Starting point is 00:00:00 The Trump-Musk War, what does it mean? Could mean good things, it could mean very bad things. Let's take a look. Hello everyone, I am Dr. Chris Martinson of Peak Prosperity. We're going to talk about this, the Musk-Trump war, the Trump-Musk war, whichever way you look at it, and the coming economic crisis.
Starting point is 00:00:42 I think this means bad things are on the way. Here's why Let's start it began on June 3rd with Elon Musk saying that it was disgusting. He said I'm sorry But I just can't stand it anymore This massive outrageous pork-filled congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination Shame on those of you who voted for it. you know you did wrong, you know it. 19 million views, that came out at 131 in the afternoon on June 3rd. So that was the opening salvo.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Now Musk had just slept on the floor, given up a lot of his life, had his Tesla brand, which he poured so much into, just immolated on the world stage. Obviously, for whatever mysterious reason, the media decided that Elon was a fascist for wanting to look at where we were spending money as a government and maybe trimming some of that and finding the fraud, waste, and abuse. Intolerable, obviously, to whole cohorts
Starting point is 00:01:38 and sections of the world even, with Elon being called a Nazi fascist in Italy Germany Canada you name it right so he put up with a lot and then it comes through all of that and then what happens? Nothing, we get this big fat obese spending bill which is going to require So called Republicans to raise the debt ceiling by five trillion dollars just to make it through a couple more years It's it's so he was upset about that Understandably so and potentially, you know, here's why you know what US debt is a big problem and we all know it's a problem
Starting point is 00:02:15 I think that a lot of people who are on the Magasi voted Specifically to start addressing the debt problem and it was never going to be easy. It was never going to be fun Because to address the debt problem means you have to stop Adding more debt which means the deficit has to be brought down which means that government's spending has to be brought down which means the Economy is going to be brought down Nobody who's in power who's elected wants to do any of those things ever so of course it was going to be a fight But it was the right thing to do the way I'm reading this Elon was acting out of principle This is a principled statement right here
Starting point is 00:02:49 You know you did wrong. It's a moral statement wrong is a moral statement. You know it So he's making a moral declaration and of course. I believe this is a moral issue It's immoral for one generation to spend beyond its means and then just slide the bill to the next generation saying you pay for it Not cool never should happen now Immediately afterwards Trump said quote. I'm very disappointed with Elon. I've helped him a lot He knew the inner workings of the bill better than anybody sitting here He had no problem with it all of a sudden he had a problem and he only developed the problem when he found out We were gonna cut EV mandates That was on June 5th 10 a.m he only developed the problem when he found out we were gonna cut EV mandates
Starting point is 00:03:26 that was on June 5th 10 a.m. Trump from the Oval Office and This made it personal Trump just said oh no Elon knew all about this whole thing right from the get-go and he only had a problem with it when his personal pocketbook was gonna be Affected now that got immediately community noted readers added context. It was even in 2021 that Elon Musk supported eliminating EV tax credits and gas oil subsidies calling Biden's EV spending bill Unnecessary he made another comment like that in June of 2025. He's also said that same thing in 2324 So Elon has been okay with cutting the EV subsidies for the whole time So Elon has been okay with cutting the EV subsidies for the whole time. Elon at the top there, we can see he said false.
Starting point is 00:04:08 This bill was never shown to me even once and was passed in the dead of night so fast that almost no one in Congress could read it. And in fact, that's true. We are now seeing today here on the 6th of June, lots of people talking about in Congress, congressional people that they didn't know was in there, including that odious AI removal of states' rights to regulate AI provision that we have been, we remarked on a number of days ago. 1100 pages. It gets given to you in the middle of the night.
Starting point is 00:04:35 You have to vote on it the next day. That is how our system runs in the US. It's disgusting. It's gross. But at any rate, two falsehoods right there. So that was June 5th at 10 a.m. then by 1120 Elon Musk is digging up old Trump tweets such as Trump saying in I think this is from 2013 or something I believe when he said Donald Trump said I cannot believe the Republicans are extending
Starting point is 00:04:59 the debt ceiling I am a Republican and I am embarrassed and now of course he's calling for a five trillion trillion debt ceiling extension. Elon Musk sort of rubbing some salt in there saying wise words. In fact, then the X war really began kind of in earnest. Elon Musk retweeting this saying, where is the man who wrote these words? Was he replaced by a body double? Oh yeah, here you can see. Yep.
Starting point is 00:05:21 2013 Donald Trump wrote that quote. Here's another one from 2012, Donald Trump. No member of Congress should be eligible for re-election if our country's budget is not balanced. Deficit's not allowed. And then here in 2012, no, we're supplying to that. Donald Elon Musk said I couldn't agree more. All right, so that started happening
Starting point is 00:05:45 and next thing you know, Trump tweets out and he says the easiest way to save money in our budget, billions and billions of dollars, to terminate Elon's governmental subsidies and contracts. I was always surprised Biden didn't do it. Whoops. Donald, one of the things that Elon does is puts more tonnage of things into space
Starting point is 00:06:03 than anybody else in the world, including NASA especially. So that was not a well considered tweet. And then next thing you know, Musk retweeted all of this, right? So this is just all things that Donald Trump had said in the past, most of it back from 2011, 12, 13, things like that. So he might, Donald Trump said, for example, quote, we could use the balanced budget amendment.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Politicians don't have the will to cut spending. He said here, quote, our 17 trillion national debt, oh, so quaint, what a quaint number, now it's 37 trillion, and one trillion yearly budget deficit are a national security risk of the highest order. Well, now we have two and a half trillion dollar deficits and all that on and on. So then that gets retweeted. Next thing you know, uh, Trump says this, should people not take him seriously about spending hours? He's all sour grapes. Now he worked hard and he did a good job. And I'll be honest,
Starting point is 00:07:00 I think he misses the place. I think he got out there and all of a sudden he wasn't in this beautiful oval office and he was and he's got nice offices too. But there's something about this when I was telling the chancellor. So I don't need to go on. But but he's he's suggesting that that Elon just misses the White House. So he's he's on narcissistic. He just wants attention and or greedy.
Starting point is 00:07:22 He just wanted government subsidies. That's how Trump chose to frame it now obviously Elon sacrificed a lot to try and help the country and then this is what happened so a little bit of a catfight going on here I gotta be honest I don't believe anybody should treat allies and friends that way but then it all dialed up a huge notch with Elon Musk saying time to drop a really big bomb at real Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day. That's June 5th later in the afternoon there. So, oh, ouch, seen by 197 million people are
Starting point is 00:07:59 viewed 197 million times. Ouch, that dialed it right up. Now, what's interesting is well I mean it's really awkward coming on the heels of this which we reported on before right that Cash Patel and Dan Bongino came out and said Epstein killed himself which nobody believes right and if you believe that's true Then release the data evidence to show that because as I've reviewed extensively the pathological findings in the postmortem, assuming those are real pictures of actually Jeffrey Epstein that we got from the autopsy report, he was killed by something pulling very, very hard from directly behind him, not a slumping jailhouse hanging.
Starting point is 00:08:37 So we all know that. So this was awkward, we didn't know what to make of it, and then Elon comes out and drops this little bomb, the Rooney here, and we'll see what that all means now there are two possibilities we have to consider at this stage the first possibility is that there's some deeper game of 4d chess 3d chess 6d chess playing out behind the scenes and we just can't see it and we're just gonna have to trust that there's something really clever happening back there or Everything is exactly as it seems. It's chaotic. It's random mostly unplanned and we're lurching from one moment to the next and
Starting point is 00:09:18 Between the two I would say I wait option 2 to 85 to 90 percent the most likely as Being the correct version of things Increasingly, I think that's what we're seeing now Shame on me for being slow to get to this point because I do believe in this quote from Maya Angelou Which is that when someone shows you who they are believe them the first time I? Had thought that Trump had really been a changed man because Butler, Pennsylvania happened. He seemed to Understand in his inaugural address. He seemed to understand that God had a hand Potentially in turning his head saving him that he was saved for a reason and that reason was to come and rescue America now
Starting point is 00:09:57 As you and I know To rescue America You would have to get it out of the hands of the corrupt deep state and all these people out there Who are just? Parasiting their way through government positions and bleeding the country dry While leaving it in a really terrible state with respect to energy infrastructure monetary policy fiscal policy Energy policy we have so many things soil. What's happened? We're so stupid where the insects why do we have all these so many people with cancer? How come we have so many people with autism?
Starting point is 00:10:28 Let's face it the country is a hot mess and I was kind of hopeful that what we were gonna See was somebody to come along and say timeout. It doesn't have to be this way we can do better and January started out that way, but then by March seemed to fritter away And now we seem to be back to just sort of randomness now. What are the implications of this? Let's go through them very quickly first. It looks like the United States government debt cycle is unstoppable it's going to continue until it breaks and The blob the deep state to entrench to dislodge everybody who's come up against it seems to change their tune
Starting point is 00:11:05 Then they get those awkward hostage videos like Epstein killed himself Blink blink blink right twitch Our national energy policy. It's totally incoherent right now. I've been covering this extensively at peak prosperity look We're at peak oil. We're closed soon. Not that far away from peak gas natural gas. Oh oil, we're close, soon not that far away from peak gas, natural gas. Oh my goodness, we are gonna see a vastly altered landscape over the next 10-20 years and somebody whose adult needs to be thinking about this particular predicament good and hard. Trump, he doesn't have allies, he only has loyalists, you're either on Team Trump or you're getting booted out and he's very ungracious about it and
Starting point is 00:11:41 that's fine except that's no way to win political capital Which is what you need to deal with any of the top three things that I've just listed out here You don't solve any of those things up there With executive orders it takes real people coming together in a bipartisan fashion working together to get these things done Foreign allies similarly are gonna pull back. They're just gonna wait it all out You know what this looks like a little bit of a hot mess. We'll wait till the midterms. We'll wait till the next presidential cycle. That's what we're going to do now at this point in time. And then in other words, what does this mean to me? It means there's no
Starting point is 00:12:14 chance of a political solution outside of a third party. Now that may be too little, too late, even if it does materialize, but we now see that Elon Musk had put up a poll. I voted in it. Over five million people voted. He asked the question, is it time for a third party? Five million people voted well over 80 percent said, yeah, absolutely. No question about it. Nicole Shanahan also saying, yeah, time to do that. So maybe maybe we get a third party finally in the United States. I thought that's what the Trump administration was going to be.
Starting point is 00:12:44 But with the fact that we don't have any audits of Fort Knox, nobody from the back, from the prior to this administration has been arrested for doing things like attempting to overthrow a seated president, right? Which has lots of laws written against it for good reason, right? There are a lot of things that people could be charged with, but nobody's going to be charged, which means number two, the deep state, the charged with but nobody's going to be charged which means Number two the deep state the blob. It's just going to carry on It's going to do what it's going to do It is going to ruin this country and when I say it is going to that is no longer a statement of probability
Starting point is 00:13:15 That is a hundred percent guarantee on this trajectory the United States gets ruined Which is why part two of this report for my subscribers I'm going to talk about that economic crisis this is now a matter of when not if and you need to plan accordingly with that I'm Chris Martinson I am going to tune out here for everybody out here in public space peak prosperity subscribers follow me back we've got a very important report for you to talk about when not if until next time everybody else bye for now and please keep your head on a swivel become educated and learn about what's going on you're gonna need every advantage you can get bye for now Music
