that I read and Vinny was dying to Kaufman. He's like going crazy. He's like going crazy. I have a great event. We had a great event. We had a great event. We have Stephen Bartlett there who crushed it. I think when the reviews come out of him. He was, he's going to be a fan favorite. 90 minutes.

And then we had Logan Paul, which at some moment you listen to Logan Paul. He said, I hate this guy. I think I like this guy. My God, I love this guy. This guy's freaking phenomenal. It was such a roller coaster with him. He's a showman and a half. He just came in and owned the stage.

And then we had Floyd Mayweather, text last minute, shows up, comes, does the interview. And you know what? Here's the deal. I'm the best. I'm the best that's ever been. You know, I asked them a question once time. And I can't wait for you to see it. And I'm like, so do you believe in affirmations?

He said, what? He said, what did you say? He thought I said something bad. But I froze or something. I said, do you believe in affirmations? He got upset with me. I said, no, no. Like, do you tell yourself, like, you know, great things about yourself?

He says, I'm the best. I'm the greatest there's ever been. And his confidence. himself was beautiful and then of course we had Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. Joe Montana was fired up. He wouldn't even let Jerry speak, Joe, the entire time he was so like intense about the whole thing. We had a fun time with him. Jerry was phenomenal.

Dan Martel got on the stage, did his thing. Nick Shirley got up and you guys interviewed him and, but it was a good time. Tom did phenomenal with his session. We had a very good, the networking after party at the Formula One. They made me dance Armenian. I would play this video for you, but I can because Arama Saturians and the music's in the back. miss the next one. You'll see why. The greatest networking session ever. But let's get right into. We got a lot of stories to cover. We've been off for a week. Nike. How much money is Nike lost, Tom? in the last five years, seven years. 82%, 81%, ridiculous what's going on with Nike.

And then Lulu Lemon comes up. They had their own set of stories, and the CEO and his wife are going through a nasty divorce. There's not a pre-up there. The line is very simple. Either you sign a pre-up or the woman has a pre-up with the U.S. government, because you have a pre-up no matter what.

And the pre-up is the government already has a pre-up and structure in place for you if you don't go get your own terms. They're going to dictate the terms. But we'll talk about Nike and Lulu Lemon, this lady, Lindsay Clancy, one juror, this one guy that saved the day. The man. So out of the 12 jurors, nine were women, three men of the three, two sided with her saying, you know, she's innocent. Though one guy's like, no, no, no, no, no, I'm not doing this. Because of one guy, this lady didn't walk.

Now, she probably would have gone to some kind of a mental hospital, things like that. but she would have walked after killing her three. She would have walked with $1.2 million. Can you imagine that message to the world? Hey, go kill your kids. We'll raise you $1.2 million and you'll walk because it's not your fault. Somebody else's fault. You know, you didn't do it.

It's not your fault. Another video is going viral with a guy that's saying he was about to get married, $200,000 wedding he put, and he comes out and tells the girl, I'm out. We ain't getting married because they just answer a simple question. What do you think about it? We're at dinner. I'll even brink about what we talked about at dinner. Could you be friends with somebody?

That said she could walk. You have a relative. You're in the summer vacation. You're going out, hanging out together. One of the people there says, this girl's innocent, she should walk. Could you see yourself living in the same house with somebody for three weeks with your kids being there?

With somebody that believes. It's a conversation that we'll have insanity. The U.S. jobs report came in with 162,000 jobs. Of which, you guys ready for this? I think this is sexist, man. do. I think they have something against all the men, by the way. You know out of the 162,000 jobs we created? 98% them were for women. Only 2% were for men. Guys, if you got a job in the last quarter, listen, respect to you because you're probably the only person I got in last quarter.

The other 98% were all women. Tom will give us that report. Tucker Carlson, J.D. Vance, comes up and clears up his friendship with Tucker Carlson. After saying this L side guy's evil, after Tucker comes out and says he would never vote for the guy that's going against Elside, Mike Rogers, he never would. It's just a bunch of things going on because JD's got to clear up his relationship with Tucker because his son, Tucker's son Buckley used to work for JD. So there's some things there for 2020, and I'm sure he's trying to clean it up to see what's going to happen with the votes.

Florida housing market story comes out. And listen, the Florida housing market may be taking a hit. Venezuela's oil deal with Chevron giving $7 billion. And I don't remember if you remember the Chevron CEO was it where it's like, wow, I don't know if we're going to put anything there because the infrastructure in Venezuela is not that good. They came back and said, if we'd like to put another $7 billion into it, that's a massive, massive deal that the U.S. did with Venezuela will address that. And then a man, this is a very, very difficult, but a video we must watch,

a father of daughter maimed by illegal aliens slams Democrats saying there's no way you guys are sorry and looks at everyone's faces and says that. To their faces, you just have to watch this clip because the way this guy did it, obviously, you have a hard, difficult, difficult story, but we got to watch us together. And by the way, the WMBA, the commissioner, Kathy Engelberg, they're not renew or contract.

I wonder why. I thought she was crushing it. She was doing a great job. And, you know, they say she's going to be stepping down by the end of the year and resigning. That's one way of Adam Silver saying, you're fired. You know what I like about David Stern, Tom?

David Stern would have said you're fired. Get the hell out of here. David Stern was like a mobster. But Adam's a little bit more diplomatic. Now, who knows? Maybe David Sir would have done it in a different way. I don't want to say anything. He was a good commissioner.

He was good commissioners. He's a guy that I really liked. He was tough. He was strong. And some people would say... Maybe she should play baseball for two years. Yeah, maybe she should just leave and, you know, change it up. Tim Cook's stepping out from Apple.

You know, a lot of people are wondering what kind of money he got paid and a new guy that's coming and he's going to change anything. What's going to happen? What was his legacy? Like, you guys hear about what happened with the Clippers? I mean, the Clippers are getting fined $30 million and losing five first-round draft picks because the way the Clippers and Ballmer did a deal with Quai Leonard, which, by the way, probably the worst deal in the history, they got nothing for Quay Leonard.

They thought they were going to win a couple championships. They thought the Clippers were going to be the king of L.A. and replacing Lakers. And there's a famous line by Charles Barkley. He says, I'll say when we get into the story. I'll sit when we get into the story, it's a phenomenal. He says, I've been poor. I've been a rich. He says, I've been fat.

I've been skinny. The clippers have sucked all along. Tiger Woods got a, you know, latest DUI. He got a five-year suspension on his license, which I think the world's a safer place with Tiger, not driving. Dude, just go get a driver. Yeah, I know what it is to like to drive. I love driving, but just go get a driver.

It's probably better for society. The Tiger is not driving. And then there's a guy, this is Vinny's favorite story that, you know, the last two stories are Vinny's stories. He loves these stories. One of them is about gays were Gaza, you know, activists. That what happens to him? He was shot and killed with his friend or lover by a Muslim guy that hates gays.

I know that's a shocking story. But yeah. You're exaggerating. He, a Muslim man shot a gaze for Gaza activist. What does this have to do with Milo? Milo got deported because he overstayed his visa. He was, you know, he thought nothing was ever going to happen. They deported him, and now he's there.

He's in the UK. He's not in the States anymore. No, he's not in the States anymore. He's in the UK. He's in the UK, now he's inside of mosque. I know people are like, he's a troll and everything, but guess what? He's wearing the outfit. He's sitting in the mosque.

And I'm just, I'm curious to where he's going to go. If he's actually going to go through it 100% and go to the Middle League. I want to make sure I'm clear because I thought that was very helpful. a guy that says gays for Gaza who never read the Quran Yes Get shot and killed by a guy who read the Quran And did exactly what it told him to do 1,000% and I have a

Okay, I just want to be sure Yeah and I do have a weird take once we get there If we get there about how this kind of correlates Well maybe this goes to the next story because this next one is Hunter Biden who said in an interview is 48% Gay is thinking about running for president And Don Lemon who is 100% he is saying he's going to run for president

Respectfully I'd love to actually see it not even mocking or rage baiting or anything out trolling. I just would love to see these. I would like a lot of people to run in 2028. A lot of people to run. The more people running, the more we get in shape. I think it's a good thing for more people to run. Anyways, what makes a Democrat debate.

Must see TV, man. Make that being said, I didn't get what that meant on, but let's, let's, let's, uh, if all these guys are running on stage, I would actually watch the Democrat debate. I see what you're saying. I see what you're saying. I got.

With that being said, let's get right into it. Let's get right into it. The story I want to start off with is a story of, you know, I'm trying

to see which one I want to go. Let's go with the Jobs Report story. So U.S. Jobs Report comes in, okay? U.S. Jobs Report comes in. Everybody's kind of looking at this thing saying, what does it look like? What is the numbers? What is it saying? And some people are worried that the rates may be increasing. Wait a minute. We're going to increase the interest rates? Yes, we are. Really? Yes. Why? Trump's saying don't don't increase it. You better lower it. We desperately need it. America needs a decreasing of interest rates. Yes, we're thinking about it. No, I'm telling you, you got to lower the interest rates. Women accounted for almost all of job gains in August. And here's why. Wait, you mean all of it? 98% of all the job gains we got were for women. So they counted for 158,000 of 100%. 162,000 of August jobs added 98% while men netted just 4,000 praise CNBC analysis over the past year employed women grew by 870 While employed men fell by nearly one and a half million Damn, how are we doing? Did you hear what I just said? Yeah

870 women grew one and a half million men declined the drivers health care the engine of job growth were upwards Of four and five workers are women and local government education which out of forty five 2,000 jobs in a field where women held nearly three cords of positions. Women also showed hiring strength in male-dominator manufacturing. Women's unemployment fell to 3.9, while men's is at 4.4. We are in the midst of a shift. It is changing right before our eyes set in deeds hiring labs, Laura Ulrich, a woman. But she cautioned the story is not purely positive.

Women earn less so their hiring share may signal a tilt towards lower wage rolls and some gains reflect women juggling multiple jobs. Navy Federal Health, Heather Long noted monthly gender data is volatile and pointed to the longer-term mom session trend of mothers leaving the workforce time. Why is this so important? This is a big report because of what's in it. You touched on a couple things. The first thing that you touched on was bars and restaurants, also known as hospitality, added 59,000 jobs, local government driven education public school added 42,000. But that's a seasonally expected number.

What month is it? August, what are you doing? We're going back to school. What are you doing to go back to school? You hire your teachers. Your part-timers come back and things. So together, that was 62% of the entire jobs report, Pat. But on the other side of it, this, they also revised up July a little bit,

and they revised up June a little bit, which means that overall, all it was a good report, but these two sectors dominated it. And we didn't get as much as we really want to see like in manufacturing and where you have real industry going. And on the other side of it, the impact of the report is going to be much greater with the Fed. Because now it almost guarantees that the Fed's going to be stepping toward a rate hike when there's people out there, including me, that are saying, I think the rate should be lower. Now, the White House, they believe it should be lower, and they believe that for a lot of good reasons. But typically, the president wants lower rates for interest rates and a lot of other things for business.

So you would expect that from the White House. I look at it and Chris Waller, who's not head of the Fed, Chris Waller, he's just saying, hey, not so fast on the rate hike. Not so fast. This jobs report doesn't mean that we have an overheating economy and inflation. you need to not raise the rates. So there are voices coming out. But the impact of this job report on potential rates and making a rate hike is bad,

even though the jobs, by and large, was good, although we did have some seasonal things in education. So there's a couple main characters here. There's obviously President Trump. And then there's the new chairman of the Fed, Kevin Warsh. So if you're not familiar with who Kevin Warsh is, he's the new guy in charge. we're about to find out if Trump is actually a king.

Because for years he was basically lambasting what's our former Fed, Jerome Powell, loser, sucker, no rate, no cut. He's just basically just admonishing him and just going hard at him. Then he has his opportunity to pick who he wants as the chairman of the Fed. And the one concern was, is this guy going to just do what Trump says? And here we're finding out there's a solid jobs report. And ultimately, a strong jobs report removes the Fed's excuse to cut rate, right? So the Fed could either mess with rates.

Like the Fed is like a DJ. The volume, all right, the dance floor is packed. We're going to cut rates. We're going to turn up the volume. They're just doing one of two things. That's an interesting way to look at it. I agree. They're turning up the volume.

The dance floor is packed. They're going to keep rates the same. they're just constantly just using the job market as a way to understand how the economy is moving and basically how the dance floor is going. The bottom line is this. Kevin Warsh is going to have an opportunity to basically stand up and say, nope, I'm in charge. The Fed is independent and I'm going to keep rates what they are,

potentially even a rate hike, or I'm going to do exactly what Trump wants me to do and do a rate cut. What do you think is going to happen? I think he's actually going to keep rates the same. You don't think he's going to raise. I don't think he's going to raise. I think the pressure is on him to raise because the Fed is mistaking something. I am with the people that said, listen, beef is a supply shock.

It's not sector full inflation. It is, are the prices up? Yes, could you call that inflation? You could, but you would be wrong. It's a supply spike. Oil is a supply spike and a refinery shortage. Those aren't like inflation in the overall market pat. And with the inflation up and the overheating from the jobs report,

Now, Warsh, I think, is leaning toward raising a quarter. I'd actually love to see him raise the rates. That would be bad. But I'm going to tell you why I'd like to see that happen. Trump would flip out. No, no. No, hear me out for a second. I'd like to see him raise the rates. I know it would be bad.

And I know the market's going to tank when he raises the rates. But I'd love to see him raise the rates. And then guess what he does right after? So let's just say he raises a quarter. Okay? And the next time he has a chance to raise the rates or keep it the same, he lowers it half a point. Okay? What message does that send to the world?

The message that sends to the world is, one, he's independent. Trump hired somebody that is going to make up their own minds. He's not just going to do what Trump wants him to do. And guess what? He's going to get his chance. Right now, what month are we in right now? September. Once the next time he's going to get a chance to mess with the rates.

September, I think it's on 17th to 19th, I think, is the Fed. If you guys could look that up. And then what's the meeting? And the meeting, so 1719 be Halloween, I think. So Halloween will be right before midterms, right? Yeah, let me see. I think. Remaining 26th schedule, guys, right there.

Right there. Guys, it's right below there. So go a little bit lower, September, so October 27, 28. Yep, right before. So there you go. So to me, I actually, I'd like to see him raise the rates a little bit, although I don't think he's going to. I think it's going to stay flat.

I don't think nothing's going to be happening. Well, as long as he doesn't lower the rates, he's going to show that he's independent of Trump. Because Trump is basically out there yelling at anyone who will listen, the United States seems to have the cheap. lowest rates, lowest borrowing costs, and Kevin Warsh is going to have an opportunity to basically make a name for himself. Yeah, we'll see. We'll see what will take place. Let me get to the next story here. Okay. The next story is with Lindsay Clancy. We're at the event. And all of a sense like mistrial, mistrial, mistrial, miss trial, what do you mean mistrial? Yeah, mistrial. Wait, out of the 12 jurors, how many were on her side? Eleven. Of the 12 jurors, what sexes were they? Nine women, three men, nine women all sided with her. of the three men, two, cited with her, one did not.

And the one that did not, I cannot tell you how many times, including the judge, try to tell this guy, hey, get in line, okay, get in line. And the guy's like, no, not backing down. This guy, I've seen some pictures of this guy, and who knows whether these pictures are right or wrong, if it's him or not, because, you know, they're trying to protect them. I mean, you can literally pull up the 12 jurors and identify the three males.

Can you pull up the 12 jurors on the Lindsay Clancy case and go through three men that are on this? One of them said, no, this woman is guilty. There's no way she's innocent. She is guilty. And next thing, you know, it's a mistrial. So now we were one juror away from this woman who was already raised $1.2 million on, what do you call it, on GoFundMe, and killed her three kids. She could have walked.

That's the system we're in right now. She could have walked. So, absolutely, I got a bunch of questions on this that I want to go to. And Vinny, I'm going to come to you first. Lindsay Clancy trial ends in mistrial with no verdict. What happens next? This is what everybody wants to know. What is going to happen next with this story, right?

Everybody wants to know what happens next with this story. Let me read it to you. So the trial ended in a mistrial. Day seven of the deliberations after the jury reported a single holdout and said it could not reach unanimity on whether she was criminally responsible for strangler three children on January of 2023. Clancy returns to a state hospital, Tewksbury, where she has been held since 2003. D.A. Timothy Cruz will decide whether to retry first degree murder, downgrade charges, offer a plea or drop the case. I'm going to be meeting with our team, he said, giving no timeline.

Redington said if a fall retrial happens, she'll be ready. Legal experts, uh, expert, uh, a retrial citing the Karen Reid precedent, retired after a 2024 hung jury, then acquitted. I think they'll likely come back a second time, said CBS analyst, Caroline Pelosi, noting prosecutors made some pretty big missteps. They could fix, including their argument that Clancy faked her suicide attempt. Jurors heard 85 witnesses, 200 pieces of evidence across nearly six weeks. Nobody can agree out here, so why would the jury agree, Pelosi?

he said of the polarized public, Vinnie. Well, I mean, this is one of those cases that is going to set a precedent. I sent Connor the story already, already in Illinois. A mother was charged with murder and death of her two-year-old. Prosecutors say Corey Walsh had recently become very interested in the Lindsay Clancy case and had spoke of harming her other three children and her husband. So we have to be very careful of what's happening, okay? And just FYI package.

I'm going to have Connor play these two videos from the psychologist that were on the understand. Lindsay developing postpartum psychosis eight months after giving birth would make her such an extreme statistical outliner. Like postpartum psychosis occurs in one to two out of every 1,000 births. So usually it begins with the first couple of weeks and then it becomes increasingly rare the more time passes. So she was at eight months. Excuse me. Okay. Eight months. So think about the time. And then look at the circumstances. She, she's at the house. She's researching how long her husband Patrick, how long the trip to the restaurant would take, she sent him out, she added another errand, and then she became psychotic during the precise 18-minute window that she created.

Okay? And in that window, she claims that she heard a voice for the first time to kill all three children, okay? And she also missed her husband's phone call, but then deliberately called him back, which shows that she remained aware of the situation and the risk of him returning early, okay? And then the alleged psychosis ended with the treatment or the intervention. Pat, this guy right here, Did you see this? This is Kurt Hilbrum. Just to give you his credit, he's a psychologist, board certified in both clinical and forensic psychology. He testified that he does not bother. This is a doctor. This isn't TikTok people and women, liberal women flipping out. He does not believe that she was experiencing acute psychosis.

And he said that those voices never returned. And it's very, he didn't say very once, very, very rare. Can you play this, Connor? The way she described this is happening is that she heard a voice that she'd never heard before. experienced an hallucination. And she's never experienced it since, but she only experienced it for the 18 minutes. Weird.

Or so that it took to kill the children. And to put it mildly, that would be a very, very unusual. Could you stop it? In fact, he goes on. This guy was one of the best witnesses that have, for a doctor to use the word very, very unusual means it's probably not real.

Okay, and then this is another guy, psychiatrist, Dr. Avram Mack, testified that she suffered from depression and anxiety but showed no evidence of psychosis or bipolar mania when she killed the kids. Can you play this? Do you recall what she reported about the voice? Her experience was that the voice was of a male and it was loud. And what did the voice say? The voice said to the effect of you should kill the kids.

This is your last chance so that you can kill yourself. And what did she say happened after she heard this voice? She engaged in the activity of taking her children's lives. And what did she say that she said when she did that? She described that while that was happening, she was saying out loud, go to God. And you pause? And what about the state? So Pat, ready for this?

And he goes into saying that her saying that is so significant. Go to God because it shows that she understood the children were innocent, okay? And believe that they would go to God and understood what was happening to them was wrong, okay? Put that

to the side. And I keep hearing this nonsense that's driving me crazy of she didn't have support. Are you ready for this? Her husband took paternity leave, worked from home to help her, ran her errands, picked up medications, picked up her food. They had a nanny. Both set of grandparents helped her. She attended an outpatient postpartum program five days a week, saw six doctors and nurses, practitioners, and had 13 medications prescribed her. And apparently, some people are

blaming this medications called Remeron. Pat, it's a psychosis. It listed an extremely rare adverse reaction, but she was also taking antipsychotics at the same time. So this whole stop the narrative that she was abandoned and nobody cared in everything. Everything that she did guys was methodical. She knows what she was doing. She wanted to freaking kill them. She didn't like the husband and this was her way, oh I'm going to kill myself. And he walks in and we haven't heard it, but from listen to testimony of witnesses of people that heard the 911 call. I have this transcript. He was screaming like she said, this woman said, I've never heard a grown man scream these,

these these these, at this level saying oh my God she killed them and she took them in all different rooms and she killed her. So enough of all this. This is in Massachusetts, Boston, liberals and for the judge to come out and yell at him and basically say you have to follow my instructions means he's he wants her to freaking walk as well so there's a there's a new trial that's going to happen i hope the prosecution goes for it and she never guys if she is out in public after two years of being in a munkle board as a society as human beings the system has failed yeah by the way did you see did you see the clip of the judge comparing the male juror holding out against the other 11 to england standing alone against nazi germany did you see

In 2014, ages 1 to 8 in South Carolina in 2014. You know what ended up happening to him?

Death sentence. John Bataglia killed two of his kids, shot his daughter 6 and 9 while their mother listened over the phone. Death sentence executed in 2018. Anthony Milan Ross murdered his 11-year-old son, eight-month-old daughter, an ex-wife on Christmas Day. You ready? death sentence,

sentence May 26, death sentence May 2026. Cameron Todd Willingham convicted of intentionally setting fire that killed his three daughters. Death sentence executed in 2004,

conviction remains highly controversial. Chad Dorman executed, Dorman as D-O-E-R-M-A-N, executed as three young sons in Ohio in 2023. Prosecutors initially saw death Ultimately, life without parole after plea agreement.

The Timothy Jones one is particularly relevant for the following reason. He killed his five kids and prosecutors argued for death despite defense evidence concerning serious mental health problems. The juror sentenced him to death in 2019 wasn't even a like conversation, not 11 to 1, 9 to 2. No, no, kill this guy. John Pataglia is another extraordinary example. He murdered his two daughters while their mother was listening. he was sentenced to death in 2002 and executed in 2018.

His attorneys later argued that severe mental illness made him incompetent to be executed, but the courts rejected the claim. So you notice a pattern here where the arguments being made to say, well, but you don't understand postpartum, you know, and you see a lot of conservative saying stuff like, well, wait a minute, if you're going through it, give up the kids, right? Give them up. Tom said this at dinner the other day.

Give them up. Let the state take care of them. Give them up to foster. If you're really going through this, the country's sitting there and say, well, look, if you're that crazy that you may kill your kids, let's just take the kids away from you. And you know what this can go to is if all of a sudden a mother who just had kids is on SSR, you're taking these types of medication that Vinny was reading earlier. Let's not give you the responsibility on raising kids by yourself. So either take the medication without the kids or don't take the medication and raise the kids. So if you take the medication, the kids are going away.

You got to make up your mind here what's going to be happening because this is going to set the tone for a lot. I want you to watch this clip here as well. For the argument being made by the judge, go forward. Members of the jury, at this point, I'm going to declare that the jury is deadlocked, and I'm going to declare a mistrial. Oh, that is. I just wanted to make a comment. A comment.

And I'm kind of a history buff. And during World War II, Winston Churchill was the prime minister for England. That's right. When England pretty much stood against Nazi Germany alone. And so Churchill oftentimes had to talk to the citizens and say, let us brace for our duties. I always like that phrase. And I thought of that phrase when all of you were agreeing to be on this jury.

Do you understand what's going on here? You know. grace for that duty. And each one of you knew how long the case was going to go. You knew how difficult the case was going to be to listen to facts-wise, but still

what an analogy. Can you imagine that when you're listening to this time? How do you process this with the judge saying this? How ridiculous is this? It's beyond ridiculous. And by the way, you know, this whole thing with these Lindsay apologists, to me it's kind of

How long have they been talking about feminism? Hey, we can do anything a man can do. We demand equal rights. You know, we can endure a pregnancy, childbirth, and all this thing. We want equal rights. I agree with that. They want equal rights. You want to do this.

And now they take this old guy who spends the entire defense saying that women are fragile and that he is now, they call him the voice of feminism. The voice of feminism just spent how long in trial, basically saying that, women who have kids can be classified as nuts. And I disagree with that characterization of postpartum, which I believe is real. And I think the judge going up here, I think there were so much angles here, Pat, that was just a mockery and just sort of collisions of logic. And now we want to redefine women as damsels in distress, slave to hormones that have

not partially cared for. They can go off the reservation and kill their kids. Oops. I don't buy it. They don't see what they're doing. they're setting what they used to call feminism back, you know? And that's just, and I was never about feminism. I was about basic equality.

You can have a job. You could do this. Can you do everything a man can on a football field? No, let's not go there because they take it the other way. But this just shocked me, Pat. There's a very slippery slope saying, if we can kill a baby right before it's born, What about right after it's born? What about one day after it's born? How many months? What about one week after it's born? How many months old was the young? Eight months old?

The youngest baby was eight months old. So how about eight months? Exactly. There was a very slippery slope with this liberal ideology of, yeah, we can kill the baby right before it's born to right after it's born. So then what I'm wondering for women, and I love you women out there, especially women who are seeing this in a very logical manner, the slippery slope says, all right, let's say she gets off.

Then, all right, so you can succumb to your emotions, and no matter what you do, you could just say, yeah, it was my hormones, it was my emotions. So then at what point can we say, well, how can we trust you? How can we trust your gender around children? How can we trust you in the workforce? How can we trust anything you do at this point? Because you can just blame your emotions or after pregnancy, depression, whatever it means, and you just kill somebody, you can get off.

So to me, the precedent that is going to be set here, if Lindsay Clancy is set free and basically saying, yeah, it's okay to murder your three kids, and it wasn't just her three kids, it was their three kids, because the husband was the father, to Cora, Dawson, and Callan, these are three people. And it's a very slippery slope. My last point is this. You've talked about the hero-making machine here on the show a million different times. Lindsay Clancy, no matter what you think of her, she is not a hero. The women who are protesting for her, who have raised over a million dollars, basically claiming that she's their hero and the system is rigged against her. I have to take a long, hard look in the mirror and say, what are we talking about right here? Lindsay Clancy's not a hero.

Luigi Mangione's not a hero. Tyler Robinson's not a hero. It just seems like the world is going backwards. and there's normal people saying not so fast. Yeah, by the way, I want you to see this clip. Two things. Do you want to go to this one first? And by the way, the juror, you know,

there's a picture circulating saying that this is the juror. Who knows if this is true or not? We'll get to that here in a minute. Here's a guy that was about to get married. And $200,000 wedding he's spending money on. That's a real wedding. And watch what he had to say. After he asked his fiancé future wife, a simple question.

Go ahead. So I just canceled my wedding. wedding. I was going to get married next month. I asked my ex what she'd think about the case of Linsley. She told me that she's innocent because I will never understand what a woman go through. And I said, but what about the kids? Who cares? So you know what? Two hundred thousand dollars done. But I can believe I was going to do. gonna get married to a monster. Wow.

Done. $200,000, but guess what? Doesn't have to worry about leaving and his kids being murdered however many kids he's gonna have with her. Yeah, and you saw the clip with Chris, right? There's a clip with Chris that... Yeah, can you...

This is a strange take, Chris. But you... Play this clip. Go ahead. And Vinny, I'm going to come to you. Go ahead. I'm going to let all this noise clear the zone on the Lindsay Clancy situation and a lone holdout juror who admitted he had reasonable doubts

about the prosecution's case, but refused to let her go. I'm going to let that noise clear. But here's a signal. Why are so many people who are in favor of punishing Lindsay Clancy, also MAGA supporters, when you favor no legal accountability for the president and his administration, despite obvious illegality and corruption? Hmm. Hypocrisy much?

Just when you thought you've seen it. Why MAGA? It's because the majority of MAGA are Christian conservatives who actually care about protecting children in the womb or out. And I love that you brought it up, Adam. The Democrat machine, the party, whatever, leftist, whatever, they don't give a damn. Not only are the party of violence.

They're happy with killing babies up to freaking birth, especially in Massachusetts. Okay? case is the updated version of the pre-up. The pre-up is basically saying, hey, listen, if we get married, You're not going to steal all my money and you're going to run away with all my stuff. The Lindsay Clancy conversation is like, hey, if we can marry and have kids, you're not going to kill our kids, right? Can we agree about it? And the lady goes, well, not so sure. Yeah, we'll cancel the wedding.

Regarding whatever Cuomo was talking about here with Trump, in a weird way, this is how I process this. The people who are cheering for Lindsay Clancy, how do you think they feel about Trump? They probably hate Trump. So they will, Trump has been accused of. rape, pedophilia, sexual deviancy, never accused of anything. Lindsay Clancy, there's no... Never charged with it. Never charged with anything.

Lindsay Clancy, she actually killed her kids. She admitted it. She admitted it. There's no question here. So the hypocrisy or the cognitive dissonance that these women are basically saying, we hate Trump, everything about Trump is bad, bad, bad. But the lady who actually killed her kids, she's a hero, though, guys. Yep.

Let's have a little sympathy for her. To me... But what do you think about? But Adam, think about this. This is, Chris is a left liberal, whatever you want to say. I think we're just going to do some different things this summer. And I'm going to give her grace that I, because it's up to her husband to talk to her about this and to worry in their marriage about their unity.

Hey, kids are going to school. Hey, we're going to go to Aunt Mary's house to go play with little Johnny. And you know what that person's position is? You're letting your kids go to that person's house? No. No. To me, you can be pro-choice, pro-life. Let's hang out.

That doesn't bother me. Even though I'm a man of faith and you know where my positions lie, you can be a socialist capitalist, my health and guidance teacher till today hates Trump. She's a socialist. I'm flying her out to Florida for her honeymoon and sending, putting in the nicest hotel and spoiling the hell out of her.

This lady was my health and guidance teacher. No problem. I can get along with a socialist and have a conversation with you. I can get along with a pro-life, pro-choice and have a conversation with you. But if either one of those two think this woman is innocent and it wasn't her fault, that to me you are like past a line of logic and common sense. There can't be anything we can entertain together. Nothing.

Everything becomes surface level of relationship. Oh, how are you? Oh, that's great. That's it. Hey, let's go on a vacation together. We're busy. Hey, let's go get kids. Let's do what he called kids playing together. Play date. Play date. No, no, we're busy. They're sick. They're this. We're not playing no games with this year. This isn't political opinion. This is like the safety of my kids. Exactly. I'm saying, does she flip out when my kids are over there? Yeah. Oh my gosh. This is why I said this Lindsay Clancy conversation is the new pre-nup. These are the types of conversations you're going to have with whoever's around your kids. You talked about friends and vacation. Think about

a babysitter. What are you going to ask in that? Think about camp. Think about schools. Think about pre-K. Think about anything that you're going to let your kids do. It's like, hey, question for you, where do you stand in this Lindsay Clancy thing? And all you're doing is weeding out psychopaths, it would say. And are you on any medication? Are you on any... you know. A Ness canter? Yeah. Nike There it is. Publicly called that Nike October 21 for hypocrisy in China. The forced labor and human rights in China at the peak. And so all of these things happened to Nike after that. And now what's really funny, as I read an article this morning, preparing for the podcast,

That is how it's being described by a good analyst, a very good analyst, an interesting fashion sector turnaround story, which was once the leader, the trailblazer, the one that took a shot with Michael Jordan and did those things, is relegated to that description, Pat. It's almost like Nike forgot one of the most famous lines that ever established by its most famous brand ambassador, which is Michael Jordan, who said famously, Republicans buy sneakers too. And it's almost like Nike totally forgot how this all thing works. Because if you like sports, if you're someone that represents the Nike brand,

Nike used to be cool. And then over the last five years, they've become completely out of the cool. section and they forgot where they came from. I remember the argument that I made with Brian Callan that jelly roll is the bud light of musicians at this point. Well, Nike is the bud light of jelly roll at this point where you've completely abandoned your customer. You forgot who you are. And if you, like Tom said, go woke, go broke. And then here's what I want to understand. I knew about the S&P 500. I didn't know there was an S&P 100. Yeah. I mean, I invest in

You know what the SMPU 100 means. It's just 100. That's just the top 100 companies. Exactly. That's what that means. But here's a company. Disney, I've talked about Disney that I, my grandma bought me Disney stock and how Disney basically went broke. How much Disney went down, what, 20, 30, 40 percent at the most?

Nike's down. No, no, no, no, no. How much did they go down? No, no, no. What are you talking about? Disney was a $400 billion dollar company. It went down to $200 billion. So 50%.

Oh, yeah, go to five years. go to, go to Max, go to Max, go to the peak. The peak isn't right during Coke. Right there, it went from 185 to all the way down to, yeah, Disney drop market cap. No, no, no, no. That's not that the low. Lowest go back a little bit, right, right, right, right, right, right, right. Go right, right, right, right, right, right, right. Right there, 92.

Yeah, drop more than 50%. Okay, but Nike dropped 80%. Nike dropped 78%. So here's What type of mismanagement? So here's what you've got to know. Go a little bit deeper into that. Because here's how you want to isolate it.

So anytime the insurance company, like our company would have a drop, bad season, I would look to see what my best guys were doing to see if the best guys also dropped, meaning is this an across-the-board market thing? Or is this the company, you know, somebody, a sector, or market screwing it up? So what is the biggest category of Jordan? When you think about Nike, you think about Jordans, right?

Of course. Okay. So if Nike dropped 78%, what do you think Jordan's dropped? Shoes sales. You would suspect that there's a correlation. So what do you think it is? But I don't even think Jordan Braint dropped. It has dropped. If Nike drops 78%, how much have Jordan shoes with Nike dropped?

How much? What do you think? Percentage-wise, what do you think you dropped? I mean, if it's 70 for that. People love the Jordan brand. I don't see that going down that way. 19% decline. Okay.

It went from $8.2 billion to $7 billion in 2020. On 2026, on 2023 that 8.2 billion, then 8.7 billion in 2024 went up. Then it dropped from 8.7 billion to 7.27 billion. And this year, it's estimated to be at 7.03 billion. So Michael is sitting there saying, guys, what are we doing? You're impacting my income by 19%. So they're feeling that. Now, a few other things.

Aside from the woke part, you got to also know that what Nike did. In insurance, there's two ways to sell insurance. This has to do a lot with what Nike did as well. There's FMOs, IMOs, and there is career side. Meaning, I'm AIG. Career side is I have 2,000 employees that work for AIG that only sell AIG insurance. FMO and IMOs are independent contractors that can sell nationwide, AIG, Prudential, Mutual of Omaha, you know, foresters, whoever they want to sell. You can't control what they sell.

What AIG, what Nike did is Nike started saying, screw these guys, let's just, you know, sell it directly ourselves. They screwed over their retailers, meaning people that are buying Nike products and they're selling it, they tighten the margins. They're like, oh, we're so big, we don't even need you. We're just going to go get everybody to go to the Nike store. I don't know if you're tracking what I'm saying to right now. So they said, screw the FMO-IMO side. Let's go only career side. We're so big. We don't need you guys. The secondary market, the whatever you call, the dicks, the this, the that. The margins are going to get smaller. Okay. Then other competitors read the book Blue Ocean Strategy and said,

I'm going to come and take markets away from you. Hoka, Nike didn't adjust quickly with the OnCloud technology and the Hoka technology. So the Superform technology, when you think about Superform, who do you think about? You think about OnCloud. You think about Hoka. Major sector.

Under Armour got more competitive, so it's by sector that got destroyed. It's not like, you know, you have tennis shoes, you have running shoes, you have basketball shoes, you have this shoes, you have that shoes. Companies came in and they said, we're just going after one market. You're trying to get everything.

we're going to take a little bit of this, we're going to take a little bit of that, we're going to take a little bit of this. And of course the woke stuff doesn't help them. But, you know, this is a right across-the-board issue that they have. You saw Disney just dropped Bob Eichron. They have a new seal that's coming in. Tim Cook has a different story because Tim Cook never got involved in the woke stuff, even though he's the first openly gay CEO of a Fortune 500 company,

when they forced him to give the information on the iPhone and San Bernard. You know what Tim Cook said? I'm not giving nothing to you. He never got into the full woke brand thing, which good for him, you know, for not doing that. So whether Nike is going to recover or not from this, who knows, the market is very, very competitive. You saw a little bit with Lulu Lemon as well, Tom, where Lulu Lemon took a hit. I mean, there's two stories with Lulu Lemon, but one of the stories with Lulu Lemon is, I don't know what page the Lulu Lemon story is. Is it also page 13? Yes.

It's written on Lulu Lemon stock plunge 20% on disappointing. earnings and outlook. So I don't want to stay too long on this story, but they're also going through it with Lulu Lemon. The stock dropped 20%, shares dropped 20%, pre-market after trading on Friday after another disappointing quarter, and slash Outlook revenue 4% comparable with sales, sank 9% second fiscal quarter. The interim CEO blamed negative commentary on social media and a greater than expected slowdown in core categories like leggings, the overall response to our product launches, remain inconsistent, she told. Third quarter guidance calls for revenue for $2.2.2 billion to $2.3.2 billion down roughly 10 or 11%.

So there's some stuff that's going on there. And then there's a story of Lula Lemon's founder, Chip Wilson's 71 years old, going through a divorce. After 20 years of marriage, Bloomberg reported, a family legal proceedings was filed in April. So they're kind of going through their own thing as well. He's worth $6.1 billion. Apparently he had no pre-up in place. So they're wondering what's going to happen there. So this is the nasty part about running a business and having a public life,

you're going to be hit hard. And you have to know what happens when you're public, when you're wealthy, when you're successful, when you're winning, the market's going to be telling your story to the world. And it's not an easy place to be, but this is why I pay so well, because most people don't want to do it and most people cannot do it. They cannot handle the public pressure that comes with. Let me get to the next one here with the public pressure.

So 2028, everybody's wondering who's going to be running for presidents. A lot of conversations of who's going to be running for president. On the left, you see AOC, Newsom, Pritzker, you know, Asoff, Tom's favorite, and some of these names, Shapiro, Josh Shapiro. Some of these names out there. And Kamala still has her support. And Kamala as well, yes, and possibly Hunter Biden and Donald Lemon now saying he's thinking about it.

On the right, you hear stories about, you know, J.D. Vance, maybe Rubio, and a few other names. And J.D. Vance recently was asked about Tucker because Tucker made comments about El Cid. And El Cite is the guy in Michigan. Tucker said I would never vote for the opposing guy, Mike Rogers. I think that his guy's... Put a gun to my head. I don't know if we have that clip in the back. If we have it for us to show it, if you put a gun to my head, I wouldn't vote for him, right?

And is this it? Is this a clip? Go for it. Let's hear this out. Go for it. Mike Rogers is really... I wouldn't vote for Mike Rogers again. gunpoint. Right. And so that's the candidate, the guy, a literal loser who lost when Donald Trump won the state just to show you how much of headwind he had at his back. It's basically a tool of Israel and the intel agencies. Right. How would you run someone like that? I don't even, it doesn't even make sense. So that makes no sense. Well, El Saeed, look, Al-Saiad is a full-blown D-S. He doesn't call himself DSA. He's a full-blown leftist. I've known him for quite a long. I watch his campaign now. It's America First. The amount of times he says, he doesn't even, when he talks

about Israel. He says Israel is committing a genocide, but ultimately, I want to make sure that you don't pay more for health care. I don't want your tax dollars going abroad. You can pause right there. So now, that's El-Sai. So as evil as Mike Rogers is, he's not as evil as El-Side on what he believes in. No. So let's continue to allow more of them to have more power, the DSA, the socialist, the Islamist. And so J.D. Vance was asked about this, his relationship with Tucker, and here's what he had to say. Go for it. of trying to jeopardize U.S.-Israel relations. What do you say to those who are uneasy with your close relationship with Carlson

and claim that you're avoiding addressing a lot of these issues which may be causing divisions within the GOP? Well, look, I'm not avoiding addressing anything. Everybody knows that Tucker Carlson and I are friends, and I think it's very obvious that Tucker has said some things that I disagree with. He said some things about the President of the United States that I think are just wrong. I think yesterday somebody sent me a clip that said that he would support El-Saiad over I think El-Sahed is a crazy person, and I think whatever your views on Mike Rogers' specific policy prescriptions,

I'd like to have a non-crazy person like Mike Rogers representing Michigan and the United States Senate rather than a crazy person like El-Sayed. That said, my attitude towards this, and I try to practice what I preach. And I remember when I became the vice presidential nominee, one of the hardest things for me, personally, is not when people attacked me, but when people attacked my wife, including friends of hers who knew her heart, who knew what a good person she was. And I remember thinking of myself, what a travesty it is, that in the United States of America, we let political disagreements define who our friends are going to be and not going to be. So yeah, Tucker is a friend of mine. Tucker is a friend despite the fact that we disagree on a number of things. And I'm not going to play the game where I throw friends under the bus because I have. How do you feel about that?

I mean, I'm curious of what the president, because you know Trump hears this, how does he think about this? And mind you, J.D. Vance himself used to call Trump all types of names. I don't know if he called him Hitler, literally Hitler or something like that, though. But there's no way that he could not, the president doesn't hear this and he is livid. But again, this is J.D. Vance, who, I mean, you called it out a while ago, Pat. I think, you know, his intentions and what he's going through, I think at some point, especially you remember, especially with Iran when he was in there and he made it almost like

a fact to let everybody know that he was less enthusiastic about the war in Iran. He's just putting these little things so that when he does run he could be like, hey guys, I wasn't with Trump this whole time. I told you guys I was friends with Tucker. I'm not about this war and let's just vote for me

because he's going to distance himself from Trump. You think Trump trust him? I don't think so at all. I don't think so. Especially when the last time when he said, hey, is J.D. Vance going to take you thing? He's like, no. too early. He cut them off very, very quick. It wasn't like, yeah. Recently, he's been going around, apparently, asking people saying, I think JD's the guy.

I think JD's the guy. He's been lobbying for him. So I don't know. I don't know. Tom, where are you at with this? So everybody's running for office. That's where I am. And when they're- Tucker's running for office? I think Tucker's thinking about it. And I think everybody is talking like they're running for office. and J.D. Vance is here talking very carefully to keep the Tucker camp close. That's clear. I think it's very clear. Otherwise, you're going to come out and you're going to support it. And, by the way, you have to remember that, you know, think about political capital, Vinny, and who's angry and who's not. Does it matter if Trump's frustrated with you or pissed off about a comment? No. Does it matter if Trump's support goes away? Yes. So I think, Shady Vance is trying to stay in that lane a little bit. Hey, everybody knows Tucker is my friend. I have a friendship there.

But there's some things he said about the president. I think are just wrong. Okay. But I think this is all running language where everybody's trying to keep camps close, Pat. Yeah, I read it. Adam. I have no clue what this dude is doing.

Let me give you an analogy. Okay, you're my boss. You're my mentor. You're my friend. If someone that I'm very good friends with is publicly talking trash about you. And I'm your co-host. I'm your vice president.

At one point, I'm going to say, hey, listen, buddy, I'm with Team Pat. That's my boss. You're really making things look very weird for me right now. Please stop. At that point, that guy can continue to do what he's doing or actually stop. What's happening is Tucker has basically heard that,

hey, you're really making life worth. Tucker goes, yeah, F you and your boss. At some point you say, no, no, no, Tucker was my friend. He is no longer my friend. I don't understand how this relationship is sustainable. If my good friend, who I am still calling a good friend, is publicly talking trash, not only about my president, about my administration, and literally single-handedly ruining my chances of becoming president,

you would have to do more than slap me in the face to get me to wake up. I have no clue what he's doing. And if J.D. Vance thinks he's just going to basically inherit the MAGA coalition as if everything's cool, no issues. J.D., you got another thing coming, brother. I don't get it. I don't understand the move. And for all the people that are basically still romanticizing Tucker, like, well, he was so great on Fox. Things have clearly changed.

At some point, you have to acknowledge, he may have been your friend, but he is no longer your friend. Yeah, you know, the other day I was watching the debate between the president and Jeb Bush. And because I was preparing for the Ted Cruz interviews, so I was kind of watching some of this old debate stuff. And it was one of the ones where he got up and he said, hey, you see all the people that are clapping? These are all the people that support Jeb Bush. You know why? Because they told us pre-debate. The only people that are going to be able to get tickets for seats is.

I was trying to get seats for my family and friends. I couldn't get anyone because it was all the big donors that gave money here, right? It's true, and then they started booing. It's true. Listen, this is all what they're doing. They can do this all they want. And then in one of the exchange. So think about who Trump targeted on the Republican side. Not the Democratic side.

In the primary, Trump went out and all the guys that were there, the Carsons, the Huckabee, the other guys that were there, the Ted Cruz. There was even a guy named Scott Walker. Scott Walker, who was supposed to be the guy. Little Marco. Marco Rubio. And Paul, it was quite a few then. What was a lady, the CEO of us?

Early Philarino? Yeah. So what did Trump do? He attacked and he went after a lot of these guys. Chris Christie. And you got to think about how different is the 2027, 2028 primary going to be. Is it going to be one of those things, Tom, where do you remember the Democratic debate what it was like that they wouldn't fight? I don't know if you remember it.

Oh, yeah. And there was no way to do shadow. You could buy him. It's like, you know, Joe, I don't appreciate what you did with the buses and, you know, whatever it was. I don't know if you remember that thing. It really made me. So she went on on him, right? And then the, I'm right here.

I'm right here, Joe. I was in 2020, I believe. There's no women that are leaders in. I'm right here. I don't know if it's 2020. I think that's 2016. Yeah. Was it 2020?

No, no, because. No, you're right. Joe didn't run in 2016. I don't know if it's, it could have been. Anyways. Yeah, yeah, it was 20. So when you, when you think about that, how is this one going to be? and which ones are going to hurt people?

Because I think the way J.D. is doing it. And remember, guys, like the way in sports, sometimes you win with a quarterback, sometimes Baltimore Ravens won without a quarterback. And they won with a defense. Sometimes you win with a center. And the NBA nowadays wins without center. Sometimes you win with a, you know,

what do you call it, the three, a big three. Big three. Sometimes you win with a big one. And just a cycle killer comes in and crushes everybody, right? So I think the 2028 campaign is going to be very different because the guy you're going up against is not Trump. But at the same time, the part that you have to be very, very careful with,

I have guys that try to be way too diplomatic. You know what ends up happening to them? They get crushed. You really do. People need to know your position where you are. Because if you don't know the position, I walk into a room and I'm like, I don't really know where that guy stands. So if I don't know where you stand,

I don't know where to go with you. And there is an element of power there for that individual, but not the power to win at the highest level. You can't. Trump made it clear. I'm not this, this, rhinos this, bullshit this, this, this, this, this, this. And then you went up there.

You know, some people call us and say, hey, Pat, you know, got to be careful, man, you're in Florida. You don't want to call anybody out in Florida that could end up being your governor. I'm going based on my values. I don't need any of these guys. I'm not trying to do what I'm doing because, and to me, that vibe I got was Trump.

Trump was like, no, here's what I stand for. I don't need you. I don't need to be scared of walking on exos for you. Who are you? He kind of went up. So I don't know this idea of, you know, the relationships and how this going to pan out. Are you thinking like you're going to be on stage and you're there and Tucker's camp is there and they support you as well as conservatives who don't like what he stands for? you think that percentage outweighs the other one? I don't know.

Yeah, I watched Stephen Miller's wife who runs this podcast. She does a pretty good job, by the way. She asked Marco Rubio, whether it was this interview or another one, it was one of the ones where Mark Rubio was asked about Trump, and then he says, look, politics is nasty, and you compete and he says certain things. But let me tell you what happened with me. The moment I started working with Trump, I just realized how great of a man he was and how he kept this word

and how he was good to all of us and how he was this and how he was that. And, you know, you kind of sit there. You're like, well, is that what JD's strategy is? I don't know. I don't understand what's going to be happening here. I just wonder if in his mind he's trying to keep everybody happy to run. And unfortunately, if there is no other contender, that strategy could work for him. Because he may be thinking to himself, you know what's the biggest gift JD needs?

So, so Byron Donald's kind of got away without having to do the debates and getting all the heat. He avoided, but he's a debate dodger. You can't, you can't dispute that. You know, and so is this going to be Rubio's, JD's strategy is going to be, oh, dude, I'm going to only do two primary debates. And if that, because I'm going to have such a massive lead where J.D.'s biggest goal between now and primary is what? One goal. Anything and everything for one man not to run. And for that one man not to run is who? Marco Roo. Is Marco.

If Marco doesn't run, J.D. Vance equals Byron Donald's. I don't need to debate. Good point. I don't need to debate. So watch if he even makes the case to say he's only going to debate once, which by the way, JD doesn't have to worry about debating he's a freaking phenomenal debater I don't think he has to worry about the debates

and the callouts and it's not like he has a lot of crazy shit that people can call him out on you know what are they going to say he's got a good life, good wife, family, values what are you going to say to JD? It's not like he has a rap sheet he doesn't have that right?

So to me I think JD's biggest strategy is if I go up against anyone on the left I can handle AOC, I can handle this, I can handle that. He's just got to convince one Republican not to run. And that's Marco Rubio. That's his number one strategy above it.

He will never say this because they're friends. He'll never say this. But his number one goal is to make, because the only person formidable enough to beat him is Marco Rubio. What are the odds you think that Marco does run in 2008? You're right. This is the strategy they all use. This is what Hillary, remember she was trying to do what they call clear the decks.

And by the way, to the Republicans out there, your goal. should be everything and anything for Marco Rubio to run. Why? Because we need the debate. We need the better talent. And it could be JD still winning. It could be Rubio still winning.

But you need that competition. We can't have this model up. Oh, Byron doesn't need to debate. I hate that. I wish you know how much I hate that. Okay? I hate that. He doesn't need to debate.

He's already got everybody beat. They don't need to show up. Is that really the brand of the Republican Party that we even dodge each other? Maybe Lieutenant Governor Collins had a good argument. Maybe Renner, I think Paul Renner needed the eyeballs because I think he's actually talent. Fishback's got a younger audience.

You're going to say no, you don't think you've fired them up even more. So I hope if Republicans are out there that you really want it, I hope you want that debate. I hope you want Rubio and Vance on stage. I just don't know how they're going to handle it. Because I don't know either one of them were going to be hardcore tack mode. You know, as Secretary State, I think Rubio is the greatest Secretary State of all time.

I've said this on record many times. It was so easy to work with him, you know, and da-da-da-da-da. What? All right. Yeah. So then what? And that's why I think, I personally, I don't know, I don't think. What are the odds that you think that Marco runs in 2000?

I'm not saying that we hope. I don't know, man. I think there's a lot of talks that he's not planning on. I hope that's not good. And you know why? You know what I think? They're going to put all their force behind J.D. Vance. And I'm telling you right now,

because how many times does Marco run for president? This will be his... Just that once in 20. So this will be his second time. Yeah. I don't think if he doesn't think he's going to win, what, he's going to run again this one, with J.D. being the lead and then lose again.

And then what, in four years, he's going to run again? Look, I think we're all bringing up Marco Rubio because we know what a former old candidate he is. I think that time will come when he has to make a decision. I want to bring this back to J.D. Vance. What percentage do you think you want to give J.D. credit for Trump getting elected in 2020?

Let me tell you why this story I kind of like, and I got four other stories to get into, but I definitely want to get into this L.A. Clippers story. So let me get the straight. The Clippers lose five first round draft picks. Okay. Tom, I'm only going to this one because only the two of us know about the NBA. The Clippers lose five first round draft picks. They get fined $30 million.

and they win zero championships, and Charles Barkley stays right, because Charles Barkley has the best quote about the clippers. He says, I've been rich, I've been poor. I've been fat, I've been skinny. The clippers have sucked all along, okay? The clippers have sucked all along. So here's the story about the clippers that people quietly, it's just kind of almost died off a little bit.

I think we need to revive this Clippers scandal a little bit of what happened. The NBA landmark ruling against the Clippers is now a PR headache for ESPN. On August 17, ESPN cited unnamed sources saying the league had no evidence Steve Balmer funneled money to Kauai Leonard, framing that setup in ESPN versus Pablo narrative against Pablo Toro, whose Pulitzer winning reporting on Leonard, sponsored ties the NBA findings just validated. The NBA find the team, Clippers, $30 million. find Leonard $700,000, suspended Balmer for a year.

While it might be accurate and awarding, the substance of the story was very misleading, says PR executive Brian McWilliams, NBA spokesperson Mike Bass, said the story contains numerous and significant inaccuracies. Tori said ESPN never ran statement standing by his reporting. ESPN's Shams Karania was then criticized for saying on TV that Leonard did not have any knowledge, while noting that he pocketed tens of millions of dollars fancy the outcome, which is starkly in contrast. And ESPN reporting, McWilliam said,

the audience just needs an explanation, added consultant Sam Gawshier. Tom, thoughts on this story. So I'll tell you what I think about this story. I think there's a couple things going on here and they all stink. Number one, the NBA incredibly created an even bigger distraction to move eyes away from the WNBA and distraction in the summer of embarrassment and incompetence. Number one, I think.

But number two, I think they need to be careful about this. Are they sure that everybody else is clean, Pat? Are you sure? Because that was the argument by some of the players that admitted in baseball what was going on with steroids. Remember that? There were some players that admitted it and said, dude, you have no idea how widespread this was. And even these players that were involved were saying,

I think the league liked it because it was high scoring and it was excitement and it was home runs. and we had come back from the strike. Right now, what I think, you know, people have to pay attention. You people, Tom. Like people. No, I mean the audience. Yes. The audience needs to understand.

What do you mean, you people? Go ahead, continue. I'm with you. What do you mean? You're taking me to Bernie? No, no, no. I'm just telling you, Topic Thunderwark stay focused. But 12 years ago, remember Steve Balmer got the NBA out of a ditch.

Donald Sterling. And Sterling had the lawyers and the ability to get that thing clogged in court so that they couldn't force him to sell. And they were like, crap, what do we do? Balmer put $2 billion in cash down. He also then, remember what else he did? He built a $2 billion stadium without a penny of public money. He supported getting NBA back into Seattle.

He thinks the team should be there back as soon as possible. He also supported the Sacramento Kings with what they were doing going through things. So is he guilty or innocent as what they're. charging. I don't know. I'll leave that to the allegations of the MBA and to their own, you know, court as they have it. But there were 29 other owners, Pat, that benefited from what Balmer did and have seen their franchises go up by billions and billions of dollars. And I think the timing of this and the public nature of this stinks. That's what I think. I want to know, I mean, the NBA knows how to do secret suspensions, don't they? Let's not go there. But

They certainly know how to do that, but this whole thing, to me, really stinks. There have been, when you do enforcement, you're trying to do things on salary cap, the creativity of owners will run faster than enforcement. That's how entrepreneurship works. It'll work faster than you can put guardrails. And what this also says is, I'll argue the other way, that the reason that they paid some of the money is because some of these players were worth it. And under the current split and collective bargaining, they couldn't get the dollars they were worth.

And it only takes one owner to say, you know what? I want to get you. I'm going to break this, but this is the way you're going to do it. But I think the whole thing stinks. Okay, by the way, so the position, the Clippers came out, the General Counsel, wrote out a whole thing saying this is completely unfair because Balmer alone, you know how much legal fees? Balmer spent on this?

$50 million of just legal fees on this, okay? On top of that, if you remember, there was a company that was an LA company that the Clippers came allegedly and said, hey, you give, so they did a sponsorship deal with Quay Leonard. I don't know what the company's name was. Inspiration, aspiration, something like that. Aspiration. And they gave a $28 million endorsement deal to Kauai Leonard. But guess what happened to this aspiration company? They went bankrupt.

So wait a minute. What are you talking about? So they lose this five years of first round draft pick. If the clippers flip and say, oh, really? You're going to do this to us? No problem. The clippers now go hire investigators. You don't think they've already done that? They're going to go in, indirectly drop stories on three, five, ten other organizations that have done this with different players. And so if this goes through, and this is public humiliation like this to the Clippers, I think what Tom is saying is correct. You could have a few other teams in the next six,

12, 24 months that may be dealing with a similar story like this, if not a worded out. Oh, you think that could be a other. Oh, oh, oh, wait, you mean to tell me other people haven't creatively found a way to funnel money to players? Really? You don't remember how Magic Johnson got 5% equity in the Lakers 40 years ago. I don't know what the number was, but he got equity in the Lakers. This is pre, like you couldn't do it anymore. But I think Magic got a ton of equity in the Lakers because everybody wanted Magic Johnson. And Jerry Buss helped him.

Yeah, Magic Johnson sold this 4.5% stake in the Lakers October 2020 for roughly 27 to 30 million dollars. By the way, you know what that 4.5% would have been worth today? $500 million. Actually, no, 600 million dollars today because it's 4.5% on $12 billion. So sell it. Huh? Why'd he sell? Because he probably at the time it was a lot of money when he sold it. He didn't know if it was going to get this high. Adam, thoughts on this for your amateur thing. There's what?

No, no, go ahead. Keep going. Look, I think, I feel like teams always come up with creative ways to basically defer compensation. Did I miss something? He goes, go ahead with your amateur team. Listen, you know. You didn't even catch you. It just went right on. Oh, my God. That's so freaking.

Look. Do you remember when the. Mets, they signed, I think, Bobby Bonilla to like a 20-year contract. And like they paid him like a million dollars a year. They're still paying him. They're still paying him. There's creative ways to have deferred compensation or workarounds or circumvent the situation.

But you know the bottom line is you want to have an ROI on your investment, right? So if you're going to do these things, these shady things, these questionable things, these potentially illegal things, you're actually going to want to have some sort of return on your investment that actually shows, wow, we won a championship. Wow, we really did well. The clippers sell still perennial losers. The clippers are the antithetical Achilles heel of the Lakers. And I'm using Achilles heel as a recent shout-out to Kobe right there.

The clippers have done all this to just become bigger losers. That's the bigger problem I have. Now, we're going to find out exactly what happens here. I think Still, Bulmer is, I think, banned for a year. He has to pay $30 million. but the challenge that I have is, are you telling me Kauai is basically getting off Scott for a year? He's paying how much, $700,000? Stephen A. Smith, shout out to him and came to the vault with his team.

He basically said this is ridiculous. Kauai Leonard should either be suspended for the year without pay, because I think he's making about $40, $50 million a year, or he can pay, can play, and actually make no money this year. but to play an entire year and basically have only get to lose $700,000 to me is absurd. Because are you telling me that Kauai Runner had no clue was going on here? No, no, no, no. That he's innocent here. I'm so with you. To me, that's BS. And then on top of that, the load manager

He's the, not only is he the, alpha, the other owners should be getting behind this guy. Can I make one just very, very, because you know me, I'm more of, you know, soccer, baseball, football. With the pictures and everything, you're like, wait, that quickly they took over Maduro? They did. Then you hear this deal. And you sit there and say, well, this is pretty ridiculous deal. Trump Hale's biggest oil deal in world history. with Venezuela. Look, you got to give the man credit on this one on what he just did.

And I'll tell you why this is so important here in a minute, but let me read it to you. President Trump said Friday that the U.S. struck a deal with Venezuela to take control of oil fields, holding 65 billion barrels of reserve writing the United States of America has just entered into an agreement with the country of Venezuela

on the biggest oil deal in world history. Not U.S. history, world history is source, described the arrangement as a public-private partnership among the U.S. private companies and Venezuela. It's not a purchase. They're giving us equity. A U.S. government source said adding the U.S. would get off, take, oil, guarantee crude exchange at cost.

The Pentagon Office of Strategic Capital would oversee its Secretary of State. Marco Rubio, who negotiated the interim president, Delci Rodriguez, called it a huge one promising nearly $100 billion in private investments for Venezuela. Rodriguez said the deal means $209 billion in additional tax revenue. for her country, administration officials initially disagreed on whether it was finalized, but after Rodriguez's a statement once said, it's going to happen, it's just a question of when. And this led Chevron to invest $7 billion to double its Venezuelan output. And at first, if you remember, the Chevron seal was a little bit skeptical.

He said, no, we're going to invest $7 billion over five years to more than double its Venezuelan crude output. The largest commitment yet by U.S.-led revival of the country's oil industry, it won rights to develop the Carabobo 1 and Carabobo 2 South A Fields in the Orinoco Belt besides the joint venture. So this is, we're building very formidable position in what we consider to be some of the best geology in the country. C.O. Mike Ward said, this is multiple billions of barrels of resource in place. Chevron expected about 600 billion barrels a day by 2031. That costs under $20 a barrel versus roughly 91 brands. Tom, why is this such a big deal?

This is such a big deal because you know what Trump just did? Trump just pulled a China on the rest of the world. Everybody talks about China and says, hey, they don't think short term. They think long term. We've talked about this, Pat, right? They think long term. Trump just thought long term. This is going to have an effect, but it's not going to have an effect on Tuesday.

What does Joe Biden do? He rapes the strategic petroleum reserve, throwing oil out on the market to get the price of gas down, running into 2024 election, and it didn't work. work. That is a short-term move that hurts. We still haven't filled up the SPR. Refilled it yet. Well, guess what? This is a long-term play. It's going to take as it says, Chevron is putting the money in, but it's going to take one or two years to start getting more of it out. But what was hidden in here is they're expecting 600,000 barrels a day by 2031, which is not that long coming, at $20 a barrel extraction cost, Pat. $20.

a barrel. Why? Because they're going to build new mining and... Versus 93 Brent. Tom, let me ask you a question. How much of this has to do with, you know, Iran? And let me explain what I mean by this. You put these heavy sanctions on Iran. Iran's economy is getting hurt tremendously. Behind closed doors, they hit a couple of our ships, right, over the weekend, I think, in the last few days. And what did Trump do? Did you see what Trump posted yesterday which video? Did you see the video Trump posted yesterday? What would happen to Carg Island if we bombed Carg Island? What was it yesterday? Have you guys

seen this video or no? Can you post it? Yeah, this is us getting hit at the straight of Hormuz. And but Trump posted a video if you can go to the video of Trump saying what would happen if Cargoylan was hit. Can you go to the clip of Cargallon clip that he just posted? Yeah, I mean, so this is this is legit stuff of what they did. But Trump goes and says here's just with Carg Island. Yeah, there you go.

Carg Island. He posted a video showing, look at these damages, bye-bye, Carg. He just did this, okay? So show in, we're about to attack you, what are you going to do?

Do you think a part of this, Tom, has to call China and say China? I know the 8% you rely of the oil you get from Iran, we got you. I'm going to score this away for you, and I'm going to get it for you at a cost. So you're going to save some money. Maybe we'll make a nickel on it. Maybe we'll make $5, $10. Maybe we'll sell it at $30, okay, instead of about $20. Do you think a part of that is also being played here or not

at all. There's no correlation between the two. I think it absolutely is. This is 3D chess. The first thing is now long term, we've got more reserves coming in. What also is happening here, people got to take a look at these numbers that are going to be going into infrastructure

in Venezuela, $209 billion in tax revenue for the company to build water pumping that works 24 hours a day maybe, electrical power stations that work 24 hours a day maybe, and to rebuild what was once a very proud country. And now, I think that's first layer of chess. Second layer of chess. China needs oil.

And if there is a permanent destabilization of Iran or Carg Island needs to be rebuilt over a couple years, hint, what you're talking about, Pat, that hurts China. And then you go to China. And I've always felt that the best way to pay off our national debt was to drill an ANWR and sell to China at below world market, but at a profit over extraction. And now slowly pay off our debt and make China pay off our debt. And China's part of the reason we have the debt here in terms of trade and balance and things. So I think there's 3D chess going on and there is a big number going on with China. If you put your foot on the hose on one side and become a major energy exporter on the other side,

then you can balance your relationship a little bit more with China. And everybody's going to get in the comments and say, no, no, no, China's going in the back door to do this. Really? You can only go in the back door if there's still a backyard. And if Karg Island is disrupted, then there may be a back door for China, but there's still a backyard full of oil. While you're saying there's no back door, Xi hasn't visited the Middle East since 2020, and he just visited Egypt. He just got to Egypt. So, yeah.

You don't think they're trying? They're trying. Well, in Egypt is different. it could be a statement of saying, hey, we're not relying on the Gulf states because the Gulf states are all with Trump and he's kind of worried. This is his way of maybe showing like,

hey, Iran, I can't go to Iran. If he goes to Iran, it's public saying, I'm with Iran if he does that. There's no question about it. But going to Egypt as a back channel to say, hey, we're still having some relationships with Iran of way of showing it. But I do think there's something with this

that has to do with China and Iran because behind closed doors, if the U.S. is trying to destroy Iran's economy, and put that kind of pressure on them, you have to make the phone call to China and make China right for them to be okay with it. Because if you don't get that relationship right, you're kind of screwed, Adam.

Yeah, you know, people say the term 3D chess with Trump. I use a different term, which is sequencing, which you always use. Because if you play this out, what did Trump basically say that he's going to do day one that he got into office? He's going to drill baby drill.

So just follow the sequencing of what he did. He basically declared, a national emergency with our oil situation. The Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which is based in the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana. So what did he do? He changed the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, symbolic and literal for our strategic oil reserve.

Then he basically said, Alaska, I'm going to have you start drilling up there over there, get into everything that's going to Alaska. Then he implemented the Don Roe Doctrine. He said, before we do anything with Iran, let's focus on the Western Hemisphere. All right, we're going to take down the Panama Canal, and before we do anything in Iran,

we're going to go basically capture Maduro and take over Venezuela. Who's been running Venezuela since the beginning of the year? Well, it's the viceroy, they call Marco Rubio, just another little costume that Marco Rubio can put on. So then before they even went to Iran, they locked down our Strategic Petroleum Reserve, they basically produced more oil, they controlled the supply,

they're pumping oil internally, And they said, all right, before we even go into Iran, let's make sure that we have everything. What do they say? Dairy the hatchet or... Of all your ducks in order. When you basically hold down the hatchet, whatever they call about with that, he basically secured everything in our hemisphere, said, before we go over to Iran, we're good to go. So as much as we give Trump, we call him like an irrational actor.

Some people basically say he's a crazy man. seems as if it was all strategic sequencing from day one, from drill baby drill all the way to Iran. I'm at 65 billion barrels. How long would that last us? Tom, how long would that last? Oh, my God. Like, we're good. No, yeah, because you have to think about this way. I believe our usage is 21 million barrels a day, I think is our usage. And I think our self-creation, our drilling is 14 million barrels a day. So we have a net of six that we get from other places. However, not all of that $14 million is usable here, so we actually sell it abroad. And then we own the natural gas market.

We're providing 60% of natural gas to Europe. And so now what you do, when some of this comes in like this, good Lord. You know, you're talking about billions and billions. I think this is big. This is huge. I think this is big. And I hope there's an intention with Iran in mind, because every day that goes by is one less day Iran has to deal with Trump.

Every day, if JD gets elected or AOC gets elected, Iran's free. And so when you have this much pressure on Iran, this long, everybody in the world realized dealing with Iran is a lot more complicated than you think. It's not Venezuela. They have their shit together. They've been ready for this for a long time. The chances of you creating this level of tension again could take a very, very long time. So if you're here, you're going to do it.

You might as well get it down. Let me get to the next story. Next thing I want to get to is a story of a father who is out there. I'll read the story to you. Can you pull up this clip, please? And mind you, how many times for a year, two years? By the way, she's permanently disabled. Permanently disabled. June 2024. His daughter's never going to walk again because this guy wasn't here because the left likes to have these people come in here because they're a part of their voting block.

They're not going to talk about that. They're going to protect the voting block. And how they protect the voting block here is they don't say anything, Jamie Raskin.

They just sit there, just stalled. And this is what sickens me. In pursuit of a voting block, they give up a country. Yeah, I'm with it, Adam. I remember a time when there was really no major clear distinction between Republicans and Democrats. I remember when the first time I voted was in 2000 was Al Gore versus Bush. And I remember being like, what's the difference between Republicans and Democrats? 25 years later, you're talking two fundamentally, totally different parties.

And if there's one thing that you can differentiate between what Trump and MAGA stands for and what the modern Democratic Party controlled by the DSA stands for, it comes down to one thing and that is this open border situation. It turns out this open border thing that Biden was doing, oh my God, I don't know how we're going to control it.

Trump shut that thing down in one day. And now illegal border crossings is basically at nothing at this point. And these are the ramifications of the consequences of what happens back when you let, I don't know, 10 plus million people in the country.

So when we say elections have consequences, this is exactly what we're talking about right here. And it could be very crazy in 2028, folks. It could be a very different America. We could be doing a podcast in 2028, 2029 in a very different climate. And I'm not even kidding with you. I agree. In a very different climate. Okay.

Up with some good stories. Tiger Woods changes plea in the U.I. case, driver's license suspended for five years. And I think that's actually a good story. Tiger Woods pleaded no contest in his DUI case Wednesday in a Florida court, except in a five-year driver's license suspension as part of a plea deal. the first charge was amended to reckless driving, second offense, and then the second to careless driving with suspension running concurrently. The suspension is for the safety of the public.

There's no exceptions. If you were to drive for any reason at all, you would go immediately back to jail. Woods was arrested March 27 after a rollover crash on Jupiter Island and one, no one was injured. Authority said he clipped the truck's trailer while passing, tipping his SUV. The two hydro condone pills were found in his pants pocket. The affidavit said a breathalizer shows no alcohol, but Woods refused a urine test. So, you know, this is not a story I want to spend a lot of time on.

I love Tiger Woods. I think Tiger was one of those guys that you just loved watching his story when seeing go from who he was as a kid to winning to the incredibly disciplined family. He was raised in from a young age. It was on Johnny Carson golf and people like, Who was this two-year-old kid, hitting the golf ball the way he did? And if you've ever seen his documentary, there's two different tigers. There's the extremely psycho-competitive tiger that wants to kill you.

And there's the lighthearted, fun, chill child that just wants to be a kid and enjoy himself. I was in a poker tournament one time with Tiger, with him, Russell Westbrook and Phil Holmuth and a bunch of different guys. Ortiz was there. And, you know, I had a conversation with Tiger. We're sitting there having a conversation taking on. I'm like, this guy does not look. He looks like he's in a ton of pain. Like, you looked at his face.

You're having a conversation with him. You could tell the man isn't a ton of pain. It comes a certain time in your life where you seriously should not drive. You seriously shouldn't be driving. The world's a better place without Tiger Woods driving. And by the way, that includes for his own family. You're a billionaire. You have the money.

And, you know, like personalities like me, Vinnie, I like to drive. I know you do. to get up in a car and go. I don't want to just sit there and wait. Well, just guess what? Have the driver stay in the car all day. Anytime you want to go, let them just take you. Wherever you want to go to. There's an element of privacy when you're driving. You know what I'm saying? Like you just, you want a bit of privacy to yourself. Make it as private as you want in the back. Get some kind of a nice limo where the back is so private that the driver cannot hear who you're talking to, what you're doing, any of that stuff.

Sometimes if you're with a driver, they know exactly, if I'm on the road driving with a driver, they can hear anything and everything. You don't have the kind of a privacy. But I'm glad this has happened And I'm happy for him And I actually think his family's also probably Happy that a Tiger Woods is not going to be driving And please, Tiger, whatever you're doing, So many people love you and care for you sincerely

Don't try to do this And we have to see a video of you going to jail Because the judge already told you if you drive you going to jail Don't risk it I know certain personalities of ours We like to break rules and we think we can get away with stuff I don't know the last time Trump trolled There's a video of Trump driving in his blue Lamborghini

and he's telling his son, look, everybody loves me. And Don Jr. told the story. They're flipping off my dad and my dad saying, Don, look, everybody loves me. Everybody loves me. I think you're at that level that you just got to go enjoy yourself, be with your family, do your thing. If you come back to golf, awesome, great.

We'll celebrate. If not, you're in a league of your own and a good support around you, which sounds like you obviously have it. You have support from the president all the way at the top. You're friends with them. A ton of people are rooting for you. That would be my feedback to Tiger.

I'm kind of glad he's not going to be doing that, Tom. I'll be real quick. I get annoyed with the media. They love to see a celebrity, and they love to throw things in the story, and they're saying, hydrocodone was found in his pocket. Hydrocodone is a painkiller, and he has got excruciating pain in his knee and his ankle when he's warming up, apparently, it takes a while to get those going in the morning. And these are painkillers that he has on a prescription basis for that pain.

He's an athlete that's got residual pain. He's also had injuries to that knee. that that and it just kind of disgust me that people don't see a person first all it's good that he's not driving get a driver tiger and all the golf jokes about drivers set them aside get yourself a professional driver that can go with you but to the rest of you that see the little bits in there this is you know you's prescribed these things and so we want to make it like you some junkie or something i'm not trying to make a joke out of this i don't make it a joke no i'm not talking about you i'm going to talk about the media

likes to grab it and connect dots. You're Tiger, you're going to. He already knows you're the greatest of all time. Without your injuries, you would have passed the Jack Nicholas record. Everybody knows this. The run that he had was second to not. But Adam. I'll just say two things.

One good, one bad. The bad, there is zero excuse for Tiger to be behind the wheel. At these days, the ability to take an Uber for someone who just makes minimum wage, much less have being a millionaire, much less be a person worth a half a billion dollars, there's zero excuse. You have zero leniency for me. Thank God he didn't kill himself. Think I didn't even kill someone else.

Zero leniency. You see incidents like Tony Romo last month or with Justin Timberlake last year, double dump. At the same time, if there's anybody in need of an image makeover, of a new PR person, a new everything all around him, for new opportunities at Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods is one of the most beloved athletes of all time. And America loves a comeback story. And I think nothing that we would love to see more than Tiger, get his shit together and have a comeback.

It's just the next phase. Go be the father, help your son become, you know, go play a different role in life. You've done your part. Time to move on. I want to show you guys a clip here. And then maybe we'll wrap up on this and we'll finish it up. Is, you know, I'm 47 years old. I'm 47 years old, God's given me an incredible life.

I've had dinner with some of the most interesting people in the world. I've had conversations with my phone rings, and sometimes I have no clue who's going to call me. And all of a sudden, I'm like, oh, okay, very weird phone calls you get at this phase. Had the calls, had the jewelry, had the house, had everything, all the stuff that you want to experience. It's been an incredible life, the family, all of it. Rick Warren, who wrote the book Purpose Driven Life, which I think sold 50 million copies. Okay. he's given a commencement speech at a university.

What do you call those speeches when he give out of university? You're right. He's right. And he explains to these students what matters the most. He says, I've been betside by thousands of people who have died or took their last breath. That's an incredible amount of wisdom and experience while you're there with people who are about to die. I want you to listen to this. I don't you listen to this?

Because I think we need to be reminded of this more often. go forward. I've stood at the bedside of maybe thousands of people as they took their last breath. What people say in their final moments is pretty important. They don't mess around when people are dying in their last words. Nobody has ever said, Pastor Rick, bring me my trophies. I want to look at them one more time. Or even bring me my college graduation certificate.

I want to look at it one more time. When people are dying and they know their time is short, what they want in the room is not things or trophies or achievement. What they want are the people they love. Eventually, we all eventually figure out that it's all about love. It's all about relationships. I just pray you'll figure it out a whole lot sooner. That it's not about achievement. That it's not about fame.

That it's not about fortunes. That it's not about all the things that you dream of accomplishing in life. Those are great goals. But Paul says without love, I am nothing. I am a sounding brass and tinkling symbol. If I have not love, I'm nothing. Don't you wish you could just hit skip on the worst parts of your life? You know, the same way you can skip an ad?

I get it. I'm Siaiaa and I live in Ice Cove. I've made some questionable decisions that didn't end up the way I planned. And today I'm still figuring it out. Listen. I've gone to the world's craziest places with people that I didn't enjoy their company. I was miserable. And I've gone to freaking Chipotle with my favorite people in the world. And I'm happier there than I was happier being in freaking, you know, take a country to go to that everybody wants to go. to. People matter. Your relationships matter. And as you age, there is nothing like building the right community. It is on us to do it. And by the way, this is also something we have to do for ourselves, for our kids. You know, the goal in life is for you to build a good community

around your kids. When we go to dinner and Bailey's in town and she's telling me what's going on with her at Rice and what she wants to do next on law school and seeing the kids talking. And Tom's telling me yesterday, he calls me how particular you. detective she is of Tico and her, you know, that's like their younger brother because they hang out with each other. That's the community. We just talked about earlier when we tell them some of these stories about, you know, what if this person's values were this? What if that person's values were there? Were you good with your kids being around them?

Some of the most important things you'll do in life. It's got to be in your top three list. Top five list is finding the right community of people you love, whom you feel safe to, that you can say anything. you know it's not going to leak. You know it's going to stay amongst you. You know they're going to defend you. You know they're going to protect you. You know they're not going to cross the cardinal rules of wife, daughter, kids, family, disrespect.

You know all that. You can have all the money in the world and you don't have that. You're broke in my eyes. You have to water those relationships. There is nothing like it. There's nothing like it. You know, I always say people make fun of me. I almost want to change my Twitter profile.

fall in just say I'm a numbers guy. So, my bad, it's a numbers guy. I'm a numbers guy. I'm a numbers guy. I love two things, man. I love people and I love numbers. It was my thing when I went into the financial industry. And this year's vault conference was very emotional. It was something different. You know this behind the scenes, all the stuff that we did.

It was a very different kind of an event. And if you were there, we shared a magical, magical bond together. We laughed, we cried, all of it. It was phenomenal. Folks, whatever you do, Just go find the right community for the sake of your kids yourself. Sometimes we don't think about how big of a role a community plays. You know, when Stephen A, we're having lunch one of the days,

I don't know what we were at. You were still selling merch because people were coming to your left and right. We're having lunch with Stephen A and his whole crew is there. And his daughter got into USC and a pretty, pretty very cool school program that she got into. And hey, she says, hey, dad, I did my part. I got my 4.0 plus GPA. Now it's on you to do your part. And Stephen A's got a community.

So he can make a phone call and have some of that stuff. So imagine if you have relationships like this. Protect this community. Long term, it could be the impact for your kids. You're going to need that one phone call. By the way, you will be judged by friends you keep. I'll never forget one time I was at Grant Cardone's podcast. And he said something.

He's talking to one of our guys, Paulus Garcigal. Paulie. Paulie is a funny guy, man. But he says, never marry a shrimp. And Paul's like, what are you talking about? He says, never marry shrimp. Paul's confused that this time. And then we start talking about marriage.

He says, you know, half the battle is you can marry somebody like me. But he says, can my wife keep me? He said this. He says, you can have a great friend, but can you keep him? You can have a great wife or a husband? Can you keep him? You can have a great relation, but can you keep them? The retention is happening in 80% of the job.

You can get into the door, but can you keep that relationship? All the money in the world, folks, won't come close to the community you build. And for those of you guys that stayed with us on Labor Day, you should be barbecuing today. Barbecue. Should be out there like sleeping in today. Isn't that what most people do?

But the crazy one stayed with us today. So for me to you, thank you for tuning in with us, especially the ones that were on for the entire time.
