Hey guys, Robert here, writer of Paralyzed, to tell you that our star and editor of Paralyzed
Jonathan has had to drop out due to new business opportunities, and I wish him the best on his
future endeavors, but because he's dropped out, I had to recast Paralyze. I had to recast David,
and I recasted him with myself. This way I could get episodes out faster.
Hopefully it's a smooth transition and doesn't take you guys out of the story.
but there is still a lot of story to tell with David and with Paralyzed in general.
So I'm going to try my best.
Hope you guys enjoy the next episode of Paralyzed, and thanks for listening.

Hell breaks loose
Part 1
It was now
It was now 11 o'clock
We sat in the dim lighting of the cabin and drink from liquor bottles
I was buzzed but it wasn't a fun buzz
It was a headache-induced, somber experience.
Oh, I don't feel bad.
Jen got up and stumbled to the bathroom.
Come on, we still have plenty of alcohol left.
The room was beginning to spin slowly.
I decided to get up and eat something.
I'm already drunk.
No, you too, David?
I walked past Katie, who laid out on the floor, closed her eyes.
Come on, you puzzle.
Match me.
Let's play a drinking game.
Maybe we could get alcohol poisoning.
I think that'll piss off that gallum out there if we kill ourselves.
I ignored Seth as I searched the fridge for food.
I grabbed some lunchmead and...
closed the fridge.
I stumbled back and fell to the floor.
Shit.
The room spun faster and faster.
I opened the plastic lid and pulled out a piece of turkey.
I stared at it.
Hearing Jen vomit and staring at a wet, slimy piece of meat,
made my stomach churn.
Oh, shit.
I jumped up and ran to the kitchen sink.
Or fuck it.
Let's keep drinking, and then we can go out there.
Let's take this thing on.
Four versus one.
I mean, I think we can win.
I think we can win.
I wiped my lips and turned on the faucet.
I rinsed my mouth out.
Uh, what are we doing?
Drinking our problems away?
I don't think they're going to go away.
I'm not going to die here
I need water
Jen pushed past me and turned on the sink
She grabbed the glass
Filled it and gulped it down
I think I may have to throw up again
Hey guys you hear that
Oh my God, he's so annoying
Maybe we could try
Making a run for it again
We just have to be faster than the slowest person
The slowest person is going to be Seth
That's my point
Aw, that's so mean
Guys, I hear
Guys, I hear a baby
A baby? What the hell is he talking about?
He's gone.
Good.
That's all we need.
A drunk idiot on our hands.
Maybe he will pass out soon.
Guys, there is a baby outside.
Guys, there's a baby outside.
Seth, stop shouting for fuck's sake.
The room is starting to spin faster.
You should sit.
Here, the bar stool.
Jen led me to the bar stool
And I took a seat
She got me a glass of water
And made me drink it
Guys there's a fucking
Baby outside
Come look I'm not messing around
We're a mess.
Maybe Seth has a point.
Maybe we should take on the creature.
Calm down, Iron Man.
You can barely walk.
Same goes for Seth.
Guys, come here.
Guys, come here!
Oh my God.
Where are you going?
I'm going to go punch Seth right in the face.
I stumbled my way.
way to the living room where Katie was passed out and Seth was on his hands and knees near
the door. He had moved the chairs that blocked the door. It's right outside. It's right
outside. Seth, why did you move the chairs? I couldn't see. I couldn't see. Don't open the
door. Relax. I'm not, I'm not fucking stupid. Seth, got on
on his belly and put his face on the floor he looked underneath the door threw the one-inch crack
you're acting stupid you don't hear that no why don't you just listen listen you
What the hell?
I told you, outside, there's a baby.
You see it?
Not yet.
A chill ran down my spine.
Baby, where are you, little baby?
Seth, get away from the door.
Baby, where are you, little baby?
Seth, hold on.
What is he?
Seth.
Seth, get away from the door.
Two scrawny arms burst to the bottom of the door.
One of the creature's hands latched on Seth's side, the other, onto his face.
The long claws dug into his skin and the creature's broken into the door.
Help!
Help!
Oh!
Shit!
Jen and I ran over to Seth.
Jen grabbed his leg and I grabbed his shoulders.
We played tug-of-war with his body as blood splattered everywhere.
Pull him back. Pull him back.
I can't.
Let him go.
The creature kept slamming his body into the door.
The bottom of the wooden door cracked, splintered.
I slipped on blood and fell.
It won't let go.
I jumped up and ran to the kitchen, grabbed an knife, and ran back.
I raised the knife, looking for an opening.
Jen pulled Seth's body away from the door, exposing the creature's arms.
I saw the males dig deeper into Seth's face, blood running down his cheeks.
Stabbit!
I brought the knife down into the creature's arm.
The creature released Seth's face and side.
The left arm attracted out through the door,
but it couldn't pull back its other arm.
I kept the knife in it deep.
Then I twisted and sliced.
I stepped on the hand, not allowing the creature to pull it back.
Jen pulled Seth away from the door.
I don't know what came over me, but I kept stabbing and stabbing.
I sliced right through the skeletal arm.
Pendants snapped and the stubbed arm pulled out, leaving the bloody hand trapped under my shoe.
David, help me.
A pool of blood formed around Seth.
Jen jumped up and ran to the bathroom.
I went over to Seth and kneeled down.
His face was shredded.
I looked over to the creature's hand
where pieces of flesh were still stuck to the nails.
Oh, God.
Help me, please, David.
Don't talk, Seth.
Jen ran back with towels.
We pushed one against his face and one against his side.
They were soaked in seconds.
How is she still sleeping?
I looked over to Katie, who snored loudly.
Help me.
Please, David.
I...
I don't...
I don't...
I don't want to die.
I don't want to die.
Seth started shaking violently.
Jen and I tried to keep him still.
And 20 seconds later, he was.
He lay motionless.
Seth?
I let go of the towel and fell back against the wall.
Jen fought back tears.
Suddenly the moth appeared.
was it the same moth from my apartment
the one that constantly showed when nightmares woke me up abruptly
the moth flew into the hallway
I got up followed it
it landed on the kitchen counter
I grabbed the bar stool
lifted it and brought it down on the tiny insect
I continued to smash the bar stool against the counter.
Again and again, bits of wood went flying on the counter chip.
Eventually, I broke the stool and dropped the pieces to the floor.
I went back into the living room, grabbed the knife,
grabbed the creature's hand, and flung open the front door.
David, what are you doing?
I went out into the darkness.
I threw the hand into the woods.
If you're out there and you want me, come on, the door's open.
I'm right here.
Come on!
I stood in the darkness for a good five minutes, but the creature never showed and nothing could be heard,
save for the occasional gust of wind that shook the tops of the trees.
David, come inside. Please.
I turned around to see Jen standing in the doorway, eyes wide.
I went to her
She pulled me in and shut the door
Inside the scene of a horrific event
Blood everywhere
My head pounded in the room began to spin slowly
I felt my knees
And vomited
And...
Three hours later, Jen and I had moved Seth's body to the tub and covered it with a shower curtain.
We wiped up as much blood as possible.
We weren't really worried about the mess, but it helped pass the time.
When we finished, we both sat, backs against the wall.
Our hands gripped tightly together.
We stayed like that until the sun rose.
Around eight, Katie finally awoke.
Ugh. Oh, man. I don't feel so good.
She stared at us from the opposite side of the room.
Are you guys okay?
We didn't say anything, but we never changed out of our blood-soaked clothes.
What the hell happened?
She stood up and looked around.
What?
She noticed blood streaks on the floor.
Tears began to swell.
What happened?
Katie?
Where's Seth?
Paralyzed.
