You get one win and all of a sudden you're a serious character.
we're back on track that's what we are we're just back on track what a call last night what a
paul last night parts i can't wait to i can't wait for another weekend yeah it's good fact you gave me
the option too i like how it was like a team deal you said you want to change it you want to go
with those fraud fins go ahead but we just stuck with our game plan we stuck with the
we did it intelligent information and our gut instinct and we went forward with it we definitely
did in honesty parts i just have a great feeling i have a great feeling we're walked back in all it took
was one play and we're just we're back yeah it's a listen it is positive mojo i'll grant you that
and um i was in i was kind of taken aback by the fact that uh chris greer the gm of the dolphins
got fired today um why him exactly like we keep talking about the coach and i know he's put
the team together and he's been in the organization for a long long time but um you know the
GM but not the coach
and what is this really going to
do from Miami if you're a Dolphins fan today
what's running through your mind
I think
you know it's one of those things where
maybe you know the owner
Stephen Ross is like
okay
changing the coach we don't have any one to really like
intern-wise
let's probably address
that in the off season or GM
you can start formulating your roster right now
you know whether
obviously not with the
trade deadline, but the GM during the year has a lot of responsibility of looking at
and studying where we want to go, what we want to do, that sort of thing.
I get why the GM is the first domino to fall for sure.
If you're a Dolphins fan, though, I think you watch last night's game and you think to
yourself, how on earth is this team this bad?
And the Ravens, given their flowers, played well, especially in that second half, Lamar was
excellent.
but there were some stuff in that first half.
Like the Dolphins should have been leading the game at the end of the first half,
and they just can't get out of their own way.
And it's one thing after another.
I mean, you get to the point two where you're missing 35-yard field goals.
It's just when it rains the pores.
The parts, you get rid of the GM.
The GM's clearly probably going to get rid of McDaniel,
unless he's so in tight with the owner,
which I have no idea if that's to be the case.
But after that, like, what do you do with, like, Tua,
not just performance, but the stupid press conferences,
like, where is his standing in the NFL right now?
So that's one where I think if you get rid of this whole staff,
you need to address the Tula situation
because maybe it's one of those things where
if you get a new coach, fresh voice, different offense,
you can understand it.
Like, if you're the new GM,
because you're stuck in Tula in the contract,
to me, you really even,
evaluate to his entire pass.
And part of that means you've got to go and talk to college coaches, guys that have been
with him, when he had success, what he likes doing, what he doesn't like doing.
And just that's how you make your coaching decision.
Because like you said, that amount of money, that position, where you drafted him, how you
invested in him, you've got to get this guy back on track.
And he has moments.
Like there were moments yesterday.
We were like, wow, two was looking good.
He slinging the ball pretty well.
But there's also moments where like, oh, my goodness.
this is tough to want.
Well, and on the other side of it, Lamar returned,
and he looked very comfortable, you know,
based on the way I was kind of viewing him last night.
It was kind of a breeze in the second half.
But, you know, it's a long show.
We talked about it yesterday.
They're still chasing the division here.
It's not easy.
They have really done themselves a disservice the way they started this season.
And to end up in the top seven in the conference is not going to be easy.
But where, you know, after seeing,
Lamar and presuming he's healthy the rest of the year,
how do you handicap the chances of them making the playoffs?
You know, I think they're very fortunate.
It's crazy to say this, but the AFC North is one of the weakest divisions in football.
So that helps them.
Again, it's crazy because a couple years ago it was the best division of football,
and you look at it now, it's very, very weak.
I don't think there's one great team in it.
Lamar in the second half yesterday looks special.
So obviously you're feeling pretty good if you're Ravensand,
but I'm not really ready to believe
that this defense is great
and like the margin of error
is really slim.
They have a bit of a soft schedule upcoming
but they're probably going to need to win 10 games
and it's one of those things where
if their defense plays an egg
and Lamar is in a special as he was last night
they're going to lose one they should win
and the next thing you know
that 10 win situations can be really, really tough.
The star
The guy!
He's the final of the first star, Albrador.
Al's brother.
Al's brother, looking great.
No bow tie.
I would have preferred bow ties the rest of the season, personally.
But it's all good after an immaculate week.
And these guys got a lay up last night, which I'm happy for them,
Miles Brother.
I'm happy they got themselves a win last night.
Well, it's just nice to have a little competition.
You know, like, it gets boring when there's no competition.
And now they think they're back.
into it so we can have some more fun this weekend that's right we do one thing now else brother
we rely on something that you guys know nothing about gut instinct what's this gut instinct
and there's another thing that we brought up we have both been in professional sports where the
coach has said smarten up and get locked in you guys have never had anyone say that to you because
you're losers no one's had to say that this year we've been locked in all year long we're
I know, but you've just never been on a sideline on a bench where somebody grabbed you
and said, get locked in because you stink right now, and you respond.
Me and my party will respond.
Okay.
You guys commit to that.
Commit to that.
Like you said, Al's brother, our coach is Don Schuller, man.
We don't lose, right?
Don just sits there, puts his feet up and goes, man, you guys are unreal.
72 dolphins.
Their coach is Dugie Patel.
That's your coach.
Duggy Patel.
All right, Al's brother.
I got to say this.
Go ahead.
I got to say this.
You can't win the game in the first quarter, can't win the game in the second quarter.
We started this week down eight.
If we get out of this thing down six, we're well on the way.
Anything other than that is bonus.
Damn right, man.
You can't win the game this.
We can't win the game this week.
But as long as we can start chipping away, we'll be fine.
Okay.
That's it.
All right.
They're feeding off their history.
We'll feed off our history, I was brother.
Colts Steelers.
Colts laying three at Pittsburgh.
Where is your head out with this game?
I mean, we know where my head's at here as a true Colts fan, card-carrying Colts fan.
I've been elated with the season that the Indianapolis Colts have had,
and they've just been laying beatdowns on teams week after week.
Their legitimately average win margin is nearly two touchdowns.
They're average win margin.
So you look at a score here, and you're looking at a field goal.
Yes, it's against a decent team in the Pittsburgh Steelers,
But that defense is awful, and we're talking about the number one offense in the NFL, led by Indiana Jones,
and Luke Wilson's League MVP, apparently, and Jonathan Taylor.
I'm going to continue to put up numbers this week, parts.
I think the Colts ride again, the road favorites, but I think that they get it done.
Right.
And, I mean, it's a massive, it's a lot of respect when you're a road favorite in the NFL,
but it does feel like this line, I'm almost surprised it's not four, four and a half, you know, towards Indianapolis.
By kickoff, won't be supportive.
surprise if that flips at least to get the hook because at three, very comfortable.
I think we lock it in before it does, you know, before Dugie Patel calls in, you know,
a favor from someone and says, make this three and a half.
I'm with you.
I'm on Indianapolis.
Like Pittsburgh, they had a decent start.
Not great.
Look what happened in the second half last week.
That's a really good Green Bay team.
They completely dismantled them in Pittsburgh.
So lock it in.
Colts minus three.
Done.
All right.
Moving on.
All right.
You guys have got the game of the year here.
game of the year
not the game of the year
we're got it
chiefs we have this discussion
chiefs bills
go ahead
who do you like
chiefs minus one and a half
favorites in buffalo
yeah
we're gonna ride over your head is at
but go ahead
yes we're gonna ride with that
and oliver's obviously not playing
you got russie rice back
a couple weeks ago
the homes looks like the MVP
there's no way
we're taking the bills in a situation
Josh Allen in order to cover the spread
is gonna have to play out of his mind
So she can do, but we like fundamentals around here.
We like fundamental football.
We like good football.
We like the better team, which right now is the Kansas City Chiefs.
We're riding with Mahomes all day.
Spaggle jam up Josh Allen at one point, and we're going to get this spread right here.
We're going to cover it.
I love being on Allen and the bills.
Oh, you don't.
I love it.
You know the Chiefs are back.
You know the Chiefs are back, and they're doing Chief like things.
This is a great one, Ravens.
under the light Sunday night's the same thing
Ravens of favor. At the beginning
of the year, you were like the Chiefs, I don't
even know if they're going to make the point. I love
Josh Allen on Sunday, man. I love
him in that 4 p.m. window. What's the forecast of the weather
there, though? Ah, sunny and decent.
Alan. I'll bet you a side 500
on this. Okay.
I'll take a money line. I don't even need the points.
I got bills.
Money line. Straight up, 500?
Yeah. Here's the thing.
I'm playing with free money because I got the
penguins. I got the penguins bed that I'm already
spending.
Where he's spending that count?
Who beat Minnesota for a one last night?
Minnesota stinks.
Ever since Caprice, I've got that money.
They're nothing.
Minnesota doesn't count either.
Go ahead, Al's brother.
Well, the thing is that the bills are built to beat Kansas City.
Like, they've legitimately built this team over the last two, three years.
Whenever they're adding pieces, subtracting pieces, it's with one goal in mind,
and that's to beat the Kansas City Chiefs.
And they've had a lot of success in the regular season when it comes to beating KC.
And last I checked, we're still in October, right?
It's not the New Year.
it's not the playoffs and the bills in the regular season roll on the chiefs and they got their
offense going last week i think they continue they figured some stuff out i think the bills have
a good shot to upset the chiefs here at home love it james cook will cook he will cook this
weekend oh yeah all right seahawks at commanders sunday night owls brother where's your head out
yeah you know what this one seems pretty easy to me again just like the colts you got the
favored by a field goal as the road favorites, but the Seahawks are just the much better team.
You know, they travel well.
They're 3-0 on the road this year.
They've won five of the last six games.
They're five-and-one against the spread in that stretch as well.
So they're playing up to expectation.
And we look at this commander's team, defensively, they just stink.
And that's where Seattle can really take advantage.
That passing attack is pretty solid this year.
And that commander's defense, they're allowing the most yards per completion in the NFL this year.
quarterbacks have 106
QB rating this season against them
so I think they'll be able to pass the ball
the commanders they have to run the ball
to have success and you look at the
defense of the Seattle Seahawks
number one rush D
in the NFL allowing just 3.3 yards
per carry so if they shut down the run
you got to have a hobbled Jane
Daniels make plays to keep up
with that passing attack I just don't see
it happening fellas I like the hawks by
a field goal on the road
yeah okay I'm with you on that
I'm with you.
Marty, we're on Dan
Flynn, baby.
Dan Quinn.
We're on Dan Quinn.
Come on, dude.
I hate to kind of go against you, but you got to like the pick.
I mean, I know you like to pump up his hat backwards, but it's the right pick.
He loves Seattle.
You know, Luke, no Seattle's winning this game.
He knows.
No, he's.
Three points, parts.
Dan Quinn, as you saw last week, they got blown up with Mariotta.
They're trying hard.
This has, once again, a situation where they're down.
down nine, and Devo Saniel
stampers in with six seconds left
to cut the lead to do.
Just the most desperate covers every
week. A backdoor sneaky
six second left cover. All over it.
Okay. That's why they're down
a touchdown, Hase-A-B. That's right.
That's why they're down a touchdown.
Dan Quinn teams don't quit, parts.
I'm going to text that to the group.
Dan Quinn teams don't quit.
Okay.
There's that head coach, you guys were talking about.
I'll put my hat on backwards tonight, parts.
I'll put my hat on backwards.
Well, listen, Al's brother and I are going to float this out for you guys, too.
I think we've done this in the past.
We'll do it this year.
The Great Cup will be included in these picks, and we're going to be out there at the Boston
being said, Polo Park, the Polo Park location, Luke, and you're going to be with us a couple.
I think both days you pop in, and you guys, we'll even let you make the pick.
There you go, Alice Brother and I, we're so charitable.
You guys can make the Great Cup pick.
Wow.
Love it.
Beautiful.
All right, buddy.
We'll do it again early next week.
All right, gosh.
There he is.
Talk soon.
Luke Wilson.
Al's brother, great seeing you as always.
We'll catch you guys on the group of chest.
Go Hawks.
Go Hawks.
Go Hawks.
There he is up.
