Starting point is 00:00:01 Did you ever think you would make it? I said I'm something like it takes sweet with the story. I know this life meant for me. Adam, what's your point? The future looks bright. My handshake is better than anything I ever signs. Right here. You are a one of one?
Starting point is 00:00:19 My son's right. I think I've ever said this before. Okay, weekends are on a corner with a lot of stories, folks. A lot of stories. Apple lost $268 billion in market cap. yesterday since they announced that the prices on everything's going to go up and then Microsoft followed suit and Tom's like what do you want them to do prices for chips went up they have to do it it's not like they need to pass the price to
Starting point is 00:00:46 somebody so what happens there and by the way they took ahead they probably knew this was going to happen then you have this video game that's coming out GTA okay I don't know at first I thought it was different initial but they had to correct me because one of them I said was a very bad initial allegedly acronym so GTA already a billion pre-orders. The scheme's not coming out until November of this year. They've already sold a billion.
Starting point is 00:01:10 The average game is $79.99. The standard. The ultimate one is like $100.99. This has never happened before. They did a commercial. Their second trailer, Vinnie, I don't know if you saw this or not, Tom. Do you know on their second trailer, how many views their second trailer to promote the video game had within 24 hours?
Starting point is 00:01:27 How many views second trailer within 24 hours? This video. 20 million. That's a lot. It's like a movie premiere. That's a movie premiere. 24 hours. This thing, I'd be willing to bet ahead of billion views.
Starting point is 00:01:38 450 million views within 24 hours was the trailer when it came out. So there's a lot of things with that. We'll talk about it. They're saying it's going to break a record selling 40 to 45 million of the video out of $100. Think about the kind of money this is going to make. So it's very, very big. They haven't done this for 12, 13 years.
Starting point is 00:01:56 So the next one's coming up. Venezuela, horrendous earthquake. I'm getting messages. I have a lot of friends in Venezuela. and I'm checking with a couple of the guys that I'm talking to, like this many people are missing, that many people are missing. Yesterday we got a Meneck from Tim Ryan. Tim Ryan sent a manette about a doctor that's working in a hospital. She went in the streets to work.
Starting point is 00:02:17 It's that bad. 54,000 people are missing in Venezuela after the 7.4 and 7.6 earthquake. Our prayers goes out to everybody in Venezuela. I've been through earthquakes when I lived in Northridge, the big one. I was in Northridge when a big one hit and it lasted 40 seconds. They said this lasted 40, 45 seconds. And you just see the buildings coming down. You see families running around.
Starting point is 00:02:41 We'll show some clips on that and react to another story. A pastor beat up apparently a neighbor. And at first when he see this clip, you're like, what is wrong with a pastor beating up a neighbor? Then he gave his argument. Then you're like, good for this pastor for beating up the neighbor. You're like, it's not often that you support a pastor. I don't know what scripture he was reading. But he beat him up and one of the neighbors like, yeah, these neighbors would always call the N-Word with us and all this other stuff.
Starting point is 00:03:06 So, yeah, we'll cover that. Then there's another story with Mamdani's three candidates winning. One of the candidates said, I wipe myself with the American flag. That's who won. These people hate America. Hate America. And they're getting collected. And it's so bad that even on the view, one of the girls had to tell Joy, joy, this is what these people said.
Starting point is 00:03:24 And if you're not too careful, you accept them into the Democratic Party, it's going to be a mess for you because they're far left. So Democrats are worried about what's going to happen with them come 2026 and 2028. Then there's an interview, two different actresses. One of them is this girl from, what is it called, the Supergirl? Supergirl. And her name is Millie Alcock. So Millie, she's given an interview. And in this interview, she's saying, you know, maybe they may be transgender and maybe they're probably.
Starting point is 00:03:54 You just have to see the way she's doing the interview. I don't want to, I want you to watch how she reacts to. Then you got Indy Navarate, who is like Vinny's latest crush, which I don't blame him. She's beautiful. Amazing actress. And she's an amazing actress in obsession. You should see the contrast of these two different interviews. And you tell me who you like more and who you want to support more.
Starting point is 00:04:14 We'll show both. There's this mother in 2021, very dark story here, very, very dark story here. She drowns her 15-year-old. 15-month-old. I'm sorry, 15-month-old. Then the dad and the other kid come. And she's allegedly stabbing them. Stabbing them.
Starting point is 00:04:32 Then she goes to court. And you know what the judge says? The judge says, well, this is because of the reaction from COVID. Apparently they let her go. In the parking lot, she's being interviewed. In the interview, I don't even want to say anything. I just want you to see it. Let's react to it together.
Starting point is 00:04:49 You and I, I'll show that to you here in a minute. Housing bill. Everybody's like, this is great. This is a big bill. President is like time out. I know both of you guys want it. And this is a slam dunk. guess what? This is not going through unless you pass the voting bill.
Starting point is 00:05:02 So everybody's like, wait a minute, this is not good, this is not this, this is not that. We're going to see if he's got enough leverage to pull that off. And then we already talked about ample raising prices. Calci is apparently about to get a, you know, valuation of $40 billion. The entire market is reacting to it. There's a lot of people in politics that don't like Calci and they don't like polymarket, Tom. I know Tom wants to whistle sometimes, but they don't like calcium and they don't like
Starting point is 00:05:24 polymarket. And the reason why they don't like it is because they're saying the, polls. You were talking about this. The industry of politics. They want those polls. They don't want the public to come to have an alternative view. And why? Because people trust Calci and Polly more than they trust polls. And they don't want that because they want to use that manipulative card that they had for many years. And then I got one story, crazy story, maybe not the most exciting story, but it's a story I want to talk to you about, an organization that's been around since 1948, that they've been predicting forecasting what's going to happen to the market.
Starting point is 00:06:01 They've been accurate 94.7% of the time. Yes, they just made a prediction of what's going to happen in 2030s, and it's not good. We'll talk about it. I still believe the future looks private. Thanks for that, Pat. Start it off on the right note today. For sure. We're going to talk about the story.
Starting point is 00:06:16 And I saw this one interview with this fellow. Every time I see him, I forget what his name is. He's so good. He's interviewing the lady from Snap. And he says, can you tell me? me what Snap stands for. Okay? And he says,
Starting point is 00:06:28 Snap stands for what, Tom? It stands for... Supplemental, nutrition... Something. Consistence program. Yeah. And so he says, so what is nutritional
Starting point is 00:06:36 about Coke? And the lady had a five-second pause. Oh, she got a... Like, there was a glitch. Yeah. And then they go back and forth, and he says, who funds your program?
Starting point is 00:06:47 She didn't want to answer it. It says, who funds your program? She didn't want to answer it. Then he brings out and says, look, it's just, I don't know. He says, don't worry. I have the list. These are the people that funds your program.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Don't you think they would fund your program as long as you endorse their products being sold that is not good for our kids? And then I'll play the clip for you for you to react to them. We've got a couple other things we'll get into as well. So with that being said for those of you guys, this is going to be the biggest webinar we've ever held. We've held webinars on AI, on business, on economy, a lot of different things. The level of desire to be on this webinar on July 1st at 6 p.m., we've never seen anything like. like this before. And it's very exciting for me because it tells me people want to become better fathers and better parents. And there's so many things that we're going to be talking about on
Starting point is 00:07:36 how to raise great kids and the challenges of it that we all go through collectively together. I'm simply going to share with you what some of the mistakes I've personally made and what I've seen worked and what I've seen not work. And in 10 conversations that you need to have with your kids and then a number of books that you ought to read as a father. So if you want to be a part of that July 1st, 6 p.m. Go to vtwebinar.com, register for it. Again, vtwebinar.com. I was visiting somebody who messaged me. They're like, hey, I just want you know, it's a doctor. I just want you to know, we're all going to be on the webinar because we all want to be better parents. I'm like, that's great. The different range of people that are getting on this webinar is going to be exciting.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Again, July 1st, 6 p.m. go to vtwebinar.com to register forward. With that being said at 10 o'clock today in about an hour, about 30 minutes, a doctor from Venezuela that's working in the fields out there is going to tell us exactly what's going on in the streets, not what we're hearing from news telling us there's only 184, 185 dead less than 200. They're saying the number could be in the thousands with 54, 55,000 people missing. But we will do that story at 10 o'clock because she's going to be calling in and she'll be on the Zoom with us and she'll give us an update on what's going on over there. But with that being said, let's get right into it.
Starting point is 00:08:50 The first story I want to get into with everything that's going on, is the housing bill where the president said, I'm not passing this unless if. So here we go. Trump canceled signing of the bipartisan housing bill until the Save America Act is passed. And a market says you are out of your mind. Is this the clip, folks?
Starting point is 00:09:11 Go ahead and play the clip. Go for it. If it came to your desk, sir, would you veto it? About what? If the housing bill that you didn't sign today, if it came to a desk for a... I said, I'm not signing the housing bill.
Starting point is 00:09:20 I want to see what happens would say... Look, the housing bill is housing. I made billions of dollars with housing. I know housing better than anybody, maybe anywhere. It's all about the interest rate. Lower the interest rates. You can have all the
Starting point is 00:09:35 housing you want. But you have to understand, I don't want to hurt people that own houses, too. These people, for the first time in their lives, they have valuable houses. They become rich. I don't want to hurt them either. What you want to do is, what, good for everyone? Get the interest
Starting point is 00:09:51 rates down. We have this numskull that was the head of the Fed before, and he's a stupid person. And we call him too late because he was too late with the interest rates all the time. We need low interest rates. Low interest rates will solve everything. We'll solve that. Now, despite that, we're doing well with housing. But where we're really doing well is oil is plummeting.
Starting point is 00:10:16 By the way, is this going to get to the Saving Act or no? Affordability. We're doing... Guys in a back. Can you pause it? Is this going to get to the Saving Act or no, the SAVE Act? Because it has to do with interest rates. Yes or no? Send me a text on let me know, guys, because I wanted the SAVE Act clip to be played.
Starting point is 00:10:32 So the Save America Act will be make significant election on voting reforms, including requiring voting idea, polling places, and proof of citizenship before a person could register to vote. It has been rejected by Democrats. Trump has pushed Republicans into Senate to eliminate, modify the filibuster to get the bill through. major leader John Thune has maintained Republicans don't have the votes to do so. So the president doesn't want to pass this without the Save Act. Tom, is that a good move
Starting point is 00:11:03 by the president? Is he using the leverage to make sure the other thing gets passed? Yeah, he's trying to use leverage. And people are on all sides of the aisle on this. I'll tell you where I am. He's trying to put pressure on John Thune. And I'd like to see John Thune, rather than being this backdoor diplomat, I'd like to see John Thun, to the microphone and say, you know what, there are things this Senate and this Congress need to work on together.
Starting point is 00:11:27 A balanced budget amendment, line item veto, and eliminating the filibuster. These things are holding us up on helping the American people. Those three things are. We need to eliminate the filibuster. We can't vote on the Save Act here because the Democrats are filibustering, and I need 60 votes in the Senate. So I need people that want to step forward and do that. But the Dems don't want that.
Starting point is 00:11:51 The Dems are filibustering in the Senate, and you need 60 votes to bust the filibuster. So on one line, John Thune is correct. I don't have the votes. But on the other way, people are saying, well, then go to the microphone and tell the American people that it's time that we eliminate the filibuster so that we can't do it this way. Now then, but there's a lot of people in both chambers that want this Housing Act, because we're going into an election year, Pat, and they want their fingerprints, Democrats and Democrats and. Republicans want their fingerprints on the Housing Act. I voted in favor of it. I want to stop Black Rock from buying up all the homes. They all want to run out with those messages. You know what I mean, Pat? They want to go to the microphone during their election cycle and run with that. So here's the bet
Starting point is 00:12:36 Trump's making. There's a lot of people that want a lot of people want to go out there. Oh, they want to do that. They want that. They want to go say they voted on housing. But that's great. It's going to say right here on my desk and here's my pen. Oh, where have my pen go. I'm not signing anything. So that's what Trump's trying to do to put the pressure on them saying you've got to get the SAVE Act for it. Unfortunately, the Dems care more about voting and the populace the way they want it and are not going to vote for the SAVE Act. The Dems will allow the Housing Act to die, even though they could use it to get in their elections,
Starting point is 00:13:10 because they will never allow the SAVE Act because of all the reforms to patriotic voting in this country. So, by the way, at the end of that clip, I want to show you this. Today's housing conference and signing is hereby canceled until such time as we passed the desperately needed Save America Act. I agree, which I consider to be a national emergency. Thank you for your attention to this matter. This is a top three issue for me.
Starting point is 00:13:32 I agree. And it ought to be a top three issue for you as well. And it ought to be a top three issue for anybody that wants honest elections, including the Democrats. And by the way, do you know this is a 94% issue for Republicans? And do you know this is a 69% issue for Democrats? Do you know this is what everybody wants? The only people that don't want this is who.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Even Democrats can't say, well, it's unfair, it's racist, that that's BS. The majority of Democrat voters want this. The majority of Republican voters want this. Can you go to the end of that clip where the president talks about the Save America Act, please? If you can go to the end, go for it. Go ahead and play this clip. Go ahead. Okay, Adam, I'll come to you. I'll come to you. Yeah, I'm just going to keep it simple. Trump says that it's a national emergency and it supersedes everything else.
Starting point is 00:15:40 It's very rare in America where we have legitimate consensus. You just said 90 plus percent of Republicans are in favor of voter ID. You also said almost 70 plus percent of Democrats. That includes black, white, yellow, Puerto Rican, Haitian, everybody in the United States nation. Yeah. Every ethnicity, above 60. Exactly. Here's my question. Why don't they just put it up for a vote?
Starting point is 00:16:01 We all know that the Democrats are going to shut it down. What I would like to see, what I'd be interested in is what Republicans are actually going to get up there and say nay to the Save Act. Because correct me if I'm wrong, the Save Act is just simply one thing. Show voter ID when you turn out and vote. That's it. At the end of the day, proof you live here. So I don't understand what's going on with John Thune.
Starting point is 00:16:20 He seems like a capable guy. People in the Senate are lining up behind him. For me, the simple explanation is put it up for a vote. Even if you don't have the votes, let's see which Republicans are voting no on the SAVE Act. That's what I want to know. Benny. Wasn't it four? I think it was four, Mitch McConnell and three other people that voted against the Alaska and Maine, Murkowski.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Yeah. And this will be, this will be, and Tom did it so eloquently. I don't really need to add that much more. But just this is the tactic, Pam. By the way, multiple stories we're going to find out today. And it's not like they're hiding it either. Like Gavin Newsom that was on his podcast, he was talking about consolidating power, packing the courts. They are no, they want no voter ID.
Starting point is 00:17:02 I hope the people, even that you said 69% of Democrats, it should be over 90%. You want a free and fair election. This is the party that constantly talks about fascism and this and no kings. If you don't want no ID for people to vote in the country. And then when we complain about all the crime and all the stuff that they're doing, all the money, all the fraud, all the raping, all the killing, then we're the bad guys. It drives me crazy. I'm going to tell you this. I'm going to tell you this.
Starting point is 00:17:26 This is the part. You know how sometimes we jump into this camp of, we all do it. It's like it's all Muslims. It's all Democrats. It's all Republicans. It's all Jews. It's all this. It's never all.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Of course. You understand what I'm saying? It's not all. Trust me, there's plenty of Democrats that want a voter ID. They're Democrats because of pro-choice, let's just say. That's their thing. They're Democrats because. you know, their parents were Democrats and John F. Kennedy Democrats, so they're loyalties to their parents,
Starting point is 00:17:58 but they're reasonable Democrats that create jobs, have businesses. There are plenty of reasonable Muslims in America that have jobs that contribute to society. We have a few of them here that work with us. We love them. One of our guys is one of our managers, one of our leaders over here, love what he does, from Lebanon, great work. Karim, phenomenal work. We have good things that happen here, right? But here, you're seeing the reasonable Democrats are saying, why don't you want voter ID? Why not? Let's get it.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Let's get it and see how it votes. This is the reality of it. The one thing that's not one of our main stories, we want to know if there's any, you know, manipulation that's going on. The moment they moved out, USAID, USA, AID from South America elections, did you see what happened to it?
Starting point is 00:18:46 Have you seen the charts? So check this out. The moment last year, we moved it out, Can you pull the tweet to show where we were at in June of 2023? Check this out, Vinnie. The money's out. You can no longer buy candidates in South America to put in the liberals maybe that you support like Lula and some of these other guys. In June of 2023, I believe 10 of the leaders were Democrats.
Starting point is 00:19:13 If you can go to the tweet guys that it shows the kind of like how we did the last time with Bustamante, Sarah Adams. You had it to me yesterday, guys. Can you just go to it real quick so we can have that? So June of 23, then June of 2026. The plus minus is plus four Republican candidates won, minus four Democratic candidates were out, the socialist. You need funding. You need manipulation for socialist to win.
Starting point is 00:19:39 You need that. You need some kind of a help from somebody on the outset for that message to come out. So what does it tell you? Maybe the average person is more reasonable. maybe the average person is more understanding. Maybe the average person is more conservative with their finances and the way they live. Maybe the average person is just not a socialist. Maybe the average person is like, yeah, I'm not going with this.
Starting point is 00:20:04 I want to go with a different thing. So I don't know. It'll be interesting to see, you know, it'll be interesting to see what will happen here next. Guys, I don't know if you can pull it up or not. This is my third time asking for, can you guys do that or not or let me know in the messaging on what's going on here? I want the audience to see it. Either let me know we're having issues or just tell me what's going on because I want to go to the other chart that shows. No, not the chart guys.
Starting point is 00:20:26 On the tweet yesterday that we showed the plus minus and which countries were taken over by a different leader, you showed it yesterday that we were with Bustamante and Sarah Adams. If you can look for that and show it to us, that'd be great. At this point, I'm going to the next story. It's numbers, numbers, not pictures, guys. Yeah, you got to see this. That's why I wanted to be able to show it to see what's going on there. So we'll see.
Starting point is 00:20:47 We'll see what to happen. I like the fact that the president is still pushing for the voter ID. I love it. I will tell you if he gets that passed, it'll be a massive thing that they'll have that they're working on right there. Okay, beautiful. Anna Pauline Aluna, look at this. Look at the plus minus, Vinnie. Left wing was 10 in June, June 2023.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Now it's right wing was three. Now right wing is seven. Left wing is six. They dropped four plus minus. And on the list over here of the three, the countries that have. happen to, if you can show that one as well from end-wokeness, Latin America since USAID defunding. Cast, far-right wins in Chile. Paz, far-right wins in Bolivia. Fujimori, far-right wins in Peru. Noboa wins in Ecuador. Again, right. Asphura, wins in Honduras, right.
Starting point is 00:21:34 Fernandez, wins in Costa Rica, right. Why is this? Did they need the USAID number? Is that what they need it? Is that what was going on? Is that what's taking place? Again, this is why Democrats and Republicans want voter ID to see what the hell is going on. That's what we want. And let the best ideas win. By the way, New York City, Mamdani's three candidates win,
Starting point is 00:21:58 right? And if you see Mamdani's three candidates that won and what things they've said, one of the candidates that won said, Vinnie, what was the words on what she said? Is this Dar Lisa? wipe my, you know what, with the American flag. This person
Starting point is 00:22:13 hates America, period. So I forgot to get napkins, so I just wipe my hand on the American flag behind me. Folks, this is who won, okay? Just so you know, this is who won. The person that says I will wipe my hands with, what is the story that I have two of? I'm trying to see which one I got here. That's the real one. This is the person that said that, right?
Starting point is 00:22:39 Okay. So they win. On the view yesterday, they're having a conversation about what this, really means to the Democratic Party. Okay? What it really means to the Democratic Party? One of the ladies is trying to tell Joy Behar why this is such a bad thing and how it's going to hurt the Democratic Party. And actually, I don't know if you guys saw this clip or not. She breaks it down very eloquently.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Guys, I'm going to send you this clip if you can show it. Joy Behar is watching this girl. I don't know what her name is. It's the conservative one on the show. it's a conservative one on the show that tries to give the argument from the other side who is not a Trump fan herself, but she tries to give the logical argument on the conservative side. If you can play this clip, this is what Democrats are dealing with right now. She breaks it down in such a crystal clear way.
Starting point is 00:23:32 I want to give her credit on this clip here. If you guys got it, you can pull up to it. Vinny, I want you to watch this here. I don't know if you've seen this or not. Go for it. Go for it, guys. New Yorkers are not watching Fox constantly. And so they are, and they're not afraid of this.
Starting point is 00:23:44 term democratic socialism. If I fall down, I want an ambulance. If my house is on fire, bring your hose. You know what I mean? Okay. You just talked about these goods and services. You want the police to come. You want the fire department to come. Well, one of your new candidates, a Villa Chevalier, who won last night, wants to abolish the police in all prison. She was asked four times, how would you deal with somebody who committed murder then? What is your plan? And she dodged and didn't answer. She tweeted that Obama is evil. Biden is a rapist and a war criminal in bleep Kamala Harris. These were not people running on an affordability agenda. These were left-wing extremists that were elected last night at the expense of moderate Democrats.
Starting point is 00:24:24 So a seat that you guys do need to win if you want to take back the house. I don't like the way she sounds at all. Well, that's what I'm saying. Oh, you're doing. Oh, really? Wow. Wait a way to wake up. Guys. These candidates that were endorsed by DSA, the Democratic Socialists, were extreme candidates.
Starting point is 00:24:39 And I've seen this happen in my party where the extreme right wing takes over. You can't get your party back. I would warn you all, this is very dangerous, and it could risk you losing the half. Obviously, New York is in that one. Very, very well said. Tom, your thoughts on this with what's going on in New York City? Well, let me, okay, I have been diving into this, and there is a plan that's below the surface. In the same way that USAID was being directed to certain candidates that were on a liberalism,
Starting point is 00:25:08 socialism, you know, a plank that was being pushed by Soros and others, and USAID was doing that. There is a deeper story there. Now we can see as the people are able to vote. We see the truth. You see what I mean, Vinny, you see the truth. This is what's going on here. When they say defund the police and when they say these things, the region she's silent. You can see it in Dallas.
Starting point is 00:25:33 They don't want no courts. They don't want no police. they want the Sharia courts and they want Islamic rule that's what's coming guys what's going on Pat is they say we'll defund the police and they are trying to get certain groups to vote
Starting point is 00:25:48 on the premise of oh you being oppressed by the police they come out and George Floyd and all this they are trying to push that on the masses to get them behind the defund the police what's really coming here is not democratic socialism but it's one
Starting point is 00:26:05 layer deeper it's Sharia courts. It's what they set up in Dallas. There's a community in Dallas. We all read about it. They said, no, no, no, we will be self-ruling. What do you mean self-ruling? What if somebody robs? What if somebody rapes? What if somebody murders? Oh, no, no, we'll have our own courts. That's what's coming. They want their own courts. It's happening in small pockets of Minneapolis where people in a neighborhood voluntarily solve everything through the Sharia courts with their mosque. That's what's coming, guys. That's what's behind this. And even the liberals on the view are now saying, well, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, what about this, this and this?
Starting point is 00:26:41 You have voted for the virus that's going to infect everybody. The Democrats that are followed on these candidates are useful idiots for the wave that's coming. Adam. I think the Babylon B said it best. I don't know if we can pull that up, Connor, but they said Al-Qaeda wins New York primary. And that was the title of their headline. Exactly. And that's basically what's going on right now.
Starting point is 00:27:06 is that if the KKK took over the right side of politics in this country, we would all be freaking out. In my opinion, the far left, they've replaced the progressives, they certainly replaced the liberals, the Democratic Socialists, America, what's the difference between them and communists? Here you go, Al-Qaeda wins New York primary. We should be way more at arms of what's going on here with this thing. And there's a lot of people say, listen, I don't pay attention to politics.
Starting point is 00:27:38 It's not my thing. Well, here's the thing you're going to realize. Politics is going to pay attention to you. And at some point, they're going to come for you. So in my opinion, this is the number one story in America. Save Act is a part of that. But it's the communist Islamist takeover of America and who's going to control America's future?
Starting point is 00:27:55 And at the end of the day, it's MAGA versus DSA. Because, by the way, they polled Democrats and they said, how do you feel about Democrats in Congress? You know the approval rating? plus four. They said, how do you feel about Democrat Socialists of America? DSA? Plus 17. They're running circles around the Democratic Establishment Party. The Nancy Pelosi's, the Chuck Schumers, the
Starting point is 00:28:17 Hakeem Jeffries, they're fossils, their dinosaurs, and they're being taken over and hijacked by communists. And it's sad to see. And hopefully we do something about it in this country. Yeah, this is this, yeah, this is one of the candidates that won. Can you play this clip? I'm glad you guys found this one. Go for it. And finding that, like, you know, the system of capital and racism and white supremacy, et cetera, have all, and Islamophobia have all been used, you know, to colonized lands, right?
Starting point is 00:28:46 You see it in London, it's happening here. And so this is like a long trajectory. In New York City. And we're just seeing manifestations of that continuation. This is where? Right? With 9-11. This is New York.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Listen, listen, 9-11. A lot of times when people are asking us to respond about, you know, attack, right? When, if you look back, like, historically, right, you know, a lot of us come from lands that were colonized, lands where wars were being waged, right? A lot of times because of U.S. policy or the policies in Europe. And so I find that we can connect over that, but then also that the idea that we have to apologize for, like, a terror attack that, like, a couple people did.
Starting point is 00:29:22 And then there is no apologies or reparations for genocide and for slavery, et cetera. You can pause it right there. She won. And by the way, Hunter Biden. I don't know if you guys are watching Hunter Biden or not. He's a social media sensation right now on Twitter. Okay. If there's somebody you wanted a party with when you were younger,
Starting point is 00:29:40 Hunter Biden was probably the guy you wanted to party with. A lot of different party you would go to than J.D. Vance, if that's how you define success, right? But Hunter Biden has been saying some stuff, and he's sharing some thoughts with Democrats. Hunter Biden wants Democrats to learn extreme lessons from New York City elections. He's not running for office. But if I were, there are some of the lessons that take away
Starting point is 00:30:01 from what happened in New York yesterday. Authenticity is measurable. voters can smell a focus group from a mile away. Endorsements from the current Democratic leadership now read-like warnings. The establishment wing of the party is no longer a sort. It's a question mark. Conviction beats caution. The candidates who said hard things about rent, about who pays for what, about Gaza, they won.
Starting point is 00:30:24 The triangulators lost. Cost of living is everything. Everything else is wallpaper. Five. The middle is not a strategy. It's an empty room. Voters reached past the establishment. to grab someone who actually believe something.
Starting point is 00:30:38 Yeah, communism. Don't fear the base. Court it. The Democrats who ran from their voters lost. The ones who ran toward them, one. Seven, if you want to lead a party, you have to be willing to fight inside it. Momdani didn't ask permission.
Starting point is 00:30:52 He took the field. The lesson under the lesson. The country is tired of being managed. The people want to be led. Now, agree or disagree. He's talking campaign. Political comes out with an article on this side, saying democratic socialists are coming for 2028.
Starting point is 00:31:10 DSA National Co-Chair, Megan Romer, says what DSA represents is a real contrast to Democrats who have run the last couple of elections on fear. You can't run on that. You have to offer an alternative. And it's really important that we be involved, that we be involved. I want to make sure I say the proper English that she used. In that conversation in 2028, it's important that we have somebody saying sensible things. New York victory fuels momentum.
Starting point is 00:31:35 The planning follows a major political victory in New York. Mamdani's endorse candidates, Claire Valdez, Bradlander, and Dariliza Avila Chevalier, all won competitive Democratic primaries. Mondani declared before the election, they ask, who do you want to run in 2028? Then they ask, when does the race for 2020 to begin? It starts now. It starts on Tuesday. AOC remains the big question. representative aOC remains the most prominent potential presidential candidate within the movement however
Starting point is 00:32:07 romer says she would have no automatic endorsement she will have to sell her campaign and why dsa should throw down behind it we don't do kingmakers if it reveals that every chapter is like we want aOC we want a oc there you go that's where they're at adam i mean if you love america and you love the flag and you're a patriot this should scare the hell out of you because not only is it is it is it is it here. It's common for you. And it's coming to all the cities around you. By the way, have you seen what the DSA platform is? So it's a lot of rhetoric, a lot of words. Have you actually seen what the platform is? Connor, I text that to you. Let me just give you the platform. It's entitled, Workers deserve more, and I'll bowl it down to five points. Number one, they want to basically change the
Starting point is 00:32:47 Constitution and change the balance of power from our checks and balances system to a parliamentary system. Okay, so the number one, they want to change the Constitution. That should shock and alarm you. Number two, of course, like all good communists do, they want to seize the means of production. This is essentially their platform right here. I'll just summarize it for you. Of course, they want to basically expand the role of government and seize the means of production.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Number three, of course, open borders, open borders, reduce immigration enforcement, abolish ICE, we've seen this. Number four, they basically said no prisons, even for violent criminals, zero prisons, abolish the police, defund the police. We've seen that. And the crew to growl, we all know this, mandatory to be a part of the DSA,
Starting point is 00:33:28 you must hate Israel. and you must very much dislike the Jews, and even more so, you must adapt a pro-Palestine-Gaza-first ideology. That is the DSA in a nutshell. So if that's you, vote for these people. My assumption is Americans are smarter than that, and they will basically root this from its stem. All right, so we'll see.
Starting point is 00:33:51 We'll see what I happen, but guess what? I kept telling you guys, I've been saying this for two years, and everybody messes me, out of your mind. there will be a socialist candidate for 2028. And they have a shot. They really have a shot. If they continue, keep talking about affordability, and the other side doesn't talk about affordability,
Starting point is 00:34:13 and they beat around the bush on how great the market is doing, but not affordability, they're going to have a very real shot, especially if prices increase and you feel what happens in their personal life. So we'll see. We'll see what happened there. Let's go to the next story. The next story I want to get into is the story of the story of this. pastor. Very interesting story. Very brief. We'll go into it and I'll get into the next story.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Here's a pastor, okay? I think it's page 19, if I'm not mistaken. Here's a pastor, okay? This is, Vinny, you want to tell us what's going on over here? Pastor Tony Spell, he, he, he, so pastor, it says a man threatened, this guy that that's coming, the kid in the shorts and the phone in his hand, threatened to rape the pastor's wife, rape his grandchildren and kill his family the next time he left town. And according to the pastor, the man then looked at him and said, what are you going to do about it? So Spell physically confronts him and he was
Starting point is 00:35:03 arrested for second degree of battery charge. So this is the video. So the pastor's pulling up to him. Yep. Yep. Look, look, talking. I want to rape. I want to do this. Talking all that, Ness takes off it. So he wants it back. He swings first. Okay. Which one's the pastime? Passers in the button down shirt.
Starting point is 00:35:22 Okay. Then why, Adam? UFC. Oh, wow. It's Nolan Ryan and Robin Ventura. Yeah, yeah. Yep, that's what you, like, you want the smoke and you've got the smoke. Wow, he's out. Yeah, there you go. Was that a phone?
Starting point is 00:35:39 Yeah, that was his phone. Like, you want it, you got, dude. And Vinny, summarize what's going on why they fighting about this? So, he just did. So the guy there, look, oh, my God, what's he about doing here? The guy there said, I'm going to rape your wife and rape your grandkids. And what are you going to do about it? And then, Pat, ready for this?
Starting point is 00:35:55 The church says this wasn't random. They claim the pastor's spell and his congregation had been targeted for the past six years by the family across the street. This guy lives, Pat, this guy lives across from the church. And after getting out of jail, you wanted the best part, Pat,
Starting point is 00:36:09 I don't know if they got to have that video. He preached that he had fulfilled prophecy and he said that he laid his hands on the sick. That is insane. Is there the interview? Do we have the interview? Is this here? There's an actual interview.
Starting point is 00:36:26 I had a dude. Louisiana pastor says he beat neighbor for threatening to rape his wife and his children, grandchildren. And the Louisiana pastor went to up 46 years old, the Spillman related video. He said, Tony, I'm going to rape your wife. I'm going to rape all your grandchildren. Next time you see you get out of town, I'm going to kill them. Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Spell said he believed he had a responsibility act. I have a duty and obligation to do what I did. The pastor told reporters he could not allow someone to threaten his family and said he was acting as a husband and a father and a pastor. The neighboring family Sherwin's disputed Spell's account. and told they do not believe their son made the threats described by the pastor. Video footage obtained show spell crossing Hooper Road and confronting the young man before the fight broke out.
Starting point is 00:37:09 Louisiana pastor beat up a man allegedly threatened to, okay, and according to arrest, that's pretty wild when you hear a story like this. Yes, and there's a... In my name, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. So today I fulfilled the scripture, I lay the hands on the sick. Good for you. Didn't somebody else as a neighbor say that these guys were doing that? Yeah, so Pat, there was a, there was a, it's on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:37:31 There's a lady of the congregation, a black lady sitting in her car with their child saying that they've been hurling racial slurs and anybody that goes to this church, Pat. And here's the thing. People think because this is a pastor, you're supposed to just, you know, stand there and take it. That's not Christianity. Okay, you're still a husband. You're a father. You're a grandfather. Protecting your family isn't a sin.
Starting point is 00:37:51 And the Bible, yes, because I know people are going to say something in the chat about forgiveness. and turning the under cheek when you're personally wrong. But it does not teach you to stand by while someone threatens your family. Jesus said in Luke 2236, if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. Evil is real, Pat. And protecting the innocent people is part of your responsibility. And one Timothy 5A also makes it clear that a man has a duty to care for his household. Okay, you don't go looking for a fight, but when someone brings it and threatens your life
Starting point is 00:38:22 and your grandchildren to rape you and murder your whole family, guess what? You don't roll over, you stand up, or you protect your family. And he's also, after he got out of jail two hours later, he was standing in front of the thing and saying, what am I supposed to do? What am I supposed to do? For six years, Adam, they're across the street. This is a neighbor from the congregation saying, we're going to kill and rape, and what are you going to do?
Starting point is 00:38:40 Sit there and be like, okay, yeah, keep saying it. It sounds like a case of F-A-F-O than I've ever seen. And that's what happened. Tom, how do you process this? You're good with this? I'll tell you how I process this. In 1976, we celebrated the 200 anniversary of America. In 1976, what do you think that the neighbors and
Starting point is 00:38:55 everyone would have said about this. What do you think the cop would have say if he called the police? The cop would have said, you told him you were going to kill his family, you're going to rape him, and he walked across the street and he whooped your ass. Son, why are you saying these things? The cop wouldn't be right. Now we go, oh, what happened to this poor boy? Oh, it's freedom of speech. That's not freedom of speech. That's horrifying. That's horrifying. We have fallen far as a country. And the real tragedy is that somebody that said to the police, I don't think our boy said that. Wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:39:26 Who raised that boy? You don't get to say he doesn't do it. You'll have your day. You can say whatever you want. You can give him an alibi because that's not an alibi. My boy wouldn't do that. Really? We got film that says he did.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Every once in a while. Where were you? Every once in a while, I love to hear stories like this. For the market to know, just if you screw around with the wrong person, things like this could happen to you. I actually love stories like this every once in a while. wherever the pastor is, hey, kudos to you. Any kid or a wife would love to have a father like you and a husband like you that protects its own,
Starting point is 00:40:02 I respect the hell out of it. You didn't need cops to do it. You protected your own. All right, let's get to the next story. We have a special guest here with us before I introduce her to you. Let me first share with you stories that came out about Venezuela, what was happening over there with the earthquake, 7.4 earthquake, and a 7.6 earthquake that hit yesterday, powerful earthquakes, near Caracas. This report here says at least 164 have died as rescue efforts underway,
Starting point is 00:40:32 but the reports I'm getting from people on the streets is there's 55, nearly 60,000 people missing, and no one really knows what's going on. So when you look at the story here, twin earthquakes, back to back, rocked Venezuela last night, killing nearly 200, and injuring at least 1520, Venezuela National Assembly President George Rodriguez said this afternoon, those tolls are set to rise again the extensive damage across South American countries. Aid pledges with frantic rescue efforts underway, pledges of aid poured in from around the world. Marco Rubio even commented on this. The U.S. said it was immediately deploying search and rescue teams, medical resources,
Starting point is 00:41:15 and humanitarian assistance. That's Marco Rubio. U.S. response will be big. It will be fast. It would be effective. And the state of emergency acting president, Delci Rodriguez, declared a state of emergency announced. Here's a couple of videos for you to watch.
Starting point is 00:41:28 This is the airport. This is what it looked like at the airport. I've been through an earthquake before, the big one in Northridge. Let me tell you, it is extremely scary when you're going through it. This is the airport? Zoom, that shot. Wow.
Starting point is 00:41:43 You think it's the end of the world. You literally think it's the end of the world. And the dust you see, that's the concrete rubbing against each other in the roof and the pillars, that's what's going on there. Jeez. Oh, my goodness. 45 seconds. This is one.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Do you have a couple other ones with properties shaking? This is just the airport. And by the way, the airport's at least built on a decent structure where you don't see it coming down. There's some, like, watch this one here. Spotify, it's Jay Shetty. Are you one of those media strategy people? scrolling through spreadsheets, searching for an audience that pays twice as much attention to your ads than they do on social, let me introduce you to fans.
Starting point is 00:42:29 And they're here with me on Spotify. Trust me, I know fans. They don't skip, they stay for hours. They don't move on, they manifest. They're not a demographic group, they're fans. Spotify advertising. You're among fans. That's exactly what happened, the Northridge Department.
Starting point is 00:42:50 right next to Cal State Northridge. Is the garage that's underneath collapse? Never dropped. That never drops a cigarette, though. Like, shout out to whatever brand that is, cigarette. Look at this. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:43:06 So let's pause there. Devastating going through this. Our guest today's Anda Padilla, Dr. Dare, herself. Anna, can you hear us? Hi. Yes. Yes, I can hear you. Thank you so much for having me today.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Thanks for joining us. And we appreciated that, you know, Tim Ryan made this happen, made the introduction. So we're out here. All we see is clips. All we read as stories. We're not there. What can you tell us of what's going on right now in Venezuela?
Starting point is 00:43:33 Well, right now, first of all, I just want to let everyone know that, you know, Venezuela is heartbroken at the moment. The devastation and the laws is incomprehensible, first of all, and it's a big tragedy. We've got people trapped under buildings. The rescue teams have not even reached them yet. I mean, it's deeply personal. and I know everyone is seeing in the news,
Starting point is 00:43:55 but they're not feeling how we feel. And it's not just numbers on the screen for us. We've had dear friends, personal friends from university that were trapped under their buildings waiting for rescue and they were holding on for their lives until they just couldn't anymore. I'm sorry. And, you know, it's deeply personal for us.
Starting point is 00:44:17 The truth is we were not prepared for this. the country's not for this type of stuff so that's why I'm deeply grateful to be here today to spread awareness and to let everyone know and to let our American brothers know that we do need help. It's a fact
Starting point is 00:44:34 we need help. People are being crushed by buildings. They're waiting for everyone to come in and help and we need a lot of supplies. I'm here at the donation center at the moment. I don't know if you can see around me. Yep, we see it. We're gathering clothes. We're gathering
Starting point is 00:44:49 surgical materials, we're gathering medicine, and, you know, people have lost everything. People are losing everything at the moment. They're living in the streets. They're out in the cold. They have not eating for 24 hours. And, you know, it's a big devastation. I know it's not what you see maybe in the news, but here inside, people are suffering. And I just want to let everyone know out there that if you can extend your hand to help us out, It is deeply appreciated. We've got a bunch of friends, a bunch of my friends are also setting up GoFundMe's. There's foundations that are trying to help.
Starting point is 00:45:28 And I know all of the countries are helping. But the crucial thing is it needs to be faster. You know, I had a couple of friends going down to La Guaira, which was the most affected, the state most affected. And they said they could hear people scream under the buildings, but there were no protection or rescue teams there yet. So it's mostly civilians trying to do whatever they can to take out the pieces of the building and bring people out. And, you know, we need all the resources we can.
Starting point is 00:45:59 Our resources inside are running out. You know, I work here with the hospitals and a bunch of my friends are also in hospitals. They're saying the resources are running out. They're asking for donations. And I know it's not what we can see out there in the news, but this is the reality. And let me ask you what did it feel like? Walk us through what happened, you know, when it happened, both of them. What did it feel like?
Starting point is 00:46:22 How long did it last? How wide is the impact in the States? Well, where I lived, it wasn't as intense as it was for other people. I was at my house. And it felt like the longest seven or ten seconds of my life. The building was shaking intensely. The lights were giving off. My mom was also at the supermarket.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Lights were given off. Everything was shaking. And after everything happened, where you get to calm down, you start seeing the videos. Videos of buildings going down, building videos of people, you know, under the buildings. And nobody expected this. Our last earthquake was probably more than 50 years ago. Oh, wow. And as you may know, and it is not a secret, here we were not prepared for this.
Starting point is 00:47:14 And as soon as it came, everybody was in shock. And then the devastation and the lost came after. Buildings were going down. And you started searching for your loved ones. That was the worst part. Searching for your coworkers, for your friends, for your family, trying to reach them. And it was, we were all desperate to hear of our loved ones. They were okay and our friends.
Starting point is 00:47:39 So it was the longest seven seconds, seven to ten seconds. That's how long it lasted. And that is how long it took for everything. thing to crumble down for people to start losing their lives, especially in La Guaida. I want to bring awareness to La Waiira because it was a state where almost, I think, even more than what it's been said, around, you know, 100 buildings came down. I have friends there. I have friends that thankfully were rescued under their building yesterday, and they're currently at the hospitals, but some of them lost their lives. And they were very young.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Mostly is young people losing their lives. They were in those buildings. I had a friend. yesterday that sadly passed away. We were trying to get him to, we're trying to get him a rescue team, but it was not possible because everything is moving slow. And that's why I want to let everyone know everything here moves slow.
Starting point is 00:48:32 The rescue teams are slow. The capacities are surpassed. And that's why we need all the help we can get inside Venezuela, because it's been very difficult for us. And we're trying to manage as quickly as we can. It's mostly civilians out there trying to make a difference. And by the way, what I'm hearing, I'm so sorry to you guys are going through it.
Starting point is 00:48:54 It's tragic to hear stories like this. The latest update, I just read a story that was 188. The latest update from a few minutes ago right now is death toll officially hits 589. It's what the death toll is, 2980 injured and 55, 60,000 people missing. Does that sound about right to you? Are people every minute they're hearing new stories of tragedy, of losing, and friends and family. Yes.
Starting point is 00:49:19 Well, that is definitely not what you hear out here, Pat, especially because it is as simple as they have not reached the most affected areas. It is not possible to be known how many people have passed because they haven't even gotten to them yet. And that's what I'm saying. They haven't got into any places that were the most affected. They're still people. And this is stories from people that have done.
Starting point is 00:49:46 gone to the place's most affected civilians, they hear people screaming under the buildings. And I mean, it's been around almost 72 hours. Nobody can last inside a building like that under Rumble that's very heavy. And to me, it seems that, you know, if it is confirmed in the international news, the number is most likely to increase about a thousand people because it is, is the devastation here and the loss is incredibly big. Well, Anna, thank you so much for joining us here to give us an update. And, you know, we, anytime things like this happen typically helps communities get closer together, and especially when you're relying on others to just help out.
Starting point is 00:50:29 And I see that happening with you. And we're going to do our part as well. Do any one of you guys have, Adam, you have a question? Yeah, I just has a quick question. Anna, major respect to you. We're here in South Florida. I'm from Miami. I think Miami has the largest concentration of Venezuelans outside of Latin America.
Starting point is 00:50:44 so I know that the people of Miami are going to be helping and sending as much aid as we can. Here's my question. We just had a discussion not to make this political whatsoever. I want to understand the infrastructure because we just had a conversation here about the DSA and they're taking over America. What has the socialist agenda done in Venezuela
Starting point is 00:51:03 to basically not pay attention to the economy which leads to poor infrastructure, which leads to poorly maintained buildings, which when something like this happens, the roads, the electric grids, the waters, all basically succumb to the issues. So what could you say about basically what socialism has done to your country? Well, in that regards, what I can mostly say is that, you know,
Starting point is 00:51:27 all of this damage that this has done is basically being reflected in the maintenance of everything, and maintenance of buildings, of this basic services, water, electricity, that has all been affected. We actually, I don't, I can't say anything specific about, why this has happened, you know, because political implications and everything, but I can assure you that inside Venezuela, there is a lack of attention in the well-being of the population, basically. So, Anna, this is Anna, Vincent, sorry to cut you off.
Starting point is 00:51:59 My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family, everybody that's affected. Thank you. Thank you. And right now, as an American, what is the best way for someone to be able to help? We're going to do it. We're going to do it right now. I'm going to announce something right now. While we're doing this, I've been working on something.
Starting point is 00:52:11 So we'll keep you posted. Anna, stay close to us because I'm about to announce something here that the audience needs to hear. We have this shirt that we just produced right now that says pray for Venezuela, black and white. And on the back it says future looks bright. You always need to be optimistic about the future. A hundred percent of anything we sell on merch today on our website, we will be sending it to families that were directly impacted by this financially. Anna, please stay close to us. We will be following up with you later on today, if not tomorrow, to make sure we get the
Starting point is 00:52:42 money directly to families, and depending on what different GoFundMe's are or different things that we have in place, we want to support these families. It's devastating that something like this is going on, and I want to thank Tim Ryan that Manacted us. He's one of the biggest menactors out there, and this is one of the ways that we're able to contribute and help other people out. Anna, thank you so much for your time. We appreciate you.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Our prayers are with you. Thank you so much for this visibility. Thank you so much. Thank you. Take care. Bye-bye. Folks, every once in a while, when stuff like this happens, you know, we're not directly impacted about if it's on your heart to want to help out these families.
Starting point is 00:53:18 Last time when the fires happened in L.A., Vinnie, you were with me when we raised, I don't know what it was, we raised $100,000. Over $100,000. Over $100,000. We called 20-plus families one by one by one, and we sent each of them $5,000, and none of them would believe it when we would make these calls. None of them. They're like, this is not real.
Starting point is 00:53:40 I said, hey, can you call Johnny? He told us about you. They called Johnny, no, this is real. Wait, they're going to send me $5,000, and they were all crying, emotional. So if you have family, you, if you have family yourself that's going through it, depending on how much money we raise here, we're going to spend 100% of them. We're going to send it to the families in Venezuela. If you go to vtmerge.com, if you want to support that, sure, pray for Venezuela.
Starting point is 00:54:01 This is not going to go away anytime soon, whether you want to buy a white or a black one yourself. And at the same time, anything else that we sell today on vtmerge.com, 100% of all sales today on VTmerch.com will go to Venezuela, 100% of whatever we sell on VTmerch.com, not the profits, the gross. So if you buy something $100, the profit is whatever, it's not the profit that's going to go. It's the $100 that's going to go to families in Venezuela. Collectively, this is our opportunity to positively impact some of these families in Venezuela. Can you press the clip of that one video of that building that just went down, the big building?
Starting point is 00:54:40 I want you to see this, folks, because we didn't really see all of it. Watch this. Go to the, not this one. You just, it was just in, well, play this one if you want. This is what it looks like right now. And listen, Pat, you're going to hear people. Someone stuck in the body? Listen, listen.
Starting point is 00:54:57 Oh, my God. What's your name? My friend. Anthony. How are you supposed to? The other guy. Ari? Yes.
Starting point is 00:55:12 Oh my God, my heart. I couldn't, I couldn't. Watch, watch more. She's all in there. Senora, I said you, so that you'll hear you. Senora, Sniara,
Starting point is 00:55:27 Saneura Nice shot. He heard her earlier and God knows if she's still... Connor, I send you one of the... of an entire apartment comp, like a high-rise for the... know, 20, 30 stories literally just collapsing. I sent it.
Starting point is 00:55:48 I texted and I slacked it. I mean, this is, it's in the group text. Yeah. It's devastating when you see it. Yeah, watch this one here. Look at that. Look at that, bro. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:55:59 Oh, my God. It's not AI. No. Check out comments. Bro. Yeah. Listen. Devastating, to say the least.
Starting point is 00:56:11 Some of my favorite people I worked in. in our insurance company, they were Venezuelans. They remember when we would go have dinner together and the stories, a lot of great stories. Some of the best people come out of Venezuela, man. I can't even describe it to you. Now, when I went to the game, Venezuela, Honduras, I don't know who was Dominican against Venezuela,
Starting point is 00:56:30 the culture, the people, how loud, how much fun, how much they love their country. So if you want to support, again, any purchases that we make next 24 hours on VTemerge.com will go to families. And if you're somebody that families impacted by, get a hold of us. Get a hold of one of us on the next message us.
Starting point is 00:56:47 Let us know about the story. We'd love to find a way to support these guys directly. Okay, with that being said, let's go to the next story. Next thing I want to get to is we can go to, let's go to this one. Yeah, let's go to the story here. This next one I want to go to is story of Snap. Yesterday, in a hearing, the folks that are running Snap are being interviewed by this fellow. his name, by the way. Oh, that's Brandon Gill.
Starting point is 00:57:15 First of all, he's phenomenal at what he does. I just want you to watch this. Snap. Again, Tom, Snap stands for Supplemental nutrition assistance program. Okay. So, Snap Chat. Right. Food stamps on an EBT card.
Starting point is 00:57:31 That's right. And he's asking one of the leaders on what it is. And look at the response. Go forward. Stand for. What does Snap stand for? Is it a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. What's nutritional about Coca-Cola?
Starting point is 00:57:47 Look at her face. I am not a nutritionist. I am a food security expert in ensuring that individuals have the food resources that they need. This is a common sense question. All of these have been common sense questions. I'm just asking you, is there nutritional value to sugary sodas? It's a yes or no question. I am not an expert. I would have to look at the dietary. You're not an expert.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Can you imagine giving an answer to what does snap stand for? Okay, now watch this other clip. Because he continues. He's got five minutes. He's not done with her. Watch this next one here. This next one is difficult to listen to, but you'll enjoy it. ...funded by organizations that make money from food stamps. In Toronto, every arrival is a statement, and nothing says it better than this. Cadillac Optic was the number one selling luxury EV in Canada for 2025. Luxury sales claim based on S&P Global Mobility Canadian New Vehicle Total Registrations for calendar year 2025 for the Cadillac definition of luxury. This spring, denim gets a softer, lighter update. Introducing Old Navy's drapey denim wide leg, a new fit that moves with you. It's everything you want denim to feel like for summer. easy, breathable, and effortlessly cool. With a fit that creates natural movement and a wide leg that feels modern, not overwhelming.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Plus, that signature, wait, for this price, moment. Old Navy's drapey denim wide leg. Do organizations who profit off of food stamps fund your organization or businesses? I mean, I can't comment to that. I'm happy to talk about the research that needed. General Mills fund your organization? I don't have access to that information. I do.
Starting point is 00:59:56 It's right here. They do fund your organization. Do they profit off of food stamps? Retailers are the major beneficiary. You think that that's a conflict of interest? That's where EBT dollars are utilized. Yes, and they're profiting off of your advocacy. Do you think that that's a conflict of interest?
Starting point is 01:00:17 He's so good. common sense. I think most people think that's a conflict of interest. I know you don't want to answer. Is your organization... What do you think about that, Tom? What do you think about that? These are fair questions he's asking.
Starting point is 01:00:31 Is there anything wrong with them promoting certain companies that are funding your program? Is there a conflict of interest there, in your opinion? In my opinion, I believe there is a conflict. And I'll tell you where it is. Snap was created to help fill the gap for children and people. who maybe have a job but literally are living below poverty line of income. And Snap was supposed to help them bridge, bridge, okay, and fill the gap. And the natural thing is whenever the government says, I need an airplane, five companies put out the bids, they want to build the airplane.
Starting point is 01:01:13 If the government says, I have a food program to get food to people, 50 companies want to go get food to people. 50 companies want to go get food to people. Now, General Mills may make some, you know, things that would be on RFK's updated food pyramid that would qualify as nutritional foods. But there's also other things in there. Everybody wants to be on the list, Pat. If you're selling soda, you're selling granola bars
Starting point is 01:01:38 that are just loaded with sugar, you want to be eligible for people to buy that. And then they hide behind the following, Pat. It's the consumer's choice. No, it's not. If I'm giving SNAP, I want kids to get fruit. I want them to get things that I want to take sugar off there. I want them to get milk.
Starting point is 01:01:57 I want to get wholesome cheese. I want to get things that are, I want to get breads. I want to get it, and you could argue about the sugar and breads and everything. But point is, I want to go to the food triangle and see, can we get fruits and vegetables and things? Because that's what the purpose of SNAP is. And if you're, I think there is a conflict. And that's why she was sitting there, Pat. There is.
Starting point is 01:02:19 And that's why she can't answer the question. Because the lobbyists that are supporting her, you know what we just saw here, Pat? I just had an epiphany. We just saw hospices in L.A. And we saw the cycle of government money intended for good gets used this way. Now, that's pure theft and fraud. But this is, she's got an advocacy group that's putting a SNAP program out that's putting junk food out there. and we wonder why kids are overweight.
Starting point is 01:02:47 We wonder why there's childhood diabetes. And she can't answer the question because those are her supporters. Adam. Look, have you ever been on SNAP or government assistance or food stamps? Yeah. You've been on it? Yes. Why were you on it?
Starting point is 01:02:59 What do you mean? Why was on? We were on it. Gotcha. Your family was on. Yeah, of course. When I was a kid, I was a food stamp kid. Really?
Starting point is 01:03:07 Yes. So you understand the importance of it, right? Of course, we're not taking advantage of it. No, exactly. That's my point is I remember being on my first job out of college. college. I worked there for a year and a half. And they let people go and I basically collected unemployment and food stamps. And let me just walk you through. You had food stamps as an adult? I had food stamps at 22 years old. By the way, joking. No, I'm not joking. Food stamps at 12 years old.
Starting point is 01:03:30 What are you doing at 22 years old? This is my point. Okay, go ahead. Let's see. Is that when you, when you're laid off, you know, you collect unemployment. Keep in mind, it's been 20-something years since I've even considered this. But let me walk it through the mindset of what happens. When the government gives you something, you're like, oh, wow, I get paid to do nothing for basically six months. Amazing. Oh, let me, I get food stamps. Oh, good. Let me, let me get this. Cool. And then all of a sudden, you have this like, sort of like angel and devil on your shoulder. It's like, should I go out and get a real job and actually get my life together? Or should I just basically suck off the team to government for as long as possible? And here's
Starting point is 01:04:05 what happens. The average person goes, I'll just take the free stuff. I'll take this as long as I can. Then the average person in America, I think, is that are on snap for eight to 12 months. You know how many, what percent of of Americans use SNAP, 1 and 8 Americans, 42 million Americans use SNAP. Okay, that's 12% of the population. Here's my point. It feels so good. It feels something like, all right, let me do this because it's just, it's free money, it's free food. And I understand that people need it. But the more that you give people, the more that you give welfare, the more that you give welfare checks, you know, like the welfare queen situation, they become dependent on it. And that's the problem in America. If you need it, if you use it for a little while,
Starting point is 01:04:45 I get it. But we have to stop, we have to eliminate how long people are on it. Some people become relying on it and they become relying on the government. This is two different conversations, though. You took a very different angle. I think what was the main angle with this is why are allowing the money that taxpayers are paying to buy the product of the organizations that are funding you? That doesn't make any sense on what's happening over here. And by the way, do you know when they look at the life expectancy of Americans versus other countries. You know what we rank? We're not looking good against others.
Starting point is 01:05:21 You know Hong Kong, they live 85.8 years. Japan is 84.9. Switzerland is 84.4. Australia is 84.1. And a bunch of different countries are ahead of us. You know where we are? 78.4 on some charts. Some 79.
Starting point is 01:05:35 Italy's 84. Spain's 84. Canada's 83. UK's 82. Germany's 81. You know, a bunch of these countries. Monaco's highest at 89 years old, by the way. Small little place.
Starting point is 01:05:47 Didn't we just go down a year or something? We did. We did go down here. But why are we going down? People were like, because your health insurance sucks. Nope, it's not the health insurance that sucks. The food we're feeding our kids sucks. We're feeding our kids a bunch of sugar from early on and we're getting them addicted to sugar. Sugar is just as addictive as any of these major drugs. And for the rest of your life, you're fighting what? What does sugar lead to? Diabetes.
Starting point is 01:06:11 So what do you mean, you know, your, you can't. give a basic answer that coke is nutritionally, you know, good for you or bad for you. You know, it's funny like July of 2019 is the last time I drank soda. No Coke zero. I used to drink three Coke zeros a day. Boom. One day, Ian Benedict and I having a conversation, gone. I just, this summer we were at Hamptons. We're playing Padell. Tikran and I have a conversation. Tekron leaves. Tekron's lost 45 pounds. Tekron looks like a model. Really? Europe. He looks like a European model. I can't wait to see him. You want to even recognize. Armenian Flavio.
Starting point is 01:06:44 He looks ridiculous. I'm going to transition. He eliminated a lot of his, you know, sugar out of his day. He doesn't even drink Arnold Palmer, which to me it's a sin. He doesn't drink Arnold Palmer. Yeah, that's horrible. I'm not talking to him about that. Yeah, that's a, but he's like, no, Pat, nothing.
Starting point is 01:06:56 And you should see what he eats. You should see how intentional he is. He's got the scale with the body fat percentage. But also it starts with kids. We think it's funny. My kid likes candy. I don't think it's funny. We think it's funny.
Starting point is 01:07:10 Oh, she's got a sweet tooth. What did it? Because white people say sweet tooth. She's got a sweet tooth. She's got a this. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you gave them the sweet tooth. Yeah. By introducing them to this stuff and making it like it's, so I think the bigger concern here is with kids starting early with diet.
Starting point is 01:07:27 And I think that's what he was talking to her about. And so we'll see what it happened. Of course, a lot of people are abusing the system. But for me, if I'm giving you money to go eat, there needs to be restrictions of what you can buy with this step that's being given to you. Yes. So eliminate some of the restrictions as a no, you can't buy that. There are certain restrictions. But you can't buy.
Starting point is 01:07:51 Coke is a restriction? Listen, I'm not advocating for Coca-Cola. I'm saying, but there are restrictions, meaning that you can't buy alcohol. You can't buy tobacco. Yeah, of course. What's weird is they don't let you buy hot prepared meals. If you ever go to Publix and you go to that, that's actually healthy versus like you'll let you buy chips, snacks, cookies.
Starting point is 01:08:07 Here's what you can't buy with SNAP. Can't. Alcohol. Cigorous, tobacco, nicotine products. cannabis and CBD. Thank God. Thank God, right. Now watch what else you can't buy with SNAP. You can't buy vitamins. You can't buy vitamins. You can't buy medicines. You can buy vitamins. You can't buy vitamins. You can buy supplements. You can't buy hot prepared foods at point of sale. You cannot use it at restaurant meals, right? When you go on certain place. You can't buy pets food, which is probably a good thing. That's good. Feeding your kids' cat food is not good. Cleaning supplies. Paper products, soap, laundry, detergent, cosmetics, personal hygiene, live animals. I cannot even believe they put that on. No, literally it says you cannot. You cannot. not buy live animals with limited expectations, such as you can buy the live fish,
Starting point is 01:08:46 or remove. So you can buy the live off? You're taking home. So to me, the question is, can you buy soda and candy? In certain states, beginning in 2026, I love this. You ready?
Starting point is 01:08:58 What state's leading this? Florida. Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, and Indiana have received USDA approval to prohibit snap purchases of certain items such as soda, nice. Candy, some energy drinks,
Starting point is 01:09:11 and in some states, certain sweetened, beverage or prepared desserts. Good for you, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, and Indiana. Nice. I think three of them are red states. I don't know if Indiana would be considered a red state. Oh, yeah. So there you go. If you think SNAP is expensive, way do you see what it costs when these kids are diabetic and on Medicaid? That's how I was going to say. And then what happens? And then who's paying for that? Big pharma comes in, sells the medication. The taxpayers are paying for both sides. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. The taxpayers bought him
Starting point is 01:09:36 of soda. The taxpayers are paying for his insulin. Yeah. Okay. Let me get to the next. Circle of tax. I want to get to folks. Is GTA, the greatest launch of a video game in the history of mankind. Their commercial, their second trailer, within 24 hours got 450 million views. Record breaking. 450 million views was their second trailer. I'm not going to play the trailer. If you can just show the viewership where it's at now go a little bit lower, the combined views they got within 24 hours. It's not just this one everywhere on all
Starting point is 01:10:07 platforms. 450 million views. They just hit a billion in how many downloads they've already sold of the video game. Commitments. The game doesn't come out until November of this year. The standard edition is $79. The ultimate edition is $99.99. And most people are buying that video game. They're expected to sell 40 to 45 million of this.
Starting point is 01:10:29 This is it. It has become a phenomenon, okay? Pre-order sales. $3 billion in revenue, Vinnie. GTA6 has reportedly surpassed 39 million pre-order sales and $3 billion in revenue. Nobody knows anything about the game yet. DeVM even told you what's going to happen with this.
Starting point is 01:10:50 It's already there, okay? The biggest release ever and the game doesn't come out till November. Insanity, when you think about this. Insanity. Wall Street remains bullish. BTIG-initiated coverage of Take-To Interactive with a buy rating of a $290-priced target, analysts, They're talking about this is going to be the biggest hit ever.
Starting point is 01:11:13 Raymond James and Andrew Merrick say the pricing is broadly in line with expectations. He believes $80 is reasonable despite exceeding the industry's current $70 standard. If there's one game that can price at $80 without garnering significant player pushback, it's Grand Theft Auto 6 is that game given its massive scale and anticipation. He notes that the ultimate edition carries only a 25% premium over the base game. The smallest premium rock star has charged for a deluxe. addition. Tom, why is this such a big deal? This is a legendary franchise. This is one of the top three selling video games of all time. Number one, of course, is Tetris and all of its
Starting point is 01:11:54 form. That's number one. Minecraft, I believe, is number two and number three. This is the, this is one of the Mount Rushmore franchises of video games. They've sold, you know how many units have been sold, guys? Four hundred and sixty million units. They're closing in on half a billion units with no cross with this release. The last release sold, which was 13 years ago, GTA 5, I remember this. It was a billion dollars in three days, a billion dollars in three days. Now, this is $3 billion on pre-sale waiting to go. This has been, and there's two sides to it.
Starting point is 01:12:32 Parents hated this. GTA, you're terrassing around town, doing all these things, robbing cars. There were things happening with prostitutes. Parents hated it, but it became this insane, insane franchise. And what's really interesting, by way, these are the units you're looking at there. You're not even looking at dollars. GTA is five on units. When you get to dollars, it's top three.
Starting point is 01:12:59 When you look at- Mario's number one at 950. Oh, yeah. Tetris is the-R-O-R-O-L. Well, Tetris is more dollars. These are... These are... These are units.
Starting point is 01:13:11 I was talking about dollars, but the point still stands. Look at this thing. Tom, when's the last time you play Tetris? Tetris? I still play Tetris from time to time. Do you really? Yeah, yeah. The only thing you see me playing is backgammon.
Starting point is 01:13:21 I'm a backgammon guy. But let me tell you. I have an old Tetris on a handheld that I still put batteries. The silver one, the gray one? It's like bad. You got to put the batteries in real careful. The plastic sold. But I still have it there back when Jamdat had acquired Tetris rights,
Starting point is 01:13:36 and that's part of why EA bought jammed at. But the last point I want to make here is this is a phenomena, but this has been one of the big criticisms of the impact on young men. This game is morally bankrupt, and that's the whole point of it, Grand Theft Auto, morally bankrupt. The big controversy that happened, you're going to remember this now. There was the Liberty City version of it that people didn't like it because it brought Miami down.
Starting point is 01:14:07 There was the, by the way, there was also going back the GTA 5 era, the ballot of gay Tony. There were all of these versions that came out with that they unabashedly went out there. Gay Tony? Yeah, here's Liberty City stories. Who's Gay Tony? Our Booker. Our Booker. No, no, who's gay Tony?
Starting point is 01:14:25 No, look it up. Go GTA. Is it really? There was a gay Tony character? Don't we get out of my Tony. Fat Tony. I think it was fat Tony. Gay Tony.
Starting point is 01:14:32 The Ballot of Gay Tony. What does that mean the ballot of gay Tony? It was an era where this guy, gay Tony, was one of the kids. I mean, they didn't, they didn't leave anybody out. Every episode, every brews on GTA offended somebody, and usually it was always parents. Listen, Pat, you want to know my opinion? I don't see why anybody would want to pay, what was it, $99 for a freaking game. Like, if you want to steal cars, rob people, shoot at cops, do drugs, get hookers, Tom, then beat them up afterwards.
Starting point is 01:15:04 Just go to Los Angeles. you can do it in real life and at least the graphics are better because you're actually doing it real and you probably won't even go to jail. Do it for real. Why need to play a video game? What a life changing advice?
Starting point is 01:15:14 By the way, Burj Khalifa took six years to build with $1.5 billion. This took 13 years to build, full production, eight years and $2 billion. So the Bourge Khalifa, if you want to pull up the Burj Khalifa, please so people can see the picture of it. The Bourge Khalifa, okay, this, the biggest building,
Starting point is 01:15:32 by the way, I don't know if you, have you ever been to it, Vinnie, all the way at the top? Because all the way at the top, they sell pastry. When you're at the top, the building moves a little bit. I don't like that. I know you and I like that kind of stuff. I love that.
Starting point is 01:15:41 Burj Khalifa, that building right there, costs less to make than this video game. Is that not crazy? You know, if you're 50th birthday, you know what I'm going to give you? What's that? They only do about five of them or ten of them a year, and you have to pay for it. They will take you up, hook you on a harness,
Starting point is 01:15:57 and take a picture of you sitting at the spire on the antenna on the very top, and a helicopter with a long lens takes your picture. You think that's a birthday gift? I'm trying to have. We know that. But you're up like this. Adam and I went one time to buy a penthouse, a 54th floor at what is that property? The one in Miami, what is the name of it?
Starting point is 01:16:19 It's a beautiful. It looks like the female's body. The designer died after she designed it. 1,000 Biscayne. We went all the way to the top. I had told Adam he was so worried about heights. I'm like, Adam, just look over. He wouldn't do it.
Starting point is 01:16:30 Right. That was me. But anyways, yeah, it's, it's, It's wild. I know you're not a video game guy. No, I have a comment, but I want to stay with the question for you. Do you let your kids play video games still? Saturdays and Sundays. Oh, so there's a...
Starting point is 01:16:43 Two hours. Saturdays and Sundays. What's the rule? What's the limit? If you have to read books, they have good grades. If you have one C you can't play, Saturday is Sunday. If you want to play, you have to do legs. Everybody has to do legs. Really? You have to read 20 pages.
Starting point is 01:16:56 And then if you do those two things, you get to play two hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Respect. Yeah. Do you play video games ever? I used to play Call of Duty, but dude, it was like literally six hours just yelling at freaking kids in Germany. I can't do it. Well, I'll just give you a quick anecdote. The last time I actually played video games, I think I was like eight years old.
Starting point is 01:17:16 And, you know, they say everything in moderation. Super Mario Brothers came out. Nintendo. Bro, I'm missing school. I'm not playing sports. I'm just in that thing. My dad comes in the house one day. He came home from work.
Starting point is 01:17:30 I'm playing video games. He comes into the house. Literally looks at me. He doesn't say a word, grabs the thing, tosses it in the garbage. Oh, my, man, the video game. He goes, here's a basketball, get your ass outside, get to work. And I swear to God, it's the last time I've ever had a video game console in my house, in my life. What did that lead to.
Starting point is 01:17:48 What a great father. I'm telling you. At the time, I hated him. But ended up playing basketball, getting a sports scholarship to one of the best schools in Miami, Miami Country Day. Ended up changing my life. What's my advice to the average person out there? Everything in moderation. If you're playing a game, you know, an hour or two, good for you.
Starting point is 01:18:04 If you're spending 10, 20, 40 hours a week. It's basically a full-time job. Get out there, touch some grass, read a book, write a bike, hit the gym. This is probably not doing anything good for your life. And maybe there's something better outside for you. All right. Let's go to the next one. The next one I'm going to is a story from an organization, Tom, ITR.
Starting point is 01:18:25 Can you pull up ITR that's been around since 1948? Just type an ITR-1948. Yeah, just happened, 1948. These guys have been predicting and forecasting what's going to happen to the economy, okay, since 1948. And they've been accurate 94.7% of the time. 94.7% of the time, they've been accurate. Okay, they just came out and they predicted.
Starting point is 01:18:54 They state that this figure is far as their overall forecast accuracy since 1985, based on their own audited methodology, it's not a claim that they correctly predicted 90. It is a claim that 94.7% of all economic events. And ITR has for years argued that the world is heading towards a major global depression in 2030. With the trough around 2036, so around a six-year period, they have built an entire research series around this thesis. Their argument is the following. and Tom, I'm coming to you first, and then definitely to Vinny next.
Starting point is 01:19:32 Yes. Their argument is based on several long-term structural trends. Number one, aging population and shrinking workforce. Number two, high government debt levels. Number three, rising entitlement obligations, which we just talked about snapping one of them. Number four, slower productivity growth. And number five, demographic shifts occurring simultaneously across many developed countries. Tom, do you agree with them that there will be a major global depression
Starting point is 01:20:04 in the 2030s? So to answer your question from earlier, I didn't remember it was ITR, but I remember reading about this long-term thing. And I believe, I don't know if it's the 30s, but there is merit to something. The first is people are retiring United States, and they're not being replaced with people that are, you know, earning as much. And so one argument is, well, just open the borders and let everybody work and make sure everybody pays taxes. And country debt and the long-term obligations on Social Security and Medicare. We're already having the discussions. And as a matter of fact, there was a poll last week.
Starting point is 01:20:46 And we, did we cover the story? I think we covered the story, Pat. Which one? The poll about how people, it was a poll and it was bookended. People in their 30s were not in favor of continuing to pay. higher taxes for Social Security, but people in their 70s were not in favor of cutting their Social Security benefits. So the chart was like an X exactly along what you would think, the 10-year age lines. So there's two parts to it. They're correct about government debt needs to be
Starting point is 01:21:17 corrected. When we're paying now more interest on the debt than our defense spending, we've got a problem. So that's got to work itself out. And then what do we do with the aging population? we already see what's happening to health care. And what this study just says, listen, guys, somewhere around 2030, three years from now, it's got a break and it's got a shift and it will take five years to correct itself. So they're saying there would be like a 2008 to 2009. Remember we had to bounce back in 2009. Guess what?
Starting point is 01:21:50 What they're saying, it's going to be a 2008 and it's not going to bounce back to 2013. So they're saying there's going to be this major correction based on these things. I can't argue against their arguments of the macro factors. Does it happen this way or do we find ways around it? I don't know. Is Elon Musk right that we're going to have such productivity boom that we're going to have UBI for everybody under 100 grand a year, that everybody under 100 grand is going to get paid for out of the taxes because we're going to tax the robots and stuff?
Starting point is 01:22:22 But I'll tell you, you can't argue against their point. points. Their points are right. Yeah, and by the way, a part of it is the fertility rate. The other one is boomers are retiring and we got to take care of them with Social Security. We saw the numbers if you want to pull it up with Social Security. It's running out in 2032, which, by the way, when you're sitting down and thinking about the numbers, they've been saying this in your, if you've not looked at your Social Security statement, just so you know, in your Social Security statement, you know what they put in there the last 20 years, that this is going to run out of money in 2032. Like, you know, when you get yours, have you ever
Starting point is 01:22:55 looked at your Social Security statement? Nope. Okay, when they send it in, they tell you, they've been telling you this for 20 plus years. The fund is going to run out of money by 2032-ish. I don't know what the exact numbers, but they've been saying that. So, yeah, right there. So what is that? Social Security
Starting point is 01:23:10 insolvency now projected for 2032, putting benefits at risk of a 22% cut. You know who's worried about this? There's 70 million Americans across the board benefits that are sitting there saying, what do you mean you're going to cut 22% of it by 2032? We don't have a choice is what they're saying. We don't have the money. So they're talking about boomers
Starting point is 01:23:30 retiring and they're counting on this. Major economies like China, Europe, Japan, South Korea are aging simultaneously. The government debt, which is what we just talked about, millions of experienced workers retiring, fewer young workers replacing them, rising wages, squeeze business margins while slowing overall economic growth. You just saw the story with Apple, which we'll get into here in a minute. Adam, when you hear something like this, how do you react to it? Well, you know, I said if you don't learn from history, you're destined to repeat it. They're saying this is going to start in the, in the 2030s. Depression begins around 2030, is what they say, and it ends in 2036. So exactly 100 years prior was basically, I think,
Starting point is 01:24:09 Black Tuesday. That was, I think, in 1929, October of 1929, that's basically when the stock market crashed. And then the 1930s was a season where the banks failed unemployment, I think, went to 25 percent. Businesses were closed. And then FDR came out the New Deal, and the coup de grace was basically U.S. entered World War II in 1941. So it was a horrible year for America, but it was a worse year, worst decade for the rest of the world. Now, are they saying that this is going to be a global depression? Global depression. The globe. So not even a United States.
Starting point is 01:24:42 No, no, no. Global. Exactly. So here's my point. You know, they say when the United States sneezes, the rest of the world gets a cold. So I'd be way more worried if I'm the rest of the world. Reserve currency. COVID. What happened? I don't want to get COVID.
Starting point is 01:24:55 COVID. COVID. But look, all you can do, like, who knows if this is going to happen or not? All you could do is equip yourself in the meantime to work, earn, save, and invest, and put yourself in a position that, God forbid, something like this happens, you have the skills and the prerequisites to make sure that you're not one of the masses. We're waiting in a food line. Guy asked me a question on Manette literally two days ago, St.
Starting point is 01:25:15 Pat, if this is what you guys are talking about and this is what's going to be happening in the future, how are you personally preparing yourself with it? Yeah. our brand is what? Future looks like right. Right behind you right there. Boom. Future looks bright.
Starting point is 01:25:25 I don't even got to turn around, Pat. I already know by heart. It's right behind you, right? Future looks bright. And we believe in that. I fully believe in that. And my job when I get around anybody is to try to baptize you
Starting point is 01:25:33 into believing that as well. Anywhere I go, I especially where to have because it's such a big conversation starter. Anywhere you go, people look at you and when anybody frowns like, they make a noise like that. What happened?
Starting point is 01:25:45 Do you not agree the future looks right? No, I don't believe the future looks bright. And you want to have that conversation with them. But he says, what are you doing this situation? like this. I said, look, you can, one, hear fear porn like this and get scared and do nothing. That is the worst thing you can do. Number two, you can diversify your assets and know that if a global depression takes place, guess what's taking a hit? And any, you don't know what's going to be
Starting point is 01:26:10 taking a hit. Potentially everything could be taking a hit. But if you have a little bit of gold, if you have a little bit of real estate, if you have some stocks, if you have some crypto, if you have some non-duplicatable assets and you have savings in place to get through it, you should be okay. But I think the reason why this is going to be happening eventually, and I don't know the exact timeline on when it will happen, you know why I think, Tom, this is going to be eventually happening? Because no candidate can actually do what is the right thing to do for America and get elected.
Starting point is 01:26:44 That's the problem. And no one will. No, because, hey, what are you going to campaign for? I'm cutting Social Security and extending the age five years. Okay, you're done. What are you going to do? I'm eliminating 80% of snap and only the people that are going to get it. You have a six-month timeline before you go and get a job.
Starting point is 01:27:01 Okay, you're not getting elected. What are you going to do? I'm cutting spending in every aspect of our spending. We're going to renegotiate all the contracts and doge. Oh, you're going to jail. What are you going to do? Everything you campaign on, which is the right thing to do, you're probably not going to get elected.
Starting point is 01:27:15 And here's what happens. Guys, pull up the thing I just sent you, protest against austerity in Athens and Berlin? 2013. Is this it? 2015. Older American support raising... This is the chart that's hysterical, where younger American says,
Starting point is 01:27:29 cut benefits for grandpa. Grandpa says, no, cut benefits for the young workers. And then grandpa says, keep my retirement. And the young workers said, no. So guess what? Both ends are voting for themselves. For sure they are. Of course.
Starting point is 01:27:43 That's how they vote. But now watch the Guardian article, guys, that I just sent you. It's in the... There we go. This here, send that away. This is 2015. Let me read the below.
Starting point is 01:27:54 Read below it. Obviously, this guy's bludied up. Demonstrations against the Greek bailout deal were staged in Berlin as riots broke out in Athens in some of the most serious violence in over two years. Police responded with tear gas. Why is that? Because hundreds of people
Starting point is 01:28:09 were protesting after the Greek parliament voted to approve austerity measures. Translation, they cut Social Security and they raise taxes on the youth. And take a look. All the young people are in favor of, hey, cut the benefits a little for the older. And then you had old people also protesting is, no, this is what happened in Greece when the parliament went bankrupt and they had no choice in 2015. Yeah, I mean, that's coming to America. It's exactly right. And it's going to be a feud between the elderly
Starting point is 01:28:41 and the youth. And they're going to say, you screwed us over. That's what the youth is going to say. You can't cut my benefits. And the old. And the old folks are going to be like, you have no right to tell me anything. I've been working and paying my taxes and I deserve every penny. This is what I, so that argument is going to create a bit of a division. By the way, prices. Apple gets criticized yesterday. They lose $270 billion dollars of market cap because they announced they're raising their prices. Let me tell you what the prices are looking like. The MacBook Air 13 inch, 512 gigabyte, old price 1099. New price, 1299. It's up 20% give or take, $200. MacBook Air from 1699 to 1990. This is the one terabyte. Macbook Neo,
Starting point is 01:29:21 599 to 699. iPad Air 11, 599 to 749. Big percentage. iPad Pro, 999 to 1199. iPad Pro 13 inch, 1299 to 1499. HomePod, 299 to 349. HomePod Mini, 99 to 1299. Vision Pro, 3499 to 3699. So max roughly up 15 to 20%. iPads roughly up 15 to 25%. Apple TV and HomePod products also increase. No increase yet that they've announced on iPhone, Apple Watch, or AirPods.
Starting point is 01:29:54 Very interesting. You know who followed suit? Xbox, Microsoft followed suit, and they raised their prices on everything. They raised the Microsoft 365 Basic from $6 to $7. Like literally on every single thing. They increased it by 50.
Starting point is 01:30:09 15, 17, 21. And on the Windows Enterprise per device, they increase it by 31%. Why? Can you tell us, Tom, are these guys jerks? Are they just rich capitalists? Or did they have to do it because their cost is going up? Well, we all know what happened to groceries when diesel fuel went up, right? Well, guess what the diesel fuel of a computer is?
Starting point is 01:30:31 A processor chip and then memory chips. And memory chips are ridiculously inflated right now because there's a shortage because the demands up. So they haven't been, there's not like a war stopping chips from being made. Just the demands suddenly skyrockets with data centers, more deluxe consoles. Everything needs chips. And do you remember when there was an actual shortage of chips during COVID because chip workers couldn't go to work? What happened to cars? They got more expensive. Because what was in the dashboard of cars? Chips. Ford even told you. Chips. There were three checks that were part of a board that made the in-dash system in the navigation.
Starting point is 01:31:09 And Ford said, I can't get those chips. I got the whole car ready to go, but I can't get these chips. And it was a chip shortage of 2020, 2020, 23 during COVID. And that was where workers weren't, they were like, you have to be six feet apart. Well, you know, some of them are furloughed. Now what you have is people are still making chips. But Pat, they're not making enough of them fast enough. We have a shortage.
Starting point is 01:31:32 Yeah. Well, I mean, it's going to end up happening more and more. And this leads to what they're saying could happen in 2030. Some of it's got to get regulated. I like what the president said yesterday, where he's like, look, I want to do the housing thing to help the people that at the bottom are trying to buy a house. But at the same time, some of the people that are finally rich and they have some equity. I also don't want them to lose their wealth. It's a very interesting.
Starting point is 01:31:52 Because that's all sort. Kind of like Brandon's like, I think there needs to be market correction. Why? Because he's trying to buy a house. And a person that owns the house is like, no, I don't want a market correction right now. I want to be able to sell my house and keep that. So that feud, I think it's going to intensify, Vinny. I think that feud's going to intensify.
Starting point is 01:32:07 I want to wrap up with the last story here because I've got to go see somebody is a story between the comparison of this girl named Millie Alzcock, I think is our last name. Is that Alskok? No, S, just Alcock. Not Alck. That's a whole difference. Are you joking with me or no? I am so sorry.
Starting point is 01:32:26 I thought it's, okay, I'm sorry, Millie Alcock. I didn't do it on purpose. Millie Alcock from Supergirl who is giving her interview. And then I want you to see the girl in the Navarete. Indy, if you're out there, I have a friend who kind of likes you. She has a boyfriend. That she really, but listen, I have a better boyfriend for you. Indy Navarrete, from Obsession, which we both watch Obsession.
Starting point is 01:32:49 She made the movie. She is ridiculous. We put her on screen. So let's see both interviews and you tell me how you feel about it. Vinny, this is your first. There's two of them, Connor. There's this one and then there's, I want you to play the, yeah, play this one first, Pat. This is just, by the way, you would think she'd seen the, like, if you're
Starting point is 01:33:07 playing as an actor, as an actress. If you're playing Supergirl, don't you think doing the research and watching the actual original would be something good? It'd be a good thing. Okay, and then, yeah, after this one, I'll show the other one, but yeah, play this one really quick. Uh-oh. Watch the original Supergirl movie. I haven't. I haven't.
Starting point is 01:33:23 Do you watch a lot of comic films? Sometimes. You've gotten more into it through this experience in James Gunn, kind of telling you about the ropes? Yeah, definitely. Yeah, my favorite, I'd say my favorite, like, superhero film is the Incredibles? Daddy Bill is so, so good.
Starting point is 01:33:43 Both of them. Amazing. And we'll get a third one soon too. Hopefully, yeah. All right, show the other clip. Now, this is a reporter that's trying, I don't want to say Bader, Pat, but it's Pride Month, and he's basically asking, like,
Starting point is 01:33:56 if the character that she played in the movie, could they possibly be in the LGBTQ community? Is that even matter? That's what I'm saying. This is Hollywood. The most important thing. Cushing online about chorus, queerness. in the course. Was that something that you
Starting point is 01:34:09 explored when you were preparing for the problem? It wasn't, but in honor of Pride Month, as I'm getting all these questions, I don't know, I think that what makes this film so beautiful is that it's not centered around a man, it's not centered around, love it. Great. If anything.
Starting point is 01:34:25 But, we'll see. I don't really know, but I don't know. I don't know. She probably go both ways. She probably goes both ways. By the way, Supergirls and audience DC. It's like kids are a lot of like why would you even bring like like is this a girl from
Starting point is 01:34:42 obsession and now okay now guys like do me a favor this is this is the indianavareti from from obsession you want to talk about class and how to conduct a proper interview pat this is how you do the interview come the obsession of so many folks from obsession did you know that this was going to be such a hit no not at all I feel like whenever we were making it we had so much fun and the fact that that everybody else is kind of having this response, we're just like, oh my God, so we feel involved, but also kind of like, how did we get here? You know, it's just mind boggling.
Starting point is 01:35:14 Everybody is trying to cast you in the next thing, including they want you to be cast alongside Michael B. Jordan in his next movie, the fourth wing and every... You have seen this. I have seen this because I said that I'm a really big fan of fourth wing and I would love to play Violet. But I mean, at the end of the day, I really want the studio to find who they want to find
Starting point is 01:35:30 and what everybody thinks is like the perfect role. But if that happens to me, that would be phenomenal. So if you could send a message to them right now, what would you tell them? I want you guys to pick the perfect violet. And if it happens to be me, then that would be beautiful. But if not, I will tune in anyways. You know what? What a great answer.
Starting point is 01:35:47 Seriously. India, call Vinnie already. Leave her alone. Stop playing games. Vinnie's right here. And you would like, no, Vinnie, stop it. Look at the difference. She's clearly talking to you when she's doing this interview.
Starting point is 01:35:58 You would think after the studios saw Rachel Zegler and Snow White, every studio would tell. Weird. Keep the focus on the movie, okay? Who, like, who, think about Adam. You're spending 170 million on the movie, probably 300 some million all around. If you're the director, if you're the producers, I would go up to them and say, listen, I know you have your own opinion and everything, but just shut up about anything LGBT. Stop alienating people. We put up the money.
Starting point is 01:36:28 We're the ones that put up 170 million, probably 300 million with all the advertising and everything. Will you please shut up? And I get the debating reporters. The reporter's job said, yeah, she's gay, is this, is that? Even that guy was trying to bait her into saying something. But it's like, bro, come on, man. Hollywood keeps making the same mistake, all right? Just, and then they act shocked when the box office happens, and they all lose it.
Starting point is 01:36:51 Well, that's why you're here, because the Hollywood red carpet is a bubble. It's a degenerate bubble. And you're not there anymore. You're here. You're doing VT comedy. You're doing, you know, hot takes, hot cakes. you're doing the any rant.
Starting point is 01:37:05 And the reason you're here and you're not part of that is because of this. And this doesn't surprise me, but guess what? The expiration date on these bubbleheads is coming because they're all going to be
Starting point is 01:37:14 AI actors and actresses. You just hope the following time. You just hope. I remember when I was first coming up in insurance and I was very childlike and I was very excited. It was like, man, I was like,
Starting point is 01:37:27 I'm in love with this industry. I love what we're doing. They would say, man, don't change, Pat. Don't change. Keep this, you know, twinkle, this excitement, the way, you know,
Starting point is 01:37:36 this feeling in as you're going. You just hope she doesn't change. You know, Andy's going to change, but you hope it doesn't become like so Hollywood and do you know who I am and stuff like that. Because then you lose the person you originally fell in love with, which the artist. You're like, I love this person.
Starting point is 01:37:52 I'm rooting for them. But anyways, we are at the end of the podcast. We're going to wrap up earlier today than we usually do. Folks, thank you for all of you guys that went to vtmerch.com to support Venezuela. And again, 100% of anything you order today on the website is going to go to families in Venezuela that are impacted by it. If you have a family, let us know we'd love to find a way with the amount of sales that we make today, whatever the amount is.
Starting point is 01:38:14 Anything that comes through, we'll try to do our best to support them. But I've got two things I want to announce. Actually, three of them. Yes. Let me first start off with announcing a couple that works for us, and they do such a good job here. Alejandra and her husband, Yonardi, Caballero. He was such a great job. It is his birthday today.
Starting point is 01:38:33 He never misses the podcast. Johnardian, Alejandro, Vinny came and told me about it. So because of Vinny, you're getting a shout out, happy birthday to you. And then today, 17 years ago, my wife and I got married today. 17 years ago, we got married today. 12 years later, a little baby Brooklyn was born on our anniversary. Okay? So this is baby Brooklyn.
Starting point is 01:38:56 She is five years old today. There is nothing like baby Brooklyn. Brooklyn is reminding everybody. She wants to make sure everybody knows. Look at them. It's her birthday today. She gives the best massages to daddy, the best kisses,
Starting point is 01:39:13 Fireball, favorite uncle. She's always with Vinny. I love her. Her and Vinny are always hanging out together at the house. They're together. So, babe, happy 17 year anniversary, babe. It's been 17 years of craziness. She gave me the best.
Starting point is 01:39:28 card this morning. It was a nicest card I got this morning. She put 17 things. I'm grateful for of us being together for 17 years. The best card she, I told us, it's the best card you've ever given me. But 17 years today and in Brooklyn, five, Brooklyn, we love you. You're the best. You're the number one fireball of the family. You're nonstop from the moment you wake up to sleep and I think Uncle Vinny wants to say something. I just, you can't get mad at me. She, she cornered me and she pressured me. I bought her candy neck. No, you didn't stop it. Oh, she. I got, okay. She was like, she brought me for five minutes and she goes,
Starting point is 01:40:03 just get me a ring pop ring and a bracelet. I'm sorry, but she's a freaking lawyer. She's like, and ready for this? Melva's like, no. And then she goes, no, no, no, I had to. I can't lie to you. I'm not going to lie to you. I bought her freaking candy.
Starting point is 01:40:17 I'm sorry. Number one, happy anniversary. Number two, happy birthday, Brooklyn. You're doing your father's day. You're being a good father on July 1st, I want to say. Yeah, yeah, yeah. July 1st, VT. Web. In honor of your anniversary, I'm just curious.
Starting point is 01:40:31 And but just, hold on, Vince. Okay, I'm sorry. I'm asking the boss a question. The key to staying married and happy and, and, you know, I told this amount of time. I told this to, I told this to, I told this to, I told this to Taylor and Lewis the other day. We went to dinner at Casa and with the time, it was a great conversation. One of the best pieces of advice I got is you're going to have, you're going to have bad days. And you're going to have bad months.
Starting point is 01:40:55 You know, when you go through the bad days and bad months, you know, you know, when you go through the bad days and bad months, the same way when the market goes through a bad year, don't overreact. Stay in the market. Buy in the market. You're going to go through it. You're going to go through it. But do your best to buy and hold. Do your best to buy and hold.
Starting point is 01:41:13 It's going to be challenging when you're going through it. There's going to be so many things that's going to happen that nobody prepares you for. And everyone's going to be different. Everyone is going to be different. As you're aging, health happens. Like, you know, I've dealt with a bunch of things health-wise the last four months. health happens. You're like, what is this all about? I've never experienced this before in life. And then life happens or finances happen or, you know, loss of a loved one in the family,
Starting point is 01:41:35 or she's going through something, kids are going through something, big decisions you've got to make, business decisions you got to make, and you just want to be able to buy and hold and try to not make the decision in that moment. Take a year on the decision because if you, if a year later you still feel that way, then maybe you must act on it. Like, I'm glad my parents got a divorce. I think it was a right thing they did. It was just too chaotic. It was bad. And as a kid, I didn't want it.
Starting point is 01:41:59 But later on, you're like, you know what? I understand why you guys did it. But to me, if you can buy and hold and through the tough times, good for you guys. And remember, we also had a birthday for Tom three days ago. We wish Tom a happy birthday three days ago. And also Bailey. Bailey's birthday. Today, same as.
Starting point is 01:42:16 Bailey and Brooklyn are the same birthday. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. The great Bailey. You have to use the word great when you talk about Bailey. Bailey is one of a kind. Oh, my God. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:25 No, Bailey is one of a kind. And she is the oldest kid in the family that everybody just kind of looks up to. And she's such a great example to everybody. When the kids are around, and you know what I like about Bailey? Let me tell you what I like about Bailey. Every time I'm around Bailey, she wants to talk to me and she wants a relationship. We have a relationship. We have the best conversations to get.
Starting point is 01:42:44 And you know what I like about that? It's Tom brokers that relationship. Tom will encourage and say, go talk to Pat. Always we edify because, like, if my kids want to talk to Tom, I always want to encourage him. I'll never say anything bad about Tom. because I want their relationship. And sometimes, you know, when that dynamic isn't there, you can't get feedback to the person's kid
