We're back on Kidsplained. Today's breaking story, what's missing in schools?
Let's go live to a classroom to find out about the lack of school supplies.
Thanks Kate. We always seem to be out of paper and pencils and we don't have enough textbooks.
Ugh, it's like trying to do math without numbers. What we need is more investment in schools,
right Jamal?
That's right Kate. It's hard to learn without the basics.

A message from the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association.
We're waiting for Fly Hall.
When Wilson is cooking.
He's been very gracious in victory. He's been very quiet. I've been surprised. I haven't
heard from him in 24 hours. I can't believe it. There he is, Luke Wilson. Congratulations, well played.
Well played.
Okay, first and foremost, where's the Millie Vanille at now, boys?
Oh, it's coming.
It'll be back in the regular season.
You better believe it.
The old Millie Vanille wasn't played today, was it, Partzy?
I loved it.
You know what, Parts, before you get into the details of the game, I just had to scroll
back into our text chain and find that little text.
Ballers no ball, hashtag, because on the 22nd of December, I floated it to you, Parts,
and I said, I think the Eagles can win it all, and you said 1,000%, Partsie.
That's what ballers do.
Thanks for being my partner all year long.
And that's facts. That's facts, and Parts, you know my partner all year long. And that's facts.
That's facts and parts, you know I love you man.
I gotta give credit where credit's due.
I started the week on Kansas City.
I said that on Jay on Wednesday night.
And all of a sudden I'm like sitting here
and it might have been the stench in New Orleans,
it might have been the heat.
And I'm looking at this thing, I'm like,
I'm kinda leaning to Philly.
You know what really pushed me over the edge
was the text you sent me when you said, dude you might think I'm crazy but I leaning to Philly. You know what really pushed me over the edge? Was the text you sent me when you said,
dude, you might think I'm crazy, but I'm going Philly.
That was a straw that broke the camel's back.
We went Philly, we destroyed the bot farm,
we destroyed the frauds.
Like I said, I saw the tweet.
People are in the New Orleans airport screaming,
say it loud, say it proud, shout out to scumbag Doogie.
So, he's a fraud.
All is right in the world again. We smoked the Geppetto Bot Farms. Oh, shut up the scumbag doogie. He's a frog.
All is right in the world again.
We smoked the Geppetto Bot Farms.
We're the champions.
Partzy, I love you.
Can't wait to run it back again next year.
We're going to sweep.
We're going to sweep.
I got to be honest, though.
I was concerned early on because in the group chat there was some dissension as to who even
won the first...
What was that first one?
The coin toss. The coin toss. The tails for down two, hashtag. And that was us. who even won the first, what was that first one? The coin toss.
The coin toss.
The coin toss.
Tales for down two, hashtag.
And that was us.
We picked up the coin toss as a big star.
And Luke is like, yup, we got it.
I'm like, uh oh, now we've got dissension.
I've never been so berated before.
When I picked heads, everyone was like, come on, man.
Nobody, and I'm like, it's one or the other.
Right.
Is heads that bad of a selection?
Evidently it was.
No, it was. No
I don't know why I'm a big tails never fails guy and for some reason
I this was the strangest moment of week for me when tails hit I was in the auxiliary press box
Celebrating that we're all for and getting the text be like hey, no, no, you guys are on heads
I don't know where I was when we did that segment, but clearly i wasn't paying attention to coin toss i would do me thought were on
tails
it started so
promising for house brother of myself and then eventually got away from us but
in the end you know you you were in the building so take us inside the building
it's it's a whirlwind you played two of them
now you've been in the building as media multiple times.
Absolute blowout.
At any point, at any point, did you think Kansas City had a chance to get back in the
game and if so, when did that come to an end that you realized, okay, this is over and
Philly's just going to demolish them and this is going to be a blowout?
The only moment, sometimes when you have a good coaching staff like Kansas City does
and I always had a terrible day, but it's 24 nothing at the half.
Casey gets the ball, they start to drive and I'm looking up and I'm saying, okay, it's
very tough, but if they go down here and get a two point diversion, you're now sitting
at a 16 point deficit.
You know, you get a stop or at least only two possessions with the two pointers
away back into it. Still a very tough task.
But when they got stopped on that first drive and then Philly ended up adding to
this lead, I'm like, this bad boy's over. And it wasn't close.
Like you said it from the very first snap, it was not close. I do think, you know, I'll stand on this.
I think that Kansas city's defense played a little better than the score shows,
but in part of the reason the score got so high is when you're playing
Philadelphia,
the reality is when your offense and your quarterback has a QBR of 10 at the
half, and I think that 14 total yards throwing or something like that,
you're not like, you can't let Saquon Barkley and Jaylen Hertz and A.J.
Brown, Devontae Smith get 70 plays in a game.
Like it's just a matter of time.
So I, I, I was shocked, you know, something going't have a home to play, but it was a lot more
Philly fans than KC.
From right off the jump, Philly absolutely dominated this game and kicked them in the
teeth.
Part C, it kind of made me think of hockey a little bit because I think it was a couple
years ago where one of us asked you, it might have been me, like something that's common
in winning football
throughout the NFL during the playoffs, and you said everybody talks about receivers and
quarterbacks but you brought up physicality on the line, both offense and defense.
And it's like, that's what it was last night, and you must laugh at all these people that
think they can reinvent the game.
And sometimes there's the greatest show on turf that does it differently and it's flash
and dash but that was physicality at its finest and why anybody would ever deviate from that
must be laughable.
Laughable.
And that's how you win ball games and that's what I loved about last night despite the fact
that we won and things were right there.
I do feel like yesterday was a very, very stark reminder
to all football coaches, people, personnel,
that you can have stars,
but the hogs in the trenches are your easiest way to win.
And guys that play as a team, your easiest way to win.
I look at this Philly defense and it's like, okay,
Zach Bond coming into the season
was not considered to be the best middle
linebacker in the league. He comes in here, plays in Vic,
Angelo system, absolutely balled out all year.
It was the defensive player of the year candidate last night and then he had
seven total tackles, a pick and a QB hit.
The Jaylen Carter supposed to be stars defense.
He had two quarterback kids did not have a tackle. You heard that right after the defensive performance.
I'm not saying Jalen didn't play well
because they were doubling them all night.
But it's like, okay, if you're going to do this to Jalen,
you had, I think Williams, the other D tackle,
had two sacks.
Jordan Davis had a sack in there.
Wett had two and a half.
I mean, it just was across the board.
Cooper Dushin, a rookie comes in with a pitch six,
the great white hope.
I mean, it's a white cornerback scoring a touchdown
in the Super Bowl.
I don't think I would have ever said that saying in my life.
You know, Quinion Mitchell had three tackles playing DB.
Like, you talk about physicality.
You could feel it in the building parts.
And I'm not just saying that for overdrive
it was like the moment of balls kicked out you had a team that was coming
downhill
possessed
ready to play smash mo football
and a team that was
dot try to do that
you know for whatever reason i don't know what happened to canton city but
they were not ready for that intensity any clearly clearly showed
with luc wilson uh... who's down in new orleans looking back in the super bowl
last night and that became very clear like they like
can city look completely unprepared
uh... they look shell shocked you're you're right they didn't look like they
were up for the fight and i don't know if that's fatigue i don't know if it's
arrogance i'm not sure what it was
but when we talk about this team it it always begins with a conversation around
my homes and i said what i said off the top I'm not sure what it was, but when we talk about this team, it always begins with a conversation around Mahomes.
I said what I said off the top.
Everything you just said about Philly is accurate.
Everything you just said.
Their front four, their front seven was electric last night.
Obviously, they put so much pressure on him and allowed the backs to do what they did.
But this is not your average quarterback.
This is Patrick Mahomes, who has put forth the greatest, you know,
first six, seven year run in anyone's career and he's chasing down Brady. I mean, we could
go on and on and on about the Goat debates. I thought the way he looked in the first half
in the fourth quarter is completely irrelevant, completely irrelevant what he did and the
stats, all the padding of stats and all that. It's completely irrelevant. I thought he looked
jittery. I thought he had happy yet happy feet other he made some throws that
i've never thought he would even look towards making
he looked awful in my opinion
uh... what do you make a rule yet we'll be so glad you give me your synopsis of
their lives what what makes sense here
so there's a couple things you can you know the only starts of him and you
nailed it
some of those throws you simply cannot make you cannot have that in a game like that and I thought part
of it was he was pressing a bit and he was getting rattled because he got hit
so much early and guys were pressing on him but the next thing yeah sorry just
give me one sec yes um my bad boys I'm at the airport here okay the next thing I
would say is that scheme wise they're just not there in the sense of like,
they didn't try and run the ball.
So one of the things that was really tough for the homes
is even though they don't have a great run game,
you know, an efficient run game,
they have at least committed to trying to run the football
to keep defense is honest.
I was shocked because I think everyone thought
Philly had a better team, but we all said,
hey, Andy Reid, C-Spec, Nolan's gonna have
better Xs and Os and that could be the difference.
They simply did not have a good game plan.
So that's partially what I would also attribute
to Holmes playing so poorly.
To go out against this defensive line
and this number one defense in the secondary,
like I mentioned, Bond, all those guys, and say from the gun our first of the team is gonna I
believe it had one rush play and one for two yards we're just gonna be
one-dimensional out front it's a very very strange thing to do and I get that
when you're not efficient run game you want to get away from it but when you're
playing the,
it's called the inner chess game as a player,
as a D lineman, and you come up and you're like,
these boys are not going to run the football.
Everything falls apart.
You know, there was a sack Mahomes took
where three guys got out on a rouse.
And it was a fake play action,
but they hadn't ran the ball at all.
Nobody bites in the play action.
They've kept seven guys in the block
and they still took a sack.
And it's like, hey, Mahomes gotta get the ball out.
And you're looking at it,
it's like you send three guys down the field,
they're all hemmed up.
What do you want the guy to do?
And you technically got eight guys in the backfield
and you're taking a sack still, like, excuse me, seven,
like you're jammed.
So that's where I was like
not only did the homes play poorly they the whatever game plan they had two
weeks of Andy Reid it did not work out well and it was just a calamity of errors
across the board that resulted in an absolute shellacking yeah that's it we'll
get you out here with a look ahead to the next season.
Better chance of making the Super Bowl next year,
Kansas City or Philly?
I'll go with Philly still,
but I think both of them have a legit shot.
Philly just because the conference is weaker,
but I do think Kansas City,
listen, not having her she writes a huge ordeal.
Him getting hurt, huge ordeal.
But I do believe that both these,
we could potentially see a mismatch. I look at know, I I think Detroit will be very very stout next year
but you wonder life after Ben Johnson and
How healthy will they be will the defense be a lot better? I don't know, you know you look at
The Rams, you know the Rams were you look at Philly's fightoff right here smoke Green Bay
The Rams, you know the Rams, you look at Philly's playoff right here, smoked Green Bay, the Rams went down and almost beat them, enough snow game, absolutely annihilated the commanders
and then annihilated Kansas City.
So you know the Rams have caught Cooper Cup, what's going to happen there in offseason,
I don't know.
But you got to think Philly is going to be a heavy, heavy favorite to run this thing
back and get back to the Super Bowl.
All right buddy, safe travels, next time you're i don't know how the hats for you now is
brother and i will be in here and
you know we're what will say a few words will talk more about the regular
sloth in the greatness of our run but
