Starting point is 00:00:00 Did you guys hear that the government, that the White House is ordering anybody that has a federal job to remove TikTok from their phones? Really? Yeah. So, are they insinuating that there could be spying going on through TikTok? 100%. 100%. Using like location services? Location services.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Accessing the microphone. Accessing the microphone. They access to microphone. If I say the word cat, I open TikTok, cat. Dog, dog. What? Dude, dude, that never happened to you? I'm never on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:00:29 That happens to me on my head. You can be talking about something you've never talked about ever. Jump rope. You go on Instagram ad for jump rope. You're like, what the fuck is going on? We say Wadaburger, like if we're ever craving it, boom, Wadaburger commercial on TV. I am. Listen, I am okay.
Starting point is 00:00:43 I am okay with that. We won't say we won't talk about Wadderberger. We say it one time, I swear to God. Two commercials later, Waddle. Welcome, welcome to the Optic Podcast episode number 113. This episode is brought to you by Shopify Best Spoke Post and that is a It, I will say bespoke post is one of the best things ever. They send you like little machine.
Starting point is 00:01:15 We'll talk about it later, but I'm a big fan because they'll send you like machetes, send you like scissors, knives, like outdoors dope shit, flannels. I can get down with flattels. I'm a flattel guy. I woke up. I'm indoors most of the time, so that's not for me. I woke up with not just a neck crank, but a full on back thing that's going on. Co-host today is my man, Zinney.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Money Biscuit. scumper jumper and let's get it going gentlemen you guys have been killing it on the on the on the watch party and you guys just announced that you guys were going to be doing a separate show something that you're breakdown you are witnessing a break down a breakdown full on breakdown yeah so obviously we we we're excited to see that the success of your show has been obviously phenomenal, very happy to be a part of, was very happy to be a part of it in the beginning. Super thankful that you came along because me said,
Starting point is 00:02:14 no bullshit, my hips because of my age or because of the fact I'm just fat and don't exercise. Your hips don't lie, man. My hips don't lie no more. Shakira was right. Anyway, it was taxing. I couldn't just sit there. So I'm happy that Zinn came in.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Great, great reader of ads. Oh, I'm a good ad reader. Yeah. If you're not an optic name. member. I mean, we're looking at double luck. If you're a subscriber, double luck, you're getting quadluck, give you're both. That's not an ad review. That's to both worlds. You're pitching something. A little bit. I guess. I mean, it's not even pitching because they're legitimately getting a better chance to win giveaways. So it's a fact. You're doing them a favor.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Exactly. And they get exclusive content. And you might want to sign up for, you might want to sign up for gold now before I raise the prices on that with the amount of shows that we're about Elon that shit. I'm an Elon Musket. You're not going to get verified on Optic Nation. But we are coming up with a bunch of new shows that we've been ideating for a very long time. What is the new show going to consist of? So the new show, it's kind of daunting at the moment. Is this before the episode? Is this releasing before the break-down episode?
Starting point is 00:03:24 We don't want to release too much. I mean, we can talk about it. Wait, yeah, just don't say anything. Just don't say anything too crazy. So the show is pretty daunting at the moment. This weekend, it's only going to be on Sunday. We're still deciding what we kind of want to do past this. weekend because today is the, is it the inaugural show? Is that, is that the right word? Yeah. So it's
Starting point is 00:03:43 our first show. It's pretty daunting. There's a lot of editing that's going to be going in behind it. There's, uh, it's segment based. I mean, we can say that, I think. We're, we're cool to say that, right? I mean, we wanted to do something that was, like, unique and it's going to require, like, our entire week this week. A lot of our extra time is going to be spent, like, refining the show and making sure the first product is as good as possible. Is it a live show? Yeah, so it's going to be a live show and that it'll live on other platforms after. And it's unique because it's going to live in a different way where you'll see like the full
Starting point is 00:04:20 episode uploaded somewhere, but we're also doing it in a unique way where we can take micro parts of the show and upload that as like standalone kind of videos. So I'm really excited for what we're doing because we've been talking about. this for like months. Like before we both even retired, like we're going to start a show one day and we're going to do it, uh, in a way that e-sports has never seen before, or at least call of duty. I don't know if esports, I mean, I'm sure there's been some shows similar to what we're trying to do in all of these sports, but I feel like the production and like what we're doing with it, I mean, it's, it's going to be insane. I'm, I'm a little bit nervous just because there are
Starting point is 00:05:02 so many moving parts in it. Like, we have editors. They're going to be working on stuff pretty much in real time and trying to flip it and turn it around because it's so unique because other like shows they have a little turnaround time. Ours like after the matches, it's going to be like five minutes and then boom, we're into our show. So we don't really have much time to turn everything around and like get all that shit done. So it's going to be interesting. I mean, it's going to be insane. I think I'm excited, but I'm a little bit nervous. I'm so excited.
Starting point is 00:05:31 What I like about it? So excited. You have a little hair right here. Do I? You look like a. Arthur Shelby. Sorry. Great show, by the way.
Starting point is 00:05:39 Peaky Blinders. That's one of the best shows you can watch. I just finished it yesterday. Thomas Shelby as a character is like a top 10 TV character. He's unbelievable. We're trying to capitalize on live and also like Vod after, but we're really trying to like do a show where there's a lot of like fan interaction too. So we have like, I think I can say we have a segment dedicated to everybody,
Starting point is 00:06:00 like the supporters watching where we're going to like. I was going to call in. we're not going to say too much yeah we don't want to give away too much well just so you know I'm gonna call in if there's a call and I'm gonna pretend to be little timmy from ohio let's just say it's gonna be unlike anything they've like my eyes are melting we hope well we we know and then we're just what we what we envision right now it will be different than anything and luckily we have the best people in the business working with us because we had like it's one thing to have the idea and like and say we want this this and this
Starting point is 00:06:30 and it's one thing to have people who can make it come to life. And if it was just me and you working on it, I mean, you'd be looking at a completely different product. So luckily, we have Riley, Matt, Raj, we have editors behind the scenes working on it. Like we have a full-on team that are going to be working on this. I wouldn't say that they are the best, okay? Even if they are, you don't tell them that,
Starting point is 00:06:49 because then they're going to be complacent. They're not going to do shit. Matt's over there sitting, shaking, shaking, but you never give them props like that. You want to keep them, you know, like, we have above average folks in the industry working on it. I mean, these guys. They've been putting their best foot forward.
Starting point is 00:07:03 But yeah, nervous but excited. And we'll see you Sunday. Yeah, it's going to be dope. So what, so what's happening? So we're not this weekend, but the following weekend is our major. Is that all set up? Is it clear for me to come in on Friday, only be on Friday? And then the rest of the weekend, obviously, I'll be with the team.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Well, so our watch party, yeah, the watch party, we've already been planning for weeks. Watch party is going to be all taken care of. As for the show, we don't. really know because we're obviously using the equipment in that in our production room over there. So I don't know how the show is going to work at events. I don't know if it will. We'll have to figure that out. The show will work at events. You think so? Like our full show. I think the set might look different, but... Not if you put a green screen behind it. I think the way we're setting up the show, I don't see why I think we could do it anywhere, just kind of have a little bit of a
Starting point is 00:07:56 different look. I am personally very excited because the amount of experimenting the amount of experience that we're going to gain, the amount of mistakes that we are going to have to get through in order to get to a proper show. I hope there's not mistakes. No, there's going to be a little bump in the road. Of course there is. And everything that we've done, I think about the- Well, we're staying extra three days this week.
Starting point is 00:08:15 So like today, after content, we're staying extra Friday and Saturday. We're running mock shows. So, like, we're like really, we're trying to iron out because it's live. If things start messing up live, it's not easy. That's what sucks. Yeah, it's not easy to, like, sit there and... Flash raid bows. See you next weekend.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Hopefully it works. So we really got to make sure everything's in working order. So that's why I'm a little nervous. I'm going to take a moment right now to give you all the props in the world. You just retired and now you're working just as hard as you were in the past. I think I'm working harder. Yeah, go on. I think I'm working more hours now.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Yeah, go on. Well, I hate talking about this because then you have the construction workers in the chat. I wake up at 6 a.m. and I, you can't talk about our line of work without people saying you're complaining or it's every, every job has like their way. You're getting so tight. No one said it. There's not even.
Starting point is 00:09:07 No, they will. No, do every time I talk about like the hours I'm putting in or whatever, it's like, yeah, but you're playing a video game. That is true. Like yesterday we were both off and we were on the phone for like probably four hours each. He was at my house. We were out by the pool. We were on the phone for like four hours each trying to nail shit in.
Starting point is 00:09:22 I'm so, man. God. Guys, imagine having to work pool side. with margaritas because I know yeah yeah we're drinking listen it's a really didn't yeah it's a right we actually didn't not until not until the very like end of the day we we started watching uh
Starting point is 00:09:36 we started watching stuff then we started having dazed and confused oh I saw it you owe me five bucks he he just bought he goes hector needs this movie on his thing and this fucking Chris let me guess because he's on the pine part and the fact that you don't have days to confuse
Starting point is 00:09:50 is criminal already yeah I don't I've never watched it you have to it's right up your alley it's like a owner movie. Yeah. You would fucking love that shit. I think my stress was higher when I was playing because it's like six to eight hours of intense like stress scrimms where you got to be on.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Yeah. But now like I'm putting more time in because I'm trying, I'm trying to stay consistent and upload a YouTube short and YouTube video daily, a TikTok and a reel, as well as stream, do content, do the shows, do the watch parties. So I think hourly, I'm definitely working more hours like around the clock because now I'm like in so many better days ahead now where we're trying now that I'm retired I'm trying to like put more effort into that it's it's more hard work ahead that's what the T-shirts are say yeah but better day but there's always struggles ahead there's always better days ahead now without the bad ones there's
Starting point is 00:10:39 bad days ahead exactly it might take a month a week a year but at some point better days are coming amen amen to that I'm positivity uh okay so now you can put it into perspective he was doing the exact thing that you were doing but then on top of that he was streaming and on top of that he was doing the content that we do here so you can't say that you're working harder than him I never said that you just said didn't he said that he's like I'm working harder he never said you just said I'm working harder when I said I'm like I want to give you a process because you're working harder than ever and then you said uh Matt no I said no I said I'm working hard when I was competing like when I was I'm working harder now he's not rewind it anyway no he can can we got a cam right here listen I'm tell listen I I don't
Starting point is 00:11:19 it's like he's like I never said that shit yeah I Yeah, I, it's very similar. I mean, yeah. It's not a competition. But if it was, he'd be winning. Well, he's. Yeah, no one could out work. It's not a competition.
Starting point is 00:11:33 Whoa, whoa, whoa. Oh, my bad. Let's calm down a little bit. Yo, Bose, why don't you tell, to recap our weekend in Colorado? Because I think that he needs to know, and he needs to know the adventure. It looks fun. Listen. Hit him.
Starting point is 00:11:51 All right. So first and foremost. that we were flying good that was a good time it was nice and quick no security just there when we got there it was still a little bit of a vibe everything was still going good we got there
Starting point is 00:12:05 landed hopped in the shuttle took off immediately until I looked at GPS and that shit said like a three hour drive and I'm like whoa whoa whoa whoa like three hour in the plane three hours in the car is back to back adds up you know what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:12:20 so I'm like so we're on a drive bro we stopped dispensary that took three hours to get there i mean it's it's a whole lot of things i could just go on but fast forward it was more in car time travel or get into the shuttle no uber's work at it past a certain time we had to walk to a bus stop like carrying what luggage who's luggage the sisters the boat house sister we had to walk to a bus stop get on a bus get on a bus well they they they They hauled their luggage for the majority of the time. And they helped us get there.
Starting point is 00:12:54 They got the map and stuff to get us there. But we had to walk in the snowstorm, find a bus, then get on that bus. How cold was it? It wasn't that bad. Well, because you were later up, but like, what was it? Like 13 degrees? That's kind of crazy now. But it was a different.
Starting point is 00:13:09 It wasn't Chicago 13. It was Colorado 13. And there's a difference. It's funny. It was, if you told us this story 10 years ago, it was like, not as cold. If you told us his story 10 years ago, it's just like normal. now it's like you had to walk to a bus stop. I haven't been on a bus.
Starting point is 00:13:23 You couldn't get an Uber. Well, no, you couldn't get an Uber. I know, it's like, four and it was like, what, nine o'clock? So we, think about this. What city were you in? Aspen? Dylan. Dillon.
Starting point is 00:13:35 We stopped at Friscoco, Colorado. They have a friscoe. Really? Yeah. Were you close to Aspen? I don't know. We were close to Breckenridge. Yeah, I don't know either.
Starting point is 00:13:45 But so anyway, go on. So then we had to go on. So then we had to go to the bus. And we were, the, the, the, The guy said, there's a bus coming in seven, oh, there's a bus coming in 10 minutes. It's a seven minute walk. Yeah. Through the snow.
Starting point is 00:13:58 So we had to make sure. Literally, as we were getting there, the bus pulled up past us and we had to like, like, little. Like in SpongeBob? I had to run. Oh, you're going to a rock bottom? Yeah. You cannot.
Starting point is 00:14:09 You remember that episode? Yeah. So we got on the bus and we still don't know where we're going or how we're getting back to where our hotel is. This whole trip would have been phenomenal if we still. We stayed on the reservation, but we didn't. We stayed far as hell away. Two buses we had to take unless we had an Uber.
Starting point is 00:14:27 And even with the Uber, it was like a 45 minute drive. Sounds like y'all had some trials and tribulations out there. Oh, dude, but it was so late. We were so tired, bro. I had two percent. I had to be like, here, give me that. I texted Jude. I'm at one percent.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Was it the Wild West down there? He put me in a group chat with Jude and shit. He's like, yo, this is Bose number if anything happens. Really? Jesus. I'm always prepared. That's good. I'm always prepared.
Starting point is 00:14:48 But it was fun? I definitely spent, think about it, we spent two on the plane, three driving, another three. Bro, we spent a lot of time traveling, waiting for shuttles, leaving there. Leaving there's another hour if there's traffic. It was more, yeah, there goes Nick right there. Like, come on. Colorado? So while we were there, we had like an incredible time, obviously.
Starting point is 00:15:16 One of my duties and responsibility. And as soon as we landed, I'm like, I'm not corporate hacks, okay? I'm influencer hacks. So I was making no callouts. I wasn't helping anyone. Yeah, that's true. I was just doing me. My job that weekend on the first day was to do a meet and greet.
Starting point is 00:15:36 And then the second day, I had to do food reviews on the thing. There was a talk to. You got to do. I got to do. Yeah, no, I got to do. I did a podcast with Sean Malto, super cool dude. that's going to be coming out later this week. And then we had to walk up this like super, oh no, that was the third day.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Yeah, the third day was the worst day, but also the coolest day at the event. But the worst day travel. Tell them why. Bro. First of all, I, Hex had on the nice shoes for it. But, bro, you know how it was on an incline, but, bro, it's not like a little one where you could just, it's one of those where if you make a wrong step, you're going to slide back and slide down a little bit. No, not a little bit.
Starting point is 00:16:13 You're going to all the way to the bottom. Yeah, you're going to slide down. I mean, I would have slid that. No. We saw people doing it at the end, like they would just slide down. Yeah, but they had, they had snow gear, though. I saw you rolling down. Run.
Starting point is 00:16:24 Yeah, I did that to X. I was like, yo, watch out. And he ran out the way. Yeah. He got so scared. I had already thought about it because I had two camera guys like next to me that we didn't know. And one of them slid and I'm like, ooh, what would I do in a situation like that? I can't jump over him.
Starting point is 00:16:37 So I just got out of the way. So when he's like, yo, I was just moved out of the way. You got scared as hell, bro. I did. I'm not, bro. You're way the fuck up there. I'd be shipping my pants up there. Yeah, I almost...
Starting point is 00:16:50 It's not like scary, it's just like you're watching something on a slant while I have air forces on. It's not an incline like this. You got no traction. It's not an incline like this. It's an incline like this. Yeah. Now, once I reach certain heights, I'm like...
Starting point is 00:17:04 Like, we were on a ferris wheel in Seattle and I was started closing my eyes. I could. I could, but like, it was more of like, you would just randomly get out of breath out of nowhere. Like, like, I'll be watching it and I'll be like, shit what the hell just got the wind knocked out
Starting point is 00:17:18 because the air's dinner oh my god it is it is uh it's crazy one of the people that we met with an executive from Mountain Dew had a had an apple watch and he said that his oxygen level just plummeted the second that he landed there's I don't know how people do the things
Starting point is 00:17:33 any activities at that level because as I was trying to fall asleep all of a sudden I'd be like I would wake up and no bullshit I was like I literally felt as though I had sleep apnea yeah that's a good point in the morning we have people snowboard and shit like competitively like nothing dried out everything is dried out in the morning yeah they had nosebleeds a mile high city Denver right
Starting point is 00:17:53 Denver Colorado yeah and I remember we were in Seattle and I was trying to like run and we I was like 30 floors up which is probably not even close to a mile but like and it was like it's hard to breathe up there yeah and I was like why do I feel so out of shape and it's because we were so high up and it didn't click in my brain until after I was like oh that's why yeah you cold what's What's going on right there? What I mean? Your posture, it looks like you got boobs. Right?
Starting point is 00:18:17 Do I? Well, I got... This is a little bit big off me. That's the new fire available at our major in two weekends. All right, so on the third day, the best day we're filming the competition. They're doing crazy-ass stunts, except for one dude. No, I'm kidding. He did good.
Starting point is 00:18:32 But when we got out of there, okay, on the way up there, the Uber driver tells me, Mark and Nick, yo, is like, you guys are making it just in time because there's a massive snowstorm coming. Yeah. And we're like, Bose is like, damn, that means that we can't leave at four. We got to leave at two. And. PM or PM? PM after the event.
Starting point is 00:18:51 And Raj set it up for 3 p.m. Well, guess what happened? We got in there. We sit in the shuttle. We're sitting down as the same driver that drove us when we got from the airport. And we sitting there, he's like, going to be four hours, man, if that. Yeah. And everyone looking around like, four hours.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Bro, what? Because there's snowstorm. It literally took us three hours. And guess what? Our flight was at six. How far away was it? Like, are we talking like? We were getting there at 629.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Our flight was at 625. If the flight coming in wouldn't have been delayed, we wouldn't have made it. Yeah. So it got delayed and y'all got blessed. We got blessed by 25 minutes. But then, tell them what I have. On the, like coming in, landing. No, don't tell me.
Starting point is 00:19:34 He would have cried. Brother. Don't tell me any plane. Sideway, son. No, I stop. Like, all right, I was sitting in my seat straight. But when I looked to the. the front of the plane.
Starting point is 00:19:43 You can see it was like on the slant like this. It was the whole the whole time. The second that we entered the Dallas DFW airspace, we landed at a different airport. But immediately it was like, it was like this. And then I'm not, I'm not bad about turbulence anymore though.
Starting point is 00:20:01 Bro, I'm like, I was like half asleep and I remember thinking to myself, I'm like, man, we're going kind of fast right now. Because you felt everything like super fast. And sure enough, I open my eyes, I look over it.
Starting point is 00:20:11 I'm trying to, I'm like, ooh, but I'm really a little bit like tight. And as we're landing, it's like, ff, ff, ff, f f f, f, f, f, f, f, f, and then we landed like this sideways, and then v, woo, woo, woo, woo. The lady, the lady when we landed, the stewardess says, we were almost rerouted to Austin, which would have made, think about this, right? We hop on the, on the shuttle for a four-hour drive to a three-hour trip. imagine going through all of that
Starting point is 00:20:41 and then being rerouted to Austin I swear the travel days out of here have been just insane every time we travel out there's always something just insane I don't know what's going on or this winter it has been impossible to like get in and out it's like
Starting point is 00:20:57 everything's been weird you guys had fun though overall oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah ate good good food there yeah yeah no what we had really good food At the restaurant that we stayed in, it was called Kuchu.
Starting point is 00:21:12 They had like bomb saviche out of nowhere. They had this wrap. It was like a steak wrap. A steak bagaeta wrap. So, bro, it was, bro. He had it twice. Yeah. Back to back days.
Starting point is 00:21:23 The wings. The wings. The wings were phenomenal. Oh. And, and. I feel like that's the most important part of traveling. The food is got to be good. The food was good.
Starting point is 00:21:36 I love eating the new place. That food would ruin the entire experience. And. To close a loop on this thing, it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been at. Like every footage that you see about the mountains does not capture the grandeur of these massive, massive. Dude, me and Hax literally watch the snowstorm come in over the mountain and cover the mountain. Disappeared. The mountain disappeared. Really? No, that was dope.
Starting point is 00:21:59 It was so, so sick. Congratulations to Big Optic Formal. Yes, sir. 3P. Chant. Lucid. Trippy. APG, the purest gangster
Starting point is 00:22:10 Audemal, three Pete champions. I mean, I don't know. I mean, up until a certain point, obviously, Shotsie had a world championship in Call of Duty and also in... That is true. Yeah, so a little bit, come on it.
Starting point is 00:22:24 Yeah, that is difficult. Yeah, just wait until I come back, though. Woo! Shee! He's never coming back. To Hela? Yeah, he's never coming back. No, he's not.
Starting point is 00:22:35 No, he's not. It's the warlord right there. Ladies and gentlemen, the little warlord. His nickname, the warlord? That's what I call him. All right. Because he seems all innocent and dumb. He's sick.
Starting point is 00:22:46 He's sick. He's sick. I did miss our matches while we were down there and I obviously didn't get to travel with the team to. And we didn't have no connection. Huh? And we didn't have any. Oh, yeah. The connection was, again, most beautiful place.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I am so thankful for the opportunity to go and hang out with my friends doing some cool shit. The travel stuff needs to be. fixed next time though otherwise I'm not coming you know I need I need to stay at the place so that I can we had like a three hour gap at one point and we were just like exhausted you know it would have been fire though if those all those spots stayed open late
Starting point is 00:23:19 like that would have been a good area to like kick party and shit like it's like a little ass town like the stories don't even look real you know just just picture this like this entire area the thing the the stadium our building Dallas no smaller literally this block
Starting point is 00:23:35 but with little buildings in between and they're all restaurants. It was like a little like outlet. It's like a little village. It's like an outlet mall. Yeah, it was actually. Yeah. And it was it was good. And again, every night that I got I got back to the to the hotel bro, I was exhausted. They served drinks and like fucking animal bone casks. No, that would have been cool. No, they served them in metal. It was crazy. Again, it got to like nine at night, but everybody because of what they were wearing and I was obviously coming super fresh.
Starting point is 00:24:06 everybody was wearing like their snow gear they were sitting by the fire we had smores was it like was it like wooden lodge type vibes like not the hotel on the outside yeah the great world lodges yeah like the yeah some of them on the outside yeah on the inside it was it was it was really good uh again different world it was yeah it was a different world where everybody was wearing their winter gear and their goggles and it was it was really good so awesome it had a really really good time up the content's there Yeah, so we're, Colorado. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:38 So you guys got to do the watch party on, for both Cod and Halo, right? Yeah, we actually, it was dope. I mean, we, we, the scheduling kind of worked out almost perfectly. So there was a delay, LAG's power went out. So they moved, because L.A.G London was the first match. But then their power went out. So the matches got delayed until 3 Central. They usually started two.
Starting point is 00:25:03 And then Optic took over as the first match. because L-A-G had to play at LAT's facility, so they obviously had to, like, they were just all over the place. They had to, like, get up and go. Yeah, they had to get up, go set up. I mean, make sure all their shit was working. And then so we got to watch Optic versus Rocker first,
Starting point is 00:25:21 and then Optic just smoked Rocker, which worked out perfectly. Masterclass. Yeah, they looked amazing, which worked. You to everybody who likes to just immediately say, ma-ma, ma-ma. You get it so tight. Because it pissed me off.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Oh, don't, mate. I mean, that's just how it. how it is. That's just how Optic is. You gotta get used to. There's only like 15 of those POSEOs. Aside from that, everybody's cool, everybody loves us.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Focus on those. So, people love you. It worked out perfectly. So we watch Optic. They 3-0 rocker. And then we prioritize, obviously, Optic Halo over the rest of the matches.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Because the next match, I think, was Seattle versus Florida, which, like, that's not really that crazy of a match. So it was like, we missed the first map of the grand final. Phase 1, the first map against Optic Halo. And then after that, it was just a smoke show. We got to watch pretty much. the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:26:07 We had hell of people in the stream. I mean, I think we had like 50, 50,000 viewers around watching Halo. That's good. Yeah, it was dope. It was a six series too. I think it was like 42 to 41 last map team slayer in the first best of seven.
Starting point is 00:26:19 So Faze wins that. They forced the second best of seven. And everyone's like, that Faze roster, they dropped lethal, I believe, for Renegade, who's regarded as like one of the best players in the world. Top three, easily. So people were calling Faze like the Avengers, and then Trippy just snap.
Starting point is 00:26:35 Yeah. And just, I missed it because we were like, we didn't have connection. We shot Formal's body. What happened? Renegade shot Matt's body and then obviously Matt chirp back after they end up winning. That was dope, man. It was a great day. I mean, that was a great entertainment day.
Starting point is 00:26:50 What did I bring up that tweet that Formal said? That show was pretty good. We had Optic Halo grand final, which they end up winning for the three Pete. We didn't watch the Jake Paul fight, but that was on as well. What else was on that day? I think there was one more thing. It was Mavs Lakers right here. Avs Lakers were right here at 2.30.
Starting point is 00:27:07 That sounds like a great-ass day. Yeah, so it was a great day of just like chilling, watching. And it was the perfect day. I mean, Optic Cod one, Optic Halo one for the three-peat, which is insane. Congrats to those boys and congrats to formal. I thought it was. Oh, here we go. Here's the guy shot my body and started tweaking, I guess.
Starting point is 00:27:26 A, 1.3 million views. Geez. So, yeah, that's for me. I mean, he was already the FPS. I mean, multi-fPS, oh, just FPS, yeah, yeah. Well, multi-fPS goat.
Starting point is 00:27:41 And, I mean, that just solidifies even more. So congrats to him, congrats to the team. I mean, it was crazy watching because phase went up 2-0 against them in the winner's final. And it was like, it was looking slow for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:27:51 Phase looked really good. And then again, Trippy kind of just snapped. I think it was map three. He started like four and like 15 or something. He ended the map almost like even. No, positive. From that point on,
Starting point is 00:28:04 he just was snapping the rest of the tournament. And then I think he got MVP, right? Yep. Trippy got MVP, so. And that was well deserved, dude. Because usually every time I would watch, Lucid is just like far and away, just like a god amongst men. And then Trippy, like, I've never seen.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Tripp is nasty. I've never seen someone outperformed. Like, just because that guy is dropping like 1.5s consistently. I'm like, dude. And then Trippy, literally. He was 3 and 14 in that CTF. Snap and was like the best player I've ever seen. It was unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:28:34 So it's dope to see because now, yeah, it's three-peat history and Optic Gaming. So we had a three-peat on the COD team, I think, in like 2015. Now, I think this is the most recent time someone's three-peated because, I mean, it is hard to three-peat. Nowadays, yeah. In any, in any esport, it's hard to three-peat. Wait, also, I'm pretty sure, like, the next two or three-a-events are in Texas. All three of them. So, like, hopefully, schedules line up, and we can go there and be there in person.
Starting point is 00:28:59 So this is what, man? What am I look at? The Optics' three-peet history. in AW. We did it three times? Yeah. You had a four Pete in Black Ops 3. What?
Starting point is 00:29:12 I thought we only did it once. No, you're nasty. And I don't think you're never seen. That's not that. It's not that impressive. And I did it three times. I don't think you'll ever see a three Pete and Call Duty ever again now.
Starting point is 00:29:22 Nah. Never again. You can see it too. I can foresee that my team at some point will have a three-peat. You never know, but it's like so much harder. It's hard, yeah. With the infrastructure of Call of Duty now and everyone is like, everyone is fighting.
Starting point is 00:29:39 Gears, look at gears. Gears also. Wait, wait, wait, this is all of, so it wasn't just you guys that did that. No, yeah, gear. Oh yeah, I completely forgot. Gears 4. We had the Invitational, Columbus and then London. And wait, is this back to backs?
Starting point is 00:29:50 Wait, what? Wait, what's Gears for? What am I looking at, Joe? Okay, three seven, three feet. They were dominant, bro. Invitational Columbus, Atlantic City, Paris, Las Vegas, Reginals, Dallas, Dallas, and then Mexico. Is that five? That's five?
Starting point is 00:30:05 A five Pete. That was a five Pete. New Orleans. And also there has to be a call duty in Mexico City. There has to be a call duty event in Mexico City. Oh my God. And obviously I'm not from that region of Mexico. So it's like a different, you know, different set of cultures and norms and all that
Starting point is 00:30:21 shit. Not completely. But the food there's completely different than it is up north. Right. Up north has the best food. But this place was really good. And then Halo 5, St. Louis, regional's worlds, infinite Orlando worlds and then Charlotte.
Starting point is 00:30:32 I didn't realize there were so many three peats. That's actually. That's insane. Yeah. I mean, history. That's optic, man. Hashtag optic.
Starting point is 00:30:41 You know what I'm saying? I mean, she. Yeah, that's history. Congrats to them. I mean, that team is gross.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And hopefully they continue their success. So it looks like their next land is Dreamhack Dallas. How long of a break do they have to their next one? This is the Dallas right down the street too at the convention center at the Omni. So you're going to get to go to. We will be going to that. We will be going to. We will be watch partying.
Starting point is 00:31:06 We will be watch party. Bring it up. From the, go ahead. Listen, you can, from June 2nd, the owner's box. You got to get the hot wings at the owner's box. If you guys are traveling here or if you guys are from the area, when you're staying at the Omni, because there's no better hotel in the world than the Omni, you stay at the Omni and you have three restaurants.
Starting point is 00:31:24 One of them is a five star steakhouse. It's all right. But to the right of it, it's a sports bar called the owner's box that has the best hot wings in the history of Hot Wings. What? Wait, it actually ends up. working out so perfect because the last major for COD, Major 5 is Toronto, and it's May 28th. So we're going to go May 28th in Toronto to going to, I'm assuming we're going to watch party at the HCS event.
Starting point is 00:31:48 So we're going right from Toronto event to the HACS event. We're going to go from Toronto event straight to, straight back home to Dallas, but we'll be straight to the halo event. You should have and then we're going to have champs probably like two weeks after that or. You should have Shotsie do that watch party with you guys. Well, they're going to be preparing for champs. Oh, I thought Okay, that's what you meant. It's Toronto, it's Toronto Major 5, and then Dreamhack, and then Champs will probably be like two weeks after Dreamhack, because it's usually like two weeks after the last.
Starting point is 00:32:13 Wait, what event isn't happening? Then the events. Well, now it's Columbus with no fans. I think we're still going to go to that. Are you? I think so. That wasn't the plan? Go to what?
Starting point is 00:32:24 So Columbus, no fans. Yeah. Because it's going to be, I think. World of beer? Bob. It's not near there, but. Standard Hall. Should we drop?
Starting point is 00:32:33 I think they. What else happened at World Warland? What's wrong with you, dude? What's wrong with you, dude? Sending me up. All right, what were you saying? But I was going to say, I think that they... Because they got tore up from the floor up. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:32:45 I don't remember, I don't know if they've announced the venue yet, but it'll be, I think it'll be cool for us to be there because we'll have, like, very hands-on to the players. And, like, if it's the same venue, I don't know, have they announced it. I don't know if they've announced it. I think it's... They haven't announced that I don't think.
Starting point is 00:32:58 I don't think they have, and I don't want to leak it, so, but it'll be hands-on, and I think it'd be... to Columbus, Ohio. Yeah, I think it'd be cool for us to be there. Okay, okay. And I love, we love Columbus, dude. Standard Hall. See you there.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Columbus is a good time. And it's going to be during, uh, just about summer, right? It'll be. Yeah, it's not going to be cold. Yeah, it'll be creeping up on summer. So I think that'll be a dope event, uh, at least for us. I mean, obviously, no fans there kind of ruins the immersion of the event, but it's better that it's on land than not, but still, like, I would have loved to see a way
Starting point is 00:33:25 to figure out a way, even if you had to, like, like, I think Boston was willing to, like, like hosts an event at their land center and have like some fans. So I would have loved to see fans there. But at least it's on land, better than online. Yeah, 100%. Yeah, yeah, yeah. People ask me why we didn't volunteer. What more do you guys want us to do?
Starting point is 00:33:45 God damn it. Dude, I mean, I would have loved two events here. I think we have the best events. I mean, it might be a little bit biased. You're not. I don't know if the players would, do you say that we have like the best major? Yeah, because the venue is actually an esports like venue and you have like dedicated player rooms like the problem is because a lot of players complain about venues now but it's like you can't
Starting point is 00:34:04 blame the organizer because you're renting like a sports venue or a theater or a concert hall like they're not esports venues the sports arena is equipped to like host yeah you have a big practice room you have it's literally an esports arena so that's why it just it's the best so is this gonna be set up better than the chicago one we're supposed to have which one the huntsman Yeah. No, nothing was nothing would have beat that ever. That Hansman won would have fucking slapped.
Starting point is 00:34:32 That's like 7,000 tickets or something, right? I don't know what I'm talking about it. Two days. Yeah, that was going to be great. Before we move on from the Halo stuff, what do you think it takes to consider a team, a dynasty team? Um,
Starting point is 00:34:47 I don't know. There's a lot of criteria. Dynasty win multiple games. Yeah, but it's like weird because they're winning across multiple years, but it's the same game. So it's like, it's weird. But it's not the same game. As you know, as a College of Duty player, you know that Infinity War, Infinity War? No, it's the same game. They added a couple
Starting point is 00:35:07 maps, but it's still the same game, but I still think I think they're well on their way. I mean, if they I mean, if they secure like, I don't know how many more Halo events there are, but if they win like two more events, their dynasty. Yeah, it's like, I mean, even right now you can argue it. They just won three p.
Starting point is 00:35:26 Champs is involved in that. Yeah. My question is, how many players do you need for the dynasty? But it's longevity. Do you need all four? Yeah. Consider it a dynasty? I would.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Because I was, I was talking about it like, I was using Simpebusian Selium as an example. Like, is that trio a dynasty or are they a true? Like, that's a restart because of slasher? Exactly. I think you can say that it's like a godlike trio, like, but it's kind of weird to like consider it a dynasty unless it's the full team. Because it's like, because the dynasty is longevity across titles as a full team. team.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Yeah. The chemistry is obviously that trio is disgusting but they've obviously swapped out Alec now for slasher. So I don't know
Starting point is 00:36:03 that's weird but they're definitely gross and they also didn't win in Vanguard. I would just use them as an example like can you justify
Starting point is 00:36:10 like a three player dynasty or does it have to be full roster? Full roster. I would say full roster also. All right. Let's take a quick commercial break let's a hello to the sponsors
Starting point is 00:36:19 and then we will be right back. Cha-ching. Resurgence Solos removed fan outrage. I mean, why are we removing resurgence from Warzone? It's like, it's resurgence solo. I don't... Just solos. Oh, just solos? Oh, that's not that big of a deal, but still why? I mean, I'm sure it is because like, think about all the people that don't have groups of people to play with and they just want to run solos on resurgence and they take that away.
Starting point is 00:39:46 It kind of... Yeah, but you can run in squad, no, squad, squad, No, because sometimes you don't want to communicate. You're down in someone instead of full killing them is. I guess, yeah. You're relying on your teammates at that point. If they're not your boys, you're like, you're playing with random people, you know, like, I could see how that's definitely frustrating.
Starting point is 00:40:04 I mean, especially if that was like the mode, I haven't really been keeping up with Warzone really at all since season two came out. Not a lot of people have, unfortunately. Yeah, so I could see how it could be frustrating. You don't know what I want to see actually just happened. like cut the losses, do whatever, bring back Verdansk with the new weapons, all that. Almazra is cool, but like people loved Verdansk. And that was like, I think nostalgia, because like the COVID era was like the war zone era.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Everyone was in playing Verdansk. So I think like bringing back Verdansk, well at least bring a certain player base back to where it's like, at least for a little bit. It's like, oh, Verdantz is back. Let's go play. And at a certain distance, a sniper rifle should be one shot. And at this, at a certain distance. If you are across the map and whatever, every single time that Call Duty gets brought up,
Starting point is 00:40:55 I get this high pitch on my voice and I'm like, I don't understand why. Call of Duty does the shit that it does. You know, especially in moments of weakness, right? Especially in moments where Wars and it's not having the best go at it right now. So for them to remove the servers for this thing, for whatever reason, like what is the reason? That's what I don't get.
Starting point is 00:41:19 For the longest time, all I've always said, I'm like, we, I think the community as a whole would be more willing to be understanding if there was something to understand. But when there's no clarity and there's no reason, I get it, it's your game, you don't have to tell anybody shit. But how about, you know, we didn't see that many servers, blah, blah, so we're only going to have, it's going to be tough to get in there, so play something else. In moments like that, I think it would benefit the overall company if they were just, give us a small reason. We've seen them remove playlist before
Starting point is 00:41:51 that people really enjoy it. I mean, they do it all the time and it's like... Makes no sense. Nobody asks for them to remove the playlist. So unless it's like a server issue or...
Starting point is 00:42:00 Has to be. It's like their servers are just being stressed or something. I don't really understand it. Don't allow you a mindset. I'm gonna cut you off. I was just gonna use an example for like iron trials.
Starting point is 00:42:10 Like people loved iron trials because it up the health and people were like, this is more of a skill gap because that's what people wanted to see in Cod. They did this in Verdeans. and then they would remove the playlist indefinitely,
Starting point is 00:42:21 not indefinitely, but they'd remove it for a period of time, and people lost their minds because that was like a main, it's a featured mode, but that became a main mode for people and a lot of people. Is that like some kind of tactic? Yeah, maybe they see like high population in the server, we're going to remove it so they start playing other modes, but it's just like, why piss people off? If they're playing war zone, they're playing war zone,
Starting point is 00:42:41 who pairs which server they're playing on? They care. But we also don't know the reasoning, so it's kind of like, because they never tell us. the reason. Yeah. It's the one thing that's crazy. Like in the college community, you figure out everything besides this kind of shit.
Starting point is 00:42:54 You never have the answers to this. No. My fuckers never know. Why is it a secret? Why is it a secret? Why do they remove the red dots? Can somebody just a simple statement? And we just let it go under the rug.
Starting point is 00:43:04 No one knows. A simple statement. We believe that the, that players should be good enough to be able to, then why have a fucking mini map? No, I'm pretty sure they said it somewhere where they didn't want players to get hunted. Like they want. wanted to give the casual new player, like, so they're not, I'm pretty sure that they said it somewhere where like, with red dots, you can go like hunting and the better player will kill you,
Starting point is 00:43:26 but it's like throwing a silencer. Yeah, I was just thinking. Yeah. You got to use a silencer, bro. Throw on a silencer. Throw on a silencer and get better. Create a separate playlist. TDM bare bones where, like, like, dude, don't get me started because we're changing grassroots
Starting point is 00:43:42 features that legitimately have no reason to be changed from the outside looking in besides helping my grandfather get kills if he were to play. The devs apparently want players to use their map awareness to know where enemies are coming from instead. Yeah, that's fine. I get, again, if it's like that and that is the reason, then fine. I get it. Like I said before, it happened in Call 34, ProMod.
Starting point is 00:44:05 Like, there was never no red dots. But there was also never, it was all iron sights, unless you were a scope. So I get it. I just don't understand why not, why, why, not take guidance from the people who have worked endlessly for the last decade to build it up to where it is. Was that a roast? Unless you're a scope. Was that what they call people who use scope? No. Like scope? That's what I do. That's why
Starting point is 00:44:32 I do. Unless you were a scope. A sniper. Scope. No, I know, but is that like an insult? Unless you were a scope kid? Nah. I would have said like a steady aim kid or a sniper lobby kid. Do I stand kid? Oh, don't get me started on that Yeah, I don't, I mean, they're trying to get people To use the compass, which ain't nobody I don't even know it existed. I never, I don't think I've looked at it once
Starting point is 00:44:54 No. Compass. Cellium is, hold on, 30 degrees north. Yeah, no, fuck do I look like. This isn't war zone. Like, we're not marked a shit. He's going to be right in front of you. Yeah, second.
Starting point is 00:45:05 We're not marking shit. You guys have seen that TikTok, those TikToks where they're like, your husband says he's bad at communicating or he can't communicate yet when he's playing Call of Duty, he is 200 yards, right window on the top left of the yellow building. Right. It's like if he wanted to says he would, speaking to TikTok,
Starting point is 00:45:21 did you guys hear that the government, that the White House is ordering anybody that has a federal job to remove TikTok from their phones? Really? Yeah. So are they insinuating that there could be spying going on through TikTok? 100%. 100%.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Using like location services? Location services. Accessing the microphone. Accessing the microphone. They access to microphone. If I say the word cat, I open TikTok, cat. Dog, dogs.
Starting point is 00:45:48 What? Dude, that never happened to you? I'm never on TikTok. That happens to me on my TV. You can be talking about something you've never talked about ever. Jump rope. You go on Instagram ad for jump rope. You're like, what the fuck is going on?
Starting point is 00:45:59 We say Wadaberger, like if we're ever craving it, boom, Wadda Burger commercial on TV. I am. I'm okay. I am okay with that. We won't say we won't talk about Wadaburger. We say it one time, I swear to God. Two commercials later, Wada burger. Personally, I'm okay with that.
Starting point is 00:46:13 I like that the algorithm is helping me, you know, get what I need. I'm like, man, I'm out of toothpaste. And all of a sudden, Alexa is like, here's some toothpaste. Order it. Boom. You said you don't mind it? No. I don't really mind it either.
Starting point is 00:46:26 I mean, but I'm also not a government official. Right. With, especially like right now when there are those balloons that the Chinese balloon, spy balloons and all those stuff. I didn't even, I saw, I read a little bit about it, but like what? There were just balloons that they were spying? I don't even know. they can claim that they were from from china like how the fuck do they know the only for me
Starting point is 00:46:47 watching all the shit i watched and bullshaded and research the only thing that makes me like gives me red flag is if they're like mapping shit out yeah you feel me getting like coordinates yeah yeah that will be the only scary yeah but i can i can i can go on google it's so easy i can go on google maps right now i can go on my on my maps right now and get the topography of an entire city yes and in all of its landmarks but it like it's different how because like they don't know what it actually looks like now they have now they can literally see it like you know what I'm saying I don't know they say that they were trying to it wasn't necessarily about recording or taking pictures of certain things so we're trying to do a dry run to see how we
Starting point is 00:47:29 would react to it this is you didn't like it we didn't like no we did not don't don't peep in time on us did not like that the other thing the other thing is is like there is something to be said about how they magically appeared at the same time that they There's this, like, massive, incredibly bad shit happening in Ohio with that train derailment. Oh, yeah. I keep seeing, like, I keep seeing on, like, Twitter and shit with, like, all the conspiracy accounts and stuff. Yeah. It's like, this was the most massive shift of power and wealth and, like, shit, and all of this stuff is covering it up.
Starting point is 00:48:02 I have, I'm rank play. I always see that. Yeah, same. I don't know what the fuck's going on. Heardessing. Who needs one? I mean, I don't know what's going on either. I just see, like, the one-off thing on, like, my 4U page of, like, Twitter.
Starting point is 00:48:12 It'll pop up and be like. This is a major shift of power. Don't make a theory about anything now. Hurricane, this is what's going on. It's all distraction. There's like literally. Maybe we need to open up that third eye. Big shoes?
Starting point is 00:48:24 Hmm? Open up the third eye. Oh. And become woke. Yeah, yeah. I don't, I don't know. There's the thing that worries me the most and it does worry me and I mean this is the fact that no one, like there's no sense of urgency, no sense of fear.
Starting point is 00:48:42 there isn't there there's no questioning all these things right like it's like oh there's a balloon up there they shut it down no one is like seeking out answers not that they should i don't i don't care government i don't please i don't give a fuck okay i'm just i mean at least if anything goes down we know we're in texas everyone's going to be in together i feel like we're desensitized to like the world now yeah it's like it's like everything is so normal now because of social media and how frequently you see things well special effects movies uh radio it's like when when the government came out and said it's like there's unidentified vehicles fucking flying around and we don't know what they are. They did that after hiding it for 50 years to allow humans to be sort of conditioned to know that there might be UFOs out there.
Starting point is 00:49:28 Here's the movies. Here's what they look like. Here's what the aliens look like. Some of them are good. Some are bad. So then when they really come out and you really start seeing it, you're like, I've seen that shit. I've seen in high definition of my theater room. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:49:38 Like, it's not that big of a deal. which is why they finally came out and said that. So did they do the right thing? Maybe you have to think about the implications that back they, call it 60 years ago even, if aliens were discovered and they were proven to be alive, then the entire human population, whether you are a religious person from here or a religious person from there,
Starting point is 00:50:01 all the religion goes out the window. And there's nothing more dangerous than religious people being told that what they so wholeheartedly believe in may not be real. It's proven that it's not real. I think social media has like just desensitized where it's like we don't have like attention spans anymore. It's like this crazy thing happened. It trends for a day.
Starting point is 00:50:22 It's done. It's talked about for a day. Next crazy thing happens. It's like there's no like extended focus anymore because we're conditioned to. TikTok did that. I think all the shorts. Everything did that. YouTube shorts.
Starting point is 00:50:33 Even attention span. Dude, look at the, look at the biggest celebrities in the world that pass away. It's such a shock for a day or two. Life goes on. It's just like attention spans are so short. That's just like the natural order of life. So that's maybe a bad example. But it's like, oh my God, crazy storm.
Starting point is 00:50:49 Talk about it. That's terrible. Next thing. Next thing. Trending. Next thing. It's like there's no extended conversation anymore. COVID is not even in the conversation.
Starting point is 00:50:58 Shotsky's had COVID like seven times. Yeah, I know. But like as far as people speaking out about it on Twitter every day. That's because the information, that's a whole different can of worms where it's like, we thought it was one thing. It's a different thing. There's so many different things. opinions on it and I think we're still trying to figure out what the fuck actually happened or what's going on.
Starting point is 00:51:15 I think they just now discovered something about where it originated maybe. It wasn't Wuhan? It was a lab leak in China they were saying. I'm not sure Wuhan, but... Why the fuck were they making that in that lab anyway? I mean, that sounds like to start to a fucking... Dope-ass movie? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:29 The Last of Us is here, baby. I still haven't watched it. I'm waiting for it to be done. But I think it's all relative also, right? Like I think that now because of how much older you are, specifically in this case me, everything you just, it's so much shorter because the weeks are shorter, the days are shorter because you've experienced so many of them. You know, when you're a kid and you're two years old, you've only had two years.
Starting point is 00:51:49 So one more year is like another one of half your lifetime. So it's always going to be like a very long time. And the more of these one years that you go through, the easier the years become. It just goes faster and faster because you're your, your experience. life differently. You, when you get to be 43 years old now, you've done 43 years. So they're shorter. Everything becomes shorter because you're going by faster. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. Your days fly by. I think my days are flying by now. I'm 25 and I feel like what's going on. They're only going to be faster. It's so weird. The question, because you're, you experience like, you experience like different
Starting point is 00:52:27 errors of the world kind of where it's like we kind of grew up in social media. Yeah. Back then. Way back then. Back then, you read a newspaper where you watch the news. And then it's like you're talking in real life to people about this shit. You're calling on a house phone. I feel like current events or like crazy things were talked about for longer and like we're more like surprising. And now it's like you just have so much access to the entire world. This happened in China. This happened here. This happened here. Holy shit earthquake here. This guy did this. This guy died. It's like this rapid just like information. I need to like get I need to turn my phone off. Yeah. Dude, I would love to. I feel like that's why.
Starting point is 00:53:05 I feel like that's why time flies. Yeah, I think it's everything, right? Growing up in an era, so my high school, the internet became a thing for me in 1997. It's a senior, it's a senior in high school. I was born. Like yesterday, we like just hung out. It was our off day. We sat by the pool.
Starting point is 00:53:23 I mean, we were like on our phones, like having conversations about things. But like I wasn't on social media really at all. And my day felt hell along, I swear. And it was such a good day. Yeah, it was. Because it was nice out. We were outside. soaking up the sun and the hot tub, you know, just chilling.
Starting point is 00:53:38 I wasn't worrying about my phone, and it felt like it lasted so long. I think we'd have more fulfilling, longer, like, stress-free, mentally better days without social media. But we have to be on social media. I have to be talking editors. Twitter, like, kind of dropped out of my... Sending a tweet. Really?
Starting point is 00:53:58 I got to, I, like, for some reason, I'm not on Twitter as much. Like, when I'm on it, I'll interact and do shit. But, like, as far as me, like, as me, like, I'm not. like going on there and scroll in the timeline, I don't really do it no more. Well, look, they're also changing it. Like, now I have a for you page and it's like, bro, I was on that for the longest and not following. Like, why would they put, why would you put the four you to the left and following?
Starting point is 00:54:17 This is my biggest right to it. Yeah. This is my biggest gripe with social media. Every single social media is trying to be the same or like each other now, where it's like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, all does shorts. Like, I'm sure Twitter's going to incorporate shorts at some point. So like, literally every app's the fucking same now. Every video you uploads a short on Twitter pretty much.
Starting point is 00:54:36 Unless you're uploading like a five minute thing. No one does that. But like there's no standalone apps for different things anymore. No. Instagram is essentially Twitter. Twitter is essentially TikTok. They're all the same now. TikTok is Facebook, Facebook and it, it all.
Starting point is 00:54:49 There's no identity. It's like you pick one and you can do everything from that one app now. Yeah. I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't like it. Remember on Instagram you used to just take out a picture and just snap a picture your Arizona can? Like, bring us back.
Starting point is 00:55:03 I'm embarrassed. You look at the start of my Instagram, bro, it's like the dumbest pictures. It's like now it's the best error of it. Now it's like if it's not professional, you're not posting it. Like a picture of a pine cone. It's not like a professional picture. You're not posting that. You'll post it to your story, but you're not posting as a post.
Starting point is 00:55:18 There's no way. You know what I'm saying? Back then, picture of a pine cone, LOL caption. People are liking it. Now you've got to do hashtags to hit the algorithm. You got to tag certain things, share it to your story for more. It's just a different era. It's taxing.
Starting point is 00:55:30 Anyway, like I said, I had a really good high school. experience personally. I would relive it any day of the week. But we didn't have the internet back then. You know, and it's, it's, and back then you had shit like,
Starting point is 00:55:44 faces of death that you would have, faces of death, you know what that is? No. Face of death is a, it's like a mixtape of people dying. Right? And then you had things,
Starting point is 00:55:54 yeah. I think you told me about this before. And then you had Camp Kill Yourself, CKY with the, with the guys from, from Jackass. Like the original, where Jackass came from,
Starting point is 00:56:02 like that was a thing. in V. You're talking about like first gen world star hip-hop like that. Yeah, but worse, right? Because it was, anyway, it's crazy. And if you, if people had phones back then, you don't think that people would have tried to replicate what they did and would have gotten like, well, I got to outdo party boy jumping off this cliff while taking a shit in mid-air. Because that did happen. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, that's impressive. Social media has changed the world. Social media. For the better and for the worst, I think. We weren't in it crazy. Well, no, we got a great dude. Here's a difference. We were outside.
Starting point is 00:56:33 playing with friends growing up. Yeah, yeah. Now you're seven, you have an iPad. You were outside? I was a big kid. I didn't get big until I started gaming a lot. But like I played sports. I was outside all the time.
Starting point is 00:56:43 I played sports growing up. I had a group of 10 friends. We'd try to be like the Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. We're spearing each other. Like it's just a different. And now, like dude, I used to knock on my neighbor's door. Can Ray come outside and play today?
Starting point is 00:56:56 Now you send a text, what you're doing. Like it's just, it's a different error. Dude, I don't like it, man. Ice cream truck, like baseball snack. I'm sure some of these things still exist. Nachos at baseball games always went insane. The hot dogs. Sebastian Mascoco.
Starting point is 00:57:09 You know Sebastian Madagosco? The Italian comedian? Yeah, you know. He has a great skit where it's like 20 years ago, someone knocks on your door, you're excited. You get the dessert, you have company. Now someone knocks on your door. Who the fuck is that?
Starting point is 00:57:22 Get the shotgun. Who the fuck's knocking at our door? It's just like the world is changed. Unannounced. Yeah. Yeah. The visits don't happen anymore. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Visits don't like unannounced visits. Say, hey, we're in the neighborhood. Is this came by to say, guy. Now it's like, I haven't cleaned the house and shit. I don't know. House phone. I remember the RIP to house phone. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 00:57:43 To close a loop on TikTok, Canadian government has already banned it on all mobile devices. On all of them? Already banded on every single mobile? There's no way. So Canada doesn't, just governments? Yeah, just government issued.
Starting point is 00:57:58 I don't mind that. You know. Keep that shit secret. If you're working in the White House, maybe you shouldn't have apps that maybe could be listening. Yeah. I think we should end it on a good note. And by good, I mean, good for this dude. Fucking Kai Sinat shatters the Twitch sub record from a sub-a-thon, which is pretty much Kai amassing an impressive $270.
Starting point is 00:58:23 What's he at right now, though, man? Is this live? He's breaking the record. He's breaking the all-time record. He's going to break the record. Ludwig? Ludwig. I would say today.
Starting point is 00:58:33 Ludwig had... 11,000 subs to him, like, right now is so doable. Yeah, yeah, 100%. Yeah, he's what? 9K away? He'll hit it today. He's got 39,000 people watching him. He just woke up probably.
Starting point is 00:58:47 Yeah. So what happens when he has a shower? He'll go up to like 90K viewers. I think he has a bunch of friends. Yeah, they'll come in and like entertain the stream, but I saw him one time sharing with Shorthon just like in the show. Yeah, yeah. He's entertaining too.
Starting point is 00:59:00 Yo, he gave you a shout out, right? He voted for you? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. From the old optic days? Hell yeah. He knows us, huh? Yeah, that was dope.
Starting point is 00:59:07 Yeah, hell yeah. The biggest streamer in the world. I saw a ninja, they were like, Ninja talking about it. He was like, uh, remember, I broke the record with no sub-vathon. And he was like, and I kept my sleep. Yeah. I'm like, oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:59:20 The Ninja arc was crazy because it was like Twitch Prime to start it or Gip to just started. And Fortnite was huge and it was like used to, he was playing with Drake, I was the craziest thing. I think he would, I think there was an incentive to stop to him through the game because you got something. in the game if you were a subscribe, something like that. But what's cool about the Kai thing is, so he's huge as is, but now you have like
Starting point is 00:59:41 celebrities realizing what's going on and they're in his stream. So he did a stream with Nav, G Herbo. Yeah, he just did the one. G Herbo was just there, yeah. There's a bunch of people who are like, because everything this guy does goes viral. The artists don't under, they understand it, but now, it's someone else in their ear. Yeah. Telling them, like, yo, he fuck with you.
Starting point is 00:59:57 You better go on. Yeah. Well, because everything he's doing is going viral. Like, he's doing a rap thing with. Nav viral. I see it on TikTok. He's doing, I literally saw a clip this morning of him and G Herbo, like dancing, viral. The one that I saw with G. Herbo's where, where he's, he's typing like a villain and shit. Yeah, that's hilarious. That was hilarious. He's like, why are you typing like that? He's like, but yeah, I'm pretty sure Kai's an optic fan. Like, I've heard him a couple
Starting point is 01:00:26 of times talk about like the optic days. He always says, like when he was talking about you, he's like, yeah, back of my optic days. Like, I think he was like a, he followed it. Yeah, it's dope. Was he an optic? Up to Kai? Could be. That's a question for you. Dude, I, and I wasn't smoking back then.
Starting point is 01:00:43 I don't remember anything. I remember getting a killing Manjaro on the sniper team. That shy town brown. Nah, oh yeah, that shit was horrible. Yeah, I don't know. Those were good sense. We were just talking about 60-50 and something else. I think it was the CSGO House.
