to think the way that Marvel thinks and they create an actual universe where there is outside like instead of movies there are series that sort of take you through that thing what they're doing right now I want them to expand into the valerian I want them to expand into
Starting point is 00:47:01 the snow I want them to tell me the story of how stark I want them to tell me like all of these like incredible I want to see what happened how the night king became the night king you know what what led to that like what was that what was that that lifespan of his that led him to be that that's what I want to know that's what I want to see I agree um But, you know, how long ago did Game of Thrones End? How long ago was that? Like 22, to 2019, maybe. 2019?
Starting point is 00:47:32 Maybe. Literally right here. 2019. Matt, next time we'll just say 2019. So 2019, it's a three years since. I haven't, I've had the urge to restart it. And I've rewatched it recently. Have you?
Starting point is 00:47:46 I've rewatched it for the whole thing. I'm trying to finish it. Where? It's, I mean, in my place. Yeah? I mean, do. Bring back my fucking. Supreme Virgin Mary fucking Blanky, too.
Starting point is 00:47:56 That doesn't exist. I rewatched it from start to finish and watching it in like fast succession, you realize how good the show really is. It's so good, man. That's what I mean. It's like the best show at making you like excited for something that's going to happen in the future.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Like they're just really good at like building up shit and like not so much like cliffhangers but more so just like you just know something's coming. You know there's going to be an inevitable battle or like, you know. conflict that's like going to be really crazy and they always like deliver except for last season but we need to find a creator we need to find a creator that is super into it
Starting point is 00:48:32 that has read the books and has had these like Matt are you what are you showing me right now who okay time the fuck out well that's because the last season first of all what's number one on this list planet earth two that's a good series it's a good series but it's
Starting point is 00:48:53 it shouldn't even be in this category though it's a documentary that's a yeah this documentary Okay, let's go down this list so we can get pissed off, okay? Breaking Bad at number two, I love the series. I'm okay with that. Are you okay with that? I'm okay with that. Okay, not me.
Starting point is 00:49:10 Very good. Okay. Planet Earth, 2006, Band of Brothers, really good. Chernobyl, really good. But to push Chernobyl number five over season one of, um, uh, HBO, what's it called? What's it called, Matt? For detectives?
Starting point is 00:49:27 True detective. No. No, no, no, no. First of all, the way that you do this, and I think that I'm going to do this on one of those ranking things, Matt, write this down, please, and set it up for me. I want to go down from studio to studio. I want to HBO Studios, Chernobyl, the Wire, the Sopranos, Game of Thrones.
Starting point is 00:49:47 HBO's got a lot of good ones. Yeah, Deadwood. How to Make it in America. Rome, for fuck's sake. One of the greatest shows of all time. I want to rank them that way. I don't want to lump them all together and then just make it look like that. You shouldn't have documentaries in the same category.
Starting point is 00:50:00 You should not have documents in the same one. I agree. So they have your noble Blue Planet number two. Like Blue Planet, I mean, it's got a snap. Yeah. You like nature? I've watched all the shit. You like nature.
