Absolute atrocities of what's going on in Mexico.

And these are places we went to. Resorts we've stayed out, probably been to Mexico 50 times the last 25 years. We have some incredible memories. But every time he'd go, he'd say, hey, just be careful what could happen. And this whole El Mancho story of what's going on with him, the guy was a former cop is what he was. The guy that they killed, who was the least. leader of a C.J.NG. El Mancho. Jal. Jalisco. He was a local police officer. His story

will go through. He got arrested in the U.S. before. They send him back. We've known who he is. You know, they split off from the cartel. And then they did what they did. But anyways, there's a lot to cover there. And Tom had a very unique angle this morning. I want Steele's thunder. I want you to hear it from him because he had a very good point on how America can, the folks who are concerned, how this applies to what could happen to Iran any minute now. State of the Union is when. Tomorrow night is when the State of the Union is.

The president, you know he's upset when he's sending tweets out on truth social with lowercase. He doesn't like lowercase. But he's the opposite. You know how they say the uppercase is screaming?

To him, the lower case is screaming. You know, it's different for different people. We'll show that. And John Kiroki, who was a former CIA agent, he's the guy that came out and talked about waterboarding, being a real thing, got arrested, got in trouble. He said some things that he thinks is going on with Iran. By the way, CIA, he's also. on Menect. His Menect is blown up right now with a bunch of people asking him questions. So apparently, in Mexico, let me go to the story to read so it'll take us right into it. Rob, what page is the Mexico story?

26 and 27. Page 26 and 27. Mexico's most wanted drug dealer, El Mancho, killed in military operation as violent clashes erupt across the country. Rob, is this the CNN clip or the ABC clip? ABC. Okay, go for it. Mexico's most powerful drug kingpin was killed during a military operation.

Mexican officials say criminal groups burn cars and trucks to block roads across the country. The State Department is warning Americans to shelter in place. ABC's Melissa Donne is near the border tonight. Explosions erupting across Puerto Vallata tonight. Black smoke seen rising

over the resort city on Mexico's Pacific coast. Mexico's military forces launching a daring operation to capture cartel leader Rubin N, known as El Mancho. Multiple cars on fire in the streets. Mexican officials say during their operation, military personnel were attacked. Several cartel members were killed. People running out of airports, of fire everywhere.

Maybe show that. Just think about, guys, many of you have been to this airport before. I've been to this airport. I don't know how many times, but if you have it, just play the clip. Yeah, this is regular people. Even security's running. You know it's bad when securities run it. Do you have some of the stuff outside where it's all on fire?

Okay, so things are nasty. A few things many before I come to you. I'll come to you first and then Tom. I'm going to come to you as well on on this. El Mancho, his name is Nemesio Oseguara Servantes. He used to be a local cop himself. He got arrested in the States, in America, I believe in

the 90s, if I'm not mistaken, for drug charges later deported to Mexico, born in Michoacan. We have a lot of friends from Michoacan, but he was born in Michoacan. He's a leader of Halisco's new generation cartel, C.J.N.G. They rose in dominance in early 2000s when they broke away from the Mexican Sinaloa cartel. So they were part of it. U.S. had a $10 million reward bounty for somebody that catches them. I think Mexico had a multimillion dollar bounty on catching them. And then they were known for the synthetic drugs like fentanyl and methamphetamine that they were selling, obviously, a very profitable situation that they have going on there. And then all of a sudden he gets killed. This is the phone call, Rob. Is this the phone call that you have? There's a phone call that takes place. By the way, for those of you that speak Spanish,

I just want you to know he's cursing nonstop. So brace for impact. He's going to drop every single F bomb in the world you can think about. But this is him calling, having a conversation, Rob. If I'm not mistaken, with cops, saying what the hell are you guys doing? Go ahead, Rob. Delta one. Hey, can't have.

are freaking relentless. I saw videos that were popping up on my ex-feed pat. I had to turn away because of the brutality. These guys, you want to talk about ISIS and Hamas and all that. Yeah, horrible as well. These guys aren't that far off. They had one guy taped to a tree, and they're like, in Spanish,

you're like, okay, you're ready? Are you recording? Blow torch. And blow torch and lift the guy on fighter, and they even had to shut the audio off because it's that bad. And it's kind of weird because now I'm tying in. Remember last week, Pat, or the week before?

El Paso shut down the airport because they said it was a balloon. I think it has something to do with these guys and flying drones around. But let's just just, just call it what it is. Like they designated, Trump designated them as terrorists. If the president of Mexico, Shimbledon, whatever her name is, she's scared of them and

cooperating with them. I think this was a, and mind you, this was them. They took him out with the assistance of us. We're not claiming that we did everything, but we did coordinate, I think, with logistics and stuff like that for location. And not our guys. No, not our guys. And by the way, the number two is going to step up.

But at the end of the day, I'm happy that they're starting. to take this serious. The border is just an open turnstile that Mexico with China as well, but Mexico mainly is bringing in guns, they're bringing in drugs, they're sex trafficking kids, and these are the guys. These are the guys. So when everybody, because you know, I guarantee you today you're going to hear on all these shows, all these leftists, they're going to be like, oh, we're starting a new war, we're going to go in, we're trying to install this and install this. Guys, they kill hundreds of thousands of Americans just with drugs alone. And I'll think about this. Americans are at Portoviata. My cousin,

Rumson, who was here last week, Pat, they were in Kabul a couple weeks ago for a month ago for the wedding. And I warned them, I go, bro, they're putting out threats towards Americans, be careful. We talked yesterday. He was like, oh, my God, I have friends that are there or are planning on going there. And it's just, it's a bad situation. And by the way, it's not going to get better. The number two guy has already started and made a video saying, what's up? Here we go. Tom. It's going to bit bad. Tom, by the way, Tom's perspective here is probably very important for everybody to consider because the next 48 hours, Anything could happen.

Go ahead, Tom. So for all of us that are taking a look at this, we could talk about Trump and the FTO designation and all that what went with it. We could talk about disruption to supply chain, tourism and all that. We could talk about all that. I think there's a lesson here. And the lesson here is if you cut the head off the dragon, you better be ready with plan B who's going to step in behind it and to manage it.

And when you take a look at Iran, that's what I think we need to be worried about. And perhaps that's why there's been this slow buildup of all the military. and they're trying to get around to the table. Because you look over here, we haven't seen the confirmed deaths yet. There were deaths. There were deaths of citizens. There are deaths. Almost certainly there's been deaths of tourists down there.

Oh, for sure. Certainly the shooting through there. We just don't have reliable media or anybody that's down there to cover it. But you cut the head off the dragon pat, you better be ready for the consequence. Look what happened. Saddam Hussein was found in a hole with lice and the beard. and he was just running for his life until they finally found him there.

And all the crazies swept in in Iraq. Now you see what's going on. This is a narco state. This is it. And by the way, 119. You know what that is, Pat? That's a number of days to the World Cup event in Halisco.

World Cup? That's right, Tom. Because it's you're right. Oh, no way. You're right. It's all America. Finals as in at the Jet. stadium, but it's, and I saw that. I saw the video. I kept asking myself, why are they showing

Right now you have a power vacuum and you're going to have two things in a power. vacuum, Pat. A war among those who want to be number one, and then whoever steps up, he has to assert power. That is how it works in gangs. That's how it works in cartels. You're going to have two or three guys, Pat, that are fighting to be number one, even if there's a designated number two,

because there's an opportunity here. And there's been alliances with the cartels. Then you're going to find out he has to do something ruthless Kaiser Sose to establish his power. That's the way By the way, if this continues, the FIFA president, he is not a joke. He will cancel the games in Haleisco and move it to a different place in no time. This is horrible to the city. Imagine how many small business owners were relying on that game. Yeah, he will cancel and move it to a different place. Infantino.

Yeah, he will move it to a complete different place. He's the one that gave that award to the president having to do with peace. I don't know if you remember that. He gave some kind of an award, the FIFA Peace Award to the president of November 2025. Yeah, the FIFA Peace Prize that he gave. Yeah, and so I'm looking at it. It's going to be one of the 32 matchups, so it could be anybody. It could be anybody, a major Latin American power.

You know, it's most likely going to be Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, some of those that could play. Casual question, though? Because I just saw Rob, can you put that headline of the president, Shineblum, of Shineblum, whatever her name is from Mexico? For the president to say, using force against cartels would violate human rights. War on narco, not an option. It's clear to anybody that's paying attention that she's obviously connected with them. But my question is this, well, guys, here's the thing. Stand that. What is the difference with her saying that and what that cop was saying to Elmantio?

There's no difference. There's no difference. So, in fact, because I want to ask you this question. You get them off us. Yeah, I want to ask you guys this question. We get involved with wars all around the world, you know, maybe Iran, Iraq, you name it. These people are touching our freaking Texas southern border. Do you think that this calls for something, and I can care less to anybody else thinks, like this is going to have to get, like, this isn't going to stop.

Are you okay with surgical attacks, boots on the ground? You have to, guys, you have to get them out, ruin stem. You can't just keep killing the head guy because trust me, there's so many of them. By the way, you know, you know what that does is what you're saying right there. That's the, is this a time to intervene

or not to intervene. That's what I'm saying. But the part about to the 100% isolationist mentality does not work. This is the part where why Rubio is kind of going like this and he's coming up to say, look, it depends. The answer is always what? It depends.

in the United States of America, the cartel narcoes be, I mean, because they're drugs and they're savages,

they're maniacs. Let's say the KKK. Let's say we killed one of the head guys of the KKK, and now this guy, this guy is out right now. It's sending all his people are burning down Costco's, shooting cops, doing all this. How would we respond? How would you respond?

They're terrible. We go after them and you've got to get rid of all of them. You sound like BB Nanyahu. No, no, I'm sorry. They say the Mexican security forces are outgunned here. The Mexican security and the police. No, no, he's right. Don't just start killing people because they're terrorists.

So now what are we supposed to do? Sit back. They're going to kill Americans if they haven't already killed them. That's a fact. We've seen it. We don't have the inside coverage. We don't have the full story. But we saw videos. They attacked and burned a police station. So they went straight to the headquarters. It's like, Tom, they're murder. They're pulling up.

They're driving around. And I've seen the videos. They're shooting all of them. They're shooting cops. Look at these guys. Guys, do you think this is military? This isn't military, guys. This is a freaking cartel.

They look better than I. Dude, I have a call of duty character that looks like that. Is that cartel? That's a cartel saying, we're coming. What do you want to do? Let's go. That's them. Play the audio rap.

Your mother likes me. I don't know. My, Pudas, this is the cartastic cart. Arming up and saying, here we go. And I'm sorry, all the isolationists aside,

this is, this is serious. And Trump has been saying this for how long? They're not sending their best. They're not, these guys are freaking, you think so? I saw a video, I saw a video, and I had, again, I had to turn away. They, on their own people, they caught a guy. The Narcos caught a guy that, I guess, was stealing money from them.

They tied him to a tree. While he's still alive, they cut open his chest, and they took his heart out, and he's still alive. This is brutality, bro. You don't mess with these people, and you just walk away. How bad does this affect Mexico's tourism business for how long? Like, by the way, you know what I'm thinking right now? I don't know if we're going to go to Mexico the next five years. as a family. Absolutely not.

That thought is gone, right? I'll explain that. But I wonder, like, who is even thinking about right now? There's a girl that did a video saying, I'm sorry, honey, you're worried about losing your $1,200 flight and your $2,000 hotel ticket. We're here. Shit's going down right now. People are getting killed.

I'm not worried about your flight and your hotel that you had booked. She's talking like that. People that have to cancel their plans. Well, Tulum, they've been telling people, am I correct, Adam? So if you're going to subscribe to the Down Road Doctrine in the Western Hemisphere, priority number one is securing the southern border so we don't have Mexico creeping in to the United States. And then up top in Canada, you know, the song that goes clowns to the left and me, jokers to the right, here I am.

We have narco-terrorists to the south of us. We have Hamas sympathizers to the north of us. Here I am stuck in the middle with you. The point is we live in the greatest country in the world. And everyone here is like, oh, well, you know, ICE killed one person. Oh my God. We see what's going on in Iran. We see what's going on in Mexico.

We see what's going on in Europe. You have to be an absolute idiot to not understand how great America is. I brought up, you know, Pat, do you remember months ago I was like, do you know that eight of the top ten most dangerous cities in the Western Hemisphere or in one country, it's called Mexico? So I have no interest in going to Mexico at all. All my friends, they go to Cancun, they go to Tulum, they go to all these wonderful cities in Mexico, I go, dude, just go to Miami.

You want to go to see Cuba, go to Little Havana. You want to go see Venezuela, go to Doral. You want to go to visit people in Haiti, go to Little Haiti. Come to Miami if you want beaches. Unfortunately, if you want to see Somalia, you got to go to Minnesota for that. But we live in the greatest country in the world. We live in the best state in the world. We live in the best city in South Florida, in Miami.

And this is what happens in Mexico. when you take out a narco terrorist, a drug dealer, this is how the country acts. No, thank you. And they call it his son, too. There's a video of his son on a helicopter, shirtless, head down, and they're pushing. And he keeps trying to look out the window. So they captured him. I mean, they killed him and they got his son.

So it's going to be a very interesting. I don't know how many sons he has, but this guy, El Mancho, so I don't know what El Mancho stands for, but if I'm just going to say, the Mench, I'm just going to say, the Mench, I run. Ironically, in Judaism means the most upstanding, incredible human of all time, the mensch. But the mensch's son apparently is sentenced to life in prison serving time in D.C. You can fact check that. His brother that goes by the name of Tony Montana, like from Scarface, he, Antonio, he's now apparently running the show over here.

But only in Mexico. What is this right? See the guy with a shirt with his head down? Yeah. That's allegedly. That's him. That's them with the son. And he's, look how nervous the pilot looks.

So they're saying the next three that could replace him are Ricardo Ruiz Velasco, who is One, he's a Mexican cartel figure identified as senior commander in Halisco, New Generation Cartel. He's one. The other one is Al-Diaz Flores Silva. And he's also alleged high-ranking figure in the same gang, one of the most powerful gangs out there. Also born in Michoacan. And then you have Juan Carlos, Valencia, Gonzalez. Another high-ranking guy.

So one of those three, they're saying, could take over. the U.S. Department has $5 million for information leading to his arrest. This guy here, Juan Carlos Valencia Gonzalez. So it would be interesting what happens there. But as we continue and we move on, Iran's situation is escalating very, very quickly. Everybody's asking, is it going to happen today? Is it going to happen tomorrow? Is it going to happen this?

By the way, would it be true? Would it be unlike Trump to do it while he's given a state of the United States? on tomorrow night, Tuesday night. Can you imagine he's given a speech and all of a sudden, boom, the attack takes place. And at the end, he says, by the way, check your phones. Iran has officially been this. We have Chaminé, we have this, we have that.

They may or may not. It's a little bit too risky, but when you're looking at what type of, did you see the B-52, which bomber was it that was flying in, Rob? There was a bomber that was flying in. And Whitkoff has never said that. I went back and looked at Whitkoff. Wittkoff doesn't put these little things out there like that. This is not his style. This is not the way he did it. So for him to be saying, I believe that they have the ability to enrich the uranium. We've been trying to talk to them. They're not, they're, they're no longer talking forthrightly. So when I see that, you know, we're giving them an opportunity. We've, Wittkov's there. Rubio is, is behind the scenes. We're trying to get them to do the right thing. But we want the transition. We don't want to

have Crazy 2 as a sequel to Crazy 1. So I think what's about to happen here, you can't allow the enrichment, but you've got to have a plan for succession. That's the issue, Pat. Those two things is what they're juggling. You've got to have a plan. You've got to get rid of the enrichment. You've got to go out to the facilities. But then you got to have a plan for succession. And if you, it's, and I think they're doing everything they can to do both at once and they're going to be pushed to the wall where I think they have to just go in and take care of the enrichment and just say, hey, don't F around because you look at those people. If you want to extend nuclear development, if you want us to do this, we're open to, do it. Just remove us from the sanctions.

Now they're coming. out saying, no, no, let's negotiate. Because apparently the last time when Whitkoff and Kushner went there to negotiate, I don't know if you heard what happened at the end. At the end, they're like, no, we're good. They walked out. No, no, no, no, no, no. This is it.

Out. No more negotiation. They came. They made their offer. There was discussion. They said, there's nothing else to discuss. They left. Which means an attack is what a lot of people think is imminent.

They're not going to be doing that. It's what he said on Air Force One. I don't even think they want to. I don't think we, they, they, Trump's team wants to negotiate.

By the way, how brave are these protesters in Iran after knowing that their brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, family, parents, kids, all tens of thousands were murdered by the regime and then they went out and protested again. Yes. Imagine that. Put yourself in these protesters' shoes. They killed all their friends and they're coming back two weeks later is basically saying, no, we can't stand for this. There's the most daylight in the world between the most brutal regime and the people that want freedom exists in Iran. So number two, follow the money. How much money are we spending to have a fleet out there in the middle of the ocean, in the, what sea is it, the Persian Gulf? What city is it?

Okay. The Persian Gulf, how much money are we spending? If Trump doesn't do anything, we just spent billions of dollars to what? Show for us. So in my opinion, this something's got to give here. Last but not least, follow the money. The economy of Iran is crumbling. I mean, they're already one of the worst countries in the world when it comes to the misery index,

which basically tracks what, unemployment and inflation. The people have nothing to live for at this point. The economy's in shambles. Half the people don't want to follow this ridiculous, ideological religious regime, and they're just basically saying, please come help us. Now, Trump, you've said that help is on the way. So what are you doing, President? Because, in my opinion, this 88-year-old Ayatollah, dude, he'll die a martyr, no problem.

The question is, who's going to come replace him? So we'll see. But, I mean, it's easier said than Don Adam. And I think Tom made a great point. And we've said it last week. Who's going to take his spot and who is the military going to listen to? because those same people that we saw videos that they're driving, bro, we're not seeing a sliver of what's actually happening.

What I've heard from people that have family there, Adam, they're shooting them in the streets and they're driving over them. I did see one video, I think me and Pat did, where a civilian finally was like, you know, the hell of it, and there was IRGC running in the street, and he was running them over. every president is going to have his own cabinet, his own appointments. Everybody that's flipping out over the FCC and equal time provision forgets that, you know, Biden had his FCC person. Now Trump's got his FCC person. And it's a policy. They're

implementers a policy. He's the commander in chief. He will appoint the joint chiefs that he gets along with. You have Biden, who is commander in chief, and he was appointing joint chiefs and then generals that were more interested in

in skirts, trans, trans, and making the military into something else than they were in national defense. So it does not surprise me that the Joint Chiefs would think different to his point there. And I also believe what they're saying. You know, I don't think Rubio's a war hawk. Here come the comments. Oh, you don't understand.

No, I don't think he's war first. But I think he recognizes what has to be done here. And, you know, do I think the cabinet split? Yeah, because you know what? I think Trump's got people in that cabinet that have a little tension with each other that don't necessarily agree with people. And I think, you know, you value that as a leader, that you get perspectives in the room. Everybody tells you you're right all the time. Then the day you're wrong and they're still telling you you're right, you're naked.

So I hope what he's saying has some truth to it. I don't know about his information or credibility. That's not what I'm worried about. Who I do trust are the Iranian people saying, Mahbad Ayatollah Khomeini. So we're all worried about who's going to be the next person up. I'm not worried about that. Why not?

Because what are the Iranian people are asking? Are they shouting, who's the next person? That will be figured out. By the way, in Miami, I've spoken to not 10, not 50, hundreds of Venezuelans. Every single one was like, dude, I don't care what happens next. Thank God we got done with Maduro. Every single person I know that is pure-blooded loves Iran, Persian,

who lives in America all over the world. Yes, they're going to figure out who they want next. They're saying, let's get done with this guy. Nothing changes if nothing changes. Do you want a different option? No, you want to attack. Because you already know your mind is made up. Do you really think this entire time U.S. wanted to negotiate with Iran? Do you really believe they were convinced that you could negotiate with Iran? Do you know what would happen the moment they brokered a deal? Guess what they would do the next day? You know what highlight real would be showing up?

What do you think the highlight real would be showing up? Of when Obama, the $150 billion Iran and, hey, all the Republicans that said, don't go negotiate with them and look what you did, Obama. You are officially Obama. So don't criticize Obama. That's what I would do if I was on the other side. That's what I would do if I was seeing and I'm playing those clips. I'd be shown that clip the entire time.

I'm convinced this entire time they've known 90% where they stand. I think the president and his team from six months ago to today, their position on Iran has changed 5 to 10%. Not 38% position that change. 5 to 10%. What they end up doing here with this, what happens? afterwards, Tom said it in the back and he said it again here. What happens

when he take out El Mancho? What happens to Halisco? What happens to Mexico? It's chaos. What's going to happen if you take out what do you call it? Bless you. What happens if you take out Chaminé and his sons and his people? There's only one big difference.

I think he's strong for his country, cares about his country,

but this is going to be president about President Trump's policies, not not, not Mr. Palavva's a policy. I think the president is interested in hearing everyone's views. He is not proud of authorship as maybe the best way for me to say, which I greatly respect because he's open to new ideas and new ways of thinking. To move to Europe. There you go. So that's the part. What did he say essentially?

He said, look, I met with them. The president has number Whitkoff did. And he says, this is public info. But this is not a Trump issue. This is not a Pahlavi issue. This is Trump's decision on what's going to be happening. I think the way it's looking at it. like right now, Rob, can you find out when is Venezuela's next election?

When is Venezuela's next election? When is Venezuela's next election? Let's see what the date is. Is it six months from now, three months from now, two months from now? When is their next presidential election? Because, wow, unless there's a political crisis. There's no constitution. There's six years.

The last one's on 2020. It just happened. You know what you mean? So, okay, so that means, so you know what that means? If it's in 2030, who the hell is in office in 2030? Who's president in 2030? We don't know. So how to hell do you control the point of contact, Tom, with that?

Well, they have one caveat. Venezuelan law allows early election if there's an absolute absent of president. Death, resignation, removal, extraction, extraction. But by the way, which could. trigger a new vote within 30 days. Hasn't happened? How long has it been? When was the Venezuela, when they took Maduro?

What date was that? It was it December 27? I don't know what date it was. This year. Was it January? When is it? What day did they take them out? There's so much that happened.

Any other Middle Eastern countries that practice democracy? We've seen what happens when we try to implement our worldview over there.

It gets real ugly. So you have three options. Correct me if I'm wrong. You have Supreme Leader vibes, which is this complete theological, theocratic, Shiite regime, which they seem to be done with. You have king or ruler,

which was the Shah, or you have democracy. in my opinion you have to go the middle version. They're done with the Shiite ruler, and there's zero case examples that democracy will work in the Middle East. We could wish for it, we could love it. Yes, you're going to be just like America.

I don't know if that's possible there. So maybe you need a temporary Shah, whether it's Rezapalovie, whatever it is, but there's no evidence in the last 50 years that a democracy can work in the Middle East. You tell me, am I right? Am I wrong? Thoughts on this?

Well, no, the argument of people saying, you know, let them have an election, let them choose their president, then if you take with the position you're saying, this isn't about let it fall and let's see who takes over. The way you're thinking, if they think the way you're thinking, they already have in mind who's going to take over to lead Iran. It's an ugly situation. Yeah, of course. You understand what I'm saying? It's a mystery map and a riddle and a quagmire. We don't know. Do you think the administration knows what they want to do?

Or do you think the administration is also saying, let's just do the job and see what happens next? Sadly, I think there's a part that's like, guys, we don't know what. That's horrible. Okay, of course. We learned when we went into Afghanistan and Iraq that we don't know Sunni, Shiite, Alawite, who's this, what's going on? Hezbollah, are they, our friend, Hezbollah is now working.

What the people over there are saying is, I am willing to protest. And they are brave souls right now saying, I am willing to protest, even though I know what has happened to 30,000 to 40,000 of my countrymen. I am going out in the streets. I am going to go here. And we want you to cut the head off the snake. We want anything but this. And that's what you're seeing. And I think if there was a clear path, we already would have intervened. You're going to do it. Ultimately, we're going to have to push them. And when the nuclear capability gets too close, you know what we got to do? We've got to cut the head off the snake. So here's the president, based on a thorough detailed and complete review of the ridiculous, poorly written, extraordinarily anti-American decision tariffs issued yesterday after months of contemplation by the U.S. U.S. Supreme Court, please let the statement, sir, that I, the President United States will be effective immediately raising the 10% worldwide tariffs on countries, many of which have been rip in the U.S. for decades without retribution until I came along to the fully allowed and legally tested 15% level. During the next short number of months, the Trump administration will determine

and issue the new and legally permissible tariffs, which will continue our extraordinary successful process of making America great again, greater than ever before. There is no doubt in anyone's mind that they want to make America great again. So you know what he's saying there. Tom, where are you at with this now after the announcement that was

last Friday was sudden. What's he saying here, Rob? This is where it calls out near Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett. Whether people like it or not, never seems to happen with Democrats. They vote against Republicans and never against themselves almost every single time, no matter how good a case we have, at least at in appoint Roberts, who led the efforts to allow foreign

countries that have been ripping us off for years to continue to do so, but we won't let it happen. The new tariffs totally tested and accepted that as law are on their way. President Donald Trump, Tom, thoughts. So a couple things here. First of all, in the midst of the cacophony, you had Ram Paul step up and said, look, we don't want a president to use executive order when the power of executive order isn't there because the precedent is when we have a liberal president or somebody from the other side, you're going to get stuff coming back the other way. We have to do this orderly. But Ram Paul is not necessarily.

anti-tariff. So on one hand, I get it. I get that we don't want to use the executive order if there's not authority. However, on the other side, we have been doing nothing. And what President Trump showed was leadership on tariffs, which I agreed with. We got people to give us trade deals. We got people that come to the negotiating table and got things shifted, that he's right. For we had decades, certain industries were disadvantaged. and our own government didn't care about our own people and our own industries that were going through it. And Trump went out and did it. Now, what I don't like is the politicization with ignorance.

And the politicization with ignorance is the Dems and the liberals that think, ha, ha, we stopped Trump. Wait, what did you stop? The tariffs have been working. There was not rampant inflation. CPI came out and it was 0.1, 2.3 and 2.4, year over year. You have to give a leader the ability to lead. And what's happening here is what's behind the scenes.

The globalists and the liberals want this one-world government. They don't want leaders to lead from a sovereign position. And so they're trying to stop him. But what you're seeing with Trump is he's trying to lead. And it's very tough for a leader to lead in a committee environment. And that's exactly what you have in government. And he's trying to sit down, get to search. points and push them. And so the Supreme Court decision disappointed me because I read it and

I believe that there is executive order capability in the area of tariffs. They're saying no. But Scott Besson has been saying for a year that they have other tools. To me, it's not that they have other tools to get it done. They're going to get it done for our economy. He's not going to give up. The issue is we've got liberals that think it's a good thing that you've incapacitated your from making good decisions for your country to write wrongs that have been going on for decades, and you don't like him. So anything but him, that's the part that sickens me. The part that sickens me is no one is looking at the success we've had on trade. Pat, no one's looking at the success we've had negotiating with people.

It's just anti-Trump. And that's the part that just pisses me off. I want you to see this clip in the video I'm coming to you. Go ahead, Rob. Mm-hmm. Justice is fortunate and Ferret, are you surprised in particular by their decision today? I am. Do you regret nominating them? I don't want to say whether or not a regret.

I think their decision was terrible. I think it's an embarrassment to their families. You want to know the truth, the two of them. Yeah. He started soft and in his mind he says, Trump, go. It's an embarrassment to their family. So at first he was soft. What are you saying?

Well, I mean, like, honestly, is anybody out there surprised? It's been an uphill battle, to say the least, from 2016, with Russia, Obama, spying, fast forward, all the way to shooting him, to even trying to win for America. And it's not like it's not working. How many billions and billions of dollars were freaking coming back. We're coming back. And it just drives me crazy that even when you try to say, Tommy, Republican, there, what was it? It's like enough already. Can we just, the guy's doing a fantastic job.

Yeah, I have some criticizing points on some other stuff, but like, what are we, what are we doing? It's working. We're respected. The money's starting to come in time. You talked about the numbers with the percentages and everything's coming back. It's like, give me a break. When is it going to stop, Pat? When are they going to say, okay, listen, you're the president.

We trust you at this point. Go do it. Let me see, let me see the breakdown. Let me see the case study. Oh, you made us $300 billion. Okay, keep doing your thing. They're respecting us. Do you understand what I'm saying? Yeah, on April 1st, the market goes down and then the market comes back all the way through the year, comes back, consumer CPI comes out. There was not rampant inflation. Do the liberals won't come to the microphone and say, oh, I'm sorry, I was wrong.

I said there'd be rampant inflation because of its tariffs. It didn't happen. Oh, we got trade deals done for a number of industries. I said that would never happen. Oh, wait, gosh, it didn't. Look at this. There's a success on it that no one wants to talk about. Here's my concern with this is when your president that you voted for is in, you support executive orders, you know, whatever he wants to do, right? When your president, the president you voted for is the president you voted for. You probably aligned with his ideas. What percentage? Say 90%. Okay.

All right. So you want that. Go make decisions. And remember, you can celebrate it when you're president until the other side. gets elected. Of course. My biggest trust in the system and the Constitution came when I found out what the most powerful community is in D.C. And that's the Supreme Court. Of course. We learned this during COVID. We learned this the last eight years. It's the most powerful. So check this out. Since 1700s, 1789 or so, 165 formal Supreme Court nominations have happened. How many of them you think

got rejected that didn't make it. 165, how many didn't make it after the hearing, after the Senate hearing? 165, how many didn't make it? 165, how many didn't make it? Well, there been a few. We mean, Bush had one that blew up and he had to pull it back. And then, um, Bork,

Robert Bork got blown up. How many do you think? At a 165, what do you think the number is? Is it high? Is it low? Is it? I think it's probably 20, I'll guess. 20, 37. That didn't make it through. Right. That didn't make you through.

through. Basically, there's a high bar. So do you know why that's important to me? Because imagine if all of a sudden Kamala doesn't get any other job and they nominate her to be a Supreme Court. How do you think she's going to vote when it comes on to different ruling and, you know, off the ballot in Colorado? You have to really make sure this is not an evil person. I don't know if you know what I'm saying. You have to really be thinking. So to me, a bigger part of this is more a 50-year thing than a short term. When I was with Rand Paul, Rob, if you want to pull up the interview with Rand Paul, how long ago was this when we were in D.C.?

Two weeks ago? Was it two weeks ago, three weeks ago? Watch this. Go ahead, Rob. Against us, I want him to have it. My concern is if Supreme Court takes that away from him, that power away from it, which he keeps bringing it up, which means they may do it. They may say no, and then we lose the revenue that we're getting. Well, it's not a matter of taking it away from.

The Constitution is pretty explicit. Taxes originate in the House have to go to the Senate. It specifically even mentions duties and levies. It mentions tariffs in the Constitution, says that they are in the prerogative of the House. Even the Senate can't. We're not supposed to initiate tariffs. Only the House does. Comes to the Senate, goes to the President.

It is a tax. A tariff is a tax. And it never was the prerogative of the president. Now, some legislation has tried to give him that power. But what he's using is something called AEPA, which is an emergency legislation. And it doesn't mention anything about tariffs. Supreme Court's going to rule against them? If they follow the law, they absolutely will rule against him.

You've got to be kidding me. Yeah, because the law is explicit. And so he will try to use other reasons for how he can use tariffs. But it's also very chaotic. I mean, you know. You can pause it right there. So this is Rand Paul saying this two and a half weeks ago. When he said it, he says if they follow the law, they will rule against him.

Adam thoughts. Well, thank you for interviewing Rand Paul because once he basically said that, I was like, oh, they're going to strike this thing down. because in my opinion, you know, we need to make great again? Congress. We need to make Congress great again. There was a time where Congress actually did their job, but we're living in such partisan times that they can't even do anything. So Trump has to do things like this.

So if I'm a massive, massive mag of Trump fan, here's how I'm thinking. Trump's doing the right thing. He's American America great again. We're going to impose reciprocal tariffs. They're going to pay. We've had, what, 2% tariffs in all these countries? we're putting it up. You know, he busted out that whole chart.

I love my charts. You know, the EU, they're going to pay 39%. Vietnam, they're going to pay 90%. Taiwan, 64%. Japan, 46%, India, 52%. One by one by one by one. They were all paying 2%. So now he basically put it down to what 15% now?

But Rand Paul's right. Because what goes around comes around. And he said to give this example, God forbid, president communist aOC shows up and wants to start implementing a socialist agenda what then all the the the progressors are going to say exactly this what we voted for and all the people with common sense are going to be like uh uh uh uh so i said on the last podcast thank god this was six three and not five four because trump of course is attacking the the judges that did inside with him but what's uh you know article one of the constitution

All legislative powers are granted to the Congress of the United States. They have the power to make the laws, to declare war, which they haven't done since World War II, even though we've been wars all over the world, to levy taxes, which are basically tariffs, and to confirm judges, like you just mentioned, and cabinet members. So totally understand why Rand Paul, where he's coming from, because we respect the rule of law. He basically said in defense of our republic. But I also understand what people are pissed.

Trump's doing the right thing. Trump's basically imposing these reciprocal tariffs. Unfortunately, nobody wants to say the quiet part out loud that this has costed the average American household about a thousand bucks per household. So, you know, you get what you pay for, you know, you're wishful thinking. Prisker came out and said, send this cost the average American $1,700. Send them back $1,700. $1,700. Cut the checks. Here's what's his name had to say. Rob, if you want to go to the Kevin O'Leary, go for it. Great to see you. So this has got to be a pretty big day in your world. What has the reaction been? It's not a great day for me. We were humming along nicely until this morning. Here's what's happening on the ground. I know you've been talking about the politics and the policy, but let's talk about a business making $100 million in sales. It might have paid out $5 million in the last 14 months on these tariffs. They're in my portfolio. I got phone calls. I got phone calls. from our customers, from our lenders because we board against our line of credit, and from our shareholders that we reduce distributions on during this period waiting to settle on the tariffs.

They all want their money back. Now to be compliant, what am I supposed to do? I don't even know how this is going to get filed. It's going to be with Treasury, not the IRS, I assume. So I'm going to try and get a meeting with staffers, best as staffers, when I get to the State of the Union next week, to see if they can give me some guidance, because my head's getting squeezed from the top and the bottom to be compliant. And every business in America is going through this right now.

There are people that want their money back within the distribution shareholder and lender system. And for me, and I'm telling you right now, you're the first to hear it, I'm setting up a resource called WunderTrust.com hiring, if not hundreds, thousands of accountants and lawyers, because I don't know how else to be compliant. And I'm going to use them with my companies who are just, what else are we supposed to do? because everybody wants their money back and i i i wish i don't know what the policy is going to be on that it's it's not a great afternoon for me to be honest with you do you feel like you eat

tom well you see you see the waterfall effect everything's got consequences and so now what they're talking about is is there going to be a tariff refund for all the companies that have paid for that you know that money so in other words let me translate tariff refund folks the government basically Issues money. We used to say print money, but government just takes on more debt, pays everybody back on the tariffs. We take two steps back on balancing the budget. The can gets kicked down the road, and we are sitting there in a worse economic position long term. Trump is trying to turn the corner on this. There's so much to it. And, you know, Kevin O'Leary's right. You know, here he is an investor. He's trying to help companies be compliant with the laws and what they're going to do, and he's going to do. And he's got some people that are screaming, I want my money back. And he's saying, well, then how do we do this? How do we hand it over? Washington doesn't know and doesn't understand what it's doing. The liberal side don't understand the impact they have on American businesses, even though the Supreme Court has ruled the way Rand Paul thought they would rule on the rule of law.

Tariffs are a tax, therefore taxes only come from Congress. End of story. It's such a bigger issue, here about leadership in American and allowing the president to govern. There was a time where we could come together across the aisle where Tip O'Neill would sit with Ronald Reagan and the Rose Garden and have lunch once a week and talk through things for the good of the country. Well, right now you have certain people that are worried about the good of the country and it's a conservative. Yeah, you know, I said this to you this morning, is, and I don't even know what other way to say it. I don't know if Trump's wiring is built for the speed of our system in America.

I don't think it is because... Well, his speed worked negotiating with other countries. It did. But can you imagine like you're working in a company that you're working faster than the company is working? So we're accustomed to the startup environment. If we want to make a decision, how quickly do we make a decision here? Like this, we make a decision. How quickly did we make a decision in Ph.P?

Like this, we make a decision. Change the comp, do this, through that. We're going here. We're doing that, right? Give me the facts. Let's process. Let's go. Now you go to a company.

You've got board approval. You got to go through this. You got, which, by the way, so America's got multiple layers of board. A company typically has one board. Yeah. So you have to go sit down with the board. You got 7, 9, 11 people and say, guys, here's what I think we need to do. Let's vote for it.

I think we make this investment and buy the company for $188 million. $5.4 voting against it. What are you talking about? Here, Congress, then Senate, then... By the way, Rob, can you ask the question, according to the Constitution and our system, if the president did take all the tariffs for the different countries he imposed through Congress and Senate, what is the fastest

and slowest it would take for them to get approved. Do you know what question I'm asking? Each country? Yeah, so I want to know if, okay, great, we follow the system because that's the great thing about America. You're following the system. If we did follow the system, according to the Constitution, what does it say?

Short answer, a president doesn't you need? Because Congress already has delegated part of its authority through existing trade laws. The speed depends on how long. the president. It gives Congress power to regulate commerce and set tariffs, but over decades, Congress passed laws that delegate limited tariff power to the president, which is why the president, I know, but that's the 10 to 15, but I'm talking about above the 15%. You saw the president that just raised it from 10 to 15? Well, says the slow path, new tariffs require full congressional

legislation. We know what's going to happen there. You end up with the inflation bill with a bunch of other crap packed into it. Go lower, Rob, to see what the slow path would be? Keep going lower? slow path. Okay, number one, bill introduced to the House or Senate. Two, committee hearings and markups. Three, majority vote on House. Majority vote on Senate. President signs, realistically months to years. Are you kidding me? Like, what do you? How long did the big beautiful bill take? Do you understand? By the way, can you flip the question and ask, how long, flip the question, copy paste the question, and ask, and just replace it instead of America, put China or Russia. Change the country from U.S. to

China or Russia on how long it would take? 24 hours. Well, that's the point of. China system works very difficult. The fastest and slowestment with tariffs. Who controls the formerly trade and tariffs sits under the state. General of the State Council,

and Customs tariffs on the oversight. Fastest way to administer approval on their authority. If tariffs are framed, how fast, days, two weeks, okay? What about slow? Slowest way, majority and long-term alignment of the RFP. months, sometimes longer, but it doesn't say months or years. So our system, even if he wanted to go

through by the time they get to vote, would be midterms, and then even if it passes through. So all I'm saying is for a person that comes from the business background that's used to dealing with speed, the speed of getting tariffs done is way too slow in America. Way too slow. Do you understand what I'm saying? I totally get it. And it's great. Some would say, thank God it's slow. Some would argue and say, thank God it slow because you know, you're happy when certain

things are fast, but you're like, remember day one, we're going to sign an executive order. We're going to sign an executive order. So then moving forward, you almost have to sit there and think about when a president says, we're about to sign an executive order. You've got to sit there and say, listen, Supreme Court. How's the Supreme Court going to be ruling? Again, it all goes back. to how powerful the Supreme Court is.

The Supreme Court is the Board of Directors. It's the Board of the U.S. Wow. And thank God we have them. Whether we like him or district. I'm telling you. I love it. Remember when Biden wanted to allegedly pack the court?

We're like, what does that mean? What's going to happen here? By the way, you know who looks incredible right now? Maybe the biggest win of his career is Rand Paul. He said it on the PPD podcast. He said, straight up, I expect them to shut this down. because they're going to in defense of our republic.

So California, by the way, the governor came out and publicly his campaign, I think, is called 960 because he told in front of a group of African Americans that he got an SAT score. 960 and that he's not smart like everybody. And he says if his speeches were written, he wouldn't be able to do it.

And the only thing he was missing in this video is a hot sauce in his pocket to pull out and say that he carries with himself all the time. But that's somebody else's schick. Rob, go on and play this clip. Go for it. I'm not, you know, I'm not trying to impress you. I'm just trying to impress upon you. I'm like you. I'm no better than you.

You know, I'm a 960 SAT. guy. And you know, and I'm not trying to offend anyone, you know, trying to act all there if you got 940. Oh my God. Literally a 960 SAT guy. I cannot, you've never seen me read a speech because I cannot read a speech. This may be the wrong business to be. What is he talking? Okay. Can we, in this? room, whatever you're doing at your house, you're in your garage, you're making coffee. Do you understand? A white man is in Georgia sitting on stage with a black man who is the mayor, Andre Dickens, and he's basically slowing down his speech and saying, like, I'm dumb like y'all.

Like, I barely pass the SATs because I'm dumb like y'all. This is the Joe Biden, if y'all don't need to decide whether you need to vote for me or Trump, you ain't black. And I'm, I'm, I'm at my wits end with the black people that are out there in that room and all across the Charlemagne, the gods and all these losers. Like, when are you going to step up and say this is absolutely appalling and it's racist? And I hate to be the guy to be like, if it was the other side, but if it was the other side, if a government, name a Republican governor. Go ahead, Tom. Name a Republican governor.

Schumer and the Democratic Party don't think black people know how to get an ID to vote. Kathy Hochel, remember when she said black kids from the Bronx, don't know what a computer is. And the black community is quite. How are you sitting on the sideline? If Pat, if I was black and I was in that crowd, I would have stood up and be like, wait, wait, what are you talking about? I would have been kicked out of that room. I would have been kicked out. But beyond pandering, Tom, he's basically saying, guys, I'm stupid too. You're stupid.

They moved out of California because they couldn't afford the rent or even to buy a home and also start a family. Yeah, we've had hundreds of thousands of people move in California. The last two, three years, we've seen population growth. As you know, we moved from six to the fourth largest economy in the world. Dominate. Now, in every key industry from AI quantum robotics, we dominate an ag. We common force.

But people are struggling to do four things like your mom was. Oh, she dropped the mom thing. But, but, and again, professional. You have to give, like, he's such a good serpent in the grass. He knows the exact, by the way, I even forgot what the question was. Because he's like, we're dominating. I'm using my hands. Look at my hands.

Don't look at the lies that are coming out of the mouth, out of my mouth. He's the future. He's the future of their party, Tom. Him and the Mamdani's and the AOCs. Tom. That's them. Beware. The pandering makes me sick.

The pandering has gone on from the Democrats for a long time. And when African Americans and people go out there and express independence, you know, Stephen E. Smith is not out there screaming like a conservative, but he takes a moderate point of view and he's calling things out that he doesn't like. And there are some that do it. But suddenly they call you names. Oh, you're betraying us or you're going the other way. They're expected to stay in lockstep.

In lockstep voting for people that pander to you like this, in lockstep to a guy that comes in there. You have to remember Obama did it too because Obama didn't have street cred with the African Americans in America. When he would come and give speeches, he didn't have the cred. And if you look at some of these speeches, he started dropping his ars and talking with that. Don't do the hard hour, Tom. Yeah. Talking with this tone and everything. You know, I'm one of y'all and down. And it's like, it's just pandering.

It's absolute pandering. And they're waking up. The voters are waking up. There are African Americans that are waking up. They're thinking for themselves that are saying, listen, I will not be automatically assumed to be your voting block. I'm there. And we've seen it moving election by election. And I hope that the, look, the numbers are screaming.

They used to hold 92% of the African American vote. It was less than that. in this last election with Trump. I don't have the number handy. I wish I did. But that's exactly what you're seeing. And this is racist and just insidious pandering here. It really makes me sick.

And remember, to those you in the African-American community, ask yourself a question, where has it improved? I'm going to give you this. Have you got it? I'm going to do this for you. Have you got it? As I've said before, these folks in Planned Parenthood have run a black genocide upon you through abortion. If you take a look at the number of aborted babies and you go back and you look at it, 14% of our population, proud African American citizens, 40% of the abortions. Why is that?

Because they want that. Yep. They want that. And if that hadn't happened, low it be the size of the African American community in America. What would be the size of that? 2530%? Would they have tolerated being used at the voting booth and then giving nothing at the legislative cycle to improve schools, communities, opportunities? No, they wouldn't. And Obama wouldn't have been the first African-American president. He would have been the second or third. Thurgood Marshall's son would have been the first, in my view.

Bingo. Adam. Yeah, well, let's make racism great again. You know, every, you know, we see in the NFL, we're going to end racism. So there's two types of racism. There's the open, overt racism, which, to be honest with you, I'm better with, because you just come out and say it, bro. Say how you feel.

Then there's the other racism, which is like the low-key racism, which I believe George W. Bush called the soft bigotry of low expectations. Remember that? You know, he had a few famous quotes. You know, fool me wants, can't get food. The turrets. The turrets. But the soft bigotry of low expectations.

What are the soft bigotty of low expectations? I don't expect a lot from you. I have very low standards from you. So if you don't excel, if you don't have a high performance, if you don't excel and succeed, it's because it's who you are. And then becomes a self-fulfilling cycle of, of course you're not going to do good.

Now, we saw you fill a pothole with asphalt here just a few minutes ago. And you're encouraging people to call 311. But guess what? We know people. I work with people who've called 311.

Nothing happened. The pothole was never repaired. They called several times over a couple of months. What do you have to say about that? Let me just tell you that in the last two months, three months, we have fixed over 10,000. We have a lot more to fix, but I think this is a reflection of decades of lack of investment in our infrastructure, and we are definitely addressing that. You talk about that.

I mean, we spend so much less here in L.A. than other cities do. For example, New York or San Diego, San Francisco. And we haven't repaved a single city street here since last summer. Well, let me just say that we have much more we need to do, which is why I've been developing. So you can pause right this. Sounds like a politician, you know, lip service. But by the way, who is the guy? Who was the guy? We have to recognize that guy. Can we get his name? I don't know where he lies politically. I'm sure he voted for her. You can pretend to be a Republican and try to win. Republican has no chance. When's the last time a Republican did anything meaningful in California? is it a Schwarzenegger? Is that when it happened? We have got all this, United States has this. But here we have one party. And that's a challenge. Because if you fall out of line and fall out of favor with the party, that's it. California has a one-party system, and unfortunately, a Republican has no chance, and didn't they do something with the gerrymandering and everything like that and the redistricting in California? It made it even worse. So I don't see California getting better anytime soon.

Yeah, I mean, it's not going to help if they do the gerrymandering and become 48 to 4. It's a losing proposition for two states that they want to lock up the left and the right is California. California and Texas. They don't even want it to be a discussion and they're doing the same thing. They're both gerrymandering, but we'll see. We'll see what I happen. Folks, when it comes down to IDs, you need IDs to be able to shovel and not just one, to shovel snow in New York, but you don't need IDs when you're voting, guys. Let's get it straight. response to a winter storm event. Federal law requires that employers get authorization and documentation to pay people for their work. I think you need to accept them that they say that they're a religion of peace. You have to believe them. Don't worry about that they want to kill infidels. and pushing off fiscal problems to some future day. That's, uh, for Reid Zakari, you're saying this. He said, Democrats in city halls should stop governing as if it's a goal to announce new entitlements and instead make government work. Now here's what he said about New York City, which is like the crown jewel of government bloat. Number one, their budget right now, which we talked about the other day, $127 billion just in New York City alone, which is the size of some small countries like Greece and Thailand. That's number one. Number two, under Mayor Bloomberg, which was as soon as,

as recent as 2013, I want to say. So 13 years ago, it's 127 billion now. Take a guess what it was under Bloomberg? 70 billion. Okay, so almost double in the last 13 years. So if you want to talk supply and demand, whichever they comes down to, pre-COVID, there was 8.8 million people living in New York City. 8.8. Everyone fled, the rich left, whoever can afford the hell to leave. They're all living in Miami, their Florida, wherever they went. It bottomed down at what? 8356. 835. Okay, so that's how many people left? Over a half a million people, Pat? Is that right? So now in 2025, this is at the end of 2024, 2025, they still haven't gotten up to pre-pagdemic levels. What's my point? Everything comes down to supply and demand. So if there's less people and your budget,

budget is more, guess who's going to have to pay more taxes? The people living there right now. That's why you have those black guys last week. They're like, oh, hell no, bro. We voted for you, but I didn't think you would tax us more. Who do you think they're going to tax, buddy? It's not just going to be the rich. It's going to be the homeowners. It's going to be everybody else. Then, here's another example, if you want to show this, the cost of education. Just to educate our kids, you know how much they're spending per child in New York City? 35 grand per child. Dude, that's the price of a nice

private school in Miami. Maybe 50, but you'll get there. So $42 billion just goes to educating kids. 35 grand a kid. Now, if you want to show this last piece, this is what a high earner has to pay in New York. We understand

that California is at what? 13%. Tom did the math last week. He said, Adam, you forgot about not only the state, but the city tax as well, and the personal income tax. so you're paying as much as 55%. That's what you're paying in the EU. And by the way, in the EU, you get universal health care and free college.

At what point are New Yorkers going to say, what are we paying for at this point? Unbelievable. And the coup de grace right here is, I don't know if I sent you this, New York City has the highest marginal corporate tax rate. So even companies are paying 17.4%. At what point are people going to say, I'm done with this. I'm moving to Miami. Come on down. The weather's fine. You know what's pretty bad, that was great, the numbers you went through.

You know what's bad when Wapo's editorial board mocks Mamdani for facing harsh reality less than two months later. When Wapo goes after you, Wapo goes after you, you're doing some wrong. So this is going to continue. You're the people that laid off hundreds of people. And I hope Mamdani succeeds. Over the weekend, we all saw the reports, 20-year-old guy tried to jump over and, you know, he had a shotgun in his hand and no time he was eliminated. Rob, if you want to play this clip. At 1.30 this morning, the security detail detected that a individual had made his way into the inner perimeter of Bar Lago. A deputy and two Secret Service agents on the detail went to that area to investigate.

They confronted a white male that was carried a gas can and a shotgun. He was ordered to drop those two pieces of equipment that he had with them, at which time he put down the gas can, raised the shotgun to a shooting position. At that point in time, the deputy and the two secret service agents fired their weapons and neutralized the threat. He is deceased at the scene. I'll give you a picture of the shotgun and the gas can to have with you. So that's what we know now. Investigation continues.

The FBI is the lead investigation agency on this case, and we will be assisting them in whatever manner they would like, and they will be responsible for answering any other questions at an appropriate time. Okay, so that's that. Now, the gunman shot at Marlago was obsessed with Epstein cover up, came from family of avid Trump supporters. The man who entered Trump's, again, this is the Daily Mail story. The man who entered Trump Marlago with a shotgun and a gun gas can as it comes from a family of supporters.

Austin Tucker, 21 years old, was shot and killed on Sunday morning after entering Marlago. Brandon Fields, Martin's cousin reacted with disbelief called Martin, quiet and sane. His family was almost entirely in favor. We are big Trump supporters, all of us. bodyfield said, but his cousin was real quiet, never really talked about anything. Martin himself was also allegedly a supporter, however, a text message uncovered by the output showed that Martin may have been influenced by the Department of Justice release of the files related to dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein on February 15, just a week before he was killed by law enforcement.

He texted a coworker at Pine Needles Lodge in North Carolina and the files about the files. I don't know if you read up on the Epstein files, but evil is real and unmistakable, Martin said, Vinnie. I mean, tragedy, but how, like, ignorance in the same breath. What are you, first of all, the president's not even there. It looks like a suicide mission to me. You're showing up to Marlago. You know it's heavily guarded with a gas canister and a shotgun.

And depending on what kind of ammunition's in the shotgun, if it's buckshot, you're not doing anything but pissing off the person that you're shooting at. If it's a slug, you have to have a really, really good aim. So I don't know where the mindset of something like that was, but for the whole family to be Trump supporters and then to have something like that, what's the end goal? Like, what's the mission? And who's talking to him?

I don't think it's just on the internet and he's just looking on X to find that. In his brain, what is going to kill? What was his objective? Go and do what? The president's at the White House. To go there and do what? I think it's, and again, people, you know, online, listening to what they're listening to,

it's a certain way, but to me, like, in all honesty, I'm asking you, Pat, what is he doing with a gas canister and a shotgun? You know you're going to get confronted. The one thing that bothered me is that he got into the inner perimeter, which even though the president's not there, there's no reason anybody should be getting that close. What do you think the objective was? What is he trying to do?

With one shotgun, no, no massive ammunition, no backpacks, shotgun gas canister. What is he doing? You think he knows the president's not there? I'm almost positive he knows the president. So what do you think he's doing? I don't know. Maybe it's a suicide. Like, just like that guy that, I don't know if it was an airman or army guy that went in front of the White House or something, put gasoline all over himself and killed himself and protest of what was happening in Gaza.

It's like, are you trying to do a suicide mission to bring awareness? There's so many other ways to bring awareness than going there and you know you're going to get killed. When you pick up your gun and aim it at a law enforcement officer, you know what's happening. He's not going to kill. Well, you're going to kill five of them. No, I think he knows what's going to be happening. So what's the goal? I want to hear more about the mental condition and what happened.

Mentioned media is going to say, oh, see, completely disappointed, disillusioned with Trump to the point of going to engage it like that. But your questions, Pat, are the right questions. Those are the questions at the center. If you know Trump's not there, then you know the only people you're going to encounter is the second level security that is securing dwelling because there are no active targets on, and I hate to say that,

but they call them active assets or active targets because they know people are targets. And so, Pat, if he goes there, he knows it's going to be second level security, and this is what he's going to encounter. And first of all, I thank you for the sheriff that sat there and gave a very transparent and complete report. That is what strong law enforcement reporting for the media and the public sounds like. I'll give you a picture of it so you have it.

I'll do this. But he says he then raised the gun at us. What does he think is going to happen? At that moment, that's a suicide. Yep. Adam. Well, it only takes one psycho to change the world. I mean, we saw what happened with Charlie Kirk.

We've seen what happens when Trump almost got killed, shot. We've seen what happens with school shooters. it's you're only as strong as your weakest link. Here's this kid that's clearly mentally ill. You drive some North Carolina. Whether he thought the president that was there or not is almost irrelevant. He went out of his way to kill himself. So by the way, how many times have we been to Mar-a-Lago in the last few years?

We're lucky enough and I'm grateful enough. Do I've been to Mar-a-Lago? I don't know, a dozen times? We've done our events there. Dude, you're not getting past security. at all. Much less if we're going to go to the White House or anything. Like, you're not getting there.

I mean, Butler, PA, that's a whole other story. Okay, but this kid thinks he's going to show up and do what? So I'm so grateful that we've become, you know, tight with the Trump administration. They invite us there. We've done our events there. I know we're doing another event in Miami sometime soon. Dude, you're showing up and you think that you're going to do what. So to me, this kid is irrelevant.

He's an embodiment of what's going on that these weirdo kids next thing you know he's going to find out he's a trans shooter. God forbid we bring that up, they think that they're going to take vigilante justice into their own hands and change the world. Whether it's school shooter, whether it's Charlie Kirk,

whether it's any of these characters, hopefully they're killed before it even becomes an issue. Because the fact that he got how close? Inner perimeter, whatever the hell that means. That's very close. You know, it's by the house. So thank God everything's okay. Thank God everybody's okay.

But it only takes one idiot to change the course of history, what you almost learned. It is very weird. And by the way, yesterday, you know, I was talking to a couple parents about what young boys need. And I said there's five things young boys need. They need a present father, the right belief system sold to them.

You need high standards. You need friction and you need fun. You need friction to be able to know that life's going to to be tough. And over the weekend, I saw video an interview with Anthony Hopkins. Anthony Hopkins, one of my favorite actors of all time. The guy was in Shadowlands. He was in, I think it's called Shadowlands. He was in Silence of the Lambs. He's been on so many, the fractures. He's been on so many things. But in this interview, he just came out with a book a few months back, and this interviewer's asking him about his daughter. His daughter's 58 years old. They haven't seen each other for 20-plus

years. Oh, wow. And she does not want to see him. And you have to see how uncomfortable he gets. And then I want you to hear his answer. Then I'm going to come back to you guys. Then I want to show you a video clip of a son and a father talking to each other. This son is not 32 years old. But let's watch his clip first. Here's Anthony Hopkins being asked about his estranged, being estranged from his daughter. Go ahead, Rob. For you. So I know what you're going to talk about my domestic life. Yes. No. No. Even though it's in the book? No.

Stung. You doesn't want to talk about. Can I ask a general question that's not specifically about the material in the book? Well. But it's about the... I'll stumble through this. Part of the reason that the material in the book about your relationship with your daughter, your strange relationship with your daughter,

part of the reason why I found it so painful is that it resonated with me for personal reasons. I've seen my father, I think, twice in 20 years. I've spoken to him once in those 20 years. And I'm very curious about other people's experience of that kind of estrangement. In this instance, the estrangement is my choice. But I just wonder if you have thoughts about where reconciliation might lie

between estranged parents and children. My wife. Stella sent an invitation to come and see us. Not a word of response. So I think, okay, fine. I wish her well. I'm not going to waste blood over that. If you want to waste your life being in resentment

50 years later, 58 years later, fine, go ahead. It's not in my can. You see, we can, I could carry resentment over the past, this and the other. But that's death. You're not living. You have to acknowledge one thing that we are imperfect.

We're not saints. We're all sinners and saints or whatever we are. We do the best we can. Life is painful. Sometimes people get hurt. Sometimes we get hurt. But you can't live like that. you have to say get over it

and if you can't get over it, fine. Good luck to you. But I have no judgment but you did what I could. So that's it. That's all I want to say. Do you hope your daughter reads the book? I'm not going to answer that now.

I don't care. Wow. I'll move on. Please, I want you to. Because I don't want to hurt her. I understand. I don't want to make, And he, no, 20 years the offer was made, but fine.

And Pat, we talked about this. I couldn't see my mom's still alive. I love her to death. I couldn't see a moment or a scenario happening where I know that he's walking around and I wouldn't be able to talk to him or be around him, even though whatever he put us do. And remember you asked me, Pat, I think a month ago, you're like Vinny, not less than a month ago we're eating dinner and you're like if you had three wishes what would one of them be and I told you five minutes with my dad give me five minutes so when I see people like that it hurts because I'm like you could see the pain he doesn't want to talk to he's fighting it he's fighting it fight you you've gave this person everything you've nurtured this person you gave them a life

they're 58 years old they're they're they're an active you know contributing person in society and you can't get them to be with you or even communicate with you and it's like Like, man, that's a struggle I can only imagine. I can only imagine with everything that I've seen with you do, with Tico, with Dylan, with Senna, with Brookie, it would drive, Pat, if I found out one day, Tico doesn't want to talk to you. And it's just because in his mind or a scenario happened in his head,

he doesn't want to talk to you. It would crush me knowing how horrible, horrible you would feel because of everything that you've done and the lessons and everything with the video that you put on Instagram. the work and all the stuff that you put in. So I'd be curious to find out what happened. It's none of my business, but I mean, if he's saying it's in the book, but it's soul-crushing.

It's soul-crushing. And I could see it in his face. I could see it in his face. So, yeah. Yeah, it's tough, man. In this article, this is, him and Abigail did a movie together called Shadowlands, which I think is a story of C.S. Lewis, which is worth watching if you haven't seen it. And he was an alcoholic.

He talks about it in his new book as well. he married his first wife, I believe, in 1967, and they had her. It's the only child he's ever had. And when they ask what happened and why he was hurt, because if you go a little bit lower, there's a picture of the two together smiling. That's his daughter right there. So she was an extra, she had some kind of a small role in a movie. Go a little bit lower, Rob.

So he says, they fought frequently. Hopkins explained at points of contection. Rob, can you see if they says they fought frequently? Is that his daughter or is that about his ex? go a little bit higher to see if it's talking about his daughter or his ex. By the time we realize how awful of a match we were, Barker, it was pregnant, and we tried to rally for the sake of the child we were about to have, but it was no use.

The marriage was a disaster. So he's talking about his wife, go a little bit lower. And then he says, Dave Fartfrey Hopkins explained that points of contention included his alcoholism and Barker's resentment over his career. One night when he returned from home, returned home from working on a location of Scotland, Barker greeted him with sarcasm.

and called him Mr. Lord, high and mighty. I have never been physically violent, but in that moment I was filled with such revulsion that I became afraid for myself and her. And at that exact moment, Hopkins decided to leave for good and went to see his 14-month-old daughter in a room. I looked down at her and whispered goodbye. He writes, then I walked back to the hall,

picked on my suitcase, and left the house. Go a little bit low, Rob. Aside from sending financial support, I don't have contact with Petronella and Abigail for a few years after. to that. It is the saddest fact of my life and my greatest regret. And yet I feel absolutely sure that it would have been much worse for everyone had I stayed. And I don't know, I don't know the religious beliefs, Pat, but I horrible, horrible situation. I don't know if she's a Christian.

I don't know if he's a practicing Christian. The attitude that he has, which I think is beautiful that I miss is we're all sinners. We're far, far, far, far from perfect. I, I, by the way, I don't act. I'm trying to be the best Christian that I can. I try to walk. in the path. I sin. I stumble all the time. He's at least saying as a man, I messed up. We're all going to mess up. That's what this life is about. You are the furthest thing from what Christ acts, but we're trying to walk in the footsteps. And again, if she was a real, I don't know who she is, I don't know nothing about her except for what you guys wrote. If she was a real practicing Christian, that forgiveness, which is one of the hardest things. Praying for your enemies is number one for

me, which is so difficult, but I do it. And then forgiveness, knowing that we fall short of the grace of God, but he gives us that moment to say, listen, you're going to fail. You're imperfect. And if you, if you accept that, then it could be that, that relationship could be a lot different. Because if that was me and I was a daughter and I was a real legitimate practicing Christian, I'd say, dad, you know what? I love you. I forgive you. I'm not going to forget anything that you did, leaving me at 14 months old, but I do forgive you. Adam. Whoa, I'll try to not cry like Vinny, but it might be tough. Well, I'll say this.

I'm respectful and jealous of the relationship you have with your dad because I see the relationship you have with your dad, and I just didn't have that relationship at all with my dad. I had the opposite relationship, Vinny, where you said you want to spend five more minutes. I said, I can't spend five more minutes with this guy. I tried and tried and tried to work out this relationship with my dad. And at the end of the day, like, I just had to block him for my life. And it was the first time that I was able to, like, press block on my phone after considering it. And he died less than a month later.

And I had all these crazy voicemails on my phone. It was tough. But when you deal with challenges in your life, it only makes you better. Like, if you see poor people, they get motivated, but I'm not going to be poor. It's not going to happen. When someone says you can't do so, yes, I can. So for me, I had some. such a contentious relationship.

My father, I'm like, I'm going to have the best relationship with kids. I was a camp counselor. I was a school teacher. All my best friends have kids. I'm like, the fun uncle, I've taken a massive role in my nephew's life, especially since my sister got divorced. So I'm going to be the best possible uncle, father, leader. And obviously, I'm going through that vetting system right now with my girl.

But it's not easy. You know, you said these are the five things that every young man need. You said, what is a father? A belief system, present father, a belief system. Standards. High standards. Friction. Friction.

Fun. And fun. And I wrote it down because it's so true. And I wish that more people, that more men had that active role with their kids. I mean, you know, the one movie that you not encouraged us to see, you made us see was the judge. And Robert Duval, I want to say, passed away last week. And the relationship they had with their Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Deval, that was, was tough. I think he had

to come back after being estranged for decades and represent his father that was accused of murder and was this the movie and he says, where were you? Was that this movie? That's Johnny Cash and walked along. Gotcha, but same concept. Both of them. In that scene there's also where were you? All she wanted, your mother just wanted

to see you. Why don't you come? Yeah. So it's tough out there and we've seen the stats about you know, the best outcome for a kid is to have a two-parent household, a nuclear family. But then when you take away the father, the stats plummet. But when you take away the mother, and it's a single father, the stats say the same. And I'm not discounting what single mothers do

because God knows we have that massive problem in this country, but the father's role in the life is the most important thing. The last thing is this, I have friends on the opposite side of things, guys, my age, that have gone through a divorce. And I've seen the women that hold the kids hostage from my buddies. And I wish it was an equal footing type of thing, but men have to know what they're getting themselves into in the legal system because they're always going to side with the mother, whether that's alimony, whether child support. So be very careful who you have kids with, go through the vetting system. I know you talk about the 101 questions to ask before you get engaged, but this life thing

that we're all trying to do, nobody has all the answers. But I want to show you this. I want to show you this, Rob. Can you go to this other clip I sent you? Because, Vinnie, I want you to see this. These two go hand in hand. Here's a guy that is sitting with his dad. Okay? And this guy is a father now himself. He's got a son himself. And he is trying to tell exactly how he feels about his dad

and the most respectful. And he is so sincere in this clip. Very emotional. Rob, go ahead and play the clip. I waited for you. I waited every weekend and you never showed up. And he always told him. He always said, no, you.

What? And I love him. My mom. You know we never had this talk. I think it's 33 years right here. That's what this is. Yeah, and you told me that you would come, Daddy. You never did.

You told me that you was going to pick me up. And I waited and I look at my son and I think about how much I, what my son means to me and I can never make him sit on a curb. And I don't say this to make you feel bad. I don't. I really love you. This is not the beat you up show. This is the here we are.

This is the we're going to rejoice. So let me get it out. Because you like me were the same. I know you love to talk. And I love to talk. And I've been talking and talking. But let me keep talking. And let me say, was that little boy.

And you told me you would come. And you promise. And you promise. You know, I'm a man of my word today because you aren't. Wow, that's a really famous rapper. Who was it? Is that logic right there? Logic.

That's logic? I never saw that. He's one of the greatest rappers, white, black, whatever. Is that really logic? M&M rapper level. Yeah, that guy's nasty. Wow. I didn't know that.

I didn't know that was logic. Yeah, I didn't. Until mid-interview, I go, wait a minute. I saw the tattoos. What do you think about that? What do you think about a son being that vulnerable with his father for not being there, the pain, the emotion? I could never do that to my son.

Insane. Like, I would never have. him be on a curb and sitting away because guess what he right when he said that i knew that he was sitting on a curb as a kid like where's my dad oh man well this what i talked about where you know if you're poor you're going to have that motivation right he learned from his father he said i'm not i'm going to be present for my kids because you weren't present for me so it comes down to this one thing you don't have to have that generational curse in your family you can be the person that stops the curse, whether that's money, whether that's education, whether that's fatherhood,

whether that's anything in life, you can be the person that makes the difference. So shout out to him for being the best version of himself. Tom. You know, there's a reason that the Lord tells us, don't let the sun go down in your anger. And there's a reason that when Christ talked about all the characters of humanness, he said, but the greatest of these is love. And there's two simple truths about kids. Who is in their ear is always important.

Kids, other parents, who is in your kids' ear, number one. And number two, they're watching. They're watching you. When people get divorced and suddenly leave, they don't walk out on the spouse or walking out on the kid. Because that's what the kid believes. Kids inherently believe it's not my fault. I'm here, and your fight's not my fight.

Adults in counseling help people unpack these wounds, where you come later in life and you say, my parents got divorced. That wasn't, it says it hurt me, and I was innocent. And my dad tried to say, you don't understand. You had to live with my mom. You don't understand. You have to live with your dad. Parents don't leave each other. They leave kids. And it is the power of faith and the Holy Spirit that gets you to a place where you can forgive.

But not letting the sun go down on your anger and finding the love for those around you. Logic was giving his dad a gift there, the gift of transparency and the pain so that they can work from here. and I don't know what happened with Anthony Hopkins' daughter, but he admitted he came into a kid and he said goodbye. The kid wasn't in the fight. The fight was the mom and Hopkins. I don't know the situation. I don't know the other facts.

But you see it all the time where kids just draw a line. And the line is not a line of rejection typically. It's a line of protection. that people say that hurt me so bad, I'm going to put up a wall here because I won't be hurt again. Other times the kids are just putting up a line of anger, says you've hurt me, and I'm never going to let you close to me. But all of it, it's human tragedy. It's all human tragedy. And regardless how deep you go or how far you go, there's always a way out. And the way out is that Jesus Christ can heal.

even if the parent is never to be seen again or has passed away, he can heal the bitterness on our hearts and give us a way forward. And for those who are awake and are available and are here, be careful of who's in your kid's eyes and be objective about who you are and what you portray because they're watching. That's great. You know, and I would tell you, humiliation, public laws, causes people to run and get away from things.

Sometimes a father is just not that present because, you know, the wife, the embarrassment, the undermining, any of that stuff, it's nasty. It's one thing that the kid just wants, man. He just wants you around. That's what he wants. He just wants you around. He wants you to say, I believe in your son. He wants you to say, you know, challenge him to do a little bit better.

He wants you to give him the gift of time, quality time, words. positive affirmations. And those are things that we can do. It doesn't require money. You know, and no matter how much money or how little money you got, I remember my dad had nothing. When we would go and we would eat at a burger king,

we would eat because he could afford a whopper. And it was working at a 99-centor, and I would go the days that he had me when I would see him every other week and we'd go to the 99th century. He would make me a little sandwich and we would sit there and listen to a, you know, Persian music that he's playing.

Nasliman, Nasleto, Nasslet Teharroki, Zamune, Nassli. I mean, we would just listen to the song over and over again at Westwood or in, you know, Inglewood. And I would remember these moments. So you don't need all the money in the world to give your kids what they want. It isn't just money.

They want words. They want belief. They want encouragement. They want playtime. And they want you to know you believe in them. Because society today isn't saying that a lot. And if the wrong person tells you, kids they believe in them and they're the first to do so typically their philosophy and ideology

will be imposed on your kids do not be the last person that tells your kids i believe in them be the first never be the last one never be the one that doesn't do it start off when you get off to today's podcast and whatever you're doing for the people that are still watching call your kids today make it an assignment write them a note tell them how much you believe in them and why here's why i believe in you it'd be one of the best conversations you have with your kids And if you haven't done it yet, it would be an amazing moment.
