So I first came to Edward Jones with a great deal of trepidation.
Starting point is 00:00:35 When I first met with my advisor, and I really was feeling vulnerable about what I would have to share, I was of course pleasantly surprised to find that there was absolutely no judgment and a lot of support. And when it was time to get serious, he really took my hand and helped me to do that.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Edward Jones, we do money differently. Visit edwardjones.ca slash different. 30 seconds. Did you ever think you would make it? I feel I'm sony, I would like to see you not be angry in the morning. Run homie look what I become First of all for once Vinny I would like to see you not be angry in the morning What are you talking about once and Adam? I don't know what happened with Adam Adam actually went to the Waltz Harris campaign. Yeah rally in Miami By the time he came back nothing wrong with that his ass these roles like his language has changed a little nothing wrong with it, his roles, like his language has changed a little bit.
Starting point is 00:01:44 Stop it, Patrick! It is what it is. No, really. And then Tom, this morning, he's gonna read some rules and guidelines to you guys in a minute because we got a massive announcement to make to you, so hang tight, but prior to doing so.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Big, big, big, big, big. But prior to doing so, let's go through a couple things. Last night, Kamala Harris made a mistake of doing the town hall with Anderson Cooper, thinking it was a good idea, but she has to do it because right now the market has to come and react to see what she has and by the way kudos to Anderson Cooper there's an article that's entitled Anderson Cooper slammed for infuriating Harris town hall. We got to show you some of those clips. LA
Starting point is 00:02:19 Times for the first time in 20 years didn't endorse a candidate. Think about this LA Times from LA they're always taking somebody that's from the left for the first time in LA. They don't endorse anybody and guess what happens? LA Times editor quits after owner blocks paper from endorsing Kamala Harris. The guy quits on leaves. How dare we not do that? I'm out, right?
Starting point is 00:02:46 Model claims Trump roped her after they met through Jeffrey Epstein. You see this October surprise spring job that they're doing, be ready for it. Some interesting stories are gonna be coming up. And it's only October, what are we today, by the way? It's October 24th. Let me go through a couple of other stories here.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Bronnie James makes debut and plays with his dad. Pretty interesting, fun to see that. Transgolfer decides to stop competing with biological females. He says, I'm not a woman, is what he says. What? Yeah, it means for him to think of something like that. By the way, nowadays when there's a divorce,
Starting point is 00:03:22 you're like, it used to be, who gets a frequent flower miles? No, you get it, no, I get it, no, let's split it. Or maybe we's a divorce, you know, you're like, it used to be who gets the frequent flyer miles, now you get it, no, I get it, no, let's split it, or maybe we give some to, you know, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. Now, the divorce, this is Wall Street Journal article, by the way, who gets the TikTok in the divorce? Can you imagine, like, who gets that? By the way, it's actually, yeah, I'm serious.
Starting point is 00:03:43 The messy fight over valuable social media accounts in a divorce, okay? We'll talk about that. Those followers are mine Well, that's kind of what you are as much as you're joking. That's what it's about It's exactly Israel kills Hezbollah's new leader in blow for terror group By the way, this is the third time if they're saying we're hiring for the job say I'll be the assistant I'll be the vice president, I'll be the press secretary, I'll be the whatever, just you choose to be the leader, you're gonna get killed and it's coming your way.
Starting point is 00:04:13 So maybe put a suspension, you know like back in the days when I wanted to be a firefighter, they put a freeze on hiring firefighters in LA for five years. Maybe Hezbollah needs to say we have put a freeze on Hezbollah's leader, and in 90 days, we'll hire a new one. But for now, there's a freeze going. Make that announcement on Craigslist or something like that. The last guy screwed up.
Starting point is 00:04:33 They said, hey, we'll hire you. And he said, gee, thanks. The next morning he said, you know you're promoted to general. Wow, thanks. Hey, we're gonna page you. Take the page of that. Go, yeah, here's the page of it.
Starting point is 00:04:42 Here's your pager. We'll page you with the news. No, actually, it's a palm pilot nowadays like check my palm pilot you know it's cat Williams by the way it was Maricopa County election officials say they expect to take 10 to 13 days to tabulate ballots in general election can you imagine that like hey we need 10 or 13 days to count no all right What the hell is going on? Well, it is what it is. Jamie Dimon privately supports Kamala Harris. He just won't say it. That's a New York Times story. Tulsi Gabbard officially joins the Republican party in North
Starting point is 00:05:15 Carolina. Bill Gates gave $50 million to Pro-Harris fund, but secretly he did it and it apparently leaked. Barack Obama busts out the M&M, lose yourself at the Kamala Harris Detroit rally, fired up Adams, so we'll react to that. Harris admits American Dream was dead under Biden's administration. Previous generation saw it not as much anymore. It's like, it's so interesting that even Van Jones is
Starting point is 00:05:46 saying I'm starting to get really annoyed with the stuff that she is saying. Trump says car loan interest deduction will only apply to US-made vehicles don't want it to benefit other countries. It's actually very creative way of doing it Tom if you think about it. Unless your F-150 is made in Canada. Unless if your F-150 is made in Canada, yes. Yankees, Dodgers, World Series, among most expensive, fastest selling of all time on secondary market. That's insane to think about that the big game that's coming up next, you know, what is it? This Friday, I think, is coming up.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Friday's game one. Friday, Saturday in LA. Selling out within seconds. Everyone's trying to get to it. Unfortunately, you cannot get tickets to it. It's tough to find. And then next one, Secretary of State Rubio, Energy Secretary Bergen. They're talking about who's going to be in a Trump's administration. We'll talk about that. A personal trainer says Diddy passed him around like a party favor. Another Diddy story. McDonald's. Every day. McDonald's link to E. coli outbreak, CDC says.
Starting point is 00:06:46 This is a day after Trump, and they've had this story for a minute, but they drop it after Trump's going to McDonald's. Go figure. And then the stock drops. We'll talk about that. Home sales on track for worse here since 95. DOJ reportedly warns Elon Musk his $1 million voter giveaways may be illegal. Wall Street Journal gets into position to profit from a Trump win.
Starting point is 00:07:05 They're positioning what they think is going to do well. This is actually a very interesting story I want to read to you guys, especially the business guys and gals. Early vote totals indicate Trump's going to be the president on election day. Veteran political journal says from New York Post, and then we got Bill Ackman said a couple of things, and then Trump, what is that one thing I need, the kind of a general, that's what? Let's do it with generals that Hitler, right? And everybody's reacting to it. Anyways, we got a lot to cover with you. Let me tell you what's going on right now so everybody knows.
Starting point is 00:07:34 The big game starts this Friday. The series starts this Friday. And here's what I wanted to do. I wanted to get a suite to take family and friends and to give you the chance to join me as well as us here, my family and other friends in the suite for game five in New York which is amazing, right? Yes. Absolutely amazing. And here's what we're gonna be doing. By the way, just so you know, the details on what these things are going for right now, it's ridiculous, the tickets.
Starting point is 00:08:11 But all I'm saying is, we sat down, we decided, here's what I wanna do. So what do we do about it? We created a sweepstake. And the winner gets the one ticket plus $2,500 cash for your flight room, whatever you need to be doing to come join. By the way, it's gonna be epic. Because it's gonna be sick. It is game five, so who knows what's gonna be taking place. The streets of New York are gonna be wild.

Okay, Rob, so let's put the link there to go to VT merch calm I hope I hope you participate. I want to spend some time with you. We're gonna have a good time Anyways, alright, let's get into the story here. Which story do you want? You know what?
Starting point is 00:11:09 I wanna start off with this town hall. Rob, do you have any of the highlights of last night's town hall? So last night, she decides to go and do a town hall. By the way, kudos to her for doing it, right? Because she needs to do it. Everybody is talking about the fact that she's not out there, but she goes out there Rob
Starting point is 00:11:26 I don't know which one this is is this the one about the wall. Yes about the board That's the one I want I want you to watch this year with the border on how Anderson Cooper pushes her go ahead 2022 2023 there were record border crossings You your administration took a, hundreds of executive actions. It didn't stem the flow. Numbers kept going up. Finally, in 2024, just in June, three weeks before the first presidential debate with Joe Biden, you instilled executive actions that had a dramatic impact, really shut down
Starting point is 00:12:00 people crossing over. Why didn't your administration do that in 2022, 202323? First of all, you're exactly right Anderson, and as of today we have cut the flow of immigration by over half. In fact, the numbers I saw most recently illegal immigration. But if it was that easy with that executive action, why not do it in 2022-2023? Because we were working with Congress and hoping that actually we could have a long-term fix to the problem instead of a short-term fix. You couldn't have done one and the both at the same time? Well, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:12:28 We have to understand that ultimately this problem is going to be fixed through congressional action. Miller Lite, the light beer brewed for people who love the taste of beer and the perfect pairing for your game time. When Miller Lite set out to brew a light beer, they had to choose great taste or 90 calories per can. They chose both because they knew the best part of beer is the beer. Your game time tastes like Miller time.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Learn more at MillerLite.ca. Must be legal drinking age. This winter, take a trip to Tampa on Porter Airlines. Enjoy the warm Tampa Bay temperatures and warm Porter hospitality on your way there. All Porter Fairs include beer, wine, and snacks, and free fast-streaming Wi-Fi on planes with no middle seats.
Starting point is 00:13:24 And your Tampa Bay vacation includes good times, relaxation and great Gulf Coast weather. Visit flyporter.com and actually enjoy economy. You know, it's amazing when you listen to her. You're like, you're, and he interrupts. You know why people are starting to interrupt as much as they do? Because even Van Jones says,
Starting point is 00:13:47 this gibberish answers are starting to get annoying. It's way too much. Yeah, the word salad is just starting to get annoying. Give a damn answer. Rob, do you have another clip outside of this one? Do you have the David Axelrod response where he said word salad? So I have a word salad clip and then we'll play
Starting point is 00:14:05 David Axelrod. Oh, go ahead. You know wait ready for lunch For four years you were vice president not the president, but why wasn't any of that done the last four years? Well, there was a lot that was done But there's more to do Anderson and and I'm pointing out things that need to be done that haven't been done But need to be done. She just said been done, but need to be done. She just said done five times. Hold on, was that an edited funny clip? No, no, she's actually being serious.
Starting point is 00:14:29 She said that. Actually, let's listen to that answer one more time, Rob. I'm actually inspired by it. Can you play that one more time? Wow. I thought you guys did a funny clip. No, play that one more time. Some voters might ask,
Starting point is 00:14:40 you've been in the White House for four years, you were vice president, not the president, but why wasn't any of that done the last four years? Well, there was a lot that was done But there's more to do Anderson and and I'm pointing out things that need to be done that haven't been done But need to be done what? Wow, it's like the movie when she's like, I'm just gonna make it do what it do baby. Yeah, what is you know? This is here it comes. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:15:05 I love this. The things that would concern me is when she doesn't want to answer a question, her habit is to kind of go to word salad city and she did that on a couple of answers. One was on Israel. Anderson asked a direct question, would you be stronger on Israel than Trump? And there was a seven minute answer, but none of it related to the question he was asking. And so on certain questions like that, on immigration,
Starting point is 00:15:33 I thought she missed an opportunity because she would acknowledge no concerns about any of the administration's policies. And that's a mistake. Sometimes you have to concede things, and she didn't concede much. But I'll tell you something. John King mentioned Bill Clinton. No one's going to be Bill Clinton, but you do want to relate to the people in front of
Starting point is 00:15:55 you. She didn't do a lot of that. She didn't ask them questions. She didn't address them particularly. So she was giving set pieces too much Tom there you go. Well, first of all, there were three mistakes that that she made The first was she was talking the second mistake that she made is she didn't have specific things to say and the third Mistake that apparently they made they've been controlling the mainstream media and they've been controlling the narrative. For instance, last weekend, do you remember when every news outlet,
Starting point is 00:16:29 somehow all their editors used the word testy in every single headline or subhead about, with her. Testy, testy, testy, testy. It was almost that they got the, remember the word of the day is testy. And so the media is testy and so The media is not locked in on here And if you listen to David Axelrod said you listen to multiple media it's almost like there's there's whispers out there that people are thinking that this election is slipping away right now and
Starting point is 00:16:58 everybody is sort of running toward objectivity so that later they They can get jobs at the midterm election as election analysts and strategists. People have to remember, people like Axelrod Pat, they want big money jobs in 2022 for midterm elections. 2022 or 2026? 2026, I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, because 2022 is last midterm. The same way they did in 2022, sorry about that.
Starting point is 00:17:23 That's what they want, they want those jobs. So how do you get a job by being infinitely wrong here and defending her and going off the cliff with her because she's not a senator anymore waltz they're gone if when they lose and I'm saying when they lose they go to the same heaven that the dinosaurs went to it's over for them politically you'll never see them again but all these people that have been strategists and folks They need to they they need a job in 2026 And so you can't get a job if you had zero objectivity and I'm seeing objectivity come out with Anderson Cooper
Starting point is 00:17:54 I'm seeing objectivity coming out David Axelrod. I'm seeing objectivity coming out with Paul if complete objectivity No, but are you seeing the same blind support that they had in August 1st? Hell no. Let me ask you this though Tom. For somebody to answer like this, let's just say I'm your campaign strategist, okay, behind closed doors. And Trump said something when I had him on the podcast. He said, you know, I could have chosen not to go to the Bloomberg event, one, and then
Starting point is 00:18:21 the market would have said he's scared. I could have chosen to get killed and go and I would have gotten killed and I would have lost, or I could have actually chose to go and fight, and I chose to go and fight, right? But even his answer means what? That sometimes you're going to lose when you go to a certain debate. Nobody is undefeated ever in the history of debates. Nobody. Or it's a weird or bad form. Obama's not undefeated. Nobody is undefeated, right? But here's the point. The point I'm trying to make to you is, there is something about people giving you feedback and role playing the way to answer questions.
Starting point is 00:18:55 Do you think that's her? Or do you think that's her handler saying, answer it this way? I think 20 years of her political history have proven that regardless of who her strategist is She is not particularly adept at the ad hoc or extemporaneous talk She's not she doesn't pull things out to hit home runs. There's been accusations that she's had an earpiece in her ear There's a lot of things that have happened here that she just is not it and I think it's her
Starting point is 00:19:25 Whereas Bill Clinton if you gave him three facts, he would give you a Answer that related to the people he would roll in those facts and you gave Reagan three facts an answer that related to the people And he would roll in the facts. There are strategists back there that are giving her facts, but she's she's just not doing it Yeah, the rap play this clip and then I'm gonna go to Vinny play this next clip watch this one here folks There are strategists back there that are giving her facts, but she's just not doing it. Yeah. Rob, play this clip and then I'm going to go to Vinnie. Play this next clip. Watch this one here, folks. This is about have you ever made any mistakes?
Starting point is 00:19:51 Is there something you can point to in your life, political life or in your life in the last four years that you think is a mistake that you have learned from? I mean, I've made many mistakes. They range from, you know, if you've ever parented a child, you know you make lots of mistakes. You don't have to. In my role as vice president, I mean, I've probably worked very hard at making sure that I am well versed on issues, and I think that is very important. It's a mistake not to be well versed on an issue and feel compelled to answer a
Starting point is 00:20:31 question. Is there something you... What was the answer? I don't know. There actually wasn't an answer. It's like what did you make substance? It doesn't make but here's the thing. Let me ask you guys a question. And I know we're not surprised but I don't like the fact that van Jones Tom and all these people are surprised. Okay of Kamala Harris Let's not forget how we got here. Okay, we got here because the assassination attempt on Trump failed Okay, he he killed Biden the debate. The plan was get Trump out Biden just even though after the debate. Allegedly.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Allegedly, of course, allegedly. I mean, yeah, if this was a movie, that would have been the plan failed. So now she just has to get put up there, okay? And then when she talked about the border and how it's so, you know, now it's closed. Yeah, because you already got the 20 million in that you need, so we shut that down.
Starting point is 00:21:24 But I love the fact that they have to pretend, Pat. They have to, the Democrats have gotten to pretend that they like her. They have to pretend like she's had policies. They have to pretend that they like her. Let's be honest, guys, if I was still drinking, Pat, I'd drink with her. I'd have a good time, but no, I'm being that serious. She seems like a fun, the laughing would get to me, but I mean, it's at the point where the jig is up. He has to do these questions, Pat, with Anderson Cooper, Tom.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Their reputation is on the line at this point. You just used a great word. The word is pretend. And you're correct with all of those. I completely line up with the Angry Patriot on this. They pretended, pretended, pretended. And now Van Jones has to publicly pretend he's surprised. Now they have to pretend they're surprised.
Starting point is 00:22:10 Oh my gosh, I didn't know. You know, you know, let's see, bottle of tequila, George Clooney, USC cheerleader. There's only one outcome. They knew exactly what was going on here. They knew exactly where it was as soon as she got out at public and started talking about it Because they were talked into believing that there is a viable candidate there Do you remember it took two and a half weeks to declare who the candidate was gonna be? Yeah. Yeah, and finally they said well Okay, it's gonna be Kamala Harris. It's gonna be Kamala Harris
Starting point is 00:22:39 Yeah, and then and then when it was out in public you you saw cracks in the underneath because they tried to cover the cracks in the foundation. What did they do for 28 days? She didn't, how many days was it that she didn't have an interview? And she had 98% positive press from the media. And so everyone, and then at the end of it, what did the media start doing? Hey, you know, she hasn't done an interview, where's the interview? And they were called out, and now Van Jones has to publicly pretend he's surprised.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Exactly. Did you see the clip? I did not see the one last night, but I've seen the one from a week ago. Rob, latest clip and I wanna go. Oh my, oh gosh, wow. So here's a clip of Van Jones. This is, I think it's right after last night's town hall. Go ahead. She was a co-host.
Starting point is 00:23:27 I think that the word salad stuff gets on my nerves. I think that some of the evasions are not necessary. But when she's talking about trying to get you a house, I believe her. I believe her. Adam, do you believe she wants you to finally get a house? Adam, do you believe she wants you to finally get a house? Sure. Whatever, whatever. I think, look, we're 12 days from an election in my humble opinion. The future is looking very bright for Donald J. Trump.
Starting point is 00:23:55 And there's a few words that come to mind. And one of the words that comes to mind, PBD, I don't know if you know this word, you know, because English is your sixth language, but there's a word called juxtaposition, You know what that means? Juxtaposition is when you compare and contrast two separate entities and you say, take a look at this, take a look at this, right? And you put it kind of contrast them close together. When Trump was compared to Obama from a personality and character perspective, it was quite shocking. You had Obama, forget about policies from a character personality perspective. You look at Obama, smooth, great talker.
Starting point is 00:24:27 It's like, Whoa, here's this guy that comes in. But Trump wasn't basically, you know, beckoned to come to run for president because he was a typical politician is because he was a literal disruptor who basically was a middle finger to the system. So that's what Trump is. disruptor who basically was a middle finger to the system. So that's what Trump is. Conversely, when you juxtapose Trump versus a Biden or a Kamala, you start to think that they now become way more inept. And Tom kind of made a joke that, you know, she's wrong when she's talking. But the reality is, he's right. The more she talks and the more that America gets to know her,
Starting point is 00:25:03 the worse her poll numbers are. It's pretty intense. And the fact that America gets to know her, the worse her poll numbers are. It's pretty intense. And the fact that she had this sugar high, the reality is after the sugar high, if you eat too much sugar, you start to develop cavities. And America is developing cavities, the more the more she talks. So they're like, Hey, listen, maybe you should eat some salad. Unfortunately, there's a lot too much word salad coming out of her mouth.
Starting point is 00:25:22 But this is unfortunately, this may be a little controversial. The result of genuinely going with a DEI candidate, not an MEI merit excellence intelligence candidate. And now, when you start to see Van Jones even criticizing her, David Axelrod criticizing her, Dana Bash criticizing her, CNN's finest. When you're 10, 12 days away from election, when everybody should be unifying behind their candidate, and they're basically talking trash, you know the future is not looking bright for common heirs. But that's all on them. Then they should have done, because Biden got what, 14 million votes? That whole switcheroo that they did, that's what they deserve. And you saw Biden at the funeral at a Kennedy's funeral where he's talking to Obama and he's
Starting point is 00:26:09 looking mad at him and he's like, I'm stronger than her. Biden, by the way, it would have been way closer because even though Biden, you don't think so. Wait, are you crazy? They would have kept them away from the media. What do you mean? They were protecting him for four years. If it was Biden after that debate performance with his mental, just complete decline.
Starting point is 00:26:28 You really better than her? Hold on. He wouldn't be better than her right now? Right now you don't think he'd be closer? I'm not advocating for calm. No, I know you're not. They had no chance. Both of you guys, both of you guys. Go back to your point, Adam. Let me just say a thing. Word stock number scream from July 1st to July 21st. That was the day of the debate, right?
Starting point is 00:26:44 For a number of skyrocketed says Trump had one of the greatest momentum roles in in opponent candidate not incumbent candidate and opponent candidate history and then when Biden went out for the The the poll there to meet the debate then the polls went over the waterfall. It was moving like this You saw states moving remember we're all talking about this Yeah, and then he goes out to that debate and what happens it goes all over the waterfall. It was moving like this. You saw states moving. Remember, we're all talking about this. And then he goes out to that debate, and what happens? It goes all over the waterfall. And so those numbers were horrifying, and they knew it.
Starting point is 00:27:13 But I wanna show you something. Rob, I wanna show you something. Do you have the link I sent you? Okay, this is very, very telling data, CNN. This guy does a great job, by the way. Harry Enton? He talks about the independent vote. Watch this.
Starting point is 00:27:29 Rob, please, it's 27 seconds, watch this. Center of the electorate, you go last time around, Joe Biden won these voters by 11 points. You look at September of 2024, a month ago, Kamala Harris was up five points among independents. Watch this. You look now though, look at this. That's it, well watch this, watch what happens. She's only up by two points among a key block, Kamala Harris was up five points. Independence. Watch this. You look now though.
Starting point is 00:27:45 Look at this. That's it. Watch this. Watch what happens. She's only up by two points among a key block center of the electorate down nine points where we're from Biden was at the end of the 2020 campaign. Insane. Watch this next thing she's doing.
Starting point is 00:27:54 This is a national picture. One more. This is a national picture. And he's going to show the 15. What is going on in those key battleground states? Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, the Great Lakes. That blue wall, right? Joe Biden last time around won him by five points
Starting point is 00:28:05 over Donald Trump. Look at where we are today. This is the type of movement Donald Trump likes to see in the center of the electorate up by a point. Now, of course, that's well within any margin of error, right? But again, it's the movement. It's the trends, Mr. Berman, that we're looking at. And when you flip a group from going plus five Biden
Starting point is 00:28:23 to now plus one Trump, that's the type of movement Donald Trump loves to see. And it's a type of movement that I think gives Democrats some agitator. You saw it nationally. You see it in the Blue Wall states there. What do we know about candidates who have won or lost independence in the past? Yeah. Are independence determinative of who wins the election? Usually the way independence goes, so goes the nation. So candidates who won independence in elections since 1952, look at this, won independence,
Starting point is 00:28:52 won the election 15, lost the election despite winning independence, just three. So it is possible to lose independence and win the election, but the bottom line is that's only happened three times. It was Nixon in 68, it was Ford in 76, and it was Kerry in 2004. Normally when you win independence, John, it's a very good sign for your chances to win the election. Do you have any sense among the people who are identifying as independents now, what
Starting point is 00:29:17 they're saying or how they're feeling or why we're seeing this? Yeah, why are we seeing this movement in the electorate, perhaps away from the Democrats, towards Donald Trump? And this is true overall. This is true among independents as well. That's embarrassing. View is too liberal, right? Are you out of the mainstream, perhaps?
Starting point is 00:29:35 38% said that of Joe Biden back in 2020. Now that number is up to 48% for Kamala Harris versus the 40% or so who see Trump is too conservative. The bottom line is Harris may be a little bit too out of the mainstream, at least compared to Donald Trump when we're talking ideologically speaking. Look at the trends. That is the worst clip to be seen or shown on CNN. 13 days before the election. That's 13 days before the election That's like they're all days
Starting point is 00:30:05 They've had this stuff on many of the pollsters like ABC will sponsor polls with Washington Post and then they will sit on those Polls for seven days while they're running another poll Hoping that the next poll shows her getting a little momentum versus the old poll and they're sitting on it This what there's no time to sit that the gig is up and they're out public with it PBD He's speaking to you. I respect this guy. Yeah. No, no, I understand.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Tom, how much has changed on... Rob, can you go to vtnews.ai? Folks, you can yourself on your computer go to vtnews.ai and check this throughout the day. Every time it updates, it updates on our website and just go to the right where it says elections, right there. Zoom in. So right now, even Steven, but go to the right where it says elections right there zoom in so right now even Stephen but go to the battleground. By the way the national base we're showing in the last averages is tied normally the Democrats win the
Starting point is 00:30:53 popular vote. Two points. Exactly right. So go to battleground go to Arizona still the same Wall Street Journal's got Harris go to Georgia see if anything's changed sweep go to Michigan. Georgia's gotten redder go back to Georgia. I got redder exactly. And by the way look at the collection insider advantage liberal poll Quinnipiac liberal poll Emerson liberal poll Trafalgar very accurate and ten Staline right. Go to Michigan. Okay go to Nevada go to Carolina. Dude he's winning all of them? Go to Carolina? Dude, he's winning all of them. Go to Pennsylvania?
Starting point is 00:31:28 What? Go to Wisconsin? Let's go, baby. Everything is within the margin of error and Wisconsin and Michigan are hanging by a thread on the margin of error, but they shouldn't even be close with those unions and the typical voting block. By the way, on election night, which by the way, the super VIP tickets sold out, the elite tickets sold out, there's a few left for VIP and a premium before those sold out and then
Starting point is 00:31:51 there's just the general. But there's going to be seven food trucks here, Chick-fil-A is going to be here, we're going to have two fighter jets on the freaking campus. I love it. It's going to be sick. I'm going to fly one of them. There are so many surprises for election night, which I cannot wait. But think about it this way.
Starting point is 00:32:03 On election night, Tom, we're gonna have the decision, we're gonna have the decision desk with Tom that's gonna show you by the second what's gonna happen to, he showed it to you yesterday. How sick was it? Tom Kornacki over here is about to kill the game. It's gonna be incredible. It's gonna be fun, but the point is that there,
Starting point is 00:32:20 if based on what you were saying yesterday, if Trump wins Georgia and Pennsylvania, this thing is over by 8 p.m. I will tell you this, and by the way, Pat, thank you for making it. Pat, just like VT News AI, you heard about the 50 AI engineers and the machine learning engineers that we got, PBD, thank you for making the investment
Starting point is 00:32:39 because you're giving me the tool to go even further than we've been doing with our Decision 2024 every Thursday that's here on Valuetainment. We are going to be able to give you stats that I'm gonna argue better and faster than the mainstream channels, and we're gonna be talking about it, where you'll be able to see the podcast going for six hours,
Starting point is 00:33:01 and we're giving you state calls, data in the background, the stuff you want. And by the way, unlike the news, you'll be able to do super chats and tell us what you want to see. And PBD may see one of those super chats and said, you know what, let's dive into that data. Let's go to Iowa. And can I thank him really fast too, Pat?
Starting point is 00:33:20 Thank you for having me at Valuetainment because right now the support that I'm doing towards Trump and outspoken, I couldn't do in LA, I was shunned by everybody, I had to be like, I had to like hide and hide my support, I couldn't go to certain comedy shows. None of that happened. Here, I could do whatever I want, I could say, and notice how the shift that the people now, people that could never have spoken up and said, yeah, I support this guy. Now it's out in the open because you can't hide it more and I appreciate you for having me here, because now it's a wrap because
Starting point is 00:33:46 he's winning everywhere right now. So unless something crazy happens, October surprise, Donald Trump's going to be the next president. Real quick and fully agree with it with the thank yous and honor the biz doc words, talk, numbers scream. People are saying everyone's saying that Trump is going to win this election. And it's not just the average people out there on the streets. It's not just the black guys who are not breaking for Kamala. It's not just the liberals who are basically over the woke stuff and the moderates and the independents.
Starting point is 00:34:17 It's Wall Street. It's the pollsters. It's the big banks. It's people on CNN. And my question to my friends out there, the blue no matter who crowd is, what are you guys going to do if and when Trump gets elected? We all saw what happened in 2016. What the? We all saw that. So I just kind of want to give my friends a heads up.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Start preparing yourself for that. It's not going to be the same as 2016. I agree. But let me say one last thing. Here's what I've experienced. You talk about this Vinny, because people know seen my evolution. I want to go to the next story. So go for it. People have seen my evolution and they're like, oh my God, here's what I've experienced. Random people who I don't know on the internet talking trash about me because I'm I don't know on the internet talking trash about me because I'm at least perceived as two, to the left. I don't know these people. I don't really care. Twitter finger is all you want. What I've also experienced is people I know that I've known my whole life that I've been friends with my whole life out of the last six months are like, who in the hell
Starting point is 00:35:21 have you become? You're just part of this cult now, right? I don't even know you anymore. Here's the reality. I'm the same moderate reasonable person who's looking at, again, juxtaposition candidates and saying, almost like being an umpire balls and strikes. I don't like that. I don't like that. Agree with that. Agree with this. And the reality is if you're the blue, no matter who crowd and you can't even wrap your head around home, my God, how they're voting for this guy, it's going to happen. And just start preparing for that and start asking questions rather than telling people how they should operate.
Starting point is 00:35:56 And that's the biggest thing I see. Yeah, I think the difference between 2024 and 2016 is the following. It's very different. 2016 nobody including the Trump family thought they were going to win. They worked hard with the plan of winning but everywhere on every poll on every Vegas everything was she's winning by landslide and then he won and so the irritation, the fear, the anxiety was so high. 2024, it's not gonna be that way. I actually think, when I tell you, typically when you do business planning,
Starting point is 00:36:31 most people wait till last week of December and they do some new year resolution bullshit, but the real people start a quarter before, two quarters before for next year, budgeting all this other stuff. The guys that know the game like Van Jones, the guys that are in it, in their mind, their 80% were done.
Starting point is 00:36:48 This scroll is not good. I'm being asked at Mar-a-Lago, what was it, two nights ago, whatever the event was, by all these other journalists and whatever they're asking, I say listen, if there was a primary, Kamala Harris would have lost to Josh Shapiro, she would have lost to Pritzker,
Starting point is 00:37:04 she would have lost to Whitmer, she would have lost to Josh Shapiro. She would have lost to Pritzker. She would have lost to Whitmer. She would have lost to Newsom. All of those four are better candidates for the Democratic Party than she is. She is a horrible candidate to be a president. Not personal life, I've never broke bread. Boring, repetitive, not inspirational, tough to listen to, incredibly difficult laugh. There's just way too many things that's not attractive, that's not marketable about her.
Starting point is 00:37:34 And they're paying a price for it right now. And she didn't get out around one of the primaries when she did run. No, she did not. She got her ass handed to her after first round. So by the way, let's go into the business because you're talking business, right? Wall Street pros get into position to profit from a Trump win. So Wall Street sitting around saying, okay guys, what are we going to do when this guy wins?
Starting point is 00:37:56 Here's what's going on. Hedge funds like Dan Loeb's third point, $11 billion asset under management, Mark Dowling's RBC Blue Bay, $130 billion of assets under management are just in portfolios in anticipation of a Trump win. Loeb's firm has increased positions in domestic manufacturing. Watch this, why domestic manufacturing and commodities because Trump's going to bring everything here. Seeing Trump's proposed tariffs on 10 or 20% on imports as a boost to domestic productivity while Dowding is
Starting point is 00:38:27 betting on a stronger dollar and a steeper yield curve as inflation break-evens widen. Due to Trump's policies, assets tied to a Trump win are seeing sharp gains. CEO Group, a private prison operator, is up 21% in October, while Bitcoin Miner Ride platforms rose 34%. Themos, Feuotakis, Barclays attributes recent declines in Chinese yuan and Mexican peso to Trump's momentum, with potential 200% tariffs on Mexican vehicles weighing on the peso. Tom? Well, guess what?
Starting point is 00:39:04 Every time there's a headline, a good fund manager is gonna make a difference in the portfolio. Headline, Trump could win. Or if you see headline, airlines are seeing an uptick in reservations. Maybe you buy an airline index, because you think, wow know people are traveling this summer
Starting point is 00:39:25 I'm gonna I'm gonna do well by buying some airline stocks. What's happening here is There you just have to look at what kind of an economic Sunshine or economic storm is Trump gonna bring he's gonna bring sunshine to domestic manufacturing So people are buying indexes with American manufacturers, everything from washing machines to motorcycles. Harley Davidson looking at you. And then the nuclear stock index is up. Now why is that?
Starting point is 00:39:54 Because AI needs more nukes. And Donald Trump is not going to stand in the way of those nukes that people like, oh, you know, green companies that have been green for 50 years like Microsoft, not. But they want nuclear Google wants nuclear Trump is gonna let that go through and then foreign currencies because remember you can buy commodities like you can buy foreign currencies and trade foreign currencies and the Chinese currency and the Mexican currency fewer futures are down a little bit, huh? Could it be tariffs?
Starting point is 00:40:24 There you go. And so what everybody is looking at is where is the sunshine gonna come from Donald Trump economically? I'm buying those stocks and I'm making those investments and that's what the Wall Street professionals are getting ready to do. And they are also staring clear from foreign commodities or other things that are gonna to represent, maybe going to have a little bit of rain on the parade. But that's what's going on. Nice. Adam.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Well, I mean, sometimes you just have to look at the actual words when you're saying America first. And when you're saying make America great again, you have to ask yourself, is that actually what Trump believes in? I would say that's obviously what he believes in. So, you know, you did an amazing episode. I think it came out yesterday, maybe two days ago about why Trump loves tariffs. And quite candidly, I didn't fully understand the tariffs and making China pay and free trade versus fair trade and the WTO and the world trade organization. And NAFTA like these are things that you actually have to learn and unpack. But when Trump did the interview with PBD over here and he goes, you know, my favorite
Starting point is 00:41:31 word, it's not love, it's tariffs. Tariffs is what a beautiful word. People don't understand. And I've been unpacking. What does this mean? Why does he love tariffs so much? But at the end of the day, it comes down to, you said domestic, right? Protecting American jobs, reducing trade deficits, which we're getting crushed by China, we know that encouraging fair trade, not just free trade, rebuilding
Starting point is 00:41:53 the manufacturing, why do you think people in the Rust Belt and the blue wall part of the world are like, ah, I don't know that all our jobs have left national security, the border. This is all part of America first, dare I say MAGA. national security, the border, this is all part of America first, dare I say, MAGA. So it's all part of what Trump believes in and follow the money and if we can keep the money in America I think that's a great thing. Let me tell you one of the things that we did, we sat down with myself and Brandon, we talked about tariffs, right? And do you know what's crazy when you think about tariffs? Here's
Starting point is 00:42:22 a couple things we found. Out of the top 15 steel companies in the world, okay, you've seen it so you can't answer, these guys haven't seen it, so I'll come to you guys. Out of the top 15 steel companies in the world, what city in America was known for steel? Pittsburgh? Pittsburgh, what's the team's name? The Steelers.
Starting point is 00:42:42 Do you know how many people we had in America working in the steel industry just 67 years ago? 700,000. You know what that number is today in America from 700,000? 140,000. 80% decline. Gone. Now watch this, by the way it's exactly 80%. Watch this here, watch this here. Do you know out of the top 15 steel companies in the world, top 15 steel companies in the world, how many are in the US? I want you to guess out of top 15 steel companies in the world. None?
Starting point is 00:43:15 How many? Zero? Zero. Zero. Do you know how many are out of China? Out of the top 15. 12. No.
Starting point is 00:43:23 Nine. Damn. Is all China. So let me ask you this question. They make shitty products, don't they? We took this business that we were dominating and we give it to China. Nine out of 15 is China's. And we're sitting here, we're supposed to follow
Starting point is 00:43:37 what this Mark Cuban guy is saying. Tariffs are bad and all this other stuff. Now watch this. You know what else we saw what we're going through this. We looked at the other part where the arguments being made and they say, well, Adam Smith, wealth of nations, he believes in free trade. He doesn't believe in tariffs, right?
Starting point is 00:43:53 He never said about tariffs. You know, tariffs are bad. It's a tax, it's inflation, it's a tax passed down to the customers, and that's what it is. Sometimes it is. But you know what he said? Here's what Adam Smith said.
Starting point is 00:44:04 He says, I don't believe in tariffs except for two occasions. You ready? He said, for defense of domestic industries essential to national security or counteracting tariffs imposed by other nations creating a level playing field. Let's look at the first one. What did he say?
Starting point is 00:44:24 Smith believes that tariffs should only be used in two instances's look at the first one. What did he say? Smith believes that tariffs should only be used in two instances. What's the first one? Defense of domestic industries essential to national security. Is there any of that going on in America today? Is any of the national security linked to China? Are those any of the challenges going on? So you can say, yes, Adam Smith, wealth of nations, believes in free trade and not in tariffs, but no, no, no, no, no, no, let's not talk about this one that Adam Smith believed that one of the two reasons is when it's a national threat, security, defense of domestic industries essential to national, no, no, this is happening today, that's why you need
Starting point is 00:44:59 the tariffs, so what he's doing is essential. And by the way, the part that most people have a hard time with when they sit down and talk about all of these tariffs, the way I try to explain it to my son that he can understand it is in the following way. If you're in sales, you're in real estate, have an insurance. We go to a Chamber of Commerce event. You've done this before, Tom, and you're networking. I say, Vinny, you're in real estate, I'm in insurance.
Starting point is 00:45:28 How about we exchange clients? You send me referrals that need help with insurance, I send you referrals with people that wanna buy what? A house. A house, okay. So six months later, you've given me 10 referrals, I've given you 50 referrals. Who's given who more referrals? I've given you 50 referrals. Who's given who more referrals?
Starting point is 00:45:46 I've given you 40 more, right? So your trade surplus is 40 referrals. My trade deficit is 40 referrals. Did you get the trade surplus and deficit? Now imagine, after five years, I've given you 1,100 more referrals than you've given me. How much longer are you going to go with giving me referrals? I have to renegotiate something.
Starting point is 00:46:13 What are you going to say to me though? What are you going to say? What would you say Tom? If you and I are exchanging referrals, you've given me 1100 more referrals than I've given you, what kind of conversation are we having? You know, when we started this off, there was a little difference between us, and I kind of thought it would level out over time, but over the last 10 years, I've given you a hell of a lot more than you've given me,
Starting point is 00:46:36 and I kind of expected this to level up, and you know what? We need to level it up. So what are you gonna do about it? I'm gonna do one of two things. I'm gonna look at the value of the trade Yeah, and maybe I'm gonna put a tax on you that levels the playing field. Perfect. And you're gonna stop giving me Referrals and I'm so I show you that I care about your business as much as you care about my percent
Starting point is 00:46:58 You know, I use the example 1100 Do you know what's the trade deficit America has worldwide with surplus? 11, 1.1 trillion. Each referral equals a billion. US's trade deficit is 1.1 trillion. Do you know what China's surplus is? $820 billion. China sat around getting fat by having everybody go through them and they're not giving nothing to you. They're stealing all your IP. They're doing everything you're doing and they're still expecting you to send more business to them.
Starting point is 00:47:36 Of course you're going to have this. By the way, the person that, you know all these people, we're going to talk about who he's about to hire. You know who I'm curious about who he's hiring? Let me tell you what job I'm curious about who he's hiring. Oh man, I would love to see who's gonna get this job. Tom, you and I would do this job with our eyes closed and it would be so much fun.
Starting point is 00:47:54 You ready for this? Let me read this to you. Hang on, I'm gonna find this and- While you're finding it, can I say one thing? Hang on one second for me before you go there. Here we go, watch this and I'll just turn it over to you. You ready? Watch this. You know how easy this would be, Tom?. Here we go, watch this. And I'll just turn it over to you. You ready? Watch this.
Starting point is 00:48:05 You know how easy this would be, Tom? We'd have a blast with this. So these are all the different trade agreements that we have. U.S. has 14 trade agreements, okay, with 20 countries. One is a United States, Mexico, Canada agreement. It was written in 1994 under Clinton. You know who renegotiated it?
Starting point is 00:48:24 NAFTA? No, that's not NAFTA. That's U. who renegotiated it? NAFTA? No, that's not NAFTA. That's US, Mexico, Canada agreement. NAFTA's coming up. So, actually it is NAFTA, you're right, 1994. That's, you know who renegotiated it? Trump, okay? The United States-Korea Free Trade Agreement, 2012 Obama.
Starting point is 00:48:39 You know who renegotiated it? Trump. The Central American Dominican Republic Free Trade Agreement. You know who the president was? Bush. No new negotiations. Australia US free trade agreement. Bush. No new negotiations. Bahrain US. 06 Bush. No renegotiations. Chile US. 04. Bush. No negotiations. Columbia US free trade, 2012 Obama, no new renegotiations. Israel US, 1985 Reagan, no major renegotiations. Jordan US, 01 Clinton, none.
Starting point is 00:49:13 Morocco US, 06 Bush, none. Oman US, 09 Bush, none. Panama US, 2012 Obama, none. Peru US, 09 Bush, none. Singapore US, 04 Bush none. It would be a phone call like this. It would say, hi, this is Patrick B. David and Thomas Ellsworth.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Hello guys. We would like to come visit you next week and the next two weeks and we want to have the following people, decision makers in the room. This is our trade agreement. We've looked at the surplus that we have and the deficit that we have. This will not be working for us moving forward and based on the business surplus that we have and the deficit that we have, this will not be working for us moving forward
Starting point is 00:49:46 and based on the business analysts that we have here, we ran the numbers. In order for it to level out, we have to impose a 78% tariff on you. But if you're willing to buy products from us, here's the industries that we would like you to buy products from. You can commit to buying $7 billion of products
Starting point is 00:50:05 a year from Ford, Chevrolet, that are, you can choose to spend $5 billion on this, you can choose to spend $3 billion, but in total, you need to buy from us $22 billion for this to be even, okay? And I understand you're not happy about it, we'll be there next week, please have the decision makers, we'll have our guys contact your guys
Starting point is 00:50:24 to get a time on the calendar. Great. Boom. We're coming down. We would renegotiate every one of those contracts. This is crazy when you're looking at this. You know what this is kind of like? This is like you come to a company and a guy's been using all these different engagements
Starting point is 00:50:38 with companies and they're overpaying. And someone comes in and says, hey guys, it's not going to fly. I'm paying you 80% more. Why are you charging me so much? I just ran three different comparisons to you. You're charging me $780,000 more than the competitors do. You're either going to bring me down $900,000 and I'll stay with you or I'm leaving you. What do you want to do?
Starting point is 00:50:57 A new CEO comes and renegotiates all those contracts. It's why so many people right now are sitting there saying, I'm going to invest into domestic companies because Trump's going to bring that business where to the States at such an important point. And it gets unfortunately so lost when you do the math, because everyone's focusing on the culture wars. You know, we were at Mar-a-Lago two nights ago, and it was an amazing movie. And one of the I took notes as you obviously encouraged us to do when we're going to talk about these things. And Donald Trump Jr. said something goes, look, he said some things that were tough, man. I get it. But were they
Starting point is 00:51:33 true and they were true. And that's the reality because we've all gone through this, at least me for, for by chance, Oh, Trump, he, all he does is complain. He's pleased the victim. He's this billionaire victim. But the reality is, you know, what's the opposite of a victim is being a victor. And he would say things like, excuse me, excuse me. You know, it's very unfair how they're treating us. It's very unfair. And all our leaders in Washington, they're suckers, they're losers. And it just sounds like he's complaining.
Starting point is 00:52:02 But the reality is, we've been losing for such a long time. We don't talk about the fact that we owe $37 trillion this year, 2023, 2024 budget. They did the fiscal year calendar. You know how much money were the deficit is in America from our federal budget? $1.5 trillion. That's Biden, Harris. So when you do the math, when you focus, you know, we know facts don't care about your feelings. If you're just focusing on feelings,
Starting point is 00:52:28 oh my God, I don't like the way that he's treating our partners and our trade organizations and NAFTA and NATO. I don't like how he's treating them. But the reality is these companies are taking advantage of us. And it took someone like this who has a middle finger to the system and says, I'm not playing this game anymore. So if you care about feelings, yes, it's kind of tough to swallow, but we're paying the price if we don't actually renegotiate these deals. All right, let's go to Nick.
Starting point is 00:52:52 Tom, go ahead. Sorry, just real quick. People think he's gonna take these tariffs and he's just gonna go tear-assing around the world and just destroy the world economy. He's not. But the threat of the tariffs is what breaks the back of the players that aren't playing fair.
Starting point is 00:53:08 The threat of the tariffs. Reagan did it to break communism. Did he ever use a nuclear weapon? No, but he put Pershing missiles all over Europe. And people thought he was just crazy enough to do it. And with you need strength and a little bit of crazy that gets the other side to say, you know what? Things have changed.
Starting point is 00:53:31 And that's exactly what we're gonna get. We're gonna get economic strength with just a little bit of perception that they think he's crazy, but we know he's crazy like a fox. And the world economy is gonna shift. Thanks for letting me add that. By the way
Starting point is 00:53:45 What was the job that potentially Elon Musk could be the sort of the fiscal? Accountability budget accountability does the other side fine waste and chop it off. You know how much waste we have in the government It's ridiculous. So someone needs to figure this out 20 dollars all the toilet Toilet bowl covers. Yeah, that's we're spending money on crap. Yeah, so by the way, meanwhile, story comes out. Trump, I need a kind of a general that Hitler had. Rob, if you want to play that clip and then Bill Ackman responds and there's a bunch of commentary here. So I don't actually have Donald Trump a clip of that, but I do have Kamala Harris and then we also have Kareem John Kerry. Okay, so then let me read the story and put one of those clips so we can react to. Trump, during a private conversation, said, I need the kind of generals that Hitler had referring to
Starting point is 00:54:25 the loyalty and obedience he expressed frustration that US generals were not loyal to him in the way former military officials including John Kelly confirmed that Trump admired dictators and frequently expressed his desire for absolute power with the military Kelly recalled Trump's preference for authoritarian leadership saying Trump's admires people who are dictators are and fits the profile of far-right authoritarian. Trump has repeatedly denied military service, calling fallen soldiers suckers and losers.
Starting point is 00:54:51 This is what story? Atlantic. He questioned why soldiers who were captured or killed in battle were praised saying, I like the people who weren't captured. Go ahead and play this clip on what their, this is their last shot at trying to hurt him. Go ahead, Rob. Donald Trump's former Chief of Staff John Kelly, a retired four-star general, confirmed that while Donald Trump was president, he said he wanted generals like Adolf Hitler
Starting point is 00:55:16 had. Donald Trump said that because he does not want a military that is loyal to the United States Constitution. He wants a military that is loyal to the United States Constitution. He wants a military that is loyal to him. He wants a military who will be loyal to him personally, one that will obey his orders even when he tells them to break the law or abandon their oath to the Constitution of the United States. In just the past week, Donald Trump has repeatedly called his fellow Americans the enemy from
Starting point is 00:55:49 within, and even said that he would use the United States military to go after American citizens. And let's be clear about who he considers to be the enemy from within. Anyone who refuses to bend a knee or dares to criticize him would qualify in his mind as the enemy within. Because she's just like the DJ, it's just the same thing. Go and play the other clip by Jerroch. That's the one. Go ahead. I am so dreading groceries this week. Why? You can skip it. Oh what, just like that? Just like that. to one. Go ahead. your own there. Could have skipped it, should have skipped it. Skip to the good part and get groceries, meals, and more delivered right to your door on skip. With Smartwater's pure crisp taste,
Starting point is 00:56:53 there's nothing to overthink. So while you may be spiraling over double texting your crush, whether your skincare routine is working because you look the same, or is doing nothing because you look the same, and whatever the heck red light therapy is. It's definitely not that. Don't overthink how you hydrate. Life's full of choices. Smart water is a simple one. Hitler is dangerous and it's also disgusting. So just to be clear, when you said we do agree, President Biden believes that Donald Trump
Starting point is 00:57:32 is a fascist. I mean, yes. What you've said, he said himself. The former president has said he is going to be a dictator on day one. We cannot ignore that. We cannot. And we cannot ignore or. We cannot. And we cannot ignore or forget what happened on January 6th. And we can't forget that you wore a pinstripe that was nine sizes too big.
Starting point is 00:57:55 But Pat, okay. Here is the clip just so we can play that. We talked about junk composition earlier. I think that's relevant here. The. Good. The issue though, because the media has been focused on this and attacking you under no circumstances. You are promising America tonight. You would never abuse power as retribution against anybody. Except for day one. Yeah. Except for?
Starting point is 00:58:17 He's going crazy. Except for day one. Meaning? I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill. That's not, that's not. That's not retribution. I got it. I'm going to be, I'm going to be, you know, he keeps, we love this guy. He says, you're not going to be a dictator, are you?
Starting point is 00:58:33 I said, no, no, no, other than day one. We're closing the border and we're drilling, drilling, drilling. After that, I'm not a dictator. That sounds to me like you're going back to the policies when you were president. That's exactly right. Okay, so. Go ahead, Ben. Okay, so, okay. Could we just start from, let's go back.
Starting point is 00:58:51 So John Kelly is saying all this stuff, right? He reported it, Tommy, because we talked about this before we came in. The Atlantic, which I'll get into the Atlantic in a minute, me and Tom have this conversation. So according to him, he said all this Hitler stuff. John Kelly has been reported that hates Trump. It's no secret. He fought, he was basically fired by Trump. In 2017, John Kelly, this general, he was, his first job was Trump administration was
Starting point is 00:59:13 the secretary of Homeland Security. All right. But he failed to disclose his position as the vice chair on the spectrum group, which is a defense contractor lobbying firm on his ethics form. So there goes his reputation. there goes his freaking his ethics. Then on April 19th, it was confirmed ready for this bet. He joined the board of directors for Caliburn International, a company that operates the largest shelter for unaccompanied migrant children in the United States.
Starting point is 00:59:39 Okay. Like think about that. This guy is literally runs these places. That's a shelter for unaccompanied minors. Now watch this. Caliburn International through a subsidiary of Comprehensive Health runs several shelters for migrant children. This decision drew public attention as Kelly had previously supported policies like family separation during his time with the Trump administration.
Starting point is 01:00:01 This place, Caliburn International, has been described as a private for-profit concentration camp. Okay, then last August, New York Post reported that the Biden-Harris administration lost how many kids, Pat? 320,000 migrant children with untold numbers of risk of sex trafficking and forced labor. So knowing that off all that information, one could assume, allegedly, that this Kelly wouldn't want Donald Trump to become the president because Trump wants a closed border. This guy, if you're that person, would want Kamala to, because Kamala's open border. If you have a facility that houses unaccompanied migrant children, why wouldn't you want an
Starting point is 01:00:42 open border? And now let me go to the Atlantic. You know who the owner of the Atlantic is? Lorene Powell Jobs, Steve Jobs' widow. She's a huge donor for Kamala Harris and a very close personal friend. And you know what I thought about this, made me think about? No wonder why when you had Trump here,
Starting point is 01:00:59 Trump said what he said about Tim Cook. He was like, you know what? If it wasn't for that guy, it wouldn't be successful because he knows the relationship with her. You catch what I'm saying? So now, ready for this? In 2021, the article from Commentary Magazine discussed how the Atlantic Pat, under leadership of Jeffrey Goldberg, Tom, he's the editor in chief, by the way, and this guy has said his Wikipedia, his parents are very left wing, not just a little bit. They adopted a focus on opposing Donald Trump, which became the central to its business model during his presidency. According to 2021, a report by Dylan Byers at NBC News, from March 2020 to January 2021,
Starting point is 01:01:38 the magazine was adding 30,000 subscribers a month, with more than 45,000 added in both June and July, a whopping 61,000 in September when it published the bombshell story of Trump having called soldiers who were killed in action losers and suckers by this same guy, by John Kelly. That story hit mainstream media September 3rd, 2020, one month before the election. Think about the timing. The same guy, same BS, he said she said crap. The Atlantic published a report by editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg,
Starting point is 01:02:10 another, he's a big Trump hater with TDS, who has described, like I said, his parents. So now, the piece also critiques how the Atlantic covered topics like COVID-19, democracy, social issues, suggesting that the magazine has shifted toward alarmism and snobbery, focusing heavily on Donald Trump even after his presidency ended. This is nothing, nothing but a hitch-hop, Tom. And somebody yesterday came at me, because we talked about this on the Unusuals Pat,
Starting point is 01:02:38 they're like, he's a patriot, how dare you? You could still be in the military or ex-military and still be a bad person that has nefarious intentions behind them. Look, there's politics in the military. Somebody's going to get appointed chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. And if you've ever read about that selection process, you've got four-star, five-star generals running political campaigns against each other because the one that wants the job. So let's start with Jeff Goldberg. Jeff Goldberg of the Atlantic. First, the Atlantic has become the megaphone of alarm, spin, and questionably bent facts. You even have liberal reporters coming out and saying things like, hey, easy does it, Jeff, easy does it. Because he's way out over the end.
Starting point is 01:03:28 I saw him referred to the, as the Alex Jones of liberal reporting. In other words, they see him as, you know, inflaming fans, inflaming, infanding the flames. So if you don't have any substance, what do you have to do? You have to yell louder, you have to do things. And you have to say Hitler, you have to say Project 2025. You have to say, you know,
Starting point is 01:03:50 inflame and blame, inflame and blame. When you have no policy and you have no candidate, you have a puppet. You have a puppet being presented by the marketing machine. Okay. So have you seen this picture? Have you seen this picture? No, is that, is that real? Is that, like that looks- Well, let me tell you, New York Times has a international, there's stories about pictures resurfacing that they never wanted to resurface. I don't know if this is true or not.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Have you seen this or no? I have seen it, I don't know the validity of it, I mean. You know, with so much Photoshop out there, you know, I, I wouldn't, I wouldn't play. If it's real, if it's real, it kind of draws a very, you, it connects the dots. Let me just do this. Why don't you go to this? This is international Rob.
Starting point is 01:04:39 If you can go to this article I'm going to send to you. Okay. This is a story to go through. It's, I just send send to you, okay? This is a story to go through. I just send it to you, ibtimes.uk, if you can pull that up, okay? Go to that story, all right, zooming. This is Internet, let's show what website it is. International Business Times.
Starting point is 01:04:57 International Business Times, okay? So Lauren Powell Jobs, net worth and her jaw drop in 70 million and 90 million dollar purchases. Do me a favor, Control X Maxwell, Control F Maxwell, yeah. Okay, watch this. Despite her activist image, Lauren faced criticism during the Jeffrey Epstein trials when the article in the Atlantic downplayed
Starting point is 01:05:16 child sex trafficking and the images of her with Jelaine Maxwell surfaced. This is 2019, 2020, 2021, so you're not talking about, you know. Photoshop, that's talking about real photos. Yeah, that's not Photoshop. You're talking about. I was being careful there,
Starting point is 01:05:33 but that says those pictures are real. Let's still be careful, but the point is like, you know, when you hear stories like this with people, you know, back and forth, a lot of it keeps coming back to. Isn't that weird? Yeah. I't even want to say it's weird, it's just one would assume or allegedly, like you're starting to piece together all these rich, powerful people with money. I mean, how rich is Jobs' wife, PBD? How rich is she? Oh, she's one, I think she's top five richest woman in the world.
Starting point is 01:06:03 And I keep going back to Elon making these comments about these rich billionaires that don't want secrets coming out because that's what Trump is going to be. And these are, besides all the other hit pieces that came out, especially with the effing Mexican, the bear, like think about what just happened in the past couple days, okay? The Hitler hoax is not getting traction because as we're spitting out out all the facts are coming out that it's all BS by the Atlantic the effing Mexican hoax backfired with the sister of the murdered soldier did you hear about that when that's a Guyan going on national TV calling Harris and the Atlantic out for polarizing her sister's that she tweeted right at Goldberg and
Starting point is 01:06:39 said how dare you how dare you publicize my sister's death because he was saying Trump said something like we're not gonna spend $60,000 to bury a effing Mexican all a lie. This is all he said. She said Tom just like all the member Colonel Vinman During the impeachment. What was it? What was the impeachment? Someone thought that they heard him say something to Zelinsky and that that that's that's grounds for an impeachment And then this is a nothing story. He puts on a uniform and is willing to say two sentences of any sort of thing that was remotely substance and the Democrats are now celebrating the military
Starting point is 01:07:12 and celebrating this brave man that's come before Congress, but he really didn't save much. But guess what? He gave them a kernel of something, no pun intended, for the military to go run with it. They use them. They use them.
Starting point is 01:07:27 And the worst thing is people in that position don't see how you're being used. Look, they've got nothing to say. There's no substance. There's no policy. There's nothing to say. And there's no pandemic. So they can't hide her in the basement the way they did Biden and then run, how's the economy going for you in the pandemic? And we're not Trump, not Trump, bad economy, pandemic, not Trump, bad
Starting point is 01:07:49 economy, pandemic. That's how Joe Biden won. They do not have that. All they have is, Oh God, I wish you wouldn't talk and Trump, bad Trump, bad Trump, bad Trump. Yep, exactly. Well, you know, you asked the original question of is Trump Hitler, right? So think about the shocking statement that that actually is. I mean, when you actually break it down. But by the way, be ready for these hit pieces and an onslaught of lies to basically come out there.
Starting point is 01:08:18 I actually think I'm uniquely qualified to have this discussion about general John Kelly, about Bill Ackman, what he said about Trump, about Trump himself being at Mar-a-Lago two days ago and what we experienced there. If I may, I had the opportunity to actually spend time with general John Kelly. I've told this story before because he was a speaker at PBD, the meeting that you and I met at, which is called Nalba. Right. So every year I go to this thing, by the way, I'll be there in a few weeks. It's always in November, right after the election.
Starting point is 01:08:52 And general John Kelly was the guest speaker at Nalba. And this was two years ago. This is, you know, height of chaos. What's going on COVID everything. house, what's going on COVID everything. And here is a former chief of staff general speaking, and he's speaking not so nice things about Trump. And I'm sitting there in a bar with my, with my buddy, Dave Grant, and he's been in the industry forever ends Mark, if you know that, of course. Yes. Cool. So I'm talking to this guy's got a thick Boston accent and this is in my, you know, TDS syndrome, part of the day.
Starting point is 01:09:26 I was like, I don't know how you can like this guy Trump. And he's like, what are you talking about? He's the best president we've ever had. What are you talking about? You know, and his thick Boston accent. I'm like, how could you say that? What's going on? We're arguing about Trump. And there's one other guy at the bar that's like, oh yeah, I can kind of give you a little feedback on this thing. And, and I go, oh my God, it's general John Kelly. It'd be like can kind of give you a little feedback on this thing and and I go oh my god It's general John Kelly. It'd be like the two of us having a conversation. You're like, hey, I'll give you some feedback and David Who's a bossing guy? By the way, he's a bossing guy John Kelly. Okay, Irish Catholic over here. He goes Yeah, I know I know I know Trump a little bit and we're like, hey, you're the you're the general John Kelly chief of staff
Starting point is 01:10:02 He's like, oh, yeah, you know Hey, can we buy you a drink? Yeah. Okay. I'll double vodka Okay, great. I think we ended up buying him like three or four vodkas. I'm like, let's get this talking Hmm, I said I said, um, yeah general Kelly. Can I ask you a few question? He goes? Yeah, I said what would you what's your Good would could you say about Trump because what good can I say about Trump? I can't think of one thing. Yeah, hater. I go whoa. I go clip that. And we start having a conversation with General John Kelly. And it's actually great because I'm learning this perspective when you get to speak with the chief of staff having double vacas over here at the now meeting over here. And I'm getting a little perspective. All right, great that I kind of table that
Starting point is 01:10:44 all right, wow, this guy really has nothing to say about Trump. But don't, you know, ask me, let me show you what I know. Two nights ago, we were at Mar-a-Lago. And it was the movie was this literally a little too. Dewey at Mar-a-Lago Would be an understatement. I bought a yarmulke. Yeah better Yeah, and the lady that was putting the event on do you remember the name Sigi? Yeah, Sigi Flicka. What was her name? Rob I believe Sigi Flicker. Yeah, exactly. Was, I mean, she was running the show here. So when I hear, yeah, there she is right there. Real Housewives of New Jersey, whatever. Great lady. Awesome time. So when you hear jokes, the post Trump's Hitler, but then all you see are Jewish advocates who are basically surrounding Trump at Mar-a-Lago. You're basically
Starting point is 01:11:42 saying, well, I can believe the fake news over here, or I could actually believe my own eyes and be like, well, he's surrounded by all these pro-Israel Jews. Now go to Bill Ackman. Why do we know Bill Ackman? Why do we talk about Bill Ackman so much on this show? It's because since October 7th, a lot of things have changed. And basically the Democratic Party has been exposed for basically aligning itself with,
Starting point is 01:12:04 as she said it, jihadists. She went on a speech, Rob, I think you were there, and she's like, they're inside the house. Jihadists are now running the country. And she basically said, they don't want to assimilate, they want to dominate, and they're here. And Donald Trump is the one candidate who will protect America and protect Israel and protect Judeo-Christian values and protect Western democracy. And I'm thinking, isn't he supposed to be Hitler? And that's what it goes to show you.
Starting point is 01:12:35 You can't believe what they're saying. Watch what they do. So here's my question though, really fast, Pat. I know you want to move on. So why is a Jewish guy, Jeffrey Goldberg, who left college to move to Israel where he served in the IDF, going behind this and calling somebody Hitler, being a Jewish person, to call somebody Hitler from what Hitler has done, I think is the most disrespectful and disgusting thing that you could do to your own race. For what? For political gain? Because you work for a crappy ass publication? That's
Starting point is 01:13:06 where I don't get it. Can I answer that? Yes, yes. But here's the thing, Adam. What you saw, those people and everybody happy and the Jewish people, people don't see that because they have to hear that nonsense from a... I don't like John Kelly. I have zero respect for him. I don't care what rank he is, what he's doing to the country and this whole he said she said BS is disgusting. It's ridiculous shame on him So I'm gonna just give you a quick stats right now, by the way This is about to be Trump's about to receive the largest percentage of the Jewish vote
Starting point is 01:13:35 Yeah, since 1980 Ronald Reagan. So just to kind of break down just like Being black is not a monolith just like being gay is not a monolith. You mean is not a monolith, just like being gay is not a monolith, being Jewish is not a monolith. On one hand you have the Adelsons donating billions of dollars to the Republican Party, and on one hand you have George Soros, a former Holocaust rounder-upper who's Jewish. I don't even think he's Jewish at this point. I think he's just like a demonic globalist.
Starting point is 01:14:02 So just because you're Jewish doesn't automatically mean you're gonna think a certain way. And that's all I'm saying is that for every Adelson you have a Soros, you have a Bill Ackman over here for every Lauren Powell job. So it doesn't work that way. Let's go to the next story here, a little bit of a light story. Who gets the TikTok and the divorce, the messy fight over valuable social media accounts? This is actually a Wall Street Journal story and this is a real story. They're going through a divorce, they share a TikTok account, who gets it? So watch this.
Starting point is 01:14:32 Kat Stickler gained control of the couple's TikTok account. Mike and Kat during the divorce arguing that if the TikTok account was left to me, it would keep growing. She was right. Rebranding the account to Kat Stickler and expanding it to 10 and a half million followers, Kat now runs a successful business from her social media
Starting point is 01:14:53 while Mike, who kept a YouTube account, saw it become defunct. He declined to comment, dividing social media accounts and divorce is as complicated as both partners must prove their contribution to the platform's success. Reza and Pujar Khan, who earned about $500,000 from social media said, this is the first time we're actually thinking about how to divide their assets
Starting point is 01:15:18 in case of a split with most of their earnings going into a joint account. Tom, how do you process the story? Well, guess what? It's called modern asset theory. And modern asset theory goes like this. Once upon a time, when we got divorced, we had children that we had to be responsible for,
Starting point is 01:15:36 and then we had some assets, maybe a couple cars and a house, and a little bit of savings account. Those were the assets people had. And then with the wealthier people, let's add several cars, another house, a boat, and some artwork. So, but now in the digital world we have,
Starting point is 01:15:52 then we had businesses, we had legitimate businesses. You know, I've supported you for 15 years as I built my plumbing business. If I'm having to give you half of it, we basically have to close the business. These things happened. Where somebody somebody said well wait a minute Honey, I supported you for 15 years or building that plumbing business I deserve half the value and so you would do it with you take the house and some cash
Starting point is 01:16:13 I'll keep my business and that's how you divide it now We're coming up to modern assets and it's not as easy as crypto. I can look at your crypto account I see what the dollar value is. Court says we split it. Now it's what if the assets are insufficient and you only have one digital business and it's TikTok. How do you split it? How do you value it? Does somebody have to get a loan and pay you for it or do you share it somehow? And it is a modern digital business that they're saying it's a messy fight because you can't, just like the plumbing business, you can't just give your wife two trucks
Starting point is 01:16:49 and then go run your plumbing business. Same thing here. It's very hard to split up. So under modern asset theory and division, now we have social media accounts that divorce lawyers gotta find some way to find the value and split it up. Pat, how would you do it? Sorry, Adam. He accounts that divorce lawyers got to find some way to find the value and split it up.
Starting point is 01:17:05 How would you, how would you do it? Sorry, Adam. So let's just say you and your what you and your significant other were on the thing. And the success of it is because let's say you were on it 80% of the time and she's kind of, but she's all doing all the back end. She's doing all the thumbnails, all the that's a difficult because yeah, you're kind of the face of it. But if she's doing the thumbnail, she's doing the title, she's doing the edits, all the, that's a difficult, because yeah, you're kind of the face of it, but if she's doing the thumbnail, she's doing the title,
Starting point is 01:17:26 she's doing the edits, she's doing everything, that's a slippery, slippery, what was that? I helped you build this and you're not gonna screw me. Yeah, yeah, exactly, because I mean, yes, he's the face. What was that real estate couple that they got a divorce, what was the show called? What was the show called? That ain't yours.
Starting point is 01:17:46 Let me see here. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Flip or flop? What was it that they said they were not gonna get a divorce and then they ended up wanting to get a divorce and then they said it's not in the discussion to get a divorce, has never been an option. Anyways, I mean, it's gotta be tough.
Starting point is 01:18:02 This is why if you're doing a podcast with your wife or your girl, man, you better be fully committed to it because if, God forbid, something happens and you guys split, that's gonna be problematic. But I guess it does make sense to have this be the discussion now with social. I can see that because essentially the way to look at it, Tom, you're running a small media company. Okay. And if she's involved or he's involved, sometimes she's the talent.
Starting point is 01:18:35 He's behind closed doors. How do you, you know, how do you make that work? But listen, apparently nowadays it is in the discussions. This is something that's going to happen more and more and more and people you alluded to this earlier. This is the tick tock modern day version of the mediation scene in wedding crashers where you know, Vince Vaughn Owen Wilson are basically having this negotiation. Hey, listen, we got the sky miles. You can throw a couple our way, you know, just please shut your mouth when you're talking to me. Go ahead and come with toast for me, baby. We all remember this scene and all of a sudden they start working out this mediation. He's like, all right, it's fine. You know, just please don't talk shut your mouth when you're talking to me. Go ahead and comatose for me, baby We all remember this scene and all of a sudden they start working out this mediation. He's like, alright, it's fine You can have the sky. I'm out. No, you could have it right there. All right now We're getting somewhere baby. Look at us doing our thing. But the reality is it's no longer gonna be about assets it's gonna be about digital assets and Unfortunately, if you don't figure this out mediationiation, you're going to have to go comatose over your tick tock. Well, maybe before you get divorced, you gotta
Starting point is 01:19:27 get married. So I don't understand how you even have an opinion here. Whoa, whoa, Tom out of nowhere. I don't know where Tom is just getting ready. Tom, you know, I was married at one point. Yeah. So he knows exactly. And by the way, we're the same age when you got married again So listen old man before I break your hit-bop barker. Just relax a second Okay, we're doing movie references over here Adam. We're having her fun. I'm having the time of my lifetime All right, let's go to the next one because if you get married most likely gonna buy home. However home sale Sales on track for the worst year since 95. This is WSJ. Look at that chart, Vinny.
Starting point is 01:20:07 Look at that chart right there, craziness. US home sales on track on the worst year since 95 due to high home prices and elevated mortgage rates. September sale fell another 1% from August to an annual rate of $3.84 million, the lowest since October of 2010, with a 3.5% drop compared to the same period last year. According to the National Association Realtors, Lawrence Young, NAR's chief economist, remarked that home sales are stuck at low levels and forecast that 2024 sales could match or fall below 2023 levels.
Starting point is 01:20:39 Persistently high mortgage rates, which recently spiked after briefly dipping to a two-year low, are deterring buyers. Michael Redd from Bridgewater, Bridgeway Mortgage and Real Estate Services noted that trickle up in rates to right back where we are just sucked up, sucked the air out, mortgage rates driven by a 10-year treasury note have been volatile, making home purchases more unaffordable, Tom.
Starting point is 01:21:03 Well, look, people are thinking that rates is the only thing connected to the market. And we talk about this, we say rates are going to help. But what rates usually help happen is more houses come on the market. Now a lot of houses have been built this year, Lenair, Toll Brothers, and you can go look at the more home builder indexes are way up this year.
Starting point is 01:21:23 So they're actually building more houses. They're just not building as many as are needed. We need even more, and with more supply, the price comes down, so that's the first lesson. With more supply, the price comes down, and the prices haven't come down. And Florida has had increases in insurance, home insurance down here, so the number of people,
Starting point is 01:21:44 we'll take back to it it again that are willing to sell Mom and pop want to sell their house in Parsippany, New Jersey and move down to Boynton Beach and retire they're like wait a minute We still have two hundred thousand dollars on a little mortgage if we go down there We're gonna have to pay actually the same for a house It used to be that you sold your house in precipiton II you downsized and bought something smaller and maybe even a small or no mortgage well now they're saying no we can't do it the math doesn't add up and we're gonna have a little bit more insurance
Starting point is 01:22:14 costs so guess what the prices haven't come down because the supply hasn't come down and the supply is being held up by insurance and property taxes and rent. So I've got a question for you. And so the banks got the rate cut, but then they also didn't get an increase in demand. So if you've got low demand, you would think that price would go down to spur it. But the banks have said, nope, you know what,
Starting point is 01:22:42 we're gonna leave the rate right here at six and a quarter Right here at six and a half. We're not going down to five not going to five eight seven five Which they were for about a week got a question for you. You're the president. Okay, you get elected you win What are two three four five markers? You have Tom to help this change so the average American can afford to buy a home? What are the markers? I've got two. You've got drill baby drill, and that reduces the price of everything from shipping on their groceries to the gas in their car,
Starting point is 01:23:18 to the fuel that heats their house, to the electricity they pay for their air conditioning. I make the United States an energy power because that is one button the president can push to get a lot of prices to come down. That's affordability. The second thing is I give a lot of incentives out to those home builders.
Starting point is 01:23:35 We need homes built. We need more homes built because the supply is going to come up. And then the other thing that I would do is I would adjust the tax policy on when you sell a house, you usually get one time in your life, you know what I'm talking about, Pat,
Starting point is 01:23:54 where you don't have to pay the capital gains. All the rest of the time, as long as you bought a house that was worth more, called the 1035 exchange, then you don't pay taxes on it. But I would give relief to incent the people that there are, and there is a lot of people in the Northeast that want to retire
Starting point is 01:24:14 to a lower cost state, and I would take some of the tax off of that one time sale so that they'd be more willing to sell and put those houses on the market. But we need more supply, and then you need to make life more affordable. I would also do something else is that for federal, I would have federal flood insurance revamped, because the catastrophic insurance is what is killing people in Florida. Basic home insurance has gone up, but it's nothing when you put the wind, the rain and everything else on it. And so you got to do
Starting point is 01:24:50 something about catastrophic insurance to help Americans. Well, so there's my three markers and buttons. I don't want to upset the realtors out there or the mortgage bankers out there. Here it comes in the buy house. But I would argue that this is probably one of the most overrated purchase decisions you can possibly make. Oh my god, how could I possibly say that? Well, as because we've done the math here a million times on the show. buying a home is a deeply emotional component could touch you could feel it you get it ready like your
Starting point is 01:25:19 family lives there. It's a lifestyle choice. But if you're just solving for math, and we've done this down by the best investment you can possibly make. The stock market actually doubles what real estate returns year over year over year, actually since COVID. This is the one time I think in the last 50 to a hundred years where real estate returns have actually been even close to double digits. If you remember us breaking down that math PBD.
Starting point is 01:25:42 Now I get it. There's a lifestyle decision. It's an emotional component. Like where are you going to live? Where. We're gonna send your kids to school. This is a big decision I mean Rob did Rob bought a house recently because he even said himself. I kind of didn't Mathematically do the thing financially didn't make sense But this was actually what my kids wanted to do and what my family wanted to do and it worked out well for my family But mathematically it didn't work well. There's three things that are working against if you're going to buy a house at this point and the numbers aren't in your favor. It's sort of
Starting point is 01:26:10 a triple Remy. It's the highest prices that houses have ever been. The highest mortgage rates have been since what the late eighties, early nineties. What's they just did an interest rate cut, but the mortgage rates went up. Is that what happened? Pat interest rates went up down for a moment and back to where they made no sense. the mortgage rates went up. Is that what happened, Pat? Interest rates went up, down for a moment and back to where they were. Made no sense. So mortgage rates are at seven and a quarter, whatever, at this point. But then we talk about this all the time. The insurance rates are insane these days, whether it's for car insurance, whether it's for home insurance. It's just the math isn't adding up. And listen, if you want to buy a house, God bless bless you go for it, but there are better investments out there
Starting point is 01:26:46 Well, we'll see what's gonna happen next Four years specifically after November 5th the markets gonna change majorly based on who's gonna be the president you're already seeing what Wall Street Journal hedge fund guys are looking at and November 5th will dictate what the next four years are gonna be economy-wise. Let's go to McDonald's. Rob, so President Trump's out there, you know, working the fries, doing his drive-through,
Starting point is 01:27:12 he's doing all this stuff, and then all of a sudden, next day, story pops out. McDonald's linked to E. coli outbreak, and the stock drops tremendously. McDonald's quarter pounder hamburgers have been linked to E. coli outbreak and the stock drops tremendously. McDonald's quarter pounder hamburgers have been linked to E. coli outbreak affecting ten states with 49 reported illness, ten hospitalizations, one death. The CDC is actively investigating the outbreak, calling it a fast-moving investigation as sick individuals reported eating quarter pounders.
Starting point is 01:27:38 McDonald's has temporarily pulled quarter pounders in some states as investigators work to identify the contaminated ingredient. Initial findings suggest the outbreak may be linked to slivered onions used in the burgers sourced from a... What? Seriously, that's the word.
Starting point is 01:27:55 Who brought onions, DVD? Slivered onions. Unbelievable. Who would do such a thing? But sourced from a single supplier serving three distribution centers, McDonald's, North American Chief Supply Chain, Cesar Pena stated the company is taking swift and decisive action
Starting point is 01:28:11 to address the situation and is cooperating fully with CDC investigating to ensure food safety. Do you have a video on this Rob? Vinny sent this last night. Go ahead and play this. Look at the states Pat, watch. I'll tell you about this. Developing today an E any coal I outbreak in
Starting point is 01:28:26 McDonald's stores across the country 49 people in 10 states have fallen sick. It was kind of to be hospitalized and at least one older person in Colorado has died McDonald's stock dropping as much as 10% in post market trading at one point Kelsey Kernstein joins me live from a McDonald's restaurant right here in Chicago Kelsey what does the latest evidence tell us. And the market so the latest evidence is really putting the
Starting point is 01:28:52 blame on the slivered onions on the quarter pounder here at McDonald's and this is happening across several states across the country and health leaders are really looking into why is this happening and where did it originate from. So take a look at this. Colorado has seen the most number of cases, but some other reported cases have been found
Starting point is 01:29:11 in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana. Vinny just wanted to see her face one more time. I just wanted to say that was actually exactly what. They lost $20 billion. 20 billion? Yeah, over this. Is it like, can I ask you, is the timing of this
Starting point is 01:29:25 really, really random? I don't think so. I think it's just happened. It just happened. I think it's just happened. I think it's just happened with this whole thing taking place. That's kind of random.
Starting point is 01:29:36 Yeah, I mean, listen, the skepticism and the paranoia and possibly some going on, less than 5%, I think this just took place. They're taking a hit. But guess what? I'm curious how the stock did. If you look at the stock, if you go to the stock, no go to month to date, just go to month to date Rob.
Starting point is 01:29:55 Look at month to date. It's going, going, going and then Trump shows up. Boom, goes up for a couple days, right? And then there is the E. coli, it drops, right? So I don't think there's a story here with that. I think this is what Tom would call not a Big Mac, not a whopper. What? Not a quarter pounder. She's burger. This is what you call a nothing burger. Nothing. I literally had that written down. This is by the way, go back to one year. Go
Starting point is 01:30:18 one year. I want to see one year in the stock, please. I bet you this is what you call, you know, you do you buy on bad news? I'm going to buy some. Just assume that McDonald's is going to keep going up, keep going up because they're trying very hard with value meals and other things to win back the consumers despite inflation. Yeah, by the way, go to the five year if you don't mind. I'm just saying, when's the last time you even heard about McDonald's this big until Trump was inside the drive-through doing his thing
Starting point is 01:30:46 And then what three days later? E coli from sliver. It's a 220 billion dollar company. Yeah, it's massive. Yeah, like i mean, it's just kind of I can see how you can see that but yeah, I mean well vini I know how anything that you see is like you're trying to stop I did not go there. I just, you know what I said? I said, excuse me. You starting to fire me.
Starting point is 01:31:08 You Tom have to get in there. Yeah, thanks, Tom. Buy on bad news. Yeah, buy the rumors, sell the news is what you're trying to say. Listen, let's establish just some basic ground rules here. First principles, number one, no onions, guys. We all know this.
Starting point is 01:31:21 Maybe the most important. That's probably the most important rule. Why do you have onions? Why are you slivering the onions? Why are's probably the most important. Why do you have onions? Why are you slivering the onions? Why are you chopping the onions? Why are you grilling the onions? Terrible. There's one rule that we have here at VT.
Starting point is 01:31:31 And what's the rule, PPD? No onions. No onions. So you drop the ball. This is a nothing burger of a story. Day in, day out. Nobody's going to give a crap. I'm still going to go get my happy meal.
Starting point is 01:31:41 All good. You would still go get your dollar menu. You would still go get a quarter pounder right now. I got the stomach of steel, by the way, I don't know how much you know how much steel. Stomach of steel, that's it. How much steel is still made in America? Not much, it's all in China.
Starting point is 01:31:51 All right, let's go to this next one. Nothing burger of a story, no onions. By the way, I'm not afraid to take a chance. Because, you know, with this next story, Barack Obama hits the stage with this guy named Slim M&M Shady, busts out M&M's lose yourself at Kamala Harris' Detroit rally in front of rapper Rob. By the way, did you see how M&M brought up Obama? I don't know if you heard it.
Starting point is 01:32:20 The way he did it, it's as if he's reading a script and he really doesn't want to do it. I don't know why he got this. script and he really doesn't want to do it. I don't know why he got this. Rob, play this clip real quick. Go ahead. His beard's weird. Detroit! What up, though?
Starting point is 01:32:31 Yeah. White guy. What up, though? So look, I wrote down a few things I wanted to say. I love you, too. Thank you. I'm here tonight for a couple of important reasons. As most of you know, the city of Detroit and the whole state of Michigan mean a lot to
Starting point is 01:32:54 me. Going into this election, the spotlight is on us more than ever, and I think it's important to use your voice. So I'm encouraging everybody to get out and vote please. I also think that people shouldn't be afraid to express their opinions and I don't think anyone once in America were people that worried about retribution or what people will do if you make your opinion known. This is an ad for better health. Welcome to the world.

Starting point is 01:34:37 Oh my God! President Barack Obama. Oh my God! The Savior! Oh my God! The Savior! So is he singing or no? He opens with like, he's like, hey, hey, hey! Let's see if he does it. Is it here? I have done a lot of rallies, so I don't usually get nervous. Cringe in common. But I was feeling some kind of way following Eminem.
Starting point is 01:35:07 Here he goes dropping the Rs. I notice my palms are sweaty. What? Knees weak. Mom's spaghetti. Pimmin, pimmin. Vomit on my sweater already. Mom's spaghetti.
Starting point is 01:35:20 Vivek is better. I'm nervous but on the surface I look calm and ready. Yeah! Drop bombs but I keep bombing the better. Oh God, he doesnivek is better. I'm nervous, but on the surface I look calm and ready. Yeah! Drop bombs, but I keep bombing better. Oh, God. He doesn't know the words. Yeah!
Starting point is 01:35:28 Yeah! Like, they're doing anything. By the way, can you, Rob, play the clip I just texted you, Rob? Is it the Vivek one? No, no, no. It's a better one. Can you play this? No, no.
Starting point is 01:35:36 This is the clip to play, because this is this is guys if Kamala wins this is the dream go ahead and play this clip I'm so proud to be from this city you know they say if Kamala wins then the whole country will be like Detroit like Detroit resilient like Detroit I'm so broken roads like Detroit, resilient like Detroit. I'm so- Yeah, broken roads like Detroit, not drinkable water like Flint. Okay, you know what drives me crazy? The people that the left use to try to promote their nonsense, Eminem, okay, which I do consider
Starting point is 01:36:18 Pat, top five that are alive? For sure. Okay, top five that are alive, but what a complete Hypocrite and just a sellout. Okay. He's talking He talks all this crap about Donald Trump as if we forgot who Marshall Mathers was okay assault arrested for assault deadly weapon 2000 arrested for gun possession putting out songs Misogyny hating women including his ex-wife. He wrote the song Kim depicting violence domestic violence against her criticized his mother accused her of being a drug addict in public he was on drugs and I'm happy that he beat it but he would bash the LGBTQ AI plus community he had to go and apologize a bunch of time and we
Starting point is 01:36:57 have to listen to this dude it's again Tom what did you say about the side that always points and it's always them oh it, it's it's it's the old technique Accused the other person of doing what you're doing in private Yeah, it's also when you point my mom taught me this when you point there's three fingers point back your way Yeah, wow, but look but look at the slip the one I'm pointing in nine million And again a lot of people a lot of people always question I'm pretty sure the chat and just the world. Whenever you hear somebody like that, whenever you hear these big celebrities coming out,
Starting point is 01:37:30 even Michael Keaton came out and they're like, hey, don't let Trump and them think, they don't like you. And it's like, I always ask what would make someone, especially like an usher, an usher go from, you know, I'm not going to talk about politics to a week later or whatever later going, I think Kamala Harris is the best. I always feel like they have something on these people and they say, hey listen, check your email. You better come up and say you better support our side.
Starting point is 01:37:56 Check yourself before you wreck yourself. They do, it's their entire industry and you have to play ball or get no cash at all. Here's the question though, let me tell you what's going on. Here's what's going on. The playbook, this is the thing, that they're gonna learn from 2024. They're gonna learn from 2024
Starting point is 01:38:15 that the playbook of celebrities, I would hire a consulting firm with a bunch of business analysts and show what is the most effective endorsement of all time. Rank it. And I would identify why. Then I would go today in 2024 and I would run an analysis to say which podcast, what happened to Trump or Kamala
Starting point is 01:38:40 the day after, which show, which town hall, which platform, which CNN, which town hall which platform which CNN which host Which whatever convert is some may be a lot of eyeballs some may be convert Who is the audience you need to get the undecided voters because as we just saw right now since 1950 the independent voter whoever they voted for 15 times that candidate won, three times they lost. So whoever the independent votes for,
Starting point is 01:39:07 80% of the time, guess what? That person's winning. And once I get that data, here's what I realized for 2028. Watch in 2028 how many of these guys come through podcasts. By the way, it's game over. Yeah, I agree. Watch how many of these guys have to come through podcasts, shows. Then you have to go and look at the following.
Starting point is 01:39:30 Here's what you have to realize. If Kamala gets elected, do you know what's going to happen for the first 18 to 24 months of Kamala gets elected? Let me tell you what's going to happen that no one's talking about. I'm going to talk about it. This is my prediction of Kamala gets elected what happens 18 to 24 months. When did people get banned of social media platforms? When was it? But when though? What month and what year? 2020 and 2021. December. Right but what happened in 2023 2024? They were unsuspended and hey you're back on your back on your back on
Starting point is 01:40:06 okay you're gonna see this I had this guy on yesterday Mike Benz on my pants Ben's Rob were you expecting it to be that good Rob with Mike Benz yesterday I was pleasantly surprised yeah he was amazing yeah and he can go deep and wide on a lot of issues so the stuff he talked about, the stuff he was a former... State department, he worked for the US State Department. He worked for the US State Department. That could be many different things. In the army when people say I work special operations, could mean SEAL Team 6, could
Starting point is 01:40:40 mean Delta Force. When you say state department, it could mean CIA. It could mean a lot of different things. But he's in it, okay? And we start talking about, you know, what are, you know, the security, the censorship, all the stuff that he talked about. You know, the words they used, disinformation, delegitimization, what was the word?
Starting point is 01:41:02 Delegitimization, right? Which is, they wanna say no, they don't know what they're talking about. And then he showed this clip, if you can play this clip on what he thought, that said I want you to think about, be the, you know, think like the evil guy that's gonna say what are you gonna do
Starting point is 01:41:19 to make sure Trump wins and you only have 13 days left? He says I want you to watch this clip. Go on and play. This is Jamie Raskin. This is Jamie Raskin. This is Jamie Raskin, and watch what he said. This is, Rob, if I'm not mistaken, this is just two or three months ago. He's part of the House Intelligence Committee.
Starting point is 01:41:31 He is. This is just a couple months ago that he said. Go on and play this clip. And the greatest example going on right now before our very eyes is section three of the 14th Amendment, which they're just disappearing with a magic wand, as if it doesn't exist, even though it could not be clearer what it's stating. And so, you know, they want to kick
Starting point is 01:41:50 it to Congress. So it's going to be up to us on January 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he's disqualified. And then we need bodyguards for everybody in civil war conditions, all because the nine justices, not all of them, but these justices who have not many cases to look at every year, not that much work to do, a huge staff, great protection, simply do not want to do their job and interpret what the great 14th Amendment means. And I'm glad that Sherlyn's creating her new center
Starting point is 01:42:24 so we can bring that. So by the way this is not a lightweight guy that's saying this. This guy's position is what? He's a left Democrat, January 6th. What I'm saying is I think he is the head of the House Intelligence Committee. Can you can you pull up exactly his job? House Oversight Committee. There you go. Okay so for him to say January 26 2025, so if let's do both, let's do Kamala wins, Trump wins, right? If Kamala wins, I think you're going to start seeing censorship coming back in different platforms if Kamala wins.
Starting point is 01:43:03 I think if Kamala wins the number one person they're gonna go after her first six to twelve months targeting him in ways they never have. Guess who it's going to be? Elon Musk. 100%. They're gonna go after him a hundred, two hundred, three hundred different ways and they're gonna do the same thing to him as they did to Trump Court cases you can't use this you can't use that they're gonna Take the money and they're already trying to do with Europe and Brazil all these other guys that they're going after run They're gonna do that, right? Okay So Kamala winning you're gonna see censorship going back up the first two years in a big way
Starting point is 01:43:43 General slowdown the reason why they have to do the first two years in a big way. Then it'll slow down. The reason why they have to do the first two years is because they want everybody to not talk about what happened with election. So the way they do it is muzzle, fear. That's what they're gonna do. 18 to 24 months and then Americans will get over it most of the time and they move on. Majority of them, 95% of them will get over it. 5% who are the true believers, they're not gonna get over it.
Starting point is 01:44:02 But they'll arrest those guys and they'll find a way to get rid of those guys. Again, speculation is what I'm talking about, right? And that's fine. If Trump wins, I think if Trump wins, Musk and Zuck find a way to work business together. I think there's a certain alliance that'll be created there. I think there'll be some relationships being built. think you're gonna see even Google YouTube having to make a 180 a bit and being a little bit more civil with
Starting point is 01:44:32 the administration I think you're gonna see X Absolutely blow up the next four years I think X will be the combination of CNN Fox MSNBC every media's gonna go through CNN, go through X, he's gonna rock that thing like you won't believe, if Trump wins, it's gonna be bigger than you even think it is. Yeah, and you made a great point,
Starting point is 01:44:56 but what'd you say about, you said something about the Europe, there's leaked documents, so Rob, I sent you this link, from the Center of Countering Digital Hate, CCDH. That sounds hilarious. It indicates that their main objective, Rob, you have it, right? Did I send it to you? I'm not seeing it on my Slack.
Starting point is 01:45:12 You look up CCDH on X. Its objective is to undermine Elon Musk's X by influencing advertisers to pull out by using European Union regulations to their advantage. So the CCDH described as the British nonprofit reportedly convened a secret gathering with various liberal entities who are against Muck's vision for a free speech-oriented social media platform. Attendees at this meeting allegedly included figures from the Biden White House, Representative Adam Schiff, his office, the Biden-Harris State Department, Media Matters for America, and this collaboration highlights the coordinated effort to counter Musk's influence in the digital media.
Starting point is 01:45:50 And those are the leaked documents, Pat. It's kill Musk's Twitter is one of the main things on there. And you nailed it. You just said it. And it's a European... They're going to find a way to stop it. Because as you came... Before you came in here, Pat, I was talking with Tom. If it wasn't for X, like that town hall meeting that we saw you last night you wouldn't have seen any of the highlights you wouldn't be seeing nothing Musk is
Starting point is 01:46:12 one of the biggest factors of this election that people aren't talking about a much if it wasn't for X right now and Elon Musk spending billions of dollars for us to see it you wouldn't be seeing a third of what you're seeing right now. Do you agree Tom? Absolutely, it basically saved a channel of communication from certain censorship and limitation and canceling and the fact that it's here has kept everything else honest. If X wasn't where it is right now, do you think that Zuck would have moved
Starting point is 01:46:46 on a couple things after those congressional hearings, especially on the teenage girls and the addictions and hurting themselves? You know, I don't think Zuck moves. I think Elon Musk made everybody move. Just as I said it before, Reagan put the Pershing missiles in Germany and Russia moved. And Reagan then took the USS Theodore Roosevelt. He said, Theodore Roosevelt said, speak softly, but carry a big stick. Right? And so when the USS Theodore Roosevelt was ready to be commissioned, he came out and he said, he said, listen, the USS Theodore Roosevelt is effectively the United States new big stick, because that's what he said, speak softly, carry a big stick, but he never had he never had never had to use them. And so what Elon Musk has done is he is effectively defeated, you know, actually, he is not defeated, but he has sure impugned and stopped the momentum
Starting point is 01:47:48 that was heading towards state runs, but a censorship and he's gone up against countries like, Oh Brazil. And you know, without that, I don't, I don't think we are where we are right now. And I think history will be very kind to him and we owe him a debt of gratitude for what he's done for all of us. But we have to pick up the mantle and carry forward at the same time. Yeah, I think go ahead Adam. I was just going to put a ribbon on because we started the conversation with Eminem and it basically went down to the trickle down effect. I think there's a lot of foreshadowing going on in this song. So Eminem, you know, top 10 rapper of all time arguably greatest white rapper of all time great white hope But who is the real Slim Shady?
Starting point is 01:48:28 Right eight mile Detroit everything going on with that former misogynist woman hater talking about killing his wife Skeleton eating all that Now he's a male feminist Trump hater comma supporter. Okay, what happened right there trash and you know, we kind of got into it yesterday. I was like, Oh, you saw a bomb. I thought it was pretty good. You're like, it was trash. And I said, you know, and he's like, his knees are weak and his palms are sweaty and the mom's spaghetti. I actually thought that was kind of cool until the juxtaposition until I saw Vivek dude went out there and was flowing. He's like, he ain't ready, but he's ready to drop bombs and on the surface. But there's a little bit of foreshadowing because the next verse is basically Kamala's campaign. Here it is. And when she goes, he opens his mouth, but the words won't come
Starting point is 01:49:13 out. He's choking. How everybody's joking. Now the clock's running and times up over blow. And that's Kamala's campaign. Every time she tries to talk, the words won't come out. It's overblow. And that's what's going on. Hey, listen, Pat, like this. You know what? Deep. Wow. Yo. Bum-bum-bum-bum.
Starting point is 01:49:32 Oh, man. Yeah, I didn't know I had to like that. Adam got it. Hey, listen, I'm Slim Shady, the real Slim Shady. All the other Slim Shadys in the app, they're not the Shady. Oh, my God. So by the way, Tulsi Yabber joins Republican Party. Nice. Okay. How big of a deal is that?
Starting point is 01:49:45 The fact that she announced she's joining the Republican Party, Tom, zero to 10, how big of a deal is that? Play this clip and then I wanna get Tom Stott. And it is because of my love for our country, and specifically because of the leadership that President Trump has brought to transform the Republican Party and bring it back
Starting point is 01:50:04 to the party of the people and the party of peace, that I'm proud to stand here with you today, President Trump, and announce that I'm joining the Republican Party. Wow. Wow. Look at the applause. Yes. Leaving the dark side.

Starting point is 01:50:56 This podcast is brought to you by Humber River Health Foundation. From the discovery of insulin in 1921 to the promise of universal health care in 1966, Canadians have always made health care our mission. Now we face our biggest challenge yet, a cure for health care. Reduced wait times, safer patients, advancements in technology, the end of hallway medicine. We're finding it all here at Humber River Health. Help us innovate to keep health care alive.
Starting point is 01:51:22 Donate at healthcare healthcare lives.ca I'm joining the party of the people the party of equality the party that was Founded to fight against and end slavery. Let me tell you the difference. I can listen to her when she speaks and the way she does it. She speaks like a freaking leader, right? And then you go listen to Kamala. I grew up in a middle class family.
Starting point is 01:51:59 No, but what I was saying, let me finish. Let me finish. I believe in the opportunity economy. Yeah, but what I'm trying to ask me finish, let me finish, let me finish. I believe in the opportunity economy. Yeah, but what I'm trying to ask you is about the border. Let me finish, let me finish. I grew up in LA when I was the, and then Tulsi gets on stage. Bam, bam, bam. The way she speaks, she speaks the way both Hillary and Kamala wish they could speak. I agree.
Starting point is 01:52:25 She has the presence on stage that very few people have. I'm not even saying male, whatever. Any sex as she has that it factor on stage. Tell us if you're watching this. You're awesome. This is a nine and the only way that I could put it bigger if she did it on June 1st and then she was the VP candidate, then it's like a 10. But this is a nine for a lot of reasons.
Starting point is 01:52:50 Number one, it's not a campaign stunt. It is a true expression of the party that's doing this is the party that is my values, is what I'm about. This is the authenticity of her book coming out and saying the party I grew up with, the party I represented, the party where I actually you know was an elected official. Nope, I'm here.
Starting point is 01:53:17 And I think this is a nine because this shows women everywhere and people everywhere, particularly women, that it is safe to come out and it is safe to say, by the way, it may not mean you don't get conflict. Your family and your friends may still yell at you and have something to say about it and all this stuff. It may not be easy, but you can come out and you can say, this is the party of what I stand for
Starting point is 01:53:44 and this is where I'm going. I believe this is a nine. And I'll tell ya, in our household, we were really hoping that she would have a real position of prominence in the administration. And earlier this year, we were hoping that she potentially was gonna be the VP candidate. Yeah, and Pat, you always talk about the alliances.
Starting point is 01:54:04 Tom, doesn't it feel good like like not without Tulsi Okay, but side trump as the leader Tulsi RFK is here. He has an Elon Musk He has a Vivek Ramaswamy this alliance is getting bigger and it's getting stronger and I'm telling you right now It's an exciting feeling finally and you nailed it Tom about we had to hide I said it to begin the podcast. I couldn't tell people bro. I've lost friendships because in 2016 when I'm like, hey guys, it looks like he's in a wedding. He loves the country.
Starting point is 01:54:31 I've lost friends. I fought people. I've I don't even talk to some of these people anymore because of that that whole, you know, thing that the left did and by the way, look at look at that. Just look at that photo Tom. Check this out. Trump is getting support from substance. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:54:45 And Kamala is getting endorsement from entertainers. By the way, you know who is coming out tomorrow in Houston with Kamala? Breaking news. Trick Daddy. Rumor has it that Beyoncé is showing up. This is Washington Post. Oh, like the last time that they said she was showing up. Beyoncé will join Kamala Harris at Houston Rally Friday.
Starting point is 01:55:04 The appearance ends months of suspense over whether the pop star Oh, like the last time that they said you were showing up. Beyonce will join Kamala Harris at Houston Rally Friday. The appearance ends months of suspense over whether the pop star will throw her support behind the Democratic Party. Can I ask you a question? What is her support? She's got, she has followers. Yeah, but hold on. If Taylor Swift didn't move the needle, this isn't, so would we be able to find out any
Starting point is 01:55:23 movement? Like once it comes out, we'll be able to find out. 72 hours you'll have. Okay, I don't think it's gonna do anything. People are done. People are finished. I also don't think so. I'm telling you, I asked the question the other day,
Starting point is 01:55:33 who will make some head wave with support? She's not the one, like you know who would? Like you gotta, you gotta, man. Like who would, John? That's a great question. Who, besides singer, actor. Can I tell you something? Like let me put it to you this way.
Starting point is 01:55:52 Here's like the only person that can, and by the way, this is gonna sound weird. So just hang tight before you guys like lose your shit. I love it. I think it's over. Meaning, I think next two weeks, there's gonna be October surprise. So minus the October surprise that's gonna come out.
Starting point is 01:56:10 Well, who's gonna come out? Karen McDougall? Who is Stormy? Another girl? No one cares. No one cares. Yeah, who's gonna come out? Another E. Jean Carroll?
Starting point is 01:56:18 We're gonna go shopping? And hey, what do you like? On me, we're gonna go. What are you gonna come out? The fact that Mar-a-Lago is worth 18 million dollars? Who's gonna come? So the only thing they can really do, honestly, is, and I almost don't wanna say it,
Starting point is 01:56:34 but I think it's if they get a Mar-a-Maple, if they get one of his kids, because it's over. Now what I'm saying to you is, like I'm honestly thinking, Oprah doesn't matter, Beyonce doesn't matter, Jay-Z doesn't matter, Snoop doesn't matter, Barack is done. He doesn't carry the weight he had anymore. Mansion to a small little sect,
Starting point is 01:56:58 maybe in Pittsburgh or Georgia, if you bring in the most respected pastor that goes, I don't even think, I think the only chance they got right now is a family member that's in media and that's not gonna happen because these guys are tight yeah it's just it's it's not gonna happen I'm the point I'm trying to make to you is I don't think there is a person in the world that's gonna influence that I do think the next two weeks the October surprise is another assassination attempt They're going to try to do something. It ain't over with of course not at all of this thing every day
Starting point is 01:57:31 You know our our group text that we're part of the special on you like somebody have it But the point is but i'm telling you that group text the next two weeks Look how much more activity it's going to have very good point, right rob Look how much more activity it's going to have you're gonna see boom, boom, boom, boom. There's gonna be days, it's gonna be five, six stores. This is why. La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la. You know what, and then Pat,
Starting point is 01:57:56 last time I tried to do a dance like this, I split my leg. We're talking about Trump, but remember again. Let me make my point, Mr. Boring Tom. Let me make my point. Mr. Who? Jump in and I'm entertaining, you wanna cut the entertainment? I swear to God, if you talk about comedy. I'm not done, Mr. Boring Tom. Let me make my point. You're jumping and I'm entertaining, you wanna cut the entertainment.
Starting point is 01:58:06 I'm not done, Tom. Oh my God. Would you hit that guy right there? You know what it's like, Tom was 21 years old, you're at a club, you're talking to a girl, you're flirting with these three girls, and you're that close that they're open to the idea of going back to Motel 6.
Starting point is 01:58:24 Tom would say something like, throw the whole story off, and he's gonna say, did you guys hear about the new video game that came out that has this new feature that's got this wind block? Tom, honestly? And let me tell you what he talks about, something like. You guys know premarital sex is really not good for you. And by the way, I liked him.
Starting point is 01:58:41 It reminds me of a story I don't wanna tell, but anyways, let me go back to it. Tom, this is where I was gonna go. Yeah until you jumped in you were singing entertainment blocked There's a different word for when we were 21 years old Entertainment block Block it, you know the rooster blocker is what we used to say, but right now it's like By the way, this is why I stopped bringing him to the club, Pat. Listen to me.
Starting point is 01:59:08 I was so close. Guys, Tom, election night is going to be crazy. I'm telling you, that place is gonna have two fighter jets, two helipads, 240 by 100 fricking tents, music, by the way, you know the song, our main song, the victory song? He may open up. What? We may have national anthem.
Starting point is 01:59:31 We may have some incredible entertainment. We're talking about all the people. And guest list? By the way, more and more people are just texting me saying, can I join, can I join? And by the way, these are like people, whoever's in the, if you bought a super VIP ticket, you are wise, because we can't sell them and they're sold out, right? The only VIPs like people, whoever's in the, if you bought a super VIP ticket, you are wise,
Starting point is 01:59:46 because we can't sell them and it's sold out, right? The only VIPs that, but it's gonna be, because that night is either gonna, either way, it's gonna be controversy, it's gonna be craziness, it's gonna be celebrate. Every one of the annoying emotions and exciting emotions that takes the temperature here is gonna be on fire. I'm gonna cry if Trump wins.
Starting point is 02:00:06 However, will you? I will cry if Trump wins. Will you have a feeling inside your thigh, like the one that kind of comes up, like they, what did Chris Matthew say, what was the line that he used? I have this funny feeling, funny feeling coming on my leg. So Tom, go ahead, you were gonna say something.
Starting point is 02:00:18 No, I was gonna say, we were talking about dirty tricks, I was gonna end on a serious point about about Kamala I'm gonna fat block you right now He's not getting the support from the media that she had for those 28 days where she avoided interviews She's getting questions So it's almost like the other side is not throwing in the towel But they sure don't want to be on the full train right now including Van Jones So I think it's very interesting.
Starting point is 02:00:45 What do you mean by that? Yeah, I'd like to know what that means. What I mean is take a look, they're all hedging. Look at, Dana Bash. Tom, we're trying to be serious. You're talking about running trains out here. Dana Bash. They're hedging their bets.
Starting point is 02:00:57 They are not 98% positive the way they were from July 21st practically to September 1st. Can I tell you the craziest thing? And I think that's insane. Wouldn't they all be like 100% bonkers? By the way, check this out Tom. Tom, here's a question for you. You ready?
Starting point is 02:01:12 So who news just came out saying that these guys are not gonna get a raise and they're all getting a pay cut? What news just came out? It was CNN, wasn't it? All of them. That everybody's getting a pay cut, right? Yes. Guess what?
Starting point is 02:01:24 TSPN. How do you get a pay raise? You get more advertisers by maybe me more balance and get more viewers But but but Trump winning because I have to talk about something they want Trump Trump wins Your eyeballs go higher the next four years. You're gonna get a race because more money is being they want Trump to win But no, these guys are such like insane What do you call them when people eat their own, you know, cut your nose off to spike a face, eat your own young. There's a part of it. There's a part of it that I think question for you. Yes. Did you ever think you would make it? When you asked me like when I was how old, did you ever think
Starting point is 02:02:02 you would make it? I know he's gonna, we'll see what we're gonna do with that. I get I just like I'm getting so close. I could taste right I got you. I got you. Well, let's go to a story for you since you're going that direction I think this I'm just gonna come to Tom. I'm gonna still take you to the club with me to pick up the ladies It's okay This is a good one. LA Times editor quits after owner blocks paper from endorsing Harris, okay? Marielle Garza, the LA Times editorial editor, okay? Resign after the paper's owner, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong,
Starting point is 02:02:41 whom by the way, he bought the company for half a billion dollars a few years ago, reportedly blocked the editorial board from endorsing Kamala Harris for president. Garza stated, I'm resigning because I want to make it clear that I am not okay with us being silent in dangerous times. Honest people need to stand up. LA Times editorial board has prepared to endorse Harris, but executive editor Terry Tank informed staff they would not endorse any candidate attributing the decision to Soon-Shiong. Garza expressed that the move was perplexing to readers and felt that an endorsement was
Starting point is 02:03:18 a logical step after their critique of Trump. Soon-Shiong defended the decision, saying the board was asked to provide a factual analysis of all the positives and negative policies of the candidates, but they chose silence. By the way, this is the first time LA Times hasn't endorsed a president for 20 years. Good. Tom, how big of a deal is this? This is a huge deal. It's happened in the unions. The unions looked at their members and said, you know what, maybe we shouldn't put an endorsement out. Maybe this could be a little inflammatory. And now you've got the LA Times. You hear these said, the liberals want you to say, Oh, conservative rich guy that bought the F and paper. He's he, he did this to it. And
Starting point is 02:03:59 now he's saying, wait a minute. I asked the board to come together with the positive and negatives and objective analysis of every candidate and they chose silence. They wouldn't put the analysis out there. So if they're not gonna put the analysis out there, I'm not gonna let you rubber stamp a editorial page that puts our support the way the newspapers did. And by the way, newspapers used to move voters.
Starting point is 02:04:24 Your local governor, your local mayor our support the way the newspapers did. And by the way, newspapers used to move voters. Your local governor, your local mayor, and your newspapers were the endorsements you wanted. The fire chief you wanted his endorsement, the police chief, and the local newspaper. And now he's saying, listen, we're not doing it. And by the way, there's also this boycott. They said all the, a bunch of people said,
Starting point is 02:04:42 I've been a subscriber for 30 years and and and I'm canceling So those of you that are among the last 400 subscribers to the LA Times against a few of you are no longer getting any paper But Tom, let me ask you a question based on what you just said pre social media. What what counted the most and move the needle? You just said newspapers move your story newspapers would carry and you looked for the newspaper on the editorial page to take a side, and usually the newspaper, when they did that, said, we join the police chief, the fire chief, the legal women voters, and notable social credible people in supporting this candidate or that candidate. But the newspaper did that, and when you would read that, you would say, hey Vinny, do you see the newspaper?
Starting point is 02:05:26 It came out, the police chief is with this guy, the fire chief's with this guy, those are people you cared about, why? Government influenced the fire department, the police department, the school superintendent is with this guy, and the newspaper is, I think I'm voting for him. That's how people made up their mind, before social media.
Starting point is 02:05:43 Wow, so newspapers carried weight back in the days. Social changed the game, and independent podcasts, I have an opinion here. I think Unusual Suspects is gonna be one of the biggest podcasts worldwide, I'm convinced. Number two, I think Vitaimic Comedy's gonna blow up. I think the analysis of what we're doing right now and the things that we're talking about,
Starting point is 02:06:06 those independent podcasters that are out there. By the way, to be honest with you, left, right, and center, I think they're all necessary. Like, you know, I think you got the guys who are, you know, the Rogans, the Independents. I think I would put us as a center-right, is where we at, we'll be fair to everybody on what we're talking about economically.
Starting point is 02:06:25 We're independent, I'm a registered independent. I've been a registered independent almost 20 years. But I would say the guys on the right, the Rumble guys, the Daily Wire guys, all those guys, right? You know, the Theo Vaughn, I think he's gonna play a very interesting role. Schultz with what he did, phenomenal, those guys. I'm hoping Tim sticks around and does what he does
Starting point is 02:06:47 because those guys need to stick around. You got the Pacmans, you got the, you know, who's the Brian something Taylor, he's also, you know, he's, I think this is good. I think that's the direction. I think this is very, very good for this to continue because that's gonna be the sect. Look, here's the reality of it. This is hard
Starting point is 02:07:07 this is very hard because you have to garner attention and keep the audience and You know, we're not going out there spending millions of dollars of we've never advertised this podcast You understand like, you know, you go certain places. They'll spend a million dollars to advertise your new show You know how much you know how much money we've ever spent creating ads to bring people to watch your PBD podcast? This much money. Never. So if you're watching this, by the way,
Starting point is 02:07:34 somehow, someway you found us, and we appreciate you, because this doesn't happen without you, honestly. Whether you're watching this in your car, whether you're listening to us at work, acting like you're working and your boss is looking at you, you can give me a wink, we felt it, right? We love you too, but make sure you get your job done, because we don't want you to lose your job. Whether you're watching this in a bathroom, we got a big bathroom community.
Starting point is 02:07:55 I all the time watch it. And we don't hate. Look, don't get up, don't get up. Sit down, be comfortable. Just saying. You know, somebody with a... Get one of the things you got from me the other day. Garchok is coming trust me You're gonna get a few guys The point is like the world has changed You know the audience wants to find you and you have to earn it and it's it's very interesting how to go about it
Starting point is 02:08:18 but I think the game is gonna change the next four eight twelve years and We're planning on doing some exciting stuff with it We want to spend as much time with you guys as possible, but I want to finish it up with the last story that Adam's not going to participate in. So here's a story. The World Series is here. Yankees Dodgers. First time since 1981.
Starting point is 02:08:39 First time since 1981. I almost don't want to say this because you never want to give the outsiders that watch your enemies a little bit of an edge to divide the team internally because it has become a little bit of a problem here in the office. I'll just read this story to you and I'll tell you how much hate sometimes we're getting from Tom Saluda. It is a little bit inappropriate. You know where your friends are.
Starting point is 02:09:03 Yankees Dodgers World Series see amongst most expensive fastest selling of all time on secondary market, the 2024 World Series. Yankees Dodgers LA is among the most expensive fastest on second of our stop up reporting ticket sales have quadrupled of those of 2022 Astros Phillies. The quadruple Forex, the average price of stop up right now is 1667
Starting point is 02:09:26 Game 16 67 the highest since 17 would it get in price of 1170 for game one? Game one is 1170 just to get any kind of seat to be in there second only to 6641 average during the Cubs World Series I'm sorry. No, not, that's record. Ticket IQ reports that on average, price of 48.75 for games at Yankees Stadium, game three and four and five,
Starting point is 02:09:51 second only to 66.41 Cubs World Series. Game at Dodger Stadiums are averaging 31.46, third highest in history. The Yankees Dodgers matchup features 64 all-star nods. Damn! Wow! With Otani and Aaron Judge headlining the star-studded event, 64 all-star nods. Damn. Wow. Wow. With Otani and Aaron Judge headlining the star-studded event,
Starting point is 02:10:08 first pitch for game one is set at 808. Friday, Eastern, Tom, tell us why you hate the Yankees as much as you do. Unbelievable. I don't hate the Yankees. Got a lot of respect for them, and if they win and you get a ring, I'm very happy for that.
Starting point is 02:10:23 And so for all this jibber jabber and all this, this, this, this stirring the pot, I will be happy, very happy for Pat if he gets a ring when it happens. But I'll tell you, I've been a lifelong Dodger fan. And by the way, just two days ago, RIP Fernando Valenzuela says great picture. And it was, uh, you know, all like today's quattro, you know the big three four And he was the only only Pitcher in history to win rookie of the year so young in the same season the only guy to do it Wow, yep only guy and lost went in his early 60s here way too young You know disease caught up with them way too early
Starting point is 02:11:04 But the ghost of Fernando because Fernando was there in 81, he was on that team in 81, and he won a game and contributed in another, and when the Dodgers beat the Yankees, so you gotta contend with the ghost. He had to throw that in there. The ghost of Fernando. You know what you're doing? You're scaring the Yankees.
Starting point is 02:11:24 You're scaring the Yankee fans about ghosts and the boogeyman. By the way though, these are the types of... Would you agree with this Tom? I'm actually really curious to know what you guys say Tom. You're sending this one out. Would you agree that there's never been a game where the players are more superstitious than baseball? Absolutely. Some of them won't step on the line. They only walk. Wade Boggs wouldn't wash his socks for months. Aaron Judge hasn't washed his underwear in years.
Starting point is 02:11:51 Yeah. They only throw the ball around the infield or the half-in. No, you have players, it's incredible. There'll be pitchers scuff the pitchers mound exactly three times, then they set, then they pitch. Run a poll, Rob times then they set then they pitch run a poll Rob Who's gonna win it run a poll? we have a huge run a poll to see what I can make an assumption go ahead because
Starting point is 02:12:13 Hey, do you know what happened? Yankees, you know what happens you think the audience gonna be 64 audience gonna be 64 I don't you got to realize that we the number one state that watches the podcast Cali new Yeah, Rob is number one New York or California New York New York City. Why do I think was a California? Give me the report. No, it's not New York City. I bet you are Littic you want to know Illinois number three, Illinois number three go go. It's so interesting one is Cali I'm pretty sure okay Rob. Can you just real quick? I'm curious to know go ahead and vote Let's see who
Starting point is 02:12:45 you think is going to win. It's going to be an edge because even last night at dinner when I asked who do you think is going to win, they said some of the guys were rooting Dodgers. Let's say Yankees, they're no longer with us. Oh, I'm getting close baby. The Yankees have that cachet. I know I said I wasn't going to talk but I'm going to just say. I like the Miami Marlins and I'm my favorite players when Bini does his interviews. That's my favorite. That's my favorite with the banana. Very good. Very good. What's your team name? The Platinos. Alonzo.
Starting point is 02:13:14 I went to the two World Series with the Marlins 1997 and in 2003 we beat the Yankees. Pero, what I'm most excited about this time, the two best players in baseball, they're playing against each other. Two MVP candidates, Joe A. Ohtani and Aaron George. George. George, I'm judging you, Vinny. See. The two best players in baseball, they're going to knock it out of the park, I think.
Starting point is 02:13:39 I don't care who wins. Let's have a good time. Okay, maybe let me ask a different question. Tom, let me ask this. You know how in the playoffs so far for the Yankees, Judge hasn me ask a different question, Tom. Let me ask this. You know how in the playoffs so far for the Yankees, Judge hasn't shown up? Stanton has. Barely, Stanton stepped up.
Starting point is 02:13:50 He's got a couple of keys. He's got a couple of keys, a three-round home run. I'm not gonna say he hasn't. John Carlo has absolutely been. But Stanton has done what people thought Judge would do. Exactly, big surprise. And the MVP of the ALCS went to Stanton. Stanton?
Starting point is 02:14:04 Oh really? Yeah, of course. Soto had a big moment, but it went to Stanton. Stanton? Oh really? Yeah, of course. Soto had a big moment, but it went to Stanton. Okay, mighty guy. And Stanton, but you got Otani on the other side playing like a freaking cool as a cucumber. Stealing baby. I can't believe the way he's playing, right?
Starting point is 02:14:15 Who do you think is gonna show up in the World Series? Both teams, give me one name for both teams. Mookie Betts for the Dodgers. I think he's gonna be the surprise. The surprise step up. It's very difficult for Judge and Otani because they could bat 333, seven or eight RBIs and two home runs each and people say well that's what they're supposed to do. And that would be a great series but you say well that's what they're supposed to do. And you look at Mookie. Do you think there's gonna be something, you think like, I'm thinking like.
Starting point is 02:14:46 Look at the NLCS. Edmund, Edmund was a pickup at the trade deadline. And look at what he batted. And right, he anchored the bottom of the Dodger lineup. And remember, if you get on base at the bottom of the Dodger lineup, then you get Otani, Betts, and Freeman, and Muncie at the top of the lineup and you're on base.
Starting point is 02:15:05 Yeah, but PBD, you know. I mean, come on, I've told you this before. The Yankees got that secret weapon. We all know what it is. Well, when was the last time the Yankees beat the Dodgers? It's a secret sauce. Hang on, hang on, hang on. Hold on, Tom.
Starting point is 02:15:17 You know who the secret weapon is. Let him make his point for a second and tell me your secret weapon. When was the last time the Yankees beat the Dodgers? 1978. The last time the Yankees beat the Dodgers? 1978. The last time the Yankees beat the Dodgers? 1978. That's right. Because in 81 the Dodgers won. Something's going on.
Starting point is 02:15:28 I was born in 78. And by the way, who was the MVP? We're going to do this dance. Who was the MVP? It wasn't Chris Chambliss. It wasn't Thurman Munson. It was Bucky Dent. Bucky?
Starting point is 02:15:42 Like batting. I went to Bucky Dent's baseball camp as a kid. So you have, during the playoffs, you have these situations where guys come up and show up. Remember when St. Louis beat Texas? That was crazy. Who did it? It was this third baseman that just had this crazy series.
Starting point is 02:16:00 So whenever you come into the short series, it's who's hot this week The full not gonna lie to you the way Otani's playing he swings like a but he's gonna break his way that way He's so loose. I will put Otani not against judge the way Otani's playing. I think Soros playing. Yeah, that's where I put overall Yeah, I put Mookie I put against Stanton I think those two are how they're playing. And then you can put Judge versus somebody in Dodgers that has been underperforming, which you can pick a name there.
Starting point is 02:16:32 Judge is chasing pitches outside in the dirt and it's like that's just old school. So anyways. I would say keep your eye on Soto and Mookie Betts. I'm excited to see what Soto. We're watching the game on Friday. Of course we are, but what I'm saying is when we, just to say this because you look like you want to say something.
Starting point is 02:16:51 I just want to say, I mean we all know the secret weapon. Look the Yankees, last time they won a World Series was what year? 70,000 19, no the last time we won it. 09. 09. Okay so it's been 15 years. And the Dodgers won 2020 yeah, okay I think listen America first Otani respect Japan first, but we know the Yankees got a secret weapon
Starting point is 02:17:13 You know who it is, right? We know the guy We know the guy stupid we know Gary got there Lou Gehrig out there. Stop. Okay. We know who it is. Lou Gehrig. I'm making a prediction. The Yankees are doomed. Lou Gehrig is like, here's Judge Adam. Let me tell you what I would say. Gehrig is a word that you don't curse.
Starting point is 02:17:30 It's a legend of baseball. Tom, we're not taking you to the club. So let me tell you what I'm hoping for.
