Starting point is 00:00:00 Did you ever think you would make it? I still am supposed to take sweet that's tough me. You know this life meant for me. Adam, what's your point? The future looks bright. The handshake is better than anything I ever signs, right? You are a 101? My son's right there.
Starting point is 00:00:20 I think I've ever said this before. Right. So for some of you that used to listen to freestyle music, I have this morning, Vinny, we're listening to TCA. What do you know about TKA louder than love? They don't know. You know, spring love. Come back to me. Because I love you, you know, by your Stevie B.
Starting point is 00:00:42 And who else do we play this? Oh, Shannon. Let the music play. Don't get away. That's what's been happening this morning. And Tom's looking at us like, what the hell are they talking about? I'm just doing bong hits.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Listen to you doing bong hits. So if you know freestyle, And if you're above 40 and you listen to freestyle, put the best freestyle songs below. I want to see what you put up there. And we've got a lot of stories to cover here today. One of them is, you guys don't even know. Vladimir Guerrero gets a $500 million dollar contract and they ask him, hey, your season sucked. You went to the World Series last.
Starting point is 00:01:20 You almost won the whole thing. You guys kick off game seven with a three-run, home run. You're supposed to beat the Dodgers. And he has a horrible season, gets a half a billion dollars. And he says, they didn't pay me for what to do this year. They're paying me for what I did before. What a shitty attitude. What a horrible attitude to act like that.
Starting point is 00:01:38 And it was my favorite world series I ever watch. Anyways, we'll talk about that. And then we got some sports stuff we'll talk about. We got the midterms. There are so many stories about midterms. I don't even know which ones to put. So we got a category that just says, midterm warning signs.
Starting point is 00:01:53 And by the way, the warning signs are all for Republicans. Watch this. Number one, 17 Republicans in close races break with Trump on Iran War. That's a problem. Let's see what happens there. Midterm candidates are dumping debates. 21 out of 36, gubernatorial races may not have a debate. The new thing to do is let's not debate, right?
Starting point is 00:02:14 In a society of freedom of speech, let's not debate. Let's not sit there and debate issues. I don't want to talk to the other person. Let me get the straight. If you don't want to sit and talk to other people to get deals done, how the hell are you going to be a person that's getting deals done when you become a governor? How do you make, give me the reassurance to know you're going to be able to do that? I don't know about some of the things they're doing right now with these governors,
Starting point is 00:02:34 even if it's Republican or Democrat. I publicly call them out. I think it's a horrible, too cool attitude of I already got it. It's done. We're going to win. And then whenever you lose, then what's going to happen? Anyways, I'm not happy about that, but we'll talk about it. Democrats hit with a plus nine in polling average.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Biggest lead of the cycle. We'll show you some of the stuff for Kalshi. You've got to see what people are saying with Kalshi, and it's not looking good. Florida Republicans are bracing for the worst results. they've had since 2018 vibes return. Worse since 2018 will address that.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Bill Maher says the president is the efferone and find out president. It's a good clip. U.K. police arrest. Five men. Okay? Who were trying to attack a base that has 125
Starting point is 00:03:21 U.S. soldiers and bombers. B1, B2, and a farmer pack called their 911 911, and was like, I saw 8 to 10. They caught 5.3 white van, they evacuated the whole freaking neighborhood and wait till what the news was reported. We'll talk about that. We'll talk about that. And then Trump and Xi visit, apparently there was a lot of things talked about. One of the things I was talked about, which is kind of apparently
Starting point is 00:03:44 a big deal, is Xi offered to give two pandas to us. Okay? And I'm being, one is a male, one is a female. They're both both born in 2020. One is called pink pink. The other one is called Fushwang. And I'm not even kidding with you. These are the names. And apparently some people believe that pandas are not even real animals because all they want to do is eat all day and not mate. They don't mate. The reason why they're going extinct is because pandas don't mate. And so some are saying maybe China created this 150 years ago as a way to spy on others. Anyways, they gave us two pandas, which is, I guess, a big celebration.
Starting point is 00:04:18 It's China's way of St. Tom, we want to do a deal with you. That's their way of doing it when they give you a couple pandas. But apparently there was a bunch of other things that, you know, hey, they're welcome 100,000 soldiers, you know, a bunch of other things that will get into. Trump asks G, do you need some military weapons? Do you need help with anything? So we'll see. We'll see what's going to happen there in the story.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Elon comes out and shows the semi-truck, and the truck in industry is like, wait, are you kidding me? So the trucks, the semis that we've been waiting for nine years, it's finally here. It validates that even the smartest guy in the world, everything you try to do in life is harder. It's 10 times harder than you think, and it takes a lot longer than you think it does.
Starting point is 00:04:57 But the semi-trucks look ridiculous. they look great. And if they're able to do what they can do, there may be disruption in the transportation industry, which we have a lot of friends that are in that business. Then this weekend, football, you got this USC player tackles Oregon's quarterback, knocks him unconscious.
Starting point is 00:05:19 The guy has to get a stretcher come out, and he's celebrating the teammates are saying, what are he doing? And a player from Texas, sacks the quarterback, goes and peas on him. Yeah, crazy. Teammates are like, what the hell are you doing?
Starting point is 00:05:29 Okay, and in the meantime, Joe Burrow loses the ball. They should have won the game. Dallas Cowboys, good for Baltimore Ravens. What a victory they had. And Josh Allen gets another run, another rushing touchdown. And Trevor Lawrence decides to stop on a one-yard line. Nobody has a clue why. A bunch of weird things happened yesterday with football.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Don't forget about the Giants, though. Oh, listen, six times two is 12. Exactly. I never forget that six times two is 12. Shout out of you right now. Famous James James James James. Every time I love him. But every time I watch James James James, James,
Starting point is 00:05:58 all I think about is my math has got to get better. You just step it off. He said six times two is 12 and we're doing for our guy, DART. We love you, Winston. But seriously, we're rooting for you. Hook him up with Terrence Howard for the math. Yeah, that would be great. And then we got a few other cool stories to talk about.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Bessent says Iran has two more weeks until their last shipment of oil brings them revenue. After that, they have nothing going on. And Besson's talking like this, super confident. And the foreign minister, Abbas-Arachie, is asked, I think it's by Kristen Welk, one of those, Kristen Waugh is messing up. It's Welker and it's Collins, right? I'm just going to say by last name. I'm going to say last name.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Welker, Collins. One is CNN. ABC? NBC. NBC. NBC says, you know, where is your, you know, your supreme leader? Have you seen him? He's doing very good.
Starting point is 00:06:52 He still sends the messages from the top. People think all these stories. Now, why don't you do a video because of security? security reasons. You have to watch this. And in one of the interview says, Iran foreign minister says Tehran's ready for doomsday war with the U.S. Doomsday war with U.S. Very optimistic, you know, and stuff that they want to do. And then Messi scores a ridiculous goal. Oh, ridiculous. We got angles. And Messi bought a house. Guess in what city? The great Fort Lauderdale. Everybody's coming to Florida. I keep telling him, even the greatest soccer player of all time,
Starting point is 00:07:22 that's a billionaire is choosing Fort Lauderdale out of hundreds of thousands of cities in the world that he can live and he chose his Ford Lauderd. I don't know why. But anyways, we got that going on. So in the interim, while we're going through this, this weekend, guys in the back, if you have the picture that Alicia gave to you with me and Brooklyn, if you have it, do me favor and put it up. If you don't have it, there it is. Rascal.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Look at this with me and Brooklyn. Right now. Skinny Pat. Look at skinny. I lost 30 pounds, guys. You look great. But do you see in this photo shoot what I'm wearing? Do you see what I'm wearing?
Starting point is 00:07:51 That's some FMV. I'm wearing our latest billionaire loafers, which, by the way, most incredibly, I wore the on Saturday and I wore it on Sunday and I think I wore it on Friday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No socks and it still smells amazing, right? It still smells amazing. Let me take a scene. I'm just telling you. Pass that over here. Let me tell you. By the way,
Starting point is 00:08:12 if you also look at that, I'm wearing the F. I'll be shirts there. My closet, I replaced all the white shirts that had from all these other guys that was buying $900, $1,200. It's all hours and I don't know what we sell them for. It's $99, something like that. My entire closet is filled with these white shirts. But these shoes, you know what we have now? The latest FLB high-quality hat that just came through. Look at how they go together right there.
Starting point is 00:08:37 You have them in different colors. You can have them in Muvila. Yeah, that's the match. Oh, that's the match. Oh, that's the match. Oh, that's the match. Oh, that's the match here. Two here together.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Look at them. Boom. That sits together. Boom. Right. Yesterday I had Tom's wife, Kim, was wearing the Navy blue one. And we have them in white. We have them in navy blue.
Starting point is 00:08:54 And it's cool. We have it that goes with the Navy blue. billionaire loafers. So if you're somebody that believes the future looks bright and we have some amazing announcement that's coming out here very soon, you're going to see the first FLB store, which we can't wait to launch
Starting point is 00:09:11 and have the people show up to the first store until that day, for those of you that love the brand and you support what we're doing here. You want to see this thing getting bigger. This doesn't happen without you. If you don't watch us, we're not able to do what we're doing. And we chose to have our sponsors be our businesses is so we don't have to be uncomfortable about our opinions.
Starting point is 00:09:28 And if you value that, support the cause, represent the gear, and we do everything in our power to bring better quality products to you, and we listen to you. So go to phobb.com, place your order again. Go to phobb.com, place an order, whether you get the loafers and the hats together. My suggestion is combine the colors, and you have a lot of other options to go with it. So with that being said, let's get right into it. First story to get into is Trump's meeting with G.
Starting point is 00:09:53 And there's a lot of them to go through here. So they have a meeting together. The first thing that a lot of people are talking about because of China trying to show that we want to do business with you, China hands off two panda bears, two U.S., and one of them is called Pink, Pink. The other one's called Fushwang. And like I talked about earlier with these, what do you call it, these pandas,
Starting point is 00:10:13 this is their way of saying we want to do business. They lend it to you. The problem of pandas is apparently they don't mate. All they want to do is eat, and they value eating over mating, which I have met some people like that, not too many. So these guys don't want to make babies, which is a problem. However, deals were done. So the president asks, hey, you know, exactly. They call the panda diplomacy. Some people
Starting point is 00:10:35 don't think these pandas are not real. And they kind of created it to, you know, because, you know, this whole extinct stuff that we talk about. We'll see. But they said, hey, we want to invite 100,000 of your soldiers, U.S. to come to us. Trump asks, do you need any arms? Do you need any weapons that we need to help you out with? It's a back and forth. And some of the stories that came out. Tom, I don't know how close you're following this. U.S. China reached a $30 billion dollar tariff deal after Trump Xi summit. Both them are saying, hey, let's take this off right now. Let's you take it off right now. Let's kind of make sure we're not tariffing each other left and right. U.S. says China to buy 10 million tons of coal in 27 and 28. Trump says she knows
Starting point is 00:11:13 how I feel about Taiwan. Taiwan was also addressed in the conversation. So let's pick one of them and start with the Taiwan topic. Trump says she knows how I feel on Taiwan after the summit. And Tom, I'm going to come to you with this one here. And I think we have a clip on this in the back. Trump said on Saturday that the issue of Taiwan came up in meetings with Xi. As he refrained from repeating Washington's decade-old stance on the self-greaving island, we didn't talk about it too much. Right now, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:11:40 It's just moving along. He told reporters before departing the White House for a college team game, we didn't spend a lot of time about Taiwan. He understands how I feel about it. The comments came after Chinese readout said, urged the U.S. to oppose Taiwan's independence. Trump didn't restate the U.S. opposition, but gave no indication he's willing to meet with Xi's demand to change it. The U.S. officially does not support Taiwanese independence and opposes unilateral changes to the status quo
Starting point is 00:12:10 by either side. Since coming to power in 2012, Xi has made bringing Taiwan under China's control a key goal vowing to achieve it by force, if necessary. Tom, thoughts on this story. Well, first of all, I thought it was very, very interesting as we're talking about energy. So Taiwan is always going to be Taiwan. And basically what Xi is saying, you know, ultimately we're going to do this. That's what Xi is saying. And Trump is saying, well, it's moving along. And so this sounds a little bit like Biden in Ukraine where he said, well, remember this?
Starting point is 00:12:44 If it's just a border. Minor incursion at the border. Yeah. So suddenly Trump is not coming out and saying hard no on Taiwan. He's just saying, Xi knows how I feel about Taiwan. And we didn't spend a lot of time talking about it. But Xi keeps saying, we're going to do this. You know, we want this and we're going to do this.
Starting point is 00:13:04 And then they turn around and they make an energy deal. I think that's very significant because that's the thing China needs energy. And if the U.S. builds diplomacy with China and takes Alaskan oil and then sends that to China, that's exactly the kind of thing they need. They need that. So I think that in some ways this took a couple steps. In some ways, it was just the same old, same old. But then at the end of it, they said, hey, we're going to get back together live in November,
Starting point is 00:13:32 and we're going to talk about AI. And so I thought all of this, I thought it was, here's my headline. It's good when they're talking. I think it's good when they're talking. And I think G probably didn't get what he wants, which maybe is another inch or two on Taiwan. But Trump made his point. And then they bought a bunch of energy.
Starting point is 00:13:52 In the meantime, while you're talking about this, and Trump is saying, you know, our position hasn't changed. And China's saying their position hasn't changed. Arming Taiwan is an important U.S. interest, Taipei official says after Trump Xi summit, providing weapons to Taiwan to protect its freedom and supply semiconductors to the world, is in the U.S. national interest as senior Taiwanese diplomats at Saturday after the three-day, Trump-GY summit ended with no big public breakouts. Deputy Foreign Minister Francois Wu, asked whether concessions on Taiwan would actually serve U.S. interests, maintaining military sales, and allowing Taiwan's semiconductor industry to continue contributing to the world.
Starting point is 00:14:29 These are important U.S. interests. Wang Huang Jen, very common name of political science professor at National Changkong University said the outcome beats expectations, looking at the results. Many things we thought would be very bad. Didn't happen. The Trump administration approved the $11 billion arms sale. in December 10 months ago. Second word $14 billion is pending.
Starting point is 00:14:51 The U.S. ambassador to China, David Perdue, said there has been no change in Taiwan policy. China's policy. People daily call Taiwan the first unbreakable red line. Adam thoughts. Look, here's the deal with China. I mean, we've criticized China enough. I'm actually going to give some, I guess, rosy picture on China.
Starting point is 00:15:11 I don't think there are enemy, per se. Certainly they're a competitor, no doubt. But you hear this term decoupling. We got to decouple with China. We're going to decouple. We are so closely intertwined that there's no decoupling. And I'll give you a specific example. The last time that there was a competitor to the United States on this level was who,
Starting point is 00:15:32 the Soviet Union, USSR, which crumbled in in 91, I believe. We had nothing going on, trade-wise, alliance-wise, business-wise, anything going on with the USSR. So it was the Cold War at its height. I'm sure you remember sort of the remnants of that, Tom, obviously. But there was no reason to work on a deal. There was nothing really to discuss. You know, they had the famous red hotline phone. God forbid there was going to be something nuclear.
Starting point is 00:16:02 After Nixon, this all got established. There you go. But there was no reason to work out a framework of a deal because there was no interaction. There was no intertwining of the economies. At this point, I think it's pretty evident with China. As much as you might think that their enemies or competitors, our economies are so intertwined. How many times have you looked at an item and been like made in China, like almost everything?
Starting point is 00:16:26 At this point, like Tom said, it's so much better to discuss and come to terms on where we can agree on things, such as trade, AI, minerals. There's certainly things there's going to be differences on, i.e. Taiwan. But at the end of the day, I don't see any decoupling. if anything, they're just kicking the can down the road on this trade situation. I disagree in the fact that China isn't the enemy because the word that they use is adversary. If you look at everything that they've done at them, from the spying, from the buying bases, which I agree, it's stupid because the Biden administration let them, flying spy balloons. COVID-19, they released it and they still don't have any accountability for it.
Starting point is 00:17:06 So, mind you, just because we're not shooting and bombing and whatever, they are our enemy. But the fact that Trump is a freaking statesman, and what did Bill Maher say? The F around and find out president from all the stuff that they did with the deep stay at him, which I believe, this is my opinion, from 2019 to 2020 to COVID, to me it was all, Trump was kicking butt. He was holding their foot to the fire against trade. And then all of a sudden a virus comes out of a lab that we own Fauci, that's a whole, we already know how that story goes. But I think Trump is such a freaking boss. He invites them, he shows them around, he's being professional. but at the same time he's going, hey, listen, with Taiwan, don't even try it.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Oh, and you guys are going to promise us to buy how much coal, Tom? 10 billion, what's the number? 30 billion dollars worth of. 30 billion dollars worth of coal. So say what you want. This year and again. And again, 2020. I just think Adam, like, they are the enemy, but they're not the shooting guns in your face enemy.
Starting point is 00:18:01 But trust me, they would want nothing more than for us to suffer. So, and by the way. Push back on that just a little bit. I agree with everything you said. It's not like I'm thinking that China's our best friend. Yeah, I didn't say best prime. We're being F, F, F, F. My whole situation is we are working together on certain things that there's no decoupling from. So we acknowledge COVID.
Starting point is 00:18:19 We acknowledge these issues. Well, they didn't. They haven't. I'm just saying, like, we know what the situation is. My whole thing is, where do we go from here? Are we actually going to get into a hot war with China? Are we really going to do something like that? It's easy to say, enemy.
Starting point is 00:18:32 I get that. Yeah. That's the easy thing to do. But where are we going to work together is the question. Yeah, this chart that I don't know if the audience can see it. chart has not moved more than five points in the last six years. This is why there's a red line on Taiwan. Look at all the chips. Taiwan has got the global, massive market share in terms of a location. You can't let China take this. So I think Trump's trying to let the edges form,
Starting point is 00:18:59 but this is why the EU doesn't want Taiwan to go back, but they don't want to be the ones that speak up. Everyone doesn't want it, because you look at this, until these chips can be made elsewhere, you're going to give China lording over this and putting spyware and things into chips. It will happen. This is why Taiwan must stay independent. Those pandas probably have spliced. They sit around in need all day and don't have sex. Wasn't China supposed to surpass United States economy and GDP in 2025?
Starting point is 00:19:27 Called mate in China 2025. Where is that now? Is it even close to the economies at this point? Well, if you're if you're, if you're, if you live in China, you would say we hit it. If you live in China. If you live in China, you have to realize the only media we listen to is our own media. You don't wake up in the morning
Starting point is 00:19:46 and go watch in China what they're saying on TV. They have state-run media. That's the point. So to them, they're saying that they hit it. And if you go and talk to others who are neutral players, if you talk to neutral players, neutral players will say, you know, they'll look at us and they'll say we have to still give that attention to China
Starting point is 00:20:06 because they're going to be around. There's somebody we have to play with. It's not like they're not going to be there. They're not crossing off the idea of China being the dominant player in the world. The reason why it's right now being held off the way that it is, is because the guy that's negotiating the deals is not playing around. Trump. So, yeah, Trump.
Starting point is 00:20:24 So if this hangs on for another two more years, and if AOC or Newsom becomes president, how quickly do you think they're going to hit Taiwan? What do you think is going to happen? You think they're going to sit on it? So they have to sit there and realize this isn't. Gis is telling you, I may not do it under your watch, but we're eventually doing it. So, G, out of all the people, he's sitting there saying this freaking guy, Trump,
Starting point is 00:20:49 I can't wait for him to get out. And he's probably, how old is G, by the way? And they're saying he has some help. He looks, he doesn't look that help. He affirmed that, maybe 72, 73. 72, 73. Okay. So how much longer does he have?
Starting point is 00:21:02 He doesn't have that much long. Let's say he goes seven more years, okay? Let's see he go seven more years. I think it's going to be longer than that. But what I'm saying is he is probably sitting there. If there's anything he's pissed off with himself, my speculation, I think Xi is sitting there pissed off with the fact that he did not attack Taiwan under Biden. That was his best flipping opportunity.
Starting point is 00:21:26 You know why? And here's how he's probably thinking he should have done it. The moment Putin attacked Ukraine, guess what he is thinking. I should have attacked Taiwan a month later. You know why? it's so much distract Tom is doing some stuff today I've never seen before he's like he is no he's talking to the sign language people okay so he that's the sign for the bullpen if he if they would have hit so just think about it go to the month that Putin hits uh Ukraine
Starting point is 00:21:52 that would have been in 2022 perfect a month later he should have hit it a month later he should hit it it would have been so confusing for everybody for the UN especially it would have been so confusing for you and it would have been so confusing on how for Biden to handle it So what pin do you wear? Do you wear the Ukraine pin? Do you wear the Taiwan? Which pin do you have? What I'm trying to say is those people that were trying to play these moralists or whatever. Grandstanding, I think Ghee is sitting there behind closed doors saying the day. There is nobody in the world. There is no one in the world that wants,
Starting point is 00:22:29 there's no one in the world that wants a democratic president more than Gis today. Yeah, I agree. Nobody. And, Guess who else they don't want? Guess who Xi doesn't want on the Republican side? Marco Ruby. He does not want Rubio. Of course not. He wants a Democratic president or second a J.D. Vance.
Starting point is 00:22:47 I agree with you. And you know what it's so evident? I agree. You know what's so evident? He wants a non-interventionist president and he wants a Democratic president. And you know what? You know I agree 100%. Why?
Starting point is 00:22:57 Look at the difference from Trump, Republican, to what the Democrats, if, like, I get it. Because you have to come to the White House. You have to lay out the red carpet, so to speak. But look at during Biden when he went to Frickin San Francisco, they literally took all the homeless people and they said, you guys need to go and hide for a week. In Sacramento, in buses.
Starting point is 00:23:16 They bust them out of the city. Yeah. And they hitchhiked back over two weeks. And Tom, and look at all the connections that we found out with Hunter and Joe Biden. They could have done whatever they wanted under Biden. I think that's a freaking great observation. He missed his mark. He missed his opportunity.
Starting point is 00:23:32 He should have done it. I'm not saying I wanted him to do it, but. But I think that's the part. I think he's regretting it, and I think it's going to come, and he wants, number one, an AOC, number two, A Newsom, number three, J.D. Vands. He does now want a Marco Rubio. That's not what he wants. And he can't wait for Trump to be gone. He's doing all this stuff for diplomacy reasons.
Starting point is 00:23:50 But, okay, so here becomes a question, Tom. What are the chances China attacks Taiwan while Trump's president? Very low. 1%. They play the long game. I'm going at maybe 5%. And they only do it like if weird things keep happening in around and there's a confusion moment where they can step in. Yeah, so I think, I think here's, so here's the question. So I'm like
Starting point is 00:24:11 this. Here's my question for you. You ready? You ready? Okay. So be in the room, be in a negotiation room. Hey, Trump, what if we do this? In their own way, I'm not going to try to do their accent. In their own ways. You know what? Let's give it a shot. I'm not going to do it because it's a serious thing. I don't want to make this funny. Go ahead. So, no, no, hear me out. So what if they say this, what did the likelihood they think Gis Camp has made this offer? Hey, President Trump, wink, wink, in their own way. We will step out of the way and no longer buy anything from Iran and let them suffer if you allow us to go and attack Taiwan and do our part. We will be a hundred percent ally to you if you allow us to do what we want to do with Taiwan. We will let Iran be destroyed,
Starting point is 00:24:57 will even support in the regime change. What do you think is the likelihood that someone on their team has relayed that message to someone on Trump's team? I don't think that message is quite like that, but I think it's probably, I'll go a 75% chance that something in that vicinity has been said. Why wouldn't they? They're not going to give up on Iran. You get what I'm saying. I don't think they're going to give up on Iran. When you look at Belt and Road and you look at the geography going to Europe, I don't think they're going to give up a customer or a vendor like Iran.
Starting point is 00:25:25 But do I think they would kind of move the chessboard a little bit for that? Yes, absolutely. What do you think they value more, controlling Taiwan and being the dominant player in? Ships. Chips? Or do you think them having control of Iran with the straight of Hormuz and all the oil that's moving through there, all the inventory that's moving through there? I think they value, this is Belt and Road, and take a look at the Silk Road that goes from
Starting point is 00:25:50 Samarkaland, from the... Take a look. You're okay? Jushanabe? Tom. I don't know if I'm pronouncing. Don't even try that, Tom. Samarkand.
Starting point is 00:26:01 You know what? Keep going, Tom. No, you take a look. What are you saying, Tom? You're saying what? You're saying there's no chance to... is happening. No, I'm saying I think there's been a conversation along those lines. Between zero to a hundred, how important is them getting Taiwan? They were scored. To them very important.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Give me a number. 875. I think it's 99 to be honest with you. And if you want something that's the 99 type of a level. Somebody's talking to somebody. And so guess what Trump is sitting there. If I'm Trump, guess what I'm thinking. One, there's no way we learned during COVID the hard, hard way, how much control China has and how we will be in trouble if the next COVID happens and even takes place. So what are the likelihood that Trump's going to give that up, Tom? The chips. Zero. Okay. So if that's zero. And what's the likelihood that China would be willing to stay out of Iran for them to have control of Taiwan? I don't think they'll, I don't think they give up both because of this. That is their path to Europe. For China specifically. Yeah, they think long about
Starting point is 00:27:04 this, the path that goes from Uzbekistan to Istanbul, they think about that. So then the question becomes, do you take that out and look, they're still half-isolate. Tom, if you, if, if, if they had a choice between IRGC staying, running Iran, or a regime change
Starting point is 00:27:20 taking place with more honest players like a Saudi, not necessarily like angels, but an honest player that just is about business and money, who do you think they'd rather take? China. I think they'd rather they'd rather work with IRC which is against the West.
Starting point is 00:27:36 I'm 100% on it. Then this is, then this is, then this is why, you know, the idea of them wanting Trump out should be the number one priority. Get this obnoxiously strong negotiating guy that comes in thinking he runs the world
Starting point is 00:27:53 out of the way and give me a Newsom, give me an AOC, give me a Prit-SA person, give me a Shapiro, give me a A-Sop, give me anybody but this guy, give me a non-intervention as president so I can go out there and complete my mission
Starting point is 00:28:07 and get this before another Republican shows back up. And they're praying behind closed doors. You know what China would be doing behind closed doors? If China is playing the dirty game, they would spend a hundred million dollar campaign with bots and stories making sure they scared a crap out of Rubio for Rubio not to run. The propaganda to make Rubio believe that he cannot win in 2020
Starting point is 00:28:27 is the number one priority. Rubio cannot run for office in 2028. If Rubio doesn't run for office for 2028, It's the most important thing for China if Rubio doesn't win. I agree with that. I agree with that. Because they know how hawkish he is and how tough he is? Rubio is not going to play the game with them.
Starting point is 00:28:44 I agree. And Rubio is not going to sit there and be like, no, let's just mind our own business. And let's just focus on America. And let's not worry about what's going on around the world. And around the world, they're going buying the chips. And you're just like running your own community. And they're getting more power around you and more power around you. Hey, how did this non-interventional strategy work?
Starting point is 00:29:03 They're not all your neighbors. What are you going to do now? Well, it's not that you, let's just focus on our problems, and then you lose market share. That's what's been happening. And real quick, this is why I said that there's no decoupling from China, and our conversations need to keep going on. Because there's a checklist of things that are a high priority. Obviously, Taiwan is important to them. And you know the two words that Trump and the administration says to China whenever Taiwan comes up?
Starting point is 00:29:25 Status quo? They don't even get into it. They're like, our position is the status quo. They don't even address it. I'm going to go to the next story. I'm going to go to the next story. Next time I want to get to is Scott Besant talks about what's going on with Iran, that they have two more weeks left because they're about to get their last payment of oil.
Starting point is 00:29:42 They have nothing else left to sell, and they're going to be hit very hard. I want you to watch us. Then we're going to go to the foreign minister of Iran. Watch what he says. Go for it. A million more barrels of Iranian oil on the water that Iran will have nothing left to trade for anything. They will have nothing to trade for anything. Probably within the next two weeks, they are going to make their full.
Starting point is 00:30:03 final deliveries of oil to China, and then they will have nothing. It is an empty set, and I believe that they are feeling the pressure here, and that's why they want to deal. And you saw when President Trump was leaving the White House this morning, the Iranians say they'll open the straits within seven days. Larry, the streets are open. If you take out the Iranian oil, which we're not letting out, we're not letting it out, that we're averaging now 15 to 22 million barrels a day. It was at about 20 pre-conflict. So you take out the one and a half or two Iranian barrels.
Starting point is 00:30:46 So think of it this way, Larry. The score is the United States, one billion, more than one billion barrels have gotten out, Iran zero. Okay. So now he's saying this of what's going to be happening. And meanwhile, while they're having a conversation with Abbas-Arachia, if you have that clip as well, they're asking about what's going on there with your, is this the one about their Supreme Leader? Or you go into the one that they're ready for Doomsday? Do you have both of them?
Starting point is 00:31:14 Okay, go to the Doomsday one first, and I will go to the Supreme Leader because the domsday has to do with this. So watch this here, what they're prepared to do. Go forward. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that President Trump expects to resume bombing Iran after the midterms. As you know, he stood at the UN and threatened to annihilate it. Iran, are you preparing for this war to resume? We are fully prepared for the time for the war to be resumed. And I repeat, we stand firm in the face of any new aggression, even it comes to a doomsday war.
Starting point is 00:31:48 But at the same time, we are ready, we stand ready for diplomacy. It is up to President Trump to choose. He wanted unconditional surrender in the previous war in two days, and now it's eight months that they are fighting. with no result. A new aggression would be certainly the same. We are fully prepared for that. We have learned our lesson from the two previous wars, and we have corrected our tactics.
Starting point is 00:32:16 We have changed our tactics, and we are fully prepared to do that. All right. By the way, they're saying the IRGC Navy claimed it captured a U.S. REMA 600 underwater drone in the strait. Okay, so they have underwater drone in the street. West Texas Intermediate closed at 92.40. You want to barrel and Prince at 104.
Starting point is 00:32:35 32. I wonder where it's at right now. Tom, if you want to check it to see where the numbers are at, as of right now. WTI 94. WTI is 94. Brent? Brent is 98. Brent said 98. So Tom, what do you think about what Besson is saying that they have two weeks
Starting point is 00:32:51 before the income stops with the last shipment that they're making? Do you believe him? Yes, I believe him because if you look back Scott Besson, everything he said has. basically come true or have been directionally correct and other things have then intervened. But he hasn't been off on a limb. And so I think what he's saying is that this is real. Also, he's bringing something up in that there have been convoys and there's been other things happening that's been allowing a certain amount of oil to get through. And some people are saying,
Starting point is 00:33:23 oh, it's still closed. It's still closed. And you're wondering where are we being gaslit by Reuters and where are we being gaslit by political statements versus where it's really getting through? And I think you have to look at the price of oil, and I wish we had an audit point for the deliveries, right? If you had an audit point on deliveries to refineries, then we would have it. But Besson has not been a guy that's been out there attempted to gaslight on some wild theory that doesn't happen. There are proxies out there doing that on both sides. But Scott Besson wasn't one of them. And I believe him.
Starting point is 00:34:00 I believe two weeks from now, if nothing changes, there's going to be issues. Now, how can Iran change that? Well, they get super, super aggressive, and they start throwing all those rockets all night in the Gulf, and then things have to stop. But right now, there apparently are ships that are on the Oman side. You know, we've talked about this before. Stay on the south side where the U.S. Navy is. And so if he says 20 you're getting through, I'm like 85% believe Scott Besson,
Starting point is 00:34:27 that there's throughput. Now, has that been every day? He didn't say that. Has it been that way for a week? He didn't say that. But he did say, listen, over the last few days, we've had this.
Starting point is 00:34:38 And that's a lot more oil that was going through. Yeah. In the interview, the conversation continues to say, you know, because Trump declined their last offer that they send in as well because the offer was, you know,
Starting point is 00:34:48 weak and it's like, God, we're not interested in this. They're going to stay to their playbook. He was asked about the Supreme Leader of Iran. Like, hey, if he's alive and he's doing so, why can we see him? This is what he had to say. Mr. Final question to you. The president of Iran said this week,
Starting point is 00:35:03 he has spoken to the Supreme Leader. He says he is in good health. Why has there been no proof of life of the Supreme Leader since he took power in March? Well, there are security
Starting point is 00:35:21 concerns. It was a little bit longer. Yeah, too long. He was available of that. You know, our supreme leader was illegally assassinated during the last war and I think it is very logic that we protect our leader why not put out a video why not put out a video no no there are for for security reasons there are lots of indications that he's under threats by Americans and there are other indications that he's in full control he is in full order we receive his he's you know comments and orders and opinion
Starting point is 00:35:59 Okay, what do you think is going out with them? The Supreme Leader, you think is dead or alive? I think if he is alive. The current Supreme Leader, Vaminati's son, yeah. I think if he is alive, let's just be basic about this. Like, let's not even be bombastic. If he is alive, which is 50-50 at this point, he is severely injured or burned on his face.
Starting point is 00:36:19 Why do I think that? Because if you lost a leg, like they supposedly said, you could still shoot a video. If you lost an arm, you could still shoot a video. I think his face from my face, a bombing is so messed up that they can't actually publicly put him out there. So much of the fact that right after the bombing, what did they bring out? Do you remember, Pat?
Starting point is 00:36:39 A cardboard picture of the guy. Like it's freaking major league and you're ripping off clothes to win the pennant race. To me, you know that. You remember the cardboard. To me, and I don't know if you watched that full interview, I watched that full interview. you have Bessent speaking and you have Al-a-Shi speaking, who seem more confident and direct? To me, Besson is like straight up, they got two more weeks,
Starting point is 00:37:08 here's the freaking deal, economic fury, boom. This guy's like, well, you have to understand the security concerns and we're waiting to do a deal. In my opinion, they're getting desperate, and they realize that their time is coming up. I'm not saying there's going to be a regime change. You said how much, how much time did Besson said until? Two weeks.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Two weeks until their economy. So the no more oil is gone. And I believe that. So to me, and you know, knock on wood, maybe I'm being an optimist, I think they're getting really close to basically imploding internally in Iran. Well, listen, the 2026 midterms are what? Tuesday, November 3rd, okay, which time. Let's talk about maybe we do a live event at the boardroom.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Let's make a note about that on what we're going to do with that. and, you know, that's 36 days away, five weeks and one day. Do you think in their mind, you know, because I'm wondering, like, how aligned Bessent, Trump, and Rubio are? Because Rubio said something very interesting the other day. He said something very interesting the other day. He said, I don't think Iranians realize, I think they're thinking midterms are that big of a deal that if the Democrats, they must not understand how the U.S. Constitution works and how the U.S. government works. The Democrats are not just all of a sudden going to wake up and want to do a deal with you.
Starting point is 00:38:30 So what was – I watched that clip a few times to see what is he pleading? What is he's saying? I think what he's saying there is he's trying to take a chip off the table that Iran has. And a chip that Iran has is what? They believe Trump is afraid of losing the midterms and it's going to be an embarrassing loss. And they're trying to hold off 36 days to – because – Imagine if midterms go against Trump. What do you think the entire market's going to say?
Starting point is 00:38:58 Trump laws control the Republicans. You know, like these stories. I'll read some of these stories to you know. Look what the headlines say. You ready? One headline says that 17 Republicans in close races break with Trump on the war, ABC News. So why is that? Why are these stories important stories?
Starting point is 00:39:18 Okay, let me go through it. And then I'm going to come to you. So 17 Republicans, competitive midterm races have publicly called to an end. of a war, remarkable crack in the party discipline driven by kitchen table math, ABC news reports the defections concentrate exactly where expected. Districts where diesel prices are up 60 percent and gas station sticker shock down out every other message, the political or brutal, a CNN poll cited in a piece, puts public disapproval of the war at 67%.
Starting point is 00:39:47 Okay. So do you think Iran is following that story? I believe 100% they are. Absolutely. Number two. Democrats hit a. a 9 plus 9 in polling average biggest lead of the cycle, NBC News.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Do you think Iranians are reading this, seeing what this shows, and they're sitting there saying, oh, beautiful, give me more. Democrats have opened the largest generic ballot lead of the midterm cycle, 52 to 43%, a 9-point advantage in the NBC News poll, average that puts the party in territory where the House is not competitive,
Starting point is 00:40:21 but as soon then Senate map starts tilting. Can you show the CalShe numbers, by the way, and what it's shown right now is of the latest Democrats against the Republicans on the midterms. Look at this here. Democrats, look at the spike just in the last week and a half. Two weeks. Do you see that where it's at? 60%.
Starting point is 00:40:35 So Democrats sweep, 62% Vinny. That's Democrat sweep. Democrat House, Republican Senate, 29%. Republican suite is only at 8%. Republican House. Democrat Senate 1.1%. So Iran is sitting there and saying, oh, just throw them a bullshit memorandum.
Starting point is 00:40:54 Throw them a bullshit deal. They're going to say no to it anyways because Iran is saying, we need 37 days. Can we survive 37 days? They're sitting there saying, can you survive 37 days? We can survive 37 days?
Starting point is 00:41:06 Iran's economy is horrible. It's in shambles. They got so many other things that they're publicly hiding from everybody. Even at the UN, the speaker, at the UN, one of the things that a guy did, he walked up to the Iranian diplomats that were there. You know what he offered him?
Starting point is 00:41:20 I don't know if you guys saw this clip or not. He offered him a Starling. He says, hey, here's a story. Why don't you go give this to your people so they can have internet? That was the Israeli ambassador to the U.S. This is the one. He's walking up to the Iran envoy. Watch this.
Starting point is 00:41:33 Can you put the audio and go back a little bit so we... To allow... All the way back? I thought it's appropriate to give you the Starlink. If you heard the Prime Minister, it can be very useful for you to allow the Iranian people to get their freedom after what you did to them.
Starting point is 00:41:49 So you want to take it and deliver it back to Tehran? it can be very useful for you in Iran. We love the Iranian people, and we pray for the regime change there. It will come that day. Imagine the bold statement to go up to the guy and says, we are praying for regime change, and they are so bold and they're saying that, and he's giving them a starlink.
Starting point is 00:42:11 So to me, Iran right now is just playing a waiting game. They're playing a waiting game, and the word is with Besson. What Besson is saying, how long can they last? That's the real question on how long they can last. Adam, I'll come to you first. Well, number one, that was a gangster move by the Israeli ambassador to the UN. His name is Danny Donon.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Forget about what he did. Gangster move. How weak did the Iranian leader move? Imagine Tom comes to talk to me, starts talking trash, and all I do is this. You would never do that. Of course not, because I'm intimidated, obviously. But gangster moved by him. So just real quick, we want to win, obviously.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Who doesn't want to end this war? The question is, how will we end the war? I would like to win the war with total victory. That's what I would want. So is Iran just going to capitulate and just give in to our demands? No. He used the word doomsday scenario. This, to me, is the number one thing.
Starting point is 00:43:10 Trump is out there trying to save the world. While the average American, respectfully, you're trying to save that money. To me, any... What's Trump's number one red line with Iran? What is it? The nuclear problem. No nuclear. So when you have the foreign minister basically saying, we're prepared for all options, including Doomsday. Yeah, that is perfect evidence why we do not want nuclear weapons in these
Starting point is 00:43:32 people's hands. In my opinion, right after midterms, bang, bang, bang, Trump's going to take these people out. That's my opinion. Yeah. And by the way, Tom, I'm going to come to you out. Can you play a Bill Maher clip? Can you play the Bill Maher clip about who Trump is as the president? And I think when a guy like Bill Maher, who couldn't stand Trump, is now becoming one of the most logical players for Trump. And look what he had to say here. Go forward. It's not just drug crime that's way down. It's all crime. And again, probably much of it
Starting point is 00:43:58 is not political. It's because you can't move two inches in America without being tracked, photographed, and followed by a flock camera. But it's also because when Democrats expand the safety net, there are less desperate people. And because Trump is a badass.
Starting point is 00:44:14 No, I don't agree with many of his methods like how they sometimes just deport people to countries. Well, they absolutely no connection like Megan and Harry? His writers are good, man. Is doing it this way the right thing? No.
Starting point is 00:44:35 But it's just childish to pretend that when you elect a fuck around and find out president, a no more Mr. Nice Guy booting your ass, V for Vendetta, kick ass and take names, say hello to my little friend, president. That's not going to have some effect on crime.
Starting point is 00:44:51 He has a UFC fights on the lawn. I think the bad guys got the message. Look how many people are laughing? How many about to go back? Go back five seconds. Six people. That's right. How many people is that that's laughing? Go, press play. Act on crime. He has a UFC fights on the lawn. I think the bad guys got the message. How many is that? Four to five. And that's nervous laugh. That's right. Tom, go for it. So to me, when you hear this with Iran, Iran knows who he is. They're trying to act like they have it under control, you know, but at the same time, you know, with what they're saying all this,
Starting point is 00:45:24 how do you react to this, Tom? Well, words talk, number, scream. Let's go to some numbers. 47. That's the number of Democrat senators. Actually, it's 45 plus Angus King and Bernie, who are independents, but it's 47. Six, that's the maximum number of senators that they could win in the election, according to the current polls, which would mean the next number, 53.
Starting point is 00:45:45 That would be the maximum number of senators that the Dems would have. Would they control the Senate? Yes. 3rd of January. That's when they get sworn in. 67. That's how many it takes in the Senate to override a veto by number 47. And that's not going to happen. Best case, they've got 53 people in the Senate on January 3rd. They need 14 people to cross the line to get 67 to override a presidential veto. This is what Rubio was talking about. Rubio is saying, I don't think you understand. There's certain things that are that are, that are, under the control of the president. He was being very matter of fact. I was in the legislature for a while.
Starting point is 00:46:25 There are things and are tools that are at his disposal. That's what it is. They may be sitting there waiting for the midterms, but it's a PR hit on Trump more than anything else. In reality, he's going to veto things and he's going to say, you got 67 senators, you got 53 after the election, find 14 people that are willing to cross that line override my veto at 67. That won't happen. You can go up and down and look for all the MTGs lookalikes that you could possibly find. There are not 14 in there. How many masses are left after midterms? Very few. How many masses are left?
Starting point is 00:46:58 Very few. Meaning like people. And he put that on the Republican side that will not go against Trump. So can I answer that real quick? Is the difference between rhetoric? Because right here you said 17 Republicans break with Trump versus what they're saying versus what they'll actually vote for. This is my opinion.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Because the war in Iran is unpopular. there's people in close races in certain districts. We're going to say publicly, we need to end the war, wink, wink, you know, Trump, clean it up, wink, wink, but when it came to push and shove, if a Republican gets elected, they're not going to break with Trump when the actual vote happens. That's my opinion. That's what I'm saying. So it's not just about November. November is going to be our U.S. media going nuts.
Starting point is 00:47:43 And you know that pen on the wall, the auto pen, Biden? Well, Trump actually has a pen. and it's in a human hand, and it's a human hand that under the hand of Donald Trump will veto it and then say, I dare you. So, okay, so then in other words, based on what you're saying, you're telling me he doesn't really give a shit about the midterms. I think he cares deeply, but he is not going to be turned
Starting point is 00:48:04 into some gilding horse out in the pasture. Not his identity. No, if he wants to throw a veto at him, they have to throw 67 senators. How closely do you think Iran's following the midterms? Very closely. And they think that he's going to be. Right.
Starting point is 00:48:20 This is all they got. They're praying. What prompted this conversation was, I watch closely what Rubio says. Rubio specifically said, I don't think the Iranian people understand how midterms, how the U.S. government works. They think with midterms, he is specifically speaking to the motivation of Iran on what they're trying to do to negotiate against them. Now, while that's taking place, the part in the. America that we have to isolate. So this is the Iran issue and tied to midterms. Then go to U.S. affordability, diesel, gas prices, all that stuff with midterms, which is the day-to-day
Starting point is 00:48:57 Americans. Set us aside, complete different animal, bring it over here. And a couple of things that's happening in America right now, that's kind of weird politically. Florida Republicans are bracing for the worst as 2018 vibes return. Okay? 2018 vibes return. And that's Florida. We live in the great state of Florida. And so a lot of people are talking about what can happen here politically. Florida Republicans running the state that defined GOP dominance this decade are privately bracing for the worst in the midterms. This is the independent that wrote the story. The independent reports former representative Carlos Curbelo summing up the mood as 2018 vibes. The year a democratic wave erased Republican House control the anxiety of striking precisely
Starting point is 00:49:40 because of location. Florida was supposed to be solved problem. The state turned into From a swing to solid, where Republicans registered more voters and one by 20, the independent party operative watching the same numbers as everyone else, President's approval underwater, as unpopular Democrats, all these other things that they're talking about. Tom shared a number earlier that of the people that, the plus minus that happened with Republicans, with independents that voted, 80% were independents, 20% was the plus minus of how many new Republicans, Florida gained, which is a good thing, but independents can do what? They can flip and go to the other side, right? Easy. And one thing that's becoming very weird is midterm candidates are dumping 21 out of 26. Governor races may have none.
Starting point is 00:50:25 This is ABC saying that what was the number again? 21 out of 36 races. There may not be a gubernatorial debate. The candidate debate is dying in plain sight. ABC News found that 21 out of 36 governor races this cycle, no general election debate is scheduled or likely. And the pattern repeats down to the pandemic. ballot and Senate and House contest, the tradition that once anchored campaigns has become an optional and frontrunners are the ones killing it. Like Byron Donald's killed the Republican
Starting point is 00:50:54 debate, GOP debate for Florida. And so guess what his opponent is now saying? I don't know if you guys thought. I may not even debate. Why would he debate? Why would you? And okay, so now what can Byron Donald's not say to his opponent? Why aren't you going to debate me? He cannot say he's a debate dodger. Yeah. Because if he says you're a debate dodger, what are they going to say? You're a debate doctor. So you're opening it up. And so this is not a good thing for Republicans. Why is this not a good thing for Republicans? Because who has the better logical argument? The Republicans. But if there's not a debate, you don't have the platform to make your better Republican
Starting point is 00:51:27 common sense argument. If you don't have that, this could be a very ugly season for Republicans at the midterms. Tom, your thought. So I'll give you one clip from absolutely. Here's an interesting clip from Florida. up. 2018, DeSantis lost to Andrew Gillum by 20 points in Miami. No, 34,000 votes.
Starting point is 00:51:50 No, no, no, no. In Miami, Miami-Dade. It was 20 points. The next election, it was 55-44, a 30 percentage point swing in Dade County. Today, you know what the ballot is today? Excuse me, the polls today? Five reputable polls in the last three weeks,
Starting point is 00:52:08 Miami-Dade. 54%. Jolly, 42% Donalds. The big cities are the weights on the barbell that swing these states. We've seen it in Michigan. You win, what's that, Wayne County around Detroit? Lil Wayne County. Low Wayne County.
Starting point is 00:52:24 You win all that. And then it's very hard to the, I caught what you did to me. And then it's very hard to win because up in the upper UP, Upper Peninsula and everything, there's not enough people to offset the population in Detroit. You know, take a look at this right here. Pat, this is right here. Byron Donald's needs to over index in the red because
Starting point is 00:52:48 what is the darker blue above Dade County? That's Broward County. And what is the blue above that? Pat, take a look. You know what is right now? Right now Palm Beach County is blue. It has been barely red for a while. It's blue in the polling.
Starting point is 00:53:06 So I think Byron Donald's got, I don't want to lose the state House. I do not want to lose the State House. But I don't want Byron to sit on the sideline and they say, well, I'm not going to debate because only two things happen in the debate. You give the other guy a sound bite and you say something by accident and that goes viral. So don't debate. People are telling their candidates for that reason I just outlined, don't debate. He needs to get out in front of this. I don't want to lose it, but I'm disappointed in how Byron's running this. I hope I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong. But I'm going to tell you this,
Starting point is 00:53:36 having watched, been in the insurance space for a few decades now, and I watched guys who everything on their resume looked perfect for them to win and dominate, and they were too cool. And they didn't realize when it comes onto competition, the other guy is doing everything in his power to eat your freaking lunch and take your spot. And this energy of, well, I got Trump's back.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Trump's got my back. Trump's got my back. Trump's got my back. And then the other day they're saying the Trump endorsement was removed from the website because everybody's kind of trying to say that they're more like, you know, I'm just, you know, for, you know, the saying is what? Well, you need the endorsement for the primary, but for the general election, stay away from Trump as much as possible because you need some independence to come towards you. So that may be the strategy, right? But the reality of it is, this too cool approach of I got it under control, dude, you better have a higher level of urgency or Florida could go blue very quickly.
Starting point is 00:54:32 And then what's going to happen? The conversation is going to be what? Now Florida is run by a Democratic president. And guess what? Fully deserve it. If you play too cool and this Evan guy who runs the Florida GP advice being given on the back end,
Starting point is 00:54:47 you don't need to debate, you don't need to debate. Then you give the opposition, the argument to say, I don't need to debate you. Go ahead and call me a debate dodger. Then I'm going to say you didn't even talk to the Jay Collins, the lieutenant governor. You didn't talk to the Speaker of House Paul Renner and you were frightened of James Fishback.
Starting point is 00:55:02 You're making your own job harder. So guess what? We are. We would love to see a Byron Donald's win, but competition doesn't work that way. Competition is brutal. It is absolutely brutal. And if you sit there, you're kind of like, well, no, we have it under control. It's going to be fine. Man, that's just not, well, you're not in the political game. Competition is competition, no matter where you're competing. It doesn't matter whether it's podcasting, whether it's insurance, whether it's real estate, whether it's sports, whether it's politics, whether it's mainstream media. Competition has zero sympathy for you.
Starting point is 00:55:35 you. Zero. And so to me, when I see some of these things taking place, forget about the Iran issue we talk, but isolate this with America. Affordability. You know, you got the issue of affordability. You got the issue of what's going on right now with the economy. How are you going to? And then you're also not playing offense at the highest level. I don't know. I don't know what's going to happen. Of course, we would love to see that state with the similar values of DeSantis. What DeSantis made it so difficult and great is he did what? He made the state. freaking better for everybody. He made the state better for everybody. You follow that. Floridians are expecting the Santa's type of results. Will you do that? Who knows?
Starting point is 00:56:17 Will you even have the fire for you to want to go fight them? You see some of the old clips with Byron how phenomenal he was. You were talking about it the other day. I watched clip after, I was that guy during COVID, pre-COVID after COVID watching him
Starting point is 00:56:29 in Congress. Guys like this sort of problem, Evan Power. Yeah. And Obel. The party chair of Republican, of Florida, guys like this or the problem. I'll say this publicly easily. Yeah, and mind you, it's not like he doesn't have the ammunition and the firepower. Byron Donald has it, but it's like, Pat, this bothers the hell out of me because even Hussein
Starting point is 00:56:48 Bolt, when you have to qualify, you still got to run the race against people that you know that you're better then. You know what I mean? You still got to run against them to get your time and then you do the final. This pisses me up because now I, Pat, I know for a fact, the Democrats not going to want to debate and now it's going to come down to who has the better commercials. All week I've been getting 954 numbers. It's all Democrat numbers. Hi, I'm telling you right now, I haven't gotten any Byron numbers. I've
Starting point is 00:57:11 gotten all Democrats pitching it, Tom, and it's going to come down to who has the better commercial and the more money, because I didn't get to see any debate. I didn't get to see you going there and I don't think money's going to be the problem. These are, by way, I'm hearing this too, and I listen to a couple of messages of curiosity. And what they're saying is,
Starting point is 00:57:27 David Jolly understands Florida. David Jolly is not, and they're actually selling it this way, Pat. David Jolly is not your average Democrat. He understands the need for jobs. He understands what's going on. He understands the insurance crisis, and he understands the housing crisis we have in Florida.
Starting point is 00:57:43 It's both hot buttons, and they're selling an... Brilliant message. And they're selling independence, Pat. They're selling the center. By the way, let me just give you numbers just so you know because it's not a money problem. Byron Donalds has more than $41 million dollars of cash on hand. After raising about $3.5 million in the week ending September 4th.
Starting point is 00:58:02 He's got 41. It could be even higher number today. Jolly has $6 million in hand, just so you know that. And look how close he is. Yeah, that's the point. With only $6 million, Adam, go for it. Look, I think Byron's going to win. It's no secret.
Starting point is 00:58:16 I'm rooting for Byron. I root for DeSantis, and I want the Republicans to keep Florida what it is now. Why? Because Miami's, Florida, is the best state, in the best city, in the best state, in the best country in the world. And I want to keep it that way. and if Byron can continue what DeSantis has been doing, I'm all in on that. Now, what we're talking about with Byron is not just a Byron thing.
Starting point is 00:58:39 It seems to be systemic. How many different candidates will not be doing a debate in races all across the country? 21 different races. So this is systemic. This is basically people saying, listen, if you have a big lead, play prevent defense. What happens when you play prevent defense, the other team, like in football, has a chance to move the football up the field, just like Baltimore, when they kicked a field goal the last second against the Cal girls, and they won the last second because they were playing prevent defense.
Starting point is 00:59:06 So let's hope that you're not playing too weak and soft of a prevent defense. And I will say, Byron's up relatively big. He's got an 80% chance of winning, according to Cal Sheet, right? This other guy has a 20% chance, Jolly. And even in Florida, if you want to kind of go downballad here, Ashley Moody, who's our current senator right now, she's wiping the floor with ever this DSA candidate
Starting point is 00:59:30 as Lieutenant Governor she's going to crush it. Yeah. Good. So, well, it's in the Senate. So here's my biggest thing. Right now,
Starting point is 00:59:40 you talk about the biggest states. California is blue and as blue as it gets. New York is flashing blue and it's disgusting. With communism red. You got Tala Rico in Texas that somehow was beating this cowboy
Starting point is 00:59:52 Ken Paxton in Texas. God forbid that turns blue. If Florida turns blue as well, just picture this PPD, you have California, you have New York, you have Texas, and you have Florida going blue, that is very bad for America. What's your point? Okay. That is my point. Okay, so then who's the on us on?
Starting point is 01:00:13 It's on the candidates to get out there. Who else is it on? What do you mean? It's on the candidate? And it's on the Republican Party. Yeah, the team behind it. Well, it's also on voters to get out there and recognize that it's on them. That's bullshit.
Starting point is 01:00:26 That's bullshit. Let me explain to you. No, it's not. Put the candidates in front so I can make an educated decision. I agree with you. Put them in front of these so I can see the educated decision to see, I don't even know who you are. I don't even know what the positions are going against. I want to see the debate. Somebody thought that was a good idea. Who the hell were those people? Bingo. Who are you? Who are you? Who were those people? Did you give us seven options against Paxton? Or was it just Cornyn and Paxton? Give us seven options. Give us five options. Paxson. he's going up against Tala Rico. We didn't have seven options. There needs to be a draft. There needs to be a pipeline of people to look at and learn about.
Starting point is 01:01:07 I had no idea what Paul Renner was until I met him. I'm like, this guy freaking sounds reasonable. I like this guy. Jay, I met Jay, I'm like, you know, little too emotional, but probably more qualified than some other people. But I looked at Renner, I'm like, and it's like, well, you know, we're not that good in marketing. His gal was phenomenal.
Starting point is 01:01:26 or she texts me all the flipping time. But the pipeline marketing, storytelling early on options for, so if I can't get excited about a candidate, why do I not get excited about a candidate? What if you have the debate, then your conviction for Donald's goes even deeper. You're like, oh, that's, you know what? Yes.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Let me get behind them. There needs to be a regular. What does sports do? Preseason. You size everybody up. Then what do you have? Regular season. Then what do you have?
Starting point is 01:01:55 Play. Then what do you have? Championship. So now you guys want to wipe out regular season and preseason and playoffs? Here's just a championship. What runs that way? What's the whole purpose of preseason season, season playoff championship game? So the loyalty for a team goes higher. If it's just championship, where's your loyalty to who?
Starting point is 01:02:14 For what? Where's the context? No, I'm not with that. I think the Republican Party on not allowing these people, Trump went and fought everybody. Yep. Tooth and nails. And he made it in there. He set the example for everybody else.
Starting point is 01:02:30 Who the hell is following it? Who's following it? So now it's on the voters? Hey, let's put all the pressure on the voters. Wait, what? You should go vote. No, I shouldn't. Get me excited.
Starting point is 01:02:41 And by the way, the whole idea is, well, you're going to vote for them anyways, right? You're going to vote for them anyways because you're Republican. No shit, Sherlock, but here's the problem. Am I going to convert 88 others? And the answer is no, why? I'm not excited. I'm not excited.
Starting point is 01:03:00 So then what are you doing? Who's excited about a candidate? People are excited about a candidate. Go promote that candidate. You got excited about Trump. You got excited about Obama. You got excited about some of these candidates. You're excited about some of the stuff they're putting in front of us?
Starting point is 01:03:16 You need that excitement at them. They effed up. They effed up. So one of the parts is, okay, we can argue affordability. Fine. Yes. 100% that you look at the numbers that people vote with, I think in 2008 when the gas prices came up,
Starting point is 01:03:30 64% of people, they said, I don't even watch the news, but I see the gas prices, and I'm voting based on the gas prices. You know what big percentage of the population just votes off the freaking gas prices? That's going to be one problem. Pretty big.
Starting point is 01:03:42 So you already have that problem. Rent is up, prices are up, interest rates are at 7.5%. The average person can't even buy a house. I went to a place to eat the other day. The same guy that's telling me that I said, can I get sparkling water? I'm at that place every freaking time.
Starting point is 01:03:56 We don't have sparkling water. What do you mean you don't have sparkling water? We don't have it because corporate didn't give us budget. What? Yeah. Let me have my steak and shrimp fajita combo that I always do. Make the steak medium. Corporate did an approved steak.
Starting point is 01:04:09 Jeez. What do you want to give me? Do you want chicken breast? Give it to me. I'm not a chicken breast guy. So you don't think these things are happening to small business owners? Go ahead. Are you shaking hands and talking to these people?
Starting point is 01:04:20 I'm sorry. I don't play these games. Don't automatically assume you have some people's votes just because of that. You need more than that person's vote. You need more than that. When we were going to build a campaign and the insurance company, I'm campaigning with everybody. I'm calling insurance company CEOs.
Starting point is 01:04:34 I'm calling the wholesalers. I'm calling the technology guys. I'm calling my guys. I'm calling everybody to find out what's going on. What are we doing here? Is this an entitled Republican Party? What an unattractive approach to take? And this is coming from a conservative guy with conservative values
Starting point is 01:04:51 pro-capitalism, pro-freedom of speech. You think you're entitled to a flippin vote? No, that is a royal, royal screw-up, and the voters should push back, not to the point of going to Democratic Party. But you need more than that. You need excited voters. You do not have an excited voter base right now.
Starting point is 01:05:13 You don't have an excited voter vote. You've got to people that I understand it. Like, I'm a business guy. I understand what Trump is doing. And I get it. It's a very hard place. to be and it's going to suck for a while. And that's the part of you being a leader,
Starting point is 01:05:25 that sometimes people are not going to like the decision you're making. And you have to go through, be alone, and you got your main guys that are having your back. That's a price he's going to have to pay. But everybody else that's running these states, there's Florida, GOP, Texas, GOP, get your freaking act together. What do we doing?
Starting point is 01:05:39 Get your act together. I don't know. I'm not with that. So that whole same lip service of, well, of fear porn, let me tell you what the state would turn into. No shit, we know what the state would turn into. Look what the hell is going on, California. right now, a once beautiful state.
Starting point is 01:05:54 You know how many people I'm recruiting away from California to Texas? Left and right. We had a guy that just came here the other day, had the biggest amount of real estate in Texas at one point. Guy was a multi-millionaire, you know, one of the wealthiest Assyrian in the world. They're looking at moving to Florida. What happened?
Starting point is 01:06:09 We're recruiting everybody at the state of Florida. But this entitled approach of, you know, like even with our content, do you think I think I'm entitled to the audience that watches our content? Do you think we sit there and say, Well, listen, because we've been in court, you have to come and show us. The market doesn't give a shit. Market wants you to improve yourself. And they're right.
Starting point is 01:06:30 They're right. We need to stay in this state. The Republican Party got cocky and arrogant. And I said that right after Trump won. I said, you cannot use this as a cocky moment to think this lasts like this forever. They just had a humiliating loss. They're going to go back and strategize and they're going to watch you fumble. And stay cocky and see what happens to you.
Starting point is 01:06:49 Go ahead and stay cocky and see what happens to you. happens to you. In any business, in any, you know, yesterday, I'll say this and I'll get to the next story. I apologize. I don't keep going. I'm all here. Yesterday, I'm a, I'm, uh, uh, Saturday Dylan had a soccer game. Yesterday were, I'm out. I'm training with him yesterday, Sunday morning, two hours. It was birthday weekend, very good, you know, birthday weekend. He got his first 13, 13 years old. And, you know, he's, uh, we're talking about career and all this stuff. So we're training in the morning. We're running. He's running two miles and I'm pushing him. Sprint. Stop. Sprint. Sprint. Chase me. Catch me.
Starting point is 01:07:21 touch me, and I'm going in front. He's trying to hit me in the back. Get the tackle. Come get me. So we're doing these things. Anyways. And on the way back, I'm selling them the dream. I said, Dilly, I said, let's say at 20 years old you're playing in the World Cup, 18 years old, 17 years old, you're playing in the World Cup. I said, you think the 20-year-olds playing in the World Cup because of what the 20-year-old did? No. You're playing in the World Cup because of what the 13-year-old did today. You're going to say thank you to you. I said the 20-year-old version of Dillon is thankful to what you're doing today. You're going to be so proud of the 13-year-old Dylan. I say, you think I'm
Starting point is 01:07:53 living the life today because of what I did at 47 years old? No, I'm living this life today because of what I did as a 25-year-old. That kid that said no to the parties, no to the club, and no to going out there and, you know, staying on that guy who was disciplined to one of them. I said, that's who I'm thankful for. I said, the 75-year-old Patrick's going to be thankful to the 47-year-old Patrick for the decisions I'm making now for the next 25, 28 years. That's what I'm thankful for. The Republican party of whoever some of these entitled people are, if you think Trump's going to be your ticket to the top forever, you are delusional. It is no longer his responsibility. He's doing his part, okay, and he's going to get his legacy and things that he's working on. From here,
Starting point is 01:08:37 the next layer of leaders have to realize what happens to America in 10 years, 20 years, 30 years is because of what we do today. If we are these entitled, like, let me tell you what we have this, you're going to have a very big problem the next 10, 20, 30 years. What's the old wolf, young wolf analogy? What's that whole thing again? That's the whole thing. He says, make sure the young wolf in you takes care of the old wolf that one day you'll be. Anyways, let's go to the next story.
Starting point is 01:08:59 Let's go to the next story. We covered this enough. I'm sorry that I upset you on that way. No, you didn't upset me. I just want Florida to stay right. I am not attracted to entitle people that think they automatically deserve the vote. Life doesn't work that way. It just doesn't.
Starting point is 01:09:14 We have to keep improving and earning people's vote. We have to earn people's vote. They deserve for us to continuously earn their votes. Talking about a guy that keeps earning people's vote as a capitalist. Elon Musk posts a video saying, hey, look at the latest semi-truck. Nine years ago, he said this was coming. It's finally here. We should see what it looks like.
Starting point is 01:09:30 The guy standing right in front of it talking about it. Here's him. Go for it. Welcome to the Tesla semi-event. We're super excited to start production with the Tesla semi-truck. And this is really going to be a revolutionary truck that is capable of carrying the heaviest load. over very long distances, with ease of recharge, megacharger that's capable of a megawatt of power.
Starting point is 01:09:55 This is really going to be a phenomenal truck. And it's going to be really also a driver's truck. Drivers are going to love driving this truck because it just has so much acceleration. It's almost like a sports car in truck form. So it's going to be the funnest truck to drive. In the very near future, we'll be adding in the self-driving features. So these will be incredibly important for
Starting point is 01:10:16 for safety. So if somebody's on a long truck journey, they can engage the Tesla self-driving and greatly improve safety and comfort of driving so that the driver arrives at the destination and still feels refreshed. Otherwise, driving for many hours straight is quite exhausting. So this is really going to be a game changer truck. And also it's going to make a ton of sense economically because the cost of electricity per mile is much less than the cost of diesel, especially in these crazy times. What a great timing too. So I think this is really going to be something that works on every level.
Starting point is 01:10:50 I'd recommend placing more orders if you haven't already. The waiting list is already pretty significant. And this is really going to be a breakthrough product for heavy shipping. Thank you. And thank you for coming. So check this out. The Tesla truck can go up to 500 miles loaded, okay? Consume about 1.7 kilowatt per mile and recover roughly 60% of its range in 30 minutes.
Starting point is 01:11:15 of the charge that they have. So large fleet operators are the ones that are mainly excited about that you got Walmart, D.HL, you got PepsiCo. You know, some of these guys, a shipper coalition recently selected Tesla as the primary supplier for an order of. You ready?
Starting point is 01:11:32 They ordered 2,500 electric class 8 trucks. 2,500. They ordered. One, D.H.L.'s reaction, especially meaningful, because they actually tested it. So they're the ones that are, you know, super excited about. Fleet CFOs, when diesel is expensive, they're sitting there saying, are you kidding me?
Starting point is 01:11:49 I'm paying, you know, Axios reported Tesla's comparison shown diesel fuel costing roughly 80 cents a mile recently versus a 20 to 30 cents mile for electricity. So those guys, the CFOs are excited. Drivers who have actually driven it, they sit there and say, you mean to tell me I can take a nap and relax and watch a movie and this guy self-driving? Yes. Now, who's worried is the question? Tom, I'm going to come to you with this one.
Starting point is 01:12:11 Truck stop operators. That's scary. Truck stop operators and charging infrastructure companies. Think about where you're going to go. That's a business right there, right? So they're worried about what's going to happen with them. Small trucking companies, the big guys can build depot charging. Pepsi can say, well, install charges at our distribution center.
Starting point is 01:12:32 Small trucking companies cannot do that. They don't have those types of resources. And long call operators, 500 miles sounds enormous until you compare it with diesel. A diesel class A truck can often travel well beyond. a thousand mile between Phil. So 500 miles is not as long as you think it is compared to others. Now, of course, the resting, like instead of resting and I'm able to take a nap, you can make up some of the time there.
Starting point is 01:12:58 So those are some of the things. It's exciting. I love the fact that he's saying he's going to do this and he delivered on it. Of course, everything big you're trying to do in your life is going to be 10 times harder than you think, and it takes 10 times longer than you think it was going to take. Tom, your thoughts on this. Well, I think that this is disruption. and it's also opportunity.
Starting point is 01:13:16 If you're in the trucking industry and this is going to be your truck and you're like, look, I've got a partner with people. The smaller truckers are going to have to partner with the bigger ones and it's going to lead to some mergers consolidation. Some people say that'll affect
Starting point is 01:13:30 price per goods. But this is coming in exactly the wrong time for the trucking industry because the trucking industry is suffering through the cost of diesel. Pat, you and I, I won't say his name because I'm going to say two businesses here. I'm going to call him A and B because it's in Chicago and I don't want to expose anybody. But there is a trucking company that was working
Starting point is 01:13:53 with one of our friends who's in factoring. And what factoring is, think of this way, Vinnie, you tell buying future payments. Right. Well, but it goes like this. You told, you know, Adam, that you're going to deliver him five tons of corn every week all summer long. Love the corn. And all the sudden, and you've got, you have a little bit of a buffer so you could pay your truck drivers, and you could buy diesel fuel and pick up the corn, you take it to Adam, and then he pays you. Well, all of a sudden, the cost is going up, and you don't have a 20% profit anymore. You only have a 5% profit.
Starting point is 01:14:27 So you give me, the factoring guy, says, listen, can you give me an advance on what Adam's going to pay me when I deliver the corn? Why don't you just have Adam pay you? I can't. I need to pay for the diesel and it's expensive. Get it to Adam. So I can get it to Adam. and he doesn't pay until I deliver the corn and he inspects it that it's all high quality.
Starting point is 01:14:47 So you have factoring. And right now, there is a factoring company in Chicago that said one of their customers, Pat, one of their customers lost two million of the two and a half million of EBITA they have this year on fuel cost. Last year, two and a half million of EBITA, this year, half a million.
Starting point is 01:15:05 Oh my gosh. And they are scared to death. So they're going to have to park the trucks and not even put him to work? Well, and by the way, if they park the trucks, they better hide them because the bank's going to come get them. Because they've got to pay for those trucks. They got leases on those trucks. They got payments on those trucks.
Starting point is 01:15:20 And in California, today, in California, with the, I think it's $2.7 tax, we're seeing 801 for diesel in California. Was legitimately over the weekend, there was 801 diesel, not just at one location. There was multiple locations that it breached eight. Now, I think it's back to $7.65 this morning, but still, oh, back to $765. Oh, dear God. You know, that's still $2 above $5.50. And at $5.50 we announced that we had economic stress. 550 diesel creates economic stress.
Starting point is 01:15:54 And so I think this is coming at exactly the right time, you know, for Elon and bringing it out. It's bringing it at the right time. But yeah, look at this. $6 to $10, 66%. Yep. So, by the way, a user said on a super chat, nobody wants EVs or voted for this junk. That's Lance Duly. Gas and diesel is the best. Well, Lance, respectfully, you could say that, but the market talks. So if the market places orders of thousands of these EVs, they're telling you they want it. Now, if it works or it doesn't work, we're also going to find that out six, 12, 24 months later. But the reality of it is, he said he was going to do it. And if you're going to make that investment into this of knowing this, is eventually going to be here, you better believe it's because there's a market for. Nobody comes out with a product that's, and by the way, it may fail, it may not succeed, but the market has been excited about this for a while.
Starting point is 01:16:52 So we'll see what it happened. Adam, your thoughts on this. Yeah, well, look, Tom said the magic word, which is disruption. And there's disruption going on in many different industries. This might be the biggest. You know, I had a heart to heart with a buddy of mine who was an Uber driver. And I said, how long are you planning on being the Uber driver? And he's like, I don't know, this is what I got going on right now.
Starting point is 01:17:12 I said, you better look for a new job immediately, bro. He's like, what do you mean? I go, let me just explain something to you. Because obviously you guys know that I take Uber and Lyft every single day. By the way, if Lyft wants to give me a sponsor, we'll take it here. If you're an American, if you're an American, it's actually, we should probably work. If you're an American who speaks English and has a functioning brain and wants success, you better start making alternative plans ASAP, bro.
Starting point is 01:17:41 I see Waymo's with no drivers. Now Elon is basically delivering these semi-trucks that can basically drive themselves. Disruption is coming. You know, like in Game of Thrones, they're like winter is coming. Winter is coming for the trucking industry and the driving industry.
Starting point is 01:17:55 So whether you're driving, whether you're doing in vehicles, any sort of transportation, any sort of trucking, don't get too cocky. I know Pat went off on people getting a little too cocky and a little too comfortable when it comes to debates and elections. Don't get too cocky.
Starting point is 01:18:07 if you're in this driving industry. I'm telling you right now, disruption is coming. And I think there's 4 million professional drivers out there, 2 million driving big rigs and 2 million driving other types of vehicles. You might not have a job for much longer. That's my point.
Starting point is 01:18:22 And go ahead. I just wanted to point out how, Elon, I don't, I don't, you want, I'll stay on the story because I just wanted to show you what SpaceX did today. Because on top of the trucks and the EVs and everything,
Starting point is 01:18:32 SpaceX Starship rocket successfully reached orbit, deployed its V3 Starling satellite, for the first time making it. Like today was the official Starship's first revenue generating flight. And this is a big milestone for him. Like so bad, besides the cars, besides this, besides the neural link, he's freaking launching satellites like one hour ago.
Starting point is 01:18:50 Look at that. Boom. And he's just, dude, this guy is nonstop. He's not messing around. You know what? This guy, Elon, I think he's going to do some big things in his life. He's on to something. He's figuring something out.
Starting point is 01:18:59 I don't know. Keeping his promises. He is a big thing. He is. He is. Keeping his promises. Let's go to the next story. Next one I want to get to is we talk about that.
Starting point is 01:19:07 We talk, okay. Do we want to go to the UK police? Let's go to that one. Okay, so what page is that on, Vinny? Page, Addendum 6. Let me read that, and I'll come to you. So, UK arrests five men under terrorism, explosives acts close to the U.S. airbase. Apparently, 125 U.S. soldiers are at this base.
Starting point is 01:19:27 Let me read this, and then, Vinny, I'll come to you. British police arrest five men Sunday on suspicion of offenses under the explosives act near Raff Fairford, the Southwest England base hosting U.S. Air Force bombers used in operations against Iran. The police declared a major incident evacuated about 85 households and set a 400 meter cordon while army explosive experts examined vehicles. Counterterrorism policing said the men were also arrested
Starting point is 01:19:54 on suspicion of preparation of a terrorist attack. Penny, what happened to you overnight? So allegedly, these five guys, and can you show a photo? By the way, I sent Connor a photo Pat, just, I know they enhanced it. These are the guys that were there. It was a little bit blurier. They just made it a little bit more clear.
Starting point is 01:20:13 Let's not play this game. There was one of the inspectors, whatever you want to call them, the chief, they came out and they, you know, they were like, we don't want to speculate about these people's ethnicity or their background. And I'm going to give you guys the translation.
Starting point is 01:20:28 Five Muslim immigrants. By the, these are British nationals. Okay. Try to bomb your neighborhood. But if you dare point out that they're Muslim, and you want them in prison for life. Can we watch a clip? Yeah, go ahead.
Starting point is 01:20:40 Go ahead. Go ahead. So I'm from the local force, so I'm from Gloucestershire, just to make that clear. So at around 1245 a.m. today, Sunday the 27th of September, police received a call relating to three suspicious vehicles traveling towards R.E.F. Fairford. Armed officers responded and subsequently arrested five men
Starting point is 01:21:05 in the Welford area on suspicion of committing offenses under the Explosives Act. The men were taken into custody where they remain. A 400-meter cordon has been put in place around the vehicles while the army's explosive. Go towards the end.
Starting point is 01:21:21 Go towards the end. All three of those vans were explosive. You know what damage that would do? And nationally. In particular, we are working closely with our partners in counter-terrorism policing. Gloucester police's focus at this time is on the local community
Starting point is 01:21:37 and I'd like to thank the residents who have left their homes this morning for their understanding and support. The whole neighborhood's gone. We appreciate the disruption that this will, of course, to both them and other local residents in the area, and we'd like to reassure them that we are working as quickly as we can to get them back into their properties. We would also please ask the public not to speculate.
Starting point is 01:21:58 Don't speculate. But to follow official channels for all updates. And by the way, don't speculate. And don't ask questions. You know who all said that? You know who all said that? The British Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, urged people to not speculate the safety and security of the people is our priority. He said the U.S. Embassy warned Americans to exercise caution, noting UK authorities rate the terrorism threat severe. The U.S. Associated Facilities possibly at heightened risk.
Starting point is 01:22:22 Yeah. So basically, don't speculate, meaning don't say what is so blatantly obvious. And you guys, listen to the language, okay? Describe these suspect defenses under the Explosives Act. Just say terrorism. Okay, if you believe they were planning an attack, which they were, call it what it is. Stop using this soft language. I think, Pat, that gets lost in translation.
Starting point is 01:22:43 You have to say what it is. Okay. But they wanted to attack their base, which has our soldiers, 125 times with B1 and B2 bombers, okay? And let's not even, like, look at the trend with the Pakistani rape gangs and everything and everything that's going on. And it also coincides with another story that happened in the Netherlands. 18-year-old girl raped by multiple men, Pat, they don't want to say where these guys are from, okay? And this is what pisses me up. Europe keeps Europe, keeps playing this game where they're scared to talk openly about who was committing these freaking crimes.
Starting point is 01:23:14 Okay, and again, this came out half an hour ago. These are British nationals. These are 20-year-olds, okay? What the hell is getting in these 20-year-olds that are there that you live there that's going to make you want to blow up a freaking base with thousands of people, a bunch of Americans, and all these bombers? And mind you, Pat. And, Connor, I just sent you the video of them.
Starting point is 01:23:33 Could you show Tommy Robinson showed it too? Just the other day, 51 migrants were brought to Dover, England. They were 33 hours. Did you see this? They were crossing the English Channel from Normandy to France. Pat, look at the security and look at how much they give these guys the credence. That is taking them and they're bringing them to a hotel, and they're going to give them money, and they're going to hang out and chill.
Starting point is 01:23:54 This is who? There was migrants on a boat coming 33 hours to Dover. They brought them there. Now they're in England, Pat. Look at, but the president doesn't get that much security. Isn't it crazy? It looks like a team arriving for the Super Bowl. Yeah. And those what is the... Migrants were off the boats were put on the buses and are being brought to hotels as refugees. Why? Because it's their policy to accept them. Accept them and take them and the people... Not crazy? To treat migrants better than citizens? You 100% right.
Starting point is 01:24:26 Exactly. Suicidal empathy. This is it right there. And that's another angle that's them during the day. And how do you think the people of Dover, England, feel that you're treating them like this? Yeah, you're right, Tom. Is messy on that thing? But if you're from Dover, Pat, to take it one step. Tell them what the citizen, what happens to citizen, if they put this on Facebook and say, I don't like this. You will go to jail. You will go to jail.
Starting point is 01:24:45 So this is what bothers me, Pat. Soft language. You have to be careful. Don't criticize. Don't say nothing. No. And then this happens. And then five, a couple days later, five guys are accused of wanting to blow up a freaking base.
Starting point is 01:24:58 Like, enough is enough. We need dirty Harry. Remember dirty Harry. Harry? You know, the mayor's yelling at dirty Harry in the movie. And he says, I don't like this trouble. And he says, well, when I see an adult male with intent to commit rape, I shoot the bastard. That's my policy. And then he says, intent, how did you establish that? It's a naked man with a butcher knife and a hard on running down the, pardon? Running down the alley. I assumed he wasn't collecting for the Red Cross. And the police chief goes, Harry has a point. You know what they're saying.
Starting point is 01:25:29 What they're speculating is that these five men, which age-wise, if you want to know where they're at, one of them was a, so there was a 23-year-old, it's a handful of them. It's a 23-year-old, 25-year-old, 22-year-old that they caught, all these men that they caught, right? But at the same time, when the speculation, if you're wondering what the market is speculating, The market is speculating that these guys are Iranians tied to IRGC is what they're speculating. These guys? They are tied to the IRGC is what they're speculating,
Starting point is 01:26:05 that the IRC is behind it. Again, remember, pure speculation. Who knows? Because a couple of the guys look like they could be from a... Tehrone. That's right. So we'll see what's going to happen, but they're saying there's ties to the IRC.
Starting point is 01:26:19 Speculation. All allegedly. But whatever reason, UK doesn't want to yet publicly report, you know, where their backgrounds are and what they're doing. What did the president say about it? Is this a clip of the president? Go for it. The arrest in the UK was fantastic. Working with Britain, it was an amazing job. We had them under investigation. They were looking to do big damage to our fort. And working with the British worked out great. It may have been Scotland Yard. I don't know. We worked with a lot. We worked
Starting point is 01:26:56 with a lot of them. We had them under view for a long time and we got them. Thank you. And mind you, the farmer. Just give a shout out. Yeah. Shout out to the intelligence community for actually stopping this, stopping this plot. And it sounds like, according to President Trump, that they've been monitoring
Starting point is 01:27:12 these people for quite some time. I saw a report where they were monitoring them, but the straw that broke the camels back, a farmer goes, hey, brown guys, white vans, by the way, and he said eight to ten, Tom. He said eight to ten. 10, Pat, he goes, I'm positive.
Starting point is 01:27:29 There was 8 to 10 of them, but they caught five of them. And you know the good news? They caught these guys. And they're going to find out who the hell these guys are, don't you think? Oh, absolutely. Oh, exactly. Especially if the CIA is there with their little attache case full of syringes. But I just hope that their government, I just hope the government doesn't play this.
Starting point is 01:27:47 Hey, guys, we're going to hold on to it. We don't want to tell you that they were, you know, in this mosque or doing this or doing that. Allegedly. No, what I'm saying is, even if it is Adam, and they are terrorists and they hate the country and they hate America, you think they're going to come on and say it? No, because you let all these people in. You let all these people in that hate your country. Period. Sorry. Well, luckily they caught these people. Yeah, and we'll see. We'll see what happens next.
Starting point is 01:28:11 But there's a little bit of tension right now of anything like this that could happen next. And so people are kind of like, hey, you know, just kind of like, you know, let's be on. Because how desperate is Iran to? Let's assume what Scott Besson said that, they have two more weeks. Let's assume everything that they're saying about how bad is economically in Iran. How desperate do you think Iran is right now?
Starting point is 01:28:35 Extremely. 10 out of 10 desperation. When you're desperate, what do you, like they would always say in insurance agents, do whatever you can to get desperate agents from not selling on their own. Have somebody go sell with them because desperate agents will sell anything for commission, right?
Starting point is 01:28:51 What are desperate people capable of doing? What are desperate countries that just killed 10 to 50,000 of their own people capable of doing? Doomsday. They're willing to do anything. Anything. So, you know what? The intel, if they're able to get their work done right now, you've got to give them credit as they're going through this. Jamie Diamond gave some business advice, and Tom, I'm going to come to you with this one here.
Starting point is 01:29:13 Jamie Diamond says business leaders are sloppy as hell at Communications. This is a Forbes story. He told an audience that most executives are terrible at two skills that matters the most. communication and leadership. His verdict on the business writing was blunt. Leaders send memos and decks that are sloppy as hell burying the point under jargon and then wonder why nobody executes. Diamond argument is that communication is not a soft skill, bolted onto the real job. It is the job.
Starting point is 01:29:41 If people cannot understand what you want, nothing else matters. He pushes brevity, says the say the thing plainly, say it early, cut the throat clearing on leadership, he is equally direct. Too many bosses managed by abdication, hiding behind processes and consensus instead of making a call and owning the best leaders already, visible, decisive, and willing to be disliked for a decision they believe in. How powerful of a breakdown is this time? This is incredibly powerful. And this is coming from the same guy
Starting point is 01:30:13 that absolutely went off on work from home about six months ago. Remember this? And somebody recorded it. He says, you're sitting there, you're not. not as effective. You're not doing this and you're not paying attention and you're on your phones. And he's there. And what he's talking about here is basically human leadership. And I love the point here. Burying the point under jargon and then wonder why nobody executes. It says, I push this right now. I push this at our company right now at times. Not all the time. Fortunately, we've got some great people here. But it's like communication is not a soft skill.
Starting point is 01:30:46 It is the skill. What will you do? And when will you do? And when will you do? do it. And next week, did you do that? That accountability loop nobody seems to like, and people don't. And there is another story in here as well, Pat, if we could go to it, about what businesses expect of young people. Let's look at those four things, and then I've got something up there. I know you know what I'm holding. Yeah, go for it. So the four things that they're talking about that that people want in college graduates and the people is like good businesses that are hiring, What they're asking for, and they say, look, we think you need to have four simple skills. Sound judgment.
Starting point is 01:31:28 Resilience. In other words, if your judgment is wrong, come back and keep trying. Communication. Oh, there's what Jamie Diamond's talk about. And collaboration. No lone rangers. Work as a team. I mean, you take a look at the things here.
Starting point is 01:31:40 We have, and I highlighted them here. This is our culture book. And one of them was recover from setbacks. Go ahead, Tom. Yep. This is our culture book. Our culture book, you can get this at v.t.com. and people see it because they say,
Starting point is 01:31:52 well, you've synthesized the things we should be talking about. And we look for seven qualities among our best associates. Research, hunger, desire, competitiveness, hitting deadlines, an obsession with personal development, curiosity, and we don't want you to be a lone ranger, and we want you to be part of the One Club, do what you say. And take a look at this in what Jamie Diamond's saying, guess what?
Starting point is 01:32:16 In an age of AI, humans that can communicate well, lead well, lead with clarity, get the job done, and work with the team to lead them to get the job done are valuable. Pat, I'm so shocked. Yeah, no, this is a very simple breakdown that when you see some like this, again, the words, visible, decisive, and willing to be disliked for a decision they believe in. Last Friday, before we finish the day and we go to a photo shoot with the family, we had the seventh CEO of Disney come here, Bob Cheape. And he did the first podcast. It was a 2.5, 3-hour podcast for his recent book that's coming out. The interview goes live tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:32:56 Let me tell you, this conversation we had of what happened with them, I'll let you watch it. But based on what was talked about, there were moments that Bob Iger knew Bob Chappek was going to be fired when he became the CEO of Disney, that he set him up for COVID. And he talks about Bob Iger's style of leadership versus how other people, people are at. So these types of stories, this book is coming out, September 29, the interview, we drop it tomorrow, the 29th, whether you're an executive, whether you're a businessman,
Starting point is 01:33:31 whether you're a fan of Disney, whether you want to know what happened in there. I asked them the question about LGBTQ, and we showed a chart of how many LGBTQ members they've had in movies and cartoons and how to stock it. I showed the chart right in front of them. Our team did a great job putting that together, and he had to give an answer to it. And we spent quite a lot of time on that topic alone. But with leadership, it's very simple. This is why Jamie Diamond is respected the way that he is. Visible, decisive, and willing to be disliked for a decision they believe in.
Starting point is 01:33:58 It's not an easy thing to do. By the way, a part of that could be who? A part of that could be Trump. He's visible. Nobody in the other day. There's like, well, you know, you are in a Sarah Huckabee comes out and says, what are he talking about? Your previous president wouldn't even come do these press conferences. He's the most available
Starting point is 01:34:13 president to the press there's ever been. He's visible, he's decisive, and he's willing to be disliked for a decision they believe, and it's not an easy place to be. But I like what Jamie Diamond says about this when it comes down to leadership. Let me get to the next clip here that we have. Next article I'm going to get into with you guys. This one's a bit of a different direction I'm going,
Starting point is 01:34:34 but I think it's important for us to be talking about this. So USC is playing Oregon. And an incident happened in Texas as well. This is college football. And although it's sports, it's more than football we're talking, more than sports we're talking about here. If you can pause it real quick, this is the quarterback of Oregon
Starting point is 01:34:50 is going up and he decides to slide and watch what the opponent does. Go ahead. Watch this clip. We've all seen this. Late hit. Oh, you didn't see this? Vinnie, Adam, you didn't see this? So he's gone.
Starting point is 01:35:06 And look how he's celebrating. Look what number eight is doing celebrating. His own teammates. One of them is celebrating with him. Number six is saying, great job. But one other opponent is coming up and say, stop celebrating. Put your hand down. Look at this other guy. your guy right there put your hand down stop it you can tell he is trying to get him off and stop celebrating and aid continues to celebrate late hit the kind of hit that gets kids injured they're out
Starting point is 01:35:33 they get hit in a big way and look at them working on them the hands come up that's called the fencing position watch this and that means that the brain looks off for a second this is the most dangerous type of hit because the elbow went in the jaw and then the head hits this is horrible They could kill you. Literally kill you. Boom. Of course it can. Now, the good news, Tom, is I think he's doing okay.
Starting point is 01:35:54 I think the reports came back that he's doing okay. And so a lot of people were going out there and, you know, saying USC's program, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. How much of this is on the program? How much of this is on the player? Because a similar type of an incident happened with Texas. And you know, Texas, this is a very well-established, respectful organization that they have. But watch what happens here with a player. who sacks the quarterback and look what he does.
Starting point is 01:36:20 And the players are like, what are you doing? What's like, what? He's pretending to pee on him too. What, what I do, man? Are you serious? His own teammates, like, what is wrong with you? 15 yards. That's what he says.
Starting point is 01:36:37 Or simulating using the restroom. What I do, man? So the coach of Oregon is being interviewed. I send you guys that clip as well if you have it. And he's saying, hey, if you want to go, to Chris Brown contest, concert, go to that team. If you want to win, come over here to us.
Starting point is 01:36:54 Do you have that one that I said, go to the next slide? Yeah, just go and then play this clip. Watch this. Guys, I guess if you're interested in winning football games in you're from this area, you should go to Oregon. If you want to go to Chris Brown concert,
Starting point is 01:37:05 you should go here. Three wins against these guys. If you want to go to Chris Brown concert, and they talk about what happened afterwards. How much of this you put on the player, how much of this you put on the team, how much of this you put on the coach, Tom? So I put this, this type of,
Starting point is 01:37:19 behavior. This type of behavior, I put 50% on the coach, and I'll tell you why. You know, when you're coaching these folks, they need to fear compliance. There are starters. They're in the game, and they need to fear consequence. I don't mean fear hazing like, you know, so many college fraternities and just the ridiculousness of hazing, but they need to be, have great respect for that coach and that the coach would never accept this. Do you think anyone in the history of Belichick would do something like that. No. Hell no.
Starting point is 01:37:54 You'd get cut because the team's more important than you. Do you think anybody would have done this under Bear Bryant? No way. Under Paterno, no way. So I put it 50% on the coach, and then I put it 50% on the player. And I think the team that encourages you, you already saw that there were members of both teams
Starting point is 01:38:16 that were coming over, what are you doing? but there was also members of both team that were like the high five and quiet. What does that tell you? If the whole team comes out on it, goes, what are you doing? Guess what? Then it's the player, 100%.
Starting point is 01:38:29 But that's not what happened. You saw other people that were still in there. And the other side of it is, this is very competitive now. NIL has brought money into it. This is very competitive. Win your place, keep your place. And a lot of these guys want to play on Sunday.
Starting point is 01:38:43 And so they show this kind of grit and determination on Saturday. And then you have a guy that's going to say, well, we're not going to drive this kid. So I think I put half of it on the coach. There's one person that we're not even talking about that. I put a lot of it on. That's parents. You know, parents,
Starting point is 01:38:58 to me, like, you know, your kid behaves like this. Somebody made it okay for them to do it. You're kidding. And I'm not even talking about the USC one. I'm talking more about the Texans one. What do you mean you're behaving like that? You think that's the first time they did that? You think after the sack, he just decided to do
Starting point is 01:39:14 that, or you think he practiced that? You think he played it before the game? You think other people knew he was going to do it. Now, if nobody else knew, the Texans team gave me the vibes that the other players didn't know he was going to do that. Like, what are you doing? I agree. Kind of behavior is this. But to do something like that, dude, like, that is just, that is horrible theatrics. Adam, you were part of Florida State, you know, football and you played sports. What do you think about when you see some like this? Yeah, I mean, the biggest challenge right now is Tom hit it, the NIL, players have more power than ever. So look, I'm a big Miami Hurricanes fan.
Starting point is 01:39:46 I played football in North Carolina, I transferred to Florida State, you know, did the whole walk-on thing. But the reality is these players have more power than ever. And if they don't like what's going on there, they can transfer another team, go to a transfer portal, go get that money, and go elsewhere. So to me, these two situations, the Oregon thing, by the way, Oregon beat USC thing, a lot of times these plays are so bang, bang, you're running at a guy, you're running at a guy. you really can't kind of control yourself. So I don't know if the guy did that intentionally. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. The guy from Texas, you do a sack, you get up,
Starting point is 01:40:25 you don't randomly come up with that in the spur of the moment. You think before the game, if I get a sack, I'm going to do my little urination dance and whip it out and then boom. I've never seen something. To me, it's so dumb. And it's so stupid. And now the referee doesn't have to say on sportsmanlike conduct. He has to say,
Starting point is 01:40:44 Like what are you doing? Like what are you doing? Vinny, what do you think? And listen, last thing, Miami Hurricanes, I grew up in the 80s, 90s when Miami Hurricanes were doing the dance, doing their thing. Michael Irvin, Warren Sapp, Ray Lewis, respect on that. They were never urinating on people. They might have ripped your head off. But to me, Texas, when you got archmanning out there, it's do a little bit better.
Starting point is 01:41:08 I don't like that. And I love that you said that, Pat, it's a combination of parenting, some of the cold. but it's on this person. And I think it's just like, for instance, I'm a little bit on the opposite at him. The urinating, he planned that he's stupid. Okay, the other guy, you almost took his head off. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:25 Okay, and you're celebrating. People are like, yo, bro, the guy could be dead, relax. And these little, by the way, and they don't understand this. Those little decisions that you're doing on this field in that heat of the moment, you're stock because the dream is what? If you're playing college football,
Starting point is 01:41:41 it's the NFL. If you don't think, everybody in the NFL is watching that pat and one day when you try to go into the draft or the combine and they go hey wait is that you? Are you the guy that almost killed somebody because we're all about safety in the NFL now and you celebrate it? Oh, you're the guy that urinated and you think that that's cool. I'm telling you right now your stock dropped substantially and good for them. Good for them. One is on your field and one is behavioral.
Starting point is 01:42:06 By the way, did you see that UFC fight with the Mexican kid, the great fighter? Yeah, he keeps Rossas. He was fighting a Brazilian guy. And in the heat of the moment, the guy just completely lights out. I don't know what you were. Yeah, he was out. He was out. It's just when you're in the octagon and you're on the field, you never know what's going to happen.
Starting point is 01:42:26 But the after the play thing with Texas, to me, there's a level of disgusting. I think it's an ex-stress. It's not acceptable. I got a few other things I want to get into. I think it's unacceptable behavior. I think parents need to be involved and they need to put certain level of fear of. You don't behave like this. this guy. You're representing the team. You're representing the family. You're representing the country.
Starting point is 01:42:47 You have certain things you're representing. You don't behave like that. Pat, not to get too like into the weeds on this. You know, the lack of a father and a parent and a household. Yeah, no. That could be a factor. You're right. No, that goes together. And this leads me to the next story. Messy. Okay. Billionaire soccer player who scored a goal yesterday that people lost their mind. You have the one that I sent you the clip of all the angles. Unbelievable. Of the way he score to score. Just watch this. Can you put this from the beginning? Please watch this from the beginning. Watch this.
Starting point is 01:43:15 Wow. Boom. That looks AI. Dude. Like, oh, I'm crazy. In Miami. Bro.
Starting point is 01:43:27 In Miami, there you go. Oh, go las hole. There's certain players in sports that you're going to miss. This is one of them. He announced, you know what is his last final game for Argentina? What? October 6th. What?
Starting point is 01:43:40 This is his last. game with Argentina. He announced it. What's the game? Ben in at the Estadio Monumental and Buenos Iris, FIFA and Reuters report. I think tickets sold within seconds. Of course. Sold that within seconds of him saying he's no longer playing. He just bought a house. He bought the house right next door in his Fort Lauderdale Mansion for $8 million, give or take. I hear it's a great neighborhood. If there's a statement that he's making, think about this. He's planting. How many cities do you think would love to have messy around the world? Every single one.
Starting point is 01:44:11 How many states would love to have him? He had 50 choices of states to choose. He chose Florida. Out of all the counties in Florida, he chose Broward County. Out of all the cities he could have chosen in Florida, what did he choose? Fort Lauderdale. Why did he choose Fort Lauderdale? Weird.
Starting point is 01:44:24 Why did you think maybe he and his family, you think this was a decision they made on safety, on low-key, on living on an island. Leadership, taxes, all of that. Even some people are like, well, after retirement, because the stadium, just so you know, if you go from our place, we live right next to him, if you're, go from our place to the arena that they played. The other day I went to Inter Miami again. We were hanging out with the owner of Inner Miami, Jorge Moss,
Starting point is 01:44:47 the stadium looks ridiculous of what it looks like. And a gentleman of the sport. One of the owners you loved the league. Yeah, he was just a pure class act. And you go there and you're thinking to yourself, all right, so he's probably going to move to Miami after he retires. And no, he buys the house right next door. So who knows what the long-term goals are.
Starting point is 01:45:08 But it gives more credence to people who call me and Meneck me. I get Menex all the time. I made another video the other day. Why I moved to Florida five and a half years later? Because now you actually live here. So the first one I made was a different story. This is the second one. There's a reason why people like that are moving to cities like Fort Lauderdale and surrounding area. But this is a massive shout out specifically to Fort Lauderdale over Miami. Over Miami. What community has more Hispanics? For Lauderdale or Miami? Miami. Why did he choose Fort Lauderdale? Because Adam's not there. But you know, he's coming.
Starting point is 01:45:40 over here. So, Adam, your thoughts on this? Well, congratulations to Messi, amazing, the goat. There's someone that might be a little upset right now, and I don't want to rain on our friends parade, but there's an incredible soccer player who's 13 years old now that still thinks that Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world. And I don't want to do this. I don't want to do it, but at this point, he would flatten your, can I just come out? Can I just come out?
Starting point is 01:46:10 asked this question. At this point, can we just settle the debate? Messi is the goat. Ronaldo is not the guy. Can we just come out and say it? I don't want to hear you. Good luck getting other people who are Portuguese. Ronaldo diehard fans to agree there. Just like good luck getting LeBron fans to agree that Jordan is better. Messy is Jordan and Ronaldo is potentially LeBron might not even be that high. But I just like to settle that debate. Plant that flag right now. Well, there's speculation that Messi and Ronaldo are about to play in a game that they'll be teammates for the first time ever. And the world of soccer is looking forward to seeing that.
Starting point is 01:46:49 There's a real possibility. It's like Pippin and Jordan teaming up. Yeah. So this is about Boka Juniors that they're talking. We'll get them together. And there's, you know, Carlos Tevez, this farewell match in December 2026. He wants those guys to want to be teammates. And my God, it would be a spectacle for the world to see.
Starting point is 01:47:09 You know what everyone's going to want to see in that game? Messi gives a pass. Rinaldo scores a header, you know, and the fans go crazy, and Messi and Ronaldo hug each other as they're about to leave the sport to the greatest to ever lace them up in the history of soccer.
Starting point is 01:47:25 Unbelievable moments for these guys to experience. But shout out to Messi for that goal that he scored and congratulations for him to plant his flag in the state of Florida and also for Lauderdale. I want to play a clip for you guys. You guys know I love music. And how many guys love Teddy Swims? What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:47:44 You sang you going to Miami for a minute. Literally, Vinny and I put on a concert singing to Teddy Swims on an hour drive to a fight that was taking place. So check this out. This is in the middle of the street. This guy is singing his song. People are just walking by. They don't know who he is. Most people don't know what Teddy Swims looks like.
Starting point is 01:48:05 He just went regular clothes. After the guy is done, Teddy Swim starts singing Acapella. I just want you to see how amazing this video. It's got like, I don't know, 100 million views, whatever Scott. Watch this clip here. Go for it. Wait for it. I don't know if I'm scared after you do it.
Starting point is 01:48:23 And he's good. Norwood Berkeley. Great voice. People are just walking by. They don't know who these people are. Does he know what's Teddy's win? Yeah, he knows. Others don't.
Starting point is 01:48:41 Now watch. When you're around there, I don't care. I was out of time. I watched this. Oh, my God. Who's going to know that's Teddy's covered up. You don't even know who. He's about to come up, guys.
Starting point is 01:48:54 Wait for it. This guy's very talented, this kid. He is. Construction work. Wait for it. He's about to hit it. I think your crap Oh
Starting point is 01:49:21 So then no one knows Front row Looks like it's in the UK somewhere right Those are migrants in the back And then they Some people start to realize Isn't that crazy
Starting point is 01:49:37 These stories where you hear about Like I think one time Is this true time That you two was stuck at the airport At a whatever it was And then they decide to put on a concert They start performing at the airport Have you heard about these stories
Starting point is 01:49:50 Apparently like Bono and these guys Sometimes when these singers get stuck, they just start performing. And people are like, wait a minute, is this real? Is this really happening? There's one TikTok account that they basically do that. They're just sort of like it's like a flash mob, but for musicians. Yeah. I'll see if I can find that account.
Starting point is 01:50:07 Freaking Teddy swims. He is ridiculous. Is he not ridiculous? Yeah, that voice is incredible. So the average, he was so covered up. You have no clue who he is. No. 34 years old lighting it up.
Starting point is 01:50:18 You were going to say something about this. Well, you know, I got to give someone a shout out right quick. Here we go. You know, it's shot out. Adam's going to shout out. I think you're going to appreciate this one. There was a girl who knew a girl on a subway. This person does not get enough credit at Valuetainment,
Starting point is 01:50:29 but we have our musician DJ, Mickey Sadillo here, that's constantly playing music. I'm not sure if you've heard her. I know you might have heard her sneeze. Yes. She put me on to Teddy Swims in 2000. What? I'm sorry, in 2020.
Starting point is 01:50:45 In 2000. When he was four years old, in 2020, I said, what is that right there? She goes, oh, it's Teddy swims, and the guy has just can, he has that sort of the door walking out that door. Incredible. Teddy, keep doing you and do me.
Starting point is 01:51:00 This is my little opinion. Don't go jelly roll. Don't go Hollywood on us. Stay you. I don't think he will. You don't think he will? No, I think he's going to go do one of those. He'd be crazy.
Starting point is 01:51:10 He'd be crazy. You think I'm crazy. Last clip I want to show you is Max Verstappen. This one's for you, Tom. Yeah. So Max is being interviewed, and he's telling a story. about what's happening with him. Can I win eight championships?
Starting point is 01:51:25 Because that's the number, right? To win eight, if you want to be the goat, and a lot of people think Max has what it takes to be the greatest of all time. The guy is very unique. There's a story about him and his father. I'll try to find that as well that goes with him. But in this clip, look how much perspective he's given.
Starting point is 01:51:39 Go for it. And there's a reason why I'm playing this for somebody that hopefully are watching this. Go ahead. You know, the ultimate goal, can you win eight titles? Yeah, it would be amazing, yes. But another hand, it's not really necessary. I mean, there's so many more things that I want to do in life and also just have a bit of fun catch up with my family
Starting point is 01:51:57 Because I know that there will be a day of course that you know nowadays sometimes my dad or mom calls me and I'm like I'm not busy you know like I'll call them back later, but I also know there will be a day that they are not calling me anymore You know because they won't be here and these kind of moments it makes me really like realize that It's not all about racing in Formula 1 and I want to spend time with them because from when I was four years old all of our lives My family's life has been dedicated to me and success and trying to get to Formula One. And at one point, that's enough. And then you have to give back and spend more time with them. And at the end of the day, that's way more important than, you know, all the success here.
Starting point is 01:52:35 That's great. I mean, I love it. I love to be competitive. I love to win championships. I love to win races. But at one point, family again, comes first because people get older and you really have to savor those moments. What a freaking perspective, right, with the guy. It's interesting because last night I get a call from one of our guys.
Starting point is 01:52:57 You know who this is. We love him. This guy's family to us. We love him. We love her. And we love their kids. And he had to fly to L.A. last minute yesterday. Because it was the last moment he was going to have with his mom.
Starting point is 01:53:15 And he said, I had to be their bedside next to her. So he goes, he makes it. He makes it bedside right next to her. Wow. And I'm talking to him last night. And he says, she doesn't speak back, but she's nodding, that she's hearing what I'm saying. And I literally just got a text 30 minutes ago that she passed away. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:53:35 This just happened. 30 minutes ago that she passed away. And, dude, this is like, you know, we talk about this, how this thing goes all of a sudden. It goes all of a sudden. And this individual that just passed away, she had the most amazing spirit, happy, positive, fun to be around. You wouldn't see an ounce of bitterness in her. She was just fun to be around, and it's gone, right?
Starting point is 01:54:02 Thank God he had a chance to go and be bedside, where he knows for the rest of his life he was there when that moment happens. Some people don't have that luxury. That is a very difficult thing that happens. Of course, we want another day, another second, another moment. I was watching the interview of that one actor that he says, man, he says, you know what I miss? just the sound of my mom,
Starting point is 01:54:24 I would just give anything to just talk to her one more time. I just want to hear her voice. I just want her to say hi. It says every day I would call and talk to my mom. Every day I would just call and talk to my mom. And I don't have that anymore. So sometimes it was just a conversation,
Starting point is 01:54:37 Ma, how are you doing? Ma, how are you doing? Ma, here's what's going on. You know those people that talk to their moms every day, you're like, what a lucky community where it's like mom is like fully supporting love. And your mom's an angel. I know you're just working right now
Starting point is 01:54:49 and she's listening. You went to L.A. be with her and how she always had surgery on her foot she had surgery and all that stuff yeah well i saw this video with max and i'm like you know what this guy's arguably going to go down as one the top three greatest drivers of all time and he's given perspective of what happens with family because that day is eventually coming for everybody yeah where that call is made and this is it and we no longer can make that phone call so if you're watching this i don't know man make that phone call you know not everybody has the best of relationships one of the things we're
Starting point is 01:55:24 working on right now with the podcast that we're trying to bring this new show on is for fathers who haven't spoken to their son for 15 20 years or sons who haven't spoken to their fathers for 10 15 20 years we're going to have a casting call that we'll have which if one is open to the other one and i'm going to call the father or the son to unite them and come down here and do an interview together with them because that father-son relationship to me is very unique uh for them to have that So anyways, you know, while you're hearing this story with Max, and he says he wants to be around his dad more, there's a story that he tells once.
Starting point is 01:55:56 He says when he was a kid and he was carting, go-karting. One race, his dad is chewing his ass out. And he says, my dad was so pissed off at me because I kept trying to talk to him and he didn't want to talk to me. And he eventually was so disgusted by the way I drove that he pulls over the car and tells Max to get the hell out of the car because he doesn't want to talk to him.
Starting point is 01:56:23 Max says my dad drops me off at the gas station. I have no clue what to do. This man who's my hero, I love him. He doesn't want to talk to me. He just goes home. He says, luckily, my mom was five, ten minutes away. She came and picked me up to take me home. 13 years old?
Starting point is 01:56:36 13 years old. And you know when you see them together? Because the dad is a cycle competitor himself. It's just a beautiful story that even a son who had a father that drove him so hard-court cannot wait to have more time with him. Isn't that a beautiful thing? And recognizing the time.
Starting point is 01:56:51 And recognizing the time. And recognizing the time. And I love videos like that because, by the way, I really like and respect for Strappen to see him and like you see another layer of a human being, which is like you have the eye and the prize, but to have that know-how of time, Pat. I was talking to somebody the other day.
Starting point is 01:57:10 We have one, like, you never had this. When we were young, nobody, you didn't get it. Give it damn. Nobody cared about time. The older we get, we're looking because, and I don't know if anybody else is out there. How fast. It's already September 28th. Time is flying by, and I tell people all the time. I love that you said it back.
Starting point is 01:57:26 Talk to your parents. Even if it's not that you're fighting, call them, talk to them. I talk to my mother every single day, multiple times every day, not because I have to, because I want to. I love her to death. And we talked about this the other day, too, about kids and their families and, like, remember we were talking about Tico. Tico's a guy that's like, I don't want photos.
Starting point is 01:57:43 I don't want to be, leave me alone. And I told them in the car, I go, Tico, I don't have any photos of me. That's crazy. There's maybe. There's maybe, Patrick, maybe. And my mom can attest when I got out of the Air Force. I'm sorry, when I graduated, there might be one photo. I think she has it of me over here.
Starting point is 01:58:01 My mom and me, Pat, I'm looking at my dad and I'm emotional. And my dad's just looking at the camera. That's the only photo. I have one photo that I'm kind of next to my. Are you freaking see? Yes. And she has, I'm going to have her. Mom, if you're hearing this, send me the photo so I can show Patrick,
Starting point is 01:58:15 one, Pat, and you're going to see in my face the sadness of me looking at my father. And that's all I have is that one and memories, okay? So when I tell people, and I've talked to him about it too, about getting close, your dad is your dad, even if he's in the picture and you love him, but your mother carried you, she nurtured you, she brought you here. And I know some people have messed up relationships, but the mother, the connection, especially if she's been good to you and like Pat, and the messed up thing is, You have to think about that.
Starting point is 01:58:44 You have to foresee the future because they're not going to be here forever. Because the way that the world works, you're supposed to bury your parents, not the other way around. And it's a sad thing. It's a sad thing, but recognizing it and getting close to the path thing is one of the most important things in life. It really is, besides God. Go ahead, Tom. Yeah. I can't talk right now.
Starting point is 01:59:06 Oh, Tom. I just, yeah. How important, Tom. How important, Tom. How important, Tom. The love. The love. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:14 Oh, love. You know, my heart's heavy for a friend. You're the best, huh? You have to cherish the last words because during there's days you don't get the words anymore. You know, they're not going to be there. And so you have to value those and really be very intentional about them.
Starting point is 01:59:45 And I think it's hard to be, you know, the world is so busy and there's so many demands and the communication comes out so fast and furious and the things we got to do, it's such a busy place now that that competes and you forget just how intentional you've got to be to put that time down and to remember it, you know?
Starting point is 02:00:09 Cancer got my dad at 61. And you realize, you know, I got all the answers I'm going to get. I got all the moments I'm going to have and I protect them like jewels that you have to sit there and know each day you got to make another jewel with the people you got left and then and protect those it's just it's a it's a heavy topic to talk about and then my heart's very heavy for this uh this person this morning really heavy so well i just want to uh end maybe on a lighter note uh shout out to my mom because
Starting point is 02:00:50 today. It's her birthday. Oh. What are the odds? Seriously? What are the odd? My mom, we're going out. By the way, I don't know. I said, Connor, Humberto, I sent you a picture of the last time I took my mom out on a double date with a good friend of mine, which was your mom. And we did a double date, Vinnie, with my mom and your mom.
Starting point is 02:01:09 Yes. This is where the picture should show up and tee it up. That's a funny picture. I guess our guys aren't pulling up the pictures. But anyway, happy birthday to my mom. And you've inspired me. incredibly how much, how tight you are with your mom and how tight you are with your dad. So I just want to give my mom a happy birthday shout out. And I did send the team pictures, but maybe they're not listening. I don't know.
Starting point is 02:01:33 They're listening. They're probably also in the back emotional themselves trying to hold together. Okay, different kind of a podcast and how it ended, you know, but that's the reality of it. Everything I do at this phase of my life is just creating those memories. So the way Tom put it, what was the word you used? You said it's creating those jewels. right, creating the next ones. That's really all it's all about.
Starting point is 02:01:55 You know, it's having to, yeah. Oh, there it is. There's our double date. Hey, my, happy birthday, mom, there you go. And I hope Sweet Lana's feeling great. Happy birthday, Mrs. Sazenik. I'm sending it. I'm sending this to Connor right now.
Starting point is 02:02:05 Connor, I'm slacking this. Oh, you've found the picture of you and your dad. Oh, your picture of your dad? Yeah, Pat. Can I ask you? Yeah, I want to hear that. Okay, since we're on this emotional journey right now, my favorite guy, how's Papa Gabriel doing?
Starting point is 02:02:16 He's doing good, you know? We were with them yesterday. We were with them every day. But, you know how it is. Like people come over, all they want to do is they want to talk to him. We had a birthday party yesterday for Dilly Boy. And everyone just sits next to him and talks to him.
Starting point is 02:02:29 And he tells us crazy stories that he tells. You know, whatever he's going to talk about. On marriage, relationship, family, all this stuff. You don't get a lot of these. Look at this picture. And I forgot. Look at my mom's crying. Look at me looking at my dad.
Starting point is 02:02:40 That was my dad. What are you thinking? I was just. Are you thinking? Is he proud of you thinking? That's exactly. That's what was going. Pat.
Starting point is 02:02:46 And I was so emotional to see them because it really, the military really messed me up. because I was, I never was away from them. And this is that moment that I'm looking, Pat, this is literally, literally the only photo. And look at my mom. She was crying. I'm crying, my brother who was already in. And I was like, that's the only photo that I have my father.
Starting point is 02:03:04 Look at his hand. He has a camcorder because he was proud. And just yesterday my mom was like, my mom just thinks, Pat, my mom goes Vinnie. Because there was, Pat, there's no inclination of what I'm doing right now in my life. She's like, I can't imagine how proud he would have been to see exactly what you're doing right now, it would have been insane. It would have been insane.
Starting point is 02:03:22 And just so you know, you, your brother, and your sister all served. My sister joined after this. My sister joined after this. And your mom served. Yeah, my mom was in the Iranian. Why don't cure your mom is? I love her. This is the only picture of you.
Starting point is 02:03:36 That's the only picture that I have of me and my father. Next to my dad. Yeah. Even as a kid? My mom could attest. Yeah, I don't even think there's photos of them, either they didn't take them or God knows where they are. This is the only photo that I,
Starting point is 02:03:49 I have of my dad. What an interesting. You told me this two nights ago. I'm like, that's hard to believe. But Vinny, have you framed this picture or no? She hasn't. She hasn't on a photo. This picture is a picture that tells so many freaking stories.
Starting point is 02:04:05 If you ever write a book, like, this has to be in the book, bro. And I'm looking right now. And it's crazy. You're looking at your dad. You're not even crazy. That's what I'm saying. This is the only person that's looking at his dad. No, Adam, that's part of the story.
Starting point is 02:04:19 Yeah. You understand the dynamics here. This isn't about what are you doing. This is about a boy who's 18, 19 years old. How old are you right here? 19. 19 years old is wondering, is my dad finally proud of me?
Starting point is 02:04:31 That's it. That's how I processed this picture. And let me ask you, how much longer after this does he pass away? I want to say a year or two, maybe a year or two years. After this. After this.
Starting point is 02:04:45 Two years. Yeah, because I was in Malmaston, Air Force Base Montana. My mom called me and goes, hey, listen, and he went to the doctor, don't be emotional. It's going to be okay. He's going to take chemo.
Starting point is 02:04:53 And then a couple months, boom, gone. So, yeah. Nothing like family, man. Precious. It goes by very, very quick. Anyways, gang, great being with you guys. Tomorrow, the Bob Chapec interview, Disney, for 7th CEO in Disney, 103 years.
Starting point is 02:05:09 His interview goes live tomorrow, and we will do this again on Friday. God bless everybody. Take care. Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye. For 50 years, Canadians have wondered what the names of IKEA furniture mean, like Natopa, the guardrail for children's beds.
Starting point is 02:05:25 Natopa means giving your favorite person room to grow. It means their safety and your piece of... No. In Swedish, Natapa means night monkey. Mom, he's back. IKEA, 50 years of Swedishness at home. Look, he's wearing little pajamas. So cute.
