Starting point is 00:00:00 PKN 629. Taylor, what's on your mind? Cheaters, Woody. Cheaters are on my mind. I didn't know where this was going. Michigan, we know Michigan's history, but stealing the other team's plays from a few years back. And then I don't know if you guys saw Michigan lost to Western Michigan on the last play of the game.
Starting point is 00:00:24 And then like the clock on every broadcast said zero. every single broadcast said zero. They added a second so that Michigan could get one more play and they scored. Like literally like ESPN, CBS, they all had, people have screenshots everywhere where it says like final 13 to, you know, six or whatever. And then they added a second magically and gave them a win. They gave Michigan a win after everybody reported the game was over. Like people were tweeting being like people were showing. Like people were showing like they were like, well, what's going on here?
Starting point is 00:01:01 Because I just won money on draft kings. Are they going to like pull my win back? Because they already paid me out on this upset victory that I bet on. So straight up cheating. Like not even close to redeem. What I want to know is who cheated though? I would think that the wraps or Big Ten or whoever. I guess Michigan was at home and they just sort of gave the home team an advantage somehow.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Well, by giving him an extra play. Like the game was over. But like, for example, Michael Jordan got defensive player of the year one year. Then people have gone back and watched the tape. His home arena just completely made up rebounds and blocks that he never achieved. Or a different player would block the ball and they'd be like, nice one, Jordan. So he got to Plensive Player of the Year largely on stats that weren't true. and but it's not what Jordan didn't do it
Starting point is 00:02:01 there's this ecosystem of cheating around him in the guys at the scorers table and the everyone just kind of made it happen so who cheated like I don't blame the Michigan coach he might not even know about this no I don't think it's like a guy on Michigan or even the coach but behind the scenes someone was pulling strings to make this happen because Michigan is a huge money-making school.
Starting point is 00:02:28 They are the most corrupt of all the schools that have a big block M on their helmets. They have no honor. You know, Missouri. Not like us.
Starting point is 00:02:41 Not like the honorable Missouri bringing it to Arkansas this past weekend or some weird like little pine tree Arkansas. They have an M on their uniform on their helmet? I don't think they do it.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Michigan does. Yeah. Yeah, they have that big. I think it's a, no, no. Michigan State is like the green Spartan helmet. Regular Michigan has that yellow M, I believe. Can we see a picture of a Michigan helmet? I must be wrong.
Starting point is 00:03:08 I don't know my college football that well. Yeah, they have a yellow M. Mizzu has a gold M. I think Michigan, not Michigan. Minnesota has a red M. But regardless, big cheating going on from Michigan, disappointing. And looking at the week one scores of college football, as a not huge football guy
Starting point is 00:03:28 it's like oh I see why people prefer the NFL because every single score from week one was like 66 to 10 like 70 to 0 and it's like this is just complete nonsense there's no M right oh those they have Wolverine helmets and then they have an M one I believe
Starting point is 00:03:46 oh okay okay this is the one that I was thinking of that's a better one I completely disagree there's nothing like hey in some middling school 1.5 million to come get slimed out in front of 85,000 of your home team faithful. All right. Nothing like having some 18-year-old who just barely made the cut into his little school. Take the field between the hedges and have to face off to some behemoth who's going to be starting in the NFL next year. Like it's a beautiful thing when that happens.
Starting point is 00:04:21 I've never heard getting slimed out. is that what happens when you're really good at giving a dog your scritches? Is that what that references? That's exactly. I almost used it last week for the title like, what do you get slumed out? What do you get slum? Dude, my wife told that story to someone in our universe.
Starting point is 00:04:43 I won't out. Oh, everybody she knows. Some woman. Yeah. And she's like, yeah, I won't judge. And it was like, oh, you've taken a load of two. all human though you know
Starting point is 00:04:56 different ballpark yeah because I saw you send the screenshot of Missou's great victory to me I saw the screenshot of George's huge win over a real fucking fucking
Starting point is 00:05:10 fucking same Mary's school for the deaf yeah big big football wins it was good it was rough I do not have high hopes
Starting point is 00:05:21 for Missouri this season our schedule's too terrible dude, I don't even know who we played this weekend. I forgot their name already. But it was a no mercy type game. We were like batting the ball down in the quarterback's face, just running interceptions back, like returning balls for 40 yards at a time.
Starting point is 00:05:41 I don't remember what the score was, but it was something like 60 to 3. It must be nice. Thus far, they haven't found a team that can beat you guys. Yeah, yeah. It's a pretty good schedule. Like for Georgia, like we only face maybe three or four
Starting point is 00:05:59 difficult teams. It seems like a lot of people are going to, I think we're going to do well again. We're going to be right there in the playoffs again, obviously. That'd be cool. There's no way we held our prestigious also receiving votes position. I bet we're not getting votes anymore.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Let's see if NC State is in, I'd like all of our teams to be in the mix. That would be fun. We got beat 38 to 8, something close to that, 33 to 8. But you probably played somebody really good. Was it a good team, though? Virginia, they're ACC team. They're one of the best sports colleges, like if you go across all the sports.
Starting point is 00:06:38 But they're not usually a football powerhouse. They're ranked. Like an intermural team. They're ranked. Yeah, they're 25. Like an intramural team. So at least they're there. Well, they only go to 25.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Don't they look girls play on the team? They probably let girls play on any team if they could contribute. There was a girl who was kicking for a while for somebody, and it was a bit of a story. Yeah, you'd have to be really good because I don't think the kickers are sometimes asked to tackle. And let's assume that she doesn't have that in her wheelhouse at all. So she needs to be better at kicking than the next guy because she's not as good at tackling, presumably. And she's not going to be. She's not going to be.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Yeah. Do you think Georgia's going to be undefeated this year? Oh, there's no way to know. I don't know. I'm sure we've got a chance to be. You've got a lot of SEC games in a row. Arkansas, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Yeah. You know. I mean, four of those are ranked, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Florida, not good. Like, like, the idea that someone is trying to have, like an advantageous schedule seems so weak to me. That seems so lame. The way Notre Dame does their entire
Starting point is 00:07:55 football program, it's like, we're either the best or we're not. Let's find out. Like, I don't care who we play. Let's do it. Like, what I don't want is a schedule so rough in comparison to the opponents that we have to face in the playoffs that we're injured and they're not. Like, you don't want that. You want
Starting point is 00:08:11 sort of an even amount of that going on, but I want to play the best teams in the country and see if we're as good. You want to be tested. You can't have one of those schedules that's so weak that you go undefeated and miss the playoffs. Right. No one wants that.
Starting point is 00:08:27 But you also don't want to just go against the best teams every week. I do think Notre Dame is guilty. Stop playing in the SEC. They have like a top 50 difficulty. Probably if they're Notre Dame, it should be top 25 schedules, something like that. Notre Dame schedule is a complete joke. Is it? Their only ranked teams are BYU, Miami, and SMU.
Starting point is 00:08:53 We looked up their strength of schedule. It was really low. Georgia faces four ranked teams. Notre Dame faces three. And they're a complete joke. SMU is not a real. SMU is not a real ranked team. That's like one of those like they always play week schedules.
Starting point is 00:09:11 They're one of those teams that like gets put in the Pop-Tart bowl and loses 60 to three at the end of every year because they're like, oh, maybe they really do have a chance against fucking. and Ohio State. No, no, they don't. It's like when Tulane is up there or like James Madison. It's just silly. So Notre Dame's strength of schedule this year is the 56th hardest nationally.
Starting point is 00:09:33 The A's is the 20th hardest nationally. Yeah, I'd like to see it like top 25. That's what I was, I do think 50's too weak for Notre Dame. I just, I think maybe we overstate the case that they're only playing. the weakest schools when I mean they're playing they get to pick their own schedule. They started off with
Starting point is 00:09:55 Wisconsin then they play Rice Michigan State Purdue North Carolina Stanford BYU you real team Navy Miami very good team UNC they're the blue one
Starting point is 00:10:11 yeah they're not very good yeah and then Bill Tick moved in there and the only story is how hot his girlfriend is and how like I forget is assistant coach got fired for I don't know
Starting point is 00:10:26 fucking the wrong person like that team is a mess yeah it's not good news for their program if you hire Bill Belichick and they're like check out her tits like no one's like wow he's really is a 23rd that's where Notre Dame should be
Starting point is 00:10:44 somewhere around there that's what happens to you play in the SEC yeah to get the inflation. The best for the best. Well, you have to play the better team. The best for the best. We don't.
Starting point is 00:10:54 We don't. The rest of the West, they win in the playoffs. We don't have a Rutgers. There's no Rutgers in the SEC. There's no like swish. Like there's like, like the best you can hope for is like, oh, South Carolina. They're not that great this year. And they're still like good.
Starting point is 00:11:11 How come they don't win in the playoffs? They win all the time in the playoffs. You sure? I think a lot of, I think in our case, a lot of our players, end up like going to play in the NFL and they don't want to get injured in the playoffs if it's not an actual. That's probably valid. I bet there's a bunch of that.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Yeah. I want to say that happened like two years ago in Georgia. It happens every year we're playing the playoffs. It's like, oh, not, we're not playing for the title though. I'm, I don't think I'm going to show up. And dude, come on. Didn't LSU threaten to like hire old NFL
Starting point is 00:11:42 players to play? Did you hear about that? I saw there was a story that they decided pros can't play in college. I didn't even know what sport it was. Basically, LSU wanted to like bring old pros and have them play. And immediately the SEC as an organization drew up articles to be like, if you do this, we're going to vote and we're going to expel you from the SEC.
Starting point is 00:12:07 This is a college football program. This is not for former pros. And LSU was like, guys, I'm just a little fella. It's my birthday. I was joking. I was choking around. This is a college football. football program and it's not for pro. What is it about like I don't know college doesn't mean not pro
Starting point is 00:12:24 college means pros they're all getting paid right? Well I thought it was going to be my understanding was that they'd like take a guy who was like cusp NFL player played for a couple years he's probably 27. Oh no they're bringing back billy madison style no they're bringing a who's that fucking homo virgin from Florida what's his name again Tim Tebow back to Boebo back to But you're not, but you're not, remember that you should add at the end of that, I'm not mad. But I'm not mad. But I'm not mad about that virgin Tim Thibbo. Yeah, I'm not mad about that at all.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Fuck that guy. God, I hope something bad happens to him. I look at the, just because he ran Georgia for so many years. I wake up squinty-eyed and I look at my phone. I'm like, is Tim Debo okay? Yeah. He's fine. He's living his best life.
Starting point is 00:13:14 Yeah, he seems, he seems happy. he's a good man he's respected and respectable and Colin's like fuck that guy not Kyle yeah friendly as good friendly he had dates right one has a bad word to say about him he'd hear this and be like I watched a putt in a golf tournament one time I was like yeah fuck you yeah fucker ah bogey change the channel I don't even watch golf just I tuned in to hate on him I hate him so much. Yeah. That'd be kind of cool.
Starting point is 00:13:48 I'd like to bring back like maybe Brett Fav has a few more in him. I bet LSD'd love to bring that guy back home. I think he's like 55. For the Tigers. Maybe I'm talking about my ass here, but I bet Brett Favre is better than the current quarterback of LSU. Although they, I mean, they've got a good team this year. They squished Clemson over the weekend.
Starting point is 00:14:11 They're talking about firing Davos Sweeney. So that was fun to watch too. Thompson has been bad for like five years now. Yeah. They were really, really good, like 10 years ago. I think they won like two national championships. They won a couple of titles. And then they immediately collapsed and suck now.
Starting point is 00:14:29 I don't know why. I don't know why either. I was reading articles about it. And apparently, uh, yes, apparently dabbo Sweeney, their coach didn't adapt to like the transfer portal.
Starting point is 00:14:43 Adaptation of college football. And he was like, no, we've always done it this way where we just find like skilled high school players. And we sign them that way. We have homegrown talent. Everyone else is like, you know, Georgia. Meanwhile, it's like, that's fascinating. Hey, can we steal that guy from Virginia? He rocks.
Starting point is 00:14:59 And then, of course, the guy from Virginia comes over. Like, he just didn't adapt with the times. I didn't know. It was his fault. I mean, he's a college football coach. So he'll get fired and then immediately rehired somewhere else. I feel like the transfer portal is good for everyone except the fans. Like, as a player,
Starting point is 00:15:18 Shucks, you know, maybe your third string and you think you're being overlooked, you can go to some other school that's going to get you time so that if you're just on the cusp of being a pro after this, you can put yourself in a better situation. It's good for them.
Starting point is 00:15:30 If you're school, sure, for every winner, there's a loser, but they can go out there and try to fill some holes and it's another avenue for them to get the team. If you're a fan, then, you know, the players you got attached to left. and I wish in sports players stuck to their teams more often and I don't know what mechanism to make that happen is good for everyone
Starting point is 00:15:53 but I'd love it if somebody smart came up with a good idea and it can make the smaller schools feel like a farm program where like if Virginia I just picked Virginia like they they develop a guy diamond in the rough great running back or something and then suddenly Alabama or Georgia are like that guy get him they can't afford this NIL payment. Well, we can send them over.
Starting point is 00:16:17 And then all the Virginia fans are like, this sucks. I would watch it having Major League Baseball. And it went the other way. He was on some big school that you would both respect. It might have been Bama. But he was like their fifth best receiver. And he really wasn't getting the throws he needed to get the attention of NFL scouts.
Starting point is 00:16:37 So he went to a smaller school where he would. And it's like, all right. You know, there's more than one way to win the transfer portal. I don't know what the solution is, but Yeah. The nature of college football just lends itself to so much nonsense because most teams don't play each other. Every other like sports league, all the teams play each other.
Starting point is 00:17:00 Like if you want to tail the tape of how the Carolina Hurricanes and the St. Louis Blues are matching up, you can look at any of their three games that they play. Like you can kind of see, oh, they split it to one. It's not a lot of games. That's not a lot of games, but that's because Carolina, is an East Coast team and we're a West Coast team. And so you only play teams from the opposing conference three times.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Yeah, but that's like, oh, we have a five game series over the next three days. If you can play five games in three days, it's not a sport. What are your Phillies have a chance here to squish some lemon juice in the Atlanta Braves eye? So the Braves have been running the NL East all season. They've been in the lead. It's coming down to the wire.
Starting point is 00:17:40 I don't know how many games are left in the season. I would estimate that there's, 14 games left in the season, something like that. The Phillies, I think, are about three and a half games back, maybe four, four and a half, but they play the Braves like nine times. I guess we'll know whoever deserves it, we'll get it. Whoever deserves it. But baseball's so hot and cold that it's like, fuck, man, why do we have to play them at the end of the year?
Starting point is 00:18:07 Why did we stack all those Phillies games at the beginning of the year when they were struggling and we were killing it? Are they both in the playoffs? That's what I was thinking. Philly's, I'm sure they can lose their way out, but they're in the playoffs currently. Yeah, you'll get the wild card. Oh, I didn't realize you guys were in the same division. And everybody else is left in the dust. Oh, you guys will be fine.
Starting point is 00:18:31 Miami's too far behind both of you. Yeah, but you want to win. Winning the division is pretty far as a better. You get a favorable postseason. Yeah. I like it when teams have to play each other for that spot to see what's up. You know, as opposed to leaving it to MMA math. If anyone doesn't know what MMA math is, it's this concept of like, Taylor beat up Kyle. Kyle beat up Woody.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Therefore, Taylor could beat up Woody. Maybe, or maybe I'm really good at the thing he's weak to. Like, you know, sometimes it doesn't work like that. It's best ones like that. it's more like a moral paper scissors yeah yeah it's more like a mortal combat game you're like holy shit
Starting point is 00:19:18 it's kind of like mortal combat in real life like i mean we've got that right now like justin gaecchi's the champion and there are multiple guys who have beaten him but the guy that justin gaecchi beat to become champion had beaten those guys that have beaten justing gachi the math just doesn't math doesn't work that way yeah
Starting point is 00:19:35 gachis he's he's super hurt right isn't he not coming back soon he's 37 and he's he's said stuff like my legacy is complete so like we'll see if he fights again I think he'll come back and fight if they find a way to make an interesting fight but the rumors right now are gaichi toporia too um that's the heard that rumors that I have heard and stuff that I've seen but that's uh I don't think deserves a rematch I don't think he'll damage just to toporia he doesn't look the same I've seen pictures of him he's healed but his face is shaped differently now.
Starting point is 00:20:12 I need to see that. Yeah. If you go on like RUFC, they're all about it over there. Those guys are fucking weirdos. Like the RUFC subreddit. Those guys are, RMMA is like,
Starting point is 00:20:27 they've got good mods and they keep it very regimented over there, very professional. There's no like, like, meaning. I mean, if there is,
Starting point is 00:20:34 it's professional meaming. You go to RUFC. It's a clown show over there. They get down. I prefer that personally. I'm scrolling it. There's a picture of Gaichi handing Tuporia a lollipop, and Teporia and the ref are wearing propeller hats like children.
Starting point is 00:20:52 I don't know what I'm looking at. Yeah, that's not the fight that I want. I saw the next UFC card, the one in Salt Lake City is so trash. Everybody's making fun of it, so that's been kind of front and foremost. The UFC community. Can you leave that up, Zach? Zach, so fast. I missed it.
Starting point is 00:21:14 I missed it, Zach. I was looking for that photo. Shit. Here we go. He does look different. Obviously, is he mirrored his nose, or did his nose switch directions? Gathe straightened his nose out for him. He over-didn't.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Yeah, I think he's mirrored. He has to be. I think he might be mirrored. Yeah, let's use his hairline. See, it's going the other direction, I think. Oh, yeah, yeah, it must be. They may have done that to exaggerate the looks different vibe, like mirrored one side.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Yeah, I don't know about that. There you got, he's a little swole up. Wait, are they even the same person? Who are these people? I'm not face blind. I'm terrible at this game. If you told me that they were brothers, I'd be like, yeah, I know. Don't these two guys look a lot like that other guy?
Starting point is 00:22:18 They've got the same fucking Trident tattoo on their neck, or whatever that is. Oh, yeah, yeah, all right. It is definitely the same guy. All right, I don't know. I'm terrible at this game. Side of his head and his orbital there. I don't know if that ever heals right. You've got a broken orbit.
Starting point is 00:22:31 Probably not. I'm looking through the baseball standings. I feel like embarrassed. I should notice. Does Carolina have a baseball team? No. That's one of the Braves should have this massive fan base. We have the entire southeast minus Florida.
Starting point is 00:22:48 That can't be right. That is right. It seems like the kind of thing Kyle would know. It does seem like that thing. I know Alabama doesn't have any. No. Arkansas. Mississippi doesn't have any.
Starting point is 00:23:00 Indiana, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia. Virginia. Arkansas are mostly Arkansas. Arkansas are mostly Cards fans not Braves fans because they don't have home I suppose so you could lean that way if you want to
Starting point is 00:23:14 but I'm just saying the team of the south is the Atlanta Braves those are the boys Yeah Does Tennessee have one? No No no That's weird that feels like a missed market Like throw Carolina a team
Starting point is 00:23:29 There's a ton of people there They can support a hockey team How could they not support a baseball team? I don't know they barely support the brakes they should be well they're in Carolina why would they it's your priority as a Georgia to support the Brains that's the southern team
Starting point is 00:23:44 it's totally not fuck you racist who's the southern baseball team racist you don't like where did Rocka play Rocco who's Rocker is that his name John Rocker
Starting point is 00:23:57 John Rocker? We got rid of John Rocker he was insane it wasn't like that it's not like John Rocker was a product of the Brave system John Rocker was a uniquely insane individual who documentaries and TV shows and books have been written about. Incredibly racist. There's, have you heard, maybe.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Yeah, but he could really throw that ball. First of all, first of all he fucking could. So a writer, I think from Sports Illustrator or something like that, comes down to Atlanta. He's going to spend like a weekend with John Rocker and write this story about him. And he's like, I get in the car with John.
Starting point is 00:24:30 He's this big guy. And he's, if we're going through traffic and this lady swerves a little, fucking Asians can't fucking drop for shit he goes and we get past the car and I look it's a white guy
Starting point is 00:24:43 it's like the whole weekend it's just John being an awful they have to go talk at a church or no a school for like underprivileged kids or something
Starting point is 00:24:54 and he's like do you like doing this kind of work he's like fucking hate it fucking hate it hey kids John John Rocker DMs me
Starting point is 00:25:05 Twitter a couple years ago. And really about coming on the show. And I messaged Chiz in our chat. Yeah, I really admire your access. Really good. You had me believe in it. And I messaged Chis. I'm like, hey, I don't know anything about this.
Starting point is 00:25:20 But I remember Kyle mentioning him, this guy's like a former pitcher, like really like eclectic personality, odd guy. And he wants to come on. And Chis was like, I don't know, do a little more research into him. He's maybe not the most ad. friendly guy. And I was like, oh, well, then I shouldn't have been talking with him in D.N. It's being like, for sure, Mr. John Rocker. Yeah, he'll definitely do it. Yeah, when he said he's a racist, he's not like a funny ha ha racist. He's like, are you coming to the meeting tonight,
Starting point is 00:25:51 racist? Where some see heroes and others see egos. Bloomberg sees the era of billionaire athletes. While others follow the noise, we follow the money. Learn more at Bloomberg.com. But he's probably sometimes funny, ha-ha, racist. And he represents the Atlanta Braves. And when he does it. Was he like one of the, did he play his whole career on the Braves? He played. I didn't really, but when I tell the story, yes.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Oh. So we, the big story was, we were playing in the Rafters. The big story was we were playing, I think, the Yankees in the World Series that year, maybe 1999. And John was like, He did an interview with Sports Illustrated or somebody, and he was like, somebody big. He's like New York, fucking more like Jew York.
Starting point is 00:26:44 You go down through that subway and it's fucking faggots and homos of every cut, creed in the nomination you can imagine. I mean, this is pretty funny. Ha ha, ha, racist. We're laughing. At first, the fags distract you from the fucking inwards and the Jews, but that only lasts until the smell it, you know, It was like this mean shit.
Starting point is 00:27:08 Yeah. It sounds like he's like walking back and forth on a stage, like occasionally like flipping the cord. Yeah, the cord out so he doesn't walk in front of it. And another thing about New York. And when he come out. The tunnels. Don't get me started. What's Charlie?
Starting point is 00:27:27 Wild thing, right? Wild thing. Am I making that up? Am I conflating it with Charlie Sheen's walk out? I thought he walked out to Wild Thing. it was I want to rock okay so Taylor here's here's the here's the deal
Starting point is 00:27:43 I know you don't like super no baseball but you'll understand this this isn't that complicated so he's a he was a relief pitcher or maybe a closer it doesn't matter which what matters is he's the guy that when you're starting pitchers in trouble when we're in an issue here there's men on base there's one or two outs but the count is bad and this guy's lost it we got to we got to bring somebody in who can close this thing
Starting point is 00:28:06 And all of a sudden you'd hear, I want to rock. And a door would open in the back of the stadium. And out would emerge John Rocker, furious at having been called upon clearly. And he's sprinting as fast. He's doing like an angry white dad run. Like he just saw you do something at the pool you're not supposed to. And he's running safely on the concrete to get to you. And he's going to fuck you up.
Starting point is 00:28:36 when he gets there and he's pissed and the fans are losing their shit they might even shoot some pyrotechnics off you know and he's just fucking hauling ass to the mound he's what eastbound and down is based on you know that whole like show on HBO he was a problem he was pretty good you throw really fast
Starting point is 00:28:57 I remember him throwing like 101, 101, 102 like pretty hard why can't like what is the difference between a starting pitcher and a relief one It's just the relief guy can't go for five innings. There's a lot of reasons why people end up in the various positions of pitching. I've seen it be sometimes where you're a guy who only has one or two innings in you. You're good for one or two.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Maybe it's because that's just how you're built or maybe it's because you're like a veteran who's had some sort of arm surgery. John Smoltz did that in the end of his career. He was a he's a Hall of Fame starting pitcher who got Tommy Johnson. John's surgery on his arm or his elbow or whatever, and came back and became a Hall of Fame closer. He couldn't pitch a whole game because of his elbow, but he could give you all he had for one inning, and he was lights out at it.
Starting point is 00:29:49 It's really good. But John Rocker was a relief pitcher, I remember. I'm pretty sure. But I don't know. Well, it seems like he had a very successful career. So that makes me think he was less. I don't know anything about his career. I just know about all the things I just said.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Zach said he played seven years total, four in Atlanta. That's pretty impressive. He didn't play for any other teams for more than a year. Like Cleveland, Texas, and the Tampa Bay Rays, maybe, TBR. So, yeah, he didn't have a long career, but he was a pro. I don't know if you guys have ever seen it or driven past it. The Tampa Bay Rays Stadium is the worst stadium I've ever seen in my life. It's the ugliest, eyesore, disgusting,
Starting point is 00:30:35 anachronistic, like, I think it's called Tropicana Field. It is the worst professional sports stadium in America. It has to be. Have you driven past that? Kyle, I imagine you have. I have no idea. Oh, it's terrible.
Starting point is 00:30:51 Bush Stadium is really nice. I've only been to a handful of games, and they've all been Braves games. I've been to some spring training games in Florida and South Carolina before, but those are like little fields. I like bad stadiums more. I like getting a little close sort of the players. I like seeing
Starting point is 00:31:07 a little better. I like the history. I like stadiums where like, this is where Charles Barkley did his thing. That veteran stadium is. No, no. It was the spectrum. It's gone. But like, I don't know. I like the history and the old stadiums, the ones that are not so shined up and
Starting point is 00:31:23 beautiful and made of glass. Yeah, I can see that. What are the best stadiums you guys have ever been to? Depends why you're looking to a time. There's the experience once you're in there, the viewing experience and then there's the customer experience, what
Starting point is 00:31:39 parking was like and what like the food is like and everything and then there's like what's it like to get there? The stadium here is so out of the way it's like what the fuck I gotta go up there to watch the? It's really upsetting when you see where the stadium is compared to
Starting point is 00:31:55 where the humans are in Atlanta. It doesn't really work that well but when you get there like Mercedes Ben Stadium the concessions are amazing. Oh it's not down to none. I'm talking about the new Braves Stadium. Mercedes-Benz is actually pretty well-placed, but the new Brave Stadium is kind of out of the way,
Starting point is 00:32:12 and parking's a bitch, and it's a whole thing. I don't like the Hurricanes Arena. It doesn't have much of a soul or any life to it. I can't read the players' jerseys unless I buy good seats. I don't like that. It's literally scary near the top. It's so vertical. Like, everyone knows what steps are.
Starting point is 00:32:32 You could go up steps with your eyes closed. you go up steps, you probably don't even look at the steps. In Hurricane Stadium, arena, you absolutely do. You want ice picks. It's so fucking vertically oriented. If you were to fall forward, like, but not move your feet, just tip
Starting point is 00:32:47 forward, you'd fall down 18 feet. It's ridiculous. I've always thought about that in like the high areas of stadiums where it's that vertical. Like if you're standing up after a goal or whatever clapping, like in my head, I always think like if I just like
Starting point is 00:33:03 full on Sparta kicked this guy in front of me in the back right now. Like it would like CBS would talk about the the aftermath. Like it would be a huge just pinball downward of people being horribly injured.
Starting point is 00:33:20 I need a harness in one of those belay machines to clip in in case I stand up and tip of forward. What am I looking at? This is Atlanta Falcons. So the roof is a sphincter. It like closes up.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Wow. Oh, I see that. So those triangles at the top are like moving. So it's like a lens almost with a camera. Yeah. With the aperture closes. Yeah, they open and close. I don't know how much I like that like screen set up.
Starting point is 00:33:51 But. Well, it doesn't block your view. Yeah. The ones I traditionally like, I don't know. I don't know. I'm looking in the sort of back center where there's glass. There could be a screen there that might. be easy to see, but it doesn't suck that you're seeing the city.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Like, that's kind of cool. No, no, there's glass there. Yeah, you block the view. I thought you said, yeah. Oh, like on that glass. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Like, there's a spot there for, and presumably where we're looking from.
Starting point is 00:34:19 It's beautiful. This is like one of the few things in Atlanta I'm actually kind of proud of. It's like, oh, that's nice. Like, every time I drive past and I'm like, all right, we did that. Yeah, that's world class. Having, like, end racism in the end zone is so accusatory. it's like they're like hey you viewer end it
Starting point is 00:34:40 is that what that says yeah oh I don't know about hmm looks like an art museum yeah I don't hate it that'd be way too strong
Starting point is 00:34:53 see this is neat to me I like it from this angle more than the previous one in the from the side it just looked a little sterile and modern and I prefer you like her bent over and spread why. Yeah, I do. I like where the Cubs
Starting point is 00:35:09 play. I've never been there, but isn't it like super old? Riggly? Is that what it is? They're rigly? Where do the socks play then? That is Wrigley Field. I was going for the other Chicago. No, that's Riggly Field. Are they both playing the same place?
Starting point is 00:35:25 No, I don't believe so, but Riggly Field is Cubs. Okay. Okay, well then you know. Yeah, we were. for some reason I thought the white socks played there. I don't know where they play. Yeah, but I guess I was just wrong. The Blue Stadium feels kind of sterile. Like just the same thing you're saying where it's just like it's almost too new and too nice.
Starting point is 00:35:49 And if there weren't those little like exhibits of like all the statues of former players and like little like the Blues Hall of Fame stuff like you're walking through the concession area. Yeah, this is Rickley, right? I like that. I like that. No, no, this isn't Wrigley. This is the Sox Field. Who has the big green monster? Is that Boston?
Starting point is 00:36:11 That may be Fenway, right? Fenway. Red So, yeah, I got it right. I got it right. I got it right. Bush Stadium is. We all know sports here. There's not someone like driving to work right now being like,
Starting point is 00:36:23 God damn it! We've gotten every one of them. We got every one. But like hometown bias, obviously, but Bush Stadium is. fantastic. It's excellent. Like, big baseball town and a lot of baseball history.
Starting point is 00:36:39 If you like old time, if you like historical, Brave just put on an event. Like where they hit towards, you can see the arch right over the horizon of it. That's neat. The outside isn't great. Ballpark Village is neat, but once you leave that, it's fucking fallout. Brave just put on an event at a
Starting point is 00:36:56 Roman amphitheater. It's obviously not the Colosseum, but it looks enough like a Coliseum that they just said at Coliseum. It looked pretty cool. They put an octagon down, or not even Octagon, they put a ring down inside of a Roman amphitheater and had fights. Can you show this, Zach, and flip through it, Linkin coming. This is where the Sixers and the Flyers will be playing come 2030,
Starting point is 00:37:26 if things go according to plan. No sooner than 2030. It's like the moon landing. Dude, this place looks so sterile. Yeah, it suffers from a lot of the things that I don't love. But if it helps the team, I'm kind of teams, both of them, I'm kind of for it. But it's, this is what new arenas look like. And I just don't see the...
Starting point is 00:37:52 So they can't have any corners. Yeah, that's... ...in spots in case the masses, you know, storm the complex after a bad loss. They have to be able to have the snipers to have... have full view of the front. I think your choice of words was perfect with sterile, where it's just like, there's no,
Starting point is 00:38:09 there's no flavor to that stadium. It's just, it's like a dentist's office. Like just no, no excitement to it. You disagree, Kyle? That new Phillies, or not Phillies,
Starting point is 00:38:22 Hurricane Stadium? You thought that looked exciting? That was Sixers and, or Sixers, yeah. Yeah, they'll look at Shabers. Yeah, Zach, put that up. That's a good picture of Bush Stadium.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Bush Stadium's awesome. It's the one who the Cardinals play. That's where the cards play. Yeah. Oh, yeah, that is nice. I wish I cared about baseball because I'm waiting. Everybody here is obsessed with it.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Yeah, it is really nice. I've seen where places will have apartments that you can live in that are just essentially right there hanging over the ball field. You've got to go up a little bit, Zach, so you can see the arch. Dude, that's cool. That's really nice.
Starting point is 00:39:06 I wish there wasn't a parking lot in the view. If you get past that, it gets amazing. That isn't the best. I think the Rockies have like apartments that are like over the back walls. So you can like live there and like be on your balcony watching the game, which I was. Don't you see the Rockies from it? Am I crazy? I make that up.
Starting point is 00:39:28 I think you're right. That I don't know. I don't remember the mountains from Denver The Rockies are so bad That my My husband's back there Is this it? This is I see Rockies in the bottom right
Starting point is 00:39:41 On the left Yeah Oh You just watch from those Yeah Yeah but the punishment is you're watching a Rockies game Like here Don't they like hit more home runs here
Starting point is 00:39:53 Because of the altitude Like the thin air Oh I think they would hit less Because they're so bad that is holding them back yes my my cousin has lived in Colorado for many years in Denver and this is probably five seven years ago now we were at Thanksgiving and he was like dude I go to Rocky's games constantly and I'm like what you never have mentioned even the Cardinals to me like you don't care about baseball and he was like I don't care at all but they're so desperate to sell tickets that the it's cheaper to buy a two dollar and 99 cent ticket which is what it costs on ticket master like the day of the game and then they sell beer for so cheap there he's like me and my friends quit going to bars we just get tanked rocky's games it's cheaper we come out ahead you know you know the only negative is we have to watch
Starting point is 00:40:45 you know dog shit baseball we just get tanked at rocky's games yeah actually like I saw some YouTuber the other day and he was doing he was like these tickets cost $40 and it was just a regular almost nosebleed style seed it kind of sucked he's like these seats cost 120 bucks but all you can eat food and it was like and then he's just like my first plate and then that's the rest of the video is him going like my third plate I had to go back to some more of those Leonese potatoes because who you got you got to live right and he's just like he eats like a hundred dollars worth the fucking roast beef. I do the same thing.
Starting point is 00:41:26 If I ever get like club seats to a blues game, like me and the roast beef guy get to know each other where I'm like, Jose, my man. You know who it is? You know I'm two sliced boy?
Starting point is 00:41:38 I know that's all you're allowed to give, right? Oh, Mr. Taylor. That's, I mean, every time I get those free food tickets. I just eat nonstop. Camador Taylor is here. Do they get? Do they give you more than three slices?
Starting point is 00:41:57 No, no, they give you two slices and then you have to walk through the rest of it and you pick out whatever else you want and then you'd eat that and you'd have to go back for two more slices. I bet if I made a stink and was like, hit me with a third slice. You should be a nice. There's only two here. Good God, he just swallowed it like a heron. Just to see.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Moving down his throat, love. I'm tossing it back. You're dipping them in glasses of water. Yeah, I get up in the middle of those games where I'm like, I don't feel good, but the food's free. I should probably eat more. I made so much brisket yesterday. I ordered an eight-pound brisket, which was already really pushing it.
Starting point is 00:42:51 I was telling my girlfriend, I was like, honey, I ordered eight-pound brisket. going to eating brisket all week and the dogs are too and she's like all right i'm in for it it showed up a 16 pound brisket and so i made a stink about them doubling my money but not asking my permission so they gave me the whole thing for free so then i was like let's just have a blast now so i smoked 16 pounds of brisket yesterday and it's so fucking good i nailed it i uh i let it I cooked it for 10 hours and let it rest for like five hours. Did you cook the brisket you got for free with the smoker you got for free?
Starting point is 00:43:29 God damn right. Motherfucker beat the system somehow. Everything is coming up, Kyle. If you heard a story about a guy who cooked a big brisket, but he got it for free and the grill for free, you would really think that was a Jew, right? Like you wouldn't. John Rockerwood I mean brisket
Starting point is 00:43:52 it's adding up Is brisket a Jewish thing? Yeah yeah Yeah they like brisket a lot Because they don't have they can't have pork So they're big on beef and chicken I guess Oh about the brisket Yeah but I now
Starting point is 00:44:04 What did you do? Just rub it in mustard And then season the hell out of it And then just I got the special Texas brisket seasoning That's like 16 mesh pepper and salt or whatever the fuck they do, the traditional Texas brisket thing.
Starting point is 00:44:22 I used that and then with a mustard binder and then just smoked it until it reached 165, I think, and then wrapped it and then smoked it until it reached, I don't remember, 205, 207 or something, then pulled it out and rested in the oven at 170 degrees for five, six hours while I slept and then woke up and we ate brisket. I smoked pork steaks yesterday. I had never done that before.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Turned and I smoked corn. I had never smoked like full like corn with the husk on it. I soaked it in water for like two and a half hours and then just put it on like no seasoning, no butter. I did all the seasoning and butter afterward and they just cooked it in the husk. The pork steaks were fantastic. That's like the cheapest cut of meat you can get. It's very popular around here. I don't know if it's really popular there too.
Starting point is 00:45:11 When I went to the store, I got four and a half pounds of pork steak. and initially the label said $83. And I was like, this can't be true. And so I like took the package up to the butcher and I was like, hey, I don't think this is right. Like trying to be polite because it says it's $1.79 a pound and this is four and pounds. You know, I'm not, you know, I'm no Stephen Hawking. And he was like, oh, fuck. I think the new guy put the beef prices on pork again.
Starting point is 00:45:43 And then like went and he had to like unpackage all the pork and repackage it. it with the correct price. But it was $10 for four and a half pounds of meat. It turned out splendid. You rub it in mustard, seasoning. Two hours on the smoker, just on the grates. How hot? I think so.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Then I got two of those like tinfoil trays because you're supposed to braze it for two hours afterwards. So you just, you cook it in the barbecue sauce and the butter. And I had, I split it into two trays because I wanted to have multiple sauce. I didn't realize. Varieties. Yes. I did a couple of them Texas hot. And then I did a couple of them, Carolina mustard.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Neither my wife nor I are fans of like St. Louis or Alabama. Well, that's what I'm going to be if I keep eating these. I eat two more of them this afternoon. You skip the barbecue sauce. It's just butter. It's just more butter. Oh, really? No, the barbecue sauce.
Starting point is 00:46:38 I've been wanting to deep fry a steak just in butter. I've been seeing people do that. They do clarified butter. And then they like fry a whole steak in clear. clarified fried butter. That'd be pretty good. Fied butter. Yeah. Yeah, that's,
Starting point is 00:46:51 that's ghee, I think. What's clarified butter? That's when you remove the milk solids, and you've just got the fat part. It's also called ghee in Indian cuisine. They cook with it a lot. It's what regular butter burns at a low temperature because it's got all those milk solids and stuff in there.
Starting point is 00:47:09 But if you remove them, if you skim that away, you're left with like a really, it's almost like movie popcorn butter that like orange, not opaque, yellowish butter. That's yee. And it's a high temperature cooking oil as well.
Starting point is 00:47:25 It's just delicious. Just delicious. Did you use a... Or do you have a litany of sauces to have your priscuit with? Or are you just going straight up? No sauce. I'm kind of white trash. I really like Heinz 57 sauce.
Starting point is 00:47:39 I really like that on pork. Jeez, Louise. Yeah. Yeah. I like Heinz 57, like a ton. I really like it. I like A1 as well. those are my bread
Starting point is 00:47:48 I won't give you shit there A1 on a cheap cut of meat Not bad I like it Like it I have remember Because when I was a kid My parents would go to a steakhouse And I'm eight
Starting point is 00:48:00 So they're not going to give me a real steak I would always get a chop steak And then I would drown it in A1 steak sauce So I have like these distinctive Like olfactory memories Of A1 drenched Like charred steak And so whenever I have a steak
Starting point is 00:48:14 And I put a little A1 on there I'm like oh yeah It's his childhood steak. It's very comforting to throw that A1 on there. And if the meat's not good, it does its job. A1 was meant for the rancid meats that were commonly eaten during the time it was invented. I believe it's a raisin-based steak sauce. It is.
Starting point is 00:48:32 Yeah. It tastes good. Like I last time or maybe two times ago was at my grandparents' house. I saw they had A1 in the fridge and I hadn't had it in so long. I was like, oh, I'm going to heat up the steak. We had this afternoon. late night steak snack. And so then I warmed that up. And then I got the A1 out of the fridge, ate it. I'm like, this is pretty good. It's not exactly how I remember it, though. And then the next,
Starting point is 00:48:56 and I guess I just left the A1 bottle out because it was almost empty. And the next morning, my younger brother was like, who had A1 last night? And I was like, I did. And he was like, it says on the bottle, this expired in 2014. I was like, oh man, that's pretty old. And my grandma was like, I'm sure it's fine. You know, if you were going to get sick, you'd be sick already. That's true. Yeah, so no big deal.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Some stuff is like that. My girlfriend would clean up the cabinets and stuff, and I'll be like, that's not expired. Don't throw that away. That doesn't expire, like canned goods. And she's like, it says right here, 20, 23. It's been expired for years, Kyle. And I'm like, canned green beans don't expire. That's that's big bean trying to make you go back into that hidden valley and get some more.
Starting point is 00:49:56 That's bullshit. That's bullshit. That's fucking, it's lies. It's big SDA. Like, there are so many things that just don't go bad. I don't keep mustard. I feel very strongly about this. Maybe y'all will differ.
Starting point is 00:50:08 I'll think less of you if you do. I think ketchup is a warm food. I don't think it belongs in the in the refrigerator. or ketchup belongs in the cupboard because it's vinegar-based, so it doesn't go bad, and it goes on hot foods, so why would I put a cold sauce on my hot fries? He's making a lot of sense to me.
Starting point is 00:50:27 I get it. It does say to refrigerate after opening on the bottle. I don't do what bottles tell me to do, okay? He doesn't get pushed around by some bottle. I guess I don't eat a lot of ketchup, I'm realizing. I don't even think I have ketchup at home. I got a much of mustard in my fridge. Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:50:44 I've got the cheap yellow mustard for rubbing down for no use other than rubbing smoked meats. And then I've got my actual eating mustard. You've got a cadre of mustards over there? I do. Yeah. I bet I've got more mustard than you. The eating mustard is in a little glass bottle. How many mustard minus five?
Starting point is 00:51:02 I probably got four types of mustard. I bet I got more mustard in there. You might have more. But you probably don't have whole grain artisanal delicious mustard. My grains are so big. You're going to be seeing stars. You won't believe it. I'm a big grain guy in my mustard.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Me too. I want to have a little bit of texture there. I'll never put Heinz yellow on a burger or a hot dog ever again. I'll never, no, don't want that. Chat Chb-T is making a strong argument to refrigerate your ketchup. There's a lot of sugar in it. It loses the flavor if you stored at room temperature. If you leave it out for days and weeks, it will deteriorate.
Starting point is 00:51:41 You notice it darkening. One caveat. I agree with that. take. But I eat my ketchup fast. I will go through that bottle of ketchup in a week. It'll be gone. I use G.H. Hughes, which is that sugarless ketchup
Starting point is 00:51:54 that has no soul made by that black man. It's five calories for like two tablespoons. You can bake French fries and eat them with ketchup and then make your 97% lean hamburger with just lettuce and G.H. Hughes ketchup and
Starting point is 00:52:10 pretend like you're still a normal human being. And a big old slice of big old matre? No tomatoes. No, I don't do tomatoes on my, when I do a diet. No tomatoes. That's just silly. That there are no calories.
Starting point is 00:52:28 They're inflammatory, I think. I don't remember why they're not in the diet. Stop it. I think he's right. I use the vertical diet. I like Derek's diet. Tomatoes are bad for you. Fuck off.
Starting point is 00:52:40 Tomatoes and onions and garlic. Oh. Yeah, lots of the good stuff. There is, yeah. That must be why I'm inflamed as hell. Red meat and spinach and potatoes and sweet potatoes and white rice and almonds and eggs and cranberry juice, orange juice. And that's about it.
Starting point is 00:53:03 There's not a lot more in that diet. That's not good. I was picking out barbecue sauces yesterday, trying to figure out which ones I wanted to cook the, or braze the pork steaks in. And being in like St. Louis, K.C., like that barbecue section of the country, every time I look at sauces, I always think of Woody who likes the hyper sweet ones. And I'm like, man, Woody would be home in this aisle. Like sometimes I look at the back of those sauces and I'm like, this must be a misprint. There can't possibly be 200 calories in two tablespoons of this.
Starting point is 00:53:41 It's just loaded with sugar and I have to like search around for the hot or the because I like I think as far not as far as the meat, the meat they're off but the sauce themselves, the Carolinians, I think have a good lead on everyone else. Like vinegar based mustard sauces are really, really fantastic. Like the one that was like, I don't know, the sauce from my childhood or whatever is like a really thin, vinegory-based dark sauce that you sort of like dunk
Starting point is 00:54:12 the meat into like an aujou almost. I don't like the thick sugary sauces. That's not true. How could you not like a thick sugary sauce but just like I prefer like a thin vinegary sauce? It's too strong.
Starting point is 00:54:25 It just dominates the meat whereas it feels like vinegar complements it. Well, you're also turning it into a dessert if you've got that much sugar in your sauce. Like there's so much brown sugar and a good barbecue sauce. But again,
Starting point is 00:54:37 that G. H. Hughes barbecue sauce is pretty good, and it's almost no calories. It's like five or 10 calories for two tablespoons, and there's no sugar in there. I don't know how he makes his magical barbecue sauce with no sugar, but it's good. We got to get, we got to eventually get Woody on the smoker life because he's going to immediately realize that you get to take credit for cooking and it's the easiest thing in the world. You have an easier time getting him to do like a Skyrim let's play where where where where he has to do every side quest and but at the end of it he has to tell you why the bretons were right all along or something like that but imagine imagine this woody you go out there at like noon prep and throw on the ribs you stop in to like do two minutes of
Starting point is 00:55:25 like additional prep every two to three hours and then at the end of the day you walk into jacky in the family with all this food and you're like, I've been cooking for six out. Meanwhile, you've played five hours and 42 minutes of Elden Ring. You're just waiting for it to do its thing. And you get to play this like, I've been slaving away over a hot grill. It's fantastic. You get all the credit. No, thank you.
Starting point is 00:55:53 How many preps were in that three? Well, you prep it. All it is is rubbing the ribs with mustard and then seasoning it. I'm out. And then you... One step. I mean, like, it is, when you do a bunch of, like, smoking meats for dinner and then you go back to normal cooking, it's like, this is ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:56:18 I have to pay attention. And there's all sorts of things to do in the moment, like on the skillet or in the kitchen. I use it as a grill now, too. At first, I was only smoking things, but I got some pretty thick rib eyes the other night. And I took the smoker and turned it up to 500 degrees. and let it like get crazy hot for about 20, 30 minutes and just grilled those things on there. And it was so good. And it gets, it's so much hotter and better in the pan.
Starting point is 00:56:42 I got grill marks on the steaks. They're getting all melty and charred, little burnt bits on the edges. It's delicious. Do you have an old grill? No, no, the smoker does everything. I haven't touched my normal grill in three plus years. I only used to have like a charcoal, like, I don't know, one of those $100 ones. you know, one of those dome things.
Starting point is 00:57:03 And I would use that occasionally. But inevitably, those things get rusty. And I'm just like, let's, uh, let's just leave it by the curb when we leave this place, right? We're not bringing that with us. I'm not abandon those things like dogs. Well, at $100, what are you going to do? And they get gross immediately. My, my friends had one.
Starting point is 00:57:22 And they used to, like, this was close to a decade ago, but I don't go over to their apartment. Two of my buddies were roommates. And they'd be like, just bring the meat. I'm going to grill. and then I would see the state of his grill and be like to just like a quick scrape at least like isn't it easy to get the bulk of it off it's so easy you just get it hot as shit
Starting point is 00:57:44 and then you scrub it when it's really hot and it takes care you can either use tinfoil or a brush and it was just milk time bought me my first grill really mil time yeah they uh they came down to do that video at my house and I didn't have a grill and they needed a grill and he got on the phone with I don't know who somebody from Maker maybe and he was like hey we're here we're here to do the video in Georgia but they don't have a grill here that we have in our budget to get a grill and it's like yeah totally and so I was like all right how much do we
Starting point is 00:58:14 have he's like looking at me he's like yeah yeah we're good how much we have the budget for the grill you know it's kind of a big deal and he's like all right 1500 it is yeah we can probably squeeze it in for that yeah but why have one why have one good girl when we could have 12 decent ones. That would be a big meal time, me. Just like it's an array of a coal quiver of Webbers. Yeah, I mean, that's what we should have done. But I had that grill forever for years and years after that.
Starting point is 00:58:43 And until I got this smoker for free from Amazon somehow, I really dig it. I like it. It's idiot-proof. It's genuinely an idiot-proof way to. You would have to forget. Challenging hours. You'd have to like wake up the next morning and be like,
Starting point is 00:58:59 my beef. Like that's like the level of forgetting. You'd have to have to. The thing that got me to do it is we ordered ribs somewhere and they were like crazy expensive and I was like, wait a minute. Aren't ribs like $3 a rack
Starting point is 00:59:12 at the grocery store? Cheap as fuck, dude. These ribs were $28 a rack that I've got here and I'm like, don't these cost $3? Isn't the preparation putting it in a box and waiting? Like it is.
Starting point is 00:59:25 It totally is. Now I do, my ribs cost $3 a rack and there. They're so fucking delicious. They're so fucking delicious. I love that thing. I made that chili the other day where I made the ball of meat over the pot of beans. That was a fucking cool.
Starting point is 00:59:40 That was weird. It didn't look good. It didn't. And sometimes appearances can be deceiving. Not this time. Not this time. You marked it right away visually. Ocular fat down.
Starting point is 00:59:56 Big burnt chocolate ball of meat. Not going to be good. That's what I want in my meatball is a lot of variability in how well it's cooked. I want the outside dry as hell. And I want the inside where I'm thinking, am I going to? I probably won't get sick. I cook the inside to a temperature. You know, I had a probe in there.
Starting point is 01:00:16 And this is a recipe. I didn't make this shit up. Like this is a recipe. It's like, it's called like, there is no way a recipe said, form your ground beef into a softball. It did. It's to make a big ball of meat. You put it over the pot of beans and onions and tomato sauce and it smokes it. And it renders the fat. The fat drips into the pot.
Starting point is 01:00:39 And then once the meat's cooked, you put it in the pot and mush it all together. Cook until the inside of the ball is tender. And the outside is cracked like a Utah salt flat. That's what I did. It was terrible. It was terrible. The outside part was. chewy and fibrous.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Oh, no. It felt like eating the husk of a coconut. Yeah, of all the like fun hobbies that Woody has picked up, I've always been surprised grilling didn't make it into the list. It's the, it's the most, it's the easiest way to cook and you get a lot
Starting point is 01:01:18 of credit for a tiny amount of work. You know, you know what really surprised me is that wings never got into it because like, like, I could see that. He could be an idiot savant at cooking. Like he could be one of those guys who like immediately just picks it up and he's a like I could see him being good at it. And obviously he loves his food. That was always weird to me that he was never into that.
Starting point is 01:01:39 Yeah. I wonder what he's doing now. Is he still off the internet? I'm pretty sure he's still off the internet. He has to be no way that wouldn't get to us immediately. He was doing DoorDash when he was on the internet. Zach wrote DoorDash. That's a good bet.
Starting point is 01:01:54 That's a good bet. I imagine he misses his YouTube income. he's doordashing harder. I don't know. It's been three months. Yeah, he or at least based on his YouTube channel. I don't know if he streamed somewhere than YouTube or not. I think he's banned on Twitch. Oh,
Starting point is 01:02:10 really? Okay. I think so, yeah. Well, then I don't know where, or maybe what are the other ones? Rumble and Kick and that might actually be the only one to know. Justin TV is where he's at now. I think you could stream on TikTok. He's their number one streamer.
Starting point is 01:02:25 Over on Justin. Over on Justin TV. Yeah, he's kicking it big style over there. Yeah. You guys ready, read? He's doing well. Yeah, I think it's time for dinner. All right.
Starting point is 01:02:38 P.K.N. 629.
