Starting point is 00:00:00 you We've got Dustin Bundrick Bundy of Bundy Electric. Good morning. And of course the Bruce Buffer of Arkansas, Rich Rockwell. What's going on buddy? How are you? Yes, man. Yeah, very, very excited about today's show. It's going to be a great show.
Starting point is 00:00:57 We've got lots to talk about today. Rich, man, you guys, you just did an event. You were the guy for what was wrestling with pride in paragold. Is that right? Yeah. Wrestling with pride in paragold was, uh, just this last Saturday. Um, of course, bringing out her up there for them. Right.
Starting point is 00:01:15 Um, you know, great show was actually there, uh, was their debut event in paragold that used to be an oil trough. Okay. So an oil trough. Yeah. Yeah. Two places that sound way the hell off. How far is Para Gold? I don't know. Man, forever. No, it was like a two and a half hour drive
Starting point is 00:01:36 with all I have. Okay, so it's a haul, yeah. Yeah, I mean it's a little bit of a trek up there. Yeah, okay. Great crowd, man, and it was a great show for all overall i would say it was we did have a little bit of an issue some juicy stuff here this wasn't anything that you know it was predetermined unfortunately had some uh... egos let's just say maybe possibly spillover i don't know exactly what all happened but they're telling me a scrap in the parking lot popped off that wasn't something that had been discussed. Yeah. Yeah, that's the easiest way to put it. We had a nice little... Yeah!
Starting point is 00:02:11 It's like you're not at the wrestling gym. Bonus! Bonus! Yeah, now people are passionate about it. Free tickets to the boxing club. You love the passion. Well, it is exciting and I'll tell you what, we talked about this the other day but haven't circled back to it and I'm not sure how many people know so I kind of want to unpack this a little bit. So Laura, super stoked, is going to be joining the show full time. Yeah man, let's go. I'm stoked about that. Me too man, me too.
Starting point is 00:02:40 I mean it's something we wanted to do, you know know obviously for a long time and now things are lining up so that that'll probably we're gaming for March there in the meantime something going on with rich that's exciting is that's right Mr. Rockwell here is gonna have his own show on the network yeah called the intermission yeah intermission what's it gonna be about what how's that gonna be focused I mean of course it's gonna be a wrestling style news podcast we'll cover over news from you know the big promotions the WWE you know AWE all that all the way down to the independent yeah and yeah I'm sure you're gonna interview lots of
Starting point is 00:03:24 wrestlers you know talk about different things are people or should be that's going on around the area of the plane of talk about of course lot of probably independent wrestlers things but from all different levels you know those just didn't start it absolutely there's actually one i know that uh... for those that don't know there's another smaller promotion out there called the yeah they're sort of the farm that uh... for those that don't know there's another smaller promotion out there called all the
Starting point is 00:03:45 yeah they're sort of the farm okay uh... you know and so it just so happens there's an arkansas guy probably saw that park and roll jackson alice yeah yeah yeah yeah he's been invited to actually come up to the w and uh... have a little bit of what they call a dark match there, a tryout. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:06 From what I heard was told to be prepared to pack your bags and move on. That's awesome man. So you're going to have an inside connection to OVW possibly. Absolutely. That might help get some other, you know, get into the G League of the big leagues and be able to get inside information a little bit of what's going on for sure and we're gonna have some fun along the way too we're gonna have I think like I'm gonna do a segment of like a highlight match of the week yeah I like wrestler and then I want to do a little bit of the
Starting point is 00:04:35 behind-the-scenes stuff so yeah call out of the week oh you're a wrestler a promoter someone in the whatever if you have an issue with anybody come into a neutral space I like this yeah I bet it'll get squashed all right okay I'll let my wife call in this sounds great man this this sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun uh so you know that'll be a weekly show that
Starting point is 00:05:02 you're going to launch and yeah and then kind of grow from there. Yeah, I think we're going to what I'm looking at starting is probably Sunday, about like 1230. Oh, that's a good time of day. Yeah, go to church and get your food and come on home. Absolutely. Watch the intermission.
Starting point is 00:05:16 No, that sounds good. That sounds good. It sounds like a fun show. I'm super excited about it. Thank you for the opportunity. Now, man, you know, I told you from the opportunity. No man you, hey you know I told you from the beginning man you know you're great at what you do and I think that you deserve a bigger platform and so here you go. Oh yeah. You know we're
Starting point is 00:05:32 doing it. There's gonna be more to come. I mean look our network is only gonna grow from here. We're gonna keep expanding and growing you know this is about as it's always been uplifting people here who have a lot of talent and who have not been given a platform to show that talent right and you know we're gonna have others that are gonna join this and be part of the network in the future but rich is the first he is the prototype. He is the one that I believe in. And put all of my support behind. You know, manage expectations. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Yeah. Yeah. Now, it's exciting. And it's super exciting to have Laura be part of it. I mean, the audience. That's awesome. You know, everybody knows her. Yeah. Even though I'm going to do that, I'm still going to be part of the pack I mean the audience, everybody knows her.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Even though I'm going to do that, I'm still going to be part of the pack. Absolutely. Nothing's changing. Nothing's changing. He's not leaving the program. You're not done with me after I've had a good table shot? No, everybody's staying. Everybody's staying. It's only been over 1800 days. Bundy, from somewhat of an outsider, how would you describe Laura to people who haven't seen her? Man me and Laura. I don't know the best way to describe her. I just know anytime I see her it doesn't matter You know of course see you guys a lot more now that we're doing
Starting point is 00:06:57 Yeah, but right used to you know kind of be few and far between that I'd run into you guys in public But anytime and Laura's at an event or somewhere me and her always look up and she makes it a great time we're always laughing and cutting up Arc and Brawl was the same way I hadn't seen her in forever yeah and she's the life of the party even and you know an event like that background watching a show everybody's in Laura's world you live in Laura's world whether you know it or not your. No, everybody's in Laura's world. Trust me. You live in Laura's world, whether you know it or not. You're a guest there.
Starting point is 00:07:27 And that's how it operates. And I'm stoked for her to be on the show, man. That's awesome. I'm looking forward to it. I hope that everybody will be. I think most people are going to be really excited about it. I think, you know, not from a sound standpoint, but I think that she has a really unique boys in her perspective on things that are
Starting point is 00:07:47 going to take all the effort it's usually pretty unexpected well i know that you all have had some words back and forth but even Tammy says Laura is the queen yeah there's no doubt about it man there's zero doubt uh... that that Laura you know i've always said that i think i'm a great stand-up comic but I think she's next level. There's something about her, there's something
Starting point is 00:08:11 about the way she connects with an audience, be it, you know, in person or like this, that is unique to her. It just is and I've never been able to explain it. I don't know how to explain it. I'm not sure it's explainable Right. I the the best I can is just that laura doesn't have that filter that everybody else has and you don't know Everybody else wants to not have that filter up all the time. And even with my lack of filter hers trumps it Yeah, no, laura's is I mean, it's another world. It's zero percent. Yeah, there's absolutely no filter there. That's fair. Yeah, that's pretty fair. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, that's I think that's exactly spot on. I'm stoked for that man. Stoked for the intermission too. That's super cool. I think it's dope that already somebody we had at Orkin Brawl already has the WWE feelers on them. Right. I mean that is cool. Just think about that. You know, I mean wow. You've already seen them here yeah Legion scaffolding yeah like it was like what March 1st yeah March 1st we are back rude awakening so it's gonna be a great lineup a great card for people to come out and see oh, yeah
Starting point is 00:09:25 Yeah, well if you if you missed it at the very end of Arkin brawl hey tell them about it. Let me get some water Okay, yeah, I'll just take over the mic But no at the very end of Arkin brawl Logan light came down out of the back and and laid out the challenge to Jimmy He wants the title So you know Jimmy Buffet Gonna be defending the time. Yeah. Yeah that title will be on the line. Yeah, man That's gonna be it's gonna be a great time Maybe that dude won't use the brass nuts on him like like Patrick. Yeah
Starting point is 00:09:58 Yeah No, that's super dope though, man What happened last night on wrong and good? I didn't I didn't watch man Yeah, I was gonna say I didn't get to catch a lot of it Honestly with the weekend and everything man as soon as I clocked out of work yesterday. I was ready to go to sleep Which when I need I need Donald Trump to make the day after the Super Bowl the national Yesterday and like I will a lot of people I think I will clue y'all in we are getting ready to in the next few months and this this event is going to
Starting point is 00:10:34 start it so we're going to start a sort of a triple threat tournament and we are getting ready in the next few months to debut and release our new triple threat championship Yeah, it'll be a cool little be it'll be a belt that for champion triple threat champion It can only be defended in a triple style match up But we are going to allow it to be defended at any promotion. Okay in the state of Arkansas Oh, wow, that's cool. That's a nice team up and a nice collaboration right there. I love that. All right.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Well, let's do get to some news that you can use real quick. So a federal judge is ordering the Trump administration to fully comply with an order that lifts a freeze on federal spending. Comes after a group of Democratic states attorneys generals said some of the funds remain frozen last week the judge in Rhode Island said all funding must be restored until a hearing can be held on the group's
Starting point is 00:11:34 motion for the order to get a longer term I don't know exactly what it means but I'll tell you this look a lot right now what you're seeing is a lot of judges who were throwing up these temporary injections particularly on Doge and the things that this administration wants to do to either eliminate personnel or to investigate spending, right? Yeah, audit the government. So look, these injunctions that are done will either fall away quickly or make their way to the Supreme Court and get overturned, honestly.
Starting point is 00:12:14 That's just what's going to happen, whether you like that or you don't like that. And I do like that. As I've told you before, screw politics. I don't care about it. Don't care if you're left, right. It doesn't make a damn to me. I suspect that once they get under the hood, just as many on the right as on the left have been had their hands in the parking garage. So I'm not, I don't for a second
Starting point is 00:12:39 live under a delusion that one side is the guilty side and one is not. I just want to know what's going on because after you open the lid on one and I saw that I'm like wait a minute. Yeah let's keep going. And then I just saw a story today that in defiance I guess of a new executive order that FEMA scratched a 59 million dollar check to luxury hotels in New York last week. 59 million to luxury hotels in New York that are housing immigrants. And so that's a lot. What's the connection? Well, think about, look, just stop for a second. 59 million dollars, okay? Really? From FEMA. Now where could that money be going right now no disrespect to anyone but it could be going to North Carolina yeah those people have suffered a lot how about Los Angeles those people
Starting point is 00:13:33 suffered a lot you know there are a lot of places right now where I feel like 59 million dollars could be better utilized and you know I'm sorry but those are facts how many eggs I could buy with 59 million dollars? At least a dozen. I was gonna say that's what's bad the 59 mil what's that get you a night in New York in a luxury hotel? I don't even know. The Sunday Super Bowl some people might have speculated hey maybe it wouldn't be as watched as others. Well I got news for you. It was the most watched Super Bowl of all time. Takes the crown from last year's game as the second most watched TV program after the Apollo moon landing.
Starting point is 00:14:14 So the only thing bigger. And at the time that we landed on the moon, there were like three channels and everybody only watched those three. Okay, so you were already gonna be watching that channel. Now you have a billion. So for that, that's big. It attracted 126 million viewers across Fox, Fox Deportes, Tubi, Telemundo, and NFL Digital Properties,
Starting point is 00:14:39 the Eagles Chief Battle, the third consecutive record setting Super Bowl. Yeah. Oh, I know that game was the most one sided video I've seen. battle the third consecutive record-setting Super Bowl yeah it was an ass-whipping of epic proportion that there was one great phenomenal pass near the end by my homes yeah it was man I was a 60 yard he got that was god that was beautiful which i think they kind of let him have it a little bit well they probably did at that point you know they were less they were more concerned about no penalties than anything else they couldn't come back at that point there was no feasible way they could um look the eagles i i said it yesterday they they look
Starting point is 00:15:22 a couple years three years ago whenever it was they lost to them in the Super Bowl Yeah, they went out and they got the two biggest frontline guys They could with the specific purpose of this rematch to be able to stop my homes From getting all that time in the pocket No, he couldn't move and that's's the problem. Look, you you can't blame him. I mean, I'm not sure under those circumstances. Brady could have done it. Matter of fact, it reminded me of Brady the last year in Tampa.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Yeah, because he was nonstop. Correct. Yeah. No time in the pocket. And even, you know, I don't care who Aaron Rodgers, Brady line up here, your quarterback, if you got no time and you got people hitting that, you can't do anything. So but I am happy for Philadelphia. Oh yeah. Good for Jalen Hurts. You know I'm glad he got one. I'm glad Saquon Barkley got one. He's certainly worthy of it. A lot of great players on that team. Right. Okay the New York City subway system is getting a temporary SNL makeover ahead of Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary special announcements recorded by Keenan Thompson will be played
Starting point is 00:16:32 in 400 subway stations. Well, that'd be great. I'd love to see Keenan while I'm getting mugged. Right, right. Thanks, Keenan. Yeah, how about investing something that stops me from getting killed or beat up or robbed in the subway. That'd be better than Keenan or Pete.
Starting point is 00:16:49 They'll pretty it up for SNL, but won't do anything otherwise. The UK man who accidentally had a hard drive with 8,000 Bitcoin in it now wants to buy the landfill where it ended up. Such a smart idea. Well, it is. The site's being closed and a solar farm taking its place. His partner mistakenly threw out the hard drive during a spring clean in 2013.
Starting point is 00:17:12 The Bitcoin is now worth 620 million. So you understand why this cap might want it. This is a story of fall forever. I remember you talking about this on the radio. Yeah. Oh, it's been going on. Back in like 2015. Yeah, six, seven, eight years he's been trying to find. He's comb talking about this on the radio. Yeah. Oh, it's been going on. 2015. Yeah. Six, seven, eight years he's been trying to find. He's combed through this thing.
Starting point is 00:17:28 They've gone through it. The city eventually told him you're not allowed to look. Yeah. Yeah. And now the town isn't budging. Um they're he's trying to buy it but they don't know whether he's gonna be able to or not. You know. I'm so hopeful that we hear this. Man, I I would love to hear this guy find would love to hear this guy yeah he just you know I can only imagine what it feel like to find that laptop and be like oh shit here I wonder how many close ones he's found oh man that has to be a roller coaster right there I'm surprised there's not more people looking for it knowing it's there. Yeah I mean I don't know maybe the city prevented that.
Starting point is 00:18:07 There's so much attention on it. Yeah. Cause I know, you can't find it man. Finders keepers. I think when it first happened they let him bring out a crew and they went through and tried to find it and didn't and for years he's been searching you know they keep dumping shit. Right. That's what they're saying that you're interfering with our ability to, you know, manage the process.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Understandably, I mean, it's his fault. Or his wife's, or ex-wife's, I don't know if they're still married. I don't know. It's the end of the line for thousands of Meta employees. Facebook's parent company started handing out pink slips yesterday in an effort to eliminate 5% of the workplace that's thirty six hundred people who are gonna be let go they'll be more focused on AI and tools and tech okay so what you're saying is Facebook support and all that is gonna become even more yes useless than what it already is that well I don't know, I may do better to be honest with you humans aren't that reliable at times. Okay what else is going on? Oh okay a Texas game wardens have seen it all but one deer blind they investigated kind of shocked them. They
Starting point is 00:19:21 found a porta potty painted in camouflage and converted into a blind dude that's freaking brilliant really had a hole cut through the door to watch the deer and also use a gun through it it took a while to catch the illegal hunter but the guy came back after the ward and set up cameras he was nabbed and charged for the illegal blind uh why Why is that illegal to have that? Yeah. I don't know. Maybe it was like a trespass. Maybe it wasn't his land or something. Whoa!
Starting point is 00:19:50 Sure. You can make a blind out of anything. Yeah, it seems like it. Yeah. I thought it was genius. Yeah, no. It sounds pretty good. It may not.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Well, yeah, I guess you would have a bathroom too, wouldn't you? That's a good point. You ain't got to worry about it, man. Where's it go? No, it kind of covers everything. You don't even have to move your gun to poop. You can keep it right there, side it in.
Starting point is 00:20:09 That would have been my excuse if the game warden walked up on me. Like, hey dude, I'm in here doing business. Give me a second, come on back. Brings a whole new meaning to blowing the bathroom up. It does that. Kanye West, Yeezy, Yeezus, yay. Oh my god. Deactivated his account on X after sharing a series of insane posts. Stop it. Some said anti-semitic. It was wild. I saw him, I followed him on X and he posted like 200 times in 48 hours.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Just insane stuff, yeah. Kanye. Yeah, yeah no he is he's doing his art right now stay away yeah just he went after taylor swift at one point asking why she was shown dancing along with kendrick lamar uh he's feuded with her over the years um anyway uh you know this guy is a whack i mean i love him he him. He's a talent, a generational talent. He's brilliant in what he's made musically, but he is a rabble rouser. And look, he's come under fire. He was selling shirts with a swastika on it for 20 bucks. Now, now listen, understand this, not defending him, but please understand that that symbol existed prior to Nazis co-opting it and it did stand for peace. His shirt as it turned the other way with the piece on there, but he's still making
Starting point is 00:21:37 a statement. Yeah, yeah. I don't think that's his play. I think he's trying to take back somehow this symbol, but I don't know that it's going to work for him. A lot of times his, look, it does say what you want. He still sells a lot of albums every year. He's one of the top selling artists. That's the worst part.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Man, I love Gagné's music. I'll follow Gagné forever, but he just makes it harder and harder to like him. Well, when he does these things, and I don't know. I mean, I teach their own. I would like my wife not to be naked on the red carpet. That's me. It was so weird.
Starting point is 00:22:14 I'm selfish. You just had such a weird interaction. Well, I'm a selfish prick. I know that. I want to only see it for myself. I don't want others to look at it, and that's selfish on my part. But I guess they're it for myself. Right. You know, I don't want others to look at it. And that's selfish on my part. But I guess, you know, they're selfless people.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Yeah. That's what it comes down to. They're selfless people, right? And everybody on, I don't know if you all saw this, apparently they updated Google Maps. Did they? Yeah, see? It's Golf of America.
Starting point is 00:22:41 And so that it now says Golf of America on even Google Maps. That's the best. Not Apple Maps. It's Google Maps. on even Google Maps. That's the best. Not Apple Maps. Yeah. Google Maps. That's great. That's great. I love that.
Starting point is 00:22:48 I love that. I've always been an Android supporter. I love it. Really doing the important stuff. Right. Right. All right. So this won't comfort you, probably.
Starting point is 00:22:57 One person killed or injured at the Scottsdale Municipal Airport yesterday afternoon when a Learjet owned by Vince Neil of Motley Crew veered off the runways and landed at 245. The left main landing gear failed and the landing caused it to hit a Gulfstream 200 business jet parked on private property. He wasn't on board. His girlfriend, Rain, and her friend Ashley were on board.
Starting point is 00:23:23 The band manager broke five ribs in the collision but the girls were safe however let me just say this man there you couldn't give me a dollar or any amount to get on an airplane at this moment I will drive anywhere I need to go for the next few months so they work all this out because too many problems are happening in too many places. Why? You can argue.
Starting point is 00:23:49 You can debate it. I don't give a damn. I don't want to get on a plane right now. It makes me very nervous. No, I'm very nervous. Yeah, if I had somewhere to fly, I'd be real nervous right now. I'll sign up. I'll get on a plane.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Yeah, well, you go ahead. Get on one with Kanye. Get on one with Kanye. See how that goes. I wouldn't have to worry about the plane crash and I'd jump out myself. Donald Trump signed an executive order yesterday that he talked about Sunday imposing 25 percent tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports coming into the country from anywhere. The tariff on steel is new while the order raises his 10% tariff on aluminum from 2018 to 25%. Most of the steel used by American businesses is produced in this country, but the percentage of foreign aluminum used
Starting point is 00:24:39 in the U.S. is much higher. The U.S. steel worker said yesterday the tariffs would backfire if applied too broadly. We'll see, you know, this is again how he negotiates what he does. Whoever the manufacturers of steel outside of the country are, they're going to circle around they're going to come back and go, okay, what if we do this? You know, and he's going to change things up again. You know, this is a chess move or a card move whatever you want to call it. It was the same kind of tariffs he did the first time right? Yes. He put some steel in a little bit of a tariff. Yeah, absolutely did and at that point the steel industry
Starting point is 00:25:14 celebrated him because yeah American steel jumped up in cost and they were making more money so yeah you know that's that's the theory of how it should work. Elon Musk offered to buy OpenAI for just over $97 billion yesterday because he's not busy enough. He needs stuff to do. He's bored. He's very bored. Musk helped found the company a decade ago, but since separated from the business, became critical of the operation. He bought Twitter, of course, which is X now, for 44 billion. And OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said, no thank you,
Starting point is 00:25:52 but we'll buy Twitter for 9.74 billion if you want. Yeah, so they're having some kind of social media squabble. Just a contest. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anything you can buy, I can buy better. That's right. Grocery stores are starting to react to the fresh egg shortages being caused by bird flu. Trader Joe's, Costco, limiting the amount of eggs customers can buy.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Yeah, you get a little storm going on here, don't you, on these egg prices? You got a little bird flu, you got a little this, a little that. Yeah, eggs are going to go up even more. Get ready for your scrambled egg to cost 10 bucks. I was going to say. Yeah. I had a buddy tell me yesterday, he said, I do not want to hear complaints about the price of eggs in the age of self-checkout. I know that's right. Just get your eggs. Just get your eggs. That's right. All right. Let's do some good news. Last week, 71-year-old former triathlete Bill Parmaley collapsed while biking in Westlake,
Starting point is 00:26:49 Texas was saved by a cardiologist who happened to be driving by. Dr. Matt Evans stopped to help perform CPR for 10 minutes, revived him with the help of an AED before he was taken to the hospital where doctors put a stent in a blocked artery. Despite broken ribs from CPR, he's recovering well. He's going to take extra precautions while cycling and hopes that it raises the evidence. The doctor hopes it'll raise the importance of CPR training. Yeah. I mean, man, how fortunate, you know, how opposite of final destination when you go down, have a heart attack and a cardiologist drives by to give you CPR and keep you're now opposite of final I get the message. He did break his ribs. By the way, apparently minor cracked. I found out. I went to the doctor yesterday. Yeah, I cracked them. Well, you know, it still hurts and so I went to the
Starting point is 00:28:00 doctor yesterday and I was like, listen man, I mean, it's been like so wait three weeks. I just to be on the fly and to be a fly on the wall. Yeah. How did you explain to the doctor? I got to know, I got to know how this all went down. I gotta know. I gotta know how this all went down. He asked me. I said I did it wrestling and he said like you know playing with your kids I said no like a wrestling match event. He goes you were in a wrestling match event. Yeah and he goes you know you're you know how old you are right I was like no no I'm
Starting point is 00:28:46 unfortunately very acquainted with it at this moment trust me you won't say anything to me my wife hasn't already so go ahead and get your jokes and let me give you a few things to help you out so I appreciate that yeah because he goes now it looks like you probably you know cracked him at least one of them he goes maybe two so yeah it's gonna be a little bit longer before that's gonna stop her yeah yeah that's great now I appreciate that thanks Jimmy buffet okay this is cool too I heard he was running a special on ribs was Was he? Hey, oh. That'd be a funny...
Starting point is 00:29:25 Save that. Students at Pottsville Junior High in Arkansas, this is a cool story, have developed a tracking device to help caregivers locate loved ones with dementia or Alzheimer's. It's a group of students at an Arkansas Junior High. They created this device. It's inspired by the students at an Arkansas junior high. They created this device. It's inspired by the silver alerts in their area. Pottsville junior high students Josie Holland, Natalia Gullit, and Lorelai Hodge designed the tracker to make it easier to find missing individuals. After two months of development, they created a system where caregivers put in a unique
Starting point is 00:30:05 code with their loved one's information, allowing anyone who finds them to scan that code and report it. When a person scans the code, they're directed to a Google form asking for location and contact info which is sent directly to Tiffany Horton, Community Education Coordinator for Signet Health at Dardanelle Regional Med Center. She facilitates dementia caregiver support groups. She immediately contacts the finder, contacts with authorities, make sure they're safely returned to the family. Students are really excited about this. That's awesome man. That is super dope.
Starting point is 00:30:44 You know, especially do you know especially you know from here that's awesome as a really good right parents gotta be super proud of that be proud and that's i would as awesome and i mike is probably invented ways to eat snacks that get caught up in a and like props props also to them for thinking outside of the box
Starting point is 00:31:02 binding an area that really need yet that really it's really like that also on your phone silver all you have a horrible you know i think of some elderly person out there one that's awesome that's uh... it is good a good way to use technology and i would say it's great i'd here's another good
Starting point is 00:31:23 on saturday morning eighty- 85 cancer patients in San Antonio received makeovers and wigs through a partnership between Texas Oncology and Angeles Sin Pronteras. The event aimed to boost the confidence of women undergoing treatment, giving them a fresh look. One of the recipients expressed joy. And I feel wonderful. I feel very pampered, adding she hadn't felt really alive like that in a long time.
Starting point is 00:31:48 That's awesome too. See these are some good stories. You know you don't always have to just get bad news right? That's how it is out there. We need to get to this. Yeah. Funny. We're getting too sappy.
Starting point is 00:31:58 Yeah. Probably right. I'm probably too nice now right. So we'll move on from that. Brandon wants to know if we can zoom the camera. Oh, he doesn't like it at that? I like that level. But let's see, hold on.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Let's go this way. OK, and now he wants to zoom in. That's pretty moving, too. Right, man. There, does he like that better? I guess so. Yeah, there we go. Does he like that?
Starting point is 00:32:24 Hello, everyone. It's a blast from Green Day's past, kind of. The band's producing a new comedy film called New Year's Rev. It stars Mason Timms, follows a teenager who decides to live each day as if it's his last, leading to Unexpected Adventures. It's loosely based on the early days of Green Day when they were living in a van. And yes, the band members will make cameo appearances in it.
Starting point is 00:32:50 In a statement, Billy Joe said, van days rule. Then ended his comment with let the music and mischief ensue. So I don't know. Maybe it's like The Beatles' Hard Day's Night. Yeah, yeah. You know, one of those silly goofy musical right Benny Hill type comedies I don't know I mean slapstick II right not sure what it's gonna be but interesting. I wonder if it's gonna be filmed by a river.
Starting point is 00:33:18 That's a good question. Yeah, there you go. you pay you three dollars to take that they should be yeah and things good man you don't like it you don't like it man oh it's not healthy i mean that is delicious son of a heart attack man yeah man listen i want my arteries to harden as i swallow uh okay oh a monkey in sri lanka a single So a monkey in Sri Lanka, a single monkey in Sri Lanka, managed to knock out power to the entire country after touching a transformer inside a power substation. That curious little monkey left 22 million people in the dark, set off a firestorm of criticism. The editor of the Daily Mirror said only in Sri Lanka
Starting point is 00:34:23 can monkeys fighting inside a power station cause an entire island-wide power outage. Officials said wildlife interfering with power lines isn't new, but this is the biggest blackout caused by an animal. This is why a barrel of monkeys was a popular thing at one point. The Super Bowl may influence birth patterns. Yeah, people get it in after their team wins. Kids are born. That's the way that works. All right. Speaking of the way that works, Dallas Mavericks owner Patrick Dumont addressed the trade of star player Luca Donsic to LA. He said the organization has a commitment to cultivating culture centered on hard work, character, and dedication that played a part in the blockbuster to LA. He said the organization has a commitment to cultivating culture centered on hard work, character, and dedication that played a part in the
Starting point is 00:35:09 blockbuster trade. He suggested the decision to trade him was influenced by concerns regarding his conditioning and commitment to the team's cultural values. He said if you don't have that, it doesn't work. Let me tell you something. That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my life. Okay let me tell you something. Luca Donsick last year was the at the second highest average scoring season of anyone in the NBA besides Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain who I'm convinced is not even, never did half the things they said he did. I don't believe he ever had a hundred point game.
Starting point is 00:35:49 I'll be honest, I think that's bullshit. You can't find footage of it. There's nowhere. I think there's a lot of urban legend to Wilt Chamberlain. Ten thousand women, hundred points game. He's a fictional character almost to me. I know he lived. I know he played. I don't think he did have to shit they say Michael Jordan I watched play I know he's number one right a little over 30
Starting point is 00:36:14 points a game for a season average no one's done it ever again now Luca is number two with 28 point something points a game. Okay, yeah, he comes in a little thick because he likes beer. You've never seen it reflect in the game though. You've never seen it reflect in the game. If you come in with a pot belly and you drop 28, you're all the more impressive to me. I don't give a damn. No, dude, they're calling for his head in Dallas bro he's trying to justify do anything it was a moral decision no it
Starting point is 00:36:52 was not his teammates didn't like it he didn't like it he's fine now look you'll probably driving it a matter of fact I watched him last night he played half the game and killed it 132 to 113 yeah no they whooped you now Utah's hapless, but they whooped their ass and him and LeBron lebron Seem to They were laughing Passing dude man. They were having a blast. I love to see it. I feel for Dallas fans I can't imagine being a Dallas Maverick fan. Now they got exactly what AD brings. You know AD immediately comes in in the first half he's on track to score 40 and 20. Okay that's insane. Except he injures himself going into
Starting point is 00:37:38 the half. How long? Who knows it's AD. Could be a week, could be four. You know this is what you get with AD. He's great but he's fragile. You know a week could be a week could be four, you know, this is what you get with ad He's great, but he's fragile right, you know, uh, luca might be a little thick but guess what luca did He dressed out last night played in the game. Yes what ad didn't do dress out and play in a game How'd that make you feel about your moral high ground? The concern is the lakers defense, but so far you haven't seen it fall with ad To be honest with you they suck defensively in general terms but but if they can score like that look
Starting point is 00:38:12 the the the factor with Luca and and LeBron is that when you're going down into the into the lane with the ball you get but they got two people that are superstars that they have to focus the defense on they may have to double two guys and play different so what they did all night long is let everybody else make shots they'd crash the the the lane when the D collapse they'd hit somebody out they drop a shot Facebook stopped me from commenting. Oh did it? You said too much. Well stop commenting then. But yeah so look LA definitely won that in my opinion. LA is planning a longer term past LeBron when he leaves you know because look how long but
Starting point is 00:39:01 I mean in theory I keep saying how long can he play but he just dropped a triple double the other night it was insane a 40-point triple double at 40 years old right in his 22nd season in the NBA you can hate him if you want to but Jesus who's ever done that I mean there's so much talk but I think he wants to play consistently with. I think he wants to play games consistently with the Sun. I don't know maybe and I'll tell you something else I've talked about that too because I disagree with Stephen A Smith he went in on Bronny and now Bronny you know he shouldn't be there and all that look he just did it again at a 30-point triple-double in the G League. Yeah okay
Starting point is 00:39:43 he's gonna get comfortable he's coming backdouble in the G League. He's going to get comfortable. He's coming back and forth between the G League and the NBA. Will he ever be LeBron? No. He's not a forward or a center. He's not a big guy like that. He's never going to be that dominant. Can he be a really good guard? Yeah. I mean, could he be a 20-point a game NBA guard for several years very possibly Yeah, and and what he does have As is something you don't Just it doesn't happen naturally you have to learn it is basketball Acumen he understands the game thanks to his dad because his dad is a basketball genius, right?
Starting point is 00:40:22 You know look LeBron coached the Lakers until J.J. Reddick showed up. Now, J.J. Reddick, make no bones about it, is the coach of this team. Yeah, he runs the show. No, and you can see the impact he's made. Look at Austin Reeves, who's by the way from Arkansas. Yeah, Arkansas boy. From Arkansas, we didn't draft him or didn't bring him up to the hogs. No, no, he didn't play for the to the hogs and he don't claim the
Starting point is 00:40:45 hogs but but he had a 45 point almost triple double 45 points man. That kid man when he gets hot he can drain them. Yeah Rui Hachimura who's been a nothing for a year is all the sudden playing really well you know JJ Reddick's doing a good job. All right Auburn even though they lost they're still number one in the AP top 25 they barely held on to it edging out Alabama which sits at number two Florida and Duke tied at number three which means nothing's locked in on the polls the SEC proving to be one of the strongest multiple teams in the top 10.
Starting point is 00:41:25 So Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Duke, Kansas, Purdue, Arizona, Tennessee, Yukon, North Carolina. That is the lineup right now. Cooper Flag plays for Duke, right? Now where he plays, that dude, he's going to be the number one draft pick. That guy's a monster, man. I think they just lost this last monster. I think they did. But man, he is a bucket bro. He is money. I know that this is exciting to many of you out there. Notre Dame women's basketball team climbed to number two in the top AP 25, poll marking their highest ranking since 2019.
Starting point is 00:42:08 That comes after South Carolina lost to Texas, ending their 57 game conference winning streak. UCLA the unanimous number one. And they did it with an audience of dozens. And finally the NFL draft order is officially set so here is how it's gonna be. First team to draft will be the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Giants, Patriots, Jags, Raiders, Jets, Panthers, Saints, and Bears round out the top ten and that sounds like all the teams that probably need to draft somebody good yeah the Jaguars need a lot of things
Starting point is 00:42:55 I was gonna say I think that's gonna fix it no there's some teams that it's hard to fix things on and that's certainly yeah the Jets is one of them it's gonna be another 10 years before you hand them in. Man they sure dumped Aaron Rodgers. They dumped Aaron Rodgers. They shouldn't have got him I mean honestly. They probably shouldn't have. Is somebody gonna pick him up? The earliest report I saw was Minnesota maybe go play over Sam Darnold there. Sam doesn't go anywhere. Yeah what about the Raiders? That'd be a good place for him.
Starting point is 00:43:24 I feel like he did good. Do you think that he's really got anything left or do you think what you saw? If you throw up his stats next to Brandon Allen's for the Bills who just got you know MVP, league MVP. He's right there on them, past complete percentage. For this percentage uh... for this past season yes but i think i think alan had six interceptions rogers at eleven rogers at more passing yards uh... completion percentage was like sixty sixty three percent i think alan yeah uh...
Starting point is 00:43:57 yes that's why is that there's kind of goes over talking about earlier and it's the just probably the same problem when sam darnell's right is is is a better on your back what can you do? There's no line. Yeah, if you don't have any protection, you're right. And you say, I mean, the defensive line is what won the Eagles, the Super Bowl, and you can't name a D-line or an offensive line on any NFL team, hardly anybody can, but that's what matters. That's who people need to be drafting, get offensive line out of college. Yeah,, I'm clearly listen if the Eagles just demonstrated very clearly those are the To you know take out somebody who a quarterback like that that's dynamic
Starting point is 00:44:36 And and look even though he does run a little bit He doesn't run like Lamar or like Jaylin right. You know and so he's not at he's wily and can move around a lot but he's not as down-the-field mobile of a quarterback and so if you've got someone like that you know a Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers, you know Patrick Mahomes and you've got those those linemen busting through every time you're gonna cause havoc for them. Yeah.
