Starting point is 00:00:00 Do you want to see what the world is really like? Yes. Four things is deliciously funny and spectacularly entertaining. A woman planting her course to freedom. That is not fun. It's non-stop bonkers brilliance. I love that. Four things.
Starting point is 00:00:13 It's like theaters December 15th. Well, hello, Lista. Guess who it is. Oh! It's hard to guess because you've not done your signature greetings listener dear. I know. You're not maturing in your old age, are you? Greetings listener dear!
Starting point is 00:00:33 It was a labyrinth of ruse to trick you into your own ear canal. With me, Tom! And me, Matthew, and me, Ben. And now you, dear listener. I was just thinking about that though, Tom, because you said we're tricking the listener into their own ear canal and me, Ben. And now you, dear listener. I was just thinking about that, though, Tom, because you said we're tricking the list into their own here-conceal. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:48 So I've never realized that. They stepped in with us. But when we get into the list of here-conceal, they're all so well-sirney, more and more by the day. Aren't they just going to disappear into a tube of flesh? Always the fear. So do you listen to that, protect yourselves from that happening? Okay? Because we love you very much, but a tube of flesh can't leave an iTunes review. Well, thank you for listening.
Starting point is 00:01:12 This is a house meeting. We're Clarky. Hello. Saturane with producer Emma and thrashed out some business. Oh, yes. And you can ask the listener dear needs to know? Well, is it confusing to the listener now that we're going to be starting again with another intro once we get to the end of the... No, they can handle it. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:01:40 Yeah, baby. All right, they'll understand it. If you did enjoy this, please give us a review on iTunes. Five stars ought to do it. Oh, that'd be lovely. And we've got a patron. Yeah, so pop along to there. Please donate We can't do this without your help. Also go to shityeamoney.com And you can do one-off donations Yeah, or just go and visit the Piro box if you don't do any of that I mean just at the very least be honest guys, guys. Be honest. Be honest at the PO box. Otherwise, we're having a lovely time with it.
Starting point is 00:02:10 We hope you are too. Stay friends, and we'll see you on the other side. I've had a thought. I've got an issue. I've got a question I want to ask you. I want to talk. I want a chat. Okay, let's sit down and chew the fat Has meeting What temperature should we set the heat? Has meeting Why on earth am I always waiting? Has meeting Who went my bed while I was sleeping? This has a has meeting
Starting point is 00:02:41 What's the point? Does life have a meeting? Happy meeting Oh hoi hoi! They're dearest now. Oh hoi hoi! Here we go, here we go, here we go. We've got brand new microphones, I don't know if you can hear it.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Do you know what a hoi hoi means? Yeah, it's like it's Latin for There Goes An Theia Canal. It is indeed. Latin for There Goes An Air Canal And Jumping It Quick. Can I come inside? in for there goes an ear canal it is indeed. Lacking for there goes an ear canal and jumping it quick. Can I come inside? Well, too late we're already here. Too late guys we're inside your ear canals, we're in your week.
Starting point is 00:03:14 This is Papi's house meeting. Order! Oh, it's like house of commons. Is that how you view house meeting? I always thought of it as more like a house because that's, it's pappy's that share. I always see Clarky at the dispatch box. I think Clarky's got something of the birke out about him.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Do you want to stick him in the speaker's face? Stick him in the, yeah, stick him in the, he's got an issue. He's got an issue. Of course, big news is resigned. Paris, the disruptive backbencher. That's, I'm back. I'm back at the back eating mob bogies
Starting point is 00:03:52 Mr. Parry there. I'm very aware of you at the back You make yourself know Rasp well if you don't like it you can leave Well, if you don't like it, you can leave. Oh, duh. That's a good burkow by the way. That is good, yeah. It's a really good burkow. You're actually kind of burkowing yourself,
Starting point is 00:04:11 which is really good. It's good. The inner burkow. Oh, you should always be burkowing yourself. Always be burkowing yourself. Your conscience should be, you're inner burkow. Where's Crosby in the House of Commons? Do you know what, mate?
Starting point is 00:04:21 He's from underneath of the gunpowder. Blackrode. Oh, you're going for it hence the hair and ears hair and beard it was there all along I was hiding in plain sights in the seller not that wasn't going for to plan yeah that was my mistake I hid in plain sight that's the reason you got caught he was there right between the dispatch boxes he was there right between the dispatch boxes. He was there.
Starting point is 00:04:47 He sat on a barrel, saluting. He became Prime Minister. President Guy Forks. I said Prime Minister, sure. If you want to, do you know what, though? Why not? Why not? You know what?
Starting point is 00:05:00 Hello. It is crazy, crazy world we live in. It is crazy. It is crazy. If we can have a president as sort of ludicrous. Oh, here we can. As Bill Clinton. He's finally.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Finally, I'll take you down tricky dicky. If we can have a president and we can, and we can, as insane. Hainas. As insane. Mental. As Lyndon Johnson. That guy, where'd he come from? Where the fuck is this guy getting up?
Starting point is 00:05:34 Who voted for him? Who's voting for Lyndon? The old people did it. They really did. If we can have that, then we can definitely have Guy Forks in the White House. Finally. Guy Forks in the White House. Finally. Guy Forks in the White House. Good for the White House.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Sounds like a film I would watch. I like that film. That's a series we're all going to make. Do you think, because there's a new one out now that we're all going to make it, guys. Guys, we're all going to make it. We're all going to make it. You're quite sourcing it. Can I ask you this, though, before we get to the...
Starting point is 00:06:02 Yeah, please. Do you see those adverts on the buses? I think the new one's called Is it Angelus Fallon? Can I shock you this though before we get to the please do you see those adverts on the buses for the I think the new ones called is it angel as fallen can I shock you now yeah I'm I'm bus blind No I'm not I'm bus blind You're the
Starting point is 00:06:14 You've never seen a bus I don't see buses Wow It's surprising I've been knocked over more often Yes It's terrible I see the people on the bus Oh God
Starting point is 00:06:22 I just can't see the bus Just can't see the bus itself Just can't see the bus itself. So you just see a bunch of people hovering off the ground. And you think, whoa, oh, oh, Dully, I'll let you enjoy that party. Yeah. So when you get on a bus, oh yeah, stick with it.
Starting point is 00:06:37 I have a time of my life. Stick with it. When you get on the bus, bus, blind, what do you see underneath you? You just see the road going past underneath. The ground we live on. The ground we live on. That's by the way, a Netflix series which we're all gonna make.
Starting point is 00:06:51 We're all gonna make it guys and we're crowdsusly right now. You know when you see those movies, Angelus Fallon, Olympus' Fallon, and they also have Fallon. Whole? Hullus Fallon. London's Fallon, Always the bloody metropolis. To get out of the bloody metropolitan elite. Two questions I wanted to ask about.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Firstly is, do you see that go? I couldn't give less of a shit about watching that movie. Yeah, of course. Of course you do. Secondly, even when Olympus was fallen. Oh yeah. God, especially. What was Olympus's fallen? What was that about? Mount Olympus.
Starting point is 00:07:21 I didn't watch it. I think it was the White House, wasn't it? That one. Why don't they call it White House's fallen? Well, the code of Olympus. I didn't watch it. I think it was the White House, wasn't it? That one. Why don't they call it White House as fallen? Well, co-impressed. Because I think, is it Gerard Butler who's in those movies? Yes, I reckon. Wack Gerard Butler in Guy Forks in the White House, and we've got ourselves a movie that I wouldn't care about, but would make a lot of money. Is Gerard Butler Guy Forks? Or is he the guy stopping Guy Forks?
Starting point is 00:07:43 He's the guy who realizes that Guy Forks is because I'm just saying. He's in the White House. Yeah, yeah. He's him going. He sees that the guy is stockpiling. Who is going to play Guy Forks? That's a really good... No, that's not going to get us to Netflix.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Thank you so much, Clarky. And that's a really kind thing if you'd say. But I don't have the acting chops or the celebrity status. Okay, I've got I have now that you say that it's absolutely true. You can you can see my stats on social media. I'm not up with Jez Butler. Jez I reckon he's got I reckon he's over a million followers on Instagram. He's got he's up there with the 1.2s. I reckon Jess Butler, he's over a million followers on Twitter. Well I reckon, I reckon Facebook friends, he's got, he's got, you know, you get to full whack on this,
Starting point is 00:08:34 you can't have any more Facebook friends. He's clocked Facebook friends. He's completed it. Oh, he's tight as an issue. He's into the end of Facebook, he's completed Facebook. What's Gerald Butler's Instagram gonna be about though? Lot's shirt the shots I imagine he's good looking man. He's beard. Lot of beardy shots. He's got beard. He's got, he's got, he's always got beardy. He's usually bearded, he's out often bearded, he's a child butler.
Starting point is 00:08:54 He's like all of them. Oh old beardy butler. Oh baby. Of course he's got a straight to the phone. The baby guy has a butler often. I don't think of Butler as a bearded man. I know that's how he paved his way in 300. 300 he had a beard. But I think that that that was his big beard days. His BBD. Have you not really bought a bug for it? The big beard days chapter. GB's BBD. GD's BBD. That's not the same letters but yeah. Can I have a lift? I live in the need. I've got a great idea for the casting of Guy Falks. Look at him there with his beard.
Starting point is 00:09:32 It's a big beard. It's a big beard day for Gerard. Okay, let's go through. Is that him with co-stars? This is an audio guide to Gerard Butler's Instagram account. Firstly, give us his name on Instagram. It's just Gerald Butler. No spaces.
Starting point is 00:09:50 The Gerald Butler, no spaces, no. It's up and down. There you go. Now, if you'd like to, we'll give you a second. You just said to swipe right on me. I don't have Instagram. I don't have. Here we are with Morgan.
Starting point is 00:10:00 You do have Instagram. You do have Instagram, Perry. That's why I tag you in my Instagram posts. Oh, he's not for me as well. Yeah, of course I do. It's just lots of pictures of Gerard Butler. What were you expecting? God of it, he's hanging out with Morgan Freeman.
Starting point is 00:10:13 I tell you, I don't know who this can't, it's me. He's a big fan of Butler. I'll say that much, so I accidentally like to trailer fragilers for him. He's lots of pictures. He's just lots of pictures of Gerard Butler. I'm not as expected to be honest. All right. OK.
Starting point is 00:10:30 I'm going to play a game. OK. I'm going to break up so many tips of the game. OK. This is how we play. I'm going to break up so many tips of the game. Final bit. I'm going to say what the first photo is of.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Yes. And you're going to say whether or not the next photo. Is the person in the selfie or a photo of someone else on their Instagram, okay? Does that make sense? So, for example, if I say, I'm gonna bring up a... This is how we play.
Starting point is 00:10:53 This is how we play, okay? So if I say the first photo of Gerard Butler, we need to say, you're looking at Gerard Butler's Instagram or you're looking at somebody else's Instagram. Here we go, guys. You ready for it? Oh my God. Let's give it a go. Okay, here's Instagram. Here we go guys, you ready for it? Oh my God. Let's give it a go.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Okay, here we go. Here we go. Here we go. Right, you all be playing this in the pub. Here we go, mate. Slit, rom. Here we go guys. Doesn't.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Yep. No, doesn't have one. Doesn't have one. Okay, fair enough. Next guy. Next guy, here we go. Stay with me guys. Stay with me.
Starting point is 00:11:23 There's doubt in the room. There's doubt in the room. There's doubt in the room. There's dogs in the room. There's down in the room. We go guys. This is going off the lumbar pretty big now. All right. We should pitch this to Netflix. Okay. This is a post from five days ago. Oh no. Okay. this is a pose from five days ago. Oh no. Okay, this is five days ago.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Pose from five days ago. Five days from the day of record, we should say, do you listen? Five days from the day of record, which is, of course, the day we're recording. Now, we've got a picture here of Eric Banner. We've got a picture of Brad Pitt. We've got a picture here of Eric Banner We've got a picture of Brad Pitt We've got a picture of Orlando Bloom Right, we have to decide who's and it says I always say and the caption is
Starting point is 00:12:14 Troy 2004 It's a reunion hashtag Brad Pitt hashtag Eric Banner hashtag Orlando Bloom, but whose Instagram is this? It's Eric Banner, hashtag Orlando Bloom, but whose Instagram is this? It's Eric Banner's. My reasoning is, in your head you've gone, who's like Gerard Butler, Eric Banner. They are very similar aren't they? I was going to say Eric Banner, but for different reason. Go on, I thought he's a humble man. I thought he's a humble man. A humble man. A humble man.
Starting point is 00:12:47 I thought he's a humble man. How do you know about a banner being a humble man? Oh, he's a banner in it. No, no, I'm not accepting it's banner in it. Eric, banner a humble man. I just, that's, that's how he strikes me. He strikes me as a, he strikes me as a good egg. Well, a good egg is different.
Starting point is 00:13:01 It can be a good egg and not be a humble man. Oh, I don't know about that. Right. I would say, I would say, but and here's the reason he has tagged his name, own name last. Ah, very nice. Not in the order they're standing, but he's a humble man. He's a humble man.
Starting point is 00:13:20 But Anna are a humble man and a good egg. Okay. Is he Australian? Yeah. I believe so. Okay. Famously Australian. Haven't met many humble Australians.
Starting point is 00:13:31 He. It's a good point. It's a good point. It makes it very strong point there. And you know what? Very humble about that point. Thank you. I don't want to take any credit for it.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Well, you shouldn't. I text it to you. You read it out. Okay, okay. So, so we're saying, you're saying it's Eric Banner, Clarke, for reasons of humbleness. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Humility, I should say. Perry, you're saying it's Eric Banner? Because I think... For reasons of... For Abdullah and Banner. The mental process of Migo, from Butler to Banner, it's a lateral step. I don't think you'd have gone to pit or down to bloom.
Starting point is 00:14:07 You know, like from butler out. Yow-che. Oh, come on, you can't disagree with that. He's, you go up to pit and down to bloom. I'm not saying I disagree with it, but I'm pretty sure at some point in the future, I'm gonna be rubbing shoulders with him. And if he listens to this podcast,
Starting point is 00:14:22 as I'm certain he does. I hadn't thought of that. Clarkie, Clarkie's working at the moment. Clarkie's working at the moment in Hollywood. I mean, he's not in Hollywood. He's in Sydney. I mean, he's in Hollywood. We're not recording this in Hollywood. We're recording it in Great Foreign Strait. You want me rubbing shoulders with... Aloum. No, I said that as a joke. But, you can't start working on humble buzz.
Starting point is 00:14:46 You can't start working on a humble statement. You can't start working in Hollywood and then start making jokes about maybe one day on me Orlando Bloom. Because you might meet Orlando Bloom now. Well, what a world. Bloom Bloom, I don't see how, but Bloom at the bottom. Banner and Butler in the middle. Solidly in the middle.
Starting point is 00:15:05 Is Butler there? Is Butler there? Bradley Cooper is breaking for promotion. Oh I see, you took back in that. I've been to Pitt. In the hierarchy of... Yeah. Cooper's got aspirations. Yeah, Cooper's on his way, definite. Butler and Banner, they know where they stand.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Yeah. Bloom forget about it. Yeah? 2004 he was riding high, but... But Luribana, they know where they stand. Bloom forget about it. Yeah? 2004 he was riding high, but... Bloom had a, he had an invite to the party. He had a Bloom. He got lost along the way. Right, now...
Starting point is 00:15:35 He did that video of him doing the bit of a Shakespeare speech. Did he? Did he not say that? What did he do? Oh, it's an absolute shocker. I did see him paddle boarding with his cock out. Oh, yeah!
Starting point is 00:15:49 You're on a humble brigh. Yeah. What a humble man. It wasn't shoulders, that was rubbish. Are you working the other way? I'm actually running a paddle boarding company at St. Bart's. And I said, you know what, you can have this paddle ball free on one condition I get those shorts.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Beautiful. And he said happy to do it. What did he want to trade off? He walked the old Cyril sneer out. And was he using a sneer? He was using a sort of sneer to sneer. No he wasn't using it to sneer. He was.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Can you sneer with your penis? Good. I think a penis you steer with your penis? I think a penis could look at your scunts, certainly. And if anyone's penis will, it's already told Anna Blume. I think, yeah. The look that Orlando Blume's penis gave you. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Show some respect, mate. I didn't know where to look. It was fixating me. That one eye, staring you down. Staring me right down like the iron War on staring you out of the rings which all under bloom was in there. Okay. Okay. Here we go We play okay, and it's sour now guys. I don't know I don't know how to
Starting point is 00:16:57 How to phrase this correctly come on, but I've shit the bed on Come on, but I've shit the bed on the bed. LAUGHTER I don't know if you know. We. I don't know if you've ever been in, and it's happened to me a few times, where you're in a meeting, and you're pitching an idea to somebody. OK. And halfway through you're pitching the idea, you go, this doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Oh, yeah. And you're hoping their first question isn't gonna be what about this thing that means it clearly doesn't work. You're hoping they ignore that and just love the, the enthusiasm, the literature. You're pushing the thing. We had a bit of fun there,
Starting point is 00:17:37 but we all knew we were on dodgy grind. We could go, it was a slow start, we picked up pace, we're slowing back down again. Yeah, I mean, can I can I say now? Right, so the what I should have gone for here was the the verified blue tick That's what you're looking for really Hang on hang on Clarky. Let me finish please That should have been the first sign, okay? Okay, the second sign please play the
Starting point is 00:18:04 Should have been the first sign, okay? Okay, the second sign. Please play the ship. Should have been that the word official is spelled O-F-F-C-I-A-L off-kill. Official spelled incorrectly. So I am now, you know, and despite the 709 thousand followers, I am now, I'm going to say 99% certain, this is not Brad Pitt's official. No! Oh! I'm so sorry, I've absolutely read this game.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Well, well. It's Brad Pitt fan page, and also as well, Brad Pitt in September 2019 is not posting a picture from Troy. He's not waking up in the morning. Oh, it wasn't a reunion. Nah, it's just a picture of Troy. Oh, no, that's not. Oh boy, that's like me, bro, Pip.
Starting point is 00:18:55 No, no. I am so, guys, I can only apologize. But you know what, look, you know what? I think this is basically, this has led to what I've been wanting to say for a long time, I resigned. What is that? Is that an off-cool announcement or? It's an off-cool announcement.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Off-cooled design, now guys, and it's been great working with you. We've had a really, really good run event. Enjoy the paddle boarding, okay? Thank you so much. All that company stuff. I'll leave my pants here if that's all right. I'm sure of that. I'm not yours.
Starting point is 00:19:31 And I'm going to paddle board my way out of a window. I'm so sorry guys. Listen, you're forgiven. Thanks. I've got some killer casting news for you by the way. Oh my god. Oh my god, you're a freaking mind. Yeah, okay. You got Guy forks guy forks Hear me out. Yeah, Phoebe Walla bridge
Starting point is 00:19:54 Love it. Wow. Love it. Hello headlines. You've got to get Phoebe Wobblebubble on it. Phoebe Wob it fee wobble bubble into house the White House Yes, the bubble bubble in the White House. Yes, this is giving some right looks down the barrel of the camera Yeah, that's not the only barrel she's got she's got two barrels of gunpowder under her and also Orlando Bloom his Bloom A paddleboard no like a sidekick. Well there was a team of them together, right? Yeah, and he noticed the ones in there.
Starting point is 00:20:30 There was Guy Knives. Oh yeah, okay, there you go. Guy Spoons. He's Guy Spoons. Guy Spatula. Okay. Guy Spork. Okay, so Guy Sporks is surely better than Guy Fawkes.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Guy of Gisborne. Guy of Gisborne, is there? Okay, so Guy Spoons. Guy Sporx is surely better than Guy Sport. Guy of Gisborne. Guy of Gisborne, is that? Okay, so he's going to Guy Spoon's, or Orlando Bloom. Guy Spoon's, Orlando Bloom. Can't you write this down? Okay, so Guy Richie's directing it. Guy Richie's directing it.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Sorry, bad news. Guy Richie's directing it. So Phoebe Wobble, or Orritchie? Or Orritchie, the White House. She's Guy Forks. Imagine that. Revolutionary. They're going to love it. Phoebe Wobble, Wob the White House. She's Guy Forks. Imagine that. Revolutionary. They can love it.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Phoebe Wobble Wobble. But who's playing the president? Oh no, but that's gonna save the day. So who's the bodyguard? We need some bold presidential cast. So I thought Guy Forks, I suppose. No, Guy Forks is aiming to be president. Yeah, Guy Forks in the White House.
Starting point is 00:21:19 Right. So he's either getting in there, he's getting in there through Fairmeans or Fowl. Well, if we know Forks. If I know forks, I will know forks. We know forks He was the first person to say that is a Bonnie fire and sure he wrote that and the phrase slowly was a scot is truncated to bonfire exactly And also bobbing for apples. He also invented bobbing for apples. We know these things about Guy forks This is a great guy who was made out of straw. He was made out of straw. Yeah, he loved pennies loved a penny who doesn't and Also, I don't know how to write pennies these days. Do you really?
Starting point is 00:22:05 Yeah. Is that what your genes look so ill-fitting? It's like broken. That's why. You want like, job weight. Pennie, for your thoughts? We've got to cast the president. Okay, we've got to cast the president.
Starting point is 00:22:18 I thought that's the thought. Okay, so we cast the president. What a original Orlando Bloom, and I think there's also room for a couple more sites. I think you're right, we need the full team. Well, let's whack in, Boshemi and H. Macy. Oh, nice. Okay, yeah, nice.
Starting point is 00:22:31 Do you think that they're good too? I think you bought an early naughty's, going brother's films. Yeah, he's very, very good. You made it quite classy. Do you think so? I think we're going from the time of I youth of watching films.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Who? Who? Presently at HMACY these days, you're looking at... They're going to be a small part in a TV series. Okay, okay, fair enough. Let's put the pants on. Let's put the pants on. Cranson, again, maybe I've gone two old. Maybe let's go eat, let's think. Who are the hip, young Efron, I'm out.
Starting point is 00:23:00 Will Smith. Will Smith? Oh, the hip-yunk. Will Smith can do a rap at the end of it. You're drunk. Guy forks in the White House. Hold your fire. Look over there. There's a car with a tire. Guy forks, Guy forks. What? You're going to guy forks.
Starting point is 00:23:17 What? You're going to guy forks. What? You're going to guy forks. What? You're going to guy forks. What? You're going to do when it comes for you. White house, White house. What you're going to do? What you're going to do when it comes for you white house white house what you're gonna do what you're gonna do when it turns blue I've got a sparkler and it's on fire don't pick it up when you put it on the ground one glove one glove Hold it up hold it up hold it up one glove One heart
Starting point is 00:23:41 To get the hand feel all right so we've got the sketch together and feel all right. So we've got the theme tune. Yeah, we've got the theme tune. We'll also make some. Thankfully, because every good action film has a cracking that you've... We'll just do this the president. Oh, I mind it.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Yes. Think about it. So we've got Smith as the president. We've got Walla Bridge as Guy Forks. We have got... What? What is the bodyguard? What is theguard, Clarkie is Birkow. LAUGHTER
Starting point is 00:24:08 Oh, no! Oh, no! Oh, no! Um, Smith's on the... Yes, Smith's present also in the theme tune. Butler as the Bodyguard. Walla Bridge and Orlando Bloom. We need a couple more...
Starting point is 00:24:19 A couple more Spice-Citamales. Yeah, okay. Some bold casting. What about... What about we go down the route of like, someone like Selena Gomez? Oh, you know, former child star has, you know, had her ups and downs in the press.
Starting point is 00:24:40 This is her shot at legitimate acting. Dexter Fletcher. Fletcher. Former child star. Hand his ups and downs in Fletcher. Or Machoel star. Handies ups and downs in the press. Now this is his chance. Dexter Fletcher's back. Yeah, we get...
Starting point is 00:24:51 Hold on, I thought it'd be direct. Dexter Fletcher's not direct. Sadly Guy Richie's directing. You've got Guy Richie already and Dexter and Guy, they've worked together in the past and they understand each other's turf and they stay off. Guy is happy to cast Dexter as an actor as he did in Good Luck and Two,
Starting point is 00:25:07 smoking barrels. So far, they're all brits. Guy Fawkes gang are all brits. Guy Fawkes are all brits, right? Let's think of our other. Who are other top British talent? Who else is out there? Michael Cain.
Starting point is 00:25:17 Michael Cain. He's Guy Fawkes's butler. He's got Alfred the butler. Hold on. Gerrads. Gerrads. Gerrads the butler. He's got Alfred the Batler. Hold on, Gerard's. Gerard's the Batler. He's Gerard Butler's butler. Yes. He's the butler's butler.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Oh, now that's another film. I'll have to watch that. Okay, we get all the Alfreds from the Batman films. Oh, now that's a reality TV show. No. Hang on, the butler's butler. Tocé by Gerard Butler. We get all the actors who've played Alfred
Starting point is 00:25:46 in the Batman movies into a house, and they have to serve Michael Keaton dinner. Michael Keaton, what's Gerard Butler doing? He's just presenting. He's hosting, yeah. You know, I was slagging off a Limpus's Fallen. Yes. We need to get ourselves to the pictures.
Starting point is 00:26:02 We need to do the triple. We need to actually start watching films, because every time we go to a film reference We've got we've had Kane. We've had William H. Macy. Now you're saying Michael Keaton is Batman. What year was that? 989. We years off the pace. We years off the pace. He's since made a wonderful movie called Birdman. I've got a good question for you. Yeah, Birdman. Do you think as a game? You could get from 1990. Yeah, to now now I've done it mate I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I was a but I think I was going to go more recently, 97. I think I've had some pretty good years in the last decade, definitely.
Starting point is 00:26:53 97 in 2012, that was my favourite. 97, 2012 was good. 3rd to 2. I mean this year's been pretty good. Oh nice. I can't complain about this year. We're only a little over half way through it, but it's been pretty good. Yeah. I can't complain about this here. We're only a little over halfway through it, but it's been pretty good.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Yeah. I'd go with that as well. Yeah. I think this has been my favorite year. Oh, it's Don't Peat Your Oatall. Great film. It's the art and cinema, I don't know. It's Petro Tolo, though.
Starting point is 00:27:22 We're bringing in all the big hitters. How's Beating? It's app between if you fancy tweeting. How's Beating? Do you want to see what the world is really like? Yes. Four things is deliciously funny and spectacularly entertaining. A woman planting her course to freedom. And in love for it.
Starting point is 00:27:42 It's non-stop bonkers brilliance. I love that. Poor things. It's like theaters December 15th. A cast powers the world's best podcasts. Here's a show that we recommend. Hi, I'm David Boris, Canadian historian and host of curious Canadian history. A bi-weekly deep dive into the wild, worrisome, and wonderful world of Canadian history.
Starting point is 00:28:08 This season we've covered not season Alberta, the Palestinian partition, and even the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. We also have eight seasons worth of back episodes all right there for your listening pleasure. Check out new episodes of Curious Canadian History every other Tuesday wherever you get your podcast. Hey cast helps creators launch grow and monetize their podcast everywhere. Acast.com Just before we get back to casting the rest of the guy for the gang, were you? Because you half way, you sort of almost set a sentence then you say,
Starting point is 00:28:48 oh, what was that thought? Were you going to say, do you have a dish for coins? It's kind of like, where do you keep your coins in your house? In a swear jar. Have you got a swear jar? Yeah, but it's a swear jar from a show I did. It's not, and I actually put it, put a coin every time I swear. But yeah, keep an adjanex, the next to the bed. And do you, can't, I'm not basically, it could be the day, like, you can't be coins. Do you count your coins?
Starting point is 00:29:13 I love cashmokers. I have them in piles of what the coins are, and I find it very therapeutic to do that. You have seen you do that, yeah. It's insane that we're still using coins. One's on twos, here we go with the ones on thes. Here we go with the 1s and the 2s. So one extra cash answer. Yeah, a clocky, here we go.
Starting point is 00:29:30 You're making a pitch for thief, the theme tune for Guy Forks in the White House. Birk has going to do a rap at the end of... Will Smith's not going to like it. Oh, he's got, well, the end credits will be... No, end credits would be Will Smith. Will Smith's getting the end credits. He's got, end credits would be Will Smith. Will Smith's getting the end credits. He's got the opening film. The meaning black is, they don't do it at the start of the movie, they're shut. Yeah, Will Smith's got to come out and rap a song and
Starting point is 00:29:54 then do a film. I thought it was going to be more like the French Prince of El-Air. Do the opening one. Yeah, but famously films don't do a feature at the start, do they? No, no, show. But they should. Do you think TV shows would be improved if the host had to come out and sing a song right at the start? It depends on the show. I think question time it'd be a bit weird. I love that. I would. Question time. This is question time. Do you listen to what's write a song about question time. We should perform on stage once. Never performed it again. Never.
Starting point is 00:30:30 And yeah, it's a real earworm. I will sing question time on a regular basis. Have you got songs in terms of like, like we were at this conversation the other day off mic. When you die, you know like you say your life flashes before your eyes. Yeah. When I die there's definitely like you say your life flashes before your eyes. Yeah. When I die there's definitely like four or five songs songs that these have been the songs of your life.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Yeah. You go like they're the songs. You're almost like you're most played in your brain. Well I think we might have even talked about this before on the podcast because you're one of yours is sort watered by Julian Lennon. Thank you What else do you what the first song to my picture? Yeah, of course I saw the directors cap before they fire the director and Dexter Fletcher took over and smoothings out
Starting point is 00:31:22 I I work a lot with Tom Crane, right with him. I'm not a friend of the show. Friend of the show, Tom Crane, although he's never said yes whenever I've asked him to come on the show, but a friend of the show, never the less. Friend of the show, not a fan of the show. Friend of the show, not a fan of the show.
Starting point is 00:31:38 In fact, I'm gonna say not a friend of the show. And he's a friend of ours. Yeah. No doubt in that. What he was. His two, his two, cause I worked with him a lot and he went even when of ours. Yeah. No doubt in that. What he was. His two, his two, because I worked with him a lot and he won't even realize he's doing this. His two songs are Eleanor Rigby.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do and Gary Jules mad world. Oh. Oh. Two quite melancholic songs. Quite a down beat, quite a down beat trap. It's our top creative. and Gary Jules Mad World. Oh! Two quite melancholic songs. Quite a downbeat chap. Is our top creative? He has a bit.
Starting point is 00:32:10 What do you think? I don't think I have them. No, I just haven't, like, weak by weak. I don't think I've always got a... I think you have mine, don't you? You could shift the spend time with me. Yeah, I think it's a parry work more than it is a general work. I think, and certainly not years on years on years, but...
Starting point is 00:32:30 I don't know that song. Do you know that song? Oh, years on years and years and years and years. I've been here a guy fucking though I have something I've seen doing there. He is causing... Yes, he is causing a look if I'm supposed to... He's going to have to have the midpoint. To the midpoint song, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:47 The midpoint song. The midpoint song. Well, will our president get out of this one? Guy Forks is certainly seems to have him rattled. Find out after the mid-film song. That's a great, I don't like James Mazzard, you know? How they would like, like, the general Lee would like leap into the air and pause.
Starting point is 00:33:03 And they'd be like, oh my God, how are they gonna get out of this one? Not a bad idea to have a mid-film song. Just when you get into the 120 mark and you get into a bit of the art, the 120 lull. I'd like that in life. No, you wouldn't want that because then when you see the guys dancing the song, you'd be like, oh, half way there. Half way to death.
Starting point is 00:33:24 No, not like into, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I was concentrating so hard yesterday, I'm not pooing myself, I missed a train. I was in a real bad mood.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Can I ask you Tom, I'd had a meeting. I'd had a meeting. Because a pivotal moment at the end of a meeting, if you need the toilet, you should say, nice to meet young to go to the toilet. Oh yeah I mean you can praise it's like you're way out you just go all could tell me where the toilet is. You're in a meeting you're needing the toilet and you kind of think well I'll try and go at the end before I leave this building where I can go to the toilet. Yeah and it was kind of like it was distractingly close because it was ruining like I wasn't really concentrating on it in the meeting. It was bad stuff.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Yeah. And, um, how you eating something bad or are you just... No, I hadn't had my morning poo. Okay, finally it was a meeting in a coffee place and I got a strong black coffee. You got it. The juice was loose. Yeah. About the juice.
Starting point is 00:34:40 I mean, the God. With juice. You know, you know, when Lizzo sings that song, that's not what she means. Oh, oh. The meeting finishes. By the way, I don't know why you downed a coffee party. We told this story. Guys, can we tell the story walking?
Starting point is 00:35:00 Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Tom Parris stuck in in a park, yes, record, and he's all ready to start in a church club. Nick, coffee ain't going to help. He's all I'm making, me, to me, to me, to me. I'll send the jigsaw as I throw off. Oh, wow. The meeting finishes and the guy who was really leaving the meeting's head. Well, I'll say goodbye now because I'm going to go to the toilet.
Starting point is 00:35:24 Oh, no, you're like, oh, oh, oh, oh. oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh leave the meeting. I simply, to be honest, like, when the meetings got, you got to go. I do the same thing. So I was like, I'm going to go. And where will you? What train station? There's three steps, I was three stops away from my hatch. So you said, OK. So you thought I'll try and see if I can get, make it home.
Starting point is 00:35:59 I got to the train station and I was like, oh, wow. This is big. And then I was like whoa whoa whoa the train came in and the train pulled on and I was still on the platform going like oh you want the florist of the cursed the man on platform server who keeps saying whoa whoa, whoa, please, this is, whoa, whoa, those bins are clear for a reason. Yeah. Got back to my flat. My lift is currently out of order. Oh, I've been on the fifth floor.
Starting point is 00:36:33 And every step. So, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so you know, sometimes you want, you know, something to come along and be like, make it epic. Yeah. There were barrels of gunpowder in your guts. There we go, wait, wait until explode. Waiting to explode. My lift's been out for three months, and everybody's getting very antsy about it, and everyone in this thing's been like,
Starting point is 00:36:58 can you hurry up with this new lift? To you. But my ass, you're built to this lift. I mean, volunteering to build a lift is your first problem. My attitude to it is, take your time, get it right. Like, I don't want it to be a rush job. You're not going to a lift and be like, well, they bang this together in two weeks.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Well, this was a quick lift. Oh, great. I don't reckon it takes longer than a day and a half to fix a lift. If it took two weeks, I'd be taking you out. No, they're replacing the entire lift. The whole shafts come out and new shafts going in. The whole shaft came out when I sold Orlando Blaine the Paddle Boys. That was on the right.
Starting point is 00:37:42 Yeah. I know what you mean, though. So I put my head in. They were working in there, and I was like, can I have a look? And I'm like, right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know what you mean though. So I popped my head in. They were working in there and I was like, can I have a look? And I was like, in you come. So I went into the lift shaft with them. And I was like, whoa.
Starting point is 00:37:51 But like, you don't want it. I was like, take your time guys. I don't want this rush. It's cool. I've never been in a lift shaft. I know. Lift shafts, when you're a kid, you kind of think, one day I'll end up in a lift.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Yeah, one day I'm going to climb out the top of a lift. In top of a lift. Yeah, when it happens in almost every... Every time we're in the ring. Like at the start of speed. We're getting into act three all over. Back in the 90s. The thing I thought I would have when I was a kid,
Starting point is 00:38:16 I thought I'd grow up and live in a place that you had to pull the sort of shutter across. That sort of... That was the dream. That's the dream. You know, I think maybe because they had it in Wainsworlds when he moves to a race. And in big I think. It's the sign of success. It's the sign of having an out life. Yeah, you've got like a cool loft apartment.
Starting point is 00:38:35 Despite the fact that I didn't know anyone who lived in a loft apartment, I still don't know anyone who lives in a loft apartment. No, and also you wouldn't want that, I don't think. The only thing, I think the only good thing would be is if you had a lift that opened out into your flat, the only you had the code to. Yes. That they do in some very swanky New York apartment. It feels like now though,
Starting point is 00:38:53 the thing you got with those shitter things was like, when there's problems, it'd be like that, the partner kind of goes, well, I guess that you've made your mane. You're right. You guess you made your mane? Yeah. I guess you made your mane.
Starting point is 00:39:07 That's what they say on MasterChef. No, they say that. Oh, dude. I can't do that. You know what I said. Well, I guess you made your mane, yeah. Okay. And now, what is John Taro doing?
Starting point is 00:39:18 We can do that. We can do that. I'm through the great of a live. Well, I guess you've made your mean. You may as well lie in it. Pshh. That's the same to someone sitting in a page of my feet. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:39:33 Pshh. Baja made this. Oh man. I've been trying to be healthy lately. I'd be like, well, I'll cook dinner. I'm more cook enough to have leftovers for the next. Oh, yeah, you eat trying to be healthy lately. I'd be like, well, I'll cook dinner. I'm more cook enough to have leftovers for the next one. Oh, yeah, you eat the last time, yeah. No, but what I did last night was make so much mash potatoes
Starting point is 00:39:51 than my healthy lunch on leftovers today. It's just a powerful mash potato. And suddenly I don't feel so healthy. I've got to say, be healthy. Being healthy isn't just making more of a soup. What are you going to want to eat? To eat food. I've got to be healthy. But being healthy, is it just making more of a soup? What are you going to want to eat? I've got the same thing, so I've got a real thing about not wanting to throw away food. I don't like hate throw away food.
Starting point is 00:40:12 I think it's really, really bad form. So the other day, I'll make Charlie like a nice lunch, so like a salad or something, and then I will have whatever combination of leftovers, I'll just put them all on a plate and heat them up. And the other day, I don't want to heat up a salad mate. No, no, no, no. She's getting a fresh, I was saying that I'm having dinner. I'm making dinner reheated. She's getting a nice fresh lunch. So what I had the other day was half of one of those Spanish tortillas,
Starting point is 00:40:38 it's basically like a big thick omelette with potato. That's one half of the plate. The other half of the plate, stir fry. I was going to say the other like genuinely I think one of my favorite meals is leftovers. I mean, he has some leftovers. Here's the thing though, if they serve that to you in a restaurant you would say this is gross and disgusting and I won't eat those two flavors together. But I ate it you know the egg and the stir fry and the soy sauce and the potato. I hate it all and I really enjoyed it and I think like I mean you couldn't say I'm going to do like Spanish fusion you know in a restaurant could you you can say we have Spanish fusion restaurant here's a load of chalmein and some chorizo on the side. But why does it taste good at home?
Starting point is 00:41:25 You've made your main Matthew. Pfft. Shhh. Now I'm gonna lie in it. Pfft. President, get out of that plate. Guy Fox has taken the White House. That British bitch.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Oh, that was a story all about how a terrorist got into the West House. Who's gonna talk about his per cow? Order! Order! I would like to order your Spanish main and half a stir fry please. Welcome to our themed restaurant guys. Now, you'll get... The theme might make you nosebleed, but hear me out. It's themed around a movie that we're trying to get funding for.
Starting point is 00:42:07 It's called Guy Forks in the White House. We've got Will Smith, the president. We've got Gerard Butler trying to uncover the whole thing. We've got Phoebe's wobble-bobble as Guy Forks herself. Oh, and on the specials board, the special of the day. Orlando Bloom sausage. Just a half. Just a half for me, thank you. How do they make bread with no wheat? How many wheat?
Starting point is 00:42:33 Wow, what an app. What? No, in fact describe that in one hyphenated words, I'd say freewheeling. Yes. And it felt so good. It felt so good. It really... The shackles are off.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Yeah. What was the real journey? What shackles have you been... What shackles have you had on recently? Oh, have you not seen... Let's have a look. I've had some nut shackles. What?
Starting point is 00:42:57 What? Why did you undo your belt there? LAUGHTER You're not going to... Unless you want to... Why call my nut shackle? Old, debelt. Is that the song by B-52?
Starting point is 00:43:09 Hell if you see young baby time, and Malassana in the road, it says 50 miles to the nut shackle. Well listen listen dear, thank you for allowing us to strip off our nut shackle. And bang bang bang the model. Hot and roof. But please, I wish it was a rusted. You share a warner, your tin roof was rusted.
Starting point is 00:43:36 Nothing worse than a rusty nut shackle. Oh, a real shame. What's with the unexplorer? A real chafe. Oh, rusty nut shackle. The tails of Rusty Nut shackle. We'll cover another time. The tails of Rusty Nut shackle. Man Jack.
Starting point is 00:43:55 When he is assistant. His trusted assistant, man Jack. You know what? You know when they do a feature film, it's always have a B feature. Yes, absolutely. I think if you go and see Guy Box in the White House, the tales of these...
Starting point is 00:44:09 Please, the tales of these... ...the 52 feature tales of Rusty Night Shackle. Oh my goodness. Please do, because we're very proud of that work. They're companion pieces. They're companion pieces. Oh god. Yeah, yeah. So anyway, thank you so much for listening to this episode. As we said at the top,
