and I'm like alright he's given out points for totals, he's given out two
points for the spread same rules apply. I didn't go through the whole thing well after the first
game they go 0 for 3 so I thought we were doing the same scoring as we've always done
here which I hate by the way but I figured we keep it uniform where they mess up we get
points and all of a sudden Hayes in the chat like read the rule book buddy

Well here's, here's, let me, let me, let me address everything here. Under no circumstance was that ever spoken about noodles.
Well, they were trying to jam me because they had the next game and I'm like Doogie and then he's trying to

bothered me about the whole thing is do he is responsible for the way this show

because I stuck around for an hour after and I got

so this is what we're doing?
In order for it to be a bonus point, you got to get the spread right.
The whole thing of a bonus point is that it's on top of some other accomplishment. That's the whole point

this weekend? Mike Tomlin, Jordan Love, Justin Herbert. Those three, who has to chew on it the most?

Eight years without a playoff win. That's a divisional game and he they got
stomped on Saturday night. They got stomped and they laid an egg tactically and that's
supposed to be his thing. He's your guy. I could not believe it. You know I sit here and even
early on and we did a small thing on Jay, and it's tough sometimes
when it's live, and I wish we could get a little more X and O sometimes, but I'm like
watching Lamar run, and I'm like, this is not a complex run scheme.
This is what, day one of college, I'm learning how to run zone read.
And traditionally, teams don't do it in the NFL because the guys are too fast and they can kind of do a bit of both and

that that was the game plan going in defensively and then the next thing is
you know they're trying to run the ball early in the game and make it this like
old-school Steelers Ravens kind of like hard-nosed football game which I get to
a degree your run game stinks and you're playing
the best run defense in the NFL.
Russ is inconsistent, but you know what he's good at?
Off-schedule plays and throwing go balls.
In the second half, he did it.
They had a little bit of life, little bit, and I sit here and go like, why wouldn't you
sit here and say like, hey, we're coming out here and we're throwing haymakers?
I thought the commanders did that
from the first snap yesterday.
They got a couple breaks, but they're like,
we got nothing to lose here.
We got rookie quarterback, new team.
We're coming out here, great energy.
We're gonna be physical, see what happens.
Where it's like, the Steelers tried to like,
almost get cute, and I'm like, this is not,
this is not how you play the Baltimore.
Getting cute is not a good recipe to play
Baltimore and you said he hasn't won in a while the next thing I'll say why is
chewing on it is where's the fix like I I look at was the fix him getting gas I
think you might be out both the quarterbacks they're gonna wipe them out
again and get two different guys in there I think he might get acts this
time I think he might get acts to a dog and it really I think he's it's
definitely a conversation because I look at this thing and you know
head coaches generally do have their hand in the pot when it comes to the roster.
And I'll say this, I think Mike Tomlin, I want to be very clear, is a tremendous coach
and he's a great reason why they've been there.
And there's not many coaches that can take that roster and go to the playoffs, but I
think there's a lot of coaches that in the playoffs are much more willing to take risks and go for it.
I mean even in the first half, the games certainly get away from it. I know it was
fourth and inches, but I'm like dude this is a Pittsburgh Steelers. Bring in fields
and run your quarterback sneak. Get this first sound. It's fourth and inches. But I
look at this offensive roster and I say okay okay, wide receiver, you got Pickens,
who's an elite talent, he's got a lot
of off the field issues right now,
he's clearly not bought into the program.
After that, it's very, very thin.
Van Jefferson, Mike Williams, Calvin Austin, thin.
The offensive line has gotten better, are they great?
Absolutely not.
Tight end, was a bit of a revolving door.
I like Friar.
Ramon's pretty good.
But he was a bit of a revolving door dory didn't even play every staff it got a
little strange me i look at the runners
i you know are you put nazi harris is a top ten running back
so i sit here then you look at the quarterbacks and you're like okay we
can't go to super old these two guys but see that that is the the other side of
the coin
you you also ask yourself how the hell did Mike
Tomlin get them to the playoffs?
I agree.
And how did that team make the playoffs?
I want to be very, very clear.
I agree with that statement wholeheartedly, but my next point would be what I just listed
has seemingly been them for the last five years.
How has Mike Tomlin not been like, okay, give me a couple more dogs and And now all of a sudden we're going to win this game in the playoffs.
And I even look at their defense.
Like I, when I think of the Steelers for me personally, partially cause I played
against this guy later on, I think of James Harrison, that kind of physicality.
I think of Troy, Paul, Amal.
It's like, I look at this team now, the secondary does have Minka very good
player, you know know the linebackers
Good, you know TJ watt is obviously phenomenal, but more of a pass rush guys not really like
Hey, I'm gonna bow up here like James Harrison
Stop the run talk a bunch of smack and just intimidate everybody on the field
So I I think they've kind of lost their identity a little bit. I'll be very honest
Yeah, I mean I can reason with that
I would answer this question. I would start with Justin Herbert at one
Herbert was horrendous and like the intercept the first interception he threw that was the game the pick sixes
The one pick six was not him his fault, but the other one was his fault
But it's three not they charged down the field the first drive
They they kick a field goal
Then they get it back on a turnover and he rolls out on a play action and throws across the field ridiculous
That is such a horrendous decision
From a rookie a college quarterback wouldn't make that decision
That was the worst play of the weekend totally that one right there was the worst that when they said that when he threw that ball they were up three
nothing like they're done they're gonna lose this game yeah it's a they got
crushed he was awful so and this is some more like but he hasn't been awful all
year Brian he hasn't thrown picks all year he they listen they've run the ball
a lot more there it's it's a in the trenches kind of hardball type for all
he's he's been fine he's been good but this guy's played two playoff games and they've been historically bad. The first one was in Jacksonville where
they were up 27-0 or whatever. And then the other night against a Houston
team that I'm sorry was dying for them to win. Like Houston was awful. They went
like, Punt, punt, turnover, punt, turnover, punt, and somehow 10-6.
It was insane. And to add to what you're saying, so that play you're talking about, I don't know if
we could get this up, but it's a, you know, your traditional role, right, in what you're
hoping for in film and for whatever tale they had, I think it was Quentin Johnson, is going
to sell like he's running it over, and you're hoping that the guy basically undercuts it,
which is something, again, they would have saw in film film in in the moment he gets not undercutting
space
you basically turn around so somewhat of a trick play
the problem with trick plays is if they don't work
you can still throw it
so again i'm not under throw yes a veteran guy sits there and that'll be
the real like a work they're trying to get a home run there
that's why quentin's over there so
he's run this over
they're hoping undercuts he turns around the other way and it's like they're hoping that he's open by 10 15 yards
Like that's how you draw it up, right? He's clearly not open let alone by 10 15 yards
You got to airmail that into the stands put it into the fifth row of the stands and that's not
What is talked to the guy where it's like? Hey?
If it's not there, if you can run,
take some yards, you can do this,

Archie, let me ask you this.
Your boy Hayes is just brokenhearted at Jordan,
loves performances.
He was terrible too. Terrible.
How many years or opportunities or chances
are you gonna waste to look at this guy again
to see if he can get over the hump and play better?
Like, do you give him next year, if he does it again, you're like we got to look elsewhere.
Like what do you do with that guy? How long do you wait for it?
Well the tough part, O-Dog, for me answering that is how long do I wait for it as like
a fan?
Dude, you're not a fan. You're a guy that was a tight end. If that was your quarterback,
would you be like does he better do it this year why I would say yes but the
problem is they're committed to this guy you know they're paid on their paid
them and what's annoying about it for me if I'm in that roster is when you pay is
a 55 mil when you pay a guy 55 million we all take less you know and that kind
of happened with Russ when he was in Seattle as well, where it's like if we're going to, you know, pay somebody on our offense, and
this is not speaking as a fan, this is a guy in the locker room, this much money, he's
got to earn every dollar of that.
Basically like he's got to make me, everyone, not just me, the offensive line, the running
backs, he's got to make everybody else around him better
Because if we were paying a 30 million dollar guy
We'd have 25 million dollars on offense to get better players Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans, correct, right?
So it's like that's kind of what has happened here and I sit here and say like yesterday I
Hated the amount of fight and emotion that the Packers showed.
I hate that was my least favorite thing of the whole weekend.
What do you mean by that?
It was funny because Tucker Kraft said something today in his exit interviews and he was like,
you know, I could kind of feel this brewing.
And I remember sitting there thinking to myself like, feel it brewing.
Like what is what's going on in that locker room?
And what I mean is well like you asked yesterday
I'm gonna go to the commander's bucks game and there's a few plays in it that like jumped off the film to me
Early on first play game or second play the game Bobby Wagner comes down hill smokes Bucky Irving just lays him out
Boom on a blitz. Okay commanders got to a momentum
Clearly, I don't think a ton people thought they were gonna win and then Baker Mayfield came out and was like you guys think you're
Warriors you guys think you battle I don't remember the scramble
I want to say was in second quarter Baker just goes up the middle trucks Bobby Wagner
Yeah into a first down third and short. I think that's the kind of like
Holy smokes like you want to get the sideline fired up. You want to get everybody like that's our leader
When he has that kind of energy,
it is infectious, everybody starts rolling.
And it's an attitude, it's a mindset.
I look at Jordan Love yesterday,
and it's like, I'm not asking him to be Baker Mayfield,
because he's not, as far as that kind of emotion
on wearing it on his sleeve,
but I'm like, where's the fight in this Packers team?
Even late in the game, you know,
the Pack at the ball back, they're down 12.
Things look bleak.
You know what?
As much as I like to poke jokes at Russell, we get the ball back down 12 with three minutes
to go.
Russell's sitting in the huddle frothing at the mouth, and he still believes he's going
to get it done.
And maybe we don't, but maybe in the NFC Championship against Green Bay, when we are down two with
three minutes left, we get an on-site kick and find a way to win that game and it's like men you're getting paid 55 million bucks
Until this game is over
You cannot be sitting out here like yeah, you know got a very nonchalant
By softer vibe to him and you throw the pick late again. Hey, I'm not saying they could have won that game

No sure like that like I thought the Green Bay's defense played out well as you could ever ask them to play

And he couldn't do it and my next thing is like you want to talk about Jordan love and I want to be clear here
I think the guys all the Billy in the world but I look at it and I say all right it's 10-7 Buffalo Denver at the
half should have been 10-10 Josh Allen came out in second half and said watch
this you look at Lamar Jackson I mean he said watch this from regular season
Lamar which is big for him how many times that Patty Mahomes in the playoffs
in any situation be like,
all right, here we go, boom. You know, if you're getting paid 55 million bucks,
you need to have those moments. That's just a fact of the matter. You get paid 55 million dollars,
there's got to be moments in every game where you're like, that is why we pay this man.
And Jordan Love had zero. He had none of it. His it his first throw the game he almost threw a pick high it's a bottle it was an awful throw he like when
we do warm-ups on defense that you think down the field that's what it looks like
the linebackers drop and the coaches throw right their head yeah it looked
like he was doing a practice rep for the defense it was bad man like the the the
numbers on him anything like seven eight yards or more down the field it was it
was abysmal
performance. I just keep going on this ran haze because I know you're a Packers guy. Yeah.
You know and noodles and all that you guys can chime in here because I don't know anything about
hockey but one of the things that really annoyed me and like my also it was tough that I was on
the spread so but your left guard goes down and he's a huge loss. Who's significant.
Jenkins is a really good player.

But now all of a sudden we bring a kid in that I think he had what three holds and six
plays?

And then we pull him and put another guy in.
And I sit here and say like, if you're in that offensive line room, if you're a front
office guy, how do you not know at this point of the year that you're that thin in offensive
line? How do you not know at this point of the year that you're that thin an offensive line get some veteran guy off the street?
That's like listen
We know that you're not in the best shape you ever played
But you're better than this rookie who's gonna come in and absolutely jam us because he's not prepped
Who in that room is not keeping the rookie accountable if you're we used to say this all the time
you're one snap away your one snap away from our entire hopes and dreams depending on you
and clearly in green bay that's not the message
at that really annoyed me to have a guy come in again not expect to play perfect
but to play that bad worries pulled after ten plays whatever was that's that
discuss fifty five million you expect better than man you got you gotta get
way more than that man jordan lovey didn't have a good year
but he took a step back in the playoffs yesterday game was available for him
and he didn't know orman what about the fifteen-yard penalties even late in the
game i'm like that we got a fight here
they stop seqon i think was third down age i thought they handled seqon very
well yeah and they said one guy shoves him to the ground against fifteen yards
and like that smart man so stupid
so i don't think that we'll get too who fumbled the ball right off the start.

Yeah. So dumb. Um, Alan and Lamar, we'll get to Al's brother here in a minute,
but the whole week's going to be about that game. It's the Sunday game at 630.

Like I thought both quarterbacks did exactly what they had to do at home,
took care of it. Easy win. Everyone gets out healthy. Like like it sets up beautifully Ravens bills and I haven't seen the
spread I'm sure it's out is it is it a pick? It was no it what I believe it was
minus one and a half for Buffalo at start you see now and it's flipped to minus
one and a half. Wow how much money came in on Baltimore quick. Listen I could see
if Lamar plays the way he did all year and the
way he did Saturday, it's got to be Josh. Josh Allen's got to have the game of his life.
That's the way I see it. I like Baltimore 1 through 53. I like Baltimore more than Buffalo,
but you're playing in Buffalo. I mean, that's significant.
But Josh can equalize. Josh can be the big equalizer. And the next thing I'll say is
one thing that goes unnoticed with this buffalo bills defense
is that they were able to take the ball away but as far as turnover margin goes
they were number one in the nfl
so now what's on your sit here and if you can somehow muster up a couple
turnovers and josh's plan out of his mind
you're gonna win this game
but that being fit
said i would
definitely lean Baltimore.
As much as everyone's saying,
hey, this is Josh Allen's year, he's gonna get it done,
the same exact thing can be said for Lamar.
Yeah, he's been phenomenal,
and they've been great ever since their buy.
Baltimore has been great.
They've been phenomenal.
They've been on both sides of the ball.
Run defense, they've been great all year.
Second half of the year, their pass defense
has been way better, way better. Offensively, like the idea that you have Lamar and Derrick Henry in the same backfield is...
And Zay Flowers might be back. I doubt it, but he could. And again, even if he's not, I mean,
obviously they want him in. You know, Bateman will take the top off. You got Likely and Andrews
underneath. I think it's gonna be a great game though, man. And like the votes are in already
for the MVP, so it's already been determined. that and i'd like the votes are in already for the
mvp so it's already been determined
and that we all believe lamar's gonna win it i think you will because of the
all-pro
but i will say this that if alan goes superman on and even if lamar plays
great the ravens play great in the bills win because of josh allen voters are
gonna look so stupid agreed because this is what
this is exactly what it is. Like what
Allen can do. Are the votes already in? Yeah, they've already been determined. They're already in. They've
already been cast. So it makes no difference what happens here on Sunday night. But if Josh Allen
does it basically on his own, it's going to be weird to see Lamar, especially if Lamar, and
conversely, if Lamar plays poorly, and Lamar and and i was just okay in the bills when it's
what thing that i i i think is unfortunate
uh... for both teams
this can be very physical like i look at what
buffalo did yesterday
and i think that one of the things i talked about flows are offensive line
really strong very very healthy all the time so it's like talked about in Buffalo is their offensive line. Really strong. Very, very strong. And healthy all the time.
So it's like you got a great offensive line going up
against a very, very good defensive line.
Again, number one run defense in the NFL wire to wire here.
And it's like that matchup is going to be a bloodbath.
And on the flip side, you're gonna have Ed Oliver,
you're gonna have the Bills front seven going up against
Lamar, Derrick Henry, and still a very good offensive line in Baltimore.
It's going to be like, I would assume, we'll see how it plays out, a heavy hitting slugfest, you know, Ali Frazier type situation.
And then whoever wins that thing is gonna have the Chiefs, most likely after playing CJ Strav.

They've been the better team. They've been a much better team all year long. You look at road favorites, they're seven and one on a Monday night football against the spread too.
But ultimately it's top five offense, top five defense, and you look at the win rates,
they are across the board a much better team than the LA Rams as well. And ultimately I think that

Barry Trotz isn't going to move him tomorrow just for the sake, unless the offer is ridiculous
that you try and get ahead of it. I think there would be a marketplace for players like that and the closer that you get to the deadline
