And I'm MJ. The story of the week is Kelly Clarkson's fight with the expensive
Starting point is 00:00:47 bird store. But here at page seven, every single night, I pray that my tits are sitting right. Mulan Rouge, my corset is so tight. Baby girl in control. I feel like Nicole. And every single day, I wake up, the world is my buffet. I fly out, fuck up another stage. Baby girl in control. I feel like Nicole. And yeah, that is Adela's song that is out to Nicole Kidman, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. It is sung so sexy. I love Adela, but also I love my sister-in-law, Natalie Jean. I hope in a different way. Actually, I'm going to say in a different way, but I don't look at Adela because I feel that she, I think she's like 22. I more look at her as like a, you are such Oh, good for you, honey.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Yes, this. Your eroticism. I love this. So it's more that I love that a young pop star. Can we just out the gate start the episode by just thinking of divorcing a piece of garbage like Keith Urban. Yeah, and I'm only saying piece of garbage because of his music. He's really, I don't think it doesn't even seem. Maybe there's a cheating thing.
Starting point is 00:02:07 We don't really know. He was a drinking dirty dog. for a while so you don't try to look like her. It's a lot. You know, it's no good. But could you imagine being in your 50s going through your second huge public divorce coming out on the other side and there is a young hot pop artist that is making a hit song about how all of us wish we could be you?
Starting point is 00:02:33 That is winning a divorce so hard I can't even see straight. She's really good at divorcing and really bad. at choosing husbands. 100%. It's like, at some point, I mean, I guess it's the track record is too, but at some point, I feel like the goodwill has to turn
Starting point is 00:02:50 to be like, you've got to pick a better man, you know? But Keith Urban is not, and he's in a different category of bad man than Tom Cruise, obviously. Yes, and I will say she got the Tom contract early on. I feel like if you're, now you're
Starting point is 00:03:06 signing the contract that you're going to be with him up until a certain age. If now you're getting in bed with Tom Cruise, that's one thing. And you know Nicole would never do that, okay? Fair. Yeah, it was less clear. Have you guys even talked about his dance through the, what is it, the soul line or whatever that they do? Oh, my God, at the show at the Jennifer Hudson show.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Was that not disturbingly uncanny Valley? I didn't know if they had just like, did they just AI his face? That's what it looks like. body? Yeah, the Jennifer Hudson dance line is like, it'll really make or break your day. Like, either you are so happy to see it or you're like scrub my eyeballs out with bleach. Could you imagine being in that hallway, like trying to be the hype people while you're watching something like that? And you're just like, oh, get it. Wow. He's giving his vibes. I feel a little bit like this is like a, there's a poison ruminating.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Getting off of him a little bit. You're just like, go off, you tall king, tall and spirit king. You know what I mean? I feel like that's... I feel like when you're, like, he's doing that, you feel like you're right next to the elephant's foot left from Chernobyl. Oh, my God. I don't think I should be here.
Starting point is 00:04:22 And so true, because they're all young people, too, so they surely all have, like, the correct analysis of Tom Cruise. Like, the only people, I think, left who could even ever have been in, like, that orbit like Nicole Kidman was, are people Nicole Kidman's age who were around when he was King shit, right? Right. Oh, yeah. Like, he was Remember when Rosie O'Donnell,
Starting point is 00:04:43 who was famously gay, was just like obsessed with Tom Cruise? Oh, yeah, and everyone's like, see, she's not that gay. I feel like that was always the through line of the Rosie O'Donnell show. It was like the Cushes and then it was like, I can't be that gay, I love Tom Cruise.
Starting point is 00:05:00 And just to try to desperately sadly make her more palatable. as a queer person on television. I feel like that was as much a contract as it was with Nicole Kidman, right? 100%. Yes, you better be straight on television. Here's the, like, fill in the blank hot man of the time, which at the time where it was Mel Gibson,
Starting point is 00:05:20 Tom Cruise, and Kevin Costner. Okay. No, he's fine. He's fine. He's fine, right? He's fine. M.J. Thurs, I'm going to say, more for a Kevin Costner than I do.
Starting point is 00:05:35 It's just because I grew up near Field of Dreams, Jackie. I don't thirst for Kevin Oscar. We're going right back. We're still talking about it, Natalie. No, I'm just saying he is, again, in a different category of bad man than a cruise or a Gibson. You are very correct about that. Didn't you try to watch that show he's on, Jackie? Remember the Cowboys show?
Starting point is 00:05:56 I did. Because I was told by so many, and people that I truly respect their opinion of, you know, Yellowstone. And I know so many people that are obsessed with Yellowstone. They're obsessed with Dutton Ranch. They're obsessed with like the whole. Well, it's the same showrunner, right? It's all, and he's kind of like a red pill guy. And I don't know if I'm just assuming these things because it's about like Earl and being on horses. You know what I mean? I'm pretty sure he was on Rogan and was exactly as you would expect. Okay. Well, there you go. You asked and answered. I tried. I did try. And my problem was truly.
Starting point is 00:06:35 and it wasn't like a real housewives of Rhode Island situation where I wanted to learn how to distinguish them. I just kept seeing the same man in cowboy hat and I was like, which one is this one? Wait, is this one bopping that blonde bitch or that blonde bit? Like, I just couldn't keep them straight and or care. Just give us another deadwood. That's all we're asking for.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Give me some, deadwood. Give me some Timothy, olefant. Give me some calamity Jane. Oh my God. Oh, yes. Give me, give me, give me, give me. In fact, actually, I, you know, I'm not going to go down that road. You know what road?
Starting point is 00:07:08 I'm not going to go down that road. You know what road? I do want to go down just real fast. I know we're going to get into celebrity gossip. But MJ, I just wrote up top here, Wonka's the Golden Ticket, because I blame Natalie. And now Natalie has to hear my cries from the void about Wanka's golden ticket, the reality show on Netflix, because Natalie and I were on earth, like, weeks ago talking about how this disgusting show. Was it not on here?
Starting point is 00:07:40 No, we were talking about that. I think of just regular life. I think that was just us talking. Or maybe on LPN, Romanticie Deep Dives. Check it out, everybody. Oh, MJ, I thought I'd. I'd talk about it to you. I'm learning about this for the first time right now, guys.
Starting point is 00:07:57 And the thing was is that Natalie and I were talking about how disgusting the show is. because it is all, it is hosted by the A-eyed voice of Gene Wilder. No. And so I was like, this is horrific, Natalie. And we're making jokes, we're making jokes. And I was like, I mean, I got to check out a little. I got to see how bad this is. Well, because I told you on the first episode, which is the only one we watched.
Starting point is 00:08:22 It is, it's like weirdly, like physically violent, like immediately. Yeah. There's the first bit to separate all of the pairs. Yeah. And a bunch of them get put into giant gumballs inside a gumball machine. And they are like a Katie Perry concert, you know. But it's the people who are left behind are visibly traumatized. And there's one of the guys on it is like crying.
Starting point is 00:08:49 He's going, I didn't know my brother was going to be inside a giant gumball. I didn't know. It's going to have to be like this year. And I miss him. I just wish he was not in a giant gumball. He's not going to sit a gum ball. Sounds like it's actually recreating the like actual horror of the story. Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:07 You know, because if you read the, I've read the book a bunch of times and it's like, Roaldol was a was a little fucked up. Oh, yeah. Oh, real scary. Because this is the problem though, because I was so disgusted and that was so, my brother's in a gumball and your brother's in a gumball and they don't know what to, like it's just and all of the challenges it unfortunately, I'm going to confess here. I watched the whole goddamn thing.
Starting point is 00:09:31 I watched all goddamn thing. It was because I was in the middle of making Natalie and I had a Romanticy festival over the weekend. So I was in the process of making like many key chains and magnets. And I'm like by hand making all this stuff. And so I accidentally consumed it. And it, there at one point, I took a video and I sent it to Natalie because they were, they strapped. One of the men was a 78 year old man, right? They're strapped to these golden hands and they're standing on a pedestal.
Starting point is 00:10:01 that is up off of the ground and they are being spun, right? And you have to hold on as long as you can. But of course, over time, they start to spin you more and more and more. And 78. And at one point, and this wasn't even the 78-year-old, he's holding on for dear life.
Starting point is 00:10:19 And one of the girls had decided to shut her eyes and then she was like truly trying to, and then she just woke, like, opens her eyes and she went, and then peaks on herself and she keeps going. They don't show the puke. And I was so upset. I was like, show it. You're spinning this bitch so fast that she puked on herself on
Starting point is 00:10:40 on Netflix reality television. You're not going to at least show it. Well, they're being classy. They're being, oh, is that what they're being, Natalie? They're being classy because, man, the Gene Wilder AI voice, it isn't even good. But it's actually, I don't know if you remember, but it was done with permission from the Wilder Comp? What do they call the Wilder Foundation?
Starting point is 00:11:04 Yeah. I read the Wikipedia article. Yeah, his estate approved it. Yeah, that doesn't mean anything. So is there an image of him or is it just his voice? It's a hologram? No, no. You can't use his voice.
Starting point is 00:11:14 You can't use his image. But what is really insane is they don't even, like if, like at one point, Nick Cannon comes on to be a host of one of the challenges, but they don't even bring him in. They have him filmed offstage that. he is just projected into their, so they're not even asking the celebrities to come. These people are all trapped inside of this building
Starting point is 00:11:38 without any, like, hosts. There's nobody there like, do nothing. Just the voice of AI Gene Wilder. Just that. Beaming into them while they vomit on themselves. All of it is like scary, upsetting challenges. And then you can tell that they're being forced into being like, it's just like the movie.
Starting point is 00:11:57 And they're just like, look, like the walls like I don't know they have to like get them to get the magic numbers underneath and they're all like oh like sucking on the walls it is this is the this is the sleeper way we actually get to hunger games everyone's like oh like oh it's gonna be like squid games is the one thing that's gonna no this is the cutesy way we step our way into utter dystopia 100% Natalie I was gonna say I actually feel like this is not that disconnected in a thematic way from the Kelly Clarkson expensive bird story Because it's just like you're either in the in the gumball or you're in the expensive bird store. It's one or the other. Which one you want? Which one you want? And there's fewer and fewer. There's about 1% of the 1% is in the bird store.
Starting point is 00:12:45 And then everyone else is in the gumball screaming, vomiting on themselves, breaking their 78-year-old body. What happens at the bird store? Does it stay at the bird store? It does not. No, it doesn't. It goes on my. It gets spread everywhere
Starting point is 00:13:01 just like the make that comes out of their little butts. I tell you and I don't think this is good luck because this story is so funny. This is exactly like you said MJ earlier. This is for us a Brooklyn Beckham wedding
Starting point is 00:13:17 level of drama that does not matter to us really at all. And that's why it's beautiful. Can someone explain to me what this store is? I don't understand it. Oh, yes. I got you. I got you, Natalie. I'm looking at the website right now. Okay, so first of all, just to ground everybody, it is in Brooklyn Heights. That is in this place that needs to be freed, although it's mechanical. It's mechanical.
Starting point is 00:13:42 It is on the border of Cobble Hill and Brooklyn Heights. It's like, when I saw it, I thought Brooklyn Heights, some people are saying this happened in Cobble Hill. The point is, for anyone to know that doesn't know New York, no matter what in that area, none of us could probably afford anything of what's going on. Right? Like it is definitely one of those neighbors. There's no gumball people there. There's no bum ball people there.
Starting point is 00:14:02 You can't even afford to buy a beer there. You hide the gumball people with shame. You know, you keep them far away. Like, what was that one, the one Kennedy? Was it the one that was crazy. Rosemary. Yeah. The Rosemary Kennedy.
Starting point is 00:14:16 And so, yes, this is in like an exquisitely expensive, beautiful, immaculate part of Brooklyn. That is wonderful. I used to have a friend. who lived in this area and if I got to go to his house I was like hell yeah it's a wonderful wonderful time and so the store called art of play called art of play a unique collection of magical home goods puzzles games toys and books that has been called one of the most beautiful shops in New York City and also there's a theater they host some of the best magicians in the world
Starting point is 00:14:50 it's a it's a you're having a romp if you're going here it's a romp of a time you're having a thoughtful, you're doing thoughtful gifts, you're seeing a magician, you're in a very expensive neighborhood, you're paying $7,000 a month for rent, and you are looking in the home goods section where there's an illusion table. There is a stone pyramid. Oh. I think every, the cheapest thing you're going to buy here is $170 and it goes up from there by like a metric of thousands. This is definitely bourgeois nonsense. This is like a, this is like goop level of like put it on a goop list. I'm sure it's cool. I imagine it's all artists made.
Starting point is 00:15:30 It's all very cool, like beautiful artistry that I'm not saying that these things should not cost the amount that they do. But this is the place that Kelly Clarkson found herself in. This is the place that she found herself in. And yeah, I actually, I do want to talk about how impossible it is to keep a store open in Brooklyn, which is why I am literally on team bird store, even though this stuff is kind of silly and very expensive. But yes, let's just first read
Starting point is 00:15:59 Kelly Clarkson's tweet. Well, before we get into that tweet, uh-oh, the birds are singing and you're going to have to go listen to them and by birds, I mean sponsored content. We'll see you in a second. So this whole thing is also very retro because I don't even know if it was actually Twitter
Starting point is 00:16:14 she posted that, yeah, it was X, who's going on Twitter to complain about a story? What year is it? Are we back in 2011? I would love to be back in 2011. Yeah. Especially what The tweet was, and I am going to call it a tweet, as if it is 2011, because Kelly Clarkson says, just drove all the way to Brooklyn. Oh, she drove all the way to Brooklyn.
Starting point is 00:16:35 She didn't drive. Yeah, she didn't drive. And, also, if you're already driving to Brooklyn, I'm assuming, from the city, give me a break. Why are you driving? But, you know, that's fun. Because she's Kelly Clarkson, she couldn't possibly. So she drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out the store, I thought looked really rad. And had a few things in mind to buy.
Starting point is 00:16:53 and literally was looked at as if I couldn't afford it and was told... Oh, she got pretty woman? This is... And he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude, you're an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y'all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts' character and pretty woman. For sure, check it out. Thumbs down emoji.
Starting point is 00:17:21 What year is? Is it, Kelly Clarkson? I'm sorry, that is a bit of a boomer behavior. Honey, I really, you know, up until I think last week when Kelly Clarkson was referring to AI as her lover, I've always, like, been championing Kelly Clarkson. Yeah, everything against her. We've heard. We go to bat for her.
Starting point is 00:17:43 It seems like, like she's genuinely a good person. This? And she's pro-AI? Last week, she was like on Los Culturistas being like, you know, I don't want it to take over music, but like maybe there, she literally said, maybe there could be a separate chart for AI music so it doesn't compete with normal music. Yeah, Natalie, how do you feel about that? What are you talking about? What are you talking about? No, no, I think that other people should lose their jobs because of it. I just don't want to lose my job. Oh my God, speaking of MJ yesterday, Natalie and I were
Starting point is 00:18:10 doing this Romantici festival and we were in the middle of having a conversation. All of so Natalie's looking off and I was like, hello, middle of talking to you. And you're like, I'm so sorry. I just noticed, look over there. We were right next to this big golf center. I don't know. It's a golfing field. I'm at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles, which is right next to Griffith Park, which of course is overrun by disgusting golf courses, which I hate with every fiber. Yes. And especially now, because I don't know, I'm not in golf culture, surprisingly enough. Did you know, MJ that they are now using robots to be the cats? so they don't even have to give young people jobs anymore.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Yeah, there's bought, like, robot machines following them with the clubs inside the thing. And I'm like, I only bring this up because maybe some people are like, who possibly cares, but I grew up in a town that had a big golf park center at it and everybody liked it. A course, thank you. Golf course. A golf a golf aficionado over here. I knew a bunch of Maybe this gets too dark Maybe I say this is dark I say this is dark excited But I knew a bunch of the young
Starting point is 00:19:28 Teenage girls That would work there I don't know if you want to start this conversation Because I can talk about the drink girls And I will say And what's happening to them You know the drink girls I will say the ones I could never get a job there
Starting point is 00:19:41 I didn't look good enough And they certainly I would say Probably weren't getting the tips in ways that they always loved, but they did, I knew two different girls that were able to completely pay for college because they were caddies at this golf center. Oh, or caddies and not drink. I feel like the drink girls got it worse than the caddies, but I mean, I'm not. But the thing is that they had to even fight to be caddies because the men literally
Starting point is 00:20:08 like, wait, so I'm supposed to sexually harass you and play golf at the same time? And you can hand me my ball? Yeah, don't make me do both. They can't do both at the same time. Sorry, I didn't mean to just randomly scream about side tangent. Side tangent. And then Natalie and I just looked and stared at it. We're just like, Jesus crap.
Starting point is 00:20:27 It's like being a literal like hand servant for the rich is not a great job. But it's like also worse for that job to be given to a robot. To not have any of the jobs for young people anymore. It's like, yeah, I knew a bunch of kids who work aties. It was like a summer job. It was a bunch of teenagers could do for sure. But that's why this whole Kelly Clarkson thing, this is so weird that it really is,
Starting point is 00:20:49 I'm referring to it as a tweet. This must be from 2011. There's no way that this is from 2026 that you went to X to be like, I got pretty woman and they said I couldn't afford it, but I could. That is the brattiest thing. And then it's so funny because now this is unraveled. Because she openly shamed them, pointed them out. Of course, this small business is being really.
Starting point is 00:21:16 ripped apart. It's so, what a weird choice to make on her end. It's so horrible. Especially because that's all that was out, right? That's all that was, she said that. And then Art of Play was getting ripped apart. Since then, there have been multiple back and forths publicly between Art of Play and Kelly Clarkson trying to explain what happened.
Starting point is 00:21:39 Because once Art of Play explained it, it also sounded like, well, it, it, it, it, it does seem like you guys are also working from a place of privilege because you've got this one of a kind singing bird and they apparently that bird that she asked about was not for sale. And they said if you'd like, the artist made another one of these birds and you can probably purchase that, but it's they charge it for 50, they charge 15,000 dollars for it. And I really feel if I was talking to anyone, even if I knew they had money, I wouldn't assume that you want to to spend $15,000 on a bird that even if you're Kelly Clarkson, I would probably assume that like, probably don't want to spend $15,000 on a bird, you know?
Starting point is 00:22:25 It's a big purchase. And again, yeah, the text is such a, I want to do such a close reading of it because was literally looked at, literally was looked at as if I can't afford it. Like, what does that mean? And so, yeah, now, Jack, you're bringing in the context of them being like, this isn't for sale and this is $15,000. but like to be like you looked at me like I'm Julia Roberts I'm just like I'm sorry Kelly like what you're not you're saying there was like a microaggression and that you're just right are you saying that you're
Starting point is 00:22:57 profiled as a as what a white woman like in that area in Brooklyn Heights if you're in that store if you're in that store asking how much something is that doesn't have a price on it you one would assume especially if you're in sales. Now, don't get me wrong, maybe the salesperson was somebody that just wasn't good at being in sales. I understand that's not everybody's forte. I just, this is such a, like, there's so much going on right now. I think also it's just at that level, you wield such a vast amount of power. Yes. You must understand that when you say something like that, there will be a ripple of consequences for people who probably don't deserve that, which is like, I mean, not to move forward on the topics, but which is kind of, I think, one of the reasons that, like, something like what Shane Gillis did matters a lot. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:57 But we don't have to go there yet if you want to talk about other things. Oh, we can. No, we can go there. I think, yeah, I just want to, just to finish my thought before about how hard it is to be a, to own a store or to run a store. Like this, you know, if you go to a place like Portland, correct me if I'm wrong, Portlanders, but I feel like Austin, Portland, you still see these like really cool, weird, like, we're an ice cream store that just does this one weird thing. And Brooklyn used to have all sorts of really cool, interesting places like this, right?
Starting point is 00:24:27 And they don't exist anymore because the rent is so high. They all became CVS's. They all became CVS's or they're vacant. Like restaurants in my neighborhood just closed because they just can't, like wonderful, great, beloved neighborhood spots that have been around for decades are just closing because people cannot afford the rent. And so, yes, well, this store is a little bit of a store for the 1% or whatever. I'm still team store because God bless you for being a store that isn't a CVS that is doing something. Again, you're doing something interesting. It's very expensive.
Starting point is 00:25:01 I can't afford it. But like, you're doing something. You're having, you're a venue. You're having people, you're having people gather. Am I really going to side with Kelly Clarkson because you looked did her wrong over this store, trying to be a store in Brooklyn? Just let them live. Especially nowadays where the internet, like, discourse gets so mean and scary, so fast that it's not okay to do these things
Starting point is 00:25:25 to point out something like this because it's like, who knows? Put a target on someone's back. What did people show up at the business to, like, hurt somebody? You don't, like, people send in death threats on dancing with the stars. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:25:38 It's like, it's crazy. He's also giving weird, detached, unhinged boomer lady who's leaving an Amazon review. Let's like, this book I purchased gave me a paper cut. What's our? It's very bad. Do you understand that that has nothing to do with anything? And why are you screaming? And why are you wielding this little amount of power you have to hurt everyone?
Starting point is 00:26:01 Like, what is your problem? Especially when she just goes on to be like, lush. Because she goes, there's a, there are multiple Xs, at each other. And then she's like, by the way, I obviously support small businesses because I was literally at a small business trying to purchase things. And then I went up on to ruin them. But I do support them until I ruin them. Fuck off. I'm sorry, Kelly Clark said. I was team you. We have seen since you've been gone to this house a lot. But we continue. Yes, we will. But I won't like it as much anymore.
Starting point is 00:26:35 What a strange decision to make with your free will? I don't know. It's just, I don't get it. It's such, it's just, you know, we're not asking everybody to be like the best version of themselves all the time. No, we're not. No, have a bad day. Have a bad day. It's just doing things like that that's like nobody in your life or you, or did you not say to anybody like, I'm going to tweet this. Like, I feel like might even like anyone around me.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Be like, don't do that. Those people generally, we see this over and over when you get that level of power are surrounded by yes people. and no one will challenge you and it makes you a monster. It literally makes you a terrible person to be around. And it's like, yeah, if you felt frustrated, why didn't you just make a tweet like sub-tweeting them? You could have like said, hey, even though I'm a rich lady,
Starting point is 00:27:24 I still go to these stores sometimes and they look at me like I'm trash. Isn't that suck? To actually send a mob to try to dismantle a store because somebody looked at you in a way you felt disrespected by is crazy. It's crazy. That's a crazy thing to do. It's almost as crazy. I know that we should talk about Shane Gillis, but I'm going to talk about Wicker instead because I got to bring it up instead because I'm so upset about the Kelly Clarkson's and the birds and the,
Starting point is 00:27:55 and you don't want to, you don't want me to start doing sponge. I want to talk about Shane Gillis, but we don't got to. I know you do. I know you do. And that's why I'm keeping you from it because instead I'm going to make you talk about Alexander Scarsguard at the Whicker premiere because I may be the only person besides you listener that is excited about Wicker. Do I already have my tickets? Yes. Have I been desperate to try?
Starting point is 00:28:19 Because apparently there is a one night only showing of Wicker in 4DX, which is the one where you're like shaking around. And apparently Alexander Scarsgaard said in an interview, he's like, I heard there's going to be a 4DX version. I just know that there at one point a pale of. Olivia's urine gets splashed and I believe moviegoers will be splashed with it.
Starting point is 00:28:43 Wait, are they going to rumble you around for sex scenes? Yes. Oh my God. Are you going to be like rubbed on? Rived for our pleasure. That's the way I want my movie seats. Honestly, I have to think about this, but I think I'm pro. Like you sign a consent form when you go in. Do you want to be like virtually entered during this experience?
Starting point is 00:29:05 Obviously only for adults. Like you have to be 18 up. Yes. It is a 21 and up. I believe it is it. I would love you was 21 and up. That would be even better. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Starting point is 00:29:15 You have like an emergency, like a nurse's call button where you can revoke your consent. But until that you are consenting to being 40X entered by a wicker. It's like a wire to learn. And it's just like, there's life in my loins. There's life in my loins. I got to get out of here. I got to get out of here. It's too much.
Starting point is 00:29:32 I'm so excited. And I can't find the dickets for it. I want it. so bad. And apparently at AMC, you know, AMC does all the stupid popcorn buckets. And for Wicker, they are releasing his full wickered chest as the popcorn bucket. And I, I'm gonna buy it. I'm so excited. I'm all alone in my excitement. Are you gonna use it? For what? I don't know. To have sex with it. I'm a sucker for merch too. I know it's wasteful. I know we don't. But sometimes if it's a special precious thing, I think that's awesome to go buy some dumbass merch.
Starting point is 00:30:11 But do people reuse these popcorn buckets? We have the Dune popcorn bucket. And that is the, oh, that's not true. We bought the Dune popcorn bucket. And then there was a D&D movie that recently came out. There was a big D20. So Jeff got that to put all of his dice in. And I think that's very cute.
Starting point is 00:30:29 But the Dune bucket is the big worm. And we put tissues inside of it and you pull the tissues out from the insomies. out from the inside of the worms now. Oh, I'm like a repurpose. So we need a bin. You know, you always need a bin. So get the bucket. You'll use it as a bin of some kind.
Starting point is 00:30:46 I have too many pumpkin buckets in my house right now. And I was like flipping out. And I was like, I'm going to throw away all of our pumpkin buckets. But instead now there's like a library book pumpkin bucket. You know, there's like a fidget spinner pumpkin bucket. I wasn't even trying to be judgy as much as like, do people reuse them for popcorn? Like, can you go back to AMC and use that? No, but what I appreciate is oftentimes they ask you, they don't put the popcorn in it
Starting point is 00:31:10 because a lot of times people don't want popcorn in it and they don't want it to just be greasy and then you have to go in and clean it. So they always offer because you get a free, like when you buy the popcorn bucket, you get a free popcorn with it. I mean, you're paying, for example, free. You better get popcorn with it. You should get popcorn with it. Popcorn costs like three cents.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Yeah, give me the frigging popcorn. But I do know that I reuse this chest piece. I don't know, as a vase or. I feel like something. I'll use it for something. No, you need, you need it. I support you. I support it. Thank you. I'm just, I'm so excited about wicker and I, uh, I know that I posted about this last week. I did try to actively steal the, the, the, the, the six and a half foot wicker that was at the AMC. Adam, our producer was trying to help me put it down my pants, but instead, uh, we get yelled at so we don't do that. And then, uh, I, I'm worried that I'm going to be one of
Starting point is 00:32:03 those people, though, I'm trying to not. We just recently saw at, in Burbank, there are these different statues of DC superheroes, and in front of one of the AMCs, there's a big Batman. And I've always seen this big Batman didn't know that there were other of these
Starting point is 00:32:19 statues. I don't think I'm not either. There were other statues and over where, because we went to Outback Steakhouse, no rules just right. We went to Outback Steakhouse yesterday. And in front of the Outback Steakhouse, they had a lantern sculpture of that. And they did such an amazing job.
Starting point is 00:32:36 It looks just like the character. Like it's such an amazing statue. But then I just look, and you can see all the fingerprints on his lump. Oh, man. And I'm just like, man, I don't want to be one of those people. That's what I did want to. I thought, I mean, I saw the fingerprints on the lump. And I was like, I can't do this.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Don't put your fingers on his lump. I can't put my fingers on his lump. He's a sculpture. I can't do that. I love that we did a live show yesterday. in the day and that you chose your evening to go to Albeck Steakhouse and I chose my evening to go on the new roller coaster at Universal Studios afterward. We had very different evenings. We both went our separate ways and Jeff and I went to Outback. Oh my God, I have to show you. I forgot about the Puggle Surprise. Puggle surprise. Puggle surprise. I've got a Puggle surprise. What are you talking about, Jackie? Oh, are you wondering Mr. Plymouth was friend?
Starting point is 00:33:31 Did you get a happy meal at Outback Steakhouse? So at Outback Steakhouse, they now do these drinks. And Jeff got a huge drink with a huge tarantula on the top. And for the purpose of Halloween, they had a drink called the Puggle Surprise. And I said, what's the Pugle Surprise? And I liked it because the waiter said, you're going to have to find out. And they said, that's very scary. Just tell me what the Pugle Surprises.
Starting point is 00:33:57 I looked it up. So it says Outback Steakhouse on the bottom of his platypus. They had a platypus on top of my drink, and it came separately with an egg. And I said, oh, come separately with an egg. And the waiter says, because platy have eggs. And I went, oh. And then I said, it's called puggles surprise. He goes, baby platypie are called puggles.
Starting point is 00:34:16 And I was like, oh. And so I was like, so are you telling me I got to pour the dead child of this platypus into the drink? And then what you do is that the platypus sink. and then it drowns in its own child's make. And I said, is that what the surprise is? Is the surprise that you're murdering its child as you pour it on top of it as it slowly sinks
Starting point is 00:34:46 to the bottom of the drink? I like it. I love it. And it goes, you get to keep them. And I was like, oh, good. So I now have this platypus and this egg shot glass. I was on aware of those were called Puggles. I assumed that we're talking about the very sickly mixed breed of dog.
Starting point is 00:35:07 That's what I thought you meant too. No, no, no. I'm in fact talking about this smeared up baby platypus that I poured into my lemonade drink that made it taste more like just lemonade. I don't know if you'll know what I'm talking about, Jackie, but it's not parry the platypus from Phineas and Furb. Is it a character of a platypus? I know exactly what you're talking about because my niece loves it.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Finius and Ferb? No. It is not an IP platypus. It is an outback platypus. It says outbook on its, outback on its belly. Okay. All right. I just wanted to confirm because it looks from a distance. It is the same color as Perry the platypus.
Starting point is 00:35:42 And I was like, is there some sort of like outback? IP crossover? No. Fiddeus and Furb collaboration. No. But also is this like, does this scare you? And is this a part of the Halloween fear factor? Well, I mean, killing the child and then pouring.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Killing its baby. And drinking it. Drowning it in its own baby. Yeah. That is scary. It's a stretch. It feels like they may have had some of those left over from a different event. And they were like, it's scary to eat your own baby.
Starting point is 00:36:08 Make it Halloween. Oh, it's all the official menus. Oh, there's all a bunch of promo material for the Puggle Surprise, MJ. I think you could lean into it and just make a Halloween theme at your house of different animals, baby's dead corpses being poured onto their mouth. I love the see. I thought you were more were saying as a couple's costume that Jeff would be the platypus and I'd be the egg.
Starting point is 00:36:29 And I would just be screaming, he's eating his baby! He's eating us baby! We're going as Pugel Surprise for Halloween. And I can't wait to find out what you guys are going as, but don't tell us now. Wait until after this ad.
Starting point is 00:36:43 And I hope you said it aloud. I'm going as, I know we're not going to have that much time to get into it, but what if I said I'm going as a whore wearing short shorts to the gym, just to troll Shane Gillis. We've been,
Starting point is 00:36:57 We've been watching Desperate Housewives over at our Patreon, and it started in 2006, and we're currently in the year 2007. And they use the word whore liberally, okay? And it's a lot of fun. We're laughing. Well, they were acting like hoars, you know? It was a different time. We're going to laugh about that word and how alarming it is to hear.
Starting point is 00:37:17 And I also say that, I do, I still actively, I feel that I, I'm going to say, I took back the word whore for myself a while ago. Women's saying it is different. I think it's a lot too all the time. I think that it is different and we all know it's how you use it. We understand this. It's totally 100% something we've, for decades. We've had a conversation about how the people who are marginalized by the language
Starting point is 00:37:43 can use the language in a way that is different than the people who use the language to harm people. And Shane Gillis didn't get the memo and he just thinks it's fun to call women wars on TV. My question though is, and I probably should watch the whole monologue. don't necessarily want to, but I probably will. What was the bit? It literally, like, this is the thing.
Starting point is 00:38:06 I, I understand everyone's allowed to use whatever kind of words, whatever kind of language you want to use. At least make it funny. What it was was him being like, I was at the gym the other day. And isn't it crazy how girls nowadays, Tristan like hores? And at the gym, they're wearing these little
Starting point is 00:38:23 shorts, and it's crazy. And they're like these bright color. These are like construction colors and you can see their whole butt. And then he said, but you can't look at it. You can't look at it. You're bad if you look. And that's actually, I think that was the worst part. That's the worst part. It's like, yeah, saying the word horror is kind of like the headline, but really the fact that the joke is, oh, you don't want me to look at your ass. I'm the bad guy if I want to look at your ass. Correct. Like, and that and Dan, so, and Dan Levy made a really great response video because he's,
Starting point is 00:38:54 he's wonderful and he's so funny. And he's just, like this is just this is misogyny and like we've spent how much we spent the last three weeks talking about consent and you know dehumanization of women and now you're going to use your platform to go on TV and say I'm victim because women wear short shorts and then I get in trouble when I look at them funny about it yeah that to be honest that to me is kind of I'm sorry I know it's not the worst part about it but it kind of is uh I know that he also brought up Joe Rogan in the monologue seemingly out of nowhere. And it's the first time I believe that maybe there is actually Illuminati humiliation rituals.
Starting point is 00:39:38 Because what do you mean he just brought up Joe Rogan and was like, we hang out. And that was part of the monologue. I don't understand what the appeal of, like, listen, Red Pill Manosphere guys are literally my mortal enemies at this point. I didn't know I had enemies in my life, especially as an adult, but I do. and it's them. And the idea that these guys, like him and Hinchcliff and stuff, are saying,
Starting point is 00:40:04 they just say the stuff that nobody else wants to hear, whatever. They're not saying any thing that no one is, no one's shocked by this. No one is shocked by it. It is 12 year old fucking nonsense. It's like their idea is that they're going, those world liberals, they want to have jokes in their jokes.
Starting point is 00:40:25 They think, oh, we got to. have funny stuff when we say jokes. It is that stupid. I just say a slur. Yeah, that's the bravery. Yeah, that's the bravery. Yeah, that's it. They just, and they also, they all feel like they're the persecuted ones.
Starting point is 00:40:39 And so they think that this is an act of, like, they think they're being, you know, George Carlin, you know, without any jokes or any creativity. Brave is what they're being, MJ. What's really crazy too is like, Schingillis, we have, we know people who know him. we know people who've written for him. Of those ilk of that world, the bar is in hell, but he's funnier than a lot of those guys. Yes, that's why I'm saying. What is this humiliation ritual that he just put himself through?
Starting point is 00:41:09 Because I know that he is capable of writing a joke. And being funnier than that. And I don't like him per se, but he's better than the rest of those dudes. They've been putting out, like, I don't even know if people saw Theo Vaughn's movie that got put out called Bus Boys. it is one of the worst pieces of shit that I have, the clips I've seen alone are just like, how did you spend $3 million on this movie? But they get all of them to watch,
Starting point is 00:41:34 but they get all of these people to watch it. I know. But every single one, that was panned. Tony Hinchcliffe's stand-up special was panned. It's because we don't get it. It's because, oh, they don't get us. It's because we're out here being brave. It's like, no, you're out there being not funny.
Starting point is 00:41:49 Even their fans couldn't defend those things, though. Even their fans were like, I like these guys. But I don't think that was very good. I thought we were supposed to laugh during this stuff. Yeah. I understand. The lack of humor.
Starting point is 00:42:03 And also, yeah, I mean, the misogyny, like, sure, of course, there's going to be a bunch of people who are excited to hear, yes, let's bring a horror back. But it's like, I do feel like. It never left. It never left. And if you're going to be like, my thing is that I'm a man who calls, who says that, like, women deserve to be, like, leered at. I don't know. Again, just read the room. Like, isn't part of your job as a comedian to, like, observe culture?
Starting point is 00:42:25 and like perhaps perhaps right now with the Cornell 7 perhaps it's not a great moment to be like you deserve to have men look at you whether you want it or not you know what I mean? Like again it's not I don't have higher expectations
Starting point is 00:42:38 of this type of comedy but it just feels like a loss because I know that people get into comedy in general because they want to say smart, thoughtful, funny things about the world. I'm not even saying he should have been more woke about this he should have been more like demure
Starting point is 00:42:52 he could have made a whore joke It's a bad joke. And made it funny. Yeah, it was a bad joke. Like, say something, be subversive in some way. Right. The target could still be misogyny without the target being women. It could have still been like a little edgy or a little bit like, whoa, and still been funny.
Starting point is 00:43:10 He just didn't say anything after. He just said a thing that women get screamed out at bars for free all the time. And it's like, just what was the points of this? Like, what are you trying to say? For this. Right. It's us talking. about him right now. But he literally need it. I know, but that's why these things are written.
Starting point is 00:43:29 It's why, it's like, why we're all, like, all the headlines are about the word horror. All the headlines are about using the word horror where it's like, but also. He's not even usually aggressive against women. Like, I don't understand what that's point was. Okay, but that's great. So, Jackie, I know that, yeah, I know we have to get to the list. I just, if, it's the same with like Alex Earl last week. Did she just say she doesn't read a book for the, like, how then are we supposed to proceed in society? If the goal, isn't to say anything meaningful. The goal is only to say something that then gets you reposted or gets you headlines. Like how, like at that point, I've been detached. But we already have
Starting point is 00:44:07 MJ. What meaning is there if it don't respond to it because that's what they want. Okay, well then what are we supposed to do? Just be like, good. Call those women horse. You know, all right. Yeah, exactly. I don't know. But it is the deceleration of like the human intellect. We are watching people become dumber every day in culture, which is how the Manusphere podcast is risen and also contributed to what's going on right now. The reason I even been pissy about it and complain about it is because they interjected themselves into our government, like, directly. And so now we're all having to fucking deal with it.
Starting point is 00:44:43 We are, but we're also having to deal with the fact that it's Halloween time. And all of these things are spooky. Yes. It's all scary. My last thing is, if you haven't watched the other. and Graveyard video that just came out about a month ago, please, you have to watch it. It is like literally dismantling this entire thing in a very, very funny way. I will stop talking about it now.
Starting point is 00:45:02 It is not that I'm silencing you. It is that we are here to also talk about the things that are good in this culture, in this pop culture that we exist within. Part of this is that, of course, it's Halloween time. It's also the 30th anniversary of Scream. And it is also time for the list. Oh, who's on the list. Jackie, got a heck.
Starting point is 00:45:29 Natalie, did you feel good about that performance? I think so. We're getting them to sing with us. I think I get it. We're getting them to sing with us. Now, this isn't necessarily a list, but it is the behind-the-scenes stories from Skeet talking about their time while shooting scream.
Starting point is 00:45:50 Hell yes, Jackie. I love this. Yes, yes. I get so excited because, you know, we do a lot of horror conventions. We go to a lot of different, you know, my husband is a horror artist. We work in the world of true crime. And of course, Scream for me, one of my favorite all-time horror movies. It is one of those movies I think I can watch at any time.
Starting point is 00:46:11 I've seen it a million times. One of the many beautiful lures of this movie is that, and what I love, this has been also doubled down on by Matthew Lillard and Skeet that in the world of horror a lot of people, it is canon that Sue and Billy were romantic at some point, that there was definitely something more between them.
Starting point is 00:46:37 And they have both openly said in interviews, oh yeah. And we talked about like this was definitely something that like even Skeet has said like we didn't talk about that necessarily at the time. But it was something that like me and Matthew Lillard got so into it and so close that like we were able to play with parts of the characters that that they were able to explore. And so they are oftentimes referred to in the world of us queer horror lovers as like
Starting point is 00:47:07 the first husbands of horror for us. And it was that interview that they did at the at Comic Con was so cool or the panel. I mean, because he was like, we didn't have the framework of understanding its queerness at the time. But now that we do have that framework, we can see our acting, we can see the movie, the text as like with this queerness that we didn't really know we were giving it, but we completely accept it now. I love that. I think it's so cool. Yes. That's great. Especially as like Gen Xers who grew up around like the Carson Daily era to be able to accept that there was this like queer energy between them. It's really nice. Yes. And that now they've embraced it and it's something that
Starting point is 00:47:46 they talk about more and it's something that like it and it does like it really it makes a movie that was already a fundamental piece of horror that was made in the last 30 years to being like an upper echelon of like a like beyond just cult classic that is just overseen like scream is just it's such a huge one for so many people and I love reading about the way things are shot and I love especially it always makes sense and I feel like when we used to do pop history it was this of thing where it always made sense, especially when you watch teen-filled movies when they all got to hang out before they started shooting. And that is apparently what they did because when they first started shooting, it was they did the Drew Barrymore scene. And then they took two weeks for all of the
Starting point is 00:48:36 cast to get to know each other. That David Arquette built a bar in his hotel room. They were riding Go-Carts. They did like all this crazy stuff together for all of them to get to know each other. That's so because they were about to do such scary stuff together. They had to build trust. That's so an improv group of them. I know what it makes it. Were they banging? Banging? There's Ski doesn't get into a lot of that, but I think we can all dream, Natalie. I think there were a couple of nights and a couple of times and right. They're all young and hot. We talked about this like 10 things I hate about you. I would like to imagine that it was a very fun time for them.
Starting point is 00:49:18 Yes. I, and it seems like it was, even though it was, you know, very, it was a lot to shoot. And,
Starting point is 00:49:24 spoilers for scream, everybody for 30th anniversary, spoilers for scream. Spoilers for scream. I like that's very thoughtful. Thank you, thank you. A West Craven apparently was really big into leaning,
Starting point is 00:49:37 which I didn't realize, he wanted Billy to seem like the obvious killer the entire time. That is what he was leaning into so that when Ghostface stabs him that you're just like oh my God like you're so convinced that he is the killer and I remember like I'll never forget
Starting point is 00:49:55 watching Scream right Do you guys remember watching Scream the first time? I saw it when you said 30 years I was like holy shit because like I saw that in the theater as a kid like grownups bought me and my little friend's tickets and we went and saw a year yeah I was in my friend's basement
Starting point is 00:50:11 I don't even remember what friend. I just know I was in a basement. And yeah, this, I love this item on the list because this specific thing I had never seen. Like, I also, what's funny about Scream 2 is that like, for me at least, I was too young to understand that it was this like dialectic with every other horror movie that ever ever existed. So there's all this deeper textual references to other horrors going on that I missed. But the, but I remember that moment with Billy being like, they can't do that. That's not what happens in a horror movie. Because it has to be. him, you know? So like, man, again, mission accomplished. West Green. It's a horror movie made for
Starting point is 00:50:47 horror movie lovers. It is the beauty of Scream. This also makes so much sense. So Skeet apparently recalls a specific direction Wes gave him that helped him see a new side of Billy. He said the direction from Wes that I remember most vividly, because I specifically remember this scene, is the scene where Sydney and Billy are about to hook up in their bedroom and they're making out on the bed at Stu's party. And Skeet says, we rehearsed the scene a couple times. And Wes just comes over and says, think about how much Billy hates his mother and how's that, how that skews his relationship for him. And that unlocked so much.
Starting point is 00:51:28 And that, even just thinking of that gives me the shivers. Like that is such of like, yeah, of course. Because you think of like, yeah, of course, of course. And like that putting that in his brain would unlock. a like a low level like sadistic feeling that he had towards Sydney that you wouldn't have to show on the outside. And yeah, like the, that's such a cool way of being like, this guy's a misogynist, but in a more complicated, nuanced way.
Starting point is 00:51:59 Like what if, what if this guy's hatred for women is this very, very personal thing? Show it that way instead of showing it in a more heavy-handed way. And also that I'm sorry, this is not about scream, but just his, the, the, The Skeed-Dolrix character in the craft, too, is so evil. Oh, evil. So scary. Like, unfortunately, so scary in a very recognizable way of that culture. Like, growing up around that era, the teenage boys were as cruel and ugly as that.
Starting point is 00:52:30 But now Shandallis waits until he gets on S&L to say it. So it's great. You know, now they don't just say it right to your face. They'll just write it in their stupid little skits, won't they? I don't say that. To me, I know we can't be doing this all the time, but that is giving. closet of behavior so bad. Like, I don't even know, dude. Like, also, and yeah, you want to talk about other people's bodies. And yeah, I am going to say it. You're dropping this, when I'm going,
Starting point is 00:52:51 to go, when I'm going to the gym. Honey? I'm sure he's going to the gym. Okay. Oh, you're going to, oh, did the tree fall in the gym? Like, I feel like it's like one of these things. I'm like, yeah, because we're like, when I'm pumping that iron. Okay. All right. Yeah, I bet. Sure. Yeah. Love that for you. Anyway, moving on, yes, skate in Matthew Lillard's chemistry happened naturally. I just love them. I love a Matthew Lillard, man. He's a good, right?
Starting point is 00:53:17 He's a very good. I love very good. He's a very good. Everything he says is better than the last thing he said, man. He is like aging so well. Both of them. Both of them. I just did this panel.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Every time we talk, any Matthew Lowe's brought up, I just always have to tell people to go watch his SVU episode where he is the lover of Carrable Burnett. That's like 10 plus years. ago. But she didn't remember the Carol Burnett episode. I don't remember that Matthew Lillard was there. So, so, no, so canonically, we get to watch him be, be kissing on Billy, and we get to watch him bang Carol Burnett in my brain. I mean, yeah, they're not showing them banging on SVU, but the episode is fantastic. SLC Punk was, I think that Matthew Lillard might, I think my first crush, I know my first, like,
Starting point is 00:54:11 looking at the television, I have a crush on that person was Billy Joe Armstrong and the when I come around video. And I think the second one might have been Matthew Lillard an SLC punk. I was just like, that man is perfect. And I was right. Yeah, good choices. Oh, great choices. That's my list. That's my scream time for everybody. Great list, Jackie. I love that list. Thank you. Well, it's about to get worse over here with the blind items. But, oh, I forgot to do my thing. Oh, thinking about all these men and their hatred of women. Ooh, it just fills me with rage. It makes me
Starting point is 00:54:44 just blank with rage. I think I'm going. Blind! Items. Ah, we can't see them. Blind with rage. Blind with rage. Okay, well, this is just a real weird one. The illiterate one used to love hooking up with
Starting point is 00:55:02 the former A-list television actor from multiple hit shows, including one he hosted. She loved seeing texts from his actress wife while they were hiding in his condo together. You will never guess this. I don't even know how to be seen. Say the top again. So we've got the illiterate. So, alliterative. Aliterative, yes, two of the same letter. And she, they don't really give any information about her, but I will give you information. So the woman is illiterative and the man is a former A-list TV actor, multiple hit shows.
Starting point is 00:55:38 one he hosted, I'm not exactly sure what they're referring to there, but a TV, a very beloved TV guy who's been in many very good shows. Beloved from our angle or beloved from the angle of the general populace? Both, I would say. No, he's more beloved than DeMallant. That's why I was asking. I'm like, he's not one of my beloveds. I just didn't know, like, are you saying, like, overall?
Starting point is 00:56:06 Kevin James. No, this, okay, this is so, okay, so unexpected. I'm going to try, I'm going to walk you through it. So he went through a very embarrassing public marital drama that kind of made him fall in everyone's eyes because the whole thing was such a mess. But he wasn't the bad guy in his marital falling apart. But he also wasn't a good guy either. He plays a good guy. He always plays a good guy.
Starting point is 00:56:35 He famously plays a really good guy. on a very beloved show that everybody loves about. And it's not Kevin Costner. And we're not talking about Yellowstone. No. We, I will say this to narrow it down. We were talking about SNL earlier. This person is an SNL alum who went through a very ugly marital breakup.
Starting point is 00:56:57 Correct. Oh, yeah. Okay, so what is he doing? Definitely. He is hooking up with somebody who the blinds call the illiterate one. They call her the illiterate one because she is in the blinds so often. Well, Megan
Starting point is 00:57:14 Markle's gone. That's her. That's her. This is alleging that Megan Markle. Is that why they had to move back to the UK? That's why they had to move back to the UK. This is alleging that Megan Markle and Jason Siddakis were hooking up. Now,
Starting point is 00:57:29 this makes no sense. This is a Ted Lasso thing? This is like a stretch. I don't know. Yeah. I included it because it's, it's like just crazy enough to work, you know? Like it does feel like a stretch. It makes no sense. All of the blinds about Megan are about how she's drunk and walking into things because she's so drunk.
Starting point is 00:57:47 Also really crazy too because there's so many headlines of like what Prince Harry and Megan Markle are wasting their time with now that they're back in the UK. It's like, Jesus. She's sad. He's sad. They're drinking. It's just no good. But maybe she's banging Jason Sedakis.
Starting point is 00:58:04 Again, I don't think this is true. For a year or now, I've tried to avoid Megan Markle blinds. And then I got to the point where I was like, she's in every other blind. I just can't. You got to do it. But this one was just so weird. I needed to bring it to the table to figure out what the hell. So unlikely.
Starting point is 00:58:23 So unlikely. That's what it's tricky about Megan Markle. I know people really don't like her. But I feel like she is treated in a way that doesn't. seems super fair? A hundred percent. We talk about this a lot on page seven that like a lot of like the, a lot of the feelings come from misogyny and racism.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Yeah. Our feelings come from the fact that she doesn't do the podcasting job. She gets paid millions of dollars to do. That is our own personal grime. Absolutely. But I have nothing. But outside of that, it's more of just like, as long as you're not, you know, we're like actively trying to destroy the field with which we do.
Starting point is 00:59:04 entertainment in, I'm fine with Chibbe. Right. She, she, so much of, it's just one of these situations where so much of the criticism she gets is completely unfair and sexist and racist. And then every so often, you'll see, she didn't do that. And you're like, what the hell is this? Which, yeah, I'm not, I don't know her. She could be awful in person, but the stuff that I do see is like, we're mad about what?
Starting point is 00:59:31 Yeah. It's like, she had lunch with some. one. She's such a bitch. In what way, though? She's annoying, okay. Because she was on suits. It's like, well, you can't blame suits.
Starting point is 00:59:43 Yeah, can't blame suits. And also, I also brought this one in, honestly, not to drag her, but because ever since we've been talking about what a nightmare, Olivia Wilde looked like in this fallout of divorce, we keep hearing, getting emails and getting little birdies telling us that actually Jason Siddakis is the nightmare. Is the nightmare. He has come out looking like a real good guy. fact he's the night. This is also lots of talk. There has been The Whispers, The Whispers with Ted Lasso.
Starting point is 01:00:09 And like, there's all, you know, because I didn't, I ended up watching the, another season just popped out. And I watched the whole thing. And I was like, I thought the other one was last season. And then I watched it. So I was like this new season too. Yeah, I mean, I watched it. It was one of, I've never watched it. And I like Jason Sedegas as a like a comedian, I think. Same. He's made me laugh before. Yes. I like him a lot. I, and God knows what's real, but I've heard he. a bit of a poon hound. Bit of a, yeah, and that is what they're still calling them out there on the street. See, Shane Gillis used the word poon hound, and I probably would like it for. At least it's a more creative word.
Starting point is 01:00:46 Yeah, like, you see what these pun hounds are wearing to the gym? I'd be like, what? Give me something, fucking Shane. Yeah. That is the most lazy, boring. I'm sorry. It's just so stupid. I know.
Starting point is 01:00:58 I know. All right. What else we got? Line number two. The A list. actor-director just can't stop hooking up with the A-list everything in her eyes, celebrity, which is why he is always publicly glazing her. It's the greatest hits over here at page seven.
Starting point is 01:01:16 We talk about him a lot. Glazing her. Sorry, I'm really thinking about the phrase glazing her and Poonhound and I just get lost in the sauce. Unfortunately, the phrase glazing now in my head belongs to Curtis Slewa, who told Zoran stop glazing me during a debate. and he's the, critically was the Republican candidate for mayor.
Starting point is 01:01:36 Oh, that's the angel, guardian angel, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's something else. He's something else. Don't glaze me, Zoran. That's what I always think of when I hear glazing. But it is true that this person was glazing, this person all last week in the headlines.
Starting point is 01:01:51 He's in the headlines a lot because he has a new movie coming out. And, oh, we're so happy for him. He was not happy for such a long time. And he seems like he's doing better now. Oh, are we talking about? Ben? Mm-hmm. Oh,
Starting point is 01:02:05 Ben, our Benji boy. And who is he still hooking up with? Who is he glazing? Who is he glazing? A-list everything in her mind? J-Lo. Allegedly. No.
Starting point is 01:02:18 They can't be. Can't be. Can't be. Can't be. I know that like she. J-Lo is really like, I think close with the children and stuff, right? Like, I think that they have a sort of weird. Well, all the kids got, I think all the, all the, all the, all the, all the,
Starting point is 01:02:32 teenagers, her teenagers, and now I think that they all bonded, I think. I love this. The fact, I know I shouldn't love Ben Affleck. I know I shouldn't. I really shouldn't. It's just, I love his relationship with Jen Garner. I think, yeah, no matter how many times. I think it's okay to love him.
Starting point is 01:02:49 He's very smart. Take it to the bank. I want J-Lo and Ben to get back together. Take it to the bank. Ben Affleck has been like publicly right and actually hashtag brave about many things. He spoke out about the Iraq War at the time on television. I'm Bill Maher and he, you know, people were, you know, bad to him about it. And yes, he was sad Batman, but you know, I still watched him as sad Batman.
Starting point is 01:03:11 He's not Batman to me at all. No. I mean, Arpott's to me is the Batman. But he's sad man, though. He is sad man. And, you know, I don't know, if you can have just like a lovely, healthy relationship with your ex-wife and mother of your children while also hooking up with your toxic, you know, you can't get off again, lover.
Starting point is 01:03:31 It's green to beige flags. It's green to beige flags. Sure. It's like, I know again, the bar is in hell, but there's a lot worse guys out there. Oh, yeah. I'm just like, I'll take it. I'm at this point completely pro-loving Ben Affleck. I also felt weird about it for a long time because Jackie, because we spent so many years talking about how he was stripping the nanny and cheating on Jen Garner. And we didn't like that. Honestly, adult consensual cheating is like the least of my worries right now. At this point. Yeah. It's like, I can't be canceled for it. Like, Dave Girl's fine, you know, of whatever. He did bad to his wife.
Starting point is 01:04:02 Yeah. You can be like, I don't want to marry you. Yeah. I'll still pay money to see your movies, you know. Okay. And blind number three, this one is so fun. This is one that has two options that we get to decide. Okay, okay, okay. This one named Permanent A-list singer is someone who is hated at the schools of her kids. Teachers always want to see dad instead. Her reputation amongst other parents is equally as bad. one name could be two different options.
Starting point is 01:04:34 You know Madonna is nowhere near her children, so you know it's not her. It is not Madonna. I don't know. Does she still have kids in school? I doubt it. I don't know. I think that they're all grown. I think she's, you know, nearing in on grandma Madonna.
Starting point is 01:04:49 I mean, yeah, she's down there licking out a dog bowl. I love it. Natalie? As much as I have never been a Madonna fan, I support her if she wants to be a sexual being. You want to be sucking at a dog bowls. I love it. It's a good for her. You go on to Wolftown, baby. Now, Adele? Because I always think about, oh, what would it be like to have these people's kids at your kids' school?
Starting point is 01:05:10 Probably a nightmare. Yeah, couldn't be me because I'm sure they go to schools that cost many, many, many thousands of dollars per year. But no, it's not Adele. Not Adele. Not Adele. And now, well, no, Miley doesn't have kids. Who else? Who else? Who else? Who else? Who else? One name is the, is she here. It's not sheer. It's not sheer. Robin just had a baby, but it's not her because you know she would be a dream. Okay, so we talked, well, okay, one of these ladies got in pretty big trouble a couple of weeks ago with regard to rhymes with Shmed Shmiren. She kind of instigated a whole hubbub. Oh, pink! Yes. Oh, man, I made me so bummed out. I know, I know. We love your aerial work. We don't love. I know. I know. I've always really loved Pink. I didn't know she was that. I know. I know. I didn't know. I didn't know either until that post. It sucks. So she's one option. The other option is somebody who I, we truly love. We love, we never want to say anything bad about her. She's, she is royalty, if you will. And you're not calling Zendaya, the one named singer, right? Even high. What is the, What is that? Yes, the queen, Bay. It is either Bay, Anse, or Pink, who is a nightmare at her kids' school. Who do we think?
Starting point is 01:06:37 Oh, you know they both are. But here's the thing, actually, I just feel like Beyonce doesn't go to the school, right? I feel like Beyonce doesn't go to the school, but here's what I would throw down. It does seem, and it does seem that Pink brings her children with her on the road. So I imagine she might have tutors. That would be the only thing that I would think. But so does Beyonce. She brings blue ivy everywhere.
Starting point is 01:06:59 That is true. Can you imagine? Like, that's the thing. I'm like, is really Beyonce's going in for a parent teacher conference. And the teachers are like, we want Jay Z instead. I mean, I don't want Jay Z instead. I'm done with him too. They want dad instead.
Starting point is 01:07:14 So maybe it's neither of these ladies and maybe it's somebody else. What is the pink husband? What is he? Carry Hart. That's who it was. Yeah, Carrie Hart. A former professional freestyle motorcross competitor. Over at.
Starting point is 01:07:25 Maybe they'd rather carry heart. This is a good reminder that the blinds answers, I mean, if anything, the Jason Sedakas and Megan Markle one, obviously, sometimes these answers are not right. Last week, we did an open-ended one where we were talking about this toxic divorce and there was no answer. And we guessed that it was Kim and Kanye. But in this week that has passed, it has now become clear that it was probably Shia LeBuff and New York. And so sometimes, so that's, it's, it's, I like looking at the blind items as a living document, you know. So I could. It could have been flows.
Starting point is 01:07:59 Also, yeah, I didn't even realize you just said that. Pink and Carriard, I didn't realize they separated after 20 years together earlier this year. I think we talked about that maybe at the time. I just didn't even realize, I didn't put it in my rolodex of facts that it had happened. Like, I just knew they were together for a million years. They weren't, though. They had big long period. That song, So What, is about him.
Starting point is 01:08:18 Right. Like, they were separated and together and separated a lot. I really liked pink, too. I know. I did. I know. Why you have to act like that? Why are you got to do that, Pink?
Starting point is 01:08:30 Why are you going to act like that at your children's school? And with that, I can see. Wait, did I know that was number two. No, you did three. No, that was three. Okay, I can see again. Yes, you can see again. Welcome back, MJ.
Starting point is 01:08:40 Thank you so much for bringing us this. I mean, it really was page seven hitters today in the blinds. And thank you so much for them. And honestly, man, thank you, Natalie, for coming and hanging out with us today on this episode's page seven, even after having been with me all weekend performing in cosplay. And then I said, well, that I don't worry. I rode my roller coaster. Then you rode your roller coaster drunk alone in the evening.
Starting point is 01:09:08 The fast and furious coaster, the new coaster, the fast furious coaster, fucking nine out of ten. How is it? Is it amazing? Because on the fast and furious coaster, MJ, you're in the car and the car is spinning while you're on the roller coaster. Oh, wow. I can't wait. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:09:23 On it. Does it take you to ask you to ask? outer space like the last Fast and the Furious does. No, but it's, I will give it a better rating than the Fast and Furious ride in Orlando, which was just recently closed forever. But the coast are the ones that keeps
Starting point is 01:09:36 killing people? Oh, no, no. The Fast and Furious ride. No, that said six flags. Okay. The Fast and Furious ride is like rated as one of the top worst dark rides that's ever been made because of how boring it is. Oh, okay. That's fun. You need some someplace to fall asleep at a theme park and it
Starting point is 01:09:52 might as well be there. But Natalie, where can we find you? Usually at Universal Studios, right in a roll. Drunken alone. Drunk and I imagine you were also in a romanticcy costume. I was still on my makeup and hair. I will say that. Yes.
Starting point is 01:10:08 Yes. But other than that, if I'm not there, I'm usually in this studio recording podcast. So you can find me at someplace underneath. We're about to start new season. But Amber, my host and I are making a lot of short-from content right now. Stuff about Intrude is coming out. and Russell Brand, which, you know, those guys, pretty cool.
Starting point is 01:10:27 Are you talking about their Italian loafers and how they don't wear socks? Well, I do think that might be a red flag if you see it. I'm starting to believe. And then also, Jackie and I are doing tons of stuff over at LPN Romanty. Romanty Deep Dives. Check it out. We are getting, we're starting a bunch of stuff.
